Beaches
Juanita Beach Park is a top-notch destination in Kirkland, offering a wide range of recreational activities. The park boasts a 1,000-foot shoreline on Lake Washington and provides amenities such as bathhouses with restrooms, picnic shelters, and numerous play structures for visitors to enjoy. Additionally, the park features sand volleyball courts, tennis courts, horseshoe rings, and ball fields.
Juanita Beach Park is a lively waterfront spot in Kirkland, Washington, nestled along the northeast shore of Lake Washington. With a sprawling sandy beach stretching 1,000 feet, it’s a summer hotspot where families splash in the shallow swimming area, kids clamber over the all-abilities playground, and friends spike volleyballs on the sand courts. The park’s got a cool vibe—think picnics under shady trees, a pier jutting out into the lake for fishing or just soaking in the Seattle skyline views, and trails that tie it all together. Once a buzzing private resort in the 1920s, it’s now a public gem where history whispers through the Forbes House and interpretive signs, blending yesterday’s charm with today’s fun.
Steven P — Google review
It gets extremely busy on sunny days, and parking often fills up quickly—plus, it’s limited to 4 hours. The atmosphere can get noisy with many visitors playing their own music. That said, the playground is well-maintained, and the bathroom facilities are excellent. The pier is especially lovely around sunset, offering beautiful views and a peaceful moment away from the crowd.
Marta S — Google review
Super cute park. I only had time for a short stroll, but I loved that there was parking and there appeared to be restrooms. The pathways seemed well maintained. It was a great place for an early morning walk before the day got to be too hot. I look forward to exploring the park more extensively 😊
Shortcake S — Google review
It’s more of a local park, without any water sports facilities, and mainly suited for casual summer activities like picnicking and sunbathing. The park has outdoor showers, clean restrooms, and a designated area for small family gatherings, suitable for groups of up to ten people.
Farshid E — Google review
Great place for families and kids. Sandy's beach, great playground, places for celebrations, nice bride, the water is transparent. All is clean
Irina K — Google review
Absolutely beautiful park with a separate parking area, beach area, playground for younger and older kids, restrooms and water foundations. It really is gorgeous here and you can even find blackberry bushes along the walking path. On cloudy days however it can be a bit windy so bring a jacket 🧥
Olga K — Google review
On the beach with a walkway on Lake Washington enclosing the swimming area, very nice. Fair amount of parking in the lot with plenty of overflow across the street. Friday Farmer's Market uses the overflow, worth checking out in the Summer.

This park has it all. Playarea, beach, green areas, a pier that circles around the water for some great photography.

Juanita Bay Park is a stunning 110-acre urban wildlife habitat located in Kirkland. It offers visitors the opportunity to observe a diverse range of wildlife, including over 200 species of birds, beavers, minks, nutria, snapping turtles, and salamanders. The park features 3,000 feet of trails and boardwalks that lead through six different plant communities such as marshlands and open water areas.
Beautiful and peaceful spot — went for a morning run and couldn't have asked for a better start to the day!

Great place to catch a bird of prey doing what they do. Also so many more beautiful things to see.
Dave M — Google review
Absolutely wonderful place to take a nature walk and see lots of different birds and wildlife. Great for photographers! It's a very well maintained park with restrooms. The big issue can be off leash dogs, random piles of dog poop that haven't been picked up, and underground bee nests.
Jeff K — Google review
It's a beautiful and serene spot. The long wooden deck that extends over the lake is the highlight, offering a fantastic place to walk and enjoy the views. The park is very quiet and feels like a peaceful escape. I saw many people with cameras, and it's easy to see why—the views of the lake and the surrounding greenery are stunning. There’s a convenient parking lot and a restroom at the entrance, which is a big plus. I also appreciated the long path with benches that leads north to another park and shopping area. This is a perfect place for a relaxing stroll and some great photos.
Nan L — Google review
This is my happy place! Such a precious place!! Many impressive birds (eagles, osprey) and other wildlife like beavers and otters. Truly urban wildlife at its finest.

A good place to walk with my dog. The trails are easy and scenic.

Easily my favorite beach park to go to for a long walk and a view. Paddle boarding is accessible and affordable at this beach. The short walk through the woods allows a new perspective of the wildlife. I saw a blue heron there once! Parking can be crowded so the overflow lot is helpful. I wish they had a dog park area for my dogs to play!

DERU Market is a sleek and modern cafe in Kirkland, known for its artisanal deli offerings made from locally sourced ingredients. The restaurant's menu features a variety of options including signature sandwiches, salads, appetizers like bacon-wrapped dates and wild shrimp cocktails, as well as smoked brisket sliders. Additionally, DERU Market satisfies sweet cravings with generous servings of cakes and other treats that pair perfectly with their creamy coffee.
This is a busy place, but definitely worth the wait. Staff is friendly and patient. They took time to explain ways to order and pay, and took great care of us Food came with great presentation, and tasted delicious. Seasoning is light but just right to bring out the natural taste of the ingredients Parking can be tricky during the week. Their parking lot is very small, so street parking is the only alternative
Opinion T — Google review
Deru Market is a gem! We came for Sunday brunch and left really impressed. Food: Beet Lemon Muddle (3/5): Refreshing, tart, with a hint of sweetness, sort of like lemonade with a beet twist. Not my favorite, but interesting. Blueberry Brioche (4/5): Light, fluffy, and fresh. Just sweet enough without being heavy. Toast with Butter & Jam (5/5): Thick-cut bread, generously buttered, with plenty of flavorful jam. Comfort food perfection. Farm Scramble (5/5): Outstanding. The eggs were cooked beautifully, the veggies fresh, and the broccoli was crispy and perfectly seasoned. Easily the star of the meal. Service: Friendly and efficient, though nothing over-the-top. Ambiance: Both indoor and outdoor seating are inviting. Great for families or a casual date. Even on a busy Sunday brunch, it felt lively but never overcrowded. Overall, an excellent spot worth visiting. Delicious food, generous portions, and a relaxed atmosphere.
David K — Google review
Finally made it to DERU and it did not disappoint. The place has a fun atmosphere with a cozy patio that’s perfect for hanging out. Our servers were genuinely warm and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. The yam fries and garlic knots were instant favorites, and the pizzas tasted fresh with great ingredients. The mushroom pizza leaned a bit heavy on garlic, I personally would’ve loved a little more goat cheese to balance it out. And the cake… wow. The slice was huge and absolutely decadent. We had such a great time and are already looking forward to coming back to explore more from the menu.
Aanchal S — Google review
💰 Price: A little pricey for casual dining, but worth it for the quality and size. 👥 Crowd: Always busy, especially at dinner, so expect a bit of a wait. 🌳 Atmosphere: Cozy, rustic-modern vibe, though it can feel crowded when full. 🚗 Transportation: Small parking lot that fills quickly, but you can usually find street parking nearby. 🤝 Service: Friendly, quick, and the food always comes out fresh.
Alex K — Google review
The brioche came out cold and hard as a rock — it must’ve been overbaked and left sitting out too long. The Benedict was cold too, and oddly, only one half had greens while the other had none. I’m not sure if that’s intentional or if the chef just forgot. The only thing that tasted decent was the potatoes. After waiting in line for so long, it was really disappointing to end up with food like this.
Laura C — Google review
Used to be a good deal but not anymore since portion got a lot smaller. First pic is Sept 2025. Second pic is from Feb 2025. The other side salad served at the same time for other tables also seems to be more than mine so maybe it’s discrimination or bad luck. Spoke to the manager and was just told all the salad weight the same and they changed the mix. Nothing was done about it and my salad is definitely smaller than what others had gotten in the restaurant.
Mingming G — Google review
Honestly disappointed. Noodles had an odd aftertaste. Hard to get servers attention for missed items we ordered. The drink, salad, and lemon curd cheesecake was delicious. I’d go again to see if it was an off day, but didn’t find this visit to match its reviews.
Stacy W — Google review
1. They have costumers parking lots available for free 2. Vegan options available 3. Many pizzas 🍕 options available 4. All food are large size or even huge , one item can be shared with two people The beef sandwich was very tasty and huge size, some foods which I was very want to try but only available in the morning section. The coffee is huge size too, it’s a bowl 🥣🤣🤣 The sweet potato was soso ,it's kinds of over cook outside, but did notcook enough inside, also the sauce not taste good。

Waverly Beach Park is a picturesque waterfront park located in Kirkland, offering an enclosed swimming area, boat dock, green lawns, and benches. The park features a playground and picnic shelters, making it an ideal destination for families on warm summer days. Visitors can enjoy stunning views of Mt. Rainier on clear days and the Seattle skyline with the Space Needle in sight.
Great park with a playground for kids, has a little beach, wooden bridge, grassy area, grill and restrooms. Parking lot next to the park with handycaps spots, upper level and street parking outside the entrance. Beautiful sunsets 🔥
Katerina L — Google review
There is a long pier with ladders for swimming. Water is clean and transparent. If you have kids this place would be perfect for them because of playground. I recommend this beach for family rest, but remember that parking lot not so big. People often leave their car on the road in summer.
Marina Z — Google review
Beware. Unrealistically restrictive for swimming. We came with our family to enjoy the lake on a hot day. Despite being in the designated swimming area, with a life jacket on, standing right next to my son, with lifeguards on duty, we weren’t allowed to swim beyond a ankle level cutoff 1 meter from the shore. The water was ankle depth for my 5 year old son and the shallow area was covered in algae. We are very safety conscious individuals, but the lifeguards only care about liability, not about safety.
Ada J — Google review
It’s close to our home and easy to get to. Parking can be a nightmare, but we love how close the water, pier, and playground areas are.
Anthony R — Google review
Very scenic and tranquil park with amazing views (including that of Mount Rainier), and really cute park benches for just relaxing and soaking in the views! Weather was perfect when we visited in early June and we got an amazing view of Mount Rainier from here. The whole place was really bustling as well which was great, and the restrooms were clean and well-maintained with well replenished supplies (toilet paper, hand soap)! Overall a rather small but nice, well-maintained and cozy park worth visiting! You can also consider incorporating this as part of a walking trail with Heritage Park and Marina Park — which are both also free public parks with equally scenic views located nearby! 😌

Very beautiful park, lots of swimming and docks, grassed areas, play ground, covered and non covered picnic tables, grill. Definitely will visit agian.
Breanna M — Google review
First time cold plunging in Kirkland. Nice little spot to swim out and see Mt Rainier on a clear day. You can also see the Seattle skyline and the Space Needle poking out. They have picnic tables and BBQs, and could be a spot to have a group or family picnic. A couple guys were fishing, but never caught anything for the hour that I was there. Good spot to launch a SUP or kayak. There is a small playground, bathrooms, and an upper and lower parking lot. Juanita Bay Park is nearby, and in the summer, you can see sunbathing turtles.

O. O. Denny Park, located in the northwest part of Kirkland, spans over 45 acres and offers stunning lakefront views of Lake Washington and Mount Rainier. Named after Orion Orvil Denny, it features picnic areas, benches, a sand beach, boat launch, and trails for visitors to enjoy. Divided by Holmes Point Dr NE into forested and waterfront sections, the park provides opportunities for relaxation and recreation such as swimming in the lake during warmer months.
One of my favorite trails! This was the first trail that I’ve visited when I first came to Seattle. Amazing views, dog friendly and easy to complete! Perfect for someone looking for an easy hike in the city!
Massiel M — Google review
A super little park with lots of options. On the lakeside you have a wonderful Park, a pavilion for picnics, picnic tables, bathrooms, beachfront access, and a fabulous view of Rainier. (I'll do a separate review of that for families). Across the road, on the left side of the parking lot, is a fabulous trail. That loops up and back around to a road to the east, next to the parking lot. There is also an extended Denny Creek Upper Trailhead (separate review and a bit more challenging!). But it's gorgeous! It goes straight instead of turning right to the path over the stream. A few cautions on the loop trail: there are stone steps, stairs, some pretty steep hills up and back down, and a lot of roots. After rain, there are small bridge footpaths to escape the mud, but not always (so sometimes it gets muddy!). So it's not necessarily for those who aren't great hikers or a bit more hike "challenged". Be sure to be on the lookout for Sylvia, a 600-year-old tree that's the oldest cedar in King county. The plaque has worn off, but check it out. There are also several areas to catch salmon swimming at the right time of year and informational signs about the salmon. Shortly after entering the trail, it's like you're in a different world. Personally, it's one of my favorite little trails. Check out my other review for the extended Denny Creek Upper Trailhead.

Didn’t know this park existed till some day when I was passing then made a spot on my way out to test and see what’s was with the numbers of people there and boom. It was breath taking. It’s a great park. Good for families, dogs and kids.
Newtoxton — Google review
Our favorite place for summer picnics. You get to see that crisp and amazing view of Mt. Rainier right from this park on a sunny day. Lots of trees for shades on a hot day. They have few Cabanas, a small sandy beach, lots of fire pit places and a children park too.
Monica M — Google review
Beautiful park, perfect for grilling and watching the sunset. Each picnic table has a barbecue pit as well. So definitely get here early if you want the gazebo or the shaded picnic areas, because it is full sun exposure here, it is probably the best park to tan as well on a full spectrum day! A lot of families, and great photo opportunities. Certainly, keep an eye on your children this is a partially forested park, with a few odd humans, you never can be too careful. Nice forested entry to the park, we drove in, but it does look like a beautiful walk down too! Parking is difficult, but people come and go, so don't be discouraged. Be sure to support the old mail Jeep Ice cream man!
Hi I — Google review
Nice hidden park on the Kirkland waterfront. Juanita beach park is a few miles away and is constantly busy on nice days. O.O. Denny is much quieter and more laid back. If you get there before 9am, you can always score a nice area for you, your family and your friends. They're currently working on the main play area, but there are barbecue grills and picnic tables aplenty!

