Zoo
Nature & Parks
Park
Irvine Park Zoo is a 318-acre city park in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin, offering a variety of attractions for visitors. The park features a petting zoo, cross-country ski trail, historical buildings such as a 1903 schoolhouse, and picnic grounds. Visitors can explore miles of hiking paths and venture through the zoo to see well-cared-for animals.
Irvine Park is fun to go to anytime of the year the animals are great the kids have a blast they have playgrounds picnic areas animals walking areas the farm. Going around Christmas time is one of my favorites the Christmas display that they put on is so cute. They have tons of lights and figures and at the end towards the animals they have stories which my kids love to stop and read..My kids have a blast doing this. If you go through for the light show there are quite a few cars that go so you may get stuck in a line but it is a decent moving line for the most part. When you go to see the lights you can walk through the parks and the lights or you can drive.

Nice park and zoo with great views. We visited in the end of April so petting zoo was closed and some animal were not visible but we still had a good time. I was impressed at how accessible everything was by wheelchair and walker and the many benches that allowed rest breaks when needed. We did not see the whole area but many kids were enjoying the playground equipment and we enjoyed watching the geese in the river.
Deb H — Google review
This is a great park & zoo! We have 3 children 4 and under and are vacationing in Lake Holcombe. The drive wasn’t too long and this is a great stop perfect for an adventure when not looking for an entire day stop. Bear, hyena, cow, eagle, hawk, and other small animals. Two playgrounds, a trail, and views of the river. And it’s free but you may leave a donation if you want. So glad we stopped! Highly recommend a visit!
Cala N — Google review
If you are in the area, this is a MUST. Our expectations were beyond exceeded, and we are literally planning a trip back to see more of the property. The park itself is both massive, and absolutely GORGEOUS. As for the Zoo, what they are doing is amazing. They have delivered a top notch facility for both the animals and guests alike, and I can enjoy the space in good conscious knowing the animals are being cared for incredibly well. I would strongly recommend this place.
Jason S — Google review
The zoo is really not the highlight of this park, it's the beautiful green space, playgrounds, picnic areas, water features and attention to renewing native plants that make it great! AND it's free. I am impressed!
Faith M — Google review
Unfortunately this place is small, outdated, and sad. The animals all live on concrete floors with almost no enrichment, and there's about 6 of them to see. When we went they were repairing the lion enclosure, which had broken windows and broken wooden bridges inside for the lion. Sadly the animals do not seem happy or well kept, and the zoo owners seem to be asking for donations on every bad review rather than trying to find better homes for these creatures. Avoid at all costs!
Colin Z — Google review
Irvine Park is a beautiful place to explore. A lot of animals to see, nice nature trails with different experience levels, a petting zoo, splash pad, picnic areas and multiple playgrounds. All of the kids (ages 4,10,15) loved the dirt hiking trails by the river, waterfall and rock cliffs. The petting zoo is only opened certain days/times so definitely check if that's what you'd like to see. All of the other zoo animals are in enclosed glass, cages or in large fenced areas outside. The large animals are harder to spot in the fields but more exciting for the kids. Inside you can find frozen drinks, ice cream, snacks, hotdogs and other treats. Plus the museum with tons of really old trinkets, animal furs, even a carriage! I would highly recommend Irvine Park to anyone visiting or local looking for something fun outdoors to do with the family! We go at least once a month if not more! And the Christmas Village every year is breathtaking, definitely check it out if you haven't seen it!
Amyjo — Google review
We actually came across this while trying to find a spot for a picnic while on the road. This was a hidden gems that we enjoyed so much. Would love to come back and explore again. There was not a lot of animals when we went but it is based off donations and I wish I had a million to give away.

Ice cream shop

Olson’s Ice Cream is a beloved sweet shop and cafe that has been churning out delicious ice cream since 1944. Located at 611 North Bridge Street, this time-tested establishment prides itself on making ice cream in small batches using original ingredients like fresh whole milk, cream, and sweetened condensed milk from local dairies. The result is a high-quality product with no powders or fillers.
I love Olson’s. I’ve been going there for over 30 years, ever since I was a kid, and I was lucky enough to work there during high school too. Whether it was in the back making ice cream or up front serving customers, everyone really cared about keeping things consistent and special. Now that I’ve moved away, I still think about their butter pecan waffle cones, mint cookies and cream, or a good old chocolate malt all the time. It’s just one of those places that sticks with you. Thanks for the visit
Taylor L — Google review
Once you’ve had frozen custard, you can’t really go back to regular ice cream. But the ice cream was still good! If you’re wanting something sweet and happen to be in the Chippewa Falls/Eau Claire area, check out Olson’s ice cream.
Mayra R — Google review
Olson’s always reminds me of home, so I had to stop by for some nostalgia—especially on a hot day at the air show. For the most part, it’s still the Olson’s I remembered. The exterior has gotten a nice revamp, which looks great and freshens things up. Inside, it was very crowded with people lined up wall to wall, but that just speaks to how popular it still is. I got a root beer float, which was awesome and hit the spot. I also had to get my longtime favorite—cotton candy ice cream. But I think they may have changed something in the recipe. It used to have these little rainbow chips that gave it a fun texture and flavor, but it just didn’t taste the same this time around. A bit disappointing since that flavor was such a childhood staple for me. Still, it’s always nice to return to a place tied to so many good memories.
Brittaney M — Google review
Visiting from out of town, and this was our first time at this location (we’ve been to the one in Eau Claire). It’s a cute shop with a fun, oversized ice cream seat out front. You can enjoy your treats there or grab a table inside. We got a warm greeting from a young woman who helped with our order. We chose a couple of malts, a dish, and a double scoop in a waffle cone. The portions were very generous (maybe I should have gone with a single?). Everyone loved what they got. They also sell other items, including bulk coffee, apparel, and various merchandise. Would definitely come back again.
Scott W — Google review
The lemon poppy seed was one of the best ice cream flavors that I have had in a very long time. Portions are huge, especially in a waffle cone. Single flavor was more than enough.
Orion P — Google review
They have so many flavors of ice cream there that is amazing and it is all homemade. Fortunately, I am a large chocolate shake guy. Best ice cream around and the atmosphere is awesome. Took my nephew, my great nephew and my great niece there yesterday and we all had a great time. Makes for a great memory.
Max S — Google review
What's there to add about this place that others have not said but...ICE CREAM! Fantastic place and Olson's ice cream is delicious 😋 stopped yet again, tried the coffee expresso, so good!!
Ryan R — Google review
Large variety of unique flavors. Indoor and outdoor seating. They also offer catering. Their grapefruit sorbet was delicious. Being ice cream (not custard, for that please find a Culvers) their product is very fresh, served at the proper temperature- not too hard or soft, not grainy, and not too airy. It is “homaid” (not home made) so it does contain ingredients like cellulose gum, guar gum, mono & diglycerides… all legally allowed food ingredients in the USA. See pic

Brewery
Located in Chippewa Falls, the Leinie Lodge is a must-visit destination for beer enthusiasts and those interested in experiencing the rich history of the Jacob Leinenkugel Brewing Company. As the headquarters of Leinenkugels, it offers tours of the seventh-oldest brewery in the United States, providing visitors with an opportunity to learn about the family's passion for hand-crafted beer that has been passed down through generations since 1867.
Great spot to experience some of Leinenkugel’s many beers and merch. You also get to taste up to 5 beers after a tour of the brewery, so that’s nice. The food options could be improved for a longer stay instead of leaving the Lodge. Other than that, a really cool place to visit.
Joseph W — Google review
The leinie lodge was so fun! We stopped in on a Saturday and were able to get in for a tour. Our tour guide was so nice and knowledgeable she was wonderful! We enjoyed the beer garden afterwards and tasted some pilot beers. I had the pomegranate shandy and it was delicious!
Megan G — Google review
This was a wonderful look into the rich history of Leinenkugel beer. The staff was phenomenal and the beer is as well. The lodge has displays and a wide assortment of related items for sale.
Larry A — Google review
Such a great place to check out! We didn't have time for the tour but the beer, pretzels and gift shop were awesome! We were excited the Trolley food truck was there and tried the mac n cheese with pulled pork and the nachos. Both were delicious!
Ashley — Google review
While they are not using the original brewery, Leinenkugel's in Chippewa Falls is still open, giving tours, and serving great beer! They are doing some amazing things in the Pilot Brewery in the Lodge, and the Barrel Yard in Milwaukee. At the Lodge, they have the typical Leinenkugel brews, PLUS the brews they are making in the Pilot Brewery and the Barrel Yard. I had an excellent Maibock (Helles) today while Kris and Pat enjoyed the Bourbon Old Fashion and Sandy had the Grapefruit Shandy. I can also recommend the Barrelman Ale, Dry Hopped Pilsner, Big Eddy Imperial Stout, Octoberfest, Northwoods Amber, Dark Lager, Tropical Hazy IPA, Northwoods Amber and Lakeside Cherry.#Linenkugels. #leininkugels, #leinielodge, #barrelyard

