The attraction was amazing. We went for fright night and the actors where so nice. Creature campus looked after my niece for me when I went on a ride with my boys because she wasnt feeling up to it and sung happy birthday to her which made her feel so happy to be there. I really recommend coming its a great day out with the family and definitely come for fright night. The food was amazing 100% recommend food. Staff was great. Actors amazing. Survival games scare maze breathe takingly amazing although sometimes you do get split up from the group. We went on a Thursday so it wasn't as busy and the ride queues weren't really long. The actors remembered my niece all through the night and everytime we saw them they would say hello. Also Connie and rattlesnack and all the Frank's are so wonderful and nice. My niece's name is bethany.

After waiting in a queue for more than 2 1/2 hours, just to get into the park, to then only get on 4 rides in 7 hours was a really big disappointment, especially after paying £40 for a ticket 🎟. To fast track 1 ride per person was an extra £16 each but was still no solid guarantee to be that much quicker in the mile long queues for rides, so unfortunately, my first, and no doubt, last ever visit to Thorpe Park, was massively disappointing to say the least. Bring on the day, a paying customers satisfaction and experience are prioritised over how much money 💰 they can make, and gladly take from us, each day.
Tracey A — Google review
Queues were pretty crazy, 1 hour just to get in! 1 hour minimum for a ride, 2 hours+ for hyperia, if you didn't have a fast pass. Was impressed with the vegan options for food though! Also there are quite a few electric charging points in the car park, which are compatible with the octopus electroverse cars
John W — Google review
Came for Fright Night 2025, themed characters, scary mazes good fun although a bit samey, evening entertainment at live stage was good however the location of the stage causes congestion as viewing area far too small. No doubt there are great roller coasters here, don’t expect to ride them all in one day during peak season due to 120+ minute queues and rides persistently breaking down - we experienced this on three different rides whilst queuing. Arrived at 09:45, it took one hour queue just to get from car park to the entrance gate due to airport style security scanners, empty pockets and bag search, seems overkill? Then 90 mins queuing for Hyperia (which broke down temporarily) - entering and one ride took us until midday. Overall, enjoyable and fun day but long queues and ride reliability is an issue. Suggest more covered seating (heated) would improve experience, wasn’t enough seating areas and food hall is far too small.
Mr K — Google review
Over sold. Limited ride possibility. Arrived 11am. Queued for 1hr45 to get into the park. No cover in queue area from rain. Stood in puddles. Queued for stealth. Great ride. Lunch Queued for swarm. Great ride. Now 4pm Queued for saw. It broke. Now 17.30 and we had been on 2 rides. Queued for collusus. Good ride. Completed by 18.45 and left by 19.00 8 hrs at park and we managed 3 rides Rides seem good when they work. Just too many people admitted, especially with mass selling of fast track. Seems you need to purchase fast track, to remain competitive. Not certain I will return. Seems a good place, but managed with a focus on greed over quality delivery.
Robin B — Google review
An amazing theme park, compact and easy to get around, so many extreme rides. Great for teenagers and up, no so for little ones. But be prepared for very long queues if you go on a weekend and in the holidays... try not to, pull a sick day and go in the week! 😅
TJDevon 0 — Google review
I visited at halloween for a world class theme park experience with prices to match. Since my last visit Thorpe park keeps getting better. There are new coasters to complement great rides like Swarm, which has an outstanding and immersive setting. Plenty of food and drink options which were very good. Staff were hard working and committed to their jobs. Ticket prices and waiting times are brutal, but the park was sold out during mid term break. We had five ride fastrack, I can't imagine waiting 90 minutes for a single ride otherwise. Even with fast passes there is often 20-30 minute wait to ride. Not cool. Fastrack and general waiting times are made longer by a new class of waiting line, Ride Access Pass. These are some sort of paper based tickets to let people with disabilities and their helpers skip the queue. The whole effect is just to slow down both general and fastrack lines. Thanks for a great day.
Lachu J — Google review
I won free tickets via Bluelight card ballot for fright night. We went the week before half term in Sussex so thought it might not to be so busy. It got busier throughout the day so dread to think what it's like during the school holidays. The queue just to get into the park was ridiculous. They seemed to have two queue entrances which then all lead into one queue. When we got to the security bit there was one worker on the whole section. They were searching bags and then checking everyone through the metal detector. Might have gone a little quicker if they had 2 people on one lane to help reduce the queue. The queue times were all well managed. Would recommend downloading the App as it has the queue times on there updated regularly so would be able to plan the next ride depending on the shortest queue time. Toilet facilities were all clean and not dirty at all which is surprising how many people are using them throughout the day. Lots of choice of food; from big names like KFC and Burger King but then street pop ups like loaded chips, fish and chips, veggie side dishes etc. Staff all seemed attentive and polite throughtout the day. And I thought the park looked amazing once it got dark with it all being lit up. I haven't been to the park for over 10 years and it definitely did not disappoint. The best ride was Hyperia by far... was our first ride of the day and managed to get on the front too!

