Historic Sites
The Elvis Presley Birthplace in Tupelo, Mississippi, is a historic site that allows visitors to step into the life of the King of Rock 'n' Roll. The attraction includes a tour of Elvis's humble birth home, a museum showcasing his early years, and the original Assembly of God Church where he was first exposed to gospel music. Additionally, visitors can explore the Natchez Trace Parkway headquarters and enjoy hiking trails.
Visiting the Elvis Presley Birthplace in Tupelo is a truly moving experience, whether you’re a die-hard Elvis fan or just curious about American music history. The site is beautifully maintained and offers a deep, personal insight into the humble beginnings of one of the world’s greatest musical icons. The centerpiece of the attraction is the small, two-room house where Elvis was born in 1935. It’s modest but powerful — standing in the room where it all began gives you a profound appreciation for how far he came. The surrounding museum and chapel add layers to the story, showcasing his early influences, gospel roots, and personal journey. The grounds also include the Assembly of God Church Elvis attended as a child, relocated to the site and restored to reflect the era. Inside, a multimedia presentation recreates a 1940s worship service, complete with Elvis’s early gospel inspirations. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable, and the gift shop has a great selection of memorabilia. It’s not a large complex, but it’s thoughtfully curated and emotionally resonant. A walk through the park, past statues of young and adult Elvis, offers a nice reflective ending to the visit. Tip: Go early in the day to beat the crowds, and take your time reading the interpretive signs. It’s more than just a birthplace — it’s a journey through the roots of rock and roll.

We were pleasantly surprised that there was so much to do. It was great seeing his original home and we got to go to his childhood church for a service. I really liked the museum and we bought some things in the store. They have a 20 minute video in a little theater that is really cool too. The grounds are beautiful. I think some of the staff needs to smile more lol. We spent about 3 hours there. So glad we went!!
Penni S — Google review
This is an homage to Elvis and gives his fans an insight to what his early life as a child was like. The museum and grounds are well done and very well maintained. Its a very serene and peaceful experience. The visitor center is well stocked with Elvis memorabilia and has just about anything you can think of related to his career for a souvenir. It'll take you about two hours to tour the ground and museum. The museum is located close to downtown Tupelo and if you're food you will enjoy your time here.

Although we arent Elvis fans, we stopped here on our way through the area. We had seen the great reviews and decided to give it a shot. The grounds are absolutely beautiful and it's obvious they work hard to keep them that way. Seeing the old buildings was nice, but the fee to go in seemed excessive. It's $12 for one attraction or $2 for all three. The 4 star rating is because ofvthe high price for entry. There is ample free parking on site, along with five spaces for RVs. Our truck and 26' travel trailer fit easily into their space, but it would have been tough backing out of it, had the lot been full. We visited on a Tuesday, so it was mostly empty. There's also an overflow lot that is at the top of the property.

As big Elvis fans, we stopped here on our way through the area. We had seen the great reviews and decided to give it a shot. The grounds are absolutely beautiful and it's obvious they work hard to keep them that way. Seeing the old buildings with big history was nice Fee is $12

Loved going there. Didn't have enough time to go to the top of the hill so will have to go back to see that part but enjoyed what I got to see. I think the vine on the fountain needs to be moved off the dates some so you can see them better but I loved the look and idea of it. It was a nice museum and a good selection in the gift shop.

I love coming to see the Humble beginnings of the King Elvis Presley. From his small home his dad build, To the outhouse they used... Man how lucky we are to have modern plumbing! 😆 🤣 But seriously, Great place to visit.

It was really cool to see where Elvis lived and there is a beautiful mural on the wall that is breathtaking, but if your a true Elvis fan the little store there is amazing, I did not know there was that much stuff with him on it, I mean everything lol super cool place to visit, very clean well taken care of and pretty

Nestled along the serene lakeshore, Veterans Park is a captivating destination that beautifully blends recreation with remembrance. This park boasts an impressive aquatic center and a fun-filled splash pad, making it perfect for families looking to cool off on warm days. For those who enjoy outdoor activities, there are scenic trails and a disc golf course to explore. However, what truly sets Veterans Park apart is its profound historical significance.
Will you come here now a few times and love this park! I love how they have monuments that honor veterans. My husband enjoys fishing so we come here now to take in the scenery and do a little fishing. Very clean quiet Park with a splash pad on the opposite side for children. They offer swings and slides and a splash pad for children on one side and a place for peace, fishing, walking on the other. Always clean, love the ducks and geese that are out there. Beautiful flag display.

Absolutely a must see if you have not been by. We all should respect and honor our fallen and I would recommend to anyone to stop by just for a few minutes and honor their ultimate sacrifice for all of us.

This is a great place the playground part is. Honestly I never knew this place was even there. Someone in the party left a small fishing pole there. They took it out of the vehicle, but there was so much to do with the kids it just got put up and forgotten until we returned home hours later. They said maybe someone else will enjoy ( we'll probably never see it again. But all in all it was a great place for the kids to enjoy the water and playground all together.

My go to place for my dogs walk/run 3 times a week. Some great people and dogs come here regularly. Needs a lil more maintenance, but its awesome!

It's well kept. Great place for picnics, fishing. Always geese and ducks to feed and watch. They have a playground area for the children. Beautiful memorial Wall. Good place to take a stroll, stretch your legs. Just a beautiful park. We stop by there fairly often.

Johnnie's Drive In is a vintage cash-only diner in Tupelo, established in 1949 and adorned with Elvis memorabilia. This family-owned restaurant serves classic Southern dishes like chicken-fried steak sandwiches, BBQ pork sandwiches with slaw, and fried chicken dinner plates. Their homemade chili is a must-try! The place remains popular among tourists on the Elvis tour, featuring the original booth used by Elvis and various memorabilia on display.
Great food. Amazing service. Very reasonable prices. Everyone was so nice and accommodating. Got to sit in the Elvis booth.

True Americana The dough burger was not bad. It reminded me of a salmon patty in the texture and consistency. Prices are quite reasonable and the staff very welcoming. The crowd was a good mixture of locals and Elvis tourists. Worth checking out when you are in the area.

A must see. Just to sit in the booth where Elvis was as absolutely incredible. The service is awesome and the food is very good. this was part of our Elvis bucket list and I highly recommended it

I can’t imagine a trip to Tupelo without a visit to Johnny’s Drive In. We ate inside, but there is outdoor and in car dining as well. I can just imagine Elvis eating here. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. The food is good and the decor is simple wonderful.

So fun to sit in Elvis' booth! Great food, awesome service.

Old-school charm and Elvis history all in one spot! Stopped in at Johnnie’s Drive-In and had the chance to sit in the famous Elvis Booth. The place feels like stepping back in time — classic diner vibe, friendly service, and simple but tasty food. The burgers and fries hit the spot, and the prices are still old-school reasonable. It’s cash only, so come prepared, but that just adds to the retro feel. What makes it even cooler is that it’s just around the corner from Elvis’s Birthplace, so you can make a full little Elvis trip out of it. Definitely worth a stop if you’re in Tupelo!
Bill V — Google review
We went inside to eat (they have a small area) but they also have carhops who come out & take your order. It's the oldest diner in Tupelo & the wall decor reflects that, with lots of old photos of old musicians (naturally includes pictures of Elvis). The service was great - fast, friendly & willing to answer questions. One thing they offer is a Dough Burger which we'd never heard of. Our waitress explained it's a Depression Era burger, with flour & water added to the ground beef to make the meat go further. One of us tried it & she said it was really good. One got the country fired steak with 2 sides & he said it was great. 3 of us got the chicken tender plates with 2 sides & we could have gotten 2 of them & still had chicken tenders left over! We got 4 of the biggest chicken tenders I've ever seen! We took 6 of them back to the campground! The rest of our group ordered cheeseburgers & they were good - handmade patties. If you're looking for a fun, casual dining place in Tupelo, i definitely recommend it! The prices were very reasonable!

Johnnie's Drive In is a gem with a cool retro vibe, famous for being a spot where Elvis once dined. I snagged a seat in the iconic "Elvis Booth" and enjoyed a tasty cheeseburger, pimento cheese sandwich, crispy fries, and a delicious pecan pie. The waitress was super friendly, and the nostalgic atmosphere made the experience even better. A must-visit for great food and a fun, historic vibe!

Bar & grill
Mugshots Grill & Bar in Tupelo, MS is a lively family restaurant that offers a diverse menu of burgers, sandwiches, and salads with a Hawaiian twist. They also serve beer to pair with their fabulous and elevated bar food. This locally-owned establishment was created by two college friends who wanted to provide an enjoyable dining experience. With a friendly and attentive server like Nate, the exceptional service adds to the overall grand time at Mugshots.
I ordered delivery from DoorDash and this was packaged great and also gave extra napkins. I got the Texan burger with Fried Pickles as my side. The burger was so big that I couldn’t finish it and the quantity of fried pickles was very generous. They both had wonderful flavor and cooked perfectly. Will definitely reorder and recommend to others!!

Great place for burgers, sandwiches and beer. Can get crowded and noisy. 4 of 5 of us were happy with our sandwiches. Chicken strips not so much. Jalyn our server did a pretty good job. Can’t say much about the wait staff having to carry food as far as they do. Especially up some stairs. I’d come back.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Listen… I don’t know what kind of magic they’re working in that kitchen at Mugshots Bar & Grill, but I’d like to personally thank the chef, their ancestors, and whoever invented burgers. I had the Breakfast Burger and it was like brunch and cheat day had a beautiful baby. My friend got the Parmesan Burger, and she inhaled it so fast I thought she blacked out mid-bite. And don’t even get me started on the strawberry daiquiri… that drink had me feelin’ like I was on a beach with zero problems and direct deposit just hit. Vibes: immaculate. Food: disrespectfully good. Service: cool as hell. Pull up. Eat good. Thank me later.

I want to first be clear why I didn't rate 5 star. I've never been inside nor have I been served by any of the employees so I can't rate that. I Order from Tupelo2go and also have never had anything other than their BIG KAHUANHA burger meal. I've had it a few times and I love it every time so why change it!!! This burger is one of the best I've had, if not THE best, in tupelo. I've got a big mouth (shut up) and I can't get it around this thing it's that big. Love the bread, pineapple and yes the meat is real, not frozen. I had it the sweet fries which theyve changed for the better which is now sweet potato waffle fries instead of stick fries. Love their onion rings too!! You GOTTA try it.
Bonnie B — Google review
The food was good. The didn’t have a good salad mix so I couldn’t order one of the salads. Their salad mix had iceberg in it premixed. For a sit down restaurant a mixed greens salad that doesn’t include that cheaper less nutrient dense Is generally expected.

Updated: Visit 2025: We enjoyed Mugshots last year when we went in for dinner, and so we came back. It didn't disappoint. The food was really good and the service was outstanding! Our waitress was so kind, and she made sure we were all taken care of. The burgers are a must try. I had the A1 burger this time. We also got the sampler appetizer tray. Their mushrooms and cheese sticks with mozzarella are amazing! I always get a shirt from restaurants while we're on vacation, and I purchased a really cute purple one this year. The tshirt was a great price too! Visit 2024: We always try to stop at local restaurants while traveling. Mugshots came up several times while we were looking up places to stop, so it made the list. We were NOT disappointed!! The food was delicious! The restaurant was clean and the staff was kind! Definitely check this place out! The kids' menu was decent. And they have a lot of options on their regular menu.

This was my first time actually going into the establishment to eat. I've ordered Doordash before, but I must say I like the vibe. Our server was extremely nice and helpful when it came to ordering and the big margarita was a plus and it was stout! I can see myself going back there soon

Conference & Convention Centers
Cadence Bank Arena, formerly known as the BancorpSouth Arena, has been Tupelo's go-to venue for indoor football and ice hockey since 1993. With a seating capacity of up to 10,000, it hosts various live entertainment events throughout the year, including large music concerts. Visitors have praised the cleanliness and organization of the arena during events such as Harlem Globetrotters games and public ice skating sessions.
This place is massive and I only got to see parts of it. Easy to get to. Hotels, eating, and gas stations all within reach. Great plan to host events if you're in the Tupelo area!
Corey D — Google review
Have this place ever hosted a concert before? On 5/10 for Riley green was One of the Worst Concert Experiences Ever – Poorly Organized and Miserable Waiting. I was genuinely excited for this concert, but the entire experience was soured before it even began. We were forced to stand outside in the rain for over an hour just to get inside the venue. There was absolutely no communication from the organizers, no shelter provided, and no effort to expedite the entry process despite the rain. It honestly felt like the staff didn’t care about the attendees at all. It’s baffling that a major event could be so poorly managed. Would not attend another event by this promoter unless they seriously improve how they treat their audience.
Kris S — Google review
I love the Cadence Bank Arena!! This is one of the easiest venues to find park get in and out. I just went to an Oliver Anthony concert over the weekend. I enjoyed it immensely!! Any seat in this arena is a good seat. It's not so large that u don't get your money's worth from the seats that you buy.
Misty B — Google review
Many downtown events are held here. Always well organized fun and friendly. Can't wait to see a concert here!
Michelle L — Google review
Overall the venue is two stars. The staff and people working there were nice. We attended the Aaron Lewis concert on 7/16 and part of our ticket allowed early access. We were allowed in to the venue at 6:00 but no concessions were open until 6:30. We could not go to our seats until 6:30 either which was when the doors opened for everyone. When we did buy a beer, it was served warm. ($10 each). The building was not sufficiently cooled prior to the event so it was very warm in the coliseum area. Not sure we will ever go back.