Excellent place to visit! Our tour guide Diane was great, we were on our honeymoon and she made us feel special. The lodge and shop is really cool and so was the tour. Shame they don’t brew beer there anymore but the buildings are great to see! Would recommend to visit if you are in Chippewa Falls.
Kyle S — Google review
This was a cool place to visit. Seating and atmosphere was awesome. Being from Texas it was cool to see how some places are trying to mimic this concept. The decor and history all around the building was so nice. The multiple choices of beer leaves you wanting to buy more flights. Be careful though there is not food served here so flight two might take you over the limit if you have no food in your stomach. Would have enjoyed the beer tour but I had kids and other people with me. For your family that cannot consume gluten they have options for them to enjoy while enjoy all the beer flavors and mixes.
Roberto D — Google review
Spent some time in the Leinie Lodge before and after doing the tour of the Leinenkugel brewery. This is such a neat place to hang out with friends and grab a beer. We got 4 drink tickets each with the tour for 5oz pours of their different brews on tap. I tried the dark lager, lakeside cherry, Leinenkugel original, and honey lemon lager. All of them were great, my favorite being the dark lager. The bartenders and all the staff working there were absolutely amazing as well. Huge selection of Leinenkugel merchandise for sale.

Food & Drink
Located in Chippewa Falls, Jacob Leinenkugel Brewing Company is a 145-year-old brewery that offers free tours throughout the year. Visitors can explore the brewery's history and modern operations, with options for one-hour or two-hour tours. The longer tour includes a tasting glass. Reservations are recommended, and there's also a gift shop, lodge rentals, and an event calendar to explore.
We really enjoyed our short time here. The beer was really good and it was fun to learn all the different flavors that you get when mixing different beers. We also bought some shirts (super cute, nice quality) along with some Wisc. cheese and beef sticks. Really nice staff that instantly makes you feel welcomed. They also have a nice patio to enjoy your flight of beer. The only complaint that we have is how early they close on a sat (8pm)

Really sad to see the brewery production stopping. Had a great time going on tour, fabulous guide. I booked the tour same day and they couldn’t squeeze my husband in, so I went alone. I was super disappointed they couldn’t let him in, seemed like one more wouldn’t have ruined anything. Really neat historical place, definitely recommend! The beer is interesting, lots of fruity choices. Samples come with the tour. Lots of merchandise, super impressive!

I went on a well thought out tour with guide Miranda. Heard how the Leinenkugel beer is made & saw the process to make the beer. Good tasting & merchandise. I got a hat & shirt too. Fun board games, Rummikub, events such as music, trivia, dogs can come outside on certain evenings, & pinball machines.
Trevor G — Google review
A beautiful, open space. They have a section with a detailed history of the brewing company. It has a lot of seating and two bars, which speeds up service because the place can grow busy after work. Unfortunately, they don’t always have all their beers on tap, so you might check before you go if you have your heart set on one in particular.
JC C — Google review
At Leinenkugel's Tasting Brew Pub's cozy bar and retail area in Ladysmith, WI, we skipped the tour but were wowed by bartender Tracey's amazing service. We sampled their craft beer flights and all i can say is wow o wow. My favorite was the white mocha stout, a true sleeper. Was balanced with the perfect amount of sweetness. The $15-per-person, one-hour tour sounds like a no-brainer for next time. Can’t wait to stop by again next year!
Eric H — Google review
A unique brewery with tours operating daily, get out here before Jan 17th 2025 to experience the brewery before the tours cease. We had a great time and our tour guide was great!
Joseph W — Google review
Beautiful location with a great tasting room. Was disappointed to find out during the tour that they had shuttered production operations last January. Recommend they let patrons know prior to tour purchase, as the tour is still given as if it’s an active brewery.

I had the Big Eddy Uber Oktoberfest back in 2013 and found out it was finally available again only at The Leinie Lodge in 2025. I couldn't wait to have it again! It was great, the service was great. I purchased a couple of growers too. Thanks! Bring back the Big Eddy brews permanently!

Fairground
The Northern Wisconsin State Fairgrounds is a popular venue for various events, including the Oktoberfest Chippewa Falls and Springfest. The fairgrounds offer a family-friendly environment and convenient parking. Visitors can enjoy authentic German festivals, live music performances, and delicious food from fantastic vendors. The fairgrounds provide an excellent setting for entertainment with great sound quality and easy access to amenities such as restrooms.
This was an excellent fair without the massive crowds! The food venders were fantastic so we went back another night! We also went to one of the bands and it was a perfect set up, great sound, easy in and out, just wonderful. We were super happy and hope to go back next year! I can't wait to go back and I hope there are good band choices again next year. We also thought the band tickets were reasonable which is amazing! All the employees were super nice. They also had plenty of bathrooms, portapottys etc.
C K — Google review
We went for the fair food. Man, was it good! First off, there are only a few places to get adult drinks at the NWSF as they call it. That would be The Lienie Lodge and a couple of small vendors. One of which was in building D2 today. There are a ton of rides, which would have been great when we were in our teens up to thirties. Kids were there enjoying them a lot, which is great to see. The helicopter ride pullout must have been instructed to be a bit more daring, as the chopper was doing 360s, going up and down fast, zooming her and there. That's one ride I didn't feel like taking a chance on. So, on to the part about the food. You can get steak dinners for $15 and up, Domino pizza for $15 a while pizza. We got curds right away. Of course, you get about a half serving for $9 now. But they were tasty. We shared a gyro for $15, which was $10 the last time we went to the NWSF. It was packed very full and was very tasty. It was worth the price. Then, seeing as we were already pretty full, we got the for long corndog. It was very satisfying and possibly worth the $10 we paid. We went on a Friday before 3 pm, and there was available parking in the free lot beside the park. Additional parking in the fair and outside runs around $5 in 2025. There was not a much livestock as we're used to seeing at the NWSF. Poultry used to take up half a barn, but this year was down to less than 1/4 of a barn. There was pretty much 1 of each breed for the most part. Overall, it was a great time. The micro brew place was good, and the staff was courteous. There were a ton of vendors like John Deere, Willy's RV, and so many more! We had a very good time and hope the fair keeps going for a long time.

Do not buy food in this place, the food is disgusting, then they sell you tacos that look like burros, I ordered food, I spent 120 dollars and I didn't like it, I had to throw away the food, they trick you, they sell things that are not paid for and they give you something else and they don't change it or give it back to you.

It was our first time going to the Northern Wisconsin state fair. Parking was accommodating with guides for easy parking. The food stands were fantastic, variety of games and the rides were entertaining as well. We will definitely be going back next year!
Jackie A — Google review
Very nice grounds, a lot of stuff to look at and do. Fair prices are quite high nowadays, $5-10 minimum for one round of any game. Food was hit or miss depending on the booth. Not a lot of bathrooms, and needed a lot more seating areas.
A S — Google review
You’ve got to train staff better! This lady I know came to her first concert there with her family and had no idea about the purse policy. She was cursed at and yelled at and was told to get the hell out or throw her purse in front of a ton of people!!!! Insane how staff can treat people like that especially when she’s an older lady who had no idea but we saw other people with the same size purse! Do better!
Anna — Google review
Haven't been here for about 10 years. Not much has changed except prices. But everything is going up so that was to be expected. Lots of people. Most of it was shoulder to shoulder but there was a big named band that night playing. Couldn't ride the rides unless you wanted to stand in line for an hour. But it was still fun to get out and see again.

