Parco Sculture del Chianti is a captivating sculpture garden set within a lush, wooded landscape that invites visitors to explore its diverse array of contemporary art installations from artists across five continents. The park offers an inspiring experience as you wander through the forest, encountering unique and thought-provoking sculptures that harmoniously blend with their natural surroundings. With improved facilities including a visitor center and parking area, guests can enjoy a leisurely stroll without feeling rushed or crowded.
Definitely worth a visit. A lovely gem of a garden and place to wander, explore art, and connect with nature. We were the only visitors and explored as a family if 10 on hot day. So happy we went.
David C — Google review
The park and sculptures are nice, our 3 year old really enjoyed the artwork and walk, but €10 is a bit steep, specially per adult. Our 3 year old didn't pay. It's a nice change of pace to the business of the towns, at least when we went it was empty and the lady attending was very helpful.
Diego F — Google review
We had a great time at the park! It was a good walk and the art was interesting. 10 euros for admission is probably a reasonable price for all the art.
Rachel H — Google review
Really high quality works by renowned contemporary sculptors, from all over the world. The route is about 1km of pathway with sculpture installed in locations chosen by the artists. Most works were made for (or adapted to) this lovely wooded hillside. The curators have provided helpful notes and there’s an excellent app with photos and story in several languages.
Jonathan G — Google review
Great find off the beaten train. Some interesting sculpture on an easy wooded trail.
Robert C — Google review
A hidden gem, a beautiful and tranquil place to visit on a summers day. Some beautiful sculptures with enough interactivity to keep our two children (8 and 11) entertained during the 75 minute circular route.

My wife and I had a lovely tour lead by Rosella. She was very informative and also able to accommodate us by speaking English, which we always appreciate. The wines were all very good and there was so much history to the wine making process. We hope to come back on our next trip to Tuscany
Adam T — Google review
Beautiful winery and wonderful wine! My partner and I went on a tour with 6 tastings and enjoyed the thorough guide and details of the winery.
Carmen R — Google review
Amazing scenery with even better wines. The tour was very thorough and detailed, and our many questions were addressed. It’s a beautiful property with a lovely story. The surrounding view from the winery is gorgeous, as is the drive in!
S D — Google review
We drove up on our bikes without reservation and were greeted enthusiastically by the tour guide. Apparently a tour had just started and we arrived just in time to join. The guide, a local sommelier, was knowledgeable and told us about the history of Chianti, the vineyard, the variety of grapes and the wine making process (which is ecological and carbon neutral). This place has great wines and is highly regarded in the region. We ordered some wine to be shipped home and were guided professionally by the staff. Thank you for the amazing experience and being so open and welcoming!
Fos T — Google review
We cycled here from Siena, the vineyard is situated in the rolling Tuscan Hills and well worth a visit. We thoroughly enjoyed our wine tasting tour with our host Mateo, who was very knowledgeable. He was friendly, thorough, and gave us a fascinating insight to wine growing in the region. Thank you!
Daniel ( — Google review
Beautiful winery. The tour was very personal and rich in the family’s history. A lot of love and care has gone into this winery. Wine was fantastic!
Samantha H — Google review
Excellent tour. Great vineyard, great education on wine, region, maker and history of all. Well worth the trip. Wines were all exceptional. If you go try to prearrange transport to and from Siena. It's a 24 minute ride that cost us $175CDN!

Wonderful experience and great wines!!!! Scheduled a tour for the same day, ended with a private tour, quiet and peaceful winery. Traveling w kids it was hard to find a winery that wouldn’t charge for them or would accommodate them, after much research so glad I found this one, best experience we had during our winery day.

The wine & the grounds were beautiful! If I have one tiny gripe it would be that we didn’t receive glasses with our picnic baskets & didn’t realize until we’d hiked out into the vineyard. We necked it straight from the bottle and it made for funny pics but it did seem like an oversight. Still we really enjoyed the grounds & the wine and happily shipped a case home.
Elisa D — Google review
We absolutely loved our Wine & Dine experience at Vallepicciola. Julia made the tour and food pairing so memorable and fun and was such a wealth of knowledge. Highly recommend booking a private transfer and making this your one and only winery stop while in Tuscany!
Chelsea P — Google review
Loved this winery tour and tasting! Super knowledgeable and friendly guide with great English. Enjoyed the architecture and layout of the winery. Indoor and outdoor tasting seats available. We sampled 4 wines, which included 1 rose, 2 chiantis and 1 Cabernet franc. Came with some cheese, olive oil and bread, plus cold water. Can buy wine there or they will ship in increments of 6 bottles.

Amazing place! The wine selection was excellent, and the food paired beautifully with it. The staff who attended us were incredibly kind and attentive. Thank you for such a wonderful experience!