Not the best maintenance or upkeep but small park with good views. Pay area can be noisy when people are celebrating birthday parties

Nestled just a stone's throw from Juanita Beach Park, Oto Sushi is a charming little gem that offers an impressive array of sushi rolls alongside hibachi-grilled dishes and flavorful Japanese curries. The ambiance is simple and cozy, with minimal decor that sets the stage for a laid-back dining experience.
Sushi melted deliciously, luxuriously in our mouths -- exceptional preparation. Ordered the nigiri omakase which included ikura, toro, chutoro, otoro, king salmon, yellow tail, sweet spotted shrimp (head fried), several pieces of broiled salmon as well as a roll. it came with me so soup. We ordered some baked mussels and ikura from the Columbia River on the side. Tab came out to $88 for the two of us. Service was attentive and food was prepared very quickly even though the restaurant was full. parking is plentiful and free.
Mari K — Google review
For absolutely amazing sushi at a good price, you have to try Oto Sushi!! We have gone as a family many times and my youngest daughter doesn't like sushi but they have lots of good options for those that don't. The rest of the family LOVES good sushi and it's hard to find a place that serves really good, quality food at a price most people can afford. The presentation is always nice. They spend time thinking about how to display the food in an eye appealing way but also fun. The service is top notch. They pride themselves in making sure the customer is happy and satisfied. We have been there numerous times and the service is always fantastic. It's a relatively small place so it might be worth it to call ahead if you have anybody in a wheelchair or walker. The restaurant is on the street level so there are no stairs but the entry way includes some tight turns but you won't have a problem getting in but there isn't a lot of space between tables so calling in ahead for those with mobility needs is worth it. With the tables being relatively close together, there isn't any real privacy but the noise level isn't bad and people there are pleasant and it doesn't feel awkward. I would say that it would be nice to be in a bigger space that is more spread out, but they're limited with the space they have. The menu is quite extensive with a lot of options. It is fun to go multiple times and try new rolls or dinner platters. The rainbow dinner is fun as that is served on a boat like platter with a dry ice / steam bowl that covers the food. The firecracker roll and mexican roll are great options if you like a little spice. Overall, this is a great place and I highly recommend it.
Brett M — Google review
Oto Sushi is my new go-to in Kirkland! It's conveniently near Juanita Park with easy parking. They do lunch and dinner, offering everything from sushi to comfort grub like rice bowls. Inside, it's chill with plenty of seats – never had to wait, even during peak times. The service rocks; they bring out drinks and edamame right away, a cool touch. Lunch is our vibe for the wallet, but dinner has more choices. Fish isn't super fancy, but it beats conveyor belt joints or places in the same price zone. The salmon passes our taste test. Love that they don't overload the nigiri with rice, letting the fish shine. Soy sauce isn't crazy salty, and the free miso soup has a sweet kick. Rolls come in different price ranges, and they're worth it. Our top pick is the King Salmon roll. They're quick with the food – no long waits. We usually drop around $20 per person for lunch. Overall, Oto Sushi nails it with a sweet location, reasonable prices, a mix of options, and tasty bites. Perfect for a laid-back sushi fix!
Hung T — Google review
Their happy hour menu is surprisingly large, with great choices like the dragon roll and eel roll—both delicious. I also ordered the Philadelphia roll from the regular menu. They serve edamame, but I’d recommend adding green tea and miso soup to round out the experience. Enough space on a Wednesday around lunch time.
Marta S — Google review
This place is great! The atmosphere is relaxing and comfortable. And the sushi was delicious. And they give you a good amount of wasabi and ginger. I loved the volcano roll. If you like things that have a little kick to them I would highly recommend. Place seems kid friendly and a large group could fit in depending on the time you come.
Roland S — Google review
Delicious! Got the Omakase and was not disappointed. Really fresh fish, prepared exceptionally well. I've tried Shrimp Sashimi before, but this was the first time I liked it.
Dave M — Google review
We love the Oto Sushi in Redmond and we’ve been going there quite often. This time we were in the area and decide to eat here, thinking it would have similar quality. But it was disappointing. The chicken karaage was dry, the batter tasted like dust. The ikura nigiri was quite fresh but somehow bland. The spicy tuna roll was just bland, no flavor compared to what we have at the Redmond branch; the sushi rice was dry, not stick together. It’s really not a good sign that we had food left over and didn’t want to box it to go.
Huong P — Google review
Very nice and cozy dinning room with a sushi bar. Service was flawless. Menu was nice and all the rolls we ordered came out quick and looked BEAUTIFUL. My only complaint is the dishes lacked that umami flavor I really enjoy with Sushi and other Japanese dishes. Maybe I'm being picky, but there was a brown sauce that was poured on 4 of the 5 rolls we ordered that was extremely sweet. (I want to say it was Unagi but it was so sweet I wasn't sure) My favorite roll is typically "the Dragon roll" or Eel with Unagi and fish, I typically get one almost every time I go for sushi. I was shocked at how sweet it was, almost like they had used Oysters sauce in place of the Unagi. The first few bites were delicious but the sweetness kept building and eventually made the rolls sort of a chore to finish. I typically like more Salty, bold, Umami "yummy" flavored rolls so I was disappointed with these as I had to supplement every bite with left over gyoza sauce and the table soy sauce. My pallet is obviously not the final say in flavor but I would only recommend the Sushi Rolls if you like them in the sweeter side. We ordered Gyoza (phenomenal filling and the sauce was perfect) Fire starter roll (the best one that tastes the most like clean fish sushi) Dragon roll (way to sweet) Crunchy roll (way to sweet) Salmon king roll (2nd best of the list) Spider roll (extremely bland unfortunately) Mizo soup was also very tasty. Over all it was still a delicious lunch, just a little to sweet for my preference.

Pizza restaurant
Acropolis Pizza & Pasta in Kirkland is a beloved family-owned restaurant that has been serving delicious Italian and Greek cuisine since 1974. The no-frills diner offers a variety of options including pizzas, grinders, pasta, and salads with secret sauces that keep customers coming back for more. The friendly staff and accommodating service make it a great spot for families and larger groups to enjoy a meal together.
This restaurant is reminiscent of an old school NY/NJ diner with booth seating and 1970-1980’s contemporary music playing in the background. The food is good old fashion comfort food with dishes loaded with sauce and melted mozzarella cheese. The pizza isn’t NYC style, but tastes more like a Chicago deep dish pizza with the sauce and pepperoni underneath the cheese laying on a buttery crust, but without the long bake time.

Would give 10/5 stars if I could. My aunt took me here after she swore it was the best grinder she ever had. She started eating there in the 70s and it’s still owned and run by the same family. The grinder was definitely the best, by far. And prices are very reasonable. But the service was also above standard. The waitress helped me figure out what I could order safely with a diary allergy (which there was endless options) but everyone in there was attentive and supportive while we ate. Making sure we had everything we needed. Can’t wait to go back ! Love the cozy family atmosphere and the fact that its family operated is a huge plus. Lovely people & amazing food.

★★★★ Good Pizza, But I Ordered the Wrong One Acropolis Pizza in Kirkland has a great atmosphere and friendly staff. The service was fast, and you can tell they use quality ingredients. Unfortunately, I ended up choosing the wrong pizza for my taste. It wasn’t bad at all, just not what I was expecting. I probably should have gone with one of their more popular options. That said, the crust was perfectly baked, and the toppings were fresh, so I’ll definitely be back to try a different pizza next time. If you’re in the area, it’s worth a visit—just make sure to pick the right pizza for your taste!

Had their grinders in the past. Moved away from area, came back to see if they were still the best. Yes! I love their grinders!
Yvonne K — Google review
Acropolis Pizza in Kirkland is a total gem, and their grinders are out of this world. My absolute favorite is the salami grinder — perfectly toasted bread, stacked with flavorful salami, melty cheese, and just the right touch of seasoning. It’s the kind of sandwich you crave again the minute you finish it. George, the owner, is awesome. Super friendly, welcoming, and clearly takes pride in everything he serves. You can tell this place is built on quality and community. If you haven’t tried their grinders yet, do yourself a favor and go. You’ll be hooked.

My kid LOVES IT! One of the best services we’ve ever had! The staff is so friendly & nice to her (my kid), me, and my wife. ⭐️ I’ve been coming here for about 2-ish years, and it has never disappointed! I recommend the garlic cheese bread & lasagna. Although sometimes some people judge you (customers), it’s very rare and has only happened to me once. All I have to say is, when you go there, prepare to be blasted with delicious foods! 10.5/10 definitely!

This is one of my favorite restaurants! The atmosphere is cozy, and the staff are always so friendly and caring. The food is delicious, the prices are very reasonable, and overall I had a wonderful experience here. Highly recommended!

Indian restaurant
Kathakali is a cozy Indian eatery in Seattle that offers both classic and contemporary South Indian dishes. The restaurant aims to provide an immersive dining experience, showcasing the diverse flavors of India through themed events and specialty foods. Known for its Kerala-style cuisine, Kathakali uses fresh spices and coconut in their seafood and vegetarian dishes. The menu features a variety of unique options such as steamed tapioca, spiced lentil soup, coco paneer, and garlic naan.
What an Indian rustic eatery place it is! Welcoming surroundings by touch of Kerala! I’m visiting to this place since 4 years and they never disappoint us, if only thing which matters is that place is very cozy and small for big party tables but however if you get good spicy tempting food along with friendly service then of course big yes for Kathakali! Honestly I never tried South Indian food before and it was my big misunderstanding that South Indian cuisine concept which means only about spices but when I tried Kathakali they proved me wrong! Their menu which is absolutely out of my words and pronunciation too but I know what I have to eat and their front staff understand very well. We tried chicken biriyani, dry prawns, chicken wings & tilapia fish in appetizers and dosa also kind of Daal vada. Goat curry, cashew based chicken tikka masala curry is so so good perfectly cooked with fresh blended spices and bite of laccha(malabar) paratha with those curries what a combination!!! Must try last but not least jackfruit flavored ice cream aaahhmmm so tasty! Also something it comes cooked in banana leaf it is sweet and hot; perfect for cold weather whoever likes warmed-hot desserts! Deep fried sweet banana coated with flavorful batter which I found so unique dessert and too tasty! Had pistachio lassi which is sweeten and thick but specially I don’t take drinks before meal otherwise I can’t enjoy my rustic meal! By the way be ready if you’re really foodie because sometimes this place packed and you have to be waited for outside in waitlist and that’s too in cold winter but yes wait is worth it! They have plenty of free parking and if you’re too full-off with food after your good meal must take steps towards Juanita Beach which is just on 3-5 minutes away from Kathakali!

We drove from far south based on recommendation from a friend. Malabar parota was very nice .ordered Kasargod Chemeen curry, Tilapia fry and paripu Vada. Chemmeen curry was more sour / too much tamarind for me. Overall it was ok

Loved the chakka ela ada! Everything was good, not the best Kerala food I have eaten, but was good. Really liked poori. The vibe inside the restaurant is also really nice.

I wanted to reach out and share my appreciation for the wonderful experience I had at Kathakali. As someone from South India, I’m often on the lookout for authentic flavors that bring back memories of home, and your food truly exceeded my expectations. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the warm, inviting atmosphere and the genuine hospitality of your staff. The menu offered such a fantastic range of classic South Indian dishes, and each dish I tried was simply outstanding. The spices, flavors, and presentation captured the essence of home in every bite. Big thanks to Bhaswati, our server. She made our dining experience a 10/10!

I like this place because it has unique Indian food ( from Kerala). Unlike most of the Indian places the menu is fairly unique. It was good and we enjoyed it a lot.

Favorite place to eat uniquely different Indian cuisine…. They have a mean Kerala Meen Curry…. That’s fish curry (tilapia) for the uninitiated. You can try extra and ask for extra spicy sauce base. Lovely and cozy ambiance. Lots of parking but it’s often full on peak hours

I stopped by for lunch and ordered dosa, appam, and mutton, and I was thoroughly impressed with the food. Each dish was flavorful and delicious, with authentic spices and fresh ingredients that made the meal memorable. The dosa was perfectly crispy, the appam soft and light, and the mutton tender and well-seasoned. The flavors really stood out, making this a great spot for anyone craving quality Indian food. I enjoyed the meal so much that I’m already looking forward to coming back. If you’re in the area, I highly recommend giving this place a try!

Free parking on the side. Feel like we were in a rust. They had us wait for 30 minutes for the table, when our table ready they asked us to order before being seated. Which is fine as they said food will come out faster. We ordered our food, then got seated, waited for another 40 minutes for our food to come out. They were missing our order when I asked they argued, and then brought our order out without apologizing for it. Seating was really tight. There are barely rooms to move around without touching others customers. In the end they did say sorry for the mistake. However I personally wouldn’t come back.

French restaurant
Lynn's Bistro, a French restaurant with Asian influences, offers an intimate dining experience in a subtle and serene setting. The pale-green room is adorned with framed artwork, while white tablecloths grace each table. This establishment serves appetizing French-style menus as well as delectable American options like burgers and barbecue. Vegetarian cuisine is also available, and guests can unwind at the bar with a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
Cute small local restaurant in Kirkland with a chef who is dedicated to bringing Asian-influenced French cuisine to the Pacific Northwest. Cozy and delightfully decorated interiors (you'll notice the collection of colorful plates on the wall), generous dish portion, fresh & local ingredients, rich flavor, reasonable price point, and super warm & friendly staff (including Lynn - the owner and chef herself!). We'll be back for more!

Great place to have some French food. Imy wife and I would probably skip the French soup. It's decent but we prefer other places where there is more onions (caramelized!) And crispy croutons rather than soggy ones. The duck I had and the escargot that my wife had as well as the crab cakes were great. The desserts are yummy too. The best really are the sauces on the entrees! Hahaha.
Oliver — Google review
We have been coming to Lynn's for 20 years since moving to Kirkland, and her food never disappoints. While we routinely try out new places, Lynn's is like a reliable warm hug from an old friend. Her sauces are to die for, and everything perfectly cooked. It's difficult to choose my favorite, but her shrimp ravioli, french onion soup, and filet mignon are top of my list. Sat evening i had Fish of the Day, which was Salmon in mushroom butter sauce. It comes with sautéed vegetables and scalloped potatoes. My husband had crab cakes in lobster sauce which came with the same sides. This guy who detests anything green gobbled down the vegetables first. It's a testament to how perfect Lynn's sautéed vegetables are. He also never eat soup, except the French onion soup at Lynn's. My salmon was perfectly cooked, silky smooth and full of flavor. Crab cakes were large chunks of jumbo lumps in a lobster sauce that makes you mop up every drop with the hot french rolls. Service was friendly and prompt without pretentiousness. Lynn's is a gem that will have you coming back for repeat visits.

Wonderful dining experience and great food with a local legend. Chef Lynn has been cooking classic French meals in Kirkland for over 20 years and still brings the passion to her cooking that is usually only seen in newer chefs. Bravo!

Booked half the restaurant for a company dinner and it was a fantastic experience. The owner was extremely accommodating working with me to setup a menu that would suit our palette including adding many vegetarian items that are usually not served. French onion soup is absolutely delicious. The lamb entree was perfectly cooked and wished there was more. The rum bread pudding to end the meal was a perfect balance of sweetness and texture. Loved the staff and even let us stay a little after closing.

Mixed reviews. Online menu is wrong and when reporting it to the owner she complained. My onion soup was fantastic. I got the crab quiche special and it was bland and very dry. I didn't eat it. There were only 2 tables occupied and an elderly couple with a cane entered asking for a 4-top for more space. They were seated by the nice wait staff, but was then scolded again by the owner that they were not allowed to sit at a larger table! How rude! I counted 6 open 4-top tables with no other people entering. Need better customer service with management.

Interesting food, most dishes were tasty. Check out the pictures to get an idea. The place is a bit cramped. The service was good. The food is better than the ambiance. The prices are bit higher than the food 😀
Ismail S — Google review
A well-run, cozy restaurant with fresh dishes and great 3 course meals (with package deals of $38 or $48). Bread is provided with butter or balsamic vinegar and olive oil. Each course is well presented and a reasonable portion if you consider the other 2 courses.

Brunch restaurant
Restaurant
Cactus Kirkland is a vibrant Southwestern-Mexican restaurant located in downtown Kirkland. After a recent remodeling, the cheerful and colorful outpost now features hand-painted walls and pleasant lighting. The menu offers a variety of tapas, bocaditos, and antojitos meant for sharing with friends. The restaurant also boasts an extensive list of tequila drinks and superb house cocktails.
We had a fantastic dinner at Cactus in Kirkland last night. Three of us shared the carne asada plate and the shrimp & grits. The carne asada was so flavorful and tender, cooked to perfection, medium/medium rare. The shrimp and grits had bold flavors of the south and the roasted corn on both dishes were out of this world! Cocktails were refreshing and delicious! As first-timers dining there, we were surprised at the end of our meal with a complementary flan that was a perfect caramel top and silky custard. Our server, Marissa, was very personable and energetic. She gave well balanced recommendations of the food, and made sure to ask if we liked spice, or wanted something on the side. We had a great experience overall!

