Parc Natural de la Serra Gelada is a stunning conservation area that covers 13,750 acres and offers a mix of mountain and marine landscapes. The park features towering cliffs that rise over 400 meters above sea level, providing breathtaking views of Costa Blanca. Visitors can explore the area by hiking along well-maintained trails or by taking a boat to appreciate the coastal beauty.
Absolutely breathtaking views on this walk. Nice and easy from the free car park too and toilets there if needed.

This was a medium level hikes with multiple descents fairly steep. Good footwear a must. Beautiful sights, well marked, took over 4 hours. Not suitable for young kids.
C E — Google review
Great scenic walking area. People walk, bike, and run on the trails.
Bob P — Google review
On holiday and definitely worth the walk. Great view for how easily accessible it is. The main road is relaxed walking and the outlooks post, may require some more effort. Overall id say it is accessible for beginners as well. I was however disappointed that it seemed there were more tracks but its basically just one road to the lighthouse and back. If you’re looking for challenge, this isn’t it, but dont deny yourself the view: Seeing as my apartment was only 15min walk away, I have no regrets. Minus one star for not offering a more variety in main paths. <tip> you can access the Alt del Governador path from here which is amazing vieuw at 438 metres. Path is only for suitable shoes and no fear of hights ;)
Saar — Google review
Great scenery, you will have a comfortable walk if you follow the path but you can choose to go down into the ravine to visit the old mines and ruins.
Thomas D — Google review
Cracking mountain hike route. Not for the inexperienced though. Make sure you are hydrated, have suitable footwear and fit as it takes about 4.5 hours from one side to the other Parts are like Crib Goch! But really enjoyed it
Steve H — Google review
Great 5km hike by the blue ocean. The hiking is quite easy and pretty much possible for all ages. Make sure to wear comfy clothes and shoes, a bottle of water and enjoy the journey.
Nathalya M — Google review
Lovely park with two main routes. One to the lighthouse (approximately 2.5km) and another to the mountain top with more vertical and an option to walk all the way to Benidorm. We walked to the lighthouse, the path is easy and accessible for everyone. The views along the way are great. The parking lot is large and free.

Centre d'interpretació Far de l'Albir is a lighthouse and exhibition center located within a marine conservation area, offering stunning sea views and clifftop trails. The trail to the lighthouse is a popular hiking route, providing beautiful views of the coastline. The walk takes about 30 minutes one way on a well-maintained road with some steep edges. It's recommended to visit in the evening during summer to avoid the heat. The 2.
Visited just before lunchtime on a Monday - beginning of Feb. Nice car park but only a few spaces free as it's a popular walk from here. There is a WC at the entrance of the walk if required. Beautiful walk with some amazing views, the path to this walk is very good and suitable for buggy/pram use . Other walks from this path are a little more rugged and require walking boots. I did notice bicycles are banned from using this path at certain times of the day. Definitely recommend if in the area.
Malcolm T — Google review
The centre is housed in the restored lighthouse building and showcases the history and importance of the lighthouse in maritime navigation. Visitors can enjoy multimedia exhibits and historical photographs. A 2.5 km paved trail (one way) leads to the lighthouse, offering stunning views of the Mediterranean Sea and the cliffs of Serra Gelada. The path is suitable for all ages and abilities, including families, walkers, and cyclists. Along the route, you'll encounter spectacular landscapes, unique geological formations, and local flora and fauna. Keep an eye out for wild goats and a variety of bird species. The centre’s hours may vary depending on the season, so it’s a good idea to check before your visit. It typically operates in the morning and afternoon. The Albir Lighthouse Interpretation Centre combines outdoor activity with historical and cultural enrichment, offering visitors a memorable experience amidst the beauty of Spain’s natural landscapes.

The most beautiful and tranquil paved trail with a nice views. There is a parking lot free of charge as well as toilet. Pine trees, redish rocks.
Dmitriy B — Google review
Beautiful views from here, quite an uphill challenge of a walk on a hot (34 degrees) day !!
Judith E — Google review
A lovely walk to the lighthouse. Quite a distance but easy safe walking. Beautiful views and viewpoints for taking photos along the route. No facilities on the route so take water with you.
Lorraine R — Google review
Very long walk but beautiful
Julian J — Google review
This is a nice spot for a little hike, it takes about 30min to walk one way. The road is very good, but kid’s need to be looked after, because there are extremely steep edges of the road, in some places. The scenery is beautiful, and tou can even spot dolphins, if you’re lucky. In summer, I prefer walking here in the evening, as it’s not too hot then.

