Queens Park is a beloved 45-acre public park in Crewe, offering a serene environment with lush green spaces, landscaped gardens, and an ornamental lake. The park features various amenities such as a play area for children, outdoor gym, boating during summer weekends and holidays, toilets including facilities for disabled and baby changing, boules and crown green bowling areas. Visitors can also enjoy the refurbished lodges, bandstand events throughout the year and a cafe.
Beautiful park. The garden is really amazing, it has many varieties of flowers and trees. The lake in Burma Island is excellent. Cafe is nice. There is enough parking space - free Street parking. It is a dog friendly park.

Queens Park is a staple of Crewe. Sometimes life can be a lot and a walk in the park for some fresh air is what you need. It is always refreshing to go for a stroll, maybe pick up a quick drink and feed the ducks every now and then. The paths are also thoughtfully places as to not disturb the animals, but still give enough routes for those who enjoy a workout. St George's playing fields also links up to the park on its further end, where you can play football with the nets and make for a good cycle route. The flowers and nature really are beautiful as seen in some photos I've taken.
Alexander K — Google review
This is our favourite place on a Sunday morning. We travel from Nantwich, run one lap around the park, then use the calisthenics equipment, lastly we watch our daughter on the massive play area. Some days we'll sit and watch the ducks on the lake or have a coffee at the park cafe.

Amazing place to be in summers. Went for picnic in the park event and It was great experience.

A beautiful respite if you need a break from the world. Fresh air. Quiet. And everyone was very friendly and greeted me on my way through.

I enjoyed the park but we mainly went there for the swan boats which no longer exist there. Thats a shame because it was a great asset to the park. Please bring them back

Lovely park, loads of wildlife, people I've met have been friendly. One area of Crewe that's been kept well and not spoilt. Love feeding the birds, squirrels. Beautiful trees too.

Shopping
The Market Shopping Centre in Crewe is a community hub that attracts around 100,000 visitors from Crewe and Cheshire. It features a variety of top value retailers like Wilko, B&M, Argos, as well as popular high street names such as Clarks, Superdrug, and River Island. The vintage vibe of the mall provides a pleasant venue for shopping and leisurely walks.
Went into Peacocks to get clothes for my Dad (who is in a care home). Their men's clothing range was very reasonably priced & I found all the long sleeved t shirts and jumpers he needed. The staff there were very helpful and I even received NHS discount.

Several empty units, as is often the case in many town centres. Just feels like this is particularly badly hit. Shame, really, as what IS there is pretty good.
Peter E — Google review
Car parking for the theatre at Crewe is behind this building so you need to walk through or around it. How odd I haven't been asked to review the theatre where I watched a show for two hours but was asked to review a building I didn't even enter.
Jayne L — Google review
Very little shops in Winsford Centre since B& M built. Too big for small town at cost of other smaller shops. Ghostntown now. Such a shame after all the years of promises of variety & improvements after rhe 1960 's shops were collapsing after they were in bad state if repair. New B& M i found expensive for alot of items. Monistrosity
Emily R — Google review
This place is absolutely mismanaged. Lots of potential but little investment. There are a couple of good coffee places, but nothing too exciting.
W T — Google review
There are a number of empty units and the place is not as busy as it once was, but the current available shops there, are good value for money and offer very affordable clothes and household items .

The Lyceum Theatre is a historic venue located in the center of town, offering a variety of entertainment including drama, musicals, comedy, and pantomime. Originally a Roman Catholic church built for the Irish railway workers in the 19th century, it was later rebuilt as a theater after being destroyed by fire in 1910. With seating for 1,250 people, this Edwardian theatre has retained its unique charm and elegance over its more than hundred-year history.
Fantastic !! I've not been to a panto in 20-odd years and took my daughter. Really interactive for adults and it was entertaining throughout! So good. Thank you to the entertainers. Beauty and the beast was outstanding.

A beautiful theatre. Very good atmosphere. Watched Showaddywaddy. They were brilliant. Liked it as close to the stage wherever you sat. Would definitely recommend. Only downfall is parking but was definitely worth going. Xx

Such a beautiful building. The show was excellent and hours of rehearsals had been put into the dances and singing. Was with a wheelchair user and staff were very helpful. Highly recommend!

