It also features covered pavilions and a playground for kids. The park offers stunning views and is perfect for taking a stroll or relaxing in the sun. Visitors can enjoy local small shops nearby as well as plenty of dining options.
Very nice park by the River. Clean restrooms and splash park for kids.

When to go see the Violent Femmes concert here everything was fine at first we realized you could not bring in a chair and we knew we could only bring in one bottle of water as long as it was sealed and they were very good about telling you that at the entrance but absolutely nothing on any website for purchasing tickets we are just used to the way they do it after Daytona Beach Bandshell. The real problem was security and no care about slam dancing and belligerent patrons. During the concert an unruly and very loud fan behind us berated my 14 year old daughter for filming and nearly got his butt kicked but he calmed down after seeing me. Two women decided to push their way against us smoking pot and cursing and yelling at my girlfriend and daughter. Again no security help. Then the man in front of us jumped up and down like a clown all over their feet and after repeatedly being told to stop continued and became even more ridiculous jumping around with his hands in the air until I got close enough to him to separate him from them. Both security people looking but not caring. We left. Completely ruined what should have been a nice time for me and my family. Just ridiculous. Terrible security. If I could get my $200 back for my 3 tickets I would certainly appreciate it!!!!!!

Great venue for an outdoor evening summer reggae show. Beautiful river views and a great crowd. I will look for more shows to go to there. There are so many small shops, pubs, and eateries within walking distance. Plus there is ample parking.
Paul S — Google review
Beautiful shady park with walkways off the riverfront. We saw a great concert at the amphitheater as well. Definitely going again!

I lived in cocoa beach in 2011 there was no homeless people in that park. Yesterday we were visiting this park there are two homeless people. There are enough shelters in the area I don’t understand why local government would allow something like this.

Great area, loved the splash pad and bathrooms right next to it. It was a great stop for an afternoon on our vacation. Also has a playground nearby which was fun for our young kiddos.

Nice park. Great view of the Indian River. Splash pad was closed, but the playground was great. Don't park using 717 parking lot on Brevard. App is faulty and your car will be towed, and/or ticketed even when paying accurately.

Taylor Park is a serene and tranquil recreational area that used to attract six children who enjoyed playing on the playground and feeding the squirrels. It offers a perfect opportunity to relive cherished memories of joyful laughter and excitement. The park's natural beauty provides an ideal escape, where one can observe their children interacting with others amidst the backdrop of nature's creatures. This picturesque park boasts a peaceful ambiance, allowing visitors to unwind while strolling through its scenic pathways.
The park at Cocoa Village is awesome. There's a stage for events, including concerts and family night movies in the park. Excellent place for the whole family and a splash pad for the little ones. Located one block from the heart of Cocoa Village.

Fun venue to catch live entertainment that's right on the river front. It is a small open air space, so it can get a little crowded. But there are a lot of bars & restaurants surrounding the area
Kenneth M — Google review
I have been bringing my daughters to this park for years. It is a staple in The Village. So many weddings attended here, so many play dates at the playground, homecoming and prom pictures taken here, seeing fireworks on the 4th of July, and going to play in the water coming out of the ground. My daughter and I took a stroll once more together through the park this week. Good times!
Dr. D — Google review
What a great park. It's right on the river so the views are amazing. Fun play equipment for the kids in a well kept grassy area. They have concerts and fireworks here on the fourth of July. Lots of cute buissneses with restaurants galore. Dog friendly too!

Love this place. We started our lives at this park and now our son is honored here with a beautiful tree and plaque. Thank you, Mayor Blake, for making this happen.

Great park with amazing views!! Lots of activities to do with the whole family! Lots of shaded areas for the hotter days! Very clean.
Christopher A — Google review
This little park is so beautiful. It just feels so peaceful and calm walking through there. The views of the water are amazing from almost any spot in the park. I wish I had a park like those close to my house. I would love to just sit here or take walks through here. Lots of places to eat nearby toom
Michael J — Google review
Our kids loved playing here! It was more crowded than anticipated, but it's laid out to where it can accommodate a high number of kids. There is parking close by, but it can depend on the time of day with how easy it is to find some that's available. Overall clean. The shade was pleasant, and there are lots of places within walking distance that are enjoyable and family friendly. We'd recommend some play time here! Even though the park closes at sunset, it became very dark pretty quickly, which didn't feel completely safe, at least in our opinion.

Lee Wenner Park is a spacious and well-maintained park situated on the south side of SR 520, offering a range of amenities such as picnic pavilions, play equipment, boardwalk access, and boat ramps. It boasts ample parking spaces for both cars and trailers with a wide boat ramp split into four separate ramps and docks parallel to each other. The park also features a pleasant walkway along the water with stunning views across the Indian River.
Cocoa village is a Great little area very walkable from Lee Wenner Park! Boat ramps & docks, & free parking. Busy on the weekends but quiet during the week. Lots of restaurants, bars, & shops within a mile. Dog friendly!! Has public bathrooms, water fountains for kids to play in, & events on the weekends- very family oriented area. Lots of sailboat anchored out & friendly people all around. Sometimes people are sleeping/living in the park but seemed harmless. Police do patrol the area so nothing negative really to say about the homeless/house less people.

Great place for launching boats. This is located along the south side of SR 520 as you are travelling west and reach the mainland. It is a fairly large park. It looks to have about 60 spots for vehicles with trailers and another 40 for just cars. It has a wide boat ramp for launching and recovering boats split into 4 ramps and docks parallel to each other. There is also a nice walkway along the water. At the East end of the park there is a place to walk under the bridge. The area was clean and well kept when I visited and it is obviously right on the water at the foot of the bridge so has lovely views across the water.

American restaurant
Pub Americana is an upbeat pub located in historic Cocoa Village, offering a unique twist on American comfort food. With a bright and inviting atmosphere, it serves delicious cocktails, beer, and wine alongside its eclectic menu. Their offerings include salads, sandwiches, pizzas, pastas, and their renowned burgers. The pub also boasts excellent service provided by the outstanding Josh. Additionally, Pub Americana provides an exceptional Happy Hour experience almost every day of the week.
Cocoa Beach, FL. Surprisingly fresh and healthy salads! The menu’s not just hamburgers and pub food. They have a good variety of salads. As a birthday treat, we came here to Cocoa Village as my friend wished. When we got hungry, Pub Americana met our health needs. Their Wedge Salad featured Gorgonzola cheese, crisp bacon chunks, cherry tomato halves, thin red onion slices and blue cheese dressing over a couple little wedges of iceberg lettuce. It was delicious and filling and it met my needs for a low carb, lower-potassium meal. My friends both got the Steak Caprese salads: Grilled tenderloin steak bites (a lot of them!), fresh mozzarella, grape tomatoes, Arcadian greens drizzled with a balsamic reduction. They were delighted with how good everything tasted. We sat outside and enjoyed the fresh sea air. Pub Americana is across the street from Taylor Park, and beyond that you can see the ocean. Like many of the establishments in Cocoa Village, Pub Americana welcomes dogs, so we had two furry friends sitting near us with their families. Our server (short dark hair) was wonderful. They knew what they were doing, remembered all the details, kept our glasses topped off, and checked on us and everyone outside very well. This was on Saturday, 5/31/25, around 1:25 pm. I recommend sitting outdoors here, if you can. By the way, their bathroom is to the left of the entrance and you go down a big dip in the floor that’s hard to see. Both my friends stumbled a bit going down and up that section of flooring. They commented the incline down could be better marked with a warning.

Delicious food! And options for all of us! Easy seating. Easy menus and everything came out within a super decent time frame! We had pizzas to pastas and my nephew said his chicken wings and buffalo Mac and cheese was amazing!

I got probably the best portobello mushroom sandwich I've ever had. The waitress was very friendly and her service was outstanding very quick and very understanding after I added on a piece of chicken for my dog after I had already ordered my sandwich. I know it can be a pain but she didn't seem to mind one bit. Everything was awesome

Went to Historic Cocoa. It’s like a Hallmark town. They were having a doggy day & dog contest. Our service was lovely, the drinks were absolutely fantastic, we had bloody marias. My husband ate the Cowboy Bison & I a Bison too. Delicious!!! Half pound and made perfectly. Parmesan Cheese fries, that is all.

We stopped here for lunch with our two young sons and my parents. Everyone loved their food. I ordered for my kids early so that their food would come out first. Everyone has so nice to them. They loved their food, too! My dad and I both ordered the wedge salads and added chicken. It was without a doubt the best salad I’ve ever had. I can’t wait to head back here!

