Surrey Hills National Landscape is a designated natural area known for its stunning views and extensive network of trails suitable for walking, running, cycling, and horseback riding. In addition to outdoor activities, visitors can explore the impressive collection of vehicles at Brooklands Museum or enjoy llama trekking in the beautiful surroundings. For those seeking accommodation, Barnett Hill offers contemporary boutique rooms and suites amidst the picturesque Surrey Hills.
Amazing place to visit with family. We enjoyed lot. Keep a stick with you if you are planning to do trekking towards stepping stone. You can bring some food as well with you as there will be big queue at food stall.

The trail offers breathtaking views of the nature, unique opportunity to connect with nature, breathe fresh air, and appreciate the beauty of the outdoors. The sun shone brilliantly, The area is surrounded by scenery of outstanding natural beauty. The whole landscape was bathed in a warm, inviting glow, a scene that felt both serene and awe-inspiring. It really helps us to reconnect with ourself taking time out from mundane things we do keep the life moving.

Box Hill in Surrey is a beautiful place to visit, especially if you enjoy nature, walking, and stunning views. The panoramic scenery from the top is breathtaking, and on a clear day, you can see far across the Surrey Hills. The area has well-marked walking trails, from gentle family-friendly paths to more challenging hikes through the woodland. The woodland itself is peaceful and full of wildlife, making it a lovely escape from busy city life. There are picnic areas where you can relax, and it’s also dog-friendly, so great if you want to bring your pet along. The Old Fort adds a bit of history to the visit, and the National Trust café nearby is handy for snacks or a warm drink after a walk. Parking is available, and the site is managed by the National Trust, so it feels safe and well looked after. Overall, Box Hill is a fantastic spot for fresh air, exercise, and enjoying the beauty of the English countryside.

Watched the eclipse from the Surrey Hills. Parking on hogs back (A31) in the layby. Beautiful walk in fields of long wavy grass.

Beautiful areas and plenty to see and explore. Bare in mind which area you go to as some places aren't suitable for wheelchair/walking aid users. Rangers are never too far off either so areas are safe and well maintained. I'd also recommend having a phone with WiFi so you can use a map to navigate places if you want to explore less populated areas.

This is one the best national parks I've been to in England it is so peaceful and calm the view from here is fantastic you can see the city and the small village from the hill it is also fun because you can roll down the hill or go for a picnic. It's a national park you can also have a small hike there if you want l. There is a small river there too and you can have a walk there too so much wildlife full of nature I hundred percent recommend everyone going there if you do enjoy.

Betchworth Castle

Castle
Historical landmark
Betchworth Castle is a captivating medieval ruin situated on a sandstone spur overlooking the River Mole. The site, part of the Deepdene estate, features atmospheric remnants of a fortified stone house that dates back to 1448. Although it has suffered from neglect over time, ongoing efforts are being made to restore and maintain this historical gem. Visitors can enjoy a peaceful walk around the fenced-off ruins while learning about its intriguing past through informative boards.
Free access at any time. Quite inaccessible and a smashing little ruin. Currently needing some maintenance, so it's very overgrown with nettles and brambles and not as smart as in most photos. I stayed for two hours inspecting every tiny part of it. No public access to the actual ruins presumably for insurance reasons but you can get in fairly easily if you're driven enough. No parking nearby and you have to go around the outskirts of the private golf course to get there. Well hidden at the top of quite a steep hill. If you're going through the area it's definitely worth a look if you can park. I'd been meaning to go for many years and I wasn't disappointed.
GuildfordGhost — Google review
Atmospheric ruined castle in a wooded setting, forming part of the Deepdene estate. The building dates back to the medieval period, and saw use as a fortification and stately home before being ruined. There's a small amount of roadside parking just before the entrance to the golf course off the A25 - from here the castle is only a 5-10 minute walk away. The ruins are fenced off, but a path leads around the perimeter, and there are information boards to explain more about the castle's history. Worth a look if you're visiting the Surrey Hills or passing by on the A25.
Andrew T — Google review
Nice walk to the ruins. Enter golf course and park on left of lane. Walk back towards road and there is path that allows you to walk through golf course. Takes 12 minutes
Sunil S — Google review
A lovely site but difficult to find: a small public foot path on the left hand side of the entrance to the neighbouring golf course. A short walk, not really buggy friendly though, with fantastic views and yummy wild brambles of you go at the right time of year. The kids loved it.
Olivia R — Google review
Lovely little ruins but a bit of a nightmare to find. Google maps will try to take you down a private road. I would recommend parking at the gold course (next left after Google's recommendation) or parking at the garden centre. There is a small path to walk between the golf course. I have drawn (crudely) route on Google maps in my picture
David L — Google review
An interesting relic from the past, as far back as 1448, that details what was once a grand castle but which, with the passage of time has withered away. It's fascinating to see these ruins that whisper echoes of yesterday and it makes you think what caused the castle to fall into disrepair in the first place. Apparently improvements are ongoing to keep the ruins properly maintained but it does make for a fascinating insight into a piece of British history.
Sadek M — Google review
Lovely little ruin, fun to explore and very picturesque. Perfect side trip to visiting Box Hill, Dorking, Guildford etc. Plans to eventually be developed further and for visitor centre etc so will hopefully become more visible and easier to access. At present, aim for the main entrance of the Golf Club (not this google map location) and stop before their gates. You can park just before the entrance and on the left side there is a gate and then a 10mins path up to the castle, flagged on each side by the golf course. See pics below for step by step.
Dee — Google review
Just some ruins and a couple of display boards. It’s quite overgrown and not maintained. Fun for a short bit of urban exploring and interesting piece of history but not that exciting for kids and wouldn’t spend more than 30mins here. Worth checking out if you’re in the area though!