March 4th, 2023 Had a BLAST at Monster Jam. Loved how the crowd really got into it🙌🏻 Good food and drink selection at venue. Clean bathroom with a large amount of stalls for women.

My granddaughter had her first cheer competition. It seems like a nice arena. If you get anything from concession be prepared they only take cards, no cash. Basic food and drink selection. No fountain drinks if that matters to you. There was a country music singer before awards were presented. The stage seemed large enough for the competition and the performance.

I took my grandbaby to see Sesame Street Live and we enjoyed every minute of it. We had the meet and greet with the different characters which she loved so much. I like how they had the front area open so kids could dance with the music. It was a really good show and money well spent.

Strange Brew Coffeehouse Tupelo

Coffee shop
Strange Brew Coffeehouse Tupelo is a charming coffee spot located in a converted old gas station, just across from Elvis's former school. The bright and airy space offers inventive coffee drinks and whimsical baked goods like blue suede shoes macarons and tomato pie scones. It's a popular hangout for pre-work meetups or before heading out on a bike ride, offering energy drinks alongside regular coffee options. You can also find quirky souvenir mugs and house-made pastries here.
My friend and I were coming through town and found this coffee shop on Google. It’s a remodeled gas station that is turned into a cute little coffee bar. They have a drive-thru that was busy when we pulled up & decided to walk in to look around. It’s nice they have a little of the local history like Elvis Presley pictures hanging up. I ordered a caramel frappe made with almond milk. Service was good and fast. I look forward to coming back next time in town.
McKayla A — Google review
I think Strange brew is solid. The indoor is really bright, so if you are going for that library vibe to study or work, don't bank on it. I got the Albino Squirrel. It was solid. I loved the touch of having the chocolate covered coffee bean on top. I had to ask which drink was which, would be nice to have a label. Wanted to get a pastry but nothing caught my eye in the case. They just had muffins. Would be nice to have some variety. Would have maybe got a seasonal coffee, but everything had peppermint in it. They could use some variety. All in all a decent coffee shop, and I always support local over chains, but I just felt it was missing creative drinks that you find at some coffee shops. Will try another place next time rolling through Tupelo.
Morty T — Google review
We stopped for coffee while passing through Tupelo on a road trip. This shop was conveniently located and had the option for walk-in or drive-thru. We tried the 100 Years War and the Gosh Almighty. Both were a little sweeter than we normally like but tasted good otherwise. If we were passing by on another trip, we would make another stop for sure.

First off I am NOT a coffee drinker!! My husband is the coffee drinker so we visited this place to see what he may enjoy. The first visit (yes, we've been twice now) he ordered a Mr. Wayne and I purchased spinach pie. They both were AMAZEBALLS!! The coffee tastes like melted candy(to me) then they put a piece of mystery candy on the top that pairs so well with the drink. The spinach pie was fresh moist and yummy! The servers were very polite and helpful both times we visited. The second time I ordered a mudslide and was blown away at how good it was! Let's just say this coffee spot is so good I now am a Strange Brew coffee drinker!! Would definitely recommend to anyone, coffee drinker or non you won't be disappointed
Shay L — Google review
Not a coffee drinker. However I suppose that's the great thing I learned about this place they have way more than just coffee. They serve other drinks like tea and even food. The workers here were super helpful and answered all my questions kindly. This seemed to be an old garage or possibly gas station and had a really cool setup. Plenty of comfortable seating like couches but also had a few tables if you want to sit and do some work. Prices seemed a little high but in all honesty I'm not really sure how much coffee should cost since I don't drink it. Also they or open early so I would say that's a plus when your coffee drinker and need to get to work. Very cool vibes.

The bakery has some great options, the scones are REALLY good! Their coffee is terrific! Great taste and very smooth. The staff is outstanding. Very welcoming and inviting. Will definitely be back when I visit the area.
Nick H — Google review
First time trying this little spot. My wife and I were wanting coffee after a late dinner, so we searched Google and found Strange Brew. We arrived approximately 5 minutes before closing. We were not turned away like most places would've done. We were told that they could only do iced or frozen beverages at that point which was fine. I ordered the Key Lime Pie frappe, and my wife ordered the White Chocolate Mocha Frappe, both frozen. All I can say, is WOW! Strange Brew has new customers from now on. We're making the 45 minute drive again today, just to take our kids by there for a treat!

A very friendly welcoming staff. The chai was perfectly balanced; not too sweet or spicy. My husband said his black coffee was delicious. The golden milk was just as good as the chai. They have many pastry offerings which look homemade. The cinnamon roll was perfection in size, texture, sweetness and taste.

Jobos is a lively surf-and-turf restaurant located inside Hotel Tupelo, offering fresh seafood and savory meats with a coastal twist. The restaurant features traditional dining spaces as well as comfortable couch seating with street views. One of their popular dishes is the egg-dipped Monte Cristo Flatbread, a pork belly and ham appetizer topped with Havarti and peach jam. With high ceilings, large windows, and modern design, Jobos provides a vibrant dining experience.
We visited Jobos on a Monday for date night, and it didn’t disappoint. The buildout is fun, colorful and packed with nods to tropical travel. The menu feels just as fun and exotic (a little pricier yet totally approachable). We ordered the guacamole/salsa appetizer, split the burger and got a side of Mac and cheese. The ingredients were fresh and flavorful. We particularly enjoyed the chips with guacamole. It came topped with smoky bacon, feta + fresh tomatoes and had a mild chipotle-like spice swirled throughout. Also, their fountain Diet Coke mix is the best we’ve had in Tupelo. Our waitress was a literal saint and kept them coming!
Aubry L — Google review
Staff was very attentive and professional. Food was quite good. Jobos advertises as Surf and Turf with a Southern twist but I would describe it as a fusion of southern and Asian flavors. The pork belly was excellent in the two dishes we had. 4/17/25 - returned to Jobos. New menus, food wasn’t as good. Parm fries were awesome. Nice and crispy and well seasoned. Jobo’s butter burger was good but way too aggressive with the salt. Side of slaw was awful. Watery, sort of bitter, just awful. The entree prices have become very high, so I’m not sure if I will try them again or not.

Quirky, Hawaiian themed eatery in Tupelo, highlighted with 80’s and 90’s soundtracks. Great, family friendly service and food with California influences. Pork belly tacos were crispy with a slight char on the outside and tender with a touch of salt. Catfish tacos were crispy and moist with a sweet tangy sauce. Jobos introduced a happy hour, which was a nice addition! As always, Sam was her friendly and helpful self. Always appreciate her helping our team with recommendations and great service!

First time visitor in town for an Ole Miss football game and wow what a pleasant surprise. After a long day in The Grove and stadium was looking for a late dinner option and found Jobos. Tupelo, MS is a beautiful town to visit and explore. The Hotel Tupelo is a very nice boutique hotel. Jobo’s is the hotel bar restaurant. It is very nicely appointed Jobo’s disappointed just a bit. It’s billed as Puerto Rican Southern. La maitra d reluctantly sat me in the light near the window when I asked. She seamed to scowl. Not very welcoming. The food itself was very boutique. I had Sofrito Salsa & Benton’s Bacon Guac, Lazy Jungle Fresh Side Salad and Ginger Scallion Noodles. The guac wasn’t particularly fresh, was room temperature and had darkened. It was otherwise tasty. The salad was just average. The entree was very imaginative and colorful but more of a soup than a plate. Really, it was dressed-up ramen noodles. The shrimps were good. My waiter was oddly dressed in dungarees and a baseball cap. Other staff were more appealing. He was hard to find for service, like to bring the appetizer or a coffee refill or to bring the check. He wasn’t busy with other tables, just missing. The coffee itself was good though. And a beautiful atmosphere. Jobo’s is best as a bar.

My first visit to Jobos — Downtown Tupelo was with my sister. We sat on the patio and shared an appetizer — sofrito salsa & benton's bacon guac. I could have eaten just that and been fine. We ordered the grilled chicken sandwich and a burger to share with parm fries for a side (not to forget the quick pickles). My next visit was with my family and we dined inside. The charm of the place is impeccable. We enjoyed Sunday Bruch that featured items such as French toast, bacon, aji potatoes. The aji was a delicious green sauce. The short rib hamburger steak stack was a hit, too.

Sure, here is an updated version of the review with the addition of comments about the evening drinks: **A Culinary Delight with a Touch of Enchantment** From the moment I stepped through the doors of this charming restaurant, I was enveloped in an enchanting atmosphere that promised a culinary adventure. The warm glow of the lights, the gentle murmur of conversations, and the tantalizing aromas wafting from the kitchen created a symphony of senses that set the stage for an unforgettable dining experience. While I didn't have a furry companion in tow, I noticed a designated outdoor area for dogs. While the intention was commendable, I couldn't help but notice the presence of spiders, which slightly detracted from the charm of the space. However, once I stepped inside, any lingering concerns were quickly forgotten. The indoor ambiance was nothing short of captivating. The décor was tastefully curated, creating a blend of rustic elegance and modern comfort. The soft chatter of fellow diners mingled with the gentle clinking of silverware against plates, forming a harmonious soundtrack that complemented the delectable feast that lay ahead. My culinary journey began with the French toast, a true masterpiece that danced across my taste buds. The perfectly toasted bread was generously coated with a sweet, custardy batter that was infused with hints of cinnamon and nutmeg. Each bite was a symphony of flavors, leaving me craving more. The service was equally exceptional. Katelyn, the morning server, exuded an aura of patience and kindness that instantly put me at ease. Her attentiveness and genuine warmth made me feel like a valued guest, not just another customer. Destiny, the evening server, was equally impressive. Despite being relatively new, she handled every request with grace and professionalism, ensuring that my dining experience was nothing short of perfect. And let me not forget the drinks. The evening cocktails were an absolute delight. Just one sip of their signature margaritas was enough to transport me to a state of pure bliss. The expertly crafted concoction was a symphony of flavors, perfectly balanced and refreshingly invigorating. It was the perfect way to set the mood for the evening's culinary adventure. While some dishes on the menu might not appeal to every palate, the items that aligned with my preferences were sure to delight. The freshness of the ingredients, the skillful preparation, and the creative combinations of flavors were evident in every bite. Overall, this restaurant offered a delightful dining experience that exceeded my expectations. The enchanting atmosphere, the delectable cuisine, the exceptional service, and the amazing evening drinks created a memorable culinary adventure that I would wholeheartedly recommend to anyone seeking a taste of culinary excellence. Thank you for the warm hospitality and the opportunity to savor these culinary delights!

While in the area, I met up with some coworkers for supper. I was a little disappointed that there wasn't a steak on the menu or at least one pleasing to my taste like a big ribeye or strip. I got the shrimp and grits and some bao buns. I was pleased with the presentation and taste of what I got.

Last I checked mustard goes on the inside !!! Outside of bottom bun soggy with mustard… I couldn’t even pick it up without being covered in mustard… Sad part is they made it fresh AND I was the ONLY car in drive thru, not like they was busy!!! I work in food and would never hand out such. This is horrible. Tried calling to complain but of course nobody answers. I come to Burger King at least twice a week and have never had something so nasty from there. Whoever was working the kitchen on 5/21 at 3:30 pm needs to find another job !

Ordered on the app from inside Kroger next door. Took 5 minutes to get to the speaker, 10 from speaker to window, then got pulled up for another 20 minutes. When the food came out, none of the customizations were right. And they were out of tea. Couldn't tell me at the speaker? I waited in this drive through for 45 minutes one time.

American restaurant
Park Heights Restaurant has been a staple in Tupelo since 1982, offering a blend of creative Southern and American cuisine. The restaurant boasts an elegant interior with high ceilings, large windows, and modern decor. Its wooden bar is a prominent feature, while the rooftop terrace provides a charming view of Main Street. Known for its upscale atmosphere and delectable dishes made from locally sourced ingredients, Park Heights Restaurant caters to various dietary preferences with options ranging from steaks and seafood to inventive vegetarian choices.
It was our 30th wedding anniversary. Park Heights is a place we have always wanted to visit and we finally got the opportunity. We had reservations for an early dinner and were seated right away at our table. Michi absolutely loved the modern but subtle southern decor. We were seated next to the window where we were able to enjoy the view of Fair Park. Our server was very nice, patient and knowledgeable about the menu. (I wish I could remember her name... 😬). She informed us that the restaurant has a new Chef so some of their menu items were new. We started with the Lamb spanakopita. It came out hot and paired with tzatziki that complimented the meal. Also, as you can see in the picture is a side. It was prepared with cauliflower like a homemade relish. It was prepared cold and had a hint of spice. It reminded me of a Mediterranean marinade that I have yet to figure out. Our server informed us that the side was something Chef had added to the dish. It was flavorful and good. If you are not the type that likes Mediterranean spice or trying new flavors - you may not like it. We loved it! I mentioned that it deserved it's own dish. Michi enjoyed the filet. She loves to eat rare steak but we mentioned to the server to allow the Chef to prepare it at their discretion and Chef did not disappoint! The steak was rare to medium topped with a sauce. The steak rested on a bed of grilled vegetables. I enjoyed the pan seared salmon with risotto, vegetables and topped with a lemon sauce. There was no need for seasoning as the meal was prepared perfectly. Since it was our anniversary we opted to save room for dessert and enjoyed the lemon poppyseed cake topped with blueberries. It is rich but the blueberries balance out the flavor and the dessert is easy to enjoy. We absolutely enjoyed the entire experience. If you are looking to enjoy fine dining in the heart of Tupelo, check out Park Heights.

