State park
Nature & Parks
Campground
Devil's Lake State Park is a vast recreational area that features a 360-acre lake, sandy beaches, campgrounds, and food stands. Visitors can enjoy scenic hikes around the lake on rocky paths or climb up for breathtaking views of the stunning blue-green waters. The park is also pet-friendly but requires dogs to be leashed at all times. In addition to outdoor activities, visitors can challenge their minds with riddle-solving in escape rooms located nearby.
What a view? The view from the top of the cliff was absolutely stunning. There is a Trail that takes you all the way to the top where you can see the entire lake. When you enter the park, the admission fee is $16. You can enter and exit the park as long as you have the ticket on the dashboard. You can enjoy the lake using the paddleboard, canoes or kayaks. There is a fee for that and I believe it’s $38 for a ride. There is a visitor center and a nice big store where you can buy merchandise. Best times to go is June and July because the weather is nice and warm. Besides enjoying the lake, you can explore the trails take nature walks or simply sit and read a book by the lake. When I went there a few days back I was surprised to see how clean the area was, and the breathtaking views of the Devil lake. So if you haven’t visited this place yet, I feel you should put this as your bucket list and make sure to visit this place as soon as you get a chance! 😃

Devil's lake state park has something for everyone. The incredible and rocky skyline is perfect for those looking to challenge the peaks with either hiking or climbing. The placid waters of the lake are wonderful for swimming or kayaking. The deep and tranquil forests are wonderful for peaceful walks and adventurous treks. When not being active the park also hosts some great spots for camping, with a variety of both wooded and open sites. The park is additionally quite well maintained. Roads and trails are generally in good condition. The bathrooms are a bit more hit and miss, with some being quite clean and moderns, while others lag a bit behind. The distinction is easy to spot from the road for what that's worth. All in all, a great nature area for adventures of all kinds and memories waiting to be made.

Dangerous... but fun? 😂 This hike is not for the feint of heart. We decided to do the climb the hard way which consists of essentially climbing the side of a mountain that does not contain any sort of railings or protective measures. We saw multiple slip and almost lose footing...ourselves included. Many people with children of all ages including infants. The hike is quite strenuous depending on how you go about it. Bring drinks, snacks, and hope. 😂 There aren't any staff on the mountain whatsoever so you do need to have an honest conversation with yourself beforehand about whether or not you want to risk it for the biscuit or not. One hiker almost fell off the side of the cliff while we were hiking and was thankfully caught by nearby trees and then brought to safety. I know this review is all over the place but this is honestly what happened lol. The park overall is beautiful and a stunning presentation of nature... you just need to be prepared and wear GOOD hiking shoes. Cost for a pass is not expensive either. We would probably do it again, we just wouldn't choose the side mountain climb and would most likely go the long way up which is much safer.

We were only going to come for the morning but wound up spending the whole day. It was windy but when you were on the forest trail it was fine. The more adventurous in our group went up the east bluff trail, going up was easier then the trail down. We ate lunch at the onsite restaurant but wished we would have packed a picnic lunch like others had. We spent the afternoon by the lake and exploring the beach.
J H — Google review
Beautiful park to visit. Hiking was enjoyable, however, I recommend hiking in a counterclockwise direction when choosing trails, as there are two trails that are basically 1/3 of a mile of nothing but steps, which can be quite difficult if going clockwise.
Eric B — Google review
Beautiful place! Get to the parking lot by 9 am on a Sunday! And hope you don't need the bathroom until after the cleaning through is done. Blah! The gift shop/concessions open at 10 am. Both beaches became packed very quickly. The hikes are amazing but don't underestimate the climb or over estimate yourself. You don't need to be a pro, but hiking shoes, walking stick and lots of water is highly recommended! I didn't camp, just visited for the day.

We came...We saw....We hiked....We napped. This place will test your fitness level Just returned from an incredible day at Devil's Lake State Park, and I can't recommend this place enough! If you're looking for stunning natural beauty and rewarding hiking challenges, this is absolutely the place to go. The Experience We decided to tackle the full experience - hiking around the entire lake and climbing to the top of both the East and West Bluffs. What an adventure! The lake loop trail is about 3.3 miles and offers beautiful water views throughout, with the massive quartzite bluffs towering above you as you walk. The Bluff Climbs The real highlights were definitely the bluff climbs. Both the East and West Bluff trails are steep and rocky - definitely a workout! - but the payoff is absolutely worth every step. The views from the top are simply breathtaking. You get panoramic vistas of the lake below, the surrounding forests, and on a clear day, you can see for miles across the Wisconsin countryside. What Made It Special The scenery: The contrast between the deep blue lake and the ancient quartzite cliffs is stunning The challenge: The rocky, steep trails really make you feel accomplished when you reach the summit The views: 360-degree views that are perfect for photos and just taking in the natural beauty The variety: Each bluff offers a different perspective and hiking experience Tips for Future Visitors Wear good hiking boots - the rocky terrain can be challenging. Bring plenty of water, especially if you're doing both bluffs like we did. The trails are well-marked, and there are several route options depending on your fitness level. This was truly an amazing experience that showcased some of Wisconsin's most beautiful natural scenery. Devil's Lake State Park has definitely earned a spot on our list of favorite hiking destinations. We'll absolutely be back! Highly recommended for anyone who loves hiking, nature photography, or just wants to experience some of Wisconsin's most spectacular views.
William B — Google review
This is one of the best places I have ever hiked! Amazing and breathtaking, I dont know a person who would not love those trails. Amazing atmosphere and breathtaking views! After I hiked took a railroad path back and there was a very nice people singing as the pinnacle on the wonderful day 🎵

Driftless Glen Distillery is a renowned craft distillery and restaurant located in Baraboo, offering an upscale dining experience alongside their own house-brewed spirits. The distillery, nestled along the scenic Baraboo River, prides itself on using Midwest grain and water from the Driftless Area to create a range of award-winning spirits, including their flagship Bourbon Whiskey.
We really enjoyed the tour. The guide was informative and we got to see most of the process from production to barrel aging. It was also an opportunity to try a bunch of different spirits that I really have only tried mixed in cocktails previously. We also had some old-fashioneds and an appetizer in the bar area. Great service there. The drinks were fantastic and the jalapeno chicken flatbread was amazing.

Wow! What a great vibe to this place! Didn’t have time for a bite but if the chow is as good as their spirits, it’s a winner also. Friendly staff, great outdoor seating area along the river. Just a wonderful place. Great bourbons!!

Made the visit on Aug 14th around 11am. Bourbons were fantastic. What was more great is that they would let you sample some bourbons as well. Both Bartenders were great. I need to come black and pick some more bottles up. Purchased a rye 51 that day

Came here after hiking at Devil's Lake on a beautiful fall afternoon. My husband and I have been here previously to do the bourbon tasting and tour which was great. Today we enjoyed a late lunch on the beautiful patio with views of the Baraboo River. We were with my husband's siblings and spouses and all enjoyed our meals. Two in our family are very picky eaters and loved their food. We enjoyed the gin steamed mussels, miso pork belly tacos, jumbo lump crab cakes, ginger soy tuna salad, ribeye crostini and the heirloom tomato steak salad. We were too early to be able to order from the dinner menu but found plenty of options as you can see that were all delicious. Plus the bourbon flights were very reasonably priced. We will definitely be back the next time we are in this area. I only remembered to take a picture of two of our meals unfortunately, they were all plated beautifully.

My fiance (now wife) and I had our wedding at Driftless Glen after years of being occasional dinner customers. Could not have had a more amazing experience. After an unfortunate situation with our original venue we had only 43 days to find a new venue and Driftless Glen made it all happen. The General Manager Scott is a rock star. His staff are amazing. The food was spectacular. The entire operation from top to bottom is first class. We feel blessed and being able to return frequently for dinner and anniversaries is going to be a cherished tradition. Words cannot express the depth of our appreciation. Thank-you!
Nik C — Google review
Excellent dining experience and atmosphere. Our server was very knowledgeable and hospitable. To start, we had warm dinner rolls with olive oil and vinegrette and the delicious crab cakes appetizer. I had an Espress-yo-self martini for my drink and the balsamic portobello entree for my meal. I loved every bite. Unfortunately, I was not able to save room for any dessert, so the next time I go back, I'll just have to order dessert first! This place is a bit pricey but it's very worthwhile for a special occasion.
Dee E — Google review
What a great experience! The food was unforgettable - wife had the shrimp and grits, I had the pork chops, and we shared the ribeye crostini. All were out of this world. I had a spirit flight, which included both 10 year bourbon and rye along with the wheated. Fantastic! Our amazing meal was made exponentially better by our server Camila. Can't wait to visit again!
Jason S — Google review
We love the service and the healthy options on the menu. Tonight we enjoyed the salmon with asparagus and cauliflower mash. And the steak salad with heirloom tomatoes, blue cheese and balsamic glaze. Wow! Always a great place. A in the warmer weather, we love sitting on the deck overlooking the river with the swans.

