Mablethorpe in 2 days

If you only have 2 days to spend in Mablethorpe, we’ve narrowed down the top places you should check out to get the best experience of your time here.
Mablethorpe is a classic English seaside town known for its long, sandy Blue Flag beach and traditional promenade lined with arcades, fish-and-chip shops and family attractions. Its wide, gently shelving shore and dunes make it popular for walking, paddling and simple beach days. Nearby nature reserves along the Lincolnshire coast offer quieter stretches of coastline and opportunities for birdwatching and wildlife spotting. The town’s compact centre, seasonal events and straightforward transport links from the East Midlands make it an easy short-break destination.
With favorites like Tingdene Mablethorpe Chalet Park, Robin Hood Fish & Chips, and Presto Takeaway, we’ll make sure you don’t miss out on all the must sees. We even included some of our favorite food spots around the area, like The Dunes complex and The Ferry Boat Inn so you can get the best taste of Mablethorpe while you’re here. To see our full list of food recommendations, check out our best restaurants post. If you're traveling on a budget, you can check out our cheap eats post.

The Seal Sanctuary Wildlife Centre, located near Havens Golden Sands resort, is a haven for injured or orphaned seal pups. In addition to seals, visitors can also encounter meerkats, ring-tailed lemurs, and axolotl salamanders. The center offers the opportunity for kids to participate in a zookeeper for a day experience.
Fantastic little Sanctuary all the animals look well looked after and well feed. This isn't just a Sanctuary it's also a learning space for kids to learn about history etc very clever. Cafe nice and clean food lovely all staff very friendly and helpful keep up the good work you all deserve a medal 🏅 we came with kings norton coaches from Birmingham well worth the 4 hours trip

Visited with our grand kids, girls 5 and 6, and was very impressed. Very well laid out, informative displays and a huge variety of animals seals and birds. Really cannot understand the poor reviews as we all had a great time and thought the enclosures were spotless and the animals looked happy and content. We will be back.
Tim W — Google review
A great array of animals here. The seals are really cute and what they do for them is amazing. Rehabilitation for them to go back into the wild after injuries. The resident seals seem happy too. Parrot by entrance is funny and will say hello/goodbye to you! Lovely staff and nice cafe too
Grace B — Google review
Loved visiting here, large variety of animals to see. All the animals are obviously very well loved and cared for, and the sanctuary is massive with free parking. The cafe, loos, and paths were all very clean and tidy, with lots of different areas to view the different animals. I do however think some of the enclosures could be bigger, and cleaner. Admission price was very reasonable, I'd happily pay more to see cleaner, slightly bigger enclosures.
Mishka L — Google review
We visited on a Friday afternoon in August and it was busy but easy to move around. There is lots of interesting information and wide range of animals including meerkats, pigs, chicken, various birds including a stunning peacock, ostrich, llama, and seals. The gardens are lively and there’s a small play area, cafe and toilets. I couldn’t help but feel some of the information boards looked a bit tired , had they been better I would have given a higher score.
Mal333 — Google review
Had the best time and experience. one of the park staff was lovely and took time out of her day to explain about how they care for the animals and the connections they have especially Frank the tortoise!! Will definitely have to return!! All animals were cared for and had lots of space to roam!! Would definitely recommend
Millie T — Google review
Not sure what to expect walking up the car park but once inside, what a place. Whole family had a really good time, had a lovely lunch in the cafe, all staff were really friendly. The signs clearly say they take in sick animals and enclosures are designed around their needs so if there is not loads of water in with the seals or a pen is small or a lynx is pacing, there may well be a valid reason.
Richard B — Google review
The "park" looks very tired and the animals, although appearingly well cared for , look sad and in need of enrichment. We attended the seal feeding time , but unfortunately the young lady dong the talk was inaudible due to a very poor pa system. In desperate need of an overhaul. Got to say I felt a little depressed when I left , but I will say the staff appear to do a great job under difficult circumstances ❤️

