At entrance, we will welcomed by the story teller and a music performance by the dancer and musician. But. The original bridge according to the history, is not the extention bridge. But the one that the cars use to crossed the river. After the welcome performance, please donate to the donation box. And they also sell a mechandise to tourist.

The most famous bridge in Sabah with a song dedicated to it. However this current 200m suspension bridge was not the original one crossing Tamparuli river. The old suspension bridge was swept away by flood in 1999. The walk along suspension bridge is not too unnerving as there is a limit to the numbers of people allowed at any one time. The view of the river, Pekan Tamparuli and the surrounding is spectacular from the bridge centre. Interesting is the folklore connected to the old bridge built by the British in 1930s, concerns the sacrifice of a maiden to appease the river spirit. Her body was supposedly buried alive under the first pier of the bridge. How's that for a macabre story! Today the bridge is well visited by tourists. A volunteer(?) group from a local cultural NGO provides traditional dance performance at the western bank start point of the bridge. No fees collected but donations are most welcomed. Visitors can park their cars at an open space near the river western bank. Else you can park in Pekan Tamparuli and approach the bridge from the eastern side， next to the market place.

It's a good experience crossing the bridge. It was the rainy season when we came, so the river's quite high. At the other end of the bridge is a team from the Cultural and Arts Society Tuaran, entertaining us with their music and dance.

Just like any other bridge but it has its history though. Entertainment is provided after you alight from the bridge in the form of cultural dance.

Fantastic meal and a good go at the driving range where we saw a Saltwater crocodile (!) and Monitors. Birds are also all around the course. Staff are great, as in the rest of the Rasa Ria resort.

Lovely 18 hole course which is part of the Rasa Ria resort. Challenging course with lots of water hazards. Par 3 11th home is very picturesque. Great wildlife around whilst playing - we saw monitor lizards, herons, eagles, Macau monkeys, humming birds + other birds & insects. Hire clubs available with gold buggies. Recommend early tee off time due to heart & humidity. We played at 8sm & then 6.30am - the latter being the better time. Cost for a round with buggy & hire clubs was c£85. Highly recommended.

We only visited the driving range, which was shooting balls into a lake in a beautiful setting. The course looked great but we didn't actually play it. Staff were helpful and nice and the restaurant was good too.

Just played a round at Dalit Bay Golf & Country Club in Sabah — what a hidden gem! ⛳️ The course is beautifully laid out between the sea, rivers, and rainforest, with Mount Kinabalu peeking through on clear days. Super peaceful and scenic — definitely one of the most relaxing rounds I’ve had. The fairways were in great shape, greens rolled true, and it’s challenging enough to keep things interesting without being frustrating. Lots of water hazards though — so bring a few extra balls 😅. The course winds through the Shangri-La Rasa Ria resort, so you get that luxury vibe. Staff were very polite, helpful, and the buggies had GPS (always a bonus). After the round, we chilled at the clubhouse with a cold drink and watched the sun dip behind the hills — perfect end to the day. Only heads-up: it can get hot midday, so I recommend an early tee-off. And it’s a bit of a drive from Kota Kinabalu town, but worth the trip if you’re in the area. If you're a golfer visiting Sabah, this one’s a must-play. Beautiful, calm, and very well maintained

Not sure where to bring your kids during holiday? Here's is a good place for family outing and spend time with. There had crocodile show at 1pm when we arrived. It was breathtaking and very atmospheric. We were very excited. 😆 Besides of a lot of crocodiles 🐊, there have other animals like monkey, pond fishes, rabbit, turtle, snakes, goose, goat etc. There also sell drinks, ice cream, some souvenir, and also crocodile egg 🥚!! You need to buy ticket at entrance. But it's definitely worth the ticket in my opinions.

This place is a damn long way out, with a single-lane road for the last 7 kilometers—traffic jams all the way. When you finally get there, you face two different entrance fees: 35 MYR for foreigners and 18 MYR for locals. But the real shock hits once you step inside. Honestly, I’d say this feels more like a dump than a crockodile farm. The crocodiles are stuck in algae-covered, rusty concrete pits with dirty water. Some even have visible infections around their snouts, which is really concerning. I politely asked the staff multiple times to turn down the incredibly loud music blasting nonstop, but it never stopped. A place like this should be calm and peaceful so visitors can enjoy the animals—not overwhelmed by noise. The whole facility looks neglected and rundown. Considering all that, the prices are way too high for what you get. Overall, this place has a lot of room for improvement if they want visitors to have a decent experience and, more importantly, if they want to properly care for the animals.