Visited for the first time yesterday morning. Google Maps took me straight to the car park easily enough. The main reason I went was to see the ancient yew trees in Druids Grove within the woodland, however, much to my disappointment this area had been totally closed off. Luckily I was still able to find a lot of fantastic yew trees so my trip wasn't in vain. The paths are quite wide and easy to follow.

Beautiful wild garlic field in full bloom! Peaceful, fragrant, and perfect for a spring walk. A hidden gem in Norbury Park.
Anwer K — Google review
It is not a park of usual kind. This park has easy access from the road through both by walk and car. The parking is free. Entry is free to the park. From the parking you will find a narrow road leading towards small hilly forest. If you walk towards there you will find different narrow paths. If you are lucky you might be able to see deer, we weren't but some we crossed path with, they saw 3/4. The environment is very lovely and calm. This park is suitable for all age groups and dogs. There is a private farms on the way. The entire park is having new seasonal flower bloom. There are few of rubbish bin and pet litter boxes. It needs a cafe with enough comfortable sitting spaces both inside and outside and toilet. Must be a greater beauty in summer. Enjoy 😊

Beautiful, big place with great views of the Surrey Hills, Headley, Mickleham, etc. Plenty to see and the viewpoint is spectacular. Great place for all. Been many times and didn't want to leave. Could stay for ages. Stunning all year, especially in the Spring and Summer and when the sun is out.

Massive area with its of paths for exploring. It looks beautiful in the autumn, has fields with cattle and sheep, hills to climb and viewpoints where you can see Box Hill. It is on bus routes, so you don't have to drive there - although you may have to cross a busy road to get there where there is a shortage of safe crossings.
Karen B — Google review
A beautiful area to walk and explore in. You can walk for miles around some of the prettiest countryside in Surrey. It's perfect for the most adventurous walkers to people just out for a nice casual stroll. Perfect for walking your dawg too if you have one. It's always a good idea to take provisions on any walk but if you are there Thurs-Sun there is an excellent coffee truck next the old Wood mill called Wild About Coffee. They are lovely people and serve hot cold drinks and snacks they are there 9am - 3pm on the above days.
Grahame E — Google review
This place is really fascinating. Basically, the walking path is going between pastures with beautiful sceneries. You can bring your dog and enjoy the day with your family. The main car park was free on the Sunday we went there.

Farm
Sights & Landmarks
Bocketts Farm Park, located just outside of Leatherhead, is a working family farm that offers a fun day out for all ages. Visitors can enjoy feeding animals, tractor and pony rides, pig racing, and play areas with trampolines. The farm is home to baby animals like lambs, piglets, and chicks which can be visited during animal holding sessions. Additionally, there are indoor soft play barns and outdoor adventure trails for kids to explore.
My son and niece absolutely loved the place as did the adults. There was plenty to see and do and all the animals looked well cared for. The play areas were clean as were the toilets. The gift shop was reasonably priced had gifts from 25p upwards. The highlight of day for me was the pony rides. My son wanted to do it, but was very anxious. There was a lady called Abbey taking the money who instantly put him at ease and promised to walk round with him. When it was his turn she was so patient, calm and reassuring with him. She helped him on the pony JJ and with another Abbey they walked him round. By the time he had finished he was laughing and had thoroughly enjoyed it. So thank you Abbey! I would definitely return for another day trip.

Nice place to spend day with kids. Lot of Animals and Activities. Kids really enjoyed. Price is bit high but if you spend whole day its good deal. They have shops where you can get Coffee tea snacks and drink. Only few thing : First one staff could do more to engage public looked like they leave them to explore them self and everyone is walking around clueless. Second toilet is not maintained properly. Third one is had to pay extra for ride and things inside. I think it would be better if it was all included pay. In general its good place to visit with kids they can see farm and learn a lot of new things.
A T — Google review
Wonderful farm experience! Great educational posters and infographics, lots of opportunities to interact with animals up close, tons of very creative and exciting play areas for kids both outdoors and indoors. The staff were all really friendly and welcoming and we had a lovely lunch.

No Dad on the adventure today but the girls of the family paid a visit to Bocketts Farm with friends. There is plenty to see and do at the farm and most activities are included. However be prepared to pay a little extra for the tractor or pony rides. The girls enjoyed feeding the animals and exploring the outside playgrounds. One is aimed at the younger children and one at older children. The pig racing is always a highlight at the farm and the girls loved cheering on their coloured pig - a few more flags would have been handy as there were not many to go around. As with all places of this nature, the shop is a dangerous place for children and has to be passed through to leave!! My two came home with a new cuddly lop eared bunny and a cuddly sausage dog on a lead to add to their vast collections... In fairness they are quite cute. @familydadventures

Great place for a family day out with your little ones!! They have various activities for all the family including feeding the animals, pig race, tractor rides etc. Kids have many play areas to choose from including indoor and outdoor areas. Good washroom facilities and baby changing areas, cafes and dining areas for all the family to enjoy the day!!