Specialty Museums
Nestled in the picturesque surroundings of Albir, the Museu al Aire Liure Villa Romana de l'Albir offers a captivating glimpse into Roman history. This open-air museum showcases the remains of an ancient villa, allowing visitors to step back in time and explore how Romans lived over 2000 years ago. The site is beautifully presented with informative signage and a collection of fascinating artifacts that bring history to life.
If you are interested in Roman history this is the place to be. It's for free, but I recommend to use the tablet offered by the museum. It costs 3 Euro's. It will give you more information and augmented reality when you are walking through the museum.

Remains of a Roman villa. Small but attractive and interesting. Informative signage. Only open in the morning. It's free to enter.
Nigel L — Google review
This is the future of museums! Virtual reality story telling that brings to life the lives of the local ancestors and puts into context the wider historical situation of the area with the fall of the Roman empire. The site itself is very well presented with excellent picture and information boards, again to bring to life what it would have looked and been like. Good collection of artefacts and very friendly museum curator.

A very interesting little museum and villa. Amazing to see how the Romans lived, and died, and how civilization regressed when they left The gentleman on the entrance was very friendly and helpful.

The guide was so nice and even called us back because we would have missed the film and indoor exhibition, I would not have wanted to pay as there is not much there but excellent for free

Outdoor Activities
The well-known city beach known as LP is characterized by a palm-lined boardwalk and opportunities for swimming and volleyball. Situated near holiday apartments in Benidorm, it experiences moderate crowds during the summer months, but is generally less crowded than other urban beaches in the area. The sea can be slightly rough due to its location, although mornings are typically calm. LP offers ample options for dining and nightlife, although some visitors may find the water quality less than ideal.
Beautiful and quiet beach with blue waters and a few restaurants in the surroundings. As it is not a sand beach, I recommend you to use proper shoes to go in the water and avoid hurting your feet. I love watching the sunset there as it is so relaxing. Not many people so you can really hear to the mother nature and the sounds of the ocean.
Nathalya M — Google review
This beach is a beauty site to take some bears and share with the environment, see the ocean at afternoon is perfect, even in the night, when the moon reflect over the water. This is a peaceful experience.
Jeronimo B — Google review
Really loved this beach! 🏝️ It’s a beautiful pebble beach with unique milky-colored water that gives it a soft, dreamy look. The water isn’t crystal clear — you can’t see the bottom — but it still feels very clean and refreshing. There are gentle waves that add a nice touch if you enjoy a bit of movement while swimming. The beach is not too crowded, which makes it perfect for a relaxing day. You can easily find a quiet spot to lay down and enjoy the sound of the sea. One of the great things is that there are restaurants and shops nearby, so you don’t have to worry if you forget to bring something. Whether you want a quick snack, a cold drink, or even a nice lunch with a sea view, you’ve got options right there. All in all, it’s a peaceful and beautiful place — great for couples, families, or solo travelers. Definitely recommend visiting if you’re in the area! 🌊✨
Aleksandar V — Google review
Truly a beautiful beach to be on. Especially to just walk the coastline in the evening. As for the swimming, there had been little to no seaweed in my encounters, the water is mostly clear, very good for diving enthusiasts, who just want to watch fish and have fun. A good place to come to, plenty of space, bathrooms if needed to change or use the WC. Is kid friendly, has playgrounds for kids.

Gallery Albir is a charming and bright art gallery that showcases a variety of paintings, sculptures, and other artworks by artists from different countries such as Norway, UK, Netherlands, Belgium, Spain, and more. The gallery is divided into sections to display the art naturally with light falling from all directions. Visitors can expect a friendly welcome and an exciting meeting place for art lovers. The owner Nelly del Arbo is not only friendly and informative but also an excellent artist and photographer.
The Albir Gallery run by Nelly and Inge offers a fair, nice and very honest deal to the artists they work with, and that also applies to the art collectors. I highly recommend the Albir Gallery for both ... Artists and Art Collectors ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We visit this wonderful gallery regularly and have seen some excellent works there. We are looking forward to visiting it again soon, for the exhibition of the work of artist Graham G Maiden, in September. Nelly del Arbo, the owner of the gallery is very friendly and informative, apart from being an excellent artist and photographer as well. If you like art as much as we do, a visit to this charming gallery is a must.

