An unassuming place from the outside. I was late and the only real choice was the dish of the day - and what a great choice it was. Highly recommend.

Very small intimate bistro, right next to the Pont, got there on rainy night about 9p afterlong drivefrom Barcelona, we thought they were closed. Sorry we didn't get the host's name, very nice young man, who waited on us, cleared the tables, washed the dishes, took our orders, explained the menu, was extremely friendly, helpful and solicitous, to the point of replacing my sisters fork when it fell on the floor (<5 seconds!!) and providing toothpicks without prompting. Turns out this bistro is one of my wife's cousin's favorite spots and we now know why. It was only him and the chef, who was also very nice and funny and did great job with our food. For some reason, 3 out of 4 of us ordered the duck confit, not spectacular but very good. The baby squid was also very good and our 4th member had the pork sausage that was just right for him. Highly recommended, sorry no pics.

Better go elsewhere. Male waiter behind the bar was very rude when we arrived. I said hello and that we have a reservation (in English) and he replied in French which I did not understand, then I tried to say in French that I have a reservation, he responds rudely in English (which it seems he perfectly understands and speaks, just didn't want to) to ask the name. Then he gave us the worst table at the restaurant, right next to the kitchen and toilet. The kitchen was in a disgusting state. The food was okay for the price. Not great by any stretch, but you get what you pay for. The duck confit was rubbery and tough. The salad was very lacking. The bread was good. The roast potatoes also very good. The female waitress that served took our orders and served the food was very friendly and polite.

Restaurant
Le Loft Café is a highly recommended establishment in a small town with an inviting atmosphere and a new menu that offers a reasonable selection. The prices are very reasonable, and the service is excellent with minimal waiting time. The restaurant strictly follows sanitary measures, ensuring a safe dining experience. The food served at Le Loft Café is of exceptional quality, making it an absolute must-visit place for anyone looking to enjoy great cuisine.
I don’t usually leave reviews, but as an English woman who is accustomed to great food at reasonable prices in the U.K., this restaurant hit the spot! I don’t usually like to eat out in France as I usually find them too fatty and boring. However, the meals at this restaurant were absolutely delicious! A word of warning: this restaurant only serves 2 to 3 set meal choices (see the menu tab of this Google business page). For me, it didn't matter, as I'd rather have fewer choices cooked nicely than the usual ton of choices with manufactured taste. I would deduct 0.5 stars as I would've liked a menu for vegetarians. Nevertheless, I added the 0.5 stars for the lovely staff who adapted and provided meatless portions. Summary: - Beautiful location away from street - Great views of greenery and river - Reasonable prices - Fast service - Smiling staff - Clean - Limited choice but cooked to perfection

O Bistrot gourmand is a charming and welcoming restaurant that offers a delightful dining experience. Located by chance, it provided a comfortable atmosphere after being turned away from another establishment due to overcrowding. Despite the language barrier, the staff was accommodating and served the recommended daily 3 course lunch, which was reasonably priced. Each dish was delectable, showcasing delicious flavors and using high-quality ingredients sourced locally.
My wife and I stumbled upon this place by accident today. After being asked to leave another restaurant across town because it was “too full”, we felt right at home here. We do not speak French, and simply asked for what the guy at the next table over had. It turned out to be the daily 3 course lunch that was very reasonably priced. Each dish was delicious! fantastic, best Pizzas ever, even from Italy.... very thin crust base with so much topping. Are you open yet after a 'drive in' lady demolished your front of house? I hope so...... courage to all .... a bientôt .... ian.

We've been waiting 1h and a half to eat 4 pizzas that never arrived because we've left. The pizzeria was crowded and there was only one person doing pizzas. The waitress was ignoring us and when we told her that we were leaving, she replied us disrespectfully. If you can't cope with so many customers, don't let them be there.

(Translated by Google) This restaurant doesn't just do pizzas... so the salmon pizza we ordered was nothing special. It was, overall, "ordinary": thin crust, relatively overcooked, and overcooked. The wait was a bit long to get our food and even to pay. The restaurant's decor was bland and soulless, but the staff were friendly.

