Malvern Theatres, established in 1884, is a vibrant arts center and cinema that offers a diverse range of entertainment including plays, comedy, concerts, and films all under one roof. The area surrounding the theatre is rich in history and culture. Visitors can explore the nearby Croome Court with its stunning Capability Brown-designed landscape and delve into the musical legacy of composer Edward Elgar by following the Elgar Route or walking trails that lead to significant locations associated with his life and work.
Went to the first XL Comedy club and found the theater excellent. Plenty of space and loads of staff who knew what they were doing. The Air con worked and it is situated next to a beautiful park. Great visibility from where we were sitting and the sound system was excellent.

Modern theatre big foyer with bar and eating area. Auditorium well laid out with what appears to be a good view of the stage from all areas of seating. Saw the Northern Soul tribute band Soul Brothers Syndicate, a 20 piece ensemble who were excellent. Be aware bar prices are a bit steep. My wife had a large white wine, first glass she bought was £9.50 the second glass during the interval was £11! When she questioned this difference she was told by the bar person that she was undercharged for her first glass!! Other than that it's a venue I would recommend.

I had the chance to take a short visit inside Malvern Theatre on Monday 04/08/25 & looked around inside during my stay in the UK from Australia . It's been years since I last visited inside the Theatre, perhaps sometime in the 80's before moving to Australia. The exterior & interior looks very impressive being much more spacious & modern, café inside & many leaflets about different shows + local info. Also the gardens/Park also looks very well maintained. Very friendly & knowledgeable staff inside who made me very welcome.
STEPHEN N — Google review
Really good venue. Recently watched All or Nothing, the story of the Small Faces. Easy to get to our seats & had an excellent view of the stage.
Nick L — Google review
A truly wonderful venue . On a par or better than many west end theatres. Efficiently run with enthusiastic staff . Add to this a great bar restaurant and ample nearby parking . Oh and I forgot to mention the brilliant shows .
Paul J — Google review
We attended for the matinee of "2.22 a ghost story" on Wednesday 24th. What a very pleasant surprise, the theatre was great, large open area for dining & drinking, great views over the park. The seating in the auditorium was comfy, with great leg room. The best part was the play, the acting was great, plenty of jump moments & twists, with a healthy number of funny bits. Highly reccomend seeing it wherever you can.
David G — Google review
Lovely central location in Malvern. Great to have a choice of venues including a cinema. The all day cafe is a nice relaxed place to meet, with indoor and outdoor spaces- outdoors have great views! Not a great choice of food, but the coffee was good. Lots of steps (typically for Malvern).

Gardens
Priory Park, established in the 1870s, is located within the grounds of the Tudor Revival Priory Mansion. The park features a bandstand, ornamental bridges over a pond, well-maintained lawns, and an array of mature exotic trees. Visitors can enjoy striking views of the Malvern ranges and the Malvern Theatres in the Winter Gardens to the west.
What a great open space, right in the centre of town. When we went they had music on the bandstand, the children can play in the purpose built play area. There is plenty of grass to sit or lay on in the sun when it is sunny. The Malvern theatre has toilets and the bar for drinks or coffee and food. Parking is an around the town and it is not expensive. And just outside you have the free Malvern spring water, so remember to take some containers with you.
Andy M — Google review
Fantastic park in Great Malvern situated just below the theatre with views of the Malvern Hills. Beautifully kept ponds, areas to picnic, children’s play area is amazing.
Bluebell H — Google review
Priory Park was named after Peter Priory, the first man to sail single-handedly around Great Britain. He achieved this feat in August, 1621. The journey was particularly treacherous going through the English Channel due to the frequent ferry journeys between southern ports and Europe. Peter shouted himself hoarse trying to get them to move out of his way. He was also attacked by penguins whilst sailing around Scotland. He had to amputate two of his own fingers due to being savaged by a John Dory passing the Isle of Man. Peter was born in Malvern, the townsfolk honoured his achievement by building the park in his name.

Really beautiful gardens with lots of play equipment and many seats and benches some under cover . On a sunny day you can buy ice cream and the nearby theatre has coffee and other drinks
Paul J — Google review
A lovely area , great park for the kids and live music was playing which was lovely I don't give a full five stars as the shop on site has ridiculous prices 2 bottles of water and 2 cans of Pepsi was £11 which i think is awful price. So I would recommend bringing along a picnic. Otherwise it was quite nice.
Angeline W — Google review
The views in this park always mesmerize me. It’s just lovely. They also have great wooden playground for kids, which my son find very entertaining. Usually there’s ice cream and drinks available to buy, if not u can always pop in to the theatre coffee shop (located in the park).
Krisztina V — Google review
Good young band playing today as part of the summer series of Sunday afternoon music concerts in the park.
Peter D — Google review
Lovely park for kids, for family picnics or a quiet drink from the theatre bar. Fantastic band stand that has music on summer Sundays. Ice cream bike doesn't seem to be there anymore, and it could do with some picnic benches.

Perfect place for one day hiking. Really enjoyed the hiking and the view from the top. It was really wonderful and memorable. Car parking price for wholeday is 6 pounds. There is two parking space is there. Amazing experience

Gorgeous views and not too physically challenging with a short walk from the car park right into the hills with a choice or concrete paths around the hills or more rocky, stone paths up and over the peaks
Terri K — Google review
Beautiful place. One of the best hikes. There are several walking paths to reach up to the hills.

Escape the noise and pollution of the Cities and towns, of Human beings and head to the Malvern Hills in Worcestershire for breathtaking views. BE NURTURED BY NATURE Highly recommended 👑👑👑👑👑
Michael K — Google review
Wonderful place if you fancy a hike but don't want to climb a real mountain. It feels like a walk and you end up on the highest peak point of the hills. Sheep and yalk farm alongside. And stunning view of the towns on mountain foothills. Bring umbrella or rainsuit according to the weather as there's no shelter in case it rains or even if there are clouds. Because you eventually climb up into the clouds themselves.
Fatim S — Google review
We parked at west England quarry car park. And went up. First, we went up the smallest hill. It was really easy. But rocky to get back down 🪨. And then it was quite a walk to get to the Worcestershire Beacon. To get up to Worcestershire Beacon, it’s really steep at first, but when you get to this path, it’s easy. You can either go around or straight up another steep bit. I went up the steep bit so I can get more fit and have good muscles. Overall, it’s great to go if you’re an experienced walker. But you can still do it if you’re a beginner (like me) and you should come here if you’re local!
Harlow M — Google review
The Malvern Hills are listed as an "Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty". After a visit you will see why. Spectacular views to be had, overlooking Worcestershire on one side, and Herefordshire on the other. You can also see into the neighbouring County of Gloucestershire and also into Wales! You need to be pretty fit, and sure footed to scale the hills. It is quite a challenge to anyone who is pretty fit. There are several places to enter the Hills. One of the most popular being "British Camp". there is a good sized car park there. You do have to pay, but I'm not sure of how much? The Hills are lovely to visit at any time of year. No restrictions as to when you can and can't go. No charges. all free except for parking your car. Plenty of information about on various websites, for walks, views, entrance points etc. Dog friendly too. To walk from end to end is about 10 miles. When I was at school we did it every year as a sponsored walk. You will need most of a whole day to do it. Well worth it if your fitness is up to it.

