Service and atmosphere are awesome. Food is not so much. I had the Bloody Mary, that was awesome. I had the country breakfast sandwich that was absolutely ruined by that cheap / Kraft type cheese. It’s a shame cuz the bar tender was great and the rest of sandwich was high quality and tasty. Also it was Friday morning and there was still a wait for a table. The lady at the front desk did not let us know that we could sit at the bar we found out ourselves! If the owner is reading this PLEASE use better cheese!

Wait was only about 20 to be seated. We ordered the fresh pork rinds for an appetizer and the were still hot and popping when they brought them out! Delicious! The place is very coolly decorated with a mish mash of rural farm versus modern settings. My wife ordered the Hot brown and thought it to be a might bit salty and I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich with homemade potato chips which was really good. They have a county store but we didn’t get a chance to go in before they closed. The only real turn off was the men’s restroom was very small and unpleasant for a bar and restaurant of this size with only 1 stool and 2 urinals (which were both out of order). Waitresses were very attentive and friendly!

A wonderful bar that the wife and I happened upon while visiting Bardstown. The breakfast I had, the "Hot Brown" is one of the best breakfast dishes I've had in awhile. The little store they have there is cute and has lots of little trinkets and fun treats. I loved the environment of this place and it's a long bar that seems to stretch quite a bit from the front restaurant to the back. I will say that the hostess that greeted and sat us seemed to be having a bad day that may have translated into being a little less than welcoming. Not a detriment to the overall enjoyment of the food and drinks though.

Wow… what a find!! This place was simply great.. stopped in with our pup for some lunch and were very impressed with the atmosphere, food and great service. Our servers were Abbey and Amanda, who did an amazing job. They have a great selection of bourbon for you sampling pleasure, and the food was delicious.. we had the bourbon burger and the grilled chicken sandwich.. both came with home made kettle chips and were very tasty. Abbey even brought out a nice piece of bacon and water for Memphis Belle who enjoyed the attention and treats very much. We had lunch on the front patio, which has ample seating and umbrellas if needed. Parking in the back with ADA accessibility. The service was excellent and we really enjoyed the staff… do yourself a favor.. and get yourself there for a really great experience.

Mammy’s Kitchen and Bar is hands down the best breakfast we’ve had in the area. It was so good that we went back again the very next morning—something we rarely do on trips! Let me start with their Bloody Mary… absolutely AMAZING. Truly one of the best I’ve ever had. Between our two visits, we tried the Hangover Skillet, Biscuits & Gravy, the giant Cinnamon Roll, and the Fried Chicken Benedict—every single dish was delicious. The food came out fresh, hot, and full of flavor. The atmosphere has a warm Southern charm, and the servers were friendly and welcoming both times we visited. If you’re anywhere near the area, don’t miss this place. It’s easily a must-stop breakfast spot!

What an amazing breakfast place! We ordered the fries chicken eggs Benedict with extra crispy hash browns and we were positively blown away. Katie, our waitress, was wonderful and nailed the order. I’ve never had such perfectly cooked hash browns and the hollandaise was fresh and had that perfect lemon hit. Highly recommend!

My friends and I came here for lunch after the heaven hill distillery tour. It was a recommendation from an employee there and I must say it was a great one. I ordered the Chicken fried chicken with mashed potatoes and mac and cheese. Each of them were delicious. The chicken was fried and seasoned very well and went extremely well with the conrbread pancake. The mashed potatoes and gravy were real good and the mac and cheese was good. The only thing about the mac and cheese is that the noodles were bland. I really like that the menu was on a newspaper. You dont see that everyday. My friend ordered the bourbon grilled chicken and he seemed to really enjoy it. My other friends got burgers and they enjoyed that as well. A few of the guys got the bourbon bloody mary... sad to say it was not a hit. No one liked it. It was quickly replaced with old fashions and I had the Kentucky bourbon barrel stout. I liked it. The food here is definitely worth stopping in for. It will definitely hit the southern food spot if you are looking for one. Our hostess was very nice as well.

While in town, couldn't pass up stopping by and getting a bowl of the Tavern's famous Burgoo. Delicious! And a very nice cold, fresh side salad. Good service. Good food. Nice gifts like bourbon chocolates and hats, candles etc to choose from in the lobby. They say that Jesse James stayed here and George Washington and more, as it was the first stage stop west of the Allegheny mtns. A lot of history in this building which was restored after it caught fire.

Service and Location are great. The wife and I were staying in town for a bourbon trail week. We came in were seated right away the staff was awesome. The food on the other hand was not. I had the mango pork chop it was OK very heavy on the pepper very heavy my mashed potatoes and gravy were cold and the potatoes tasted old. My wife ordered the shrimp and grits shrimp were fine but the grits were not good super dry and clumpy.... would we come back Nope.... there are better places just a few 100 feet away to eat....

Love the history of Talbotts, along with Jesse James backstory (He stayed here and had a shoot-out upstairs). The food was good (not great, but very good) My wife had the fish, which was a little dry and I had the pot roast which was nice, but nothing special, the room was great, so much history, and the Service super nice! I am not a fan when you have to pay extra for bread, but I guess it is becoming more normal. I still think this is a must for anyone visiting the area, and I would repeat. Do ask where you want to be seated, the first room was dingy, cold, and loud. We asked to be seated in the corner room, which was SO MUCH NICER as you can see in the pictures.

We stopped here for lunch on our way to Makers Mark for a bourbon tour. Service was quick, the dining room was comfortable, a bit loud as others have noted, but added to the atmosphere. The highlight though was the food! My husband had the country fried steak and it was the thickest piece of country fried steak I’ve ever seen, and I had the hot brown. I’ve always been hesitant to order it in restaurant, but I saw one on a plate as we were led to our table and decided to give it a try, and boy am I glad I did! They also had a specialty drink menu. Since it was fall, I went for the apple cider mule, and it was very yummy! I look forward to going back again and trying some other items on the menu.

We came for lunch. Wonderful server, Danielle. Tried some new foods we have heard about like the scotch egg. Crunchy and delicious with the mustard. Food was fresh and hot when served. The selection of seasonal food and drinks gave plenty to select from. The atmosphere is amazing with the heritage filled rooms.

Stayed recently on a short trip to visit some distilleries in the area. The location was fantastic and the room was very comfortable. The price of the room included breakfast, which was decent. Sadly we got cold food on our second day (even after it was remade it was still cold). We had some other issues with the room during our stay (housekeeping related) which we brought to the attention of the desk staff twice. Both times we were assured that they would discuss with their manager and someone would reach out to us. No one ever did. Over all the property is very nice and likely we would stay again. It was just disappointing that no one seemed to truly take ownership for our experience there.

Stopped in for dinner to celebrate my wife's birthday. She ordered the Bourbon walnut chicken which she thought was wonderful. I ordered shrimp and cheesy grits. The shrimp was pretty good, but I can't say the same for the grits. They were quite dry and cheese was noticeably missing as evidenced in the attached photo. The restaurant was also very noisy.

Very small. We had a party of six and there's only one table that would accommodate that. I got the chicken sandwich and it was excellent. The fries were nice and crispy just the way we ordered. Onion rings were excellent.

Stopped in at Bardstown Burger while passing through town. It’s a casual, small-town spot with a friendly vibe and simple setup — order at the counter, grab a seat, and they’ll bring your food out. Just note that street parking is the only option, and indoor seating is limited, so it can fill up quickly during lunch hours. I tried the Outlaw Burger (with BBQ sauce, bacon, cheddar, and onion rings) and a side of crinkle-cut fries. The burger was fine, but pretty average overall. It wasn’t crispy like a smash burger or thick and juicy like a gourmet-style burger — more of a greasy, flat-top grilled patty on a basic bun that wasn’t toasted or grilled. The flavors were decent, just nothing that stood out. Fries were standard crinkle-cut, hot but plain. For the price, it’s an okay spot if you’re local or nearby, but not something I’d drive out of my way for. A perfectly decent burger joint, just not one that hits that “wow” level.

