Seafood restaurant
Restaurant
RISTORANTE La Torre is a trendy rooftop eatery offering stunning marina views and creative pasta and seafood dishes. Located in the heart of Italy's Marche region, it provides a professional dining experience with a backdrop of the breathtaking Conero coastline. The restaurant prides itself on serving a seafood menu featuring locally sourced marine ingredients that tantalize the taste buds with their delicate flavors.
Unimaginably beautiful place with a spectacular panoramic view of the sea. The food was authentic but elevated and fabulous. Staff were competent, friendly and helpful. We had an amazing lunch! Even a simple salad is done with care and passion and quality here, let alone elaborate pasta dishes, seafood and sumptuous desserts. Highly recommend!

Incredible views in a very classy location, great service, almost a bit too fast. Great wine selections. I was more than a little disappointed by the toilet for women not having a toilet seat in such a classy restaurant also no hand soap and slightly unclean sinks at the start of the lunch service. Baby chance table though and would still highly recommend the resturant just hope they improve the loos soon 🤞

A Perfect Evening at La Torre – Numana’s known Gem We had a truly delightful experience at La Torre in Numana. From the moment we arrived, the cosy atmosphere and breathtaking views set the tone for a memorable evening. Nestled above the coastline, the restaurant offers a panoramic backdrop that’s hard to beat—especially as the sun begins to dip below the horizon. We were given a fantastic table that comfortably accommodated both us and our dog, Toffee, who was welcomed with genuine warmth. It’s rare to find a place that balances elegance with such a relaxed, pet-friendly vibe. We opted for the €50 tasting menu, which I highly recommend. It’s a curated journey through the restaurant’s most popular dishes, offering a generous and well-paced selection that showcases the kitchen’s strengths. Each course was thoughtfully prepared and beautifully presented, with flavors that felt both local and refined. To accompany the meal, we enjoyed a lovely bottle of local white wine—crisp, aromatic, and the perfect pairing for the seafood-forward menu. The staff, all young and incredibly friendly, were fast, professional, and attentive without ever being intrusive. For the quality of the food, the charm of the setting, and the overall experience, La Torre is a standout. Considering the location and price, it’s an easy 5-star rating from us. We’ll definitely be back—and Toffee gives it two paws up 🐾.

Google maps guided us perfectly to the restaurant. But we only saw their steak house. It was dark, so it was difficult to see the entrance of the classy restaurant. But we found it (when you're in front of the steak house, the other restaurant is on the left side). The staff is friendly and helpful. But because it's a big and popular restaurant, the staff is walking too fast. They almost run. The food is well presented and tastes delicious. It's a bit more expensive than the average restaurants in the neighbourhood, but it's worth it. Highly recommended. If you believe this review is useful, then please 'like' it.
Patrick N — Google review
The Food was delicious. I liked the starters so much I ordered for something extra but it probably wasn't a good idea to do in the middle of the starter because they forgot all about it; given how busy the place is , I understand! The portions were perfect for me because I never eat much and I managed to share some dishes with my Husband and it was more than enough for the both of us. We are definitely planning to come back another time.
AKELLO K — Google review
Great location on the "terrazza" overlooking the sea. The menu is short but very interesting. The cooking style is modern but they know how to treat seafud. Desserts are not exciting
Paolopolimi P — Google review
loved it, the view the food and they accommodated all the request we've made with the allergies. I really recommend it it's fantastic, totally worth the price❤️
Sofy P — Google review
La Torre it has been an exceptional experience traveling trough the center of Italy in the region of Marche. The restaurant present itself with a backdrop of the spectacular cliffs of the Conero coastline and is a very professional restaurant. They serve a seafood menu with local marine ingredients with a delicate taste that has declined our taste buds. Their selection of the ingredients is very balanced and is complemented by a short but thought wine list. This was my first visit but whenever I will return to the area I will make it a must to return visit again!!!