Diner
Breakfast restaurant
Catering food and drink supplier
Broadway Diner is a classic American eatery located in Baraboo, Wisconsin. Housed in a meticulously restored 1954 Silk City Diner, it exudes a nostalgic retro vibe. Originally crafted by the Paterson Vehicle Company, the diner was lovingly refurbished by Vonnie and Jeff, who reopened its doors as a full-service restaurant in 2012. In addition to serving familiar comfort food staples for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, Broadway Diner also offers catering services.
Breakfast was BOMB, check this place out the servers are amazingly nice and the food is great, cute tiny space up front with more seating towards the back !
Erica F — Google review
First time here. We were on our way to the Dells and hungry for some breakfast. The place has a nice retro feel to it. The stainless steel diner has been well cared for and updated enough to make it more comfortable for staff and customers. There are some tables out front and two different seating areas inside (it's bigger than it looks). All the cooking is done behind the counter, where you can see it all happening. It can be a bit noisy as the metal spatulas hit the grill, but you can still have a reasonable conversation. It's a busy place, and the servers are efficient, with a no nonsense approach to taking your orders. The menu is large, with lots of traditional favorites (no avocado toast here). There were two pages of breakfast items, and it was a tough decision. We ordered a number of different items: corned beef hash, pancakes, and potato pancakes with eggs and sausage. It did not take very long to get our food. Very good portions, everything was plenty hot, and all flavorful. Everyone was happy with their choices. The corned beef hash was not the kind you get from a can. It was large, fresh pieces. The pork sausages were plump and well seasoned. The poached eggs were perfect. My only complaint: I ordered my potato pancakes extra crispy, but they didn't seem "extra" to me (extra extra crispy next time). The regular pancakes were good, but not fluffy enough to be "excellent". A very nice place for breakfast, and somewhere we would return to.
Scott W — Google review
Everything we ordered had such a home cooked meal vibe to it. From milkshakes to entrees, everything was fantastic. I definitely recommend the Chicken Biscuits.
Ashley — Google review
Decided to have brunch at 12 noon and there was a small queue of around 6 people. Service was quick and everything got served in 10mins. I ordered the Prime Benedict from their specials menu board which was really good especially if you prefer something else other than ham in your Benedicts. Definitely will come back for their other dishes.
Earl G — Google review
Adorable retro diner with great food, cozy atmosphere, reasonable prices, and fast and friendly staff. A must-stop for weary travellers, hungry locals, and good food lovers.
Samantha S — Google review
I would have given this place 5 stars, but unfortunately, I found both a long and a short hair in my omelet towards the end of my meal. The food was delicious up until that point, and I was really enjoying it. I brought it to the waitress's attention, and while she assured me she would inform the kitchen, we didn’t receive an apology or any offer of compensation. The service was decent—nothing extraordinary—but overall, the food is still tasty. I hope this was just a one-time issue, as I’d love to return if things improve.
Deneb A — Google review
The food was great made quickly and worth the price. The staff was on top of things and was nice when my daughter spilled her drink. It is really more conducive for smaller groups cause of the way it is laid out. The only complaint I have is that we sat at the counter and now my kids want me to buy chairs like they have at the counter cause they had so much fun spinning!
Leah R — Google review
GO HERE!!! Seriously. Do yourself a favor and have breakfast here. It’s absolutely phenomenal on every single level. The quality of the food is ridiculous - everything tastes scratch-made. Corned beef hash is legit - huge chunks of brined brisket with fresh cut new potatoes and delicious onion. Not at all greasy and perfectly seasoned. It’s the absolute real deal. Sawmill gravy is to die for. It’s god-tier delicious, and this is coming from a guy who doesn’t really like gravy. It’s packed with flavor and has a perfect texture. Get it as a side. Bathe in it. It’s that good. Eggs and bacon? Insanity. The thick cut bacon has a hint of sweetness and just the right amount of smoky goodness. It’s roasted to absolute perfection. The breads? Homemade. Ugh. They just do everything right here. Service was fantastic and the pricing was super reasonable. If I lived closer, I’d be here every single day. Baraboo - you have an absolute gem of a diner. I’m envious!

Culver's is a fast-food chain that specializes in frozen custard and unique burgers made with Midwest beef and dairy. The Culvers of West Baraboo, a locally-owned and operated restaurant, offers fresh signature burgers, handcrafted ice creams, desserts, and delicious frozen custard. This particular location provides the true Culver's experience with high food quality, excellent service, and cleanliness.
Culver's is the greatest fast food/comfort food restaurant of all time. Everything is made fresh, and the service is always great.

Ordered pub burger with sauce on the side. Should have known the food was gonna be terrible just by the interaction I had with the rude window woman. Absolutely repulsive food. Half cooked meat and half melted cheese on a stale crushed bun And forgot the sauce. Should have checked before I left the drive through. Instead I got back to work and realized and just through the burger away and went back to work hungry.
Brandon L — Google review
Burger was smushed like they do McDonald’s burgers and I really like going to Culver’s because they’re not usually like this. As well as the amount of mayo added to it, it had my bottom bun mushy and just too much.
Em S — Google review
Just got the "New" spicy chicken. And it sucks compared to their old one. My wife and I got these like twice a week, but not anymore. Sorry, Culver's, but you shouldn't of made the change in my opinion.

I’ve been coming here for about 3 years now, and i have never been disappointed with anything at all! The food is always hot and fresh and the tables are always very clean, and the staff there are so nice and make me feel welcomed 5/5 would 100% come again

Nestled in the charming town of Baraboo, Draft City Self-Pour Taproom & Eatery is a modern gem that promises an unforgettable experience for beverage enthusiasts. With over 30 self-serve taps featuring a diverse selection of beers, wines, ciders, and cocktails, this spot allows you to curate your own tasting adventure. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with staff members who are not only knowledgeable but also genuinely passionate about their offerings.
Wonderful place! Once explained how things went by the host Brook. She kind and courteous and extremely helpful. The entree was very good, Nashville Hot wings and Hop & Barrel Butter Beer Hard Seltzer was a surprising pairing but very good.

Fun little place to hang out. They have a nice selection of self pour beers, mixed drinks and wines. We had lunch here and everyone was happy with their food. We liked it here so much we returned later that same evening for drinks and to hangout. There are dart boards and slot machines to help keep you entertained. The hostess was very friendly even though she made fun of me for not being able to figure out the ATM 😁. We had a lot of fun and will definitely return the next time we are in town.

Really great place to go for drinks and just hang out for a bit. Large variety of taps to choose from. Fun idea of being able to self pour. They have a few slot machines and dart boards. The food is mediocre. Go for drinks, not food. Appetizers possibly? The pretzels were really good but not worth the price. The panini's were dry and lacked flavor. Brussel sprouts were pretty good. Large portions.
Jessica H — Google review
The food here was absolutely amazing! I am gluten free, and I was excited to try the food here, and happy that I had plenty of options! Our whole pqrty had a great time. We had the Fire Roasted Corn Dip with Tortilla Chips to share. They were fantastic! Then, I had the Pulled Pork Sammie, and it was absolutely delicious! The flavor combo on the sammie was next level flavor, and I cannot wait to be back again!

We grabbed some takeout last night from draft City and it was fantastic! We came a little early to check out the tap selection which was vast and a really fun experience. The staff member we interacted with was super helpful and friendly. They had a guitarist playing in the corner and although the music was a bit loud, he was pretty amazing. I could have sat and listened to his Pink Floyd covers all day. I immediately had to put on "Time" on my way home. The food was well done, fresh and very tasty. We will be back!
Angie B — Google review
A great place to sample and try food. Easy to park place with plenty of spaces right on the cross section. They have beers, seltzers, wine and cocktails all on tap changing regularly, pay by the ounce and self pour. A little steep on prices but there is free soda and water as you serve yourself. Great for groups and they have a mug club.
Thisis H — Google review
Went back a week later on a Saturday, still amazing and have hooked 2 more people on their hand tossed crust! 😋 Sunday visit so Packers and other NFL games were on the many TVs. Fantastic self pour options including wine, mix cocktails (bloody Mary was nice and peppery), and many beers including make your own flights. 🍺 The pinsa style, hand tossed crust is amazing! BBQ bacon ranch and spicy chicken were huge hits. 1 pizza can feed 4 adults, so plan for leftovers. 😋🍕

I am not familiar with Baraboo, so I randomly chose Zeman's Old Highway House for a meal with a friend before my tattoo appointment. Upon arrival, I discovered that the restaurant had only been open since February and their menu was quite limited, possibly temporarily. However, I noticed that they now offer a Friday fish fry option. For my meal, I opted for the grilled chicken sandwich which was served with lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles and mayo on the side.
I visited this establishment to furnish my lady companion with a beefsteak. We were not disappointed. Service was on point. Portions were decently large. Quality was excellent. I do wish that I had availed myself of the salad bar. Perhaps next time.
Brent G — Google review
Stopped in on our way up North! The place was packed! It was a Friday night so of course we tried the fish fry! We tried the combo plate, 2 pieces of breaded cod, 2 breaded shrimp, we opted for the sidewinder fries. The fish was good, the breading ok. The shrimp were severely overcooked. The sidewinder fries were excellent. We also tried the stuffed shrimp. There were 5 large shrimp with a mushroom duxelle and crab stuffing topped with hollandaise sauce and melted cheese. Neither of us cared for these, I was looking for a more crab forward filling, they were definitely kind of wet. We opted to get the salad bar as well, typical WI salad bar, delicious. We tried the fried Brussel sprout appetizer which came with a horseradish sauce, these were pretty good. The dinner rolls were soft, fresh and very good. Our server was phenomenal. The bus girl on top of things like clearing plates, getting drink refills and bringing boxes. It is VERY VERY VERY LOUD, great for a bar, not as great for dinner. The bathrooms are by the front door and although they were clean they keep the doors open, kind of uncomfortable as it is b the front door. We would probably try this place again as they have quite a menu, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to eat here again.
Jennifer H — Google review
Enjoyed our meal. A meat and fish restaurant. Nice atmosphere. Felt like you eating at a table in your home. Good service. They were busy so we waited a little long for our food. The mixed drinks were good and an extremely fair priced. I had the wild mushroom ravioli. My dinner mates had Marsala chicken (she wished it had a little more sauce on it and Ruben sandwich with fries. Not many choices for vegetarians. The one they had was excellent. We will go there again. I thought the salad was very pretty.

Second time here on purpose. Last month we happened in at dinner on prime rib night. Excellent! Today we enjoyed patty melt lunch served by Diane. Excellent!