Very simple but delicious lunch of grilled cheese and onion rings I shared with my guy. Lovely location, ate at a picnic table in the open air. Server brought our food and it was a good value. Streamlined menu.

Along for the ride, and saw this establishment while traveling to Lincoln's Birth Place. To the Owner, Thank you for your Staff's professionalism and quality of service. The Outlaw Burger was my choice and I was not disappointed. I would recommend to family and friends.

Keeping it simple and tasty with a small but well though menu. The flavors were great and the prices too. I met an elder gentleman and shared a booth. It was nice to hear his about his life over the great burger!

Pretty certain they have the best Burgers in Bardstown. Plus, made to order food that's delicious. Always smiling and friendly employees. And never waited longer than 15 mins for food.

The food here is good. We ordered the Bardstown burger and Outlaw burger, one with fries and one with onion rings. They did bring both with fries and I had to ask for them to correct my order. The place is small inside but there is a good bit of seating.

This resturant is located in the lower level of the city county building in Bardstown. Very unique experience walking into what seems like a bourbon cellar. The food was matched to the atmosphere. The special ribs with bourbon bbq sauce melted in your mouth and had very little fat. The double baked potato was massive and filled to the brim with bacon ,cheese and sour cream. Topped off with fine wine and a complementary chocolate brownie for dessert to celebrate our anniversary. They even put some roses in our table just fir us! Highly recommend visiting this place if you are in Bardstown, KY. But make a reservation because they fill up fast.

An absolutely outstanding experience! The Rickhouse exceeded every expectation. The food was phenomenal — perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. You can tell the kitchen takes real pride in what they serve. The atmosphere was warm, inviting, and had that perfect Kentucky charm that makes you want to linger a little longer. A huge shoutout to Aly, our server, who was truly second to none. She was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable, making our dining experience even more enjoyable. It’s rare to find service this genuine and professional at the same time. If you’re anywhere near Bardstown, make The Rickhouse a priority — it’s a must-visit!

Service was a bit slow. Definitely make reservations for this place. The food was tasty. However in my opinion way over priced. The ambiance was great for the type of weekend that my friends and I were doing which was a bourbon filled weekend.

Visited The Rickhouse recently and had a mixed experience. The service was a highlight—staff were friendly, attentive, and made the visit enjoyable. However, the food was disappointing, lacking flavor and creativity, which brought the overall experience down. On the bright side, their bourbon flights were solid, offering a wide variety of choices that any lover would appreciate. If you're here for the drinks, you’ll likely have a good time, but don’t expect much from the menu.

The Rickhouse was a group favorite this weekend!!! Our waitress took wonderful care of us. We had a phenomenal table by the windows. The old fashioned were marvelous! The spinach artichoke dip and warm bruschetta was amazing!! We tried a wide variety of entrees; filet, ribeye, blueberry salmon, mushroom ravioli and steak pasta. The steaks were all seasoned and cooked to perfection. The ravioli and great cream sauce was a favorite. We left full and headed downtown to taste our way around Bardstown. Definitely agree with assessments that this is the best fine dining in Bardstown!!

This place is real quality. Every individual ingredient in the pasta had its own great unique flavor, even the small things like the peppers. The service was also the great. The chef came to check on us. Our server was Christy.

We were not impressed with this restaurant. Service was not good, server was not friendly and the food was very slow in coming out. We ordered 2 appetizers and received 3. When we mentioned this to the waitress she apologized and but credited only 1/2 of 1 of the appetizers. (Even though we didn’t eat it) The pork chop was good but the rest of the was not great and it was not hot when it came out. In my opinion it is an overpriced venue for what they have to offer in food and service!

It was a small restaurant but the atmosphere was pretty cool. They have a traditional restaurant set up with a bar in the back. The food proportions are legit so bring your appetite. We had several pasta dishes and the pizza was amazing (Note: If you're ordering a pizza for yourself, make sure you get the personal size). I highly recommend it. Great food

Food was ok. Starters are good. Thin crust pizza needed more flavor. I do like the atmosphere, but will not visit again. I want to visit other locations in this area.

Pizza was amazing! The stars are for that alone. Wine was good but on the sweeter side (I did a wine sample and all 4 were sweet). Service was lacking though. The server had to be reminded multiple times to bring us standard items such as napkins, forks, and to go boxes. Note we were there on a Sunday at 3 pm and the place was very empty so no excuse of being busy. She also knew nothing of any of the wines so we had to guess what to try- this issue could have been avoided had the wine menu described the wines but there's not one single description of any wine. Weird for a place that calls themselves a winery....

We had a very nice experience and the staff was very friendly. The buffet was very tasty and filling. They were even able to have a gluten free pizza that my wife enjoyed better then other places we have eaten. We would recommend this place for a nice date night place or even a family dinner. We will be going back again to enjoy another nice dinner and nice atmosphere. Thank you to Stacey and all the staff for a wonderful experience today.

Amazing staff that excels above any other establishment by far, that I have ever stumbled across! Amongst the days of wearing facial coverings that is hard on people who work in the public eye, the hot kitchens of restaurants and behind the scenes, the short staffing in the workforce, these ladies and gentleman really know how to go above and beyond to make an experience an experience, rather than just another day of eating out. Knowledgeable of menu items and the bar spirits, recommended an appetizer that was the best meatballs and cheesy garlic bread imaginable, and the wine was one of a kind! Made very different than any other wine process! I say it’s worth a trip if your local or near local or are just happening to be visiting the bourbon trail. Don’t hesitate because you will truly miss a hidden small town gem!

We had a pizza, baked spaghetti and a lasagna. Pizza was phenomenal and we also liked the baked spaghetti a lot. Our server, Amanda was really helpful. I would defiantly recommend this place and try the pizza!

Excellent service, gorgeous chandelier, and the pizza is SO GOOD! I prefer dryer wines, and the Cab was the perfect pairing for the pie. Highly recommend!

This would be a great place but prices are too high for what you get. I was here on a quiet night. The server was friendly and it was a casual service atmosphere. The $23 pasta entree I ordered was tasty but a light portion. Similarly the pizzas looked good but they were $20 and up for a smallish personal sized pie. This strategy doesn't make sense to me because I expect pasta and pizza dough are low cost inputs for the business. This is a pizza joint/bar hoping that their above average food will bring their value up to that of a mid tier restaurant and for me it doesn't get there. I would be happy to eat here again if and only if someone else is paying.

Absolutely fantastic! Sorry that in the food pics they are partially eaten. I couldn't wait to dig in! All the staff are super sweet and the pizza crust for their pizzas are the absolute perfect crusts. Not too thick, not too thin. Just incredible! It can get a little bit noisy in there, so if you're sensitive to crowd noise just be aware.

I’d only come here for the Margarita pizza. Yes, we dined here when it was the fall festival, but it wasn’t busy when we arrived. We were seated “outside“. We were mostly entertained by the bathrooms having major issues rather than the service and the food. The menu states an appetizer of breadsticks with marinara. We received tasteless sliced of bread. When I asked the server about this multiple times, she repeated that this was in fact what we were getting. Misrepresentation?? Bread slices is NOT bread sticks. The marinara was served cold. Not sure if this if this if usual here but not accustomed to it at any other establishment. The pizza was fine. Eating “outside“ provided us the opportunity to share our meal with several black flies wanting to share our meal with us. So, if you, gentle reader, have the choice to dine here, I would recommend eating inside. All in all, we won’t be coming back. At least we tried this place and now we know we won’t be coming back, sadly.

Great Location, and super nice staff and serice! We came on our last day craving a nice pizza, and it was very good! The place is busy, and we called ahead for a table, which saved us; highly recommend this! The table next to us had pasta, and the portions seemed huge. My wife and I were able to finish our pizza (surprised us), partially because it is a very thin crispy crust, which is very nice. You could tell locals ate here, everyone seemed to know each other, always a good sign.

My issue here wasn't the food, it was the service. And it was awful. The only one working was Bella. All the other servers were more concerned with staring at their phones and doing shots at the bar. Pizza was good, but one got messed up because waitress didn't write down the order. 2nd one brought out was burnt and small. Had to ask for our apps to be brought out bc they forgot them. Won't be back and would not recommend.