Asian restaurant
Restaurante The Banana Tree is a well-known dining spot in Albir, offering a variety of Asian cuisines such as Indian, Indonesian, Thai, Chinese, and Japanese. Visitors praise the exceptional quality of food and beautiful decor at this restaurant. The staff is described as friendly and attentive, providing great service. Guests particularly enjoyed the set menu for two, highlighting the delicious chicken in fruit sauce and generous portion sizes.
Just been this evening as a family of 3 and we couldn’t believe how nice it was! Quite sad we’ve left it until our last night in Spain, because we definitely would’ve gone twice!! Food amazing! Would recommend the honey ribs!! The place is so amazingly decorated too. We got 6 dishes of food and our drinks for 45 euro!!! Bargain.
Jade S — Google review
We have ate in here twice, and both times were excellent. The food is authentic and fresh, served well with staff helpful. This restaurant is highly decorated and spotlessly clean. Highly recommend, the green curry is exceptional.
Sandy M — Google review
Wow, what a place. The decor was well over the top! Really nice as the pictures show! The food was exceptionally good. There were so many really different tastes and flavours. 10 out of 10! I shall certainly go back to this one! Even the loos were really great!
Kim G — Google review
We came twice for vegThai curries. Delicious and with lots of variety of fresh veg. Great value. We had some fries the first time but just a tiny portion at £2.95 wasn't worth it. The menu showed £2 so a 50% price increase. Service was ok but never got asked how the food was, did we need anything else etc. It's a very large place so if full service may be a challenge. Some back ground music would be good also. The last Thai we ate was in Thailand and this compared well.
Lisa B — Google review
⚠️ Warning MSG overload ⚠️ This place is a really nice restaurant, it’s has a great feel and look, the staff were polite and on the ball. We ordered 2 starters and 2 main courses The starters we ordered were not cooked in any sauce and were fantastic, however, both main courses were cooked in their own separate sauce, the individual flavours were there but were out shadowed by the vast amounts of MSG and or Sugar, we did finish the meals and left fairly happy with the whole experience but about an hour later both of us had head and stomach aches. Cooking is about adding flavours and enhancing the ingredients, not adding addictive sweetness
Dave S — Google review
Food came out Really Hot and Sizzling and the Food was lovely, it was worth the Money to say the least, The restaurant was very clean and the waiter that served us was very Nice and Patient, True Authentic Asian Food and We Rate it a 5 Star and Anybody that Loves Asian Food COME HERE! you wont regret it.

We have been here many times over the years, but this was our first in over 6 years. It did not disappoint. Food piping hot. Service excellent. Would highly recommend My only niggle was some of the furniture is starting to show its age. However, that does not detract from this being a lovely place, with bags of character.
Fay E — Google review
We went to the Banana Tree restaurant on Sunday may 26th. Absolutely horrendous. Both had Hot and sour soup which was quite frankly disgustingly bad. My wife had Thai green curry which looked and tasted abysmal. I had a sirloin steak concoction in some type of brown goo.Worse meal I can ever remember. Avoid at all cost. Kev..

Nestled just a stone's throw from the shimmering shores of Albir, Le Boulevard is a culinary gem that promises an unforgettable dining experience. With its intimate ambiance and ever-evolving menu crafted daily by the talented chef Fienus Kramers, every visit feels like a delightful surprise. The attentive staff takes pride in understanding your personal tastes, ensuring that each dish served is tailored to your preferences.
Comming to Le Boulevard for many many years. Had the full 5 course menu with wine pairing and of course dessert. As always the food was excellent, the wines very good and the service from Fienes and Mecchie welcomming and warm. For me it is a bit like home with lots of good food and very happy memories over the years. The have moved just around the corner to Calle Ruperto Chapi. So if you, like me, only come once or twice a year to Albir do not panic, they are still there and going strong. Do visit Le Boulevard, you will not be disappointed. Even better make a reservation right away and enjoy the food and service.

Long time I've been wanting to come and visit this amazing looking place, I cannot say it was bad but I would say is average, with 7 waiters and 5 customer tables at the time of my arrival I felt like service could be better, food was ok to although I feel like it's a average trade... Cava sangria was fantastic! Good beer options, do not try the strawberry mojito 0 strawberies on it only sirup.