Beach
Nature & Parks
Spiaggia di Numana Alta is a stunning beach located in the ancient settlement of Numana, offering a spectacular view of the Adriatic Sea. The upper part features two pristine bays, Spiaggiola and Spiaggia del Frate, while the lower part boasts a vibrant tourist scene with a promenade, bike paths, and various beach attractions.
We spent several relaxing days at Spiaggiola in Numana, having booked two sunbeds and an umbrella. The beach itself is set in a stunning location—calm waters, scenic cliffs, and a peaceful atmosphere that makes it ideal for unwinding. The lido is well-managed by Maria Grazia, who clearly runs a tight ship. Everything was well-organized, dividing the beach in north and south with indication signs, from the sweet water showers to the changing rooms, bathrooms, and the on-site restaurant. It’s evident that guest comfort is a priority here. One small downside: the coveted first row of sunbeds was reserved for long-time returning guests, and although they remained mostly empty, they weren’t available to us. It’s a bit of a shame given the view from the front, but it didn’t detract too much from the overall experience. All in all, Spiaggiola offers a high-quality beach experience with excellent facilities and a beautiful setting. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Numana.

Beach
Spiaggia San Michele is one of the stunning beaches in the area, offering a nice and tidy beach with coarse sand and small stones. Visitors can swim, sunbathe, or relax on the free areas or rent umbrellas and beach loungers for a fee. The beach is easily accessible by bus from Sirolo or nearby parking lots. It provides clear water with a pleasant temperature and offers free showers and toilets.
Grand panorama onto the Adriatic ensconced within the rich environment of a nature reserve. Soothing breezes, warm waters and the aroma of evening Italian cooking on the beach. Some of the finest ocean views anywhere. But this isn't just anywhere - it's Italy ...

Tourist trap. 11€ for parking, shuttle bus only if you eat at their restaurant. 30€ for sunbeds and umbrella. Sea is nice
Dimitry L — Google review
Nice beautiful beach. Easy to access on foot via the road in 12-15 min. Umbrela and 2 sunbeds 30 Eur. Clear blue water. Nice waves.only issue ia some small jelly fish creature, which is harmeless but anoying to touch and fell.(weird sensation)
Sabin B — Google review
Nice, tidy beach with coarse sand and small stones. There are a few free places where you can lie down with your own stuff. If you want, you can rent an umbrella/parasol and beach loungers, but they are rather expensive (min. 20€ per day). Showers and toilets are free to use. Best way to reach the beach is via Bus from the town of sirolo or one of the parking lots. Tickets are 1€ per person and trip. Water is clear (not heavily clouded) and had a pleasant temp.
Lukas B — Google review
Zero star... We tried to rent a kayak here. The quality of service was disappointing. The behavior of one of the employees was unacceptable. The woman was extremely rude and rigid, which made communication completely impossible. This type of behavior is unacceptable in the tourism industry. I definitely do not recommend this company. Choose the yellow kayak company in this beach
Erika H — Google review
It's beautiful. But ... there's no sand, it's all gravel and rocks. The water is very clean precisely because there is no sand. But ... just as you enter the water there's an immediate 3 foot drop off the shoreline. Getting to this Beach is also a pain: must park far away, walk 1/2 Mike, then take a shuttle bus. Summary: nice place to see, not great if your feet are sensitive or you're not a great swimmer.
Franco B — Google review
Really good beach, nice clear waters, the sunbeds are expensive(18 euros for two) so bring your own towel and umbrela, can be accessed by foot but it's quite steep to get there, or by bus 1 euro each way. Enjoy
Teo P — Google review
Nice but it gets shadow quite early in the afternoon and to reach it is quite a trek...also it does not have a good food option. The only kiosk only serves prepackaged sandwiches which are quite terrible....I liked Urbani beach much better (you can walk on the beach between the 2)