A wonderful surprise! After a distillery visit, we wandered downtown Bardstown. We decided to stop here because my wife wanted a glass of wine. (She’s not a bourbon drinker.) we weren’t going to eat because we had a very late lunch but the food coming out of the kitchen looked and smelled great. Decided to split the Penne Mediterranean. Fresh, hot and delicious. I decided to have a bourbon flight, which was reasonably priced. Turns out I like James E. Pepper barrel proof!

First time here, will be back. Pizza had a wonderful flavor. One in our party told us the only time he had had pizza with that flavor was in Italy, that it was a difference in the flour. Husband loved his pasta dish. The restaurant was swamped, but our server kept up. Atmosphere was warm and welcoming.

If you have been around for 80-plus years, you must be doing something right. Hadorn's Bakery is definitely doing something right. They have become a staple of downtown Bardstown. The signature donut is the yum-yum. The donuts are delicious but very sweet. If you like sugary pastries, then Hadorn's is the mecca. Stop by if you are in town, but if you're not early, they will probably be out. Enjoy, I know I always do.

I love Hadorn's bakery. They have the best donuts. There are lots to choose from. You can also order birthday cakes here. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Who doesn't love a good donut?

We were going to pass the place because of so many customers but it went fast. Went in for cookies and ended up with donuts. A better choice because the donuts were fantastic. The caramel glazed donut was the softest fluffiest tasty donut I've ever had. The other donuts were great but that caramel just hit right.

This place will always be the best when it comes to a morning sweet bite to eat. When me and the kids have time in the morning, we love stopping through. The staff are always so friendly and patient, and their donuts are out of this world.

Personally I love their lemon donuts and find that it is hard to find any competition for them. The filling is well distributed and intense, just the way I like my lemon donuts. Other donuts here are good too, of course. It's a well known secret that this is the best donut place in the area, so get there early because once the donuts run out they close.

Such a beautiful part of bourbon history. Bottling my own bottle of ECBP with exclusive juice was well worth it. Tasting guide was great. All the staff were friendly & professional. Gift shop had almost everything. Restaurant was very cool.

Sept. 3. Largest family owned whiskey company in America. Represented by Elijah Craig, Mckenna, Heaven Hill, Parker's, Old Fitz, JTS Brown, Evan Williams, Rittenhouse, Pikesville, Mellow Corn, Larceny, and Bernheim to name a few. The tour was ok. We were already toured out (5 other tour visits on the same trip). Very picturesque, and did we get to taste great stuff. The shop afterwards was nice. In your planning, know what you are getting into. Not all tours are the same. We wanted to fill an Elijah Craig or Heaven Hill bottle, but our tour did not offer it. So do some shopping before committing to one tour.

First of many stops on our guys trip. For a mega distillery they do a very good job educating you and getting into the barrel storage buildings. The only place I went that let you keep both tasting glass and the lanyard. The tour guide also really loves his job and it shows. The view from the 2nd floor cafe is phenomenal and the prices and quality of the food (looking at guest plates) - I didn’t have time to eat there but it looked really good.

Heaven Hill is a much bigger operation than I realized, but it made for a good stop on the bourbon trail. There’s a small free museum showcasing the history of the brands they produce, and the gift shop is quite nice. I did a tasting of their grain to glass whiskeys that was a good introduction to the Heaven Hill brand. I wish I had done a full tour, but maybe I can do that another time. Either way, this is definitely a can’t miss stop on the bourbon trail considering how many different brands they produce.

We were provided with a cool lanyard with a bourbon glass attached and paired with a wonderful tour guide named Lindsey. The tour involved two Rick houses. In each rick house we were given 2 tastings. Our guide was excellent - very knowledgeable - but the bourbon was not the best tasting.

Whiskey is of course amazing. But beware. If you come in the last hour before closing to the five brother bar, the staff will treat you like an absolute inconvenience. I had 15 minutes before last call and they acted like I was bothering them. 🫠 And then they start cleaning all around you and get even louder the closer to closing it gets to get you to leave. For such a pricey experience, I’d expect to have a normal interaction until closing time. I regret wasting valuable time on my trip out here. I guess shame on me for visiting a business during normal operating business hours 😅

Josh was our host on the Bottled in Bond walking tour, and his knowledge and humor made for great experience. Taste 4 different bottles. Keep the little glencairn after the tour. Overall about an hour total.

My dad and I were in Frankfort visiting distilleries and we came across Willett Distillery. We decided to make the quick 45 minute drive over to Bardstown. As we walked in we were promptly greeted and signed up for an available tour. Jacob and his trainee Jasmine led our tour. Jacob did an outstanding job leading the tour. We could feel that this was definitely a family business and not a corporate money trap. We really enjoyed how the tastings were provided throughout the tour instead of rushed in at the end. You could also personalize your tasting by choosing between 2-3 items at each taste. We even got to keep our tasting glass. After visiting over 15 distilleries and being on multiple tours, Willett was our favorite. I would recommend reserving your tour in advance to ensure you don’t miss out on this distillery!

We had so much fun on this tour! Mary was a great guide. Lunch was absolutely AMAZING! We were so excited when Mr. Even arrived for lunch on the patio. What a wonderful story and amazing tastes and bites. Highly recommend!

What an exceptional place in a place where it is so hard to stand out. They are so successful in not only the exceptional product they produce, but the tour was unique, with a small family-owned feel. Our tour guide Matt was incredibly friendly, with a deep knowledge and personal understanding of the process. We especially loved the tasting being throughout the tour, which led to a better appreciation of the product, rather than the 5 or 6 half ounce pours over fifteen minutes at the end of the tour. The property and buildings on the tour were beautiful and well maintained, and the area was so picturesque! Thank you Willett Distillery, you've found a customer for life!

If you ever have the opportunity to do the Estate Tour at Willett Distillery, don’t hesitate—it’s truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Getting the chance to fill a barrel yourself is something you’ll never forget, and the access you get throughout the tour is incredible. You’ll see and taste some wild and rare stuff you’d probably never get your hands on anywhere else. Nick and Mason, the creators of the tour, were absolutely amazing—super knowledgeable, passionate, and full of energy, which made the whole experience even better. Our group even got lucky and ran into Drew in the rickhouse, which was an unforgettable highlight. The lunch afterward was fantastic as always, and a perfect way to wrap up the day. A special shoutout to Luciano, the bartender, who was awesome and made the post-tour drinks a great time. All in all, the Willett Estate Tour is something every bourbon fan should experience at least once

Matt was a great guide and super knowledgeable about all things whiskey and Willett. Big fan of the "progressive tasting" method and even better that you get to keep the tasting glass. I was very surprised they only had one pot still that has created all this delicious bourbon. Cute kitty laying around the factory floor. Definitely make the journey!

This was our first stop on the trail and I couldn’t imagine a better start. The tour gets you so close to the production - you can literally touch and taste it! Shea was an awesome tour guide, the property is amazing, and the bourbon is, of course, second to none. My only complaint is we didn’t schedule enough time to truly enjoy the patio bar!

Really pretty grounds filled with so much history. The house tour was really interesting and neat to see all the furniture and hear the stories. We were rushed a bit upstairs but overall a nice tour.

My Wife and I visited the mansion for the Shadows on the Hill program for the third time this past weekend. As always the actors did a terrific job of providing a history of the property and the tragedies that have occurred there. We were also finally able to attend the program on 19th Century Funerary Customs. Our Guide Kit did a great job on this one as well and her depth of knowledge on the topic was very impressive.

Great priced and well kept golf course! You can see heaven hill distillery from holes on the front 9. Kentucky does it right!

Great historical tour at My old Kentucky Home. They have people who walk you through the first and second floor and explain the history of each item. It was informative and interesting. No photos or videos are allowed inside.