Pub
The Red Lion is a charming pub located just a short walk from Mount Pleasant. It offers an ever-changing selection of guest ales, beers, local ciders, wines, spirits, and soft drinks. Adjacent to the pub is Gallery 36, a contemporary restaurant serving delicious meals for lunch or dinner. Visitors can enjoy classic Thai food from the restaurant while grabbing a drink at the pub.
We had a couple of pints in here on Saturday afternoon for the first time. I'm usually up and down the hills before opening times so I've never had the chance before. A great pub with a friendly, welcoming gaffer. Fantastic. We didn't have food so I can't comment.

Visted this quaint little pub at the bottom of the Malvern hills today. Such a pleasant atmosphere and couldn't have been made anymore welcome by the landlord Josh. Nothing was too much hassle for him. He provided water for my dogs and I had the pleasure of meeting his dog Baron. If you ever get the chance to visit Malvern then this pub is a must !! Thank you, will be back.

Wow, what a find. After a long walk up St Anne's Well onto the Malvern Hills we decided to stop here for a well earned drink. Sat in the garden area at the front and watched the world go by whilst resting. Josh was extremely helpful and friendly and by the looks of the boards there is lots going on so we will definitely be back, thank you!

Amazing food real home cooked food. The steaks taste like no other. Lovely pub very quirky and rustic but lovely atmosphere.
Suzanne S — Google review
Empty apart from us two,it was only 5 pm though. Apparently the Thai restaurant attached is very popular, and has great reviews, the European menu didn't have the beef which we wanted so we didn't eat here. I tried several ales but nothing tasted outstanding. It seems worth another visit though, I hope it was an off night.

Great Malvern Priory, a former Benedictine monastery turned Anglican parish church, offers an educational and enlightening experience for those interested in religious places. The stunning exterior features unique stonework with various rock types in a patchwork of colors. Inside, visitors can admire fabulous stained glass windows, including two modern examples. Despite some noise from the gift shop and other conversations, the friendly volunteers provide informative background information for a self-guided exploration.
The Priory in Malvern is a truly stunning building, with an impressive presence that becomes even more striking in wet weather when the rain deepens the colors of its historic stone. The intricate stained glass windows are particularly beautiful, casting a kaleidoscope of light inside and adding to the building’s sense of history and tranquility. Every visit is made even more enjoyable by the welcoming and friendly atmosphere created by those who work and volunteer there. It’s also exciting to see the redevelopment project taking shape, as it promises to enhance and preserve this remarkable place for future generations. As a local resident, I’m looking forward to seeing how the changes unfold and am hopeful that they will bring even more opportunities for concerts and cultural events. It would be wonderful to see the Priory become an even more vibrant hub for the community, blending its rich heritage with new and engaging experiences.

Thoroughly enjoyed taking a walk around Great Malvern Priory on Thursday 31/07/25. A peaceful & well maintained area, I didn't have time to go inside the church & just by browsing outside your surrounded by so much history. I'm sure I would have known more information about the Priory is I'd gone inside. I will defiantly re-visit the Priory when back in the UK from Australia in a couple of years to visit close family in Upton.

One of the best architectural masterpieces we can explore with silence. Great area to visit glass painting. If you are interested in architectural ancient churches, then Malvern priory should not miss it from your list.
Anil T — Google review
The Priory of Saint Mary and Saint Michael is another house of the holy worth visiting. The Archangel Michael called a time out on his battle with Satan to escort the mother of Jesus, both body and soul, up to heaven. The powers that be thought they'd name the priory after both of them. Satan was left drumming his fingers until the battle could begin again after Mick's return. We've got the usual stuff, windows, a ceiling, woodwork with a patina, hassocks, no cossacks.
Bill R — Google review
Wonderful church with a different type of construction and feels very calm inside. Outside the church is surrounded by big trees and gives us a very positive vibe, feels very relaxed after spent some time in church ⛪️

A must place to visit if you're in Great Malvern. Excellent stained glass windows and fantastic architecture everywhere you look. Has a nice little shop that sells local books and souvenirs. Also, don't forget the view through the keyhole at the far end. Highly recommend a visit here.

A wonderful discovery, stunningly beautiful and the surrounding countryside is superb. Don't miss out on this jewel and its history.
Iris M — Google review
Beautiful old church. Was sitting in the church looking up to the incredibly high ceilings & trying to imagine how they manage to get such giant stones stacked up so high so long ago? It’s such an intricately decorated church. Details covering literally any space from windows, walls, ceilings… clearly a very cherished building by many wealthy members over the last 900 (I think that’s the age of church?) years. But this was a Famous town in Victorian times for people seeking healing. I can picture the unwell person spending their day ~ seeing the healers, eating healthy food, breathing in mountain air, going to church to pray because the faith in healing was to try the practical way plus the divine way. Faith brought people here. So certainly this church was a main and frequented place for many a hopeful person . Currently it’s for a magical flare to it as there is a theatrical element to the events and sermons . I enjoyed listening to the animated singsong voice of the presenter and thought how refreshing his delivery was compared to many other churches with monotone grim type sermons. I’d be a member of this church no problem. It’s beautiful to look at, fun to go to, pleasant to hear, and people were very friendly and welcoming . Please leave a donation if you can. Two machine lets you choose how much to donate. Even a pound is an option. I believe tithing brings good karma and good luck as you know the church is filled with angels and all sorts of unseen eyes, witnessing your prayers and good efforts and deeds. You are clearly going to be blessed for being good in a church and towards a church. Also just read cs Lewis was inspired in his writing here. Seems I always end up finding places cs Lewis was.

Marks and Spencer in Cheltenham has undergone a surprising refurbishment, reviving its trendy appeal after being at risk of closure. The store features a standard Food Hall alongside a decent and varied clothing range. While some shelves may be less stocked than others, the quality of products remains high. The convenient town center location with nearby parking adds to the store's appeal. This branch continues to offer good quality food and clothing options, showcasing a promising future for Marks and Spencer on the high street.
Great customer service from lady at till, and the food was also top notch. Lovely piece of cod received, and the jacket potato and the pizza we had was also terrific. Price very reasonable too. Try the Mocha with Kenyan coffee beans, its great.

I just wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude for the outstanding customer service I received from Marie and the other wonderful ladies downstairs. I walked in hoping to book a bra fitting for myself and my daughter, only to find out that appointments were now done online. However, the lovely lady at the tills went above and beyond, offering to check if anything could be done. She kindly asked Marie if she could fit us in, and to my delight, she did! From the moment we stepped in, Marie made us feel completely at ease. My daughter and I were a little nervous, but Marie’s kindness, warmth, and positive attitude instantly reassured us. She was not only professional but also incredibly caring, taking the time to ensure we were comfortable throughout the entire process. She truly went above and beyond to make our experience enjoyable. After our fitting, we proceeded to purchase our items and were again met with excellent service from another lovely and kind lady at the tills. The team here is an absolute credit to the company, and their dedication to customer satisfaction does not go unnoticed. Thank you, Marie, and the rest of the team, for making our visit such a fantastic and memorable one! We will definitely be returning.

