Grand Teton Mall

4.1
(4580)
Shopping mall
Nestled in Idaho Falls, the Grand Teton Mall has been a beloved shopping destination since 1984. This vibrant hub offers an impressive mix of department stores and local shops, catering to all your retail needs—from trendy clothing and accessories to home goods and electronics. While it may not be as expansive as larger city malls, its charm lies in its well-maintained environment featuring beautiful tile work and clean facilities.
Easy way to pass some time. Has a little bit of everything. Really enjoy the entertainment mart. Good prices and really nice people
Brandon Y — Google review
I hope this mall stays around for a while! It's been good to see it lively on the weekends over the last few years. Compared to many other malls from the same era, this is in very good condition and many places seem to do well. This is a great place to walk around, even though it isn't the biggest mall. In the winter, this place can make you feel a little more sane after months of snow and freezing winds and hardly any sign of life outside. It feels safe and family-friendly.
Susanna M — Google review
This is a really good mall for the size of Idaho Falls. They have a lot of well known stores. It's especially fun to just go walk around when the weather is bad. There are big bathrooms that are normally pretty clean. There are little ride on cars and horses for the kids. There's also a small play area with a few things for the kids to climb on. Unlike other malls, there aren't very many food options. There's a Jamba Juice, pretzel maker, and a rolled ice cream place.
Kayli F — Google review
Was surprised when I arrived at 10:30 and found all stores except Barnes and Noble didn't open until 11am. The last time I visited the mall was christmas and everything was in full swing. I had come in to pickup order at "Bath and Body Works" and needed to wait for 30 minutes to get it.
Hank H — Google review
I was so excited to visit Mall! They tore down Mall in my town 😭 I guess Malls might be becoming a thing of the pass? I was actually looking for a Good sports apparel shop. Yay...they have one. Thanks for making my day. Always nice to find what your looking for!
Patricia — Google review
Clean and stocked. This is an active mall with lots of shops. Lots of people... Just what you think a mall should have. Sure the stores are smaller than big city counterparts, but sized well for Idaho Falls. Beautiful tile work, and well maintained bathrooms. Food court well, im picky and found Jamba Juice just a bit outside the court area.
Jeff L — Google review
The food was good, but the salsa was a little thin. Shout-out to Kenion for great service! I wish I could give a more in-depth analysis of the Grande Chimichanga, but my wife and I filled up on the chips and dip.
Isaac O — Google review
Really enjoyed it here! The massage chairs were amazing and the pretzels might just be the best thing I have ever eaten. They also had an absolutely amazing selection of books.

Cafe
Breakfast restaurant
If you're in Idaho Falls and craving a cozy breakfast or lunch, North Hi-Way Cafe is the place to be. This unpretentious roadside joint has been serving up hearty American favorites for years, making it a local favorite. The menu features classic dishes like Broasted Chicken, Roast Beef Sandwich, French Toast, Chicken Fried Steak, and the Classic Chili Cheese Burger. As the oldest continually running cafe in Idaho, they have perfected their offerings over time.
The food here was amazing!!! Typically my family is loud at meals, but the food was so good, we spent our time eating instead of talking. Our waitress was very accommodating. It is a small space, but very cozy. The decorations are so fun! Thank you for the wonderful meal! I would recommend the club burger anytime!

Billed as the oldest continuously operating cafe in Idaho, It’s a classic diner with great service and great food. I had the Hi- way Hash and it was just what I needed. It’s definitely a favorite as it’s packed with locals and the servers seem to know everyone. They even offered a donut instead of toast! I don’t think that’s a regular thing, but it was going on the morning I was there. Definitely stop by. It’s a classic diner that’s a class act.

Unexpected and delightful find in Idaho falls. Traveling through and looking for an easy stop for lunch with our travel trailer in tow. Plenty of curb street parking for longer rigs like ours. Classic diner vibe. Rodeo upholstery on chair backs and booths. When we walked in it was crowded and staff was trying to catch up with turn over at tables. We had a choice of tables and they cleaned it up for us pretty quick. Also had option to sit at the counter. Staff was super friendly too. BEST burger we’ve had in a while. Buns and patties are made fresh, fries are hand cut, and onion rings have a light coating. They partner with a local bakery and offer a pre packed bakery box of goodies Saturdays and Sundays so we got one to go. They also are involved in the community and are helping support the local food bank by helping with a raffle to benefit. Feel lucky to have found this gem of a place.
Deanna P — Google review
Local diner that specializes in food that will probably slowly kill you but know that you will die happy. Huge portions of comfort food. Staff is as local as the shop - ambiance is local diner, emphasis on local. Big menu - everything good - tried and proven. A sign says it all - this place came through the great depression, WW2, and COVID. That doesn't happen unless you are doing it right. They are. Highly recommend.
Anthony P — Google review
Such nice people, the food was great, the service was good, it did take a little long to get the food but it was worth the wait

The big biscuit was the best biscuit I've ever had and try to get Christine as your waitress because she's the best waitress I've ever had, the food was scrumptious and pretty cheap compared to other restaurants and the sherbet ice cream is the best in Idaho Fall's
Wyatt — Google review
Stopped for some breakfast - large portions- great service. Has an operational rotating sign !
Paul P — Google review
Please get an upgrade like bar rescue status. You can still keep the comfort vibes! Sat at the cafe bar, old lady behind calling us “kids” was super endearing, until she checked in after ten minutes and told us time was up. Awkwardly ordered haha. She also left to tend to her garden when weather picked up (overheard) and left our toast in the toaster which was in view haha. Can’t complain too much if you know you’re getting shitty breakfast, but damn they pride themselves on being around forever which is totally part of the charm but some details were outright unpleasant for any human paying for a meal.

Japanese Friendship Garden

4.7
(2179)
Park
The Japanese Friendship Garden is a serene and picturesque park located on a rocky island in the Snake River, at the heart of Idaho Falls. It holds historical significance as it was the site of Eastern Idaho's first bridge across the river. The garden was established to commemorate thirty years of friendship with Tokai-Mura, Idaho Falls' sister city in Japan, and to promote global camaraderie. This traditional Japanese-style garden features winding paths, water elements, and a pagoda.
Absolutely beautiful place. We enjoyed the afternoon here taking family pictures. There's no cost - if you're in town I'd definitely recommend a visit.
Scott F — Google review
My family stopped in Idaho Falls in our way up to Glacier National Park. We walked our pups along the greenbelt and came across the garden. It was a pleasantly peaceful place where we saw people stop and listen to the falls. My pups took a dip in the little pools by the step stones leading across a small waterfall. We saw a marmot along the bank sitting on a rock. It just watched us as we walked over the bridge.
Cynthia M — Google review
Urban oasis along Snake River greenbelt, under a bridge, near Idaho power plant. It’s a beautiful garden, well maintained. A great place to feel the solitude just listening to the water falls.
Susan D — Google review
It is a lovely garden, filled with beautiful plants and different kinds of pathways, from stepping stones over water, to rock steps, to wooden platforms. Worthy of a stop and time spent.

The Museum of Idaho, established in 2003, is housed in a historic building that was once a public library built in 1898. The museum showcases the history and culture of Idaho through engaging exhibits on science, regional history, and archives. Visitors can explore collections covering paleontology, archaeology, geology, and the history of Idaho's native inhabitants and 19th-century settlers.
Excellent museum for the size of Idaho Falls. Covers natural history back to the dinosaur ages and the geology. Covers people history from the Native Americans through the founding of Idaho into a few decades ago. Has a darkened street on the first level with about 8 businesses from over 100 years ago making you feel like you’re back in time. Including the rotating exhibit - took us over 2 hours. Has several interactive areas for kids ranging from shoot the mammoth to a play area as if you’d lived 100 years ago.
Dave C — Google review
The museum is full of history, it is very exciting to take the children and show them the history. The wax sculpture of the mammoth is so real, there are agricultural stations and a small demonstration of a police station, barber shop, tailor shop, candy store, among others.

Pretty cool place for those (such as myself) that like history.....if you're in the area, it's worth a couple hours to take in all the information.....all it sets you back is $20....less for seniors/children etc.

They have ways to keep you engaged on learning. Staff was eager to tell me about important women figures in Idahos history. It was refreshing to see staff there who genuinely enjoy their job. I've seen a few of their exhibits and I was never disappointed from my experience there. There is nothing only a great amount of respect for the history but the science as well.

They have the mummies of the world exhibit going on right now and it’s absolutely amazing. The museum itself is a pretty good size and so many different rooms. Lots for kids to do and see. I absolutely recommend going.

Park
Tautphaus Park, located in Idaho Falls, is a spacious and historic park with a variety of attractions. It offers playgrounds, picnic areas, ball fields, shelters, and restrooms. The park features baseball diamonds, sheltered picnic spots, and ample green space for outdoor activities. Additionally, visitors can enjoy the skatepark and an ice rink during winter. Tautphaus Park is also home to a zoo and various rides for children.
Such a cute zoo that is totally doable in a bout 90 mins. Kid friendly, stroller friendly, great location. They have ably 7 acres of animals located by a park. The enclosures are wel kept. The animals were very active as I went first thing in the morning. The staff were friendly and eager to share facts about the animals. There were lots of baby animals too!! It was a great little stop!!!
Kim T — Google review
wonderful park for families! lawn space and picnic tables for relaxing, a playground for kids, and a skatepark for those interested. It is difficult to get to the playground with strollers/wagons/wheelchairs because there is no path so you have to go over the lawn. It’s manageable to push a stroller or pull a wagon but I imagine a wheelchair would be extremely difficult. Early spring is a good time to visit because it doesn’t smell like animal feces from the nearby zoo yet.
Corinne M — Google review
Great, affordable place to take the family. Large selection of interesting animals. Animals look well care for. Walkways are mostly shady. Some habitats are plain but in good shape. Look for the 500lb tortoise! He's awesome.
Stefanie C — Google review
Great experience for the family. Wheelchair accessible with rentals for wheelchairs and wagons for kids. The lion was not there and didn’t see the snow leopard but the Tiger was out, the sloth bears were playing and the red pandas were enjoying their enrichments. There is a petting zoo for goats and various bird’s to view. Snack area was closed but they have a small gift shop. Lots of monkeys and Lamar’s to see as well. Great price for what’s available.

Excellent local zoo. Has the feel of a bigger city venue. Up close views. Quality clean environment. Highly recommend! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I love walking around in the mature trees. It is so peaceful.
Cynthia P — Google review
One of my favorite parks ever. I walked this part daily with my dog for the last 15 and 20 years. Great Park, well kept by the maintenance crew. They have a huge playland for kids, +2 other smaller play lands throughout the park. Three or four big shelter areas for large events, Beautiful tennis courts that were just redone this summer. Beautiful place to walk with tons of trees, the fall colors are beautiful in this park. There's a fun land where they have three or four amusement park type rides for kids. I believe that's only open in the summer. It has a creek running through it, a hockey rink in the winter. And one of the best things, the zoo is located in the park. Such an incredible zoo for such a small town. The Idaho Falls parks and Rex does wonders with this park.