I visited this farm with my 4.5 year old son and we had lovely day out! The tickets are quite pricey, it was about £45 for both of us but it was worth it. Bear in mind that some activities like tractor rides of riding a ponny are not included in the price. There are lots of activities for kids of different ages. We enjoyed seeing and feeding all the animals. My son really liked the playground, trampoline and the tractor rides. This weekend Bluey was on the site and my son was excited to take picture with him. I recommend to come early, we arrived before 10.00 and parking was pretty full. There are few places to eat, we enjoyed the pizza. We will definitely be back one day :)
Gosia L — Google review
Fantastic place for the kids. Huge park area and animal areas as well as petting sessions for them (and the adults!) too. There are places to eat which are a tad pricey but lovely food. They even make their own pizzas! Will definitely be returning again soon, especially for the pig races!
Katie G — Google review
First time we have been today but wish I had known about this sooner. Only found it as was looking for something in between where my grandchildren live and I do. It’s a great farm with so much to do. Lots that is inside if the weather turns bad and lots of things that are differentiated for younger/older children. You can buy animal food for £1.50 a bag. There are tractor and pony rides that cost extra but we didn’t do this as the grandchildren were having so much fun with everything else. Will definitely come back again we all had a great day.

With an elegant interior decor, Zen Garden prides itself on providing a unique and creative dining experience. Customers have praised the freshly cooked and piping hot food as well as the attentive service provided by the staff. Additionally, the restaurant offers takeaway and delivery services for added convenience.
We decided to visit spontaneously & are so glad we did. Plenty of on site parking, a lovely old world feel, super friendly service & top quality food. Selected a few old favourites and all were better than we had previously eaten. A glass of very nice house wine each, a shared starter & the bill was under £70. I recommend the crispy chilli beef in particular, a delicious dish. Highly recommended 👍🏻

I turned up 10 minutes before they shut. They were closing up already as there was no customer on a Sunday evening. I was in the area looking to get a takeaway about 9.45am. On the Google listing, they have high ratings (over 4 stars). Hence, I wanted to give a try. The counter guy was about to leave. I said I wanted to get a takeaway. The guy got back inside and turned some lights on. Kudos to him to accommodate me at the last minute. He even gave me a glass of tea whilst I was waiting for my order. When it came to pay, he realised I was from the Far East. We started chatting in Chinese. We had a very good conversation and I learnt fair a bit how they struggled to run a restaurant. The prices of my Singapore vermicelli, spring rolls and wonton soup weren't cheap as it was a restaurant. Normally, a standalone takeaway would be a bit cheaper. However, the food was tasty with no MSG. I wouldn't mind spending a bit more next time I pass by.

I visited Zen Garden last weekend with friend&family and everything was perfect. The atmosphere was calm and welcoming, the food was fresh and full of flavor, and the service was excellent. The staff member who helped us was very friendly and helpful, which made the experience even better. We'll definitely be back.

The Running Horses is a charming 16th-century coaching inn situated near Dorking, offering elegantly refurbished rooms with antique furniture and modern amenities like Nespresso coffee machines and free Wi-Fi. The inn has a rich history, having served travelers for over 400 years. With its traditional British cuisine, cozy atmosphere with wood fires, and dog-friendly policy, it's an ideal place for a relaxing getaway.
This is a very special pub and restaurant in Mickleham near Dorking. It is surrounded by the beautiful Surrey Hills and is easily reached from A24. Even the 465 bus from Kingston or Dorking will take you right there. We decided on the off chance to treat ourselves to the delicious burger there and it was fabulous. In the past we've had a terrific Sunday roast and a couple meals with friends. Service is exceptional, as is the quality of the food. A relaxed stroll through the countryside to the right of the church opposite completes the experience.

We had a lovely family meal here....the food and drink were excellent, but the best part of our visit was the wonderful service. The staff were extremely accommodating (we needed a quiet table, as my 90 year old aunt is slightly hard of hearing, and they opened the private dining area for us!). A memorable occasion!

From a comprehensive menu the four of us selected a wide range of mains and sweets plus the cheese selection. All the selections were excellent, backed up with great service. The wine list provided a solid selection to accompany the meals. Highly recommended.

I haven’t been here for a while but I can honestly say my experience today was wonderful. The food was excellent but what made the whole experience more special was the staff. The two European men serving there today were everything anyone could want in hospitality staff. Welcoming, very attentive and good fun! The sort of service you get regularly in Europe but sadly less so in the U.K.

I recently hosted my husband’s 40th birthday here and I couldn’t be happier with the experience! From start to finish, the team went above and beyond to make everything run smoothly. The space was beautifully set up, the staff were incredibly attentive and professional, and every detail—from the food to the ambiance—was perfect. So many people commented on how great the venue was, and I couldn’t agree more. If you're looking for the perfect place to host a special event, this is it. Highly recommend!