Took a drive outta town and ended up at this Marks & Sparks – not half bad! Staff were friendly, had us sorted quicker than you can say “cuppa.” The tucker was tasty – grabbed some fish and a cheeky dessert – but strewth, the prices’ll make your wallet sweat. Still, it’s kinda nice not havin’ to squint at shelves full of brands – it’s all M&S, job done. Quick in, quick out – no dramas. Four stars from me. It’s no bush barbie, but if you’re after a no-fuss shop and a decent feed, this’ll do just fine. And the knives in the kitchenware section? Let’s just say… that’s not a knife.
Jason M — Google review
Such a hard working staff that they keep staring and following you making uncomfortable even if ur whole item is just 32£.they will leave you only when the transaction is done. After that I looked at the glass in the store thinking something must be wrong with me otherwise why was she staring and following? I looked fine and decent Or may be I was foreigner. But who wants to go to jail just for 32£??and later on I asked if they have scissors as I was buying gift for a fren and want to take off the tag(after my payment) they said they don't have it. I mean what u guys use in store to unpack or organise?? Teeth??so much of hard work by the staff that made me feel like some sort of criminal.

A great store run by helpful friendly staff offering a full selection of gentlemen's clothing in Cheltenham. A shame the Gloucester store has given over the gentlemen's section to a café and lingerie!
Andrew F — Google review
A standard Food Hall next to a sizeable M&S outlet. There were all the usual items, but some of the shelves and chiller units were a bit bare and the store in general was slightly less tidy than other Food Halls I've visited. However, the staff were nice and the town centre location is handy with parking available in a number of nearby car parks.

The food here was amazing but it came with a hitch - EXTREMELY poor service from the waiter who was front of house. When we arrived we asked straight off for 2 beers and a couple of poppadoms - nearly an hour later the poppadoms arrived! We also waited over an hour from ordering to getting our starter. This would’ve been less annoying if the waiter had kept an eye on tables and noticed when drinks needed to be refilled. We had to go to him and ask for more drinks and then even then he carried on cleaning glasses and needed another reminder for our beers! Fair if it had been busy, there were 9 of us in total in the restaurant and 5 of the others had finished their meals 🤷‍♀️ The food though was simply delicious and after we complained the service offered by female waitress was amazing, she really did turn it around for us and we thank her for that and the chefs for the amazing food they prepared!

We came across this place because of its great reviews. The food was delicious. The service was super friendly. We went there on Sunday afternoon during the quieter period. We ordered 1 starter and 2 mains, and it was more than enough. Great portions, too, and we had the Nepalese beer. Highly recommend it.
Ulsbold H — Google review
Friendly atmosphere, friendly staff and great authentic tasty Nepalese food. All for an extremely reasonable price. Recommended.
Paul M — Google review
From a traveller’s perspective a rather unassuming frontage but we followed our noses to this wonderful restaurant. The staff were lovely and welcoming. The style was not untypical of a curry house and the usual suspects were available but certainly not the main event. We chose Nepalese dishes, as you should in a Nepalese restaurant. Fantastic and varied. My partner and I had very different dishes but both equally well handled. I couldn’t comment on authenticity as I’ve not travelled as far as Nepal but the dishes were very well produced and finished, served in the curry house style. The handling of spices and fresh ingredients was exceptional. Well balanced dishes with flavours that jumped out and really entertained the senses. Different flavours and fragrances came one after another. As a well travelled Chef with accolades I’d like to think I can handle just about any regional or ethnic cuisine but this unassuming little place, like the best back street outlets in faraway places, delivers in spades and I have great respect for their Chef’s talents.
Ben G — Google review
The food is genuinely authentic and delicious, the staff are wonderfully hospitable, and the atmosphere is warm and cosy. If you’re visiting the area, I highly recommend adding it to your list. Their signature curry, Kathmandu, is absolutely my favourite.

We have been here a few times and always come back for more. The excellent service is combined with very delicious authentic Indian and Nepali food. The dishes are very different from the standard Balti cuisine and good portion sizes are served. The momos as starters and some delicious bhindi bhaji are worth ordering. Being Indians ouselves, we rarely ever go out 'for an Indian'. This place has become our favourite restaurant in Malvern. As for the staff, Shriyanka is always there to welcome you with a smile.

I want to massively thank Lucy and the team, for the most memorable evening. We chose this venue for our vow renewal. Lucy was with us every moment for any questions I had, changing the times, or meal plan she was there. Unfortunately due to the great British weather the event that was supposed to be outside was changed to inside but Lucy and the team were fantastic, with a quick room change from ceremony to dining it was just perfect. Plenty of food for everyone and loads of alcohol so guests were happy. If you want the perfect venue for event, this is it!! It honestly was the most memorable night and still smiling now when I think of it. 💗💗

My partner and I booked a table for a pre-theatre visit to Malvern. We were greeted warmly on arrival and sat at a table. We were asked if we were going to the theatre, just so the staff could keep an eye on the time. Wonderful service with very pleasant staff. The restaurant itself is clean and well-organized. The starter arrived quickly which were very tasty tortilla chips, with probably the best guacamole I have ever tasted. Many tapas plates followed which were all lovely. All served piping hot and all done just in time to walk across the road to see our film. Perfect. Thanks to all at Bar Limon.

The menu is a little confusing but the staff are excellent at describing the options. The food is really good value and full of flavour. It is a enjoyable experience to eat here.

Really lovely independent restaurant. Great service, well cooked food with a great choice for veggies. Great mix of Spanish/Mexican food (shout out for the goats cheese croquetas! ). A treat! Warm and busy atmosphere on a

Really liked this place for a few reasons: firstly the kitchen closes a bit later than some of the other nearby restaurant, secondly the service is good and fast and lastly (of course) the food is great. It’s quite filling so don’t get carried away. Decent terrace outside. They also have a good non alcoholic cocktail that wasn’t too sweet. This was an unexpected but good find, when I am back in the area I will look for it again.

Always good food, friendly service from, yes, YOUNG staff (the fact that they're young seems to be an issue for a few reviews!) in a busy, buzzy atmosphere. As a one-off, owner-run eatery, it's a delightful change from predictable, production line chains that predominate. Enjoy it, Malvern, you're lucky to have it.

good atmosphere, very helpful staff, didn't rush us despite Saturday evening and busy . The food wasn't perfect, but my vegetarian dish was very tasty, and for the price (£55 for 4 people) it was very good value for money. Recommended, and I'll be returning.

