Flea & Street Markets
Your DeKalb Farmers Market is a spacious grocery store in Decatur, Atlanta, known for its diverse selection of organic produce and specialty foods. The market boasts an impressive display of nearly 200 flags representing the countries of its vendors, offering a global culinary experience. With over 450 varieties of fruits and vegetables, along with natural herbs, spices, and quality meats, it's a haven for food enthusiasts seeking unique ingredients.
One of the cheapest options for fresh products in the Atlanta area, without trading off for quality. Veggies, fruits, nuts,...you can't find it more reasonably priced than here. Also a great (local) brewery and wine selection, bakery and cheese selection. It can be crowded during peak hours and they don't accept credit cards (only cash, check or debit). Even when it's crowded they always have enough cash registers open to accommodate a fairly quick checkout. There's also a bicycle rack available in case you're on a two-wheeler.

You name the veritable , sea food or anything else,. And it is available here.. this is an amazing place for food lovers.. fresh vegetables acroas the globe is available here at one single place.. it is an amazing place to buy coffee, seafood, fresh vegetables and bakery items.. Loved this place..♥️♥️

If we lived in the area, definitely we'd shopping there often. Their bakery looked so good and their fruits tart was so good😋
Chizu H — Google review
Been coming here since I was a kid, I do miss the buffet but covid did what it does. Food is very very fresh, prices kind of depend but overall they're fair. The spices are basically free, the bakery is top notch, meat selection is almost too much, it's a great place. Only complaint is location, if you live there enjoy your food, if you don't, it's a bit of a drive. Actually no, second complaint, the aisles are tiny, when the store is packed it's a complete hassle but I've been there so much I forgot this is a problem
Christopher E — Google review
Nice products on offer. Really good if you're into fresh and organic foods. Huge selection of everything you could need. Very interesting place. Cakes are nice but the fruits seem to be to the American taste, quite watery
Morgan M — Google review
This place is the ultimate international food market to find fresh organic food and products. The food options are overwhelming when you first attend, but it gets easier next time you come.
Mel P — Google review
This is one market that has been around for a long time, I was told what I found was a place that was very clean and with a lot of stuff at a fantastic price. Produce is fresh and they have a fantastic assortment of things. I cannot find in my local stores in Alpharetta. The price is way better, even for organic stuff, including beef and poultry. It gets really packed on Saturdays mornings, I will try to go on a weekday and see what that looks like.
Ale C — Google review
Probably my favorite place in Atlanta for seasonal fruits! My whole family loves coming here! They have a coffee section that will grind the beans to your specifications. They also have delicious decaf beans if you need that. I also buy my seasoning, teas leaves, and grains from here because there are so many affordable options. You can only use debit cards, EBT, checks, or cash here however so keep that in mind. They do not take credit.

Kudzu Antiques + Modern is a treasure trove for anyone who loves the charm of vintage and modern decor. Nestled in Decatur, Georgia, this beloved establishment has been a staple on the antique trail since 1979. Spanning an impressive 25,000 square feet, it showcases an extensive collection from over 100 dealers, making it easy to lose track of time while exploring its diverse inventory.
I was absolutely mind-blown by Kudzu Antiques + Modern! Walking in felt like stepping into a treasure trove—I must have said, "Oh, look at this!" over a hundred times like an excited kid. The selection is outstanding, with so many unique, high-quality pieces that kept surprising me at every turn. The staff was incredibly welcoming, making the experience even better. We had some great laughs, and their knowledge and friendliness made shopping a joy. I was lucky enough to find a Solid Brass Delft chandelier from Spain, and it’s absolutely stunning! My son, husband, and I had an amazing time, and I can’t wait to come back. Whether you're a serious collector or just love discovering beautiful things, this place is a must-visit in Atlanta!

I just wanted to take a moment to express my sincere appreciation for the incredible experience I had walking through your store. From the moment I stepped through the doors, there was an unmistakable feeling of warmth and familiarity—like coming home. You've created more than just a shop; it truly feels like a lovingly curated sanctuary. The layout is both elegant and inviting, encouraging discovery at every turn. I was completely captivated by the thoughtful placement of beautiful little trinkets tucked into every corner—each one telling its own quiet story. And then, just when I thought I’d seen it all, I turned a corner and was met with pieces so stunning, they genuinely took my breath away. Your store is a rare gem, a celebration of timeless charm and the enduring beauty of antiques. For anyone who appreciates history, craftsmanship, and the quiet soul that only vintage pieces carry—Kuduz is an absolute must-visit. Thank you for creating such a special space. I’ll certainly be back, and I won’t stop recommending you to fellow lovers of all things beautiful and nostalgic.
Rika L — Google review
A fascinating store with a unique and mindblowing collection of antiques/ old as well as some new items, mostly of decorative and furniture categories. It's so huge... you can spend an hour up to may be an entire day exploring it. They have a very nice collection of paintings and furniture items. Since most of the items are antique/ old, it is difficult to assess the reasonability of prices. The display is nice, the store is immaculately clean, and the staff is very friendly.

Kudzu means a quick-growing eastern Asian climbing plant with reddish-purple flowers, used as a fodder crop and for erosion control. It has become a pest in the southeastern US. This store is a great collection of antique items, furniture, apparels, accessories and many more.. its like a museum where you can buy things I loved this place..

Wow. Great place. Trying to kill some time in the area and Googled Antique Malls and found Kudzu. Drove over and were immediately impressed by the "lawn decor". Very fun and cool. Went inside and really enjoyed ourselves. Lots of great stuff, including furniture. Spent a couple hours checking everything out. Didn't buy much because we were traveling home in a few days and didn't have much room, but did buy a few small items. Gal at the register (Audrey) was so friendly and funny. Just made our day. I would definitely come back if I was in the area again. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

A MUST GO TO PLACE if you like antique, vintage or even some modern furniture that is different or unique. Kate is absolutely amazing and very helpful at helping you find what your looking for, even if she has to locate it somewhere else. The place is well organized and you can spend a few hours browsing through the store and find something to buy for every room in your house. Great high-end vintage furniture selection. Even a Baker Furniture Chippendale tea table with a Rotating and Tilt Top that's so rare and absolutely stunning.
Advocate B — Google review
Cute place with a lot of variety, but cohesive feel. There seems to be a good mix of vintage items with new and some local items as well. Booths are staged by different vendors, some thematic, others a bit of a hodgepodge. Fun place to walk through.

Donut shop
Revolution Doughnuts & Coffee is a charming shop that offers an array of creative donut flavors, such as vanilla bean, carrot cake, and caramel-bacon. The small but promising donut joint in Decatur prides itself on serving farm-to-table, hand-crafted donuts made from organic ingredients. Owner Maria Moore Riggs was inspired to create organically-made donuts during her time at a California resort where they sourced ingredients from organic gardens and farms.
With a nearly full-vegan selection, this place not only excels in providing stellar baked goods but further exceeds the competition. The Classic Glazed is a monstrous, shiny donut emulating the exquisite taste of a high-quality glazed donut yet further outdoing other yeast-based donuts with its unbelievably pillowy feel. Having this felt like eating a lightly maple-flavored cloud, all while not having to pay an arm and a leg for it! This is 100% a must-visit place!
Shreya R — Google review
Revolution Donuts came highly recommended and maybe we bought too much into the hype. The donuts were ok, but definitely didn’t live up to the hype. My hats off to their ability to generate buzz, but just didn’t meet our expectations.
Jim B — Google review
This has been my favorite doughnut spot in Atlanta since I was in High School. My personal favorites are the strawberry or peach sliders (spring/summer menu) and the raspberry sprinkle (year round). I’m currently a fan of their seasonal drinks. I got the strawberry matcha and it was nothing short of delicious. They offer vegan and gluten free options. This is a first come first serve bases. So getting here early is essential to getting what you want. Especially the weekends. Staff are great. Plenty of seating and parking during off hours.
Emma W — Google review
The peacg matcha was amazing, so was the peach latte. The doughnuts were very light and delicious and they had savory options for non sweet people. They also had other flours used, and milks.
Kathryn F — Google review
Awesome place to go to and get some luxurious donuts! Store has a nice ambiance, but I'm usually an in and out type of person. I love these donuts though, and they have many options. The original and the cinnamon are my go to favorites, as well as the mango coconut! Would definitely recommend people to try once.
Yojimbo — Google review
The perfect place for this busy Mom to take a much needed "Mommy timeout." I enjoyed THE BEST lavender matcha latte I've ever tasted along with a delicious vegan donut (I'm not vegan and I loved it!). Along with the food, I appreciated the relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. I'll definitely return. Maybe next time I'll bring my boys 😁 (note: I did bring home treats for them to enjoy 😉)
Shelly M — Google review
I’m ashamed to say how many Revolution donuts I’ve consumed over the years - at least one a week for the last 4 years, you do the math. We love the donuts, the casual neighborhood feel of the shop, the manager Mr. Todd, and specifically the blueberry and gingerbread old fashioned donuts. Know that they change their menu monthly and are closed on Mondays, so plan in advance to ensure you get to try all of their delicious limited flavors!
Kiley W — Google review
First time at this donut shop. My father recommended I try it as he met the owner at a food photography workshop in Vermont. Donuts were good and plenty of unique flavors! Had the birthday cake, gingerbread old fashioned, and tangerine pistachio donut. I'd come for another visit!

Glenlake Park, located near Historic Decatur Square, is a 17-acre city park offering a variety of amenities. It features tennis, basketball, and volleyball courts, ball fields, a swimming pool, and picnic areas. The park also includes a playground for kids and a dog park for furry friends to enjoy. Visitors can take advantage of the green space for various activities such as biking or playing ball games.
I love this park, very well maintained with a great playground! We stopped by with the kids for a playdate on a Sunday morning and the work was lively. They have great basketball courts, tennis courts, and even a dog parl. Just another one of the many great green spaces in Atlanta.
David L — Google review
Decent park with inclined/declined paved trails. There are several dirt trails that branch off into the luscious thick thatch. The playground is nice, as well as the pool, basketball, and yes picketball courts. There is a small soccer pitch along the trail that overlooks the park.

Glen Lake Park is one of my favorite Decatur area parks. With a decent trail system, great playground, basketball courts, a soccer field (a little worse for wear at the moment), a reservable pavilion, a small dog park and a nice stream that runs through it you have a pretty fair assortment of opportunities for things to do! Go enjoy yourself!
Andrew S — Google review
Fun place! Kids can bike, scoot, or play at the playground. There is a huge green space for ball games and tossing Frisbee with your dog. A Gazebo is available for rent but it's usually open for folks to gather without a reservation. Picnic grills, ping pong table and walking trail. There is a basketball court that is regularly available for pick up games. Bathroom s are usually clean and ample parking on both sides. There is also a creek that the little ones like to explore.
Mikhail W — Google review
Very relaxing park. There are comfy benches along the paved trail where you can sit in the sun or shade depending on the bench you choose. I enjoyed watching tennis lessons in the distance and children at play in the play area. Restrooms are clean and parking is convenient.

Glenwood park is a great park for walkies for any doggone day of the week. This dog finds Glenwood park full of features any Fideo would find pupticularlly pawsome and include pools, courts with lots of balls from base to tennis.  I can fit upto 3 tennis balls in my muzz. This dog loves walkies that are shaded, interestating , and Glenwood has lots of trails to explore.  abundence of shaded benches along the path to sit along the way. More features along trailals include Bridges, and even a dog park.  Did I mention SQUURRELS! ? well squirrels a plenty along the paths here. The community seems friendly welcoming and will strike up a friendly conversation so bring your friends fuzzy and otherwise for a doggone delightful day at the park.

Very nicely kept place. This is a great place for birding. Dense forest with loop trail around a nice little pond. There are a couple of photo blinds on the property as well. Nice job, Boy Scouts on the raised path. Cool little gem tucked away in Decatur.

Beautiful little easy hiking spot in town. Makes you feel out in the wilds. Some of the trail was washed out due to flooding but all still passable.

Very small little preserve tucked away in a neighborhood. Not much to it, but there's a pond and a little loop you can do. Paths kind of mix but luckily it's small enough to not get turned around.

Very nice nature trail. Most of the trails were covered with mulch and boarded with tree trunks/ limbs. Trail used boardwalks adjacent to swamp area and a small lake. Many benched and sitting areas as well as a photo bling located next to the lake. Several area with dedicated garden equipt with bee and butterfly houses. Very quiet with lots to look at from herons and ducks to turtles and squirrels. Limited street parking.
Simon R — Google review
This is a nice spot. I find it easy to take different lengths of trail depending on how much I feel like walking. There are lots of muddy spots after a rain, but I haven't yet found a wooded trail that doesn't have that issue.
Vee M — Google review
Walked a few trails and branching paths all in under an hour and nearly all at the same incline on easy to walk well maintained paths. Very relaxing and with wide trails so it might be great for the entire family or a group! Free Parking spots by the entrances and free to enter. A viewing deck for the marshy bits was great. And plenty of seating every so often. I'll definitely stop by here to read.
[REDACTED] [ — Google review
Nice little pocket park. The outer trail is a loop of about a mile. There will be significant muddy and wet spots after a rain. Bug spray is a must. Parking is along the street, be sure to lock your car. There are sections with boardwalks. Dogs MUST be leashed. Sometimes they have goats 🐐 eating the overgrown areas.