I'm a Kentuckian, born and raised. I was in Bardstown for another event in August and after 66 years, I figured I might as well visit My Old Ky Home. I was not disappointed! The visitors center is well kept and offers a video of Stephen Foster which is VERY INFORMATIVE. The staff at the center were very nice and hospitable. I was pleased to learn that the history of slaves on the 'once plantation' was well represented. The tour of the 'home' was exceptional. It was truly like stepping back into that time. The tour guides, Jose and Richard, were exceptional! They were very well versed in facts and were eager to answer questions that my sister and I had. They made our whole visit well worth it. Thanks go out to Jose and Richard for doing such a great job! I TOTALLY recommend the visit for young and old (however if you are older, I think you appreciate it more).

Wonderful place to visit to understand Kentucky history and the family that hosted their cousin Stephen Foster at their “Kentucky Home.” Wood work in this mansion is so beautiful.

Highly recommended. What a beautiful place! We took the tour of the house and were not disappointed! Reluctant at first, because the tour was 45 min. long, we were not one moment bored, but amazed of the amount of information that was presented in a very interesting and entertaining way. All staff were very passionate about their work and presentation, resulting in a wonderful experience for us.

Food is incredible! We sat at the bar and had an absolute blast, super friendly with great recommendations for both food and bourbon. Probably the best service I've received sitting at a bar, can't recommend enough. Order a few items and share with the table, everything is top tier. And get the cheesecake, it is divine!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The bar at Willett is a must-visit! The cocktail menu features innovative drinks that showcase their fantastic bourbons, and I loved the signature cocktail I tried. The small plates were equally impressive, especially the egg sandwich—hands down the best I’ve ever had! To top it off, the cheesecake was the most delicious I’ve ever tasted. The knowledgeable bartenders were passionate about their craft, enhancing the overall experience. The combination of delicious food, expertly crafted cocktails, and attentive service made for an unforgettable evening. I can’t wait to return!

We had heard a lot about the food at the Bar at Willett Distillery, and we really looked forward to it! Someone wrote: "... the episode for the best burger? Well this is the burger. It burger lived up to the hype." ... so couldn't wait! Well, it seems they change up the menu, and it wasn't on it. Bummer! But they had other nice small plates, so we settled on the cheese plate (crackers, pickled beets, grainy mustard, marmalade and salami). It was nice, but was a little skimpy on crackers and salami, although the onion marmalade was amazing. Also, the atmosphere was wonderful up in the bar. The room is great, and just small enough to be cozy, plus you can sit outside on the wrap around balconey. Lastly, the staff was so friendly! If you’re going to Willet distillery for a tour, you must treat yourself and dine at The Bar at Willet.

I made specific plans to be the first seating on a Saturday. As our waitress showed up she immeaditely asked if we wanted the burger, which was a definite yes. We also ordered brussel sprouts, carrots and drinks. Drinks and sides were really good. The burger... well if you ever watched "How I met your mother" and the episode for the best burger? Well this is the burger. It burger lived up to the hype and the staff were fantastic.

Another fantastic lunch at the Bar at Willet Distillery. This is the second year in a row we've stopped at this distillery and had lunch at the bar. The bar makes great cocktails and the food is delicious. My husband had an old-fashioned and I had a bees knees, which was perfect. We, of course, had to share the famous egg salad sandwich. The sandwich has its own Instagram page. It’s famous! We also shared the cheese plate, the oyster sliders and the beef tartare. The beef tartare was a generous portion and so fresh. It was served with crispy potato chips. The oyster sliders were unique and delicious. Plump fried oysters with cabbage and remoulade on Hawaiian rolls. And who doesn’t like a cheese plate? Accompanying the cheese was crackers, pickled beets, grainy mustard, marmalade and salami. They could’ve put on more salami as it wasn’t as generous as the cheese. If you’re going to Willet distillery for a tour and tasting, which I highly recommend, you must dine at The Bar at Willet as well.

Probably the best restaurant at any distillery in Kentucky. If you go on a Saturday as soon as they open, get the burger. They only make a small number per day. It’s worth the trip from Louisville or Lexington

I was on a road trip and someone somewhere recommended The Bar at Willett. I didn't have a reservation but was immediately seated at the bar (solo traveler around 2pm). Watching the bartenders make cocktails was the best show in town - the cocktails are works of art. My whiskey sour was perfection! And I have cocktail glass envy - it seems every glass they used was vintage and unique. The food menu was limited but more than adequate. Everything is fresh, prepared to perfection, and delicious. This was one of the best dining experiences of my 7 week road trip.

Atmosphere and food were wonderful service was also great. Chicken was a little overdone and it was a little to warm inside because they are still cooling with a window unit. We will diffantly return. They also have a room upstairs to reserve for large parties.

We had dinner in this historic restaurant. The staff was very friendly and the food came out hot and fresh. The fried chicken crispy and moist - not greasy. The turkey and ham were amazing and all the sides we're flavorful and tasty.

First pic is of a gluten free meal consisting of baked potatoes, mixed garden vegetables, grilled shrimp, baked cod, green beans, beets. The other pic is of my son's meal, not gluten free, fried half chicken, mashed potatoes, gluten free gravy, green beans. Corn bread was served before meal and yeast rolls at mealtime. Lots of yummy options for a celiac. No bread for me. Great hometown feel.

Wonderful variety of traditional southern comfort food serve dinner served in a very cozy space by an excellent staff - if I could rate the service separately, I'd give them a 10. I was impressed with the speed our entrees were prepared. I ate in this restaurant two years ago and it was a wonderful experience then and it still is.

The chicken was great and we had a nice dinner. The staff was friendly and welcoming.

When visiting Bardstown, this was a good choice for old fashioned Country Cooking. I was pleased with the taste and portion sizes overall. Prices reasonable for tourist areas

We had a Great experience and enjoyed ourselves aboard The Old Kentucky Dinner Train. The couple that shared a table with Us was exceptional!! Great food and We enjoyed each other's company as well as conversation. The Servers had Outstanding Hospitallity and did their jobs exceptionally well. Well done!!!

If you’re sleeping on this gem, stop. What a great time! Amazing service. The best bruschetta I’ve ever had. And the pot roast at lunch was fantastic. Fork tender is an understatement.

Fantastic experience! We had a party of five to celebrate an anniversary and we felt special. They put two of us to one table and three to the other across the isle. Food and service was excellent. We took the mystery train and it was entertaining. The views were nice as the leaves are starting to change.

An enjoyable lunch on "My Old Kentucky Dinner Train". Get there early- they are very busy. Go to website and purchase tickets, you pick them up when you arrive. You're instructed where to board according to train car. Station staff are very friendly and helpful. It appears that handicapped persons could use the train but some might have difficulty. When seated your salad is already on the table. Servers then go introduce themselves to each of their tables. There is a small center aisle with a table seating 4 on each side (cozy but it works). Each car also has a small bathroom. Servers are amazing, constantly moving & are attentive to your needs. They do a fantastic job! The food was very good. As you eat the train rolls gently for 20+ miles, stops, then returns in reverse. You travel out of town through residential & farmland wth distilleries. They have a sound system in each car but couldn't hear it for the passengers. Around a two hour excursion with plenty of time to enjoy your meal & companions. There is no smoking/vaping on board or on property. When you disembark you can go through their gift shop, use the bar or use the station bathroom.

If I could give a negative for the quality of food I would. Clearly use AI generated pictures on website. Service and atmosphere was good and dinner show was great. Not worth the price point of the meal...should have known when we had two ( see pic below of what you show on site) stale pretzel bites, a glob of cold cheese and two celery sticks on plate as the first course. Chicken was dry and barely edible prime rib was at least 50% fat

We enjoyed the company we had today in our table. The service was good with exception of the food. They brought the wrong lunch for me. We pre order online and got the wrong meal served. Other than that it was a fun ride! Nice weather too.

Other than my halibut being slightly dry, the entire experience was amazing and our server Sabrina was incredible! This is a very long way from home as I live in Southwest Louisiana but I will definitely be back if the Good Lord is willing.