Outdoor Activities
Spiaggia Sassi Neri, also known as Black Rock Beach, is a picturesque and rustic destination located near the Conero mountain. The long stretch of coastline features clear blue waters and dark rocks that create a striking contrast with the sea. This natural beach is ideal for snorkeling due to its deep waters and is perfect for those seeking relaxation away from the crowds.
Beautiful beach with all necessary amenities - it has beach beds and umbrellas to rent, toilet, outdoor shower, snack & drink bar and a restaurant. A bit of a climb so best if you can grab a bus on the way back. There are also stairs at the very end to reach the beach so it won’t work for people that aren’t mobile.
Anya L — Google review
Beach was good . After evening, it is being full of waves and there's no sun so be carefull! There's a bar nearby that is selling almost everything, but its nothing special. There's also a public transportation ( a gren bus) that can bring u from the beginning of the way down to the end and its all free, but be carefull, the last ride is at 18.30, so organise yourself in order to be at the bus stop around 18!!
Gianmaria A — Google review
This place is WOW!!! The rocks on the shore as you walk further down the beach aren’t slippery. Just the waves will get you a bit, other than that amazing view on the other side of the big pink rock. If you want to experience something unique and pink this is the place!

August 6. Arrived at the public parking area 12:15. Guard said parking is now closed and will open again 1 o’clock, luckily he opened again 12:40. €10 for the whole day. Two sunbeds with umbrella €24 or 26 if you also want the bus ticket back. Restaurant is available.
Kurt E — Google review
Really beautiful beach!!! The water is clear and there is a lot to see underwater for people interested in a bit of snorkeling. Clean and not overly full of people. From the city of Sirolo there is maybe 20 minutes on foot and a bit more to return, but it can be done by everyone (I had with me a friend that is the opposite of athletic and he was able to do it...grumbling but he did)
Anna B — Google review
'Sassi neri" is a renowned beach close to the Conero mountain and it's, for sure, a very nice place where to spend a day with a family or friends. But let's start from the beginning. After leaving your car in a parking you can choose between taking a bus or two different trails. First dirt road is not for children and not for unhealthy people. Don't take it also if you have only flip_flops because it's steep and dangerous. Second one is a normal road but steeper than the other. (If you take this solution you can also ask for bus service that cost 2 euro for the round trip) After 30 min (5 with bus) you will reach "sassi neri beach" a pleasant place sourrounded by green and lush vegetation with clear blue sea water. (for sure better than Emilia Romagna coast which is usually green). Down there, there is also a restaurant and few bars where to take a drink or a coffee. To conclude, Sassi Neri e San Michele is a very nice place but if you have altready been in Sardinia or Puglia or Sicily don't expect to find places like that. Cheers

Monte Conero

Mountain peak
Monte Conero, also known as Mount Conero, is a stunning promontory located on the Adriatic coast just south of Ancona. It is the centerpiece of the Conero Park, a protected ecological area with 18 trails and numerous archaeological sites. Rising about 570 meters above sea level, this mountain is renowned for its berry trees and offers some of the best hiking tracks in the Ancona province, providing breathtaking panoramic views of the coastline.
My recommendation is to download an app called KOMOT there Isa lot of routes for hikers / bikers .we did a loop from this app in Sirolo and Monte conero and it was perfect!!!!
Reuven K — Google review
An enchanting and surprising place. Great for the seaside but also for hiking and natural beauties.
Elena G — Google review
A mountainous relief located on the Adriatic Sea, protruding from the coast. It is 572mt high and its tracks taking to the top are pretty shallow making it accessible to amateurs trekkers. The best way to have a full wandering experience on this mount is to start the hike at the Poggio (bus line 93). The path starting from there takes straight to the top -punto di vista-. Then, it’s just a stroll punctuated with breathtaking sights till a former convent. It you want to proceed farther, you can descend the valley to the beaches of Sirolo and Numana. You will be immersed in the green all along the way. Lovely and unforgettable experience.
Matteo C — Google review
Monte Conero, beautiful and majestic every season, in winter protects us from the cold northern winds that cause disturbances, creating a mild microclimate throughout the year. Nice to see it from the sea, as it protrudes this promontory in the Riviera, with fascinating beaches of different kinds, white stones, black stones, sand, gravel. It is easy to make a trip from the sea to see the 2 Sisters, two peaks on the sea, and it is easy to make excursions on the mountain, to enjoy the view. Climbing up the mountain there is Sirolo with its fantastic views, below there is numana with its port, from the opposite side to the north, above the wind, there is Portonovo a beautiful bay. I do not know what to say, the alleys of these villages full of very beautiful constructions, with breathtaking views, in continuous ups and downs. Simply Monte Conero.
Giuseppe — Google review
Just love this place ,but prefer it out of season , else there are to many people ,but it´s amazing and you can find some fantastic stones with holes and lots of driftwood ,it look like a beach from paradise !
Bent A — Google review
Conero is the part of the Conero National Park and it is around 570 meter high from sea level; the mountain is famous for its berry trees. During my hiking trip through the narrow tracks on the hill in the month of November I collect few and the berries were very savory. Conero has the best hiking tracks in the Ancona province with beautiful panoramic views of the coast. The conero forest of the park is dense and vast, needs an experienced guide to go through the tracks to have a safe trip.