This is a really nice upscale restaurant in downtown Tupelo. The area is really nice and gives off a small town feel. This restaurant is right next to another great restaurant in the area. The food was exceptional, service was top tier, overall a little pricey but well worth it. Definitely a place to check out if you are hungry and in Tupelo.

Classic Tupelo / French Southern Restaurant with excellent service. Standout among local restaurants. Greatly enjoyed the wine and cocktail offerings. They also have a nice kitchen that combines Southern cooking with some Boston flair because of their chef. The New England Lobster Salad was refreshing with its crisp lettuce, cold lobster, light mayo, and rich tomatoes. The harissa crusted tuna by itself was neutral and fresh. The addition of the cold soba salad and wasabi vinaigrette brought the dish alive. Much thanks to Jose, who extended his excitement to introduce his customers to new tastes and drinks!

The atmosphere was great. Very nice decorations and finishes throughout the restaurant. We really enjoyed the charcuterie board. My wife got the steak frites and I had the filet. The food was a little underwhelming for our expectations. It was not bad by any means, but we left desiring just a little bit more.

The food is really good. Not great, but really good. The she crab soup was very tasty, but the salmon was overcooked. The filet of sole was decently prepared, but the Maryland crab cake was pretty skimpy. The cocktails are definitely a hit, though. Kudos to the bartender for true craft cocktails.

WE PAID $150 AND GOT ABSOLUTELY NO FOOD, WE HAD TO LEAVE AND GO FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE TO EAT AT 11PM!! If I could give this "restaurant" even less stars I would! I don't recommend it to anyone after our going on Valentines Day. For a high end restaurant they should seriously be ashamed of themselves! From a two hour wait, to HAIR IN OUR FOOD, then half the food being BURNT, and the other half being completely RAW. It just kept getting worse and worse. First of all it took FOURTY minutes, yes I said 40 minutes to get a drink. We had ordered a charcuterie board at that same time as the drinks and they came out together. That thing was so disgusting we couldnt even eat it. We told the waitress it was probably one of the worst things we have ever had and she laughs and goes "Oh my gosh I know I couldnt even eat it" and took it away barely touched. We should of known at that point things werent going well but we decided to stick it out. 20 minutes later we still had no food and the waitress finally offered us some rolls. We were starving at that point because it was almost ten at night! She not only brought us out ROCK HARD ROLLS but the butter had HAIR IN IT! At that point I'm just about gagging because it was in my mouth and we waited at least ten minutes for the girl to come back to the table and we tell her theres HAIR IN THE BUTTER AND SHOW HER, and she goes "oh my gosh im sorry" and takes it away. At that point she should of gotten at very least a manager and didnt. I told my husband I wanted to get up and walk out but he didnt want to cause a scene even though they had already ruined our night. So FINALLY just under two hours later our food comes out and i look at my husbands and his CHICKEN IS BURNT and vegetables are uncooked and my STEAK IS BURNT TO A CRISP ON THE OUTSIDE RAW AND BLOODY INSIDE. AND WAS SO TOUGH IT WAS STRINGY AND COULD BARELY BE CUT! We told the girl this and all she said was do you want me to package it for you to go? We said no just bring us the check! We paid ONE HUNDRED AND FIFTY DOLLARS AND LEFT HAVING ABSOLUTELY NO FOOD!!! We left all the food on the table and walked away!! She never got us a manager, she never offered to take anything off the bill. We were as nice as you could possibly be because we werent trying to cause a scene with so many people there and with it being Valentines. That's also why we didnt just come out and ask for a manager either. This restaurant and the management should really be ashamed. The waitress at the very least should of made management aware of what was going on. We will not be going back. My husband has a large company here in town that used to use them for meetings and after this he wont use them again. So not only are they going to lose ALL of our business, next time someone asks us about this place we will tell them about our experience and recommend somewhere else especially after how we were treated. Didnt care that the food was TERRIBLE as long as they got paid. And if a manager would like to talk about this, I'll be more than happy to be contacted.

Bar-B-Q By Jim is a cozy and casual BBQ joint located in Tupelo, MS, offering a lodge-like atmosphere with wooden booths, brick walls, and mounted deer heads. The restaurant takes its passion for BBQ seriously and has been serving mouthwatering smoked meats and Southern comfort food for over 30 years. Their menu features an abundance of options including ribs, pulled pork, smoked chicken, and homemade pies.
Tried the ribs on my first visit here. Good flavor, cooked thoroughly but a bit tough. There’s a large gathering at the event center and these might have been rushed. Deserts here are excellent.

We went to this restaurant because we had eaten there back a few years ago during Blue Suede Cruise and enjoyed it. Today was not good. I ordered a hamburger plate with sweet potato fries and Cole slaw. The hamburger and fries were good but the slaw was rotten. It tasted rancid. The pulled pork and sliced chicken that were ordered by my husband and son were very dry. The potato salad and beans and French fries were good but they said the meat was dry and chewy. Really disappointed. The restaurant did not look that clean.

Nope! The sides are great! The roll is good! The ribs??? I think they was cooked yesterday and forgotten overnight but still served today. Im from Texas , I admit my expectations may be a little high but to not even come close is an over statement. Dry, Dry, Dry and dusty if you can bite them off the bone. I thought maybe it was the cook since its Wednesday but I called and Jim is there. He let them walk out the door like that! I ordered it through tupelo 2go. I won't be getting ribs there thats for sure!

Shopping
The Mall at Barnes Crossing is a vibrant shopping destination in Tupelo, Mississippi, perfect for both locals and visitors. With the recent addition of two new hotels, Home2Suites and TRU by Hilton, guests can enjoy convenient access to this bustling retail hub. The mall features a variety of stores, including two distinct Belk department stores that offer unique selections.
This is a favorite spot for my friends and I to hang out on the weekends. One night in particular I was feeling ill. I have a heart condition called Posterior Orthopedic Tachycardia. It often causes me to feel dizzy or ill. I passed out in the parking lot. Almost immediately after a very kind security officer came to make sure I was okay. My friends and I assured him that I’d be fine. His promptness and friendly demeanor were exemplary. Thank you so much, officer.

It's a pretty nice mall. Unlike so many others (like the one in Jackson, TN) there aren't too many vacant stores. We we're looking for something specific so we didn't take in the whole mall.

I thought this was a cool mall it was definitely clean when I was in there. It wasn't too packed and I like it like that, I feel like you can do peaceful shopping that way. There were several officers in there on all sides of the mall so that was great, but if you want too grab a few things without going to numerous of stores, this would be a good mall for that.

The Natchez Trace Parkway Visitor Center in Tupelo is the perfect place to immerse yourself in the history and natural beauty of this scenic roadway. The center offers a wealth of information about the parkway, with knowledgeable rangers available to answer any questions you may have. You might even catch special events like performances by local musicians. From here, you can easily access various points of interest along the parkway, such as Chickasaw Village site and Pharr Mounds.
One off my bucket list, I drove the Natchez Trace back in October. What a wonderful trip it was, the slower speed limit made it so relaxing and enjoyable, at times I didn't see another car for 30 minutes, and no commercial vehicles are allowed at all. So many historic stops along the way, make sure you get a route map from the Ranger Station it's full of history info and distances, real handy.

If you've never taken Natchez Trace Parkway you are definitely missing out on an adventure. You know me, I'm always up for one. I was on a road trip to Fulton Mississippi with a friend. We took Natchez Trace. There was a slight downfall. IT was dark and on HALLOWEEN. HOLY CRAP. They have campgrounds where you can camp free for up to 14 days. We were tired and wanted to rest. This place is cool in the dark. They have plenty of bathroom facilities, of course, it's a the tourist attraction. Lots of history here. I saw an old graveyard. It was dark, and Halloween so NO, we didn't stop there. We got our camp site. We never exited the truck. 🤣🤣🤣It was so dark you couldn't see around you. We followed the beautiful moon all the way thru. The Trace is a historical site for ancient Natives. Hiking trails, Roadside stops with views, swimming, hiking... Lots of creek water but I'm not sure your allowed in the creek. I definitely know YOUR NOT ALLOWED TO TAKE ANY ROCK OUT OF THIS PLACE. You're being filmed, and will be arrested. You can look at the artifacts, but I wouldn't touch em if I were you. It's a beautiful place to go. It's best to go in the daylight. Night time is scary.
Mary M — Google review
Fantastic drive, (444 miles from end to end) and informative, friendly visitors center. Absolutely take the time to watch the 15-minute film that explains what the Natchez Trace actually is. Many stops along the way with historical and scenic significance. One of America's true hidden gems.
Todd H — Google review
Closed due to government shutdown. We were there with three bikers to ride the 440+ miles of the Trace but had no access to any of the Visitor Centers. Exterior bathrooms were open and reasonably clean. Thanks for that! FYI, if you are deciding which direction to ride the Trace, definitely start at the north (near Nashville) end and travel south toward Natchez unless you are a very strong rider. The hundred miles, give or take, on the north end, are killer if you chose poorly like we did and started in Natchez. They call it 'hilly'. 😐 Clever. Unsolicited opinion - Also, plan on staying in better hotels while in Mississippi. We found that the budget priced ones ($85-100/night) can be really dirty. When I told the desk clerk that our room was dirty, she said to me, and I quote, "ALL of our rooms are dirty. There is only one person here, other than me." 😑🤢 I had to pass on that one and go to higher end places to find a clean room.
Linda M — Google review
Very informative and interesting visitors center highlighting the different time periods throughout history and how the trace was used by each group. They also have an interesting 15 minute video talking about how the Trace was preserved. The on-staff rangers were quite helpful. There is also a small gift shop with a good selection of items. Worth a stop, especially since there is a gas station right down the road.

Blue Canoe is a laid-back and funky joint that offers live music several nights a week, along with an extensive beer selection including 35 on tap. The restaurant serves an excellent dinner menu featuring favorites like Crack Dip fries, Neon Pigs famous Smash Burger, and two different bread puddings. With a distinctly Cajun flavor, the must-try dishes include pot roast and crack dip fries.
A classic bar with unique twists everywhere. Huge beer selection. Service was great too. And the food was amazing. We’ll definitely be visiting again.

This is dive bar heaven. We are visiting for my graduation and I scoped out this place and it did not disappoint. Tammy our server was fantastic and recommended everything to us: I had the shrimp tacos with elote and they were fantastic. The chicken slider, burgers, birria and crack fries, and blueberry bread pudding are also a must. Awesome beer selection as well. This is a must stop if you’re in the area. We will be back.

I picked this place out while traveling from GA to TX mostly along US 278. I just wanted an authentic local place with good reviews and we found it! An unassuming but strong local vibe. We arrived at about 6:30 with the parking lot already full. We had to give our eyes a second to adjust to the dark interior, but very cool setup once we could see again! Massive number of local and regional craft beer taps. I chose an 1817 IPA (very good). The menu was full of new (to us) and old favorites from Duck Quesadilla to Pork and Greens. Food and drink was great. Our waitress was a sweetheart and so friendly. Overall a great time and highly recommended.

Eat here every time I'm in Tupelo, which is often. Great food, New Orleans atmosphere but with a Mississippi twist. Don't laugh, but order the fried baloney sandwich. It's incredible, and everyone had been recommending it for months, but I kept eating their awesome daily specials like duck street tacos and omg. Food comes out quick, so if you want a few drinks, wait to order your food. Staff is engaging and soo very cool. Big patio with a bar out back where you can order food and not have to wait to be seated. One of my favorite places to eat in north Mississippi, and I went to Ole Miss, so i know the area really well. It's on Glouster very near McCullough, so it's super easy to get to. Go enjoy yourself.

My all time favorite bar in America. Friendly local vibes, great food, music and service. I don’t consider Tupelo a tourist destination but I have had many co-workers ask to plan business travel to Tupelo for the purposes of checking out the Blue Canoe. 14 year later and it’s still rocking the same quality food and service. Buy their merch, it’s a talking point if you’re from out of town and return home.

Outstanding service, food, and beer as always. It’s been 4 years since we’ve been here and it was just as wonderful, if not better. Great restaurant and great flavor of burger.

Great spot for a bite! The atmosphere is laid-back and fun, and the staff were super friendly — made the whole experience feel welcoming. The food quality was excellent, fresh and flavorful. My only gripe was that the dish I had was a bit heavy on the sauce, and the flavor was pretty intense. That said, it didn’t ruin the meal, and I’ll definitely be coming back to try more. Overall, a solid place with cool vibes and great eats!