Takeout Restaurant
Bresina's Carry Out is a popular spot known for its delicious take-out food. Despite the abundance of fried and bar-style dishes on the menu, customers seem to enjoy the variety. The grilled chicken sandwich with added bacon and sidewinder fries received high praise for their flavors and textures. The mushroom burger was also recommended by one visitor. Many patrons appreciate the short wait times, especially when picking up orders on-the-go.
Feels like a family run business. The price for what you get is like no place else for a little under $9 I got 4 huge pieces of delicious chicken and a enough fries for 3 ppl. Second time visiting: knocked it out of the park AGAIN. Talked with the owner for a while this time. Very friendly down to earth guy. Couldn't decide what I wanted so I got fish and chicken. Both of them are amazing. They don't offer much for sauce so byos. They do have homemade tartar sauce which is dank and the homemade coleslaw is also damn good. I 1,000% recommend this place.
Brandon J — Google review
If you want new business to come back, you should probably leave the attitude elsewhere. First impressions mean everything to new customers. Laughing and slamming food in someone's hand when they ask for a special request is childish and far from someone understanding how business works. Kindness can go a long way to bring customers back. The food was ok, no season or flavor to it but it was cooked through and I suppose that's what matters here.
Vada S — Google review
This is a small place where your order and pick you pick your food up. They do have a couple tables outside nothing inside for seating. The place of the jumbo shrimp. Wow the flavors it was amazing also the fish great and the jo-jo's, super.
Marion J — Google review
Simply put this is one of the best values in food in Chippewa county. Nothing they make is bad. Their fish fry is epic and yummy , Chicken beats anyone in Chippewa or Eau Claire county and the other items they sell are all top end. From Shrimp that is fantastic to Burgers you will not find better food at better prices anywhere ! While the rest of the world jacked up prices through this wild period this place kept it real and affordable to eat and never skimps on portions. I will spend money here as long as they are in business and will eat there at least every month for the rest of my life. One of the true gems of the city of Chippewa Falls. Service is really ace and you feel great about spending money on food here. You want this place to stay in business. They are always trying to make their food better and do the small things to keep it at the highest levels of yummy. You do not go here for atmosphere but you somehow come away feeling you are part of it all . This place is a place you will not regret eating at and you want to support this business when you get food in belly. The ONLY thing they make I do not like it Coleslaw. They make a bad one but that is not why you eat here anyways. There homemade tartar is some of the best sauce you can put on fish. Enjoy places like this while they still exists . Places like this are fastly being phased out of communities and when they are gone we will all be lesser because of it.
Josh B — Google review
Food is great for the price. We grabbed a chicken and shrimp dinner and drove up to the park to eat it. Everyone was happy with the food. They have tables outside but it was too sunny to sit there. Took about 15 minutes to get our food. I would definitely stop in again. Much better than any fast food franchises.
Steve W — Google review
Went there for the first time on Mother’s Day based on the suggestion of my niece. I normally don’t like these type of restaurants cuz it’s a lot of fried food and noisy. I mean their menu has a lot of fried and bar typical food but that’s ok. I ordered the grillled chicken sandwich and added bacon. I also tried the sidewinder fries. The chicken was real moist and bacon crispy. I loved the sidewinders. It’s like a jojo but screwy looking. My niece has a mushroom burger and that likes good. I had the spicy Bloody Mary and that was good. No fun edibles tho. The best thing is their prices are really good. The young girl that was our waitress was very nice and attentive. I’ll be back and take my husband next time.

We've ordered from here a few times and each time it's been great! This last time I ordered wonton soup and the reason I'm docking a star is because there was shrimp in it, which isn't disclosed on the menu. I don't eat shrimp and I wouldn't have ordered it if I knew there was shrimp in it. Otherwise, fast preparation and friendly staff.

She has been a staple of Chippewa Falls Chinese food for decades. They are better than any buffet in the area that is for sure. The food when spicy is some of the best Chinese spiced food you can get anywhere. The do not hold back on the heat and it's a very unique kind of spice that really enhances the dishes. She rules ! The woman who runs this place is one of our true gems of Chippewa and is wonderful . The only reason I did not give the food a 5 star rating is the Crab Rangoon is some of the worst I have eaten anywhere. I am not a fan of the egg rolls either . Fried foods are not her specialty but the dishes are really well made and she uses ingredients that are super fresh always. So the fired stuff is not the best stuff they offer but the rest is premo Especially if you like is spicy. The Maifun noodles made spicy (hunan) are a special king of yummy as if the Hunan spiced fried rice in any style is my favorite Fried rice in Wisconsin. Enjoy this place ! There are not many places like this around anymore ! Run by a hard working woman who has had this restaurant in Chippewa for decades. You will quickly enjoy everything about spending money with her and making this shop one of your regular stops for Chinese food.

We go here every Friday night with our grandchildren, they love the fresh cut veggies meals. It is worth the wait. The owner works her hard and is always pleasant! Doesn't look like much from the outside, but the big cut fresh veggies are Yummy. 🥦🫚🥕🥟🍵

Stopped in for the first time. Everything was better than we expected food quality wise. The prices were more than fair. Food served in a timely manner. The vegetables were very fresh. Definitely planning to eat here more often. Wife liked the plate presentation and atmosphere as well as the service and food. It was good enough for us to write a review, so that says something in itself!

I've always enjoyed the Hong Kong House in Chippewa Falls for its great food. However, there are a couple of drawbacks: sometimes they don't answer the phone, so you may need to call multiple times, and they only accept cash payments. So, if you're looking for great food, make sure to bring cash.

Day 2

South side of town
For day 2, we recommend exploring the south side side of town. Start the day off with Lake Wissota State Park, then wind down and take it easy by the time you get to Spring Street Sports. All together, your day would be filled with about 8 hours of non-stop fun.

Nature & Parks
Park
Park with 1,000+ acres of forest & prairie plus a swimming lake, hiking, biking & horseback trails.
We stayed at site 19. It was a good size, quiet, just a couple sites down from the vault toilets (which were very clean), and right next to a water spout. I noticed a lot of large, dead branches hanging which worried me but the site was mostly flat (aside from a couple large tree roots my toddler kept tripping over) so lots of space to put a tent to avoid being directly under the branches. The showers looked nice though I did not use them. The playground was pretty small but clean. The beach had a big area to lay towels. Overall, I enjoyed staying here and visiting Chippewa Falls. I will definitely be coming back to this state park! Also, barely any bugs when we went at the end of May and we saw no ticks!!

Sites are very wooded and private. The campground was very peaceful! A gorgeous quick walk to the lakeshore via stairs behind the play area. We only stayed one night passing through in our RV. As a non-resident, I found it pretty pricey with all the fees and parking costs. 🚻 Bathrooms/shower facility renovations finished May 2025. • Very nice and clean • Free showers with reservation • Nice and warm water 💰Reservation Cost Electric Site: $38/night Non-resident Fee: $15 Reservation Fee: $7.95 $16 parking fee for 1 night Total 1-Night: $76.95 If staying multiple days, parking fee does have a max. I believe around $30. 🪵 Firewood • Available via host (cash only) • Purchase station near restroom facility (card only) Sue, the campground host, was very kind and helpful. She’s been the host for over 9yrs!

The park is quiet, well kept and a nice spot surrounded by woods. It was an enjoyable stay. There is a nice amount of space between campsites. The outer ring allows your camper to tuck under trees and provides nice shade. The shower facilities were very clean. The campground is between the Zumbro river and the native animal zoo. All of it is really in great shape and an interesting place to explore.

We stayed at Lake Wissota State Park for four days during weekdays, and it was super peaceful and very quiet. Very few dogs and little barking. Campsites are very clean and a good size. Electric hookup was the standard 15, 30 & 50 amp breaker box. The park is very large and meandering with the beach very far from most campsites, as is the boat launch. We did have one bear tick while at the park. It was caught before digging in. The main park restrooms have recently been redone and are very nice. The kids' play area is so new that the ground hasn't seeded out yet. The only negative is the almost complete lack of cellular signal on the northwest side of the park. Signal is strongest by the beach and boat landing, but there are no campsites close to that. If you have a cell phone booster, you may get a good signal. There is a lot to do in the area, including golf, shopping in Chippewa, super clubs, wineries such as Autumn Harvest, berry picking at Connell's. There are not a lot of walking trails as you'd see at other state parks, but it's a very nice park.
Beerar I — Google review
Amazing group camping spot, ours had electricity and a shelter, the ground was all slanted, but we made it work. There is plenty of shade and breeze. Wish there were flush bathrooms and showers by the group sites, but oh well, the showeres were well maintained and quite up to date. The sky was gorgeous plenty of space to stargaze. The "swimming" is meh as the water seems to have a bronze color (got out after we realized someone passed away in the water months prior, though). Also not really a beach but a side of a river area, but clean as it could be regardless.