Holiday park
Tingdene Mablethorpe Chalet Park is a park that caters to traditional caravans and chalets, offering various amenities such as an arcade, cafe, pub, and fish and chip shop. The chalet available for booking from March 1st to October 31st is a peaceful getaway for couples and families in the charming British seaside town of Mablethorpe.
Been here a few times now, and the club house is small, but comfortable. The prices are reasonable, and the staff are friendly. The food seems good that we tried. Close to the sea, and not too far to walk into town, about 25 minutes by foot.
Neil W — Google review
We booked caravan L51. It was shabby and dirty. There were so many broken or damaged things, we too nearly 30 photos. The kitchen utensils were encrusted with food, the pans were filthy, there were 3 broken door handles, bedroom door latch was broken, the list goes on...
Janice T — Google review
Great place right next to the sea, lovely accommodation. Excellent prices. We shall be back !!
Stacey S — Google review
I travelled her with my family for several days. The experience has been a little mixed but we've enjoyed ourselves. I'd definitely visit again though. The staff were helpful and it has a quaint environment that's quiet. Though expect a few kids running around and screaming from time to time.
WadeyHyena16 — Google review
Rented Static Caravan, site exceptionally tidy and quiet (early October 24). Very close to the wide expanse of soft sand beach. Lots of caravans and chalets for hire. Would definitely go to the same site again. Lots of greena for children to play on

The Loewen Cinema

Movie theater
The Loewen Cinema in Mablethorpe is a modern brick-built 2-screen cinema that offers the latest blockbuster and digital 3D movie releases. It's a great option for entertainment on rainy days, showing blockbuster and family films as well as live broadcasts of National Theatre shows. The small, two-screen cinema provides snacks and offers cut-price tickets for matinee performances. The venue is air-conditioned with disabled access and ample parking. It also caters to parties and events.
The cinema is a living symbol of fair price cinema and at the beach! Incredible drinks and snacks! The screen was more than suitable for a movie you just want to watch. Staff were kind and generous, the toilet facilities were fine. Really good find in a town that already hosts enough.
Iftekhar C — Google review
Lovely independent Cinema that was close to the caravan site I was staying at. I was at a loose end whilst waiting for the others to join me the following day so I want to the cinema to grab a movie. It was a bargain, ticket, drink and some sweets cost me a £10!!! The owners/staff we very welcoming. We should help keep these places open as they have character.
Steve N — Google review
Went today with my son who treated me for my birthday. Great cinema. Friendly staff. If you have been go. Prices good value and very spacious seating. I love it 😊x
Martin O — Google review
My first visit & iv stayed in Mablethorpe every year on Holiday this will now be my new ritual to watch a movie on every vacation at Haven. This stand-alone cinema is a new favourite of mine & my wife's it's small but mighty. The prices are so low compared to Odeon and the selection of drinks & edibles is huge so many choices I was spoiled at super low prices I was shocked. I'm jealous Mablethorpe residents, I wish I didn't live 2 hours away. Normally at an odeon I'd pay for tickets & food it would be near £70 at Loewen it was just under £30 I was stunned. Seats are very comfy & the smaller room gives you a cosy feeling during your watch. 5 🌟 can't wait to visit again
Anton W — Google review
It’s such a cosy cinema, the reception area is quite small, can’t fit in a lot of people but the staff members were professional. It’s kids friendly and the location is easy to spot.
Bukola A — Google review
What a great little cinema! A hidden gem. Great films, well priced snacks and comfy seats. Fab afternoon at the cinema. Highly recommend.
Sharon H — Google review
Fabulous little theatre/cinema. Parking directly outside. Very reasonable priced tickets. Comfy chairs. We saw a National Theatre screening - brilliant - with an interval. Hot & cold drinks, plus food (happy shopper). Friendly staff, postcards and dvds also for sale. We travelled about 45 mls to see this musical as it wasn't being shown near us, but plenty to do in Mablethorpe on a Sunday- inc Sand Racing (motorcycles). All good.

Brilliant experience. Comfortable seats, great ticket prices and the snacks are normal prices...if not cheaper. What more do you need.