(Translated by Google) Disappointing. I ordered two pizzas for in an hour. An hour later, at 8:30 p.m. as planned, I came to pick up my pizzas. I asked once: they stared at me. Then a second time: still no concrete answer. I waited... several waiters walked past me, but no one seemed to notice me. Ten minutes later, I went to the counter to ask if there was a pizza. The waitress replied, in an obnoxious tone: "Oh, well, I don't know!" I finally left without my pizzas.

(Translated by Google) A pizzeria where you can eat something other than pizzas, which are still pretty good, without being anything special... On the other hand, the price remains reasonable, considering what you can find these days. So, a decent value for money. The service was a bit slow, but the staff is pleasant, especially the pizza chef who won't hesitate to come and serve you and make sure everything is going well, with a smile. A large free parking lot is located right across the street. (Translated by Google) Beautiful cathedral. UNESCO world heritage. What a shame that the French state is dealing with this so poorly. Moisture problems and the plaster with paintings is deteriorating. If this church had been in Paris, millions would probably have been thrown at it. (Original) Prachtige kathedraal. Amazing food. Great location and ambiance. Jolly owner. Somewhat stressed waitresses.

Went there for our last proper dinner in southern France and it was terrific: andouilette cassoulet, linguine w/ baby clams in a rich white sauce, smoked lamb, maigret d'canard, marrow, escargot, foie gras.....it will be so hard to go back to the states and eat out. 2 weeks and I barely gained an ounce (believe it or not!!), plus a nice walk in the neighborhood after dinner - magnifique! Recommended!
Ishka B — Google review
Located next to the cathedral in a quiet square La Part Des Anges lives up to its reputation. We ate off the fixed price menu and enjoyed everything. The quality of the food and its presentation were first class. A three course meal for two with plenty of wine was less than €100. We felt this to be good value. Although not the warmest evening, the tables were set up outside which allowed us to take in the splendour of the Romanesque/Gothic cathedral. The service was a bit low-key but perfectly acceptable. Would very happily return.

Wonderful. The only word for it. We turned up without a reservation at 7.30 pm on a Sunday, just as they were opening. We were met by a very friendly young lady who confirmed we could eat and were shown to one of 3 tables for 2, but not before we had our hands sanitized. Within 15 mins many other diners arrived, some without reservations but all were lucky. We shared a starter of local charcuterie which was both very nice and very large! Then I had lamb which was rose as I had asked and delicious and tender, my wife had halibut which was equally delicious. All washed down with a 75cl pitcher of red wine at a princely €9. The whole experience was very enjoyable and I must commend them for their diligence in the fight against Covid-19 which was faultless. Highly recommended.

Simple and excellent meal at a really good price. I had baked salmon, she had joues de porc which must have been in preparation for days because they just melted under the fork. Will happily return.

Delicious garbure, generous portions. Nice selection, with regional choices. We enjoyed all the dishes we tried. Lovely square, the terrace is right in front of the cathedral. Our server was kind.

Food was good but service was sullen and clearly resentful of people who didn’t speak French very well. We sat upstairs in an empty room in the corner. We asked if we could move to have a view of the wonderful church but we’re told it would mess up “the system”. Really bad vibes from then on.

(Translated by Google) A brasserie with a view of the Basque pelota sports hall. The choice at my place is quite limited and normally that's a good sign, that was good and the prices are correct, nothing to say. But all this is ruined by a service... Non-existent. It's really a shame we have to revisit that, we arrived 15 minutes to get a menu and ask us for an aperitif, then the waitress went to call in her corner, then it was a waiter who asked us 30 minutes later if we had selected. And then at the end we left on our own because there was no one to clear our plates and offer dessert.

(Translated by Google) Really awful tapas, plate of charcuterie served without butter, bread or anything else...all kinds of inedible defrosted donuts, small burgers served cold and very greasy. The waitresses are nice but incompetent. Impossible to have a little dessert at 11 p.m., on the other hand when the football team shows up at 1 a.m., no problem we bring out the brownies and small glasses. Honestly not recommended at all. It's a shame because the place is quite nice, but I strongly recommend that you avoid the bar/tapas and take real dishes, much better (when the real chef is there!).

As an English visitor, I wasn’t expecting anyone to speak much English, so I was genuinely surprised when the young lady at the charcuterie counter served me in perfect English!