Pub
Nestled in the heart of Decatur, The Imperial is a lively bar that perfectly blends a casual atmosphere with an impressive menu. Patrons can indulge in a variety of delicious pub fare, including their renowned Ol Fashion double cheeseburger, which features savory toppings like thousand island dressing and sautéed onions. With options ranging from wings and chili fries to poutine and hotdogs, there's something for everyone.
My girlfriend is a Packers fans so we went here to watch the Sunday night game New Years Eve. The staff was great and so were the Packers fans that came in. The food was great, we got fried cheese curds and I got the Southern Living burger, pimento cheese and bacon, so good. The building and the bar itself has a nostalgic feel that I cannot put my finger on, if I lived in the area, this would be my hangout.
Aaron L — Google review
I have lived in the area and never tried this place. Thought I’d stop in for dinner with my daughter after reading reviews and looking at the menu on their website. Food seemed reasonable and good from what people said. I ordered the chicken fingers which were listed as $8.95 on their menu on their website yet they are $15 when you get there. Also, it said included a side. I looked at the sides and got Mac n cheese. When I got my bill I was charged $4.50 for Mac n cheese so 3 chicken fingers (which were just fair) plus Mac n cheese side was $19.50. So much for a reasonable dinner! My waiter never even told me that Mac n cheese was an up charge. I would’ve gotten fries had I known I would’ve been paying extra for the Mac. Very disappointed in my overall experience and definitely wouldn’t recommend.
Allison B — Google review
It's been some years since I've been here. Always had a good experience so I decided to come have lunch. Ordered fish and chips and I couldn't eat the fries as they were firm and very greasy. My waitress did ask if I'd like another order, however I declined. I finished my 2 pieces of cod, that were acceptable. I was charged the full price for the meal, I paid left a small tip and realized why my friends said they had stopped eating there. Needless to say I won't be back, but at least I have some good memories from years ago
Kasey T — Google review
I HAD THE POUTINE. It was different but very good...but let me tell you about the people and the atmosphere. It felt like I invited all of my neighbors and friends over for food and drinks. So chill and welcoming. I came here after a very busy day. So busy that I forgot to eat-btw, I'm a diabetic. By the time I came in, I was shaking and couldn't get my words straight. The bartender, I'm gonna call her Angel(she had on a rainbow halo), suggested the baked beans as something quick to eat. It was out in seconds and shortly I was feeling better. She peeped over several times to check on me. She eventually came over and personally checked on me. I was going down fast and didn't realize it. I know that was long but, just know if you come here, you're not just eating good but you will be surrounded by good people and good vibes.
A. M — Google review
The Imperial is a great local pub with patient & kind staff, great food, and an environment where everyone can feel welcome and accepted. It's my favorite place to have a drink or a bite after a hard day. Also for the triviaheads out there, they are one of the hardest places to play trivia in the area on Monday nights.
Josh E — Google review
Took my date here. We both had a great time. The servers were attentive, bar tender was skilled, food was fresh and tasty. The homemade pizza rolls filling could use a little improvement but the concept and portion size were definitely a hit for me. I also had a burger and it didn't disappoint. Nice char outside perfect temperature inside. Good work. Will definitely revisit.

Peruvian restaurant
Las Brasas is a laid-back restaurant located near Decatur Square that specializes in Peruvian cuisine, particularly their flavorful rotisserie chicken. Despite its unassuming atmosphere, the eatery offers some of the city's best chicken at reasonable prices. In addition to their renowned chicken, Las Brasas also serves lomo saltado on Thursdays and Fridays. The restaurant has become a popular spot for those seeking authentic international flavors within the city limits.
The food was amazing! Best ceviche I've ever had in my entire life! The service was great. Ambiance was on point! I cannot wait to eat here again.
Lorin L — Google review
Disappointed with My Visit to Las Brasas I had a one-time experience at Las Brasas today, and unfortunately, it was very disappointing. I ordered the half chicken, which cost around $20, but it neither looked nor tasted like it was worth the price. The chicken had an off-putting smell and did not taste fresh at all. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere felt uninviting—almost like stepping into the back end of a kitchen rather than a welcoming dining space. I also noticed staff preparing food without proper hair protection, which raised hygiene concerns. As someone familiar with authentic Peruvian cuisine, I have to say this meal did not reflect the rich flavors and quality that Peruvian food is known for. In my opinion, it did a disservice to the cuisine, and I will not be returning. I wish them the best, but my experience was far from what I expected.
Edwin V — Google review
Las Brasas was delicious! They had so many options we could choose from that all sounded great. A but difficult to choose from but I would highly suggest their Pollo Frito. That was our highlight and thought it was delicious. The service was quick and there is parking in the back!

💯 EXCELLENT, EXCELLENT, EXCELLENT AND RECCOMMEND! we ordered the family meal, 1/2 fried and 1/2 rotisserie chicken. Everything was tender and amazing flavor. Fast food restaurant
Skips Chicago Dogs is a nostalgic eatery that serves classic American favorites like hot dogs, cheesesteaks, and pizza puffs. The hot dog here perfectly captures the essence of a Chicago dog with its authentic Vienna beef sausage, but some customers feel that the bun could be softer and better steamed. The fries are average, resembling standard steak fries, although it's suggested they switch to crinkle cut fries for quicker cooking and added crispiness.
Excellent Chicagoland food! The Italian Beef sandwich was superb! Chicago dogs perfect! Very fresh tasting and flavorful. And the Peanut Butter shake was the bomb! Love it!

Amazing spot! Skip’s has the best burgers, hot dogs, shakes, fries, and onion rings in the Atlanta metro. Everything is fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. Generous portions, great prices, and a true local gem. Highly recommend!

Came here for a late lunch during the week, and it wasn't too busy. Mad at myself for taking so long to get here. Loved the vintage decor inside. Gave it the real Chi-Town fan feel. Staff was fast and super nice taking orders. I got the Chicago style dog and an Italian beef. Both were amazing, and what I loved about the place were the prices being so reasonable! This is one of two places in the entire ATL Metro I've been to that do a Chicago-style dog proper justice. I'll be back.

REALLY good Hot Dogs! Loved the polish dog and the snap it had. My brother got at a Chicago style dog he LOVED it! The pizza puff was just a hot pocket, we probably wouldn’t get it again. But overall, it was delicious and we would come back to try their sandwiches and other hot dogs.

2025-1 Update: As promised, I came back for the Italian beef… dipped, with hot peppers. It was just as I remembered from Chicago, although I wouldn’t get dipped….the bread dissolved making it a fork and knife operation. My wife had a tasty burger. Service and atmosphere is great. We will be back!!! Original 2024 review: Great place for you to enjoy some Chicago favorites in a Chicago styled fast food establishment. Great staff and food. I has a Chicago dog combo, and will be back for another of my favorites, the Italian beef. Many other items from wings and burgers to cheese stakes and polish sausage. Indoor and outdoor dining. I stopped by mid afternoon for a quick bite. Interestingly bathrooms are accessed from outside.

I got a Chicago dog and a Polish Sausage and a corn dog. They taste good fries are not included unless you get a combo. Vienna beef. I've been here several times just been a minute since I last visited. I got my food through Uber Eats on 9/15/2025. The food is alright.
Ahmad W — Google review
Learn to read first! Second learn to read your own menu. How in the world did you get the combination sandwich wrong? It was supposed to be half Italian beef and Italian sausage. Not leaving a good impression. This is my first time ordering from this restaurant. This wasn’t DoorDash fault it was Skips Chicago Dogs fault. Major disappointment and major improvement needs to happen!
Verciglio W — Google review
The Italian Beef with hot pepper dipped was fair. I added cheese which may be a sin but oh well it was shredded anyways. The combo was portioned well with fries and the sandwich was dipped and assembled expertly. The place is all about vibes at this point. If you’re home sick for Chicago, I’d recommend.

Steak house
Parker's on Ponce is an upscale steakhouse located just off Decatur Square. The restaurant boasts a stylish decor with cool colors and dark woods, creating a sophisticated ambiance. Their extensive menu features a variety of options, including sides like lobster mac 'n' cheese and healthy entrees such as grilled spicy lemon tofu.
Anniversary dinner tonight. Really enjoyed our dining experience. We had the charcuterie board as an appetizer, which was excellent (very nice portion as well). My wife had a Greek salad. She loved it. I had the surf and turf - 6 oz filet and 3 jumbo fried shrimp. So so good! The only thing that didn’t get 5 stars is atmosphere. I think I was expecting a bit more.

This was my first time here and it was amazing! This was a special occasion as I met up with an old friend ❤️Reservation at 5:15pm we were seated promptly. Our server Jerome was very courteous and timely. He was very patient with us and made excellent recommendations. The strawberry cucumber martinis were spot on! The ambiance was perfect. I will definitely be back

Parker’s on Ponce, nestled in the old Mick’s spot in downtown Decatur, has been a family favorite for nearly 20 years, especially for my mom. This underrated gem holds its own against Atlanta heavyweights like Bones, Marcel, McKendrick’s, and Capital Grille, offering exceptional steaks with a cozy, old-school vibe. Parker’s is just not as well known. My prime ribeye was cooked to perfection - juicy, flavorful, and a standout. The kitchen’s creativity shines through with high-quality ingredients and unique dishes, complemented by a solid adult beverage menu and great weekday bar specials (we had half-priced Gin cocktails at our Thursday visit!). The service is a highlight - Danny, our waiter for 17 years, consistently delivers warmth and attentiveness that make every visit special. The Scott family, who own Parker’s, are deeply tied to Decatur’s community, adding a personal touch to this family-run steakhouse. The ambiance, with its fireplaces and live piano, feels both classy and welcoming. One downside: parking can be tricky. Expect to pay $10 for the parking behind the restaurant (not their fault, just downtown Decatur). Still, the experience is worth it. If you’re after top-tier steaks, creative recipes, and stellar service, Parker’s is a must-visit.

Great find in the heart of Decatur. Exceptional menu selections. Outstanding Old Fashions, has become my favorite - the aroma alone is outta this world. Known for their steaks, but I really enjoyed my pork chop and greens. Our waiter, Eric, was super cordial and you could instantly tell he loved his job - outgoing and knowledgeable.

If you’re looking for a restaurant that has a bit of everything but truly shines with steak and seafood, Parker’s on Ponce is a must-visit. For appetizers, we enjoyed the Parker’s Caesar, tender grilled octopus (excellent), and salmon potstickers, which my daughter loved. The beignets were also a hit—light, fluffy, and delicious. Our mains were equally impressive. The lump blue crab cakes were flavorful with plenty of fresh crab meat. The choice ribeye was cooked perfectly, and the surf-and-turf featured a generous steak paired with some of the largest shrimp I’ve ever seen. I also tried the daily steak special—don’t recall the exact cut, but it was cooked to perfection and full of flavor. Our server, Hodan, was fantastic—friendly, attentive, and welcoming. The restaurant’s decor was stylish and inviting. We dined indoors, but there’s also outdoor seating. Parking is convenient, with a garage across the street and free street parking after 6 p.m. The mixed drinks were great, the food outstanding, and the overall experience a treat. Parker’s on Ponce gets a solid recommendation from me.

First time visiting and wasn't impressed. Made reservations which upon arrival wasn't immediately honored. The manager then came out and stated it would be 40 to 45 minute before being seating because they didn't have space. It wasnt until he asked the front desk person if I had a reservation did all of a sudden a table was available. Only to be seated in an area where there were several tables available. Strike 1. Once food was ordered it was then brought out and put on some else table, rule is food touches table it doesnt get re-reserved. Strike 2. Once brought over to our table it was over cooked. Strike 3. My waiter Jerome was great. Food was not good and other staff was so so. Not sure I'll be back..

This was my 3rd time there and the experience and the food have been consistently great. Very friendly staff and the food has been excellent each visit. Today my server was Danny, great personality and took good care of me. I ordered a steak and it was cooked just right. The dinner rolls were also good.

Chai Pani Decatur is a vibrant and casual spot in Atlanta that offers a diverse menu of Indian street snacks, platters, lassis, and draft beers. The colorful space exudes a hip vibe, making it an ideal place to savor the flavors of Indian cuisine.
Whenever I visit Chai Pani in Decatur, it truly feels like home. The setup has such an authentic Indian vibe, and the food is absolutely delicious. I can never control my appetite when I’m here - everything is just too tempting! What’s impressive is that Indian food is cooked and served by Americans, yet the flavors are spot-on and never miss. The staff is always friendly, polite, and welcoming, which adds to the overall great experience. They offer a wide variety of food options along with both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. Their alcoholic desserts is a must-try! Also, don’t miss out on the Pani Puri - it’s a total winner!!

Came for the lunch buffet right when it opened and had high hopes for this place! The service was friendly and the ambiance is very fun and festive and the food looked legit. However, I wasn't wow'ed by it. It might've just been that day, but the curries weren't all that flavorful or spiced, which is usually what I'm looking forward to with Indian food. The butter chicken is on the sweeter side, which was interesting, but the aloo tikka chaat was pretty good! The hot chai for that day was watery unfortunately. Maybe coming early in day is not the right move, so I'm willing to try it again! Lunch buffet prices (Oct 2025) for weekdays is $17 and for weekends is $21. There's some parking in the back, so when it's not busy it's okay.

My first visit to Chai Pani surely won’t be the last. From the moment we arrived, the entire experience was unforgettable. The service was prompt and incredibly kind, and our waitress offered us a free token to try out the Pani Puri counter for the first time! Plus, the Pani Puri itself was delicious (though sorely lacking in aloo filling)! Every single item ordered was an absolute hit. We immediately adored the Gobi 65, which is dry-seasoned with the perfect spice blend that - I felt - was reminiscent of the “gunpowder” spice blend commonly served with dosa/idli. The Zucchini Uttapam is a celebration of South Indian flavors (with an unconventional twist coming from the zucchini slices), and served alongside the very filling uttapams were the most spot-on-tasting sambar and pointedly spicy coconut chutney. The mint chutney and tamarind chutney that came with the delicious Samosas (off-menu item) were equally delicious. The Basmati Rice was also cooked perfectly and salted so well, acting as the perfect vehicle to pair with any remaining sambar/chutneys from the other dishes. Overall, I know I’m coming back here for the experience, hospitality, and delicious fare. Definitely go with company - it’s a colorful, lively spot with food that’s meant to be shared among the table! (Additional Notes - I’ve also had food that was catered from here, which was just as delicious. The Vada Pav patty is perfectly fried and comes in such pillowy pav; the Chana Masala pairs beautifully with the rice and some raita; the Pickled Slaw complements practically everything. Never a bad dish from this place!)

Me and my husband were visiting there for the weekend. One of the best Indian food I had since I moved to USA. The pani puri counter was the highlight of the evening. The vadapav was delicious. There are stings both inside and outside. Great ambience and the service was really good. Would love to be again if in the area.

Chai Pani is a Decatur staple and for good reason. Amazing options ranging from Indian street food to more indulgent dishes like butter chicken or saag. The SPDP is a must. We always start out with an order and oftentimes pair that with the Gobi Pepper Fry or the Samosa Chaat. Recently tried the Vada Pav which was spicy and delicious. Also tried the KFC sliders which are a new favorite. Great spot to try Uttapam, their naan is solid, and their bowls like butter chicken are consistently tasty. Chicken Kathi Roll might be my favorite though. Gotta try their cocktails here as well, especially any with some spice!