What is really good in this place is the service. The staff is very attentive and friendly. You feel well looked after. The menu itself is interesting but the dishes are not up to the prices. Better to take either simple dished or piadina and ice cream.

After a few hours at the beach, Great view, served us lunch at 3pm after the usual lunch time. I had the fried olives stuffed with fish x 2 (so delicious) and the frizzantino by the glass. Husband had the ravioli stuffed with sole and pumpkin. Lovely waiter not phased by speaking English. Delicious desserts too

Amazing view of the Adriatic Sea and only a few steps up from the beach. Great food and even better service.
Greg F — Google review
My partner and I had dinner at this restaurant last night. He had “Cozze Marinara” and “Homemade Gnocchi allo Scoglio”, I had the “Vegan Ravioli”. The quality of his food was very nice, I believe a bit too pricey as the portions were pretty small. My ravioli were horrendous, I would have expected something more elaborated than plain tomato sauce with an undefined cheap filling (cannot tell what was in it, neither the waiter). Very unhappy about it but I understand it’s a fish restaurant so they’re not specialized in vegan/vegetarian meals. The location is very beautiful but not easy to get to. The waiter was trying his best, he definitely needs some more training and knowledge of the menu. I believe there are better places to go for dinner in Numana and around.

Seafood restaurant
Ristorante da Silvio is a casual open-air eatery with a rustic ambiance and stunning sea views. It's located near a beautiful beach with clean water and small stones, offering an alternative to crowded Croatian beaches. The restaurant is well-connected to nearby areas and provides shuttle services for convenience. Guests praise the delicious seafood dishes, generous portions, and the fantastic atmosphere. Despite its size, the restaurant maintains a relaxed vibe with friendly staff.
Fantastic atmosphere with seaview. All was delicious, the portions are huge. The only dish I did not like was the red cabbage salad with too much fennel seeds in it, which no matter I sent back, had to pay for it. There is a shuttle service every 30 minutes that took us to the restaurant. It is well organized.

Yummy seafood, but costly! Portion sizes are very generous but we regret ordering too much because most dishes have the same fish in each of them. The view is beautiful, if youre lucky enough to get a seat in front of it, but there aren't many. Also we had a dog barking behind us almost the entire time we were eating and neither the dogs owner or the staff at the restaurant did/said anything about it. Not sure if that's normal here, but a barking dog should be either removed from the situation or told to stop barking (at least) by its owner. She just kept drinking and chatting as if nothing was happening, and the staff didn't seem to care, even if it was clearly ruining our/other clients experience. In our booking we also mentioned it was my partners birthday and they didn't care, gave us a table in the corner far from the view and didn't even wish my partner a happy birthday. If youre at this beach and don't want to travel for lunch it's a great option, but I wouldn't travel there just for this place as it wasn't really that special.

Da Silvio is connected with San Michelle from south and Neri with nide beach from North. To get there from parking is like 1 km or you can get the local bus for free if you rent a set of 1 umbrella and 2 beds for 18E otherwise the bus is for 1E or so. The sun is shining here to around 5.30 pm. Worth trying.