Ryan's Pizza & Pub is a unique, family-owned eatery nestled in the charming Historic Cocoa Village. This Irish pub and pizzeria boasts an extensive selection of beers and offers outdoor seating for customers to enjoy. With live music on weekends, it creates a vibrant atmosphere that patrons love. The restaurant features a rooftop bar with breathtaking waterfront views that add to its magical ambiance. Their menu includes mouthwatering options like white pizza and meat lovers pizza, which are both scrumptious.
Our first time here and it was amazing! The view of the river is great and the food is delicious. We had the buffalo chicken pizza! Sydney was our server and she was the best!! Not just because we have the same name, she provided great service. We'll definitely be back!
Syd L — Google review
Food was good, pizzas are huge a lot of bang for your buck. The medium was enough for 2 to include having left overs for lunch. Little too much flop for my liking but still good and the atmosphere from the roof top was awesome!

Ryan’s Pizza & Pub in Cocoa Village offers a great dining experience with a welcoming atmosphere and excellent food. I ordered a slice of pizza and was impressed not only by the generous portion size but also by the flavor – perfectly cooked with a great balance of sauce, cheese, and crust. The spaghetti was equally impressive – rich, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. Whether you’re stopping in for a quick bite or a full meal, Ryan’s delivers quality and satisfaction. Highly recommend!

We have been coming here for a while now, like every couple of months. *Read your check when you get it... later in review. Sooo....recently a group of 5 of us stopped by for a late lunch on a Sunday. Even though it was hot out we sat on the rooftop patio in the shade, great view. 2 of us got the Stromboli - it is always good, as in their Pizza. Another got the wings, also very good. My friend got a caesar salad, not good. It wasn't very cold and was wilted looking, their salads are not the best. I ordered the chicken tacos. They were very tasty! Came with homemade chips. I also ask for a coleslaw - it was also warm, I did not eat it. Told our server, she said "oh no, I will bring you a fresh one". It never arrived. Server was friendly, but service was a little slow, and scattered. Anyway- about your check... They charge you more if you use a card! All our itemized food items prices had changed on our final bill. We had to ask, and that's when we found out. Ridiculous! No restaurant I have been to does this. Everyone uses cards today. How about you just adjust your menu prices to make it clear and fair. I am sure some patrons don't even see it. But for the ones who do, the poor servers have to explain all day and get the brunt of complaints, not fair. Sneaky and disappointing.

While visiting the Historic District browsing and shopping, we were looking for a quick but good place to eat. We came across this diamond! The location wasn’t in the heart of the district, but on a side street close to the park in a plaza of shops Upon entering, we were asked if we wanted to go on the rooftop. We declined as we opted to stay inside the restaurant. Abby, I believe she stated was her name came to our table and introduced herself. She got our drinks and took our orders. We selected the thin crust with 3 toppings; pepperoni, bacon and ham. It came to our table quickly it seemed like. However, the guy that delivered it seemed unfriendly. We asked if we could have plates. He complied and got them for us, but it seemed as we were asking for something out of the norm. The pizza was good and the crust was crispy. My only suggestion is to spread the meats over the entire pizza and not clumped in one area. Therefore, you can enjoy all toppings with every bite. We loved the atmosphere and scenery because we could look out the window as we ate. I highly recommend visiting this pizza and pub if you’re walking around downtown. You will not be disappointed. After eating, you can continue walking by the water and the park

I had a great time celebrating the 4th of July at this location. The service and pizza were great. The drinks were excellent. However, we were disappointed with the nachos, as we expected corn chips instead of waffle potato fries. Overall, it’s a good place to hang out with friends.

Café Margaux is an elegant restaurant known for its blend of French and European cuisine with hints of Asian and Mediterranean flavors. Since 1989, this upscale eatery has been a favorite among food enthusiasts in Florida. The restaurant offers a formal dining space as well as a charming leafy patio for outdoor dining. With an extensive wine selection of 4,000 bottles and 400 varieties, Café Margaux ensures that there's something to satisfy every palate.
2nd time we eat here for our anniversary. My wife and I both enjoyed the meals we were served. From the apps to the desert, everything was wonderful! The service was on par, and they paid attention to detail. Prices are fair for the quality of food they offer. We left full and even had leftovers to take home. If you are looking for a high-end restaurant with a high-end vibe without the ridiculous high-end cost, you won't regret eating here. Highly recommend and will be back!! Just be respectful and make a reservation!

Upscale dinning experience that did not disappoint. We dinned in for date night, no reservation and we were seated quickly. The resturant is beautifully decorated and I loved the blue velvet chairs. We started with the scallops as our appetizer. Cooked perfectly and that sauce was addictive!! I definitely dipped my bread in it! Yum : ) Our table ordered the fish trio and rack of lamb. Both were cooked perfectly. The swordfish on the trio was my favorite. The rack of lamb was flavorful, tender and mouth watering with the herbs and garlic topping. Perfect date night spot! Highly recommend

We decided to have a small wedding reception with 10 guests at Cafe Margaux. As we were coming in from out of state, Megan worked with us via email to set a room aside for us and also to customize a menu for the meal. She also suggested printing out a cover page for our menu for us and we hadn't even thought of that and it turned out beautiful! They also allowed us to bring in our own wedding cake and offered to cut our cake into perfect pieces for everyone. Even the staff were so sweet, taking pictures of our cute cake (from Sweet Geeky Bakery), and congratulated us with dessert wine. Our guests loved the food and the ambience. Personal favorites include the baked brie, escargot crock, and scallops. We'll definitely come back on our next visit to Cocoa!

5/5 Stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had an amazing time. Food incredible, service fantastic, everything just wonderful. We came for our daughter's birthday and it was simply the best experience. Couldn't say better things. We'll definitely be back for special dates. Totally worth the cost.

Upon recommendations from many of our friends for a high-end restaurant, we came here expecting superior quality of service and food. I've heard so many wonderful things over the years and was very excited to splurge and enjoy ourselves. Unfortunately although the food was fantastic, the service we found severely lacking for a $250 dinner. We were seated immediately because we had a reservation, as someone who likes personal space, the tables were exceptionally close to each other. But the seats were comfy and we were here to celebrate so didn't mind. Our initial server was wonderful, went through the menu, answered questions about certain dish preparation, had great recommendations for drinks, And if she had stuck around, this review would be ending very differently. Unfortunately after the appetizers were delivered, she disappeared and we never saw her again. A different woman quickly dropped off the wine when the entree was delivered, and then for about 40 minutes, nobody came by to ask how our food was or if we needed anything, which actually we did and had to go without. My husband got the USDA ribeye and it had a big hard tendon piece in it, but there was no one around to even tell. For $70 steak this is unacceptable. Nobody refilled our waters the entire meal (Yes we are capable of refilling our waters ourselves, but this is not the type of place that you should have to do that) About 40 minutes later a different third person came by long after we were finished and waiting around for the check and boxes, dropped dessert menus on the table with nothing more than "Hope you saved room" before quickly walking away. No explanation of desserts, no recommendations. At this point we were over it, although initially we had said we were going to do dessert. We had her bring the check and left. We noticed that our first server was still in the restaurant but serving other tables now. Very confused as to what happened here. Where we forgotten? Is this one of those places where multiple different servers take care of all the tables like at a cheap diner? I don't know. But for our bill for two people to have an appetizer, entrees, and 1 drink at $250, this was absolutely not worth it. After hearing so many wonderful things, and choosing this restaurant to celebrate a major life event that, our experience fell far short of expectations. The food: The Florida rib eye was well seasoned, and had a nice char. Cooked perfectly. I subbed the mashed potatoes which were also delicious. Asparagus was well cooked. The USDA ribeye was under seasoned, no char, the meat was softer, but it was lacking in flavor. My husband says he preferred mine, and I wholeheartedly agree. Roasted potatoes he enjoyed although they were not my cup of tea. The meatball appetizer was just okay. Nothing special, and definitely not worth $18. The scallop appetizer was absolutely amazing and I would come back just for this alone. A beautiful delicate creamy sauce, and scallops were perfectly cooked. The french fries with key lime truffle sauce were beyond delicious. I'll be trying to recreate that sauce at home! Definitely would recommend these for the table. Our drinks from the bar were also fantastic although I don't remember the names. I got a martini with fig vodka and cranberry juice. We also had a glass of the Charles Krug red wine. Absolutely no complaints there. And the drinks were surprisingly well priced. All in all, the food was definitely good enough to come back for, but we would probably see if they offer take out because having to leave a $50 tip for service that bad is insulting to me as a customer. And yes I could have left nothing, but I'm not that type of person. I don't know what happened here last night, but I'm hoping the manager sees this review and corrects whatever issue might be going on in case our experience was not just a one-off.
E'ala B — Google review
Really liked the special "flavors" menu. The 3 fish and sauce pairings in the melange were fabulous and I got a taste of each fresh catch. I was impressed that they were proactive and asked if it was a special occasion; then followed it up with a special dessert wine serving. Plan to make lunch or dinner at Cafe Margaux a more frequent item in my calendar.
Constance K — Google review
This is our favorite place for important events. We celebrated my 80th birthday. The food was excellent and the service never disappoints us. We had a wonderful head server Tracey a very warm and carring professional. We loved every moment of cafe Margeaux. I not going to repeat everything everyone else said about the triple fish. Their cocktails were also excellent. Do your self a favor top the night off with an expresso martini. My wife and I decided we wait too long between visits so we are going to make this a once a month stop.