A vibrant and friendly host is the best part of the visit. This young gal is the best addition at this location compared to the past personnel I interacted with before. Our Waitress just want to get her job done and move on. Ok. So be it… Overall, the food is tasty but always on the high sodium side. We requested for no salt chips. The answer is NO. This location is one block from Lake WA with outdoor seating. It’s sure a popular place. Street or paid parking lot
N W — Google review
Came for an early dinner on a Sunday. The host was super friendly and let us pick whichever outdoor seat we wanted since there were options. Our waitress came not long after and she asked if we want chips, salsa, and guacamole for the table (only later to find out on the bill that it costs $11.) We ordered house fajita with skirt steak and chimayo enchilada. Both dishes were mediocre for us, we had better elsewhere and at home tbh. The location of the restaurant is convenient and nicely tucked away where you can see cars driving by and people walking past. The atmosphere inside also seems nice, restroom was clean so that's a plus. All in all, good experience thanks to the friendliness of the host and the waitress but we will try elsewhere for Mexican food. The sign did say along the lines of "We are not authentic, but we are Cactus."

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ From the moment I walked into Cactus in Kirkland, I felt welcome. The host greeted me warmly right away and set the tone for a great experience. I chose to sit outdoors, which was beautiful — the perfect spot to enjoy the lively atmosphere and great music. My server, Sara, was wonderful. I ordered both of her recommendations — the squash blossoms and the Sonoran Spa Chicken — and they were absolutely delicious. Every bite was packed with flavor, and I could tell the ingredients were fresh and thoughtfully prepared. The service, the atmosphere, and the food were all top-notch. Highly recommend Cactus in Kirkland — I can’t wait to come back!

If you're looking for great Mexican food that has an original twist, combined with phenomenal handmade corn tortillas...Cactus is for you. This specific location is enchanting and lively for get-togethers for food and drink.
Chris G — Google review
Excellent location with great service and a lovely ambiance. While the food was good, it felt a bit bland compared to their SLU location. We enjoyed the guacamole with chips and salsa, but the highlight of the meal was definitely the flan which was rich, smooth, and perfectly executed.

We had a very enjoyable lunch at Cactus 🌵. Very nice selection of meals and drinks on the menu. Nice selection of outside seating. Big nicely stocked bar with heaps of drinks.

Flavors that impress, drinks that refresh, and vibes that make you stay longer than you planned—Cactus is a standout in every sense. Food: Cactus brings bold Latin flavors with thoughtful plating and generous portions, making it a must-visit spot for both locals and visitors. • The Jackfruit Tinga Tacos were an absolute delight. As a first-time jackfruit experience, it hit all the right notes—smoky, savory, tender, and perfectly balanced with rice, beans, and house toppings. A 5/5 dish that even meat lovers would enjoy. • The Chimichanga, while crispy and golden on the outside, leaned heavily on cheese for the vegetarian version. While satisfying with sour cream, guacamole, and hot sauce, on its own, it felt a bit one-note. Still enjoyable, but best as a base for customization (3/5). • The Nachos were vibrant and texturally on point—perfect crunch, generous toppings, creamy guac, and a drizzle of crema that brought it all together. It was a wholesome, shareable favorite (5/5). • The Hibiscus Mango Sour (non-alcoholic) was a showstopper in a glass—vibrant, perfectly balanced between tangy and sweet, with a refreshing fizz. Easily one of the best mocktails around. • The Three Milk Cuban Flan was a smooth, melt-in-the-mouth finale to the meal. Subtly sweet with a hint of caramel and a creamy, custard-like texture, it didn’t feel overly rich—just enough to round out the flavors of the evening beautifully. ⸻ Service: The service was warm, upbeat, and attentive throughout the evening. Staff offered helpful suggestions, checked in regularly, and ensured a great pace of service. The only downside—they don’t accept reservations, so be prepared for a bit of a wait during busy hours, especially weekends. ⸻ Ambience: Cactus gets full marks for its charming, moody, and inviting interiors. The décor is rich with wood textures, patterned tiles, soft lighting, and a mix of cozy booths and street-facing seating. It’s both lively and intimate, making it perfect for dates, group dinners, or even solo wind-downs. The presentation of each dish and drink only added to the vibe—colorful, clean, and Insta-worthy. ⸻ Pricing: While the pricing leans toward the higher end, the portion sizes are generous and the ingredients feel fresh and premium. For the quality, ambience, and service, it’s a well-justified splurge for a great night out. ⸻ Overall Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5) Cactus in Kirkland checks all the boxes—from flavorful dishes and eye-catching cocktails to atmosphere that invites you to linger. A few small tweaks for vegetarian options would perfect the experience, but it still earns a full 5-star rating for its consistency, creativity, and charm.

The food was scrumptious, the service was impeccable(shoutout to Hailey), and we practically had the restaurant to ourselves on Easter Sunday early dinner time. I had their pot roast dinner and the pot roast was indeed tender, melt-in-your-mouth delicious!! The gravy was so tasty that Ai had to request for an extra serving 👍🏼♥️😋

Took my friend there for lunch today for his birthday. First time eating there and everything was awesome! Been a long time since I had a burger this amazing! And the fries crunching and soft in middle. I tried the cake my friend had..wow..so good! Service was excellent too! Surprised that this place doesn't have a higher rating. (Guy behind me said he eats there everyday lol) Highly recommend burgers fries tots and cake! Will try and make it down there to try other dishes 😊 (Wished I would've taken a picture prior to half eaten plates lol)

Stopped by this place for weekday brunch after an early morning errand. This place has a cute vintage vibe to it, with tables & booths with a bar seating area as well! The service was wonderful, the staff were kind and efficient and let us hang out for a bit after we finished eating, which was nice as it let us catch up a bit. It seemed that there were many Greek food influence in their menu yet some typical popular choices as well. I went with the baklava pancakes as it sounded good & i haven't had pancakes or a baklava in awhile :) Some of the other dishes chosen were the greek omelette and the chorizo benedict; both seemed to be well received too! I would definitely come out again & hope to soon!

George's is an absolute delight for brunch, lunch, and dinner. I've been for all types of meals and the food is consistently tasty, and the service is solid any time of day. The prices are definitely on the high side, but the portions make up for that. I never feel like I've spent too much for what I've gotten.

Last time I went was 13 years ago and it was "just ok" then. This time their simple food was amazing. And my son who hates eating out because he thinks the food anywhere is "just ok" and therefore not worth the money, thought it was REALLY GOOD. !!! They have put some work into the appearance inside and it looks great. We had pancakes, french toast, scrambled eggs, bacon, ham, toast and hashbrowns...truly the basics but it was all just sooooo good? Magic stirred in? Who cares. We will be back Also service was great. Prompt and always there when we needed something. Very friendly. Great at always making sure we had full glasses of water
Grace E — Google review
I had breakfast here and found their menu to be somewhat unique (as far as breakfast fare goes) with a proud focus on benedict variations. I chose a Keto Plate (no carbs) which seemed a little pricy for what arrived, but ended up being flavorful and attractively presented. I was very surprised though when they informed me that taking my last cup of coffee in a to go cup was not their practice. I already had the coffee in my cup and the prices seemed more than adequate to spare me a paper cup. So a weird quirk for breakfast diners to be aware of. I would imagine it’s the same deal for iced teas later in the day. My sense is that the staff works to make the most they can within the owner’s decisions (pricing, to go cups, etc…). They clearly endeavor to be accommodating (although a little forgetful) and were ready to offer smiles to everyone :-)

Flatstick Pub in Kirkland offers a modern, warehouse-like space where you can enjoy Washington beer on tap and simple pub grub. The main attraction here is the 9-hole mini-golf course right inside the pub. You can even book a tee time on their website to ensure you get to play. Additionally, they have a unique game called duffleboard that was invented by Flatstick Pub themselves.
Flatstick Pub is a blast! Perfect for craft beer lovers with awesome local WA brews, mini golf, and fun table games. Recently hosted a birthday party by booking whole golf course (Country Club Package) and it was such a hit for everyone who attended. Staffs were super nice and helpful from booking the space month ahead to day of the service. We brought our own food to feed ~50 people, then everyone got to open their own drink tabs and it was very easy process. Unlimited (and exclusive to the party) mini golf was included with country club package and everyone had great time! Highly recommend for big party option. Pricing is super reasonable and it was def worth it for special celebration!

Craft beer, mini golf, games, friendly staff. What's not to like? They have a small food menu, the place isn't huge, 50 people would be crowded, 100 might be capacity. They have beer, wine, cider and seltzer, no booze or cocktails. There is a large pay parking lot in front. Located right near the water front.

Lots of beers and it’s a fun mix with mini golf
Jimmy H — Google review
This has a great concept, but the execution has much to be desired. It's just too small a space for everything that they have going. The mini golf is crowded and cramped and not very interesting. You spend more time waiting to play than actually playing. Hubby did however, like the beer selection. Nice local craft beer. This place has also gone to the dogs, you can't walk through without either tripping over a dog or having one stick it's nose where you don't want it! It's a perfectly good place for a local hangout, but definitely not with the drive from Everett.

Zoka Coffee Roasters and Tea Company is a popular spot in downtown Kirkland, offering hand-roasted coffee, delicious baked goods, and tasty sandwiches. The cafe has an eclectic decor and a laptop-friendly environment. Customers have praised the smooth and strong espresso as well as the excellent breakfast sandwich options. Despite occasional wait times due to limited staff, the consistently delightful cappuccinos with oat milk have made Zoka Coffee a favorite among locals and visitors alike.
Great quality drinks and nice service! They also have breakfast sandwiches for ~$9.50 (menu is on the window near the register, overpriced for the size imo but still good). Their staff picks are usually 10/10 if you wanna try something different. I always stop by here whenever I'm in the area :)

Zoka in Kirkland greets you with tons of natural light, plants, and a few art displays—it’s a beautiful sight as you walk in. I tried the mocha, which was good (though not great) and a bit on the pricier side. When I visited on a Sunday morning, the café was busy and filled with chatter. It’s not the quiet Sunday morning vibe some might expect, but more of a lively, social atmosphere. Interestingly, even with the noise, people were still reading, working, or studying—it all felt in harmony. As a local, I grabbed my coffee and walked down to the waterfront to sit by Lake Washington, which was the perfect way to enjoy it. On Sundays, you can usually find free parking in the lot out front or near the waterfront.
Sourabh A — Google review
I recently visited this coffee shop, and while the ambiance was undeniably chic and earthy-cute, it was unfortunately let down by the drinks. The coffee was disappointing—weak and lacked the richness I was hoping for. The tea was no better, and the lattes just missed the mark. The portions felt off, and they weren’t hot enough, which really took away from the experience. It’s a great place for a cozy vibe, but if you’re a coffee or tea lover, you might want to pass on the drinks here.

The service was great, and the staff were friendly. But, wow, the coffee's pricey, and there aren't many seats. Street parking's free, or it's a buck an hour in the lot.

3/10 Drink Quality: Expensive $10 small matcha latte, they don't make it well. Wrong color, tasted bad and not like matcha at all. Vibe: Decent place to work, music is loud so be prepared to listen to theirs but ample seating Wouldn't go back.

today in the morning, my wife and I come through here and we order two coffees in a large cup And the server her name is abbey h give me the coffee in regular paper cup and I told her I order in a large cup crystal coffee and she told me no we don’t have it but is a bunch of cup on top of the counter on blue collar and tea rejected to put me in one of those cop so it’s a bad bad service. That’s what I reporter. we are so disappointed
Jose M — Google review
Food is Okay, with fair price. Service is great. Friendly. Very big place. A lot of tables to chat or work on your own stuff. But the music can be a bit too loud if you are looking for a more mellow place to chill. Hard to park. But that applied to all nearby stores.

There are many coffee places in the Seattle area. Most are mediocre. A lot are bad (looking at you "Char"bucks). Zoka is among the very few outstanding coffee places and I recommend them without hesitation. They roast their own. I know back in the day they used to roast at their Greenlake location and the cafe there smelled wonderful during the day when they did. I like to grab a bag of beans when I stop by. I don't typically order espresso drinks, but when visiting a Zoka cafe at times I'll order a lavender mocha. It's not sugary sweet with just the right amount of lavender flavor & dark cocoa. If you've never had Zoka I recommend that you stop in and give it a try.

The shop's owner, Brian, was inspired to create the establishment after a study abroad trip. Sirena Gelato prides itself on using an old-fashioned Italian recipe to handcraft premium gelato one pan at a time during the warm summer months.
This gelato store is a true gem in Kirkland! I absolutely love coming here—the gelato is always packed with flavor, and the staff are so friendly and welcoming. I’m a regular customer, and the Thai Coconut is hands down my favorite in a cone! Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a sweet treat.

Sirena Gelato’s dark cocoa cone had rich flavor—deep and chocolatey—but a bit lacking in creaminess. Not the smoothest texture, but still satisfying if you’re after bold taste. Nice spot to grab a scoop and stroll—great vibe with shops.

How happy we were in that hot day at Sirena Gelato! Ice creams were so delicious, the shop keeper warmly welcomed us with a smile, we all got the right one for us. Finally he gave a card for a free ice cream at the 10th come back the shop. It’s sure will be back for those free ice creams

This place looks super exciting from the outside but it can be frustrating once you are standing in the queue and for the staff. They have decent flavors but the staff seemed to rush as the queue got longer. We got the turkish coffee which tasted like it had mud on it but the pistachio was decent. Overall left this place a little disappointed with the experience but i can see why this is a hotspot for a lot of folks. Not for me but may give it a try again at a later time.

Nice option to iceream shop. Just wish they had more non dairy (only 2) flavors. Take it for a short walk to the water and enjoy!

Tucked away next to the Starbucks on Kirkland Marina is this gelato shop The gelatos are light and creamy , not too rich but just right for summer I tried the pistachio , hazelnut and chickoo flavors All great Place is very kid friendly , low prices and huge servings

The gelato has just the right texture, with a perfectly balanced sweetness—not overly sugary. I ordered the purple sweet potato and matcha flavors.

Food Quality: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Cleanliness: 5/5 Value: 5/5 Sirena Gelato is a lovely little gelato shop in Kirkland and a great experience! This shop has a good number of flavors and some unique ones! I’ve never had chikoo, which was a flavor offered here. It was flavorful and a good sample to try! I ended up with the Ube and Pandan scoops - they were very generous too! The staff were super nice and did great with answering questions about the gelato and the shop was very well kept. Can’t wait to go back and try more flavors!

Nestled on the picturesque Park Lane in Kirkland, Feast is a chic French brasserie that invites you to indulge in a delightful culinary experience. With its inviting patio and cozy bar area, it's the perfect spot to unwind with a cocktail while savoring an array of delectable dishes. The menu boasts classic French fare, featuring highlights like the rich duck cassoulet and the renowned raclette burger—often hailed as one of Seattle's finest.
Had an exceptional dinner at Feast in Kirkland! The multi-course menu was outstanding, with highlights including the mussels, wild boar tagliatelle, and steelhead. Every dish was beautifully prepared and full of flavor. The bread pudding was absolutely amazing—a must-have dessert. Anthony provided exceptional service, ensuring every detail of the evening was perfect. Highly recommend for a memorable dining experience.

