Hiking area
Park
Parco Naturale Monte San Bartolo, established in 1994, is a stunning natural retreat that stretches along the Adriatic Sea, offering breathtaking views of the water. The park covers an area of approximately 1600 hectares and encompasses notable heights such as Castellaro, San Bartolo, Casteldimezzo, and Fiorenzuola di Focara. Visitors can observe diverse flora and fauna thriving in this picturesque landscape.
Beautiful views from the top! Several benches available to sit down and have a rest as the walk down is okay but on your return, you’re walking up the hill which was challenging for me as I was carrying a baby. Also, wear solid footwear as it may be a little slippy.

You should not expect a scenic coastal drive here. The road runs mostly on the inner edge of the coastal ridge, and you won't see anything unless you stop at the designated viewpoints - where there are not too many parking places available. We could not visit any of the villages on the way to Pesaro on this route in July - because all parking places were full. I would advise to plan smaller hikes in this area, that must be very nice. On the flip side, the scenery is pretty much the same everywhere we stop: endless sea, meeting endless sky on the horizon. Don't get me wrong, it is spectecular, but you would not stop for this same view 5 times and fight for parking place every time, right? We expected a coastal scenic drive based on touristic recommendations - which is not the case here - hence the 2 stars.

One of the most beautiful beaches in Italy. It's clean and let's keep it that way. Be prepared to walk a bit there is a road to it but only allowed on foot so Parc in the parcing stops next to the town.

Clean and nice camping! Beautiful place, bathrooms looks modern, nice swimming pool (only one thing - everyone needs a swimming cap, if you don't have - you can buy for 4€). We were happy our experience! 🗺

Very high up and amazing views, need a car as to steep to walk, resturants and bars at top with viewing piaza, can see for many miles including san marino and rimini.

A much needed waft of fresh air and beauty viewing the coast from above. We sat under the shade of a spiny acacia tree 🌳 absorbing the quiet of nature and cool breeze. The day had been hot and humid in town so driving up to St. Bartolo park reserve was the perfect opportunity.
Nives T — Google review
It is a hard and long way to get down the road to the beach. The beach itself is not very clean. There is no trash but a lot of wood and stones. The way back up to the village is rly hard!

30 minutes walk from parking place. It’s a magical beach. Few people, warm sea, clean beach. If you have a comfortable sandals, you must try this beach. There is a small shop here, you can buy cold drink, coffee, and some food.

(Translated by Google) I would like to write "horrible place" to ensure that it remains for a few. A magical place. Among our favourites. The hamlet is enchanting, you can breathe in the Romagna air in a great way... and then the beach, wonderful. Today he was already taking a bath. A few small jellyfish but nothing dangerous. Getting to the sea is not within everyone's reach and especially going up the road (pedestrian only with the exception of a summer period when you can get there with a small bus but we have never tried) especially when it starts to get hot. Very steep and long road, about 20 minutes or maybe more, little shade. A prayer, the plastic (glass, etc.) that you will bring down full, put it in your backpack and throw it up in town. Avoid leaving signs of incivility in this natural and pleasant place, you will benefit too. Thank you.

(Translated by Google) The place is certainly ideal for those who want to enjoy a breathtaking view of the Adriatic. The lookout is small but very romantic, and there's a lovers' path with benches for admiring the landscape, meditating, or reading. The location is refreshing, and from here you could take a thirty-minute walk down the mountain, zigzagging along the road to the beach. The return journey is more challenging because it's uphill, and after hours in the sun (there are no services, not even a beach bar to buy water) and swimming in the crystal-clear water, you might feel tired. Whenever guests arrive, a trip to Fiorenzuola di Focara is a must! There's no entrance fee.

