Fantastic !! I've not been to a panto in 20-odd years and took my daughter. Really interactive for adults and it was entertaining throughout! So good. Thank you to the entertainers. Beauty and the beast was outstanding.
A beautiful theatre. Very good atmosphere. Watched Showaddywaddy. They were brilliant. Liked it as close to the stage wherever you sat. Would definitely recommend. Only downfall is parking but was definitely worth going. Xx
Such a beautiful building. The show was excellent and hours of rehearsals had been put into the dances and singing. Was with a wheelchair user and staff were very helpful. Highly recommend!
Myself and my Dad, have had a lovely evening at Crewe Lyceum. The staff at the theatre were fantastic and lovely, they passed on a card I had for Ardal as it was his birthday last week. Thank you to the staff for passing on the card. We came to see Ardal O’Hanlon Not Himself tour. The warm up act Marjolein Robertson was brilliant. It was lovely to see the amazing Ardal O'Hanlon, the show was fantastic. I’m looking forward to visiting again this Friday (17/10/25) to see Russell Watson and my Dad & myself are looking forward to our return visit to Crewe Lyceum in January (30/01/26) when Chris McCausland returns with his tour Yonks.
What a great night out at Crewe Lyceum Theatre, very reasonably priced tickets for Ardal O'Hanlon, Not himself Comedy stand up show that is currently touring around the UK. The Lyceum Theatre was lit up in all its glory, as we entered our tickets were scanned and we went to the downstairs bar for a pre show drink. Little high in price as a pint is £7, They do run a pre show meal so it might be worth looking into that, other alternative check out HUNGS noodle bar you can sit in and have a really nice meal for £10. 15 mins before curtain up we went through to find our seats we were towards the back in the details but being a small theatre the view was very good. Show was around two hous thirty minutes with a interval. Was a such a good show we were laughing from start to finish. Big thankyou to the 2 ladies that welcomed us warmly at the entrance also the friendly bar staff. We parked at Browning Street car park and walked 400 to 500 meters down to the thearte as this was the free option paid parking in the town centre and Thomas Street or there's is Asda. All in all a great night out at the Lyceum which we will be returning to in the very near future.
Great theatre and The Utimate Classic Rock Show one of the best we have seen . Great might
I went to the Jack Dee show and sat in the circle for the first time. Unfortunately, I could barely fit into the seat as there was not enough leg room, something that had not been a problem in the stalls. I approached one of the staff, a young blonde lady. She immediately called the manager, who arranged alternative seating for me and my two friends. No fuss, no trouble, just perfect courtesy and consideration. They helped make the evening even more special. Thank you.
First time visiting this theatre last night. Nice little Theatre, only complaint is the seats are quite small, and not much leg room, so a bit of a struggle if you're tall. We were in the Gallery and still had a decent view of the stage. I would attend this Theatre again though.

Beautiful park. The garden is really amazing, it has many varieties of flowers and trees. The lake in Burma Island is excellent. Cafe is nice. There is enough parking space - free Street parking. It is a dog friendly park.
Queens Park is a staple of Crewe. Sometimes life can be a lot and a walk in the park for some fresh air is what you need. It is always refreshing to go for a stroll, maybe pick up a quick drink and feed the ducks every now and then. The paths are also thoughtfully places as to not disturb the animals, but still give enough routes for those who enjoy a workout. St George's playing fields also links up to the park on its further end, where you can play football with the nets and make for a good cycle route. The flowers and nature really are beautiful as seen in some photos I've taken.
This is our favourite place on a Sunday morning. We travel from Nantwich, run one lap around the park, then use the calisthenics equipment, lastly we watch our daughter on the massive play area. Some days we'll sit and watch the ducks on the lake or have a coffee at the park cafe.
Amazing place to be in summers. Went for picnic in the park event and It was great experience.
A beautiful respite if you need a break from the world. Fresh air. Quiet. And everyone was very friendly and greeted me on my way through.
I enjoyed the park but we mainly went there for the swan boats which no longer exist there. Thats a shame because it was a great asset to the park. Please bring them back
Lovely park, loads of wildlife, people I've met have been friendly. One area of Crewe that's been kept well and not spoilt. Love feeding the birds, squirrels. Beautiful trees too.
Free parking available, close to the playground, Queen’s park is a really good example of a large well design, well landscaped and attractive victorian park. Partly refurbished a couple of years ago, it’s lovely to walk around and a stop off in the centrally located coffee shop and cafe which overlooks the lake. In the summer it’s great for picnics and to take paddle boats out on the lake. In winter there’s the magnificent firework display that shouldn’t be missed!

