Factory Outlets
Gilroy Premium Outlets is a shopper's paradise with over 145 stores, including popular brands like Nike, Coach, and Calvin Klein. In addition to well-known retailers, the area also boasts unique local businesses such as the Garlic Shoppe for garlic lovers. Whether visiting Gilroy Gardens or exploring wineries along the Santa Clara Valley Wine Trail, there are plenty of dining options nearby. The outlets offer a diverse selection of clothing stores for both men and women, as well as shoe stores.
Great shopping area with so many brands
Ravindra Y — Google review
As someone who loves shopping, I was really looking forward to visiting the Gilroy Outlets. With three separate shopping areas and a wide variety of stores, there’s definitely potential for a great shopping experience especially if you're looking for good deals. However, a few things made the visit frustrating. I was disappointed to see that most of the stores had signs saying “no public restrooms,” and unfortunately, none were available throughout any of the outlet sections. It became a hassle to leave the shopping area just to find a restroom at a nearby fast food place. Another issue was the limited store hours. Opening at 12 p.m. and closing by 6 p.m. just doesn’t feel reasonable, especially when there are long lines to try things on or check out. Extending the hours would really help, particularly for weekend visitors and out-of-town shoppers who want to make the most of their trip. I also noticed a lack of visible security throughout all three sections of the outlets. With how busy it can get, having a stronger security presence would help shoppers feel safer and more comfortable. Lastly, I wish there were more dining options nearby. After hours of shopping, it would be great to have convenient places to eat without having to leave the area entirely. Overall, while the Gilroy Outlets offer a wide range of stores and deals, the experience could be improved with better amenities, longer hours, visible security, and more food choices.
Vanessa C — Google review
A great spot to find quality outlet products from well-known brands. Although it’s not as popular as it once was, there’s still plenty of parking and a good selection of stores. I just wish they had TUMI luggage available.
Liam — Google review
We all know buying at renowned outlets is the way to go to save money. This place has everything you need and then some, always at great prices. All kinds of food near. Spend a whole day there. You won't regret it.
Jose C — Google review
Outlet layout is horrible. Lots of driving unless you’re down for lots of walking. Feels like an inferno in the summer you can feel the heat radiating off the blacktop. Also there’s a HUGE rock in the entrance of the parking lot by Applebee’s which is also weird three way path for vehicles to bottle neck at. Make sure to NOT hit the rock even if it’s your blind spot and you can’t see it. Wonder why they would rip out a tree to put a fat rock, a rock that a bunch of people seem to hit. What does the rock protect?
Israel B — Google review
Overall a pretty decent outlet mall. Our highlight was the Nike store. The deals are very good with friendly and knowledgeable staff. Call out to Yvonne, she has good product knowledge on the shoes.
Daniel W — Google review
Definitely a place to visit when around. It easily takes a day to Rome around. There are 145 Brand outlets spread across this area. Lookout for a deal over there portal so you can avoid so much walking but then miss the deal in the next brand. They have huge parking space spread across the premises so just look for around if you even don't find instantly. They have public toilet, look for the Guide board for one nearest to you.
Abhishek ( — Google review
All the outlets in one place offering a wide array of discounts. Arranged as three sections with huge parking lot, eateries, restrooms etc makes this a family outing. There are benches and sofas for those who do not want to enter the stores while the family members shop.

Great little park, that adds all the additional space - from skate boarding, baseball, soccer and running areas. There are some BBQ pits and plenty of parking. A hidden jewel in this community.

Park quite big, lots of areas for picnic and whatnot, tennis courts, playgrounds, etc. It's quiet during the weekdays.

Nice park with 3 different playgrounds, dog park, skate park, basketball courts, tennis courts, handball courts, baseball fields, reservable picnic areas some with sinks and power and other picnic areas that are first come first serve. There are also 2 sets of restrooms and trails for walking or biking. There is plenty of open space for kids to play and have fun and in a relatively quiet area with not a lot of traffic. Also plenty of space for soccer and 3-4 different parking lots and lots of spots to park on the street! Great place for birthday parties or family picnics or outings!

Breakfast restaurant
Longhouse Restaurant, an enduring establishment on the bustling Monterey Highway, is a low-key and time-honored institution that offers traditional American cuisine for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Situated in Gilroy, where many eateries feature dishes infused with garlic flavors, Longhouse Restaurant proudly joins their ranks. Renowned for its delectable, hearty breakfasts served by attentive staff members who create a welcoming atmosphere, this family-oriented restaurant also boasts an equally enjoyable dinner experience.
Awesome place to sit back and let the cooks do all the magic. The taste of the food was/is amazing! The service is great...along with the location off Monterey Road. The menu has an ample selection to choose from. Highly recommend the Cowboy Ribeye Steak, a whooping 18ozs. - with a loaded baked potato! Yummy!

Excellent diner with great diner food, the bread in the basket was amazing and fluffy, steak was good and big portions and the staff was really nice and attentive.

My husband said it was the best steak he's had in a while! And the man has had steak in quite a few places! The service was fine the food was better for sure. We will definitely be coming back here.

We were looking for breakfast restaurants in Morgan Hill and they were busy and packed then we went to Gilroy and found this nice medium size restaurant on the corner of Monterey and Miller Slough. The hostess and everyone there greeted us like MVP's. Our waitress was LuLu and she was fantastic, a true pro and veteran. The combo's they had on the menu were great and prices were perfect for our pocket. I decided on the New York Steak sandwich with a ice cold soda. They also had pancakes with strawberries and my lady decided on that plate with the Spinach and Ham omelette and hashbrowns. The coffee was excellent and kept warm. LuLu kept it coming and we were very satisfied. Longhorn will be on our list of 5 star restaurants. We will be back. This place has been around for along time and has survived a couple of fires and covid and still operating. A great place to drive to and visit.

We were traveling from San Francisco to Morro Bay and stopped in Gilroy for dinner. The waitstaff were friendly, the accommodations comfortable if dated, and the food was tasty and plentiful. My wife ordered the Garlic Salmon Salad, I got the Baby Back Ribs. Both were delicious, and were very ample serving sizes. The salmon was cooked perfectly and nicely presented with the added prawns on a bed of lettuce. The ribs were fall-off-the-bone tender, the sauce had just the right kick for me, and the baked potato topped it off nicely. The staff were appropriately attentive even while preparing to close for the evening. This is a nice neighborhood restaurant; wish we lived closer!
Peter E — Google review
The food here is excellent and you get a lot of food for the price. The service was friendly and fast with the food. But when getting the check and getting it back took way too long! I waited what felt like 20 minutes after first receiving the check. Other then that this place is a staple for this area and I would still recommend .

Great food. We had the pork chops-fantastic! And the sole - also great. However, the service was the best. Jamie looked after us well, was attentive and very friendly. She’s one in a million.

Traditional American restaurant
Breakfast restaurant
Italian restaurant
Garlic City Cafe is a cheerful spot in downtown Gilroy that has been serving American and Mediterranean fare since 2007. The menu features a variety of mouthwatering dishes, including tortilla wraps, omelets, pasta dishes, sandwiches, salads, soups, waffles, and desserts.
Don't let the prices deter you, this is an amazing restaurant. The menu is confusing, but their dinner entrees include a soup or salad as well as toast. (Kinda disappointed it wasn't garlic bread). The pasta is great and very fancy, and the sauces taste freshly made. The portion sizes are huge and you could definitely share one. Try the garlic vanilla ice cream for dessert (; Very Unique

Avg atmosphere, no music or anything and it’s kind of condensed into a wide halfway. Food is good, it’s definitely garlic themed and we really liked it. That said, food is pretty heavy on the greasy grill style. And the fry portions are not large. Service is nice, they’re just under-staffed. We went during late lunch and the hostess/owner was the only person running about 5-7 tables (20 people)