Diner
Franklin's Famous Cheesesteak Company in Idaho Falls is known for serving the best Philly Cheesesteak. The bistro offers a diverse menu, including Captain Crunch Encrusted French Toast and Mediterranean Omelet, catering to breakfast lovers. Visitors praise the attentive staff and extensive game room, making it an ideal spot for gatherings. Customers have enjoyed items like the Bacon and Blue Cheese Burger and Montana Mushroom Philly, with particular praise for the flavorful Cajun-seasoned fries.
You would have to be crazy to eat anywhere else but here. This was far and beyond the best cheesesteak I've ordered from a restaurant. They didn't skimp on any aspect of the sandwich. I wish I was closer so it could be a regular destination. The fries were very delicious and clearly handcut/handmade. Everything at the restaurant far exceeded the new "normal" quality of food expected at restaurants. The staff was very friendly and happy to recommend their favorites. Everyone, even those in the kitchen, had smiles on their faces and seemed to be very happy with what they were doing.
Ridge M — Google review
So I was down the street filling up with fuel and searched for a hamburger near me and this place came up. I actually got the Philly steak with fries and it was really good the fries were good as well. Really fun decor and definitely a little hole in the wall shop with great staff that deserves a visit!
Chris H — Google review
We were craving hot dogs and this restaurant came up. The employee that took our order was incredible. They were patient and took the time to answer questions I had. The decor here is patriotic. This restaurant has a very laid back atmosphere. Perfect for families wanting a relaxing time. There is plenty of seating. The Chicago Dog was so tender and juicy. It literally melted in my mouth. The Chicago Dog was bursting with flavor. The bun came with poppy seeds, which got a bit messy. I enjoyed the order of fries. They tasted homemade, which I loved. I believe those are the best kind of fries. The order of fries came with a dipping sauce. I was unable to make out the ingredients but there was a small hint of spice. The kids mac and cheese was perfect for my daughter. Once again this tasted like they made it in house. So cheesy and creamy. Perfect for a cheese loving kid! Overall this was a lovely experience. The food was fresh, hot and delicious. I will undoubtedly return here!
Sonia P — Google review
Traveling across the country from NJ and was dying for a good cheesesteak. Found this place and my buddy and I figured we'd give it a shot. We were not disappointed! I got the Idaho Steak and Potato special and a side of fries, it was delicious. Even beats a few of the places back home. The service was fast and friendly. Great restaurant.
Alex C — Google review
Finally tried this place for the first time with my family. Eclectic atmosphere, a little confusing at first to be honest, very much a local dive. We weren't sure if it was counter order, table service, or if they even had room for party of 6. They helped us out and got us situated. There's a back room with more tables, looking like they were all bought at yard sales. It's not a very clean place, especially the bathroom which was downright filthy. We ordered several things and all tried them. The fries were very good. The mushroom cheesteak was dry but some steak sauce fixed that up. The fries mushrooms were okay. The buffalo chicken sandwich was messy but had a nice amount of spice. The Louisiana Cajun was not good, we moved here from Louisiana so we're probably a bit pickier but the flavor was much more cayenne than Cajun. The Sante Fe was good, as was the Sioux City steak and egg, although it was very messy and difficult to eat as a sandwich. Overall I do plan on coming back, they have a big menu and there's some other items I'd like to try, although we'll probably get it to go. Oh yeah, one more thing, the water was AWFUL. Worse than hose water from my grandma's house. It tasted like burnt lead and sadness.
John S — Google review
First time in today, and man, oh man, I'll be back again and again! I really loved my burger and cheesesticks! I will definitely be trying other items and look forward to going to do so! Price is on the more side, but considering your portions and the quality of the grub, it is so worth it! There is a come as you are, and believe what you believe vibe. Very laid back and nice place to just eat and relax. If you don't like talks of politics and poking fun at all of it (no sense of humor is what I'm saying), then this isn't the place for you! I'd suggest this place to anyone and everyone though, just take a jump and give it a try!!

Location: Franklins Famous Philly Cheesesteak Items: Bacon and Blue cheese burger, Montana Mushroom Philly Overall Score: 8 Customer service: 7 Food: 8.5 Value: 7 Atmosphere: 4 Was desiring a burger and this place had good reviews. My favorite things were the fires. Home made style with flavorful Cajun seasoning. The burger was large and I really enjoyed the bun although the patty was a little dry. Overall pretty good! Was $30 for these three things so a little on the pricey side.
Braden T — Google review
This place has the best Philly Cheesesteak sandwiches. My husband loves the Montana because it has mushrooms on it. I usually get the French dip or the original Philly. Today I got the French Dip. It was amazing. The staff is so nice. When we were ready to leave. They have us cups to go for our sodas. The fries are not my favorite so I usually don't order them. If you haven't stopped by, you should.

Idaho's Rib & Chop House - Idaho Falls is a popular dining establishment that specializes in serving top-quality, aged steaks, seafood, and slow-cooked ribs. Situated in downtown Idaho Falls, this hidden gem offers a relaxed and casual ambiance where patrons can enjoy delicious meals. Upon arrival, guests are warmly welcomed by the friendly staff and immersed in a cozy atmosphere. The extensive menu boasts an array of delectable steaks and chops that are cooked to perfection.
Wow, my steak was absolutely delicious. Right when we entered, the staff was welcoming, and our server was fantastic. The atmosphere makes it feel like a nice high-end experience. I got the baseball cut top sirloin and I loved the seasoning on the outside of the steak. It tasted really good. I got a baked potato for a side, which was really good, but I think next time I’ll try the au gratin potatoes or something else. The salad seemed average, but that’s OK. They asked if we were celebrating anything special, which I said we were and then they never did anything so I’m not sure why they asked. I would absolutely love to come back here the next time I’m in town.

Great place to eat and then walk to view the falls and surrounding areas. Diverse menu with some good looking steaks being served to many people around us. We had the shrimp scampi and loved it. It was buttery with a light garlic taste, perfectly cooked also. We chose a fresh salad from the list of sides that are included with your meal. The reason for four stars on service was our meal came out after only three bites of our salad. We were able to be seated immediately in the bar area. Plenty of parking in the surrounding area.
TC F — Google review
I took my husband here for his birthday and it was a perfectly lovely experience. He ordered the turf and turf while I ordered the 7oz sirloin and everything was simply delicious! In comparison to a large chain like Texas road house, there isn’t one. While I did miss my free bread our meals still came with two good sides. (Try the garlic mashed potatoes 10/10 worth it) although the quality of the stake wasn’t better than what I would have received anywhere else it was seasoned and cooked to almost perfection. My husband said his stake was a little tough but they brought him out free cake for his birthday so you win some you lose some. I would definitely recommend celebrating your birthday here! No embarrassing loud singing, just a delicious lava cake (possibly the best I’ve ever had) and a sincere card from the staff.
Jace M — Google review
We ate here following a wedding with a large group and it seemed a little disorganized with the serving and food prep as it took nearly 2 hours to get our food after arriving! However it was delicious once it arrived and the ribeye was delicious, perfectly cooked, tender and amazing flavor, the ribs were the most tender and falling off the bone I’ve had, the carrot pillafe was like a sweet but not too sweet unique and tasty recommendation. The desserts were large portions and I highly recommend the Carrot cake. It can be expensive most entrees 25-60+
Winston S — Google review
My husband and I were really looking forward to a nice dinner at Idaho Rib & Chop House, but unfortunately, the experience didn’t live up to the price, especially the steak. We ordered their $100 steak expecting something memorable, but it came out burnt. Not charred with flavor, just overcooked and burnt in the outside. Honestly, we’ve had better steaks at Texas Roadhouse. We let the manager know, and while they did comp us two slices of cake, it didn’t really make up for the disappointment of a hundred-dollar meal we were looking forward to enjoying. The service was also pretty slow — it took a long time just to get a refill on our drinks. We ended up stopping at Wendy’s afterward because we left hungry. We don’t usually leave negative reviews, but for the price and the reputation, we expected much better. Unfortunately, we won’t be back.
Madison P — Google review
It was good. The steak was really good. The mac and cheese felt like a microwave meal, I think mine wasn't fresh or was just really thick for my taste! (I like to add milk to mine so maybe I just wasn't used to the texture.) But the staff was so friendly, and the salad was good. It was nice and quiet, a really respectful-feeling restaurant. And our waiter was very friendly! He checked on us maybe 4 or 5 times. Very careful, very articulate, explained the menu because it was our first time there. His name was Sean! Everything was delicious besides the mac and cheese, again, I think because of texture differences. Either way, it was still yummy. Anyway! I recommend going if you feel like doing an expensive date with your partner. Me and my bf went on a whim, and it was fun. And it's right next to the Japanese Garden and the Idaho Falls park. It was a nice walk after a nice dinner.

DO NOT ORDER THE CÔTE DE BOEUF (36oz) GAVE US BLURRED MEAT. Our steak was overcooked to the point of being burnt, yet somehow still uneven: rare on one side, medium on the other, and charred on the outside. The meat itself was tough and lacked clarity in texture. Instead of addressing the issue, the manager(server didn’t show up after serving the dishes, everyone knew is burnt😅) simply pacify us two pieces of cake without asking us if we eat dessert. No refund, no redo, not even a discount. Major issues: 1. Too thick to cook properly: A better method would be slow-roasting it in foil at a low temperature before finishing it over high heat. 2. Uneven cooking: Right side rare, left side medium, exterior burnt. 3. Messy presentation: Butter was placed directly on the iron plate, causing oil to splatter all over the table and my clothes. A well-executed performance, but with no regard for the diners’ experience. What a waste of good meat. Eat taco later.

Fast food restaurant
Scotty's Drive-In is a retro-style, fast-service joint that offers counter service burgers and American fare. The restaurant provides a nostalgic drive-in experience with classic car displays, allowing customers to dine inside or in their cars. Known for its fresh-cut fries, shakes, and exceptional service, Scotty's Drive-In aims to create memorable experiences for its patrons.
This place is a great place to stop for a bite to eat. It’s a little pricey but it it was really good it’s got a really old school feel that I love. The burgers were cooked to perfection as well as the fries. I’ve been here in the park and got milkshakes that were really good too. The drive in part is more for parking, you don’t order or receive your food there, you have to go in but it does give you I nice place to sit in your car and eat or pick one of their picnicking benches sitting there to eat. Overall it’s one of the better burger places in town.

A true classic! Stopped by Scotty’s Drive In during our road trip, and it felt like stepping back in time in the best possible way. The burgers were juicy and full of flavor, the fries were perfectly crispy — delicious. The staff was friendly and quick, and the old-school vibe made the whole experience really fun. Great value for a satisfying, nostalgic meal. recommended if you’re craving a classic American diner experience!

We were on a family road trip and driving thru town when we saw a couple camels out front, yes they were real camels, the wife said "We need to stop!!" so with a 38' fifth wheel in tow we did a "Right turn Clyde". Once we got over the realization of what we saw, and got photos we decided to give the place shot. Wow, this place is amazing. The burgers were fantastic, and without a doubt, the best fries I have ever had, sorry 5 Guys. Topped it off with a delicious milkshake. So glad we saw the camels otherwise we probably would have never noticed this gem.

Great oldschool concept of a burger joint. Ordered a triple cheeseburger fries and concrete type shake. Burger was the best part very tasty meat with very good cheese was alittle greasy but as expected though. Fries were fresh and hot. Conrete shake was okay probably wouldnt order again had a strange taste which seemed to be the base of concrete something with the vanilla. Would come back for the burgers and fries.

Food was good, Ordered 6 different value meals all were good. Huckleberry Mountain Dew was good too. The only issues we had was there is no public restroom there or nearby

Two burgers w/ fries, two medium shakes, and a two dollar tip cost me $50.40CDN. I've been going here since I was a kid on pretty much an annual trip to Idaho. It's changed - It used to be a super good deal so that your whole family could get combo meals and shakes and not break the bank. However it doesn't seem to be that way anymore. The prices are on mostly par with other establishments. The food is pretty delicious though. The burger choices are extremely exhaustive. We took our time evaluating the menu and for that we thank the staff for the patience. It is an impressive menu. I had the Rodeo burger, minus the onion ring. The burgers we had were quite greasy but they tasted delightful. The fries were pretty good but I'm not a fan of french fries that have the outside/skin on them. The milkshakes were too thick and chunky with the mix-ins to be sucked through straws so we ate them like a blizzard (spoons provided) They were out of ketchup so we got extra fry sauce. They deter you from staying indoors where the air conditioning is lol there are signs posted that you're not allowed to eat inside. Tables outside we're all dirty so we cleaned our own table. When we were 70% done our meal somebody came outside and cleaned the other tables and checked on the table next to us asking if we needed anything else. We got nothing. We were chopped liver. I haven't found bathroom there yet, but I’m sure they have one. And because my grandma asked: no, there is no more car hop service.

Food is good. Good classic drive in style burger place. Just check your receipt. The menu and register don't always match . Wheat bun is posted 2 places for 20 cents but I was charged 50.

The small establishment exudes a bohemian, punk vibe with eclectic decor and interesting clientele. Known for their various skirt steak preparations and stir-fried vegetables topped with cheddar, the food is prepared from scratch in-house.
This place is truly a gem. We have been traveling and stopped in Idaho Falls. Our daughter picked this place. Our waitress Lyn was amazing! The food is fine dining and the atmosphere was great! Chef Jay made delicious food for our entire table! Our daughter is a Celiac and we were impressed that she was able to have so many options from drinks to dessert! We would for sure be regulars if we lived closer. Thank you to the staff and Chef for an amazing experience!