The food was incredible, best pork roast I’ve had in a long time! We sat in the bar area, and although we had a wonderful time - the service was not very great, we had to chase people to get served for drinks and our meals, and had to go to the bar to ask to be served. Felt a little like a hindrance to them. Other than that.. the food and pub as a whole were wonderful!

Indian restaurant
Nestled in the charming village of Fetcham, Fetcham Tandoori is a delightful gem that brings traditional Indian cuisine to life. With its inviting atmosphere featuring stripped wooden floors, this restaurant has quickly become a favorite for those seeking authentic flavors. After relocating from Yorkshire five years ago, many have found it challenging to discover an Indian eatery that truly satisfies their cravings—until they stumbled upon Fetcham Tandoori. The warm welcome and attentive service set the stage for an unforgettable dining experience.
I’ve recently returned to living in Fetcham. Having had a wonderful years-long relationship with the local Indian restaurant at our old place, settling on a new one was high priority…! We’ve had two great meals from Fetcham Tandoori so far. Can’t fault the food - two different orders, and everything was perfect. It’s a little more expensive than I’m used to - they add £3.00 to delivery orders. Having been a delivery driver myself, I can’t not tip the driver in cash too, so it adds up. However, you can create an account to track your orders and build loyalty points, so I guess that will balance things off before long, and you can set a delivery time. On both occasions, they’ve been more than prompt. So far, really impressed, and looking forward to many more delicious deliveries. 👍🏻

Another magnificent dinner with the marvellous team at The Fetcham Tandoori. I moved from Wimbledon to Fetcham on the recommendation of my best friend purely because of this superb restaurant and am cherishing every single moment. The dishes are sensational and everyone involved in the establishment is so kind, thoughtful and considerate. Fitness center
Located just a short drive from the M25 or a brief walk from the town center, Leatherhead Leisure Centre is a modern sports and leisure facility that underwent extensive renovations in 2011. The center boasts an array of amenities including swimming and diving pools, badminton and squash courts, a gym, sports halls, trampolines, basketball courts, and even a bowls hall. Additionally, there are Primetime activities tailored for those over 50.
Krav Generation. I went along to the Leisure centre to view the facilities with the view to holding my Krav Maga self-defence classes at the centre. The building was clean, light and well ventilated. The studio was under renovation so it was difficult to see what it looked like but from what I viewed of the rest of the facilities, I am sure it will be up to a great standard. There was ample parking, although the lighting outside could be improved upon. All the staff were friendly and helpful.

This is the most amazing center I've seen with a large well equipped gym, and many fun exercises classes daily included in the membership. Many!! additional activities like badminton, tennis and a lovely pool. The ultra clean & bright locker rooms, cafe on site, friendly staff and availability of PTs are all icing on the cake 😊
Nancy E — Google review
Since BETTER has taken over, the centre is a lot more user friendly and has more to offer. Nice newly reversed gym and the badminton courts are great. They’ve done up the squash courts too. Receptionists always very helpful. Great centre and a good price for membership.
Lewis R — Google review
The condition of the gym has reached a dangerous and completely unacceptable state. One of the running machines has been broken for months, with its electronic parts exposed, posing a serious risk. It’s shocking—literally—that this machine is still in use, as touching even sweaty it could result in electric shocks. This is an immediate safety hazard, yet there seems to be no urgency to fix or even cordon off the machine. What’s even more concerning is that late in the afternoon, many children from the nearby schools use the gym. It’s only a matter of time before someone, especially a child, gets seriously hurt or even electrocuted. How is this being allowed to happen in a facility where safety should be the top priority? Currently, three machines are out of order, and this isn’t just a one-time issue—two of them break down almost every second week. It’s clear these machines are in desperate need of replacement, yet nothing seems to be done about it. Temporary fixes are no longer enough, and the constant breakdowns are severely limiting members' ability to work out properly. This constant cycle of repairs and malfunctions shows a total lack of long-term maintenance planning. Members pay for a functional gym, not one where equipment is constantly broken or unusable. The need for immediate replacement of these machines is urgent—anything less would be unacceptable. On top of that, the overall lack of maintenance and cleanliness is unacceptable. Currenttly, the gym is consistently filthy, with machines left unsanitized and floors covered in dirt. The disregard for basic hygiene is bad enough, but when you add the risk of serious injury from broken equipment, it’s clear that the management has completely failed its members. This level of negligence is beyond frustrating—it’s downright reckless. If something isn’t done immediately, the gym is a serious accident waiting to happen.
Zahid M — Google review
Hi, I don’t leave 3 stars. I have no idea what happened there. I don’t click review. My family actually had a fantastic few hours at the Leisure Centre yesterday and I honestly have no idea how a 3 star review with no description ended up there. Apologies, I have now edited the post.
Keithy P — Google review
Really enjoyed our family swim here. Free parking, large changing cubicles and wide lockers making everything easier. Pool was full of floats and toys which the kids loved. Great experience.
A S — Google review
Update: This place is falling apart. Most of the machines and the sauna are broken. There is no drinking water. The owners can’t be bother to fix anything. It feels like they are taking advantage to be the only gym in the area but this looks like an abandoned gym. In the 5 weeks I have been a member of the gym, the steam room has never worked and today (and looks like for the rest of the week) there is no hot water which seems like a recurrent issue. The £50 per month membership would be OK if everything worked, but this hasn’t been the case so far.
Pablo B — Google review
The most disgusting toilets I’ve ever seen. Reception staff sit on their phones ignoring customers. It could be such a brilliant facility but the toilets (cafe and changing rooms) are truly revolting…. A health hazard.