We were excited to try Neon Pig, but overall the experience was mixed. The smash burgers and smash fries, which are really hyped up, felt overrated to us. On the bright side, the burnt ends were delicious and packed with flavor. The filet mignon was also good, though the plate presentation was messy and not very appealing. The setup is super casual—drinks are self-serve, and if you order burgers or tacos, they’re served in wrappers with no plates. Tables were small and our table was never cleared by the staff, which made the dining space feel cluttered. If you’re going for the burnt ends, it might be worth a stop. Otherwise, it didn’t quite live up to the hype for us.

Best burger place in Tupelo by far 😋 the patty melt, and bbq fries were amazing 👏 we also got the kimchi fries and you could definitely tell the kimchi was fresh. So good 🤤🤤🤤🤤

Honestly, and surprisingly, this might have been the best hamburger steak dish I've had....ever. The different flavors and level of smoke taste were unmatched anywhere else that I have been.
Jaysen H — Google review
Staying across the street and menu looked interesting and said voted best smash burger in America. We have to agree. Service was amazing - thanks Kelley. The quality meat with the seasoning made one of the best burgers I have ever had. Hamburger steak was just as good. If you’re close this place is worth a stop. We’ll be back every time we are in town.

Got mine to go or else I’m sure the roll would’ve been much prettier in presentation. I ordered the shaggy dog and chicken fried rice. (Beer not included) I thought it was delicious and very well priced. The hostess helped me with choosing which roll met my liking. Wait was only couple minutes of flipping through a local magazine and admiring the hip theme throughout the restaurant. Would certainly recommend and will be back in next trip to Tupelo.

I write this as I sit at the bar and only one other couple in the place. For an introvert like myself I couldn't be happier. My waitress is attentive but not overbearing. The ambiance is typical with just the right amount of background music. The miso soup was really good and the Tokyo roll was spot on. I am not easily impressed with most Asian restaurants here in the states. This place doesn't scream OMG you have to try this, but it is nice and I will be coming back.

Food was good. But their attitude towards customers suck. They act like you are such a bother. I love their food but they try to nickel and dime you for everything. I asked for Togo drinks and they wanted to charge me again for my drinks. I told them I literally just walked out. I had to put my kids in the car, my credit card slip was still laying on the counter with a tip. I didn't understand how I just sat down to ate & had a tea but because I didn't ask for it at the table and came back inside after freeing up my hands I had to be charged again for my son & I drinks. I asked why I would be charged again and she said because you want one Togo and you have to pay for it again if you want it togo.... I have never EVER been to a restaurant where you were charged for your drink at the table and then another charge if you wanted one Togo. I work in a restaurant so that was the most ridiculous thing I had ever heard. I never complain or say anything but this place has the worst attitude towards customers. Always like we are bugging them. The only waitress who acts like she is truly happy to serve you is the woman is not a family member. Unfortunately, after tonight we will not be back due to this pettiness. Good food. Horrible customer service. Only one waitress is worth it and we did not get her.

I ordered Mist yesterday at 3pm. This was the worst mistake I have ever made. I think I received food that was from the day before. It was tasteless and soggy. I ordered rice, egg rolls, ect..i wasted 40 bucks but in return I have gotten sick with stomach pains. I will never return and will make sure my family never eats there or my co workers. Your health is everything. Be careful.

Sushi is good but took 30 min to 3 orders of sushi. Only checked on 2 times in the 40 minutes we were there and not even by the same person. They took our waters and refilled them when we didnt need it but completely ignored my daughter needed a drink refill. Sat for several min after we finished waiting on our check. We were finished eating by the second time we we checked on.bevef even got our entire order but was charged for everything we ordered. They didn't even appear to be happy we were there. Not a good experience.

I went to have lunch because I had a coupon. The lady ( probably the owner) who served us was so rude. There were no customers around but she looked pissed off for no reason and put the dishes so rude on the table. She took like 40 minutes to get the dishes out and the chicken was under cooked and cold. Overall, do not go if you don't want your day to be spoiled
Srujana P — Google review
I just left this establishment and I will not be back. I order a lunch "box" with egg drop soup. I received miso soup. I sent it back and got egg drop in the same bowl with the same plate and spoon. I know this because I had placed a chip in the plate and I was going to eat the soup so I had used the spoon. This is horrible. How do you bring paying customers dirty dishes? Regardless of where they came from to begin with, they were dirty. My office eats here at least twice a week because it is convenient but I will not be back. The only reason they have one start is because I couldn't write without hitting a star.
Dana S — Google review
FDA needs to relook in to this restaurant as the quality standards are worst. I got a staple pin in my hot n sour soup, when I showed it to the waitress, she was like "oh it's a staple"(like i dont know what it is) and throws on the floor beside my table. Apart from the food the staff is rude and the place looks like garbage.

O'Charley's Restaurant & Bar is a relaxed chain eatery that serves up classic American comfort food and offers take-out options along with a full bar. It's a family-friendly spot where you can enjoy delicious dishes like catfish po'boys, classic burgers, and fried pickles. The service is top-notch, with attentive staff ensuring your needs are met and even going the extra mile to make your dining experience special.
All the servers there definitely know how to hustle. I didn’t see a single one have any slow or down time. And even though they appears to be tremendously busy, they never faltered with their customer service. Everything was prompt and to our satisfaction. Servers were always present and we never had to ask for anything. This was nice rare experience in the local area.

The food was great. I had a double bacon burger with sautéed onions. The fries were hit or miss. Some were great. The majority of them were small and hollow as seen in the pictures. The ones that were good were great, but many were not. The burger was exceptional. I requested crispy bacon, and it was. My wife had the steak and chicken tenders with steamed broccoli and a loaded potato. All of her was great. I tried the steak, and it was tender and flavorful even for a well done steak( per her request) Our server Rebecca was great! She did an amazing job. Oh yea, the rolls were great also! The downside was the cleanliness of the restaurant. I observed a lot of food in the floor all around us. As I watched the waitresses clean the tables, I noticed all of them just wiped the crumbs onto the floor. The table was clean, but each time they cleaned a table the floor got worse. That just seems counterproductive to me. Overall a great experience, they just definitely need to look at how they clean tables. No one ever vacuumed or swept the entire time.

Tracy made our second visit great. She remembered us from first visit. She even special-made me some cocktail sauce bc I didn't like the sauce served. The $12 Bucket of Beer all day every day is one of the best deals in town!

I'd give zero stars if I could. Walked in tonight with my wife and my five kids. Was immediately told that due to a catering event, that they would not seat any parties that are greater than six. The young lady was very unapologetic and blunt. We asked to speak to a manager, and management just left us standing there while seating parties coming in after us. I've been a patron of multiple restaurants throughout my lifetime and I can honestly say I've never had my family denied service. It felt a little discriminative, not going to lie. They weren't even busy, there were empty tables all over the place. If you happen to see this place driving by or happen to see it pop up on your phone while you're searching for a restaurant... do yourself a favor- skip this place. They wont appreciate your business anyway apparently. Terrible management. O'Charleys: get your affairs in order. I'd give zero stars if I could. Moving forward, I think I'll pass on patronizing the O'Charleys back in my home state as well. 👌

Waitress (sam) 0/100, acted like she was tired the whole time & It was only 8pm. I had cheese wedges 6/10. My partner had a bacon cheese burger. It was hair on the bacon & she acted like it was our fault then tried to say it was a piece of the bacon. We could have left the food there but we didn’t want to be rude about it. we will NOT be back.

Steak house
Outback Steakhouse is an energetic Australian-themed establishment that specializes in serving robust steak and seafood dishes. The waitstaff at this restaurant are delightful, attentive, and kind-hearted, always wearing genuine smiles and eager to assist. One must try the salmon paired with scrumptious sweet potatoes enriched with butter and cinnamon - a truly delectable combination. Furthermore, the asparagus is perfectly cooked - tender and well-seasoned.
They might have an app, but I google it and ordered it from their website. It was extremely easy, so I can only imagine an app being easier. The food was very delicious, I got the salmon. The inside was well kept, and everyone seemed to be getting along. The bathroom was clean, which is a huge plus.

Ruffino was a fantastic server, very personable and efficient. He brought fresh drinks before we even needed them and checked in just the right amount. Our appetizers, meals, and dessert were perfectly timed. The Alice Springs Chicken was the best I've had in years -- we learned that the cook was Scott. We also chatted with the manager, who was personable as well. The staff was visible, organized, and courteous. My wife has Celiac disease, and each time a server set a dish in front of her, they said, "Gluten free soup" or "Gluten free salmon," which gave her reassurance that they had been careful in handling her food. Best of all was the Chocolate Thunder from Down Under. It was a wonderful anniversary meal and dining experience.

Went on Valentine's Day and they gave every lady a flower before being seated! That was so sweet! There of course was a wait due to it being extremely busy for Valentine's but it wasn't bad. Once we were called, we were seated promptly. Our waitress was nice and attentive, drinks were great, food was great, restaurant was clean and atmosphere was nice. Definitely recommend!

My wife and I enjoyed ourselves at Outback Steakhouse. The service was great. When we walked in the door we felt the good vibe from the employee that was standing at the stand. The food was delicious. We will be back soon. I did not get a picture of my wife's food but everything looked so good. Our waitress was so nice and I hope I get to sit at one of the tables she is serving in a couple of weeks.

Stopped back at this location and once again we were so pleased with the service. Our bartender was excellent! She navigated a very busy night perfectly. My husband ordered the steak and pasta and I had the filet with an added lobster tail. The only complaint we had was the seasoning on the steaks. It’s extremely salty. Anyway to back out some salt and it would be a 5 out of 5 on the meat. Both of our steaks were cooked to perfection. Just too salty. Overall, this location delivers excellent service and quality food!

They need to train most of the waiters, our waiter that night she forget about us for like 20 minutes we ask her for ketchup and ranch and she forget we need more drinks and she forget. But she not forget her tips she charged my ticket almost $30 just for tip. We are disappointed about the services she not have my order right, they make us wait for more of one hour, all the staff see us like rare maybe because we are Latinos, well, I probably change my review if they improved they're staff. For now I don't recommend this place.

The restaurant provides a 5-star dining experience in a romantic setting with beautiful white dining rooms adorned with tablecloths and decorative-backed chairs. Guests can enjoy a variety of flavorful starters such as gator bites, Southern-fried mushrooms, and smoked gouda kettle chips.
Exceptional service and cuisine created a memorable dining experience. The staff's professionalism and friendliness enhanced the overall ambiance. Each dish showcased a masterful blend of flavors. Forgot to take a pic of our entree’s but my husband and I were coming to tupelo for shopping and a movie and I just googled the best restaurant in Tupelo and this place was #1 and I have to agree! We drove almost 2 hours and are already planning to come back! The entire staff was incredibly nice and our waitress Kerri was awesome!

I would give six stars if we could! Woody's was an absolute culinary delight. The building, the history, and the atmosphere just added to the amazing experience. Our group ordered an astounding amount of food and loved everything. The steaks were superb, the appetizers were on point, and our server Jay was the best of the best. We could not decide on which dessert to get so we did three. The bread pudding, the creme brulee, and the BANANAS FOSTER served table side by the owner Feather, who was absolutely amazing herself. We cannot wait to come back and dine at Woody's again.

The Chicken Paccata was so delicious. The sauce was very savory without overpowering the meat. My husband's ribeye looked equally as savory so I was "gifted" 2 bites. I don't know if I could choose which was best.... because both entrees were very delicious. Guess it's a tie! Definitely 10/10 recommend. Woody's will probably be our new date night out go to restaurant for the best food we've had in Tupelo...EVER!

Day 3

Off the beaten path
For day 3, if you don’t mind the extra trek, today covers more off the beaten path places like Ballard Park. Nature & Parks
Ballard Park is a vast green space in Tupelo, covering over 153 acres and featuring various amenities. Visitors can explore the 2.75-mile trail for hiking or biking, as well as a cross-country trail. The park offers athletic fields, a disc golf course, and a skate park for recreational activities. Families with children can take advantage of the playgrounds while adults enjoy sand volleyball courts. Additionally, there is a 3-acre lake where visitors can relax and feed the ducks.
I love it here. This is my go to relax spot where I can just enjoy the scenery, eat lunch, feed the ducks or whatever. It's refreshing if you have nothing to do but wanna get out of the house. It has plenty of restrooms to use as well as a couple of playgrounds for kids to run around.
Jamarius E — Google review
The play are is nice because it's in the shade. Swing sets are newish. The picnic tables are falling apart though and the thing that bumped it from 4 to 3 was the bathroom. Even if it wasn't 85 and hot and sweaty. They are dirty, rusty, crumbling and not kept. Plus side the running water....everyone appreciates a flushing toilet.
Kayla H — Google review
Ballard Park could be much improved with a better management team. The park is large with walking trails, baseball and soccer fields, a skate park, ponds and eventually a new kid’s playground. Picnic tables have been removed near the construction area. Too often the water fountains are inoperable. The asphalt trail is so broken and cracked it is really a hazard for all of the seniors that get in their steps in the park. Be sure to use caution as you walk under the tree canopy…many falling limbs and branches from not pruning and cutting back the trees. Storm shelter is available but may be difficult to locate since it is planted dark grey…a challenge to see during dark skies and storms. With very few options in Tupelo, Ballard Park is one of just a couple options. With a little tweaking it could be much better.