I must say I was a bit skeptical at first due to the looks of the building on the outside, but my mind was quickly changed as soon as we stepped inside, the ambiance was amazing and comforting. We were quick greeted and sat by one of the hostesses there. Our waitress Lyn was just an absolute gem, making jokes with us and making sure we were take care of throughout our dinner! The brisket burnt ends were amazing as well as the lamp lollipops!! Main course was the Australian Wagyu Ribeye and, it was just to die for!!! Drinks were absolutely amazing as well. During our meal the owner/chef Jay come out and greeted us, that was the icing on the cake! Kudos to his 3 cooks in the back!! Definitely a 10/10 experience!! Looking forward to dinning there soon!… PS: expect to spend a little money there BUT absolutely worth it!!

5 stars!!! If you are wanting flashy, this isn’t the place but for an easy, laid back atmosphere with good music, great service, and excellent food - this is a hidden gem inside a small inconspicuous red building. It is on the pricey side but flavor and quality is amazing. Recommend the sampler platter, burnt ends, and Alaskan red crab. Also - ask for outdoor seating if it’s nice out.

We used to come here years ago before I moved to Los Angeles or whenever I’d visit and I was so excited to come back. The food used to be great, and I’m sure it still is. I was looking through the menu and reviews and saw their 6% added gratuity to every bill and completely do not agree with the kitchens wages being put on the customers. The owner should be paying them a fair wage, not forcing it on the patrons. So I called to see if we could take it off the bill and they said no! In LA sometimes there is a 3% added for these types of things but you can also take it off. We always leave the servers 20-22% and know that they typically have to tip out bussers, runners, bar, etc. but I’m not ok with leaving almost 30% on a dinner. I was going to still come and just leave a smaller tip but then I saw the owners replies to any feedback he didn’t like. I was so turned off but his lack of grace in receiving negative reviews. These two things made my decision in not coming during my trip and will prevent me from recommending it like I have been doing for years to people still in IF
Hayley G — Google review
Came here with my husband and father in law. We didn’t have a reservation but we were seated right away. Unfortunately, service was very slow and not attentive to the details as expected. Looked like we were not assigned to any server and when someone finally came, she blamed the hostess right on the spot. First round of cocktails and drinks came out fast but my husband never had a chance to order a second one. We decided to share a few things and try different items on the menu. We ordered the house salad, tuna appetizer, d railed potato and the sea bass. Food was very good but not extraordinary. The fact that we didn’t have silverware when the food came and that we had to ask multiple times for a spoon and knives that never came, really made the food less enjoyable. The server was aware that we were sharing, so making sure that we had side plates and spoons was the minimum. They had a big party at the same time as us but that shouldn’t be a problem if you have a prepared and well trained team. Overall, everything felt overpriced.

Amazing from start to finish. Best restaurant in South eastern Idaho. Great apps. Drinks, salads, main course and dessert. Ignore the negative reviews. They either didn’t dine here or are delusional.

Food was amazing! Highly recommend the lamb lollipop appetizer! The crab and filet were amazing as well. Only issue is that they sat us at a table right by the front door and it was freezing (we did have a reservation). We did asked to be moved but they didn’t have any space. I understand not being able to move tables but that seat shouldn’t even exist since we had to eat in our winter coats. it was definitely a downer on the experience

Guns N Gear in Idaho Falls is an excellent place for both beginners and experienced shooters. They offer comprehensive training to ensure confidence when handling firearms. The store boasts the widest selection of guns, ammunition, and accessories at competitive prices. Customers appreciate the friendly and knowledgeable staff as well as the on-site shooting range with clean lanes. Whether you're looking for personal protection or just want to practice shooting, Guns N Gear is highly recommended for its extensive inventory and top-notch indoor shooting facility.
ALWAYS excellent service here. Today in particular gotta give a shout out to Zeus and Jacob. Zeus was extremely friendly, funny, and helpful. Jacob really impressed us with his vast knowledge, dude sounded like an encyclopedia. Very impressed. We had a good time

This is my favorite place in town. I can go here and walk around for hours just looking at everything they have when they say they have the largest selection, they mean it if you want to buy $150 firearm they got it if you wanna spend 20 grand on one firearm they got it and everything in between they have parts carrying cases, body armor knives pretty much everything you could ever want for self-defense. I also have gotten my enhanced concealed carry course through them and they worked out great sheriffs office had no problem taking the paperwork they provided. They are very knowledgeable and it was nice. They had a indoor range on site. I recommend this place to anyone looking for anything firearm or self protection related, as well as any kind of class which they offer many of
Ryan's R — Google review
They always have a great selection and have had what I am looking for a vast majority of the time. Also the employees have always been super friendly. However, I am knocking off several stars as many times I go in there, getting someone to allow me to look at a handgun in the cases can be like pulling teeth. I have also noticed it seems like everytime I go in there they have new employees that don't really have much knowledge. The guys that have been the awhile like Kwaid and Kyle are fantastic and the negativity is in no way on them. Also, another negative to me that was brought to my attention yesterday is their 4473 delay policy. Where if a customer gets a delay from the check, the item goes back out on the sales floor (unless you pay to have it on layaway)... If it sells in the 3 business days? Too bad... You need to start the process over again. Every other place I have gotten a delay they have put it in back and hung on to it until that approval came thru. I shared my frustrations with Kyle and I get policy is policy and I know I could get my CWP and avoid it. But I just want other folks that get delayed everyonce in awhile to maybe be aware that their policy is different.
Robert R — Google review
Wow! I can’t believe the selection, they have everything you may need for your personal protection. This is the first time I’ve ever visited this store I went with my friend as he was looking for a suppressor for his AR. The Prices are good! The staff are super friendly, professional and knowledgeable. They have a shooting range on the premises which is very affordable If you are in the market for guns and gear, I highly recommend checking out this place

Everybody there is super helpful. I went in today to purchase a P365X macro tacpro, Thought I had purchased the wrong one so I went back in and they were able to show that I had purchased the correct one which alleviated a lot of stress. Great guys and great selection.

The wait for help was fairly short. They have a huge stock of firearms and ammunition as well as an indoor gun range. A range membership is given with free range time for 30 days if you purchase a firearm. The staff was friendly and efficient and it appears the prices are competitive.

Brewpub
American restaurant
Sushi restaurant
Snow Eagle Brewing & Grill is a unique microbrewery that offers American pub fare alongside traditional Japanese dishes and sushi. The brewery features a variety of dishes, including grilled steak, wood-fired pizza, and sushi, but it's the house-crafted brews that draw in the crowds. Guests can sample two different brews before making their selection from options like German lagers and Mangy Wolf blond ales.
Give it a 5 star because the server was amazing and very nice. He was multitasking and didn’t stop cleaning. I love hard working people specially while their also taking care of their customers and table. Sushi was over when we went a bit too late but loved the food and drinks. Not too busy and love the view of the River.

Hadn’t been to Snow Eagle in a long time. When we came it the decor was nice and friendly. We were seated right away. However things were a little slow. They had one server for 6 or 7 tables. Most of the tables had 4 or more people at them. It was about 130 in the afternoon on a Saturday so a little understandable. The dishes were a little different. When I’m thinking teriyaki and rice I thinking of thinly cut steak in sauce. I got the steak 🥩 whole and some rice on the side with the sauce in a cup. A little bit was on my steak. Don’t get me wrong it was good just not prepared how I was thinking which doesn’t make it bad just different. My wife enjoyed her salad so that a plus.

Came up from Boise for concert and decided to stop here for lunch. We were seated there was not that many people there the server took a while to come over to even take a drink order. Went ahead and ordered I got the HICKORY BACON BURGER and my partner got the JALAPENO BURGER. Burgers were delicious, the waiter never did refilled my drink. Loved the look of the place.

Different in a good way! So they serve it all.. Japanese, Italian, American steaks, chicken, ribs, so much more! Good old school country music, great servers, interesting beer selection and wines. No booze here though?;! Food, well all over the place for choices... it's worth the visit cause the food is delicious. Beers brewed on site, are good, they do serve wines too. Clean, good tunes...if u like old country which I do...nice folks... I tried the four-berry pie with vanilla ice cream ... to die for!

i’m sorry to do this but this place was really pretty bad. they were out of two of their six house beers and so i ordered a “hazy IPA” that was absolutely not a hazy. it looked and tasted more like mix between an amber and pale ale. my “snow eagle burger” had blatantly raw onions rather than “caramelized” as stated on the menu (i really hate raw onions) and was TOTALLY VERY RARE. the server was very nice but didn’t ask how we wanted the burger cooked so i assumed it was at least medium. it was cooked for like 5 seconds it seemed. this place was weird and gross.
Ashley — Google review
The Snow Eagle Burger was rich and flavorful, with a thick, juicy patty that paired perfectly with semi crispy bacon and creamy guacamole. The combination of cheddar and provolone cheese added a smooth, savory touch. The sweet potato fries were decent, though fairly typical.
Brandon D — Google review
We stopped here out of convenience, due to its proximity to the falls. The staff was pretty laid back, but the service was great. Filled our water quickly and frequently. We ordered 3 entres to share and they even cut them up and brought them on separate plates without us having to ask. The food was a little expensive and tasted like they were trying too hard. Overall the Burger, chicken sandwich, and prime rib sandwich were good, but not great. They were a little too fancy for our kids. Overall it was a good experience.

Idaho Falls River Walk - Greenbelt Trail is a picturesque pathway that runs along the Snake River, providing stunning views of the city's iconic waterfall. The trail spans about five miles and offers access to various attractions, including the Art Museum of Eastern Idaho. Along the way, visitors can enjoy art installations, waterfront parks for picnics, and interpretive signs.
We were passing through Idaho Falls. We decided to take a detour and check out the falls. This place was beautiful. If I had the time, I would have loved to walk the 5-mile trail. While this is not a natural waterfall, it was still amazing to see. We even saw that you could take a boat tour if you wanted to.

Great night for a walk. Idaho Falls river walk. I came across a place where hundreds of pad locks are lift behind. What is the meaning of this? Are they dreams that didn't get shared, are they secrets locked away forever never to be thought of again. Are they memories locked here and forgotten. Only the person that left their lock here knows why.... it was a great walk

Great views of a waterfall that is part man-made, part natural that only drops maybe 12 feet or so, but goes on for 100 yards or more over many rocky areas. The best part is on the west side just N of the broadway bridge up to views of the temple (1/2 mile one way). Doing the loop on both sides through that section is 2.3 miles. Asphalt throughout. Rest rooms. Many benches. Even a couple swings.

First time visiting this location and we had an amazing experience. The food was exceptional, and we had several dishes. The drinks were amazing, the atmosphere was just to be expected right off of the snake river, so beautiful. Our waitress, Aunnalisa was top-notch. She was waiting on several tables along with ours and she did not miss a beat. Sometimes it’s the food that will bring us back, but other times it is the food and the service. We recommend this waitress and this location to everyone. Exceptional experience.

Good food, great service, inside atmosphere is great (outside music speakers can be loud). Didn’t love the key lime calamari but the Vegas sushi is great every time, as is the salted caramel dessert. The size of the meals seems to vary but I can’t figure out the common denominator…happy hour sizes are usually great. They’ve been out of the wine I want twice in 5 visits. Always great service though.

Wow! Came here to celebrate a birthday and they hit a home run for sure. Booth seating is very comfortable. Our server Hannah was very good and on top of our order and all the details. We started with the clam chowder; so good. Then we both ordered the Maui Maui which we highly recommend. And we finished with the supersized bread pudding. So tasty. If you are in the area be sure to stop in; you won’t be sorry!

Good spot for sushi. Oysters were massive and came with an incredible spicy Asian sauce. Great deals for happy hour on food and drinks. Server was knowledgeable and present. Cool interior with nice seating outside. Didn't love the location. Parking could be tough to find and front entrance is on a busy street where no parking is allowed.

I absolutely loved the fish tacos! The fish was perfectly cooked—crispy on the outside and tender inside. The pickled onions added great flavor to the fish tacos. These shrimp mango tacos are a true explosion of flavors! The juicy, sweet mango pairs wonderfully with the seasoned shrimp, creating a delightful balance of sweet and savory. Definitely a must-try for seafood lovers!

If you’re passing through Idaho Falls and looking for a place that delivers more than expected, this spot is a must-try. I stumbled in without much planning and left genuinely impressed. The highlight? Their salmon fish and chips—crispy, flaky, and perfectly seasoned. I’ve had my fair share of fish and chips, but this was the first time I’ve tried it with salmon, and wow… what a delicious twist. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with friendly staff who made the experience even better. Whether you’re a local or just visiting, this place deserves a spot on your itinerary. It’s the kind of surprise that makes travel memorable.