Absolutely beautiful place to go. I spent hours sitting by the lake, writing poetry and had an amazing time. It was so peaceful and relaxing. Definitely something I needed. I will be coming back again.

Gorgeous park with a huge lake, beach and lots of trails. The wildflower trail in July was super pretty with plenty of plants to identify.

Beautiful park, we traveled over a hundred miles to check out their (Bring Fido) dog beach. Save you gas..... its about a single lane highway wide, in amongst weeds and bushes. A fallen tree is in the middle of the water, and 1 picnic table to share with everyone. But,I must say the employees working there were really nice.

If you're on the hunt for a delightful dining experience in Chippewa Falls, look no further than Blue Marble Pub, L.L.C. Nestled conveniently across from Leinie Lodge, this bar and grill is renowned for its mouthwatering wood-fired pizzas that are sure to satisfy your cravings. The ambiance boasts an industrial decor with a gangster twist, creating a unique atmosphere that's perfect for enjoying lunch or dinner after exploring the local area.
This was a really nice spot. Visited the local brewery and decided to stop by this place for a great bite to eat. The salad was my wife’s choice and she enjoyed it very much. My son and I ordered the spicy chicken sandwich which was super spicy. It was delicious and the sweet potato chips were long strips of sweet potato with sea salt. Very pleasant staff. Prices were fair. If I was eating pizza it would have been something I would have ordered. Deep fried cheese curds were amazing. They had a lovely pizza oven and the pizza coming out to the other tables looked amazing.

Overall, the service and atmosphere was pretty chill. It was a bit smaller than what we expected but gave it a cozy vibe. The food however, was horrible. They said that the salad would include greens and spinach but was 95% spinach. It seemed like the salads they put on the menu was an afterthought and was not good at all. The only savior was the fries which were not bad but could’ve been cooked a bit longer. The food was expensive and was definitely not worth it.

They where very busy when we got that and our server was spot on. The cocktail where good. Our food was good. Perhaps a little more mayo on my wife's chicken sandwich though. We would gladly return

I sure am glad we stopped in here for lunch today. We met the owner, who gave us the background on the name of the bar. Stop in and ask her yourself. One clue, her last name is Marble. Love the atmosphere. I can't wait to go back and try the wood fired pizza. Next time. Also, the fries are very good.

Great stop in town. I had the Grace Kelly, a sweet potato black bean burger. It was the most delicious black bean burger I have ever had! I had minestrone instead of fries, a good choice, and only a $1 upcharge. My hubby had a Texas wrap, which is a BBQ pork wrap, with sweet potato chips, he loved it and the chips were homemade and amazing. I would recommend this to all going by, I know I'll stop back through when driving by again. Great service and really cool atmosphere.

We have been there a couple times, and each time has been awesome. The gal helping us was an angel and the crab rangoon pizza special was fantastic!

Highly recommend this place, give it a try and you'll be going back for more!! Great location! The decor and theme was sweet. The staff was knowledgeable, friendly, and accommodating. The food was seriously some of the best that I've ever had! They make meatballs and marinara from scratch, the sweet potato chips are to die for. Their grinders are absolutely amazing, so delicious. They have great appetizers, like wood fire grilled stuffed Portobello mushroom caps with marinara sauce or loaded sweet potatoes with chicken and chipotle sauce. Their menu has a great variety of items, liked wood fire grilled pizzas, grinders, wraps and salads, burgers, and more. Reasonable and fair prices. You should definitely give them a try!

We went in 20 minutes before closing (which we try to avoid because we don't want to be those people). We were welcomed in like we were old friends! The cheese curds were the greatest ice ever had! All of the pizza sounded amazing, I was sad I couldn't try them all. The one we got was delicious. Our lovely bartender recommended a local distillery we ended up loving! A stones throw away from Leinenkugel, it's the perfect stop after! We look forward to our travels bringing us back out west!

Chippewa Candy Shop is a charming, family-owned store located in downtown Chippewa Falls. The spacious shop offers a wide variety of candies and sweets, including soft-serve ice cream, chocolates, and old-fashioned favorites. Visitors can indulge in their favorite treats or discover new ones while exploring the aisles filled with an extensive selection of confections. The store also features unique offerings such as Harry Potter candy and nostalgic childhood sweets.
The Chippewa Candy Store went above and beyond in helping us create the perfect caramel apple to cut at our wedding instead of cake! It was such a fun and unique touch, and not only did it look amazing, but it tasted incredible too. We couldn’t have been happier with how it turned out!
Beth D — Google review
They always have loads of flavors of cotton candy. Assortment of taffy. Various novelty candy. Prices are fair on most items. I absolutely love their caramel apples but what is quite unfortunate is they don't offer just caramel as an option.

We happened upon this candy shop on a whim and it did not disappoint. I have never seen such a large variety of chocolates and candies. The atmosphere, the customer service, and the pricing was amazing. Chris was so generous with her knowledge of the product and helping us select what to take home! Definitely kid friendly and can’t wait to come back and try the caramel apples in the fall! We will be back every summer! 🍭 🍬 🍫 🍎

This shop has retro candy from the 60s. It will take you back in time to childhood memories. There is a huge selection of candy, which makes choosing what to get hard. I give it 5 stars because it's unique. My favorite candy there is the sweet tarts shaped like Legos.
Alex R — Google review
This candy shop has it all! We love visiting the shop and looking through all of the goodies. Many flavors of saltwater taffy and they are always soft! My favorite is the milk chocolate sea salt toffee! Great assortment of sugar free candies too. I always spend way too much but that is because I can't make up my mind on one thing! Prices are good for quality of homemade candies.

Went here on halloween with my daughter for the 3-5 downtown trick or treat. My daughter was ecstatic as normally she loves to stop by the candy store. When we entered we were greeted by two lovely employees who handed my daughter some taffy. Since my little girl saw some of the new halloween mixes she began asking me if i could get her some. While she was looking at her options i noticed her mood completely change and she then asked to leave. She wouldnt tell me until after we left but the employee behind the counter was giving her dirty looks and rolling her eyes when my daughter excitedly shared which candy she wanted. This enraged me as my little girl is only 6 and the employee behind the counter was well in her teens. I dont want this family staple to be ruined because of bad service but I hold chippewa candy to a higher standard than this.
Leah — Google review
Very friendly staff. Super clean. Lots of candy, candy heaven. Since I have been here the last time, some candy have disappeared. They still have a lot of candy. They even have half price candy. Some of them went up in price. But I will still come here, I have not found another candy store like this.

The Double White Cheddar Popcorn is my favorite! They did not skimp on the cheese. It’s literally double, if not triple. I love it. I also love the Sea Salt Caramel Popcorn and the Caramel Honeycrisp Apples. FYI, there is a Penny Press Machine here for those interested.

I highly recommend this business. We rented 3 e-bikes for a very fair cost for four hours. None of us have ever visited Chippewa Falls and as we were getting directions to the bike path, Bob had come into the store for a separate matter. Dave, who had helped us with our rentals asked if Bob would be willing to guide us to the path. Bob was such a wonderful guide, we enjoyed his company and stories of the community. The bikes were so much fun and the employees were all so friendly and helpful. This is a must do again experience.

Really cute place but food was quite disappointing. I had the lunch chicken enchilada. There was hardly any chicken and what was in it was dry and probably 4-5 days old. Entire group had sub par dishes and the food was not very hot even tho the plates were warm. Would not go back, there are plenty of other great dining options in the area.

For a more formal dining experience in downtown Chippewa Falls, make your way to Wissota Chophouse. This establishment is known for its selection of steaks, chops, seafood, and other delectable menu options. If you're looking for a place that puts emphasis on using locally sourced and seasonal ingredients, Maxs Bistro and Bar is another great choice.
It's our first time in this restaurant recommended by a co-worker of mine. My husband and I both love it. He had the deep-fried alligator, which he says is really good. I'll take his word for it since my husband is a very good cook as well. I had the crab cakes and sautéed calamari. I would highly recommend this place. They have outdoor seating available as well.