Parking is $20 for the full day or pay by the hour, but why when you know you are going to want to stay all day!

Well what we were able to see was nice. They were impacted by the hurricane. I'm sure it will be beautiful when it's all back together.

Great place to go to the beach, shower up and then have a barbecue in the provided grills and pavilions. The only issue I noticed was that there was a lot of bird poop on the picnic tables, but I brought a battery operated pressure washer with a 5 gallon container of water and was able to wash enough tables for what I needed.. great location just remember you have to pay for parking but if you’re going to be there all day it’s cheaper just to pay at the machine instead of using the app because the App keep charging you five dollars for every hour. So if you are using the app and you’re over five hours, you will keep paying more than if you had just paid at the machine.

It has free parking and it is clean. Has everything you need as a family or by yourself to make this your “camp” for a sweet time at the Cocoa Beach. Provides Bathrooms and park benches for picnics as well as a shower for after beaching.

Super clean beach and awesome sand. There was plenty of parking but it was five dollars per hour. Totally worth the drive over from Orlando!
Matthew J — Google review
BONUS- several showers to clean off all the sand, if you park in this lot then right off the boardwalk there are chair and umbrella rentals if needed. Parking- non shaded parking, pay parking that's right now $5 then additional for every hour. Beach access- super easy access from a boardwalk right to the coast. This is our go-to when visiting Florida. It is right next to the iconic Cocoa beach Ron Jon's and is a staple for us! The lot is so easy to park at and it's just a little walk over a wooden board walk to the beach. ALWAYS recommend keeping sandals on because that sand is burning hot. Every single time, lol. There are always beautiful shells to find here.

Fun time at the beach but air show was unimpressive

Short walk to the beach. You must pay to park normally, but handicap exempt. Masks were worn by some as we passed. Law enforcement was patrolling. Restrooms available.

Elsie was such a pleasure to meet today. She invited us in to get out of the heat. I was delightfully surprised by the gem I had wandered into. As a local and native of the space coast, this is a great place to find resources about events and activities for little ones, families, and hobbies/interests that you may be wanting to explore. Elsie takes pride in providing helpful information to make and get the most out of where we live and it really shows! She and the space were more than welcoming to little ones as well with fun coloring books, stickers, and beach toys that were meant to be played with. We definitely will be returning!

The Space Coast Office of Tourism Visitor Information Center is an absolute gem! The lady working there was so friendly, knowledgeable, and incredibly helpful. She has everything you could need—restaurant menus, coupons, brochures for local attractions, a full calendar of events, and even information on historical tours. Whatever you ask about, she knows all about it and has a brochure ready for you. They even have coloring books, crayons, and fun activities for kids to learn beach safety, which is such a thoughtful touch for families. This has been extremely helpful for me and my family as we just moved here to Merritt Island from Louisiana. A must-stop spot for anyone new to the area or visiting the Space Coast!

I stopped in this visitor center in Cocoa Beach looking for new ideas awhile back and found lots more than I expected! Elsie especially is such a beacon of passion for the Space Coast her recommendations go beyond typical brochures, she always seems to know the perfect local gems or the coolest new tours or the best spots to see the rocket launches. I have come back for more than one visit and she has always taken the time to ask just the right questions and send me off with a plan to make the day unforgettable. If you come anywhere near the Space Coast make this friendly place your first stop, you will see the oceans and the stars not just the trees.

The Indian River Queen is a distinctive three-deck paddle-wheel boat that offers a unique way to explore the diverse ecosystem of the river and lagoon. On board, guests can spot manatees, various bird species, and other wildlife while cruising along the water. The friendly staff ensures a warm welcome and excellent service throughout the experience. Guests can enjoy delicious food, live music, and even have their photo taken upon arrival.
Valentines Surf & Turf Cruise! Two thumbs up staff was 100% awesome. Food was excellent and bar service hands down. All members of crew said hi and asked how everything was. Even got to talk to captain in pilot house. You will notice throughout the cruise that all hands on deck clear table and deliver food. Band was great playing and ages of music. Highly recommend will be bringing family and friends next trip. 10 out of 5......

The Indian River Queen, Penny, Marissa, and the rest of the staff knocked it out of the park. This venue was everything I dreamed of & more. The Indian River lagoon provided us with an amazing setting to welcome our guests & give them a non-traditional wedding experience. The staff were attentive, communicative, & welcoming. I am still reviving messages from friends & family raving about this night. Thank you for everything & for helping us to make a dream come true!!

We went for the 1hr "It takes a village" cruise and had a great time. The staff was great, very pleasant experience. They had a small eatery open with coffee, donuts and snacks for purchase. We would definitely go again for a dinner cruise

We had our first ride on the Indian River Queen Friday, was so impressed! From the moment we boarded, service was phenomenal. We had our pic taken when boarding, which was ours to take home when we disembarked. The entertainment was outstanding, the singer has a lot of talent and played all the best songs. Crydermens dinner was very good. My only complaint was the price of the alcohol, a beer and a glass of wine $16, so be prepared. The staff are so polite, happy and helpful. Truly an awesome experience, definitely looking forward to doing this again!

So much fun. Only thing I would change is to have a little sign on the hot food table so patrons would not keep opening the hot food trays before it's time to do so. Everyone was awesome and happy and there for a fun tour. Not at all disappointed.

Beautiful boat, staff are all soooooo nice. Was a great night on the water. The night ended with an awesome rocket launch too. Only downside was n ot knowing they were serving food and we almost missed all the food as we were on top deck. My only suggestion would be an announcement that food serving had started (we didn't realize it started pretty much right after taking off from dock) the photo we got to take home with us was such a nice surprise! Again did I mention how great and friendly the staff were? Top notch bartenders who deserve to be tipped high!

The Historic Cocoa Village Playhouse (CVP) has been a part of the community since 1924, offering a variety of entertainment including musicals, comedies, and dramas. It is also home to The Henagar Center in Melbourne and hosts the Runaway Country Festival at Wickham Park. With over 20 restaurants, it's a culinary gem and offers food tours. Visitors have enjoyed live theatre for over 70 years here and are impressed by the talent displayed in performances like Oklahoma!
🎭Impressive Performances in an Authentic Setting🎭 It's incredible to think that this building is over 100 years old! When I attend a performance here, I can feel the history, dignity, and pride of the cast, crew, and staff. I've seen both "Beauty and the Beast" and "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" here. Each play featured talented artists, live music accompaniment, and exciting special effects. Best of all: I get the satisfaction of giving back to the community--all while being thoroughly entertained! Tickets to a show at the Cocoa Village Playhouse make a great gift. They're very affordable and lead to a fun weekend out and about with family and friends. Be sure to walk through the historic district while you're visiting!

I’ve had the privilege of seeing many productions at Cocoa Village Playhouse over the years, and each time I leave in awe — In short, CVP is absolutely stunning! ✨ Their current production of School of Rock is an absolute masterpiece — an explosion of energy where the incredible cast and crew have caught lightning in a bottle! 🤩🎸 It’s a heart-felt, electrifying experience that truly moves and inspires you! CVP is a model environment for empowering the next generation in a professional-level production environment! They foster imagination, talent, and growth in their performers, and it shows. 🎭👏 Thank you to everyone at CVP for continuing the streak of unforgettable performances and for your commitment to keeping theatre alive, thriving, and magical. BRAVO from the balcony!! 👍🎭🎸

Enjoyed Jesus Christ Superstar... what a great production.. Broadway would be proud. Just attended a celebration of the 80's. Adrenaline rush and once again great performance: acting, band, singing and costumes A++ Also, great venue and interactions with the staff, and volunteers. A++ They love the theater and their positions.

We met friends in Cocoa to attend the show "Tommy" at this community playhouse. What a great little theater. It holds about 600 people including the balcony. Great view of the stage from row P, left. Lots of leg room and elevation in each row. Acoustics were very good. Staff were helpful and part of the acting troupe. The only minor issue is the entry foyer to the theater is very tiny; restroom lines filing into the space during intermission. (Not a problem for me but might be an issue for some). This is a great little theater with plenty of street parking within a few blocks. If you have the opportunity, see a performance here.

My husband and I went for the very first time and watched School of Rock. The cast was awesome, the kids were absolutely amazing, and the props and wardrobe were great. We had a wonderful time. The theater is beautiful, but old style so the seats are not too comfortable. We can't wait to return to see future shows.