Seafood restaurant
Lido
Ristorante e stabilimento balneare Il Cucale is an elegant coastal establishment offering refined oceanic cuisine and pasta. Set against a picturesque seaside backdrop, this restaurant boasts a terrace that provides stunning views of the beach. As a local, but also a tourist living abroad, I highly recommend experiencing the fantastic quality and meticulous attention to detail at this top seafood eatery. The food and service are both excellent, making it a must-visit culinary destination for seafood lovers.
I was again in this restaurant in front of the beach, where food and wine will be served in a professional way, well organized from Roberto.Waiting next summer impatiently,to visit this restaurant again.

Highly recommend this restaurant. Food was amazing and the desserts even better. It’s a 95% seafood menu so anyone that’s not into their seafood will struggle with the menu. Great beach setting and atmosphere. Old school Italian waiters were a pleasant surprise which enhanced our experience compared to everywhere else we tried along the strip.
Sebastian P — Google review
A very good fish restaurant set in a beautiful place by the sea Il Cucale is a locally well known restaurant in Marcelli, on the Adriatic coast of Marche Region. Good (sometimes great) local traditional food in an immaculate setting. The place: set in a 1930s building, the restaurant has been nicely renovated along the years preserving its original architecture. It is right on the beach giving the guests this feeling of being on holidays. The prevailing colour is white which also contribute to give this light and fresh feeling. Table set is nice, with fabric table cloth and napkins. While not particularly innovative or offering any “wow” factor, the place makes the guest feel comfortable. Tables are reasonably spaced. The service: interesting fact is that most of customers are regulars (including me that have been here for over 15 years) so the service is very much personal including some chats about each other lives. But in general the service is really good, professional and friendly, made by people that do their jobs since forever and know very well how to do it. The food: the fresh pasta with fish ragù was really good. Fresh past is the specialty of the restaurant and their fish ragù is outstanding. Really good plate. Tuna steak unfortunately was a miss. In part my bad ordering an ocean fish instead of locally fished fresh products, but still, the tuna was almost tasteless. A pity. Home made chips were really good. The deconstructed Millefoglie was also a highlight of the dinner. In general looking at the menu and the plates passing by, il Cucale offers simple and great local food following the culinary tradition of the area. If a critique can be made, their food is not innovative or creative in any way. So if you are looking to be surprised, you better make a different choice of restaurant. What you will get here is solid and delicious local recipes. Ah, you get freshly made bread (focaccia) all along your meal which is really good The price: the dinner costed around 50 euro. A fair price. The fish dish was not really good, but prices are quite harmonised so for the same cost you could have a much better fish. Considering the setting and the food it is a good price in the range of similar choices in the area. Overall the restaurant is a very good option. I suggest to eat outside when possible. You almost have your feet in the sand and the terrace is nice. Food is good or really good depending of your choices, but it would step up if at least some creative dishes were offered. Service is really nice, professional and friendly.

My family and I popped into the restaurant for lunch and they were able to accommodate the 3 of us in early September after the summer rush of tourists. The food was great and unexpectedly the bread was freshly baked, warm, and very good. The seafood risotto and pasta was good. To top it off the deserts were divine especially the spuma di mascarpone coffee dish. The staff was very friendly and attentive. I high recommend.

This is one of the most appreciated restaurants in Marcelli. Not very big, yet a little cozy jewel, due to the excellent and tasty food (for instance you can't miss mix fried fish/vegetables out), friendly and attentive team (especially with regards to Covid's precautions) as well as its reasonable price (when compared with top quality service and food). My wife and I went one Saturday evening in high season (end of August), and gladly we made an advanced reservation just a couple of hours before, as it is always fully taken. Others, who came later with no booking, regrettably couldn't find any available table. If you'd find yourself around that area, my suggestion is to give this good restaurant a chance to surprise you.