This winery is amazing! Actually it’s best we have been in all Tuscany in our 5 days winery tour. Federica was just amazing! 🙂
Duny C — Google review
We booked a wine tasting here through our hotel and are so happy we did! The grounds are beautiful and the facility is modern and sleek. Margot was so attentive, knowledgeable, and had amazing suggestions! The wine was wonderful! We had such a lovely afternoon with Margot at the winery and would love to come back again one day!
Alejandra L — Google review
We had an absolutely AMAZING time visiting this property! We learned so much, ate incredible food, and tasted some of the most amazing wine I have ever had. I cannot recommend this winery enough.
Regan P — Google review
This was one of the finest experiences we ever had. We took the tour of 35 euros as a more simple one, yet we made the best decision ever. Although we were a bit late, the staff was so pleasant and polite with us and helped us find our tour. Our tour guide Margo was amazing, so pleasant to hear all her stories and loved the way she showed her passion for the wine through the stories and the way she walked us through the whole process. The thing that was most impressing was her way of finding out what type of wine was our favorite and what was the favourite type of wine for the couple we shared the tour with. This was winning thing for us as her last gesture at the end of the wine testing was bringing us their best Pinot Noir wine as our fav wine choice and bringing Merlot to the other couple that loved Merlot. From the amazing wines (either Chardonnay, Chianti or Pinot Noir) to the best homemade 15 years old Balsamic vinegar, to the most amazing and spicy extra virgin olive oil... Everything was like a storyline written by the best author. This wine tasting has been our best decision! Totally recommended!

A hidden gem!! A must go during the summer season in the Tuscan region. It’s the ONLY kosher winery in Italy that grows its own grapes. It’s a small operation and clearly well tended to. We did the “full experience” which was a tour of the grounds, wine tasting and dairy lunch. The food was out of the world - some of the best food I’ve ever had. It’s about 1h15 from Florence. We rented a car and drove but you could do something like welcome pick ups or schedule a taxi to take you. If you’re looking for a kosher winery experience, this is it!
Julia F — Google review
I was very undecided about which of the kosher wineries in Tuscany to visit. I was so very happy I chose this one. Their vineyards and winery are impeccable (the only kosher winery in Italy that grows its own grapes), the tour was really great, the wine was of the highest quality (competing with the best in the region), and the restaurant was absolutely delicious. It’s a family business and each take pride in their work. The tour and tasting was led by the husband, and the restaurant run by the wife, who makes the food from ingredients grown in their on-grounds garden. A very special experience.
Mingy D — Google review
Terra di Seta was the highlight of our trip to Italy, Hands down! My wife and I did the wine tour/wine tasting/dinner combo and we had a spectacular night!! Walking around the beautiful hills of Tuscany while listening to Daniele give an awesome tour of his own winery is really really cool! The wine tasting was also really fun. Shoutout to the bruschetta topped with fresh tomotatos and Terra di setas homemade olive oil. Really really tasty! And when we thought it wouldn’t get any better, the dinner blew us away! Some of the best and freshest kosher food I’ve had! (Hard to get fresher than picking the veggies from your own garden).Truly an unforgettable experience!
Doniel E — Google review
We ate at Terra di Seta this past summer, following a spectacular tour of this lovely winery. It was a total pleasure! They serve dairy meals - not a lot of options (so not great if you’re a very picky eater) - but everything was delicious!! The atmosphere was stunning. The views incredible. The wine was delicious as well! Highly highly recommend. (Also I have celiac and they were able to provide me with safe gluten free food!)
Naomi L — Google review
Best experience I had in Italy! The best staff! The family that owns the winery are truly incredible people! We went for the tour and wine tasting ended up on an amazing double date with a couple we met there! The atmosphere is incredible! Everyone go! Don’t get me started on how good the wine is!
Vingart123 — Google review
Our visit to the kosher Terra di Seta was the highlight of our trip. We enjoyed the informative tour of the winery, the special kosher wine tasting, and the outstanding lunch in the garden. Everything about this vineyard exceeded our expectations. The friendly professionalism of the staff, the impeccable wines, the cleanliness and order of the entire facility and the exceptional lunch were beyond joyful for us. This is an experience that I would recommend to any kosher traveler. Be advised that you need to reserve in advance, and you will probably have to rent a car to get there, as we did from Florence, where it was only an hour's drive away, in Chianti. The closest major city is Siena. The owners are lovely, kudos to them! I hope we will return someday soon. Arrivederci!
B T — Google review
My husband and I came to Italy on our honeymoon and we picked this winery based on all the reviews as our #1 to visit but also the restaurant. We have been in Italy now for 6 days and the food here is THE BEST we have had yet. Rich and robust in flavor! Daniel, the owner, gives the tour and it is on the hillside of the best, beautiful part of Tuscany. A true gem!!! Daniel gives such a informative tour and took our order in their restaurant. Organic and kosher too!! All the vegetables grown at their vineyard. So thankful for all the previous reviews that lead us to here!!!