This cafe is MUST-GO place !! 😍 I ordered drink for Hazelnut divinity, Cold brew, Chai latte and foods for Elena de la vega bagel, Philly cheese steak sandwich. I only paid around $30 for all. The coffee was so delicious and each of coffee have unique taste. I was sad that I haven’t enjoyed the delicious coffee since i moved to USA. Great little coffee shop downtown. The food was good, the service was very friendly and fast, plus they were crowded. It was a Saturday morning, during the Saturday market time. Had a couple sandwiches and the burrito. The only reason I gave a four star instead of the five star is because their sandwiches were pretty small. Same goes with the burrito, pretty small. Just thought they could put a lot more meat in these sandwiches compared to other places downtown. Food was good tasting, though, just a little disappointed in the volume. Very clean inside, cool atmosphere, air conditioning. The staff was great.

Villa is my go-to coffee hangout in IF. The coffee is solidly good. I also particularly love their peach iced tea in the summer which you can have sweetened or plain. Most of the breakfast offerings are pretty decent. Though it’s more simple things like sandwiches and bagels, and not full breakfasts. There lunchtime sandwiches could be improved and the addition of better pastries would be awesome. They have a lovely relaxed vibe and play excellent music (90s grunge and other alternative). The staff are efficient, friendly, and chill. They also have free WiFi and it can be a good place to hang out and write.

Not sure what's happening here but have enjoyed coming here since early 2009. Moved away a few years ago but have always made it a point of gathering with a large group of friends every visit back. This past weekend, came there on Saturday with a dozen or so people of which at least half ordered food with their coffee. Service was okay, coffee was served IN house in paper cups. What!?! Why!?! We did not expect this in the Cafe. We could have gone through a drive through for that. Breakfast was good though. Came back on Sunday with a dozen or so people again. When we pulled an additional table over to accommodate the large group of which again at least half were ordering food along with their coffee, a server came and told us we couldn't move tables. We returned the table and had all of us squished around a table meant for 6-8. Again the coffee was served in paper cups, was barely warm, and the bagel on the Don Diego was so hard it was like eating croutons. But the icing on the cake was the horribly rude service we received from the young lady when a few of us went up to order another cup of coffee and requested it to be extra hot as the coffee didn't seem to be getting served hot that morning. She collected payment, turned the iPad around to request a tip, then proceeds to start the cup of coffee while rudely telling me I could go sit down as she would bring it out to me, while I was in the middle of a conversation at the counter with someone else, as though she was dismissing me from her space. Sad to see things going downhill here.

I was passing thru & went here due to Moose Ridge being closed due to a water issue. I love a good latte & frequent a roasting Company in the town I live in, which they roast with organic beans. Not only did I not finish my latte, it had a bitter after taste. The gal who waited on me was not friendly. It felt more like I was a bother to her. I went there because the reviews were good.

I very much enjoyed this shop. Great drinks, excellent service. Very fair prices. Music was more Rock n Roll for those who enjoy that with their coffee, check this place out. Got a Latte served in a fresh mug. Very classy. Watched the shot made fresh right over the counter. Definitely visiting again sometime. Metallica playing now. Hope you like it here.

The staff at the merchandise return counter exhibit kindness and understanding towards customers. Target is praised for its acts of kindness and willingness to assist customers in times of need.
This review is for the electronics employee I spoke with. Young guy. Early 20s. Glasses. Longer hair. I went in to buy some shokz headphones. This guy knew all about them and even compared and contrasted the models in case I wanted other features. Very conversational and very informative, friendly and would definitely seek out this young man again for my electronic needs. What a great help and deserves a raise. Thanks for your help broseph

They were fairly busy on the Saturday that I attended. They had a fair bit of litter in their parking lot and had a couple of clothes displays out of order, but it was honestly pretty organized for as busy as they were. They had a large board game selection.

Cozy little place in downtown, really nice taplist reflecting small Idaho breweries . Enjoyed my brief visit

I would rate negative stars if I could. Went here for the first time to brunch with a friend, but we left after 5 minutes. Never had a bartender make me feel that uncomfy in my life. We are a couple of 24 year old gals dressed pretty nice. No idea why but we were not served and definitely not welcome AT ALL. Went next door to pie hole instead and had a great time.

To be honest, I only come here every so often for brunch on Sundays. I don't order the food. I have in the past, but my experience has been that they're really small plates for more money than I think they're worth, but I also didn't mind how everything tasted. It is worth mentioning that I haven't ordered food here in ages, so my info might be outdated. That being said, they basically are cooking in their little storage space. They made some tasty little gas bistro snacks, but I would never consider the place of I wanted a meal. I do think they have the best quality/bang for your buck on mamosa's. I also love their staff. Chuck, the owner, is so sweet he doesn't need to put sugar in hos coffee, and if he's there you might be lucky enough to see his dog Ollie. Olly. Ollie... I don't know how to spell it. When I go there, it is typically a woman named Amy behind the counter, and she is a friendly and genuine person. I believe it usually her husband in the back making the food on Sundays. I recommend popping in and having a drink. Its cozy, and they often have live music or trivia or something happening. They are also often just a calm place to sit and have a drink

Superb BBQ wings, with just a little bite. Decent selection of craft brews. They have board games, and we played Battleship! Very nice folks. Still have games, still nice folks. Tacos are delicious!

DJ trivia on Tuesday and Thursday is great fun! Wine tastings on Wednesday, frequent live music and mimosa's on Sunday. Great place to enjoy, they have a small line up top. Large amount of beers on tap, great selection of wine at a very fair price. The food is always great from flat bread pizza, dry rub chicken wings, and meatball sliders.
Timmah S — Google review
A great place to grab a beer or a glass of wine. And trivia is fantastically hosted and the teams are great sports!

We absolutely LOVE Blackrock! Chuck made us feel right at home and was so helpful! I'm not a huge fan of wine, but he shares so much information and it's so fun to learn about the different wines! He's also always open to helping me find something I like! We will continue to go back again and again!

American restaurant
Copper Rill Restaurant is a charming dining spot located near the Idaho Falls Greenbelt and Snake River. Established in 2013 by Chef Jud Wilcox and Shandi Fujimoto, this casual yet elegant restaurant offers a diverse menu of American cuisine. From made-from-scratch sandwiches to pasta and entrees, there's something for every palate.
Service was amazing!! Stopped here after a day of meetings and it was so nice, and the food was so good. Curried chicken skewers were delicious. Both entrees (prosciutto wrapped tiger shrimp and steak with mushrooms) were so so good! Staff checked on us repeatedly, and we were able to get in without a reservation. Drinks were tasty. No complaints, an absolutely lovely end to my work day!
Jenn E — Google review
My two sisters and I had reservations for 7:30 p.m. Once we were seated, our server took great care of us. We started with the shrimp appetizer, which we loved—the flavors were spot on, and the texture was perfect. The blackberry mojito was refreshing and well-balanced. My sister and I ordered the steak, while my other sister ordered the salmon. Both dishes were cooked to perfection. The mashed potatoes and vegetables were also delicious. Every item we ordered came out promptly and was clearly prepared with care. It’s evident that the staff and chef take great pride in the food and drinks they serve.

In town for work and wanted a great steak a glass of red wine. Copper Rill did not disappoint! Colleen recommended the mushrooms, French onion soup and the Black and Blue tenderloin... so good, ordered a second glass of the Rioja to savor it longer! Finished everything off with the molten chocolate cake with raspberry sauce... now for a stroll along the Falls. Best night ever!

Great meal, atmosphere, and wait staff. It was my first time trying swordfish and it was cooked perfectly. No fishy taste and super tender. Our soup/salad and entree were brought out at a respond time after ordering. Great place to celebrate your birthday!!
Daniela N — Google review
I rarely leave reviews but I felt obligated to after the meal my wife and I had last night. We are in on vacation for our anniversary, and made a reservation online. I have to say, this was one of the best meals we’ve had. We started with a couple Moscow mules, and the ginger beer they used in them was top tier. We had the crab cakes as an appetizer, and they were incredible as well. She had the dinner salad, and to had the chicken and rice soup. Both were very good. I had the ribeye, which was cooked to perfection. She had the haddock, and it was perfect, light and flaky. We were completely stuffed, but we saw the owner walk by with the apple cobbler and vanilla ice cream, and she mentioned that it was her grandmothers recipe, so we felt inclined. So glad we did, because it was incredible. A cobbler made like a piece of birthday cake almost. My description does not do it justice. Not a bad word to say about the food, and the owner herself stopped by our table multiple times to make sure we enjoyed everything. If we ever come back to Idaho Falls, we will be coming back! Thank you again for a great experience!
Daulton W — Google review
This was our first time at the Copper Rill and we will definitely be back! We had the chicken Wellington and the pork bone-in ribeye. The flavors for both were delicious. We also enjoyed the warm Rosemary roll as well as the creme brulee and sausage stuffed basil pesto mushrooms. I would go back and order the exact same things, it was so good!
Daniel S — Google review
This restraunt was very nice. The server was very nice to us even though we had three kid and other people was all adult. They didn’t treat us different than other. The food was very delicious and i will love to go again.
Ayumi W — Google review
Disappointed as the reviews were so good! Food was OK. The stuffed mushrooms drowned in the pesto. The Caesar salad was also drowning in dressing. The rib eye was overcooked and mash potatoes were bland. Vegetables were obviously pre frozen and again..bland. There is no view of the falls, but a view of the parking lot when sitting outside. Overall, as a visitor reading reviews…this was not a restaurant I would bring clients to impress based on the reviews. Overall, Disappointed.

Pizza restaurant
Lucy's New York Style Pizzeria is a humble local chain restaurant that offers thin-crust pizza, calzones, subs, and salads. It has been voted by the locals as Idaho Falls' best pizza place. Specializing in New York-style pizza, Lucy's uses hand-tossed dough with a thin crust. The popularity of this pizza joint is evident with three locations in Idaho and one in Utah.
The first bite? It's like a party in your mouth and everyone's invited... especially your tastebuds, they're the VIPs. It's a whole mood. You'll forget your troubles, your bills, maybe even your own name for a few minutes. It's so good, it's almost suspicious. Through the eating experience, you'll probably make involuntary happy noises. You might start inventing new words to describe the flavor. Don't be surprised if you find yourself trying to hug the pizza. It's a natural reaction to something this good. So, if you're tired of pizza that's just food, then get yourself to this place. It's a guaranteed riot for your tastebuds. Just be prepared to have your pizza standards raised so high, every other pizza place will seem like a sad imitation. You've been warned... and you're welcome! 😉🍕 Go grab these pies now!

So I had the meatball sub...and the bun was a bit charred and the cheese was barely melted...sauce was skimpy as well as the cheese...and no way the sliced meatballs were 10 ounces! And sadly the meatballs were either bad...they tasted ok...but they literally had me on the toilet for 2 days! I should have had the pizza!

We have been long time customers and always happy with service and the food. However the past few times they have messed up our order whether it be forgetting sodas and then they come back 45 minutes to an hour later after everyone has eaten. To forgetting one pizza we ordered and then they say oh we can bring it to you, again another 45 minutes and also not to mention the slimy disgusting salad they brought to us. Then forgetting cheese bread and bringing it later again which we asked for a refund and refused. Today was my last straw ordering from Lucy’s pizza. They arrived 25 minutes late than they stated, the gave us the wrong pizza and burnt the calzone. My husband called them and they refused to refund the whole pizza because they got the other half of the pizza correct lol. So they refunded for the half of pizza . Also they requested pictures of the food because I assume they didn’t believe us so they needed proof. So ridiculous! I don’t know what’s happened to this location but I hope one day they get it together

Amazing pie! Some of the best pizza I’ve tasted. Cool location, fast service, fair prices, amazing food. Only crime here is not having Coke.

Well done Lucy's. NY style sounds easy but it's not. Thin crisp crust with also a good chew is tough to get right and you did it well. Everything had good flavor, the crust, the sauce, the cheese, the salami, the mushrooms. The service was great the young lady that took my order and ran the register was super, great attitude, smile and personality. She even did a great job getting those canoli's put together. We were just passing through, but if ever in the area again this place is definitely on the list.