Feast in Kirkland is a great option if you’re craving French cuisine in the area. Located conveniently in downtown Kirkland, it offers plenty of parking options, including free and paid lots, as well as street parking. It’s best to make a reservation, especially on busy days, but walk-ins are also possible if you’re lucky. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating. We opted to sit indoors, and while it was a bit dimly lit, the decor added a charming, romantic atmosphere. If it’s your first time here, I highly recommend going for the 3-course option at the back of the menu. It’s a great way to sample a variety of dishes at a reasonable price. We started with the Pâté De Poulet and Truffles Escargot. Both were delicious and gave an authentic taste of French cuisine, though they might not be for everyone if you’re new to French dishes like pâté and escargot. For our entrees, we had the Seared Duck Breast, Stuffed Quail, and Mussels. While the small plates were impressive, the mains were a bit less so. The duck breast was tender and juicy, but the accompanying veggies and sauce were just okay. The quail was flavorful, and it’s been a while since I’ve had quail in the U.S., but the stuffing felt out of place. The mussels had a nice texture, and although the sauce wasn’t to my taste, it paired well with the bread, and my partner enjoyed it. French cuisine is typically on the pricier side, and Feast is no exception. But the overall experience is still worthwhile, especially with the standout small plates. I’m looking forward to trying their foie gras and onion soup on a future visit. If you’re in the mood for French food in Kirkland, Feast is definitely worth a try, particularly for those looking for a cozy, romantic setting with authentic flavors.

Too bad food. Food looks fine, but the food quality was bad. For 4 people, it was over $300. Not worthy at all. Seems they don't have any professional chef. Worst fine restaurant in Kirkland. Taste were terrible!!! Their drinks were the best Clam pasta - smelly old clams! Pate - seems they made long time ago. Duck breast - paired with weird beans Mushroom risotto - so so. French onion soup - terrible!!!

3.5-4 stars. Had a dinner twice at this place. The last time I ordered Creme brulee, duck cassoulet, escargot, and pate. The dessert was ok.The duck cooked well, but the beans were little oversalted.

The waiter Justin was extremely rude. I ordered a Cuba Libre and was served a basic rum and Coke with a lime wedge. When I asked for it to be corrected, he got an attitude and told me I “got what I ordered” — which I did not. His behavior was dismissive and aggressive, and as a woman, it made me feel unsafe. The display of toxic masculinity was completely unprofessional. I would not recommend this restaurant based on how poorly I was treated.

This place is great. We frequent the sister bar Bottle and Bull and was told by Casey to visit. We were quite pleased. The food was great as well as the service. Similar atmosphere to BnB and we really enjoyed our visit. The Ahi and Filet were amazing. The French onion soup was delicious and the escargot was very well made.

Absolutely STUNNING decor!! They have an excellent list of wines and even better cocktails, there are an array of French brassiere classics to choose from with something for every level foodie. It's a great spot for a date night or celebrating something special. The patio is amazing for the warm summer nights and to enjoy a bottle of wine with light bites or dinner. The location is great and staff is super friendly!

I had higher expectations for feast as it’s one of the higher end restaurants in the area. We spent over $600 on party of 6 ( 4adults and 2 children). Customer service was good, the waiter was forgetting our food couple of times, but when he’s there, he’s very friendly and attentive. The food was ok, not as amazing as we would expect it to be. Would not come back here again for dinner.

Mexican restaurant
Santa Fe Mexican Grill & Cantina in Downtown Kirkland is a popular spot for delicious Mexican cuisine. The restaurant offers a perfect blend of flavors and spices, with dishes like Carne Asada fajitas and Carnitas quesadilla receiving high praise. Guests can enjoy complimentary chips and salsa upon arrival, along with tasty drinks like the spicy mango margarita and house special. The restaurant's location on Lake Street provides a great atmosphere for enjoying margaritas while people-watching.
Went to Santa Fe Mexican Grill Cantina last night! Food: We didn't get any appetizers since they have complimentary chips and I'm glad we didn't because the portion size of the entrées are MASSIVE. The chips were great, but the default salsa they bring out wasn't a hit for me (I wasn't super big on the mango infusion). Later on they brought out a spicier salsa that definitely has a kick to it and we were more of a fan of that one! For our main dishes, my boyfriend got the Santa Fe Burrito with steak and I got the Burrito al Pastor which comes with pork. Both were literally enormous and so so delicious. My burrito was definitely one of the best I have ever had in my life. For dessert we got the churro and it was also really yummy! We almost ordered a second one haha. Service: Service was great! Our server was very kind and he was also pretty fast. He was able to answer all of our questions which was also great. Atmosphere: Cozy and dim-lit interior. I really liked it! I would love to come back here again!

The smoky flavor in their dishes was on point - really gave everything a nice kick. The drinks were massive! Perfect for washing down those flavorful bites. (but overall it's a bit on the pricey side)

I had an amazing experience at Santa Fe Mexican Grill! From the moment I walked in, the service was top-notch. I ordered the Mar y Tierra while standing at the bar—knew exactly what I wanted—and Bryan took my order right away with a friendly smile and efficiency that stood out. Diana, the bartender, was absolutely awesome—super attentive, welcoming, and made the whole experience even better. She really went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. The food was delicious, and the vibe at the bar was great. Highly recommend this spot if you're looking for authentic flavors and fantastic service. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Hit up Santa Fe Grill for dinner on a Friday night. They were busy but we were able to get a table right away. The staff are super responsive and very friendly. I had a Cadillac Margarita w/extra lime. Delicious! Carne Asada tacos were the bomb. So much meat and tender flavorful bites. More expensive than our usual Mexican spot but the food is worth it. Can’t wait to go back again!
C C — Google review
Good margaritas, kind of Texas style which I love. The fajitas are really good, they come out sizzling. Really pricey for what it is, which is a casual Mexican food spot. Pricey even for Kirkland. Got fajitas and one drink and my bill was over $100.
Nicholas C — Google review
tl;dr - Bland, meat-and-cheese heavy "Mexican" food that leans hard on location and alcohol sales. We got an enchilada & tamale combo ($20) and also the Al Pastor burrito ($24). Neither had any depth of flavor. Nothing stood out as freshly made or special in any way, just your standard meat filled flour tortilla concoctions covered with yellow cheese and a red sauce that was mostly tomato with almost no dried/roasted chili flavors. On the combo plate, the rice was inconsistently cooked and lacked any punch, and the beans were just OK. The burrito plate had a small pile of shredded iceberg lettuce and a smattering of pico, i guess to keep things 'fresh'. I get the feeling this place relies on its giant $15 margaritas and other drink options with the food more of a salty side show to accompany the drinks. It seems like a popular spot, I think because of its location and lack of other options. No offense, there just isn't any good mexican food in the area to compete with it. I saw another review claiming the Al Pastor burrito was "one of the best they've ever had" — and honestly, I just feel bad for them if any ol' meat-and-cheese bomb will suffice. I cannot stress enough how disappointingly mediocre the burrito tastes — bland, heavy, and completely lacking the bright, balanced flavors that should define good al pastor. Someone else might enjoy grabbing a drink and meeting with friends, but for me I just can't justify the price of the food compared to its subpar quality and flavor.

Great atmosphere, friendly service, and excellent food. The prices were reasonable as well. All in all, I will definitely be coming back here again next time I'm in Kirkland.

Italian restaurant
Volterra is a chic eatery located just off Lake Washington Blvd, offering upscale Tuscan-inspired Italian cuisine in a warmly lit, rustic setting. The restaurant is known for its neo-contemporary chic ambiance and delicious Tuscan-influenced dishes. With a menu that includes vegetarian options like beet salad and vegan linguine, Volterra also offers happy hour specials that are sure to leave you wanting more. Despite the slightly cramped dining space, the friendly staff works hard to provide excellent service.
I went there with a friend to celebrate my birthday, and the server was so attentive and friendly. My favorite was the pork jowl pasta with mushrooms and Dungeness crab ravioli. This place would be a cute date night place. The place wasn’t crowded as I went during a week day (Wednesday) evening. It doesn’t have parking and you will have to find street parking.

The boar was spectacular! All of the entrees were delicious and well prepared. Tasty bread as well. The interior is a bit tight and a little noisy. The food more than compensates for that shortcoming.

High quality contemporary Italian. The homemade pasta was perfect - as good as the real stuff from Italy (or NYC). Hearty portions and excellent service. Great for dates. Will return!

Really enjoyed the experience overall, friendly, helpful staff, amazing food! I asked for my steak rare and they made sure it was to my liking before leaving us to enjoy the meal. I will be back for sure! Update: Still a great place for food, attentive staff, overall a great experience.

I hope the food quality is not a fluke because it's the best fettuccine I've ever had. I got sausage fet and wife got seafood fettuccine. They're just soo good. We couldn't get a reservation so we showed up around 5pm on a Saturday to get table. Got one close to the bar and got happy hour appetizer too. Totally recommend their fettuccine.

Must dine here to have a gastronomical experience of modern Italian cuisine! Great atmosphere and cozy! Our server was very friendly and explained all the dishes and enjoyed his recommended dishes. Must try their truffles mushroom polenta, lamb meatballs, and for the entree I had halibut with pesto sauce and asparagus. Picture doesn’t do the justice of the flavors and texture of the meal! Dessert: mascarpone lemon custard

Such a delight. Scrumptious food. We had the shrimp fettuccine. Lobster ravioli was a bit well done that it made it chewy but still yummy. Lobster bisque was the standout. Service was quick and welcoming.

Food is very very good. Pictures are some of the dishes: Oxtail dish 10/10 (the one with wide pasta), mushroom pork dish 7/10 (the one with thin noodles), and Wild Boar 9/10 (the one with veggies). The bread is hard. Location is welcoming and clean. Service is average, the waiter was friendly but whispering, talking very fast, difficult to understand.

Chateau Ste. Michelle Winery is a historic and picturesque estate in Washington state, known for its award-winning wines and scenic grounds. Established over 50 years ago, it has played a significant role in putting Washington wine on the national and global map. The winery offers tastings of a variety of wines, including Riesling, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Chenin Blanc, Pinot Gris, as well as reds like Syrah and Grenache.
Chateau Ste. Michelle is such a beautiful winery to visit. The grounds are charming and make for a really enjoyable experience, especially if you’re looking for a fun outdoor activity on the weekend. While the winery itself isn’t huge, it has a cozy and welcoming feel that makes it easy to relax and enjoy your time. The wines are very good, and the setting makes them taste even better. It’s the kind of place where you can sip and take your time without feeling rushed. The atmosphere is definitely one of the highlights—calm, scenic, and perfect for spending a few hours with friends or family. The only downside is that seating can be a bit limited, so it may take a little effort to find a spot, especially on busy days. But overall, it’s a great stop if you’re in the area and want to enjoy good wine in a beautiful setting.

Had an AMAZING experience lunch here yesterday. Would highly recommend. Good was great and so was our host. I also saw goo goo dolls here and loved the venue. They were very organized getting people in and you could bring your own wine purchased onsite. No need a screw top…they have wine barrels with screws inside to help open your bottles. Food choices inside the concert were also great. Overall great venue to spend a couple of days.

I would like to guide you to this beautiful winery. Its been 25 years since I have been here. The fish ponds are empty and the peacocks are gone, however, more activity and people means change. There is a large concert area and a restaurant now...But... the charm remains. Picnic areas, shady tree covered chill out areas and community awaits you. Free to enter, free to park. You must try the wine, order a charcuterie board or put together your own from the little store. Worth the visit.

My absolute favorite outdoor concert venue in the Seattle area during the summer and cozy indoor wine tasting all year long. Amazing events + food, absolutely incredible wine and the best ambiance around!

Ste. Michelle was an amazing wine tasting experience with quite impressive grounds/atmosphere. The whole site is well appointed and beautifully presented. We did a VIP tasting package and had an outstanding experience with our guide Anders. Highly recommend the VIP tasting or just grabbing a glass during a visit. Will be back!

The Chateau Ste. Michelle Winery in Woodinville is a very large sprawling complex of buildings, open spaces and, the reason I went here, an outdoor concerts venue. I can't comment on the inside of the winery as I did not enter any buildings. The outdoor open space is beautiful and kept very well manicured. I went to the concert venue to see Blues Traveler, Spin Doctors and Gin Blossoms play in the middle of August on a day when it was sunny and 89 degrees. There are two entry gates to access the concert venue. The north entry opens right up to the side and front of the stage. The south entry is a few minutes walk to get to the seating area. I went to the north gate entry. For parking, you have to get there when they open the lots up to get good parking. Ideally, you want to park close to the north entry gate. There is ADA parking close to the north gate. Most of the parking spaces are in full sun, so bring a car sun screen for your front window. I got there when the lots opened, so I parked very close to the entry gate and in the shade of a tree. After walking a short distance through the grounds, I waited in a very sunny and hot line to go through security when the gates opened which was about an hour of waiting. There is also an ADA line. Most people brought their short lawn chairs and sat in a shady grassy area where the line would enter. Event security is very helpful and answered all my questions happily as this was my first trip to the winery. There are also many police and bomb squad personnel around the crowd and winery for your safety. Once inside the amphitheater, you pass by the merchandise table to buy concert merch while all sizes of t-shirts and other merch are available; waiting until the end of the concert gives you limited merch to choose from as much merch has been sold by then. My seat was near the back of the reserved seats and came with a high back folding seat already in place and with a great view of the stage. Those who brought low back short lawn chairs sat in the grassy area behind the reserved seats. The venue only seats 4500 people so it is a great small place to watch a concert. Sealed outside water bottles are permitted through security and there are water filling station to refill your bottle when empty. No outside alcohol is allowed. Inside the concert area you can purchase the winery's vintages from tables that also open the bottle for you and supply plastic cups. There are food options available at the back of the concert area with stalls selling BBQ (delicious!), Mexican food (got a small bone in my beef taco), cold ice cream among a few other types of food. The sound system at the concert is very good and powerful; you can actually feel the bass booming through your chest! The concert was absolutely incredible sounding with great views of the raised stage. The slope of the amphitheater is gentle not steep. Buy the reserved seats if you can afford them unless you want to bring a small blanket and picnic basket of food with you sitting in the lawn area. Outside food is permitted through security for your culinary enjoyment. The whole venue is in full sun and can be quite hot until the sun goes down behind the trees. Because the concert area is so relatively small, this place is a great way to enjoy a concert by some big name artists every Summer. I highly recommend coming to watch a concert here.

I went for the wine tasting with a couple of friends. You can make a reservation or walk in if they have available spots. We did the Take Away Flights for $30. The service is great and you get to choose 4 selections from the menu. Here’s my perspective on the different wines we tasted. P.S., I don’t have any professional education with reviewing wines so take it with a grain of salt. 2019 Muscat Canelli - tastes sweet but not as sweet as a dessert wine 2023 Le Rose - tastes dry and watery 2024 Midsummer White - tastes like apricot and beer; too much hoops 2019 Canoe Chardonnay - very nice light Chardonnay; Chardonnay is a drier wine 2018 Cinsaut - my friend said it’s is a good mix of sweet and sour and the other one hated it because she doesn’t like red wine

132nd Square Park, situated between 1-405 and Kirkland, is a lovely spot to unwind and revel in the outdoors. Nestled at the unique address of 132nd Avenue and 132nd Street, this 9.75-acre park boasts well-maintained baseball and soccer fields, a playground with various options for kids, numerous park benches, covered picnic areas, and a paved walking path.