Had the Worse brisket sandwich I’ve ever had at the Sauk fair today! It was so dry and chunky, bbq couldn’t save it. The coleslaw I had was very good.
Bradley S — Google review
The food was decent but when I asked about the mashed potatoes, I was informed they weren't made in house. Weird. We ordered deep fried pickles, they came out half burnt and French fry size. My son and I had the Cod and it was okay. The dinner rolls tasted store bought and old. The service was okay but when you have 2 servers trying to service the whole restaurant, its not easy. The reason for the 3 stars is because my son and I are allergic to dogs. After we arrived we both started sneezing and our nose was running. I started to have a hard time breathing. We didnt realize why until the table next to us got up and left. They had a Dog at there table. Not a service dog but an emotional support dog, which shouldn't be allowed in the restaurant. If your going to allow dogs at least let the other customers know the dog is there. Some of us can have severe reactions to dogs. I did say something to the host and her response was " I have 2 dogs, and you didnt tell me your allergic" why would I, Im not expecting a dog in your tiny restaurant.

Bakery
Neat-O's Bake Shoppe is a must-visit in Baraboo, WI. The bakery offers a delightful selection of treats, including honey buns and creatively crafted confections. Customers rave about the wedding cakes, with one featuring almond cake with chocolate ganache and cream cheese frosting that held up beautifully at an outdoor June wedding. Another standout creation was a cheesecake and chocolate layer cake surrounded by peanut butter buttercream frosting.
This bakery is a delightful gem in Baraboo offering a cozy atmosphere and an array of delicious treats. From the moment you walk in, the aroma of freshly baked goods fills the air, creating an inviting ambiance. The selection is impressive, ranging from classic pastries and artisan breads to creative cakes and cookies. Their croissants are perfectly flaky, and the muffins are always moist and flavorful. The standout for me is their signature chocolate cake, which is rich and decadent without being overly sweet. The staff is friendly and always ready to recommend their favorites or help with special orders. It’s clear that they take pride in their craft, as each item is beautifully presented and made with high-quality ingredients. Whether you’re looking for a quick coffee and pastry or planning a special event, Sweet Crumbs Bakery is a fantastic choice. Their commitment to quality and customer satisfaction makes it a beloved spot in the community.

Our entire experience from cake tasting for our wedding to cake delivery was great! I think the best part was the owners mom. She was the sweetest lady and we loved talking to her and her husband! The cake was so delicious and flavorful and really beautiful. Such a cute place.

Hats off to Neat-O's Bake Shoppe. I left a message Thursday after hours to see if they were able to make a dozen bee themed donuts for a birthday party and have it ready for pickup on Saturday. I got a call Friday saying they were able to accommodate my request. I stopped by Saturday and they were perfect! Thanks to the staff for making my daughter's birthday a little more special! I've uploaded a picture of some of the donuts.

We had a cookie and a donut from here, and they were both delicious! The employees were very friendly, and it was a great atmosphere. We look forward to going back and trying something else soon. We recommend this bakery!

If you want some of the best desserts you've ever had in the Sauk/Columbia area, you go to Neat-O's. Not only have we had them for our wedding (which was a fantastic process from cake tasting to first cupcake bites), we continue to refer to them for any party or event services that we've had: birthdays, parties, just because. They have the best buttercream frosting I've ever had! We can't wait to go back to Neat-O's for our wedding anniversary and get another cake for the day!

Best bakery in the area! Highly recommend the apple fritters- get there early before they're gone. We've sampled a little of everything and it's all delicious, homemade baked goods. One of a kind- you must stop in!

Came to the dells on vacation. Drove here on Monday for donuts and had to come back Friday to restock. Something for everyone! Delicious!

Ordered wedding cake and sheet cakes for guests. Sheet cakes were STELLAR. Couples' cake was dry, but Neato's has reached out to make it right (not necessary, but super kind). Staff in the shop were really helpful! Best prices in area for wedding cakes. Would strongly recommend. Changing review to a 5- they reached out to ask about our couples' cake which was super kind.

Bar & grill
The Downtowner Bar & Grill is a historic establishment located in a building dating back to 1900. It offers a diverse menu featuring high-quality burgers, including unique options like the pepper cheese burger. The venue also serves hot and crispy "tots" and well-seasoned onion rings. Guests can enjoy watching their food being prepared from the bar area. In addition to its food offerings, the bar is known for its outstanding whiskey old fashioned and ice-cold beverages.
Been here now 5 times in last 6 weeks bringing friends from all over. Everyone says the same -- a comfortable and friendly place to chill and enjoy others company and maybe a football game. Sabrina is the best! Extremely friendly and fun, and fantastic game day specials served in iced, frosty mugs! 😋🍺
Bikes W — Google review
The Downtowner has been a favorite for many years! Love the old-style curved bar and the local feel. The service has always been stellar, fast, and friendly. The burgers are fabulous but my go-to is the Philly cheesesteak sandwich with bar fries! Mmmmmm! It’s so big you can split it with a friend! Add a Bloody Mary with a beer chaser and you’re all set!
Charles-Teresa W — Google review
I felt very unwelcome. Like only the regulars are allowed to come in there. The bartender seemed to have a problem with my friend and I, maybe because my friend suffered a traumatic brain injury and acts a little different? But we weren't allowed to order drinks until we sat down. My friend liked his garlic bomb burger but my plain (I specifically requested this) bacon cheeseburger was so over seasoned I almost gagged at the first bite. But the atmosphere was quiet when we first got there and there were a lot of cool pictures on the wall. I'm only reading two stars because my friend liked his food. We will never be going back.
Monica L — Google review
There's nothing like a great burger and if that's what you're craving, the Downtowner is the place to go! I try a different type of burger each time I go there and I've never been disappointed. This one was a pepper cheese burger. They use the highest quality meat available and they'll cook it to order. I had the "tots" and they were hot, crispy and well seasoned. I also had a whiskey old fashioned which was outstanding. Can't beat the prices either. A great way to treat yourself in a true Wisconsin tavern environment.

I've been coming here for years!! I always enjoy my meal and they have Mohawk! (Ginger brandy) definitely recommend. On Thursdays they they have a special burger with special sauce that's different every week. I'll be going back to try the next one!

Hello friends, I personally don't gamble, but my lovely wife does and she won a few extra hundred today. She's happy and that generally makes me happy too. We had a good time there. I think I'm going to learn how to play craps. They also have card tables. If you come I believe you will have a good time. Your review guy Christopher

The resort has been downhill all summer, it’s hard to get through on the phones to book a room. Several phone calls to get through (some days it just goes to voicemail and everytime) for booking, the pool has been broken/shut down all summer and the hot tubs are both too hot for anyone to sit in (hence why the area is empty all the time). Disappointing that the resort part of the casino has been lacking and they are still charging $250/night on the weekends. So better
Amanda V — Google review
We have been coming to Ho-chunk Casino for years. It is large, has a great mix of slot machines, and many table games, both electronic and personal. There are drink stations serving coffee and soda, as well as a full service bar. They have a nice food selection for all tastes. The pool area is enclosed and beautiful. It has a pool, a hot tub the size of a pool and a smaller hot tub, as well as a sauna. They also have a large well-kept campground with full hookups and a shower house/toilet on premises. The hotel is also very nice, older but very clean and the rooms are well appointed. We love it here and you will, too!
Leigh M — Google review
The Hotel is expensive but the rooms are nice, comfortable and clean. Ive been coming here every year since 2002. I don’t know whats going on here but It seems like this place is slowly shutting down. For a Friday and Saturday night the place was kinda dead. I remember back in the day this place being packed and vibrant. Personally I feel that Marketing is almost nonexistent. The promotions are laughable, the website is boring. The rewards are an insult. The slots are very, very tight. The table minimums are $15. The food is expensive and close early anyway. What happened to celebrating holidays with us? Like the Halloween costume contest. The spooky decorations. The halloween themed entertainment. I remember looking forward to coming here. But every year for the past 5 or so years leave’s me feeling like blahh. We just kinda come back cuz thats what we do every year ( we used to com multiple times a year) Come to the dells for daytime fun, then hang out at HoChunk But it’s starting to feel like a chore and getting old, just like most of their loyal guests. I leave feeling broke, bored and unsatisfied. Not really looking forward to coming back. What a shame. We used to have so much fun here.

Great resort very spacious rooms with a balcony only downside is the parking is a bit of a walk but that’s expected at a property such as this. Great hotel and resort

Went and saw a concert, that was fun. I donated $20 to them and was it for me. Ate some food at their Mexican restaurant, that was okay.
Melissa B — Google review
Great place to stay and play. My only negative was that the food closes too early. There is only one late night option, Mexican restaurant. Personally I have seen other late night options at other casinos that include snack type options. Staff were friendly at check in and there were plenty of slots and table games to choose from.

We drive from Middleton to this mall about every other month to see the vendor booths switched up for seasons and holidays. The ladies at the desk are so lovely. Always grateful to see us and quite chatty. I can't share all of my finds with you on this trip as we found gifts for all our friends and family. Plan to spend a minimum of an hour as it takes time to get through all the booths as well as 3 buildings.

You could spend hours here, they have an amazing collection of vendors with infinite choices of gifts, artwork of many types. The woman I walked out with remarked what incredible talent the artists and makers have. Prepare to be amazed at the selection and ingenuity! Well stocked. You could get all your shopping and decorating done here. people will be so pleased at the thoughtfulness of a handmade gift! Well worth the trip. Highly recommended.

Way more than I expected in here with honestly such a great variety of items. Obviously you’re always going to have some candles (some defintley smelled better than others) but there was woodwork, butterflies, candles, metalwork, paintings and so much more!! There’s also metal yard sculptures outside, reasonably priced to be honest
Brittany — Google review
Love this place. Only spent one hour and didn't get to browse all vendors due to my own constraints. Plan for 90 to 120 minutes of you like to take it all in!

Very nice. Could spend hours here. There is even a little cafe & winery!

Really awesome store, a must see! Huge variety of stuff to purchase, you'll find something for everyone here. The only bad thing to say is customer service was lacking. Purchased a lamp for over $100 and when I asked if it could be wrapped I got an eye roll and an audible sigh and she said, "this is all I can do".

I like to stop by this Craft Mall when I'm in The Dells. There is a lot of nice things for inside and out of the home at a good price. I like that the products are all set out in what looks like 10 ft sections without the vendors sitting there so I can shop and browse in peace. Just bring what you want to the counter. It's nice. Fairly large. Very clean and organized. There's someone out front making chainsaw carvings of bears, eagles and other things. Another making outdoor chairs, and patio furniture.

