Factory Outlets
Vacaville Premium Outlets is a must-visit destination for shopping enthusiasts. This outdoor shopping center boasts over 85 stores, offering a wide range of products from renowned brands like Coach, Michael Kors, and Kate Spade. The affordability of the outlets makes it popular among tourists and locals alike, drawing visitors from nearby communities such as San Francisco, Sacramento, and Napa Valley.
Surprisingly one of the biggest premium outlets I have been! Also the range of goods were from low to high, I was very entertained and spent the entire day here!

One of the best outlet malls in the North State. Great prices & selections. We were there this past weekend & found shoes for all my kids. The North Face also had a 60% clearance sale!! Needless to say, it was like Christmas in March!! Time to do an epic haul video.
Kiki M — Google review
Vacaville Premium Outlets is definitely a go-to spot if you’re looking to score great deals on name-brand items. I recently visited and was impressed by the variety of stores and the discounts available. I found some amazing deals at Zales, where the prices on select pieces were significantly marked down—perfect for a special occasion or just to treat yourself. I also found some great finds at a few other shops, especially on shoes and seasonal apparel. The outlet layout is spread across two main sections, so be prepared for a bit of walking, but the grounds are generally clean and easy to navigate. Parking can get crowded during peak hours, but I was still able to find a spot without too much hassle. Most stores were well-stocked and the staff were helpful and friendly. It’s not the most upscale shopping destination, but if you’re after variety, name brands, and solid discounts, this is a great place to spend a few hours. A solid outlet experience overall—and worth the stop if you’re in the area or looking to do some serious bargain shopping!
Lindsey G — Google review
My family absolutely LOVES the Vacaville Premium Outlet Mall! We live a few hours away and drive over the hill for about 3 hours each direction to shop here. We come a few times a year, especially during holidays when sales are fabulous! We shop at about 75% of the stores, making purchases at most. We spend a nice chunk of change each time but we make out like bandits with sooo much stuff! Always happy with our experience. Thanks to ALL the employees who put in so much effort to make our time there great and well loved.
Angela B — Google review
Honestly, this is my go to outlet mall. I love how much parking there is and I feel the stores do carry quite a bit of selection as they’re pretty big compared to Livermore. I always find something in this mall, so definitely recommend!
Annie S — Google review
Vacaville Premium Outlets has become a second-class outlet center in recent years. Many premium name-brand outlet stores have moved out after the San Francisco Premium Outlets opened many years ago. The phase one section of the outlet center still has some good stores, but the phase two section is pretty empty, or it has only a few stores I want to shop. The old design with the parking lot in the middle of the outlet mall is also outdated. Most of the shoppers drive their cars directly to the stores they want and skip everything in between! So the less famous stores will have a hard time Survive!
Michael W — Google review
I went to Bath and Body Works. Plenty of products in stock and the staff were amazing. Kory (I can't remember the rest of her name 😭) and Bella were very knowledgeable on the products and offers available 🔥 excellent customer service deserves recognition ✨

They remodeled the plaza and they did a really nice job. I used to come here as a little girl and so when I had kids of course I brought them here. And now my grandkids are already 18 and 16 and I brought them here when they were little ♥️

Very attractive place with great stores including the Rack, Petsmart,, Bestbuy and a variety of restaurants. Very walkable and not over crowded. I had a lot of fun shopping.
Elizabeth Z — Google review
Came here with my kids to show them the Nut Tree i grew up but it was pretty disappointing. The train is underwhelming but okay for little kids, it does two laps around the plaza. Lots of litter in the bushes, and on tables and the train smells like a carcinogen. When I was waiting on the train, the conductor said someone told them that there are people coming from the carousel to catch the train but they never came so we had to wait for 10 minutes. The conductor apologized for the wait. The only reason this is not a 1 star is because of the good customer service from the employees.
Anthony — Google review
My daughter loves this little place. The carousel and the train are both $5 each. There's tables and seating throughout and a little play area in the middle.
Rochelle J — Google review
We went to Nut Tree Plaza to pick up a turkey cranberry havarti on sour dough sandwich and a free monthly sour dough bread. Join the club! We usually eat the sandwich there, but we didn't have the extra time. The center has Starbuck's and Verizon there too! Enjoy this strip center.

Well! I remember the old " Nut Tree"...I used to take my children there quite a bit. And, while things have changed, I would totally recommend this for about 2 hours to keep the children happy. There is a Carousel, and the Nut Tree Train, there is a small park, they provide Chalk for the kids to be creative on the hardware. There are many places to eat, from Sushi, Italian, Hawaiian, Mexican and American. There are loads if little shops and boutiques. Fenton Creamery is there, if you want to have lu ch or just an ice cream. There is a Jelly Belly outlet, an Ulta, See' s Candy, T-Mobile store, Best Buy, Old Navy, Homegoods, BevMo...etc. The tickets are $4 each fir the train, and $4 fir the child only on the Carousel ( the parent or guardian are welcome to accompany the child at no charge). There is shade, and benches...you could easily take a picnic out there if you wanted to! AND, as an added plus. ..their public restrooms are immaculate! Check it out!

Fentons Creamery & Restaurant, established in 1894 in Oakland, California, is a renowned destination famous for its handcrafted ice creams and sauces. The iconic Toasted Almond ice cream flavor created by Melvin Fenton himself is a must-try, especially in the Black & Tan Sundae. Featured on various TV shows and print media, this Bay Area institution has gained worldwide fame. Their homemade ice cream and hot fudge made with fresh ingredients are highly recommended.
One of the best chicken tenders we have ever had there. We tried the chicken tenders and veggie burger. The freshly made ice cream just tastes unreal. We tried their Fentons Special snd Mini Old-fashioned Sundae.

Fentons Creamery in Vacaville is a nostalgic gem that delivers on both flavor and charm. This classic ice cream shop has all the retro vibes you’d expect, complete with traditional diner-style food and an incredible lineup of sundaes and sweet treats. We ordered the chocolate chip cookie sundae, and it did not disappoint — rich, gooey, and piled high with ice cream, whipped cream, and all the toppings. It was more than enough for two people to share and left us smiling (and full). The ice cream itself was creamy and flavorful — clearly made with care. The service was also a standout. The staff were genuinely friendly and attentive, making the whole experience even better. Whether you’re stopping in for lunch or just looking to satisfy a serious dessert craving, Fentons is absolutely worth the visit. Classic, delicious, and welcoming — can’t ask for much more!

Came here on the way to Sacramento. Was able to get seated right away and food came out really quick. Food was kind of meh for how much they charge, but ice cream was delicious. Server was very nice and attentive

My flat little patty melt burger I ordered was mediocre at best. Dang! The other two people in our group were happy with their food and really enjoyed it. My milkshake was excellent. Everyone loved their ice cream 🍦. Staff was attentive and friendly. I wish they would branch out to eastern 🇺🇸 USA. Recommended eatery. PS: Bring extra cash 💸 for the expensive ice cream.

Ambiance: 3/5 - It's a huge hall that can accommodate a lot of people. Portion to Price: 3/5 - I thought the pricing was a bit high but I think it's fairly in line with other places.

This is an american restaurant with ice cream parlor located at Nut Tree Plaza, right next to the playgrounds and kids train. This place looks amazing however I wasn't pleased of the customer service during the visit. We plan to dine in but seems like a long wait on a Sunday late afternoon so I decided to get a to go ice cream. I ordered the butter pecan and the smores. I ordered two ice creams, I got the first one and then the staff suddenly walked away without saying a word or anything at all. I looked and he went to other counter had some chit chat and was laughing with another staff. I wasn't sure if I should wait or what, it took a while before a lady approached me and told her I assumed I was waiting for the other person for my order? She then went to him. Then he came back after the long wait. I do not have problem waiting, I just need to be informed. Upon payment it is asking for a tip for a to-go ice cream.

One of the best & popular creameries around with plenty of varieties to choose from. The taste was authentic & the ice-cream very creamy & delightful. Must visit places in Vacaville.

Delicious ice cream, epic sundaes. Can't beat the quality, flavor or richness of their ice cream. And their hot fudge is the best. This location is a great stop traveling between lake Tahoe or Sacramento on your way to the San Francisco Bay area. And is much less crowded than the Fenton's in Oakland. Nice children's play area just outside their door in the Nut Tree mall as well.

Always a great place to go with family, friends, and soccer teams. Manager checked in on us. Set up was amazing, pizza and all you can drink for the team. Bowling and game room always fun. Clean and great atmosphere!

The person at the front desk was nice. He told us the general manager would be over to explain how everything works. No one came. No biggy wasn’t even mad at this point. What made me mad is we wanted for over 30min for pizza then another 10-15 min for my pitcher of soda which I had to go get because they never brought it. I brought my daughter and her friends to get out and have fun. I’m not sure i will be back. I’ve been here in the pass before and after they new management first time I’ve ever had this issue. If the need more works they should hire them I know lots of young people looking for jobs. The manger seen me when I was getting soda and said he would check on us never came by 🤷🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️ didn’t need him to but it would have been nice if he actually did. It would have shown they do care about their customers. This is just my personal opinion and experience.

I’m a league bowler and come to Lucky Strike pretty often, and Jada is easily one of the best servers here. She’s super friendly, always on top of things, and makes sure everyone’s taken care of even when it’s packed. You can tell she actually cares about the guests and brings great energy every time. Service like hers makes league nights way better.

A bit overpriced for bowling, then the environment isn’t clean for what you’re paying. The restrooms were disgusting each time we went in, no one bothered to clean it once. The military discount is unclear and we were told many different things, but luckily it worked out in the end.

I would definitely recommend Lucky strike to all my friends and family for any future reservations for any kind of gathering. Thank you again to operation manager Marsha and her Lucky strike team.. happy 😁

Great bowling alley, modern, lots of TV's, automated bumpers for our visually impaired veterans to play with other veterans on the same lane (would work with kids too), huge arcade with everything from air hockey to giant space invaders (could use a bit more AC, and TLC, but it was super fun anyways). There's a bar in there, I'm sure they have food. Looks like you could throw a pretty big party inside, maybe even a family reunion! There's cocktails served on the lanes, and I know they host leagues. We had a group of about 15 people and were easily accommodated.

Clean, Beautiful Store with Amazing Staff and Fresh Food Nugget Markets in Vacaville is easily one of the nicest grocery stores around. Everything is spotless, well-organized, and beautifully displayed — it honestly makes grocery shopping feel enjoyable. The produce is always fresh, the meat and seafood departments are top quality, and the bakery smells incredible every time I walk in. What really makes this location stand out is the staff. Everyone is friendly, helpful, and genuinely seems to care about customer service. Whether it’s someone helping me find an item or chatting at checkout, they always make the experience feel personal and welcoming. The deli and prepared foods section is also a favorite — perfect for grabbing lunch or dinner when I don’t feel like cooking. Prices are a little higher than average, but the quality and service make it totally worth it. Overall, Nugget Markets is top-tier. It’s clean, classy, and consistently provides a great shopping experience every time I visit.

Nugget Market is one of my favorite places to get really good sandwiches, deli items, bakery items and desserts. The quality of their sandwiches are higher than most supermarkets and sandwich shops. The bakery and deli items are a little pricy, but again, higher quality than most supermarkets. You can find lots of specialty items at Nugget that you cannot find at other supermarkets.