All Kirkland Parks are great but the recent updates to 132nd Square Park has made this park one of our favorites. Lots of grassy areas for toddlers to run around. Great playground for little and big kids. We love the zen walk and foot path for adults too. We even had our son’s first birthday party here!
Kathryn K — Google review
The new updated park is great. Easy parking with multiple picnic shelters. We’ve already been to 2 or 3 birthday parties here. The playground has synthetic turf which is lovely except for the few extra hot days of summer. But there were trees to find shade under. My children love the slide hill and always use cardboard to slide down. And their 2nd favorite is the zip line. It closes at dusk with the gate to the parking lot shut and locked.
Destiney N — Google review
This park has been recently renovated and is probably one of the best around for littles. There are soccer and baseball fields. Nice restrooms with changing tables. Several covered picnic tables and grass areas too. The play area has swings, slides, and climbing areas. It also has a zip line. Not much shade on the play area so come prepared on a sunny day.

Nestled among trees, Cafe Juanita offers a sophisticated dining experience featuring Northern Italian cuisine with a Pacific Northwest twist. Renowned chef Holly Smith, awarded Best Chef Northwest in 2008, showcases her culinary expertise in the elegantly updated midcentury restaurant. The menu boasts innovative dishes like Anderson Valley rack of lamb with bagna cauda sauce and thyme-roasted blackberries, alongside classic housemade pastas and heirloom tomato with burrata.
Love this place. Been here since they had menu where you can order your own dishes. Now they have set menu which I really appreciate, as you get to eat variety and everything is delicious. Would highly recommended. Valet parking $10 pay with your dinner , make sure save some cash to tip for the valet parking guy.

We came to Junita Cafe with high hopes, drawn in by the promise of a refined 7-course experience. While the presentation certainly tries to sell you on a high-end dining affair, the actual food left us underwhelmed—flavors were surprisingly basic and forgettable. For a dinner that came out to nearly $700 for two (only one of us had drinks), we expected something much more elevated in taste and execution. The setting was fine, but the views were nothing to write home about—definitely not enough to justify the price. I wish there had been more honest reviews beforehand that mentioned how flat the food tastes despite all the hype. It feels like a lot of effort went into making it *look* fancy, but the soul and flavor just weren’t there. Disappointing, especially given how excited we were to try it. I think bread was the only thing that was beyond delicious and for a restaurant at this level should t be considered for only bread.
Nikki B — Google review
My wife and I love exploring the fine dining scene in Seattle, LA, and Portland. Cafè Juanita has been on our list for a while, and this year we finally managed to get a reservation around my birthday. My expectations were high given the word of mouth around the spot, and somehow they were still exceeded. Nearly every tasting menu I’ve experienced has a mix of exceptional standouts and less special dishes, but I truly struggle to think of a single course that wasn’t absolutely phenomenal. Things ranged from really good to some of the best dishes I’ve ever tasted anywhere. I think Providence in LA was the last meal I can think of that was the same level of all hits/zero misses on their tasting menu. I genuinely struggle to think of much to critique. The tasting menu is on the more expensive side even for this level of dining. They don’t really have much of a cocktail menu, so I suppose if you’re hoping to experience exceptional mixed drinks you may be disappointed - though their wine selection easily makes up for this. Final thoughts - this was a truly exceptional meal. We will absolutely be back for another special occasion and bring our foodie friends if we can find a reservation when they visit Seattle.

We finally got to try Café Juanita, and it absolutely lived up to the hype. This cozy, intimate spot feels like a hidden gem tucked away in Kirkland — perfect for a special night out. We opted for the tasting menu, and every course was beautifully presented and full of flavor. You can tell the ingredients are seasonal and thoughtfully sourced. One of the unexpected highlights? The bread. They offer a variety — each one soft, warm, and addictively good. You’ll want to ask for seconds! The cocktails were top-notch too, especially the Negroni and a seasonal gin drink that paired perfectly with the appetizers. Every dish felt balanced and refined — from delicate pastas to a standout main course that was both rich and elegant. The service was warm and attentive without being overbearing, and they happily explained each course in detail, which made the experience even more enjoyable. It’s on the pricier side, but absolutely worth it for the quality and overall experience. Highly recommend for anyone looking to treat themselves to a true Italian-inspired tasting menu in a charming, romantic setting. Can’t wait to return.

Good service, okay atmosphere, mediocre food. Appetizers were forgettable. Pasta was too salty (Just go to Bottle & Bull and order their lamb ragu to have a better taste). Mains (sable fish & pork) were okay but you can get it in any $50-per-person-restaurant. Dessert (vanilla panna cotta) was the best thing from the night. In one word, definitely not worth the money. I was recommended to come by a coworker and I need to have a word with her. I thought Canlis was mediocre enough, but I guess you never stop being disappointed by Seattle’s food scene.
Yiwen Z — Google review
Food was really great! Service was meh, and the entire experience wasn’t worth the price. So if you’re local maybe try it once. But way overpriced for what you get.
Joshua M — Google review
I feel like this is a must try place if you’re at all able to. It’s pricey, but seattle doesn’t have many options like it. The service was impeccable and the food was amazing. We were actually more impressed with how the simpler ingredients like the vegetables shined. It’s a great experience for a very special occasion. One thing to check is if you like the flavors incorporated into the menus. There’s 4 different options but you’re likely to experience a lot of the same flavors across different menus and different dishes (ie right now peas are in season so they used those across all menus and lots of dishes were Parmesan and morel mushroom heavy). If you really dislike a certain flavor and it is heavy on all the menus maybe wait a season :) that said I loved the flavors when I went but if someone didn’t they might repeatedly be let down by the various courses. Our reservation was for an early dinner around 5 and it started out quiet and fairly empty and by the time we finished around 8 it was quite busy and a bit louder. We had a wonderful time and will be back to try another season’s menu

Terrible experience tonight. We were so looking forward to this but came out 800 poorer, 3.5 hours water with uninspired, flavorless food and mediocre at best service. Save yourself the poor experience and go elsewhere. Amuse Bouche - too much flavor with caviar in a pastry filled with crème fraiche, would have been good just with the caviar. The halibut was so sad looking and tasteless that I left half of it uneaten, the ibercio was over salted and over cooked. Yes the bread is good and unfortunately the best part of the meal and we didn’t go there for bread. Dessert pics are missing but the panna cotta and strawberry cake were both less than mediocre:( the servers seemed distressed and not happy either, we saw one being told off by someone while she was making a drink, not a good vibe.

Business center
Kirkland Urban is a vibrant open-air shopping center in Kirkland, featuring a diverse mix of retailers, dining options, and services. It is also home to the first-ever Lounge by Top Golf, offering a high-tech gaming experience and an exceptional menu. The complex is just a short walk from downtown Kirkland and boasts popular restaurants like Shake Shack.
Highly recommend the QFC bar, Q20, especially on a nice sunny day. Fun to sit outside, enjoy 20oz micro brews on tap at a reasonable price, and soak up the scenery. They allow you to bring in any food you like from QFC and surrounding restaurants. Very casual and social atmosphere. Sports on TV as well. Servers are super nice and on top of things.

Everything is expensive in this plaza... I think it is just fake hype..so that's why may be so many spaces are Vacant still. The maintenance, parking overview is good, but only drawback is damn expensive..need to work on reducing the price structure
Test S — Google review
It’s a very good place to hang around with the children, family and friends. There are good places to eat and restaurants are there where you can enjoy their music and eat your favorite food and drinks. Shake shack is a very good place where you can get burgers made up of fresh organic meat products and chicken.

When we first heard about this new development, we were very excited as it seemed this plaza would bring more modern shops, but surprisingly; this place didn’t get much of traction. In comparison. Totem lake village which opened almost around the same time I’m not so premium location as Urban got a lot more attention from residence and businesses.. except for Seattle Coffee Gear and Shake Shack, the shops are not very known.

Salon Republic, QFC and various coffee shops are my favorite. This plaza has 4 hrs free parking plus EV charging station. A splash park for kids, playground and a short walk to the library.

Very welcoming server. She was helpful and generous with her time. I joined the DZ Dumpling Club. The steamed vegetable dumplings are delicious. I dined in but ordered food to take home!

Good food at a very decent price. The dumplings and noodles are well-made, and the location is convenient. It’s a great spot for a casual meal. Customer service would've been better overall.

Food was still delicious, but if you seat at the corner of the restaurant, the server can't see you.

Customer Service: Customer service was not the best. The female waiter kept on talking to her co-workers and stayed in the kitchen without checking on us. We had to wait for 20 minutes just to ask for more napkins. Food: Some of the dishes we ordered like Dan Dan noodle and crepe were way too salty.
AD — Google review
I had mostly dismissed this place as a chain restaurant. Which it is, but very well done! It’s in a good location, food is affordable and the service is prompt. I’m not an expert at the cuisine, but loved what we ordered. The kale salad was simple and delicious. The crab meat xiaolongbaos were the bomb.

Always love dough zone. They have tasty dumplings and great tea drinks! Love the quiet and relaxing atmosphere also. We got a seat right away and Food was served quickly. I recommend the pickled cucumbers, the dan dan noodles, and the soup dumplings! Must try! But all their food is tasty!

Always enjoy it when I'm able to go to Dough Zone. Everything tends to be good and tastes fresh. I really enjoyed the spicy beef pancake roll and the sweet spicy garlic sauce that comes with the wontons. Dough Zone is a great spot because just about everyone can find something they will like on the menu.

Pork soup dumplings were delicious. Pumpkin dessert dumplings were interesting. Happy they had steamed broccoli. Plum juice a bit too sweet, probably won't get that again.

American restaurant
Sparrow is an eatery situated close to Cafe Juanita in an unremarkable structure. It places great importance on its cuisine, offering a diverse range of Italian dishes, particularly noodles. However, it identifies itself as serving American Contemporary food. This classification implies a modern twist on traditional American fare. Sparrow can be found in Kirkland's Juanita neighborhood and specializes in contemporary American gastronomy. Apart from the main dining area, they also have a lounge with an impressive selection of cocktails.
From the moment we walked in, it was clear this place is something special. The bartenders are absolute rockstars—not only skilled and knowledgeable but genuinely welcoming. Their craft cocktails were perfectly balanced, creatively presented, and tailored to our tastes without even having to ask. It’s rare to find that kind of intuition behind the bar. The service across the board was impeccable. Attentive without being overbearing, every staff member made us feel like VIPs. Whether it was a quick refill, a thoughtful recommendation, or just their upbeat energy, they elevated the entire experience. The menu is another standout. With specialized food options that cater to a variety of dietary needs and preferences, it’s clear that care and creativity go into every dish. From bold flavors to beautiful presentation, everything we tried was outstanding—and clearly crafted with quality ingredients and attention to detail. If you’re looking for a place that delivers on every level—from drinks and dishes to service and atmosphere—this is it. Truly top-notch. Can’t wait to come back
Laura S — Google review
The back area of the restaurant was cool. Took them a few to get us seated. The bartender saw us waiting and didn't bother to get the hostess. But our server was great. Food was decent. We had brunch. Pricey for what was served. I would like to try dinner though. Fun spot for a girlfriends outing/dinner.
Michelle A — Google review
Food was average, maybe slightly above. I might’ve rated the food five stars however the price to value ratio is slightly off. This restaurant has higher prices than most in the area and the portions are small. Wings were dry and overdone. Deviled eggs were tasty. The pork chop was over sauced. The Caesar salad salad was excellent. However, the staff and ambience made up for it. Our server was fantastic! The back patio is a tranquil setting ideal for a date or business meeting. I definitely recommend a visit.

Thank you for making our experience the best. Chocolate Flourless cake was amazing. The jam and berries made it better. We loved the guajillo chicken. The dish was perfect for 2. Delicious.

Such a cute find! This place is cute and modern with living walls inside and out. They were open for brunch at 11 and is a great spot for girl time, dude time or me time. We were seated on the well appointed and heated patio with nature meets brunch, indoor/outdoor vibe. Ivan was our host and our server and also an absolute delight. Even in a summer downpour, the patio was cozy and cute. We ordered an americano, espresso martini, lamb queso-birria tacos and the brunch board. The tacos were amazing and the brunch board had a little bit of everything. Ivan was serving everyone on the patio but still managed to make us feel attended to! Definitely warrants a second visit.
Sheronita — Google review
It was our first time in Kirkland, and we decided to try Sparrow after seeing all the great reviews—it did not disappoint. The place is stunning both inside and out, and since the weather was perfect, we chose to sit on the patio, which made the experience even more enjoyable. We had the halibut and the duck—both were absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection. For dessert, we shared the banana pudding, which was heavenly. The Negroni and Fancy Feather cocktails were also exceptional. Truly a top-notch dining experience that we’ll remember. Highly recommended!
Gaye D — Google review
First off, Ivan was awesome and very considerate moving people around to avoid the hot sun and still meeting all my requests while doing so. I ordered the Brunch Board and a bottle of mimosa fresh squeezed and bubbly from Flama D’Or cava. The board arrived with fig jam yoghurt sockeye salmon berries prosciutto and deviled eggs and it felt elegant but chill. Staff were warm and chatty and the ambient deer‑moss wall with dim lighting made brunch feel like a cozy Pacific Northwest love letter with a smirk. I left wondering if Kirkland finally got what Seattle feels like.

My wife and I have visited here a few times now. It's the perfect spot for date night. We tried multiple appetizers and they were all delicious. The sweet potato fries are probably the best I've eaten. Could've eaten a bucket of those on my own. Also, if you have dietary restrictions, this place is great because all the stuff on their menu is very clearly labeled.

Cocktail bar
Bottle and Bull is a charming tavern located in downtown Kirkland, inspired by the travels of Ernest Hemingway. The menu features a diverse selection of dishes influenced by the author's favorite destinations such as Havana, Paris, Florence, and Pamplona. The cocktail menu pays homage to Hemingway with drinks like 'A Farewell to Arms' containing tequila blanco, Amontillado sherry, Meletti amaro, and salt.
Great experience! Group of 4, we got three apps, mains, and the bourbon cream pot for dessert. Everything was delicious and our service was perfect. It was a bit too dark in terms of lighting, but other than we really enjoyed our dinner.

I started with the Smoked Beet Salad, which was a perfect balance of savory and sweetness. Then I had the Sockeye Salmon which was so tender and full of flavor. I finished with the Olive Oil Cake, which melts in your mouth. This place is easily going to become a favorite stop of mine.

B&B is one of our favorite local restaurant and bar. Very casual, fun vibe, super friendly staff, and an impressively stocked bar. They offer a nice variety of fun and inventive cocktails. They have a scratch kitchen that makes everything from small plates to salad to full entrees. We often stopped in for late dinner and their lamb sliders are so good. Today we tried their steak frites. Fries were so good, and steak is perfectly cooked, super tender, and flavorful topped with a chimichurri. Located in downtown Kirkland, steps from waterfront and beaches, their food is great and surprisingly reasonably priced. If you haven't been here, put it on your list to try!

Nice little bar to vibe at. Good cocktails, good vibes, moderate energy. Not high energy if you’re looking for rowdy, not super quiet if you’re looking for very little noise, but very pleasant all the same.

The oysters on the half shell drew me in to Bottle and Bull, and they did not disappoint. While we were there we tried a variety of appetizers, each as delicious. The drinks were flowing and the prosecco kept crisp and cold. The street view from outside was nice with a view of the lake. Enjoyed every bit of this dining experience.