The Outlets at the Dells is a popular shopping destination with an enclosed layout that provides convenience during inclement weather. Unlike other outlet malls, it boasts a diverse selection of brand-name and designer stores that cater to various age groups and interests. The mall's single-level design makes it accessible for individuals with strollers or wheelchairs.
Many great stores. We went during Christmas time and was decorated very pretty. There was a roof over the walkways and some heaters. A great shopping experience.

I love to shop so it’s no surprise I loved the outlets! There were so many amazing stores ranging from clothing stores (like old navy) to trinket stores (like popcon) to activity stores (like build a bear and those little animals you can ride around). I got a bunch of different Asian snacks to try out at Popcon and some candied popcorn. I definitely want to go again!!!

Clean and Great experience outdoor mall for all ages. Nice layout and easy to navigate. Offers fashion options for clothes, shoes, home decor, electronics, toys, sweets, delicious snacks and much more. We enjoyed our shopping and the popcorns.

We went on a 90°+ humid day, but the covered walkway made it very tolerable. A very nice shopping experience despite the heat, as the stores were all nicely air conditioned too. Lots of good deals! Would definitely go back.
Missy M — Google review
It was nice & what I expect at outlets. The bathrooms were SO nice. They feel much more private than typical stalls. They're totally enclosed besides above and below the doors. I enjoyed walking through the stores. I do feel like things were not great deals there, but I definitely came across things I would buy if we weren't on a motorcycle. I recommend stopping here if you want a fun shopping trip. They also have plenty of seating between stores.
Trisha S — Google review
If you don't mind walking or have a motorized wheelchair this is a great place to go to shop at many different stores all at one location. Plus you get to enjoy being outside so dress warm for this time of the year. I stopped at GNC & had excellent customer service. Also stopped at Five Below & not all items are below five dollars but they do have decent prices. They have some electronics, toys, stuffed animals, makeup, candy,& etc. Come checkout these places

Outlet at the Dells has a good variety of stores and the layout makes browsing easy. Parking is convenient, the walkways are clean, and it doesn’t feel overcrowded even on busy days, making shopping more enjoyable. Tbh it's also just a vibe to just walk and look at things with some friends.

Very nice setup it's outdoor walking but it's covered so you don't get rained on or anything nice breeze that flows through. I recommend stopping by the Fudery fudge shop, they make the fudge there and it is soo delicious. I got the salted caramel fudge piece if I remember right and it taste amazing.

Shout out to this five star five guys crew! I’m in WisDells for work and live a keto life. There’s not much or exciting to eat but I saw they do a lettuce wrap burger. I don’t think I’ve ever had five guys before but this was awesome!!

Delicuous as always. Fries were amazing and the burger was very juicy. Loved it! The only reason I'm not rating it 5 stars was because my bun was burnt. But I'm not complaining because they were crazy busy when we were there. Good job Five Guys!

Five Guys! I was a little surprised by the price $20 for two people, not sure if it’s that high everywhere or just higher prices due to location. We got 2 burgers, 2 fries, and 2 drinks. But everything was fantastic! Service was a little slow but they were busy and it wasn’t unreasonable. Tables were a little messy but it was peanut dustings not spills and such. This location has a Coke machine where you can mix different flavors. Staff was great.

Our favorite burger place in the area. Order a grilled cheese with one or more beef patties in the middle and add all the fixings you like to it, you won't be disappointed! And the fresh cut fries and shakes are amazing as well. It is anything but healthy..but isn't meant to be and it's totally worth it!

First time ever in a Five Guys. Had heard so much hype but it was awful! They had a fair amount of staff for lunch time but it took forever to get out order. Two veggie sandwiches with cheese which were literally the worst things I have ever eaten at a restaurant. The fries were cold. Soggy and way over salted. It was apparent they had been sitting for a very long time. They weren't busy so there was absolutely no excuse for fries like this! The dining room area was gross. Floors had so much food dropped on them from previous guests. For what I spent on our food it was a total waste. I would never recommend anyone eating here. Ever!

First time and loved it. Wish there was one around where I live. Everything fresh is awesome. I love how they tell you where the potato co es from and the peanuts were an unexpected treat while we waited for our food. They were pretty busy for 230 in afternoon (during October off season) and still managed to make the food in a timely manner while still maintaining great product. I'm impressed and hope I can come back soon

Rating Food:4/5 (Good food!) Service: 5/5 (Amazing Service!) Atmosphere: 5/5 (Clean, beautiful restaurant!) I recently had a fantastic experience at The Classic Breakfast inside Cinco Niños at The Kalahari Resorts & Conventions in Sandusky, Ohio. There’s truly no better way to kick off a fun family night than with a hot, hearty breakfast the next morning! The atmosphere was incredibly welcoming, with chefs eagerly preparing made-to-order omelets and attentive servers ensuring we had everything we needed. The food was impressive—one of my favorite aspects was the variety offered at the different food stations. Everything was kept hot, and the best part? You can enjoy all-day dining at a reasonable price! I even had a delightful conversation with the chef who whipped up my omelet, which made the meal even more enjoyable. The presentation of the food was appealing, adding to the overall experience. Service was top-notch as well! Our server was attentive, frequently checking in on us, refilling our water glasses, and assisting with any requests. Such great service makes a huge difference! The environment, it was vibrant and inviting. The cleanliness of the tables and surroundings, along with the fantastic aromas wafting through the space, made for a perfect breakfast setting. I really appreciated the thoughtful decor and how each area was organized. Overall, my experience at The Classic Breakfast at Cinco Niños was a wonderful way to start the day. I highly recommend visiting for a delicious breakfast that offers great value for your money!

The service is laughable as our waiter had ONE other table and decided to ignore us, had to ask the busboy for refills on drinks and to go boxes. Then the waiter tried to over charge us. The food was decent and the atmosphere was nice

Cincos is the best in Wisconsin Dells💯. I came here for the first time in April for a conference and am hooked. They provide the best breakfast buffet on weekends and the Tacos, Margaritas , and fajitas are on POINT. Me, my co workers and my family now come here as a must! Our glass was not ever empty and the staff are attentive! From the Manger to his staff, perfection in service, kindness and the qaulity & quantity of food. I travel alot and this is my top 5 dining experience in the United States without a doubt!

We stayed at the Kalahari for a couple days. We had the breakfast buffet which was an amazing spread with traditional breakfast items and Mexican inspired choices, too. It was very busy during breakfast, but our server was great. After spending the day at the water park, we took our group of 10 in for dinner. Michael was our server, and he was very attentive and friendly. 5 stars for Michael. The food was delicious. Even the picky-eater kiddos in our group were satisfied. We even had the chef stop by our table to say hello and ask how everything was tasting. This place was not busy for dinner, which was very surprising considering how good the service and the food were.

We had a really lovely time celebrating our two sons' birthdays at Cinco Niños while on our trip at Kalahari Resort. Everyone was lovely (especially our server, Analia), the food was tasty and reasonably priced, and they treated the boys to ice cream!

Brittany and her mom were very friendly and welcoming! We had the breakfast buffet and everyone, including the guy making the custom omelettes for guests was jovial. The breakfast buffet has a wide selection of pastries/ desserts, eggs, veggies, meats, and fruits. They also have a variety of drinks to choose from: coffees, teas, juices, milks, sodas, and adult beverages. Note: I couldn’t get pictures of all the bars/spreads due to staff refreshing them and other guests utilizing them

Bronco Billy's Saloon is a must-visit spot for delicious and generous-sized burgers. The rodeo burger, featuring a medium patty with cheese curds and slices of cheese topped with BBQ sauce, is particularly recommended. The appetizers like cheese curds and corn nuggets are also highly praised. While the service may be a bit slow at times, the food comes out fast and is worth the wait. Visitors rave about the cowboy burger and patty melt, noting their exceptional flavors.
Very well designed and newer bar & grill. I had the steak sandwich with sweet potato fries. Fried onions cost extra but were a good addition. Both were done very well. Sandwiches have an above average selection of (included) sides. Service was fast and friendly. Overall a good value. Large parking area and outdoor seating.

it was a nice place, different atmosphere. had a American food place feel with a local feeling twist. our waitress was busy but nice and did get help from others. the portions were good and I really appreciated the homemade appearance of the burger patties. the patties had a charbroiled taste to them which isn't a particular favorite for myself but I'm sure others would love it. the view outside is pretty nice as well and I'm not sure where you can see it from but the enormous American flag waving out past the corn is a nice touch.

Great service, our server was extremely friendly, the food was amazing, restaurant was super clean, received the food super fast! Definitely will come back when we return to the area! Love that you can bring your dog and their doggie menu was cool, loved the outside seating, plenty of room. 10 out of 10 recommend if you haven't been here !

Beautiful place, all the staff are helpful and attentive. And the food! I got a Cajun rub grilled outlaw chicken sandwich that was absolutely amazing!! The wife got a sweet n sassy burger with seasoned waffle fries. She said (and this is a large statement coming from a chick fil a fan), the fries were way better than chick fil a and it was the best burger she ever had. We both tried each others and both of us agreed. If you're even close to Madison or the dells or just passing thru. Definitely go outta your way to eat here!!!