Myself and my Dad, have had a lovely evening at Crewe Lyceum. The staff at the theatre were fantastic and lovely, they passed on a card I had for Ardal as it was his birthday last week. Thank you to the staff for passing on the card. We came to see Ardal O’Hanlon Not Himself tour. The warm up act Marjolein Robertson was brilliant. It was lovely to see the amazing Ardal O'Hanlon, the show was fantastic. I’m looking forward to visiting again this Friday (17/10/25) to see Russell Watson and my Dad & myself are looking forward to our return visit to Crewe Lyceum in January (30/01/26) when Chris McCausland returns with his tour Yonks.

What a great night out at Crewe Lyceum Theatre, very reasonably priced tickets for Ardal O'Hanlon, Not himself Comedy stand up show that is currently touring around the UK. The Lyceum Theatre was lit up in all its glory, as we entered our tickets were scanned and we went to the downstairs bar for a pre show drink. Little high in price as a pint is £7, They do run a pre show meal so it might be worth looking into that, other alternative check out HUNGS noodle bar you can sit in and have a really nice meal for £10. 15 mins before curtain up we went through to find our seats we were towards the back in the details but being a small theatre the view was very good. Show was around two hous thirty minutes with a interval. Was a such a good show we were laughing from start to finish. Big thankyou to the 2 ladies that welcomed us warmly at the entrance also the friendly bar staff. We parked at Browning Street car park and walked 400 to 500 meters down to the thearte as this was the free option paid parking in the town centre and Thomas Street or there's is Asda. All in all a great night out at the Lyceum which we will be returning to in the very near future.

Took the grandkids to see beauty and the Beast the pantomime. It was excellent and very well presented, the 12 days of Christmas song was great and very entertaining the kids loved it, audience participation was brilliant and everyone came out smiling ! Only one small complaint would be the popcorn which was stale !

Had a fun packed evening in a fabulous looking building. Staff were really helpful and efficient. Nice licensed bar for refreshments before the show and we were able to pre-order the drinks for the intermission. Performance was great and very funny. We were sat upstairs in the stalls and it was really cramped - this was the only downside of an enjoyable evening.

Crewe Market Hall

Market
Crewe Market Hall has recently undergone a transformation, welcoming new independent shops, street food outlets, and a growing arts scene. The town is also experiencing a real ale revolution, leading to a resurgence in local pubs and bars. The market hall itself exudes a charming borough market aesthetic and hosts various eateries serving delectable soul food and coffee. Visitors can enjoy options like Mini Beans Coffee's smooth and flavorful beverages or indulge in Italian flavors at Jordys Pizza.
Had a lovely day of trying out different cuisine at Crewe Market Hall. Started with a Full English at Mels Kitchen...Hot and delicious 5 Stars. Went off to do some shopping and DIY pick ups/appointments. Went back for a Cheese Grazing plate at Baileys 4 Stars...some of the cheese had gone a little bit dry but it was enough on a plate and the Camembert plate was delicious we were quite stuffed by this point. Wine was lovley. Just to make it a full house we ordered dishes of chicken/ beef Noodles and rice for tomorrow night's tea at Noodle Gurus and omg it didn't disappoint so 5 Stars. It's good to support local hard working artisan cookery.
MARCIA C — Google review
Crewe Market Hall is similar to BOXPARK, offering a vibrant mix of shops and eateries to make your day enjoyable. From coffee shops to Pizza Hut, you'll find everything you need. The hall provides ample seating, including work desks, though finding power outlets for your laptop can be a bit challenging if you plan to work there. Keep in mind that closing times on Mondays and Tuesdays are shorter. Parking can also be a hassle, as spaces are limited.
Labuddy A — Google review
The arrangement of the hall is beautiful… it brings back old memories from home town anytime I visit there and guys you need to try out the granny pho and ramen meals
Richard M — Google review
Lovely food & amenities. So far, I have had a burger from Burgers & Chill which was excellent. I have also had Pho from the Vietnamese place. It was tasty & filling. I think I’ll try a pizza next. The coffee is lovely & my husband said the beer is super. He had a breakfast bap yesterday, and he was very pleased with it.
Susan H — Google review
Good food. Nice atmosphere. All the shops have polite staff and quick service times. Me and my family regularly go out for lunch and end up here.
Phoebe C — Google review
The market hall has a range of eateries, nothing outstanding the usual street food:- pizza, Thai etc. There are coffee and cake shops plus a bar selling craft beers at ridiculous prices: £3.50 per 1/2 pint. I thought it a well done venue but it has a rather large problem….acoustics, it’s a large space with zero ability to soften the acoustics BUT made much worse, on the Thursday evening I visited there was a DJ and the music was really LOUD! There was no escape from the club music being played as there are speakers all along one wall, this completely destroyed the ability to talk, you could shout at your partner however. The ambience was that of being in a night club but with no one dancing. If I didn’t know better I could’ve sworn morrissey had visited at some point and written the song “hang the Dj” as that is what I felt like! Couldn’t wait to leave, which is what we did as soon we’d drunk our coffee’s……served in paper cups…yuk!
Davz E — Google review
Really done a nice job with the refurbishment here, the old Market Hall looks good with it's new roll for a place to chat drink and eat while doing a bit of shopping. It's got a nice relaxed feel to the place and is a pleasant atmosphere to drink your coffee. Saving old buildings like this, by giving them a role that they can still fit in with today's lifestyle is great and looks like here they have found the right balance. The food and drink vendors here seem to be charging top end prices for their goods, matching the prices of the well established chain's, which is a bit of a shame and maybe a sign of the times. But on a bonus, there is a very good variety of choice.
Marc G — Google review
Seemed a great place just shuts really early 8.30pm manged to grab a burger a beer before they did, if you want dessert too make sure you buy it before they close if arriving later on Great choice of beers at reasonable prices, burger was OK but not the greatest, send for a chicken burger and found it to be small and thin so felt it was a little over priced. There's a great ordering system with a qr code and all menus come up for easy ordering. There was a great buzz about the place and I recommend going.