Wine bar
Purple Cafe and Wine Bar is a trendy establishment set in a contemporary and relaxed environment, offering sophisticated small dishes and a selection of wines from around the world. This well-established eatery has been serving delectable meals that evoke the essence of wine country since 2001. Guests can savor indulgent yet rustic options such as pasta, chopped salad, baked brie, and calamari amid an ambiance adorned with brick walls, a timbered mezzanine, and extensive shelves displaying Washington wine.
We had a wonderful dinner at Purple Café in Woodinville last night! I took my husband out, and everything from start to finish was excellent. I had the mushroom pappardelle al pesto—rich, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. My husband ordered the free-range chicken Marsala, and he couldn’t stop talking about how good the sauce was. The highlight, as always, was the baked Brie—an absolute must every time I visit. Warm, creamy, and indulgent, it never disappoints. Our server, Dillan, was fantastic—friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. He recommended a glass of Auntsfield Sauvignon Blanc (Marlborough, New Zealand) that paired beautifully with my meal. I’ll definitely be asking for it again. The only downside was the noise—a big party was seated nearby and the music was a bit loud—but even with that, the overall experience was still great, and we will be back!
Suellen S — Google review
We had a nice dinner on Monday evening here. The food was great. We enjoyed happy hour menu-and ordered 2 aperols each. Though they have a great selection of wines here. Some snacks were not clearly noted on menu what they were, but all tasted good. We shared four desserts, tiramisu was probably my favorite but all were delicious.

This was such a fun night out with great food, great service and wonderful ambiance Basil Gimlet 5/5 we’re gonna start with their happy hour cocktail of the night. You can order with with either vodka or gin both were really good but I’d probably say gin has more of a kick. Lovely acidic flavor with the right amount of sweetness Wagyu Bao 6/5 two of us ordered this and hands down was the winner of the night. You HAVE to ordered this, it was exceptional Truffle Frites 5/5 for the table because why the heck not! Great bowl of fries with that truffle flavor, not greasy and perfectly crispy Chicken Marsala 5/5 I HAVE to order the Marsala when I come here and it does not fail. Comfort food at its best, a generous helping of chicken over a bed of creamy potatoes and carrots and then smother with a mushroom Marsala sauce. Delicious Mushroom Pappardelle 5/5 this was made with a kale pesto and was split between two people. It was so nice of the kitchen to split the plate and both parties loved it, especially one who usually doesn’t order pesto pasta absolutely loved it! Sweet Corn & Chanterelle Risotto 4/5 creamy and cheesy and hit the spot! Honestly the only reason I docked a star was it simply didn’t stand out as well as the other dishes but I would 100% recommend if you wanted a nice decadent risotto Chocolate Cheese Cake 5/5 & Tiramisu 5/5 Both desserts were amazing and I was very surprised how beautifully made the chocolate cheesecake was made, not at all cloying and beautifully balanced with the berry coulis. The tiramisu was exactly how a tiramisu is supposed to be soaked lady fingers incased in fluffy sweet cream and enough cocoa on top to stick to your teeth 🤣🤣 ok maybe not that bad, but it was a happy ending to a great night. Shout out to our server Mackenzie she did a wonderful job as did the gentleman who brought out our drinks and checked in on us through out out meal Will be back!
Ash S — Google review
Do not skip the baked Brie! Brunch menu had a nice variety of foods, not just the usual egg-based brunch dishes or cheese plates that most wine bars do. Dog friendly on the patio

Perfect Celebration Spot! We celebrated my daughter’s 30th birthday at Purple Café in Woodinville and it was absolutely perfect! They were wonderful in helping us arrange a dinner for 12, the service was outstanding, and the food was fantastic. Highly recommend for any special occasion!
Kay G — Google review
Purple delivered a very good dining experience. The spicy shrimp and Dungeness crab pasta were rich in flavor, and the wines paired well with the dishes. While the number of vegetarian options has not improved since our last visit in 2022, and the menu remains largely the same, the ambience and vibe make it a great spot for a date.
Maneesh J — Google review
Went to Purple and loved it! We were greeted by several employees and immediately felt welcomed and seen. Service is up to a very high standard, as well as food quality and presentation. The music was a bit loud outside but the seating inside seemed more quiet. The vegan options were delicious and I will be back again to try more menu items. They even had vegan donuts for dessert! My group was a big fan of the baked brie and chicken marsala as well. Highly recommend!

Marina Park Al Locke Pavilion is a charming park and marina located on the picturesque Lake Washington. It offers boat moorage and launch facilities, picnic tables, an amphitheater, and fishing opportunities. Situated within walking distance of downtown Kirkland, it's a popular spot for locals and visitors alike. The park provides stunning northern lake views and plenty of photo opportunities. Visitors can relax by the water, enjoy the sounds of waves and birds, or explore the sculptures on display.
My best friend had his wedding here in July and it was beautiful. A nice gazebo you can rent for events. Tons of spots for good pictures. Marina a short walk from the park. They have a swimming area with a little beach, clean bathrooms, and manicured lawns. Very clean, not a single piece of trash, no questionable people hanging around. Very close to some nice little shops and restaurants. Parking can be a little tight at times but we found spots just fine. Great spot for picnicking or taking a walk, lots of spots to lay in the grass and read or visit friends.

It is also host to Kirkland’s farmers market on Wednesdays, June through September from 3 to 7 PM. There are beautiful views of Lake Washington and you can see all the way over to Sandpoint and downtown Seattle along with several large sculptures.

I really enjoyed my visit to Heritage Park, especially since it was such a pleasant and easy walk from the Kirkland downtown area. The path from downtown takes you through a charming neighborhood with many beautiful houses, and it's a great way to discover the area before arriving at the park. Upon entering, I was greeted by a large grassy field, which would be perfect for a picnic or a game. There's also a big grassy door, which was a unique and fun feature—I had to take a photo of it! The park's trail is well-maintained and winds through the area, with some lovely flowers planted along the sides. I followed the trail down to the lakeside, which offered a tranquil spot to look out over the water. Heritage Park is a great example of how Kirkland seamlessly blends its urban core with beautiful green spaces. It's a peaceful and scenic spot that feels both close to the city and a world away. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a nice stroll and a beautiful place to relax.

Lady Yum - Kirkland is a charming and whimsical establishment that offers an array of macarons in a variety of unique and distinct flavors. Additionally, they provide a selection of wines and champagnes to complement their delightful desserts. Lady Yum is part of the Pacific Northwest franchise, specializing in macarons, champagne, and artisanal gifts. Their extensive range of macaron options has garnered positive reviews from customers who have had the pleasure of trying their delectable treats.
We have been fans of Lady Yum for years. When in downtown Kirkland it's hard not to get some to go...Additionally, I have previously placed bulk orders at the holidays to gift my co-workers and appreciate the store having fairly extended hours allowing for evening pick up! Most recently, we elected to order custom two packs to provide as favors for our wedding. The team was very responsive to our internet inquiry and given our order size was able to accommodate flavor selections not on the current menu along with modified coloring to fit our event specifically! We had custom stickers made which they carefully applied to each 2-pack along with their own ribbons and they looked lovely. Biggest bonus, they provided us with a pastry box of the "overrun" from our order so we got to enjoy a few extra nibbles after all the guests had departed!

Lady Yum is a gem! The shop is stunning, the staff are super friendly, and the macarons are absolutely divine. Highly recommend stopping by for a sweet treat!

This is my most favorite macaron place ever, including places in Paris. We moved from Washington a few years ago, but my husband goes back every so often for work. He recently came home with a pack of these for me and I was so excited. They were just as delicious as I remember! Definitely miss Lady Yum on the east coast!

Spotted the sign in front of the Kirkland shop saying macaron and bubbly for $5... and I was in! So many flavor options. Curated storefront with lots of bottles of bubbly for purchase. What's not to love?! Thanks for a fun, impromptu experience!

Great special, a glass of bubbles and a macaron of your choice for $5. The macarons are so pretty and so tasty you won't get just one.

The customer service blows me away, The macaroons send me to space!! There is no way this place is real, their macaroons blew my mind. And their service is even better, okay maybe not better than the macaroons but close. The macaroons come in so many flavors and were so pretty me and my friend were just taking pictures instead of eating the art! We only chose 4 but the lady behind the counter gave us 2 extra from the "broken" pile. All 6 flavors blew my mind. I'm in love with macaroons! Plus the lady behind the counter was just so friendly and real, like she wasn't just being friendly cause it was her job. For the individual flavors: Ube- like a marshmallow texture and flavor Circus Animal- Exactly like the cookie! Toffee- Beautiful and toffee tasting Raspberry Lychee- Such a unique flavor MUST TRY Unicorn- interesting cookie like but not my favorite Red Velvet- Extremely rich and of course velvety.

Simply does not get better than this. We were wandering downtown Kirkland with the extended family on New Year's Eve and they were open. A couple of guys inside quietly playing music on a cello and a guitar and that was enough for us, knowing that the macaroons would absolutely hit the right spot for dessert. We went in for five and walked out with 25 and wished that we would have gotten more – it is really that good. They are all perfectly done and the variety is truly incredible. In the heart of downtown Kirkland and this is always a must-stop. Love this place

I’ve never tried so tasty macarons until today… Do not even try to compare macarons from Lady Yam with macarons from a grocery store. Macarons from Lady Yam are bigger, more beautiful, more colorful, and tasty variety is vider. Interior is an eclectic of vintage and baroque. Nice and pleasant. By the way, they have sets of macarons in boxes for sale which can be a good gift for any occasion. Parking. Oh, there are some places were you may park your car for free and walk a bit to visit this place.

Thai restaurant
Isarn Thai Soul Kitchen is a trendy and rustic-chic restaurant that offers inventive twists on traditional Thai dishes and cocktails. With locations in Kirkland, Lynnwood, and Seattle, the restaurant showcases authentic Thai cuisine from various regions. The menu features unique and shareable plates inspired by Thai street food, with options for vegetarians as well. Customers praise the delicious food, reasonable prices, and one of the best happy hours in town at Isarn Thai Soul Kitchen.
Food: 5/5 The food was amazing. I ordered the Chiang Mai Noodles — they were sweet and spicy, tangy, and delicious. The crispy egg noodle complements the curry. I also loved the presentation. Additionally, we got the mushroom fritter; I really like the texture, with a soft inside and a crunchy outer shell. It comes with a sweet sauce. If you like mushrooms, I definitely recommend trying them. Service: 4/5 The service was good. Our server checked on us and provided whatever we needed, including water refills, Although there were times where we had to catch their attention to help us. Atmosphere: 5/5 The restaurant was well-lit, and I liked the layout of the tables and the overall vibe — very welcoming and comfortable. Recommend? I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great Thai food. The quality is outstanding and definitely worth the price. I will be coming back for sure!

Thai Isarn Soul Kitchen – Kirkland, Seattle Tucked away in Kirkland, Thai Isarn Soul Kitchen offers a cozy and inviting space that delivers truly authentic Thai flavors. From the moment you walk in, the warm, homey vibe sets the tone for a great meal. We started with the Papaya Salad, which was fresh, tangy, and packed with just the right balance of sweet, sour, and spicy – it really hits the spot. The Wagyu Beef Thai Salad was a standout: juicy, tender beef paired with vibrant herbs and a zingy dressing made it incredibly flavorful. The Grilled Chicken Hat Yai Style was also a solid choice – beautifully marinated and grilled to perfection, with a subtle Southern Thai flair. Overall, everything was tasty, satisfying, and clearly made with care. If you’re craving genuine Thai comfort food in a warm, welcoming setting, this place is definitely worth a visit.

This is one the best Thai food restaurants that I have eaten. We went there 2 times out of the 3 days and will be back again for our next trip. There was not a dish I ordered that I did not like. The dishes I ordered that I liked were - beef salad, crab fried ice, pad see ew with beef, northern Thai sausage, crab curry, southern curry noodle dish, fried mushrooms - well all of them were delicious. They are popular, so there will be a wait, unless you can save your stomach to eat a bit later - after the normal lunch/dinner time - like us, you can just walk in

Happy Hour 3-6 pm. The papaya salad (Som Tum) tastes just like it does in Thailand. All the vegetables are fresh and super crisp, and the service is excellent.

Great food(not the steak tho) good vibe and can see some water view. Usually have a line so if you want to dine here for dinner or the weekend, put your name on their waitlist and take a walk around the lake

I've been here multiple times. The food is always tasty. I've had the seafood curry custard is delicious. The red curry is also good. I got the Tamarind sour, it was okay but way too sweet. They do this dumb thing though, where rice does not come with the curries. You have to order it separate. The staff are nice and the service was good. This place does get loud though, at one point I felt like I was shouting while trying to talk to my friend I was with.

Super chill vibes, amazing food best pad se uw I've ever had. Had to wait a little for our food but it was so worth it. Very nice people, they felt bad for how long we had to wait and we got a free thai tea and it was amazing. I would come again ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

People say prices are high these days, but it’s getting harder and harder to pay for a meal when the cost keeps rising and the quality keeps dropping. More often, I’m left spending money only to end up with a bad experience and a ruined mood. They call it “happy hour,” but the food is terrible. Just like in the photo, the fried chicken had barely any meat on it, which was really upsetting. The noodles were so poorly cooked that I had to eat them with a spoon. I really can’t recommend their happy hour at all — it felt like the only decent thing was the beer. This place has become just another disappointing restaurant. It used to be great, but now it feels like they’re relying on past reputation, with no effort to keep up the quality. It’s sad to see. Service was terrible too.

The center is committed to inspiring artists of all ages and backgrounds by providing a platform for various performing arts such as music, theatre, dance, and film. Amazing bubble man show was amazing! Kids absolutely love it! The kirkland performance center always has great shows and performances all the time. The location is very convenient. You can also park in the The library and walk over here.

Seats are a bit too cramped for comfortable viewing. Lobby is also small, when the crowd gathers during the intermissions, making movement a bit challenging. Washroom for men was also inadequate for the crowd gathering during the shows.

Very cute little venue. Nice venue for a quiet concert. Chairs were comfy and relatively spacious. Parking was a little difficult figuring out the right spot. For parking alone I recommend being there early. Bar inside, relatively expensive drinks. 12 dollar wine. 8 dollar beer but I've paid way more. Staff was mostly kind. If you want in and out access it's better to buy end seats because it's not easy to get in and out with really disturbing people during the show.

The Kirkland Performance Center is a true gem in the heart of downtown Kirkland! With a perfectly sized 394-seat theater, the venue offers intimate yet vibrant experiences that bring the community together. The sound quality and sightlines are fantastic—no seat is more than 40 feet from the stage, ensuring you feel close to the action no matter where you sit. It's not just a place to watch performances; it's a place where people from all walks of life can connect through music, theater, and dance. Highly recommend catching a show here if you're looking for a memorable evening out!