Mansion Gardens is a hidden gem nestled on a hillside by the River Mole in Leatherhead, perfect for those seeking a peaceful retreat. This charming spot offers an ideal setting for enjoying lunch, taking leisurely strolls with family or friends, and even walking your dog. The gentle slope of the garden helps to muffle the sounds of the bustling main road, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in the soothing sounds of nature.
A really nice place to eat your lunch, walk your dog, or just sit and relax. As it slopes downhill, the noise from the busy main road drops off quickly, so you can forget you're in a town, and just listen to the river burble.

.Good food and beer , portion sizes have greatly reduced since our last visit . Took a friend there as i was impressed with the food , portion size and real ales. The plate of ham egg n chips we got made me embarrassed. The staff were quite pushy to move people on once the food was gone and the bar staff in too much of a hurry to not converse properly when talking to them. What a difference 6 months make. On the plus side good to see the real ale pump being flushed out between barrels

The Local History Society, housed within the Leatherhead Museum, is a treasure trove of fascinating insights into the area's past. Visitors can explore an impressive array of exhibits that cover various aspects of local history, from cinema and sports to wartime memorabilia. The knowledgeable and friendly staff are always eager to share stories and provide valuable information about the town's development over time. Many guests have found themselves captivated by displays featuring notable figures like Jane Austen and Donald Campbell.
This place just gets better and better and the fact it is free is a major bonus. It’s great to take a step back in the past and see what it was like back in the days. I wish they had some recordings or video of the past to show visitors. It would be more interactive. There are so many displays from cinema, sports, police, statues, war etc. I was highly impressed with the place and displays.

If you're on the hunt for a coffee shop that exudes charm and personality, look no further than Blue Cafe. This delightful spot features an eclectic mix of decor, with its mismatched furniture and vintage posters creating a cozy atmosphere. The menu is diverse, offering everything from light bites like sandwiches and salads to more substantial meals such as burgers and loaded fries. Blue Cafe stands out not only for its delicious offerings but also for its reasonable prices compared to other local eateries.
Had a delicious large salad here, as an early lunch... was delicious, and was truly a large plate. Good value for money, and the ambience is pretty good. They have a large selection of items on the menu, and decent coffee and drinks too. All served quickly, with polite and friendly staff... what's not to like!

This is a great location for lunch, and it is quite popular, so if you don’t like queues, like myself, come here closer to 2pm. Five Rivers Indian Restaurant is a family-run establishment in Leatherhead that offers classic Punjabi and Bangladeshi dishes. The unpretentious contemporary curry house provides an extensive menu featuring biryanis, curries, and tandoori specialties. The attentive staff is known for going above and beyond to cater to diners' needs, with the chef even willing to create custom dishes.
Really nice wait staff, great service, tasty and quick food with outstanding chutney. All round a great restaurant! Would recommend.
Kingsley F — Google review
The restaurant is busy and the poppadoms are good, though once you get to the main meals the food is lacking true flavour. Yes it has spice but so disappointing for flavour and best to avoid if you want a decent curry, even the onion barhji are cloggy and best swerved. The food is expensive and although the chicken is tender it is not worth what they charge as a dish of 5 pieces of chicken is not value for money…
Colin S — Google review
Absolutely great. Beautiful food, well presented, Friendly staff, nicely decorated, clean restaurant. Well recommended

Too costly and misleading rates. It is usually crowded and there was a delay in service. Extra service charge is levied. The food was oily. Not recommended

I can’t recommend them highly enough. From start to finish, the experience has been smooth, professional, and friendly. A huge shoutout to Alom and Lipu, who have both been absolutely amazing throughout the process. Their attention to detail, clear communication, and genuine care made all the difference. They went above and beyond to ensure everything ran perfectly, and their knowledge and dedication were clear every step of the way. It’s rare to find a team so committed to getting things right and making you feel valued as a customer. Thank you, Alom and Lipu — you’ve made this a really positive experience, and I’ll definitely be recommending Five Rivers Current to others!

The Leatherhead Theatre & Cinema offers a diverse program including opera, film screenings, panto, and open mic nights. It also serves as a venue for exhibitions, performing arts, and cinema screenings of major performances from renowned institutions. The theater hosts live events and boasts an in-house art gallery. With small auditoriums providing an intimate experience, it may lack the grandeur of larger venues but makes up for it with its cozy atmosphere.
I have been visiting the theatre for the past 8 years watching my daughter perform in her annual dance show and also performed at dance competition held here. It's a lovely local theatre, and regardless of where you sit, you always have a great view of the stage. They have a small cafe where you can purchase light refreshments. There is a small car park opposite or plenty of parking nearby in the Swan centre.