Spiaggia del Frate - Sottosanta is a stunning beach with pebbly sand and turquoise waters, nestled in the upper part of the area alongside the almost secret and immaculate bays of Spiaggiola. The lower part offers a vibrant tourist experience with a promenade, bike paths, and beaches with various attractions and services.
Stunning beach of gravel sand. It is beautiful but accessing it is a bit of a trek. You can take a bus but it is pretty crowded at some times, if you are athletic would definitely recommend the walk. Water isn’t that transparent but still very nice and warm. There is a public shower you can use for free which is really nice! The village above is also amazing to explore

Very clear water but quite deep so not ideal for families with small kids . £10 a day parking at the hotel , food and drink at the beach . 5 minutes walk from the car park easier downstairs but bloody hard uphill. £20 for sunbeds so very reasonable
Daniel U — Google review
Unfortunately the water alongside the whole beach was very muddy with a lot of residue, algae, mud or something else so it was not possible to get in. The beach is very crowded which kills the atmosphere. Yes, the view of the cliffs is beautiful but overall we found the whole place very overrated with much better and more convenient beaches not far away. Although to be fair on a different day with clean sea and less crowds this could have been a 5 star place.

Super crowded, and because of that it looks nothing like the beautiful pics you see here. €40 for 2 beds and parasol in the back row (so zero views) No (good) food. Never again.

(Translated by Google) Numana is a fishing village with a characteristic historic center, located on the slopes of Monte Conero. The name "Numana" has ancient origins and could derive from the Sun god or from the protection of a deity. The Bishop's Palace, now the Town Hall, and the Sanctuary of the Crucifix, dating back to around 1500, overlook the Piazza del Santuario. The exterior is quite modern. The interior of the church has a Greek plan. It houses an ancient wooden Crucifix, of considerable value in Byzantine style from the Holy Land, perhaps brought by Charlemagne as a gift to Pope Leo III. From the Piazza del Santuario, continuing along the road, you come across the underground remains of the ancient Roman aqueduct and, a little further on, there is also a large ruin of one of the destinations of the Roman circus. At the end of the avenue you reach Piazza Nuova, with a splendid panoramic terrace overlooking the beaches of Numana Alta and the profile of Monte Conero that plunges into the sea. At the most panoramic point of the Piazza Nuova lookout, there is the Panchina dell’Amore, where you can take a souvenir photo.

The square is clean, but the fountain could use a bit of cleaning, as it's full of algae and vegetation, and the water is greenish. Just ahead, you can descend to the Belvedere, where you'll find a romantic bench overlooking one of Italy's most iconic beaches. (Original) Piazza di Numana affacciata sul mare con un piccolo locale. This is probably the best pizza place I've ever been to. Starting out, the people who own the place are incredibly kind, helpful, professional and skilled. You always feel welcomed and appreciated when you go there! Their food is incredible. Truly unique. They make a very special pizza dough, using only local whole wheat from the Marche region of Italy. They also let the dough leaven for a very long time. It's the perfect combination of crispiness and softness, my mouth is watering as I'm writing this lol. The dough is extremely easy to digest. I ate abundantly and felt great afterwards. It's truly an authentic local pizzeria, it's as real as it gets. It's a taste of the beautiful region of Marche. Truly. The ingredients are extremely fresh and are local, the pizza dough is the best I've ever eaten, and the family that runs the place is warm and welcoming.

Ricci Pescato & Fritto di Ricci Fernando is a modest restaurant with a terrace that offers a variety of seafood, including lobster, fish, and mussels. The establishment is run by the Ricci family, who are fishermen with their own fishing boat and strong relationships with local suppliers. This allows them to showcase a rich selection of fresh catch daily, which includes crustaceans and shellfish.

Perfect place for lunch! One of the few remaining spots where local fishermen offer fresh, daily catches—fried on the spot. You'll need to grab a number and wait your turn, but it's worth it. Once called, you can choose from a selection of fresh fish, and they'll fry it up just the way you like it. Price is €35 per kilo. I tried it and absolutely loved it—super fresh and full of flavor. Highly recommended! 👍

The moment you get inside, you can choose out a variety of fish and seafood what do you want to get as fried! There are squid, shrimp, tuna etc a lot and just caught by the sea. Their cold options are also insane. Fritas takes around 30 mins to be ready so i can suggest that to order cold ones while waiting fries. The place opens at 7pm. If you would like to eat quickly, better to be in front of the place 30-45 mins earlier and get your number for the queue. Otherwise you need to wait around 1hr. Taste and price are absoluetly amazing and worth to try!