Villa Imperiale Pesaro, named after Emperor Frederick III, is a splendid palatial home and Mannerist garden complex that served as the summer retreat for nobility during the late Renaissance. Although it remains a private residence, visitors can book tours on Wednesday afternoons from June to mid-September. Additionally, nearby historic villas like Villa Caprile with elegant gardens and the imposing Villa Imperiale are worth visiting when open.
It is a wonderful experience to visit it. A Renessaince residence, build on the side of an earlier residence. Fascinating architecture. Private owners allow visits at specified time, and it is advisable to reserve in advance

The amiable and accommodating staff make it an ideal choice for visitors seeking assistance. A definite must-try is their delectable "piadina," which promises to leave your taste buds satisfied. Pair it with one of their superb craft beers and revel in the scenic sea view from their comfortable benches. Don't miss out on their scrumptious ice creams either!

Pizza restaurant
Ok...
Nicolai G — Google review
(Translated by Google) Small place that also has tables outside and ample parking nearby. Province pizzas by the slice but also to take away. It is advisable to book if you want to eat on site because it has few tables (a shame!!) The pizza has a long leavening process and is therefore very digestible. The staff governs and is eager to do things. The pizzas are more than cheap. We ate on site. Despite many orders being placed, they served us in a short time. Well stuffed pizzas. With a large salad (tuna, boiled eggs, black olives, corn, morsels of mozzarella, cherry tomatoes, green salad, rocket and radicchio) a freshly baked cyclist was brought to accompany it, included in the €6 price. Superlative price-quality. If you want to eat a delicious pizza, go there. Qualità-prezzo superlativo. Se volete mangiare una buonissima pizza, andateci. Coperto € 0,50

(Translated by Google) The pizzeria is located along the road, secondary but still very busy. It has a small dirt parking lot on the side but mainly you stop to pick up the pizza even if it has several tables for those who want to dine directly there. The pizza has a low dough, very common in the city. Slightly crunchy on the crust; I liked the toppings but not so much the dough that I had a hard time digesting.

Gibas is a stunning spot just outside Pesaro — perfect for a sunset dinner. The view is absolutely breathtaking, especially as the sun dips over the hills and coastline. The food was delicious, refined yet relaxed, and the wine list is truly impressive, with great local and national options. We enjoyed it so much, we went twice during our stay. Beautiful setting, excellent food, and a memorable experience all around. Highly recommended!

What a lovely place! The soft shell crabs are a seasonal item and it’s a must have. They were sweet & juicy and were the best soft shell crabs I’ve ever had. The passatelli comes with generous portions of fish & seafood. The spaghetti with sea urchins is cooked al dente and you can taste the freshness of the uni. All the seafood is so fresh and extremely well cooked. Personally I really like the lemon sorbet as there seems to be some milk in it, unlike other sorbets that taste mainly ice. The entire meal costs EUR91 (for 2 persons) which I think is reasonably priced. I wish to go back and try more of their dishes soon!

Visitors can admire the beautiful Gothic-style architecture and masterful Giotto paintings reminiscent of Assisi, Italy.
Beautiful Cathedral with stunning ancient mosaics. Highly suggested to visit.

Well worth a visit! A cathedral dating back to 400 AD (i think). During some restoration work, roman mosaics were found under the floor in really good condition. These have now been made visible through glass floor panels in the current flooring. It is quite spectacular. The church itself is also a wonderful example of various types of architecture. If you are in Pesaro you should visit!

Great and imposing castle in the centre of Pesaro, that must be acknowledged. However, this construction falls short of expectations due to (1) being in need of renovation and (2) being closed while the refurbishment allegedly continues. A walk around the fortress might be pleasant if you happen to be in the city, but as other reviewers have pointed out, more could be done to restore this marvel to its former glory.

Nice if you are interested in his music. There was a lot about an obscure Oprah (Matilde). I would have preferred to learn a bit more about the composer.

Art Museums
The Visual Arts Center Pescheria of Pesaro is a significant cultural establishment in the heart of the city, housed in a historic building that was once a fish market. Since its opening in 1996, it has been dedicated to showcasing contemporary art through exhibitions, events, workshops and displays featuring both local and international artists. The center also contributes to the city's artistic landscape with modern sculptures like the Big Sphere by Arnaldo Pomodoro.
Whether you like the exhibitions that are arranged in this venue, that's one question. Ticket prices and subject matter may or may not intrigue you, that's a certainty. However, regardless of what is being displayed, this is a very well-kept space for exhibiting all sorts of installations in the centre of Pesaro. For this reason, five stars are deserved.