Ice cream shop
Ben & Jerry's is an iconic ice cream parlor chain hailing from Vermont, celebrated for its imaginative and whimsically named flavors. My love affair with this delightful spot began during my first trip to the USA 16 years ago, and it has only grown since then! With a plethora of choices available, you can indulge in everything from classic vanilla to unique concoctions like dulce de lish and salted caramel brownie—an irresistible combination that’s simply divine.
Always tasted great! Their vanilla is always my go to, but then they had dulce de lish and salted caramel brownie. Those two combined, divine! Service was amazing, she let us try both of those before deciding. Great location! Love love love Ben n Jerry's!
Claudia R — Google review
Absolutely the most ridiculous price to pay for ice cream! $5. 79 for the tiniest cup (probably 4 oz) at the Kirkland, WA store last night. You could buy a pint for that in the grocery store. I was looking forward to a small ice cream treat and was so disappointed by the price. Really obscene. Will not go there again. Yes, the ice cream is good, but Ben & Jerry sold out to the corporate system and the consumers lost. (Plus there was a young probably underpaid girl at the counter looking very stressed trying to keep up on a busy Friday night with no help but was very friendly and helpful and fast. I'm sure it will inspire her to go to school and get an education hopefully not in the corporate world.

Thai restaurant
Hanuman Thai Cafe in Kirkland offers a vibrant dining experience with its bright walls and mismatched tables. The restaurant serves Southeast Asian cuisine, including vegetarian options, and provides a selection of beer and wine. Customers can expect quick and friendly service when dining in or ordering takeout. The menu features authentic Thai dishes such as pad see ew and pad Thai with beef, which are well-portioned and flavorful. Despite the casual atmosphere, the food is prepared quickly without compromising on taste.
The pineapple fried rice was really tasty! It has a kick from the curry taste and sweetness from raisins and pineapple chops. Spicy level is also correct (not too sweet like everywhere else), though it was too many brown onion chops, in my opinion. The service was quick and friendly

I ordered from here off of Uber Eats, and man, I’ll definitely be a return customer! The pad Thai was amazing, just the right amount of sauce and veggies. The fresh rolls were packaged perfectly, none of the rice roll ripped. If you’re looking for a solid Thai place, this is it!

After visiting thailand, I finally found a restaurant that reminds me of the awesome food there. The red curry is so flavorful and kapow gai is just like the ones on the streets of Bangkok. Authentic. Really flavorful. The mango sticky rice and thai tea are also so so good.

We ordered pad Thai with beef for take out. The food was prepared quickly, it was pretty tasty and it had a good amount of meat in it. Good amount of food for one person and ok to share for two if not too hungry. The noodles were a little smaller than I’m used to when ordering pad Thai but I still liked them.

Very cozy restaurant, food is good and the portions are very large. I would highly recommend the noodle or rice dishes. We ordered the massaman curry which didn't taste good and came with dry rice. Other than that, the service was good. I would definitely come back again

- small cozy restaurant - We came here on Thursday night around 6pm, and it has one small table for the two of us. The rest of the tables (6 of them) were taken. The waitress greeted us and we sat down, got water and ordered within 5 minutes. The ambiance is quite nice, they play piano music in the background, and people weren't particularly loud. It gives a cozy vibe, which is nice. Hubby ordered green curry and I ordered the yum woon sen salad. Hubby's green curry comes with rice, and it was pretty standard. I enjoyed my salad, it's a bit sour just the way I like it. The bill came out to be around $35 before tip. Even though hubby said this place isn't as good as the two other Thai places in the area, I still had a good time dining in this cozy place.
L — Google review
First time trying as the other Thai restaurant was closing earlier. Had chicken Pad Kee Mao and Hanuman Typhoon (comes with jasmine rice). Both with 5 level spiciness but it felt like it was only 1 level. I like spicy food and I was expecting spicy but unfortunately they are not. The Hanuman Typhoon is flavorful! The Pad Kee Mao was so so. The interior lacks identity, but the service was quick. All in all, it was not bad.

I love the food at this place, we come out here every time we go on our boat in Kirkland. The only reason why I am giving a negative review is that the waitress was so rude, I would never go back. I kept saying thank you, she would not even once respond. She would set our food like it was an inconvenience to her. The man who normally serves is so polite and pleasant, he represented the place well. This lady was just plain rude and mean.

Seafood restaurant
Located on the Lake Washington waterfront, Anthony's HomePort Kirkland is a down-to-earth seafood restaurant that prides itself on serving fresh and locally sourced seafood. Established in 1975, it is the first of many locations throughout Washington, Oregon, and Idaho. The restaurant offers hearty local catches and a picturesque view from the deck at sunset.
The food is very good, and our server was great, but the people helping her were young and not all that great for this high end of a restaurant. They forgot things and got confused, for instance my daughter ordered the crab, and so someone came and gave us a bowl, bib, cracker, etc and then a few minutes later another bus boy came and took it thinking it was dirty dishes. We had to ask the bus boys four times for butter. It was small things, but dinner for three of us was $300, so I expect good service. The atmosphere is okay, but could use updating for sure. My wife and daughter said the crab was very good. I had a$70 steak and it was just so so, but this is a seafood restaurant. Still, it should have been better.
Michael D — Google review
We love this place, and so far it is the best Anthony's we have ever tried. The food was really good and felt fresh. We loved the wild caught salmon and the fish and chips. The crispy calamari was good and the Shaking Beef was excellent. The strawberry desert was delicious The view though was amazing and romantic, definitely contributed to the good atmosphere. There was a lot of elderly people in the restaurant for somehow, but that was not a problem, just a funny observation.
Moaid H — Google review
Great seafood with a beautiful lakeside view. The location is great, near other shops and cages in Kirkland. The food was amazing. The clam chowder was the best I've tried in Seattle. I had the tempura prawns. The tempura batter was not too heavy, the Japanese slaw was amazing and the tartar sauce has so much flavor. Lovely setting and would visit again
Laurence Z — Google review
The staff knows the menu. Great sunset menu pricing. The food can be delicious at times and at other times not quite up to par. The past couple of times the potatoes have been warmed over and stale, kinda cold and not crispy, just old and chewy tasting which is not what one would expect for a $40.00 dinner. Once my steak was overdone. All the other times my steak was great. I have done the sunset dinner meal at least 10 times.
Sasha F — Google review
Pros - I had the Black Cod in miso sauce, my wife had the Cobb Salad. Drinks were perfect, clam chowder was grit free and tasty, the Anthony’s House Salad is a must if you get that option with your meal. This is a waterfront restaurant with limited self parking. So assume you will be paying for valet parking and a premium price for perfectly prepared food and amazing service. We got two of the most affordable dinner items and with tip the two meals cost $125. Steaks on the menu tonight were $41 - $75 each. This is a place to celebrate life. When we are doing that, Anthony’s Home Port is always on the list. Cons - not enough self parking, bathrooms are outside the restaurant and down a hall. Bird poop on the windows detract from the overall experience. Not a ton of “window seating” available.

A great meal with our German club today. Very good service and tasty food. The bread, butter, and Cesar salad were a scrumptious appetizer. The salmon was so fresh and moist. The burnt cream and berry sorbet were delicious desserts.

We ordered several dishes and desserts. The food was good but nothing really stood out. The chairs were dirty and we had to look for clean chairs on other tables. Also, it was my birthday, all we received was a candle on a dessert and a generic congratulations card. Most restaurants go the extra mile with complimentary treats or special touches, but they didn’t. So I wont’t recommend this place for birthdays

We stopped in for Sunday brunch and sat outside. We had the Traditional Irish Breakfast and Shepherd's Pie (gluten free). Both were delicious! The staff was very friendly and the inside was beautiful. This is what a bar is supposed to look like. There is evening live music I have yet to check out. As the night goes on this place gets busy!! We arrived around 7ish on a Saturday night and were able to get a seat no problem. We came for the scotch eggs!! Sooo good made perfectly. Some dinner entrees and drinks were not our favorite and we know not to order them again. I also disliked having to ask for more water. She never looked down to see they needed refilled. But their itish poutine was delish!!
Aurora G — Google review
I have been here a few times, and the Wilde Rover is always a solid choice. I came here on Friday for lunch. I decided I wanted chicken wings. I asked the server for guidance. He recommended I get them with the dry chipotle, garlic rub, and a side of buffalo sauce. This was a great idea, and I was very satisfied. The blue cheese dressing was very thick with blue cheese, and I believe it is house made. It was on point. This place has a great beer selection, and I got a Rye IPA from Machine House Brewery. It was served from a cask, and beer engine.

Friendly service, nice location. My wife loved the bangers and mash; I was less impressed with the cod and chips (batter was too heavy and cakey). Decent beer selection.

Beautiful view, calm, area. nice place to spend your evenings mornings close to nature away from the hustling bustling city. Watch out for duck/ goose poo on the lawn, no restaurants or eating options at walking distance. So if you need snacks for the evening or for kids, carry your own or get take away on the way. Restrooms were closed for some reason.

Such a beautiful place for a walk on a sunny day. We took our dogs along and a throw and sat on the lawn. The views are really good and makes for a good sunset view point. It can get really crowded on weekends, especially when the sun's out. Suggest going on weekdays to have more peace and quiet. Also, dogs must be on leash all the time and cannot enter the water.

I went to enjoy the floating spas.It was nice.It was a bit crowded and there. When people are laying down there's like really nowhere to sit. Anyways, I think when you walk in.There's like a locker area and then when you get in.There's like a woodstove. You can dump water on.It holds like 10 people, but again if people weren't laying down.I'm sure we all could affect.I stayed for maybe fifteen minutes and left. It's kind of hard to stand and there when it's so hot. Not to mention, they said I could jump off the dock into the water but the water's gross. It's a Marina, there's nothing but boats over there. You can see that oil in the water. I would suggest booking it with a group of people you already know.

A walk around Kirkland's Carillon Point is always a treat, offering beautiful views and a wonderfully calm atmosphere. It’s also home to three stellar dining options, and the one I keep coming back to is Como. This Italian gem is a must-try for dinner or drinks in a gorgeous setting.

Beautiful location with exceptional views and dining options. Definitely a great romantic spot to take a date for a sunset stroll and dinner on the water. Great for taking pictures of the marina, water, and landscape with your date or family. We ate at the French restaurant and it was excellent quality of drinks, superb food, great dining, and the views made it even better. I'd definitely recommend bringing a jacket as it can be pretty brisk and chilly. However this was in spring time so plan accordingly. Parking was a bit far away but was free currently, looks like they charge regularly though.

Beautiful view with a blue sea one side and colored sunset on the other side. Relaxing area that allows people to take a walk or jog with their friends and pets. There are restaurants and cafes you can sit and enjoy the view. I am fan of downtown style places and this is one of them.

The boat rentals, private lawns and restaurants all have fantastic views of the water and the marina. Everything is pristinely put together. Make sure you park upstairs instead of the underground. Much more convenient

Very favorite spot for fabulous lake views, other dog walkers, a distant view of the Seattle Skyline and plenty of parking, rest rooms and a children's playground, a beach and shade trees. Beautiful! Safe family park.

A very nice place to relax in the shade of beautiful trees and look at the water surface. Here you can see California poppies (Eschscholzia californica), and Arbutus called madrones or strawberry trees

Such a lovely sweet little park! Relax and enjoy a sunset over Seattle skyline. We usually park on the street and walk the whole waterfront boulevard. Kirkland is a beautiful city!

Beautiful small park to hang out. There isn't much seating but the grass lawn is very comfortable. During summer months you can just sit and watch the sunset and relax and this spot has been a source of many fantastic sunset photographs for me. There is a small picnic area on the right side of the park which sometimes is occupied but thankfully never noisy.

I like the variety here and the grassy hills. The skate park is perfect for younger kids because their isn’t a bowl. Nice walking paths around, decent playground with basketball hoops, and a tennis court. I just didn’t see bathrooms or water fountains around

I work with kids near here, so spend a lot of time in this park. There's a lot of wide open space, great hills, wonderful trees, a skate park and a really beautifully laid-out playground. The playground is very tall, though, which makes me a little anxious whioe watching over a handful of kids. Kids especially love the trees in the autumn - there's a particularly good one that creates the best kinds of piles of leaves!

Little Brother is an industrial counter-serve establishment that offers elevated cuisine made from locally sourced ingredients. They provide a variety of dishes, cocktails, and the option to dine outdoors. One patron enjoyed their breakfast bowl, complimenting its beautiful presentation and consistent flavors of asparagus and salmon. However, they mentioned that the egg was slightly overcooked. The overall execution and service were exceptional, making it a recommended dining experience.
Excellent service, nice airy space. Uniquely tasty selections. The little tables are a bit small, even for just 2 people, but manageable. There are also nice long wooden tables. Not cheap, not also manageable. We'll be back!

Beautiful space and atmosphere in this place. The country loaf tartine was tasty, but a little under seasoned. We also tried the breakfast bowl but it was very soupy and was missing the butternut squash.
Garrett N — Google review
Good food, good ambiance. The smoked salmon tartine was the best as was the orange-ginger juice. The chocolate cake was also yummy! They don't take reservations and you have to order before you can sit.
Nisha J — Google review
Absolutely love the atmosphere here — super high ceilings, tons of natural light, fresh cut flower bouquets, plants galore, and just a great gathering place. Both the bread used for the tartines (suuuuper crispy outside but not heavy) and the gluten-free seeded loaf are fantastic. I always get the poached eggs & herbs tartine, and add goat cheese (which is to die for—creamy and tart and the perfect base for a runny yolk). I’ve only ever had breakfast here, so would definitely love to try some of their lunch and dinner options. One negative: if you’re avoiding dairy and are opting for their cappuccinos or lattes with the house made almond milk instead, it’s not great... The consistency of it is way too watery, and it totally dilutes the flavor of the coffee. I had a cappuccino, my dad had a latte and my mom had a beet-root-latte and all 3 drinks had the same issue (though hers had the best flavor because of the added beets). I’d recommend going for an espresso/drip/cold brew if you’re trying to avoid dairy.

Delicious and hip brunch spot within central Kirkland. Looks like IKEA outfitted the entire building. Pear and prosciutto was amazing. 11/10 would visit again.
Matthew M — Google review
Great place for breakfast/lunch. Both of lattes were well made. We got Early Board and Summer Greens salad. Both were very good. Comapred to similar cafes, this place is a bit on the pricey side though.
G35xSport — Google review
It is a little weird that you have to decide and place your order where you check in before you sit down because this place feels like a cafe that would have table service more than a coffee shop, but I understand how it probably helps with restaurant flow. The food we ordered today was flavorful, magnificently presented and delicious and the space is gorgeous. We ordered the veggie chips too because every table had them. There were many options for all types of dietary needs. And FYI the restaurant got very busy around 11:30am. Restroom was clean.

We went for dinner after out small wedding and got spoiled rotten. Met us with champagne and congratulations. Our waitperson guided us through the menu and gluten free was a breeze. Had roast cauliflower, hummus, root chips appetizers. My meal was clams. Amazing quality and preparation, in a fun funky warm environment.

The french restaurant Le Grand Bistro Americain offers a scenic view of Lake Washington from its patio seating. The restaurant specializes in Gallic fare and charcuterie, and serves up all the classics with precision. The service was attentive and the ingredients were of high quality, making this spot a great choice for a delicious meal.
This place is so charming, great for a date night or go out with friends. It is calm and not too loud. The food is amazing, we tried some of their dishes, and a dessert. Everything was so tasty and balanced. Their wine selection is great. The chicken... oh my oh my, amazing!! I have zero complaints. We will come back soon.

The BEST restaurant in the area. The food was amazing, the bartender served the perfect Old Fashioned and the hostess and waitresses were incredible! Very attentive service and delicious food for a reasonable price. If you’re in the Lake Washington area, Le Grand is the place to eat and relax. The patio is a must for fresh air, a beautiful sunset and gazing at the grandiose yachts in the marina. Only in the area for a week but will be visiting for a third time tomorrow. It’s just that great!