This was a fascinating museum to visit, showing many different types of trains! The intercity is open to walk across and see the red plus blue seating, alongside the refreshments cabin and even the cab can be wandered around. Signalling equipment is displayed extensively across both a large room upstairs and a signal box, signal points map is shown too. Model railways are admirable in how well they have been crafted, shelter has information about trains shown and the mini railway was a good shout even!
My father and I came to the Crewe Heritage Centre last weekend for my birthday. We had a fantastic day out! This place does a tremendous job celebrating and honouring Crewe’s history and contributions to railways, with a great range of engines & coaches to look at, the signal boxes are terrific to look around, there are some fantastic model railway layouts and a great miniature railway to ride on. There’s plenty of activities for children, and some craft workshops to partake in as well. The gift shop has a good range of books and souvenirs to purchase, there’s a good canteen to purchase food and drink from and there are benches outside on the grounds to sit down and enjoy a picnic. The observation deck is brilliant as well, allowing people to watch trains go through Crewe Station. Overall, Crewe Heritage Centre offers lots of stuff for visitors to enjoy and provides a great day out for families. Big thanks to all the volunteers who shared so many interesting stories, facts about the railways and Crewe’s importance to the railway effort. Really had a great day and will gladly come back again!
Excellent place with some great exhibits and enthusiastic volunteers. Loved being able to walk through the APT-P, sitting in first and second class, the cab, and viewing the buffet, replete with manky British Rail sandwiches! Strange opening times though (weekends and bank holidays and Wednesdays in school holidays), and surprisingly few visitors. This place needs more support!
Great visit, spent about 3 hours looking around, its a small place but with loads to look at. With real train cabs, signal boxes, train interiors etc. Including the first ever british tilting train! There was a signal box which you could stand outside and look over the Crewe station junction which is a great train spotting place!
If you love memories of the British Railway Travel and Systems this is the place to go! The staff are really friendly and helpful, they have a functional signal box with amazing assistants to guide you on how to use them and learn about them. Also it's the home of the APT-P which you can get into the cab of. And also a lovely example of freightliner class 90. A must see if your passing Crewe!
An excellent museum of more recent railway trains. Go back to the 1970s and go in the APT (Advanced Passenger Train). This was the prototype of other fast modern trains (the Pendolino for example). You can sit in the driving seat of a number of fairly recent diesel and electric locomotives. Signaling is the core of railway travel and there are signal boxes of various generations to watch operate (or operate yourself). Some fine model railways compete the experience. It suits young and not so young railway enthusiasts.
An interesting day out, and a must-see stop for any rail enthusiast. It's smaller than I expected, but there's plenty to see and you can certainly spend a few hours here. The famous APT is the star attraction, but the miniature railway is great fun, and there are some brilliant model railway displays too. The rooftop viewing deck gives you some top-notch WCML trainspotting opportunities. The heritage centre could use a little more love and doubtless more money to really thrive, in this iconic spot on the railway network.
Absolutely loved our visit there. I went with my nan & my almost two year old. There was crafts and puzzles and train sets to play with as soon as you walk in. My son loved looking inside the trains. He also loved riding on the kids train with me and his Nan, I even enjoyed it a little myself hahaha. Wonderful little place, the staff are volunteers from what I gathered and it was just so nice to have such a personal experience. One of them played a ‘can you find the…’ game with my son looking at the miniature train set ups, and on the ride, they gave my son a green flag to wave when we had to go at each station. So friendly & we even got given a little green flag to bring home which he has not stopped waving about. Nothing but wonderful things to say about the place & definitely will be taking him again, he loved it. Turned into the cutest afternoon❤️ thank you volunteers you are amazing