Interesting place with fun crocodile feeding shows to watch. There’s also a souvenir shop for keepsakes. Good for family visits. The area is fairly clean and staff are friendly, though there’s a bit of a strong smell sometimes.

It was a pleasant experience as far as zoos go. Wee got to hold a baby (2 years old) and got to see the crocodile show, which was more a demonstration of these animals fiercesome power. Then saw them getting fed which consisted of someone throwing chickens over a fence. I feel more effort could have been made to demonstrate the crocodiles skills. There were taxidermied crocs for pics and souvenirs to buy as well as a take off cross skin purses and bags.

Overall good experience. Would be great,if it will be possible to learn something about the residents of the farm. How long they are there, how often do they eat? Etc. Other animals like monkey, civet and bearcat, poor indoor design... These 3 look quite depressed :(

A Thrilling and Heartwarming visit As first-time visitors, our family had an absolutely unforgettable day at Ladang Buaya Tuaran! Right from the start, we were met with such a warm welcome, which immediately made us feel right at home. The experience kicked off on a high note, as we got the chance to have a photography session with a baby crocodile straight away—a unique and exciting moment for all of us. The park is incredibly family-oriented and considerate. We were pleasantly surprised to find out that admission is free for senior citizens (warga emas) and children under three, which is a wonderful gesture that makes the attraction accessible for the whole family. The entire setting is very kid-friendly, and I was particularly impressed with the clean and well-maintained toilets. Of course, the absolute highlight was the crocodile show! The suspense was palpable as the skilled stunt performer interacted with the massive crocodiles. Watching him bravely kiss and pose with one of the giants was a breathtaking spectacle that had us all on the edge of our seats. Beyond the thrilling main event, there are plenty of other attractions to enjoy. We loved watching the majestic arapaima and colourful koi fish swimming in their ponds, and the kids were delighted by the cute rabbits. It’s clear that this isn't just a crocodile farm but a well-rounded animal park. We had a fantastic time and are already planning our next visit. I'm especially looking forward to checking out the leather products in their shop. Highly recommended for a fun, clean, and exciting day out for all ages!

Used to be a popular spot at Tuaran, now it's closed for renovations. However there's restaurant fully operating here if you want to hang out here.

Went for a family outing. Not staying though and can't give a good review on the room conditions. Great place to have fun with your kids. Must go to the mangrove and experience the traditional style house, colouring on batik and also the complimentary coconut juice is very sweet.

Last time I went here during 2017 it was a nice place, very cheap entrance fee and very colorful, filled with visitors. Now, I was very dissatisfied and disappointed with the entrance fee being darn expensive even for locals. RM45/pax for adults, RM35/pax for kids. WHAT?! MOST OF THE AREA LACK OF MAINTENANCE AND YOU WERE WELCOME WITH POTHOLES AND BROKEN SIGNAGE. Barely seen any horses wandering around just like a few years ago which is very happening and I still enjoyed that year. No wonder why this place is getting forgotten and barely has any visitors these days.

Need to pay for RM10 per adult, RM5 for children even though to the loo. Worth the price if you are enjoying horse riding, archery and a walk to the small designated mangrove area. There's restaurant available, bridge at the mangrove area too.

Use to be a good place to spend time with family. They had activities like horse riding (RM15 per round), rabbit feeding (RM2 for pellet food or kangkung. Now they have changed their rates to RM45 entry fee for adults and RM35 for children and even more for foreigners. This includes access to horse riding, mangrove swamp,horse viewing and access to feeding rabbits. U still need to pay for the rabbit food though at rm2 per bunch. This is bad for those who just want to do one activity. At the time of visit there wasn't any water available in the toilets or sink. However the restaurant was still running which makes me question the cleanliness if there isn't any water supply. This place is not recommended unless your really into the horse riding part of the activity.

You can get yourself immerse in nature here especially in this very own mangrove park. Horses are beautiful and you can ride them at request. There's a cafe here to grab some food while enjoying the breathtaking scenery. Good spot to bring your families for holiday.