Fuji Sushi Buffet is a rare gem offering an all-you-can-eat experience for sushi and Japanese cuisine. The restaurant features a conveyor belt serving a wide variety of dishes, including tiger roll, dragon roll, caterpillar roll, spider roll, spicy ninja roll, rainbow roll, and Lion King roll.
Never disappointed. Price went up little bit but it was better than prior years. Faster service and friendly server. It was so crowded though.

We normally don't eat buffet, especially sushi buffet. But, thought we should give this a try based on the good reviews. Well, service was great, very friendly staff. The quality of the raw fish was a bit below average. The grilled fish kama was pretty good, so were the deserts, fried banana and sesame balls. I had a lot of edamame which were quite good. So, in conclusion, at $30.99/person for dinner, come if you are not picky about your sushi and you can eat a lot.

Awesome place! Came here for lunch on a friend’s recommendation. The Japanese and Asian dishes were super tasty. Nice variety of sushi and rolls, and the sashimi was really fresh. I just wish they had more dessert options.

This is one of the best lunch sushi buffets that I have ever been to. It is definitely not the best sushi restaurant, but the value for your money and the quality of the fish are very good. My husband and I love this place so much. We go regularly, to the point that many of the staff knows us and our orders. We have had a bad experience with service once and they made a great effort to make the one experience not ruin our love for the restaurant and we have gone back since. The staff is very friendly and attentive, food comes out very quick and is delicious and fresh. The sushi chefs are fantastic and make the best rolls and keep the belt filled and if you let them know they're out they'll refill / make it for you. 10/10 favorite restaurant, has me coming back every couple weeks for date night.

Rice Barn | Thai Eatery and Wine Bar is a cozy spot in Vacaville, CA, offering generous portions of familiar Thai dishes and a selection of wines. The restaurant boasts comfortable outdoor seating with city views and ample parking. Guests rave about the genuine atmosphere, excellent service, and must-try beverages like Thai tea and coffee.
Authentic Thai cuisine with excellent service and a great atmosphere for dinner. I had the drunken man noodles, creamy tom yum soup, and mango sticky rice. All dishes were awesome. Since the place seems pretty popular, you may need to wait 5-10 minutes to get seated. This is probably tied for my favorite spot in Vacaville. Highly recommended!

We got the garlic noodles, crispy chicken fried rice and the pad see ew with tofu. The food was all delicious. The pad see ew was hearty and the noodles let you feel like you were eating someone instead of just slurping. The crispy chicken was extremely tasty and added flavor to the very basic fried rice. The garlic noodles were an amazing set of top ramen noodles without the soup.

One our favorite place for Thai food. Service is excellent. They have outdoor dining which is great if you have a dog. We had the crispy calamari, crispy pork belly, chicken green curry, creamy tom yum, chicken pad thai and eggplant with tofu. Everything was good. The pad thai was a little strong on peanut flavor. The crispy pork belly was very good specially if you eat it with the onions.
Alvin C — Google review
The location and parking are a bit odd but don't let this deter you from visiting, "seriously" don't. Once entering, you will quickly be greeted with professionalism for seating (outdoor/indoor). I much prefer indoor for the charming atmosphere. Water is served in quaint aluminum cups. Great menu choices and they serve up a really delicious Thia Iced Tea. The food has almost always been fresh and delicious based on over 40 personal visits. They do offer take out but please enjoy a meal and drink out inside the restaurant. Dining in you receive much more food for your money too. This is a real gem amongst many stale and boring chain choices.

This place is on a different level. I can't remember if I ever had Thai food before. The dishes were colorful. The flavors were rich, decadent. I've always heard about this place and it's rave reviews but never expected the caliber of food these people are cooking. This place is extraordinary. Their people are special. A must experience. Mind blown.

Highly recommend the crispy pork belly, truffle fried rice, and soft shell crab noodles. Everything was delicious 🤤 thanks to my friend who introduced me to this place, now I have an option to kana moo grab @Thai Canteen in Sacramento and don't have to go so far anymore for that crispy pork belly fix. 😋 however, if you're lactose intolerant, definitely avoid the mango sticky rice 😉

We were delighted to find this place! The food was good. My partner likes HOT food, like hot enough to make you sweat. And, the Rice Barn gave him exactly what he'd asked for. I was happy they made the larb salad with tofu for me - tofu isn't a normal option on their salad menu. However, they were very accommodating. Update: I brought my coworkers here for lunch, everyone loved it. Lots of vegetarian & vegan options. Their pad thai is now gluten-free. It was easy to work with food restrictions. Everyone was happy!

I went for lunch on a weekday. The server was well aware and very helpful in finding dishes that work well with my allergies/sensitivities to dairy (milk products & gluten). The food was very tasty and since it was my first visit they put my requested spices sauce on the side so I coul go as hot as I'd like. Portions were large, with enough extra to bring some home for snacking later. Atmosphere is airy spacious, and pleasant, as I've come to expect in a Thai restaurant. I will definitely return and try many more of Rice Barn's entrees.

Steak house
Tahoe Joe's is a lodge-themed chophouse chain that offers a menu featuring wood-grilled steaks, seafood, and cocktails. While some customers experienced a wait for their table and encountered issues with certain dishes like rubbery green beans and frozen chocolate cake, others had positive experiences with excellent service and delicious food such as the steak sandwich, bacon-wrapped shrimp, and large scrumptious chocolate cake.
I love Tahoe Joe's!! Got the 20 oz ribeye on my birthday with the loaded baked potato and string beans. Delicious!! The hostess was on top of her game so she got a nice tip. And they have the best cheesecake ever.
Anthony H — Google review
Service was good, but the Steak quality has dropped. I ordered the 20 oz. Rib eye but was only able to eat about half due to toughness. They did take 50% off .
Steve G — Google review
There was a 40 minute wait. The service was good for it being shorthanded. The steak and mashed potatoes were good. The green beans were rubbery. Wanted to order dessert but was told the chocolate cake was frozen so we were unable to get it. Wanted to add that they do have temporary operating hours and close earlier than listed. Call ahead for accurate hours.

Enjoyed our first time there that we returned the next night. Jennifer, the new manager gets 5 stars! Thank you for taking care of the mixup where our food was not cooked as requested!
Heather 1 — Google review
A really nice atmosphere, only had a 15 min wait, the prime rib and ribeye 🥩 where cooked just as we had ordered. If you want it faster sit at the bar.
Wez S — Google review
The worst ever : Took the wife here for what we thought would be a good spot walk in a few minutes later was acknowledged by the guy cleaning a table , was told that someone would be with us in 5 mins , no biggie. 15 mins go by and still no one and just as we was walking out the same guy told us we can have a table. Where the waitress finally comes over we had already decided on what we was going to have ( ribs for her chicken strips for me ) . After over a hour in time total ( and it was only 3 others eating ) we finally get our food by the looks of my strips you can tell the grease haven't been changed in who knows how long and even though they looked dried out I breaks one in half to discover the chicken is still raw appetite lost return to sender . I flagged the waitress over to our table and told her the the strips were still raw so I paid for the wife's lunch and we were outta there . Word of the wise Tahoe Joe's please retrain the cook and show him or her the ups and downs on how to cook chicken strips and please change the fryer grease.
Bill B — Google review
Had the prime rib which was mostly tasteless, the au jus was bland, mashed potatoes ok, and the cheesecake came second to Jell-O boxed cheesecake. Overall a terrible meal.

The hospitality was great. The food was enjoyable. I was dining in, and had everyone evenly spread out. Peaceful and quiet also. 👌🏻

Super cute place! Clean & cozy atmosphere. Laura at the bar was super nice & attentive & got everything i asked for, Thanks Laura! Food was delicious & came out fast! Drinks were mixed great as well. I'll definitely be back when passing through the area.

Food was 👏 🤩 amazing and the beer temp was perfect. I love a place with very chilly beer and this was one. We had Jallisco burrito pork with green sauce and beef with red sauce. Both were pretty good and served hot. They had two kinds of salsa, one was spicy hot and the other was temperature hot. I would go back to this place when I come back to the town.
Yerie H — Google review
We always drove by this place for years & decided to try it out for lunch. Definitely some history to this place. The restaurant has banquet style seating. The food was good & our waitress was kind and courteous.

Food is good. I ordered the Chimichunga, it was delicious. Portion sizes are great! Atmosphere is nice and lots to look at! Service left much to be desired. I advocated for my mom with a food allergy and the server did not relay the severity of it to the kitchen and she ended up with a severe reaction that landed us in the ER.
Irene M — Google review
Horrible service. The server was more interested in going home than anything else. The beef fajitas were decent. They give you three tortillas, but no utensils. Not sure how to eat those dishes without them? The churro sundae did come with a spoon, which was interesting. They also don’t accept their own issued gift cards. Monte Vista must be somewhere else. I will definitely stay away from this restaurant.
Ivan M — Google review
One of my favorites of all time! The chicken taco has a crispy shell with tender chicken lettuce cheese and salsa! It's the best! I love their enchiladas and beans and rice and the Colorado beef is tender and delicious too! Service is great and the atmosphere is casual and inviting! It's a must stop when in Vacaville!
James B — Google review
First time customer. I kept it simple and had the carne asada tacos with rice and pinto beans, paired with a mango margarita. Dinner was great and the service was wonderful. The salsa was a bit pasty however my meal was perfect.
Fatima G — Google review
I was very disappointed after spending $56 for two dinners. I got the super quesadilla and man, it was so plain and boring. All it came with was some sour cream and guacamole. No lettuce or tomato or even some good salsa or pico? And the salsa for the chips and salsa tastes like canned tomato sauce. I won’t be going back that’s for sure.

Movie theater
Brenden Theatres Vacaville 16, established in 1998, is a popular spot in Vacaville and offers an array of amenities. It features luxury leather recliners, stadium seating, reserved seating, Dolby Digital Sound, digital projection, and a large screen. This historical downtown theater provides a great way to spend time with family and friends while enjoying the latest movies. Visitors appreciate the comfortable recliner chairs and friendly staff.
I enjoy the reclining seats, and the fact that you can choose your seats prior to arrival. The theater is always clean. The food is pretty good and the employees are always pleasant. I have never had a bad experience at Brenden.
Jessica F — Google review
Good theater, not the best in the area. It better than most. The one I was in had fake leather seats that were in good condition and reclines very far back. The snack trays worked correctly, though a little small. It was clean in spot if many moviegoers just leaving their trash at their seats when the movie was over. The men's bathroom was messy. Many urinals were near overflowing and threatening to do so at any moment. The floor was very wet and slippery. The concession line was quick. You can order without being in line and pick up your items off to the side, this was nice. Solid choice for a family outing, date, or a place to get away from people and enjoy a movie.
Robert H — Google review
Brenden Theatres Vacaville 16 gets 4 stars for its service, pricing, and overall atmosphere. We ordered our tickets online, walked right in with no hassle, and grabbed an XL bucket of popcorn. It’s not refillable anymore, but we added plenty of butter and it hit the spot. The theaters are well maintained and the seating is one of the highlights. The chairs recline and are pretty comfortable, making it easy to settle in and enjoy the movie without distractions. Everything feels clean, and the staff at the counter is always friendly, helpful, and patient. Inside, the space is modern and stocked with everything you need. There’s a mini bar, tons of snack options, and even some hot food if you are looking for a more complete experience. The environment is calm, well-lit, and easy to navigate. The outside of the theater could use a little TLC, but once you step inside, it’s clear the focus is on keeping the moviegoing experience smooth and enjoyable. For a clean, comfortable, and affordable theater experience, this spot gets it right. Follow me and friend me for more honest reviews that help you find places worth your time.