Experience the unique Mablethorpe Famous Sand Train for a leisurely tour of the beach without having to walk long distances. The train runs from just outside the Seal Sanctuary to the main town access point, with four other stops in between. The open-top carriages offer limited comfort but provide a pleasant ride along the beautiful beach. The return journey costs £3, or £1.50 each way, and takes approximately 25 minutes to complete.
Travelled on it today (April 2025) and it was £1.50 each way. Fantastic value for money, the pilot was really helpful and drove carefully. Shame about the delinquents who dug channels into the sand in order to disrupt the train. The only thing I would say that needed improvement, is alerting the pilot that we want to alight in between the termini. There were regular signposts along the beach, signifying where the train will allow you to embark. It was thoroughly enjoyable!
Richard G — Google review
Would give zero stars if possible. Very disappointed to pay £5 to the nearest park all day car park expecting to catch the sand train to the Seal Sanctuary only to discover from the local lifeguards that the train hasn’t been running “for ages”. Mablethorpe website needs to update their visitor information page as this attraction is no longer running. Very disappointed!
Rachel J — Google review
Been around forever. I've got the sand train since I was small. We love to go through the dune entrance to the beach, however, the sand train was most appreciated when my grandma needed an easier route from the seal sanctuary. So easy to hop on and off, when you want to pop to mablethorpe Town from the beach. Good novelty value and exciting for the children.

LOVE! LOVE! LOVE! Mablethorpe sand-train is a great way for anyone young or old to travel along Mablethorpe beach We did a return journey and was pleasantly surprised with the price for 2 adults and a toddler as I expected it to be more (it was around £9) the journey was around 1/2 hr there and back, plently of seating but it does get filled very quickly as its so popular It really is a lovely way to travel along the beach and will definitely go on again next time we are there as the grandson loved it!
April S — Google review
Great ride !tradition still going!my grand children love it !the sun on our backs the wind in your hair !then an ice cream !i loved it as did the kids !ita a must when at seaside !

Went on bank holiday Monday grand children excited to ride train Walked up to sand by seal sanctuary where adviced to catch train waited a hour no sign of train time was 13.00 Very disappointed children

Made a special trip to Mablethorpe last week to come and go on the Sand train as I loved going on it a couple of years ago. Couldn’t see the stop for it on the beach, so asked at the lifeguard hut and was told it no longer runs! Really disappointed, it was a lovely journey up and down the beach taking in the sea air!

Mablethorpe Beach is a dog-friendly destination, with certain restrictions in the busiest section from May 1st to September 30th. Visitors are guided by signs on the promenade to avoid this area, but can still access quieter areas north and south where dogs are welcome. This Blue Flag Award-winning beach offers golden sands and a range of water sports such as swimming, wind surfing, sailing, kayaking, and canoeing with gentle waves and tides.
Beautiful beach. In the same coast as Skegness but much more cleaner. Car park was £2 for 3 hours and card accepted or pay by phone. It’s a 2 mins walk. Dog friendly and a cafe shop in the car park. Well maintained. Spent a lovely spring afternoon there with the kids.
Mohammad K — Google review
Must admit this is a very nice beach lots of room and good views we came on a lovely sunny day which always help make it look better then in the rain. The beach is clean from litter and the sea is good. would have been 5 stars if i had not spotted a poo on the beach near the waters edge i so hope it was from a dog and not human. hoping it was a one off i then spotted another one up the beach which was a dog poo guess some people just don't care and pick up after their dogs shame as kids are on this beach playing in the sand. but that's said that was the only fault i found much better then other beaches on this coast line just down the road. The sand is soft deep we enjoyed our time here and would return.
Mark P — Google review
Really nice beach, plenty of car parking though at the time was £8 for 6 hours. The sand is quite fine and not stony. There is a cafe next to the beach, wasn’t particularly friendly and overcharged me twice (based on their menu prices) other than the beach I wouldn’t have said there was loads for the kids to do but to be fair I am old and wasn’t really looking. Nice for sitting in the sun though.
Mark L — Google review
Very clean beach in a lovely small town, entertained by local police getting stuck in the sand!
Mark M — Google review
Nice flat family-friendly beach with lots of sand at low tide, lifeguard service and plenty of refreshments and amusements. Towards the North is quieter and backed by dunes, with parking nearby.
Alistair S — Google review
Beautiful beach which runs for miles. Bring a picnic and bucket and spade and relax. Promenade goes for around 4 miles and I cycled it with ease as it’s flat. Very few people around and a cafe for refreshments along the way. Perfect day out to the seaside.
Claire E — Google review
Parking close to sea front. We didn't visit the shops just walked the seafront. Plentiful eateries. Watch out for months when dogs aren't allowed on the beach. Seafront was clean and tidy. You have to pay for use of public toilets.
Carol W — Google review
One of the best beaches. No dogs allowed between May and September on the main section. However from the Dunes complex and North past the life guard station it is dog friendly and there is miles of wide beach. In season the sand train is also available. Lovely and clean and there is the Dunes.. cafes... mini golf.. go karts and fun fair.. although I do miss the big wheel on the main prom.