Service was prompt, friendly, and attentive. I got the Outlaw Chicken with the Cajun rub and tater tots and it was all excellent. Extremely reasonably priced for how much food you get. Definitely would recommend 👍

We have driven by this place for years. Assumed it was just another bar. We finally decided to see what all the fuss was about with running consistent 4-5 star reviews. We were so surprised. What a fun modern clean restaurant with a bar and an entire outdoor area with firepits and comfy Adirondack chairs. My thoughts shifted from "well it isn't a dive bar it must be overpriced Dells sub par tourist food". Again. So very wrong. Seated quick and drink orders taken. It was a pretty slow rainy Monday and relatively quiet so I have no idea what busy looks or sounds like. Server wasted no time but was still friendly. We ordered some tap beers, We got a massive cheeseburger with plentiful fries, a single visit salad bar that used actual regular sized plates and not the small salad plates you get at most places. And the split pea and ham soup. Everything was delicious and flavorful and homemade. The salad bar, though small, offered the regular salad offerings and also coleslaw, potato salad, a chicken type salad, Dill ranch dip for veggies and toppings. I had the ranch dressing and it was so good. It was all fresh and flavorful. I was stuffed and could barely eat the cup of soup I ordered. Prices are consistent to most places with the economy being what it is. Not way overpriced though. The only downside was the news was playing on the overhead TVs. When I eat out I do not want to be reminded of real life, especially now, with all bad news. Put on music or sports of some sort not news. All in all it was a great experience and we will be back.

Bronco Billy's was highly recommended to us for the Friday night fish fry while we were staying in the Dells for a girls night out. Excellent service from our bartender and server. We were served our food within 10 minutes of ordering. Our Blackberry Old Fashioned were delicious. Great good, great prices and great atmosphere. We will definitely be returning customers!!!!

Day 3

Off the beaten path
For day 3, if you don’t mind the extra trek, today covers more off the beaten path places like Mirror Lake State Park. Not quite as popular as Circus World | A Wisconsin Historic Site, but still highly rated among many travelers. Accounting for getting around and average time spent, today’s activities could take about 8 hours.

Parks
Mirror Lake State Park is a 2,200-acre natural reserve that boasts of a serene lake, dense woods, and towering cliffs. Visitors can indulge in activities such as hiking through the lush forest where they can see rock formations that are millions of years old. The park offers numerous fun activities including canoe rentals, biking trails, and swimming at its beach. Mirror Lake State Park is also an excellent spot for camping and relaxation.
This is a very pretty and well maintained state park and only 2-1/2 hours from Chicago. I did not have electric. But my travel trailer did fine with my solar set up. The campsites have some distance between them and greenery as well. Very private and very quiet campground. 2 deer meandered through my site one night. Very sweet. The hiking trails are nicely manicured. The beach is a little small, and no dogs are allowed at the beach it, but they have plenty of kayaks and paddle boards for rental. A good price at $20 an hour. The only negative what is the amount of algae in the lake. It’s not spring fed… so it was a little gross. But all in all a great place to camp.
Sue W — Google review
Great welcome center and beautiful views. The water was really filmy and dirty in late August, not sure if it’s better at other times of the year. We also biked on the bike trails. They are a mix of the grass, wood chips, and sand, but some of the sand areas had very thick, soft sand that was very difficult to ride on.
Tiffany A — Google review
Excellent WI state park. Gorgeous property, great family friendly activities and a trail that takes you directly to Ishnala Supper Club! Sites feel pretty private, but noise reminds you it’s a state park and not in the wilderness. Excellent, clean facilities (showers and bathrooms) and the staff is friendly. Excited to stay here again in the future.
Robb Z — Google review
This place is perfect for a relaxing day outdoors. The hiking trails are beautiful and easy to walk, and the views are absolutely stunning. You can enjoy various water activities on the lake, and there’s also a camping area nearby. It’s a great spot to bring your dog for a nice walk, too!
Young L — Google review
Beautiful park, along a manmade lake. Most people visiting seem to be from Wisconsin and they come here for the water activities: fishing, kayaking... So we had the trails to ourselves. We did most of them, which amounted to 9 miles. The woods are beautiful, and we saw plenty of mushrooms. The Echo rock trail has a nice rock formation. Our favorite trail was the Ishnala which has a mix of meadows, woods, and rock formations. We were there on a Friday, and there was a fantastic naturalist called Lexi who was running an interactive program on songbirds. She provided valuable insight into birds but also other aspects of the ecosystem.
Valérie L — Google review
Absolutely beautiful park. The campsites are huge and spaced well apart, with a ton of privacy. Each site has a sturdy shepherds hook for hanging a variety of things. The water was clear but a good amount of algae on the surface in early August.
Wendy F — Google review
Nice campground close to the dells, beautiful lake to kayak around or rent a boat. Not great fishing from shore as its fished all day every day and very pressured. Nice place to camp and enjoy nature while still being close to the city.
Matt H — Google review
Very nice hike relatively easy for two 50 year olds. Not 5 star due to lots of highway noise along the hike. Very nice office staff and $16 fee for out of state plates to park but covers all Wisconsin state parks for the day. Including nearby Devils Lake which has more advanced difficulty hiking. Still very pretty with changing leaves in the second week of October.

Wildlife center featuring all 15 species of cranes, plus nature trails, guided tours & a gift shop.
If you live in Wisconsin or are just visiting, the International Crane Foundation is a must see particularly, if you enjoy birds or care about conservation. They literally have all 15 species of cranes and wonderful grounds which includes a host of short hiking trails and opportunities to learn about the Foundation’s work . As you walk along the path on your self-guided tour, they even have signs identifying some of the plants which I appreciated.  It’s really a beautiful place. In addition to doing a self-guided tour, they also offer free public tours from at 10 a.m., 1 and 3 p.m. on weekends only in May, September, and October and daily in June, July, and August.  My next visit will be a guided tour because I left with a couple of questions. Two species had nests which was exciting to see and along the path they also had some cool art work which included a sculpture featuring 2 cranes in a dance that was part of a water foundation feature.  Last but not least, they also had a really amazing gift shop for taking home some fun reminders of your visit.
Carol C — Google review
So Worth it!!! I was in Baraboo exploring and a shop owner insisted I go see the cranes. So thankful as it's an experience I will never forget. You get to see these magnificent birds up close and personal. It was so peaceful. I was like a kid in a candy shop. Felt blessed to share time with some very special, magnificent and often endangered creatures. Very impressive foundation.
Debra D — Google review
This wonderful place has so much to offer, including the only collection of all 15 different types of cranes in the world! They even have free tours available at various times each day, so you can really enjoy everything they have to share. It’s definitely worth a visit (and as a bonus, it's only an hour or so from Madison, and much closer than that to Devil's Lake State Park!).
Amir N — Google review
The only place in the world to see all 15 crane species. Did the tour and it was incredibly fascinating learning about these birds. Outside of the animals they have a few walking paths through restored prairie. Highly recommend!
Jack J — Google review
Awesome experience! The cranes were all beautiful, the facility is clean and well cared for with a nice gift shop with local artisan work. Great educational experience and well worth the entry fee. They have electric scooters for those that need them. My mother used one which allowed her to see the whole loop. Very much appreciate their customer service with getting her set up and transitioned from her walker.
Lisa H — Google review
I can't put i to words how unbelievably awesome this was!!! The birds were all taken care of and looked healthy. My husband and I could have stayed for hours watching and learning about these beautiful birds! All the staff were great too.
Teresa M — Google review
This place is amazing. I really don’t know how I didn’t know this place was here considering I’ve lived in Wisconsin for 40 years. Evidently, there are 15 species of crane in the world and at this location there are all 15. Only the sandhill crane has a population that isn’t in danger of being coming extinct. The whole layout of this place, the viewing areas, the environment the birds are kept in is really cool. The whooping cranes have a small amphitheater for spectators to observe the Cranes. The birds themselves seem to be oblivious of you they just walk past, start foraging or stand there preening themselves. I will definitely return!
Andy B — Google review
Brought my wife and girls, 11 and 13, while on vacation from Chicago. My older one goes hiking with her aunt and they bird watch together. We all had a great time at the conservatory! so peaceful and we got some amazing pics/vids of the cranes. We saw mice running around all well as some baby frogs, butterflies, dragonflies, and birds. The volunteers were so friendly and my kids both struck up multiple conversations with them. My younger one got their attention to help a baby bird that was having trouble flying. The women at the gift shop were amazing, so friendly. we will definitely be coming back here again!

Brewpub
AL. Ringling Brewing Co. is a must-visit for beer enthusiasts, offering a variety of unique and flavorful craft beers. The brewery boasts an impressive collection of old Circus memorabilia, adding to its cool and unique ambiance. Visitors can enjoy the fantastic original recipes from the circus family and savor brews like the English Porter and Bourbon barrel aged beers.
Every beer was tried was delicious. Really fun atmosphere. Service was fine. They were out of several taps and food items but what we had was great. Worth the stop.
Angela N — Google review
Passing through so popped in to check it out. The place is huge with plenty of seating and neat things to look at. They have a nice beer selection for sure. We shared pretzel and Cobb Salad which both were good. They didn't have any mustard and salad came w/o Avocado but all good. Look forward to next time🍻
BLFL — Google review
Went for the pretzel and empanadas but they had neither one. Not sure why if it will be busy in town that they would not have planned ahead. I did try the walk away Sunday stout it had an great taste and a root beer after taste. The atmosphere was good pretty cool looking place! For as slow as the place was could of been faster service.
Amber M — Google review
Good brewery with a nice selection of beer styles and great flavor to them all. Their Disco Lemonade is delicious. I love their empanadas, but this past time I went I had a plastic shard in my food. The server was nowhere to be found and we ended up finishing them, being careful with each bite. I showed him and he basically did nothing. When he brought the check he mentioned it was a shard from their meat prep container, but didn’t offer to replace or remove anything from the check. They had a hostess who did nothing since its seat yourself, would’ve been better to have had her run food or check on tables.
Mike V — Google review
We stopped by to try some local beers. We had a flight and all were good. We tried a red beer, wheat, mango, a stout like beer. We also got a try of the jalapeno beer. The service was great and the pricing was reasonable. The history of the house is cool. We were not aware of it until we saw it on Google maps.
Joel M — Google review
Was such a beautiful place. But the server that was handling us, she was snotty from the second we walked in. Got dirty looks, and when we sat and got asked about what we wanted for our drinks, she was acting rude and was upset that we didn’t know the drink menu. After we got our drinks settled she went behind the bar counter and started laughing about us with her friends. I really wish I got to try the food and enjoy the surroundings more but we didn’t want to stay. Reallllyyyy wish we were able to enjoy the place some more it was so pretty.
Fayte F — Google review
We stopped in on a Monday afternoon around 6pm not to busy the waiter greeted us and we found our seats. This place is also a museum for the Ringling brothers circus. The food was very good and the beer was tasty