I came here with my friend today. I had never been here but had been wanting to try it. I’m glad I came because it’ll be my first and last time. They have limited seating and only one server. It was lunch time & pretty full so I understand why it’d take so long. However, they brought my friend’s coke, took our order and still had not brought out my coffee. I had to ask for my coffee and they told us they had to brew the coffee. I continued to wait. When my tiny cup of coffee arrived, she asked if I wanted flavored creamer and I said yes. She brought me creamer with some open containers. My first impression upon seeing this is they are not throwing away the empty creamers after they clean the tables. Second thought was this is unsanitary and disgusting. Someone else touched this and they didn’t bother to clean it or throw it away. When she came to take our order, I asked her what she recommended from several items. I asked her if the onions were grilled, she didn’t know and turned around to ask the gentleman, and walked away. She didn’t answer my question; she just walked away. When my sandwich arrived, it didn’t have any onions. The chicken was super chewy and semi cold. It was supposed to have chipotle but all I could taste was bbq- I am not a huge fan of bbq sauce. My mug was so small, I needed more coffee, but the server wasn’t coming over to our table. I placed the mug at the edge of the table so she could see it. We had to leave since we were on lunch, my friend went up to the counter to pay. The server wanted us to split it in half. My friend explained she wanted to pay for her food and I’d pay for mine. My friend and I left feeling so disappointed, especially after paying $17 for a dissatisfying sandwich.
Areli L — Google review
Amazing food at an unassuming but spectacular restaurant. Highly recommend the whole garlic appetizer, the garlic burger, and more.
Anthony N — Google review
Followed a garlic truck into town and wasn’t disappointed. The garlic chicken sandwich came on delicious flakey French bread and the garlic cream soup was AMAZING. The garlic was so fragrant. The soup before the sandwich made me wish for a smidgen of salt on the chicken. My husband had the garlic burger which came fully loaded!!! The Gorgonzola mayo is funky but yummy. Garlic fries were lack luster and needed salt since they were just frozen crinkle fries with with delicious crumbled garlic n dry parm. Lots of lighter more Mediterranean options. Atmosphere was definitely old time Greek/tuscan diner. Price was appropriate for atmosphere but the food was worth more.
Kyttie S — Google review
Food was great! Service was good. Seems to be family owned and operated. Not really welcoming/inviting, but not rude at all. Just kinda matter of fact. Again the food was really good, give it a try, I'm sure you'll enjoy it. Update December 2023: California Omelet and Joe's Scramble were both delicious. Denver Omelet was very good as well, to go on that one. Past visit I tried the Corned Beef and Hash with Eggs. It was okay but not really to my liking. Castroville Own Omelet was fantastic. I really liked the California Turkey Club Sandwich a lot. El Paso Cheeseburger is outstanding. A lot to like here for sure.
Edward D — Google review
A variety of foods from soups, salads, sandwiches, burgers, and pasta. They have outdoor dining which is pet friendly. Very reasonable prices for their dishes. Located in the heart of gilroy off the Main Street. Had the garlic soup, chicken breast for my dog, and mushroom chicken sandwich which comes with a side. Everything was bursting with flavor and the service was fantastic. Love coming here when I pass through town.

This was a great choice for a sit down, local place with awesome homemade dishes. El Paso burger with garlic fries: 10/10 Garlic chicken sandwich with potato salad: 10/10 Kids had grilled cheese and fruit. Staff was so friendly and genuine. I noticed their slowly braised beef resting and I had to fight myself to avoid ordering more 😁

This store is going out of business, but they’re not willing to work with customers on pricing. I asked if they would price match a Southern California furniture store so I could get the item faster (before my daughter starts school and we move the girls into their new rooms) since they had it in stock locally. They didn’t even ask which piece I was referring to or what the price difference was. The girl on the phone at one point just said, “We’re not giving furniture away.” Mind you they didn’t know the piece I was asking about or the price differential when she said that. They clearly have no interest in making a sale. I’m honestly shocked they didn’t even ask for details before turning it down. Just a heads-up for anyone seeing the big “going out of business” signs, the trip may not be worthwhile. I was quoted $1,000 in the store and found the exact pieces for $598 + $99 shipping. Do your homework online. UPDATE 8/18: Received the furniture from Ornate Furniture in Southern CA today and it was EXACTLY the same furniture. To think they’re overpricing when the store is “closing” and these are supposed to be liquidation deals, I wonder how much people were ripped off at full prices. To be fair it wasn’t white glove and just curbside delivery, but it white glove wasn’t worth the price difference. I also don’t know if Rosso’s white glove was included in their 1k quote

I have been purchasing items for the past 20 years. Their service has always been good. This time very poor. They were more anxious in helping other customers than me. The furniture is good for the money. The office is very friendly and helpful. The next time I want to purchase something they will not be my fist stop because I did not feel I was appreciated in spending my money there. There is one rep who is excellent and I have worked with him before, he was not available this time to help me. I did purchase the dining set but with a lot of assertive on my part.

Really great experience at Rosso's. Salesman was friendly, knowledgeable and not pushy. We described our unique situation to him and he was able to guide us to products that would suit what we were looking for. Delivery time was fast and convenient. Overall selection of furniture was really nice and stylish.

My husband and I visited the Gilroy store and dealt with Andres. He took the time to listen to what we were looking for and was very no pressure. Unfortunately furniture being a major purchase took some time to figure out type, sizing, colors, needs etc. We ended up leaving to think it over. We went back a couple weeks later and once again Andres was fantastic help. He remembered us and what we had been looking for. Long story short, we figured it out and he helped us place our order. We're anxiously waiting for shipment (the orders are placed with the factory so it can take up to 8 weeks). Their selection is great, pricing is competitive and the help is beyond expectations. We highly recommend!!!

First impression walking in the store was very positive. Nice furniture with great display. My mom and I were happily greeted by David. He was very patient with us and all our multiple questions on the e z lift recliners. He was knowledgeable and explained all the differences to help my mom make a decision. We also looked at mattresses and he was great help in deciding on brand and type. I would highly recommend this store for anyone looking for nice furniture. Ask for David you will get great customer service with a smile and also very knowledgeable.

Carnitas Michoacán is a restaurant named after the western Mexican state, known for being the birthplace of savory carnitas. The region is also famous for being the main producer of avocados in Mexico and as the winter home for Monarch butterflies. The capital city, Morelia, boasts colorful historic colonial buildings and an aqueduct, earning it UNESCO World Heritage status.
Very friendly service and the atmosphere is super relaxing after a long day. Came up for my daughter's tournament and will definitely be coming back. Not sure on the other reviews, but the food, service and everything around was great.

Excellent attention, excellent price, carnitas are good, just not sure if because we arrived 1 hr before the closing time, carnitas were very salty... taste was not as great as I was expecting. Pozole was great, salsas, rice and beans were great too.

There weren't any other customers. We were seated and waited on personally. The salsa is delicious to start out with. My daughter went on and on about her lunch. I should have gotten what she did.

Amazing food. We catered for dinner from this restaurant last evening and were completely blown away by the food. Carnitas are out of this world delicious. Everyone loved the food. Really friendly service. They helped me get the food to my car which was super helpful.

Fantastic little restraunt. Full of activity and clearly a meeting place for the local community. I was warmly greeted when I walked in (in English if that's important to you lol) and after waiting for a few transactions it was my turn. I was on the hunt for pozole, but they didn't serve it today which is understandable. Pretty sure I saw they did have menudo though. So, I went with the standard, 3 carnitas tacos and a large jamaica. They ended up being massive lol. Maybe because I was starving, maybe it was the service and atmosphere, but they were honestly the best carnitas I've ever had. Truly LA NETA. Mil gracias mi amigos nuevos 💚 I plan on coming back 🙏💚

Barbecue restaurant
BBQ 152 is a classic, casual eatery in Gilroy that offers BBQ plates and sides, along with craft beers, TVs, and outdoor seating. In addition to their renowned BBQ offerings, the spot has recently gained popularity for its morning menu featuring hearty breakfast tacos and sandwiches. The breakfast taco comes in a flour tortilla with a choice of meat (pork, brisket, or tri-tip), eggs (scrambled or over easy), salsa ranchera, and jalapenos.
Awesome family establishment with great tasting food. The flavors are spot on with the offered sides. The pulled pork sandwich paired with the potato salad was awesome! Add some of the in-house spicy sauce, and BLAM! instant mouth watering smiles. The diner was adequate, which there is an outside patio for warmer days. The localized beer selection can get a little troubling - so many to choose from, but is cold and with plenty of options. It shouldn't be an issue. Stop by, and be sure to let the cook know if it was great - Family ran operations love to hear that!
Json S — Google review
What a gem of a BBQ spot in Gilroy. I’ve had good BBQ in New York, LA, and even Texas — but BBQ 152 really surprised me with how consistently flavorful and tender everything was. We got the meat combo with brisket, tri-tip, and pork ribs, and honestly, each one was excellent. The brisket had that perfect smoky bark and just melted in your mouth. The tri-tip was juicy and well-seasoned, and the pork ribs were fall-off-the-bone tender. You can tell they know what they’re doing here — no shortcuts. But what truly makes this place stand out is the owner. He’s one of the most genuinely kind and warm-hearted people I’ve met in the restaurant world. You can tell he really cares about his guests having a great time — not just a good meal. He chatted with us like we were old friends, lent my 10-year-old nephew a cowboy hat, and even brought him a little dessert just to make his day extra special. That level of hospitality is rare. The space itself has a casual, welcoming vibe. It’s unpretentious but full of heart. You feel like you’re at someone’s backyard cookout — except the food is next-level good. There’s also a San Jose location, but I’m glad we stopped by the original in Gilroy. If you’re anywhere near the area and love BBQ — or just warm, quality places run by good people — don’t miss this spot.

Amazing Brisket meat. My dogs loved the food and kept begging for more meat. The Brisket had a favorable smoke taste. Would definitely stop by if you are in the area. The only side I wish they added is mash potatoes. Another good thing about those place is that they are dog friendly!!

Both times I come the meat is on point. This time I ordered the Santa Maria salad and my husband ordered the 2 meat combo, ribs & brisket. The brisket was tender with great flavor. Ribs were ok for him. The beans totally missed the mark. If I could have given them 4 1/2 stars I would because the food is delicious.
Rosa B — Google review
Honestly this place was alright. Their brisket was tasty but not the best I had. I was not able to try their ribs but everything lacked taste and I thought it wasn’t fresh so Id give the overall food 3.5/5.
Eidmone T — Google review
Great roadside BBQ spot. Right when you pull in you can smell that yummy smoke in the air. We choose the 3 meat with two sides. Tri-tip, brisket, and pulled pork with beans and Mac & cheese for sides. Delicious, we tried both the spicy and sweet BBQ spaces. You can eat the meat without any space, it is that good.
Richard C — Google review
TLDR: Great atmosphere and service but with underwhelming portions and taste. All the food in the picture was for $83. Got two 3 choice meat deals (brisket, tri-tip, pulled pork, chicken, burnt ends, and ribs). Meat: brisket and ribs were most memorable because it was moist and tender. I wish try gave more meat for their portions. Sides: cornbread was slightly dry and minimal flavor. The Mac and cheese was good but wished they gave more. The coleslaw was oversauced. Service was quick and staff were friendly.