The Dunes Complex is a charming venue located on the main promenade, offering stunning views of the beach and coastline. During the day, visitors can enjoy friendly staff and delicious pub food while taking in the beautiful seaside scenery. In addition to reasonably priced drinks and perfectly cooked pizza, there are entertainment options such as comedy nights with top-notch comedians. The complex also features an outside eating and drinking area, making it a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the atmosphere.
Popped in on the off chance, big thumbs up 👍 👍 we were able to take out dogs in. Thankyou. We were going to have a carvery which looked absolutely lovely but seeing other people's plates thought maybe we didn't have enough room in our bellies 😀 Went instead for a big appetite all day breakfast and 3 toasted sandwiches which each came with salad and chips. I would like to say that it was great value and cooked to perfection. The staff were great and did all they could to help with our requests. Would definitely recommend.

Excellent time at kids club tonight for an range of 4 - 11 years. The kids thoroughly enjoyed dancing, playing games and getting involved with the entertainment. We all ate the delicious basket meals which were served promptly and hot for an excellent price! Super efficient and friendly staff that couldn't do enough for us! Can't wait for the next Kidz Club evening!! ❤️
Hayley M — Google review
This establishment saved our Sunday. We (a family of 5), had originally been going to The Grange for a Sunday carvery, but due to their incompetence we had to find somewhere at very short notice. So let's start with ease of parking on arrival. Parking is available right outside at the end of the building, charged at 80p and hour using a pay and display meter. Alternatively you can use the Mipermit App, location number is on the back of the machine, as it is on all pay and display meters we have used so far in Mablethorpe. If no spaces are available, there is parking literally on the opposite side of the road. Access to the building is via an entrance facing the sea. This can be reached without using any steps from the carpark or by using steps directly from the roadside. We were greeted as we entered the bar area and shown to our reserved table without any fuss. Carvery and drinks are ordered from the bar, where you are given a ticket and politely asked to wait at your table until called forward for the carvery. I'm guessing this is to stop the queue for the carvery also blocking the entrance to the building. The wait was only about 5mins, probably less. The food was perfect, meats cut professionally and very generous portions. Great flavour and a real taste of home cooked food. The toilets are small but very very clean. The toilets in here are for customers use only, alternative public toilets are available in the car park area. This is a truly genuine family orientated venue, and kindly remind customers of this with their polite signage in the bar and at the entrance. In recognition of Blue Light services and the Military, holders of the Blue Light Card and the Defence Discount Card will get a 7.5% discount. When asked about the Veterens ID Card scheme, a definite yes was not confirmed but staff thought the owners may apply the discount the same as Defence Discount Card holders. Dogs are welcome here, and bowls of fresh water are provided. The Dunes Complex is recommended to everyone. A great place for food, atmosphere, live entertainment or just a refreshing drink. 5* well deserved. Thank you.
Steven P — Google review
We honestly can not thank the staff enough! The Dunes complex hosted our whole wedding day yesterday and wow! From planning and start to finish they all went above and beyond to make our day special. The food buffet was outstanding. A big selection of hot and cold food and vegetarian options too! You made our day extra special and go with absolute ease. Thank you paddy and to all the amazing staff ❤️ I could not recommend the Dunes enough for a wedding or party 👏

The Dunes Complex is a fabulous family run pub, restaurant and all round community hub often with great entertainment especially outside during the summer months. The staff are always friendly and happy to help, the beers are always good and well kept plus they're not expensive. The food is lovely there too and we can highly recommend the carvery. The Dunes is always worth a pop in if you're thirsty or hungry on Mablethorpe beach ⛱️

The Ferryboat Inn, recently reopened under the management of Haven, is a well-run venue offering a good selection of drinks. While they don't currently serve food, there is an arcade and clean restrooms for both male and female patrons as well as those with disabilities. The outdoor seating area is covered by a small canopy, and the sports-themed venue boasts multiple screens to enjoy live sporting events. Additionally, guests can play pool on-site. Prices are in line with expectations for drinks these days.
Food was the best we had around Haven. The chicken nuggets from the children's menu were real chicken breast and delicious according to our child. The dirty fries - amazing. Service was good and the atmosphere chilled. It was Saturday night so they had an amazing musician with an acoustic guitar.