A very glossy flashy Indian restaurant with an amazing vibe and ambience and to some extent with a decent food menu section but an extremely delicious and tasty food at your disposal. THE FOOD: The menu offers a good amount of Vegetarian items to choose from, but most of the items are pretty standard and usual that exists in most of the Indian restaurants. But every food we ordered was just top notch. The taste, the flavor, the smell and everything was just top notch. We ordered Samosa Chat, Disco Bhel, Kids Cheese Uthappam, Vada Pav and Gulab Jamun. The Samosa Chat and Disco Bhel were amazing to start off with. The VadaPav was great but the Gulab Jamun was something else. The best and the winner. Probably the next best to the one we get at Yellow Chilli. It just melted and tasted amazing! SERVICE & AMBIENCE: The ambience is just wow! Extremely well lit and the vibe was so good. The atmosphere was just perfect for a nice summer evening. The service was quick and fast and Sam (our waiter) was so friendly. But the restaurant sounds noisy all the time. It’s like everyone talking at the same time and you barely can hear the waiter or someone speaking. But that’s ok, and understandable since it’s not a Fine Dining restaurant. BOTTOMLINE: A restaurant that serves good amount of food for the price alongside a very different and high energy surrounding with a flashy colorful environment. Would visit again probably during summers and probably not on a weekend to avoid the crowds and wait times. But an excellent dining experience on the whole. MY PICKS FOR YOU: Disco Bhel, Gulab Jamun, Vada Pav, Sweet Lassi

INCREDIBLE. it felt like home. I was craving uttapam and this hit the spot. I would prefer it without cheese though. The samosa chaat, and the dahi puri were the stand outs. We took our non indian friends here and they loved it. The pani puri stand outside was so fun and very tasty. Price was reasonable !!! Am counting down the days till I come here again.

Decatur Square

Park
Nestled in the heart of Decatur, Decatur Square is a charming location with a small-town feel despite its urban surroundings. The square features niche shops, restaurants, an open pavilion, mural, old buildings and gazebo that provide unique backdrops for visitors. It's conveniently located near the Decatur MARTA stop and offers entertainment at the gazebo or opportunities to relax sidewalk-side with a drink.
There are plenty of eateries, shops, and other businesses in the area. It's a nice place for families to spend time together and relax. The area has changed a lot over the years. It now has paid parking with limited time. I think that makes visiting the area a little challenging. But overall, it is a nice and accommodating place.
Catherine A — Google review
Nice space between a lot of restaurants and stores. Clean area, with gazebos for entertainment to play potentially. Artificial turf, near lots of large trees. Unfortunately, there are only portable potties unless you buy something in the local restaurants. Located centrally to a Marta stop.

I visited during construction, so I did not get to see it in full glory. They will be adding permanent bathrooms. Currently there are homeless people around and the construction causes congestion.

Omg we had a wonderful time at the Decatur Wine festival. We dance, sing, and taste all types of wine. I laugh so much, I cried. Lol. It could have been the wine.. 🤣😂😁 The square was nice and clean. We enjoyed every minute of the festival.

It is always a pleasure to spend some leisurely time with family here. My three years old grand daughter loves to run around in this well maintained square. There are plenty of restaurants around and at least two wonderful ice cream parlors nearby.

A neat space though like so many areas near MARTA stations, there's a population of residentially-challenged folks. They didn't disturb us as we passed through and we didn't disturb them. So many different restaurants and bar spaces and generally cool shopping spots. We had a good time!
Bruce K — Google review
Very nice park with an awesome community garden and historic info. Plenty of seating, tables with umbrellas for eating or resting. A lot of shops. A pleasant surprise to run into and enjoy. The only down side is the homeless hang around and while that does not bother me what so ever and do not bother anyone the trash that is left behind is crazy. Its obvious that its not tourists or visitors trash bc its mainly books and clothes, clothing irons, dirty clothes, and rando trash left in heaping piles. A side from that one thing a pretty neat place.

Eddie's Attic is a beloved music venue located in Decatur, just a short drive from downtown Atlanta. It is renowned for its cozy and intimate atmosphere, with a strong focus on showcasing talented singer-songwriters. The venue hosts both emerging artists and well-established musicians, creating an environment that allows for deep connections between performers and the audience. Despite founder Eddie Owen moving on to other projects, Eddie's Attic remains a popular spot for discovering local talents and enjoying acclaimed acts.
1st visit and had a great time! Saw 2 shows - Between Dreams session and Adam Warner - all put on a very solid show! Eddie’s Attic is a very intimate venue. Server was terrific. Ordered a burger and fries and it was really good for bar food. Drinks (wine) is on the pricey side. The seats are very uncomfortable though. They also have a roof top patio/bar that looks well setup. Overall highly recommend! Wish they had a similar venue in the area I live. Looking forward to another visit.

Amazing intimate venue to experience top talent up close and personal. The historical lineup of artist who have stood on their stage produces so much reverence and nostalgia... its an emotional overload if you sit and think about it for too long, lol. Staff is wonderful from the front door greeter to the barracks. Clean and simple menu is just right for snacking between songs, and the waitress makes sure you are never left wanting.

Great venue for talent to perform in an intimate setting! The waiter was great and so was the food. Only drawback is parking, but that's manageable.
Bishop S — Google review
Parking is still difficult to find, the lot right behind the venue is $20 for anything over 2h. Seats are uncomfortable for sitting more than 2 hours. Food is good, bit a little pricey for me. Ticket, beer and parking ran me upwards of $40. Plan to spend about $50+ per person. Still a great small intimate venue that values hearing the musician over fighting with crowds. Staff is friendly and nice. Parking is usually difficult to find, and some of the people in the neighborhood are scary (homeless people are around) but the venue is nice. steep climb up stairs to a small but intimate venue. Good beer selection and decent food. recently renovated bathrooms are great! (Used to almost fall through the floor in the ladies room)

Saw one of my favorite singers at Eddie’s Attic and had an awesome time. The space is super intimatefeels like you’re in on something special. No bad seat in the house, and the sound was spot on. It’s the kind of place where you really get to hear an artist, not just watch them perform. If you’re into live music and want a more personal, stripped-down vibe, this is definitely the spot.

Nice venue with decent but not great sound (vocals were lost in the mix). Saw Mother's Finest and they rocked the house! Arrive early to get a good table or seat.

We loved Eddie's Attic for seeing live music. The venue has an intimate vibe where every seat in the performance space feels up close. While waiting for the show, we enjoyed cocktails in the outdoor bar. I highly recommend Eddie's Attic in Decatur for live music in the greater Atlanta area!
Margaret W — Google review
This should be a great music venue. Just had the experience of one of my favorite artists tarnished a bit by bad decisions by Eddie’s. You should know that they oversell this place by what seemed like about 20 - 30%. I did not know this. We get there about 5 minutes before and are informed it’s standing only. I actually don’t mind standing and would be happy to for one of my favorite artists. But this place has NO “standing room” you just have to clump in the back or mingle amongst tables and stools at the bar. Everywhere I attempt to stand or move someone complains that I’m standing in their way. ALL I can see is the backs of like 4 people’s heads anyway and no less than 5 different times someone tapped me on the shoulder and asked me to move. Like you are sitting on a bar stool at the very back of the room man. If you don’t want me in front of you, then you stand up and I’ll take your stool. This all could be solved if Eddie’s just didn’t over sale the room. It’s not that kind of place anyway. We paid the same for tickets as everyone else and bought months ago. I’m ok with standing if there is actual space for it. But don’t throw me to the wolves and ruin mine and everyone behind me’s experience just so you can make an extra few bucks. +1 star the back porch is nice.

Went here last Saturday, the food was amazing! Service was great! Our waiter was very informative about the food and answered any question I had. He made a splendid wine recommendation, food came out fairly quick. Atmosphere was dim but not romantic. A little tight seating but I didn’t mind it as I was too focused on the food. 10/10 my favorite dish was the octopus!

Great experience with a lot of Vegetarian options. Better to reserve before if you do not want to be on the waitlist like us. We waited for 20ish minutes to be seated. However the lovely neighborhood had a lot to explore. Atmosphere: lovely atmosphere with some noise which makes sense with all people there. Service: pretty amazing and super friendly service. Food: I loved the coca con seta but the Berenjenas was a little sour for me even though I love eggplant; The green sauce was great though. Parking: the county tax assessor parking is free at weekends but you need to walk like 6 minutes to there. Seats: both indoor and outdoor seats available.

I love this place! I've been 2x and both times were an awesome experience. My most recent visit, my mom & I were tended to by Jade and they're absolutely lovely and a very attentive server! We ordered the charcuterie board, drinks, plates, and desserts. Everything was delicious and filling. The atmosphere is sexy, but also casual. The ambience is perfect for a date night, drinks @ the bar, or dinner with the fam. Don't skip this place, you will not be disappointed. Never had a bad meal here. The food, the service, the drinks, the atmosphere, top notch all around. Tonight we started with the bacon wrapped dates and croquetas, two fan favorites and for good reason. The pork cheek tacos though…so dang good. The salty, tender pork along with the corn, avocado, and lime is one of my favorite bites around. Had the broccolini next which was smoky and delicious, then the beef enchiladas which are absolutely amazing. Perhaps my favorite bite though was the choripan. That chorizo with the heavy paprika flavor and that incredible salsa criolla on top…I could eat a hundred of those in one sitting. Finished with the almond flour tarta which was lovely, their fresh made cheesecake with blueberry compote (a must), and a nice glass of port. Our server, Cameron, was attentive throughout, as was the entire staff. Always a great time to dine here.

I went for a solo dinner. The hostess sat me at a table (rare for a solo diner but so so appreciated). I ordered the patatas bravas, gambas al aijilo and the ravioli de pato. Also got a mocktail. The drink was absolutely delicious! I cannot rave about the food enough. I’ve been to Spain 3 different times and this food was just as good or better than a lot of what i ate there. The dishes reflect different regions of the country beautifully and i will be thinking about that ravioli for a minute. My server was incredible. I will absolutely be here again. 10/10 dining experience.

Overall this is a great restaurant for a nice dinner. The atmosphere is pretty nice and the service is amazing. Very friendly, attentive and knowledgeable about the food and wine. The food was a hit or miss. We had a few different tapas and half of them were really good and the other half were not. Really liked the smoked eggplant dip, roasted carrots and chorizopan. Unfortunately the bistec, croquetas and patatas bravas were not what we were hoping for. The bistec tasted weird in general, almost like the meat was bad. The croquetas were just meh and the patatas bravas were too fried. It’d give it another try because everything on the menu sounded good. It got busy after 730 so make sure you have a reservation

The place is very quiet, I enjoyed all the dishes, the second time I visited them I tried the duck ravioli and I can only say that it was spectacular, the sauce was exquisite, I recommend it in its entirety and I think that the sauce should be incorporated into other preparations. Very juicy empanadas de carba, gambas al ajillo also have a sauce full of flavor. I would recommend this place without a doubt, and I will definitely do another visit.

The sours at this place are all amazing! We are from out of town and had randomly bought a sour beer at Walmart. When I tasted it, I knew it was one of the places we’d have to hit in person. The outside seating is great when it’s not too hot. We opted for inside up in the loft area. They had tons of games and a comfy couch. The kids had a blast playing games while we sipped. The pot pies they had were really good too!! They have tons of merch but unfortunately were out of hats :(

I was in the area and decided to stop by to check out the Decatur location. They have a good number of parking spots right in front of the property.  I entered and the bartender advised that he just said last call, but made an exception for me.  I asked for a good Hazy IPA and he served up a glass of Bright Day Coming.  They have both indoor and outdoor seating options. I walked around and sat out in the garden area to enjoy the beer.  The layout was cool and the bartender was friendly. I will definitely be coming here during regular hours.

It's Three Taverns so you know their beer is amazing. This particular location carries beers not available in stores and you should definitely give them a try. The brewery itself has a homey, rustic pub feel with a nice, outdoor seating area. While, they have an amazing IPA selection, which is my favorite, they also have a fabulous selection of sours and other styles. Bar staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. The beer is on point if you like a sour or a dark beer. I am in love with the sour asylum serries (genius name!). The dark beers are so heavy so of your into that kind of thing look no further. the other beers are great to but we all have our favorites. Staff is on point and always fun. When they have the New Zealand meat pie guy there it's dinner and a drink out. COVID practice is all staff always in masks, they are social distanced inside and have heaters on the patio for those not comfortable indoors. They also offer a sanitation and water station as well outside to provide you with water and hand sani. Love this place and the vibe! Before covid Wednesday nights were open like and they did movie nights as well. 2019 halloween they did a classic film fright night and it was awesome!

Breakfast restaurant
Waffle House is a popular chain that serves typical American diner food and offers all-day breakfast options, including their famous waffles. Customers have reported positive experiences at this restaurant which stays open around the clock. The service and food quality are consistently good, even during late-night hours. It's almost unbelievable that Waffle House operates 24/7. One can only hope that the employees are fairly compensated for working such long and demanding shifts.
Waffle House always sticks to their motto: good food fast. I got my usual: all star with scrambled eggs, bacon, hash browns covered and smothered, and a chocolate chip waffle. The waffle house was pretty empty and it was just a chill night with my friends. We were well taken care of by Shonda who was familiar with my friends, who go more regularly than me. She was great with refilling our drinks and is super friendly. Can't wait to go back!

Visited at 7am on a Sunday. My friend and I came in rather loudly, but the waitress Stacey is was ready for us. She was very friendly and happy to help us. We sat down and ordered. The cook ,Keisha, I think was her name. She did an excellent job. Perfect eggs and hash browns. My friend was mad about his steak, but it wasn't her fault. The waffle was absolutely perfect! Overall a great experience.

My fiancé and I recently visited this location for Valentine's Day. It was such an incredible experience, and we can't wait to do it again. From the decorations to the overall atmosphere, Carla and the entire team made it an awesome, unique twist on Valentines Day. All of the staff was dressed up, and even the menu was different!! If you haven't made reservations for a Valentine's Day at Waffle House, you need to do it! Awesome location.

I went here at 12am and the service and food was just as good as I imagine it would have been during "normal" resturant hours. Maybe its just because I've been eating horrible college breakfasts for a while, but my food was so good I nearly cried with delight. The server was also very nice in that southern hospitality way. It feels almost too good to be true that WH is open all day and night. I hope they're paying their employees well enough to justify the insane hours.

I love this Waffle House. It's very clean inside, and the food is delicious and comes out fast. And the service is amazing!!! I really can't say enough good things about the employees here. Everyone is very friendly from the moment you walk in, and extremely attentive without being overbearing.

Everyone has been to a waffle house in their life time... With that being said we all know how it can go either way. This one was amazing. Food was on point and service was amazing. Super clean and the playlist kept giving. It was great.

It's clean! They have a score of 100!! Those are the only positives. The service SUCKS!!!! Attitudes everywhere! Slow service and no personalities. To top it all off my food came out cold!!! How??? All we heard was"I'm tired, I'm not working on Sundays anymore". First time I've been to a bad Waffle House. I hope corporate reads these because they need help unless you all like losing business because anyone there today isn't returning we all discussed it!!!