Called to see if it was possible to have a tour and some wine tasting for the same day. Luckily there was still some time available! Osteria Cacio E Pepe is a hidden gem in Tuscany, beloved by locals and offering a delightful dining experience. The restaurant is known for its exceptional gluten-free options, including delectable bread and gnocchi senza glutine. Visitors praise the friendly staff, excellent service, and delicious food at reasonable prices. Whether you're savoring spinach and ricotta with Ragu sauce or indulging in mouthwatering desserts, this charming eatery promises an unforgettable culinary journey.
We are in our honeymoon here, and looked for many restaurants nearby, but all fully booked. only this restaurant kindly left 2 seats for us. I didn't expect it to be the best meal we had in Italy. Especially the dessert, the homemade tiramisu was so delicious, which added infinite joy to our honeymoon. The boss lady was very cute, and she seemed to be a very happy person. Although she didn't speak English, we used Google Translate to communicate happily.

We received the suggestion to stop at this Osteria during our e-bike tour from Siena, and it was absolutely worth it. Everything was delicious — the filet with porcini mushrooms, the filet with caramelized onions, the pasta, a starter of bread, cheese and prosciutto, and the tartufi were all incredibly good. Highly recommended!

Located at the edge of a forest, Osteria Cacio e Pepe offers a delightful dining experience. We were warmly welcomed, and the traditional dishes were superb. The Pici Cacio e Pepe was perfectly balanced, and the Bistecca alla Fiorentina was cooked to perfection— tender and flavorful. The cozy ambiance, coupled with exceptional hospitality, made our visit truly memorable. If you're seeking authentic Italian cuisine in a picturesque setting, this hidden gem is a must-visit.

Incredible truffle pasta! The amount of truffle makes the taste totally unique! I would like to say Ragù pasta was so good as well! the terrace is beautiful.

We came here on a whim looking to have a quick lunch pizza. Unfortunately or rather fortunately they do not serve Pizza for lunch. So we instead ended up with the Truffle Pasta and a Fiorentina Steak amongst some other small sides. As someone from Texas I can comfortably say that this was one of the best T-Bone Steaks I've had in my life. Both the Ribeye and Filet sides were buttery soft and grilled to perfection. The Truffle Pasta was also extremely good, surprisingly being one of the only restaurants we visited in Tuscany that did not serve standard "Barilla store bought" style pasta. I recommend coming here!

The amount of flies are crazy, more than 5 constantly flying around and landing on our food, impossible to pay attention to what I’m actually eating, plus mosquitoes and wrong orders of food = itchy, frustrated in the heat…

After reading mixed reviews, I wasn't certain what to anticipate from the Tuscan restaurant Ristorante Enoteca della Fornace. However, my experience turned out to be excellent in terms of both food and service. The fresh pasta and desserts were particularly noteworthy. It proved to be a wonderful alternative to eating at the nearby hotel. Additionally, the dinner was simply delightful with delicious cuisine and a friendly waitress who provided valuable suggestions for wine pairings.
Loved the restaurant and its beautiful view, The food hit the spot, but the homemade tiramisu was next level and just the right amount of sweet.

Beautiful place with an amazing view of the sunset over the Tuscan hills. We came in without a reservation and were seated promptly. Food was good and plenty as was the wine. Service was friendly and quick. I recommend making a reservation for a table on the terrace and not under the trees, as there were constant “gifts of nature” of different types dropping onto our table. This is not the restaurants fault of course, although they could maybe put up a net between the trees. This one factor unfortunately spoiled an otherwise wonderful dinner. All in all, highly recommend.

Ate here for both lunch and dinner while staying at the b&b, tried most things on the menu - really good food with an Italian authentic environment and lovely views. I didn’t need to book but it did get quite busy so for a good table on the terrace maybe book in advance. Go there!!

Don’t sleep on this restaurant. It may be a road side joint and looks sub par but it was easily one of the better pastas we had when taken into account the places we went to in Rome and Florence. Service isn’t great but the food is the real highlight.

Day 2

Off the beaten path
For day 2, if you don’t mind the extra trek, today covers more off the beaten path places like Bindi Sergardi - Tenuta Mocenni. Not quite as popular as Chianti Bicycles, but still highly rated among many travelers. Accounting for getting around and average time spent, today’s activities could take about 7 hours.

Nestled in the heart of Tuscany, Bindi Sergardi - Tenuta Mocenni is a must-visit for any wine enthusiast. This family-run winery offers an unforgettable experience with its stunning views and impeccable service. Guests rave about the delightful wine tastings held in picturesque gardens that overlook lush vineyards, making it a perfect setting to savor exquisite wines.
Bindi Sergardi winery offers a truly magical experience. The view and atmosphere are simply stunning — peaceful, authentic, and deeply calming. The road to get there is beautiful, making the journey part of the experience. We tasted four different wines, and all of them were excellent — especially the second and the last, which really stood out. The quality is top-notch, and you can tell how much care goes into everything they do. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, making us feel right at home. In my opinion, this is the best winery in the area. If you're nearby, don’t miss the chance to visit — it will soothe your soul and leave you feeling amazing.