A five minute walk from the train station very close access by all modes of transportation the ground looks very modern plus the club shop very spacious the area around looked very clean also the female staff member was very helpful.
Jamie B — Google review
A really upsetting result losing 3-2 in the last couple of minutes! But overall we did have a good day out, we watched a very exciting game of football! Also the staff were really nice in the club shop too! 👏 It is still such a shame that clubs have stopped doing programmes because of the Internet! It is a key part of football and should be carried on for years! Anyway hopefully next time we take home the 3 points! 🔵⚪️
Charlie B — Google review
Came here a few weeks ago in pre-season and lots of parking options. Be it at the ground or around the area. I must say it was probably the quickest and easiest ground I've ever got to and left with no traffic. Situated perfectly next to the train station, easy to get to. Once inside the ground if your the away fans then not massive amount of choice for food/drink but enough. Great seats I must say and Crewe really have a decent ground for league 2. Staff and stewards all actually helpful. Only real negative is the car parking machines at the ground were cash only or pay via an app.
Ryan W — Google review
A great ground which has huge potential to be a bigger club. I really enjoyed the friendly nature of the fans, Despite the football not being the greatest and it was a nice 2-0 win for Crewe v Notts county

We had a fantastic tour when our children were mascots last week. They also got the chance to practice on the pitch which was just brilliant. I can't thank the tour guides we had enough....they truly added that special touch to what was a great day.
Rachel H — Google review
Moderate away day experience, weird ground, 3 old school stands with one huge stand for home fans. The view is quite obscured, which can only be described as a railway pillar considering they're a railway town. Poor food/drink options. Another one checked off the list though!

Visited this place for breakfast. It was the worst I've ever had!! Ordered a full english breakfast and new to the menu and the most expensive dish, stacked pancakes with maple syrup and bacon. Sounds nice right? They were clearly old, the woman working there thought they didn't have any and then found some after a good few minutes rummaging through the fridge/freezer that was located on the main cafe floor. I was shocked for what I was served. 3 dry warmed pancakes. One of them was burnt so placed at the bottom of the stack thinking I wouldn't notice. 3 thick rashes of backed bacon not the expected streaky for this kind of dish. Then rather than serving maple syrup as advertised i was given treacle!! It was awful. The full English breakfast appeared to look nice but the sausage was the worst my husband said he'd ever tasted. He said they were really cheap and he couldn't eat them. The bacon was also really fatty and just okay. The coffee was really nice. I would not recommend nor would I return

"Passage to India" in Crewe is a delightful Indian restaurant that captures the essence of authentic cuisine. Known for its generous portions and impeccable service, this eatery offers a menu filled with mouthwatering dishes that are sure to tantalize your taste buds. Guests can indulge in refreshing mango lassi served in large jugs, perfect for sharing. The experience is further enhanced by thoughtful touches like warm towels and delectable chocolate mint wafers at the end of your meal.
On the way to unload into our b and b in Crewe a bloke mentioned to us the Indian restaurant at the back was good , little did we know it was his ! Looks posh and expensive from outside. Good area to sit for takeaway nice no rush atmosphere from the front desk . Manager helped with few suggestions cus mum didn’t know what to eat . Ordered three dishes two nan bread rice and onion bargee. More than enough for four of us . Very tasty dad also enjoyed it . Vegetables dish was best . Lovely Nan breads one normal one cheese. New to here so asked customer inside restaurant was this place any good and he said best in town and has been around for thirty years .free popadoms and sauce but no chutney and also no napkins in takeaway bag , could of given free half pint while I was waiting too cus thirsty work waiting twenty minutes for ya meal , but let them off seeing it was top notch. But just those suggestions so the place could be six stars instead of only five