This was my first time seeing the band Hot Pink and my first time at the Cocoa Village Playhouse. What a wonderful show! The seats are quite comfortable and the temperature inside the theater was perfect, not too cold. Great sound and acoustics. If you are a short person like me, it may be difficult for you to see the full stage since the seats are not really staggered so if you end up with a someone tall sitting in front of you, your view may be completely blocked. I wish they had a few more bathrooms, the line can get pretty long during intermission. I still look forward to checking out other events at this venue! They mentioned the building will be 100 years old this august, that's amazing.

I attended the Hot Pink concert. It was “Tommy” and incredible. The music was amazing as was every aspect of the theater. Great place, great acoustics, great staff ….simply a wonderful operation!!
Sunderll — Google review
Beautiful theatre, fantastic talent, and overall a very good experience, but the chairs. The chairs are horrible. I really had trouble enjoying the show nearing the end as I could not focus and was just so uncomfortable. I thought it was maybe just me, but both people I was with said the same thing. I don't know if I will return due to the comfortability of sitting through a show, but the talent was just fantastic, and the historic theater is very beautiful. We also had someone sneak into one of our extra empty seats, which wasn't a big deal, but he was clearly drunk and kept audibly burping, grunting, and just being onboxiosu, and it would be nice if the crew was around to keep an eye on this sort of thing.

Restaurant
Milpa Tacos y Tortillas is a must-visit spot for those craving authentic Mexican flavors. The birria plate is a standout, and the tacos are bursting with deliciousness, offering a variety of flavors to savor. Pair your meal with unlimited mimosas featuring delightful options like tamarindo and guava. While the decor may not match the food's excellence, the virgin mojito drinks are brightly flavored and refreshing.
Out of town meeting friends who suggested and WOW were they right! Absolute GEM of a small town restaurant, perfect experience eating and cocktailing at their comfy HAPPY bar. Stassi the bartender was LEGEND... this guy is a NATURAL. He was VERY involved in our experience, VERY knowledgeable and it is clearly obvious he is totally into his craft... this is not a "job" for this guy, it's his nature. From explaining the history of various cocktails and spirits to his ability to chat and interact with his guests in a seamless manner while he preps artistic orange peels and shaves ice cubes for your PROFESSIONAL old fashioned, he is an utter LEGEND in his craft. All staff here is very professional and straight up on point to make sure the guest experience sets the bar. General manager lady was wonderful as well, making sure to engage with us prior to leaving and bidding a proper farewell. Food is ON POINT as well, presentation is everything and the taste and freshness was 10/10. It's OBVIOUS the customer is #1 at Milpa, and it is my honor to return again despite it being 2 hours drive. THANK YOU MILPA!!

Milpa authentic Mexican dishes. Great variety of choices. Great atmosphere and location. Reasonably priced and you won’t leave hungry. Guacamole and queso con chorizo were nice appetizers. Main course was a large portion. Dessert torta de tres leches was tops!

Today I visited Historic Cocoa Village and ran into the most unexpected pallet paradise, Milpa Tacos y Tortillas. We were greeted by Estrella and Jackie, who took care of us all evening, they were so pleasant. We began our lunch with the fresh Guacamole, that come with 3 tostadas, it was delicious and very fresh, I added a little lemon as this is my preference. We proceeded to ask for the following tacos: shrimp , pastor, cachet and attackers, and all I can say is that I am unable to tell which was best. We had heard about the restaurant’s Margaritas and ordered the house one and a guava margarita, both were to die for. To finish we ordered a flan brûlée which was a nice culmination to our lunch experience. The environment in the restaurant was pleasa And intimates. By the time we were done with our food the restaurant was packed with a diverse crowd that included children, young adults, and different ages. They do wine pairing events and in my books they are a 10 out of 10. We will be back soon.

My husband and I live in Brevard County since the end of December 2023 and this is BY FAR our favorite restaurant, hands down! Milpa is on another level of AUTHENTIC Mexican restaurant & my husband and I love to go out and try new places, but Milpa got us in a chokehold it’s so freaking good!! 😃 It makes it hard to go anywhere else for date nights… This place is an absolute gem and if you love authentic Mexican food YOU HAVE TO TRY THIS PLACE! We come here at least twice a month. Estrella is our favorite waitress, quick, very attentive and always fun to talk to. Amazing service!! 👏🏼 You can’t go wrong with anyhting here…. From the queso and chips to their Tacos. And don’t get me started on their Brûlée desert….yuumm!! Everything is just so fresh and you can tell it’s not coming out of a can or that it would be heated up in a microwave…. They take pride in what they’re doing. Their cocktails (especially their margaritas) are handmade, no fish bowls and taste sooooo amazing! Our favorite are the Guava and Tamarind Margaritas. Thank you Milpa Team for your efforts and amazing quality in your foods and service. We love and appreciate your place so much! Trust me when you come here you WILL want to come back!

They saw to that everyone was taken care and satisfied with their experience. In all, it was a great day. Everyone complimented me on the venue and food. My mother was overwhelmed by all. Go and celebrate your next celebration at Milpa in Cocoa Village.

Last night 09-26-2025 my wife and I had a wonderful delicious dinner in MILPA. The meals were “Mexican gourmet dishes”. In other words, a menu full of good flavorfully authentic homemade Mexican cuisine choices (top quality…the best of the best) Definitively MILPA does not offer Tex-Mex food…MILPA is another level because all of their dishes are made from scratch. We also had a margarita plus one cup of sangria (beyond excellent). This restaurant atmosphere is very friendly and as soon as we arrived our 2 waiters “Star” and “Andre” made us feel at home. Great service and they never rushed us to finish…by the contrary they always were ready to please our requests. Before the main meals we had 2 appetizers: “ground chorizo on a melted white cheese” and in top of it we got a “Guacamole bowl”. After it we had the main meals and they were the “crème de la crème” (big portions) …we cannot wait to go back to MILPA…there is not other real Mexican food in Brevard County, Florida…this restaurant is a great addition to our downtown and Cocoa Village…and before to end our date we ordered a "3 leches cake".

Amazing place! We come here frequently. Margaritas are amazing, perfectly balanced and tasty. Reasonably priced too! Always get the Chipotle Shrimp, very unique. This is not you typical Tex-mex place. It has unique offerings with very good flavor. Service is always great. We had Jamie tonight, she was delightful and very helpful. The only issue encountered at Bro's Burger was a strange odor, but the restrooms were clean and well-stocked. The food was enjoyable, with all items cooked perfectly to order. For those who appreciate Latin cuisine, the chicken and shrimp empanadas were delicious and expertly prepared. The chicken filling lacked spiciness. One must-try is the Bros tropical burger cooked medium-rare; it boasts an incredible flavor reminiscent of the Islands.
Ok so the only thing I didn’t like was the odd smell here. The bathrooms are clean and stocked unlike what another reviewer found. The food was good and found all items cooked well as ordered. So as I love Latin food we ordered an order of chicken and shrimp empanadas. Both were very good and cooked well. The chicken was not spicy. I had the Bros tropical burger cooked med rare. It had an amazing flavor that did remind me of being at the Islands. I did get the yuca fries and so well worth getting as they were great. The kids all had burgers also as liked them. I did feel the menu was priced correctly. The food did come out in a reasonable amount of time and service was good. I would dine here again if I am back in town.

Bro's Burgers has excellent comfort food. Clearly they have chefs, not simple cooks. Bare bones atmosphere, fantastic service (above and beyond). Great vegan burger. Yucca fries are good, and if I were them, I would get rid of the regular skinny fries to heartier steak fries. We'll be back. Parking may be a challenge at times.

Looks like a new place, still getting the word out. We stopped in for a late lunch and had a very nice meal. The Original burger was fresh and tasty, and the Tropical burger with a nice big slice of pineapple was terrific. Fries were really good too. Added to all that was excellent and friendly service. Go for it, you won't be disappointed.