Our wine tasting experience was amazing. The estate itself is breathtaking, surrounded by rolling Tuscan hills and vineyards, it feels like stepping into a postcard. The place alone is worth the visit. This place is a must for anyone visiting Tuscany and wants an outstanding experience while tasting great Chianti wines in an extraordinary place.
Cristi C — Google review
This place deserves nothing less than 5 stars. We showed up, without a reservation, and Lorena was very happy to give us a tour of the estate, the cellars and teach us how their Chianti Classico and other wines are made. We then enjoyed a delicious tasting of their wines and each new wine was even better than the last. The team was extremely friendly, accommodating, and happy to answer any questions. Their form for shipping wine is super simple and they help you work through it in case you have questions. The best part is, if you get a business card before you leave, you can order more and ship it to you anywhere in the world from the comfort of your own home. It is a beautiful estate that is quiet, peaceful, and the most pristine landscape around. One of the most beautiful views I have ever experienced. If you find yourself in Tuscany, rent a car, and go visit this place. It’s off the beaten path, but is truly a hidden gem.

Fabulous wine tasting experience today , Lorena was superb! 700 years of history and a family that loves their land . Beautiful wines And the chance to learn some wine tasting lessons from an expert . I highly recommend you add this to your visit to this breathtakingly beautiful region . I now have a taste for the wine of this region and some local knowledge and appreciation for the dedication and love that goes into producing it . I also learned the secret for keeping the wild birds away from the vines 😍

We had a fantastic wine tasting experience by two lovely ladies. In a beautiful spot overlooking the vineyards, we enjoyed four unique wines (and one bonus wine!). The explanations were very comprehensive, and there was plenty of opportunity to ask questions. Highly recommended for anyone in the area! 👌

An unforgettable Tuscan experience at Bindi Segradi Winery Visiting Bindi Segradi was truly one of the highlights of our time in Tuscany. The views were absolutely breathtaking… rolling hills, vineyards, and that golden countryside light that makes you feel like you’ve stepped into a postcard. The wine and food were exceptional. Every glass was perfectly balanced, and the ravioli with ragù was out of this world …rich, comforting, and full of flavor. You could really taste the love and tradition in every bite. What makes Bindi Segradi even more special is the sense of history and warmth. With 23 generations of winemaking, it genuinely feels like you’re stepping into someone’s home. We were greeted by their three friendly dogs running around the property, which made the whole experience feel so personal and authentic. Nicolo, the owner, was incredibly kind — talking with him felt like chatting with my grandfather. His stories, passion, and hospitality made us feel truly welcomed.

We had a fantastic experience and learned so much about Chianti Classico and Super Tuscan wines at Bindi Sergardi, all thanks to Lorena who welcomed us warmly for our tour and wine tasting. The estate is beautiful with the most breathtaking views of the rolling hills and vineyards, and we enjoyed every wine we tasted. We are so happy we chose to visit the Mocenni Estate and can’t recommend Bindi Sergardi enough for a memorable wine tasting experience.

We received a very friendly reception from Natalia with a glass of sparkling wine followed by an interesting and charming tour through the vineyard, visiting the caves, the old castle. Afterwards she took her time to give more explanation during further wine tasting, whilst enjoying a fantastic view over the Chianti. Natalia is clearly very passionate about the history of the Chianti and the winemaking. We took this tour with our children and she really got their attention. We can definitely recommend this visit.

We visited Fattoria della Aiola in 2022 and, frankly, it was one of our best experiences with Italian wineries. Everything was just perfect - starting with the picturesque old Tuscany location, serene view and vicinity and, above all - really enjoyable wine tasting. The quality of Fattoria della Aiola wines is extremely good, we recommend it full heartedly. And a professional explanations given to us by Natalia Meylunas together with excellent wines opened for us the unforgettable world of Chianti Classico!
Nathalie M — Google review
An experience we won’t soon forget! We booked a tour and wine tasting at Fattoria Della Aiola, with not much information before we made the booking, and it was well worth the visit! The wines were amazing and the tour guide/sommelier was so enthusiastic about her work that you could not help but get caught up in her enthusiasm. Not to mention the new found appreciation for great wines. 10/10 worth the visit!
Annie B — Google review
Fattoria della Aiola is located in a stunning corner of Tuscany, right in the historical part of the Chianti Classico region. The degustation was not just about tasting wine, it was a full journey. We started with a lovely walk through the vineyards, learning how the vines are cared. Then came the cellar tour, where we discovered how different barrels and their sizes influence the flavor and aroma of the wines. The next stop was a medieval castle or fortress of Aiola, with stories of it”s glory and times of old battles. The wines were outstanding – from a refreshing sparkling and fruity white, to characterful Chianti Classico and rich aged IGT Toscana reds. The tasting also included a selection of local cheese and cold meats, along with the estate’s own delicious olive oil. Everything was top quality and perfectly paired. Highly recommend for anyone seeking an authentic and memorable Tuscan wine experience.