We LOVE Lucy’s- their dine-in and carry out service is incredible, and worth every Penny. Their pizzas, salads, and cheese sticks are incredible, and we always order a pizza from them or do dine-in when we have visitors in town. My husband loves their cannolis also. My fave things on the menu are their antipasto salad, cheese sticks, and of course, any kind of pizza. The inside is really fun in case you want a dining suggestion.

Today, my family, a few friends, and their dog enjoyed lunch at Lucy’s after spending the morning at the farmers market. We sat outside on a beautiful day and were lucky to be served by Ryan. He was fantastic—friendly, attentive, and very knowledgeable about the menu. He got our order exactly right, and the food came out in a timely manner. Ryan went above and beyond by keeping our drinks full and even bringing out a bowl of water for the dog without us asking. That small gesture really stood out. The food was absolutely incredible—some of the best pizza I’ve ever had. The BBQ chicken calzone was my personal favorite. Between the top-notch service and amazing food, we will definitely be back. Great food and great service can be hard to come by, but we found both today at Lucy’s. Thanks again, Ryan!

Sandpiper is a casual dining spot in Idaho Falls that specializes in hand-cut steaks, fresh seafood, and pasta. The restaurant prides itself on its clear focus, with all steaks being hand-cut on site and seafood flown in daily to be paired with homemade sauces, soups, and desserts.
Visiting from out of state and will DEFINITELY come back! Our server had the BEST customer service I’ve seen in a long time! He came over and apologized to us due to our food taking an hour to come out because of a group of 20 that had ordered before us. We were in no rush and had no problem waiting! He was very genuine and continued to check on us, even gave us soup to hold us over until our food came out. And oh my, the wait was SOOO worth it! The Chicken Alfredo and Chicken Baja had so much flavor, we couldn’t stop eating until it was gone! If you have room for dessert, the Mud Pie was DELICIOUS and the portion was HUGE! Very reasonably priced for the quality of food!

The atmosphere is great here, and the food is absolutely delicious. The steak melted in my mouth. The french dip sandwich was to die for. The steak burger is huge and awesome. Our waiter was amazing and so attentive. He came and checked on us The perfect amount of times and was so courteous and helpful. There is outdoor and indoor seating. They serve alcohol. There are many TVS in the dining room If you want to watch sports as you eat. It is pricey, but it is worth it because the food was so delicious.

Wow just wow! This place has been around forever and you can tell why. We came for my mom's birthday and it was perfect. The salad bar is insane - so many fresh options and the dressings are homemade. I got the prime rib (medium rare) and it was cooked perfectly - so juicy and flavorful. My husband got the seafood platter and said it was some of the best shrimp he's ever had. The service was excellent - our waiter was super attentive without being pushy. Yes it's a bit pricey but you get what you pay for. The ambiance is classic and elegant but not stuffy. Highly recommend for special occasions!

I will say the dining experience was very pleasant with a nice view of the water and manicured banks. Though it is a popular place with exceptional service, the cuisine was lacking in originality. I wouldn't rate it past the "comforts" and expectations of what you would expect from a known franchise (Which this place was not.)

Zoos & Aquariums
Nestled in the picturesque Tautphaus Park, the Idaho Falls Zoo is a delightful destination for animal lovers and families alike. This charming zoo showcases around 300 animals from 130 different species, offering visitors an opportunity to explore diverse habitats like Patagonia, North America, Australia, Africa, and Asia. Known as one of the best little zoos in the West, it features engaging exhibits that include everything from playful lemurs to majestic snow leopards.
Excellent zoo for the size of Idaho Falls. Nearly all is in the shade. Almost all animals are outside. Laid out such that it is easy to do the whole thing without much backtracking or just selected parts. Good variety of animals. Has petting zoo area. Easily handles strollers. One lunch place - only open on weekends. Enclosures are well maintained. Been improving over the years. We saw everything and spent just over 90 minutes. Saw a baby lemur! Also had a baby camel!

The great part about anything zoo is the chance to see animals you normally wouldn't. Some zoos aren't managed well though. This zoos was well maintained. The animals seemed well taken care of. It was a smaller zoo, but that was perfect for the time we had to visit. 3hrs to walk around the entire place was perfect. Little kids only have so much attention, and so this was perfect. I highly recommend going.
David A — Google review
We love the zoo! It's such a hidden gem for Idaho Falls. It not a big zoo, but it has a lot of really cool animals. We love that it is smaller as we can see all the animals in about an hour, but can spend more time there if we want. If you live in Idaho Falls, I definitely recommend a season pass. You make your money back in no time and it's such a great summer activity. Another thing that is really cool, is they normally have zoo keepers/volunteers out that teach you different things about the animals, answer your questions, and sometimes you even get to touch fur of the animal.
Kayli F — Google review
The zoo was pleasantly uncrowded during our visit, allowing us to leisurely enjoy each animal exhibit. Easy to navigate the grounds. We found the gift shop to be reasonably priced, offering a variety of appealing options. Conveniently, the free parking lot allowed us to walk directly into the zoo, and we appreciated the clean facilities and friendly staff. Overall, it was a wonderful way to spend the morning!

Idaho Falls Zoo is a delightful surprise nestled in a small city. Despite its modest size, the zoo offers an impressive and well-curated collection of animals from around the world—including lions, zebras, penguins, and primates. The layout is family-friendly and easy to navigate, making it perfect for a relaxed afternoon visit. One of the highlights for kids is the face painting station, which adds a fun and colorful touch to the experience. The zoo is clean, well-maintained, and staffed by friendly personnel who clearly care about the animals and guests alike. Overall, it’s a gem for a city this size—a great place to bring the family and enjoy a few hours of nature and learning.

Went on a Saturday morning when it first opened. The animals were active. The staff were cleaning enclosures and were very friendly and willing to answer questions. They had a new baby femur born in April 2025. The primates were fun especially the Gibbons who were "singing". They also had a baby camel. Additionally they had a baby red panda but this was hid from view to protect the mom. Enclosures were well kept and animals seemed calm. Took about 90 minutes to cover the 7 acre zoo. There is a gift shop, some food offerings, and clean bathrooms. Highly recommend for something fun to do in Idaho Falls
Kim T — Google review
I've been to one of the best zoos in the world so it is hard to compare, but I have to admit that I was pleasantly surprised. It seemed small from the outside and it being in a smaller town made me doubt they'd have much. To my utter surprise, it was incredible. I was able to see animals I had never seen before and the kids thought it was so cool that peacocks were just wandering around. Even with two exhibits closed, it was still a worthwhile trip. You'll be amazed at what you will find. Very special! The kids were even able to enjoy the artistry of a face painter, it was great and fairly reasonably priced too. Looking forward to going back next time we are in town.

Frontier Center for the Performing Arts (Formerly Civic Auditorium)

Performing arts theater
The Frontier Center for the Performing Arts, formerly known as Civic Auditorium, has recently undergone a major renovation resulting in improved acoustics. It hosts various events throughout the year including local and youth symphony performances. However, visitors have cautioned that seating at the back may obstruct views of the stage and those with lower back pain should be mindful of their seating choice.
Not my first time there as over the last couple decades I've attended many dance recitals. This time I attended the Sounds Company presentation of The Prince of Egypt. I knew there had been a Disney musical by that name, but never saw itcir talked about it with anyone! I enjoyed the show quite a bit I've plenty of critiques about it as well, but the Theatre itself is very nice. I'm not sure of the House Size, but there are not any really bad seats. Parking is a bit messy, but I believe that construction is ongoing on the surrounding roads. Just leave time to drop off any handicapped family, as that parking seemed fairly non -existent, but again, that may have been because of construction work in the area.
Valerie B — Google review
We went to see the Swan Lake performed by the Grand Kyiv Ballet. The ballet was awesome, one of the best I’ve seen. The dancers were so skilled and professional. I love the ballet so much. I cannot say anything bad about the ballet. However, the management of the Center was awful. The bathrooms and the inside of the theater were very dirty, they didn’t look clean or good. When we got it there was a QR code with the program, where it said “scan for the program” but I think it was a scam since a guy told us to not scan it. I think this is all management’s fault and not the ballet organization. They should treat foreign professional dancers with more professionalism than giving them a place to perform that does not meet the standards of a ballet environment. Ballet company 5/5, the Center 1/5.

We came here for the matinee of "The Forgotten Carols" by Michael McLean. The picture is from our seats in the nose bleed section, one row from the back of the balcony. It shows that the light bar blocks the view of the back parts of the stage. The play was TERRIFIC! We left feeling uplifted and ready to have a Christ filled Christmas! There is no elevator in this venue so there were tons of stairs to be climbed to get to the balcony and another ton to our seats. If you have mobility problems make sure you have good seats to accommodate you. There were also a flight of stairs to the front door. I didn't see a ramp, but I didn't look for one either. 😕 We totally recommend this play and the venue is good also!

The Colonial Theater, managed by the Idaho Falls Arts Council, is a cherished historic venue with a rich legacy dating back to 1919. It boasts one of the largest stages in the Upper West and features modern amenities such as a spacious balcony ramp and an efficient ventilation system ensuring fresh air every five minutes. The theater's fantastic acoustics enhance the experience for visitors. Its well-maintained interior retains original wall details, offering ample seating including handicap options and public restrooms.
Fantastic theater. Love the authentic architecture and style. The concerts and events that come are wonderful!

Second time to this theater and I'm just blown away at the dedication they have to this old theater and the arts. I went to see Luca Stricagnoli here twice and I've enjoyed it! The art gallery is neat and the staff is just amazing!
Jennifer T — Google review
We went to see Brad Williams this week and it was SO much fun! The staff at the theater was everywhere! They walked EVERYONE to their seats (1000+ people). They made sure everyone had their needs. They guided the masses out the appropriate doors when the time came and honestly I wouldn't have been surprised if with the after meet&greet they had the lines perfectly set up. It was a phenomenal experience and honestly the ONLY thing I could complain about is the placing and sort of lack of places for handicapped. There were two "seatless" spots more than half way back and on the very outside of the floor seating that were for handicapped patrons. Otherwise it was wonderful!
Sidsee W — Google review
Had a wonderful time & very comfortable seating. Enjoyed reviewing the art and everyone was very courteous.

Worst experience I've ever had at a theater. Brought my family of five. There was an extremely disruptive person right behind us screaming beyond what is normal or appropriate. It was so bad that the two rows in front of us and the row behind this person were also had to plug their ears. It was so bad. Talked to multiple ushers and they said they couldn't do anything because they were paying customers. I guess they forgot that all the rest of us were paying customers. They also said that if we wanted them to be quiet we had to deal with it ourselves. How ridiculous that they want paying customers to handle problems with other customers during the middle of a performance. What a joke of a theater. Never going back there again.

First of all, the volunteers were amazing. They were friendly, helpful and so sweet. The acoustics were very good. The acts (Making Music and Los Texmaniacs were very talented. The music was very enjoyable.

The theater is amazing, the architecture & acoustics are fantastic, built in the late 1800 hundreds i believe !

1st time to this theater. Guarantee I will return for another show. We sat on the lower left side and view of stage was great. I don't believe from walking through the entire theater that there could remotely be a bad seat in the house.

A Street Soup Market is a cozy spot in Downtown Idaho Falls that offers a variety of homemade soups, sandwiches, and salads. The menu changes daily, featuring options like Hungarian mushroom and chicken coconut curry soups. Customers can also purchase artisan breads to complement their meals. The friendly staff and delicious food make for a pleasant dining experience, with patrons praising the quaint atmosphere and excellent service.
The best soups I’ve ever had — and such an amazing variety! When they make homemade pizza, it’s my absolute favorite. Light, fresh, and incredibly delicious! I also love everyone who works there — such friendly and welcoming people. Definitely a must-try spot... but fair warning: you’ll get hooked and want to go all the time! And the prices? So good!

Found this divine soup, sandwich & salad spot from a tip from a fellow traveler. Shrimp salad, & Jalapeño cheddar bread were spectacular. Hubby said his chef salad was great. Lemon chicken asparagus soup was out of this world! If you are ever in Idaho Falls, this place is a must! Be warned, they close at 6:00 pm, so plan accordingly.