This place looked so promising. Nice decor & interesting Brazilian fusion. First, the food is a bit overpriced & the quality is ok. Second, cleanliness could be a lot better— bathrooms had a foul odor with no soap or paper towels & couches had salt from previous customers on it. Would I go here again? Probably not. Food is decent; just overpriced & needs to improve cleanliness. Food ordered: - hangover burger : was okay. Not the best or worst burger, just overpriced. Fries were good. - garlic shrimp with yuca: it was good but I imagined something different for the shrimp. Yuca fries were good. - empanadas : shrimp was good. Chicken a bit salty & beef was okay. I would skip the garlic shrimp & try their steak picanha that looked interesting & their empanadas are good to share. As a burger joint, they have good options.
Natasha C — Google review
Bro's Burgers introduces an intriguing blend of American-inspired and Brazilian-infused flavors, inviting diners on a culinary journey. My choice for the day was the Hangover burger, adorned with a fried egg and crispy bacon. From an aesthetic and ingredient quality standpoint, the Hangover burger lived up to expectations. However, its taste, while pleasant, didn't quite leave an indelible mark on my palate. It was a satisfying burger, but it didn't reach the level of culinary excitement I had hoped for. One factor that might give pause to potential patrons is the pricing. Bro's Burgers leans towards the higher end of the pricing spectrum, which could be a deterrent for some. I know for me the first thing I noticed was how priced things were for a lunch time menu. While the menu offerings and fresh ingredients do justify some of the cost, it's important to consider your budget before planning a visit. On the plus side, the staff at Bro's Burgers was undeniably friendly and attentive, ensuring a pleasant dining experience from start to finish. Bro's Burgers offers an intriguing culinary fusion, with the Hangover burger being a commendable choice. However, the relatively high prices just seem to be a bit much for what you are getting . If pricing were more competitive, I would gladly give them a 4-star rating. For now, though, I have to say 3 stars. It wasn’t a bad experience, there just wasn’t anything unique or impressive that justified such a high cost.

We’re Brazilians looking for a caipirinha. Their caipirinha is awesome with one of the best cachaças from Brazil, Salinas. My husband had 2 and I one. My husband had a picanha sandwich and I had the BrieBurguer. They’re both delicious and I truly recommend a try. Come back for sure

This is the place to go for large belly busting burgers. I am not sure of the exact weight of each patty. At least 1/3 pounds and getting a double will be a challenge to finish. There are many choices, including one, the Insane Burger, topped with chicken, ham, bacon, an egg, hotdog, and veggies. My son got it and struggled to finish it. All sandwiches come with a side of fries. If I had any complaints, the meats are quite salty to my taste, and the prices are steep, but you get a huge burger. It's worth checking out if you are hungry.

We had 2 pm tickets for the Cocoa Village theater on Sunday the 2nd and decided to try Bro’s Burgers and we are happy we did. We were warmly greeted, given menus and our drink orders taken. My parents ordered the the fish and chips which included two large perfectly fried pieces of fish and crunchy shoestring fries and The grilled chicken was juicy on a fresh crisp salad. The hamburger was delicious, cooked as requested on a soft tasty bun. Service was outstanding and the food was delicious. Win - Win! We certainly will return.

The course for disc golf is particularly beautiful, with well-marked holes that make navigation easy.

James G. Bourbeau Memorial Park

Park
Nestled along County 520, James G. Bourbeau Memorial Park serves as a delightful pit stop for travelers navigating between I-95 and the Bee Line Expressway. This scenic park spans the banks of the St. John's River, offering picturesque views and a serene atmosphere perfect for outdoor activities like fishing or cruising on the river system. While enjoying your time here, you might even spot a charming alligator lounging under the bridge!
Checked this park out for some amateur astronomy. While there are some parking lights, there's not many. There's good sky visibility with little to no obstructions in most places looking 30° up in altitude. Plus this park is in Bortle 4 conditions! Rare in modern Florida. Will be coming back here future nights.

The bathrooms worked when I reserved the pavilion. People used Lone Cabbage and the park across the highway, which had glorified porta potties so it worked out, but it would have been five stars with bathrooms. No bugs until sunset, so be sure to adhere to the closing time, for your own protection! They were vicious once they came out.

Always stop here when we are going to and from the beach. There is a sweet little alligator who lives under the bridge. Wish they would reopen the public restrooms although you can use the one at Lone Cabbage.

The football games that are held here are memorable 🙌
Shamona S — Google review
Great Little park; a small organized travel softball tournament was underway here with a pretty good turn out. The park itself needs tons of maintenance and updating. The dugout on all fields are rusted and at risk of falling apart. The dirt on the fields is in need of a complete overhaul. The concession building is holding up but needs a lot of updating as well. Not horrible but the park got the job done hosting the event.

Natural History Museums
The Brevard Museum of History and Natural Science in Cocoa Beach, Florida is a top attraction offering a deep dive into the area's natural and cultural history. Visitors can explore exhibits featuring dioramas, replicas of extinct animals, fossils, mollusks, and archaeological finds from the prehistoric past of the eastern Florida coast. The museum also showcases the region's space exploration legacy and Native American tribes' history.
Free and fun, ran souly by volunteers in our community. I hadn't been since I was a kid and getting to reexperience it with my own children was truly amazing! The scavenger hunt was a huge hit, my 4 year old was so engaged the entire time!
Jennifer W — Google review
The museum is free! It's really a great spot to check out and get some brevard history! It's not big but it has a wonderful collection! My kids loved the giant collection of shells!!! The play area where you can be an astronaut! The walking trails are beautiful very long but worth it!!! They have a scavenger hunt wich is great because it gets the kids involved! Will definitely come again

This is a really nice “hidden gem” in Cocoa, FL. It actually has a nice hiking trail to explore with natural (so limiting) views of the lake. The museum is wonderful and how every museum should be… FREE, but please donate if you can to keep that the case! They have multiple displays that are interesting and educational. I highly recommend visiting and taking advantage of this facility.

Great Free museum for families and kids in Space coast Florida. Great variety of interesting things to see, but playroom. Clean restroom and plenty of parking. They have a huge hiking trails to check out! We loved the scavenger hunt and unique 3D glasses from 18 or 19 the century! Also shell collection is beautiful. Great friendly people are working there, it’s a great place to learn about the history of Florida!

Hidden gem featuring local history and fossils. Wooly Mammoth, Saber tooth tigers and fossils kids can touch. It's very child friendly. Free entry.
Cindy G — Google review
Haven't been inside yet, but I've gone with my little pup and walked the nature trails the museum has behind the building. It's a nice walk with numerous trails, as well as paved paths. It's well maintained, too. Looking forward to visiting the inside of the free museum and will update after I explore the images of this free museum!
Erin — Google review
This museum had lots of historical artifacts and an amazing shell display! Ben and Greg were very friendly and knowledgeable. Ben shared his experiences working with the space shuttle program, which was very special. We really enjoyed our visit.
Abby C — Google review
This place is simply incredible! Make sure you wear comfortable shoes because it is much larger than you are expecting! The displays are well organized and the entire museum is impeccably clean. All the staff were very warm and welcoming. They offered a ton of insight on everything around you and they love answering questions. The butterfly garden in the back is a quick walk but everything was blooming and it was beautiful. The nature walk outside (to the left of the entrance) was absolutely STUNNING. You can stay on the concrete path or venture off the many smaller "natural" paths. I did a bit of both and thoroughly enjoyed myself. I will most definitely return here.

I love this place. They have walking trails which go around Clearlake the lake that is behind Travis park and the recreation center. The walking trails start at the playground location and take you all the way around Clearlake. You go out the wood trails into (EFSC) Eastern Florida State College formally known as (BCC) Brevard community college. This is where the old planetarium used to be at Brevard community college but they took down the planetarium, which is sad. Contine to travel through the college and it takes you back to the park area. Also if you use some of the side trails will you could end up finding The Brevard Museum on Michigan Avenue or even the bridge that takes you acrosss the swampy area. You’ll see all kinds of wildlife birds, lizards, armadillos I even saw a bunny the other day. Snakes don’t worry it was just a black racer. It won’t hurt you. This is a great park to take your kids to play outside and get some fresh air teach them about wildlife and just have fun. They have a basketball court outside as well as inside, and water fountain and restrooms inside only availible when the recreation center is open . The park even has a book exchange spot located outside the recreation center. This is where you could put your old books and possibly grab some new books to read. The book exchange is shaped like a little house, so it kinda looks like a little bird house, but it’s Travis Parks little book house.😃

Travis Recreation Center offers a volleyball court, indoor and outdoor basketball court, covered playground, small covered pavilion, and a pond with walking path. It's a shame that it's views include a dilapidated planetarium and neglected former YMCA building and now underutilized Olympic-sized pool. Travis also offers summer and winter camp! I teach Zumba Fitness classes there and we love the space, air conditioning, and clean bathroom facilities.

The playground needs improvement. There were open bottles. And the playground equipment has rusted over rubbing onto hands . I didn't feel comfortable letting my 1 year old on the playground. Seafood restaurant
Lone Cabbage Fish Camp is a relaxed and welcoming riverside eatery that specializes in Southern-style seafood. With an ambiance infused with country music, this low-key bar and kitchen offers patrons the chance to embark on exhilarating airboat rides. Visitors can enjoy a delectable meal consisting of fresh seafood dishes while being serenaded by live entertainment. The restaurant's warm and helpful staff contribute to creating unforgettable memories for guests.
Come for the airboat ride, stay for the gator bites and bar. This place is a gem! The airboat ride was amazing, and the captain made it so much fun! The gator bites are delicious as well (bonus points for seeing gators in the distance while eating)! The atmosphere of the location is perfect.