The service was great from start to finish. As I was walking in one of the workers went out of his way to open the door for me, I was immediately served however they didn’t have the payment method I use and I offered to give them another but they declined and was very helpful talkative and made my experience great food was hot and fresh place was very clean I give them a 10 stars if I could good job #wafflehouse

O'Sullivans Irish Pub in Decatur is a top choice for those seeking an authentic Irish pub experience. With daily happy hour deals until 6pm, including specials like 25% off wings on Mondays and a $15 burger and pint deal on Wednesdays, there's something for everyone. Whether you prefer grabbing a seat at the bar or settling in at a table, the inviting atmosphere and friendly staff make for an enjoyable visit.
This pawsome location transports you across the pond in terms of atmosphere and taste. We had a fish and chips. Which turned out amazing! Fresh juicy and with amazing breading. The staff was incredible getting us what we needed when we needed it. Many wags as we were left full as satisfied

I’ve been here a few times now and have not been disappointed. Amy (bartender) is very nice and helpful. I’ve never had their food but the service is amazing and you can tell this is a neighborhood gem. Everyone is welcoming. I highly recommend and will continue to visit.

O’Sullivans is one of those places you just keep coming back to. The food is always amazing — from the crispy fish & chips and creamy Mac and cheese to the creative themed nights. The staff is super friendly, quick, and really on top of everything, making sure you’re taken care of the whole time. The vibe is cozy and relaxed, with a great whiskey selection and rotating craft beers that make it easy to settle in and enjoy. Whether it’s for a quick bite or a fun night out, O’Sullivans never misses.

Best pub in Atlanta. Their Guinness is poured the right way, they always have the big soccer matches on the TVs (or the projector) and usually have the audio on, and the atmosphere on big match days is unrivaled. Great spot to drink before, during, or after a match (we pre-game for Atlanta United matches here and then hop on Marta), but their food is also stellar! Their scotch egg is as good as I’ve had (wife is English so I’ve had plenty), the curry chips are indulgently delicious, the Reuben egg rolls and pretzels are great, and even the beer battered cauliflower is fantastic. Fish and chips and bangers and mash are both stellar, but I’ve also gotta shout out their Reuben and the pub BLT. Always love a good BLT and theirs is excellent.
Pcarruth2 — Google review
Disappointing experience with misleading pricing and poor customer service. This restaurant has long had daily happy hour specials clearly listed on a two-sided chalkboard. Friday has always been fish and chips. That same board, with the prices still written on it, was propped up in the open doorway today, fully visible from our table. I even took a picture of it sitting right there in the entryway, uncovered, not crossed out, not moved out of view from the entrance. When the bill came, we were charged full price. The server said the new management isn’t honoring happy hour specials anymore and claimed that because the sign wasn’t outside, the price didn’t apply. When I asked for the manager, they repeated the same thing and refused to honor the posted price. If you’re no longer offering the specials, take the sign down, or at the very least, don’t leave it prominently displayed where customers can reasonably expect those prices to still be valid. It’s disappointing to see a long-standing, neighborhood spot handle something so basic with so little integrity.

There are no words to describe how great this place is - and I work with words for a living. We've been coming here for a while, appreciating the vibes, excellent food, hospitality, staff, Guinness pours, sports on TV, and more. Each time, we grew to love it more ... so much so that we made it part of our wedding celebration. This past weekend, Josh and I were married just across the square - and the thing people keep talking about perhaps more than anything is O'SULLIVANS! This place took care of us and our crew all week and weekend. Declan is probably the world's best bartender and manager - he assured me days before our wedding that I had enough to worry about, and to take O'Sullivan's off that list. He was so right. O'Sullivan's made my guests feel right at home. We had a rockin' little after party here post-wedding. And the next day, we spent mannnyyyy hours gathering as friends would come and go. They munched on delicious apps (don't miss the curry fries or the wings - oh and the pretzels!), watched all the football games, talked about drinks and life and travel with the staff, and had the best time. We may even forgive Declan for shaking up a bottle of champagne and giving us a surprise celebration outside. To Gareth, Amy, Rich, Caroline, Declan, and many other staffers: From the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU. You're stuck with all of us now - we'll be coming back forever, especially for anniversaries. SEE YOU SOON! <3, Janelle aka THE BRIDE.

This was previously known as Mac McGee Irish Pub. We spent a while looking for that as it was recommended by one of the bartenders downtown. We may have gone there at an off time. But it was not at all crowded and very nice to relax and get a drink. The guy who helped us was Irish himself which we liked. It's known for its bourbon and scotch collection and did not disappoint. I don't drink either so I stuck to my Moscow mule which was pretty decent. The Decatur square is a nice place to hang out but does have homeless people as it gets late at night. The train station is right there.

A buddy and I decided to hit up Farm Burger for a much-needed break, and it did not disappoint !!! Justice, the guy who took our order, was super friendly and really patient with us. He went through the menu in detail and even came back a few times to check on us after bringing our food. They burgers were fresh, juicy, and tasty!!! The fries were loaded with parmesan cheese and were hot. Loki came to our table several times to check on us as well and was extremely nice. Loki was great too; she noticed little things, like my friend needing a top for his soup to take home. The whole team was just fantastic. This place is definitely my go-to for burgers!

Listen! Vegan/vegetarian friends! You need to try the housemade vegan burger!! It is amazing 👏🏼!! Everything about it was delicious 😋! I am 50 minutes away and I can't wait until my next visit! Plenty of parking for patrons. The bathrooms are clean as well! The whole vibe here is welcoming! My hubs and daughter both got the chicken burger (#4) and both said it was so good and juicy 🤤! My last visit was not good experience which was reflected in my review. The owner reached out to me via email requesting that I return to try again. He was very professional and friendly. I went back and this time it was excellent! I had a double cheeseburger with a fried egg and grilled onions. The burger was fresh, cooked to my request and juicy! The fries are always good! Thanks to the owner, because excellent customer service nowadays is very hard to get but it means a lot and goes a long way. I highly recommend Farm Burger. True rating - 8.5 out of 10!

I’ve ordered Uber Eats from this Farm Burger many times and it’s usually on point, but this one was disgustingly bad. Stale bun, nasty chicken with the wrong toppings, 4 day old fries with random green things in them. Gross. Threw it in the garbage post haste and went to pickup Grindhouse. Get it together.
Brian M — Google review
It was my first time trying it, and the food was pretty good. I just wish the caramalized onions were cut thinner on the burger, and the other burger had so much arugula on it. I love the house cut fries, and the shake was delicious. I would check this place out again.
Alexa M — Google review
Tried this spot after seeing great reviews, but we were kinda disappointed. Service was fast and friendly. The place is pretty cool but we thought the food was a little overrated. The Farm Burger was bland, and the bun wasn’t even warm. The double burger was over-charred, though the bacon added a nice smokey flavor. The onion rings were the best part and I’m usually not a fan of onions rings.

Japanese restaurant
Brush Sushi Izakaya is a high-end Japanese restaurant located in downtown Decatur, offering a modern take on traditional cuisine. The restaurant prides itself on its simplicity and elevating flavors, evident in dishes like the Duck Shoyu ramen with chicken and duck broth, seared miso duck chashu, bamboo shoot, scallion, and yuzu kosho.
It was very good sushi. My complaint was with the pairing. Was told that would be 5 to 6 pairings but was only offered 4... Those also seemed to not match with the pairs and almost seemed as an after thought. Reviews also discussed that sushi was a masterpiece to look at. During the omasake the presentation was as expected and nothing unusual. The sushi itself was very good though.

Brush is a sushi restaurant, and it is amazingly great. We normally get the Chef special and each bite is amazing. Prepared fresh and explained by the master sushi chef, it is well worth it. Great sake selection and upscale decor. Excellent service and food. Highly recommend for a treat.
Paul D — Google review
We came here for a brunch. Very fresh nigiri and chirashi don. Presentation was top notch. Ramen broth was very tasty and noodles texture was just right. However, chicken meat was really salty. Kushikatsu was crunch but not overwhelming with the breading. Service was great but pretty slow. Price is little too high for the quality. Although I had better quality Japanese dishes before from other places this place has its own beauty. If you want to try out Izakaya style food this place is definitely one of the better places.

High-quality, fresh, meticulously prepared food - some of the best tasting fish I have ever tried. Great service and atmosphere. Bit pricey but after sampling some of the other sushi places in the Atlanta area, my wife and I always return to Brush.

Favorite spot for sushi in atlanta, everything was delicious. Had the tasting menu (izakaya) and it was so good. We went on a weeknight so it was very cheap. Only downside was it wasn't too much food but it was still very much worth it. The sushi chefs explained each course and where they were sourced from (pretty much everything was flown in from japan). The tamago (egg) was amazing. We also had some sides like the rice bowl and some dumplings which were also great. Great selection of sake and the mixed drinks were great too. Highly recommended
Victor B — Google review
Updating my ratings to five Star. My friends and I came here for the 20-course omakase meal. I have tried this culinary delight in many cities and multiple countries. Brush Sushi Izakaya did not disappoint. We were impressed with the fresh wasabi made straight from the root in front of you. I especially like the cold seared sushi. The coal gave it a taste contrast that just burst in your mouth. One of my friends love the squid, which we received several parts of a squid from the same hose squid. Another friend liked the perch. Everyone enjoyed the light dessert at the end. Jason, our chef tonight, was highly skilled and kind and modest. The waitress, Jenna, was awesome and she explained each of the dish to us. If I could make two suggestions for improvement. The first would be the speed of the dishes coming out. At several moments, especially the beginning, we felt rushed. I would have preferred to have been able to smell the fish, slowly consume it and then talk about it as a group without the next dish already being pushed upon us. The other feedback would be to not pair the caviar and tobiko together. Those two fish eggs ideas fought for the attention of your taste buds without quite complimenting each other. I've included pictures, but it may be separate from this post as this is my second review for this restaurant. ---- February 2022: The negiri was excellent. I especially liked the scallop which was fresh, generous and tasty. The duck bao was good in that the duck meat was tender and delicious and generous also, but the bun was chewy rather than fluffy. The salmon citrus roll is poorly executed as the citron overpowered the taste of everything else. The service was friendly and responsive.
Minh H — Google review
This place is on par with Umi for the best upscale sushi in Atlanta. You won’t find crunch rolls or other Americanized items here. Expect the highest quality fish and expect to pay for it. Amazing service as well.
Duncan M — Google review
Good drinks, starters, and side dishes. The ramen was decent, but not great. The broth, noodles, and meat were all good, but nothing special. I did think it was much better the second time than the first time I had it. I really enjoyed the tuna tartare the first time I came here. The lotus root chips were a great contrast with the tartare. The second time I thought that the tuna poke was the appetizer winner. The texture and taste of the sauce were both great. The presentation of the gyoza was better than the taste. They were a little soggy and not very flavorful. The pork belly skewers were tasty. They had good flavor. The service was good the first time, and excellent the second time. Our waitress was very personable and made some great suggestions. I do not care for sushi, so I cannot fairly judge that. My friend thought it was excellent. I also really enjoyed my cocktails both times. The first time I had a spin-off of an old fashioned. The second time I ordered off the menu and had a French 75. It was well-made. And yes, they do have a special soy sauce mixture in a bottle. I have seen some reviews that did not appreciate the spray bottle. Our waitress explained that they sauce was very time consuming to make, and that the spray bottle helps control the amount you use. Thus, you can use as much sauce as you like without losing the flavor of the food.

Pub
Located in Decatur, Brick Store Pub is a popular beer-focused tavern offering casual pub grub like fish 'n' chips. The pub features two bars, including an upstairs Belgian bar, and serves a full menu of gastropub food. It's known for having one of the best beer collections in the country, with a large cellar collection and a manual of vintage beers available for perusal at the bar.
Food was remarkably good especially for a place which seems to be beer-focused. The beer was also excellent!! Loved the holiday beer menu and the 6 oz pours. That was the perfect amount for tasting. Service was cheerful, friendly, attentive, and all servers helped each other so we never felt ignored by any staff! But WILLARD was our main server and he was the bomb. He gave us killer food and beer recommendations. And the atmosphere is awesome. No TVs, no loud music, perfect lighting, just extremely good vibes!!! I need to come here more often!!!

I LOVED my experience here: food was great, ambiance was cozy and the people were the best! Don't let the "pub" part deter you. I'm not normally a huge fan of a "pub" but the menu looked great and when I stopped a server (Jared) on the patio to ask a few questions before dining here, he was warm and kind and happy to help. I dined at the bar with Jordan and she was so genuinely sweet, caring and happy. Sarah, the manager, runs the place with an ease and bustling joy, you can't help but see the magic in the air. The people love working there and it shows! I also had the pleasure of chatting with the owner for a bit and I can see why they've been successful, he cares for his people. If I were not visiting from out of town, this would become a regular spot of mine for sure! And they just opened up their private event space, how cool! In case it matters: I had the Trout dish, perfectly cooked crispy skin on trout fillet. Lovely puree and arugula citrus salad. YUM! Flourless chocolate cake hit the spot and the "Tittle Pop" popcorn is a yummy snack as well!

Arugula salad with turkey Same with chicken salad We had a great at the Brick Store in Decatur. The weather was nice that Sunday afternoon, so we decided use their outdoor seating. We have great service. The atmosphere outside was full of life, with people finding many ways to enjoy the weather. 3 of us dined. Our meals were Arugula Salad with Turkey, Arugula Salad with Chicken Salad, and Fish & Chips. The Fish was a large serving of Fried Cod. The fish tasted like fish. Cod is my least favorite restaurant fish. I oredered the Arugula Salad with Chicken Salad. That was really good! I had been traveling needed some greens. This fit the bill! It was a nice size salad that included pecans and feta cheese, among other salad stuff, with a balsamic vinegar dressing. The chicken salad was simple with celery, onion, and pickles. Both of the Arugula Salads needed some more dressing. The charcuterie board was delicious! We also enjoyed a couple of beers, an American IPA called 'A Night on Ponce' from Three Taverns brewing and  a fruited blonde ale called 'Sorry, not Sour' from Prarie brewing. The IPA was good, it had a heavy citrus flavor and was mild with the hops. The blonde ale was very sweet. To me it seemed more like a fruit seltzer.

I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich, and it was delicious, just what I was looking for. I'm so happy a pub has "healthy" options for food. I travel alone a lot and tend to pick pubs because it is easy to blend in. Most only have fried foods. This was a great find and will come back. Ordered the flowers chocolate cake, never tried before. It is good, thick, and just a bit dry. Maybe a chocolate, raspberry, or caramel sauce drizzle would take it to the next level. Still gonna eat the whole thing. 😋

Honestly it's been me and my wife's favorite date night restaurant for like the past 10 years. It's right at 45 mins away from us but more than worth the drive every time. We've found multiple micro brewery beers that are amazing that were suggested by a very knowledgeable and passionate staff. The other patrons have always been curtious and well mannered. Honestly everything about this place is something to love, I genuinely can't think of a critique. * just a little side note: one Christmas I got my wife some personalized action figure/ dolls made to look like me and her. The plastic case background could also be personalized. I took a photo of the Brick Store as the backdrop. It was a nerdy gift, but she found it cute.