The smoked meat was amazing! I would give the meat 5 stars. The sides are okay, I give them a 3. I would definitely go back for the tri-tip, brisket, and chicken. I still need to try the pork. Atmosphere and service was great!

Mexican restaurant
If you're on the hunt for authentic Mexican cuisine, look no further than Super Taqueria Restaurant in Gilroy. This gem serves up a delightful array of tacos, burritos, and other beloved Mexican staples in a no-frills setting that prioritizes flavor over ambiance. One standout feature is their daily offering of Cabeza, which adds an exciting twist to your meal options.
Great places for Mexican food! Grilled beef (adado) and beef tongue (lengua) taste very juicy and chewy, no matter the taco or burrito, both are very flavorful! The portion is huge and the price is very inexpensive.

Tacos were as delicious as ever! Service was quick. Bathrooms were filthy.

Best tacos and burrito in Gilroy. The flavor and ingredients are excellent. My parents would hit up Super every time they came into town. Prices are very reasonable
Kenneth D — Google review
Over the years this place has gone from amazing to horrible. The customer service is okay, but the food is simply just plain salty and gross. This was my favorite place to eat tacos in all California, but it is no longer what it used to be. DO NOT RECOMMEND!! The quality of their meat has become horrible, too.
Paul S — Google review
Good real Mexican food. Tacos are great. Burrito was amazing. It's more food than you're expecting so order small and g9 back if you're still hungry. The super nachos are amazing.
Kate K — Google review
Really tasty carne asada burritos, tacos, quesadillas and tostadas. There red hot sauce is sooooo good. The green hot sause is delicious but not quite as spicy as the red. I sometimes buy a large container to bring home. They always have fresh Serrano peppers and cilantro if you ask for it. Their burritos are really big and moat of them are priced less than 10 dollars. Tostadas are also very reasonably priced . Where else can you get a carnitas tostada with quacamole for around four dollars. They have the best overall prices if you are trying to save a buck. They are really good at making your food to order just the way you like it. The one on 10th Street always has a line but they get you out quick. I am totally addicted to it.
Greg C — Google review
I ordered three burritos . The lazy preparer stacked up three tortillas on the heating machine burning the tortilla on the bottom and making soggy the tortillas overlapped . The tortillas on top weren't even warm (management has an obvious disregard for this staff ). It seems other people have complaint about the tortilla of the burritos on Yelp. Might as well give me a frozen tortilla. Soggy burrito (gross).

Besides the long wait in line, whether it's the Dine-In or Drive-Thru, the food is top notch (better than any other fast joint). Love the simple and minimal menu. Easy to order. Fast. Excellent service. Truly organized. Burgers and fries are as "organic" as they can get. Huge fan of In-n-Out.

One of the best fast food burger spots. Place is always crowded but managed efficiently. Prices are competitive. Parking lot with plenty of spaces. Indoor and outdoor dining.

This location has the nicest customer service I've had in a long time anywhere. They open the door and greet you. They all have a kind and friendly face. Damien (in the dine-in area) wiped down my table, asked if I wanted water while I waited and offered to help bring additional items to the table. So attentive and so appreciated especially after making the long drive. Food already speaks for itself. Simple and fresh.

I ordered a double no cheese protein style.... had to correct them which I thought I did nicely. Went to the 2nd window the lady said " since you changed ur whole order please wait in the front" Not exactly sure if they know what protein style is or if they've changed it since the last time I was at this location. But I thought protein style was wrapped in lettuce not a bun... but ok... thanks for a meal I cant eat.
Trini C — Google review
I come here at least once a month I love the burgers and fries usually get mine protein style with extra meat! Even though they don't really have many menu options they will still make your burger any way you want. Usually they don't mess up the order and they are well organized. This place is a staple in my town hoping they will put more menu items on one day.

Amusement park
Event venue
Gilroy Gardens Family Theme Park is a bustling amusement park that offers rides and attractions for the whole family. In addition to the park, Gilroy is known for its shopping opportunities, including outlet malls like the Gilroy Premium Outlets. The city also features unique locally owned businesses such as the Garlic Shoppe, catering to garlic enthusiasts with a variety of products.
If you haven't gone to Gilroy Gardens, and you have little ones, take them. The admission is alot more affordable then other amusement parks, with shorter line (plus if you have kids w/ no patience). This location is family friendly. We recently went to the Boo event (Halloween Vibes) but we have also gone during the summer when the water park is open, and during the season its included with admission. There is a parking fee, we do take our own waters and small snacks and its never been an issue. Your little ones will will enjoy it, they have coasters, a fun park, and shows through out the day.

We had a good time today with family at Gilroy Gardens. The trees and focus on nature and food is great. The landscaping is beautiful. They have a couple different water play areas one more for toddlers, another for bigger kids. It's ideal for little kids through day 10-12 years. They have swan boats and a train that runs around the perimeter. Unfortunately, some of the rides weren't working. Still we had a good time and will be back again for a couple more days.

Buy Tickets in Advance! Went for the Boo Bash. It was fun and they did a good job decorating and the theme of Halloween. Fires are for 6 and under. Lots of the same ride style but repurposed. Great price if you live in the area and do the annual pass. Food choices are a little sparse. It they do include Chick Fil A. The water park was closed but looked like it would be great for young families.

We went to Glory Garden during the Halloween season, so it was even more fun! There were a few designated spots for Trick or Treating, and the kids had such a great time with just that!
Sujin H — Google review
We used our Great America Gold pass to go to the Big Boo. You need to reserve your Boo ticket online using your Gold Pass on Gilroy Gardens website. There were about 8 candy stations and several shows to watch. The candy stations gave out 1-5 pieces of candy each and had 0-5 kids in line. The lines were very short for rides. We got dinner around 5pm and the wait was really long at Castroville corners. Plenty of tables! We will come again when it’s not raining.
Kris S — Google review
It was a great experience visiting the park with my 3 years old. It was a Halloween evening and the park had a complete vibe of it. Loved the rides (carousel, Strawberry ride, banana ride, train, pumpkin patch, Hotair balloon ride and many). Time just flew by and we couldn’t complete everything in this first visit, but had good time. Will come back soon. Plenty of parking. First stop is parking ticket, then after you park, it’s the entry ticket booth, after crossing that there is a security check and then it’s all fun stuff. The souvenir store is near the exit and had some good stuff. I felt there is not many food options inside the park.
Sharath P — Google review
Such great family fun. The park is awesome and I love seeing the same familiar faces when I bring my son here. He likes to bug the ride operators and ask them how everything works. Often times they know the answers to his questions which are pretty elaborate for an eight year old. I recommend getting a season pass because that's what we've always had and it just seems worth it especially since I live in Gilroy. The employees went above and beyond to help me locate my son's friend who has a bad habit of slipping away and hiding as a "joke". The employees handled it quickly and I spoke with a couple of men who work to keep the rides going, they are the real backbone of this park. I always fascinate over how such a large place can operate so smoothly. I can't stand the big amusement parks like Disney. This is a real non profit and education is around every corner if that is what you seek! Big shout out to Jess who saved my new iPhone last year when it slipped from my hand on timber twister AND Jess, once again saved the day when we got stuck on sky trail I was nervous and he quickly calmed me and had us off the ride in a jiffy! I buy all my friends and family with children tickets every year. I love that my kids get to grow with this as their big treat several times a year. Even better that is basically in our back yard! Thanks GG and team. You guys are pros and rock! Thanks for keeping the children safe and smiling!! P. S. Christmas is my favorite time of year at the park, summer can get sooooo hot, it's a good thing they added the water features for summer time!! I loved ice skating with my kids for their and our first times trying to ice skate!!

We had an amazing adventure at Gilroy Gardens!! With my 25,21, and 12 year old kids! So many fun rides and almost no one was there on a week day! So affordable, if I lived nearby I'd have a pass and we would be there all the time. We wish there were more 🧄 garlic themed gifts but the staff told us the tarrifs kept them from restocking. Boo! Besides that the environment is stunning, lots of beautiful plants, lots of shade and benches. All of the fruit and veggie themed rides made our lil hearts light. I think if they infused some life into the park with more themed events, brought in local artists to draw the park characters and rides, much like Knott's Berry Farm has done in the last few years they could drum up more interest and income. Bringing in local farm to table events in their beautiful event spaces would be magical. Such a beautiful place has so much potential!!