I had the vegan burger. Very dog friendly. Very Friendly kind staff & the manger is absolutely lovely. My dachshunds were made very welcome.
Camille H — Google review
This has the potential to be a great pub but falls short because the prices are outrageously high and the interior is far too bright, bland and uninviting. There is an outside area which gets the sun until it goes down and this is a great spot but the prices make it difficult to justify a visit. If they spent some money on making the interior 'softer' and more welcoming and revised the prices to make them more in line with other places in Mablethorpe, I'm sure business would increase significantly.
Lance K — Google review
Seen the building when it wasn't owned by Haven but it was never open. Came past to get to the Golden Sands beach access and could see it had been refurbished and was now Haven. Lots of outside seating. Didn't look much from the outside but we'd dined at the Quayside (onside Haven restaurant) the night before and was looking for somewhere less kid focused. Called in after a few hours in Mablethorpe. Sat outside which is south facing so plenty of sun. Inside is more of a pub vibe than the photos get across. Certainly more atmosphere than I expected. Nice and clean. Some music on. Lots of tables in and outside. Good selection at the bar and they had some music playing. Bathrooms were average. Outside had a little Doggy shower set up post getting sandy on the beach. Not really a parking area but can walk over from the main site. Great if you are in the nearest caravans. Suppose opening hours depends on season. We sat outside with our dog. (Some dog water bowls would be great and a wipe down of the tables outside)

The cheese toasties was dry as a bone. Thick bread and only a sliver of cheese. There was only cheddar and no mozzarella. I would imagine if parents ordered this for their kids, there would be a lot of leftovers. On the upside, the staff were amazing!!!

Part of the nearby Haven caravan park, right next to the foot access to the beach. "Travel lodge bar" feel to it, but fine for pop and chips after a day at the beach. Seating outside and in, dog friendly, little shop selling beach toys and wine breaks etc. Useful find for day one the beach, would recommend fort what it is 👍🏻

Robin Hood Fish & Chips is a charming little establishment with a quaint and vintage interior, where customers can place their food orders to be freshly cooked. The portion sizes are generous, and the prices are reasonable, making it an excellent choice for fish and chips enthusiasts. The staff members are friendly and accommodating, always ready to assist their customers. This traditional chip shop offers a delightful culinary experience with its delectable dishes that evoke nostalgic memories of times gone by.
What a great meal. The place is just class. It's brings the best out of a Fish and chips meal. So heartwarming and I got very emotional and excited that found this place. I have just been released from a Secure Mental Health Unit and this made ne so happy. Well done to everyone who works there

It's a take away so don't judge the atmosphere score. Fish was lovely. Big flakes and superbly cooked to order. No experience of the myriad of other chippies in town but think we hit the jackpot here. Thanks

Stumbled across this chippy on a trip to the beach at Saltfleet. The chips were lovely. We didn't have anything else, but I would expect it all to be very good. We'll definitely be back in our next trip to the area. One thing to note is that it is cash only.

Not bad fish and chips, but just a few problems, very oily fish, cash only which can be a problem if you don't carry cash. Service with a smile works wonders. Miserable services.

All freshly cooked so there can be a wait but the food is decently priced and very tasty. Staff/owners very friendly too.

Fish & chips restaurant
Marcie’s Fish and Chips is a delightful spot that stands out among the many fish and chip shops in the area. Nestled in a prime location, it offers ample seating with lovely views, making it an inviting place to enjoy your meal. The service is efficient, reflecting their busy atmosphere while still maintaining a friendly vibe. Although some may find the portion sizes on the smaller side for the price, diners can expect deliciously cooked fish paired with perfectly crispy chips that are fresh and not overly greasy.
Went here last Saturday while away for the weekend in Mablethorpe, there was plenty of places to choose from but we liked the look of this, right overlooking the beach. The food was absolutely delicious, Fish & Chips. it was cooked fresh, came out pipping hot, was a very decent portion even tho we order the small portions, the batter on the fish was light and crispy, the chips were all fresh and lovely, and was still piping hot right towards the end of eating them. I would highly recommend this place, In fact I was that impressed when our family left I waited to tell the people serving how nice it all was and thanked them. Get yourselves to Marcies Fish and Chips if you are in the area.