Stopped by for lunch after being highly recommended by a friend, and I’m so glad I went!! Delicious sandwiches, incredible soup, and a great kids menu too. Manda was incredible, and was friendly, attentive, and steered me right every time! Plus the atmosphere was cozy and truly a local watering hole. I had their Spicy Chicken Cordon Bleu special with a cup of their stellar Hungarian Mushroom soup. Next time I come back to Idaho Falls I’ll definitely be stopping back for one of the best restaurants in town.

One of my favorite places to eat in Idaho Falls!! Food never disappoints, and staff are always friendly and incredibly helpful. I come here very often and love trying all the new dishes they come up with .

The waitress was super personable and friendly- As a Caesar Salad fanatic it was top tier completely homemade and delicious. The French dip meat on the sour dough hoagie its self was okay but not a whole lot of flavor and kind of on the dryer side the Au Jus that went with it was good. The hallway to the bathroom entry is also the entry to the kitchen where they did have a small table in the hall with two very large knives sitting out in the open, as a parent I’m glad I walked my kiddo to the bathroom.

WOW! WOW! WOW! Stopped by based on the Google reviews and this place.....wow. I had the mushroom soup and the special spicy chicken cordon bleu sandwich. The picture is all that was left before I thought to take a picture. If it wasn't socially frowned upon to lick clean dishes, I would have finished off every drop of that amazing soup.

Exceptional Catering & Service from A Street Soup Market! We had A Street Soup Market out of Idaho Falls cater our son’s wedding, and it was nothing short of incredible! From the very first bite to the very last plate cleared, everything was absolutely perfect. Our menu was packed with flavor and variety — delicious appetizers like pineapple teriyaki ham skewers, a beautiful fruit platter, bacon-wrapped balsamic dates, and a stunning charcuterie board. The kids’ table was a huge hit too with creamy mac and cheese, loaded mashed potatoes, and BBQ meatballs! For the main course, we were blown away — lemon thyme chicken that was sooo fricken delicious, smoldered rosemary tri-tip, honey-glazed spiced baked ham, roasted garlic baby reds, a fresh vegetable medley, and sriracha honey butternut squash. And the chicken curry soup — easily one of the best soups I’ve ever eaten in my life! Our caterer, Courtney, was an absolute dream to work with — professional, attentive, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. The presentation was gorgeous, the food was hot and plentiful, and the service was seamless. We are beyond grateful for A Street Soup Market’s role in making our son’s wedding day so memorable. Highly, highly recommend them for any special occasion — they are truly top-tier caterers! — Michael & McKayla’s Wedding, October 18, 2025

Nestled along the west bank of the Snake River in Idaho Falls, the Eagle Rock Fountain stands as a striking modern landmark and a testament to the city’s rich history. This impressive monument, unveiled in 2006, features majestic parent eagles guarding their young from below—a powerful symbol of protection and freedom.
Talk about beauty. The Eagle which represents many things from the spiritual aspect to American Freedom. Such a well done art work for all to see I. This amazing town.

The pictures make it look like it is so much more then just a fountain in the middle of a roundabout and then the next round about has a river walk with no places to park except in a business area. Although it is a beautiful site to see
Joy W — Google review
Very nice fountain ⛲️ in the middle of a busy round about. The parking lots are for banks and financial district offices. You can park at a strip mall area and walk, but I wouldn't recommend trying to walk through the round about to get to the fountain. Dangerous! Don't get me wrong though if you can walk there is a nice walk path close by with several cool 😎 waterfalls and water displays. The Eagle rock fountain ⛲️ is really cool and worth seeing if you know the things that I mentioned before you go ! Go on a Sunday morning like we did and the parking lots were empty.
Fonerules — Google review
One of the most beautiful and spectacular fountains that I know. The fountain most likely intends to commemorate of the town history. The town was re-named to Idaho Falls in 1891. Originally, the settlement was called Eagle Rock. It started as a fur trading post and grew massively, after gold was found there in 1860.

Very nice flowing waterfall and nearby stream, mist keeps area cool. Relaxing soundscape, with not too much traffic in the round about.

The fountain wasn't running when I visited. I parked in a space at one of the surrounding business parking lots and then walked over for photos

I'm from California, where the turnabout are, well....turnabouts. Eagle rock is a very nice artistic fountain turnabout. So artistic, that I'm wondering if there's a lot of accidents from people gawking or while trying to get a pic while driving. I prefer a California turnabout, because I prefer to see who's coming at me. Turnabouts can be confusing enough (for me).

Ice cream shop
Reed's Dairy is a must-visit destination for anyone looking to get closer to agriculture and experience delicious dairy products. This popular spot, known for its ice cream, is rated as the most popular ice cream shop in Idaho by Delish.com. The friendly staff and well-maintained facilities make it a great stop on a road trip to or from Yellowstone.
Great local place. They use their own butter and cheese from their family dairy for all their products and food. The staff is eager to help and moved through two huge church groups while we were there in rapid time. After ordering, the drinks, cups, and chips are all out in the customer area for “on your honor” grab and go. Small town, honest feel. In addition to the regular delicious ice cream flavors, the staff is encouraged to create their own new ice cream flavor; so if you want to try a flavor invented by a staff member, ask for a sample. All dairy products are great. We had combo meals with grilled cheese and ham. Grab a bag of cheese curds (squeaky cheese) and warm it up slightly before eating so the texture changes—so good!

Reed's Dairy is always the number one stop we look forward to on our road trips every year. This location in particular has so many flavors to choose from including a super unique honeycomb crunch that I get every time. Their flavored milks are amazing and change monthly. The clientele is all ages and clearly this business is beloved in the community. I only wish we lived closer! We even had the pleasure of meeting the owner and got a sneak peek at next month's pumpkin spice milk! Some of the best ice cream we've ever had in our lives 😊❤️

A must do if youre ever in the area!! We got jalapeño cheese sandwiches and their icecream - one choc and the other blue. The dairy is made fresh from their farm and you could even pet the farm animals outside. Such a fun country experience
F L — Google review
So we went to Reed’s Dairy, the original one in Idaho Falls, not the impostor locations that are just buildings pretending to be farms. This one’s the real deal. You walk in and you’re like, “Oh yeah, this is where cows live and grilled cheese dreams come true.” The ice cream? Amazing. Like, if happiness had a flavor, it would be whatever they’re scooping here. I had a scoop so good I forgot my own name for a second. And the grilled cheese? It’s like they took childhood and melted it between two slices of bread. I don’t know what kind of cheese they use, but it’s probably the kind that makes you believe in miracles. And the cheese curds? Unreal. The jalapeño ones hit like a spicy little love letter from the dairy gods. I ate a handful and immediately started reevaluating my life choices, in a good way. There’s plenty of seating, inside, outside, upside down if you’re a goat. Speaking of goats, they’ve got animals. Real ones. Not animatronic Disney ones. There’s a goat that’s clearly planning a prison break. I watched it for ten minutes and I’m pretty sure it’s the mastermind of the whole barnyard. Then there are two piglets who look like they just got out of a spa day, a couple of miniature ponies that are basically horse toddlers, a donkey who’s seen some things, two sheep who are just vibing, and a young longhorn cow who’s got opinions. Loud ones. It was yelling at everyone, ponies, people, probably the moon. It stirred up the whole animal kingdom like it was hosting a farmyard podcast. If you want ice cream, grilled cheese, spicy cheese curds, and a front-row seat to a goat’s escape attempt, this is your place. Five stars. Would go again. Might even help the goat dig a tunnel next time.

Fun place to get ice-cream. The ice-cream is amazing, and the environment is great. They have a small area to the side with a few farm animals in pens. My toddler loved seeing the goats, cow, pigs, donkey, and ponies. It is a great place to stop with young children or a great date idea. The animals are free to go see.

The restaurant's colorful decor creates an authentic Mexican atmosphere, complemented by the complimentary chips and salsa served at every table. Love the atmosphere of the restaurant and surrounding area. Downtown Idaho Falls is a wonderful place to get dinner and walk around. Was seated right at the window! Our sever was amazing. Super friendly, helpful, and personable. Our food was great! Some things were better than others. The salsa, top tier! The chips and rice were good too. The beans were not my favorite. The fish tacos were incredible! And so was the beef tamale. Pretty reasonable price for the quality and amount of food we received, 2 meals, 1 al la carte and a desert and we spent about $40. Will be back in the future!

First time visiting Pachanga's in Idaho Falls. We went in for lunch. Wasn't terribly busy, as we arrived before the noon hour. We were greeted immediately and a table was quickly prepared for our group of 5 adults and 2 kids. We placed our drink requests and looked over the menu while those were being poured and delivered. I ordered and received their Horchata in a cold mug. It was delicious, and I got a free refill later. We then ordered our food. It wasn't long before our selections were brought to the table. I had ordered their Chile Colorado plate, with corn tortillas. I must rave about this. Such tender chunks of beef, well flavored sauce and a generous, but not too large, portion, along with rice and beans. One of the all time best plates of Chile Colorado I have ever eaten. Atmosphere and service were excellent. Everyone else in our party enjoyed their meals, as well. The kid's chicken enchilada was a hit. This was an excellent lunch experience for us.

I ordered the Pollo Fundido, their fan favorite, as a takeout meal. It did not get soggy or gross after a 30 min drive in the bag. The portions were plentiful, delicious, and a bag of chips and salsa was included with the meal, all for under $14! This was an amazing choice and I will be back for more.

This fast food restaurant snuck up on me. I have never heard of this restaurant before. The food was really really good and then there's the dessert 🍨 ice cream 🍦 😋 😍 WOW!!! I am not a dessert person but it would have been a real shame if I had not tried my wife's snickers ice-cream and my daughter's vanilla. The other choices looked good too. The spicy chicken 🐔 sandwich 🥪 that I shared with my wife was really good. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND TRYING THIS PLACE !

I visited this Culver’s recently, and my order wasn’t quite right. Due to some health issues, finding foods I can eat comfortably can be a real challenge, so I called the next morning to explain what had happened. From the very start, I was treated with such kindness and care. Craig, the first manager I spoke with, was incredibly understanding and personable. He made me feel heard and never like a burden. He took the time to explain how mistakes can happen and went above and beyond to make things right by offering to remake the burger exactly how I needed it. He also generously provided me with a free meal coupon, which was such a thoughtful gesture that truly showed how much they value their customers. When I arrived to pick up the remake, Sean greeted me at the store and was equally outstanding. His professionalism, warmth, and attention to all the customers were truly impressive. Both Craig and Sean turned what could have been a frustrating experience into one that reminded me how great customer service can make all the difference. I’ll absolutely be returning to this location as often as I can. Great job, Culver’s team! 👏🍔

Tired of fast food. This place makes it personal to your taste and they are quick also. My wife had the clam chowder and deep fried shrimp. All great and delicious. Loved going to Culver's for their concrete mixers. They are delicious, very creamy, and with lots of options for toppings to mix in. Reason why I give a 4/5 is because the burgers I had were not anything special. Food was hot, fries were crunchy, but I feel like they lacked seasoning. Would definitely go back for the concrete mixers and ice cream options, especially with the flavor of the day changing for variety and the menu being available both on physical calendars you can take with you or if searched online.

Might not be the best burger in Idaho, but my first time here was a good one. The Ripcurl was solid, the fries and onion rings were great! Good vibe and I'll return.

Best burger ever. I could stop there, but I won’t. I visited Idaho Falls and was told that I had to try the Blue waves burgers. By far the worst dining experience we've had in Idaho Falls. I came in with a group of coworkers on our lunch break. 6 in total. Place was pretty empty, so being busy wasn't an issue. Food was atrocious. The ones who had burgers were semi satisfied. Flat breads were burned, sparsely topped and really gross. The tater tot basket we ordered was so overdone it was inedible. I took photos to share. It was a Tuesday afternoon a few months ago. Tall guy with bandana cooking, and our middle aged waitress was so unpersonable, and clueless it was surprising she even was employed there. She didn't check on us, she looked like she hated her job, and served us food that was inexcusable. She could care less when we said it wasn't exceptable. We spent a good amount on lunch there, and with a short lunch we didn't have time to wait for a remake. Then again, couldn't imagine it would've been better. Looks like a establishment on the way down. Plenty of better places to spend your money.