Nestled in the picturesque heart of Great Malvern, the Mulberry Tree Restaurant & Bar offers a delightful dining experience that perfectly complements its stunning surroundings. Located within the Mount Pleasant hotel, this charming eatery boasts breathtaking views of the historic Priory and the scenic Vale of Evesham. The ambiance is inviting and relaxed, reflecting its Georgian townhouse heritage. Whether you're stopping by for lunch, dinner, or dessert, you can expect a menu filled with delicious food and drink options that celebrate local flavors.
My daughter took me to the Mulberry Tree for my birthday. I have to say it was exceptional, from the moment we walked in. Service first class, food excellent, atmosphere great. Would highly recommend to anyone thinking about going. Will definitely go back.

Came here with my other half. The food was lovely and the staff were friendly. Quite surprised with the burger as although it was small, it was quite filling. Definitely quality over quantity. The rum old fashioned was a disaster though, very cheaply made while being quite expensive. Recommend coming here, just avoid that cocktail 😅

The hotel bedrooms that we were in was fantastic. Shower was great. Very lovely place to visit and beautiful views. Well worth a visit.

We recently visited this restaurant, having always admired how smart and welcoming it looked from the outside. We assumed the menu would reflect the same sense of quality and were really looking forward to sharing the experience with friends who were visiting for the weekend. Unfortunately, our meal did not quite live up to expectations. While the prices suggested a high standard of dining, we felt the food itself fell short. Portion sizes were noticeably small, and a few details stood out as disappointing. For example, £4.50 for a single slice of garlic bread served on a small bed of rocket seemed excessive, particularly as the bread appeared to have been frozen. Similarly, the description of “artisan bread” felt misleading when what arrived was closer to a lightly toasted slice of supermarket loaf. We completely appreciate that dining out involves more than just generous portions, and we value attention to detail and presentation. However, given the pricing, we had hoped for something more aligned with the impression the restaurant conveys. We truly wanted to enjoy and recommend this as a local highlight, but on this occasion we left feeling a little underwhelmed.

Came here for a Sunday roast while visiting Great Malvern. I was excited, as the Mulberry Tree was highly rated. However, unfortunately the experience was very disappointing. The atmosphere felt quite soulless, service slow (though servers were at least friendly), and the food poorly prepared. I won’t be going back, and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone visiting.
Archie B — Google review
A very pleasant place, but my chicken was underwhelming. Although we waited for ages, no one asked us if we wanted a desert or a cup of tea after the main course. It felt as though we were invisible. Fortunately Malvern has plenty of good coffee/tea shops, so we went elsewhere.
Jeremy W — Google review
Had Sunday lunch here today as part of our anniversary weekend away. Unfortunately the lunch was possibly the worst plates of food we have been served in a very long time. We had the bread selection and chicken liver pate to start. The bread all seemed store bought and I’m pretty certain some of it was Hovis with the crusts cut off. The Sunday lunch itself was just bad. The meat was over cooked and chewy, the gravy thin with discernible granules, the Yorkshire pudding Aunt Bessie’s finest, the roast potatoes undercooked, the cauliflower cheese without cheese… The only actually tasty bit was the braised cabbage. If I were being generous I would say that the chef was ill and front of house staff were trying their best to cover. It might also explain why their service was so bad. I never did get my horseradish.
Daniel S — Google review
The food and service were great. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was because we were a little rushed when we were told that the kitchen closed at 8pm giving us 20 minutes.

Pub
Beer garden
The Yew Tree in Conderton is a fortunate discovery, randomly chosen for an evening meal. It has become a beloved destination due to its charming ambiance and cordial staff. The pub seamlessly combines rustic and modern elements, with tasteful decorations and careful maintenance. While waiting for our table, we enjoyed drinks at the bar beneath the low beams, which require caution. The pork belly main dish and chocolate brownie dessert were both delightful and each mouthful was full of flavor.
Tranquil location in a remote village, excellent pub with a beer garden out the back, added bonus personally is they have gluten free options on their menu, remarkable for such a small town! Had the fish and chips with onion rings and mushy peas and couldn’t have been more impressed, I highly suggest stopping by if you’re around the Cotswolds

A great hidden gem in a beautiful village setting. Amazing food at reasonable prices. Friendly staff and fast service. Highly recommended.
Paul H — Google review
When you go and stay in a rural village you are reliant on the local pub being friendly, serve good food & drink and an atmosphere to relax and enjoy. Thankfully, as we stayed next door, this is a place that does it all very well. An excellent and extensive menu that made it difficult to choose just one and customer service above and beyond. We went for steak pie & katsu curry if it helps you to narrow down your decision, my stomach is rumbling just thinking about it now.

Simply amazing! Some of the best food I have had the pleasure of eating. Good portion sizes, well presented and cooked to perfection. The staff were very polite and attentive which helped provide a lovely atmosphere. We will plan another holiday up this way in the future for the sole reason of being able to eat here again we enjoyed it that much. The only downside is the lack of parking, particularly if you have a full size SUV so arrive early as you may have to search down the really narrow lanes before you get lucky.
Pete S — Google review
Lovely, quaint, traditional family pub with exceptionally friendly staff. The atmosphere is spot on for a that Cotswold vibe.

This is an absolute gem of a pub with a proper food menu, courteous and considerate staff, good seating options, a nice beer garden - and overall a terrific place to spend an afternoon. Even though our group was delayed there was no concern about the booking and the general feeling was one of relaxation. Excellent!

Well on a holiday, We went to The Yew Tree on GREAT REVIEWS. Well was SO disappointed. Bar lady with blonde hair in her 40ish was not welcoming at all no smile and was drinking White Wine while working. The roast beef was presented to use then 10 minutes later the vegetables and 5 minutes the gravy arrived,we asked for horseradish, salt pepper which was another 5 minutes. The roast was cold. The meal was outstanding,if was warm,l would like to say great chef..The young girls was working hard.

Lovely pub. The inside has had a spruce up in recent years and looks great, despite being quite small. Great food, and drinks are very reasonably priced. I think it might be. Butcombe owned pub, now. The beer garden used to be quite special at The Yew Tree, but jts looking a bit tired now. Still a nice spot for a beer in the sun though.