Restaurant
No. 246, also known as Two Four Six, is a popular Italian restaurant located in central Decatur. The restaurant offers a modern space with Italian vintage decor and serves inventive Italian dishes made from locally sourced ingredients. The menu features a variety of delicious pasta dishes and wood-fired oven-baked pizzas, along with main courses like half-roasted chicken and Scottish salmon. Chefs Ford Fry and Drew Belline have crafted the menu to showcase authentic flavors using culinary techniques from Italy.
No. 246 is an incredible Italian spot—everything we ordered was delicious, but let me tell you… the cheesy bread stole the show. It was seriously the best thing I have ever tasted! Soft, gooey, and packed with flavor. The rest of the food was top-notch too, and the atmosphere made it a perfect dining experience. Can’t wait to come back!

Took my girlfriend on a date here. We loved it. It’s very casual but the food feels fancy. The atmosphere is very loud, which I didn’t expect from the photos. The tables were also very close together, I could hear everything from the people on their dates to the left and right of me. Otherwise, the walls were pretty and the whole restaurant was decorated very nicely. The food was amazing, I just heard you have to be careful what you order. The cheesy bread apps were amazing. It is a nice place for a date. Only took 1 star off of service because we ordered sparkling water which was $7 for a $1 bottle. And the waiter would come and pour it as often as she could (even if we only took a sip) so she could charge us for multiple bottles and raise the price of the tab.

Visited for my birthday. Definitely recommend reservations. Had a lovely dinner. The atmosphere gives very cozy. In a great location parking is near only 1 min walk. Food was 7.5. Cheesy garlic bread was very salty and kinda burnt at bottom. The meat ball is definitely the star. My table had Chicken Scallopinni was good but side pastas lacked flavor. Waiter Josh was very kind, knowledgeable and made sure to take care of us. Over all it’s a great experience to visit for yourself.

Came her for brunch after church. My absolute favorite thing was the pre-meal snacks! Such a clever and elevated departure to the standard table bread and butter. I'm a foodie who loves variety and having 4 snacks to nibble on before my meal was phenomenal. We ordered the pancake for the table and it was so so good. Fluffy with crispy edges. Not too sweet either. It's memorable and I'd order it again. The entree items all looked delicious and it was hard to choose but I settled on the spaghetti and meatballs. I figured it'd make for good leftovers for dinner. I will preface my opinion that I usually prefer creamed based sauce over tomato based for pastas. With that context, this entree was okay. The pasta was cooked slightly past al dente. You could tell all of the ingredients were fresh, which I appreciated. The two meatballs were huge and reminded me of meatloaf, in taste and texture. Excited to go back and try their cream based pastas. I can always value Italian restaurants that makes their own pasta.

This was our 2nd visit and it was just as good as the first. We had reservations and were seated immediately. Our server was super attentive and our food came out on time and hot. The noise level was the only issue. It was hard to talk or hear because the noise level was HIGH! I ordered a peach Bellini but I could hardly taste any peach, it was more just Prosecco. We did have to send the espresso martini back because was very bitter, but when it was made again, it came out extremely sweet.

The ambience is really nice, especially outside. I heard good things about the food, but I might have ordered the wrong pasta dish which really lowered my impression. While the some of the appetizers, the ricotta and meatball, were really delicious, others had very small proportions. The fritto misto barely had any calamari and shrimp. My main dish the cacio e pepe lacked flavor and freshness, but my friends liked their main dishes. We ended our night with tiramisu which was pretty good. I hope the food would be better next time I visit.

First time at No. 246 and I can say that was one of the best Italian restaurant I experienced here in Georgia. I got the Bolognese and the pasta was amazing! The atmosphere is nice and relaxing. Great spot for dates. The only thing i didnt like was that the place itself was pretty small. However, the food made it worth it. The food is really good and authentic. The portions are pretty large so share the Caesar salad if u will. I got the shrimp scampi with a side of pasta. Definitely worth it. Lol my friends got the tiramisu and were blown away by it. They purchased another to go home with.

I've loved the weddings I've photographed here - if you’re on the search for a wedding venue that seamlessly blends history, elegance, and convenience, look no further than the illustrious Historic DeKalb Courthouse. Situated at the very heart of Decatur Square, this tasteful architectural landmark offers a refined canvas that promises to elevate your special day to new heights! IG @AlbionReid

The DeKalb History Center Museum is the perfect location for your wedding day! The venue can seamlessly transition you from wedding ceremony to reception within the same space. As a wedding photographer, I love the freedom within the space that allows me to photograph the wedding from many angles that most venues don't provide the luxury to do. I was able to capture the day from multiple perspectives and easily transition from bridal prep portraits to the ceremony location within seconds. I would inform all future wedding couples looking for a venue, do not doubt this venue as a selection. I truly believe it is the perfect pick with endless parking options very close to the venue in heart of downtown Decatur....seconds away from Decatur Marta Station as well.

Had my wedding here and everything was AWESOME! Our small group of family & friends loved it. Mallory is wonderful and very easy to work with, very professional and helpful!
Donna S — Google review
We got married at the Dekalb Historic Center and it was a great time! Mallory was there to answer any questions. She was helpful with a situation we had with our gift table and was very responsive and even reviewed footage to help us out figure out what happened. The catering team had a prep area to use. the venue was wonderful for photos and to host a 120 person wedding. DHC had a spot to store some extra supplies to make the transition easier for set up. It was easy to bring alcohol in for the wedding. As well as all the decore needs. Since we had dinner family style the back room was used as the bar which was perfect to give people a chance to step away from the music if needed. We enjoyed our time so much we ended up extending our time for an additional hour to make sure everyone was able to enjoy their time. Being in the square it was walking distance from the hotels we had blocks at and there are a bunch of restaurants to let guests choose from. We highly recommend this venue for a wedding or any occasion!

They always have a great free exhibit going. Very educational. I love being a resident of Decatur and being able to learn more about the history behind this great area

I have photographed plenty of weddings at the Dekalb History Center and it is definitely one of my favorite wedding venues! There is a ton of potential for wedding photos including the ceremony space, out surrounding areas, and the beautiful front steps. I always suggest that my couples get prepped close by at one of the hotels only a block away to save time. The staff at the Dekalb History Center have always been great to work with as well!

Beautiful venue in the heart of Decatur. Be prepared to pay for parking at a nearby parking garage. Vendor unloading can be tricky and the elevator seems to have issues every once in awhile, but all in all great venue. Love the natural light that pours through the massive windows in the main hall.

Visited this venue looking for a spot to host a wedding reception. The space is really old, dusty, damp, dated and it's not really functional from a logistics standpoint. Parking is a nightmare.

Nestled in the heart of Decatur, Toy Park is a delightful haven for children aged 0-10, offering an array of toys like dump trucks and play cars alongside traditional playground equipment. This community-driven park features toys generously donated by local families, creating a playful atmosphere where kids can enjoy themselves without any cost. While some toys may show signs of wear and tear, this only adds to the charm and excitement!
My great-granddaughter Novah absolute loves this park. We have a smaller park near the house but she always declares that she wants to go to the "big park. It's way more fun!" She loves going on all the things there. We spend hours there. Like that they keep it up so the children can enjoy it.

Decatur Toy Park is such a gem! It’s the perfect spot for kids to run, climb, and explore with so many fun and creative play structures. The space feels safe, welcoming, and filled with laughter every time we visit. Parents can relax while the kids burn energy and make new friends. It’s also so nice to have a free and community-focused place like this in the heart of Decatur. We’re so grateful for this park—it’s truly a favorite for our family!

We love this park! My toddler regularly asks to go play here and I love that there are so many different toys to play with (that I don’t have to buy or keep at my home).
Zohra B — Google review
My kids loved it!!! It was something for all of them to explore! My 10 year old found a pogo stick and was enjoying that. A lot of area for sitting, plenty of shade. Only thing is it doesn’t have a bathroom area so we left because Mommy had to go potty but about that time the littles were all played out.

A really fun playground with lots of toy cars the kids can ride. There’s scooters and bicycles as well. Nice seating area and benches for the parents. Loved being here!
Arteida M — Google review
Honestly, we really liked it! The concept is great and there are endless toys/cars to play with in addition to the playground. My only complaint is that a lot of the stuff was broken or damaged. That's gonna happen, of course, I just wonder how regularly these items are removed.

Park has variety of toys through out the park. Some pieces are broken but overall hear experience for kiddos and parents.

Located in the heart of Decatur, The White Bull is a modern rustic restaurant that offers thoughtful New American cuisine. Chef Pat Pascarella leads the culinary team in creating seasonal menus using locally sourced ingredients. The restaurant's commitment to quality and craftsmanship is evident in its handmade pastas, wood-fired pizzas, and house-cured charcuterie.
We chose this restaurant because spare of the moment and great reviews. Once we arrived we were seated immediately, our waitress Renee was fantastic. Since we were new to the menu, Renee did a great job explaining the menu also giving some great suggestions. Our espresso martinis hit exactly how we wanted it and the food..We had no complaints. Fine dining so that means $$$$$, certainly expensive however food was delicious. We probably will not return because of prices however was a great experience. This restaurant gives me the feeling of that tv show “the bear” after they were established. Food was definitely fun and vibrant. Any suggestions I will have is to lower the prices a bit, other than that I won’t take away from 5 stars because food and decor was fantastic.

Was in town for a conference and this restaurant was recommended by a staff at our hotel. I looked at on yelp and saw all the reviews! Yes we must go there. A quick walk and we arrived, such a cute and welcoming restaurant, we didn’t have a reservation but they seated us promptly. After we told our waitress that it was our first time (I think her name is Kindra? She was amazing!) chef Pat came over and greeted us! You can just feel the love he had for cooking so we knew we were at the right place and in for a treat. We asked for recommendations so we started off with the bread and butter (all made fresh, even the butter). A must! Crunchy on the outside and soft in the inside, amazing smell of rosemary and the butter, I have no words. We also got the shrimp, another outstanding dish, and the beets and berries (love loved it). For entree we knew we wanted the black spaghetti, and had asked the chef to surprise for the other two pasta dish, one was the CAPPELLETTI (my favorite pasta dish for this trio) and I don’t remember the 3rd one which was also delicious. For dessert we were told from the other Pat that his wife was the pastry chef and we must order the biscuit and gravy (lemon ice cream with raspberry sauce), the birds and the bees which is a chocolate dessert (chocolate with hazelnut ganache), and the Pavlov’s law. My favorite was the biscuit and gravy, so light and the combination was insane! We had two bottles of wine, everyone was so nice there! Absolutely loved our experience there and had the best food. Highly recommend if your in the area and actually going to stop by tomorrow for a quick dinner before heading to the airport.

This was one of the best meals I have had in a long time! The flavor combinations with the perfectly cooked pasta were unique and tasty. I had the short rib pasta with grapes which sounds weird but it worked and was delicious. The key lime pie had just the right amount of tart and sweetness, great was to end our meal. And Brenae was the best server, she was funny and attentive! Highly recommend for a special night on the town.
Liz E — Google review
Wonderful server - thanks Jonathan. Happy hour is not much different than regular hour, just some pastas not on the main menu. Think that was the biggest nit pick. The cacio e Pepe was delicious. As were the arancini. I’m not a fan of paying for bread. They don’t take cash.
Jen G — Google review
Very clean restaurant, great food & the staff was very kind. The fresh bead was amazing and memorable "but", you slice it at the table. The knife did not slice it easily and your hands end up dredged in oil and spices. Maybe management/owners could have the servers slice it at the table? Also, the restaurant was nowhere near capacity, but everyone was seated next to each other. I mean extremely close to where you had to squeeze between tables when getting up. We had no desire to hear conversations from the birthday man and two ladies who we were seated on top of. Suggestions #2, if the restaurant is not at capacity, don't seat patrons next to one another.
HAB — Google review
Took my lady for date night and we got there just in time for happy hour (4-6pm). Charcuterie board and crispy potatoes were divine. The bread and butter with sea salt and rosemary is a must order. We both got the black spaghetti and loved that too; we will be back!
Darrius C — Google review
We enjoyed our dinner at the White Bull. We had the rosemary bread, heirloom tomato salad the two different ragu options they offer. Both pasta dishes were good, but the bread and salad were the highlights! We went on a week day so it was pretty quiet and we were able to get seated right away.
Tonia I — Google review
From the moment we walked in the door, we knew. The warm greeting, the cozy ambiance and the energy felt like catching up with friends and family even though it was our first visit. We knew we’d be back. The drink and food menus were thoughtfully creative and inspired even my husband’s rigid palate to be a little daring. Our server, Dan did a wonderful job of explaining the menu, making suggestions and answering questions. What we had: Pomegranate Cucumber mocktails, Arancini, B&B, Black Spaghetti, Gnudi and Tres Leches cake. Everything was fresh and/or house made and was delicious beyond our expectations. I could go on about each item, but you can’t taste words. Just go.

French restaurant
Cafe Alsace is a charming French restaurant in Atlanta that offers an authentic Alsatian dining experience. Since its opening in 1997, this cozy spot has been serving up classic Alsatian fare such as boeuf bourguignon, spaetzle, and flammkuchen. Unlike other French restaurants in the area, Cafe Alsace goes beyond the usual offerings with specialties like beef wellington and coq au vin.
Loved our experience here. This place is small and so busy! Lots of people in and out which made for great people watching. The food was traditional and outstanding. Their onion soup was divine and their tomato soup was almost as good. I loved my Brie sandwich. My husband’s dish (crepe) wasn’t as good as my entree but still very tasty. Their macarons were so freaking good. We ordered the strawberry and chocolate and both were soft and exquisite. Their pecan cookies were similar to sandies but kept their shape much better. It also came with some chocolates that were very good. The creme brulee was excellent albeit cold. The vibe is amazing. We literally felt like we were in a cafe in the middle of France. The family pictures on the walls really made the place feel cozy and warm. The service was awesome. The owner was very pleasant and kind and welcoming. Highly recommend!!!

They have some amazing specials as well as solid menu staples. When you order a lunch they offer you soup or salad and we tried the Butternut Squash with one meal and the French Onion with the other. Both did not disappoint! Prices were reasonable too. I think 2 entrees (1 being a special) that each came with the soup and 2 drinks was all around $45 bucks with tip! If you’re looking for some delicious food in the downtown Decatur area you should pop in!