The best movie theater in Solano county - bar none! Loved the reclining seats with lots of room. Saw Ballerina on the curved screen and it was Great. For adults you can watch your movie while drinking a beer. Popcorn is reasonably priced to - $12.50 for the big tub. I will watch all my movies here!
Joe L — Google review
The reclining seats are so worn down, I really doubt they’re being properly sanitized. Also the screen had a bunch of blue dots all over it. I think they need to put the money toward renovations and less murals on the outside of the building.
E T — Google review
There is absolutely nothing special about this theater. Went and saw ‘How to Train Your Dragon’ a month back and both the screen and sound quality were horrible. Purple dots on the screen and the sound was extremely muffled. This theater is in desperate need of a remodel
Jeremy M — Google review
We came to see the new movie Thunderbolts. I paid nearly $50 for 3 tickets. The movie started 20 minutes late after I went out to the concession counter twice to tell them there was a problem with the video and the lights were still up full blast. I’ve been going to this theater since they opened. This is not the only time there has been a problem. I don’t think we”ll come back. It has really gone down hill. Makes me sad actually. Bye bye Brenden Theaters.
Joseph S — Google review
So don't bother coming here. They now have fluctuating prices and prices are all messed up. Food is blah and overpriced. Save you money and watch it at home when it comes to streaming. The greed of theaters and movie companies is going to finally kill the business.

Vacaville Ice Sports is a fantastic place for skaters of all ages and skill levels. Public skating sessions are a blast, with upbeat music, a great atmosphere, and plenty of space to glide. Plus, free skate rentals make it easy and affordable for everyone to join the fun. We especially love their birthday parties and all-day skate camps. The staff is friendly, professional, and great with kids. Highly recommended!

Went for a birthday party, everything went smoothly. Was decorated well, staff did a great job! Kids loved the ice skating! Although it started to get really rough on the ice, we left after a few hours, they should smooth the ice more often. But, overall a good experience!

We love Vacaville ice! Their coaches are the best! We have had a great experience with skate academy and private coaching for both kids and adults. They have a talented and friendly staff and I’m so grateful we found our coach, Kaitlyn, here.

Staff is friendly. Sharon at the front desk goes above and beyond to help you. My daughter’s coach Ginny is fantastic! Ginny is funny, caring and works hard. In the couple months she has coached my daughter, my daughter has shown much improvement! My only complaint is that sometimes the ice is too rough to skate, but this doesn’t happen too often.

Merchant & Main Grill & Bar is a charming spot in the neighborhood, offering a relaxed atmosphere and a patio for enjoying American classics and creative cocktails. The menu features an array of options including breakfast dishes like the Union Street Benedict and California Benedict, as well as indulgent treats such as brandy custard French toast. In addition to brunch items, the restaurant offers an eclectic selection of pastas, burgers, seafood, and appetizers like tater skins and char-grilled artichoke.
This place is such a great time. Me and some coworkers went to this place for brunch for someone’s birthday and had a wonderful time. The 27.99 Brunch special they have is the best freaking brunch I have ever had. It is any entree with all you can drink Champagne while you dine. They also bring out a little fruit tray with crackers and cheese as an appetizer. This is actually my 2nd time there and would definitely recommend to all my friends and family.
Jose A — Google review
Decent place with old vibes. My burger was ok, veggies were fresh, pickle was decent, French fries were amazing. My wife’s salmon was average, the asparagus was cooked well but lacked luster, potatoes that came with this entree were really good.
Jason P — Google review
Me and my class of 1983 crew visited Merchant and Main Mothers Day weekend. For some reason, this place does not take reservations, which I found ridiculous considering how busy it was every where. That being said, we waited a significantly long time to be seated which did not sit well with us. Our waiter was nice and made sure our glasses stayed full of champagne , however my steak and eggs was not what I expected. I will not be ordering that again....ever. Overall, my crew and I enjoyed celebrating Mothers Day weekend together and that's what mattered the most.

Great spot, great service, everything we ordered was spot on. Really enjoyed the fried zucchini appetizer special with the sweet Jalapeno dip. My spicy chicken sandwich was huge and extremely tasty! Everything was great!

My wife and I have been here several times over the years. The food is always great and the service top-notch. This time we ordered one of their take home 4 person family meals. It easily fed five people.

Great local spot. Was going through Vacaville on our way to Tahoe. Family who live in the area recommended this gem. We stopped by on the weekend and enjoyed the brunch menu. It is a set menu price with multiple items to choose from and includes mimosas. They start every table with fruit and coffee cake. We had the salmon, the california eggs benedict and the 49’er fried chicken biscuit stack. Recommend asking for extra gravy. Service is great and seating both inside and outside.

The GEM of Vacaville. Merchant and Main is a Vacaville institution. Been going to M&M for decades. Bottomless champagne, Sunday brunch, and football is a ritual. I am biased, tho. I love this place, the people and its food. Great people. Had my birthday's, wedding reception, and my anniversaries here! Try the Hangtown fry if it's available. It's my favorite.

BackDoor Bistro and Wine Bar is a charming rustic-chic restaurant that offers creative, seasonal twists on American and European classics. Originally starting as a small pop-up restaurant, it quickly gained popularity for its holistic gourmet cuisine. After finding local favor, the bistro eventually secured its own space and has been thriving ever since. The owner, Lindsey, brings her culinary expertise from Napa Valley Cooking School and experience at a Michelin Star restaurant to curate an eclectic menu of global cuisine.
I was surprised how tasty the food offered by this restaurant is. The food is American style in general, but fusion with European and Mexican components. I strongly recommend it if you come to this area.

Good fresh seasonal food. A bit expensive for area and what comes to your table. Good craft cocktails from a non partake person. I was actually impressed. Need another not so rushed, non high weekend to really see the vibe/culinary experience. Enjoyed my time.

First time at this location for Backdoor Bistro. The setting is very nice. Food was delish. Service was excellent I made reservation for 2 for Saturday lunch and was pleased with table they saved for us though, they were quite busy. I told them it was my friend's birthday in the reservation and they came through with a nice complimentary dessert and candle. The restaurant is a little pricey, but for a special occasion, it was worth it.
Celeste G — Google review
Fresh food and upscale dining experience! The dining area is quaint and adds to the ambiance. The food is priced accordingly to the quality of ingredients and I would say the drinks were maybe a bit on the higher priced end. It was around $300 for 2 people but we did order a few drinks, an app and both had the special which was $64 each. The pork belly as an app was amazing and very rich and light at the same time which is very hard to come by! The the 14 oz ribeye was just as good and also very flavorful and fresh. The chutney on top was also one of a kind and everything from the salad and duck fat fried potatoes paired perfectly. The servers were also very attentive and present which added to the great experience. I would recommend this place over Makse down the street for better quality food and a “lighter” meal. Perfect for a date night and can’t wait to go again!
Ryan — Google review
The food for me was delicious. I had the shrimp and grits. The mixture of flavors was delightful, the tomatoes playing against the slight heat of the spices. The feta is a great touch. The shrimp was fantastic, soft, flavorful, and very fresh. It is a little noisy as it is a small dining area and the walls are bare. My wife didn't like the lamb saying it was too raw and didn't taste enough like lamb. I liked it.
Matti S — Google review
Place opens at 11:00am. I was there when the doors opened on a Saturday. It was a cute rustic / valentine's day vibe. With the rain and dreary weather people didn't start coming in till noon. Food was excellent, wait staff was on top of it. Food wait wasn't bad either although again there weren't many people in there Below you can find pictures of the Cinnamon Apple Fritters, Eggs Benedict and the Biscuit and Grave with eggs & bacon dishes. All three with 2 lattes totaled $68.

Tried brunch for the first time. Everything was great. By 1145am they had sold out of Chicken Fried Steak & flour tortillas for burritos. We got - Breakfast Sandwich on cheddar jalepeno bagel. Soft bagel, would order again (and again🤣). Veggie omelet, soft center with house potatoes. House potatoes were delicious. Bear claw was large tasty. Cinnamon roll 👍🏽👍🏽 I enjoyed the baked goods being soft and not dry at all. It happens sometimes. We will include Pure Grain in our brunch rotation list. Thank you!

My sister and I love coming here. Recently they came out with a banana latte and strawberry chai which are my new favorites. They make yummy baked goods, we love the brownie and fruit croissants. Don’t skip on their sandwiches! Our personal favorites are the Hot Philly and California Club. Perfect place to come to catch up or read a book.
Britney J — Google review
We picked up this location for our Saturday lunch on our way to the ocean. At around 10-ish in the morning, it was pretty busy and quite loud. The prices are not so high at all and bakery is really great. It’s around $15 for a sandwich and we got them. It was even too big for us so we had only half of the sandwich. Nice place with small town vibe

I enjoy both Pure Grain locations. The food is always good. I stopped in for a pastry at the one on Vacavalley Pkwy. The service was pleasant, however, I had seen the person helping me spray and wiping the counter. Without gloves or washing their hands, they proceeded to serve me and opened a bag for my item by putting their entire hand into the bag and wiggling it open. Twice. I’m very disappointed. Who wants a pastry from a bag someone’s stuck their dirty hands in? I don’t believe I’ll be going to that location again. I regret not saying anything in the moment, I was a bit shocked.

We went in on a Thursday at 6 pm while listening to the music in the plaza. We asked for a Rueben and a Club. They said the bread would not be toasted because they turned off the thing to roast the bread. When asked if they could turn it back on they said it would take a long time to heat up. So I asked when they were closing they said 8. As a person whose worked in the service industry I wouldn't have turned off the toaster especially on a night that would be busy. It made myself and friends that went in to order like they were shutting stuff down so they could leave asap. Which in reality is not appropriate especially on a busy night. We had about 5 people behind us waiting to order. We ended up not ordering as much food as we would have. We have came in for desserts the last few weeks and thought we would do the food tonight. I'm not sure we will be back.

I have worked across the street from Pure Grain Bakery for many years and have enjoyed their sandwiches and pastries! Today I treated myself to a sandwich I love the chicken salad with all the fixings. There is always plenty of space to sit. They updated their lights to change color with the music I thought that was cute. The service is always friendly. Loved my sandwich and the bread 😍

Cafe
Located on Merchant Street in Vacaville, Heritage House Café offers a cozy and comfortable atmosphere with a few tables, making it popular especially on weekend mornings. The café is known for its generous portions and delicious coffee. The menu features simple yet varied breakfast dishes, including English favorites like beans on toast. While the hash browns can be a bit greasy, the French toast and waffles are cooked to perfection.
I am new to the area and decided to try this restaurant. Atmosphere was pleasant, food was great, had French toast with my omelet. There was only a 2 dollar charge for the upgrade which I felt was very reasonable in today's environment. I was seated as soon as I walked in, a large HOT coffee was served quickly, food came very fast, and was hot and freshly made. Maria was very friendly and accurate with my order. I do recommend this restaurant.

We found this Cafe on Google maps and I had never heard of it. It had 5 stars and we wanted Breakfast. We only had to wait 2-3 minutes before we were seated and the service was great. Mary was exceptional and friendly. Ordered the Waffle, eggs, Rosemary potatoes and bacon along with a side of grits. 2nd order was Dollar pancakes, eggs and bacon and Rosemary potatoes. Food came out quick, was cooked perfectly and was delicious! I highly recommend the Cafe for Breakfast. And it wasn't super busy we got there at around 11am.