No art, no artists for a long time (this applies to the entire city), but this is the only exhibition space where something could have been. And yet, everything is visible from the outside (no point in going in). 2025 has been earmarked for a single artist (I fear it will be like this for a long time). People sit and drink beer and relax on the side steps... in the summer on Thursdays, you even get fish skewers at the tables of the local restaurants that decorate the street. It's all very confusing. Awful situation. (Original) Spazio espositivo da tempo senza veri contenuti .Da tempo No arte No artisti . Polo Pasta & Pizza is a popular dining spot in Pesaro, offering a bright indoor space and a charming terrace for al fresco dining. The menu features delectable seafood pasta, gluten-free pizza, and local wines. Visitors recommend trying the Rossiccia pizza with sausage and the fritto misto for mixed fried fish with vegetables.
Eating this Dish will take you to the heaven if you are a sea food lover. I highly recommend this place! Don't feel discouraged by "The Italian manner of the waiter" - go for it as it worth every penny spent there!

My girlfriend and I ate here on a few occasions. As I’m not Italian but she is half Italian so the first two times she chose meals for us to share from the menu. Food was good, service was slow and I felt as though I wasn’t particularly welcome. The third time we went I asked for the English menu and was surprised to see that anything I ordered from the English menu cost a euro more than if I ordered it from the Italian menu that my partner was ordering from. I kind of figured that the unwelcome feeling was justified after that and haven’t returned. Shame as the food was good.
Karl A — Google review
That was extremely strange and disappointing experience. We wanted to step by in the evening to have some dessert, drinks and coffee. Surprisingly, they refused to serve us, claiming that "only dessert is not possible". That was weird and incomprehensible, especially that a lot of tables were available. They definitely didn't gain a customer for the coming days, we will use other, more friendly places.

Very good surprise on the seaside of Pesaro. The cuisine is creative and tasty and reflects the passion of the chef. Every dish is very well balanced and includes many ingredients. The personnel is young, nice and professional. The location is nice, just in front of the sea.

My girlfriend and I were ready for a special evening at Nostrano in Pesaro. The expectation was high, but was unfortunately not matched by the restaurant. We waited for about 20+minutes from sit down till we got water and service. Not a very busy evening, 60% full. The food was ok, but for the price you pay - not worth it.

The best gnocchi I’ve ever had. They are fresh and delicious. Tomato sauce is a bit acid, but the one in red wine and gorgonzola is excellent. Friendly and welcoming service. I recommend.

Great selection of dishes native to Pesaro. I was told they make their pasta by hand. Definitely recommend the tagliatelle ragu. Their staff are the most attentive and warm people. The restaurant itself is part of history. If you go below the cellars, there are ancient Roman structures and mosaics.

Very nice lunch. Deserves more than a 4 star, but not quite a 5 star. Tasty food. Very good prices for the quality. Cozy traditional atmosphere. My companion's Gnocchi di Bacco was outstanding. They were out of my preferred choice, so I had arrostino instead, as recommended by our server. It was fine. Also we received the wrong contorni, but we chose to just eat it rather than deal with a delay. Good wine selections/prices, especially for vino della casa. It is evident why these folks have such a well-regarded reputation.

Very nice rustic restaurant in the old town in Pesaro. The building feels historic and has a nice atmosphere. The dishes are typical Italian - mainly meat but also some fish options. Great service from the waitresses. Prices very reasonable for Central Town and good wine with my favourite Red Wine!

Very fine italian kitchen, with lousy poor service! We had the bad luck of getting serviced by a girl who was treating us, like we were there to disturb her peace. From the start she brought us warm wine, then I had to ask for wine glasses, other option was to drink from the bottle. We shared the starter in 3 persons but no side plates, again we had to manage ourselves eating on some napkins. On second courses I had to beg for some parmesan cheese for our pastas....Lousy service, zero tips! Disappointing! The kitchen otherwise, top! We went there last year also, the same standard!