Ochsner Park Zoo is a city zoo that has been open to the public since 1926. It does not require any admission fees and offers an array of wildlife such as lynxes, monkeys, llamas, tortoises and more. The zoo may be small in size but it is ideal for families with little children who can spend about an hour observing the animals. There are also picnic tables and a playground adjacent to the park where people can relax after visiting the animals.
Cute little zoo. Have never seen bears cohabitation with anything before but they had a black bear and artic foxes together that appeared to be playing. Nice place to stop and stretch the legs on a drive.
Charles G — Google review
Such a nice little zoo! They have wolfs, a bear, arctic fox, deer, swans, cranes, lynx, otters, prairie dogs you can feed as wells as the pigs, donkeys and goats. Make sure to bring quarters for the feed. Free parking and free admission! They do accept donations. It's not big, so you can't get lost but definitely nice to visit! Kids loved it, especially feeding the animals!
Kasia T — Google review
Great place for any age, lots of wonderful animals, pets. Ample parking, great park area with picnic tables, clean restrooms. Good couple of hours well spent. It's a gem in the north freedom, baraboo area!
Madan N — Google review
Such a cute little spot to walk and see the animals. A few weren't out due to heat, so we didn't see spider monkeys, otters, or the lynx, but still a great little visit.
Amie K — Google review
Really nice little Zoo. Pretty nice selection for the size too. The staff were so kind so I can't even complain. Definitely a must go.
Joseph R — Google review
A great little zoo. It’s free and there are a lot more animals than I thought. It is tiny but the animals seem very well cared for and happy! I highly recommend stopping here if you’re driving thru or staying in or near baraboo.
Isabelle M — Google review
Nice little free zoo. Animals are easy to see and well cared for. Nice park with plenty of picnic space around the zoo. Nice walking trail along the river you can access from the parking lot too.
Isaac K — Google review
Ochsner Park zoo is a nice, small, family friendly local zoo. It is free, so that is always great. It is pretty small, with not too many animals located here. The bears were probably my favorite part of the zoo, along with the goats that you can feed by hand. Bring some quarters for the feed machines You can probably walk through the entire place in less than a half an hour. But like I said, it's free, so if you are in the area it is worth checking it out. Plenty of available parking when I visited on memorial day this year.

Restaurant
The Little Village Cafe is an authentic 1940s diner that serves up a diverse selection of American cuisine with a unique twist. This down-to-earth joint, located in Baraboo, Wisconsin, has been recognized as one of the top eateries in the area on TripAdvisor. Listed on the National Historic Registry, this restored diner retains its original decor and ambiance from the 1940s. From delectable soups to mouthwatering desserts, their menu caters to all taste buds.
What a fantastic find on the corner of downtown Baraboo. This cafe is just as charming as the town it calls home. We stopped in on a recommendation and were treated to the most wonderful lunch by a kind staff. You can literally see how happy the folks who run this place are and there's a reason this cafe has the history it has. Definitely a must stop if you're passing through or in to visit at the nearby Devil Lakes State Park.
Vinson D — Google review
It was my first time visiting the Little Village Cafe. I ordered the Jamaican jerk chicken burrito, my brother ordered the sirloin burrito with rice on the side, and my mom ordered the pesto mushroom pasta with grilled chicken on top. The portions were nice and big, and the prices were great! Probably the first restaurant I’ve been to with low prices in a while. I liked my chicken burrito but I tried my brothers and enjoyed the sirloin one better. My mom’s pasta was delicious, the pesto sauce was divine. Our server was very kind and he put our food in takeaway boxes for us. The diner atmosphere is very quaint, I like the old retro vibes a lot! I love this place and we will be returning.
Anastasia — Google review
This place is so cute! I love the unexpected charm of the building when you walk in. The portions are a great size and well priced for what you get. Not to mention the quality! We got both lunch and dessert, it’s definitely on our “fancy night out for dinner” list of restaurants.
Rin M — Google review
High quality food in a charming, small town cafe atmosphere. Everything was super fresh and delicious. (The grilled ahi tuna sandwich was the best one I've ever had). Prices are very reasonable. Portions are generous, but be sure to save room for some homemade dessert. The staff are also very warm and welcoming. This place is a gem!!
Kathleen D — Google review
Located right at the corner on the town square across the courthouse there is a plaque on the wall outside about the history of the building. A super cute cafe - authentic counter stools, wooden booths that were as regal as church pews, a large bar and nice wine selection - it was the perfect place to grab lunch after a morning hike at Devils Lake state park. Nice vegetarian options in each menu category we tried the goat cheese and bread basket. It was a unique - and tasty - presentation i hadn't seen elsewhere, soft warm goat cheese surrounded by roasted red pepper relish, olive oil and roasted soft garlic cloves. The black bean burger is a good patty and well prepared. the black bean burrito is substantial and tasty, very filling. A glass of white wine was crisp and fresh. Service was terrific and had a small town cafe vibe from the hospitality being seated, to food recommendations and follow-up. I look forward to returning my next time in Baraboo.
John A — Google review
Great food, friendly staff, healthy options, exceptional homemade desserts!! My favorite dessert is the Key Lime Pie and I'm dead convinced they have the best in Wisconsin! Always a 10/10 when I dine at the Little Village Cafe! I've written more reviews for this cafe on Yelp, which includes a list of some of my favorite menu items to order!

Pizza delivery
Domino's Pizza is a popular delivery and carryout chain known for its wide range of pizzas and other dishes. Customers have praised the quality of their food, with one person even calling it the best Domino's experience they've ever had. The staff at various locations have been described as helpful, kind, and providing excellent customer service. Additionally, customers appreciate the cleanliness of the stores and promptness of delivery drivers. Overall, Domino's Pizza seems to consistently deliver delicious food with great service.
This is one of the best Dominos I have ever visited. This is the Only Dominos in Wisconsin which has nice indoor seating. We also enjoy lovely outdoor seating. The manager was super awesome and very friendly.

These guys are awesome. I had a baby any couldn’t afford to tip because money is tight, and they were very understanding and made the entire experience amazing. They surprised me with the handwritten note. It surprised us, and definitely made our night even more amazing!
Trey R — Google review
Ordered this at 756pm, delivery was to be by 820. 851pm I called and asked where the food was as it has been done since 810 according to the tracker. That’s 40 minutes of sitting somewhere not including the time it would be in the car. They said “they’ll make sure it’s fresh”. THEN an old nasty cheese pizza gets delivered. Does this look fresh at all? Or like a pepperoni pizza? I have 5 kids that were expecting dinner an hour ago who are now waiting for the right food to be delivered because “we need back the wrong pizza” Thanks!
Taylor R — Google review
The Domino's website would not let me finish reviewing, so I wanted to leave it here. Our order was accurate and the pizza's look great (Thanks, Deb! - if the tracker is correct). The time between cooking and delivery was super quick even on a Friday night! The delivery driver Adam (again, if the tracker is correct) was punctual, polite and handled our dinner with care! Thanks so much for keeping dinner easy and delicious!
Ari — Google review
This location never disappoints! The pizza is always hot and fresh. Their crust is perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside—especially the garlic crust, which is a game changer. Ordering through the app is super easy, and delivery is consistently fast and friendly. They’ve nailed the balance of great taste, convenience, and value. Highly recommend! Also worth mentioning- the staff at A+
Samantha G — Google review
We placed our one pizza order online; it gave a 15 minute "be ready" time frame & we selected the drive up for pick up option. We saw they were busy however they totally ignored those at the drive up window. We waited about 5 minutes before we pushed the service button, waited 2 -3 more minutes before pushing button again & waited another 10 minutes before someone finally came to the window to address us. A different vehicle ahead of us did the same thing but eventually parked their vehicle & went in the store to pick up their order. The vehicle behind us waited numerous minutes before going inside instead. At least make contact at the drive up & get the customer's name in case the pizza you just made was theirs. Don't ignore them.
Deb H — Google review
Walked into Domino’s starved and let me tell you—they did not disappoint. My order was ready so fast I barely had time to scroll TikTok in the parking lot. The pizza? Absolute perfection. Golden crust, gooey cheese, and toppings that didn’t look like they were just thrown on by someone in a rush to go home. Chef’s kiss. The staff was super chill and friendly—like, “we know you’re here for your carb fix and we support you” vibes. I walked out feeling like a champion, pizza in hand, smelling like victory (and garlic butter). Will 100% return every time I’m too lazy to cook but still want to feel like I made a good life choice.

We are on vacation and ordered subway for an easy lunch. I honestly didn’t know bread could be as stale as reheat was served to us. It would’ve been easier to eat a hockey puck. Very disappointing. The reviews do not accurately portray just how terrible this location is. I would give zero stars if I could.

On baseball bus trip stopped at this subway for lunch. Had good fresh subway. Food. Split foot. Long tuna sandwich with wife. Two freshly baked oat meal cookies and really good fountain lemon to drink. Service was fast friendly and efficient. Atmosphere was fairly large sitting very clean and bright.
Gavin S — Google review
We ordered online, and it took 18 minutes for our sandwich to be ready. Apparently in the off season this large subway is staffed by only one person, and about 5 people were already ordering at the store . What was to be a quick stop turned into a half hour.
Dennis P — Google review
We came here on Saturday March 15th at 3:40 and had the worst customer service a Subway, or fast food restaurant for that matter, has ever given. We weren’t greeted, the guy making our sandwich just stared at us rather than asking what we would like to order. It was awkward and uncomfortable- not a friendly environment or one I’d like to be apart of. And we had to eat in our car because every single table was dirty with either crumbs or sauce. As we left, we got glares rather than a simple thanks or have a good day. I tip 15-20% at every Subway I go to, not this one. I overheard other customers making comments about how unwelcoming this place was as we were on our way out. I hope it gets better for the employees and customers that choose to come here.