Went on a Saturday morning and had about a 20 min wait. Cozy vibe with lots of historic decor. California omelet was solid. Hash browns were not crispy enough for my liking, and sourdough was not sour enough. French toast was amazing and would recommend! Service was great. They were friendly, quick, and they kept our coffee full. Prices were average. Parking was tricky near the restaurant, but there are free lots nearby that are a short walk away. Would come back just for the French toast!

The food was amazing, my egg white California omelette was on point and was not falling apart as it often happens when you remove the yolk. I did not need any salt which is unusual for me, just showing that their seasoning approach was on point. The atmosphere was busy and loud, servers were all super friendly and on top even though the restaurant was busy.

Sushi restaurant
Casual Japanese outpost offering sushi, bento boxes, teriyaki & noodle soups in a simple setting.
Been going here for 10+ years and the owner recognizes us every single time. I love that! I may try other sushi restaurants to compare to umi but I always come back to umi. The quantity and quality and price is top tier in my opinion. I’ve never been sick or disappointed from this place so I’ll always recommend until the day I croak

So pleasantly surprised!! Prices are FANTASTIC, service is even better. They seem really interested in making your visit great. Great sushi recommendations and they were happy to make my ramen vegetarian and spicy! If you want great, fresh food prices really well, this is the place. Hope to visit again soon.

The food was amazing. I had the king crunch roll and the boom roll and they both were delicious me and my girl had an amazing time
Guillermo V — Google review
One our go-to spots for sushi in our area. Service is usually very fast. Server's are always friendly also. The sushi is fresh and tastes great. Anytime we go to the movies, which is next door, we usually stop here for dinner or lunch first. Layout for seating is pretty wide open. Booth, table and counter seating is available. Tonight we ordered the Super Philly Roll, Jungle Roll and Cherry Blossom Roll. As usual, it did not disappoint.
Tom S — Google review
I believe that the people here try their best, but the food comes off very bland and unpleasant in addition to all the unnecessary, poorly chosen ingredients they’ve added to the dish. For example, a rice dish that I ordered could have been without egg — it’s fine, I’ll overlook that. But rather than omitting an egg, they’ve done something worse which is committing omelette suicide and scrambling ingredients into the egg, putting it on top of rice and topping with sweet sauce. This ramen I got, it’s the $2 packages that you get from the supermarket, plus some weirdly included zucchini, carrots, but worst of all: egg foam? If you must, get the sushi, but I wouldn’t trust the raw fish here, so you can get California rolls or any of the simple rolls. And don’t get any of the other rice or noodle plates if you’re planning to eat something wholesome or well put together. The rice/noodle dishes really come off as “I wonder what else I could put in this dish” mentality. Simplicity is key and definitely a lost art in this menu. I’m grateful for this place because it’s “cooked” food amongst fast food stores in the city. But I don’t think I’ll trust getting food from here anymore because I’ve gone twice, ordered 3 separate things of sushi, rice plate, and noodles and have not enjoyed any of their menu items.
Rebecca Z — Google review
Average sushi. No avocado on the california roll. Cooks could use some practice making sushi. Salmon fresh but cut small portion to other sushi places. I would recommend finding other sushi place. Octopus is hard and spongy. I would consider elsewhere. First time here and never comig back.

My husband loved their Sushi. I had a bento box with beef teriyaki and tempura mix. It was really good. They were pretty busy. The only downside was the restaurant was hot and stuffy.

Los Reyes Restaurante Y Cantina is a vibrant Mexican cantina located in Vacaville's historic downtown area. The restaurant offers a diverse menu of traditional Mexican dishes with a modern twist, all made with high-quality, locally-sourced ingredients. From tacos and tamales to burritos and chimichangas, there's something for everyone. The restaurant also caters to various dietary preferences with dedicated menus for kids, vegans, vegetarians, and other special diets.
Driving home from a weekend getaway and decided to check out downtown Vacaville! Wanted to get a quick bite somewhere new and different and this is where we found our new favorite Mexican restaurant! We decided that we would drive out of our way to eat here again! Our waitress was super friendly and helped make our experience here really great! The salsas are very tasty, I especially liked the chunky one! I ordered the chorizo hash, which came with a bed of country potatoes and cheese galore! The chorizo was excellent!!! My husband ordered the enchiladas Montadas with scrambled eggs and hashbrowns! The food was super good and we look forward to visiting again.

Easy parking right in downtown. Atmosphere was decorative, clean, with good table spacing. Service was fast and attentive. Great menu selection with delicious food. Half plate of nachos is more than enough for one person.

It was my 1st time in Vacaville, my niece lives there and took us here. The salsas are amazing, surprised you offer so many. I had the shrimp & crab enchiladas, they were pretty good, could've used a little more flavor & a little more shrimp & crab, even if you charged more. I had some eggs on top. I tasted my son's chorizo hash, it was delicious. I would have that next time. I wanted to have the caldo de pollo, but went with something different. Their papas are good. De pozole looked really good. Liked that the meat was shredded. If I'm ever in town again, I will go there again. My horchata latte--YUMM!! The waitress was excellent, very friendly and checked on us constantly. Loved that they were able to accommodate a large party of 15 together. We were celebrating my niece's retirement, so needed both families to sit together. Thank you
Isabel S — Google review
The food was good. They forgot to make the burrito 'wet' after recommending at the time of ordering and when asking the waitress, she seemed like we didn't order it that and did bring it back as it was ordered. She was nice, but we felt rushed to get in and out on our date since we had just started the appetizer when the main course arrived. We ordered 2 margaritas, which didn’t seem like they had any alcohol in them. I don't usually drink alcohol and I didn't feel anything from these drinks at all. We would eat here again, but maybe they were rushing people in and out? I'd recommend more of a lunch stop for quick service than a date night.

We had a Birthday party tonight at Los Reyes for our 19 yr old twins and the service we received from Paige was nothing less than excellent! We were a party with 7 children under 8, and 9 adults. We were lively and pretty loud but Paige was cool, calm and collected. She got every single order right, including multiple drinks and extras. Thank you so much to all at Los Reyes who helped made this a great family celebration

My burrito was tasty but everything else we had was mediocre. The fajitas we ordered came out smelling and looking delicious but was under seasoned and had a very small amount of meat with it. My cucumber mojito was delicious and my family really enjoyed the cocktails they ordered. Staff were very informative, helpful and pleasant.

oct. 16, 2025. after living in 707 for years. i came across to try this joint. nice lil joint and food was good. ordered the quesabirria. the typical tacos i knew were going to be good so i ordered the quesa. it had so much flavor and the savory taste got me finishing the dish. ordered beer and drinks too. inside was compact but for sure enough room for big parties. overall i think i was okey

Went on a Saturday night around 5pm, it was pretty busy so we had to sit on the patio outside. The drinks we ordered were alright but, didn't seem to have alcohol in them. It took a bit longer for the waitress to come back to get our order. When the food came out it was good, with the different flavors and spices standing out. After eating the food outside, we began to get a bit hotter. The chips and salsa wasn't really my favorite, being real watery. Overall, the food was good and the service was ok.

Alamo Creek Park is a lovely and spacious park located in an older part of the city. The mature trees provide ample shade, making it perfect for leisurely walks or picnics. The park features a winding trail through lush greenery, well-maintained garden areas, numerous benches, and picnic tables. Additionally, visitors can enjoy small-scale sports at the basketball court and tennis courts. For families, there are two playgrounds catering to different age groups.
This is one of the Vacaville is oldest parks it's a beautiful park to bring your family to because it has so many different things to do and so much area and space. Plenty of space to have a soccer game kickball baseball flag football game, just play catch with your friends and family. It also has two tennis courts and a semi half court basketball section and as well as two playgrounds for kids, one for younger kids and one for older kids. walking trail around on the outside two and a half laps is a mile. Nice Park. Nice and big people come here you can have a picnic with your family as there's picnic benches and there's plenty of space and shade. All inside of the part. Definitely, definitely a great part. You guys have a good day

Great park area and preserve. Hiking trails everywhere and you can bring a dog and picnic supplies to have an awesome afternoon in nature, solitude (if your choose) and virtually free of charge. (Parking may be an issue). Not to be missed local feature.

Great park in an older part of the city. The trees atr established and older growth which means they're great for shade. This park is nice sized. A trail winds through the many trees and the garden area. Lots of benches and picnic tables. The area is pretty well maintained. The basketball court is a small half court...good for smaller games but cracked and anoittle worn. Tennis courts sit in the middle of the park. There are two play structures, one for older and one for smaller kids. Well maintained and shaded. These are definitely a pair of the better pieces in the city. Overall, one of the best parks in the city...both for families with smaller kids and for folks wanting a walk.

Very nice park, walking trails in the park so you can walk around the large park, has a playground for the kids or grandkids, benches and places to sit, all in all beautiful park. Has trees, grassy spots, flowers, all the eye could want to see and enjoy, but, there are any bathrooms. Great little spot to walk and play at, just be aware that restrooms aren't around.

What a great park. Clean and well kept. A large park you can walk around for exercise or relaxing. Lots of trees provide great shade for any activities. Picnic tables and tennis courts.

Great park for all ages properly supervised for safety. Lots of huge valley oak trees, benches, walking trails, tennis courts, BB half court, playgrounds for toddlers to 12up. Great shade from trees, really nice lawns. NO BATHROOMS which would be so convenient. I know they'd be trashed without daily attendants. LOST: If anyone found unique walking cane last February/March please contact me. Thanks! See pics

Andrews Park is a lush 18-acre park located in Downtown Vacaville, offering a range of activities for visitors. The park features ambling trails, shaded picnic areas, and a children's playground, making it an ideal destination for families and pet owners. Throughout the year, Andrews Park hosts various events such as live music concerts and festivals that are either free or budget-friendly to attend.
This playground was such a fun experience—we absolutely loved it with our young kids! There were so many ways to explore, including tunnels, slides, climbing ropes, swings, and even a tube slide. It kept everyone entertained and active the whole time. Just a heads-up: the playground’s actual name is Great Wonders, not Andrews Park as shown on Google.

Vacaville favorite for family, friends, food and fun. The playground is fenced in with activity options for kids of all ages. The large grass area makes it a perfect picnic spot or relaxing with a good book. I would recommend this park for its excellent atmosphere.
Kitty K — Google review
Beautiful park. Kids love the playground, riding on the dragon back and running around the castle. The downside is dirty restroom, smoke/marijuana smell in the air and the homeless wandering around. Playground itself is great. Still a good place for kids to play around although parents should pay extra attention when using restroom and picnic area.

Came out in August 9, 2025 to see the legendary ConFunkShun—and let me tell you, they were pure fire. Funk royalty. No notes. Now, the organizers? Whole different story. We were stuck outside the park for over an hour in 103-degree heat. One hundred and three. That’s not weather, that’s a slow roast. I didn’t know I signed up for a pre-show sauna session with a side of dehydration. No shade, no explanation, just a long line of sweaty, confused fans wondering if the gates were ever going to open or if this was some kind of endurance test. By the time we got in, I was halfway melted and seriously questioning my life choices. Great music, but next time maybe let the band run the logistics too—they clearly know how to keep things tight.
Angela ( — Google review
I liked this park because the park area was enclosed and my kid couldn't get out unless she jumped the fence. Chairs are stationed around the play area and on the outside of the play area so you can watch your child effectively!!! I like that because you can't take your eye off of your child. I saw people there without kids walking around, but they were minding their business. I like this park!!
Rachel C — Google review
Lots of homeless, lots of useless cameras, kids smoking & drinking in the tuck spots. Besides all that nonsense its a nice big park
T F — Google review
It used to be a nice place. Lately, there are a lot of young homeless people doing their dirty busminess in the restrooms. Just yesterday, my kids and I went to the women's restroom. They were blocking the entrance with all their trash, and inside was a woman with several men. I've seen it on several occasions, and it looks pretty bad for such a busy and beautiful place.