A very big thank you to our guide and sommelier, Natalya. The wine and food was impeccable and the tour of the premises, interesting and impressive. Very familiar and incredible value.

Memorable Experience in Siena We had an incredible time at this charming winery near Siena! The setting was beautiful — classic Tuscan views with rolling vineyards and warm hospitality. Our sommelier was absolutely wonderful — personable, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about Chianti Classico wines. She took her time explaining the winemaking process, the history of the region, and guided us through each tasting with care and enthusiasm. Each wine had its own story and character, and we left with a deeper appreciation for what makes Chianti Classico so special. The relaxed pace and authentic atmosphere made it one of the highlights of our trip to Tuscany. Highly recommend this tour for anyone wanting a genuine and memorable wine experience.
Chris Q — Google review
We visited this winery on a self guided e-bike tour on our way back from Sienna to our accommodation in Radda. We hadn’t booked in advance but we were welcomed in and given a 5 wine tasting and a cellar tour. The lady who did the tour and tasting was exceptionally knowledgable not only about the wine and the wine making process but also had some really interesting info on the history of Chianti and Chianti Classico. We could happily have stayed for longer (and a vineyard tour was also on offer if we had more time) but we needed to get back as we needed to hand our hire bikes back at a certain time and needed to allow time for the cycle back. Highly recommend this winery - probably the best of the 5 we visited on our 3 day trip!

Azienda Agricola La Lama is a charming, family-owned winery located in Siena. This rustic establishment has been operating for over 50 years and offers a delightful wine experience. The hosts are welcoming and the wine is exquisite. With an annual production of approximately 7000 bottles, this small-scale winery provides a familiar atmosphere. Sara, the receptionist, is exceptionally friendly and the quality of their Chianti Classico is top-notch.
The production is really familiar - a small one. And Sara, who received us, was super sympathy. Besides, the wine is ABSOLUTELY good. For sure I truly recommend you a visit.

Excellent winery; the cellar is a beautiful building. The host was excellent, very friendly and informative. The wines in the tasting were varied and absolutely delicious. Steeped in history, Felsina S.P.A is a beautiful property that offers visitors a chance to experience its rich heritage through its historic buildings and vineyards. The range of wines on offer is truly remarkable, catering to all tastes and preferences. And don't forget to sample some of their exquisite olive oils, which come in monocultivar and plurivarietal varieties. A trip to this enchanting estate would be incomplete without a guided tour of the cellar - prepare to be awestruck by its sheer beauty!
Simon T — Google review
the best thing here was the wine, although nothing extraordinary. tasting without a tour 20 euros. you get 3 small portions of wines, a bottle of this wine costs 17-25 euros. for a group of 7 people it's a waste of money, an empty table, no story, no fun. I'm very disappointed. I don't recommend.
Jędrzej W — Google review
I had the delight of visiting this winery while I was in Tuscany. The grounds are absolutely gorgeous and so is the building where you have the tasting. They have a lovely patio you can side outside on. Everywhere you look, you feel like you're in Under the Tuscan Sun. Their olive oil is to die for. They gave me a sample of the Leccino with rustic bread. It is the best olive oil I have ever tasted. I ended up purchasing a bottle, stuffing it in my suitcase and it survived the trip home! If you are in the area, definitely check this place out.

We went twice to this restaurant. First time was amazing, we went in the upper room, with a very nice « tavern » ambiance. The food was great and everything went perfect. The second time, we booked a table for 4 people to share another great night with 2 of our best friends. But we were not as lucky this time: we were placed into the second room of the restaurant which is very basic and we were placed next to 2 tables of 8 people+. It was super loud, and not at all the same ambiance than we had the first time. We asked when we arrived to be placed to the other room, as we could see there was another table of 4 still free. But they denied our request as it was already booked for « regular customers », even though we did book the table quite some times before as well… Not a great feeling. Later on, we ordered some veggies tempuras, and we were served with onions and zucchinis only because that’s only what they had. A few minutes after, we can see the table of 8+ people being served with tempuras as well, but with a much larger choice of veggies. Not a big deal but still leaving us another bad feeling.

A local from Siena recommended this place, and we’re so glad we listened. The bistecca alla Fiorentina was excellent, cooked just right, nicely charred outside and juicy inside... so full of flavor! The tonno di coniglio was also a real highlight too, super tender, with a lovely mix of herbs that gave it a fresh, aromatic taste. The restaurant’s interior was cozy and felt truly authentic, and the staff was kind and helpful throughout. They also have a great selection of wines, with some really nice local options that paired perfectly with the meal. A great find in Vagliagli.