Golf course
Eagle Ridge Golf Club is a renowned 18-hole public golf course located in the Silicon Valley, offering a top-notch golfing experience amidst the picturesque foothills near the Monterey Wine Country region. The championship course boasts breathtaking views, rolling hills, and three scenic lakes. Golfers can enjoy a well-equipped practice facility with a driving range, two putting greens, and a practice bunker.
Rhis was a great course. Met my buddy here as a halfway point and plaued 18. Great experience, we were paired with 2 others whom we had a great time with. This course seems to have a positive, helpful staff. The process from check-in to first tee was easy..... they even clean your clubs at the last green, which is freaking sweet.... the only thing keeping this place from 5 stars is the PACE OF PLAY. While we had a great round, it took just OVER 5 HOURS, which is ridiculous. The problem wasn't the pair in front of us but the foursome in front of them.... I know everyone has to learn the game somehow and somewhere, but if you can't even make contact within a few swings, you do not need to be on a course but at the range.... this is a problem, of course. Most places have as they stack people on top of one another all the time... I will be back, just hoping for a faster round next time
Steven S — Google review
I’ve been a member of the Men’s Club here for a few years (great group of guys!), and while the course layout is solid and the clubhouse staff and greenskeepers do an excellent job with what they have, it’s obvious the folks at the very top don’t care about the course or its condition. For the prices being charged, the course and practice facilities should be improving. The range balls are old and many are cracked or gouged. The food situation is just as bad—the restaurant is rarely open. Wedgwood, separate company, only cares about their wedding events, not golfers. This place has so much unrealized potential. The outdoor seating area could be a perfect spot for brunch or dinner, and with proper care and investment, this course could be one of the best around. Unfortunately, it seems the owner doesn’t care enough to take care of the property. Hopefully this changes soon as Gilroy continues to grow.
Brandon G — Google review
It was my first visit with my husband and I was looking forward to it, but as expected, it was a really beautiful course. It was maintained in its natural state and the surrounding scenery was perfect. Since it was the weekend and they were preparing for the wedding, it looked perfect for the event. But the green condition was really bad. The repair part was protruding, so it was uneven. Also, the allergy-inducing weeds around the fairway were so lush that I couldn't find the ball. It's a not easy course, but it seems to need price-appropriate management.
M P — Google review
Tucked in scenic canyons and surrounded by beautiful homes, Eagle Ridge offers stunning views and a tough, rewarding round. Open yet tight fairways and unforgiving greens demand precision, but the good pace of play makes it a joy to play.
Gene B — Google review
53$ rate for reward members for 1.5 hours of golf (63$ for non-members!?) They advertise a 35$ rate for 2024. Tons of ground under repair and thin grass. Very difficult course as well. 53$ is bananas for the product received.
Thomas W — Google review
Our group came from out of town to play what was touted as a well maintained wonderful place to play. We played here over 20 years ago and had expectations it would be a great day of golf. We per paid $95 per person. No one at the course nor did the website alert our group the greens were punched and sanded. Also the rest of the course had clover all over as well as weeds and dead spots. This course is not worth the cost to play. I have played city course that were in better condition at $40. We do not recommend this course at all.
Nick D — Google review
This course has so much potential if it was properly maintained and watered. You can tell they’ve let it go. Not worth $113, I’ve played many munis that are in much better shape! poa/weeds/dead spots all over the greens, weeds every where from tee box to fairway. You drive in thinking it’s going to be a nice course with all the beautiful homes but it was such a let down. 5hr 45min round, no Marshals. Waited every shot. The employees were friendly, I was really impressed with the cart lady. We saw her 6 times! Wish we would have played San Juan Oaks for $60 more
Chad K — Google review
I used to enjoy this track many years ago. My wife and I just played it again on Sunday as we were visiting the Bay area … what a big disappointment! The layout is still great but the course condition is so bad … weeds everywhere from tee to green. I have seen some muni in better condition. This might be the last time we play this course.

Nestled just a few minutes from Gilroy, Chitactac-Adams County Park offers an immersive experience into the Native American history of Santa Clara County. Spanning 4.5 acres, this park provides insight into the lives of the Ohlone tribe who inhabited the area around 3000 years ago. The lush rainforest-like landscape is meticulously maintained with wooden rails outlining the trails.
Great little park with clean restrooms and a nice little walking trail next to the creek. Has a few picnic tables and benches, and a historical exhibit of indigenous Indians of California. Nice place to visit or just make a pit stop.
Tony C — Google review
Very small & purpose-built as a place to educate local field trips on essential Native heritage. This is so important, & worth putting in place, so I’m thankful it’s there—but otherwise there’s little here to make it worthwhile for outside visitors. The trail is a small circle & doesn’t access anything outside itself. Lots of acorn-grinding holes, so the historical value is immense, & it could be an interesting side-destination, but there’s not enough for it to be a primary reason to come to the area.
Kaliador18 — Google review
It was a cute little hike on a rainy day. It has historical information on the local tribes and features some of the stones they would use to grind up acorns. Would love to come back with my kiddo. Good for kids and could even see this as a food field trip spot for homeschoolers or regular schoolers.
Jeanette — Google review
This is a quaint little park/picnic area! Great place for a picnic since there are plenty of picnic tables throughout the park. There is also a great informational hut located on the property that talks about the historical aspect of the park. If you are looking for a challenging hiking spot I would not recommend Chitactac-Adams as we were able to walk the entire trail in less than 10 minutes.
Geneva P — Google review
Smaller park, but great interactive displays about the original peoples of the area. Many sites with grinding pits hammered out of the bedrock. Please do not pass the signs/barriers and climb on the rocks, as we saw several idiots do.

Wineries & Vineyards
Kirigin Cellars, established in 1916 on 33 acres of land, is one of the oldest wineries in California. The winery features vineyards, rose bushes, and cricket lawns that create a picturesque setting for wine enthusiasts. Visitors can enjoy the old-world decor and traditional hospitality while sampling a variety of estate wines during wine tasting experiences.
Just as we were getting comfy, the tasting room transformed into a lively hotspot courtesy of a busload of revelers. Yet Pam, the one-woman wine whirlwind, effortlessly kept up, doling out pours and charm with impressive finesse – and miraculously recalling every conversation. We had a jolly good time and got the best wine on the house! Drop by if you are here! You will love it and felt reluctant to leave…like me! Next time, I will join a wine tour. They had so much fun!

An Unforgettable Champagne Tasting Experience! I recently had the absolute pleasure of attending a sold-out champagne tasting with small bites event at our local winery, and it was truly an exceptional evening from start to finish. Our host, Rob, was simply fantastic. His knowledge of champagne was extensive, and he shared it in such an engaging and approachable way. He managed to keep the entire audience captivated throughout the tasting, striking the perfect balance between being incredibly informative and wonderfully entertaining. You could feel his passion for the subject, and it was infectious! The selection of champagnes was exquisite, each perfectly paired with thoughtfully crafted small bites that truly enhanced the tasting experience. Every sip and every bite was a delight, and Rob's explanations of the nuances of each champagne made the experience even richer. It's clear why this event was sold out – it's a testament to the quality of the wines, the delicious food, and especially to Rob's incredible ability to host and educate. I left feeling not only satisfied but also much more knowledgeable about champagne. If you ever have the chance to attend an event hosted by Rob at the winery, do not hesitate! It's an experience you won't want to miss

We’ve been visiting this place since 2019 and used to love it—the first couple of visits were warm and welcoming. But something has definitely changed. We went again in 2024 and now today, Sept 13, 2025, and both times felt completely unwelcome. Today there was a wedding and everything but the tasting room was closed. I understand private events happen, but it felt like they didn’t care about anyone else. The older woman with semi-short hair was downright rude—when my wife politely asked where to check in (just following the sign outside), she snapped back, “Check in for what? We’re closed.” Then added that we’d have to buy a tasting or a bottle just to walk around. If all the grounds are closed, why even sell access? Just put a sign outside saying you’re closed for an event. Even back in 2023 we were rushed out around 4:20 p.m. because they were eager to close. Whether ownership changed or not, the friendly vibe we once loved is long gone. Sadly, today was our last visit.
Chirag R — Google review
Loved the old school archectiture of the tasting room. This is a big facility. We were served by Rob, who gave us information about the wines being offered. I liked the Cab best, which had deep color, legs, and big finish. Also loved the Rose, made from Zin grapes and very balanced!
JD R — Google review
The woman there, forgot name, blonde, long hair, middle aged. Very unwelcoming. Made a comment with irritation that she "never had to learn how to" do something very basic in all her years there. She made me feel bad because I was an inconvenience. By saying "shes never had to do this" not with humor, and grace but with a cold aggression in extreme irritation. She works at a winery and was mad she had to learn a new task. Made me uncomfortable. I joined the club and realized she didnt even give me a shipment. I walked away with no wine and feeling humiliated. I still have the membership because I want the wine. But the tasting room lady really sucks. She should enjoy her job regardless. She works at a winery for crying out loud. So ungrateful for patrons and her job. As for the rest if the employees, Sometimes they're nice, Sometimes they all have attitude problems. The wine is good. The patio is cute. Used to be able to go on the grass but I hear it's difficult now. We'll see if the membership is worth it.

My family of 10 (including 3 kids/babies) came here on a holiday weekend. We showed up around 10:30am and easily found parking. The grounds are beautiful (we saw a wedding being set up) and we were able to snap a few pictures before it was closed off for the wedding. We ate some snacks and enjoyed some wine in the shaded picnic table area which was great. It wasn't too hot and it allowed our toddler daughter to walk around without disrupting others. We tasted wine inside. We were quickly greeted and helped by Pam. She was absolutely great. She was very knowledgeable about the wines (educated us about the grapes, tasting notes, and award winning wines) and helped us decide which wines best suited our individual palates. She was very sweet and made us sure we had a wonderful time while still pouring for others (it was busy by the time we left!). We had a great time and look forward to coming back. Thank you, Pam for taking care of my large group!