The surroundings and facilities are generally clean and well-maintained, adding to a pleasant shopping experience. Overall, Two Rivers is a reliable spot for shopping, dining, and entertainment in Staines.

Traffic is terrible so is the access to the car park. Not enough parking spots for push bikes and motorbikes. Christmas markets always offer the same poor selection and many shops and restaurants are just cheap and (not so) cheerful+ anti social behaviour issues
Speedbird1 F — Google review
Went to Two Rivers in Staines for a movie and had a really good time. The retail park is easy to get around, with plenty of shops and food spots if you fancy grabbing something before or after. Best part – parking is free! Makes it perfect for a chilled movie night or a catch-up with friends.
S S — Google review
It's a very busy shopping centre in the heart of Staines. There's a good variety of shops and cafes so you should be able to fine almost anything your looking for. The design brings an out of town shopping centre along side the main High Street so everything is fairly close. The main downside is the road network which seems to jam up alot so access (and exit) by car is a bit slow - plenty of parking space though.
Marc S — Google review
Two Rivers in Staines offers selection of stores, pubs and restaurants and a cinema for movie lovers. Parking available.

Wonderful amenity, lots of parking at a reasonable hourly rate. Good quality shops, resturants and Vue cinema. Convenient to park here and the walk to Stains food court or Stains high street.

Park
Lammas Recreation Ground, located in Staines, offers a mix of historical charm and modern leisure activities. The area boasts impressive Georgian and Victorian architecture, including notable buildings like the Flemish-style Town Hall and the historic London Stone. Along the revitalized Thames-side, visitors can enjoy landscaped gardens and sculptures. The park itself features various amenities such as free tennis courts, a skate park, play areas for children, and an outdoor Splash Park for cooling off during warmer months.
Such a great little find just 15-20 mins from Heathrow T5. This playground is well looked after, and clearly locked out of hours. Toilets are clean and in good repair, there is a cafe open in summer or at weekends out of season. My almost 4yo could have whiled away hours here, unfortunately for her we only had 1!
Holly P — Google review
A sizable green area that is dog-friendly and has multiple gated play areas that are separated according to age, including two with water elements that are triggered by ground "plates" and colorful soft fall ground. There are machines in a spacious training section that you would often only find in gyms, complete with adjustable weights and panels describing their functions. Beautiful recreation area on a picturesque section of the Thames in an excellent position. In addition to a skateboard park and a splash play area, there are multiple excellent kid-friendly playground sections. Strongly advised!

The undisputed King/Queen of the parks. Brilliant, large open space, nice parks, river & splash Park for kids. Tennis courts & outside gym plus newly installed crazy golf. Beautiful place, best trees in the area. Newly installed Coronation benches and wind breakers are just perfect to watch the river roll by on a cold day. So much thought been put into this place - from the coffee shop (reasonable prices SHOCK!) to kids snakes and ladders with oversized dice. Whoever is in charge, bravo to your team! New toilets have now been installed and are very clean. Boat rides for x6 people (motorised) 1 hour £48 + £80 refundable deposit

Brilliant park next to river. Enclosed area for little ones to play. When hot, the sprinkle area comes to play. Very big green area for you to picnic, put up a small gazebo, play family games etc. The toilets are clean even tho only 2 cubicles in ladies. But every time been they have been clean. Have a food hut. Very reasonable priced. The best is there long hot dogs for 4 pounds each. Overall a great free day to spend with the family. Can not recall parking prices but it was not expensive compared to other places