A reasonably priced fish and chip shop directly on the promenade with benches available outside to admire the views. Seating inside is also available. A wide menu selection, cooked fresh to order. Overall a pleasant fish and chips on the beach!
Christopher H — Google review
Absolutely superb. Queue out the door - for all the right reasons. There were a few initial eyebrow raises at the pricing, but once the food arrived… It quickly became apparent this is a world class chippy and well worth the premium price. The batter was easily the best I’ve ever had. Thin, crispy, flavoursome. Portion size - no complaints there. The chips were really quite something. So fresh and tasty, Not overly greasy and you just didn’t want them to end. I don’t know if I’ve had better elsewhere. I feel like these were made from really decent potatoes. Every aspect was great , including curry sauce and mushy peas. Heinz condiments, none of that lacklustre wholesaler sauce sachets that just don’t cut it. Friendly staff, grateful for customers. A fantastic operation delivering the best fish and chips around.

Marcie's was my third option to choose from the selection of different fish & chip places. It's in a great location with a lot of seating and great views. The service was okay, you can tell that they're busy and quick, efficient communication makes their system work but they were still nice enough. For £15, I've definitely had a bigger portion for less but it was a good tasty fish and good chips. Great selection of drinks too which is sometimes unheard of with most chippies.

Well overpriced for sausage and chips. Gravy was awful. Miserable staff.

Called in here just by chance while having a family stroll down the promenade. So glad we did.. very friendly staff, all cooked fresh to order and best fish and chips I've had in years.
Martin D — Google review
The best fish n chips I've tasted in a long time. We had a small fish and chips with mushy peas which was generous and non greasy. The fish was lovely and the batter so light and tasty and along with the chips and peas made a delicious meal. Great service too.
Jenni C — Google review
My wife and I stopped here for a traditional seaside fish & chips rare for us. The chap taking the order and payment was polite and courteous. We both ordered haddock & chips £11 each and my wife also had mushy peas. The haddock were both freshly cooked to order. We waited around 20mins and it was well worth it. I recommend this restaurant if you want good fish & chips, hence all the stars.

Day 2

Center of town
For day 2, we recommend exploring the center side of town. Start the day off with Queen’s Park, then wind down and take it easy by the time you get to Lincolnshire Aquapark. All together, your day would be filled with about 5 hours of non-stop fun.

Queen’s Park

Park
Queens Park is a charming public park located in a quieter part of Mablethorpe, offering a range of activities for families to enjoy. The park features a privately run children's area, boating lake, crazy golf, flat green bowls, an 18-hole putting green, tennis courts, and a paddling pool with fountains. Visitors can also hire swan-shaped pedaloes and rowing boats at the lake.
Lots of geese. No feeding geese is a rule. And, because of geese, everything is pretty much dirty, but not the benches, so that's pretty interesting.
Alanas J — Google review
Visited on a scorching day! The lake offered some relief. Lots of geese, which were fun to watch and take pictures with my camera 📷

We regularly ride 80 miles to the cafe at Anderby for their breakfast. It's a lovely venue which sells a wide variety of foods, drink and alcoholic beverages! Lovely location, the pay and display car park can get a little busy after noon though!
Matt T — Google review
A beautiful place. Good parking facilities at a reasonable price. Plenty of places to eat and drink a long the promenade. Mindful no dogs allowed on beach.
Keith W — Google review
The paddling pool is free entry and there are paid activities including the boating lake, playground, mini golf, miniature railway and bowling green. There's plenty to do for all ages. There are also lodges available for hire on a daily or weekly basis.

Loved splash park, golf and model train
Garry F — Google review
It's a good, old-fashioned, little park, right beside the seafront in a quieter part of Mablethorpe. There is a lake, where you can hire swan-shaped peddloes, and rowing boats. There's also a miniature railway, a paddling pool, a mini golf, an adventure play area, a cafe, and toilet block, with showers. There's also lots of beach huts, up a slope, which is quite steep, but accessible for wheelchairs, pushchairs, etc, which also leads onto the beach. There is a large car park, with spaces for coaches, disabled, and a couple of charging points for electric cars.
Sharon G — Google review
The pond water is severely polluted, exhibiting a murky green color and a foul odor.. The parking ticket machine's broken, even though parking's cheap.