I run here every week and it’s amazing. They have just built a massive new playground near the track. Not much shade but great for the kids. There is also a 1mile trail loop on the other side near the baseball fields that is shaded and nice.

Ballard is a pretty nice place. Lots of area to explore, a lake, two playgrounds, walking track, soccer fields, even a skate park. They recently redid their west parking lot to feature in/out drives and added lots of spaces. I would give it five stars, but the shore line seems to collect a lot of trash and the facilities are fairly antiquated. Overall, still a good place to bring the kids.

Tupelo Buffalo Park & Zoo is a remarkable 175-acre animal sanctuary located near downtown Tupelo. It houses over 260 animals, including endangered buffalo, tigers, giraffes, zebras, monkeys, camels, lemurs, pythons, deer, llamas and peacocks. The zoo offers a unique opportunity to get up close with these endangered species in their natural habitat.
Took the family to an afternoon here and had a wonderful time! The staff were very courteous and helpful when we arrived. I can’t emphasize how great the staff was when we first arrived. That first impression really made us feel welcomed. We explained to them it was our first time and they gave us great recommendations since my kids wanted to see certain animals. We got our buckets of feed and headed straight to the giraffe feeding area since the staff recommended we do that first. My kids loved feeding the giraffe! Note the giraffe eats different food than what is provided in the buckets of feed but the lady at the front desk alerted that to us as well when we arrived. Then we did the rest of the walking area of the zoo. The animals were friendly and looked well cared for. My kids loved feeding and seeing the different animals. The walking portion of the zoo also has a playground and various slides and things for kids to play on as well as looking at the animals. We will definitely come back here if we are in the Tupelo area and we might do both the driving option and then finish up with the walking option.

Great! Saw a lot of animals, and was able to feed animals. You get a check list to check off animals you seen(A Driving and walking list), There was an area with sloths, another with reptiles/snakes, etc. *Not to much people when I went * (Went on 5/29/2025 around 10:30?) Had a gift shop, Had a collectible souvenir coin (?), Plush, small farm/animal figures and a little bit more. (Overall, Would recommend!)

Went on a weekday in the summer. It was hot so many animals were in the water but we did have some come eat. It was fun. Didn't do the walk through as it was closing shortly. I recommend checking it out.

We visited today - a group of three adults - and had a fabulous time. Some of the animals were not out due to the cold weather. That was no problem - we're glad to know their safety and health are considered first. The two ladies in the reception area were so courteous and helpful. Driving tour tickets for three people and a couple buckets of feed was around $45. We saw a number of cute animals, shared a ton of laughs and had some photo ops. A good value, in my opinion. Best - we didn't see any signs of neglect or anything to cause concern for the animals.

We had a great time feeding the animals. The young lady behind the counter was very sweet and helpful. This is a great place to bring your family.

The staff was friendly and informative. The entire place seemed to be kid friendly, no matter the age of the kid. All animals looked healthy, with clean environments. We were surprised at how many and the variety of animals they had. We will definitely go back.
Cindy H — Google review
The animals we did see looked unhealthy and conditions looked poor. I personally don’t think it’s worth $12 a person and to me kids shouldn’t be the same as adults. I don’t see how the animals are allowed to look like that… raw skin blood shown. A lot of animals were close in so couldn’t actually walk up.

ForkLift Restaurant is a sophisticated dining spot in Tupelo, offering elevated American cuisine with a Southern flair. The restaurant provides a romantic atmosphere and top-notch service, making it one of the upscale dining options in the area. With its polished outpost and outdoor seating, ForkLift is known for its excellent cocktails and diverse menu featuring Southern and American staples. From mussels with bacon to blackened shrimp tacos and braised Angus short rib, there's something for everyone.
We had a great experience at Forklift in Tupelo! The service was outstanding—our server was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. We started with the Voodoo Tater Tots, which were a fun and flavorful appetizer. I ordered the 12-ounce ribeye, and it was seasoned to perfection—juicy, tender, and cooked just the way I like it. Our friends had the patty melt, and honestly, it might have been the star of the table—absolutely delicious! I also tried a cup of the French onion soup. It wasn’t quite my favorite, possibly due to a sweeter onion base. Personally, I prefer a deeper flavor profile with notes of cognac or sherry in French onion soup. If I had one suggestion, it would be to refine the French onion soup and consider expanding the wine selection to better complement the excellent beer options on the menu. Overall, Forklift is a gem in Tupelo—highly recommend checking it out!

I have been trying to get to this restaurant for months. Unfortunately, the experience was less than pleasant. We did a walk in and they told us the only spaces they had were in the back or at the bar(the whole place was empty except for two tables). I had my kid with me so we chose the back. So we went to the back outside patio area. The tables were oily and sticky. We were served sugar water to drink with a hint of tea. We asked for a few minutes to look at the menu. We felt rushed so we just hurried up and picked some thing. I got the fried chicken meal and my kid got the French onion soup. The food looked pretty good but upon consumption it left a lot to be desired. Not to mention the pungent smell of fecal matter rising up around us. I don’t know if something walked by and took a dump or if it was the flower bed. The chicken was tasteless, the sweet potatoes were stringy, the cornbread was burnt on the top and had actual corn in the bottom of it, the greens were very bitter. The onion soup had a twang to it and the bread was bitter. Not worth the $50. Plus the stench was very off putting.

Had dinner at the bar. Was rather impressed. Gumbo was excellent! Had shrimp & grits for dinner which was phenomenal. Jumbo sized shrimp, grits great, bacon was cooked perfectly and the sauce was balanced.

American restaurant serving dishes with a strong Southern influence. Nice service, decor, and wine selection. Promising future as the team refines the overall offering (e.g., menu, pricing, consistency, quality). Shrimp cocktail was chilled and meaty with a strong horseradish component in the sauce. Enjoyed the bites. The flavor combinations on the charcuterie board were pleasant with three kinds of meats and cheeses along with the mustard, jam, nuts, and other items. The amount of meat and the presentation made the dish feel a bit sparse. The gumbo is topped with crab and included hearty amounts of shrimp, crawfish, okra, and other goodies. Note that the gumbo is tasty, but non-traditional in terms of not using a lot of roux (the gumbo was closer to the consistency of soup) and the flavor of the gumbo was more acidic than normal. The Cabernet and Pinot Noir offerings were a nice surprise. Enjoyed the selection. Our waitress was quick to swap out the glasses of wine and open new bottles. Recommend storing the wine in a fridge to help extend the life of the open bottles. Our batch of raw oysters was not chilled / fresh. Recommend ordering the oysters grilled or Rockefeller style.

I had high hopes for this place as it has really good ratings. Our bill was $137 before a tip which was expected as this is a nicer restaurant. We got the “voodoo tots” as an appetizer, I ordered the dry aged ribeye and my wife had the pork chop. I honestly have almost nothing good to say about the food. The tatter tot appetizer was just very large tots with some cheese and gravy on them, very underwhelming for the price. The pork chop entree was a good portion size for the price, but lacked flavor and was pretty dry. The ribeye was advertised as a “12oz dry aged ribeye”, although it was a thicker cut, it was closer to 8oz and did not have the distinct dry aged flavor. I also ordered the steak medium rare and it came out medium well. Our waitress offered to take it back, but we had already waited 30 minutes or more for our meal to come out. The service was good and attentive, no issue there. I would not recommend going here nor do I intend on trying it again. You can go to a chain restaurant for half the price and get better quality food.

While it was a pleasant place to dine. The food wasn’t nearly as to die for as the menu prices suggested. The server was adequate. The ability to see the cooks in action is both good and bad. The bad being the ability to watch them vape while they prepared food. Which they did with a frequency that made it feel part of their routine. The crab cake appetizer was good the curry mussels not so much. The steak was decent. The short ribs were not as good as expected. For what the restaurant charges more is the expected in the quality of the food. Maybe part of it was how much we were put off but the cook vaping. It is a smaller space so the sound does bounce around. Between people talking and the music it is a bit loud. Won’t say I will never be back. But I sure won’t be in a hurry.

We placed a pickup order for lunch and we were able to order on line prior to the restaurant opening! Our food was fresh and ready when we arrived at the restaurant to pick up our order! Myself and my colleagues ordered the BLT burger, Short Rib Dip sandwich, and a Cuban Grilled Cheese with extra sides of cheese grits, crispy Brussels, and fries that were seasoned to perfection! We had generous portions that did not disappoint!!To top it off we had the Banana Pudding Cake for desert which is a must have! We will definitely be back for more!! 💯 % Recommend !!

We had our first lunch here with a party of six, service was very personable and professional with detail explanation of all the different choices. Most of us chose the meat and three which were all incredible. All the food was fresh and home-cooked like an upscale restaurant but very reasonable in price. Next time we’re in town we will be back. Would love to try dinner the next time. Thanks for having a unique restaurant compared to so many.

Connie's Fried Chicken is a humble fast-casual eatery in Tupelo that specializes in delectable chicken, blueberry pastries, and biscuits with gravy. Founded by Constantine Asters back in 1979, this establishment has become a local favorite. Alongside their renowned crispy fried chicken and tasty biscuits, the true standout at Connie's is their exceptional blueberry donuts. These mouthwatering treats are so irresistibly delightful that they regularly sell out before breakfast ends.
Let me start this by saying I don't give 5 star ratings easily. Everything has to hit its mark to get that rating. My husband and I got bone in fried chicken. He got spicy and I got original. We enjoyed it more than Gus's if you know you know. Gus's is amazing but it verges on almost too spicy for me. So Connies was perfection to me with the original recipe. My husband loves spicy food so he did say that Connies spicy chicken isn't as spicy as Gus's. The fried chicken here at Connies was juicy, flavorful, and the skin was fried to perfection. For sides we got mac n cheese, mashed potatoes w gravy, green beans. The meal came with rolls that looked homemade and were every bit of perfection. I was almost disappointed with the mashed potatoes bc it was served with white gravy but it highly exceeded my expectations. We got a dozen of the blueberry donuts bc I had tried them at work when a vendor brought us donuts. Donuts are available until they sell out so keep that in mind. I will say the donuts are probably best first thing in the morning when they're warm 🤤 throw in some milk and be ready to pass out. Comforting southern food at its finest.

If you have not experienced Connie’s Chicken for breakfast you are missing out! Stopped here for a “life changing” blueberry donut as suggested by a local and we were not disappointed!! Sherie and Marie are two ladies who will brighten your morning while serving up your fuel for the day!! We’ll be back!

Connie’s is our go to for breakfast when in Tupelo. Outstanding chicken and biscuits. The blueberry donut alone is worth the visit. Great service with a clean dining room. The quality is consistent visit to visit.

This place is legendary. I grew up eating Connie’s, and now when I’m back in town with my own family, we go out of our way for it—every time. The chicken and gravy biscuits are pure comfort food magic, and the blueberry donuts? Forget about it. I didn’t even get a photo before we devoured everything… that’s how good it is. Do yourself a favor and stop by. You will not be disappointed.

I normally don’t post because I hate having my entire name on here, but I have to share my story. I had a bad experience with an order, so I went back the next day. I spoke with this young man named Sam, and he was absolutely AMAZING. He went above and beyond for me, and I will never forget him. I pray that someone in corporate will see this review and reward this young man for his professionalism.🙌🏽

Crave is a charming coffee shop in Tupelo, known for its delectable pastries and breakfast items. The highlight of the menu is the award-winning Skillet Cookie, which has been named Best Dessert in Mississippi by Mississippi Magazine. This dessert takes about 25 to 30 minutes to bake to perfection, so plan accordingly when ordering it. In addition to the famous skillet cookie, Crave offers other indulgent treats like turtle cheesecake and s'mores pie.
Incredibly cute place with great food and coffee. The decor is so thoughtfully put together, that on its own could wake you up in the morning even without the coffee! The person working the counter convinced me to try a maple white mocha latte- SO GOOD! My bacon egg and cheese biscuit was also wonderful.

We stopped here on a long drive. The staff was super friendly, and the coffee was tasty. The treats were good, albeit a little too sweet for my family’s liking. Outdoor seating is available, which was perfect for us, as we had our pup in-tow. We’d definitely return for the coffee on our way through again.

I finally tried this place out. I was planning to order the sausage blueberry biscuit. I asked if they could make the sausage crispy. They told me no because it comes precooked. I should’ve left at that point. I decided to try just the plain blueberry biscuit with glaze. I was very hopeful, as I’ve heard a lot of people like Crave. The biscuit was very dry. I’m wondering if they come in frozen. I was under the impression that they make everything from scratch. Maybe they will respond to this and explain if they make their pastries fresh or frozen. I got a house coffee. They had two options, Sumatra and Southern Roasted Pecan. I tried the pecan. It was great, however I feel as though this coffee is the same as the coffee at Okolona Express Gas station. It taste identical to a coffee I used to get there daily. I may return to get a cup of coffee, but it’s a definite no on the biscuit. The atmosphere was definitely not for me. The decor just isn’t inviting to me. It’s not what I think of when I think of a coffee shop, but that’s truly a matter of opinion. I’m sure it appeals to many. Perhaps one day I’ll find the ideal little coffee shop that opens early, has good breakfast and coffee, and has friendly talkative staff in a great welcome atmosphere.

