The Nasrullah Mosque is an ancient place of worship with remarkable architectural design. The mosque, situated in an old town, exudes simplicity and beauty. It provides a delightful walking experience for visitors who can admire its stunning structure. The favorable September weather allows for comfortable attire such as a T-shirt. Turkish food and sweet treats can be found at the numerous shops nearby, while an old hotel offers convenient accommodation options.
This is a very old mosque. The architecture is very old and very nice. The old town is very simple and that is what makes beautiful. This is a walking area and we really enjoyed the visit. The weather was very nice in September and T shirt was enough. You find many shops for Turkish food and sweet specialties. There is also an old hotel very close to the area. You can also find « Terzi » as they call it in Turkey if you need to sew any clothes.

Cafe
Münire Medresesi is a historic site located behind the Nasrullah Mosque in Kastamonu. Today, it houses souvenir shops and offers a glimpse into the city's heritage. The medrese also features a beautiful garden and a cafe where visitors can relax and enjoy refreshments. While some may find the items slightly expensive, it's still worth visiting to explore the handicrafts and take in the charming atmosphere.
Like most of Kastamonu this place is so historic.

The bazaar shopkeepers are smiling, male and female. nice conversation. It is our pleasure that Taner Baysan, the Baysan Gift from whom we bought the magnet and trivet, tells the history of Kastamonu every 10 minutes. (Translated by Google) I had the opportunity to visit the historical Munire madrasa and bazaar. The environment is a place that smells of history and the original is intact. It is a very cute place where local products and souvenirs are sold along the road. It is intertwined with the Nasrullah mosque. There are graves in the garden. In the garden in the middle, there are dozens of turtles that have established a colony, do not avoid people and even make them love them. There is a place like a tea garden inside the madrasa. The staff was a bit disrespectful and we warned. Since I have evaluated the madrasa, I will not deduct points for this negativity. In conclusion, the madrasa should definitely be on your list of places to see. It will please you with its historical texture and bazaar. The Kastamonu Museum offers an impressive collection and knowledgeable staff. The exhibits are remarkable, and the staff is exceptionally attentive when it comes to answering questions. A pleasant conversation can be had with both the head security guard and the museum director, who is also very attractive. This place is highly recommended for a visit! Additionally, there seems to be some unrelated information about Gacha in the input that doesn't pertain to the museum.
small selection but it was well presented. you learn something. all greek text on the gravestones was translated. stones of 2000 years ago were interesting to read. had the feeling that the human doesnt change too much. the vase in shape of a man was also interesting with its bare presentation of sexuality.

Cultural center
Rıfat Ilgaz Kültür Merkezi, formerly known as Gideros Bay or Kyotros Bay in the Iliad of Homer, is renowned for its yellow hand-painted clothes. The center hosts a variety of shows for both children and adults almost every week, offering a diverse range of entertainment. While the small living room may be considered a drawback, the balcony partially makes up for this limitation.

(Translated by Google) We decided we couldn't leave without trying the famous tirit kebab. Everyone mentioned this place, so we went and ordered. Inside were two pots and bowls, and we couldn't quite figure out how they made the food. We ordered, and it arrived quickly, but we couldn't quite figure out what was inside. We later learned it was a soggy bread, topped with yogurt and ground meat that resembled crumbled peas. Don't let the appearance fool you, we decided to try it, but it tasted like an overly spicy and oily dough. We couldn't taste the meat at all; the spices and oil were distracting. We left before finishing our meal and asked for the POS (Postal Terminal) while paying. The POS was reportedly down for some reason. I wish they had honestly said they didn't use POS. We don't recommend it. (Original) Meşhur tirit kebabını yemeden dönmeyelim dedik, herkes burayı söyledi biz de gidip sipariş verdik. Görüntü yanıltmasın tadına bakalım dedik fakat tadı aşırı baharatlı ve yağlı bir hamur gibiydi etin tadına adeta hiç almadık, baharat ve yağ rahatsız etti. (Translated by Google) We came to Kastamonu for the first time to try tirit. The restaurant's sign says it's been serving food since 1953, but its hospitality and business acumen were utterly lacking. Only one of our five guests wanted tirit, so we planned to try it and then leave. However, the waiter frowned because we only ordered one portion. Later, someone else came out and said, "The water had just boiled, so we'd have to wait at least half an hour." It was easy to believe this statement was a lie, given the attitude. They wouldn't let us sit down and eat one portion of food, even though if it had been good, we probably would have ordered more. I should also add that there were no other customers in the restaurant at this point. We were met with a rude attitude and a complete disregard for customer satisfaction. It's truly disappointing to experience such an experience from a place that claims to be so established in a city as rich in gastronomy as Kastamonu. I absolutely do not recommend it. Kesinlikle tavsiye etmiyorum.

(Translated by Google) On the last day of our holiday trip to Kastamonu, we went to this mediocre restaurant to get some tirit. It's a dish made with bone broth, a spoonful of garlic yogurt, and a maximum of 20 grams (1 tablespoon) of roasted ground meat added to a hardened Kastamonu simit. It's served with melted butter at the end. I don't know if this is the real deal, but it wasn't the least bit appealing. I've been a shopkeeper for years, and I've been working there, and the food I make is uniquely theirs, their tastes are unique, and I close the food comments section. Now, let's get to the rest. We finished our meal and wanted to pay the bill. They said they don't accept credit cards. Oh no. I said, "I'll send it to me," they said, "no, we can't take it that way either." I said, "What are we going to do?" Go out the door, turn left. There are ATMs just a few meters ahead, and they told me to pull it out and bring it back. I said, "Be patient, then give my wife and mother a cup of tea, and I'll just pull out the money and go." THEY SAID WE DON'T HAVE TEA. Oh man, there are at least five of you there. Can't you make yourselves tea? Come on, you don't have any tea, and there's no one around to offer tea? How can a place founded in 1953 be run like this? I quickly withdrew the money from the ATM mentioned and left. I strongly advise against it. May God grant you peace. Don't get me wrong, it's not 2 per person. 2 pickles, 2 ezme, 2 haydari for 4 people. It looks big in the photo, but don't be fooled, one spoon each. Then, while we were waiting for the food, there was a cat in the place, it started wandering around. I'm not an animal hater, but you don't let it wander around in a restaurant. Anyway, they tried to take it out after half an hour, we ignored it, and then the food arrived. They put salt in it. The chef didn't taste it at all when he made it. Pastrami is a little salty, okay, but this salt is not that salt, friends. I said let me eat meat bread to refresh my mouth a little bit, but it was salty. Look, I'm not exaggerating, if you go to the place, order one for the middle, don't let everyone order meat bread for themselves thinking that it will fill their stomach, they will go hungry. By the way, when paying the bill, if the customers order pastrami bread, I suggested that the waiters warn them upfront that it "might be a little salty", they said "our pastrami is a little salty, we put onions in it to cover the salt". And they were laughing. I don't forgive the money I paid for pastrami. You wouldn't give that to a customer knowingly!

(Translated by Google) We went here, completely unfamiliar with Kastamonu, after a recommendation from the guesthouse staff. The authentic, modern atmosphere immediately embraces you. The service is fast, and the waiters are friendly. The food is incredibly delicious. We had pastrami bread and etli ekmek (Turkish pastry). The etli ekmek was more like çiğ börek (raw pastry). So, if I were to come again, I'd definitely order pastrami bread. Since we were with our baby, we requested a high chair. The high chair was extremely dirty, which I think is the most important thing to consider. I must also mention that the restrooms were very clean. We went for breakfast the next day, which was also sufficient and good.