Herefordshire Beacon, located on the Malvern Hills, offers a beautiful panoramic view of Malvern and neighboring areas in Herefordshire. The site features an Iron Age Hill Fort and is a great starting point for walking the length of the Malvern ridge. Accessible from British Camp car park, it provides great views of the Seven Valley and is not too challenging to reach. It's a popular spot for hikers, offering amazing vistas and an excellent walking experience.
Great views of the Seven Valley and it is not too onerous to get here. It makes a good start to walk the length of the Malvern ridge.
John J — Google review
I've never been there,in fact, I've never been across the pond. However, this place caught my eye back in 1987 or '88 when I read Hans Holzer's fascinating book "The Great British Ghost Hunt". Holzer mistakenly mentions the Herefordshire beacon as the Hereford beacon in the chapter "The countryside is full of ghosts". I'd like to quote Holzer here: But the most chilling episode in her unusual life happened while she was still a little girl, living at Gloucester House, Malvern Wells, about a mile from her aunt. Not far from there is an artificial hill called the British Camp, also known as the Hereford Beacon. It is situated on the main road from Malvern to Ledbury and is one of the higher hills in the area. The summit of it is terraced and is, in fact, part of the old Roman earthworks which were built in this area. “I had a very fiery French governess named Chevalier. One afternoon we were walking on the Hereford Beacon and sat down to rest. I remember clearly the sound of sheep cropping the grass and that wonderful scent of juniper. Suddenly I heard the tramping of feet that grew heavier, and over the Malvern Hills to the Beacon came a long line of men marching. We were on the east side of the hill, looking down over the reservoir toward Eastnor Park. There were hundreds of men, some mounted cavalry with a standard-bearer and the rest foot soldiers. I was only six at the time and had not yet started history. The men wore what to me looked like skirts, but there were helmets with plumes and a standard-bearer with a huge bronze-colored eagle. I called to Mademoiselle to hurry and get out of the way and dragged her to one side. She was naturally very shaken, but the men vanished as they reached a certain point of the Beacon. I was fascinated but not afraid, as they seemed quite real. I was sure that we would be walked into, since they marched without breaking line or seeming to give way. But Mademoiselle did not see them. She yanked me home to my aunt’s, and I was considered to be ill and was put to bed with aspirin.” Mrs. Warren-Browne’s family is Roman Catholic, and the entire area around Malvern is one of the strongholds of English Catholicism. Evidently the family had discussed her strange behavior with a friendly priest, Dom Rodger Huddleston, of a distinguished Roman Catholic family. The following morning, Father Huddleston came to see the little girl. “As we sat in the garden he talked to me quite casually about what I had seen,” Catherine recalls, “and he told me I must have seen ‘a picture in time,’ for the Roman legions fought a big battle against the Britons and Saxons in this area. He also told me that Cerdic, the Saxon leader, was often seen riding when war was about to break out, and that many people in the area had actually seen him.” (As told by Elizabeth Warren-Brown to Hans Holzer)

The Malvern Hills GeoCentre is a visitor center with excellent customer service and a brilliant experience for those who have to cope with restrictions within a care home. They have a basic food menu but acceptable coffee and tea, which is great for those who need something to help them stay positive during lockdown. Overall, this visitor center is fantastic for anyone looking for support during a difficult time.

Alan did a wonderful job restoring a painting passed down to me by my grandad. Being sentimental to me I was very careful who I chose to restore the piece. The original artwork store was the perfect choice. Great service, fantastic restoration, professional advice. I will be using Alan again in the future.
Thomas W — Google review
Alan restored a 100 year old family painting which had been ingrained with years of smoke from tobacco and coal/wood fires. From the very first contact Alan was informative and very clear about the work needed and the cost/time it would take. I was prepared to wait the anticipated 3yrs but surprised when it was finished earlier. The finished result is so good all the colours jump out of the picture. My great great grandad who painted the picture was a real amateur who painted for fun but Alan has now given us a picture that will hopefully be in the family for another 100 years. A truly talented man.
Eileen G — Google review
Alan is hugely knowledgeable and very skilled. I asked him his view on what needed to be done to conserve a much-loved 300 year old Dutch portrait that had become rather tired. I very much enjoyed the preliminary sleuthing Alan did with his UV light, which revealed a lot of interesting detail about the physical history of the picture. We considered in detail the best way forward, and he and I agreed that minimal conservation would be sufficient and would best preserve the picture’s “story”. He cleaned the picture and repaired bits where necessary, and the result was stunning. All the colours and detail came to life, without making the picture seem ‘restored’. He also revived the gilded intricate wooden frame, but then ‘aged’ it so that it was not too shiny. Overall, he managed to achieve a very sensitive restoration, with which I was delighted, and might I add, he did this for a very reasonable price. He told me it would take him a few months because he was busy, and it did, but the wait was certainly worth it, and anyway, who wants a speedy restoration?! I cannot recommend Alan highly enough.
David — Google review
Alan did an absolutely fantastic job on cleaning up a painting that had a lot of sentimental value to us. It was a painting my late wife had done but in one of her many redecorating urges, she had taken the painting down and (unbeknown to us) stored it in the garage unprotected. There it had got bent, dirty and had mould on it. Alan cleaned it up, touching parts up where needed and reframed it, and it now looks exactly as we remember it when it was up on the wall. Thank you for a first rate job.
Gavin B — Google review
Alan restored a very old and much loved oil painting and frame which had fallen off the wall and suffered significant damage including a rip in the canvas. The result was extraordinary and the painting looks fabulous......really glad we found him!! Price was reasonable and Alan was a pleasure to deal with. Would highly recommend.
David N — Google review
We are absolutely delighted with Alan’s restoration of our large portrait and original old frame which needed a great deal of work. It has been done with expertise and sensitivity and looks amazing. We would thoroughly recommend Alan and it was definitely well worth staying on the waiting list. Thank you Alan both for your work and care and also for your interest in our inherited painting and its likely history. Margaret and Andy
Margaret G — Google review
Alan has just cleaned an oil painting that has great sentimental value to me. He managed to fit the work into his busy schedule and has done an amazing job. The picture has been truly brought back to life and has been re-stretched nicely into its frame. Can't recommend Alan's work highly enough. I am delighted.
Jenny M — Google review
I am so impressed with the way Alan has restored my painting. It had been mistreated for many years and had some bad scuff marks and water damage. Alan removed the old varnish, removed the badly done over-painting, filled and touched up where needed and re-varnished. He also sensitively restored the frame. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend his services.

During my recent exploration of a charming Victorian station, I stumbled upon "The Technology Station," a fascinating museum dedicated to the evolution of radar and other cutting-edge technologies that originated in Malvern at a once-secret facility. The couple overseeing the museum were not only welcoming but also incredibly well-informed, having firsthand experience working on these groundbreaking projects. Their passion for the subject made my visit even more enriching.
Found this little gem of a museum by accident today while visiting the grade 1 Victorian station. A very well put together history of the development of the Radar (& later more modern technologies) that were developed in Malvern at a top secret site. the couple who were "Manning the Station" were delightful, friendly and incredibly knowledgeable as they had both worked on the site. I could not recommend this attraction highly enough. Check the opening times first, as they are limited, before visiting.

Mediterranean restaurant
The Fig Kitchen and Deli in Great Malvern has become a popular spot for both locals and visitors. Situated on Church Street, the restaurant offers an intimate outdoor dining area shaded by a beautiful fig tree. The menu features a variety of small plates, including their signature burger available in beef and vegan options. Customers rave about the mushroom linguine, which is described as "NEXT LEVEL" with a delightful array of gourmet mushrooms.
Grew up in Worcester and spent a lot of my childhood in Malvern however I’ve been Liverpool based for the last decade. My partner and I were down visiting family for a few days so I was desperate to take him to explore the hills and the town as it’s very different to where we live now. After a gorgeous mini hike we were starving but wanted to find a local independent that we couldn’t have at home and we absolutely hit the jack pot when we came across the fig. The sun was shining so we opted to sit outside and the two women working (sorry we couldn’t catch your names) were so genuinely friendly from to get go. The outside area was so pretty with just the right amount of sun and shade without feeling chilly or uncomfortable. We chose the Fig breakfast which is served all day and it was arguably one of the best breakfasts we’ve ever had, if not the best. We tend to go out for breakfast more than dinner due to our working patterns so we’ve tried many a full English but this one is an absolutely must. The food was so fresh and every item just full of flavour. We both work in hospitality/retail so we’re no stranger to what good customer service looks like and my hat goes off to the staff here because they were just so lovely from the get go. The final bill was very very reasonable for what we paid and we both agreed after one or two mouthfuls that we will 100% be back next time we’re down this way. Thank you for a lovely end to our fab day exploring the hills!