Can’t beat the cuisine. Anything they serve is amongst the best you’ll ever eat. Exquisite dishes severed beautifully. We’ve never had anything but great food here. The service is great and the staff is super friendly and accommodating. We had the special which was rabbit leg over spaetzle and was like coq a vin except with rabbit. Our desert was a grand marnier mousse with a pistachio macaron and was maybe the best desert we’ve ever had. If you’re in the area give this place a chance, we think you’ll love it like we do.

While strolling through the charming streets of Decatur, I discovered a little gem of a French restaurant that instantly transported me back to Europe. It had been quite some time since I’d tasted good pâté since moving to the U.S., but their pâté en baguette was simply magnifique — rich, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. To top it off, the crème brûlée was perfection — silky smooth with the most satisfying caramelized crust. From the warm, attentive service to the cozy, inviting atmosphere, every detail felt thoughtfully French. Un grand merci for such a lovely experience! 10/10 — I can’t wait to return and enjoy it all over again.

A tiny cute place, very unpretentious for a French restaurant. 12 tables i side plus two outdoors on the sidewalk....that's all. Came on a random Thursday, and every table was occupied. Wonderful for romantic dates be cause of its intimacy. Service was impeccable, not too rushed, not overbearing, and very efficient. The food.....OMG! The Nage de Staint Jaques (it's a mouthful) but basically it's scallop, shrimp, salmon, in Bouillabaisse (read: soup) style, was Out-of-this-world good !!!!!. If I was local I would be ordering that once a week, maybe twice on cold days! Decent, but not huge wine list. Prices are very, very reasonable. My seafood soup was enough for two people and was $25, while down the road, another place was selling ONE octopus tentacles for $28 !!!!! If you are even a little bit predisposed to French cuisine, GO there!

The Marlay House Irish Pub, owned by Irish natives, offers a traditional pub experience with classic dishes like shepherd's pie and an extensive selection of beers. The interior is adorned with beautiful cherry wood furnishings, creating a cozy atmosphere for patrons to enjoy their meals. Additionally, the pub features a charming outdoor patio for guests to relish in pleasant weather. With its location in Decatur and a lively event schedule, The Marlay House attracts a vibrant crowd every night of the week.
10/10 recommend! We had our wedding welcome lunch at Marlay House and it was one of the best decisions we made. We worked with the general manager, Michelle, from March to plan for our lunch in August. From the beginning she was so helpful and accommodating to our needs. Their food options fit all of our guests dietary restrictions which was big for us. The day of our lunch the staff was incredible! Everyone was so friendly and kind to us. We felt very taken care of. Our guests raved about how delicious the food was. The pub was a great location especially for our out of town guests staying in Decatur Square. The pub has plenty of parking. Michelle and the team made sure everyone was comfortable and enjoying their time. We came here because we had been craving fish and chips. We definitely made the right choice! The fish and chips and brussel sprouts were so good. We were greeted as soon as we sat down and service was excellent. The beer was cold and the Sangria was great! We will definitely return soon!

Approaching the Marlay House, I noticed they had a small parking lot right next to the restaurant, along with a sign pointing to additional parking in the rear. I quickly found a spot in the side parking lot and headed to the outside seating area where I saw my group of friends. I joined them, and our server quickly came by to check on us.  I reviewed the beer and food menus. The beer selection was okay—about ten options to choose from, including offerings from some local Atlanta breweries. I started with a Three Taverns Night on Ponce IPA. We were chatting it up, and after a while, I started to get hungry. I ordered the grilled mahi tacos and a Creature Comforts Bigger Dreams Hazy IPA as my second beer. The tacos came out pretty quickly, and they were good—went well with the beer, too. A friend of mine ordered the fried fish tacos and really enjoyed them. I walked through the restaurant’s interior, and it was dimly lit, really living up to the Irish pub motif. Everything looked very clean and overall I enjoyed my first visit to Marlay House and would return to try some other items.

My server knows us by our name when we go there. The food is delicious all the time. The grill chicken is to die for also love the lemon dressing on my salad. We are going on Friday for dinner again.

Great place with a nice Irish feel. Staff and service are excellent. British Isle food was very good with nice selection of their signature drinks. Much better parking situation than the restaurants around the Decatur town square. We had a egg breakfast, fish and chips, smoky chicken sandwich and their signature Irish Roast dinner and desert available on Sundays only. This Irish roast dinner was more blackened than an English roast beef dinner with a lot of smoky flavors. Included dessert was out of this world.

I can't say I was thrilled with the food. The interior is a bit gloomy😒, and it's hard to read the menu.
Nat S — Google review
Stopped by Marlay on a beautiful Tuesday evening. The outdoor seating was very popular and accompanied by a group of musicians. There was plenty of indoor seating available as well. Indoor pub decor was cozy. We were excited to see that there was a Tuesday menu special for small / shareable plates and drinks. Altogether, we ordered the fish and chips, pretzel, smoked chicken tacos, and deviled eggs. All were fantastic. Vinegar was on the table to sprinkle on the fish and chips. It was good with just the vinegar, but the tartar sauce was a nice touch as well (almost like a tartar-slaw?). The shredded smoked chicken tacos really surprised us and were so tasty. 10/10 would get again. Overall, great place with plenty of options on the menu. We pass by this place almost everday and it looks lively. We really enjoyed going on a "slower" day.

Kimball House, located in a former train station built in 1891, is now a stylish eatery and raw bar offering farm-to-table dishes with a French twist. The restaurant is renowned for serving some of the freshest oysters in the city and plans to start farming their own oysters soon. The interior and exterior maintain the energy of motion reminiscent of a transit station, with tiled floors, high ceilings, and tall windows.
This was our first time here, and WOW, some of the best oysters and steak we’ve had in as long as we can remember. Drinks were great as well. If you’re looking for steak, go for the spinalis, you will NOT be disappointed! We sat outside on the (covered) patio in the rain, and the atmosphere was lovely! Not crowded or loud at all. We will definitely be back

Good place for drinks and snacks. They change the menu often so wait for mains you’d want to try. We had the Hawaiian roll, it came with fresh strawberry preserves which were excellent! Our waiter said the pork belly lettuce wraps was a sleeper item and so glad he recommended them. Really unique and it had pickled strawberries which was nice. Dessert was the dark chocolate tart, it was too bitter for my but my husband loved it. Good amount of searing at the bar if you just want to drinks and snacks

Fancy place for oyster lovers. They have so many different kinds to pick from, each with detailed explanations of their taste profiles. The drinks were good. I got the scallops and they were juicy and very sweet. Definitely on the pricier side. Overall a good dining experience, especially for the seafood lover.

This is such a beautiful restaurant. We made a reservation last minute and arrived about 5 on a Sunday only to realize we had made the reservation fkr the floor Wednesday. The host was very kind and fixed our reservation and seated us immediately. Parking was slim to none but we found something on the side street. Their cocktails were great. We loved the old fashioned. The ribeye was perfectly cooked and had a wonderful flavor. The trout over blue corn grits was out of the ordinary and delicious. Don't forget to order the rolls. We will be back.

We ordered a ton of food and while most of it taste really great, I didn’t feel like it was “to die for”. Also parking is not ideal and not validated. The atmosphere of the restaurant was very well done. Our server was very nice and welcoming. We went for our 5 year anniversary, I emailed them before asking if they do anything and never heard back which was a little disappointing. Food Hawaiian Rolls - 5 stars served with a whipped butter and jam that were great French Onion Soup - 4 stars good and full of flavor, enough to split Kale salad - 5 stars the salad had a nice Cesar dressing with fried shallots on top Snapper - 3.5 stars, the fish was cooked to the perfect temp and most of the skin had a good crunch. The beans it’s served on didn’t wow me Duck - 3.5 stars, the Duck was good but the side it was served with didn’t hit the mark for my partner. Fingerling Potatoes - 5 stars, Crispy and delicious with cheese and aioli Mock Tails - 6 stars (out of 5), these were amazing and you can tell they used fresh ginger!

Park
Dearborn Park is a charming destination spread across 7 acres, offering paved paths, a playground, picnic spots, and basketball courts. The park features a natural and unmanicured ambiance with easy creek access for wading. Visitors can explore numerous trails but should be cautious not to stray onto private property. The park's scenic setting includes beautiful trees, overgrown plants, and a serene stream perfect for relaxation or picnics.
We moved near this park on Park Drive but we did not realize for a few weeks before we moved in that at the end of the street was this beautiful park. We were so excited to explore the creek, the trails through the wooded area, the small playground and slide for mostly little kids, and the basketball court. It's a great place to walk through and to have meetups with friends. People also sometimes have picnics here.
Khurram H — Google review
Ok for local residents but nothing to make the drive to see bc it's so small. Read another review claiming "acres of trails" - this is false. There are a few acres in this park but there less than a mile of trails. We were done in less than a hour going a slow pace.
Melissa Z — Google review
I really wanted to visit but im unable to figure out where to park. It's im a residential area so I'm afraid of getting towed. I wish there were parking signs. It looks beautiful from the streer.
Desirae S — Google review
Many more trails here than you might expect! Be careful that you don't accidentally pass from the park over onto private property as you explore. There are no clear signs (that we saw) indicating where that transition occurs, so check out maps on the Friends of Dearborn Park pages before your trek!

Poison ivy! Lots of it! Watch out on the skinnier trails where it is growing right next to the trail and on the bank by the entrance with the rocks and swimming area. Otherwise, very cute and secluded trails, we even saw some clear animal tracks by the stream :)

Nice shady area with a small playground, swings and basketball court, plus some paved walkways. Not as manicured as lots of the other parks, but has easy creek access and the creek is stone bottom which makes for nice clear water and fun wading. Bring water shoes as there are bits of broken glass every once in while in the sandy areas.

Adair Dog Park

Dog park
Adair Dog Park is a beautiful place where you can meet friendly people and their lovely dogs. While some regulars may not be as welcoming, many visitors have had fantastic experiences meeting play buddies for their pooches. The park offers a shaded area and a laid-back atmosphere, making it perfect for leisurely walks with your furry friends. Visitors appreciate the inclusive environment that welcomes all breeds and sizes of dogs without judgment.
Great place for a dog to stretch their paws. Water available for the pups and plenty if space to run.
Joe H — Google review
We love this dog park, it is fully fenced in a U shape so dogs can be separated if needed. It is also shady and they have a spot to hose off your dog if needed. Most of the dog owners are vigilant about staying on top of their dogs and making sure nothing happens, but a few aren't so definitely watch your dog to make sure things are okay.
Kathryn F — Google review
Great dog park. People seem to pay attention to their dogs more than most dog parks in Atlanta. There's also a higher ground so it doesn't flood after rain. Only downside is it tends to be empty during the day.
Tj W — Google review
They have a large area and smaller area, but no gate in between. A little rough terrain for a puppy but great for bigger dogs. Very friendly atmosphere.
Kris M — Google review
I just love Adair Dog Park. Get to meet some really nice folks, hear their dog story, and hang out with the pups - all breeds and sizes. They even welcomed my very friendly pittie mix...no questions asked, no snide remarks, or funny looks. Everyone had a great time on a sunny afternoon!
S L — Google review
We love this park! The people and dogs are always pleasant and I really like that it's shaded. The parking is a bit limited, but I haven't had many problems with that. Also, this is not necessarily a place where your dog will get a lot of interaction (like Piedmont on a Saturday). Usually there are only a few other dogs and often they aren't the wrestling/chasing type. If you're looking for a more laid-back, quiet park to walk around with your dogs, this is it.
Allison Y — Google review
My favorite dog park in Decatur. It's the shape of a U, so it's almost like two dog parks in one. My dogs mainly come to chase the squirrels in the trees. Plenty of seating and running area.

Fernbank Science Center in Atlanta is a natural history museum that offers free admission and parking. It features hands-on exhibits, live animals, and planetarium shows, making it a great destination for families with young children. The center also houses one of the largest planetariums in the United States, offering guests an opportunity to explore the wonders of the galaxy through public shows. Additionally, visitors can enjoy free access to the onsite astronomical observatory on select evenings, weather permitting.
Stop here on Monday… there were a couple of school groups visiting but it wasn’t crowded because we were between the science shows… more groups arrived in time for the next show. There is a nice mix of botanical displays, an area for learning about composting, dinosaur sculptures, an entire hallway devoted to frogs and reptile habitats, and very nice space and solar system exhibits … it is a learning center and all though it may be more directed at teaching students… there is a lot of adults that could benefit from… such as learning about how much plastic is in our oceans 🌊 and waterways 💦 and where it comes from. Science center admission is free but there is a box for donations… tickets are sold for the science shows. I will return both for myself and when my grandsons visit.
Rebecca M — Google review
The experience is still cool as an adult. I used to go as a kid all of the time. The machine in the middle has died, but the experience is still nothing short of awesome. The museum portion has shrunk tremendously. I am not sure if it's under construction or just gone all the way. It seems like the main focus is the planetarium only now. I did enjoy the bee exhibit.
Harold W — Google review
It’s a small venue, but the shows are excellent. The theater is 360 degrees, which makes the experience really unique. After the show, they also host a short expert panel discussion, which was a nice touch. I came mainly for the observatory, but since it was too foggy, we only managed to see one small star. Still, the instructor Steve was very kind and knowledgeable. Aside from the observatory and the show, the exhibits are on the smaller side, but overall it’s worth a visit. Plenty of parking is available.

The Dome Saved It — Random, Retro, and Weirdly Wonderful Hidden inside Dekalb County’s school district, Fernbank Science Center feels like stepping into a time capsule that still dreams about the future. One hallway you’re staring down a T-Rex skull, the next you’re face-to-face with a scaleless snake that looks like it’s been training for a Dune sequel. Then it’s on to real NASA hardware — yes, an actual Apollo 6 Command Module that’s seen space (and probably a few million field trips). If that’s not enough, they’ve got bees, frogs, and a planetarium show where Dr. Justin Robinson from GSU made everyone feel like we could spot a pulsar before dessert. The exhibits can feel a little random — like the world’s smartest garage sale — but the heart’s in the right place. The real win is the planetarium: part comedy, part science, all passion. Easily the best 45 minutes of the night and the reason this goes from a 3 to a 4. It’s free, family-friendly, and weirdly nostalgic — like if Star Trek hosted a field trip. You don’t come here for flash; you come here to feel small in the best way.
Durell B — Google review
Free exhibit but the planetarium show really adds to the experience - we watched the reef show. Get the Groupon! Apollo model and bee exhibit were neat. It’s about less than hour to go through and another 45 min for the show. They do a night star chat before the show that is really nice. Highly recommend. We’ve never been before but assume it used to be better because a couple of exhibits are closed now.
Katy L — Google review
We went to the Observatory to see the stars. The Host spent some time briefly explaining what will happen when he turns the lights off. He also shared what we will see. He was open to questions during the entire experience..We will definitely go back. Theiseum was open before the event and we explored it while we waited.