We had dinner there. Their food was good and the four star I gave for the food. While I have to post here about their price for off-menu dish. All first course in the menu cost no more then 15 Euro( with rabbit meet). We are here in end Sep, so in mushroom season. While the vegetarian Pasta with mushroom ( off-menu) was charged as 20€. A normal salad with sliced raw mushroom in was charged 15€ for a really tiny potion. They just cut the mushroom raw and put into normal green salad. They didn’t even special seasoning the mushroom, while they dare to charge 15€?? It’s such a shame. In the menu the most expensive starter, beef tartare cost only 10€. I’m really suspicious about this. Because normally the dish of the day ( off-menu) should have a similar price as in the menu but ours was double the price. Enclosed I attach the pics of our meal today including two off-menu dish for reference. In addition, for the T-bone steak we were asked if we want 1 kg or 1.2kg. We answered 1.0 the minimum weigh would be good. While in the end it was 1.2 kg in the bill.

Pizza restaurant
Pizzeria Osteria Bella Napoli, located in a quaint town near a parking lot, offers an authentic and rustic ambiance that adds character to the place. With a variety of appetizers and options for main courses such as pasta, meat, and fish, diners can enjoy a diverse culinary experience. The staff is polite and the prices are reasonable. Although the pizzas are only available for dinner, there is at least one vegetarian pasta option along with several meat choices.
We were looking for a local place for lunch and I found this one on the google maps. It was inexpensive and tasty. For appetizers we ordered bruschetta and small octopuses and both dishes were nice. Pasta with white ragu sauce looked simple but the flavors were amazing.

This was the best pizza I've had in my life. It has been 2 weeks so far that I've been in Italy; and I've eaten a lot of pizza. But this is THE place. After discussing with the waiter, he informed us that the recipes come from Naples which is the king of pizza. It all makes sense to me now why it was the best that I've had. We sat in the garden which was beautiful. The river runs right behind the garden and it is peaceful. A must try! Enjoy :)

Talk about a total knockout! The pizza here was hands down the best I tasted in Italy. But it wasn't just the food; the staff were simply outstanding. What truly set the scene was the stunning creek right by the outdoor seating – it was breathtaking and made for a perfect backdrop, especially with the adorable duckies waddling by. Between the mouthwatering food, excellent house wine, and incredible surroundings, the vibes were just perfect
Aditi S — Google review
We had the very best pizza here! The service wasn’t great, waited a long time to see a waiter even though we were the only ones there, but the wait was apparently worth it. We got two pizzas, a pasta, a calzone and the bruschetta . All was delicious!

This has been the best tasting pizza we've had in Toscana in 2025. Went here on a vibe , left with an experience of a lifetime. The wine list is quite good also, the house with is delicious.

Definitely one of the best Napoli style pizza I've tried in Italy.

A typical osteria with a typical menu. The food is average, not bad, but nothing special. Just like you'd expect from an osteria.

A real pizza, made by a Neapolitan with a light and airy dough that partly melts in your mouth. The way pizzas are meant to be!

We’ve been here several times and have truly come to appreciate and care for the family. Everything is fantastic—the food, the drinks, the breathtaking views, the helpful advice, and the warm, attentive staff. And the olive oil is simply outstanding!

We stopped here by chance on our way back to our villa, and it turned out to be a wonderful surprise. The service was attentive, the setting was stunning, and the view was absolutely breathtaking. The dishes were generous and authentic: beef carpaccio, wood-fired sausage, asparagus and parmesan risotto, ricotta and pecorino ravioli, and meat pasta. Everything was delicious—even the dessert! The affogato was a real treat. Highly recommended! Prices were very reasonable too.

Such a beautiful restaurant! Amazing service and food ❤️ we had the best risotto and pesto pasta. Tiramisu was delicious too! The view is one of the best from all the places we have seen so far in Toscany - adorable. Very recommended.

A local friend tipped us off about Ristorante Enoteca Villa di Sotto, and it did not disappoint. The food was legit amazing—super authentic Italian dishes that hit all the right spots. Most of the folks dining there were locals, and the waitstaff mainly spoke Italian, but they were so friendly and on point with the service. The view out the window? Straight-up gorgeous vineyard vibes. The place was clean as a whistle, and the prices were honestly a steal for how good everything was. I’m already stoked to come back next time I’m around. Totally recommend checking it out!

Day 3

Southeast side of town
For day 3, we recommend exploring the southeast side side of town. Start the day off with Chianti Bicycles, then wind down and take it easy by the time you get to Crete Senesi-Asciano IAT Informazione & Accoglienza Turistica. All together, your day would be filled with about 5 hours of non-stop fun.