I went to the Crave today because I was craving something sweet. Boy was I disappointed I ordered 2 slices of cake a chocolate cake and strawberry cake there was a bit of a wait which was strange because no one was in there besides me but ok I was like I hope this cake is worth it for 10 bucks a slice it needs to be worth it. Once I got the order and looked at it I was pleasantly impressed it was just like the picture. Once I took the first bite I regretted spending my 20bucks here at the crave. The cake was so disgusting you could not even swallow the bite it tasted like pure sugar slop. It tasted old and the cake was literally the worst I have ever tasted I would not recommend this place for cake

The chocolate cake.... I cannot say enough about their chocolate cake. This was my major craving my last pregnancy, and it still hits hard. I shared one of their brownies last time i was there. Definitely a 2 person dish. But fantastic just the same. Only one tiny issue- the restaurant is so echo-y. Some acoustic tiles would be great.

I had an incredible experience at Crave! The atmosphere was fantastic, creating a delightful ambiance throughout my stay. The service provided was top-notch, exceeding my expectations and making me feel well taken care of. One highlight was the delicious coffee, specifically the southern pecan flavor, which I ordered as a French press serving. It was truly perfect and a delightful way to start my day. The avocado bagel I had was a game-changer — easily the best I've ever had. To make it even more memorable, I decided to add bacon, and the combination was simply spectacular. The flavors complemented each other perfectly. I'm already looking forward to my next visit, especially to indulge in their tempting dessert offerings. Crave left a lasting impression on me with its outstanding atmosphere, service, and delectable culinary delights.

The people here are always sweet as pie. I always get the Oreo Frappe because I can't have coffee, this comes no coffee. It has enough chocolate to satisfy any craving for such, and SO GOOOOODDDDDD. The business itself is always clean and nice looking. It costs less than Star.

I ordered a cinnamon roll and a coffee. The cinnamon roll tasted like soap. Something was off with it this morning on 10/15/2025. The coffee was honestly terrible. May be just what I ordered but it was like watery I couldn’t taste the toasted marshmallow syrup. I honestly believe it’s just oat milk and mocha syrup which is just not good. I couldn’t eat the cinnamon roll.

Captain D's is a fast-food establishment that specializes in serving fried fish and shrimp combo meals, along with gumbo and funnel cakes. The overall dining experience at this restaurant seems to be positive, with friendly and polite staff members. Although there was a brief wait for the order to be taken, the fried foods were cooked perfectly in fresh oil. One customer even mentioned receiving an exceptionally large and delicious piece of fish. Both the dining area and bathroom maintained cleanliness standards.
Overall good experience. Had to wait a minute for order to be taken but everyone was very nice and polite. Fried foods were cooked just right in fresh oil. Husband commented on having gotten one of the best and biggest pieces of fish he has gotten in forever. Dinning area and bathroom were both clean. I miss being able to get my own condiments but the lady wasn't stingy at all, which has been the case at other Captain Ds. Oh and I think the cooks forgot to put my bread on my plate but I never eat it anyway, so wasn't a big deal for me. Make sure you double check your plate.

I don't like being lied to... Got a family meal and requested plenty of cocktail and tartar sauce. Waited 20 minutes to get the food and saw there was no sauce in the bag. I asked the lady if there was sauce because I didn't see anything. She looked me straight in my eyes and told me it was in the boxes. It was my fault for trusting her. I get home and guess what was NOT in the box? You guessed it. Just lazy, but can you really expect anything better?

Food was cold. Over baked stuffed baked potatoes came out dry with absolutely nothing on it. Had to go back and ask for the butter but the potato was so cold that it wouldn’t melt. The service was terrible. The cashier argued with my husband when he pointed to our food and said it wasn’t ready. The rice was hard. We could have had a nice dinner together in a nice restaurant for what it cost. We would go there again.

Ordered on DoorDash and called to make sure they got the changes I made. Whoever answered cursing on the phone like she was irritated cause she didn’t wanna check and said I will have to pay extra. But, I heard a manager in the back and said it’s the same price. After paying almost $60 for food I just wanted to make sure everything was correct! Very rude… I will not be ordering from here again! North Gloster is better!

I ordered the NEW Seafood Trio with Crispy JUMBO Fish Tender. It's hard to tell in the pic but, if any of it is JUMBO I would hate to see the regular size. I think they got my fish from the minnow pond. Lol I got 2 tartar for 2 pieces of fish an 2 cocktail for 3 small shrimp also 2 containers of lemon JUICE, not lemon wedge. Fish was okay, I have had better. Not sure it was worth $8.00.

Nestled near the BancorpSouth Arena in Tupelo, MS, Fairpark Grill is a vibrant and modern dining spot that beautifully blends American, Southern, and Tex-Mex flavors. This trendy venue is not just about great food; it also boasts an inviting atmosphere perfect for both locals and visitors. The diverse menu features everything from juicy steaks to delectable seafood and tasty vegetarian options, ensuring there's something for everyone.
A Table for Two: We got seated quickly on a Saturday afternoon. The staff were friendly from the hostess, the waitress, the kitchen servers and the manager. I ordered a Caesar Salad and the Salmon Plate with the Honey Sauce. The sauce alone was superb in flavor and everything on my plate was seasoned to perfection. The Cesar salad was fresh and it was a nice size starter plate. I also ordered the pomegranate mule but the cocktail did lack alcohol & pomegranate flavoring. You could taste the ginger beer more than anything. My date ordered the fried chicken sandwich with fries. The fries were slightly cool but seasoned well as well as the chicken from the sandwich. The lettuce & tomato were fresh. All in all even with the minor flaws, this place is definitely worth retrying!

Nice place with a good size bar and friendly service. I had one of their specialty salads with a skewer of beef. My wife had the NOLA pasta that included shrimp, chicken, and crawfish. I was a little put off that my salad bowl was smudged. Usually, the kitchen will wipe the bowl before serving, making it a bit more presentable. Regardless, the salad was good, but the beef was a bit tough, slightly overcooked. My wife enjoyed the NOLA pasta. It was nicely spiced, and there was a good sized serving.

I had a great dinner at Fairpark Grill in Tupelo. I started with the chips and queso, which were warm and creamy with perfectly crisp chips. The wedge salad was fresh and flavorful, with crunchy lettuce, bacon, and tangy bleu cheese. For my main dish, I went with the chicken fettuccine Alfredo, and it did not disappoint—creamy, garlicky sauce over tender pasta and chicken, with just the right balance of richness. The atmosphere was lively and modern, and the service was attentive and friendly. Overall, Fairpark Grill is a solid spot for a delicious, well-rounded meal in Tupelo.

Brunch at 10 Am on a Sunday. Ordered the eggs Benedict with fruit and hash browns. Eggs Benedict were ok, nothing to brag about added salt to give them a little taste. They had very very light hollandaise sauce. Very disappointed the hash browns were the frozen kind, not homemade and they tasted frozen. Coffee was excellent. Waitress was excellent. When the waitress heard my disappointment in the hash browns, a manager showed up and offered me a baked potatoes to replace the hash browns. The potato was what dreams are made of. Amazing taste, fresh, soft and fluffy. Thank you. Great experience overall.

Birthday dinner. Seated quickly by host Will. Very responsive. Server was Jacob, not so responsive. Waited a while for drink orders. Caught Will walking by to ask for our server, minutes later he show up. Upon receiving our cocktails we asked to wait a minute before ordering. Twenty minutes later (way longer than we expected) Jacob came by to take our order. Salad and entree delivered by other servers. Finished dinner, waited another 20 minutes to have the plates picked up. In the interim, watched Jacob in the kitchen eating a meal. Food fabulous, service not so much. If you’re looking to be properly served this is probably not the place to go.

8pm waitlist was fast for my last minute party of 7. All main courses were phenomenal but the side of mac n' cheese was dryer than a worm in the sun, taste like it too. Bro making the steaks, made my night! The bar will put in the work too make sure your drinks come fast and hit hard. Expect 20% gratuity even if you have a party of 6 or more. Low key pissed me off. I wont go back for that reason. I usually give massive tips but sinse they chose a tip for me...thats what they got. Too bad really.

Everything was amazing! When I called to make the reservation, I was taken care of and treated so well. I told them it was my birthday, I was met with excitement and warm wishes. I also have gluten free needs, and was told they have a separate menu and a dessert I could enjoy. In the restaurant, again I was greeted with birthday wishes and my large party was seated immediately. Our server Beth was on point and honestly the most incredible server I’ve ever had. She made an effort to not only greet me by name and make certain I had what I needed, but she learned everyone’s names and expertly cared for each of us. We received our food so timely and everything was prepared perfectly. It was an amazing experience and everyone in my party looks forward to returning. I am so grateful that I didn’t get sick and had a delicious meal and incredible cocktails. The dessert was super decadent and so good!!! Thank you so much for a great experience, especially thanks to Beth!! She deserves everything good in this world!

Very good, local restaurant. Charming and relaxed atmosphere. Always greeted quickly when we arrive. Service is very quick and the food is served nice and hot. They will adjust spice level for you- just let them know. Plenty of appetizer and soup choices. Lots of noodle and rice dishes. Seafood, chicken, beef and veggie dishes. Check out the online menu for a complete list. The Panang Noodle is an interesting dish with large fried noodles in a creamy curry sauce with chicken and vegetables. The Red Curry is delicious and can be ordered with your choice of protein. They have a couple of dessert items. They serve alcohol.

We were visiting Tupelo for four nights and loved Sao Thai so much, we ate there three times! The food was fresh, delicious, and felt very authentic. I had the seafood salad, papaya salad, chicken satay, and coconut shrimp—all so good. The staff was super friendly and helpful. On our first night, I accidentally left my Gucci sunglasses. I didn’t notice until the next day and was so worried—but when I called, they had found them and saved them for me. That really meant a lot. The prices were just right, there’s plenty of parking, and the whole experience was great. We kept coming back because they truly earned our trust and our business. Highly recommend!

Food is fantastic- did not expect this of Tupelo - here for a day only. We wanted to go to the Blue Canoe but that one was stuffed like sardines in a can with another group waiting to be seated - what a great decision we have made to come to this Thai place! Great food, great appetisers. We had basil duck with fried calamari, thai beef jerky and shrimp crispy rolls - totally satisfied with the food, with service and availability of seating.

This was our first visit. The atmosphere is unexpected. It feels like time warp back to the 40s or 50s inside, but not in a bad way. There was old 40s jazz and ballads playing quietly in the background. It made me feel like I was experiencing an immigrants journey through American culture in the early-to-mid 29th century. The food was fantastic! Recognizable Thai dishes but many with subtle twists to make them unique. My wife got the Panang Chicken Curry. She said the flavor was awesome and the fried noodles (tempura style) were interesting. She said the texture was almost like a tempura vegetable, so it took her brain a bit to adjust to what it was. My Drunken Noodles with Scallops were fantastic, down to the clever garnish of a cucumber carved into a flower! It had the perfect balance of spice and umami, complimenting the functions texture and delicate flavor of the scallops. Our appetizers were also great: quality potstickers and chicken satay. We also shared a Spicy Thai Beef Salad... this was even better than the appetizers! It was the perfect balance of herbs, greens, and the tangy, spicy vinaigrette. The only downside of the experience was our server. She seemed very distracted by the bartender and didn't know how to talk about the specials. She had to bring the manager over to answer our questions. Everything else made up for the average service.

After seating and being given menus and water, we waited nearly 20 minutes in an unbusy restaurant to have our orders taken. We asked they split the checks into 2 parties right up front. There were three people hanging around behind the bar, so they weren’t short staffed. The food was good and came out in a timely manner. Whoever was in the kitchen, was on the ball. No one came by to check on us. They seemed to be in a hurry to take our dishes away and sweep and mop. When I asked what time do you close? —worried we had stayed past closing time—they said 9 pm. It was 8:15. We waited and waited for our checks. Finally one of the servers came with an hand held device and we had to request the checks be split again, but the amounts seemed off by several dollars on my check. The items seemed correct, so after discussion with the server, I paid and was then given the printed copy of the receipt after I inserted my credit card. I told someone behind the bar before I left that I felt I was overcharged after seeing the print out of the receipt and they said they add a fee for credit cards and apologized. - As an example, peanut sauce was $3 instead of $2.50 and tea $2.59 instead of $2.50. I didn’t see a notice of that credit card fee on the menu. Perhaps it was there, but I missed it. We could have paid cash if we had known. In retrospect, it may have been better to have had delivery done to our hotel. The food was good. The servers didn’t seem to want to be there or maybe they were new and need further training. I usually tip closer to 30%, but only tipped 18%. This was our first trip to Tupelo.

My family really enjoyed this charming little Thai restaurant. We always prefer to support a local restaurant wherever we go. This one was decorated with antiques in a tasteful manner and the food was fresh and flavorful. The sampler appetizer came out piping hot and gave us a good taste of several things. I usually get a curry dish at Thai restaurants but was drawn to the description of the ground chicken basil over brown rice and it was delicious, great flavors topped off with a runny-yolked egg. My husband and 9 year old son liked the Shrimp Pad Thai. Food was moderately priced but it was high quality. Portions were smaller than most other restaurants so I was glad we got an appetizer too. If we ever go through Tupelo again, we’d definitely visit this gem.