Location and atmosphere 10/10 the main reason for our visits. That along with being pet and family “friendly”. I have been going to this location late 2020 during pandemic it was perfect for social distance fun with friends with a glass of some wine. I liked so much had a Gold membership for 2 years. It became the mom group oasis. Until Customer service and wine itself was inconsistent along with their “policy”. Their policy is something that the employees know but depends on the day and the mood if they want to enforce anything. Many empty weekdays employees were chill and let us stay all day. Back in 2021 they had 2 hour time limits and they said that was due to the pandemic but they are more lax these days. Today a Monday with a handful of people at picnic tables, 0 in tasting area and 0 in picnic area, our group of 3 adults arrive with our total 5 children. I go in to check in at 12:45pm advised we were going to enjoy the picnic area. Bill was awesome got my bottles of wine I payed for opened one bottle and try to convince me of a membership as I told him I cancelled due to price increases and bad experiences. I told him I would reconsider since he sold me and I would discuss with my husband. Come 3pm a salt and pepper bearded man told my group while I was at the bathroom that they were having an event tomorrow and needed to begin set up in the space so they can leave by 5. And asked to move from the location. So when I arrived back from the restroom we moved to a different grass area. Then a lady on her golf cart comes by and says we need to leave now rudely. We begin packing our stuff and gathering our 5 kids items when the man comes back. He said was I not clear. I said no and communication was lacking like your sign says 4:45pm and she said leave now at 3:30pm. He was semi apologetic saying they have an event tomorrow (a Tuesday) and their employees want to leave at 5 so need to set up now and that they have a policy of 1 bottle per hour per adult. I said Bill never mentioned this policy when we purchased the bottles. We could have purchased more wine if it was expressed to us the policy at any point besides after they advice us to leave the picnic area before closing. My friend wanted to buy wine and go to picnic tables but I was beyond irritated by the treatment I left. There is no written visible policy there or online on time limits or minimum purchases. Actually the owner wrote on yelp that 2 wine bottles purchased per household was limit to picnic, no time limit listed. They are inconsistent on when they want to enforce their “policy”. I am glad interaction happened as solidified things haven’t changed that they aren’t friendly. I have enjoyed all the tasting specialists. But grounds people were rude. Telling my kids not to play on grass because they want to water it. Or don’t go near the flowers. All the rules make sense if it was consistent, clearly stated and kindly explained. We aren’t there to fight but to enjoy ourselves with the views, wine and company. I did not renew membership and I am on the hunt for a winery for my family and friends.

Diners rave about the freshness of the food, with highlights including a delicious chicken sandwich and an underrated smash taco bursting with flavor.
Food tasted fresh! French fries were amazing. The chicken sandwich was delicious, a little bit too much mayo for my liking but overall a solid sandwich. The cheeseburger was delicious The smash taco is underrated and I wish I would have ordered three of those because it was so amazing with flavor with the taco sauce Definitely recommend trying out this place. service was fast and they were all friendly and environmental was clean!

Amazing burgers and fries for the price! They have multiple different beers available on tap all locally made! I really like their garlic fries and their garlic burger they intergrate into the patty! Service is pretty friendly and dogs are allowed on the patio!

Love the fries, good crunch. Tried some Garlic 🍟 fries also...yummy. Got a cheeseburger 🍔 was just ok...was hoping it would be "fresh" but can totally tell it is a frozen product which obviously lacked flavor. Service was just ok..not as friendly as I expected or other places that I have been to for the first time. Atmosphere was cool though, loved seeing all the posters of Bay area sports team. Especially of the Warriors 👍

Ordered a salad then asked if the dressing did not have sugar in it which seemed to be an issue for the counter person to ask the kitchen staff. Once I gave up on the salad I ordered the chicken wings. The wings were hot & came out quickly. They were good sized & edible. I also ordered a tap beer which was served after the wings. I had to ask the server to bring me the beer. Weird place. Unlikely I’ll be back.

I remembered that I didnt like the garlic fries as they are dry and just covered in garlic salt and parmesan cheese. So I ordered the garlic burger and regular fries.... it was a mistake. The top bun/cheese patty is covered in the same parmesan and garlic salt/powder mixture drying out the entire burger. Pretty sure I didnt get the garlic aoli either as it was very mayo and onion tasting. My dinner is now fries and a milkshake as I threw out the burger. I was reminded why we dont go here often but we were there for a school fundraiser. Both the garlic burger and garlic fries on the menu say fresh garlic but unfortunately thats not the case. They were also out of peanut butter for the milkshake. Service and atmosphere were minimal as we went through the drive thru. Previously have loved the wings. They were very fatty this time. Not sure why this experience was so different from previous times where everything was good but again, things have clearly changed in the last year or so.

The cashier seems very kind and friendly to everyone, except when you have break outs or skin problems . He looked at me with disgust the whole time. The food runner just came to the table and threw the food away. When I turned around, she had run away too fast. I didn't get a chance to ask for ketchup. After the poor service from both people, my chicken sandwich came. The chicken tasted dry and old. I couldn't finish it, and with the employees' attitude, I didn't dare ask for a refund. The Gilroy Garlic Fries were okay. Everything else was horrible. I'll never return.

Great place, upscale burger place with beer on tap. Service was quick. Downside : fries need something, I got the garlic fries but they need some garlic aoli. Condiments need to be on the table. Or a condiment bar. Also the pickles overpowered the burger. They use a clawson cold pack style of pickles that have a super strong flavor. Have them put on the side. The rest was great. It's a wonderful spot.

The burger was AMAZING. (the fries were cold, but they brought me another order and they were perfect!) Great service! The shakes were amazing too! Table was kinda sticky, but not gonna complain.

Bar & grill
Westside Grill is a beloved family-owned eatery and bar that has been serving up classic American grill dishes since 2006. Located in Gilroy, CA, this popular dining spot is known for its top-notch service, generous portions, and inviting ambiance. Whether you're craving ahi tuna salad or steak and scallops, the restaurant offers a variety of dishes to satisfy both adults and kids.
What started as a quick breakfast on the way back from Carmel to San Jose, Westside Grill knocked us out of the park with its beautiful outdoor dining, great service, and fantastic food. Parking is incredibly easy to find since it’s in a commercial area. When we arrived we were seated in the outdoor dining area which is more of a courtyard, in a good way. The interior is very nice as well with TVs, a bar, definitely a much more intimate feel. Either way, the outdoors has umbrellas so you don’t feel too burdened by the heat. We were greeted by our amazing server who was very attentive to us throughout the entire meal, making small talk and just having a great energy. That’s one that stuck out here, the service was incredible and very on top of it. We never lifted a finger or worried about a thing, it was all taken care of before a thought could occur. Onto the food, we ordered the buttermilk pancakes with a side of bacon, the breakfast burrito, and some coffee. Coffee is always pretty much whatever you make for yourself so nothing special there. What was special was the size of the food we got. In California we are so used to shrinkflation but the burrito was the size of a human head, it was incredible. On top of that the cost of the food was good, the value was apparent. Some places make big portions but lose their quality in the process, not here. The pancakes were light and fluffy, just delicious. The bacon was crispy, not overcooked; floppy, not soggy. The breakfast burrito was out of this world. At first we had to come up with a plan of attack on how we wanted to approach this monster but after the first bite it was so damn good we threw the plan out the window. The hash brown that came with the burrito? Also great, salty and crunchy, but again not over or under cooked. By the end of the meal we were shocked. Between the beautiful outdoor dining area, the food, the service, price, everything; this was such a wonderful surprise that really caught us off guard. Unfortunately for us, this is in Gilmore, not anywhere near us. However, it was largely unanimous amongst our group that if this place was anywhere closer or if we lived in Gilmore, we would be here without fail every single weekend. Unbelievable food, unbelievable value. Please do yourself a favor and come out to Westside Grill, you won’t regret it.

Went on New Year's Eve for the first time. Sat at the bar and the staff was extremely friendly and the service was great. Food was pretty good atmosphere was friendly and busy. Restaurant seemed clean and dessert which was carrot cake was delicious. We were very happy with the food and service it is a nice casual to upscale dining experience. It was a little pricey so we won't go as often as preferred.

This is located near the Gilroy downtown. We went for dinner on the weekend and had to wait for 15mins for a table. The food was okay. The service and the atmosphere was good. They have a good amount of parking. The restrooms were clean. They have a variety of cocktail options.

Dude, this is such the great breakfast spot on Sunday. I’m not normally on this area but on a drive back from down south up 101 and needing a bite, couldn’t have chosen better. We had avocado toast. Had a fried egg in top of avocado and a little water cress garnish. Perfectly toasted bread. Breakfast burrito (flour tortilla, scrambled eggs, chorizo, avocado, tomatoes, pinto beans, jack and white cheddar) was huge and then it came with hashed brown on the side too. Denver scramble (ham, onion, bell pepper, jack and cheddar) was as huge as the burrito but felt lighter without the tortilla. Omelette… same story. Had a fruit salad on the side with this one. I can’t remember our servers name but she was super nice. We sat outside under an umbrella on a pretty hot day but it was quite tolerable. Looking forward to my next opportunity to visit.