The Fernbank science center is a fun experience! I go there daily as a student as they teach advance science lessons and show us proper labs and safety. They have shows and fun experiences for people in the community to volunteer for which are also just as fun as being a student there! I recommend visiting if you are intrigued by how science works and all the cool things science has led us to discover!
Milauni R — Google review
What a delightful museum! We learned so much about local birds and bees. The space exhibitions, including the Apollo 6 capsule. The Nixon micro photography contest winners were brilliant! I would enjoy returning for a planetarium show and when the observatory is ooen.

Korean barbecue restaurant
D92 Korean BBQ is a popular spot in downtown Decatur, offering a casual and authentic Korean barbecue experience. The restaurant features tabletop grills for guests to cook their own meats and also provides outdoor seating for those who prefer dining al fresco. In addition to an array of spirits including Soju, craft cocktails, and draft beer, the menu boasts homestyle dishes like beef japchae and Korean fried chicken.
BK was amazing and professional. He made my first experience the most memorable. He explained to me everything that I ate which was remarkable. I can't wait to come here again to have this wonderful experience. Definitely one in a million. Thank you to my sister for introducing me to this exquisite establishment.
LaToya D — Google review
We had the A menu al around. The brisket quality ks top notch: The service is excellent. Our server Ethan was very attentive to every details and our needs. The portion was very generous for our whole day travel and stuck in traffic getting there. We definitely will stop by again when I come return to Atlanta on our next trip: Parking is limited.

I had a great experience at 9292 Korean BBQ in Decatur. The food was absolutely delicious and came out fresh and flavorful. The service was excellent, attentive and friendly without ever feeling rushed. I also really enjoyed the atmosphere. The setup with hoods above the table grills is a thoughtful touch that makes the meal even more enjoyable. Overall, it’s a fantastic spot for Korean BBQ and definitely worth a visit
Chris M — Google review
Service here is always great! The manager is the absolute sweetest guy you can ever meet and the servers always go up and beyond for all diners. We go so much, the waiters have our order remembered down to the drinks! Now what restaurant remembers your exact order? We love this place and are overjoyed they are now bottling the salad dressing! They have become our family! We love y’all from the Spice Kitchen family!!!
Michelle W — Google review
We really enjoyed our dinner here. Food was great, service was fantastic (shout out to BK for being awesome) and the atmosphere was exactly how it should be for Korean BBQ.
Ben G — Google review
The food and service were outstanding! My dad loves Korean barbecue and doesn’t get to eat it often being from a small town, so it’s always a treat for him when he comes to visit. Ethan and the whole team were helpful, attentive and kind! The unlimited is a fantastic deal with so many options. Our favorites were the spicy pork belly and seasoned prime rib. The banchan were yummy and a great accompaniment to all the meats (we loved the radish and kimchi), but each protein was so favorable on its own that you honestly didn’t need much! We’ll be back for sure!
Chelsea L — Google review
I’ve been coming here for quite some time, but since the new business took over, the experience has noticeably declined. The owners no longer seem to be present, and the customer service has become hit or miss. The staff are mostly young and inexperienced — they seem to be just doing a job rather than caring about the business or the customers. As a business owner myself, I understand how important consistent service is. For example, visiting around 6 p.m. compared to 9 p.m. (even though the restaurant is open until midnight) results in a very different level of attentiveness and attitude. I strongly suggest bringing in a more senior or engaged manager who can ensure that customers receive the same quality experience at all times. This restaurant was 90% empty whereas at Iron Age 90% seated tables at the same evening, and for a cheaper price.

Nestled in the heart of Decatur, Thinking Man Tavern is a delightful spot that perfectly blends a laid-back atmosphere with an eclectic vibe. This charming pub offers a diverse menu featuring unique appetizers and classic pub fare, including mouthwatering options like avocado and corn fritters, deviled eggs, burgers, and hearty salads. Whether you're in the mood for tacos or fried chicken, there's something to satisfy every palate.
This was my first visit to this tavern and it was nothing short of amazing! We came here specifically for Atlanta burger week and their burger did not disappoint! The cheese was so melty! I got a side of tots and my husband got the potato rounds. Both were great but I preferred the tots! This place seems to have some great specials throughout the week. We also loved the vibe of the tavern!

Pretty cool bar sitting in between Atlanta and Decatur. The bartender was very nice. We loved the decor. We only had drinks.

Went for brunch on Saturday. I had the park scrambler and my husband had the Dallas cowboys tacos. Both were really good. My only complaint is they need to deep clean the ladies restroom. Shoes were sticking to the floor.

Looking for a down to earth, old school, earthy comfortable bar in the heart of Decatur.. .. u gots it . Gets a bit loud at times later at night, and still holds on to that friendly family vibe, you don't see anymore in Decatur. Their beguiling beer/tap menu is bout 4 pages long by itself. The friendly informed barkeeps (EMMA & Davey ) are more than happy to guide you thru the choices and give an intelligent recommendation. No joke. I always gets one of their plethora of stouts, with their soup o day, Veggie Empanadas, & the vicious Deviled Eggs / Spicy Fried Pickles. Yum. Locals and regulars are always there and friendly & kind. Easy Parking, lot at TMT. Made a friend at this place.

Recently visited for lunch and was really impressed! It's hard to find good vegetarian/vegan stuff in the area that isn't just some variation of a veggie burger, but at Thinking Man we ordered these really tasty tofu sliders and buffalo cauliflower and both were excellent and came in large portions for cheaper than we've spent elsewhere for lunch. Even at lunch time in the middle of the week, the bartender/server was very friendly and attentive. We'll definitely be back!

Found this spot from a quick glance driving by and I'm so glad I stopped in. Best fried pickles around, their wings were crazy good, and the people I was with all loved the food! They have trivia Night in Tuesday's which was pretty fun, a little hard to hear though. Really cool decor, great drink selection, and the waiters are all super cool.
Shaun B — Google review
Great food, good drinks, and fun trivia! Me and my friends came here on a Tuesday for some trivia and had a blast. We got the chicken nachos and bavarian pretzels to share and both were excellent. If we came back, we would definitely order those again. The trivia was fun, but it was pretty slow since it was just one person reading out the questions and calculating the score. 20 questions for trivia ended up being almost 3 hours... :/ Might try somewhere else for trivia next time, but I'm still happy for the experience.

American restaurant
Restaurant
Nestled in the heart of Oakhurst, Scout is a charming eatery that beautifully blends seasonal American classics with innovative craft cocktails. This delightful restaurant stands out by offering a brunch menu that skips the usual waffles and pancakes, instead featuring unique dishes like their popular Triple Berry Jam French Toast. The inviting atmosphere is enhanced by twinkling patio lights and occasional live music, making it an ideal spot for gatherings or romantic evenings.
I've eaten at Scout plenty of times, but this is a review for it as a wedding venue - you foodie couples who value great dining should definitely check it out, it's a gem in Decatur’s Oakhurst Village neighborhood. Food should never be an afterthought at your wedding - a killer menu can really elevate you and your guest’s experience, and where better to serve said killer menu than at Scout? The restaurant emphasizes "quality produce, innovative takes on American cuisine and cocktails crafted from local and regional suppliers". Boasting an ever-changing, seasonal menu that sources locally and sustainably, the restaurant promises a proper gastronomic experience all the way from amuse-bouche to desserts (via cocktails, of course). Speaking of cocktails, if you’d like your libations to be forever twinned with your celebrations (yes, I meant that to rhyme…), then Scout offers an optional ‘Custom Cocktail’ option, billed at $250, for up to two guests, which includes a private consultation with their Bar Manager or GM, during which they will create a custom Craft Cocktail to your taste and specifications, to be offered during your event. This option is all inclusive and includes custom Beverage Menus for your event. Scout is located in a renovated building that was constructed over a hundred years ago in 1915, so it has character and charm to spare - the dining room is bathed in natural light on three sides, mainly from the wall of windows facing West Hill St, just off Oakhurst Square. Couples can get hitched in the simple garden in front of the restaurant, and then head to the deck patio for cocktails. There’s space for couples photos and guests to roam in the grounds out front, as well as plenty of seating, weather permitting. Seating-wise, Scout has multiple areas - from large tables that seat 16, to booths that fit 6 and 4 people, so there are plenty of options for seating your guests. There’s also ample space for dancing shenanigans as the night approaches! Oh, and when you go, try the meat and cheese board. You can thank me later. IG @AlbionReid

I’ve been going to Scout on occasion since they first opened years ago. It’s a pretty consistent experience, great food and cocktails, and good service. I love the space, the ability to get a reservation, and their menu options are fantastic. I mainly go for brunch these days, but I should see if they have any HH deals and also try to get there for dinner more often. I’m glad they seem to be thriving and hope they’re around for a long, long time.

Went for brunch and really enjoyed the patio surrounded by trees. The food was decent but nothing mind blowing, especially for the price. We had the prosciutto English muffins and CBH. Not a fan of their Bloody Mary. Overall we enjoyed our time there!

I am constantly impressed with everything at this restaurant! The Atlanta Beets Salad is one of my favorite restaurant dishes in the whole city. The Easter Brunch is one of our favorite family traditions! They do well with food restrictions. I cannot eat gluten. I trusted their menu and their servers and chefs! I wish they had offered us dessert today but other than that minor point, it was flawless as usual! The mocktail was perfect as well!

4.5 | wow, I wasn't expecting to love this place, but it came highly recommended by a trusted friend. the shrimp dip came recommended by a few other reviews here and we ordered two because it was just simply delicious. the meals were enjoyed by all of us. I just had the appetizer shrimp dip and the contender [cocktail], as I wasn't super hungry. I think the meals were all around impressive, and the waiter sealed the deal when she suggested the cookie dessert with a burnt marshmallow and ice cream top. it's on the sweeter side of course, but it was so so satisfying. the cookie is baked in the same cast iron skillet the shrimp dip comes in, and it was perfectly soft and crisp with a slight butter glaze at the bottom of the cookie. the drink were great, the food, and the atmosphere. my friends ordered the shrimp and grits, the burger, and the corn beef hash breakfast. all looked lovely, and they enjoyed it. though the burger my friend said seems more of a smash burger style, she would have preferred more of a medium burger with more bite. I think you truly can't go wrong with a cocktail and an appetizer here, granted that was my order. however, the waiter said they get a lot more traffic, though it was quite frequented for brunch even though the location is a bit more inconspicuous, during their dinner time. be aware that they do close the kitchen from 2:30-3:30 to prepare between brunch and dinner. update - I have been back, at least five times. it’s nice little hidden gem in Decatur where it's greater!

My family had such a wonderful experience celebrating a birthday at Scout. The place itself is rustic and cool inside. It’s was dim, relaxing, and inviting. We were sat in a room off to the side for more privacy. Our server was world-class. We tried the brussel sprouts and pretzel bites first. Charred perfectly and the cheese that accompanied the wheat pretzels was creamy deliciousness. Everyone was happy with their cocktails as they were very well-crafted. The main dishes and very fair portions were the star. The tender brisket is a must! The chicken and waffles were full of flavor, but could have used one more tenderloin as it was mostly waffle. Everyone else was pleased with their meals, including the steak and pork chops. I ended it off with the bread pudding and could not have left happier.

Dined with family. Started with bullet and ginger beer, deviled eggs (yummy). My entree was the salmon burger. It was moist and tasty, their onion rings are a definite repeat.

Restaurant
Taqueria del Sol is a local chain that offers a unique dining experience. Customers line up to order their meals and drinks, then find a table while servers locate them. The food is prepared quickly and tastes delicious, with options like soft tacos and enchiladas. The restaurant also offers a variety of salsas and chips, with the salsa verde being particularly praised for its bright flavor. While there may be a wait during peak hours, the efficient ordering process helps make it manageable.
The place was pretty busy on a Saturday night but we were still able to get a table. This is an order at the counter and sit down type of place. The woman at the counter was friendly and helped us decide what to get. The food was great! We got enchiladas and the fried chicken taco which was simple but amazing. The beef red sauce was so flavorful. I also ordered a side salad with thousand island dressing which was good but the dressing left a garlic taste in my mouth after. We still overall enjoyed our meal and would return.

Service is wonderful, they check on you highly often to make sure everything is good. Food was done before we even finished getting drinks. Pricing isn’t bad. I got the shrimp chowder, it was really good, along with a fish and chicken taco. If you’re planning or thinking of going, GO!
Shariah S — Google review
Order first then get a seat. Pretty busy at peak times and weekends. Loved the corn chowder. Has just enough spice. Chicken enchilada with lemon sauce is amazing. Seating inside and out on the covered patio. Will try something else on our next visit. Very popular and reasonably priced.

I really don’t want to leave a perfect review because this is our favorite neighborhood spot and we don’t want it to be more popular than it already is! Going there always fills our hearts. Food is good and comes fast. Menu is streamlined. Service is not fussy. They know what good food is and what makes people happy.
L S — Google review
You've to order at the counter. They bring your order to the table. They've a reasonable selection of tequila (only two good ones in the lot). The vegetarian selection is limited. The salsas are good (as are the chips). The prices are reasonable.
Narayan M — Google review
This was my 1st time there. My daughter frequents this establishment and insisted that I try it! Be sure to check the times before going. They are open for lunch and then close at 3 until 5 for dinner. There was a wait. My daughter says there's always a wait. It didn't seem like a long wait. It went quicker than I thought! And we were able to get drinks from the bar while we waited. I liked the process of going in to order and pay right then. Then you find a table and they bring the food to you shortly after. The margarita was so good! The food was pretty good. I've never had tacos like these. They were delightful. I look forward to going back to try some other items on the menu.
S W — Google review
A good place to meet friends and family for dinner in Decatur. Sitting outside has a really nice atmosphere and is great during the summer. The line to order can take a long time so be prepared to wait. I recommend the enchiladas and Carnitas tacos.
Emma C — Google review
Taqueria deal Sol is definitely a local favorite. It is always delicious. The place runs like a well oiled machine, and the staff are always friendly and helpful. There is nothing on this menu that I do not like. I also have the cookbook, and make the fresh salsa all the time for parties. People love it! Their fish tacos have to be the best fish tacos I have ever had. I always compare other places to them. I like to add slaw to my fish tacos. It is so good! The chili and cream sauce are amazing! And everyone loves the chowder. The skinny margarita is the best. It is not a diet margarita, but rather one made with all pure ingredients. So it is just tequila, lime juice, and simple syrup. Make sure to get your hatch chilis during the season. They are the best! I cannot say enough about how much we love this place!