Visiting from out of state. Very lovely place with great atmosphere. The service was amazing along with the view. We ate everything we got because it was all so delicious. The food came out fast and hot. When there was a mistake with the order they fixed it promptly. Quiet environment. We got to see and eat a gator in one night!

I am rating a 4 for the 4 only because I am not a fried good person ... but with that said it is getting a 4 ... we not only ate but had drinks... We also enjoyed the BEST airboat ride ever!!! Thank you, Capt Gill!!!

Outdoor seating on the water with beautiful scenery. The frog legs were cooked to perfection. Seriously some of the best frog legs I've ever had. The catfish and gator bites were really good too but the frog legs were jumping to the top of the list. They were delicious. Nice park nearby for fishing and outdoor activities. And there's air boat rides. What more can you ask for? I will be returning
Leavy P — Google review
I was driving back from the keys and kept asking chat gpt to find me gator tail… Instead I got catfish bites, gator and frog legs. Baked beans were great and so were the hushpuppies! I wish I had time to sit and enjoy the view of the river. I will be coming back. Also, live music. Awesome place!

Laid back, open air, keeping it simple. Get you some fried food right on the water. Gator was well fried and seasoned, but be prepared, it’s a little chewy. Goes very well with the sauce, not even sure what it’s called but don’t care. Catfish was very tasty, fries were well fried and crispy. Some flies and birds may come visit, but it’s all good. Don’t go too fast on those Cutwater vodka drinks!

Although I have lived in Brevard County since 2011, this is my 1st trip to this iconic Space Coast tourist trap (in the good way). Dixie Crossings, you're next! Where 520 meets the St. Johns River, this Old Florida joint is not quite as grand as I envisioned. Squat, mostly open-air building with a simple indoor (air-conditioned) dining room, a covered bar and seating area, a riverside deck with umbrella-shaded tables, and a few tables under a giant Oak tree. However, the food is very good (although mostly fried), the service is excellent, and yes, you can take an airboat out onto the river to see snakes, alligators, and Brevard/Orange Counties' almost-famous Swamp cows! Welcome to West by God Cocoa!
KeepTheCapeWeird — Google review
We had a great time!! Went mid week and did an airboat ride. Food was good. I had a “seafood platter” that our waitress suggested. It was good- different- but good! (Catfish, alligator and frog legs). Husband had the fish- very good. Lots of outdoor seating. A large group was there when we were. A little bit of a wait for a server, but hanging by the water on a nice spring day was just fine with us. The airboat ride was fun. We did that first then ate- perfect order! Not very loud in the restaurant but you do hear the airboat- but not too loud to visit. We thought it would be great to visit when music plays on a weekend. We had a little wait for the next airboat trip, but had enough time to drink a beer and enjoy sitting by the water as we waited. We saw A LOT of alligators!! Just a fun trip to do! We will bring family & friends when we’re back in the area.

Pizza restaurant
Odyssey Pizza & Subs is a charming, unpretentious eatery that has become a beloved staple in Cocoa. Known for its delectable Greek-style pizza, this parlor also offers mouthwatering gyros and an array of sandwiches. The thin-crust pizza is particularly noteworthy, boasting a cheesy goodness and rich flavors that keep patrons coming back for more. Many locals rave about the pepperoni and cheese options, highlighting their unique taste derived from an in-house recipe.
Lived here all my life and just now tried this place I’ve heard about forever. One of the best pizzas I have ever had. Not floppy, just the right amount of bread and sauce, generous cheese, just enough grease from the pepperoni to be flavorful and delicious. We will definitely be back!

Rasalind J — Google review
First time for me, their subs super good. Pizza was hot and yummy. Glad we went there
Mulan V — Google review
Got a sub to go - I wasn't there for the experience or "ambience." It's a local pizza/sub shop that has been around for decades. Don't expect updated decor, or a place to propose with a 1 carat gem. Again, that's not why I chose to order food here. I was hungry & needed something relatively quick to-go, and was hoping the reviews lived up to the hype. Got a meatball sub. Positives: bread was toasted nicely & meatballs had a good texture (contrary to Miguel's comments about them). I won't describe my specific order, but some requested toppings weren't included (& not discovered until I arrived home with my to-go order). Pizza sauce leaves a LOT to be desired. A little salt goes a long way, and this sauce needs it. Idk why they don't season it adequately (I can make up a ton of stories why they don't, but that's not my job). So, bc the sauce is bland, and I didn't receive the minimal toppings requested, the food gets 4 stars and service 5 (bc they're friendly). So, 4.5 stars, overall. Would I get a meatball sub again? Probably not... I can only hope the pizza would be better, or that they actually listen to feedback, and will consider seasoning their pizza sauce accordingly. No photos bc it was over 2 hrs into my hunger pangs and I didn't even think about it. Price is reasonable for what u get.
Natalie — Google review
I'll start with the pros, I'll say that the atmosphere and staff were great and pleasant. The woman that took my order and checked me out was lovely, well informed on the menu and had good recommendations. Cons: Honestly everything tasted terrible, maybe it was an off day. I ordered two pizzas and a meatball sub. The meat that was used for the meatball sub had a very weird consistency and texture, it didn't feel or taste fresh. The sauce used also didn't help. The pizza didn't taste very premium either, I'd compare it to a little Caesars pizza. I was very disappointed to say the least. Unfortunately will not be going back
Manuel A — Google review
OUSTANDING hidden gem of a pizza & subs place; Rick will fix you up w/ a delicious toasted sub or yummy pizza; Mentioned that we wanted to try the pizza (had subs) on our next visit - and Rick surprised us w/ a complimentary piece of pizza to try - which was perfectly delicious. Price was ridiculously low - so I kicked in a healthy jar tip. Go here!

🍕 Best Pizza in Cocoa 🍕 Thin crust, cheesy, and bursting with flavor, Odyssey is the best bite of pizza in Cocoa. I’ve had both their pepperoni and cheese flavors, and recommend them. There’s a lot of nuance in each slice, giving the overall flavor profile a unique, in-house recipe taste and texture. They make yummy salads as well!

Friendly staff is there to help you order one of the best pizzas in town. Toppings are generous and pizza has a nice hard crust in the bottom. Odyssey is a bit of a hike in the wall place, but the food is really good.

Restaurant
Nestled in a growing area, Jabbers Hometown Grill is a delightful find that offers a diverse menu and delicious food. Diners can enjoy hearty dishes like beef tips, chicken fried chicken, and flavorful sides such as seasoned curly fries and mashed potatoes. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, complemented by friendly service that makes every visit enjoyable. While some items like the chicken quesadilla may lack seasoning, others shine brightly—like the hamburger steak with its rich flavor.
This little hometown bar and grill is such a gem! The service is always friendly and attentive, and the food never disappoints. We usually skip the bun and get our burger patties topped with fried eggs and cheese—they cook them perfectly every single time. The menu has plenty of options, and everything feels fresh and made with care. The only downside is the temperature inside—it can feel a bit like an igloo, so bring a light sweater just in case. Other than that, it’s one of our go-to spots for a great meal and great service in a casual, welcoming atmosphere.
Jennifer C — Google review
The establishment offers a pleasant atmosphere. Service was consistently excellent, characterized by friendliness and attentiveness. The hamburger steak with mashed potatoes was exceptionally flavorful and delicious. The chicken quesadilla, however, was unremarkable, lacking sufficient seasoning. The loaded tater tots and onion petals were also sampled; the onion petals paired well with the provided sauces, while the tater tots were satisfactory. My son's mac and cheese with chicken tenders received a neutral assessment; he noted a lack of inherent flavor, though the addition of ranch dressing improved the dish.

In the middle of nowhere, but the area seems to be growing. Menu offered a good variety, and the food was good. Had beef tips, chicken fried chicken, seasoned curly fries, mashed potatoes, and Cesar salad; all were good. The cooking kind of reminded me of my own, and I am good cook, so that is a compliment. Maybe I am a better cook than I give myself credit for. Anyway, wife and I tried a couple mixed drinks, which were dangerously good. Waitress was friendly and prompt. Cakes were brought in fresh that morning. I am not a huge fan of key lime pie, but their key lime cake was quite tasty. Locally owned business that honors military veterans and first responders. My wife and I do not live in the area, but next time we visit our friends who do, we would be willing to go back and try something else. Music was just a little loud, but there were not that many people there at the time, so it is probably not as noticeable when the place is full. Would recommend.