American restaurant
Cracker Barrel Old Country Store is a cozy chain restaurant that offers classic American comfort food and features an on-site general store. The menu includes favorites like chicken and dumplings, house biscuits, chef salad, mac n cheese, and more. The restaurant is known for its quick service even during busy times and the friendly staff who cater to special dietary needs. Visitors also appreciate the reasonable prices and the opportunity to shop at the gift store.
Affordable spot with decent food. Nothing fancy, but it gets the job done if you’re looking for a quick and budget-friendly meal. Service was okay and the place was clean. Good value for the price. Spent $57 for my family of 4 with tip included.

Came to visit during a non-rush time of day on a Saturday. Had a new server so the low score was for failure to keep the drinks refilled. I was surprised to see alcoholic beverages on the menu; maybe that’s just a Wisconsin thing. The portions were OK, but the food seemed like it was missing something. Probably a lot of the love that you would get if you were south of the Mason-Dixon Line and your grandma was cooking for you. Cornbread and biscuits were good, but the dessert menu was pretty slim. Focus on comfort food, and getting the basics down pat.
Mark F — Google review
Got me the chicken and dumplings and they are definitely good. My problem is they gave me it in the same bowl/plate as my sides so now it’s all mixed and basically a garbage plate and my Mac is soupy. Also I got the smallest amount of gravy on my potatoes… There was no Apple butter and the coffee machine was down… all around not a great experience.

It was my first time having cracker barrel! We came at one of their busiest times. The place was jam packed and pretty loud. It understandably took a little bit to get our food. However, our waitress kept checking in with us, letting us know she did put in our order, filling drinks, etc. so we had excellent customer service! The food was really good! We had the county fried shrimp and southern fried chicken with dumplings, hash brown casserole, fries, pan fried apples, and bacon Mac and cheese. I recommend everything that we tried honestly. We also had a coupon for an appetizer and tried their cheese curds. Their ranch was obviously made in house, which I love a homemade buttermilk ranch. The cheese curds weren't anything special to me but still good. Their cornbread and biscuits are a little dry which isn't my favorite so I couldn't give an honest review. Anyways would definitely go back!
Jasmine B — Google review
Menu didn't have any hardly any selection. Our waitress was really good. The atmosphere was great. Loved the store. However, who changed the menu? We walked out saying we wouldn't be back. We used to love going there. Sorry, Cracker barrel, you have disappointed us!
Kathy — Google review
Positive: I have never been there and my son took me for dinner. Everything looked great! Food was excellent! Pictures are of the food we ate there. Our waitress was so nice and attentive. The shop had a 50% off sale so bought a couple of little things. Cons: I would skip the $5 take home meal. It wasn't worth it. Looked like someone's leftovers. There was very little food. I know they were running out of a lot of food when we were there so maybe that's the reason why. There was only two tablespoons maybe of Mac & Cheese and the meatloaf was a very thin small slice. (Yes I know $5 isn't a lot but I have gotten more from other take home meals at other places)
Stefanie J — Google review
The staff was very fast and friendly. I got seated right away when I walked. Both the host and waitress were extremely friendly. Wonderful customer service skills which is extremely rare anymore these days. After I ordered my food, I attempted to play my game on my phone, but was unsuccessful because once I got a couple of chores done on it, my food arrived! :D This was faster service than most fast food restaurants. This was also my very first time coming to a Cracker Barrel for breakfast. The food was incredibly delicious. Best breakfast I have had in a long time. Their pancakes even outdo IHOP. Cracker Barrel is a must stop for breakfast at least once.
Christian L — Google review
I've been to many CBs around the country and been to this location a few times. Unfortunately, the food was not good this time. The meatloaf was cold in certain places, the chicken was overcooked, the scrambled eggs were not fully cooked, the broccoli cheese was burnt. I have no idea what is going on? Other than the food being disappointing, the Mimosas were delicious. Might not be going back for a while.

Jose's Authentic Mexican Restaurant is a popular dining spot in Baraboo, Wisconsin, located on Eighth Street in a former Dairy Queen building. It has gained a loyal following and was even named Business of the Year by the local Chamber of Commerce. The restaurant offers an array of authentic Mexican dishes, a well-stocked bar, and warm hospitality. Visitors rave about the delicious food and exceptional customer service that makes them feel like part of the family.
Delicious! Good service, but hard to get to at the moment with the road closures. However, the food was excellent as was the margarita! The chips and salsa are a must have! My wife had the shrimp salad and I the enchiladas! There is another location in the Dells that my buddy recommended as well.
Joseph B — Google review
Jose's used to be great! The place to go to for decent Mexican food. The last couple times I was there, I didn't think they were great. Decided to give them one more try and it was horrible. We had our food in like 3 minutes which proves nothing was fresh. My chimichanga was soft and meat tasted funky. Lettuce tasted old. It was just yuck. So I will not be going again.
Kimberly L — Google review
Service was GREAT! The best hometown Mexican food around. I wrote this review specifically for Victor and Miguel. They were awesome. They made the experience outstanding with their positive energy, and great customer service. Thank you Jose’s!

Found on Google. Good margaritas. Service was good. And food was great. Carne asada was very tender and flavorful. Glad we came here. Cute flair inside. Love all the artwork, especially on the chairs.

Was there on 9/12 food was good, but the waiter never came back after he dropped off the food. My dear wife had to go get our own doggy bags and finally after he watched her do that he came over and asked if we needed anything. We said well we sure would have liked to drink refill, but too late now just give us our bill. I think we had the worst waiter there.
Jon F — Google review
Jose’s Authentic Mexican absolutely exceeded our expectations! On short notice, they were able to cater a delicious buffet of chicken and steak fajitas with all the fixings, from beans and rice to toppings and shells. The food was a total hit and incredibly delicious! We enjoyed leftovers for days and loved every bite. Working with Jose himself was such a treat. He was personable, accommodating, and genuinely wanted to make our day special, and he did just that. He and his team worked perfectly within our time frame and had everything set up and ready to go by the time we arrived at our reception. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience or a better meal!

Great food and absolutely fantastic service. We joined another hockey team for a joint team dinner and the staff provided the side room for us all to dine in. It was perfect. Our group was about 50, and the staff did a great job taking orders and getting food out quickly. It was an absolute joy and Jose should be proud of his great staff!
Jeremy G — Google review
Been coming here every few years when I'm in the Dells area. Always glad that I come. I got the especial el vallarta fajitas. Such a big portion for 18.99 and I took a lot back with me even though I am a big eater. A lot of places cost more for a fraction of the portions. Best part of the meal was talking with the owner, Jose. Such a nice man and was eager to talk and joke with customers and tell me more about the history of his restaurant and how they prepare some of the dishes. Will be back for more that is a certainty!

Historical landmark
Circus World, located in Baraboo, Wisconsin, is a historic site and museum complex that offers a fascinating look into the history of the circus. Originally starting with just six circus wagons and less than an acre of grounds, it has now expanded to cover sixty-four acres with over 260 impressive wagons and thirty permanent structures. The museum features live acts under a big-top tent during summer performances, providing visitors with an entertaining and educational experience.
It was amazing! We went there with one of kids and two grandkids. The big top circus show was very good. The acrobatics were very good. The kids circus show was adorable. The museum exhibits were very interesting and informative. The whole feeling of the place was fun.
David C — Google review
I was pleasantly surprised how wonderful this place is. The grounds and live big tent circus performance brought back many memories of when I saw the circus. I am so happy they are keeping it up. The live performances are spectacular. Very professional. It's well worth the trip coming here and spending a few hours to enjoy with family.
A C — Google review
What an amazing treat! FYI - there are no longer live elephants at Circus World. 2025 is the 1st year they no longer host these amazing, majestic creatures. However, this experience was wonderful and memorable. Went with family and friends and we had THEE best time. Toured the grounds, watched all shows, rode the carousel, purchased from the gift/souvenir shop, and took many pictures! Highly recommend watching the "Holidays! Big Top Show". As a Ringling Bros/Barnum & Bailey fan, Circus World 🎪 is as close as you're going to get here in Wisconsin. I sure do miss the good ol circus days so this was a wonderful taste of nostalgia. I cannot thank the entire staff and company enough for keeping this treasure alive. We drove a couple hours to come here and very much worth it. Guided Circus Wagon tour was just perfect. Thank you TJ, for the absolutely wonderful experience. 🙏

We attended the 1st(and hopefully annual) Wine and Wagons Event. Weather was beautiful. Staff, Volunteers, and Wineries were Great. The fact that the Performers were outside roving the event was neat
Alice T — Google review
It was so interesting. Not everything was open on Memorial Day when we were there but just the history itself was fun. It would be a good time under the big top also for the little ones for the amount of money a ticket cost, it wasn't very much. So just for the nostalgia alone it was definitely worth it to us.
Jane B — Google review
We absolutely loved our time at circus world. It was a great sunny day and totally worth the trip to see the parade and the *brilliant* performers 😉. Baraboo is a great little town and there is so many great things to do in the surrounding area as well. We are already planning our trip back next year.

This cozy diner serves classic American dishes, offering a taste of down-home Wisconsin cooking. The restaurant features unique booths resembling church pews, adding to its vintage appeal. This place was super cute and super delicious! After we sat down (its seat yourself) the waitress was very quick. The wait for the food was short. It was the best restaurant biscuits and gravy that I've ever had! The hashbrowns were crispy and french toast was fluffy with a beautiful crust
Camille B — Google review
The potato pancakes are incredible with the house made applesauce. Excellent chili. I really liked the French toast with the egg breakfast. Portions we perfect size. Not to big, not to small. Service was the best and most pleasant I’ve encountered for a while. We loved our server and wish I’d caught her name. The interior is wonderful with antique wood booths. Might just be the best place in town.

Best food I have had in years. Fantastic comfort food. Chicken Pot Pie soup was most excellent! Desserts were delicious. Great hometown atmosphere! Can’t recommend this place enough!!