Nice place to hangout with family. Petting and riding horses are allowed. Rm10 per pax for adults, free for children 5 yrs and below. Ticket allows free roam of horse stable, bar and grill and the mangrove marsh area plus 1 welcome drink (iced tea) per person. Horse and carriage ride, dining at the bar & grill or the mangrove restaurant comes with extra charge. Decently priced for the whole experience.

Come early to get fresh seafood. Get fresh fish. But be mindful to choose your fish, if you let them, you will get the not-so-fresh kind, underneath the fresh ones. I'm talking based on my many experiences coming here.

Lunch recently at the home of Mee Tuaran in Sabah. They have all sorts of fried noodles here. If you are looking for the signature style of Mee Tuaran with rice wine, you need to ask for “tambah Lihing”. Lihing is a type of Sabahan rice wine made from "pulut", a glutinous rice, and is a traditional rice wine for the Kadazan-Dusun people. The roast pork noodles was excellent. The seafood noodles used a fish meat that tasted like chicken! Not sure what fish it was. Perhaps some tuna. Unsure.

Tuaran mee is good but the amount of meat is very little. Service is quite slow & you need to go to the counter to place your order & make payment (different then after Tuaran mee restaurants nearby)

Sabah Part 4 We were supposed to meet another couple who flew in late at Tuaran. So when we got to the town, the first thing we did was to look for Tuaran Mee. With no reference whatsoever, we looked for the oldest looking shop - almost all shops looked old 😅 so we settled for the one aptly named with the famous dish from this town. Price varies depending on what ingredients you order for the Mee - one has option for biasa, saunyuk (roast pork), seafood, daging, saunyuk campur, daging kering campur and kosong. ◾Mee Goreng is a must-order! The homemade noodle packed with wok hei although not much presentation. ◾Kon Lau Mee - basically noodle with concoction of dark sauce and topped with ingredients. Options for those who don't like their noodle dry. Their fried noodle was definitely star of the show. They do have another branch in Inanam for those who don't feel like traveling far. We also bought durian from a stall next door but the flavour didn't come close to West Malaysia's.

Overall, the food that we ordered was ok. Portions are quite big.

Not to be missed! Absolutely loved the Tuaran mee with lihing. We even ordered seconds and thirds. Very flavourful, umami and egg noodles were handmade.

They said it's the best Tuaran Mee in town. The noodle itself is already nice without any condiments, it has a chewy texture as seems it used an egg in the noodle dough. During eat it we also can taste a strong the egg flavour in every time we chew. On top of that it very tasty as well. Must Try !!

Humbled by this 40-year-old coffee shop selling authentic Tuaran Mee. A special to Tuaran district noodle made of flour and egg distinct to its character to be soft when cooked. Reminiscing the younger time as a kid coming here with my family on a 40mis journey from Kota Kinabalu just to eat at this shop. The fried noodle hasn't lost its touch, and the food is still the same as how i would remember. It's probably even tastier! A must try 1. Mee goreng tuaran daging kerbau (buffalo beef) 2. This place has received some of the worst complaints i have ever read, but contratry to my visit, i find the service is quick and super friendly staff especially the one at the counter. Maybe cleanliness isn't their best thing to highlight, though i did see them cleaning, I'm skeptic about them However do beware of the younger waitress w long hair and has no smile, i guess it's just one of her bad day.. Anyway, this is my first time of having Tuaran Mee (usually I only see people posted it w pork), and i have it with chicken cutlet and glass of Sirap Oren (Orange Cordial) for RM9.90 overall. I am not a big fan of yolk and when my plate came, i checked the Tuaran mee thoroughly, i only notice the white egg fried together with the Tuaran mee. Tuaran Mee is quite stringy and it absorbs the sauces that cooked along with it, so it super juicy. This goes well with the fried chicken cutlet. I think i had great time sitting at the best spot that day, having a view that summarized little Tuaran township. There were few uncles and aunties around the restaurant, wasn't crowded but very relaxing area. Btw, they also have bar upstairs that serve beers and playing darts, hope there'll be more places like this for Tuaran. And they also serve lok lok, where you can pick your desired frozen food like fish balls, cuttlefish to be cooked braised, fried etc.