Daniel was our server who was awesome. Extremely friendly and came with great recommendations. Restaurant was loud but that’s due to how busy it was. Good food and drinks. Was there for brunch and eggs Benedict did not disappoint. Egg was cooked with perfection. I loved their potatoes, right about of seasoning and crunch. Portions sizes were perfect. They do make really good lattes but their espresso Martinis so far the best I have had in Kirkland. Overall very clean restaurant, great service and view of the lake.

Went here to celebrate my birthday and LOVED it. Ordered the duck hash, while my sister ordered the French toast and we shared a French onion soup. The food tasted wonderful and came in a timely manner. The views inside were also great and the atmosphere is very peaceful.

The waiter was excellent—attentive, friendly, and very careful about accommodating allergies in our group. Unfortunately, the rest of the experience fell short. We were given the wrong order twice and were overcharged for someone else’s plate. For the price, the food was mediocre at best. The highlight of the visit was the beautiful patio view on a sunny day.
Sandy C — Google review
Good food, nice view, and great services. The coffee is too sweet for me though, so I will order a regular latte next time. It is a little pricey but for the view it is worth it.

The view is my favorite, I like that there’s lots of parking available, I went once and the service was amazing. Second time I went the server was hard to find it might have been because we sat outside vs inside like the first time . Boeuf Bourguignon Is delicious. We also had a peach burrata salad that was tasty. The avocado toast and eggs Benedict also recommend (: this was a soup they had and the breakfast americain

**Beautiful View, Disappointing Experience** Le Grand Bistro boasts an absolutely stunning location right off the water, and I have to admit the view is hard to beat. On a beautiful day, there are few places I'd rather sit and enjoy a meal - the setting truly is spectacular. Unfortunately, our recent visit was marred by service issues that completely overshadowed the gorgeous scenery. We arrived promptly for our 5:30pm reservation to find the restaurant sparsely populated with only a few occupied tables. Despite the light crowd, we endured an inexcusable hour and fifteen minutes from the time we placed our order until our food finally arrived. Our orders weren't complicated - steak, salad, and a burger - dishes that any competent kitchen should be able to execute efficiently. What made the delay even more frustrating was the complete lack of communication from our server. While initially attentive, he seemed to disappear for long stretches, offering no explanation for the delay, no updates on when we might expect our food, and no acknowledgment of the extended wait time. To add insult to injury, the checks were completely messed up at the end of the evening, capping off an already disappointing experience. While I genuinely love the waterfront setting and atmosphere, the poor service has unfortunately soured me on returning to Le Grand Bistro. With so many excellent restaurants in the area that can deliver both great food and professional service, I simply can't justify subjecting myself to this type of treatment again. The view may be beautiful, but it's not worth the frustration.

Dakshin South Indian Bistro, located in downtown Kirkland, offers a variety of South Indian dishes with a focus on rich and exotic spices as well as locally sourced seasonal produce. While primarily a take-out spot, there are also a few tables available for guests to enjoy their meals. The menu features items such as dosas with sambhar and chutney, egg curry, goat curry, and idly.
Oh my god we are pigs. Ordered butter chicken, malai kofta, mysore dosa, spicy dosa, manchurian chicken, samosas, mango lassis(lassi was super delish). Everything was great. I cant wait to dine in to try the thali and eat fresh dosa! Hadnt had southern Indian food in ages, woke the tastebuds up. Employees are super polite and helpful.

Delicious Indian food, big portions for a reasonable price, and absolutely LOVELY service. One of the employees noticed how we were sitting in a bit of a cramped fashion and offered to give us more space, and then later on noticed we might need extra plates and offered us some. The service was so attentive and considerate, even though the restaurant was already quite busy. Would recommend it and want to give out this shout out to the Dakshin service!
Sarah L — Google review
Great, flavorful food with many vegetarian options, and the service was fast and friendly. I ordered for multiple people, and we all enjoyed our food. The Chicken Manchurian is a little spicy, so people who are sensitive to spiciness should be aware. The Malai Kofta has a creamy, savory flavor; I would definitely order it again. I really liked the paratha and rasmalai in particular. The latter had a unique, refreshing flavor and wasn't overwhelmingly sweet. The other two dishes pictured are goat curry and lamb curry.
Kathleen S — Google review
Haven’t been to too much Indian restaurant before. The curry lamb is good. The crepe (dosa) is not as expected. The complementary tea is definitely worth a try, I love that tea with sugar! (Regarding the crepe, previously I had thicker and hotter pancake in other Indian restaurants. Would appreciate that if anyone could point out what’s that called. Thanks!)

We ordered chilli chicken Manchurian ,chettinad chicken parota , chicken wrap dosa Chicken wrap dosa was provided with kuruma and raita when I ask then sambar for chicken dosa they said chicken dosa won't go well with sambar and refused to give , I feel that when i asked they should at least have give me sambar respecting my request whether it goes well or not and don't like the way they refused. Chicken used in chettinad chicken for parota and chicken wrap dosa was not at all good it taste like as if they got very old. Basically I can't enjoy eating food in this restaurant today. They have variety of authentic menu items , they can be served better if they improve their quality of food

I have been coming here over the past year. It's a small little place in a square mall in Kirkland. There is plenty of parking space available. They have about 10 tables. The ambiance isn't much, but that's okay! Come here for the food. They serve South Indian preparations. They have some of the better sambar I have had in the US. The dosas are always fresh. Do try their idly vada combo also. We have also tried different curries here. Would recommend the chicken and goat curry. Both have coconut based curries and subtle spices. The meat combos are a really good deal. You get a curry with rice and raita, and you get one side of either idlys, plain dosa, idiyappam, parantha etc. the service is quick too. You basically order at the counter and they will then call out your order. They have complimentary tea and coffee and I have always enjoyed those while waiting for food. It's not a fancy place by any means. The only reason I keep coming back is for food. And that for me is enough reason to keep coming! Try these guys for their authentic South Indian preparations, ditch the butter chicken once, trust me!!
Dhanashree A — Google review
You can't go wrong with this place. One of the best south indian food in the area. My go-to dish here is egg curry(one of the best), Mangalorean chicken, goat curry. Not to be missed - Brunch thali over the weekend, worth every penny. Surprise gift- Chicken biryani, which is available only on certain special days and its amazing, so flavorful and very different than any other biryani restaurants out there. Do try it when its available you won't regret.

What an amazing authentic little place! For every Indian in Seattle who wants to have some genuine no-nonsense South Indian fare, I would recommend driving up to this place. We went there on a Sunday so had a $13 brunch which had idli, vada, Masala dosa, sheera and pongal. Tea and filter coffee is unlimited and free. The guy at the billing counter was really soft spoken and served with a smile. It is self service and quick , but don't go expecting a restaurant vibe. Just go there expecting some real South indian food :)

COMO is a spacious Italian restaurant with a Mediterranean ambiance, offering Lombardian-inspired pizzas and pastas along with a selection of wines. Situated in Carillon Point, it provides stunning views of Lake Washington through its floor-to-ceiling windows, making it an ideal spot for a relaxing evening or a romantic date night. The menu features signature dishes such as crispy artichokes, handmade pasta, and shareable pizzas. Guests have praised the food, service, and waterfront atmosphere as exceptional.
I loved the stunning views of Lake Washington from this spot. The food was delicious—I ordered the salmon, grilled octopus, and a refreshing spritz drink, all of which were perfectly prepared. The service was excellent, with attentive and friendly staff enhancing the dining experience. Another bonus is that they validate parking, making it even more convenient to enjoy the meal without worrying about extra costs. Overall, it was a fantastic experience with great food, service, and a beautiful setting. I highly recommend it for a memorable dining outing.
Praneet R — Google review
Well, the restaurant is highly recommended by a good friend. I’m not sure if they don’t have much choice, but it seems like they have really good restaurants in Bellevue so I was kind of surprised when they highly recommended it. I mean, I was surprised after dinner. Dinner was just OK, a little better than average. Not great. We had many of the starters, including the Dungeness crab salad. (it first came without the crab and we had to send it back.), Christine’s with cheese, focaccia (not warm or fresh tasting), baked spinach(very good) , chickpea salad (very good), carpaccio (OK but wouldn’t order again) We went on two pasta dishes, the boor (which was recommended, but too heavy for my taste), and the tagliarini with spot prawns (good taste, but way too few prawns) We finished with dessert of the crostata de pere (delicious pear, delicacy with a hard crust), and the ricotta pistachio cake. (which was also really amazing.) Also had halibut en papillote, and pea soup appetizer (soup was excellent, fish was overcooked) So on the Whole, service was a bit slow, but good, appetizers and entrées were overrated, and dessert was underrated. I can see why people like it, the setting is just gorgeous, overlooking a marina on a lake. Windows are open and you get the fresh breeze the whole time you’re there. Fantastic location! Good luck with the food

Food was incredible! We had the burrata appetizer, the truffle butter pasta and a sausage risotto. So good! The views were beautiful, breeze inside was nice. The service was slow, relaxed atmosphere, but also not super fast to offer drink refills or to check on table (just 2 of us), though very friendly. Parking is validated for 2 hours and we had to pay a little extra because we were over the time, felt like a longer dinner than we anticipated. Total bill with 1 appetizer, 2 pastas, bread and a soda (no other drinks) was about $120 with tip.

A nice, beautiful, comfortable, cozy restaurant with a simple menu. It's a bit noisy, but for such a level of establishment it's normal and even has some charm of its own.We had a reservation for 8:00, we sat down somewhere around 8:15-820, ordered food, they brought it to us somewhere around 8:45, that is, you don’t have to wait very long, the waiters are all quite courteous and polite. I was with my wife celebrating a birthday, we ordered fried vegetables and steak and also prosek and tiramisu and all this cost us 200 dollars including tips, which I think is pretty good. As for the food, the food was really tasty, I haven't eaten such tasty vegetables for a long time, the steak was a very good piece, it's worth it.I think that in summer the weather is good considering that they have a veranda, this is a super nice option for a dinner.
Ilia P — Google review
COMO is another example of how Seattle’s dining scene is lacking as it offers an average experience therefore it’s always extremely packed. The food is a bit of a hit or miss, it lacks consistency. I had incredible things that were honestly to die for (like the Short Ribs, just amazing) and others that I didn’t even want to finish (the butter truffle ravioli was just not tasty and the ricotta and pistachio cake were too sweet without the proper texture. As a lot of people point out, service can be slow and food can take a while, our waiter was super friendly though. The atmosphere is incredible, the light, furniture, the view, that is worth it. We spent $130 with 1 glass of wine, 1 drink, 1 starter, 2 mains and 1 dessert. Would I go again? Maybe. Not the best Italian, not the worst. It’s just Seattle being Seattle.
Henrique G — Google review
This is a nice beautiful place to spend time. But the food is not that perfect. Especially for Italian menu. Atmosphere is great and also the view with the vibe. The food can be better. The truffle pizza was delicious but fried squash blossoms were so oily and tasteless. Little disappointed. And the service little slow. We had 3 times missed and brought incorrect food and drink. Overall it’s ok place but I think it’s little overrated.
Anastasiia S — Google review
came here for lunch and it was pretty filling. Such an exquisite view of the lake too! 🏞⚓️. The food was better than I expected and I was already half full after the appetizer haha. The only con is that it can get crowded and loud and the tables and balcony are not on a first come first serve basis.

I was a guest of the hotel and ventured to Como for dinner on a rainy Sunday. I asked to be seated at the bar. The bar has 12 seats. The bar was not packed. 2 other patrons who were together. After being ignored for 5 min by the bartender. He finally ambled over to take a drink order. I ordered a Hugo Spritz. i watched him make the drink. It was a watered down disaster with brown mint and no flavor. i asked for recommendations on the menu which he couldn't really articulate what was good. i ordered the gem salad and bucatini amatriciana. The salad is huge with tasteless dressing, dates, prosciutto and gorgonzola. 3 small pieces of prosciutto, old dates and no gorgonzola. The bucatini arrived. The pasta was overcooked with a tomato paste sauce. No guacinale or calabrian chilis as mentioned. I requested the wine list 3 times to order a glass of red to go with the pasta. The bartender Antonio was too busy bragging about managing Barolo a restsuarant in Seattle. I have dined at Barolo and it is a great restaurant but he obviously was let go for poor service and why he is the bartender at “the spaghetti factory of the Eastside.” Como do better. Hire better.

BeachHouse bar + grill is a casual waterfront dining spot offering a variety of burgers, sandwiches, and local seafood, as well as weekend brunch. Located in Kirkland with stunning views of Lake Washington, it's known for its SoCal beach vibe and relaxed atmosphere. The restaurant is popular for its twisted mac n cheese and offers a lovely view overlooking the water.
We went to Beach House Bar and Grill as a group of 15 for a small get-together, and it was such a lovely experience. The staff were incredibly kind and accommodating, making sure we were comfortable throughout. Since it was a special occasion, they even surprised us with a complimentary bottle of champagne to share.. such a thoughtful touch. The food was spot on and loved by everyone. Portions were generous, and everything was served fresh and flavorful. Being right on the waterfront made it even more memorable, we enjoyed stepping out to take some beautiful pictures by the water. Highly recommend for both the food and the vibe!

The panoramic views of the water, with the golden hues of the fading sun reflecting off the surface, make this spot ideal for a relaxed evening out. The open-air seating, gentle breeze, and soothing sounds of the waves create an unbeatable ambience—perfect for romantic dates or casual gatherings with friends. While the food is nothing extraordinary (think standard bar fare—burgers, fried apps, and grilled seafood that lack standout flavor), the cocktails are Well-crafted and reasonably priced, they pair perfectly with the serene surroundings.

The service is OK, the scenery is great, you can sit outside and watch the sunset while eating. I like it very much and will come back. It is very suitable for gatherings with friends and dates. It is just difficult to park.

100% would go back. We ate on the water and the seafood was all very fresh and delicious! Our waitress was absolutely outstanding as well. Very relaxed atmosphere. Would definitely go back

Unfortunately we checked out the menu on their website before coming and decided on items they didn’t have on the menu in the restaurant. You think you’re safe when you go directly to the site vs. Google/ Yelp pics haha not in this case. This is the only reason for 4 stars. Hope this inspires the owners to keep up with these things that may “not matter” I know this makes it harder for the servers. Food was good! We only got a few apps because the items we went out of our way for were no longer available. Service was great! We went right they opened and everyone was very sweet and attentive. Atmosphere was great as well! I love this type of decor and felt super comfy. It was very cold for us (from Hawaii :p) and where we sat they had a door open to the lake. The bathrooms are up a set of stairs and I’m not 100% sure if there is an accessible friendly option but! Check them out, so cute!

Food : the food was great! I went with my grandma and we ordered almost every item from their happy hour menu and shared it. The food came out really fast. It was hot and fresh. Everything tasted great. Service : the server was ok. Fast which is great but not interaction unless you flagged him down. Atmosphere: the water view is great. Do make sure to book a reservation in advance. It fills up fast. Also, parking is very limited.

Never disappoints. The view is amazing. Our server (who rocks short bangs) is always perfect! Burger was great and perfectly cooked and the turkey sandwich was also great! We parked the boat and walked up for lunch and it was a great part of the day!