I rarely have an experience which truly deserves a 5 star rating but The Fig is one of those rarities. I have eaten lunch at The Fig three times over the last four weeks so I can say with certainty that anyone visiting will not be disappointed. The restaurant has three areas to choose from including a sheltered outdoor area. The variety of the menu is excellent. Personally, I think an indicator of good food at a restaurant is the quality of its side salad. The Fig nails it with a beautifully presented, colourful and tasty mix of all the things we expect in a healthy side dish. For the main course, I couldn't pull myself away from the fish dishes, which were perfectly cooked and clearly made with fresh ingredients. The service deserves 6 stars; I can't remember the last time I had such a consistently efficient, friendly and helpful group of staff. Thank you all for your hard work and cheerfulness, you are leaving the competition flailing in your wake.
Simon D — Google review
Food was excellent and is worth the restaurant prices, along with the great service, however this is just a cafe environment; not particularly warm - many of our party were cold, not overly comfortable chairs and a normal busy cafe feeling. I did object to paying £5.95 for a pint of lime and lemonade (£1.20 just for a shot of lime cordial!) which is absolutely ridiculous- the staff took off the £1.20. In summary; love the food and service but feel the environment needs to match the price expectations.

Really lovely little restaurant/deli/coffee shop in Malvern. We stopped here for a bit of lunch and were really impressed. We are outside under the cover in their courtyard with heaters and enjoyed a really nice brunch. Good menu, great quality and good service too. Would definitely recommend

Pleasant setting just off the high street (B4211), at a secluded outside table. Fish and Chips excellent, though some might feel there was too much batter). Not a wide choice of desserts, but no quibbles with Sticky Toffee Pudding or Biscoff Cheesecake, while coffees came in pleasantly large cups. Service attentive and unobtrusive. Anyone wanting an informal sit-down meal in the centre of Malvern could hardly do better.

We had lunch at The Fig today to celebrate my Birthday and it was wonderful. Excellent food, friendly service and a lovely setting sitting outside in the pretty court yard. First time we’d tried The Fig and we definitely plan to return. Thanks for my Birthday brownie & sparkler, a lovely touch which was the finishing touch to a lovely experience.
Ilona A — Google review
I cannot praise this place enough. I come to the Fig whenever I can and every time it is a memorable and delightful experience. The other week I came with my family, a group of 12. We called up an hour before or something silly and still they found space to accommodate us. They warned us there would be a wait for food but I didn't feel it at all. Food as always was absolutely delicious, the kitchen deserves the world honestly. Ella and Tilly (sorry if names are misspelt) were our servers and they were amazing. Dealing with a large family with 12 different orders and adjustments to them couldn't have been easy but they pulled through and did everything perfectly. So friendly, so polite, so welcoming. With all that said, it still isn't nearly enough praise for the workers at the Fig. You will not find a better restaurant in Malvern.

If you find yourself in Malvern, make sure to stop by Hillbilly's Street Kitchen for a delightful culinary experience. This charming eatery welcomes guests with warmth and friendliness, ensuring a pleasant dining atmosphere. The menu boasts an array of mouthwatering options, including the highly praised Bullseye burger—an absolute favorite among patrons for its juicy flavor and perfectly toasted bun. The Katsu chicken loaded fries are another standout dish, offering generous portions that are both delicious and satisfying.
Wow what a find!! We were in Malvern for a couple of days and thought we would give Hillbilly’s Street Kitchen a try. We were greeted in a warm and friendly manner and offered a table. We placed our order and only had a very short wait for our food. The food was outstanding. My husband had the Bullseye burger and said it was the best burger he had eaten! I had the Katsu chicken loaded fries, they were so good and such a big portion too. I would 100% recommend a visit if you are passing, all the food looks amazing and a great choice of dishes on the menu, you won’t be disappointed.

We ordered in store. Really nice and polite staff, made our food quick and were super friendly. The burgers were amazing, tasty and juicy. We also loved the fries and the dips. Will definitely be back next time!!!

Having ordered 2 x burgers and the buffalo wings that come blue cheese dip when the food arrived we had no sauce with the buffalo wings, when I asked about this we were told they had ran out of the blue cheese dip and we were not offered a replacement of the sauce nor were we told about you being out of stock of the cheese dip. I then asked if we could get another sauce to go with the buffalo wings and asked for a bbq sauce but we were told we would have had to pay extra for this sauce as it is home made, whereas in my eyes we should have firstly been told about you being out of stock of the dip to begin with and should have been offered a replacement sauce free of charge. When we started eating the wings we noticed they were raw and we said to the staff working and showed them. The staff member then said the wings do bleed but to me they were raw. We then asked for a refund as we didn’t have time to wait for others to be recooked to which she then asked did we only want a refund because we didn’t have any cheese dip with the wings which I felt was a bit rude because the wings were clearly raw. Have ordered food from here plenty of times and had problems with waiting for the food for a long time but this will be our last time we come here.

Great burger, crispy toasted bun, two beef patties with melted cheese. Is it worth the visit and money. Yes and yes. Although I wouldn't go there everyday or weekly. It's worth a visit now and again. Working in the area and came to try it out. Clean and tidy place. With rustic wooden furniture.

Food was very nice but was incredibly overpriced. £40 for 2 burgers and brisket fries. They said a 25 minute wait which ended up being an hour wait so we almost missed our train home. They care more about getting delivery orders out on time rather than people sat inside. Food was very good though.
BM — Google review
10/10, couldn't fault it. We ordered delivery, and were blown away by the care that had gone into making sure the food arrived hot and great quality. Even the loaded burgers arrived stacked up as if just brought out from the kitchen! Flavours were fantastic, the fries were perfectly thin & crispy - just really really good food! Thank you for putting such effort into the quality of the delivery orders 😊🙌

We went with high hopes to the mobile van at Malvern Winter Gardens but were sorely disappointed. The burgers were tiny and totally forgettable. The patty started life as a small, golf ball sized sphere which was squashed down to about 5mm thickness and slapped in a cheap brioche bun with some salad. Yours for £9.50. Wont be going back.