Italian restaurant
If you're in Staines and craving a taste of Italy, look no further than Prezzo Italian Restaurant. This casual dining spot is perfect for enjoying delicious stone-baked pizzas and classic pasta dishes that transport you straight to the heart of Italy. Families will appreciate the dedicated kids' menu, making it an ideal choice for a meal out with little ones. The atmosphere is welcoming, ensuring a pleasant dining experience whether you're visiting with friends or family.
We came here today on Mothers day and expected to have slow service but it was completely different. We had a very warm welcome and shown to a good sized table. It was quite noisy as the restaurant was packed. There's a great menu with something for everyone especially for vegetarians. We did not have to wait long to order and our food came really quickly. We were really pleased to find our food was hot, fresh and well prepared and presented. Our desserts followed in the same manor and was easy to pay. I would definitely recommend this branch especially compared with the Windsor branch.

What a wonderful place to eat. The services was spectacular, the staff were super friendly but not overbearing like a lot of restaurants can be. our food was delicious and definitely worth the money we payed. everything was clean and tidy and overall just a good experience. we will definitely be back next time we are in the area
Summerelysee — Google review
Came to prezzo as they have kids eat free, however this is not valid on the lunch menu, they mention this at the end. The lunch menu pasta come with virtually no bolognaise as pictured so had to ask for more to be added, otherwise it resembled a plain boiled pasta. Asked for things such as chilli flakes a number of times to have to then just get it ourselves. Food is very unimpressive.

We visited the restaurant for lunch to celebrate our daughter’s 14th birthday. The restaurant was very busy and appeared short-staffed, with just one server and the manager doing their best to attend to all the tables. Both were clearly working hard, but service felt a bit rushed, and we had to get the server’s attention a couple of times. I had to also remind them about the complimentary birthday cake at the end, and when I asked for a candle, a small tea light was placed on the plate — it felt a little last-minute rather than celebratory. Although the manager and the one staff were trying their best to help everyone, the overall atmosphere didn’t feel very relaxed or special. This might be a decent spot for a casual lunch or dinner, but based on our experience, I probably wouldn’t choose it again for a birthday or special occasion — especially on a busy Friday/weekend afternoon.
Venetia F — Google review
We recently visited Prezzo in Staines and had an absolutely wonderful meal. The food was delicious, and the service we received was truly outstanding. There were 8 of us dining, and every member of staff made us feel welcome and well looked after. A special mention goes to Alysia (Bath Uni), who was incredibly attentive throughout our visit. She went above and beyond, even taking the time to engage with the youngest member of our group by playing a quick game of rock, paper, scissors — a small gesture that meant a lot and really added to the experience. I honestly can't praise this venue enough. If we're ever in the area again, we will definitely return. Highly recommended!

We hired the private room at The Bell’s for a surprise 40th birthday lunch. The menu options were incredibly flexible for a large party, which was refreshing and appreciated since we had older people who wouldn’t have wanted a large set menu. The food was absolutely faultless, service was amazing, and we just had the perfect day. Thank you so much!

The Bells, Staines - A Cozy Gem with Exceptional Service I recently had the pleasure of dining at The Bells in Staines, and it was an experience worth sharing. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was inviting and cozy, perfect for both intimate dinners and larger gatherings. The pub also boasts a fantastic outside area, ideal for enjoying a meal or drinks in the fresh air. Our server, Zoe, was incredibly polite and provided great service throughout our visit. She was accommodating and attentive, ensuring that all our needs were met with a smile. The food at The Bells was nothing short of amazing. The pork belly and lamb dishes were particularly outstanding, cooked to perfection and bursting with flavour. The menu offers a variety of options that cater to different tastes, making it a great spot for any food lover. Additionally, The Bells has an impressive wine list to cater all tastes. Overall, The Bells in Staines is a wonderful pub that combines great food, excellent service, and a warm atmosphere. It's a perfect choice for any occasion, whether you're planning a large get-together or a cozy dinner for two.

