Amazing City, outstanding perspectives and views from the city walls. I learnt about Palmanova thanks to a famous Italian TV series and the internet, but visited it thanks to a famous Music Competition Festival I attended. I can confirm that visiting it gives you a great emotion. Visitors can experience guided tours walking in the peripheral areas and through ancient galleries build in the 17th century to defend the City Fortress! A must do, in the Veneto region.

Palmanova was a very interesting place to visit. Only a 45 min drive from Cavallino. It is an old venician fortification town. We visited during siesta so it was very quiet. We sat in a cafe by the main centre and had drinks. Well worth a visit to this extraordinary place.

An absolutely fabulous bar in a historic city and location. Excellent small plates, sweets, and coffee. And friendly and obliging staff. A treat.

Omg it was sooo delicious!!! We had starters, pasta and desert and everything was fresh, super tasty and good portions too ✨ All waitress were really nice and they all spoke English. The atmosphere was relax, cozy and it felt like being home. It’s also full of veg options. Highly recommended 🙏🏻

🍕 Pizza in Palmanova – Diavolo & Pizzica While wandering around Palmanova, we stopped for pizza and tried two different ones: the Diavolo and the Pizzica — and both were seriously good, in totally different ways. Diavolo If you like a bit of heat, the Diavolo is your friend. It had that classic spicy salami kick, with a lovely crispy base and just enough cheese to keep things gooey without going overboard. The chili oil gave it a real punch, but it wasn’t just spicy for the sake of it — the flavours were actually well balanced. We’d definitely order this one again. 🧡 Spicy, satisfying, and full of flavour. Pizzica This one was more subtle, but maybe even better. Super fresh flavours — think cheesey, hot salami, green olives and anchovies. It tasted like something straight out of northern Italy, light but still really satisfying. 💚 Fresh, rustic, and packed with Mediterranean vibes. If you’re in Palmanova and feel like pizza, you won’t go wrong with either of these. The Diavolo is bold, the Pizzica is more rustic — but both are absolutely worth trying.