Had a great experience overall! The setting was beautiful and the appetizers were absolutely delicious. The chicken was flavorful but just a little on the dry side. Service was mostly great—friendly and attentive—though one team member was a bit slow to communicate. Still, the vibe and quality made it a worthwhile visit. Would definitely come back and try something new next time!

Waiters weren’t paying attention to all guests and completely forgot our drinks. There was one shorter girl working both the host stand and bussing tables that was the best employee in the entire restaurant, they need more of her! Sad I didn’t catch her name to list it here. We tried the classic smash burger and the cod sandwich. Burger was basic and tasted good overall. The side of coleslaw was pitiful and felt weird on the plate with how small it was, like they were trying too hard just to add something to the plate. Cod sandwich was fish forward, in a good way, I liked that it wasn’t slopped with sauce. They have 2 different old fashions so I thought maybe 2 different bourbons, they both use Buffalo Trace (which is great) and figured we would try something else so we grabbed the “pineapple highball” and the “give me something sweet” Both were a great choice and different from the norm. Had to wait about 30 minutes for an inside table as the outside was too busy. Seemed more like the wait staff was too busy talking or checking their phones to keep the tables moving. Would we go again? Maybe grab it to go or show up before the rush to be outside. Plan to wait for service though.

We had an amazing experience at Scout & Scholar. We were able to be seated immediately and the entire restaurant was clean and well decorated. Our server was attentive and kind when explaining the most popular dishes. The pretzel app is a MUST have. The beer cheese was a table favorite. We will definitely be back during our next trip on the bourbon trail.

We went here for dinner on a Thursday evening after a tour guide at Makers Mark recommended the place to us. We were told there was about a 25 minute wait and that we could wait/hang out upstairs. The upstairs area is for private rentals and has a few bar games + tvs. This is a really unique restaurant space that we enjoyed hanging out in! Once we were seated, we ordered a couple beers which were OK (not our favorite). The Food - We ordered the stuffed mushrooms for an appetizer and shared the fried chicken sandwich. I eat much less than my husband and we wanted to ensure we didn't have leftovers because of our itinerary during our trip. The stuffed mushrooms price was a little steep for 5 very average sized shrooms. They were good, but nothing to brag about. The chicken sandwich was good and exactly what you'd expect. The crispiness was perfect and not overly battered. Favorite part (weirdly) was the tater tots. They were perfectly crisp. Definitely recommend checking this place out while you're in Bardstown.

Extensive selection of craft beer on tap. Very good flavors described well from the house brewer. Had one tasting that was labeled incorrectly by the waiter and he argued with me. But it was good fun. Meatballs were good but didn’t pair well with the two sauces. The watered down Thai was disappointing. Still a fun atmosphere.

Great place for some tasty beers and food while in the Bardstown and surrounding area. They’re making their own craft beer - a d quite well. The variety of food options were impressive and very good. And the people were solid as well. Some cool artwork on the wall, too.

Hands down the best smashburgers I’ve ever had — crispy edges, juicy center, and packed with flavor. The service was top-notch: friendly, fast, and genuinely welcoming. And the cherry on top? A great selection of local drinks that perfectly complemented the meal. Can’t wait to come back!

What a great place, so much history! Alot of great displays with plenty of artifacts. Then you can go outside to the little village, real cabins that you can go into and check out some more history. They also have two more museums up the street but we were running out of time and were unable to check them out. But your ticket is good for 2 days, we will definitely go back to check out the rest.

Cool old log cabins and tons of books for sale. The woman working there was very knowledgeable and friendly.

I enjoyed the village more so then all their displays while it is informative, I think that it can be arranged were it can be more interesting to read all the information. This would be a great place for students writing a report on history.

A fascinating historical site with lots of interesting things to see

I was impressed with the museum! Well laid out and very informative as to the different battles. Lots of weaponry and stuff. Highly recommend it. My wife/navigator/genealogy expert researched and found we both have ancestors from here.

A gem in Bardstown! The staff saw that we had arrived 15 minutes before the scheduled opening, and they opened early for us. They were extremely personable and made the experience all the more special. Visit the website for the unique displays. Plan to spend several hours or several days as the ticket can be used for 2 days. You can view the separate buildings and authentic log cabin village at your leisure while seeing the other gems in Bardstown.

This is a decent restaurant in a historic building with character. The service was wonderful and our entrees were good but not memorable in any way. We shared a Caprese salad, which was lacking the basil, so it started with disappointment. I had the Weiner Schnitzel and my wife had Kreso’s chicken. The ambiance in the dining area and bar is wonderful, but the men’s restroom was dark and dingy, and the trash was already overflowing when they had literally just opened for the evening. The staff were great and I really wanted to love this place, but with right at $80 spent with none of the food standing out as terrific, I can’t honestly give it 5 stars.

Waking by and stopped in for dinner and so glad we did. Food was fantastic and service was very nice. Atmosphere was nice, white table cloths, but not stuffy. Definitely will revisit next time in Bardstown.

Wr enjoyed a wonderful dinner with our friends Saturday night. The owners are wonderful people and so incredibly accommodating. We all had something different and we enjoyed them all. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Love this place! Hadn't been since b4 the pandemic. But was so happy to see the same owners and get the exact same delicious meals! The Kreso Pasta is delicious!

One of the best dining experiences in Bardstown! We highly recommend the Kreso’s Chicken and the goulash. The chicken marsala is also superb.

We had a great experience here. The friendly staff gave us very good service. The menu is small but everything on it looked amazing. Would highly recommend the Corden Bleu and the Kresco’s chicken. We will definitely come back!

What an absolute gem - you'll never meet a kinder group of folks making some of the tastiest food in KY. I had the salad, schnitzel, and goulash and ate way too much table bread 😅 can't wait to be back next year for KBF!

I placed a mobile pick up order and immediately went to pick it up. The fries were cold. The buns were burnt on my chicken sandwich.

Ordered a half pound roast beef and cheese and the angus cheese steak. And had to wait. The food was cold. The roast beef and cheese had no cheese on it and only gave me 2 packs of horsey sauce for 2 big sandwiches. Won’t be back

These poor ladies. So Short staffed. Busy taking orders. Only one cook. Ran out of roast beef. Filled all drive thru orders and neglected dining room orders. Stupidness on door has rewards offer but you can't use the app here. They tried hard but I recommend you go somewhere else.

Went at 11am. Inside closed. Fries must have even a day old. Trashed. Sandwich cold. Bread hard. Horrible service at drive through only option. Never will be back again.

The wait was ok. The food was bad. The fries were cold and the arbys double was actually bad. The meat was flat and old. Picture is attached. The staff was personable. The bathrooms were not particularly dirty. I’m sure they get a lot of tourists and less repeat business, but the food left a lot of room for improvement for 2pm on a Friday

We went here the last time we came to Bardstown also. The meat is super juicy and tender. I wasn't a fan mac n cheese tho. They used the queso sauce for it. 😕 We got the pulled pork queso fries and they were delicious! My husband got a burger and he loved it! We will definitely be back!

I guess you can call things that have not been smoked "BBQ"?!! I am putting pictures up so you can decide for yourself... The one picture with meats & sides is a sampler for 2 that is $29. Its supposed to be pulled pork, pulled chicken & brisket. There is ZERO smoke flavor at all! While I am not a meat expert, I am almost certain that this is NOT brisket. Every brisket I've ever had, has had 1-2 inch meat fibers - not these long fibers (it reminds me more of pot roast in texture & taste). Also notice... NO SMOKE RING AT ALL! Needless to say, all 5 of us tasted the platter & didn't touch it again. We did not even doggie bag it. So we left 7/8ths of $30 plater behind because it was so poor. The rest of our meals were burgers, pork chops & chilli. There was nothing to write home about on any of it & the price was on the high side at $90+ for 5 people. For my part (and my family's), although we live in town, we won't be back.