Savers is a thrift store chain that offers a wide range of secondhand items including clothing, footwear, furniture, books, and household goods. The store provides stylish and affordable clothing options with a dressing room for trying on purchases. It's recommended for fashion enthusiasts and content creators visiting Vacaville. The store boasts large aisles for easy accessibility and a huge selection of items including higher-end and vintage pieces in their own special area.
This thrift store is my queen of queens. Big big big store --- large aisles make it easy for walker or wheelchair. Huge selection of clothes, shoes, household goods. Good selection of books and furniture and jewelry and toys and craft items. Higher end and vintage have their own special area. Parking is very manageable with very large parking lot. It's just off the freeway amidst all the other Vacaville Nut Tree shops and restaurants, outlets, etc. Friendly and helpful staff.
Cynthia E — Google review
I used to come to this Savers all the time, and I have been doing so for over a decade. Because of that, I can say definitely: they have more than doubled their prices within that time. This has not coincided with inflation, an increase in quality of service, or any reasonable thing. Instead, the service has gotten worse over time. I have found literal garbage for sale multiple times. I can often find items with lower original price tags than the Savers “thrift” tags. All of that said, I was willing to ignore it because it’s the only thrift store in town now. However, a few days ago, a friend of mine got a dresser from this location. The employees pulled it aside, gave her a receipt, and we left to come back the next morning with a vehicle. In the intervening time, the employees placed the item back on the sales floor AND DOUBLED THE PRICE. They thought that because we had expressed interest they could get away with charging double for the item. Luckily my friend still had the receipt but even still the staff member who helped us was reluctant to give us the original price. I have never had a more appalling experience at a thrift store.
Shooshy — Google review
Great Store, Super Employee friendly and helpful. They're, Definitely not afraid of the price hiking. Getting tired of EVERYONE socking it to the consumer.
Laurie J — Google review
Clean and well stocked, but pricing on the high side overall. Still, with so much inventory, bargains are to be found. You have to be willing to take a little time to find them.
Margie W — Google review
Good thrift store with a great selection of items. The pricing on identical items is often inconsistent however, and some items are priced almost as high as if the item were new. That said, there are still deals to be found.
Abby D — Google review
This store has the craziest prices i’ve ever seen. The clothes aren’t worth as much as they’re charging, they get everything for free. The manager is very rude and they have 0 customer Service. 👎👎👎

Performing arts theater
City government office
The Vacaville Performing Arts Theatre is a vibrant cultural hub that hosts a diverse range of performances, including plays, concerts, and comedy shows. The theatre has welcomed renowned artists such as Joe Nichols, Clint Black, Gin Blossoms, Blues Traveler, and the Oak Ridge Boys. Visitors have enjoyed various events throughout the year, from Christmas orchestras to ballets and musicals. The venue offers excellent views of the stage from every seat in the house.
I was able to attend three beautiful performances this year in this theatre. It was a Christmas Orchestra, ballet and a musical. I like how they have a show almost every season for many different ages. It is well maintained and clean for a small theatre. I will be coming to more shows this season. But my tip is to buy tickets at the box office, I noticed there is a weird fees if you order online and if you leave in town might at well go and get it in person. The lady at the box office is very nice.

Enjoyable Christmas concert, great seats -- although it appears that any seat in the theater has a good view of the stage. Thankfully we wore jackets as the theater was a bit chilly. Handicap parking is sparse and a good distance from the theater.

On July 21, 2018 my family and I attempted to support Starbound Productions stage play The Wizard of Oz. The location had welcomed us on many occasions due to the young thespians in our family. Yesterday was the first time we were meet with such rudeness and disrespect. The house manager rudely and aggressively approached us at the door saying "the play started at 2pm " we pointed out that the flyer and sign outside stated otherwise. The play started at 3pm. At this time we quickly realized it was not about the play...she had a problem with 5 unapologetically Black people trying to support community theatre. So we have collectively decided to spend our dollars supporting community theatre where all people are welcome. Slowly turning into a Sundown town
Harriet T — Google review
We visit this community facility several times a year. It is easy to get there and there is plenty of parking. It is part of a group of buildings including a county library. The community center is set back from the parking area and is an easy, short walk on concrete to the entrance. Every time we have been there we were met by pleasant, efficient staff. They do a great job getting people in and out of the building while ushers are stationed at the doors to the seating areas. There is space for handicapped chairs or scooters. There are no stairs. The seating is reasonably comfortable with adequate knee room . Snacks and beverages are sold in the lobby but are not allowed in the seating area. There is a good sized stage with modern audio visual technology available. Overall it is a nice, clean theater. I am sure you will enjoy your experience there as much as we do.
John M — Google review
I have never been to this theater. It was very nice. People were friendly and we'll maintained. If another show is worth seeing, I will come back.
Janet R — Google review
My daughters graduation was held here. Didnt care for the staff much. They rushed people out of the building after the event so when people were done taking pictures and needed to use the restroom they had to keep opening the door and were giving unwelcoming looks. Other than that, it was fine. It was easy to find and there is ample parking. The theatre was pretty clean and well kept.

Fuso | Fusion Italian Restaurant is a modern and relaxed dining spot that offers classic Italian dishes, cocktails, and often features live music on its patio. Located in downtown Vacaville, it aims to create a welcoming environment where people can enjoy unique Italian cuisine.
Beautiful ambiance with the touch of Italy 🇮🇹 the moment you enter you will like the atmosphere for sure. The food was also good. You can see the chef 👨‍🍳 while they are cooking and they are making fresh food. The smell in the restaurant makes you more hungry 😋. We like everything and food was really delicious 😋 service was good, you can see happy faces all around. While we were there, we heard 3 birthday songs and all 3 were 40+ so you can understand it's a family loving restaurant too.

Just ran in for their desserts and after dinner drinks! Was not disappointed with the tiramisu or the cheesecake. Will need to return again for a more elaborate meal as the plates going by both looked wonderful and smelled terrific. Place had a neat vibe and great location.

I had the portobello mushroom ravioli with meat that was spectacular! It came with bread and an eggplant olive oil which sounds and looks gross but is sooo yummy! The portion was HUGE for the price. It was served with a beautiful Cab suggested by Lacy my bartender/server. Her hospitality and gracious demeanor made me feel special like a queen but also like I was home. Can't wait to go back as I was there visiting for business.

I love this place. I only gave it a 4 for food because I have been many times back East eating linguine and clams and seafood pasta. The vibe is super chill. The wait stuff is amazing. I look forward to coming back here, and can't get back soon enough! If you don't have any alcohol you can easily get away eating here four $20 to $30 bucks if going basic. But since we like a cocktails, I had to go higher when I picked the average price per person.

My family and I are visiting from Maui and wanted authentic Italian. After looking at a multiple places we decided on FUSO and it did not disappoint. This place is a 10/10!! Shoutout to our server Leyla, she was excellent and provided the best service throughout our dining experience. The food was delicious all around from apps to entrees (i recommend the salmon garlic pasta!) Will definitely come back.

I have gone to the Fuso‘s bar many times which I really enjoyed the bartenders are always great the drinks are always very good. Sometimes I stay and eat appetizers and sometimes I take food home. Tonight I took home chicken Parmesan and I was very disappointed clearly it had been in a pan of some sort for quite some time because I got this crusty cheesy edge which if it was a pizza I’d be happy, but it wasn’t pizza it was chicken Parmesan anyhow I love the veg not overcooked pasta was good but the chicken Parm itself completely disappointing

I've never been there and I booked my wife's birthday lunch with the family here (about 12 of us) so I was taking a pretty big risk lol. Luckily it payed off as it's a cute restaurant with a nice menu and pretty good food! One side of the restaurant is styled like a little villa while the other side is a little different. Think styled in the late 90's but been updated through the years. The main reason we went is for the food though. We ordered a bunch of different plates and apps and everyone left full and happy! I ordered the Carbonara and it didn't disappoint. The saude was a little soupy but that's not the biggest deal for me. One of my family members ordered one of the specials which was a cream sauce with steak and mushrooms and when that came I knew I messed up. I instantly got food envy haha. We all ordered several plates of calamari, Lumpia (which was a nice touch) and their bread. Everything was delicious! They had a few large parties there that day and you can tell the staff was earning their pay. They hustled and were excellent at providing great customer service. My hats off to them because it seemed like someone called in that day. It was a great experience, I would highly recommend!

They allow you to bring outside food and the staff is more than accomidating. They also have game room, and we buy game cards for the kids. We all have fun and so do our guests! We couldn't order from our normal place so we tried here. We had a lot of different dietary needs (vegan + someone who doesn't eat pig) so we ordered two pizzas. The no cheese pizza we got was basically favored bread as shown in the pictures. It wasn't good and was a waste of money. The other pizza had pork on the whole thing when we asked for it on one side. Not planning on coming back here again.
Morgan M — Google review
Delivery service took longer than expected. The site stated 45 mins. It was more like 60-70 mins. However the food arrived hot. We love the wings and felt like they had a good amount of sauce on them. The buffalo sauce was a little spicy, too, which we love. The twists were okay. Felt like they could have been cooked a little longer.

Walked in and the two waitresses looked at me, then continued their convo. I waited a few minutes before deciding to go elsewhere. I don't know their names, but this was Tuesday October 21st at 8:03 pm. The one and only chance I ever gave this place.

I was really disappointed with my experience at this location. As soon as I walked in, I noticed at least nine dirty tables still covered with dishes and leftover food from previous customers. It immediately gave the impression that cleanliness is not a priority here, which is off-putting and honestly unacceptable. The man working the front counter did not appear to have good hygiene — his fingers were greasy and visibly dirty as he handled the mouse, pen, and register. It was concerning to think he might be going back to prepare food without washing his hands. Looking under the doors to the kitchen, I saw food scattered all over the floor. The entire establishment was just disgusting and felt completely unclean and poorly maintained. I voiced my concerns to the employee at the register, pointing out how unkept the place looked and how the piles of dirty dishes would make customers view it as unsanitary. He was not apologetic at all — he simply said “ok” and went back to what he was doing. Another couple overheard the conversation and agreed with me, saying the place was unacceptable and good for me for speaking up. While I was there, a family of four came in, looked around, and left — and honestly, I should’ve done the same. This experience left me feeling uneasy, and I won’t be coming back.

We had a deal for a family meal which was great. The pepperoni pizza was delicious and twist were amazing. You do have to purchase bottle water since the soda machine isn't available. The gave us paper plates, plastic silverware for dining. But you are able to purchase bottled drinks and they have the bar open. They have amazing Tvs so you can watch sports. The reason for the 3 stars is the salad was spoiled. Was extremely disappointed that the majority of the salad had gone bad. I wouldn't visit this location again though.