Stopped in for lunch on a whim while visitng the area. Cute little restaurant with comfort food like grandma used to make it. Save room for dessert! Great food and great service. We'll be back next time we're in the area.
Jessica Z — Google review
I have been to Jen’s twice now. The first time service was a bit slow but it was a busy Saturday and seemed like they didn’t have many servers so it was understandable. The food was amazing, 5 stars… However I’m giving them 4 stars because of my second visit. I ordered the same thing both times, eggs benedict. The first time again, amazing…second time as you can see in the photo it was not a runny egg. Not only that but I could tell right away it was too hard even before cutting it. So if I could tell that, I’m surprised the cooks didn’t know that as well. I’m not the type of person to tell them to redo it (plus I was hungry and didn’t want to wait) I’ll definitely go back…I’m guessing this was just a fluke thing
Carla A — Google review
It was good food. That has plenty of fun options on the menu. The best thing I had was the cranberry walnut pie. It was tart and sweet with Christmas spices, something I'd never seen in a menu and can't find any Internet recepies that even look close. Will definitely stop in next time I'm in Baraboo.
Charles C — Google review
Wow! Amazing grilled burgers and they have the good ranch dressing for the fries. (I am a certified Iowa ranch expert ;) Jen's also has a great selection of pies! We will make this a stop in future trips.

The food was decadent! Prices reasonable, small town and vintage diner ambiance. Online Reviews looked good… so we gave it a try. Jen’s Alpine Cafe and Soup Kitchen did not disappoint!! The restaurant is often busy during Packer or Badger games and offers family-friendly service. First time visiting the burger company after moving into town. Definitely worth the visit and time spent. My wife got the wild West Burger and I got the chilaquiles burger. Super delicious. The environment and team are super welcoming and polite. Service is fast too will definitely be coming back in the future.

Dark bar atmosphere serving burgers. Not recommended for vegetarian options. Being a burger restaurant, I had high hopes for a home made black bean or veggie burger. No luck.... Frozen patty on a bun with a soggy slice of lettuce for $13. Definitely overpriced. The kids mini cheeseburgers and the other regular burger was good. But not worth a repeat visit.
Judy L — Google review
Great service and food. Monster burger was 1/2 pound and cooked perfect. Fries were beer battered and extra crispy. Appetizers were great too Cheese Curds and Fried Pickle Chips.
Darin A — Google review
Great place the fish tacos were very tasty and the Chipotle burger was great too. Beer battered fries had just the right crispness to them. These were just two of the items I had tried off the list but there seems to be many others I would try as well. There was plenty of seating upon arrival which was also a plus and being staffed was also a great experience! Staff was very tentative.

Really enjoyed my visit to this hidden gem. My bacon chipotle burger was easily one of the best burgers I’ve ever had, and paired with a couple cold spotted cows it will be hard to beat. What made the visit was the service though. All of the waitresses were very friendly and attentive. I will definitely be back the next time I’m in the area

The burgers are amazing and don't leave without trying an order of the fried pickles! They seem to have perfected them. The breading is very crispy and the pickle juice hasn't made them soggy. I recommend the spicy ranch for dipping.

Loved the bartenders, they were so friendly but not too chatty. This bar is spacious with plenty of pool tables and dart boards. Didn't get anything to eat, but next time I will!
Nykolle A — Google review
It is ok. If you aren't into pool like me, it is kind of boring. I go because grind go there, otherwise, I wouldn't bother. It isn't dirty, but it isn't clean. It just seems like a very old bar that is ran down.
Van A — Google review
A good, friendly atmosphere if you r 20 something.... Or even thirty something. They play the hot new music which u can put in a playlist. There are a couple of pool tables, darts, and a strength game. The mix drinks can very but they will make it right if the drinksnare not to your liking. They serve fried foods during bar hours. The nerds and apple pie shots are excellent.

It's the local flavor for anyone 21-30. This place goes in and out of being trendy. I liked coming here when I was 25, but not so much now that I'm older. The place is dated but management has redecorated it every 2 years or so to try and keep it trendy.

"The Green Vine" is a cozy spot that offers a variety of health-conscious options such as juices, smoothies, salads, sandwiches, and ice cream. The restaurant is constantly evolving its menu with the help of the owners' family members who serve as taste testers for new recipes. Visitors are impressed by the extensive menu and friendly service. The clean and spacious interior features beautiful paintings on the walls and comfortable seating arrangements, creating a welcoming atmosphere for families.
This space is very open! I was surprised by how large the menu was! The woman who helped me was very friendly. I ordered the Turkey Bacon Avocado Wrap on the garden veggie tortilla with a side of potato salad. It was delicious! $10 for the wrap + side. The space was very clean. There were beautiful paintings on the walls and copper wind chimes hanging all around the area (from the walls). The seating arrangements looked comfortable. I sat at a nice wooden table. The atmosphere was family-friendly. I haven't tried their smoothies, yet, but I plan to try one next time because there was a family of four there just for the smoothies - a sure sign that the smoothies are good. This is a great place to have lunch at in downtown Baraboo, Wisconsin.

This was great I loved the food, I got a smoothie which the texture made me not like as much but i’m picky with textures so it’s not on them. They forgot about my food for a while, I got a chicken, pesto wrap, they did a spinach tortilla when I asked specifically for a regular one but they were very polite still and it tasted amazing. I loved the music, exactly the vibe I like. Did feel a little overpriced though but i’m not great at pricing stuff anyway so it’s probably worth what it was priced. I must say the bathroom smelled terrible.

First time here. My favorite kind of lunch place! Lots of choices and variations on the menu. We had the chicken salad wrap (with grapes, apples, and pecans) and the Fancy Ham panini (ham, bacon, havarti, cheddar, apple, spinach, yogurt honey mustard dressing). Both were awesome, and I loved the chips and hummus side option! We didn't try a smoothie, juice, or ice cream, but we'll go back another time. Service was friendly and prompt. Thanks!

A fun little place to grab a sandwich. Varied menu offers something for everyone. Staff was very friendly and helpful. My southwest wrap was delicious although a little small. Would definitely recommend and go back.
Robert K — Google review
I cannot fully express how amazing this place is. They have so many custom options from food, smoothies, and unique drinks. For your food, you get an option of sandwich, salad or wrap, and you can customize the menu to your liking. The best part is that it’s more of a healthy side of choices. The smoothies are all fresh fruits that are frozen, you get many choices of your liquid base for those as well. Unique drinks are always a fun option. They have an abundance of syrup flavors and you can make your own soda or add flavor to Coke or Pepsi products. Their ice cream is unbeatable in brand, they have seasonal flavors that they bring out. All around a great and friendly place. The ambience is cute and earthy!

Four Star Restaurant is a beloved eatery that has been serving delectable breakfasts for years. Recently, patrons have also discovered the joys of their Friday fish fry. The beer battered cod is exceptional and the accompanying side dishes are deliciously portioned. Their homemade soups are flavorful and the dessert options are plentiful. This small town, family-owned establishment boasts not only great food but also a warm and friendly staff.
Very nice family restaurant! Food was good both times we ate there for breakfast. They kept our coffee full and the breakfast burrito and crepes were great!

My salad was drenched in water, as well it tasted like soap, the it sauce was expired by 2 years the date said “ oct 10th 2023” the sweet n sour chicken was ok but the rice was weird tasting like soap I couldn’t even finish it my stomach started to ache!! As they over charge for a small plate of food like 17.99 for and 13.99 for my fiancée and there specials didn’t go down in price stayed the same that’s what’s got my eye. They over charged for a side of fries it was supposed to be 1.00 but they put on the slip 4.99! And we confronted them and they changed the price but on the menu it said “1.00” like you can’t do that if you changed the price put it on the menu!!! The soda was really flat, the fried tasted like old oil and my spoon had FOOD ON IT STILL FROM WHEN I OPENED UP THE NAPKIN!! 2 or more for tax is crazy and on top of that we asked for the check and another lady came up and asked if we wanted more soda or dessert! Crazy never again will I go here, watch out for the scamming restraunt

Went there with my dad, and it was ok. The service was pretty bad, like when we got seated, it was around a 20 minute wait and then one of the waitresses realized we haven’t been served yet, and then someone else served us. The scrambled eggs were delicious, the bacon was good and the pancakes were pretty okay. The food, overall, was alright, but service definitely could have been better.

A great family owned restaurant. The group I was with comes in every year after a pool tournament. They recognized the group and stayed open so we could celebrate their wins, which is a tradition every year to celebrate with the final meal at Four Star. This place is the best. I came here originally because I wanted to try a free shake and for a fitness and health consultation. I really loved the shakes and teas and I started seeing results. There was a super friendly atmosphere and they know me by name. I love the advice I got to help me with my health. I recommend everyone to visit here. It's my favorite!! I want to give thanks to the awesome staff here!

I love the nutritional teas. I am from out of town, and thought I'd try this place. Normally the teas are very flavorful, but this one was terrible. I wonder if they didn't put enough of the ingredients in. It just tasted like water with a tiny bit of flavor. Staff was very friendly, though.

Friendly, energetic staff! Always willing to help with suggestions. Mandarin aloe and Wedding cake shake is my go to but always mixing up the tea. Love Tara, Melinda, Kyle and Beth ♥️

I am from the Barabo area but had never visited 3rd St. Nutrition. Some friends and I went out to celebrate my birthday over lunch. I wanted to try somewhere new....so we stopped. So glad we did!! We were greeted so warmly and they were excited to share all they had to offer. We ordered the Combo, highly recommend. Looking forward to returning.👍😉 Ann D.

Being a 1st time client. From the time you walk in the door and order the owner makes you feel welcomed. Im in love. This is amazing. I will definitely be back.

Tara was extremely helpful! The shake and tea I got were delicious. The aloe shot was surprisingly good as well.

I love taking my kids here for delicious shakes and teas that wake me up. As a busy mom, it’s a fun place to relax. I have tutored there as well because it’s a great environment. I love telling students and parents about this delicious, nutritious place!