Off-the-beaten-path bar and grill (but only ~5 min N of the Beachline or W of US1) with a full bar and a not-your-average-bar-food menu. Indoor (and cacophonous) bar, table, and booth seating, as well as a nice screened-in back porch seating when the weather is nice (so Nov to May if you are lucky). Excellent staff (shout-out to Crystal and Lauren), something going on most nights (Wed Trivia Night is fun, but plan on being there a while if you play every round), and very family-friendly (so expect lots of kiddos).
Gainesvillain — Google review
Very disgusting poorly executed food. So for $70 I got the Buffalo Chicken dip, the chips were overcooked and the dipped smelled like dirty laundry and was so salty it was inedible. The Caesar salad was yellow, soggy and the butt of the romain lettuce was served inside my salad as well. The Alfredo was so watery and flavorless. The shepherds pie was an overcooked hamburger steak chopped up with old tasting mashed potatoes and frozen vegetables which a majority of them were crunchy and undercooked. The chicken nuggets were so overcooked my daughter took one look and said yuck! I tried them and she was right. The extra star is for the 2 yummy pieces of cake the highlight of the meal. I did not include pictures all the meals we ordered because by the time I decided to leave a review, the food was in the garbage. What waste of money and what a shame.

Came in for lunch bartender greeted me and asked me “what will I be having?” I told her then another couple walks-in she goes up to them greets and makes the choice to willingly disregard a customers request and starts a new task? Diner
Breakfast restaurant
Generous portions of traditional American cuisine are served throughout the day in a relaxed environment at Country Cookin Diner - Cocoa. The food is excellent, with omelettes that are packed with ingredients and hash browns made from freshly sliced potatoes. It would have been even better if onions were available to accompany them. The diner itself is small but offers great food and service, although the restroom could use some attention. Due to limited space, highchairs are kept there, which is not ideal.
I recently visited Great Country Dinner after returning from a cruise from Port Canaveral, and it was a wonderful experience! The breakfast was absolutely fantastic, offering a wide variety of delicious options. The facility is new and very clean, which added to the pleasant atmosphere. The hostesses were welcoming and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. One of the best parts is that it's only a 5 to 10-minute drive from the port, making it super convenient for cruise passengers. The only minor downside was that it was a bit cold inside, but overall, it was a great way to start our day. Highly recommend this place!

Delicious breakfast menu! Everything was scrumptious! It reminded me of a local modern Cracker Barrel. Very cozy and farm house decorated with a modern flare, I love it! The only thing I was not a fan of was when the bill came and the lady was holding the card machine and watched as I was leaving the tip over my shoulder. The tip was already suggested 21%, 23% or 27%. I was shocked, in my opinion that is too high. Usually it's 18%, 20%, 22% I don't think the suggested tip should be so high. I didn't like that the restaurant forces you to tip so high. Don't get me wrong, I tip where it's deserved and if my waiter or waitress is outstanding the tip I leave will reflect their performance. I don't like to be forced on a certain percentage of suggested tip. Other than that we enjoyed our breakfast here just wanted to mention about the suggested tip for the next person to be aware. Also it's my hopes that the restaurant may review the suggested tip screen and adjust it. Who knows maybe more customers will continue going back.

For day 4, if you don’t mind the extra trek, today covers more off the beaten path places like Fay Lake Wilderness Park. Not quite as popular as The Historic Cocoa Village Playhouse (CVP), but still highly rated among many travelers. Accounting for getting around and average time spent, today’s activities could take about 5 hours.

Beautiful park. Fun playground. Right on the river with pavilions and restrooms.

This place was great! We came early and was able to get a gazebo type picnic area. This place was awesome because you have two tables, a grill, and running water. Besides that, it is right on the Indian river so you can fish as well. There are benches placed right at the water so you can just enjoy the view. There is a boat ramp close by if you want to throw a line in from there too.

This park is amazing!! Fun for the kids for a few minutes to a full day!! You can sit and watch the water, have a picnic or play music!!! Great for all ages

Decent but well used county park in Port St. John. Nice open spaces, a playground, restrooms, and plenty of shelters for birthdays and celebrations. It’s right on the Indian River as well. Although the rocks on the shoreline may not be conducive to kayak or paddleboard entry, you will find plenty of places to fish from. It is a high traffic park and does have some of the unsheltered population there at times. Unfortunately this sometimes means there will be be refuse and discarded items strewn about.
Andrew — Google review
It smelled like shrimp, but the wind and the salty air just helped me ground myself. The bench next to the Indian river was super nice. I watched the day turn into night. I want to go fishing after work here. One day! update! Fishy smell gone after Ian. Looks and smells amazing!

This is one of my happy places. There is always some wildlife to enjoy and a lovely little playground for the littles. Easy access and plenty of parking. It's also a great place to watch the launches!

Absolutely beautiful park! There's 2 playgrounds, a dog park, walking paths and pavilions. Wild life is always out when I walk the park.

This is a great park with 2 dog parks for small and large dogs, 2 playgrounds, several picnic pavilions, a small boat ramp suitable for a kayak or other small boat, several fishing piers, and a paved walking trail, about 1/2 mile round trip. Very well maintained.
Lisa D — Google review
Outstanding place to walk…run….but definitely not swim! We visited from the UK, I’m so glad I stumbled across this place whilst running. Superb sunsets and great wildlife to spot! Highly recommended.
Guy L — Google review
Beautiful, quiet park by the lake. Pavillion has 4 trash cans, 1 grill, and 11 large picnic tables. There are 3 docks to walk out on and fish or gaze at the water.
Ashlee H — Google review
Beautiful, nature park. There is a playground on both sides of the park. Nice walking trail by the lake and a couple of docs to look at the turtles. There is a boat ramp, but there are alligators. Nice open field next to one of the playgrounds perfect for playing ball. We always see a turtle when we go.
Katy — Google review
Great park, well maintained and quite. It has two playgrounds, pavilions, dog park and more. It next to a good sized lake. Watch out for people breaking into cars, and teenagers doing stupid things.

Great dog park, even some jeep trails and walking trails around 😀
Justin T — Google review
Big pavilion, electric and water, right there. Restrooms close by. Nice playground for the children. Even one year old went down slide. We had a large group of 35 for a get together. Things were clean and we'll maintained. The dog park is walking distance away, didn't take the dog this time but checked the dog park out. Really nice dog park, many people were there enjoying it. We were there on a Saturday.

American restaurant
Tin Whiskey Southern Kitchen & Still is a recent addition to Merritt Island's food scene, offering a diverse menu. The restaurant has contributed to the town's evolving nightlife, providing an option for those seeking late-night dining and drinks. With its arrival, the town now boasts several options for enjoying local brews and flavorful dishes.
This place came highly recommended by a local friend and it did not disappoint. The grill cheese sandwich is what we picked. If you like pimento cheese id recommend the jalapeno popper grilled pimento cheese and the pulled pork pimento cheese. Both were excellent. Bread was perfect toasted and the cheese homemade goodness. We had fries and fried okra for sides. Both were really good. I’m pretty picky with fried okra but this was very well done. Service was good and the atmosphere was nice. You have good music but still not too loud for conversation.
Glenn C — Google review
Went two weeks in a row and it’s an Interesting concept. Seems normal when you sit outside. Better service out there. Sit inside and the restaurant has an identity crisis. Service not as good. The overflow bar is used as a server bag collection area. First meal of Cajun Mac was very good and huge. Meatloaf was just okay. Second meal of flatbread and grilled cheese was decent. We think one of these made us both sick as we spit meals. Also, Don’t drink the water. It’s so gross.
Michael F — Google review
It all started with our server, Jayson…bright, funny, and totally on point. He knew the menu inside and out and gave great recommendations that absolutely hit the mark. Attentive without hovering, just the right vibe. The atmosphere is awesome, with different little spots to mingle and relax. Clean and cute bathrooms (yes, that matters!), and a bar top overlooking the outdoors that’s perfect for sipping and people-watching. And the food? Love love love. Everything was bursting with flavor and came in generous portions. I had the Cobia and it was perfection, fresh, perfectly cooked, and beautifully plated. Already planning our next visit. This place is a win all around!
Traci T — Google review
I gave this place a couple of tries and definitely a fail. So every time the food has been mediocre at best but service and atmosphere is great. When the waitress came to check on our order I mentioned they burned the waffles, all I got was an “OK”, by the way it’s the saddest chicken and waffles I have ever seen. By this time I didn’t even want to mention they forgot the cheese on the other dish. I had to find my own to go cups along with the waitress to pay my bill. This place might be only ok for the patio atmosphere. Also the tap water tastes like swamp.
Clementine B — Google review
Not your mom's BLT, tried it with the fried green tomato! Mind blown ! Incredible taste... they used "all the flavors" on this one. Loved it. Service was excellent, food came out fast and hot. If back in this area (from NY) I would certainly come back. Thanks Jayson, you were excellent and attentive.
DAN H — Google review
The place is massive and clean . The vibe is good . The Mac & cheese is the best . It’s just that there’s few server to attend customers, so it took awhile for orders but still , the stuff are nice and attentive .
K&L M — Google review
Hmmm. So I ordered the meat loaf meal, it came with mashed potatoes & jalapeño grits. The mashed potatoes had no salt or flavor at all, the grits were as if they just put some jalapeño juice in it but also was very flavorless. The meat loaf itself was full of flavor and delicious, although I wished it came with the original type of saucing (ketchup barbecue brown sugar) and it came with gravy … I mixed it all together and added salt & sauces deeming it worthy of eating the whole thing … but maybe it was just a bad choice on my part. My bro got the Mac n cheese bacon. He said it was fantastic, I don’t eat pork so I didn’t try it. But anywho, I don’t think I’m going back. I should’ve stuck to my OG choice of steak at a new restaurant, but vibes and servers were fantastic.