We had reservation on NYE for 8pm. We got there promptly but had to wait about 45 minutes for our table to be ready. Understanding it’s a busy night, we ordered drinks and waited. They have a nice selection of wine and whiskey/bourbon which was to my husband’s and my liking. Around 8:45 we were seated. The food was pretty good, everything was cooked well however most of it was cool and definitely would have been better had it been warmer. Scallops were cooked perfectly, my husband’s steak was also cooked perfectly. I would skip the Mac and cheese as it really lacked any flavor. The mushroom risotto was excellent and cooked properly... We really enjoyed the Brussel sprouts as well. It was a longer dinner than expected as we didn’t get out of the restaurant until about 10:15-10:30pm as the food did also take a bit to come out, which we were being understanding because again, a busy night. Overall not a terrible experience but when spending $200 on dinner and drinks for two (plus tip), I had a little higher expectations.
Courtney W — Google review
Not impressed at all for $$$. Was decent but not at all what we expected. Husband can seer a steak better than what we got. Mashed potatoes were flavorless, Brussels sprouts weren’t thoroughly cooked. French Onion soup was very good, as was the carrot cake. Very expensive! Waiter was nice.
Carri L — Google review
First time here. We were up from Milwaukee for a family birthday. Normally, we would go to a steakhouse in Eau Claire, but with a recent move to Chippewa Falls, we wanted to try something closer. The Chophouse had good reviews, so we gave it a try. (Spoiler — it was a delightful meal!) The Wissota Chophouse is inside the Cobblestone Hotel. It has a separate entrance that leads right into the dining room. It's not a very big space, but the table arrangements are comfortable, with different-sized tables to accommodate larger groups. We had a 7:00 reservation and were seated right away. Menus and waters came quickly, and our server checked in with us immediately. In addition to taking our drink order (Huckleberry Old Fashioned for me), our server did a nice job of explaining the menu items. He was also candid about the dishes he didn’t think were the “best” choices. I really appreciate it when a server feels connected to the customers and confident enough in their own palate to share honest opinions. We ordered the calamari appetizer. Our server wasn’t crazy about that choice, but we went ahead anyway. It was “okay.” It’s sautéed rather than fried, so you have to set your expectations accordingly. It was hot, flavorful, and a good portion. However, like a lot of sautéed calamari, the rings were overly chewy :( They also provide a complimentary bread service (French?), which was fresh and warm, served with butter and a couple of different salts. That was unique and very good. Our entrées included Ribeye, Chicken Ballotine, Carbonara, and Sea Bass (for me). These items are à la carte, so we also ordered sides of Brussels Sprouts and Mac & Cheese. The food came out in a reasonable amount of time, and everything was served at the right temperature. The Ribeye was excellent, and big enough to share. The Chicken Ballotine was tender and flavorful. My Sea Bass was amazing, though the portion was a bit small. Both sides were very good, especially the Brussels Sprouts, which had just the right amount of crisp. We saved room for dessert and shared two — the Chocolate Cake and the Raspberry Tiramisu. Both were excellent. Overall, the evening was a big success. I really appreciated our server’s help and attention throughout the night (thanks, Bruce). The food was wonderful (with one exception). The atmosphere was upscale but casual. It’s not a cheap dinner, but for what you get, I feel it’s a good value. Overall, a memorable evening — I’d gladly return.

I went with my fiancé for a nice dinner to end our vacation and they immediately were a bit standoffish and rude towards us. The food was not worth the price- just pretty okay, the soda we ordered tasted horrible and they were snobbish throughout the whole meal. The whole thing was very embarrassing
Kayla — Google review
First and foremost Steaks are amazing!!!! The sides are just okay honestly, at most. Take note that everything is sold individually. We had a wide variety of sides, as I was curious knowing the reputation of the restaurant and there weren't any that were as good as I'd hope.

Food is really good laid back fun environment. I had the wings and they were meaty and delicious! Pizza was thin with nice crispy crust loaded with cheese and they have ice cold beer.
Andy F — Google review
Last night, four of us went to The Edge for dinner, two order dinners and two ordered sandwiches.. When my three pieces of cod dinner came out it was completely cold, and I mean COLD. I sent it back and it took forever to come back out. In fact the fish didn’t come out until we were ready to leave. The other shrimp dinner came out and the broccoli and shrimp were cold also. When her meal came back out, it was still cold and rubbery. When they brought out my dinner it was only the sweet potato puffs and broccoli, but I waited till we left before I got my fish. Also, the waitress did not say that this salad bar was included with the dinners. I feel part of it was the waitresses fault that she did not follow up on our meals, they were not busy at all. She could’ve told us that they had a temporary chef in last night, but nothing was said. For almost $20 a meal this is not acceptable. I don’t know if this is a long time occurrence or what but we definitely will not be back. We were very disappointed. Most establishments I’ll make some kind of adjustment but there was nothing said or done, no apology.
Patricia J — Google review
To start, we had a lot of flies swarming around us and they were all over the salad bar. The cheese curds were not real cheese curds they were cut up squares of cheese with a strange breading. Probably the worst deep fried cheese curds I've ever had. The way just took our order but decided not to write anything down and my husband asked if she was going to remember it all and she said yes. But the pizza came and she got it wrong. Two different things on it. Had to get a new one. Really was quite flavorless pizza though. Not the best. The shrimp appetizer was pretty spicy and did not note that on the menu. Overall pretty bad experience wouldn't recommend.
Jennifer B — Google review
Me and my friends came in here exited to try a new place and we were thoroughly disappointed. We sat down the waitress had no idea about the menu and the daily specials. Our cheese curds were luke warm and our drinks came out after about 15 mins. After they were empty we tried ordering another off the special September menu and they were out of the Malibu Black that was featured. None of us were able to finish our burgers because the quality was not good. The Buns tasted like memory foam. The ciabatta bun was stale and the grilled chicken was no wear near the size of the bun. I will not be back. I do not recommend. The workers yell at each other across the rooms. And the restaurant is completely dead.
Brianna W — Google review
Interesting spot. You can boat up to it. Had a big party (12) but we were seated quickly. The waitress was friendly got our drink orders and appetizers quickly. The food took a bit and much of it was luke warm. My burger was missing and the waitress immediately comped it and let me know it would be a few minutes. A fun spot, I'd like to try it again on a date.

Lots of people seem to enjoy the pizza, but my wife and I didn't. I would have to say this is the first place where we didn't enjoy their pizza. It was simply bland. We have only been there this one time. The hostess was a bit short with us for some reason but the waitress was very pleasant. Prices in line with a standard pub and grill. Timely service. For those who care about Covid. The hostess didn't wear a mask. The waitress did. They didn't enforce social distancing but it wasn't so busy so it was easy enough to do it ourselves even at peak hour on a Friday night.

Good food! They have a small menu but the food is good. They offer several varieties of cheese curd flavors and the entrees are delicious. The fish tacos and curd burger will not disappoint.

Restaurant
Located in a historic building, Sheeley House Saloon is a long-standing bar and grill that offers classic American dishes, drinks, and live music. The building has a rich history, having served as a blacksmith shop before being transformed into a saloon and boarding house in the early 1900s. Following extensive renovations in 1981, it reopened as a restaurant.
When to try something new and found this place. The cheese curds we different than your typical curds in Wisconsin, they were cubed and lightly battered 4.5* for these. The drink menu was long, and the drinks were strong, so 5* for this. I had the house special, smoked bacon wrapped meatloaf, which was nearly perfect. I just needed a tad more salt. My wife could not stop raving about the mixed vegetables too. The place has deep history that will give you goosebumps. Jes, I'd like to say a job well done and your staff was great.
Jim K — Google review
I really like their menu! I ordered shrimp dish and there was option to have smaller/half portion. Also seasonal vegetables as sides is a great plus because as Polish I suffer to have enough vegetables in a restaurants. To sum up - great spot, friendly service, lovely outdoor area.
Kasia C — Google review
We stopped in to have a quick lunch and walked in to a BUSY lunch rush! The bars dining tables were full, as well as the side dining area, so we sat at the bar. Joe was the only bartender/server working and I was amazed at how well he handled himself under such a stressful situation! He remained calm and polite! I am extremely impressed. And to top it off, my Hawaiian Long Island and Lunch was great!

Beautiful spot to eat- love the outdoor patio. Had the Big Boom entree and an old fashion. Delicious! The vegetables did need a little salt but loved the variety and how they were sautéed!