We had an amazing experience with Callanwolde Fine Arts Center as our wedding venue! The space offers both beautiful indoor and outdoor options, so we felt confident no matter the weather. The gardens are lush and romantic—perfect for photos—and the grand staircase inside created a breathtaking entrance that wowed our guests. The staff was incredibly accommodating and easy to work with, especially when we had to make last-minute changes due to rain. Their communication was clear and consistent throughout the planning process, and they were very flexible with scheduling venue tours and visits. Best of all, there were no hidden fees, which gave us peace of mind when budgeting. Highly recommend Callanwolde for anyone looking for a charming, elegant, and stress-free wedding venue!

Callanwolde Fine Arts Center was an exquisite venue for our daughter and son-in-law's wedding reception! We picked this venue because it was beautiful & so unique, but also because they had more options to choose when it came to vendors for food, flowers, etc. Also having a room for the band as well as other rooms for food and drinks allowed people to mingle in different spaces was wonderful. The staff were very professional in their emails, meetings and billing as we planned the details. The day of the event, the venue was ready and the setup went smoothly for our vendors. New flooring was recently put in that made for a great dancing space. I recommend this venue highly!

Really enjoyed the shady, beginner-friendly walking trail. The Fairies in the Garden event going on for October was precious and made our walk extra magical. Don’t miss the live music in the pavilion going on during the weekends.

Huge discovery today, went to hear live music free in the Garden Pavilion at the Woodlands Garden in Decatur. This is Seven acres of donated woodlands 20+ years ago by Chet and Gene Morse. Located on the corner of Scott Boulevard and Clairemont Avenue, a true delight. Many Champion Trees and the largest Bigleaf Magnolia I’ve ever seen. If you have company in town and want a nice, pleasant, ADA friendly walk, I highly recommend this garden. Free parking and free admission. NOTE: this is a dog free park so leave your pup at home. A true secret gem in Decatur/Atlanta area. If you want a beautiful drive back to Marietta or 75/85, take Scott Blvd. west which turns into Ponce de Leon Avenue. This is a four laned road that shows you some of the most beautiful homes in Decatur/Atlanta. Volunteer opportunities on Wednesday mornings 9 a.m.

Wonderful wooded setting of native Piedmont flora. Music In The Garden features talented local musicians in the spring and summer.

Beautiful place, even though many plants haven't bloomed yet still was a good day at the garden.
Natalie S — Google review
Beautiful, serene, and full of native plants, keystone species, and Champion trees of several varieties.
Jamie D — Google review
Absolute lovely and pristine place to go for a stroll and enjoy peaceful scenery, beautiful birds, and flowers.
Mary M — Google review
Decatur’s Woodlands Garden comprise a 3.2-hectare public park that is a key urban sanctuary for the residents of the city. The largely wooded land contains more than 30 species of tree and a wide range of plants native to the region. The brainchild of Chet and Gene Morse, the area where the park stands was donated to the city in the early 2000s to ensure its permanent protection from construction. Their forethought in giving their gardens to the public ensure there is a place for plants from the Georgia Piedmont biosphere at the very heart of the city.

The city hosts numerous festivals and gatherings throughout the year, including the AJC Decatur Book Festival on Labor Day Weekend, the Decatur Craft Beer Festival in October, and the Decatur Wine Festival in November.
Love this store! Such funky, unique and wonderful items! They sell locally (or close to local) made items. Great place to go to find something special as a gift. The employees are always so friendly!

I loved everything about it!! Such a cute and unique shop!! We were greeted upon entering. Said if we needed help with anything to let her know. So many unique and cool things to choose! After we found what we were looking for, we were asked if we would like our purchases wrapped. I love that touch! I look forward to going back soon!

Cutest shop in Atlanta area! They have the most amazing stuff. They have so many things to look at (and buy😅). And the staff are so friendly, and knowledgeable! I would definitely go again!

I love this place I would buy everything for myself. Great spot to shop for gifts of all kinds.

Such a great online experience! I live in Illinois and was looking for a local shop to get a gift for a relative in Decatur. The online shopping experience was so easy and I found the perfect gifts! I went to checkout and realized that I needed wrapping, so I called and the woman on the phone was so nice! She happily told me she’d wrap my purchase and deliver it that day locally. The gift was delivered this afternoon and I just shopped this morning! Great selection, great service. I wish I could go in person.

I absolutely love this little shop in Decatur! They support so many small artists, and the staff is so friendly. It is full of so many little treasures, and there is truly something for everyone in here.

New American restaurant
LEON's Full Service is a trendy restaurant located in a converted gas station in Decatur. It offers a diverse menu with New American cuisine, including small plates like goat cheese peppadews and bacon in a glass, as well as main dishes such as market fish and smoked quarter chicken. The restaurant also features an extensive cocktail selection and a spacious outdoor patio with a bocce ball court. Additionally, they have added gluten-free options to their menu.
One of the best places to come grab food and high quality cocktails crafted by professionals who love their job. My server Khalil went above and beyond to make it a 5 star experience. Would take pics of the drinks but they were here and disappeared in seconds 😉
Rubiverse _ — Google review
We were on a business trip and were looking for something local. We were walking through the area and Leon’s looked like a friendly and inviting establishment, so wandered in. I’m so glad we did. From the seater to the wait staff, everyone was welcoming, kind, informative, and helpful. They answered all our questions, pointed us in the right direction for what we would like to eat and their suggestions were perfect. I feel like everyone there really went above and beyond. We were lucky enough to go there twice during our visit. The tofu was AMAZING, the burgers were incredible, and the bacon with peanut butter sauce was delicious. I do hope we can go back one day.
Charles C — Google review
Besides our appetizers coming out before our drinks did on a Wednesday night when it wasn't busy, it was good. The server was excellent. I had a chicken rice bowl that was out of this world! Very tasty! My cocktails were delicious as well. Our appetizers were quite disappointing, though. Calamari was kinda bland. The peppers stuffed with goat cheese were just okay, and I can't even remember what the third one was, which goes to show you not that impressionable. They said they were known for their burgers and my friend got a burger. She said it was really good. Overall, I would go back, I just wouldn't get the same appetizers.
Michelle R — Google review
Nice outdoor ambience. The dinner menu is quite small but it offers something for all tastes. We had the steak and trout. Both were good but the trout was overloaded with garlic. We liked that both meals came with a variety of veggies.
Tonia I — Google review
Great service, cool spot to sit down and eat. If it’s busy you can always walk around the town while you wait! Food was decent, drinks super good! Charcuterie board was nice but the burger a tad underseasoned - easy fix with a tad manual intervention. Good on it was perfect 👌 definitely give this place a sit
Nathan B — Google review
Great outdoor ambience. Plenty of shade. Even though we were seated outdoors, the passing of cars and pedestrians did not hinder our conversation at a medium to low decibel. While we could hear other diners conversing, we could not actively make out what they were discussing. The food and drinks are divine! I had a hibiscus inspired drink that was truly delicious. It was floral and sweet and hot the right spot. I also had the mushroom Swiss burger that was absolutely yummy! I can't say enough about the French fries and the multiple flavors of dipping options offered. Amazing. Perfect for friend meetup, casual dates, family, and most importantly to me, their patio is pup friendly!
Renee H — Google review
Good environment with good food, the staff and customer service is really good, but sometimes went too much to check you in your table more than 3 different employees in a short time range of difference but it's okay the prices are not too crazy and the decoration is so good, they have different ambient rooms to eat indoor and outdoor, I'm full recommended the chicken sandwich 🥪
Andres M — Google review
Cool spot, easy to walk to. Shout to Jessica, Kahlil, and manager Cam. They were all very personable and helpful. Rare 5 star for me, will return just to hang out with the staff!

Pizza restaurant
Blaze Pizza is a trendy counter-service pizzeria that specializes in crafting delicious, crispy thin-crust pizzas topped with an array of creative ingredients and sauces. Recently, I had the pleasure of visiting during their grand reopening event, where they generously offered free pizza to all customers. The atmosphere was lively, and despite the bustling crowd, the staff remained friendly and accommodating. The variety of toppings available at Blaze Pizza is impressive; whether you're vegan or just looking for something unique, there's something for everyone.
The pizza selections is vast, reason why I came you have so many options for toppings and dough selections I don't do any sort of dairy, I eat vegan cheese, they had it! Also the toppings they had many to choose from. The line was long they did their best because they also were doing online orders as well... The inside wasn't the neatest but I understand they were super busy. Would definitely come again and recommend

We stopped by this evening for an early dinner and had a very nice experience. It’s great to see the restaurant back open and looking much cleaner and more inviting than before. The food was just as tasty as we remembered! One friendly tip for the management team on duty: please be patient and kind with your new employees. They’re the ones who will help keep the store running like a well oiled machine, and a little extra patience during their training will go a long way. Overall, we’re happy Blaze Pizza is back and look forward to coming again soon.
Sunflower F — Google review
Came here for their grand reopening on 9/16 when they were offering free pizza to every customer for the whole day which I thought was incredibly generous. The staff were also very kind and accommodating to customers and their needs that day. My pizza actually came out pretty good and I got the works lol! The sauce is where I wasn’t the most convinced but the toppings and freshness of everything certainly made up for it. Really did enjoy this place and was glad to see gloves were used (the last one I went to off Cobb pkwy did not use one years ago). I didn’t inspect the cleanliness of the facility because it was so much going on that day but the bathroom could use some extra attention. Otherwise, like I said great, friendly staff that held it together during a nonstop shift of guests so huge applause to everyone that made that such an awesome experience and thank you the owners that offered a free treat to its community.
Leslie T — Google review
I stopped going to Blaze Pizza because the last time I went, before the new management, the pizza was so soggy I could not even eat one piece and had to throw the whole pizza away. When I heard there was new management, I had incredibly high hopes that things had improved. I ordered a build your own pizza with tomato sauce, chicken, mushrooms, spinach, and broccoli and was really excited to try it. Unfortunately, when I opened the box I immediately noticed the broccoli looked dull and brownish. I figured maybe it was just from being baked in the oven. But when I took a bite, the broccoli tasted sour and unpleasant. My boyfriend even tried a piece and said there is definitely something wrong with it because broccoli should never taste that sour. I ended up having to pick off all the broccoli just to salvage the pizza and try to have a decent dinner. Very disappointing experience.
Tricia L — Google review
This was the MOST disgusting place I have ever eaten at. Slice #2 and I felt nauseous looking around. Every door was sticky, every table was full of crumbs and spilled drinks from the previous customers. Whatever was leftover of the ingredients were all mixed in with each other due to the lack of cleanliness on the counter. The desserts looked like they were sitting there since the morning, but the container couldn’t have been cleaned for weeks. Icing on the cake? Messed up our pizzas. The photos don’t do the dirt justice. Will be calling an inspector soon.

Was here recently and the place is looking lot better under new management. They really did turn the place around in both management and in food quality. The staff is friendly and pizza is delicious. Keep up good service. Very excited to try new pizza again.

My kids and I had the pleasure of experiencing the new Blaze Pizza. I was so very happy it had reopened. The atmosphere had a fresh feel! The staff friendly and joyful! The supervisors were supportive and encouraging to the staff. Now the pizza was the star with so many wonderful toppings, finishing sauces and toasty crust! I can’t wait to go back! My kids said to make sure I take them! See you soon.Blaze!!!
Binky B — Google review
I was really excited to visit Blaze for their grand reopening after hearing so many great things about their pizza. The overall experience was fantastic – the staff was friendly, the atmosphere was inviting, and the pizza was just as delicious as I’d hoped. However, there was one incident that slightly marred my visit. While waiting in line, a woman in front of me was on the phone and seemed to be bragging about how she was one of the first 50 customers to receive a free pizza and gift card for "free pizza for the year." What was frustrating was that she was back in line for a second time that same day, essentially getting another free pizza, continuing to brag on her phone call. To make matters worse, the staff even greeted her again as she reentered the line, which felt off-putting for me and several others who were patiently waiting and following the rules. While the experience overall was positive, I think it would be beneficial for the staff to monitor these promotions more closely to ensure fairness for all customers. I still love Blaze and will return, but I hope this issue is addressed in the future!

Manuel's Tavern, located in the Poncey Highland area of Atlanta, is a beloved neighborhood bar known for its homestyle pub food and extensive beer selection. The tavern is adorned with epic murals and features a well-worn bar decorated with pictures of politicians, journalists, and regulars. It has been frequented by notable figures such as President Kennedy and Ralph McGill. The proximity to the Carter Center has made it a popular spot for President and Mrs.
Had dinner here the other night along with a few beers and it was fantastic. Gotta love the decor. Mozzarella sticks were solid, French dip was incredible, and the ribs were as well. Overall a really hearty, enjoyable time.

We had a great dinner here on Saturday night. We sat ourselves and were greeted by a waitress very quickly. The service and food were both exceptional. They also have a pretty extensive draft beer list. We really enjoyed the Brunswick stew, Philly cheesesteak, and French dip. We will absolutely be back.

I’m so happy that this icon of my youth is still pretty much the same - a little bigger now, but still steeped in rich history. The manager Steve was very friendly - he’s been there for 30 years! The food and service were great. It’s just the kind of place that makes you happy and proud to be an Atlantan. The pinball machines were great. I’ll be writing a review for my local pinball mailer. I had all 5 machines to myself on a Saturday night, which was nice but also made me a little sad for pinball. Ya’ll come play these awesome games! They have Jaws, King Kong, Godzilla, Rush and Deadpool. All great recent Stern games.

I ordered my food through Uber Eats on 10/14/2025. The food is delicious. I got fried chicken tenders with fries and horseradish sauce. I wish that the fried chicken dinner plate on IG is a choice on Uber Eats other than that everything is great.

Manuel’s Tavern Est. 1956 Layout/atmosphere *Bar area with TVs and wooden booths; tables off to left; additional tables, TVs and pinball machines off to right; parking across the street Food/drink *McCloskey’s Burger (1/2 lb Angus patty with lettuce, tomato & red onion + American cheese on brioche bun) with tater tots - solid; tasted like burger from backyard grill (positive sense) *Scofflaw Brewing Co. Juice Quest IPA (draft) - above average; juicy

Iconic Atlanta right here. If you have a bad time at Manuel's, it's your own fault. The food is great, the drinks are plenty, and it's the coolest, nicest staff you'll ever meet.

Second time coming this bar. The food is decent bar food. My husband and I split chicken strips and fries which was plenty. A little expensive. Our server tonight was so hard to read. She was straight up kinda rude but then mellowed out and was kinda rude again throughout the encounter. Clearly she was ready to go home.

Old school ATL at its best. Manuel’s isn’t a place, it’s an institution. Three generations of my family have had the pleasure of hanging out here. Long live Manuel’s!