Alexander Bullitt's Brewery & BBQ came out of COVID19 shutdown with a mostly new list of delicious menu items. Many more "Manly-Man" choices like SMOKED BRATWURST and incredible STEAKBURGERS made from that crazy marbled WAGYU Beef. As someone afflicted with Gout I have to stay away from those kingly treasures. Lucky for me they also added a bevy of seven different flavored bone-in chicken wings to their new menu. I took advantage of their "Tuesday & Wednesday $20 All You Can Eat Wings" to sample every one of those fine flavors. I started with the COCHUJANG, a traditional Korean sauce from fermented chili paste.It was the perfect balance of sweet and spicy. The second flavored wings were SWEET THAI CHILI, a little sweeter than the COCHUJANG but with its own enjoyable Asian flavor. Then I moved to the more American flavors of HONEY BOURBON BBQ and CAROLINA GOLD BBQ. Both of those were sweet and could hold their own without any additional tinkering in RANCH or BLUECHEESE. The CAROLINA GOLD BBQ had a pleasant smoke aroma and a delicious mustard flare. Next came the SWEET BBQ and SPICY BBQ. I'm not a big fan of traditional BBQ flavors, but if you are, these would make you come back for more. Finally I had the BUFFALO WINGS. Now mind you, I have driven to Buffalo New York more than once to try the original and I am glad to tell you to save the gas and drive to Bardstown instead if you want the best BUFFALO Wings. These were far better but a lot closer! My only complaint is that Alexander Bullitt's Brewery & BBQ has some of the best RANCH Dressing I have ever tasted but it is not as thick as I like it. The flavor wasn't affected as I dipped the BUFFALO WINGS in for that preferred enhancement, but the drippy mess made me a sloppier than normal eater. C'est la vie. I soon forgot my spotted shirt as I finished the ALE-X that was included with the price. This BULLITT'S CRAFT BEER was the perfect accompaniment as I sat in the Bourbon Capitol of the World. It's a balanced Ale that has been aged in a Bourbon-Soaked Oak Barrel. Needless to say, I enjoyed my meal immensely.

I have visited this establishment twice. The first time was a great experience, that is why I returned. However, on my 2nd visit I was extremely dissatisfied and give it 2 Stars. I ordered the 3 meat sampler it is described as "a platter piled high with pulled pork, pulled chicken and smoked brisket." Normally when I get brisket it is sliced or in chunks and because it wasn't described as "pulled" like the chicken and pork on the menu, I assumed it would not be shredded....but, I was wrong! So the problem starts with: 1. Having to order buns as a side dish. Typically with all the shredded meat, buns are included. It was an additional $2 for 2 buns. 2. No utensils for a takeout order of $20...how am I supposed to eat? 3. When I opened my food box, the meat was all thrown together. I ordered extra pork in place of chicken, but it looked like chicken, not pork. There was nothing to differentiate each meat from the other, it was all thrown together. There should be some separation. The brisket is shredded just like everything else. Look at the pic, can you tell the difference? I really feel like I got some chicken, which I don't eat. I ended up giving it away🙁 4. I had the baked beans the first time I came, so I got them again. They were good both times, however they were not consistent. The first time they were extremely thick, no liquidity. This time they were more soupy with additional meat, fat and onions (I'm assuming) that were not present the first time. I was surprised, because they were much different from the first time I ordered. To be fair, although this visit was a 2, my first visit was a 4. That's why I met in the middle to give a 3 for the combined 2 visits. The first visit I had the pork tenderloin. It was tender and flavorful. The bartender was nice and it was a great first visit. The only other suggestion is although the mac n cheese is unique with the spice, I had to pick out the red and green chillies, because it's a little too spicy for me. It would be nice to have a non-spicy option. ***I do notice that responses are given to all the positive reviews, but nothing to the reviews that are expressing bad service, or subpar quality of food. I hope that you hear me and please take into consideration my experience. I was excited to come back and patronize your establishment. I had already started telling people about you guys. Hopefully the next time will be better.***

100% worst dining experience. Came in with 15 people, with reservations, and food took 1.5 hours to be served. The food, every plate was 100% cold. Server was very nice and kept drink pretty well filled. Cooks are literally incompetent. Burger burnt to a crisp, Mac and cheese colder than room temp. After telling the server the food was cold she said "ok I'll tell the cooks." They all knew the food was cold. There is no chance I'll ever return and will tell everyone I know to do the same. There's very little times that I leave a 1star review but the was this experience was all together I wish there was a zero star option. Large groups have a 20% gratuity as well, so ,why would they care.

One of the best places that we have stopped. The pulled pork tacos were outstanding. Had a side of green beans with bacon, don't know if I'll ever eat regular green beans again. Wife had tug he wings which were very good. Service was fast and friendly, even with the place being packed.

They had great service, really nice location, the food was quick to come out and it was delicious. The coleslaw was amazing and the beer (I had the lager) was good too. Honestly this is a great place to hop into if you just want to step out of the street and enjoy a cold one or have a burger. We went after a long hike and this was just what we needed.

What a great place to visit. Recommended by someone we met at another distillery. Well worth the visit. Baby Kate was our guide and she was funny and very informative. All 6 whiskeys that we tried were awesome. If you’re in the Bardstown area be sure to stop by!

Our visit to Preservation Distillery was an unforgettable experience. We had the pleasure of meeting Marci in person — always such a treat — as well as Kyle Loyd, who has a great background from his time with Michter’s. We enjoyed an incredible dinner with perfectly cooked steak and pulled pork sandwiches, followed by a super in-depth tasting that made the day even more special. Being able to talk with Kyle about the technical side of their blending and distillation process was fascinating — he was generous with his knowledge and clearly passionate about what they do. Marci was amazing as always, bringing so much history and insight from her time with the Van Winkle family. Getting to try their 17- and 20-year Stitzel-Weller whiskies was truly a dream come true. Preservation is a must-visit for anyone who loves great bourbon, great people, and a truly personal experience.

If you like very special things and meeting great people, make sure to visit get a tour at Preservation. Also have some of their amazing bourbons. You’ll Learn a lot and taste the flavors of the past. Amy, our guide, gave us the best distillery tour we’ve had by far (even though others were great too). She was knowledgeable and fun, even though her jokes were at least 51% corn. I have to say their sweet mash bourbons, and locally grown rye, are at the top of my list now.

I’d like to gatekeep this distillery, but it wouldn’t be fair to them. Fantastic small distillery. I would have purchased everything we tasted. The tour was fantastic. And AMY was knowledgeable, personable, funny and overall entertaining. Would go back and ask for her as a tour guide. This is a must see stop if you are looking for great bourbon.

We had the absolute pleasure of having Amy as our tour guide at Preservation Distillery, and she was nothing short of amazing. From the moment the tour began, Amy’s warmth, energy, and passion for bourbon shined through. She was not only incredibly knowledgeable but also had a fantastic way of explaining the history and process in a way that was engaging, fun, and easy to follow. Amy made the experience feel personal and special, taking the time to answer questions and share stories that brought everything to life. Her enthusiasm was contagious, and it’s clear she truly loves what she does. By the end of the tour, we didn’t just feel like we had learned a lot—we felt like we had spent time with a friend who genuinely cared about our experience. If you’re visiting Preservation Distillery, I cannot recommend Amy enough. She turned a great tour into an unforgettable one!

Save time and skip the other tours. We have been on several of the well rated ones and this was our favorite. We did the Buffalo Trace tasting yesterday and it was way to busy. This was very personal. The bourbon being great helped too. But this is KY, lots of the bourbon is great, the experience is what really made the difference.

We had a wonderful tour. Everyone was so welcoming from the moment we walked in the door Annette did a great job pouring out all her knowledge of the process, the brand, and the product. So happy we decided to stop in for a tour and tasting. Fantastic products!

An excellent event even if you don’t like bourbon. Can not wait for next year. Met several people who traveled from out of state to come. It is held in Bardstown,Kentucky heart of Bourbon Country.

First-timer here! I had a really fun time. Everyone was extremely nice and the vendors/ distillers were excited to share all about their product which made me feel the same. Extremely well organized & a really nice feeling of safety and feeling welcomed. Thank you Bardstown, Kentucky! Thank you Bourbon Festival '25!