Bicycle rental service
Chianti Bicycles is a bike hire service located in Castelnuovo Berardenga, just 20 kilometers east of Siena in the southern Chianti region near Crete Senesi. The area's history dates back to the tenth century under the control of noble Berardo, giving rise to its name. Visitors have praised the faultless service and convenient location along the Strade Bianche route, with gravel bikes available for those seeking adventure.
Would definitely recommend spending your morning touring on the E bikes for breath taking views! May 2024 Great tour with our guide, the E bikes were great and the pace was to how we wanted it. Toured round the Ricasoli castle and a beautiful garden from a local! Would recommend to do this, such a great way to start the morning with beautiful sites! We started at 9am which was perfect as think later will be too hot for English! Picked up on time too!

I rented an e-mountainbike from them and toured around Siena for almost a week. They brought the bike to our hotel and picked it up again. Great bike, friendly staff and moderate prices. Very much recommended
Eric-Jan K — Google review
We booked the Chianti Classic tour, 4 hours with wine tasting, and village/castle visit. Although the bike ride itself is nice and our guide was nice, what we did isn't really what was advertised. Warning, this is not a leisurely bike ride, we didn't ever stop for pictures, it's 4 hours of non-stop winding roads biking, we didn't really visit a village, the guide didn't inform us of any history (he was more so a professional biker rather than a guide), and mostly there was NO wine at all. We stopped for a castle visit and coffee, but we had to pay for it (not included like they made it seem on their website). The ride was beautiful but definitely not what we expected.
Margaux W — Google review
Loved our guided e-bike tour through the Chianti region. One of the best experiences of the entire trip to Italy! Thank you Alfredo for your expertise and guiding our group.
Alina W — Google review
I recently rented an electric bike for the day out in the countryside, and it was easily one of the best decisions of my trip. From start to finish, the experience was seamless, enjoyable, and refreshing. The staff were incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable. They took the time to fit me with the right size bike, walk me through the controls, and suggest a few scenic routes depending on how long I wanted to ride. Their local insight really made a difference. The bikes themselves were top-notch: clean, powerful, and easy to use. I loved how the electric assist helped me climb hills without breaking a sweat, but still let me get in a great ride and enjoy the fresh air. The battery lasted all day with no issues, and the ride was smooth and comfortable even on gravel paths. What I appreciated most was how the e-bike gave me the freedom to cover more ground without feeling rushed or tired. Whether you're an avid cyclist or just want a leisurely ride, this is an experience you won’t forget.
James B — Google review
We could not get on a tour (at short notice) so we did a self-guided tour. Navigation was relatively easy - ask the shop for tips. I do not normally use an ebike, but i am glad I did, as the terrain is very hilly!! It also meant we could cover more area (58km in 1 day). The route (similar to Chianti Classic tour) is on some busy roads, but the scenery is stunning - especially in golden Autumn. The bikes were like new and the people at the shop helpful (mostly through Google translate!) You can test and adjust your bike in the car park across the road.
Rebecca D — Google review
We had a great sunset tour. Awesome route and very easy with the electrical bikes with three modes (eco, trial and boost). The battery will last long enough to use the second mode (trial) all the time and we used the boost mode to go uphill. Don't need to be a top fit athlete to do this awesome route!

I visited Pizzeria La Morina because all other places in the village were fully booked. It turned out to be a wonderful surprise! The pizza and calzone were superb, accompanied by large bottles of beer. Additionally, there was a charming little piazza where one could relax while finishing their meal, which brought a smile to everyone's face. The value for money was exceptional as well. This place undoubtedly serves the best pizza I have ever had; it was crispy and unforgettable.
If you are near this town come try this place out! Amazing pizza! Loved this cute place. Great service and waitress was friendly and super sweet! If I am ever in the area again, I will definitely visit this place again!

Great pizza and great price! My daughter says it is the best pizza we’ve had in our 1 month vacation in Europe. We’ve felt like the local Italians. 😁❤️🇮🇹🍕 Our favorite was pizza with gorgonzola. Amazing

Wandered into town, asked for a good place to eat from the locals and was directed to this little restaurant. It appeared barren, but we decided not to judge a book by its cover. There was a little language barrier, but we got thru it and had the absolute best pizza I've had in decades! Don't let the appearance and cool welcome fool you. (Some people are just introverts)... this place is the real deal. Go for the food... not the hugs.

AntoniMax - Chianti Soul Kitchen is a hidden gem in Tuscany, offering an unforgettable dining experience. The restaurant boasts Michelin star quality food with Chef Antonio creating some of the best dishes in Italy. Guests rave about the tender pork medallions and flavorful Paccheti with yellow tomatoes and mussels. The friendly staff, excellent service, and great wine selection add to the overall amazing experience.
Visited for dinner with a couple of friends from the area. The food is absolutely delicious and the service is very polite. Many different options from the territory to try. I would recommend absolutely everything we ate and I will definitely visit again! Dog friendly.