Mexican restaurant
Vasquez Delicatessen is a long-standing family-run Mexican deli in Vacaville, serving up authentic street tacos and flavorful burritos with pita-like tortillas and hot sauce. The restaurant has been a part of the Vacaville dining scene since 1976 and is known for its community involvement, participating in the Vacaville Fiesta Days every year.
Been many, many years since I've eaten here. Sad the place relocated and left the old location because that one held many memories. Regardless, food and service still just as amazing.
Amy — Google review
I just had the worst burrito ever. It was so runny it was like soup in a tortilla. I’m so sad. I was looking forward to a Vasquez burrito and my dreams were crushed. It had three pieces of lettuce floating in the meat and bean soup.
Lisa C — Google review
On a business trip. Asked the counter what I should have if this is the only time I eat here-Ground Beef Burrito. It was good. Love that they serve flour chips, yet they were not warm. Enjoyed the setting and outdoor seating. Lots of takeout and dine in customers while I was there.
Jason W — Google review
Great location super nice family run restaurant the crunchy tacos are my favorite, burritos are a little different the tortilla is really thick pita bread type so so I think you either love them or hate them, but always go for the tacos and the nachos can't go wrong.

I love Vasquez Deli. I usually order the Pork burrito with hot sauce. It's very flavorful. The service is always excellent and quick. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Perfect for a lunch break. Prices are fair and the place is clean. Has a place for business cards as well.

I'm new to Vacaville and I have to say I'm excited that I was introduced to this restaurant. Their food is amazing! As well as the staff!!! Everything I've had has been great no complaints. I go at least once a week!

Nice place with friendly staff. Husband ordered steak and bean burrito and I had the taco salad. Husband says the burrito tasted great but it wasn't as large as he expected. The taco salad was soggy and mediocre at best. Couldn't finish it. The walls of the deli were covered with interesting pictures and trivia. Bathrooms were very clean and they have free Wi-Fi.

I had enchilada with carne asada, I have a picture of a piece of meat, that's how big it is inside the enchilada big chunks of meat (considered when most places you get little cubes). The food tastes so good I went back for a tamale which is also generous in size and feelings.

Hamburger restaurant
Restaurant
Nestled in the heart of Vacaville, Burger City has been a beloved destination for burger enthusiasts for over two decades. This diner-style restaurant and bar boasts an industrial vibe that perfectly complements its creative menu offerings. Whether you're craving a hearty breakfast on the weekend or a mouthwatering burger any day of the week, this spot has you covered. During my recent adventure with friends, we stumbled upon Burger City while searching for a local eatery to satisfy our hunger.
With the bestie on a recent day trip and we both were hungry so I was tasked with finding a local spot along the way back home, I luckily found Burger City! Easy to get to, amazing service and great food. My buddy got the western bacon burger with waffle cut fries and I got a Philly cheese steak with coleslaw. Very good. Fully of flavor. My buddy ate all his food, I had to take half of my Philly home. It was still good the next day too. I definitely will stop by again if I’m in the area!
Becky S — Google review
The reviews are true excellent service really good food burgers have homemade taste to them. Potato skins are delicious. French dip was very good. The meat had a lot of seasoning. Overall excellent spot the restaurant was packed.

This place has the best burgers and amazing salads!! Customer service is always top notch and there is always just a laid back vibe, if you want there is a bar right next door you can access from the restaurant. Target and other shopping centers are very close by as well.
Kadee R — Google review
My family and I came into Burger City for dinner on a Thursday evening. The restaurant was decently busy between dine-in, take-out and food deliveries. There were open seats, so we were seated right away. Service (3/5 stars) Our waiter was pretty busy and seemed preoccupied. He took the order at the table next to us first even though we were seat first. He did take our order right afterwards which was not a big deal. We wanted to order the Valentine’s Day Specials (advertised as “All Month Long”), but was not available until Valentine’s Day, so that was disappointing. It was about average time to get our food. We did place a take-out burger to bring to our other son who was home, but when the check came we noticed the waiter had forgot to place the order, so we had to wait an additional 15-20 minutes to get it. We also had to ask him for a take-out box for leftovers twice and neither time did he bring it. My wife had to go up to the counter to get a box. Food - Crab and Avocado Sandwich with Potato Salad (4/5 stars): decent amount of crab for the size of the sandwich and seasoning was a little bland for me, but was ok. The potato salad was really tasty. - Fish and Chips with Coleslaw & Broccoli Cheddar Soup (3.5/5): my son said the fish could have had more seasoning and was bland. The fries were not that good. The coleslaw was very good though. The broccoli cheddar soup was good, but better at Panera. - Swiss Mushroom Burger with Potato Salad (4/5): my wife said the burger was just ok and nothing special. The potato salad was good. - Famous Cheeseburger with Coleslaw (4/5): we got this takeout for my son and he said it was really good and preferred it over In-n-Out. He really liked the coleslaw. Overall, I would rate this visit at 3.8/5 stars. I have had better service in the past and other food items I have had in the past were better. Burger City is a popular spot for locals and is a decent restaurant to eat at overall.

This is a small place off of Elmira, but the food is worth a visit. Our waitress Lily was a bundle of joy! She suggested some popular choices, brought our drinks quickly, and checked on us frequently through our lunch. She also brought us our potato skins very quickly, cheese melted and piping hot. My husband had a bison burger which was juicy and delicious (or so my husband said in between HUGE bites of said burger) and my version of a Western bacon cheeseburger was better than I could've imagined: plenty of BBQ sauce, great burger char, and the steak fries for both burgers were not too salty. Just make sure you leave in the toothpicks and cut the burger in half before eating; the burgers are THAT BIG. To use an old ad slogan: if these don't get all over the place, they sure don't belong in your face...and they do. Depending on the time of day, you can get breakfast or lunch. This place is worth trying either option, you won't be disappointed.
Jennifer M — Google review
We ordered the food to go. I got the Veggie burger and it was good, but it looked like the patty was smashed thin. Could have used more meat, like the regular burgers. The service was quick and the atmosphere was busy. I will definitely go back. Also, I substituted the bun the patty came on with sourdough. The Onion rings were good too.
Sidney L — Google review
It's a decent place to get burgers. Parking is a bit tight though. Service was quick and friendly. The burgers were well cooked. The amount of fries you get is underwhelming which isn't a horrible lose as it tastes like they seasoned them by describing salt to a potato. Luckily they have salt on the table.
Nate S — Google review
The food tasted great, I placed an online order and they had everything ready so fast. The Cajun fries tasted delicious. I love how they place the pickles onions and lettuce on the side. That's amazing attention to detail

The Brass Tap is a lively pub with a vibrant atmosphere and an outdoor patio, offering an extensive selection of beers, wines, and live music. Customers have praised the attentive service and reasonable prices during happy hour. The establishment offers a diverse menu with options like burgers, brisket grilled cheese, and tasty sides like Brussels sprouts and beer batter fries.
First time eating here and it won’t be the last! Our party of four got seated in under 10 minutes on a Friday night (already a win!). The service was spot-on and the whole place has such an upbeat, fun vibe that you can’t help but smile. Now let’s talk food—WOW. I ordered the hot honey pepperoni pizza and let me tell you, as a self-proclaimed pizza connoisseur, this pie ranks among the best I’ve ever had. The crust was light and airy, the cheese melted like a dream, and that sweet-spicy honey kick? Perfection. The brussels sprouts were so good we were fighting over the last bite, and the nachos? Absolutely loaded and delicious. Bottom line: amazing food, stellar service, and a lively atmosphere. Already planning my next visit!

First time at this place and more than likely my last, went for lunch at around 130pm, place was packed which is a good thing for business but kinda not for customer, got a order of onion rings for an appetizer and took close to 45 mins. To get it, after almost an hour and a half we finally got our food, I was already out of time so I took it to go, I ordered the brisket tacos.... what a dissapointment.... meat was dry, not the most appetizing meal for $17 .. no bueno.

Cool spot to grab a drink and a bite. Food is good. It’s not going to blow you away but everytime I’ve been it’s been good. Wings are always cooked and seasoned perfectly. Fries are great, burgers are good and they have a a ton of beer. Fish tacos were actually really good. It’s not Mexico so don’t get in your feelings. But they were good and good size. All in all something for everyone.

I come to Vacaville occasionally for work. Got tired of eating at the same ole places and found this down the street from the hotel. I am so glad I gave it a shot. Small bar with lots of TV’s for watching sports. Staff are super friendly. Food is legit. First time here I had poblano chicken sandwich and a pretzel. Fire!!! The pretzel was a little small but it was delicious. Served with spicy mustard and queso. Second time here I had the taco Tuesday special. 2 poblano chicken tacos and a steak taco. Amazing. Wish this place was closer to home

Second time here and I can now officially write a review. If you want consistency and great service, this is the spot. I’ve sampled most foods here and it does not disappoint. Extensive beer selection as well as hard liquor. Fun ambiance. I really enjoyed it here. Will return many, many more times. If you’re in the Rocklin area, there’s one there too.

This place is tucked away! Great customer service! I love a place that's attentive to their customers. You're not designated a waiter/waitress, so I'm hoping they all split tips. This was my first time here. I initially went for the brunch but arrived 15 minutes too late. Apparently, brunch is two hours from 10-12, but I couldn't find ANYTHING on the website or brunch menu to indicate a time; the brunch flyer makes you assume it's all day 🤷🏾‍♀️, so lunch it was! I ordered dry rub wings, coleslaw, pretzel bites, and nachos. ... EV-VER-REE-THING was good! My ordered the watermelon margarita and added strawberry 🍓 *chef kiss* I highly recommend! I'll be there Saturday for brunch 🤣🤣

Rock shop
The Rock Shop is the largest rock and mineral shop on the west coast, offering an extensive collection of rocks, gemstones, fossils, and minerals. Whether you're a general customer or a collector, there's something for everyone here. From standard polished pieces to fine mineral specimens, the shop boasts high-quality items at reasonable prices. Additionally, they offer raw materials for lapidary use and frequently have monthly sales on specific products.
Awesome spot! Huge selection. There is a large room with rough material, which is primarily what I go for. Some prices are high but most are reasonable. They also have a wholesale section. Sales are frequent and I hear they are bringing in new material soon! They also have dedicated rooms for things like amethyst and fossils. Will absolutely return!

This is one of the biggest and most beautiful rock shops in the US that I have ever seen. There are so many gems for sale here. Sometimes they have 50% off on certain items. This is my son's favorite store and he never leaves empty handed when he comes here. I have spent hours here admiring what they have. Great place !

Incredible selection of fossils, beads, towers, carvings, and even fine jewelry. My favorite part is their massive rough room with fantastic raw specimens sold by weight. Everyone who works here is so friendly and incredibly knowledgeable! Definitely worth a visit if you're anywhere nearby.

My boyfriend Owen and I really love this place. It's our favorite shop as a fun date. There are lots of varieties of rocks, crystals and fossils to look through and take home! If anyone likes to collect these items, this place is for you. The Rock shop will forever be your oyster. They have jewelry, miniatures and other items made out of those materials. It's a big place to explore.
Lisa D — Google review
Me and my friend Mike LOVE this place. I started getting interested in geodes and fossils, so we went here for the first time. Let me tell you, it did not disappoint. If there was a 6 star option i would choose it, but it would bring this rating to a 1 star. One of our favorite things was the world’s LARGEST Lemurian. You would think it would be in a museum, but it’s not. This shop is mind blowing as like i mentioned, it’s like a museum. The people here are so nice and my rock collection is blinding with all the stuff. We seriously can’t describe how good this place is, so go for yourself. PS: People don’t like being followed around, but it strikes up a nice conversation if you ask about things or just start talking to the employees.