Came for the first time today and what a lovely first experience we had. Amazed at the size of the play frame, my child was so occupied the whole time and had so much fun. The food and drink prices are good and the food that we had was lovely. We wasn't planning to eat here, but after seeing the food we had to try it! The portion sizes were bigger than expected, definitely one of the more value for money we've been all round play/food/drinks. Lots of variety on the menu, and lots of childrens meal deal options to pick from. The entry price is definitely very competitive and worth the money, I had a conversation with someone who regularly attends and they said they keep coming back due to the affordability. The play frames appeared in very good condition and clean. We both went in with our child and never saw any food/litter/excess dirt on the play frames. The parking was a little tricky and some unhappy local residents were on the street (heard them speaking to one another loudly about the inconvenience of the Funsters guests parking up). The staff were lovely and very attentive. It was nice how we were shown to a table and everything explained to us. All staff appeared happy and approachable. We will definitely be coming here more regularly as only 20 minutes away from us. My child can't wait to return, thankyou for a wonderful experience!
One of the tallest soft plays in Europe! Considering I usually leave soft plays with a headache, this was quite a relaxing atmosphere! :) The setting is delightful and the staff are so helpful. Most brilliantly, the food and drink is reasonable, I got a whole host of drinks and snacks for under a tenner- will definitely be going again. 😊
Very nice place for kids. Fun games and birthday celebrations are taken place here.
Visited for the first time in years! Couldn’t believe it was still going. Staff were amazing so helpful talked us through everything and explained all the facilities. Great customer service. Food options arnt like you would get from a wacky warehouse so bear in mind it’s a tiny kitchen with a small amount of choices.
I visited Funsters in Crewe today for the first time with my 10 year old Grandaughter and I was blown away with the size of the place it was amazing. It was clean ,the staff were lovely and very helpful, the food was fantastic and good value for money. I'm sure we will be visiting again soon.
We attended a birthday party here, and while the soft play was alright, the experience was somewhat tarnished by their policy on outside drinks. Our water bottles were taken away, which felt unnecessary - a simple reminder about the rule would have sufficed and we would have packed the bottles away. Given that food and drinks were already paid for as part of the party, this policy seemed more about squeezing extra money from customers than enforcing a genuine necessity. Forcing customers to buy bottled water, especially on a hot day, is frustrating - not only from an environmental standpoint, as I prefer to avoid plastic bottles, but also because it discouraged us from spending on other items like coffee, which has a higher profit margin. So, it’s not even good business either. Competitors simply handle this better. Ultimately, the experience left us feeling unwelcome, and I doubt we’ll be returning. Xx
Attended for a kids party. Loads to keep kids busy, great party experience and plenty of coffee for adults too. Kids definitely sleep well after a few hours at Funsters.
DIRTY PLACE - I attended Little Funsters with my toddler and 7 months old baby. To my surprise, it turned out to be a DIRTY little PLACE. The MANAGER WALKS all over the SOFT PLAY area wearing her shoes. The area is especially designed for babies to play and explore. I was so shocked and upset to see this, and I am very concerned about this place not promoting the health and well-being of babies. It made me feel very uncomfortable and unsafe, I got up straight away and left with with a refund.

Only £4 each to get in and under 2s are free, cute little farm. You can feed the animals 50p a bag of feed. Play barn with a sand pit. Little nature walk with a den, picnic areas and outdoor play area. Mini golf included in the price. There's a cafe with fresh cooked meals drinks desserts and ice cream. We'll definitely be back it's beautiful for families.
Nice little farm with play areas. Animals seem well cared for and there were a good selection of animals. Paid £4.50 for adult entrance and £1 for a bag of animal feed. Under 2s were free. Some of the climbing frames were in need of a refresh. Toilets were clean (except for a few spiders but as it I a farm think this is to be expected). Overall a good day out with little ones!
This is a fantastic place to spend the day, we loved the inside play area especially the sand pit. Lots of picnic areas, in and out of the sun. Feeding the animals was a favourite with my son. The staff are genuinely lovely people. We will visit this place often now we've found it.
A lovely little farm, especially for younger children but still plenty to do as a family, the mini golf and feeding the animals is our favourite thing to do. We come regularly and would recommend going.
Lovely little farm for young children but in need of some TLC, personally I don't feel it's worth £4 each when I've been to other farms with better facilities and no entry charge. Bag of animal food for 50p. Indoor and outdoor play areas. Crazy golf, in need of TLC. Cafe and picnic areas. Unsure about this farm as to whether I would come back unfortunately.
What a great place for everyone to enjoy, very reasonably priced family day out.. well kept farm animals , mini golf area, great children's play indoors & outdoors & a small cafe.
Super cute little park with the ability to feed the animals which my kids loved. Animals appear well cared for which is the most important thing. Small crazy golf, park and cafe. Would recommend for an hour
Absolutely brilliant. A great family half day out. Relatively cheap compared to other local farm attractions and 10x better in terms of facilities and function