Fish and chips takeaway
Fast food restaurant
Nestled in the charming town of Malvern, Barnards Green Fish Bar is a delightful spot for those craving classic fish and chips. This beloved eatery has garnered attention for its delicious offerings and reliable service. Diners rave about the timely delivery of their orders, ensuring that every meal arrives hot and ready to enjoy.
Amazing Gluten Free fish and chips. Phone through the order, and only waiting a few minutes to receive. Great understanding of coeliac so good has separate fryer, uses different utensils and placed in boxes in a separate area. They didn’t have GF vinegar, but did sell it, and wasn’t overpriced.
Kookie S — Google review
7 pm on a Friday, paid £4 (yes, £4!!) for regular chips and £6.40 for a small cod. The chips were lukewarm, hard and dry, mainly small bits of spud. Hungry, I managed to eat only 50 percent - the rest were inedible and would crack your teeth. So that was value for money, not. On seeing other reviews here, this is not an isolated event. Quite obviously I was given dinner-time's frying warmed up in the evening. Why would you do that?? You are happy to destroy your reputation for the sake of recycling a couple of quid's worth of potatoes? How stupid. This chippy used to be the best, so what has happened?? Very, very disappointing. Oh the fish was ok .. just. Don't tell me that I should have returned to complain, spending my petrol money to do that would be daft. Your mistake, repeated over and over it would appear. Never again.

Excellent new special, salt and chilli chips with the chicken. Very nice. Great to see something a bit different.
James P — Google review
Small cod and small chips all a good size however I found the chips very dry and the cod just fell apart into very small bits, very mushy and dry and it had no flavour. A little bit disappointed. I have had better fish from here. Very busy but the staff work hard and you soon move in the queue.
Country G — Google review
Lovely fish and chips but such a huge portion of chips it was daunting. 2 med fish , 1 small ! chips ,curry sauce and peas was over £30 , by far the most expensive we’ve had anywhere in the country on our caravan travels
Vivien L — Google review
Very disappointed with our fish and chips. The chips were pale and stuck together and the fish was so over trimmed it was a strange cylindrical shape. Tasteless, unremarkable fish and chips, but the worst thing was the price - £25 for 2 fish and chips! Maybe wouldn't have minded paying so much if they had tasted better.
Janice E — Google review
Just bought two mini fish and chips both bits of fish was dry and greasy chips tasted powdery and hard so I will not be going there again. Should have go to three counties fish bar and get better fish and chips.regards Trevor

Never had such hard work trying to order chips.. obviously a new member of staff but come on guys train your staff and let them know to keep there attitude in check when dealing with customers at the very least! The pic shown is a large chicken and chips and you will see the lack of chicken and the chips for that matter in the pic. £8.70 for child's portions. Extremely inconsistent place.

The Malvern Hills Hotel & Restaurants is an elegant establishment that offers stylish accommodations in a luxurious setting. The hotel features country-style rooms, and guests can enjoy the convenience of a glass-enclosed restaurant and a lounge bar. Located in an upmarket area, this hotel provides breathtaking views of the surrounding areas including Herefordshire, Wales, Gloucestershire, Worcestershire, and even Oxfordshire if you look carefully.
I can only comment on the restaurant as I did not stay at the hotel but the service was impeccable, friendly and attentative. We decided to get a roast on Easter Sunday which I was expecting them to be fully booked not only were we told the lay out and how to order, the barmen made conversion and had an a super attitude about him. I forgot to grab his name bit he was lovely. We ordered 2 half chicken roasts and a pie of the day and it was worth every penny. Quality ingredients with really decent sized portions. Just what I needed after trekking the hills! Highly recommend and I will definitely be back.

Popped in for a drink on both walking days we had in the area. Staff are very friendly and open to walkers - filled our water bottles without question and even offered to add some ice with the heat! Although an up market pub we never felt uncomfortable or out of place in our walking gear. Perfect location and lovely atmosphere on a busy weekend
Elise W — Google review
I can't actually comment on the rooms as we only stopped for coffee after our walk. The service was fast, friendly, and they made sure the dogs had water too, very accommodating. It's perfectly placed for a post hike coffee, beer, or roast dinner. I can't fault it. 5*
Prestige N — Google review
I'm sorry to say but it was the worst roast dinner I have ever had out. Neither the potatoes, carrot or parsnip were cooked. Absolutely no seasoning at all, no flavour whatsoever! The gravy was just brown water, even the cottage cheese tasted like water. The lamb was what you'd expect to find in a hospital dinner and all 6 of our roasts were like that. And charged at £20 per roast is a disgrace.
Lu F — Google review
Popped in for a birthday lunch. Lovely setting but food was very disappointing (at £31 for a 10 Oz sirloin steak, you'd expect a much nicer meal). On another day I'd have sent our food back and eaten elsewhere.
Olli M — Google review
We stayed in a family room, beautiful decorated, unfortunately the bed design with an edge-around for two under 5ft small people keep getting tripped or worse a nice bruise every time we forget about the edges. Bed was also too soft room 307. Service was immaculate during our stay, upon check out was less friendly. Location was incredible - would stay again.

Gorgeous pub in beautiful area . Staff were very friendly and helpful. We only stopped for drinks ,and I was expecting drinks to be overpriced, but I was very happy to say that they weren't. The food looked gorgeous too .
Sally P — Google review
The gluten free 'baguette' option was substituting actual baguettes with white sliced bread with almost no filling. This was not communicated at the bar. Bread was hard and stale around the edges and obviously old/previously frozen. Given the total ingredient cost on that plate was somewhere between £1-£1.50 the charged amount of over £10 was not what was justified. Apart from the polite staff there is no incentive to return here.

Old Court Nurseries & Picton Garden is a charming destination for plant and gardening enthusiasts, housing the RHS collection of Michealmas Daisies. This picturesque site is open from August to October when the Asters are in full bloom. Despite its proximity to a main road, the garden offers a peaceful and serene atmosphere. Visitors can explore delightful pathways that provide an insight into a well-maintained working garden. Admission is reasonably priced at 3.
Looking for gardens to visit we saw this advertised and turned up at opening time 11.00. Received warm friendly greeting from staff. It's just £5 each (or 2 for 1 with Gardener's World card). Really impressed with the gardens there's so much to see we spent about 2 hours slowly taking it all in and there are several benches to sit and rest on - a great variety of plants also in the sales area including some unusual looking succulents. Prices seem quite reasonable. In case anyone is wondering there was no tearoom. Would love to come back if we've over this way again.
Dawn P — Google review
A beautiful and well maintained garden! We paid £6 to enter and also had a RHS card, so free to go. We bought our dog with us and she enjoyed wandering around the paths with us. There were plenty of flowers blooming and a riot of colours everywhere! We perched on some of the benches to stop and look at the flowers! It’s so peaceful and there was something different to look at, at each turn. There’s no toilet or catering facilities. The nursery had a great selection of plants for sale!!
Elisa W — Google review
An exquisite plantsman's garden with adjacent nursery. They host the National Collection of Michaelmas Daisies, which were at their absolute best during our visit in mid-September. The gardens are densely planted with so many interesting plants. The visit was a joy.
Ian T — Google review
Visiting during a holiday in the area in June and fairly keen gardeners, we had to pop in and have a look around while we were here. This is an interesting nursery and garden with an entrance fee of £5 a person to have a look round the garden. I've added a few photos and we found the variety of plants really interesting. If you are a gardener it is worthwhile visiting. A friendly word from the woman in the nursery, when we arrived too. A good welcome and but for a long journey home and a few days before we left, we decided not to buy any plants (for once) though we're tempted.