We visited the Bells for a ladies catch up on Friday 11th April. The service we recieved from Zoe was fantastic, she was very attentive and super friendly. The food was absolutely amazing! We ordered a selection of starters to share and I ordered the duo of lamp for my main. I would 100% recommend this dish to anyone! I will definitely be returning to the Bells. Thankyou for a great evening.

Wouldn't touch this place again. Food was good, service was good. Atmosphere was 20 to 30 teenagers going full tilt. Only 2 girls running the bar, how are they going to control this? For a £113 bill I don't want or need this much crap. I was born 1 mile from here, but now live overseas. Every recommendation from me would be don't go.

Pub
Nestled in the charming village of Thursley, The Three Horseshoes is a delightful blend of rustic charm and modern dining. This early-19th-century pub, housed in a picturesque thatched cottage, boasts an inviting atmosphere with its cozy sofas and a crackling fire. Guests can enjoy their meals in the elegant conservatory or opt for a more laid-back experience at the airy bar.
We found this place by chance. We googled good Sunday roasts and there was a table available. Sundays there is a set menu for £26.50. That includes a starter and main. I had the beef roast and my partner had the gourmet burger. Everything was so full of flavour. The staff were very attentive. We were so impressed we asked to speak to the manager so we could pass on our compliments to the chef for the amazing food and the staff for the good service. I have added the pub to my list of favourite pubs. It's an hour away from where we live but we will definitely be back with friends. Highly recommend you will not be disappointed.

It was lively on a Saturday evening, but we booked a table and only had to wait about 5 minutes before being seated. The food was done well and tasted great, but the service was flawed, causing some frustration. Staff was polite, though they let some things slip through, which was probably due to how busy they were. Part of my FIL’s food was cold; my husband didn’t get his mixed salad; and my Keralan curry was missing the sweet potato crisps. As well, our food took ages to arrive. We were also seated in a room reserved for large parties. We were initially the only ones there, but two separate groups eventually arrived, causing the room to be really noisy. We had trouble holding a conversation amongst ourselves. I understand that the pub wants to maximise the number of tables that they can squeeze in, but a group of four competing with two large squawking parties doesn’t make for a pleasant dining experience. When we left, we walked through the main dining area, which was much more peaceful in comparison despite being quite full. Not sure if I’d come back. At the very least, I’d look into less busy times.
Nicole C — Google review
The staffs are very friendly & efficient. The foods are reasonable portions. Highly recommended.

A busy but lovely pub. Staff were very attentive and nothing was a problem. Even though nachos wasn’t on the menu, they’d changed nachos to something else, similar but not the same. They offered to do it, I didn’t even ask… with melted cheese of course. They also brought me a birthday dessert which was such a lovely surprise. Tea comes with fudge on the side, always nice to have a biscuit or sweet on the side with a coffee or tea. A 10 out of 10 from me.

A Pint at The Three Horseshoes, Laleham The Three Horseshoes in Laleham is a charming pub that offers a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. The staff are friendly and attentive, making you feel right at home from the moment you walk in. The beer selection is excellent, with a variety of ales and lagers to choose from. I enjoyed a refreshing pint of a local brew, which was perfectly served and hit the spot. The pub's outdoor seating area is a highlight, especially on a sunny day. It's a great place to relax and enjoy your drink while taking in the peaceful surroundings. Overall, The Three Horseshoes is a fantastic spot for a pint. Well this was a really lovely find. Staff so friendly and welcoming. Really nice inside and outside. Plenty of seating inside and a big seating area outside. The menu has a good choice. Reasonably priced. And the food was amazing. I had king prawns and crab linguine and my partner had seabream both said how really nice it was. Nice little village to walk around. We stayed at a campsite which about 15 minutes walk. I would definitely recommend here and we are definitely going again

Stopped at a campsite nearby and went for some dinner. It was a beautiful looking pub. Massive outdoor seating area. Nice small menu but plenty of options. They did a nice twist on classic pub favorites. Bar staff really took pride in their drinks served. Very happy with the whole experience there.

Everybody in our party of 8 enjoyed their meals. My order was a delicious Tomahawk Steak which defeated me, so portions are generous. We were well catered for by the lovely staff, who were engaging and professional at the same time. The large patio were we sat was very pleasant.