Was nice to finally come in watch a game they won Crewe Alexander Vs Notts County 2-1 so must been lucky omen for them. Food was nice inside burger, and the cakes brownies they sell for charity stalls. Atmosphere great too.
A five minute walk from the train station very close access by all modes of transportation the ground looks very modern plus the club shop very spacious the area around looked very clean also the female staff member was very helpful.
A really upsetting result losing 3-2 in the last couple of minutes! But overall we did have a good day out, we watched a very exciting game of football! Also the staff were really nice in the club shop too! 👏 It is still such a shame that clubs have stopped doing programmes because of the Internet! It is a key part of football and should be carried on for years! Anyway hopefully next time we take home the 3 points! 🔵⚪️
Came here a few weeks ago in pre-season and lots of parking options. Be it at the ground or around the area. I must say it was probably the quickest and easiest ground I've ever got to and left with no traffic. Situated perfectly next to the train station, easy to get to. Once inside the ground if your the away fans then not massive amount of choice for food/drink but enough. Great seats I must say and Crewe really have a decent ground for league 2. Staff and stewards all actually helpful. Only real negative is the car parking machines at the ground were cash only or pay via an app.
Decent enough Division Two stadium. Easy to find. Plenty of pubs and shops nearby.
Nice stadium, close proximity to station, good facilities for away fans
We had a fantastic tour when our children were mascots last week. They also got the chance to practice on the pitch which was just brilliant. I can't thank the tour guides we had enough....they truly added that special touch to what was a great day.

When people think of Crewe they inevitably think of the railways or some of the more informed will think of Bentley Motors. Well you can add Offbeat Brewery to that list. A small brewery slap bang in the middle of town, it serves a fine range of beers from IPAs through to Porters. Occasionally there will be something off the beaten track to tempt your taste buds as well. Did I mention that there is also a selection of specialist gins and ciders for the non-beer drinkers? Every first Friday is a special night where you also get to hear live music, and to quote Tom Kerridge "have some right tasty food". In a word superb!
Expect a real little working micro brewing with a bar built in it and that's what you get! It's about time bars brew there own beers that they actually sell on site, and this one does, bearing in mind this was a brewery first lol. If you like gins then you can't beat this place, I think there was 40-50 gins on the other week. Great friendly staff and owner, plus they put good bands/singers on every now and then.

Great place to learn a bit about Primitive Methodism. We received a warm welcome with coffee, tea, and cookies. The guides were so friendly, showing us around the church and the collection of treasures in storage across the street.
Set in a very peaceful area. So much interesting history. Guide leaflet is very informative , and there are information points around the building. Filled with items from the period. The tea room was lovely, and the lady there today was so friendly and knowledgeable it was a pleasure for us to meet and talk with her. We will certainly visit again.
A hidden gem in the depths of rural Cheshire. It should be on everyone’s to do list. Very informative and friendly staff. The story of Primitive Methodism comes to life in the chapel and museum. Good car parking , a wonderful peace garden and a lovely cafe.
Fascinating exhibition in a lovely building with good interpretation for the non-religious. Nice tea & cake
The presence of the new Peace Garden, located behind the Store in the Carpark, is a wonderful addition to this already beautiful museum. As well as offering an interesting and comfortable day trip, it has a healthy calendar of regular events to all ages. Well worth a visit.
We stumbled across this lovely church and museum. So interesting and a very kind husband and wife were there as volunteers. I learnt a lot even though I would class myself as a methodist and have been forever. Unfortunately I don't have a church locally I can get to now. It was a lovely way to spend an hour. Really enjoyed it.
Good signposting. Friendly welcome, just the right balance of artefacts and information boards. Holiday activities for children. Tearoom with delicious homemade cakes.
Very friendly staff! Helpful. Moved the tables for a wheelchair. Activities are available for the kids.