Lovely theatre. Doesn’t look much from the outside but it’s good inside. Has a nice stage and seats with lots of leg room and clean toilets and cafe. Check the website to see what shows are on. They don’t allow outside food here.
Chris G — Google review
It was for my daughters dance show. Yes it was warm outside, but it 2as unbearable inside the auditorium. There was no air, central air nor air conditioning. It had an adverse effect on the show as we, the audience, suffered personally instead of really enjoying the show!
Scott R — Google review
A group of friends all went to see Celebrating George Michael. It was fantastic. As I'm supposed to be reviewing the venue, I'll concentrate on that. It was my first visit there. It's, what I would call, the perfect size. Not only for theatre productions, I'm sure, but for musical performances such as Celebrating George Michael, and all other musical events. The venue had a perfect layout, was very clean and freshly decorated, great bar and selection of beverages, lavatory facilities, easy access, good and ample parking nearby. It was a perfect night out.

The theater provides a pleasant atmosphere. The diverse food selection is commendable. Furthermore, the staff demonstrates excellent service. However, the interior temperature of the theater was excessively warm.

Nice green space would be awesome in summer. Medium size park not much big or too small. Kids play area at one corner. Just cross the road of Leatherhead Station. They can improve it a bit by arranging some benches, bins and put some flowers.
Win T — Google review
I walk through this park whenever I need to get to the station. It's quite a lovely place. Not too big not too small. I love looking at all the flowers in bloom during the Spring. There're so many different flowers every time I go there and it's really great to stop every once in a while to appreciate them. >< There are a few benches along the path to the town center, if you need to catch your breath, or just relax a little. The only reason it's missing a star is because the grass is painfully scorched from the sun and has lost it's lush glory. Such a pity, but what can you do. The heat is getting worse by the year.
Yofee — Google review
Well designed and maintained - my thanks to those who do the relevant work and my thanks to the public for electing decision makers and paying the taxes.

It's a really nice area with open fields and park aimed at Children under 14. I had a picnic with a friend here to support a local cause that was going on. It was a nice sunny day and even though there was a big family there as well we were able to kick a ball and play throwing games without the fear of knocking into anyone. It is small compared to other areas (King George 5th playing field) but It makes good use of the green area and trees that surround it. It has 2 close by spacious car parks and the Train tracks is easily viewable but it's so far away it doesn't bother the view.

Secret gem, easy parking as by station, outdoor gym, bit of a suntrap. Great to meet another family household for a Covid Restricted picnic. One less star as no toilets and can't go at the station as we had hoped, unless u hv a ticket.
Sheilagh L — Google review
Well done for surviving the virus so far. However! It is still out there. So next time you are in the Park bear this in mind. Since lockdown has been relaxed more people have been using it when the sun had bèen out, children are back in the play area, some people are also using the equipment area to exercise, but without protection, no gloves, no santisers and breathing heavily on every thing. Overall, the park had mainly been used as a cut through and remain so. If you want to use is to relax for a while, make sure you are protecting yourself. Consider every one you meet as a carrier, and stay away from them. Take care. Enjoy.

Really poor service, food was cold so told the waitress and she rolled her eyes, grabbed the food and then when it came back out it was still cold and my pasta dish had also become really dry! When we went it was supposed to be 241 on cocktails which we didn’t receive (even after I asked), then a side deal too (2 for £8). Not one to be cheap with food and would’ve happily paid more for it…IF IT WAS GOOD! Honestly the worst place I’ve ever eaten and the worst service going. All the girls have poor attitude as well! Will attach a photo below of how much I left of my pasta dish because it was that bad!

The restaurant was clean and tidy on arrival. A loud restaurant to be in with the sound reverberating off the walls easily making it a noisy place eat. We were a family of five with two adults and three children and arrived shortly after 6pm. The food was of good quality and arrived hot and well presented. The reason for 3 stars is due the wait times and service. From order to main meals was around 40 minutes. From dessert order to arrival was 30mins. There were initially two members of staff serving the tables which was clearly not enough. This went up the three when the staff member sorting drinks began to help. However, this delayed drink orders and also began to show with lots of tables requiring clearing and used glasses and bottles piling up on the bar. We were in the restaurant for just over 2 hours only for only a two course meal. Very disappointing service, but decent food. Uncertain if we will return.

Our waitress was absolutely incredible! She deserves acknowledgment of just how wonderful she was. It’s not easy going out as a large family, as we do sometimes for family birthdays, but she didn’t make us feel like our 6 children were getting in the way. The food was great too so we had an absolutely wonderful time celebrating my daughter’s 10th birthday. Thank you

Unfortunately this was not a good visit. On arrival we could not sit where we wanted despite the restaurant being empty. We were told everything was laid out for bookings. We were there until nearly 6 pm by which time there has been a table of ten people arrive and another table for three who ate and left quickly. We were told that the other people would be turning up at 5pm and they never arrived. We were stuck on a tiny table and the people on the table for three were out right next to us. So no romantic ambient visit for us while the rest of the restaurant was almost empty. Very disappointing! Also portions so tiny they weren’t really acceptable. My husband had beef shin and only nine pieces of ravioli so that means they were £2 each. I had chicken artibatta and had five pieces of chicken. The smallest mains we have ever had in Prezzo. Not good! With this we had focaccia bread but the fingers were So small it was like a child’s portion! What has happened? We have been to Leatherhead before but it wasn’t like this. Such a shame we were so looking forward to this meal.