A nice small garden in Herefordshire overlooking the Malvern Hills. We had mixed weather end of the summer, some rain. But when the sun came out, so did the bees and butterflies etc. No café here, but was one down the road in Colwall Stone. The toilet in the small building behind the barbecue area. Nice and clean.

Small hike of 20 minutes from car park. Great views & can spend easily an hour here as a tourist. If you are a hiker, it has a link of 3 hills connecting each other so you can hike around 2.5 miles in total around all hills.

Plenty of car parking around the hills. Many paths of various grades that crisscross the hills to get you to the summit. Views are well worth it. There is aka path that goes along the ridge between the hills. Well worth a visit if in the area.

Had a fun climb up here, there are many different pathways you can take to get up to the beacon, and on the way the view gets better and better. Had a big load of fun climbing this hill! When you get to the top there is a sign to show you you have reached the summit and tells you the height of the hill and there is a giant map and compass to show you what you’re looking at. You can see wales from this hill! You can’t beat climbing a hill, admiring the view and eating lunch while looking off into the distance. There’s a good bit of wind even on a scorcher because you’re at the top of a hill too. Would recommend those who can to climb this hill.

Steep walk up to the well. Tarmac path through the trees is in good order. Disappointingly the room the well is in needs some significant refurbishment. Instead of just locking the wrought iron gate, the well is barricaded behind ugly blue plastic fencing, so it can't be clearly seen. Just take out the plastic stuff! Cafe only open Fri, Sat and Sun.

The Malvern Museum, located in a 15th-century brick gatehouse that was once the gateway to the Benedictine Priory of Great Malvern, offers a captivating journey through the town's history. The museum showcases local-history exhibits and artifacts, providing insights into various aspects such as the geological origins of Malvern, wartime life, and the Victorian era. Despite its relatively small space, it houses a diverse collection that covers medieval history and more.

I reckon it's possible to have a butcher's at everything in Malvern museum in less than two minutes. It's a teeny weeny place, only four small rooms with exhibits. Normally two and a half quid to get in, which is more than acceptable as it's the only money it gets to survive. For some reason Saturday is freebie day. Nice geezer at reception, he knew his stuff and spoke enthusiastically about the contents of each room. Only three stars? Sorry, I've gone back to comparisons with the Ashmolean. Worth a visit if it's raining outside, which it was. The roof doesn't leak.

Very nice hotel, clear intention and desire for it to be beautifully decorated and of high quality, it does have that feel to it, and overall is very nice. Bar/restaurant areas really very nice. Hotel areas reception/routes to rooms/rooms themselves, do require some touching up (may be being picky, and maybe not been decorated very recently), such as wall and woodwork finishes. The furniture throught including the rooms, and the bathroom fixtures/fittings in the rooms, are all very nice quality. Carpeting throughout very nice quality. To sum up very nice, with more attention to upkeep of paintwork and the such, could be fantastic. We'd stay here again. Overall 4 out of 5.

Great location in Malvern the hotel reception staff were really helpful even showing me where my room was located. I had an evening meal in the Mulberry Restaurant which was excellent (really hot many restaurants serve up warm food) Breakfast was again excellent and the staff in the evening and morning wore very friendly and efficient. I cannot complain about the room as its size is restricted by the fact it’s a very old building. The en-suite was more than adequate with a good shower. I must add the bed was really comfortable as were the pillows.

Café Morso Colwall is a delightful little coffee shop that you might stumble upon while exploring the picturesque Malvern Hills. Although I missed out on breakfast, I was pleasantly surprised by the delicious burger I ordered. The friendly staff made my visit even more enjoyable, and they were particularly welcoming to my furry companion—a definite perk! Despite ordering breakfast from the menu at 12:01 ( breakfast was stopped being served at 12pm) we could no longer order anything from the breakfast menu. Ok, I suppose they have to have some cut off point but by literally 1 minute?! . Anyway that wouldn’t have been so bad had it not been for the almost 40 minute wait for four dishes to arrive, two of them being served 10 minutes before the other 2 people in the group. Lunch was ok, but that was about it, standard really. Good coffee and hot chocolate on the plus side but not returning there in any hurry.

For a touristy village coffee shop, this place should be top notch for cleanliness. However, it's very dirty from the floor to the ceiling including the tables. The service is brilliant and the coffee was good but the cleanliness needs a lot of work.

Thai restaurant
Thai Rama is a popular Thai restaurant known for its authentic taste and fine seasonal ingredients. The restaurant offers a Sunday buffet that attracts many visitors due to its variety of flavors. Customers praise the nice ambiance, with some mentioning that it feels like being in Thailand. The portions are generous, and the menu includes dishes like glass noodles, sweet and sour monkfish, spicy sea bass, sticky rice, Thai egg fried rice, and lamb massaman curry.
Fantastic Food and the service was impeccable. The decor was stunning and gave a very authentic vibe. Would highly recommend

Good food but limited menu, and it was missing my fav Thai dishes. The sharing plates are great.

First time visit but definitely will be back. Didn't book and was welcomed and accommodated with a table no problem. The service was outstanding and the food, probably the best I've had in a long time. Great tastes, not fancy, just a really good Thai restaurant. The banquet looks fantastic, but I would recommend the Thai starters and two mains. Cost just shy of £80 with a bottle of Thai white wine. Excellent.

It’s my second time at Thai Rama after last year when we visited Malvern. We had to go back again this year as the food and service we received from Preme and her husband were outstanding! We had food from a set menu this time and we couldn’t enjoy it more, and I’m Thai, strongly recommend.

What a gem! We hadn't been here before. The restaurant is really lovely inside. The staff were friendly and allowed us plenty of time to choose from the menu. We had prawn crackers, a starter and main and it was all absalutely delicious. The dishes came beautifully decorated with carved vegetable flowers which just added to the whole enjoyable experience. I'd really recommend eating here.

This place is amazing! I'm not sure which was better, the food or the service. We had Set Menu A but swapped the rice for sticky rice which was so sticky and perfect! There was plenty of food in the Set Menu and even little desserts, everything we had was delicious. The owners are very sweet, bubbly and full of joy - they couldn't do enough to help. Also the room is full of carved wooden tables and decorations, and even a Koi pond! Wonderful experience, can't wait to come back.

Very nice food, went on a Sunday for the all you can eat and the many different choices were amazing.

dont like making harsh reviews but found the food to be dissapointing, basic and same sauces being used for different dishes, i feel that the owners might not be pushing for quality and become a little stail. for 2 of us with 2 strters 2 mains and 3 small bottles of beer was just shy of £60 which is steep for the quality, my partner was also ill after the meal. not impressed and wont be returning.