Westside Grill is a great restaurant in Gilroy. Their menu is considerable offering tasty appetizers, entrees, pasta, burgers & sandwiches, farm fresh salads, and daily specials! They have a large, festive bar area where you can dine. It’s an awesome full bar with specialty cocktails and draft beers. The service is quick and on point! Westside Grill is great for couples, families, and even has room to host larger groups.

The food was great, service was too, they serve breakfast until 2! (At least on Saturday when we visited). Blue cheese burger was what I had, with fries. Good sized burger, plenty of fries.

I've been going to Westside Grill from San Jose for over a decade. I was just there the other day when the manager came over and offered to remake my salad because she saw me picking out the blue cheese. I had totally forgotten to ask that they make it without but when she came over and insisted, it reminded me how awesome their service is. I have never had a less then amazing meal, service, or seen anything out of order. From birthday dinners, date night, lunches, big holiday dinner parties, weekend brunch, and just because, they have always been exceptional. I used to wonder why they didn't have a big sign advertising their location but it's clear, they don't need one. Thanks guys!!! You're the best!!!

Restaurant
Tacos Ameca is a popular Mexican eatery located on the west side of Monterey. The restaurant offers a casual, airy counter service and is known for its delicious tacos, quesadillas, and housemade tortillas. It's situated amidst a bustling area with various businesses and shops. The outdoor plancha at Tacos Ameca attracts many locals, especially on Saturday nights.
Finally tried the OG Tacos Ameca! We got the super burrito with lengua and a steak quesadilla. Everything was delicious, and they have an open salsa bar. The flavor is great, and the portions are generous!
Alice H — Google review
The restaurant offers convenient parking, which is a plus. Prices are average and the portion sizes are generous. We ordered vegetarian burritos, but they were mostly filled with rice and had minimal beans and other fillings, which was a bit disappointing. The hygiene was okay overall, but the indoor ventilation needs improvement—there was a noticeable amount of meat smoke inside. I would recommend sitting outdoors if possible. The service was average, and while the interior wasn’t extremely dirty, it could have been cleaner. An okay experience, but there’s room for improvement.

They have long operating hours, 9am - 10pm. Quick service with very delicious authentic Mexican food. The taco tortillas are made fresh to order, as well as the tortilla chips. We had the tacos asada and tacos carnitas.

Many options on the menu👍🏻, but would be better if there was some brief English translation, because I dont understand the language and hence didnt even know what meat options were available. Fortunately, the young girl at the cashier patiently explained the options to me and recommended the marinated pork which I opted for. Service is great here. If you order the tacos, you are basically just given the toppings on top of the plain tacos. You can add your own condiments at the self-service area. I ordered chicken, marinated pork and beef tongue, all 3 meat were cooked nicely. Tacos are soft and soaks up the meat juices, nothing special. The shop looks quite clean with plenty of seating, can accommodate 40 pax as claimed.

The photos are amazing! We’d never been here before, but were encouraged by the dining room being so busy—and we were famished! My daughter failed to eat her Birria Taco Plate, stating that it tasted off from others she’s experienced. Needless to say, she didn’t eat much. I, on the other hand, had the Taco Plate Verde and found it delicious. The fountain drinks, particularly the lemonade, had a peculiar flavor to it, as if the machine houses bacteria. And the satisfying Taco Plate Verde was less satisfying when I was forced to speed to the nearest restroom, after we left. I felt better about 45 minutes and 10 lbs. less—and was forced to abandon clothing on a public park bathroom. 😭 Unfortunately, it isn’t an activity I plan to repeat. And I’m a little jealous of my daughter who didn’t eat much.

A very small Mexican restaurant but the food is the absolute best. My regular is a brisket burrito. My husband goes for the brisket tacos with the grilled jalapeño and onions. They have lots of drink options as well. Decent seating. Parking is terrible. Not the cleanest place but I haven’t seen any sign of pests or bugs so it’s good enough for me!

Located in Gilroy, California, the Gilroy Garlic USA RV Park is a great option for camping enthusiasts. The park offers a range of amenities including a fenced dog park, complimentary coffee bar, and a recreation room. It's also conveniently situated near attractions such as the San Luis Reservoir State Recreation Area and beautiful beaches like Santa Cruz and Monterey.
I’ve been living here for almost a year and the management. Sonny and his crew are considerate, respectful, and always want to be helpful when needed. I recommend staying here if there’s ever a problem Sonny and his crew is on it just let them know in the front office. It’s close to that stores walking distance and he’s always having little events for the holidays that includes the children, which makes it a 5+.

George M — Google review
This rating is no reflection of the friendliness and hospitality we received. In fact those in of itself were a 5 star. Very nice host and very accommodating. The rating is just that. It's not a 5 star resort. Like a 3+. Yes some of the reviews mention full-timer rv'rs, but they were all friendly and quiet. There arent many places to take your dog to do their business. They have a beautiful entrance with grass as pictured, but pups arent allowed on it. So, when we showed up hours after checkin, there was old, dried poop in our site that an irresponsible pet owner left and/or wasn't cared for by park staff. I couldn't get into the west bathroom. Apparently there is a special procedure for that. Maybe it leads to Fort Knox. That could be improved on. I need to add and agree with others who pointed out, that navigating through the park, can be challenging/tight for a big rig and Toad. It would help if management would not allow residents to leave their personal vehicles parked out in the roadway in some spots. On a positive note, I must say the spots were concrete, very long, wide and very level, almost to were I didn't need leveling jacks. Probably the most level spot I've ever been in, which was very nice. Utilities all worked great, no obstructions for satellite, and it was quiet. Overall, it was a decent park. Good for a night or two, but I wouldn't make it a destination, or long term stay.

Overpriced, and is more of a place people stay long term. I booked last minute, reviews seemed decent and pictures looked great but it is tight to get a fifth wheel in, very cluttered from the people who live there long term and bathrooms were absolutely disgusting.

Gilroy Garlic is our go to RV park in Gilroy. This is our 9th visit in the 20 years of full time travel. The pull through sites are wide and total paved in concrete. On this visit we did notice a large number of full time residents with some of this sites a bit messy. It would be nice to require them to keep them cleaner. However, that did not affect our visit!
Pete M — Google review
Just left there after a fun 5 day stay with the Modesto Elks RV group. Even while experiencing inclement weather, the staff bent over backwards to make our stay memorable.Complimentary coffee bar daily, fenced dog park on premises. The recreation room was reserved exclusively for our group for the length of our stay. We enjoyed a tasty slow-cooked rib dinner with all the fixings prepared by Paul “the BBQ Dude,” for a very modest price. The office staff will happily arrange for a welcome gathering with appetizers and beverages on site, nearby golf, group wine tastings, and discounts at local eateries. This RV park is conveniently located near premium shopping outlets, historic sites, Gilroy Gardens, and many more attractions. For those hot days, there is a very inviting pool available to guests. Our camper club has already reserved to return next year -check it out!

3/31/25 Our last stay was great but now the place is getting run down, The bathrooms aren't as clean the landscaping needs help and there are many phomeless people living outside the RV park! Talking to others.. there have been items stolen. We have stayed here many times but it doesn't feel safe to go for walks like we used to. It's sad really. I don't know if we will be back. A sign of the times I'm afraid... Old post The RV park is clean and everyone is so friendly. Walking distance to restaurants and stores. The staff is the best and super dog friendly. They have treats in the office for daily dog visits. The park is quiet. The sites are clean cement slabs and trees. Very clean. I highly recommend Gilroy Garlic USA RV park! Lived my week here. We will be back! Thanks!

Customer service is outstanding. We booked last minute. The staff was professional, knowledgeable, had our reservation confirmed in a very timely manner. We really felt welcome and treated with kindness. Both back-in and pull-through sites are available and were large enough for all size RVs and a tow vehicle. All sites are all full pads with FHU and cable TV. The facilities are all clean and well maintained. I really appreciated access to a computer and printer at the office, and the option to have my mail forwarded. There is also a propane filling station. Getting around in a wheelchair was no problem, and we received multiple offers for additional assistance should we need it. We definitely want to come back.

On a 4.5 hour drive back to LA after this meal, we struggled to find any redeeming qualities about Old City Hall. At least it gave us a laugh? Food: Terrible. The attached photos (aside from the burger) are before we touched anything. Everything looked physically thrown on the plates. And it's like, the food was wrong in both directions, in every case. The Cubano was burnt but underdone. The fries were undercooked and overcooked. The pasta salad had been boiled 40 minutes, chilled, then placed under a heat lamp. The "crostini" was dry but untoasted. They asked for a temperature on the smash burger, which is never a good sign, and indeed it was not smashed. It was the kind of meal that makes you wonder if you're going to be sick later. Service: It took 10 minutes for a host to arrive to seat us, then another 10 for our server to appear. The first thing she said was that she was quitting, and the other table she had was complaining a lot. Usually I side with the staff on these matters, but I came to realize the other table probably had a point. The restaurant was probably at 30% capacity, maybe 8 tables, and there were 3 servers working at least. And they were very clearly in the weeds. I don't know where the breakdown happened but something is not working here. Also, look at the mustard bottle. That label has not been changed in years. Absolutely horrifying. Atmosphere: The exterior is the one place Old Town Hall has any positive. The building was once the Old Town Hall, and it has cool bones. But what they've done with the inside looks like the "before" of an episode of Kitchen Nightmares. It's ugly, brown, disgusting, outdated, and absolutely unwelcoming in every regard. I hate to give a one star review unless something catastrophic happens but Old Town Hall is a catastrophe. What boggles my mind is it's featured in local "Welcome to Gilroy" printed materials and websites. Maybe it was once good, but as it stands, Old City Hall needs serious help.