I was so hopeful... This is definitely a dive bar for locals. We came in for an early dinner and there were several families dining in playing pool or giant jenga with their kids. It was such a fun vibe. A coworker suggested Blue Wave and we were excited to try "the best burgers in Idaho Falls". Unfortunately, outside of the fun atmosphere, the rest of the experience was lackluster. We seated ourselves and waited close to 20 minutes for anyone to acknowledge we were there. It wasn't just us either. The table across from us were also clearly tapping their feet in anticipation. Someone from that table actually ended up walking over to the bar to ask for service. Once our waitress finally made it to the table, we had mulled over what we were going to order more times than I can count. But alas, we made a decision. We ordered mini corndogs, a pastrami burger for my fiancé, and a mushroom & swiss burger for myself. Both burgers came with a side of fries — I wanted tater tots but they were all out. Let's talk taste. The mini corndogs were burnt. I actually think they would've tasted so much better if that weren't the case. The chef gave us more corndogs than what's on the menu but that's probably because he knew they were burnt (LOL)! The pastrami burger was meh. I can't think of another word to describe it. The beef patty was overcooked and the pastrami slices were dry. My mushroom & swiss burger was better but still not good. The beef patty was cooked to a medium-well but lacked flavor. There were no condiments on my burger so I kept dipping it in fry sauce hoping that would give it some life. I'm not sure why The Blue Wave gets hyped up so much. We won't be coming back — at least not for the food.

We were enthusiastic customers of the Blue Room and the Blue Door. The atmosphere hasn't changed since then, the service is friendly, but the burgers and fries r not what they used to be. We can find better burgers in town.

WoW WoW WoW! This place is conveniently located across from The Best Western (Cottontree)! We went there and the only thing was their wasn’t a hostess and when one came she didn’t say anything so we sat ourselves in the bar which was the BEST decision we made! We were happily greeted by Jeremy and promptly given menus and waters! He ask if we had been there before (no) and then told us his favorite menu items and took our drink orders! The Strawberry Lemon Drop was delicious and the beer was cold! Don’t even get me started on their “scones” with honey butter! We started with the Lobster Bisque and let me tell you the other reviews do not lie! If you are here you NEED to try it!! I ordered the Blackened Chicken Pasta and it did not disappoint and was such a huge portion! And yes I dunked my scones in it! My husband ordered the Center Cut Ribeye with Onion Rings and their Crab Bernaise and OMG!! We were lucky enough to have Snake River Farms in Salem Oregon and it is some of the BEST meat we have had! Jeremy was an incredible server! Very attentive and friendly AND he has a ton of great pit stops and places to check out locally and in Yellowstone!

We visited Jakers Steakhouse in Idaho Falls with a large group, and I will say, they were well-prepared to accommodate us. They had two servers assigned to our table, which made the ordering process much quicker. Orders were taken on tablets, a nice touch that helps with accuracy and timely service. Most entrees include a choice of soup or salad. The majority of our group opted for salad, and unfortunately, over half were served with noticeably old, brown lettuce. When we brought it to the server’s attention, the response felt more annoyed than concerned. She quietly removed the plates without offering an apology or explanation. It was disappointing that not one person, chef, server, manager, or food runner, caught this before serving it to a large party. Definitely a missed opportunity to show care for guests. That said, the rest of the meals (from what I observed) were correct and well-prepared. The kids’ chicken tenders were a standout, generous portion and really tasty. The steak was cooked nicely, and the blackened chicken pasta came with vegetables mixed in, which was a great touch. The restaurant itself has a bit of an outdated vibe, but it was clean, and the restrooms were well-kept. Parking was easy on a Monday evening, though I can’t speak to busier nights. Overall, it had some strong points but also room for improvement, especially when it comes to quality control and customer care.

In town for a couple of days, saw good reviews & when in Idaho one must get a steak. I got the 6oz sirloin, wow, the best that I’ve ever had! Hubby had the 14 oz prime rib, it was beautiful & excellent! We would definitely come back if ever in town again. Oh, also, the scones are to die for! Not what you expect, soft & sweet served with honey butter. I believe our server was Taylor & she was amazing!

Anniversary date! Hit the last hour of Happy Hour, specials on drinks and appetizers. Had the ribeye cap and the tenderloin for dinner, both excellent! Free dessert for our anniversary, had the Crème brûlée, also really good!

Mmmmm! Smothered chicken & a loaded Bakers signature potato = delicious! My mother lived her pasta (4 meals)... I ate off of mine for 3 meals! Conscientious servers & fun atmosphere contribute to the enjoyment! Easy time find. GF & VEGAN MENU

Came into town for work. Sat at the bar. Got the wedge (phenomenal), cap steak and baked potato (with butter and sour cream) Food was fantastic! The rolls and honey butter were insane as well. Almost like a beignet. Cyan and Katelyn were fantastic bartenders. Give those women a raise!

I had the Cap? Steak. It was the special on Sat night and it was unbelievable. The cut was like a filet, had the flavor of a ribeye but no fat. My sides were zucchini and Mac n cheese. Both were wonderful. My three companions had trout, the cap steak and a huge salad-enough for two. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Aquarium
Zoos & Aquariums
Located in Idaho Falls, the East Idaho Aquarium offers an interactive and entertaining experience for visitors to learn about aquatic ecosystems. Established in 2013, the aquarium features twelve exhibits showcasing a variety of marine life, including colorful displays of jellyfish, fish, crabs, and eels in the Ocean Life Exhibit. The Fresh Water Life Exhibit highlights interesting fish native to fresh water sources.
5 Stars! A Must-Visit Aquarium in Idaho Falls! The Idaho Falls Airport Aquarium was an absolute blast! From the moment we walked in, the staff was incredibly kind, especially Gina at the front counter, who checked everyone in with a warm welcome. This was my second visit with my kids while in town, and it was even better than the first. We arrived right at opening (11 AM) and were lucky enough to see the sloth come out, eat, and climb into its treehouse, such a fun experience for all ages! What makes this aquarium special is how interactive it is. My kids loved using their tokens to feed the animals, with the sting rays and iguanas being their favorites. On our way out, we were surprised with a special treat, one of the employees had Rufus the porcupine out, and everyone loved watching him do tricks and eat snacks. It’s unclear if arriving right at open is when they bring out the animals, or if we just got lucky either way, it made the day extra memorable. The only small hiccup was that some of the QR codes placed in front of the animals didn’t scan properly, but that didn’t take away from the experience. This is a smaller aquarium, but if you really take your time, there’s plenty to see, learn, and enjoy. It’s a fantastic stop for families and kids, highly recommend!
Jacquline M — Google review
Great aquarium. Hubby and I loved walking around and seeing all the different aquatic and non aquatic life. Highly recommend getting the tokens and feeding the animals. Fun to watch the fish and the iguanas were great. The sloth was sleeping up in his hut but they have a porcupine and the alligator was underwater sleeping
Harley Q — Google review
What a fun place to visit! We visited the aquarium for my birthday. This was a great experience. My daughter loved it. I enjoyed how interactive it was. This aquarium is a decent size. The aquatic displays are magnificent, especially the tank with sharks. The aquarium's touch pools and other interactive elements make it a great place for families. The ticket pricing is reasonable. They offer a military discount. They also offer tokens to feed the animals. We went inside the cage with the birds. My whole family had a lovely time here.
Sonia P — Google review
We had an awesome experience here both adults and kids enjoyed a lot. There are lots of hands-on activities, such as touching or feeding the fishes and animals. They are even a sandbox! I also heard you can do a diving experience in the Shark Tank for only $50. I really wish I had more time here. We were told that this aquarium is going to expand and they have more animals, I’ll definitely come back!
Rachel L — Google review
The East Idaho Aquarium is a quaint little spot that offers a nice experience, especially for families. While it’s on the smaller side, the highlight for me was definitely the opportunity to feed some of the animals, which added a fun interactive element to the visit. The admission price is reasonable considering the size of the aquarium, making it a budget-friendly outing. All the employees we encountered were very friendly. Overall, it’s a pleasant way to spend about an hour, especially if you're looking for something low-key and different in the area.
J. G — Google review
Such a cool place! Lots of things to see. My favorites were the sharks, the sloth, and the porcupine! My only advice is if you have longer-ish hair then wear it up! It's is SUPER humid in that building. And hydrate, hydrate, hydrate!
Nicki G — Google review
This is such a fun hands on aquarium! My kids love that you can touch a lot of animals. They have fish obviously, as well as other sea animals, birds, lizards, frogs, a friendly porcupine, and a sloth. You can pay extra to do animal encounters like swimming with the sharks or holding the sloth. The other downside, is that the past couple times I've gone, it's been pretty dirty and rundown. It's also pretty narrow, so it can be hard to navigate if it's crowded.
Kayli F — Google review
Me & my little cousin decided to make a quick Stop here because she wants to see animals. Not to bad priced .. only take 20 minutes so definitely just take your time . Look at everything feed everything etc.

Idaho Falls Farmer's Market

Farmers' market
Grocery store
The Idaho Falls Farmer's Market is a lively weekly gathering in downtown Idaho Falls, offering a vibrant celebration of local flavor and community energy. Visitors can savor farm-fresh goods, artisanal products, and the bustling atmosphere. The market features a variety of vendors offering everything from fresh produce to handcrafted items like ceramics, cutting boards, and aprons. Additionally, visitors can enjoy food options ranging from BBQ to kettle popcorn and desserts.
A definite must do on a Saturday morning! We love going to the farmers market. There are fresh flowers, food, treats, live music, produce and so much more! Some of our favorite vendors are Thors Chocolate, Megpies, Mama Fla Italian Food, and Sugared Moose Donuts!
Ashley B — Google review
Flowers, baked goods, local produce, dog treats, lots of handmade jewelry, leather, metal works, art, local butchers, local oils, and all sorts of food trucks (shaved ice, tacos, wood fired pizza, sliders, coffee, etc.) including more authentic food types than I was expecting Mexican, Jamaican, Italian. July 2025 pricing: Bouquet of flowers was $30, cold brew coffee was $4.75 and garlic herb sourdough loaf was $12. Lots of choices, lots of shade and misters going, live music and the street was closed so plenty of room for families and their dogs to shop.
Lauren P — Google review
We lucked out and stayed right by this. Our favorite farmers market so far. Really enjoyed it and wish our town had something even close to this. Loved seeing the different booths. It made us fall in love with the town more. I miss the cinnamon things already. Loved all the dogs and 2 goats!
Lori F — Google review
Visited early June. Disappointed in lack of produce, which is what we came for. Only saw two stalls selling fresh vegetables! It was crowded and mostly crafts. Nothing wrong with crafts, but that’s not a farmer’s market. Very nice setting, nice people, would go for shopping but not for produce.
Sara J — Google review
I love the walk on Saturdays. I see certain people every time I go and I get all my meat from one of their sellers. However, $15 loaves of bread, food trucks that mark prices when there and price gouging has become rampant.
David G — Google review
Fabulous!! So many vendors, it is a local gem that is so fun to attend and see all the talent! They've got everything from food and fresh produce, to hand made anything! Great for gifts and for a lovely morning.
Samantha S — Google review
They usually have awesome food vendors and yes totally worth going to each year and try something new. It's been that enjoyable.