If you're looking for an exhilarating day out, the Lincolnshire Aquapark is a must-visit destination, located just 13 miles from Mablethorpe. This vibrant water park features an inflatable obstacle course reminiscent of the popular show Total Wipeout, offering endless fun as you navigate through its challenges. Zorbing on water adds another layer of excitement for those seeking something unique.
Fantastic place to visit! Me and my two boys ( 10 and 5 years old ) visited over the bank holiday. Friendly and professional staff, very well run and efficient! A good thorough but quick safety briefing started shortly prior to our session, meaning not much time at all was taken from the fun part! A huge addition to the campsite, and provided us with ample entertainment over our stay there. And during all our observation, I didn’t see 1 unsatisfied customer or any incidents. Great fun! Would highly recommend and very reasonably priced, will be back soon! 😁

Booked this activity for Father’s Day with our 14 year old son. Usually very hard finding anything that our grumpy teenage son is willing to do ( and enjoy) with us but we had such a great time and was enjoyed by us all. Definitely will come again and do with our eldest son too on the next visit. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I’m very glad we booked this.

I’d like to say a massive thank you to Richard who was the organiser of the Aquapark in Mablethorpe. I booked an event with the company and turned up on Saturday around 12 pm upon arrival. All of the lifeguards were lovely. Very professional and they reassured that we were safe the whole time I had my two little nephews with me and they had the best time ever. I’d like to say thank you to everybody and all the staff, it was an amazing experience and I’ll definitely be coming again next summer with more of my family.

We have been meaning to visit this place for a while and finally made it there today. Took our 3 kids aged 9,6 and 5. We all had an absolutely brilliant time! Friendly helpful staff and a very enjoyable aqua course! Great way to tire the kids out 🤗
Dean W — Google review
My daughter and grandchildren had a great two hours here on the obstacle course and paddle boarding. The staff were courteous, knowledgeable and extremely helpful. The equipment and area was clean and tidy. It was reassuring to have alert and attentive lifeguards. The whole experience was fun and memorable, even for the watching grandparents. Nearby quality refreshments were available. If you like fun, excitement and exercise in pleasant surroundings, Aquapark is a great place to visit.

Staff really friendly and helpful and equipment clean . Lake was also clean and a nice atmosphere. Changing rooms are some what lacking however this is made very clear when you book so we came dressed ready to go and bought dry robes to changed. Only scored 3 stars as The space for kayaking was very small which meant no real exploring to the experience and there was no jetty so although staff supported us getting in the lake, it was a bit of a challenge getting out. Overall we had a lovely time but feel it was overpriced when compared to other places we have been

Great fun! We did this as a family of 4. My sister and I are in our 50’s, moody teenager of 15 and daughter aged 12. We all enjoyed it. It was also raining, which didn’t matter as we were already wet. Really friendly staff. Hilarious, whether rain or shine. Good value for money. Would book again!

Have taken my girls and their friends a few times to this aqua park. Brilliant service, fantastic friendly staff. The kids love it, and we also book the extra hour. On our last visit we used the restaurant on site which was very nice good, food and quick friendly service. Would definitely recommend visiting and we cant wait to come back again next week.

Fish & chips restaurant
Queens Park Fish & Chip shop is a popular spot in Mablethorpe, offering more than just fish and chips. The seating area outside provides a great place to enjoy the special fish and chips with mushy peas. Despite being in a prime location, the prices are reasonable. Mablethorpe town itself is charming, with plenty of activities for both children and parents, including its stunning beach with beautiful flat sand that's relatively uncrowded.
Great takeaway fish and chips at the seaside. Cooked fresh, not greasy and cold like you get in some places. Nicest I have in years!