We went here for dinner. I had Shrimp Scampi and my husband had Calamari Steak. I'm used to Scampi having a prominent white wine and garlic flavor. This version was bland. The sauce was mostly butter with a hint of wine. I wouldn't order it again. My husband loved his Calamari Steak, which did have a lot of garlic.

This beautiful building was once the City Hall and the architecture reflects it. In addition to the great setting the garlic burger was very tasty. Good service and reasonable prices as well. The lack of garlic ice cream was very disappointing however- I came to Gilroy for over the top garlic and heard the ice cream was one of the more interesting things to try. So they lost a star because of that but overall a very nice spot!

I’ve been to this salon several times and loved every experience. I’d probably go here more if it was closer to me. I’ve had a gel manicure, a pedicure, and my favorite was the head spa experience. It was my first time having a scalp massage like this, which combined a hair/scalp analysis, hair mask, facial, and shoulder/neck massage….and it felt amazing and so soothing! I would recommend to try this at least once. The owner is very friendly and helpful, and every staff member I’ve encountered here is professional. Their facility is nicer than the typical salon, with very tasteful decor and a relaxing vibe. Anytime I’m in the neighborhood, this is likely the only salon I would visit.

A very beautifully set up spa. An eye pleasing look from every corner. No massage chairs though I opted for an upgraded pedicure. I think the extra was a mask which was just dropping the towels around your feet for 10 minutes. The pedicure itself was pretty basic.

So today was my birthday and I am a cosmetologist so I normally do my own nails but this was kinda a big birthday so I wanted to teat me and my sister out to a spa day this was her first experience getting nails done in a salon by someone other then me the service said it was 60$ and we called and asked they said yes but sometimes it's more but they would let us know how much upon arrival after they saw the picture we checked in about 5 mins before our appointment we were not seen until about 15 or 20 mis after our appointment time (they were busy i get it) but when we were seated and showed our nail techs the pictures nothing was said about the price. My sister and her nail tech got along okay, but she was nervous to talk because she didn't want to be ignored. I tried talking to my tech mimi a few times, and I was ignored and talked over as she was talking to Swan doing my sister's nails. It got awkward, so I started talking to my sister, and every time we tried to even talk to each other, they would get louder, so we didn't talk. When she was preping my nails she asked who last cut my nails i told her i had to cut my nail on that hand because i had a broke the nail and just saw it best to cut it. Then she glued my nail tips on and asked me how short I told her, and she sighed and said okay. Asked how that was and I asked for a little shorter and said i work retail and type and was worried my nails would get caught in between the keys so she did them a bit shorter but not much and I asked my sister what she thought and mimi said ugh it's fine! And continued with the service I asked if we could still do coffin nails and she said its fine we will shape them later but I saw swan shaping my sister's nails before the acrylic on thats also the way I learned but everyone has their own style. After the acrylic she asked how the shape was i mentioned that some were coffin and others were uneven and square shape and I asked if they could be shorter she sighed and kept working and the whole time tapping my hand telling me to relax (if I was anymore relaxed I would have been asleep) as if i already didn't feel uncomfortable when she started painting she asked if I wanted a darker green i said yes and she sighed stood up and seemed really irritated with me. She started again, and I guess my hand twitched, and she said if I moved again, she couldn't continue with the service it took everything in me, not to cry at this point. After the service she put cuticle oil on my nails and she said I need to start useing nail oil or hand lotion or something because I had to meny hang nails when truth be told I pick at my nails when I get nervous. When I got home I had to fix the shape as much as I could without compromising my design that I just paid 85$ for and felt pressure to tip after seeing the 20% customary tip sign (i think it should be based on quality i usually tip my hair dresser very well because i get amazing service and amazing hair) and got told at the desk that they wanted cash tip instead of my card 🙃.... all I wanted was a relaxing day with my sister for my birthday. Instead, this almost killed my whole day being treated like this. The design was cute but not worth how I was treated. I don't think I'll ever be back.......

Had such a great pedicure with **Kim**! She was super sweet and really took her time to make sure everything looked perfect. The foot massage was amazing—I seriously could’ve fallen asleep. The salon was clean, cozy, and had a super chill vibe. There were tons of polish colors to choose from, and Kim helped me pick the perfect shade. My toes look so good and I feel totally refreshed. Definitely coming back to see Kim again. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a relaxing pedicure and great service!

I had a 9:00 a.m. appointment with Swan. I arrived on time but had to wait 12 minutes because she was late. After receiving the service, I went to the front to pay and immediately noticed a sign stating that a 20% tip is recommended. Once I inserted and removed my card, the cashier quickly flipped the register toward me and asked, “How much would you like to tip?” while pointing to the sign and adding, “A 20% customary tip is recommended.” I felt so pressured and embarrassed that I ended up tipping. Please Pure Lavender Day Spa (Owner) spare me the reply “Hi, we are so sorry about your negative experience at our store. We'd like to learn more about your specific situation and make things right. If you wouldn't mind giving us a call our store number at your earliest convenience, it would be greatly appreciated. We look forward to speaking with you and working towards earning back your business.” Instead reflect on your business’ criticism. A tip is traditionally a gesture of appreciation for service, not an obligation. Instead of pressuring, the business could simply display a sign saying “Tips are appreciated” or provide optional percentages on the card reader without verbally pressuring clients. Personally being pressured to tip regardless of punctuality feels unfair.

I used to enjoy the services at the spa during my first few visits, but my experience changed after my fourth visit. I had made an appointment for a gel fill, but unfortunately, the acrylic wasn’t applied correctly and didn’t attach to my nails properly, leading to lifting and chipping within just two days. I called the technician, she agreed to fix my nails. She asked me to come in on Tuesday since she is usually off on weekends. When I arrived, she realized that all of my nails needed to be redone. During the appointment, the technician asked if I wanted to change my nail color as well. I replied yes, thinking it wouldn’t be an issue since she had to redo all of them. Everything seemed to be going smoothly until the owner came up to me clearly in a rush, and asked if I could pay for my service. I was puzzled and questioned why I was being charged since the technician was fixing my nails. The owner explained that because I changed my color, there was an additional charge of $40. Confused, I asked again why I was being charged to fix my nails. She apologized but reiterated that my total was $40. Despite her apology, I felt I had no choice but to hand over my card. At that point, I was incredibly upset, as it seemed unreasonable to pay extra just to have my nails repaired. To make matters worse, she said she would give me a 10% discount, which meant I was only charged $30. This left me even more upset, especially since I had just paid about $50 five days earlier. In total, my gel fill cost me $70 and that not including tips I felt bad for the technician, who seemed embarrassed by the situation, as it wasn’t her fault that the owner was charging me. Unfortunately, due to this experience, I will not be returning to the spa. They have terrible customer service, and I feel like I was ripped off. Save your money and find another nail salon.

I just had the scalp spa with Trisha and I LOVED it! It was super relaxing, it felt amazing, and all the products smelt so good! I loved that she showed me a close up of my scalp before and after the service. You can tell she has a passion for what she does. Highly recommend her and everyone else at Pure Lavender.

Let me just start by saying upon walking in the spa, it’s cleanliness is amazing compared to most I’ve been. The staff is super friendly and accommodating upon being shown to the waiting room I was given chamomile tea (my choice) as they have other options, this was my first time at this spa and I got a Best of both Body massage and Relaxing head spa - 45min body massage then 45min of scalp care & Facial massage, scrub and it was such a relaxing experience. I booked with Nora and upon greeting one another right off the bat she was super friendly, I am also 4 months postpartum and had many areas that were tense and she massaged them right out and the head spa treatment was needed and a must made my hair feel more alive since having a baby. I’m feeling great today and slept amazing last night and hair is feeling soft and Lucious! Highly recommend Nora 😇 pic for reference to the waiting room it’s quite lovely!

Breakfast here was great. Ordered the Steak Ranchero's with eggs, food was great and came with handmade corn tortillas. Great seasoning and salsa is good and spicy. Reasonably priced with big portions. Good service and attentive staff. Will be coming back with my family

Ordered regular beef Brito combo. Taste is ok and staff is very helpful. It’s not cozy restaurant but you can relax without stress. Good for lunch.

Los Pericos is a family owned restaurant. All of their food is delicious. The prices are very reasonable. From Chili Rellenos to Camerones A La Diabla to chili verde and carne asada tacos or tostadas, all of the food is so good. I take my kids to eat here almost every weekend. Their beans are so good. They make a fresh batch everyday. Lately, I have been getting the chili rellano and carnitas tostada cobo with rice and beans. It is fantastic. All the people who work there are so nice and helpful. You gotta come check it out I promise you that you won't regret it.

City of Glory at Los Pericos Taqueria did us good! •Welcoming • The service was wonderful and helpful Read reviews before deciding and I was hoping I could walk out just as satisfied. Menudo was a 10/10 Burrito Asada plus the red salsa on the side was good I got the single chile relleno dish with rice and beans. I was happy with it Homemade vibe.