Idaho Falls Idaho Temple

Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints
Place of worship
Religious destination
Nestled gracefully along the river, the Idaho Falls Idaho Temple stands as a stunning architectural gem in the city. Constructed between 1940 and 1945, this striking white edifice features a prominent single spire that glistens under the sun's rays. Surrounded by beautifully landscaped gardens bursting with vibrant flowers during summer, it offers a serene escape just ten minutes north of downtown.
One of the few temples to have a visitor center, if you have the chance, check it out! It is such a peaceful place!
Jaxon H — Google review
Gorgeous building but there was an event on Saturday I wasn't aware of and I couldn't go into the gardens? I thought the outside was at least public. Everyone (hundreds of them?) hovered in front of the Visitors Center and I couldn't get by to get in. Its in a peaceful area though.
Zor — Google review
Absolutely stunning building and grounds! Stop by the visitor center or stroll by while doing the Riverwalk, you won't be disappointed either way!
Gary W — Google review
Very pretty temple! I love the history behind this building as well!
Jace M — Google review
The architecture on the outside was very beautiful. However, they don’t let you inside the temple unless you have like some sort of appointment or something. Although the visitor center was very nice and so were the staff there they were very welcoming.
Ostine C — Google review
For those who are wondering what a temple is, a temple is like this one is the House of the Lord. If you go on the grounds you'll see it say this on the east wall of the temple. When we step on to these sacred grounds we can feel the peace and the Lord has for all His children. Inside members of the Church of Jesus christ of Latter-day Day Saints make sacred promises or covenants that bind their family for eternity. We likewise offer this blessing to those who have already passed through the veil. If you would like to learn more just ask someone on the grounds and they will be more than happy to help. There is also a visitors center on the east side of the temple with plenty of information and is usually always open. ☺️ This is my favorite temple for many reasons. For one, it's geographical location. It's alongside the river and especially close to the waterfall which makes for great photos. It's also in downtown Idaho Falls so plenty of restaurants nearby and plus the city has been really trying hard to make that area look nice.
Blues — Google review
Truly one of my favorite Temples, it is so beautiful next to the river. It is such a special place, and if you are curious about Temples or the beliefs that members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints have, please visit the Visitor's Center right next to the Temple.
Matthew B — Google review
When you need to get closer to our Savior the Lord Jesus Christ you can simply just walk the temple grounds and you will feel the spirit. My grandparents were sealed in this Temple 60 years ago. I had the opportunity to visit this place a few weeks back. Being from Alabama my grandparents had to travel across the country and a Volkswagen beetle. While they were headed out there at the transmission went out, my mom got extremely sick, and they lost their luggage. Having said that, my grandparents said they wouldn't trade it for anything in the world. The reasoning behind all of the mishaps was simple. You see Lucifer knew that if they were sealed in the temple great and marvelous works would come from their posterity. Because of that, I have been sealed in the temple to my children and my children have been sealed to their spouses. Both of my children have serve missions faithfully and have brought many people into Christ. Because of that one small act of them going to the temple mighty wonders of taking place. Miracles beyond comprehension.

Melaleuca Field is home to the Idaho Falls Chukars, a Minor League Baseball team with a history dating back to the 1920s. The stadium offers an enjoyable experience for fans, with music, announcements, and the beloved mascot Charlie adding to the atmosphere. While the concession prices may be on the higher end, it's recommended to come prepared and enjoy a great time supporting the team.
Fun, family-friendly ball park to catch some Pioneer League baseball. Tucked just north of downtown, the IF Chukars draw an enthusiastic and friendly crowd. Plenty of kids games between innings. Staff very helpful directing you around the stadium. Plus the weather is awesome for a summer evening outing!
SouTex T — Google review
Fun to go to a game there, but eat before you go. I had the worst hot dogs I have ever eaten (before I threw them away). Dogs were hard on one end and the buns were mush in the middle (wet mush). Had to throw them away so I wouldn’t get sick.
Kevin M — Google review
The beautiful thing about small town baseball is that the crowd feels much more involved in the game. The announcers have fun commentary and are quick & clever with their buttons for ads and heckling of the other team. They also have a lot of shirt tosses between innings and fun children participating mini-games on the field.
Naomi T — Google review
Fun place to take the family on a budget. Actually it’s not hard to find free tickets to see a ball game. The food and drinks are pretty pricey and cheaply made but hey the place has to make money on something. Nevertheless they do have edible food and it’s really not that bad. I enjoyed my all American hotdog and my son loved his nachos. We used to come here all the time but life happens and we don’t so much these days but I wish we could more. I recommend go out get you some dinner then take the family to go watch some ball And bust some snacks. It’ll be great for everyone
Ryan's R — Google review
Great game, great service. I got some tickets from work and I was able to bring a couple of friends with me. The game was really fun. The Chukars won. There were a lot of fly balls and I was able to get one of them.

The SnakeBite Restaurant, a popular spot in Idaho Falls since 1994, is known for its creative New American cuisine. This cash-only eatery offers a warm and friendly atmosphere where diners can enjoy a variety of dishes including steaks, seafood, and vegetarian options for both lunch and dinner. The menu features delightful recipes such as the osso bucco, a tender pork dish with ginger-soy mahogany sauce served with mashed potatoes and vegetables.
We were sat very quickly, they got our drinks quickly and there wasn't very much of a wait for the food. Good food and good service. We got the baked brie for an appetizer. Biscuits and gravy, the fish tacos with soup instead of fries and the Hoback chicken sandwiches. All was really good.

The food is OK. Definitely nothing special. The inside of the restaurant is incredible. Very modern and well designed. The staff is great as always. I've got the fish tacos for the last 20 years. They definitely aren't the same as they were 10 years ago.Portions are good, overall the food is pretty good. Would recommend people to go there and try it out.

We love coming to the Snake Bite for a local bite to eat. The old location was cozy. The new location is a little more spacious. Instead of art on the wall, made by local artists, they now have fish swimming in the air: each designed by a different artist. Good comfortable atmosphere. Excellent burgers. I have been ordering the Grand Teton Burger with house salad for years and it never disappoints.
Marijke M — Google review
Great place to eat for all ages. Our daughters got the wild mushroom and the snake river burgers. We got the blackened salmon and smothered chicken. Everything was prepared fresh and nicely done. Fries and onion rings were perfect as well. Loved the atmosphere as well. Four people with drinks and appetizer $103 with tax

Nicer local bar and grill - definitely date place capability. Plenty of seating, full bar, huge menu, excellent service and great food, much locally sourced. I went with the steak tacos - locally sourced wagyu beef strips tacos with sauce that would make any latin restaurant proud. Spouse went with a burger, cooked to order, again with prime beef, locally sourced - and yes - you can taste it. Server was outstanding, knew her menu, and had great recommendations. Generous servings - no dessert for us, unfortunately. We would have though - everything we touched here was good. I think you will find the same.

Edited review: Fantastic restaurant! The burgers are amazing!! One in our party had the tacos. A nice option is to sub a side salad for the fries which come with the burgers. Great tasting food, great waitress! I also had the non- alcoholic Huckleberry Lavender Mule. It was tasty! My son and his wife brought me to this restaurant for a late Mother's Day dinner. I forgot to photograph the burger, but did take a photo of the Mule drink. Pleasant atmosphere and would definitely eat here again on my next trip to visit family in Idaho Falls!

Fast food restaurant
Hamburger restaurant
Carl's Jr., a popular fast-food franchise recognized for its diverse selection of stacked burgers and meal options, along with indulgent milkshakes, is renowned for providing exceptional assistance to visitors from out of town. Although unidentified by name, an outstanding employee sporting black spectacles and braided hair showcased remarkable professionalism and kindness while taking orders. This commendable act of treating families with utmost care reflects the establishment's commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
Had a great experience here! Food was hot and delicious. Restaurant and restroom were spotless. Chloe was nice and sweet. I didn’t get the cooks name but he did an awesome job. I had the Western Bacon burger and my husband had a Double Sourdough Bacon cheeseburger. Waffle fries were hot also. They didn’t have fry sauce or ketchup… what? I had to laugh cuz what fast food restaurant in Idaho doesn’t have fry sauce or ketchup LOL. So we had ranch and bbq sauce instead, and I think I liked it better!
Tami H — Google review
I went through the drive through and there was some miscommunication during the order so when I came back a few minutes later Sebastian took great care of me. Was VERY polite, so friendly and took care of the issue efficiently, and professionally. Very happy with the overall service. Sebastian should be a trainer for how all Carl’s Jr employees should greet/treat customers.
Nessa V — Google review
Went here for lunch, the staff was beyond amazing, fast friendly. The general manager michael, had the best customer service I've seen in a long time. Definitely will be back
Rachel J — Google review
In my opinion, this is the Carls Jr that should have been shut down, not the one on 17th. The staff is SO rude every time I’ve come here. They tried to charge me full price for a cup of water, every other Carl’s Jr. that I’ve been to that does two for five biscuits will let you substitute bacon for sausage, this one refuses, customer service is very much not their strong suit and their food is subpar. The biscuits were so hard I couldn’t eat them and the hasbrowns were cold. Just do yourself a favor and don’t come here.
Kortni C — Google review
This location is in Idaho Falls. The service was sub par. It was slow. The tables were dirty. There were no napkins available. Half of the soda dispensers in the soda machine are empty. The bathroom was not very clean. The food was alright. Overall I'm disappointed and I probably won't go back again unless there is no other choice. The main reason I went to much there was because Wendy's is closed.
Colton I — Google review
My love how you have coupons that are the kind of food would like to eat. And that you serve senior so nicely. The people working at this Carl’s Jr. are kind and cheerful…

I keep trying Carl's jr hoping there would be a time when it was good enough that id be like man I wish I had this in my town. Never happen probably last time ill ever go. Decent for a simple burger place but very underwhelming for prices.
Michael M — Google review
I regret it every time I come in. No condiments outside the counter, the soda fountains are never properly maintained & they advertise deals they don't honor. It's obvious it's owned by someone who doesn't actually take care of the restaurant.

The limited seating makes it ideal for late lunch or early dinner visits. The menu features an impressive selection of pub grub classics, including creative dishes like sandwiches, burgers, and entrees to cater to everyone's taste.
I have to eat gluten free and so traveling and finding GOOD food is always a struggle, but Bee's Knees Pub & Catering Co. not only had great menu's that listed the gluten free options which made it EASY to order, but the food was AMAZING. SO much flavor and color. I so wish we had this restaurant in the Treasure Valley!! I would eat here ALL THE TIME. The decor was cute, the atmosphere was really nice, our server was AWESOME. He kept my water full and had great things to suggest about the soups and foods. Such a great experience! Next time we are in Idaho Falls, we will be back! I cannot stress how great this place and the food was! 10 out of 10! The bathrooms were clean also, and they have a HUGE conference room that would be great for company events and dinners.

We had some young ones with us and were impressed with the large portions, for adults and kids! The presentation of all food (including kids) was top notch and Everyone loved their food. I will say there was a chicken bone in the one chicken sandwich, I have to guess it was an anomaly. Food took a little long to come out, but was tasty when it came. Most of us took boxes of leftovers home- I would split a meal next time.

Went for brunch on a Saturday right as they opened and it wasn’t too busy! Got right in and sat down. The menu looks delicious! We ordered the bacon flight and chocolate covered bacon is a must! Biscuits and gravy were different but still very good! The breakfast potatoes are amazing! I’m getting a big plate of those next time! We ordered a bunch of items to try as much as we could out and it was all just delicious!

I live for breakfast so trust me when I tell you I’ve eaten at my fill of diners and fancy brunches This place was a delight and the food was so so good. I got the croissant egg sandwich. That fried egg was cooked perfectly. The Jalepeno poppers were good they had an Asian twist. My strawberry basil lemonade was good. I didn’t pick up on the basil so much. The serving sizes are plenty especially with the potatoes on the side. I’m about to dig into my raspberry chipotle cheesecake

First time here and I LOVED IT. My wife has been here twice before with friends and this time we went. First of all, the atmosphere was just so fun! I loved how it was decorated and just felt like a fun environment. They also host events like mic night, trivia night, etc. Second, the staff was AWESOME! They were so nice and so friendly. They told us a little About the history of the place, and it was actually the 11 year today of their opening day. Lastly, let’s talk about the food. Oh my oh my…IT WAS DELICIOUS. I had the bourbon barbecue burger. It was large and juicy. My wife had the chicken sandwich. They we both so moist and juicy. The sidewinder fries are a must. So crispy. Overall, I would highly recommend this place. The service is great, the staff is fantastic and the food is so delicious! Will be coming here again!

We had such a great dinner at Bee’s Knees in Idaho Falls! I ordered the prime rib, my husband got the Pink Floyd chicken fettuccine, and our son had the hamburger — everything was absolutely delicious. The salad that came with my steak was worth every penny of the small upcharge — fresh, flavorful, and the dressing tasted homemade (so good!). Our waitress, Kat, was fantastic — friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. The whole experience was relaxed and enjoyable. We’ll definitely be back!

Food was AMAZING! Made up for the somewhat slow service. I believe they were fulfilling an online order at the same time as we had ordered. Because our orders took longer than normal, they brought us a complimentary brownie.

Very nice restaurant, was decorated for valentines day. Staff was friendly and food was amazing. I ordered the oh honey chicken sandwich and it was great, very moist and flavorful. It is a herb seasoned chicken and reminded me of the consistency of a Thanksgiving sandwich. The bread is also delightfully crunchy at the crust and soft past that. I returned only 2 days later to try something else, I ordered the shrimp poe boy, it was amazing the crunch from the bread crust, tomatoes, cucumber and fried shrimp is perfectly mirrored by the smooth cream like consistency created by the mozzarella, chedder cheese and sauce. Also had a side of their Mac & cheese, warning it is very creamy maybe too much for me but still very good regardless.