I used Prezzo as I had a BOGOF offer and a £10 off food offer, bringing the bill down to £30 a head. I was disappointed I could not use Club Prezzo as well, it is very confusing have 3 sets of offers (including Meerkat Meals) that cannot be used simultaneously but it's hard to know which will be best value. 7pm on Wednesday meant it was deathly quiet, and virtually empty by 8.30pm. The food was good, I had the specials of Salmon Bruschetta and Beef Cheek Ragu, and a Lemon Meringue Pie.

I recently had dinner at Prezzo in Leatherhead and came away impressed. Located at 21-25 Church Street, the restaurant blends a lively, stylish ambience with a menu that truly celebrates Italian comfort food done well. If you’re looking for a relaxed yet satisfying meal, this place more than delivers. Ambience & Service As soon as we walked in, the atmosphere felt warm and inviting. The lighting, layout and décor are contemporary without being over the top. Service was quick and friendly — our server was very helpful, explained some of the specials, and made us feel welcome. Even when things got busy, the staff stayed on top of things, which added to the pleasant experience. Starters & Small Plates We started with a few shared plates. The Dough Twist was a highlight — pizza crust filled with mozzarella, béchamel and black pepper, baked golden and served with a dip of choice. It’s comforting, indulgent, and a perfect low-key starter. Next, we had the Crispy Fried Mozzarella, which was crunchy on the outside, melty on the inside, paired with a spicy Calabrese ketchup. Also tried were the Pancetta Mac & Cheese Bites, rich and cheesy with good texture, and the Paprika-seasoned Calamari which came with a tangy “pestonnaise” dip. The warm Focaccia Bread with olive oil and balsamic vinegar was also a simple but well-done touch. Mains: Pizza, Pasta & More For mains, the range was solid. My group sampled the Spaghetti Carbonara — creamy sauce, well-cooked pasta, good pancetta and just the right amount of cheese. Another friend tried the Rigatoni Bolognese, generously portioned with a rich beef ragu. The menu also offers more adventurous or indulgent options: pizzas like Goat’s Cheese & Roasted Peppers-topped pizzas, the Pepperoni Pizza (classic but done with quality), plus various “al forno” baked pastas. If you prefer something lighter, there are also salads, sides like Truffle Fries, and vegetarian or gluten-free pasta options, which shows good consideration for dietary preferences.

Called in for an early lunch so the restaurant was pretty empty at first but staff were warm and prompt in their service. This is a very modern feeling restaurant, menu has manageable complexity and an excellent children's version. Toilets were clean and well kept, excellent selection of wine. Being critical the chairs were a little tired (cracked fake leather) and the chocolate cake dessert was not a cake but a very dense chocolate flan/tart dense and heavy... but not entirely unpleasant.

During my recent exploration of Regent Business Park in Leatherhead, I stumbled upon The Pod, and what a delightful find it was! This charming café offers an inviting atmosphere with a lovely outdoor seating area that's perfect for enjoying your drink, even if you're navigating with a buggy. I indulged in their delicious coffee and couldn't resist trying the Chorizo Melt after seeing another customer’s order—it did not disappoint!
Found this place on my way from B&Q. Great coffee, delicious tuna melt and friendly service from the owner Tom. Also could catch up on my e-mails and charge my phone as there are sockets by the bar

Stumbled upon this place when visiting to the area (I've not been to the area before). It's a lovely set up and Tom was really welcoming and friendly. The coffee was amazing and will definitely be going back whenever I visit.

We stopped in leatherhead as a stopping point on a way to a funeral and this was the closest coffee point we could find, the pod is in a lovely quiet location with extremely nice outdoor seating area. The person behind the counter was extremely kind and apologetic about not having anything for children, but was helpful and makes a fantastic coffee. I was very thankful for the service provided!

Needed a coffee whilst having a tyre replaced round the corner. Great little coffee shop in a quiet business park run by Tom. The coffee was great - from a local supplier in Dorking. Nice outside seating to relax - and then got chatting to Tom. Knows his coffee - a really good brew! Highly recommended - I didn’t have any food, but the selection looked good

An absolute treasure…ideal place to spend time away from the desk in a great little sunspot in comfort with a coffee. Breakfast and lunch equally tasty, you can’t beat a cheeky little bacon and egg roll!

Real gem find! I enjoyed a tasty cheese & tomato sandwich and oat latte. Great meeting you, Tom. I’ll see you next time I’m in the area!

Wonderful spot, great locally sourced freshly roasted coffee. Owner was a lovely chap. We opted for 2x Chorizo melts and a Tuna melt, both fantastic and would recommend. Seating including umbrellas due to slight drizzle. We’ll be back.

Stopped by for a coffee and hot choc today after reading all the great reviews. Tom was super lovely and friendly, still staying cheery on a very wet dreary day! Can see why his customers come back to him as a regular spot. Coffee was great too, would definitely recommend.