This was the 4th time attending the Kentucky Bourbon Festival and enjoyed meeting many of the industry movers and shakers , purchasing some specialty bottles , and meeting people from all over the globe . The first 2 times were before it was all about money and families were allowed . Since that has changed , the town has been having a downtown festival also which is nice .

Always the best experience! So many different distilleries & vendors! The tickets sell out fast so you have to buy them as soon as you can!

Such an average event. Not a whole lot of unique stuff, just a lot of boring flagship bourbons. I have better bourbons on my bar at home. Overall pretty disappointed with the crappy parking, no good food options, long lines, and basic pours. Glad I can say I have been at least once, but will never make the very expensive mistake of attending again.

Super fun, however they advertised food trucks the entire event, yet kicked out the food trucks two hours before it was over. I saw a bunch of panicked tipsy people who realized they couldn't eat to keep drinking 🤣

This park has it all!! I love trail walking, I didn’t know they had them too! Bardstown is a really nice place to be!!

A very nice little park! We visited on a very hot day, but the lower gazebo was noticeably cooler and made for a pleasant picnic. Plenty of tables to share and decent bathrooms, too. This park also boasts a very nice playground for kids to expend some of their boundless energy. Overall, a great place to rest and refresh amidst a busy day!

A nice slice of Mother Nature Hidden inside the historic district of Bardstown city limits. A very picturesque setting with a amphitheater/ shelter and a covered picnic shelter. Fountain water available to refill your bottles. A natural area for hikers with ridges and a reservoir. Fishing lake with Kentucky fishing license. Beware this is a natural area and snakes and other animals are present use caution. Trails are marked at the trail head and are simple to follow. Sturdy shoes recommended as well as bug spray . The main area is a nice stop for a relaxing stop or lunch Bathroom facilities are available

A cool little venue for some great love music, an AMAZING playground, and even a few miles of interesting and engaging trails to hike!

Needed more parking on nights with high school concerts or other big events. But other than that, the bathrooms were clean and stocked, and there's plenty of space to sit in your chairs or on a blanket. Nice stage/ concrete/ Pavillion, sound was really good, but the kids on the play ground we really loud (parents with no respect for what was going on)

We had a church picnic here and the park was laid out so well that we could easily see the kids on the playground or in the grassy area from the pavilion Everything was clean and orderly I would definitely go back!!

We love the country ham, the selection of cheeses. We got a few tomatoes, they was so good. We arrived 1 hour B4 closing and then asked to have the 12.97 a pound country ham. I wanted it shaved. The owners wife told me she just cleaned the slicers and she wasn't gonna dirty up the slicers, cause shaved makes a mess. So she sliced it thin. We came there from fifty minutes away. We also bought there breakfast sausage. I feel that maybe they should cleSn slicers after they close

I’ve always enjoyed shopping at this store, however I recently purchased a box of July Prince peaches to can and they were mushy and foamy. I tried to can them the same day that I purchased them and have been canning peaches for 40 years! The owner refused to take them back or to replace them. The only reason I’m giving them two stars is because I also bought three bushels of sweet corn to freeze the same day that I bought the peaches and it was good. If you’re not going to stand behind the products that you sell, don’t offer them to the public.

Very good experience. The susage is the best I have ever had, also the bacon and ham very good. Just an old county store with everything. We drove 1hour and 1/2 several times to get meat.

We got there maybe 15 minutes before they close today. I sent my daughter in there to pick out what type of cheese she wanted mind you. She's not a child. She's in her 20s and the lady behind the counter was very rude to her and wouldn't wait on her and told her they were done for the day And as I was walking in the door my daughter said she said they're not cutting any more cheese and then a lady that came in right behind us. One up to the counter and she took her order So I proceeded to go over there and waited and granted she took my order cut my cheese up not sure why she refused to wait on my daughter, who was 20 years old and why she was so rude to her but I will never go back in that store again. Boone's butcher shop will get all my business now I have also informed my mom and my step.Dad because they frequently went there and they will no longer return there either Delaney's will never get any of my business or my family

Great service....great selection of pork products. Check out the cold cuts in the deli area, very nice selection. If you are looking for flower box material(flowers)....wide range of various heights and colors; excellant prices!! All these flowers for under $41. Great little store with a heart for the community.

Penelope bourbon has always been my favorite brand, and their annual releases never disappoint. The night before the festival, I had the pleasure of attending an incredible event hosted by Lux Row, which truly set the tone for the entire trip. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the exceptional customer service. The event was beautifully organized and made every attendee feel valued. I walked away with a fantastic selection of allocated bottles, including a few autographed by the master distillers themselves! This was hands down the best bourbon event I've ever attended. If you're a bourbon enthusiast, I highly recommend checking out Penelope and their events. You won’t be disappointed!

Our first morning here, we passed by Lux Row, and decided to stop by at 9:30 AM at opening. Asked about a tour, they told us 10 AM we can do one! Our first bourbon distillery tour, and how nice it is! Alexis took four of us around, and she is a wonderful tour guide, and super sweet! Her, and the staff there, really went out of thier way for us in every way! Highly recommend a stop here, it is a beautiful property, and with wonderful people. Oh and try the Bourdon Coffee here in the morning, wow!

We had the most wonderful time on our tour. Our guide Alexis was not only knowledgeable but also incredibly kind and attentive. She went out of her way to make us feel welcome and answered all our questions with a smile, we laughed non stop! I highly recommend this lux row on your bourbon trail

We had a great experience at Lux Row! The gift shop was open and stocked with plenty of fun merchandise—definitely worth browsing. We appreciated being able to grab a drink before the tour started, though it would’ve been nice to have more small snacks available while we waited. The bar area was spacious and welcoming, and our tour guide Alexis was fantastic—enthusiastic, engaging, and knowledgeable. She kept the energy high and answered all our questions with ease. The tasting at the end was a highlight. It was thoughtfully done and offered a few creative options, including pairing the samples with different chocolates. A really nice touch that elevated the whole experience!

What an awesome experience. Our tour and experience at Lux Row was a highlight of our 3 day bourbon trail trip. I'm a big fan of Blood Oath and was hoping (though not expecting) to find a bottle in the gift shop. To my surprise, not only did I find one, it was a bottle signed by Master Distiller John Rempe! Our tour with Roma was great, got to taste some fantastic whiskey and spent a bunch of money in the gift shop. Don't miss this place!

We had a wonderful experience at Lux Row Distillers, starting with the blackberry lemonade with bourbon! The tour was very informational, and it was clear our tour guide knew her facts! We also loved exploring inside one of the rickhouses and seeing how the bourbon is stored. The tasting was delicious after the tour - plus we loved some of the chocolate pairing options!

I stopped by Pat’s Place for lunch and enjoyed a bourbon burger during my visit. It’s a charming little diner with quick service and a pleasantly sized menu. The bourbon burger, while messy, was delicious. That sauce has a little sweetness and a lot of flavor that really amps up the beef patty. I was very satisfied with my meal. I’d definitely recommend this spot if you’re hungry, in the area, and are looking for something a bit more low key.

I don't know how this place has such good reviews and is supposedly the 2nd best place in all of Kentucky for breakfast. We came in on a Saturday morning, place was semi-busy but not crazy. Stood waiting for 2-3 minutes at the front to be seated and a waitress came by, told us they'd seat us in just a moment once they got a table cleaned off. There were 3-4 empty cleaned tables already, but sure ok. No biggie. Maybe they're short staffed, seems to be the case everywhere these days. Another 10 minutes go by with every waitress in the place staring at us and I started to notice everyone that was seated didn't have food and looked kinda angry. 5 more minutes, and we left. Never got seated, never heard from another employee. Went across the street to Bardstown Burger and got great food and service like always. Didn't feel welcome at all, won't be back.