Paintball center
Midway Paintball Facility in northern California is a popular destination for paintball enthusiasts, featuring 6 themed courses spread across 25 acres. With regular paintball sessions available for ages 10 and up, younger children can also participate in Low Impact Paintball. The facility ensures that beginners are grouped together to build confidence under the supervision of referees who match players by skill level. The outdoor fields offer diverse terrain with buildings, inflatable cover, and natural features.
I took my son and two of his friends for the low velocity kids paintball today. Great service and friendly staff. The owner was our Referee and directed good games. Also it was good value for money, most entertainment feels like a rip off, not so with midway paintball.

wonderful customer service, good wait time for hot fresh egg sandwiches. My wife and I came in on Saturday around 2pm. When we first walked in, we noticed the floors were freshly mopped and very wet without any "wet floor" signs which is a hazard. There is no person actively working the order counter and was not greeted, so we just ordered through the Kiosk. We each got the Burg-R-Tater Melt Munchie Meal ($13 w/ drink) which was a great deal as it was a lot of food: crescent burger with melted, gooey cheese with bacons and a hash brown; curly fries, taco and mini churro (or can opt for a cookie). The meal was very filling and we each had some food to take home. Overall service was fair, but the employees were all nice.
Jonathan S — Google review
I’m seriously disappointed and spent $40 for 3 orders that were incomplete. It wasn’t even busy, and yet they still managed to mess up my order — not just a little, but completely. If you’re going through their drive-thru, make sure you check your order before you leave, because they clearly know how to screw it up and couldn’t care less. Their workers were just standing around while the orders got messed up. Now after a long, exhausting day at work, I have to waste more time going back to the damn store — when I don’t even have the energy left to deal with this. All because they couldn’t get a simple order right. Completely unacceptable.

Who doesn’t love Jacks tacos? Just got some very stale, overcooked tacos. I called talked to manager Esa to let her know. She wanted us to return to get new tacos. Uh no. It’s okay. Not at gas prices for 99 cent tacos 😂 I don’t think Esa understood me. There was a communication gap. But the location on Leisure Town Road in Vacaville CA needs to take a look at the expiration dates of food & their tacos.

Just another typical Jack in the box. I gave it high a high rating because I prefer their food.
Gloria C — Google review
This Jack in the Box has to be the worst one around. I have never had a good experience here and I try to avoid it but I keep hoping that maybe I will go on a day that all goes well. The service is equally as bad as the food. Avoid this one. The picture is of the big box popcorn chicken. I think I got someone's used snack. The hamburger I got for my coworker was embarrassing. The lettuce was old and the meat was grey and old. $16.68 wasted. Oh, and the prices are ridiculous. This is fast food. I expect more if I pay more.

Peña Adobe Regional Park, also known as Lagoon Valley Park, is a large and beautiful park in Vacaville, offering a wide range of activities for visitors. From hiking and biking to fishing and disc golf, the park has something for everyone. It features BBQ areas, a dog park, archery facilities, and even historical attractions like the Pena Adobe building - the oldest structure in Solano County.
2/17/25 Monday president day holiday. We just drive by n stopped at Lagoon valley regional park n I was so thrilled to see such beautiful park. Vacaville is booming & hope city of Vacaville or Mayor could add more big trees for shade, more parking lots, more restrooms, jogging trail around reservoir with asphalt, sports complex, summer picnic areas, street lights, make this park more beautiful. Also please don't build too money homes near by to destroy natural beauty of this park.

We had a large group picnic at Pena Adobe. It's a nice place. They had barbecue pits. Great place to sit and eat our lunch. Large grassy area. Bathrooms were clean. I really liked it. The only downside was it's pretty close to the freeway but didn't really seem to mess with our festivities. I know there's hiking and other things to do there but we never got to do it. I will be going back. They have a great garden and that's full of natural flowers.

A great find for a walk/hike to celebrate that spring has sprung and learn a bit about local history! This park is nestled in with the Lagoon Valley Park. Peña Adobe Park has the oldest structure in Solano County (as early as the 1840s). CA landmark #534. Museum and Adobe tours are the first Saturday of the month. Parking was easy during the week. Peña Adobe Park has a lot of shade and one can also reserve space at the picnic area. The only negative is that the I-80 juts up against the park so freeway noise seeps into the park. Trails connect to the grounds and I was able to go for a hike and see the green rolling hillside around me. Thank you Peña family for making this available. I will return!

A lovely spot for a picnic. I like to stop here when leaving the Bay Area. Its a neat place to walk around and read a little local history. There are now QR codes to enhance your self-guided tour. Our go-to to just get out for a walk that isn't in our neighborhood. We love that there are so many trails do choose from and that they all intertwine somehow. It's beautiful in all " seasons". Plenty of parking. Disc golf course, picnic tables, and plenty of sunshine!

Lagoon valley park is an amazing open space in Vacaville off, I-80. It’s a great place to go for hiking, jogging, biking, and all sorts of activities. There is an area for remote control cars and planes, disc golf, dog park, horseback riding, and so much more.
Kristen E — Google review
I loved this place as it was recommended by a local for a place that I can get my run in. I was in town from Oklahoma and found this place very beautiful. Plenty of trails to run or hike along but some of the paths were kind of rough. The scenery and weather was great all week.
Jimmy M — Google review
It's directly off of I-80 so it's a great rest stop if you're traveling: clean restrooms, drinking fountains, shaded picnic tables, and the best part is it was not crowded at all on a Saturday afternoon. Personally I wouldn't make it my day's destination but it's alright for a short visit. The Adobe is cool though and the ducks are cute.

This park is AMAZING! Many hiking trail and many cows! They have a small play area for kids that have swings, a dog park, a trail around the lake, a golf course down the road, a boat doc next to the swings, and of course the amazing scenery.

4/7/25 Monday views from pena adobe swing is gorgeous. 15 minutes walk from parking lot.
Danny A — Google review
This is my first time coming to this park. It is absolutely beautiful. A gorgeous day for a walk along Eagle Trail. I love seeing so people out here enjoying today. And horses too! I will definitely be back!!❤
Karen A — Google review
One of the best parks near Vacaville. This is a huge park as it's considered a regional park. The entry fee is $5 per vehicle, but they sell annual pass too. Sometimes the parking ticket machine is broken, so you may need to pay online if the physical machine does not work. The lake serves water to the city. I saw people kayaking on the lake so I guess that is allowed. However, swimming is prohibited. There are a lot of ducks that are friendly (not really) to the visitors. Overall, a fantastic park in Vacaville.

Park
Jack Hume Grove is a charming nature park located in Vacaville, California. It features walking and biking paths surrounded by coastal redwoods and other native plants. The grove, which was originally planted in 1982 to honor Jack Hume, offers a tranquil setting with picnic tables nestled among the trees for a relaxing mid-hike break. With a loop trail of about 2.3 kilometers suitable for various skill levels, visitors can enjoy hiking, walking, running, and biking.
Easy to moderate hiking trails. Kid and dog friendly. Many different trails to take. There’s even a trail where you get up close and personal with the cows. Overall, beautiful views and good vibes!
Omgneesh B — Google review
What a beautiful spot! The redwoods are majestic and the landscaping is lovely!
Megs R — Google review
Wonderful light walk, very shaded, not crowded, and is great for kids and adults alike. There are lots of animals, plants, and interesting things to see. Highly recommended for people who want to enjoy nature but nothing too strenuous.
Deez N — Google review
Beautiful little redwood grove. Nice picnic area. Getting there: (The easy way) The grove is inside the Lagoon Valley Park. Google Maps directs you to the opposite side of the freeway. I guess you are supposed to play Frogger with the semis. There is a service road just past the first parking area as you enter the park that you can follow around to the right. The road takes you right past the grove. This service road connects to Butcher Road on the east side of the park.

Beautiful park & hiking trails. Especially in the spring when the hills are green & all is in bloom. However, Ticks are everywhere!!! Be prepared & dress to protect yourself & always look over your furry friends more than once.
Amy F — Google review
Visit this hidden gem within Peña Adobe Park! This recently renovated area features well maintained paths and Redwood trees that give you a taste of larger parks you can normally only find in bay area. Take a walk, explore the fauna then have a picnic at one of the shaded picnic tables.

Beautiful place to walk... many trails and many have shade. The grove is small but sweet. Lots of birds and flowers. Just minutes from the cities but you feel a world away.
Deborah R — Google review
Relaxing small grove of trees located inside Pena Adobe/Lagoon Valley park, Grove is about 0.5 miles from the north edge of the Lagoon along the paved multi use trail.  A very cool place to rest after a long bike ride or stroll around the sunny park.  The grove itself is very shady and cool temperature wise, with large redwood trees, several tables and a few trash cans, also a nice gravel walkway though the grove to stroll around on and a small creek that was dry when I was here.  The trails also connect to surrounding trails on the park.  There is a small map with explanations of plants, some plants and trees are labeled with what types they are. There is a portapotty bathroom across the trail, unsure of drinking water access, but none that I saw during this visit.

Water park
Walter Graham Aquatic Center is a perfect spot for various occasions like birthday parties and family gatherings, offering an array of water activities. The center features water play areas, diving boards, and thrilling water slides. Additionally, it provides reasonably priced food and drinks for visitors to enjoy. With two pools, including diving boards and water slides, the center is supervised by numerous lifeguards to ensure safety.
Our son swam here for the Junior Olympic age group meet. At first I thought the facility might be a little small for such a large event but it ended up being just fine. The starting blocks are SO much better than the last meet. Having the event and heat easily visible from the practice pool is a really nice feature and makes it easy for the kids to know when they need to get out of the pool so they don't miss their races.

I am beyond frustrated! I visited this waterpark twice, both times it was clearly advertised as open, and both times it was CLOSED when we arrived. This is absolutely unacceptable. They even edited their opening hours less than a week ago, yet the information is clearly false. Time, effort, and plans wasted, this should not happen! Totally disappointed and very angry.

Swim lesson review: My 10 year old son took swimming lessons here for a total of 6 days- lessons were at 5:15pm for 30 mins each (July 1- 11). Usually the sessions are 8 days, but one of the days landed on July 4th and the other day someone threw up in the pool so lessons were cancelled/ refunded. He started in the Jellyfish class, but was not participating due to fear. He was bumped down to tadpole (infant - 4 yrs) to try and get him comfortable in the water. The tadpole instructor (black hair, tan skin, young woman) was extremely accommodating and understanding of my son’s fear and reluctance. Instead of just doing class without him, she found alternative activities to keep him involved and gradually get him more comfortable with the water. My son does not know how to swim yet, BUT he has tried kicking with a kickboard, put his mouth and nose in the water, tried floating on his stomach (with assistance), etc. This is huge considering he would not even get in the pool above his ankles before this. The instructor is incredible with children, was very encouraging and praised my son when he tried new things/ accomplished a new thing. She knew how to gently guide him into trying new things without forcing him or causing him to shut down out of fear/ anxiety. I would recommend this specific instructor to anyone who has a child that is uncomfortable/ afraid of water.