Every few months I try to give them another chance. This time I think I might be done. When I pulled In at 6:45 almost didnt go in because the closed sign was still up. Had another patron not walked in I would not have known they were open. The door states they open at 5:30. It was clear they had just opened. They were out of most of their items. Both bagels ordered were wrong and the iced coffee is 90%cream. Very dissatisfied.
Mikki C — Google review
Delicious bagels with a variety of options, including sandwiches for breakfast or lunch, omelettes, and of course, bagels! Gluten free bread is available too. We didn’t try the coffee but they have that too. Convenient location with plenty of seating inside and friendly service.
Chris S — Google review
There are never bagels available. 930 in the morning, and they don't even have plain bagels. Then, the lady who rings up as sandwiches and deletes items versus plain bagels and adding items. She's doing the most expensive way for the customers, which is unacceptable!!! Pay attention to your receipts!!! IF and it's a big if... that they actually have what you want, it is good.
Steven C — Google review
Haven't even gotten our food yet and already not happy. Out of cold brew at 8am. Just heard her tell another guy they are out if croissants. Again-it's 8am. This is a breakfast place. This is the second location I've been to that didn't have the cold brew they very clearly advertise that they sell. Cashier was on the short and snippy side. I like to be gracious, everyone has an off day. But we've just moved here and have been twice to two different locations and we've decided that we've done our dilligence-it's probably worth driving to Einsteins if we really want a bagel. Such a shame, we want to support local-but local has to give something worth supporting 🤷‍♀️ Take a look at all their newest reviews. That should speak volumes. Photo of my bagel with what I guess was supposed to be blended cream cheese but was actually chunks of cream cheese in some kind of syrup mixture
Stella M — Google review
I was a bit disappointed in the food at Bagel 13. While I was expecting something that tasted like a real bagel bakery, I got something that tasted like Panera. I had the bacon egg and cheese on an everything bagel. The bagel itself was WAY over coated in seasoning to the point I had to scrape quite a bit off. The egg and bacon both were very rubbery and tasted like they might have been pre-prepared. The restaurant itself is very nice and service was good as well. I just don’t think I would return for mediocre bagels.
Reed B — Google review
Wow! This place was so good. Ordered a fresh breakfast sandwich on a bagel and it was so delicious. Coming from the New York area, I cannot believe I would wanna travel all the way back here for another deliciously made bagel! The place was cute and clean, and the staff pleasant. Masks were also being worn by staff and customers! Great Place to grab a bite to eat, but don't forget to order one of their fresh juices too!

Kay's Real Pit Bar-B-Q is a beloved local gem that exudes a warm, down-home vibe, making it the perfect spot for BBQ lovers. With an inviting atmosphere and friendly staff, including a standout named Katie who provides excellent service, guests can expect cleanliness throughout the establishment. The menu features mouthwatering BBQ meats and hearty country-style sides that keep patrons coming back for more.
I went there on a whim, and because someone told me they were good. I went and the girl who took my to go order was very nice, friendly and personable. I think her name was Katie. She is the one in the picture. The place was very clean. Even the bathroom. The food was great, even though I was a little disappointed that I could only get the pulled pork dinner instead of a tub of it. They were also out of Brunswick Stew, which is a must for BBQ. Other than those 2 little things, it was great. I will recommend it to everyone.

I absolutely love this place and have been going here for years. I live right around the corner and this is the best place to get breakfast in Cocoa. Small town diner vibes and they never mess your breakfast up. All the girls on staff here are lovely ladies who help you out at a moments notice. I love this place.

Wanted a quick sandwich and went for the French dip. The beef was excellent, but there wasn't that much meat on it for the money. The seasoned fries were very good too.

Great food, only three ribs with 1/2 pound lunch, but came with two sides. They were out of baby back ribs
Chad R — Google review
I’ve now been to Kay’s Barbecue twice recently, and both times I’ve run into the same frustrating issue: they close well before their posted hours. Their own sign and countertop hours say they’re open until 4:00 on Saturdays, but today we showed up at 2:50 an entire hour before closing time to grab food to go, and were told flatly, “We’re closing today at 3:00.” My friend even pointed out their hours on the counter, and the waitress just shrugged and said, “Well, today at least we’re closing at 3:00.” No offer to let us order quickly for takeout, nothing. Most restaurants will at least allow you to place an order 30–45 minutes before closing, but here they just seem to change the hours as they please. This isn’t just inconvenient it’s unprofessional and misleading. If the posted hours don’t mean anything, why bother having them at all? I honestly wonder if the owner knows that employees are deciding to close whenever they feel like it. Customers plan their visits based on the hours you advertise, and being turned away an hour before closing, twice now, is unacceptable. Until this place starts respecting its own hours, I can’t recommend it.
Drea — Google review
Excellent lunch experience. Friendly staff and good food. Sauce bottles (presumably homemade “house” sauce) are on each table. I found these sauces to be quite tasty complements to the meats. Ribs were a bit tough and brisket a bit too fatty, but great taste nonetheless. Will return again.

Pizza delivery
Domino's Pizza is a popular fast-food chain known for its extensive selection of pizzas and diverse menu options. With both delivery and carryout services available, customers can enjoy affordable and convenient meals. Recently, a loyal customer requested extra tomato sauce on their pizza, highlighting the flexibility in customizing orders. This customer frequently patronizes Domino's, ordering multiple times a month.
I've always had an excellent experience with this location. The food is hot, delicious and reasonably priced. The people are friendly and they always get here much faster than they say they will. Definitely a repeat customer.

Ordered an Alfredo bread bowl with shredded cheese. I really don't think there was any sauce added to my bowl. It was soooo dry and inedible. We also paid for extra cheese on the pizza and the pizza was missing cheese on spots and definitely didn't seem like extra cheese. The parts with no cheese were super hard and not edible.
Brandi G — Google review
Im writing this review approximately 5 hours later on The jalapeño bacon stuffed cheesy bread which was by far the greatest amalgamation of ingredients known to mankind however. The shortsighted hunger thoughts outweighed my body's direct warnings for the consumption of anything spicy. This delectable loaf of magic possesses the freshest jalapeños my stomach cant handle. Now the mistakes in the heat of passion as I dipped bite after bite of this irresistible log of cheese and bread into the garlic sauce weren't enough foreshadowing for the terror my lower intestine was soon to know. As it should be made aware my body immediately rejects.. at speed... Anything spicy... the hell my poor sphincter is going to endure due to the pure bliss of eating this incredible dish. Is suffering unimaginable. The fact being. I would re order this again due to the sheer perfection that came in that cardboard box. 10/10 would recommend.

I had an amazing experience at my local Domino's! The ordering process was super easy, whether online or through the app, and the staff was incredibly friendly and efficient. My pizza was made exactly to my specifications, with fresh ingredients and a perfectly crispy crust. It arrived hot and on time, with the delivery driver being polite and professional. The store itself is always clean, and the team clearly takes pride in what they do. I also love the variety of options, from classic pizzas to their delicious sides and desserts. This Domino's consistently exceeds my expectations, and I’ll definitely be back for more! Highly recommend!

Dominoes stole my pizza. Ordered a pizza via DoorDash and was told dominoes was delivering the pizza themselves. All of the sudden they told me it was delivered and nothing ever showed up. I called and they said they would redeliver. Here’s hoping it shows up.

Worst pie I have had in PSJ in a long time. Total rip-off, and quite rude about it also. Save yourself some money, AND trouble. There are MUCH better pizzas in Port Saint John. My 6.2 oz. "large pizza" with "extra cheese." Picked up the box in store, and I thought it was empty, so I opened it, and inquired of an employee if this was a joke, to which they replied, "that's how we do extra cheese here." My Grand Dad always told me, "boy, the second time, it's not a lesson." Well there won't be another time here. They DO NOT get the coveted "Bush Wookie Seal of Approval."