My son, Nicholas took swimming lessons with Katherine at Level 2, and we couldn’t have asked for a better instructor. She was kind, patient, and always made him feel safe and motivated in the water. Thanks to her guidance, he learned how to swim and gained a lot of confidence. We truly appreciate all her effort and dedication!
This is the perfect spot for all your fitness needs, as it offers a wide range of equipment and facilities, including a swimming pool. Additionally, there's a library and a coffee shop, making it an ideal place for a family outing. However, the main drawback is the parking situation. You need to park in the adjacent retail area, and the parking time is limited to only 2 hours.
The only reason I'm giving this place a 1 is because wile I was in the queue I seen this weird guy sat on his own with no one with him spitting on the floor and rubbing it in with his sandles wile recording on his phone.. very suspicious
There is a well equipped gym and swimming pool. Various fitness classes are provided, some of which are aimed at seniors. The local library is in the same building as well as a cafe.
There’s a blonde lady that works reception at Crewe lifestyle centre and let’s just say she is… larger than life. She would do well to remember that she works in a customer service role. Her job is to SERVE. Perhaps one day she might get to be a supervisor and she can boss the little people around, but for now she’d do well to remember her place. A customer service assistant. I will be cancelling my membership next month because I simply can’t stand to see her face any longer. P.S. your staff should get free gym access, because it’s not a good look having her as the face of health and lifestyle business
Great swimmimg place! But I do have some issues: - the membership price is very expensive, which makes it not really accsessible for many people. I suggestthat the price go down a bit. - some of the staff are EXTEMELY rude to me. I do not think they should be working there as servers. It is really rude at appauling. My daughter is really sensitive in terms of emotions and they are not helping!
Been a couple of times as I prefer this indoor pool to Nantwichs one. Nantwich is great but the staff are lovely on reception and by the pool
Excellent service by Sue who helped us get my daughter into swimming lessons. My son also really enjoys learning swimming from Kim. Previous issue on buying certain activities at very specific times seemed to be down to an individual and this has been resolved with the manger.

In my opinion this is a really magnificent memorial monument which show how much it is worth for the people who live now. This Knife Angel was made from cold iron to blend with the knives which were used in the past crime scenes picked up from all streets in the UK and family members will never forget 🥹❤️
I was there for the Christmas lighting switch on. It was great.
The Crewe War Memorial is a prominent landmark located in the town of Crewe, Cheshire, UK. The memorial was unveiled on 29th October 1921, and it stands at the center of the town's main square. The memorial is a tall, ornate structure made of Portland stone, and it is dedicated to the memory of the soldiers who lost their lives in World War I. It features a large column topped with a bronze statue of a soldier, with a sword in hand and looking out towards the town. The statue represents the spirit of the soldiers who fought and died for their country, and it serves as a poignant reminder of the sacrifice made by so many. In addition to honoring those who fought in World War I, the memorial also bears plaques that commemorate the lives of soldiers who died in World War II, as well as other conflicts since then. The Crewe War Memorial is an important symbol of remembrance and a place where people can come to pay their respects and reflect on the sacrifices made by so many. It is a significant landmark in the town and a reminder of the bravery and courage of those who fought for their country.
In my view as a Crewe, the Memorial is better in its current position and as you will see from the pictures, the 2019 remembrance parade was a beautiful day. Lots turned out and it's so important to take time out to remember those who are not with us today!
A magnificent war memorial in the heart of Crewe town centre. With ample seating surrounding it.
It looks alot better here then it did in the town square. crewe hasn't got many nice things to go see but this is well worth a look
Lovely just to sit have a soft drink and educate my children about the first world War
Enjoy visiting the memorial, knowing the list of the fallen who gave their lives for our freedom . R I P. Thank you all .

Gorgeous park! Well kept. Something for every age, whether it’s Play park for kids, outdoor gym, or beautiful walks. Then enjoy some delicious food and drink at the cafe.
Hardly any snow about but main paths had been gritted. Lovely to see the birds on the partially frozen lake. Good to get out for some fresh crisp winters air.
Really relaxing! Very peaceful and beautiful ☺️
Bit chilly on the bridge at Queen's Park today but very beautiful.

Went into Peacocks to get clothes for my Dad (who is in a care home). Their men's clothing range was very reasonably priced & I found all the long sleeved t shirts and jumpers he needed. The staff there were very helpful and I even received NHS discount.
Several empty units, as is often the case in many town centres. Just feels like this is particularly badly hit. Shame, really, as what IS there is pretty good.
Car parking for the theatre at Crewe is behind this building so you need to walk through or around it. How odd I haven't been asked to review the theatre where I watched a show for two hours but was asked to review a building I didn't even enter.
Very little shops in Winsford Centre since B& M built. Too big for small town at cost of other smaller shops. Ghostntown now. Such a shame after all the years of promises of variety & improvements after rhe 1960 's shops were collapsing after they were in bad state if repair. New B& M i found expensive for alot of items. Monistrosity
This place is absolutely mismanaged. Lots of potential but little investment. There are a couple of good coffee places, but nothing too exciting.
There are a number of empty units and the place is not as busy as it once was, but the current available shops there, are good value for money and offer very affordable clothes and household items .
Beautiful premise, having plenty of shopping facilities, and paid parking is available.
Could be a bit better organised. I couldn't find a map to look for toilets.