A reasonable restaurant, has many choices in term of food variety. Nice design with good food. Cleanliness is not the main stay or priority of the shop, which can be visualised when I was there. To be fair it was public holiday. Quality of food 3 star Cleanliness 2 star Overall 3 star

Overall, this restaurant offers a very inconsistent experience. Counter service at ground floor is incompetent, often making mistakes with taking orders despite customers repeating the orders. Food preparation is also inconsistent; for instance, when I ordered sweet and sour chicken rice, they instead served roasted chicken (found in a typical "nasi ayam") doused with sauce and tasted bland. This after I visited the restaurant prior, and was served the fried crispy chicken version. The food served at the upper level does not deserve the hefty price. Its spaghetti bolognese is actually ketchup instead of tomato puree. Meat are often tough to the bite. The only reason I visited the restaurant for a few months was because it was one of only a handful of restaurants in Tuaran that opens after 9.00 pm. I have stopped going to this place in favour of another restaurant that opened close by till late night.

There's a waiters or casher sat on the counter while we walk in unto level 2 to get the nice view, once we entered there her face is my main view, very arrogant liked she own the place. My man asked if he allowed to vape on the outside, she saw us the turned quickly then said sure, she gave us the menu book, 10mins later i passed her a piece of paper as our optional food, 20 mins later our food ready to served but then i realised my fiance said his order was not accurate, then i went straightly to her at counter unfortunately she said im wrongly wrote the code of menu then i asked her to show me back the paper but then she said already threw it, my heart pounds in millions.. Im confident said nevertheless for me to wrote wrongly coz im asked my man to repeated twice for the code!! She never appologise or either admitted that was her mistake, my man said thats ok he will took that food due to starving, i went to our table and she said back off me U CAN ORDER BACK IF U WANT IT, im directly turn and asked her to repeat than her voice tone slowly, a worker liked her need a specialised course on how to treat customer..

This is my worst experience with food ever. Sorry to say. The service is slow even when the were the only customer there. The cashier unfriendly and lazy. The food is not that good and too salty. I’ll never come to this place again.

One of the worst places to have something to eat...I came here with family for dinner...the highlight of the dinner was the Chinese tea...packed the leftovers for my dog...hope she doesn't get food poisoning...Please stay away from this place..

Some of the food is okay, such as nestum chicken, Sabah vege with eggs and shark fin soup. However, the sweet and sour fish tasted horrible, the fishy smell was too much, and I could see the red dye on the fish. The excessive red colour of the fish makes its look not appetizing. In my opinion, the drinks are quite affordable at RM 5 in a huge cup. Lastly, the fruit rojak there tastes good, way better than in JB, RM 10, the price is quite standard.

We dropped by for a quick lunch after visiting the croc farm opposite. Food was tasty and very affordable. But not a place you want to use the restroom.

The food is terrible. The tempura squid was undercooked and tasteless, the corn soup was too thick and had no corn flavour, just some tick water with salt, only the deer meat was ok. Very disappointed.

Their food is a travesty. Do not order anything with batter (tepung), they excessively coat our squid and kangkung with it, and it's not even cooked thoroughly. Their fish was fresh but wasted in their horrendous. And the nail in the coffin, they charge us an obscene amount food that shouldn't be food.

Previous year I remember this is best place for our family having our meal there before enter rasa ria, when we stayed at rasa ria but yesterday we ate there kinda frustrated because the cat poops smell kinda strong and seriously not comfortable, the cat all lingering at leg with smell 😞😞 I like cat but not at the restaurant that we are having our meal. I hope our next visit will be an improvement.

Reasonable value for money. Simple open air restaurant with some seafood dishes on its menu. Does NOT serve pork. Pricing is reasonable and food taste quite good. Make sure you try the Kampung Fried Rice which is delicious. Overall a simple restaurant with fair value for food. Worth trying if your in that area. Directly opposite Tuaran Crocodile Farm.