Amazing Food. Been ordering here from 5+ years regularly. The food always tastes fresh, delicious and requests are always fulfilled. Staff is very friendly. If you’re feeling like a fresh kebab, do not hesitate to pick this one!

This is a delivery service that delivers here at McDonald's from the back. Every time I get here to the chain to make the delivery, the order is never ready and they put it as ready, then the customer calls us asking if we're going to take a long time with the delivery, even though the delivery isn't ready yet.

Food was 👌🏻 one of the very best Kebabs I've ever tried. Walked around the corner and *POW* there it was, blink and you'll miss it if your driving past. Right next to a Pub so handy for throwing out time lol

Don't ever go here, they con you and are so rude. Gave us food, charging for extras without telling us and then told us to go somewhere else! Terrible! Go to Botan Kebab instead.
Maha M — Google review
For some reason, post-gym workout, I felt it was necessary to pickup a chicken shish kebab on the way home. The chap taking my order and prepping the food was nonchalant at best, so giving 3 stars for service is already a bit of a stretch - but it wasn't an offensive interaction so credit is due there. While waiting I noticed some mould on the inside of the glass display cabinet (from which my uncooked chicken shish was fetched) - I should have cancelled my order and left then but hunger won the day, so I collected and left. Like a sad little man I munched it in my car, windows steaming up and LBC radio making me angry - the taste was fine to be fair. For the next week, it felt like my insides were dissolving, any food I consumed was quickly liquidized by my lurching stomach and squirted out on my overly frequent visits to the toilet every day. I will never go back and have told everyone I know to avoid at all costs - no kebab is worth a week of anal hell.

Great service. Very friendly staff. Reasonable prices and good food.

Rubbish ordered off deliveroo, chicken shish was tiny 3 bits of cold chicken in watery garlic sauce, 1 portion of cheesy chips had no cheese on and greek salad had mostly raw onion than anything else , still hungry not worth £47!! Won't be ordering again

Been a regular customer for the last few years, always received good service, apart from the drunk delivery driver on a number of occasions. Wasn't very happy with the meal/service this evening. Chicken fillet burger wasn't the same as had before, was very rubbery n unedible, so had to make a peanut butter sandwich instead, absolute waste of my dinner tonight, very upset with the experience that I received this evening :( :(

The Brewery Inn

Pub
The Brewery Inn, located in the charming village of Ashtead, Surrey, is a spacious pub that was once the site of George Sayer's Ashtead Brewery in the 19th century. The historic cellar still features the brewing well that extends 100 meters under the road. Despite the brewery closing in 1910, The Brewery Inn continues to attract locals and visitors alike with its large bar area and a raised dining section at the back.
The best sausage & mash for miles! The beef and onion gravy paired with lovely fresh greens was just delicious. The beer battered onion rings top it off beautifully. Well done guys! Highly recommended.
Tony H — Google review
Not a bad pub, but needs some changes to be a great pub. Food was ok - the Sunday roast beef was tasty and good sizes, however the beef felt a cheap cut. The kids meal of sausages and the fish were really tasty also. Puddings were all very underwhelming and felt like they came straight from the freezer / microwave. Prices on the menu did not then reflect the price charged on the bill - so check this before paying! Overall we were disappointed and would not go back.

First time here, impressed by the spaciousness and the lovely atmosphere. We had sandwiches and the portions were great. We’ll visit again.
Dimples V — Google review
A significant improvement! This place used to be a dive with a rude landlady and a miserable vibe. No more! The Dorking Brewery have taken it over and it is such a different place. Craft beers, delicious food (supporting local businesses) and friendly staff.
Adam W — Google review
I’ve lived around here for over 10 years and never been here; actually to be honest I thought from the outside it didn’t look very appealing, but I popped in today as I was passing and I was very pleasantly surprised, it was spacious, well decorated, the drinks were very well priced, the atmosphere was nice, there was even a shuffle board, and whilst the service behind the bar was slow, I really enjoyed my evening. Edit: went back a second time today and it was the same. Nice atmosphere, nice beer garden, but again very slow service at the bar.

Friday Night at the Brewery …. Well the staff Leo, Finn, Finn and Lauren what a good team they always do an amazing job, it was incredibly busy service was to high standard as always … the band was one of the best bands that’s played at brewery in long time The Reflectors definitely get them back again ! Also the food at Brewery is the best it’s incredible very delicious, good value for money too, it’s freshly cooked By Edyta, Amie and there team and Sunday lunches are definitely worth coming in for!! We are always made to feel welcomed by the Brewery team what ever day of the week it is and it’s our favourite pub!! It’s also dog friendly and our Frank loves coming to see his favourite barkeeps! Well done everyone at Brewery it’s definitely at best now ….. and that’s a credit to the Bar staff and kitchen team they work incredibly hard and deserve to recognised that! Always 5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ from us!!

To be honest this was a last minute stop. The pub inside is warm and inviting, with the open fire, gives it a nice feel. I had the chicken tenderloin which was deep fried and overdone but overall 5/10. For my main I had the sausage and mash which was presented well but lacked seasoning, however it was still enjoyable and I’d give it a 6.5/10

Nice pub, lovely garden. The staff were great. But we ordered hamburgers which were so overcooked they were like shoe leather. Literally the worst we have ever had anywhere!