The hospitality is absolute garbage, the management has to change. The food I received had a tiny piece of concrete, which I believe isn’t edible in any part of this world. When we confronted the manager, they tried to pretend that it was nothing it’s normal from a tandoor. I don’t know if this is normal in this restaurant. The food and safety from council shall have to have to review this restaurant.

Table for 1 on a Thursday - but the service was excellent. Food was fantastic too, one of the best Indian restaurants I have eaten at. Food tasted fresh and well prepared, presented amazingly. Spice levels in the menu were accurate too. Staff working here all seemed happy and recommended dishes that I haven't heard of and could describe them very well. Drink selection good too and draught cobra tasted good and matched well with food. Glancing into the kitchen and was refreshing to see a clean kitchen with organised sections too. If I'm ever back in the area I will be going back here!

Had a takeaway from passage to India last night. I’ve wanted to go to for years so because it was my Birthday we ordered. I would like to thank the gentleman who went out of his way to make me mango 🥭 lassi’s for my Birthday (because not many restaurants do them around here) so much arrived I can only eat small amounts atm due to illness so eyes are bigger than my belly but what I could eat it was lovely, the Saag Aloo was one of the best I’ve tasted. Just a quiet 🤫 night in.. in a food coma 🤭 Can’t wait to actually come to the restaurant.

Generous portions, impeccable service, delicious food. Imagine a JUG of mango lassi for 2! Leftover to go, warm towels and scrumptious chocolate mint wafers to seal the meal.

Can I just say this was a great meal, very tasty, served quickly and exact the right intensity. But also the staff were most friendly particularly one young waiter. My friend Matt is doing a charity bike ride from Lands End to John O Grotesque on his own, this was day 5. The Restaurant were gracious enough to sponsor him on his Just Giving page. Thank you so much. I highly recommend this great establishment.

Lovely food. I had my usual lamb vindaloo. The meat was tender with no fat and both the smell and taste were exceptional. The service lacked any energy and it felt like they were going through the motions. Diet coke must have been out of a bottle opened last week as it was flat.

During my recent visit to the Four Eagles pub, I was truly impressed by the warm atmosphere and delightful food offerings. The menu boasts a variety of dishes that cater to all tastes, with desserts that are simply irresistible. What stood out most was the exceptional service provided by manager Kim, who went above and beyond to ensure a pleasant experience for families. On Mother's Day, she took time from her busy schedule to engage with a little one struggling with his high chair, showcasing her patience and kindness.
We were greeted by very friendly staff Found us a quiet table. Food was delicious and vegan guests were very pleased with the quality of food. Lovely play area for children out back with plenty of space. Drink are reasonably priced too. I must give extra recommendations for the HUGE ice cream sundaes We were all amazed by how much we got for the price. 5*

Good experience at the Four Eagles. I was impressed how clean the pub was. My usual hungry horse has filthy carpets but this one is in good condition. The breakfast was good and arrived in a timely manner. The coffee was not refillable like my usual place but everything tasted good. 3 breakfast with 3 coffees for under £20 is good value during these difficult times. I love the little over 18 bar area. Ample parking at the back made visiting easy.

Her service was top-notch, friendly, professional, and perfectly timed. Molly went above and beyond to make sure everything was just right. We’ll definitely be back, and we hope to be served by her again!

Me and my partner came for breakfast a few days ago and didn’t have a great experience, we waited 30 minutes for two cold breakfast with extremely fatty bacon and undercooked eggs. We didn’t even eat in the end and we didn’t get checked back. Definitely will not be returning to recommending this place to anyone

We had a meal there for our daughters birthday, food was lovely, and when server Molly brought dessert out, it had a lovely little candle in, very nice touch, Thankyou! And to Molly and Josh for your friendly service :-)

Started coming here recently and it has shown better service than most establishments in the area. The staff are polite, easy to talk to and eager to help while always having a smile on their face, especially the newer manager named junior who has been above and beyond with his work. The food is exeptional and the service time was impeccable. If your looking for a nice place to grab a drink or have a meal i would highly recommend this place as it has gone above and beyond time and time again.