Arriving in Mablethorpe at lunchtime we called in, it was a great choice. The first impression was good; very clean and bright, we chose to eat in and the service couldn't have been better with food and drink arriving quickly but obviously freshly cooked. The quality of the food was excellent and portions generous - good cup of tea too. Friendly staff AND the sun was shining!! We don't live locally but if we did we would be back. Thank you guys.
Derek S — Google review
Every time we visit Mablethorpe we always get fish and chips from here. Great food and friendly staff. The wait can be a bit long but with things cooked to order and how busy it can get, its understandable. Great place, highly recommend.
Bammy J — Google review
So often having the obligatory fish and chips on a seaside visit ends in disappointment, but pleased to say this wasn't the case yesterday. I had the XL cod and chips with mushy peas and cup of tea. The cod was lovely and flakey and encased in a nice crispy batter, the chips were beautifully soft centred with a crispy finish and the peas were good and unusually quite plentiful. The dining area was clean and well decorated with copies of historical railway posters of the area. Well worth a visit.

After a lovely walk along the beach front from Sutton, we called here for a late lunch. Although it was the start of the bank holiday weekend, we managed to get a seat at a table outside in the sunshine☀️ We were served by Ava, who was lovely and our food cooked to perfection by Callum. The lunchtime meal deal offers are great. We were very impressed. We have previously tried two other chip shops in the town and this one is, by far, the best for quality, portion size and value for money. Highly recommended. (No photos this time, will add when we visit again)
Gemma A — Google review
We come to this chip shop more than once during our holiday. The quality has always been good, the value for money is fantastic and we have never had a bad meal. Sometimes when we go there can be a wait, but we know how to wait patiently and don't expect to have our food as soon as we paid. We can't wait to visit for this years holiday.

* Service charge for adults 80 pence, kids - 40 pence for eating in ( which I understand/ don't mind ). Clean and nice place to have you lunch or dinner. Friendly staff and reasonable prices. Pay parking right behind it. Free toilets for paying customers only ( there is a free public toilet a minute away ).
Titanium X — Google review
For a fish and chip shop which specialises in chips, over 15 mins for 2 small chip and a curry sauce isn't on. If your running low on chips chuck some more in. Serve the small orders while fish is frying. Although the fish did look lovely and couldn't knock the quality of chips. Microwave kebab meat did look like dog food.

We have just had possibly the best pizza's ever. Freshest ingredients, amazingly tasty with the homemade garlic mayonnaise which was outstanding. Would definitely recommend. 😍

opted for delivery ordered at 7 estimated said would arrive at 8:30 quite long but anyway notified delivery driver left at just past 8:30 we’re only a 3 min drive so no problem. called up 15 mins later saying got lots of other delivery’s will be past 9pm. delivery driver was at wrong area told me was by ferry boat inn with music by the benches walk down the road not here says he’s by the beck 1.2miles away only down the road from them. chips are fries and food wasn’t amazing. only thing good was the chicken burger. ordered here many times over the past 7 years never had this experience before.

I’m sorry but can I just ask what this is after order a wrap and chips and receiving this for 9.50 is an absolute joke when going in to recrafy this I was shown on the managers phone that what I ordered was available to order on the online app but to further be told that they don’t do that anymore. They also told me there is no way they can refund me or even rectify my food or do anything about to then be told to not go back again. I highly doubt not recommend going to this place as they have poor customer services and false advertisement🤬😡!!!!!!

Awesome pizza. Really tasty. Definitely worth getting pizza from here. Great customer service and friendly delivery driver. Will be back for more

Absolutely delicious food. We tried the milkshakes, waffle and an ice cream and all were lovely! The server was very friendly and polite and helpful. The toilet facilities were also spotless and spacious for myself and young daughter. Will definitely come again!

What can I say? We have used this establishment for years, up till now we just had the usual late delivery. I’m very disheartened and angry at the service we received tonight, the food was wrong and got called a liar when the order email clearly says what we have ordered, we went in the shop and got asked to leave, we had to go into the shop because the phone never gets picked up. £9 for spendini and chips is robbery especially when we ordered a kebab. If you use this place expect cold food, the wrong order, missing items and to be called a liar.
Kirsty — Google review
Excellent customer service! A situation arose with my order, both the gentleman on the phone and the gentleman who delivered my order handled it with professionalism, kindness and care. I appreciate everything you did to resolve the issue without it coming across as being a bother to you, even though you had closed at this point. Thank you! P.s. the pizza’s were lovely, so worth the wait. Again thank you! :)

Found the woman serving ignorant as I asked her a question and she ignored me. Waitress was polite Food was ok. I think the kitchen needs to be blocked off so people can’t be near when they want to use the toilet, I found that to be unhygienic tbh.