I got house salad with blue cheese dressing, chicken pesto flatbread, tiramisu, water, & sprite. All were tasty. I watched the Lions vs Chargers football game on T.V. Staff is friendly & very helpful. Street parking. I will come back next time I visit Chippewa Falls, WI.

Very tasty. Good portion sizes. Great steak medallions. Local meat and cheese curds. Staff was super friendly. Celebrated our anniversary and gave a tour of the historic building.

Overall I'd say 4.5/5, so we're rounding it to 5. Food was good and better than expected. We really liked the smaller portion options and wide variety of food options. My wife liked that the entrees came with grilled vegetables. We'll come back.
Matthew L — Google review
We sat for an hour and didn’t get our burger and tacos on a slow night. The bartender never made eye contact but did her best to manage the front of house. Food looked amazing on other patrons plates. The place has a really cool cozy saloon vibe though. Maybe it was just an off night. 🤷‍♂️

Distillery
Bar
Located on the picturesque banks of the Chippewa River, Chippewa River Distillery is a must-visit destination for those seeking adventure and quality spirits. The distillery prides itself on exceeding expectations by offering high-quality products that give back to the community. Visitors can enjoy a variety of spirits and beers through sampler packages while soaking in the vibrant brewery environment.
They had me at Garlic vodka! 😃 Horseradish was a close second. Everything I tried was delicious, there are so many amazing vodka flavors: Blueberry, cucumber, dill, espresso, ginger, lemon zest, strawberry, raspberry, peach, apple pie, black tea, and more!!! Also whiskey (7? flavors), schnapps, & gin (including lavender, and one can never go wrong with purple beverages). Really great service, too, and beautiful location, along Chippewa River and very close to bike/walking path. Perfect view from rooftop seating area, maybe a bald eagle or 3 meandering by. ❤️🤍💙 I also learned about "Black Cap" so stopping in was part of my continuing education journey. 📚 Bonus! 😇😇😇

First time here, this place was excellent. Great service and awesome drinks. They had something for everyone, house made cocktails and beer. I had no clue the "Trumie's" brand was made here, that's for all you vodka lovers out there.

Nice atmosphere and service. Large selection of their own liquor. Their beers are not as good in my opinion
Renee N — Google review
Number one place in the valley for Bloody Marys. Cocktails flavorful and inexpensive, recently I've been hooked on the Bucks (whiskey and ginger). The beer options are more limited but I usually find one that I like. No food here so bring your own if you like. Free Trivia on Thursdays. (pictured: Bourbon Buck)
Kevin S — Google review
I was pleasantly surprised with this local distillery. I went there to try some of the n Spirits the make and found they had a sampler package for both the spirits and beers. If you are not familiar with what they have I would recommend starting with a sampler. Prices were better than I expected and the service was good. We were on a Saturday afternoon and even with it being busy we had good service.

Gettin’ spiritual by the Chippewa River! Great service experienced here (thank you Brittany!). Tried the flight of Spirits! The Horseradish Vodka was a surprise-delightfully smooth yet still tasting like horseradish!

Great vodkas, whiskeys, and beer. We come to Chippewa Falls every year. This year we stopped in at Chippewa River Distillery, which will become a new tradition!!!! Great service, amazing people and experience. Thank you for a great afternoon...!!! Chippewa River Distillery is a must try!!!

Bloodies! Never been a big fan of them, but today I got invited with the blood crew. CRD make it easy to transition from my normal morning screwdriver. Nice day out and they have a killer patio. This is a must-stop destination if you’re in the Chippewa area. Classy place to warm up before crushing Bud heavies later at lesser establishments.

Riverfront Park

City park
Riverfront Park is a lively community spot situated along the Chippewa River. It offers various amenities such as an amphitheater for concerts, a splash pad for kids, and scenic walking paths with stunning river views. The park hosts local festivals, farmers markets, and outdoor movie nights. Visitors can also enjoy fishing spots and admire graffiti art under the bridge. It's a beautiful area for gatherings with public restrooms nearby and within walking distance of other attractions in Chippewa Falls.
Beautiful park in the middle of the city.
Shari F — Google review
A nice place to gather for a cook out(bring grill), chill with a friend, fish, take a walk, or have a wedding. Insect repellent is a must being close to the river. If the city built a nice playground, installed grills near the pavilions and around the park, placed a few more adult swings, with canopies around the grounds, off the trail . The park would probably draw the attention of more people, day and night.
Ronnie S — Google review
I come to Riverfront park quite often. It is a nice walk from the downtown area of Chippewa Falls. Very clean and the landscaping is wonderful. I love to look at the river and feel peaceful. It has an ampitheater for smaller concerts. A beautiful pavilion for outdoor activities and get togethers.

Bowling alley
Event venue
Ojibwa Golf Course & Bowling Lanes is a versatile family-friendly destination offering a 9-hole golf course and a modern 7-lane bowling alley with black lights. The facility provides an enjoyable experience for all ages, whether you're a beginner or seasoned player. The retro-themed bowling alley features spaceship battling bowling pins decor, clean Velcro-style shoes, and attentive staff. Additionally, there's a bar, restaurant, and attached pizza parlor for visitors to enjoy.
We've golfed at a lot of other courses and found the variety in the 9 holes at Ojibwa very nice. A couple of short par 3s and some longer holes. For a change, I didn't lose a single ball. It's not an easy course by any measure. Greens are very fast this week, and holes are placed such that you have to be careful and think about your puts. The terrain is nicely varied. It's definitely not just hiring a ball into an empty field, like some courses. The bar is open, helpful, and friendly. We didn't dine here, but it looks like good food. Overall, it's a very nice course.

We scheduled a birthday party here vs. the usual Action City party for one of our young girls and do not regret it. I'm sorry to say I don't recall the names of the staff, but all of them were very friendly, proactive about our wants, and very accommodating, right down to whether they wanted to eat or bowl first. Speaking of that, they gave us four of the eight lanes so the girls got a LOT of bowling in spreading them over so many lanes. When some finished earlier than others we were equally happy to learn they were given unlimited bowling for the time allotment, not just one or two games. The staff coordinated the pizzas to be finished when the bowling ended, and, if you're conditioned to Action City food you'll get this, the pizza was actually good. I really enjoyed it. Action City pizza is tasteless and basic feed for the kids, but they do a great job here. Another bonus: they have little gift bags ready for all in attendance when you arrange a birthday here, a de facto expectation for kids' birthdays these days and they have them all ready as part of the package, which we haven't gotten elsewhere. They've got a great staff here that seemed to really welcome us and enjoy our kids. Our experience here was great, and seeing their prices for bowling versus the Eau Claire bowling offerings means we will be doing our bowling here from now on. I highly recommend Ojibwa and will becoming back.

We had the fish for lunch on Friday. My mom had the fried fish and my friend and I had the baked. The baked fish came in an oval ceramic dish and was in a delicious buttery sauce with seasoning on top. Best baked fish I have ever had! The baked potatoes were large and creamy inside. The Cole slaw was some of the best I've had and we actually asked if we could have more. We sat in the bar at a table overlooking the golf course, which my mom loved being able to watch the golfers. It was a nice quiet atmosphere. They also had seating out on the deck, but the air quality was not good. The staff was friendly and attentive. Will definitely be back!!