Steele's Dive is a rustic spot known for its American and Southern cuisine, as well as drink specials. Despite its unassuming appearance, the roadhouse-style atmosphere and delicious food keep patrons coming back. Referred to as Tupelo's Back Porch, this spacious locale features live music most nights on its patio while serving up classic Southern dishes. Visitors rave about the smothered chicken with fried okra and smoked cabbage, along with the All-American burger and fries.
Great place, good was awesome and not overly priced. We got in and were seated right away. Didn't think to take pictures until half way through supper 🙄

Great place to get some good ol fashioned southern cooking. Got the smothered chicken with fried okra and smoked cabbage and holy hell did it hit the spot. Especially the smoked cabbage, I cannot stop thinking about just how good it was. Chicken was very flavorful and juicy, the chicken gravy and crispy onions on top just sealed the deal. And of course you can never go wrong with some fried okra. I don’t have it anywhere around where I live so it’s always a treat when I’m able to get some. Couple beers as well to seal the deal. Staff was friendly and the food came out quickly. Would love to see this place when it’s really popping and when the porch is open.

Older western-themed decor in a bar and grill type atmosphere. There is a lounge area as well as a dining area. Service was spotty and confused even though there seemed to be plenty of staff. Staff was friendly and helpful when approached, but they definitely had to be approached to attend to our needs. Food took a bit long to come out (35 minutes) and was luke-warm. The food definitely seems like it would be great when hot, but that wasn't our experience. The onion rings are the hand-battered flour type, which is a big plus for me. Just wish they had been hot. It was odd when paying cash, they would only give me change to the even dollar. They said they "round up" your bill to the next dollar. Only a few cents but why do that? They also do a Sunday lunch "buffet" type deal with a meat and three which is pretty good. After all the great reviews on this place about dinner, we had to try it. I would say give it a try. I will try again and hope the food will be hot. It seemed like it would be amazing when fresh from the kitchen.

Worse service ever! I had asked for a suggestion of what to eat, since I couldn't make my mind up. My server suggested the buffalo style chicken nachos. My nachos barely had meat or cheese, on it. I asked for something else, since I wasn't pleased with my selection that the server recommended. I was told, "WE DO NOT SEND FOOD BACK." I was like okay, but I was told that the chicken would be shredded. It wasn't. I was extremely disappointed and not happy. I WILL NOT BE GOING BACK TO THIS PLACE. If I could give ZERO STARS I WOULD! Food was not good at all. The second picture is what they served me, in the restaurant. The first picture is what I did to it, when I got home. This is a big difference, I could have made this better, at home. Save your money!

The food came out hot and ready to eat, but...they don't know how to serve the customer. We did order simple entrees but when they brought the appetizer, the came right out behind it with our entrees. Not as asked. I won't go back unless it's with a party.

We left feeling full and happy after I shared my favorite burger and fries anywhere (the All-American burger) with my kiddo for lunch. I don't know what magic they season the burger patty with, but it is delicious! And if you can eat the whole thing yourself, you deserve a pat on the back 👏 The restaurant is super clean, the staff is helpful and attentive, and the portions will send you home with a to-go box almost every time. It's delicious southern food that someone's grandma must be whipping up back in that kitchen every day. We make it a point to pop in whenever we are on the west side of town. Our massive burger meal and two teas today totaled approx $15 before tip. *Don't be afraid to get whatever dessert they have available...they are all delicious! And the chicken & dumplings and chicken & dressing round out my top 3 favorite menu items, but you have to be there on the right day to get your hands on those!

We went for Catfish Friday at lunch and everything was fantastic! From our server, Anna Kate, to the generous portion sizes, we couldn't have asked for a better experience! Ps: they have Diet Dr. Pepper 🙌🙌

Very great experience! Staff was nice and warm and the food was great! I chose the fried crawfish tails for an appetizer and the 12 oz Sirloin (medium) for my entree.

Kermit's Soul Kitchen, owned by Chef Mitchell McCamey, offers a unique farm-to-table dining experience in historic downtown Tupelo. The rustic yet trendy ambiance and soulful menu with a twist of inspiration create a memorable dining atmosphere. The carnivore-centric mains are complemented by vegan options, and the wood-grilled cooking style adds to the high-end twist.
My taste buds had a wonderful lunch 😋 I tried the Smoked wings with a sweet and tangy sauce paired with the Honey, Goat cheese and chickpea salad 😋😋😋 Fast and Friendly service! Absolutely loved the atmosphere and music! I sat at the bar area and chatted with the chef for bit! Awesome experience definitely recommend!

Perfect in every way! Fresh and delicious ingredients that put other restaurants to shame. Great burgers and fries and tacos and cake and... so much more. I want to try it all. Nice location with easy street parking in historic downtown Tupelo. Friendly and helpful staff. Pleasant atmosphere both downstairs and upstairs. A multitude of seating options, such as the harvest table to enjoy your food while sitting with friends or family or strangers that become your friends. There is also a beautiful bar upstairs. I discovered today that this town is the birthplace of Elvis. So, this restaurant has an appropriate amount of Elvis photos and related memorabilia.

In looking for new dining experience, our group was sent to Kermit's downtown Tupelo. Most of the time, I start with a basic dish to set a baseline such as a cheeseburger and fries. This location had a brisket burger instead of beef and so I gave it a go. It was not a disappointment. However, it did seem to be just not of my taste. My coworkers got the sausage and cheese plate and were very satisfied with it. So when I go back I will be having the same. The atmosphere was fantastic, and the service was spot on. Parking may be difficult but should be expected when dining downtown anywhere. I recommend giving this restaurant a try whenever you f8nd yourself in Tupelo looking for something different from the usual. 9/10 highly recommend.

Farm to Table concept. The limited menu allows the staff to present fresh, amazing dishes that combine unique flavors and combinations to familiar ingredients. I recommend being seated where you can get a good view of the open kitchen as the staff is very talented and a pleasure to watch as they prepare every meal to order. The generous drink menu is worth reading all the way through as there are some out side of the box options rarely seen. The staff was friendly and very knowledgeable about every detail of the menu and all the locally sourced ingredients. If you are looking for a great atmosphere with incredible dishes and service, this is the place to come while in Tupelo!

Also known as Kermits Outlaw Kitchen. Soul food at its best. Fried Pork Belly with everything. Not much service as you order and then sit down... but everyone was friendly. Lots of old stuff on the walls. Mostly Elvis era. recommend and will go back.

STOP! Yep, stop and get in there. This was such an amazing dinner. To be fully honest, I was not sure what to expect but this place was just great. First they have a large selection of whiskeys and bourbons. That never hurts, but then there was the menu. Not a deep menu but one that had a few items that interested us. We ended up ordering a half dozen oysters, a veggie platter and a teres major. I am not an oyster person, at all, but I indulged my partner and agreed to go for it since they were cooked and covered with bacon and parmesan cheese. Well, that wasn't bad at all. Then came the steak, cooked perfectly with a nice sauce and some home style potatoes. Yeah, that was good. Ok, so let's talk about that veggie platter. What the hell? Well, yep, someone figured out how to pille on a bunch of veggie and make it tasty as F##K. Well balanced, full of flavors, from brussel sprouts (not soggy or bitter) to snapy and yummy carrots, from ear of corn to celery slaw, from grilled asparagus to collard greens. This was awesome, and yes, I am the guy that normally shies away from vegetables. Going from Birmingham AL to Memphis TN this was the perfect spot to stop. Try it out folks! PS: we did also gave in and tried the strawberry shortcake. No regrets AT ALL! ;-)

This was the best restaurant meal I have had in a very long time. The flavor of the smoke permeated every bit of my chicken. The accompanying sides were crisp and perfectly cooked. This is the kind of food where you taste the freshness of the ingredients. Make sure to get the banana boat for dessert. The staff are super friendly and knowledgeable, so asked where to go and what to do in town. We were sent on a great date night!

Fantastic food and cocktails and the atmosphere is quirky and awesome! We had the cauliflower and brussel sprouts appetizer and the Butcher Picnic for two. The appetizer was delicious, and the platter was plentiful and flavorful. We ate at the bar, and the bartender is amazing!! We'll be coming back soon!

I thoroughly enjoyed my dining experience at Amsterdam Deli. Despite the bustling atmosphere, the wait for our food was minimal and all the dishes were prepared to perfection. The waiting area was also quite comfortable, and I particularly appreciated the dimly lit ambiance. The standout items for me were the impeccably seasoned beef shawarma and delectable bourbon wings. Prior reviews mentioned concerns about portion sizes of the shawarma, but personally, it left me feeling satisfied enough to share with my daughter.
Excellent chicken wings, juicy on the inside, crispy on the outside. The Gyro was also excellent, with lots of meat! This is a great place to stop. Very cool atmosphere and decoration. Tasty spices!
Gunars C — Google review
We ordered the bone in wings with Mac and cheese and a burger and fries. The food looked amazing, however it was not. The wings were very fatty and not fried crispy at all. They were some of the worst wings we’ve had in a very long time. The pieces were just full of fat. The Mac and cheese looked good, but lacked in flavor. The cheeseburger 🍔 was decent. I asked for well done and it was, yet it was still juicy. The fries were basic fries, twisted. They were okay. I would have preferred better seasoning on the fries. The service was exceptional. Change Fest was going on outside, and the John Clayton White Band was playing. Decent band.

Great food, good service, interesting atmosphere. Don’t let the name fool you, Amsterdam is your place for Greek and middle-eastern meet america…and Italian…and others! It’s unique menu of items prepared well. The hummus is good with perfectly toasted pitas. The chicken wings are golden fried, crispy but not breaded and seasoned right. Will get the lemon pepper again. The 12” supreme pizza had all the toppings and was loaded. Service was good. It is not lightning fast. The food is made fresh and hot. Neat vibe, open concept restaurant with open views in kitchen, bar, dining room and stage. A Tupelo favorite.
Matthew — Google review
Popular Mediterranean menu, with an Italian twist and a Dutch name, comes with excellent large, twisty fries and the gyro I have ever enjoyed. Smaller servings then then lesser gyros elsewhere, thinner wrap then elsewhere make this a full and flavored gyro. Wife loved hers as much and praised the warm fries even more.

Best lamb burger I've ever had (and I've traveled internationally just for food). The service was excellent. My partner and I came in on a night when it wasn't very busy, so we got to chat extensively with Amir, the owner's nephew. I actually really wanted to go back the very next day for that burger again, but we were only there for a very short weekend and had a wedding to go to the next day and flew out the morning after the wedding. I'd love to visit them again just for that burger. I probably won't opt to share it again. I want one all to myself next time.

I had the shish kabobs with grilled veggies and Amsterdam rice. Everything was good. The staff is super cool and fun especially the bartender Esma.

All around great midtown vibe. Live music as well. Enjoyed the lamb and house made Hummus.

I got the spinach and feta flat bread, beef shawarma, and tiramisu. The olive oil on the flat bread is the TRUTH! Everything was phenomenal! Very clean restaurant with attentive staff. Loved the ambiance, and it was easily on par flavor wise with anything we've ordered in Bahrain or Turkey.

Nestled in the heart of downtown, The Stables Downtown Grill is a charming tavern that beautifully marries history with a lively atmosphere. Housed in a turn-of-the-century stable, this unique venue retains much of its original character, featuring exposed brick walls and an inviting bar. It's not just about the ambiance; locals flock here for delicious American pub fare like juicy burgers and their famous blackened catfish nachos.
Fun little bar with excellent food. Service was fast and atmosphere was great. We had the blackened catfish nachos as an appetizer and fried catfish platters. They were on point.

We had never been here before but that's probably the best catfish I've ever eaten. Rachel was a fantastic waitress, so incredibly sweet and attentive. Great atmosphere, cool location, laid back, excellent food for a great price. We will definitely be back.

Go look at my other reviews, I don't drop stars like this lightly! No. 1. Atmosphere (Davis Alley) THE BEST IN TUPELO MS No. 2. The Service THE BEST IN TUPELO MS Our waitress stayed on top of all our needs! No. 3. The Food THE BEST IN TUPELO MS The blackened catfish nachos are remarkable (destroyed before getting a picture). I had the Stable Burger with EVERYTHING minus the mushrooms. This is THE BEST BURGER in Tupelo MS! My wife had the patty melt and raved about it also. And let's not forget, the beer was cold!

For 5:00 in the afternoon the atmosphere was kind of blah here. The waitress was friendly, but not real attentive. She spent a lot of time with the customers that were drinking alcohol. We were not. We ordered a Philly cheesesteak with no onions. We specifically asked for the bell peppers. They left them off too. The waitress never even noticed. I had the shrimp poboy. We both had fries. The fries and the sandwiches were very salty. Too salty. We also ordered the blackened catfish nachos, a half order. They were the best thing we had. The poboy would have been much better if they would taken it easy on the salt. The shrimp were big and crispy. The sauce on the poboy was good. The fries were good if you ate them while they were still very hot. By the time we finished eating they were very rubbery. This is typical of frozen fries. They were okay when they were very hot, just all that dang salt 🧂🧂. I would like to go back and maybe see if we could catch a different cook there maybe.