I loved the sunset , The place also very aesthetic loved it but sadly one time we went out for a trip there with my fam , it's all a sudden blackout... But the electric got fixed Around 7pm sum thank goodness

Never really done much review, but this time I had to do a review due to my dining experience yesterday. We came in 20 pax, the food came in upon requested. However, in terms of the quality of food, it was so bad, we barely finished it. Rice was undercooked, the other 10 pax had to request on changing the big bowl of rice, our remaining 10 pax did not even finished the rice provided. As a place that takes pride on 'seafood' and 'a hotspot fishing platform', we expect to be provided good quality seafood but the prawns were not even fresh (as it was dry and not juicy) despite it being a wet butter prawn -- the butter could not even compensate the taste of the dry prawns. We order fried squid, to my surprise it was soo dry, felt like I was eating pebbles. I think it was sweet and sour fish, it was fried soooo dry, luckily the sauce was enough to cover the dryness of the fish. I asked all of the other 19 pax, all commented no how the food did not taste great. Corn soup was nice and the sayur kangkung was mediocre hence for the 1 star. Overall, for the price, as I saw in the catalog was RM3xx, for 8 pax, which we order double of, it was edible but it tasted so ***BAD*** and not worth what we were paying. (could not provide any pictures of the food because it was so bad it wasn't even Insta worth to be posted) Points for this restaurant, atmosphere was good, the view was AMAZING, place was decorated pretty nice, and it was clean. We appreciate the A/C dining area provided. Customer service was also good. I praise the people working there for trying to provide a warm environment for us to dine and are willing to entertain to our nonsense song requests whilst providing us the opportunity to sing live on their TikTok profile. It was a mixed review for me. I just hope that this restaurant could improve on their food (taste and quality wise) and hopefully, we could revisit this place to dine and spread good word to friends as your future customers.

Underrated, little spot by the river bank. Overlooks the bridge. Calming, peaceful views. The food is well made. Delicious, well seasoned and flavourful. Staff are attentive and efficient. Could do with a bit more variety of seafood but current setup is adequate for an enjoyable meal. Pricing is reasonable and way better than the tourist trap you would find at the market downtown KK.

We came for lunch on a weekday so there were no customers other than us. Our orders took about 30-40 minutes to be prepared. The siakap tiga rasa (sea bass cooked in sweet, sour and spicy sauce aka “3-taste”) was quite good; my only issue with the dish was the price - MYR137 for two small-sized siakap (see photo) which was probably one of the most expensive siakap 3-rasa I have ever paid! The last time I paid that much for the same dish (large sized fish) was at Chef Wan’s restaurant in Kuala Lumpur 😆 I’m not sure if this was because we came from Semenanjung, thus we’re considered “outsiders”, or what. But yes, the siakap was too expensive. The rest of the dishes was good and priced okay - medium sized butter prawns for about MYR40, squid fried in batter (sotong goreng tepung) medium sized for MYR40, etc. That’s why I decided to give 3 ⭐️ for this restaurant, because of the siakap price. The place is about 30-40 minutes drive from Kota Kinabalu city centre, nice view of the river and the mangrove forest etc. Unfortunately the issue with the siakap price just killed the whole vibe of the place. Sad.

Food were generally alright. We ordered for lunch a family set menu for 8 pax complete with rice, soup, fish, prawn, squid, vegetable and drinks. The portion was super generous that I had to take away and gave it to our tour guides. Unfortunately the crab meat corn soup had no taste at all. Service was not very helpful everything was self-service (especially for first time customer to the restaurant). Atmosphere was alright can be better taking into consideration some renovation works were going on at that time. Because of the soup and the service at that time I gave overall 3 stars.

I visited this place two years ago and absolutely loved it — the food was amazing, the ambiance charming, and the experience of choosing fresh seafood made it extra special. Unfortunately, this time around it felt quite different. The place looks a bit run down, and we could no longer choose our own seafood — everything had to be ordered from the menu. One big letdown was that they no longer serve lala, which used to be a favourite and tasted so good before. The overall taste and experience just didn’t match what it used to be. Really hope they can bring back the quality and charm they once had. Came all the way from KL feeling disappointed this time around ☹️

I went to Abadi Seafood Restaurant with my kids for a fishing trip, but I was very disappointed with the condition of the place. The fishing platform and jetty were in poor and unsafe condition, very risky, especially if you’re bringing children. There were loose planks, uneven surfaces, and no proper safety measures in place. It didn’t feel maintained at all. I only stayed because my kids were too excited to fish, but honestly, I was worried the whole time about their safety. To make things worse, they charged me RM40, even though only I and my two kids were fishing. My wife was just accompanying us and didn’t fish, but they still included her in the charge, which felt unfair. If you’re planning to come here for fishing with family, especially with young kids, I would not recommend it. The place seriously needs maintenance and better customer treatment.