Beat the Room - An Escape Room Experience

Escape room center
Recreation center
Beat the Room is an escape room experience with two locations in Vacaville and Rocklin, founded by a pair of siblings. The attraction features various themed rooms designed for teams of 2-8 people who have one hour to solve puzzles and uncover mysteries in order to escape. Rooms include 221b Baker Street, a Sherlock Holmes-themed challenge, and The Plundering, an adventure set in the 18th-century pirate era.
Beat The Room is from head to toe a beautiful establishment and experience! Ramon made our experience amazing and entertaining. I’ve played over 80 escape rooms over the years and this place was actually my first. It’s great to be able to continue to return with new and improved rooms! Thank you Beat The Room!
Danielle J — Google review
The Krampus Experience is an absolute blast! The actors did a phenomenal job — truly bringing the story to life. Our group of four couldn’t stop talking about it for hours afterward. From the moment we arrived, Marz and the manager greeted us with such positive energy, making us feel welcomed and setting the tone for an amazing experience. The facility itself is impressive: clean, professional, and well put together. Communication was great throughout the entire process. If you’re thinking about trying the Krampus experience — do it! You won’t regret it!
Michele B — Google review
We recently visited Beat The Room in Vacaville after a family member had an incredible experience, and it completely lived up to the hype. The puzzles were challenging, immersive, and so much fun for everyone involved. What makes this experience even more special is learning that Beat The Room is an LGBTQ+ owned and proud business. Knowing that they are true allies is what drew us in, and it feels amazing to support a local business that shares the same values and love we do. It’s inspiring to see a company create such a welcoming and inclusive space while providing top-notch entertainment. We can’t recommend Beat The Room enough and will absolutely be coming back!

Just came to say this place stole 425 from me. Currently FIGHTING to get my money back with my credit card! Shallow way to end your successful business.
Kaitlin A — Google review
My group got there 10 minutes early and there was a group that was before us. They started the time before we got into the room while they were explaining the rules of the escape room, ten minutes after our start time, which cut our time down. Additionally, the girl wasn’t able to provide decent hints. They told us they us they would give us an extra 5 minutes but we still ended 5 minutes BEFORE our scheduled end time. We had a good time but if we were accurately compensated for the time we paid for and the hints we asked for this would have been a better review.
Austin T — Google review
Super fun. Birthday treat, fun staff. No questions... the staff did it right!! I have never been to a place like this. My wife picked the pirate themed one and it was a blast. Will definitely come back. You have to pay close attention to everything and explore. Larger groups are hard. Too many single minds.

So much fun! I’ve been here twice with friends and did the Prohibition one as well as the pirate one The game masters are awesome and get into character when they introduce the games. They’re super helpful throughout the games as well with their extremely vague hints that make you do the work for the most part (They don’t outright give you any answers. They just guide you to one). Definitely recommend

Had a great time with my family at Beat The Room. Staff was awesome, friendly and helpful. Best escape room I've been to. They have single and multi-room with varying degrees of difficulty. We did The Plundering... and we made the board!

Thai restaurant
Restaurant
Rose Garden Thai is a cozy and inviting restaurant that offers a variety of traditional Thai dishes. The menu includes options like fried tofu with sweet and sour sauce and crushed peanuts, as well as chicken satay with cucumber salad. Located near Vacaville City Hall, it's conveniently situated for both locals and visitors. The restaurant provides a casual and comfortable atmosphere, making it suitable for families with children. Guests can enjoy generous portions of delicious food while receiving friendly service from the staff.
The menu here isn’t enormous but it has a little of everything. Your standard popular Thai dishes are available, but this restaurant also has a lot of unique specials. We got the pad see ew, yellow curry and fried calamari. WOW. Beyond how delicious this meal was, the service was top notch. Every customer I saw walking in was greeted warmly, and seated. That good feeling you get for supporting a small business is going to occur here. We also got mango and sticky rice with two Thai iced teas to go and it was delicious. This restaurant is also featured on doordash, and about a week later we ordered delivery. The same quality was there! You can tell the owners and staff’s heart and soul go into this establishment.
Rachel C — Google review
Came here for lunch. Pad Thai chicken is wet. If you know anything about pad Thai, it should be stir fried dry with wok hei. This is not good. Other item we got was beef Thai basil, the flavor was good but bell peppers and string beans were undercooked. I guess this restaurant is under new ownership, and they changed everything that made this place with cozy and like home. I also think it’s ridiculous that lunch menu is pretty much $1 off everything.
Brian L — Google review
Maybe inflations as bad as ever, but I’m never coming here again. Scam for now. $27 for pad thai and spring rolls. No joke. You can order AYCE for that price everybody! And then to mock me further there’s almost no meat. Just look at the pics. Jokes on you guys. I’m leaving a review for once.
Brendan C — Google review
I really don’t like leaving bad reviews but I had a bad experience with this restaurant’s to go order system via door dash. I ordered on their restaurant website, received all the confirmation texts that my payment went thru and texts that my order was ready. I go to pickup and my order was no where to be found! The lady working there was trying to blame it on someone else. She just said “call and cancel” huh? I paid for my order already! I called the number listed on my confirmation email and someone just picks up and hangs up every time! She acted like she could care less and was not helpful at all to help solve the issue or why my order was missing in the first place. Had to contact door dash to get a refund. It’s the restaurants responsibility to check in the door dash orders! I really hope you do better Rose garden.

Have been here several times over the years. Has changed hands a few times, and we have stopped coming. We tried it again yesterday, and it was okay. The food is definitely more Laos style. We saw that the Papaya Salad was available in both Laos and Thai style. This is a tell that the food is more Laos than Thai. We chose the Thai style, and it was good. Maybe a little too sweet ,but it's a good flavor. We had had the pork belly appetizer, and it was not very good. Hard and dry. I ordered Pad Thai, and it was more like spaghetti. Very wet and drippy. No sprouts or greens, just peanuts and a couple of lime wedges. It wasn't bad tasting. it just wasn't what I expected. Service was fine, although maybe a little slow to start. There was nobody else in the restaurant, but it was just after 5, and they seemed to be getting some to go orders. There was no hand soap in the bathroom, only hand sanitizer. A lot of things are stored in the dining room. Not a place I would go on a date.
D A — Google review
The food is amazing but the service is the real star of the show. Food and service is far above all the other Thai restaurants in town!

Fast food restaurant
KFC is a popular restaurant chain known for its signature fried chicken buckets, combo meals, and various sides. Customers can enjoy their classic fried chicken along with options like fries and coleslaw. The restaurant also offers convenient ordering through user-friendly kiosks. Some locations are praised for their cleanliness and friendly staff. Additionally, KFC provides quick delivery services and is easily accessible from major highways. Overall, the dining experience at KFC can vary by location but often includes tasty food and accommodating service.
I like KFC fried chicken, and there is a family drum fried chicken set menu. Great. The store is clean and bright, and the delivery is fast. Open 7 days. If you pass the I80 highway, it is easy to find it when you come out at exit 53. It is also very easy if you are thinking of going back to high speed.

How does this cost over $17? New hot honey chicken. Not worth it. Please go to Cane's and get a better deal and better taste

Salt Salt Salt. Salty fried chicken, salty french fries... No tomato sauce or anything. Especially at this KFC. Seems the original good taste of KFC has gone over the years. This will be my last try in KFC.
Abhijith S — Google review
The manager here needs to be fired immediately. The everyday employee's do a better job than she does. These employee's will park me whenever I request for fresh fries or a fresh chicken sandwich. She will lie straight to my face saying that the fries or chicken sandwiches are fresh. She will not park me and she will hand me the food she claims is fresh. I have been given really old fries and cold chicken sandwiches by this woman. Her name is Alejandra, she is very rude. She has argued with me about the food as well. The employees on the other hand are respectful and will always offer to park me to cook my food fresh I do not mind waiting. This manager needs to be removed ASAP. I have the interactions on my Dashcam. Very unprofessional.

Food is on par with other locations. But explain to me how a simple mobile order takes longer than going thru the empty drive thru. 🤔 Ordered on mobile, pulled up to the empty drive thru and they asked me to wait for 10 min. How can you not just process it now as if I ordered thru the drive thru? Service is poor Not that polite either.

Cafe
Wren's Café is a cozy and inviting spot located near Vacaville Outlets. Despite its small size, the restaurant offers a comfortable and clean dining space. The friendly staff, including server Cheryl, provide excellent service. The menu features familiar options like pastrami sandwiches with melted Swiss cheese and O'Brian potatoes instead of hash browns. Although the exterior may not be impressive, the food is made to order and served hot and fresh.
This has been a local staple since my teenage years. My dad woild take me to all breakfast places that had unusually OverSized plates (lumber jack style). Wrens cafe features MAN sized plates for breakfast. I am grateful to be able to take my children to these memorable local establishments, that bring back fond memories of my childhood and past, that make the present day a bit more bearable with memories of our lost loved ones fresh in our minds merely by visiting once again. If your in the area- and you cant decide on a place to go, give this one a shot. Maybe just maybe you can imprint a similar memory for your loved ones to experience one day long after your gone. Places like this one are still going because of their true commitment to provide a family style place to make memories. When your facing the end of your days the onky thing we have left are memories. Make as many good ones as you cna while you can. Lunch served at breakfast upon request- i had the steak sandwich and fries/salad my daughter had the bacon, potatoes and eggs/toast. Anothet great memory made - i truly hope that she one day can come here to remember this simple breakfast with dad.

Wren’s Cafe in Vacaville, CA, is family owned small spot serving up breakfast and lunch daily. Current hours are 6am-1:30pm. The food is simple, classic ole fashion American breakfast and lunch items (burgers, sandwiches, soup, and salads). The place looks just as it did when it opened in 1986. Been a customer since then. It is located right off Alamo exit off Interstate 80. The food is basic. Not fancy schmazy, nor innovative. The interior has seen better days. Clean but worn. The seating is booth seating and a few counter seats. The folks are hardworking, genuinely friendly, and real. Tip: the restroom (which is a single user) is in the back right corner. The door opens directly into the dining room. So you may want to avoid sitting next to it.

Food was amazing. By far the best food I've had at a restaurant in a very long time. This is a small mom and pop place but that's what I like about it. Servers helped everyone, quick, and great price. I just wish I would've had the biscuits and gravy.

Stopped here by chance on our way to a San Francisco about 6 years ago. I was happy with the environment, food and staff. I knew what to expect by the look from outside. Not a fancy chain restaurant, just hard working people doing the best they can competing with the big boys. I wanted an experience that was from the past where you bumped elbows and have to make eye contact with those around you. I stop here with my family every chance we get even though we live over a hour away. Thank you, Wrens Cafe
Sanchez S — Google review
Had been wanting to try Wren's and now regret stepping foot inside and giving them a penny let alone a LOT of money for semi hot trash Where to start, the sausage patty, hoping it would be good and handmade was the thinnest, pre packaged sausage I've ever had even from any fast food establishment. The breakfast potatoe bags are sitting out for all to see they are frozen, pre made for the deep fryer trash. Everything is extremely expensive for such cheap ingredients, wait staff hovers around the tables held up by old timers drinking coffee and ignores anyone they don't know. The biscuits and gravy are almost $20 and worth about $2. Gravy was bland trash and the biscuits were not fresh

Finally I made it in here! After driving by it for years I had the opportunity to eat breakfast. My wife and I were back in California for a few days and were staying in Vacaville. I told her I had been by this place for years and wanted to give it a try. It did not disappoint! The chicken fried steak was very good and the gravy had a good flavor. The service was good and it was very busy on a Sunday morning. This is right off Interstate 80 so its easy on and off. Well worth the time and effort!