Ojibwa Golf course is in great shape and fun to play. The staff is always pleasant and attentive. Recently on a rainy summer day, we took our grandchildren to the bowling alley at OJ. They had a blast. We've had the Friday fish fry, salads, and sandwiches. The portions are more than enough for one person and very good. Pizzas are 😋

THE WORST BK IN THE CHIPPEWA VALLEY. Today I waited 14 min for my sandwiches. Yes, I watched the clock. I go back in and there was no one around. A person in the lobby had to get someone. The cashier said it wasn’t 14 min and I said yes it was lol. I’m not going to lie. She basically called me a liar and never apologized. Here my food was sitting on the counter, not under the heat lamp. I asked for my money back. Customers will not tolerate this type of service. Then last week I waited like 5 min for my food and got to work and a sandwich was missing an egg. I called and the person , named Brett or Brent, I think manager?, was so rude. I was having a conversation and he would snidely interject and say you’re interrupting me and other snotty responses. If someone is having a conversation, it’s ok to say something when you pause. The rudest “person” ever. These people obviously hate their job. Never crack a smile, are blunt and they don’t know how to say thank you. If you are miserable, go somewhere else. You have choices in your life, no one forces you to be in customer service. Just like I have a choice in not returning. It’s obvious ownership doesn’t care nor staff.
Monica D — Google review
Absolutely disgusting service and food. Ordered the Texan whopper for husband, got home and there was 32 jalapeños on it. This was 10/25/2025 about 7 pm. I called and requested the manager and the male who answered said he was the manager, when i tried to speak i couldnt hear him properly and he became rude and belittling. The bread was stale and the bottom piece of bread was saturated and fell apart. My whopper with cheese was also stale and sloppy. Worst Burger King I've ever ate at. I won't ever return to any Burger King again. Will send email to Burger King head office as this is probably a franchise. Spent almost $40 to put in the trash.
Julie B — Google review
Not a big fan of leaving bad reviews, but the last two times I went there and ordered something without cheese it came with melted cheese on it. The first time I let it slide, things happen, and they replaced my items no charge. It happening a second time is a bit of a bummer, I was especially let down because I reminded them that I had placed the order "without cheese on anything" at the drive thru speaker. When I called to let them know, they said it was hard to tell with their new system. Maybe it is, but there's a paper that goes on the outside of the wrapper that says no cheese so personally I wasn't swayed by that argument. I kind of feel ripped off of 8 dollars.

Very good Whopper at Chippewa Falls, WI. Nice elevated place for 9 people. Everyone 's meal must have been excellent, because everyone ate everything in their meal. A bit unusual when kids are involved. Service was Tops!

I phoned and requested two pizzas from JimBob's Pizza and Grill, which was a hassle-free and transparent process. They informed me about the price and when the pizzas would be ready. As promised, I collected my order promptly, paid for it, and returned home satisfied with my purchase. The taco pizza stood out as particularly delicious, pleasing everyone who tried it. Despite being reasonably priced at $20 for two medium pizzas, they did not compromise on quality or convenience.
ridiculously good pizza and breadsticks, fantastic service, great prices

Everything turned out pretty good. The only thing I gotta say was technically bad was the wait time. It took a bit but waiting for it was good. Honestly I'd stop here again but only for like a couple of friends
SladedWolf — Google review
We ordered food for carryout and the gyro that we ordered wasn't anything Like it was advertised and when we called the women that took the order was rude and kept interrupting when I was trying to explain what the problem was and then hung up on me and when we called back to ask to speak to a manager she refuses to answer the phone. I was a waitress for 26 years and have worked in the food industry my whole life and that is not how you treat a customer. I'm not one to usually complain and or leave a review but I was left feeling completely disrespected and disappointed in everything about this place. Worst first experience ever and I will never recommend anyone to go there. Should really have different employees if you want your business to make it 👎👎👎
Brian B — Google review
Not a fan of wait on yourself and clean up your own table places like this especially when there are 10 teen agers in the kitchen. And a tip is expected for what? Making pizza i guess. If you like it no one will speak to you unless you go to the window and order. On us but we didn't see the sign and sat there for like 10 minutes waiting. Girl even wiped table next to us and didn't say a word. Pizza is good though.

We went on May 10th an hr before closing, it was Awful. The ceaser salad was the worst I've ever seen with visibility dead old leafy greens, and my sandwich, I had to go back and get the 3 ingredients they didn't bother to put on, the other sandwich well let's just say I ate mine, but everything else was thrown away, as when I went to get my forgotten ingredients, they made it clear they were closed. And so I just decided not to eat there again. I've had good food here before, but won't be wasting my money at JimBob's again..

Called and ordered 2 pizzas, easy and transparent, told us the price and when they should be ready, sure enough we got there, it was ready, we paid, brought them back and were very happy with the pizzas. The taco pizza is really good we all liked it, 2 medium pizzas were 20$ but they were a good quality and easy to get. Highly recommend for a quick choice. Also, the pizza was not greasy or cheap feeling, very pleased.

We've ordered here often and the food is always so good! You can tell they care about quality in the item itself and in how they prepare it. Their sticks, sandwiches, and fish fry are items we crave so they are a regular order place in our house. We love supporting a local business that does an excellent job at what they do!

Bar & grill
West Hill Bar & Grill is a historic bar and grill located just outside downtown Chippewa Falls, within walking distance of the city center. Established in the 1930s, it underwent a complete renovation in 2013 while retaining its historical charm. The friendly staff provides excellent service, even accommodating late arrivals with delicious hot beef sandwiches. The bar offers ice-cold Leinenkugel on tap and features a heated smoking area.
We were out for the Leinenkugels tour in November, and needed a spot to eat. We found this hidden gem in the middle of a neighborhood of all places. It looked a little dead when we arrived but after an hour or so the place was poppin. The food was really good and drinks were cheap, what more could a guy ask for? If you’re in the area check em out!

Cheese curds were perfect, ranch homemade Prices reasonable, not high, not low Philly cheese steak was best I ever had. My son has a California burger, he did not have much to say about it. Klinger's Farm Market boasts an impressive array of stunning and thriving indoor and outdoor plants, including houseplants, annuals, and perennials. The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful, offering assistance in finding desired perennial bushes straight from the delivery truck. This greenhouse stands out as one of the largest in recent memory, showcasing a wide variety of plant species such as tropicals, trees, veggies, and more. Not only is it well-organized and clean but also aesthetically pleasing.
Beautiful. Beautiful. Beautiful!!!! This greenhouse is giant sized. The prices here are wonderful. Hanging baskets that are huge are only $44! Everywhere I looked there were flowers and green plants. They all looked healthy and well cared for we asked for help from an employee and were given top-notch service. She walked us right to different options for us. And we were here after Mother’s Day, which is the busiest time of the year. Staff told us they were picked over. One would never know it! This will be our first stop next year and four years to come. My photos are not great due to snapping them quickly before I left. Most of them are taken from one location just different directions!

For the kids, new jumping pillow, easier corn maze, giant corn pit, playground with two slides, stairs up to the big tracker, with a black tube slide, animals to visit are 2 or 3 donkeys, tons of goats, llama or alpaca, cows, sheep, medium pumpkins to pick out all set out on tables, picnic tables, duck water game, outhouse outside, full indoor bathrooms in lower greenhouse area, (by the indoor fountain) When we were there October 16th, they have a lot of $10 Mums, all different colors, that all look beautiful, and the extra mile, with the associate carrying them out to customers cars! Very healthy succulents, lemon trees, and so many plant varieties that look so healthy in the greenhouse, also really nice Halloween, and Christmas decorations. Upstairs in the main store are fresh vegetables, cheeses, jams, salsas, caramel apples, apples, freshly canned veggies, candy, food, tons of drinks including fresh cider, and gorgeous sculptures to greet you.

The Chippewa Area History Center is a must-visit destination for anyone looking to explore the captivating history of Chippewa Falls and the surrounding region. This museum presents an array of engaging exhibits that delve into various aspects of local heritage, including Native American culture, the lumber industry, and significant historical events. Visitors can appreciate detailed displays featuring quotes from influential figures who shaped the area, alongside artifacts related to fur trading and military history.
A great new facility with a wide array of history from Chippewa County. Very friendly staff and volunteers. I really enjoyed my visit and will return soon for a closer look!

While intown to see family with local community ties of almost 175 years, I decided to stop for a visit. Exterior of building is beautiful. I largely enjoyed the displays, but a few area to consider improvements would be: -give guests space to absorb the atmosphere upon entry -brochure or map of displays within the building -bathroom and elevator signage -descriptions closer to & able to distinguish multiple artifacts within a single display
Ryan W — Google review
Built in 2020, this facility is large and well kept. This is a great place for kids since there are a lot of interactive exhibits and a scavenger hunt. Adults will also enjoy the variety of history from Native American culture to the fur trade to the wars. The volunteers were very kind and it was a good price for what all was inside. I would go again.
Samantha G — Google review
Beautiful building and a great start to showcasing the history of our area. Looks like there is a lot more to come!
Katie M — Google review
Great history of Chippewa Falls and the Chippewa Valley region. The way they use quotes from those who built the area adds to the already fascinating displays. Look for an extensive history on the lumber era (including tools, methods used to cut and haul trees, heavy equipment, etc.), business leaders, the Northern Wisconsin Colony (now Center), fur trading, Native Americans, the Northern Wisconsin State Fair, and our military heroes, including a nice feature about Old Abe. They have a nice gift shop and reference library also. Admission is reasonable, and parking is free.
Dennis J — Google review
Plenty to look at here and the entire family enjoyed the different historical content throughout the 5 levels. The five of us spent a couple hours here.