The historic Stables Bar & Grill is a literal hole-in-the-wall, but a well-known local hangout. Fresh grilled salmon or salad for me, thanks. Popular daily plate lunches available for extra hungry folks & a full bar to keep you there from lunch well into the night.

We stumbled upon The Stables by accident when another restaurant we were going to weren't serving catfish. We were very happy to discover it because we had a great meal. We both ordered the catfish with fries and the fish and fries were cooked perfectly. The fish had the right amount of crunch while the fries were hot and crispy. The hush puppies and slaw were good too. The service was great and we liked the atmosphere. We couldn't believe we had been in Tupelo for nearly 3 years and hadn't been to this hidden gem. We will definitely be back to try their burgers and chicken fingers if we can keep from ordering the fish. Give The Stables a shot if you haven't already.

This place is a hidden gem!!! We just moved to Tupelo and came across this place by accident! The food is excellent, The prices are very reasonable. The wait staff and everyone are super friendly. Next weekend we're coming for the Brunch!!!

The food is the very best of the best. Today, I had a cheeseburger with everything...and I mean everything. Cheddar, pepperjack, pickles, green peppers & onions, bacon, and a well-seasoned beef patty on a toasted bun with butter. Come on now! And a side of the BEST fries in town (hands down). As always, I had to carry half of my burger home. *Our most recent friends' lunch food selections included a catfish plate (plenty big to share), patty melt, pastrami and swiss, and Philly cheese steak. All EXCELLENT! Menus don't include prices, but the prices are very reasonable.

Relics Antique Marketplace is a must-visit spot in Tupelo, offering an exceptional antique shopping experience. The 16,000 square foot facility spans two floors and features over a hundred vendor booths showcasing a wide variety of vintage goods including apparel, furniture, clocks, home decor, glassware, cutlery, paintings, and jewelry. It's a treasure trove for antique enthusiasts looking to explore unique finds.
This place is big! Lots to see. 2 floors. We enjoyed looking around but left without buying anything. Just wasn't our day I guess. We did feel that it was a little expensive, but who knows? I still enjoyed myself.

Had a really nice visit here yesterday! Lots of old and some newer stuff. Friendly staff there and thanks for the good service! It was a Sunday and they were very busy. A lot of the local antique shops close on Sundays in Columbus and Starkville so we headed an hour north to Tupelo. We appreciate them having full weekend hours! Dropped a bundle on some (very) large antique furniture and lamps. Rented a UHaul to get it home. All went as well as it could have on this beautiful fall weekend. We'll be back the next time in the area.

I had some time to shop around while I was in town & found this cute vintage store. The stair case going to the second floor was a cute photo moment. Lots of items to look through. I plan to come back and look again when I have more time! I got 2 Elvis stickers.

Nautical Whimsey Italian is a cozy, family-owned eatery that serves traditional Italian dishes and offers outdoor seating. As spring approaches, it becomes an enticing option for dining out. Their menu includes classic pasta and pizza options, along with other beloved Italian favorites. The restaurant has a charming patio where patrons can enjoy their meal while relishing the pleasant weather. This establishment has received positive feedback from customers who have appreciated its alluring ambiance and delectable cuisine.
We had the chicken Parmesan and the Prosciutto Scampi 🍤. Both were amazing. We literally had three meals off of each item. If two people want to share the same meal, they will bring an extra plate. The portion sizes are astronomical in size, and the food is delicious. The wait time was pretty long, but they were very busy. The owner’s son was our waiter. He was great. I highly recommend. We ate at a table in outside in the alleyway. Nice!

The Nachos - O.M.G. you HAVE to try their Nachos if you like Italian flavor! And the Fried Cheese Fritters ARE HUGE! (I was so amazed I forgot to take a picture!) But it was a great visit with amazing food in an awesome Tupelo, MS eatery! I will be back at the Christmas Holiday (I live in Jackson, MS)
Annette S — Google review
We were passing through and I found this place on Google when we were about 2 hours away. So I had plenty of time to look at the reviews and make sure this place was worth the stop especially with so many other eateries around. When we pulled into town we were very confident we made the right choice because most of the restaurants were either empty or half empty but this one was full and we were third on the waiting list. The service was great and I have absolutely nothing bad to say about our server. The food however was sub par. My son got the spaghetti and meatballs and I understand that a big ole meatball gives a great shock value but it was dry as can be. I've never seen a meatball that my son wouldn't eat, if I thought it was a one off I would have mentioned something to the server but it's not exactly something you are going to remake fresh. The second issue was with the "market price" on the filet mignon. Some restaurants, this being one of them are getting a little too frivolous with the use of market price. Market price should be reserved for things that are caught fresh that morning not meat that only fluctuates a few cents either way weekly. I will fully take the blame on this one but I ordered the 12 oz filet and assumed the market price would be reasonable as was the rest of the menu but to my shock when the bill came the filet was $68.00 (no salad) this only included a baked potato. I almost could have justified my filet being 68.00 if it had not been the most bland filet I'd ever had in my life. It has a sweet sauce on it that completely overwhelmed the unseasoned steak. Sweet sauce should only be used with steaks with bold/salty flavor. This steak had zero flavor. Again if I thought this was an issue that could be fixed by sending it back I would have. But with all this being said I'm not going to get on here and give a bunch of one star ratings just because I had a bad experience. I was just passing through and my experience may have been a one-off. The locals seem to love it, the place was packed and the service was great. So there's absolutely no reason not to try this place out and see for yourself, I just recommend you ask about the market price before ordering 😂.

This place seemed to be a good place to try when visiting tupelo. I love Italian. Few things id like to say though. 1. It wasn't busy when we went and still took 30 minutes to get our food. Our server was sub par. 2. The food was smothered in too much cheese and took away the flavor. I got the chicken manicotti 3. The other person I went with ordered the very expensive filet mignon. It was over cooked and had an awful sauce on it. Suggestion to the company: read your reviews. Listen to your customers as they help keep you open. Stay on the cooks tails about time management and take that awful sauce off of that steak. Everyone knows a good steak doesn't need sauce anyways. It tastes sour and ruins it! The best thing I ate was the crab cakes but even still there were so many peppers in it for some reason... Sincerely, Maddie.

First 2 trips were amazing, 3rd today was the nastiest food I've gotten from a restaurant. Fillet tasted horrible, meat balls were straight pepper, chicken in the alfredo was rock hard. Took 2 hours to get food on the table on a Thursday night. Managers refused to fix or comp any meal ordered. Left every entree ordered on table.

We stopped by right before they closed today. The cashier went out of her way to guide us with our selection. The food was spectacular and the service was excellent. The sides, potato salad, corn on the cob and baked beans were scrumptious. We’re visiting from the west coast, it’s too bad we don’t have access to barbecue like this. The blueberry cheesecake was out of this world I am giving them a 5 star plus. Thanks for your southern hospitality. Thumbs up to the chefs and cashier.

1st time in this town or this Bait shop- So let’s go- Started off with the incredible order taker, she was so friendly, like you are at home with family that truly loves you! The food was like when you were a kid and you dreamed of all the incredible things you were going to have for Thanksgiving, at your Grandmother’s house (But BBQ)!! The Ribs , oh so tender and the meat fell off the bone, paired with the house fries and Rib Corn (rib corn right??? It’s a corn cob cut down the middle and deep fried and seasoned - omg …..) The GF had the Pulled pork Tater, it was fantastic also! We got a Blueberry cheesecake of some sort that was a so incredible that after I tried it I couldn’t stop (I hate blueberry) but this creation of pure kitchen talent, is what a fat kids dreams are made of! Do not let the building or the parking lot fool you as this is PREFECT BBQ, the real deal!

Rating on back story and continuing the business through tough times, rating 5+, so really really wanted to love this spot. BBQ alone 3.5 to 4 All was good and worth a stop if travelling through. However, not currently worth a detour if travelling for Q. I would stop just to support their efforts as they continue to hone their craft. Ribs - Good spice rub and profile, classic pork rub with brown sugar and spice. The ribs needed a little more time on the pit. They were just short of "competition pull". So just a bit more tender and these would have been spot on. Pulled pork - Same rub, executed well and would be a go to for any of the potatoes etc. Moist and good bark bits mixed in. Pork Belly - Well executed pig candy

Place has good food but they will tell you how long its going to take your food then you better add 30 more mins to it because its never ready when you pick it up. Like meat should already be cooked its bbq. Shouldn't take that long for bbq and fries.

First time trying this place out kinda bland tbh. The cannolis was good but the pasta and shrimp had no flavoring I got alfredo with blackened shrimp and it hardly had any seasoning kinda disappointed but nothing some salt and a big doctoring can’t help sweet people though!

Restaurant nice and clean along with nice atmosphere. We went on a Sunday. So as far as seating and parking, may be different other times. Food presentation and quality, I give it 5 stars. I am a pizza fanatic and I look for new places when I visit new areas. On the pizza, I give it 3.5 stars. Amount of ingredients, cheese, and outer crust, 5 stars. On the crust being under the toppings, I give it 2.5 stars. I think they gauge doneness by the outer crust, but they would be batter to leave in over an additional 1.5 to 2 minutes longer. With that many ingredients, underneath is going to take longer. I had the all meat. The sauce, a 2.0. Just didn't have that much flavor. Intensify the flavor of the sauce and make pizza crust underneath more done, I would rate 5 stars. Wife had Alfredo dish and added shrimp. Her comment was that everything about it was good but the sauce was bland. She said she added more salt because it didn't have hardly any flavor. She went on to say the sauce she bought from grocery was much more flavorable. This is an honest critique. I understand that the restaurant has been open for a long time. These may even be family recipes used, but I hope you see some benefit from it. The intention is not to hurt your business. On the pizza sauce, adding in some tomato paste would bring it up a level. Would I come back again when coming that way, yes. Did we get good service....excellent. Was anything done wrong making the food not to get a 5....maybe the time on the pizza, but not have eaten there before, I have no idea how long the pizza are normally cooked. Really comes down to the taste of the sauces. Another option on the pizza sauce is to offer your regular and give a second option with at least twice the boldness. Make the customer aware so they can choose for more of a stronger option.

TOP NOTCH all the way around!!!! Lovely location in downtown Tupelo, great space and atmosphere, and the FOOD - 10 Stars!!! We were traveling home to AL from AR, so this was a great stop. We had an appetizer of cheese bread, shared a Caesar salad, my entree was the baked spaghetti, and my daughter ordered the special - chicken parm. She had Tiramisu for dessert. The portions were so large, we had 2 meals more EACH from the leftovers. Everything is handmade, fresh, and delicious. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Clean dining room and restroom. Highly recommend!!!

$11.99 buffet was good. The brisket was great. The angel hair pasta was dry. Pizza was great! French onion soup was great also. I suggest dipping the garlic bread in the soup. The service was excellent as always. The baklava was oh so good. It wasn’t included, but I had to have some. Great!!!

Great calzone, lasagna, and cheese triangles. Very nice staff and reasonably priced. Will definitely return when in Tupelo.

During the lunch break, the service at Dairy Kream was prompt and the staff members were pleasant and accommodating. The food provided was piping hot, delectable, and reasonably priced. This long-established establishment exudes a nostalgic charm reminiscent of an old-fashioned dairy bar. Although parking is limited, orders are efficiently processed. It is important to note that only cash payment is accepted here, which may be easy to overlook after a lengthy absence.
Have always enjoyed the small ice-cream drive-in since I was a young boy. Great location next to Elvis Presley's Birthplace.

Well. We had the double cheeseburger with bacon. It is great. The only complaint on the burger is the patties are about the size of a sausage. They are seasoned and juicy though. The fries were requested to be cooked crispy. They were perfect. In times past they needed to be cooked longer. The swirl ice cream cone was great also. The environment: Flies everywhere. The outside seating was full of flies and fly traps. The inside was full of flies as well. We ate in the truck. Nostalgic place, good food, and too many flies.

You go back in time when eat here. They say they’ve been there since 1955. I had a burger that was very tasty. If you’ve had an In-N-Out it’s very similar.

I ordered the sliced ribeye sandwich and for the life of me could barely find any meat, my son got a double cheeseburger & it looked as tho they halved the one patty in half to make it a double - the onion rings were decent but definitely won't be back! Oh & it's cash only, they suggest driving to the gas station for the ATM!

It's a dairy bar to get wonderful soft serve ice cream cones, shakes and hamburgers. They have covered picnic tables to eat on or choose to eat in your car. BEST ICE CREAM AROUND.

Best burgers and shakes in town! 2 cheese burgers with everything, a side of fries and 2 large shakes cost approx $16. It is a CASH ONLY restaurant. There are not any outdoor tables at the moment due to Covid-19. I highly recommend this small, local business!

So, been a minute since I came to visit here. My previous experience was always good. Today is the exception, the banana milkshake didn’t have any real banana like it used to have. It was a syrup. And the girl at the window that took my order was unintentionally rude. When I went to get the shake, she asked if I had ordered (it was only a few min ago) and then informed me that it was ready for 3 minutes already… what has happened to Dairy Kreme?

I love this place, grew up eating ice cream here for Many years, they have a variety of food cooked to order at a reasonable price.