I love this place! My parents have been coming here for 25 years and we have never been let down by the tasty food.

Best Mexican food in Gilroy, and I've tried a decent number of places here already. I'm also from San Diego, so my standards are high when it comes to mexican food. Their breakfast burritos are consistently great. We normally order to go, but this last time we decided to dine in, and it was the best decision. My partner got a chimichanga and I got the combo plate with a cheese enchilada and a carne asada tostada. The beans, rice, and meat were amazing. The service was very attentive, friendly, and welcoming. The food is fairly priced and the portions are HUGE. We spent a good 20 minutes talking about how good the food tasted as we were eating it. It's that good we are still talking about it.

Bartenders Union

Bar
Bartenders Union is a popular spot for evening drinks in the downtown area. The bar has a great location and offers a good selection of beers. While there's a rule about serving high-alcohol beers in smaller glasses, the overall experience is fun. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere gives off a neighborhood bar vibe without feeling grungy. The bar often hosts activities like pool tournaments, making it an engaging place to visit.
This place represents Gilroy as well as any other place downtown. Between bartenders union and pour me taproom, the district theater should have dancers coming for years…
Luke O — Google review
Honestly, I never got a drink here. I walked in and got creepy, unsettling stares - just overall bad vibes. As a woman, I felt I was unsafe. I decided to leave and try somewhere else. Seems like it’s not a good place to go have a casual drink with friends and family. I would be willing to try it again to see if it was just a weird one time situation.
Emily M — Google review
Great location, good beer selection. Silly rule about beers over 8% being served in small glasses, instead of a regular pint like the rest of the world, and it's all metal and concrete, so it gets extremely loud when there are a few people in there. All in all, though, pretty fun.
Jazmyne S — Google review
Great atmosphere. It's probably just a fluke but I'm the only person here and had to tell the bartender my drink order 3x and she still forgot. Also the worst vodka tonic I've ever had. Not hard to mess up but here we are. Very friendly though and great atmosphere
Jenny S — Google review
Nice clean bar. Always some kind of activity going on there. Tuesday is fun they have pool Tourneys. Nice crowd. A few of the regulars of the female variety lol don't like new women coming in and the young one is always yelling about someone or something.
Theresa V — Google review
This is a regular spot (one of the only spots to go really) in Gilroy for locals especially. Bartender was honestly pretty brusque, vibe wasn't bad, but I got into a physical altercation with a guy and his family outside of the bar because they overserved him on his 21st birthday and he swung on me out of the blue, his family tried to back him up. Not saying it's completely their fault, just trying to give a fair rating with everything in mind. Honestly this bar and the club across from it are constantly in a state of turmoil and the later it gets the more dangerous it gets there. Be careful going out the back door there as well as the alleys in between and the parking lot behind. The bouncers are great and do their jobs very well, love those guys.
Ernest R — Google review
Great bar. Good prices, good staff, super chill. It's comfortable and gives that neighborhood/locals bar vibe, without being a dirty cash-only dive bar or grungy whiskey pit. If you're in town, you should totally go, and buy a double of whatever you're drinking.
Trevor V — Google review
I was there Friday night. Got there around 11pm. Not too crowded. I liked that. Ages varied. Men outnumbered women 2 to 1. Still though everyone was friendly. I had a female approach me and introduce herself to me. Music wasn't too loud. Mostly wrap. Some older rock and groove too. They serve a wide variety of beer. Domestic too. I only had one. I didn't like it. They have catchy names but the bartenders use the numbers. I had #9. To me it tasted like flavored Alkaseltzer. I like beer to taste hoppy, full flavor. Everyone was having fun. Cutting loose. In a safe way. I recommend this place.

Chicken restaurant
Fast food restaurant
KFC, a popular fast food chain renowned for its famous fried chicken served in buckets, offers a variety of combo meals and side dishes. Recently, their Thanksgiving Turkey was unexpectedly delightful with its delicious taste and juicy tenderness. The staff's dedication is commendable as they worked tirelessly throughout the night to prepare the birds. This particular KFC location stands out for its pleasant atmosphere and satisfactory food quality. Overall, KFC continues to impress customers with their flavorful poultry options and enjoyable dining experiences.
Very good food, but it's a little greasy and idk about other but in My experience, i got a little headache, very good workerd, they love their job, and they are cool and Nice, not bad people around, sometimes empty but it's good

Came to Gilroy KFC to order their new Mike’s hot honey chicken my family and I were excited for it. We live about 15 minutes away. We drove up here we ordered it. We got home to our surprise. None of it had hot honey chicken all of it was just like soggy chicken. The fries were old so I headed back to get my order fixed. I’m trying to talk to the people they’re not wanting to cooperate and not trying to work with me and can’t seem to find what’s wrong even though I’m telling them. The manger in the photo on right side made it so bad that I had to threaten that “Ill take pictures And put a review up just to get them to remake my food because they are turning me down and trying to say that they can’t remake it” so I started to take photos and said I’m writing a review. Then they decided to remake my food. Jorge in the photo was the only one that came to help out the other people in the photo just made it more confusing and Hard. Also gave my 2 kids the chicken nuggets as they were hungry and I felt bad for making them wait. Beware of people‘s attitude at this location as if you ask them to remake it they throw a fit!!!! They don’t care about becoming better!!!! Omgosh just got home AGAIN after leaving there and they still didn’t put mikes hot honey on the sandwiches, called back to speak with manger again and she said bring it back I’ll make it again. I live 15mins one way couldn’t believe she didn’t make sure my food was good and shame on me for not checking the food before I left the second time!!!! Hopefully they can find someone that can represent them better and lead a team with a better with working with the public as she needs help!!!!!

Went through the drive through about 9:30 at night. Did not get the coleslaw with my order and the chicken looked picked through and they literally put a dash of mayonnaise on my chicken sandwich. Will not go to again!

The food is still good, even though I do not eat here that often now because there are no self-order kiosks. I prefer to use the app because it might take a while to decide what I want to eat and can afford.
Sax S — Google review
My food was very delicious and fresh. I went by the drive thru and cashier trejo gave me the best customer service.
David L — Google review
The food was perfect. Everything was fresh. The chicken was crispy, the biscuits were moist and buttery, the coleslaw was sweet and crunch and the mash potatoes with gravy were creamy and tasty.
Chris — Google review
Went through the drive-in repeated my order three times. The girl could barely speak English. told me to wait 10 minutes I finally went inside and showed them my receipt with a totally incorrect order. then it took them 15 more minutes just to give me back my money on my card. This place is terrible now

New Tung Kee Noodle House offers a delightful variety of soups that are particularly appealing to those with gluten intolerance. Their Combination soup is highly recommended, where customers can enjoy a mix of ingredients like steamed rice, bean sprouts, lemon, and chicharones (pork grinds). The Sate Beef soup provides a thick sauce/soup similar to Mexican mole but without chocolate. Another popular choice is the Beef Stew which can be ordered with or without tendon.
Awesome soups! If you're gluten entolorant like me you can order a Combination soup, no wontons, no noodles, a small order of steamed rice, bean sprouts, lemon and pork grinds, aka chicharones, mix all your extra ingredients in and enjoy! Other honorable mentions are the Sate Beef, it's like Mexican mole as far as the thickness of the sauce/soup, it's made with peanuts but no chocolate. The Beef Stew with tendon, or you can order without tendon, is my wife's favorite, she's not gluten entolorant but she will order the soup with no noodles, steamed rice, bean sprouts lemon and chicharones! The Tarot cakes with egg are pretty good too! Like I said from the gate, AWESOME SOUPS!

I honestly had 0 problems with this place! Everything was super yummy (I had tofu chow mein) and an iced coffee. Definitely a good spot, will visit again! Everything is super authentic as well, so if your into that it's a perfect place for you! :)

Decent dishes for the portions at its price. They have very good milk tea drinks. Taro cake is really good! Very spacious with fast service. The veggies are fresh and the soup dishes hit the spot. Come hungry and be full. A quick hop from the outlet.

We enjoyed our lunch there even though we had a small servings, it was plentiful and very felling. Clean place & friendly staff. No tortillas or dinner rolls, dinner and lunch are great nothing. If you order the large serving make sure you're hungry. Love the cookies!

Price was on point and many options to choose from many people are getting take out however, coming in and eating would be better. Wheelchair access nice decor and food portions are great as well as taste. The oil chili is great
Traveling K — Google review
My favorite is the Pad Thai because it's less sweet than most Americanized Thai places serve. The service is definitely fast but many of their dishes lack the good flavor I'm used to at decent Vietnamese restaurants. I still would recommend this place as a quick lunch stop on the way to or from the Bay Area for someone with a taste for Asian food.
Steve H — Google review
This is not a vegan place. But, they are quick to fill an order. The food is good and there are vegetarian dishes you can order. It is right off the Freeway so it is a good stop for travellers. If you like noodle soup, rice with vegetables and meat or tofu, and the pearl drinks this is a good place.
Mary V — Google review
Love their chow phan noodles! It's one of the few places that has it. Pretty big portions where you can split for lunch and dinner. Quick service too. Watch out for customer service when paying, can be a little rude when wanting water or hot tea.