Beautiful new facility. Nice look at history of Chippewa Falls. Disappointed did not see any exhibits related to hunting, lots of fishing, but no hunting.

I'm super excited that this is finally open! I'm so glad that all of these wonderful collections actually have a home now. Take time to visit when you're in Chippewa Falls.

This is a wonderful store with a variety of clothes and decor treasures. Perfect time for shopping as many clothes are on sale (discounts on already reasonable prices). I can't rave enough about the collection of merchandise. Refreshing styles for young and old, not the "same old overpriced stuff. Some customers may not like the return policy (in store credit only), but as a small business, it's understandable. I don't mind if it help keeps them in business. Perfect store for this area. I am so glad I discovered this hidden gem! 🕉☮️🤩

I was shopping with a relative from our of town. We made a purchase in the morning and returned the item later the same day. Her only option was an in store credit. The credit was of no value to her and I was disappointed that you weren't willing to be flexible. We purposely came back on the same business day hoping it would be helpful.

What a great store! The owner is a sweetheart and its full of lots of fun stuff, like custom apparel, often forgotten camping items and much more. There is something for everyone at Drewmark Boutique. It's in a great location too!

Collective Charm definitely has so much charm, from the way they are friendly and communicate caringly to their customers, to the way the antique shop is set up, I could spend hours in there. Overall, this is my absolute favorite antique store I've ever been to. It's very unique, and stands out above others! I recommend to visit this antique shop, you won't regret it!

Omg. The angel behind the counter saved my life. I was having a diabetic low and she offered me a can of soda. It literally saved my life. I can't believe this place has such a wonderful person working here. Thank you SO much
Mary S — Google review
This is a wonderful place for all kinds of antiques and odds and ends. I went looking for bookshelves and found several perfect ones. The store is clean and laid out and the staff are super helpful and asked me if I needed help a few times. I also overheard them taking care of other customers and doing a great job of that. Everything is reasonably priced and there was also a few stands with crystals, cabochons, fossils, and insect specimens. Can't wait to come back!

Pizza restaurant
Nestled in the charming town of Chippewa Falls, Fill Inn Station is a beloved eatery that has transformed from a former gas station into a cozy haven for homestyle American comfort food. This long-standing neighborhood gem offers an inviting atmosphere reminiscent of simpler times, making it feel like stepping back into the 80s. Whether you're craving their renowned prime rib dinner or delicious homemade pizzas, you'll find something to satisfy your appetite at this casual spot.
Second time at Fill in station, and I was actually running late to meet my party. Luckily, the hosting staff were able to point my table out as soon as I arrived. Superb attention to detail 👌🏾! The food was excellent, and the drinks are tasty. Definitely will be stopping back in next time, I'm in downtown Chippewa Falls!
Rasheed W — Google review
We just got the pizza special which was pretty sad to be honest. We asked for double pepperoni, which was confirmed on the phone, and 2 orders of cheese curds. The curds arrived extremely overdone, and our pizza was pretty much a blob of cheese with no sauce and 1-2 pieces of pepperoni per slice. It looked amazing when initially opening the box, but the first bite quickly proved otherwise. Very disappointed.
Amber B — Google review
Came here on a Friday fish night. Good price, and lots of people taking advantage! Casual place. Fast and kind service. Looks like the bar is also a fun place to hang out! And they had a few grab games with a bunch of packers swag!
Lee K — Google review
Our meal started out not being enjoyable because of how noisy it was because of people at the bar. We were regretting not getting a table outside. The seventies decorations just bounced the sound throughout the room. After a while a group of people left the bar and then it was quiet enough to be able to comfortably talk. When our food came out it looked good, but ended up being bland. The burger patties were tasty unfortunately the rest of the burger was bland and didn't enhance the flavor of the patty. The fries also were unflavorful, they reminded me of frozen fries that you bake in your oven.
Lee M — Google review
Prime rib dinner is one of the best in the areas, and at $22.99 (currently), the price is hard to beat. Come early, as close to 4 pm as possible, to ensure they don't sell out of prime rib. Also, well known for their homemade pizzas.
Nate L — Google review
Good service. Friendly staff. Food was good. I had the BLT and sweet potato fries. Tags had the fish tacos. I had a bloody Mary. The bloody was very good! I will come again for one of those!
Delores K — Google review
Was greeted when we came in . It was clean. Service was great. Cheese curds bloody marys were great. Got very busy and they had to call in more help. Would come back again.
Chris K — Google review
We always love coming here. The best cheesecurds! I wish they didn't use clamato in their bloody marys or had another mix option [per allergy] as they looked really good.

This family-run establishment prides itself on delivering delicious food, with favorites like Eggs Benedict and California Skillet. The restaurant also offers a variety of fish options, including baked fish, Walleye, and a regular Friday fish fry. Customers rave about the friendly and knowledgeable staff as well as the tasty cheese curds and fried chicken.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at this wonderful establishment, and I can't praise it enough! The sandwiches with gravy were absolutely delicious—packed with flavor and perfectly satisfying. But what truly made the experience unforgettable was the kindness and warmth of the waitress and the owners. Their hospitality turned a great meal into a memorable evening. And the generous portions? They were so abundant that I enjoyed them again the next day for lunch! If you're looking for a place that combines great food with genuine hospitality, this is it. Highly recommended!

My husband and I stopped in here for breakfast. It’s a family restaurant and had that style of atmosphere. They have fresh squeezed OJ and it was delicious. (The machine was right there when you walk in so you know they are squeezing their own.) We both got a skillet and they were very tasty. My only comment would be to have the shredded hash browns crispier. I got a cinnamon roll and it was SO good. I had to stop myself from eating the whole thing. Service was quick and good. Would def recommend for breakfast.

It's traveling day, and we stopped in Chippewa Falls for breakfast. Great place with good food and coffee. Hubby ordered the Country omelet, and it came with hashbrowns and toast. I ordered the smaller ham and cheese omelet, which also came with hashbrowns and toast. Nice portion size on both and very delicious. Our server was very attentive.

Good food and reasonably priced. Service was a little on the shower side but was still decent. Only had to wait for coffee refills for a bit. And, server kept forgetting things. I believe they may have been newer so no shade there. I'm sure they'll continue to learn and will do better in the future. Go early for breakfast or be ready to wait.

Bresina's Hometown Bar & Grill is a delightful spot that families adore! With ample seating for larger groups, it’s perfect for gatherings of all sizes. The staff is exceptionally welcoming, especially to little ones, ensuring everyone feels at home even during the busiest times. Diners rave about the hot and delicious food served promptly; favorites include the Friday fish fry and mouthwatering burgers that leave kids asking for more.
My family loves going here!! The place has many tables big enough to accommodate our family (family of 7) but also the service staff is so kind to my kids. Even on their busiest, most stressful nights they never look at us like a burden. Our food always comes out hot, timely and yummy. My husband loves the Friday fish fry while my kids can’t get enough chicken and burgers. Great place! I love the root beer and onion rings.

Service was top notch! Definitely the highlight. The food was very good for the price. Cheap good comfort food. We got the two fish dinners with an extra fish and it was 36 dollars. My baked fish was a little dry but still very good. The staff was definitely exceptionally friendly and welcoming to out of towners like my husband and I.
Anna S — Google review
We are regulars for their burger night because they are delicious. They accommodated a funeral dinner at the last minute. Food is good. I don't like a few of the changes they have made recently but will give them time to work out the kinks.
Angela M — Google review
Food look and smelt great. We were there only to have a couple drinks. The bartender was very friendly and overall. The atmosphere was very nice. Looking at the menu we will certainly be back to try some of the food.
Ken S — Google review
It was my first time there. Everyone was friendly. Unfortunately they didn't have anything available to eat that didn't have pork in it. I asked the bartender and she checked. I cant eat there, and niether can the rest of the Jewish, Muslim or certain christian communities. I hope they fix that soon. It does look like a nice place though.
Anthony L — Google review
It has gone downhill. They made the deep fried fish quite a bit smaller, and the baked fish was overcooked and dry. The service isn't as friendly as it used to be. We didn't even get a thank you when we left.