New experience at Chianti Soul Kitchen with the owner Maximilian and the chef Giada. A wonderful ambiente with an excellent service, you feel welcome as a guest and as a friend. We had as a starter (antipasto) the „gamberi rosso crudo“, which an explosion of different tastes and flavors created by Giada. She loves to experiment with combinations of different flavors and that makes this kitchen unique. The duck („petto di anatra“) with potatoes was amazing, perfectly seasoned and pink meat! Wonderful! The wine selection is legendary at Chianti Soul Kitchen. We love to be there!

We came here on two separate evenings and really enjoyed it. Max and the team provide excellent service. Their bread (includes focaccia) was the best one we had tried during our trip. The fusiolloni ragu, bread soup and octopus were delicious and would highly recommended. Everything else also tasted nice; as a pistachio fan, the pistachio mousse was not very pistachio forward (tasted more like a white chocolate mousse)

We’ve met with Max long time ago. We’ve decided to visit his restaurant in our vacation. Foods and services were awesome. Also location was very quick to find so if you want to have a good dinner, I recommend you to visit and check the menu.

Soul Kitchen is a slightly peculiar name for this restaurant in that it doesn't serve up nonna's vintage (a)typical Reggae Ragu recipes, but rather a set of very good fine dining-esque dishes with modern twists to those roots. Well presented, well cooked and well balanced; the chef obviously knows what he is doing & with such great ingredients to hand, it made for a delicious dinner. Great bread too. Personally, I would tweak the panna cotta slightly by grating the coconut & adding a vibrant zesty drizzle, but other than that there is little to fault.

WOW- Dare I say Max has one of the best restaurants in all of Tuscany? We had a dinner the day after our wedding for 27 ppl and he NAILED it- all the food came out at the same time (3 courses) and was HOT. His team was attentive and the food was incredible. 11/10!!

We really enjoyed our meal here. The cauliflower starter was beautifully presented with tasty flavors and we all loved the pork meal with fennel. So tender and flavorful. Tuscan restaurant
In April 2022, La Taverna della Berardenga, a Tuscan restaurant highly recommended by locals, offered an authentic and delightful dining experience. The menu selection was diverse and included both classic Tuscan dishes and local specialties. The food's quality was exceptional, especially the perfectly roasted meat. While the wine card featured a wide variety of options, it leaned towards the more expensive side for Italian standards. However, the red house wine left something to be desired.
The pappardelle fatte in casa al cinhiale is truly one of the best I have ever tasted anywhere in the world. Service is good despite the face they were busy and prices are extremely reasonable. Bravo capocuoco!! Read the full review of this restaurant on our blog.

Very traditional restaurant with traditional dishes. The cook took some time translating the menu for us which was great! We had a great steak tartare as a starter with very tasty fresh pasta. It's not a cheap restaurant but not overly expensive either! The lights were very bright though which doesn't give the restaurant a very cosy atmosphere.

Maria V — Google review
We arrived here on Saturday night and although we hadn't reserved a table we're showed rather promptly to a table outside by a waiter who seemed a little aggrieved us being there. It was empty at the time so didn't think it was a problem. We dissected the Menu and tried to translate it and took 1/2 liter house wine and some Tagliatelle with Porcini mushrooms and my wife took the Tuscan Burger. My pasta arrived and my wife had to wait. It wasn't the best pasta, no sauce to speak of to bind the ingredients together more just pasta and mushrooms. It was ok. My wife's Burger came and instead of pomme frites she got thinly sliced fried potatoes, like fresh thick chips which in turn were very nice. We were served inbewteen by a younger girl who definitely seemed a little friendlier. The restaurant started to fill and we noticed the tables around us being filled by people but that was it. A table next to us were left for at latest 20 minutes before someone brought some menus. When we had finished I enquired about dessert and once the menu arrived I ordered the focaccia bread with almonds and cream which turned out to be a saving grace. When we were finished the waiter came over asked us if we were finished, asked if we wanted coffee and because we said no just brought the bill. We paid and as we stood to leave and walk back the way we came in the rather rude waiter just opened the side of where we were sitting and showed us out. Not sure if he is generally like this or just rude with new faces/ foreigners. An experience that won't be forgotten for a while.

This has been my favorite food in Italy so far (we started in Venice, went through Florence and Chianti region of Tuscany). We had the portobello in white sauce and the wild pig aka boar. Oh and the tiramisu is divine!! Even if you have to drive 45 minuets out of your way (we did) it’s absolutely worth it!

Apr 2022. Tipped by a local, we had a good and nice lunch here. Authentic Tuscan kitchen, with classics, but also local dishes of the zone. Overall a good menu selection. The quality of the food was very good, the meat roasted perfectly. Wine card is large (on the more expensive side for Italian standards), yet the red house wine was a bit disappointing. Service was quick and good; they served the children in our group first, without us having to ask this. Most of the tables are inside and the decor is serviceable, but you come here for the food, not the surroundings. The crowd consisting mostly of locals/Italians (indicating the quality of the food). Price was very fair for the quality. Definitely recommended.