Everything about this place was great. Great people. Very accommodating. Great food. Very reasonable price. Must check out for Breakfast when in the area

Yall I just had the worst breakfast known to man kind from the Bardstown, KY Dairy Queen. I ordered a 1/2 biscuit and gravy, hash brown and small 1/2 & 1/2 sweet tea. I will say the service was okay no complaints there. But ya'll this food was absolutely disgusting. My biscuit and gravy was ice cold, so I warmed it up and it tasted like a powdery mess...the hashbrown was also cold, heated it up and ate it...the stain you see on the bag is from the so dang greasy hashbrown...my total was only $4.38 but it is still my hard earned money that I choose where to spend it....needless to say it will NEVER be at the Dairy Queen in Bardstown, KY

Drove 6 miles out of my way…did not disappoint. Fries were hot and crispy. Got the extra pickles on my burger. Blizzard was just how I like it. Well done Ethan and team.

My partner, at the drive-thru intercom, asked for a small dipped strawberry cheesecake blizzard. The man taking the order: A WHAT? My partner repeated the order and the man finally got it right. We also ordered one other blizzard flavor as well. After waiting forever because DQ always seems to have slow service above many other fast food chains in the area, we get to the window. The guy who took the order was incredibly dry and rude. The grand total of his courtesy extended no further than telling my partner the price to be paid. My partner, after being handed the two blizzards: Thank you! Have a good one! The guy who took the order: ........... *dead silence before he closes the window* If you're reading this, man, I'm sorry you hate your life so much to be this rude. So, I was handed my small dipped strawberry cheesecake blizzard which was overflowing by about a half an inch above the cup's line. Half-melted, too, because it had apparently been scooped up into the cup while we were waiting in line for the other people to get their orders. That is fine and dandy except when your service is slow and things have time to begin melting. We just wanted both blizzards so that we could have something to eat that was sweet after our dinners which we were heading home to eat. Dairy Queen used to flip the blizzards upside down and then hand them over with a napkin or two wrapped around them back in the day, but I guess those days are gone. We had a 10-minute drive home, maybe even a moment or two less, and the blizzard pretty much immediately started to melt down the sides of the cup. I had other things in my grasp and in my lap, so continually trying to wipe up all of the dessert that was starting to flow down the cup became pretty much impossible. I had to grab for the only thing I could reach within arms length in the car to catch the drippings, and that was an empty Amazon box. By the time I got home you couldn't even see the blue of the blizzard cup because it was soaked. The blizzard soaked through the box and onto my lap as well. By this time I was over it, so it immediately went in the trash. Any time I get a craving for something sweet and frozen, I'll take the trip a couple of extra minutes up the road and go to Baskin Robbins. Dairy Queen isn't what it used to be, and this is coming from someone who has been going to this location here and there for over 30 years. Quit being cheap and give your customers napkins with their sweet treats like you used to, or put lids on things. And hire people that don't need to be plugged into the wall every day for a charge up like Mr. Robot that we encountered.

Went thru drive thru. Woman took my money then handed me the Blizzard with no "thank you", "have a good night", or speaking to me at all. I pulled into parking lot and went inside and returned it for a refund due to bad customer service. The manager on duty gave the refund but no apology. I then went to Sonic where drive thru person said "hello" when I got to window and "thank you " when she gave me my food. Fast food isn't cheap these days. Good service would be nice.

Best Damn Snicker Blizzard I have had in a long time. They didn't skip on the Snickers. It was just the right amount. Good job.

My french fries are either lukewarm or cold!That's the only problem I have with this establishment. I need to say also that the food the hamburgers or whatever I order are absolutely hot and delicious.

There are no dine in menus, so come in knowing what you want. You pay before you eat. I thought my Fettuccine Alfredo was lacking on the meat, but I was grateful they gave me a bit more without a fuss. Everything tasted good. I would just order extra chicken ahead of time when I order again. I added the before and after pictures of the additional meat. With the good service, I am happy to leave this review with full stars.

I’m really disappointed in this place. I figured I’d give it a try. From a service perspective the girl at the window was pretty nice. The food is a different story I essentially paid $15 for a bowl of noodles. There had to be less than 15 grams of protein between my whole family’s order. I could fit the amount of broccoli, chicken, bacon, and mushrooms I got inside the palm of my hand and have room left. I wanted to enjoy it but I just couldn’t.

I was just there with my daughter and her family. Their food came and she said she would be right back with mine. Mine never came. When they were finished eating, I went to the counter and asked for my money back. The manager said it was against policy to refund money. She said she would fix it to go. I told her we lived in London and did not want to wait. She said I should take it to go since I did pay for it and offered me a useless "be our guest" card that is only good for the Bardstown location. I say useless because we live far away and were only driving through.

If you've never been it's like a fast food Olive Garden, with all you can eat bread sticks. I always go for the Original Italian Sub sandwich. It can be a little spicy for some, but it's oh so good. Great service at this location. I stop at one anytime I am in an area that has them.

Edit2: They have a tip button now, seriously? I did a to-go order and it took a while but the worker was polite and apologized for the wait. The straws are all too short for a large and oil was all over my container. Sigh, will I ever learn? Edit: Decided to give the place another shot, Drive thru is a little slow, no big deal. Salad was gross though, it looks like it was expired and they tore the experation tag off. On a positive note, the Italian sub was really good. Old review from 2022 The girl told us there would be a bit of a wait, I was fine with that. But I wasn't fine with her ignoring us for over 10 min to not even take our order, I'm not even exaggerating. I just wanted to order, get my drink and sit down. So we just left

2/28/25 Order 16pc I got all wings they did not ask they just put them in the box. Had to drive back 20 minutes to get food because no one would answer at 8pm and the voicemail is full. The service of the Lees has went way down in the past year. I go there because my parents want it or I would not waste my time or money because it has gotten that bad.

We used to go to Lees quite a bit but here in the last few months our order is always wrong and they are out of stuff on the menu. I have made several online orders to pick up lunches and have been missing half the order when I get back to work. We ordered four dinners tonight and when we got home two of the dinners were missing sides that I paid extra for and the biscuits looked like someone had smashed them in their hand and then put them in the boxes. They were in pieces and not edible. The chicken strips were cold not even warm. Had to heat up what we did get to eat. The food quality has really gone down the drain at this location. And I've been trying to call them for two days and their phone goes straight to a recording that says their mail box is full. With service and food like this, im sure they are tired of listening to the complaints.

Picked up a family pack for dinner at home. Everything was good except for the chicken breast meat that was very tough. Have experienced this at other chicken places as well so probably not exclusive to Lee's. Just wish these places would get away from the steroid

On this particular visit, the chicken liver dinner (my wife's favorite and primary reason we came) was not fresh. She said it was as if was prepared hours before and sat too long. She did return it to the counter to get a tender dinner as a replacement. Our grandson ordered a 3pc tender meal and got a 3pc chicken meal and he decide to keep it and eat it. The AC in the restaurant was FRIGID, but since we had ordered eat in and did not have jackets we decided to try an get thru this, as it would have taken too long to get boxes and load up the 5 family members to take out. We have not had this happen before. And in the future, we will probably stick to carry out.

I ordered a pint of gizzards, and my wife a pot pie. The pot pie was good, so that is the only reason im giving 2 stars. However, the gizzards were cold and so tough that I couldn't chew them! The worst I have ever eaten or tried to eat! A total waste of money! Update.... When contacting the manager, he was very apologetic and offered a full refund or gift certificate to make things right. Typically, the food is very good at Lee's and my favorite place for fried chicken and gizzards . I will continue to go there and recommend..

Placed an order for door dash and they sent the wrong order. The order we got was not even close to the 40 dollar order we placed. When we called they said we could come pick it up. We did door dash because we weren't able to drive 20 minutes to get it. They said they would call door dash to get it refunded. When we tried to get door dash to refund they said Lee's was responsible because they were already paid. So they lied to me.Still waiting to get it resolved.

We got there between 2:00 and 3:00 The staff super friendly and helpful, if it came out in a timely manner it was cooked properly it tasted again we dined in and the dining room needed some desperate attention it's hard to find a clean table we did in fact clean our own The bathroom wasn't too bad except right at the door was awful slick I almost fell I think next time we'll just do drive-thru but overall wasn't a bad experience
