The 50 best cheap eats in Gilroy

On a 4.5 hour drive back to LA after this meal, we struggled to find any redeeming qualities about Old City Hall. At least it gave us a laugh? Food: Terrible. The attached photos (aside from the burger) are before we touched anything. Everything looked physically thrown on the plates. And it's like, the food was wrong in both directions, in every case. The Cubano was burnt but underdone. The fries were undercooked and overcooked. The pasta salad had been boiled 40 minutes, chilled, then placed under a heat lamp. The "crostini" was dry but untoasted. They asked for a temperature on the smash burger, which is never a good sign, and indeed it was not smashed. It was the kind of meal that makes you wonder if you're going to be sick later. Service: It took 10 minutes for a host to arrive to seat us, then another 10 for our server to appear. The first thing she said was that she was quitting, and the other table she had was complaining a lot. Usually I side with the staff on these matters, but I came to realize the other table probably had a point. The restaurant was probably at 30% capacity, maybe 8 tables, and there were 3 servers working at least. And they were very clearly in the weeds. I don't know where the breakdown happened but something is not working here. Also, look at the mustard bottle. That label has not been changed in years. Absolutely horrifying. Atmosphere: The exterior is the one place Old Town Hall has any positive. The building was once the Old Town Hall, and it has cool bones. But what they've done with the inside looks like the "before" of an episode of Kitchen Nightmares. It's ugly, brown, disgusting, outdated, and absolutely unwelcoming in every regard. I hate to give a one star review unless something catastrophic happens but Old Town Hall is a catastrophe. What boggles my mind is it's featured in local "Welcome to Gilroy" printed materials and websites. Maybe it was once good, but as it stands, Old City Hall needs serious help.

We thoroughly enjoyed their excellent Grilled Salmon with Lemon Caper Sauce over Rice Pilaf! Fast, friendly service. Such a unique venue, well worth your visit. Be sure to check out their restrooms (former courthouse jail). Lots of various sizes of kid booster seats, covered outdoor seating as well as bar seating. This is such a a unique venue, well worth a visit!

I absolutely LOVE Old City Hall Restaurant!! They consistently serve up great tasting food, and the staff members are always friendly and amazing. I’m intrigued with the building and nostalgic vibe. They have a large menu offering starters, salads, house soups, beef, pork, chicken, Old City Hall Specials, seafood, pasta, sandwiches and burgers, wraps, kids meals, and tasty desserts! Old City Hall has a full bar with dining, patio seating, and an upstairs area equipped to host the ultimate party. I encourage you to give them a try!

We went here for dinner. I had Shrimp Scampi and my husband had Calamari Steak. I'm used to Scampi having a prominent white wine and garlic flavor. This version was bland. The sauce was mostly butter with a hint of wine. I wouldn't order it again. My husband loved his Calamari Steak, which did have a lot of garlic.

Food and service were phenomenal. We sat outside and it was perfect. Be sure to check out the bathrooms.

We brought the family to celebrate my grandma’s 75th birthday, and everything was perfect! Mike and our other server (I wish I got her name) were so kind and attentive — they truly made my grandma feel special. Great food, great energy, and such a welcoming atmosphere. This beautiful building was once the City Hall and the architecture reflects it. In addition to the great setting the garlic burger was very tasty. Good service and reasonable prices as well. The lack of garlic ice cream was very disappointing however- I came to Gilroy for over the top garlic and heard the ice cream was one of the more interesting things to try. So they lost a star because of that but overall a very nice spot!

The restaurant offers convenient parking, which is a plus. Prices are average and the portion sizes are generous. We ordered vegetarian burritos, but they were mostly filled with rice and had minimal beans and other fillings, which was a bit disappointing. The hygiene was okay overall, but the indoor ventilation needs improvement—there was a noticeable amount of meat smoke inside. I would recommend sitting outdoors if possible. The service was average, and while the interior wasn’t extremely dirty, it could have been cleaner. An okay experience, but there’s room for improvement.

They have long operating hours, 9am - 10pm. Quick service with very delicious authentic Mexican food. The taco tortillas are made fresh to order, as well as the tortilla chips. We had the tacos asada and tacos carnitas.

Many options on the menu👍🏻, but would be better if there was some brief English translation, because I dont understand the language and hence didnt even know what meat options were available. Fortunately, the young girl at the cashier patiently explained the options to me and recommended the marinated pork which I opted for. Service is great here. If you order the tacos, you are basically just given the toppings on top of the plain tacos. You can add your own condiments at the self-service area. I ordered chicken, marinated pork and beef tongue, all 3 meat were cooked nicely. Tacos are soft and soaks up the meat juices, nothing special. The shop looks quite clean with plenty of seating, can accommodate 40 pax as claimed.

The photos are amazing! We’d never been here before, but were encouraged by the dining room being so busy—and we were famished! My daughter failed to eat her Birria Taco Plate, stating that it tasted off from others she’s experienced. Needless to say, she didn’t eat much. I, on the other hand, had the Taco Plate Verde and found it delicious. The fountain drinks, particularly the lemonade, had a peculiar flavor to it, as if the machine houses bacteria. And the satisfying Taco Plate Verde was less satisfying when I was forced to speed to the nearest restroom, after we left. I felt better about 45 minutes and 10 lbs. less—and was forced to abandon clothing on a public park bathroom. 😭 Unfortunately, it isn’t an activity I plan to repeat. And I’m a little jealous of my daughter who didn’t eat much.

A very small Mexican restaurant but the food is the absolute best. My regular is a brisket burrito. My husband goes for the brisket tacos with the grilled jalapeño and onions. They have lots of drink options as well. Decent seating. Parking is terrible. Not the cleanest place but I haven’t seen any sign of pests or bugs so it’s good enough for me!

Way better than your average taqueria. This time my Asad was a little dry so 4 stars. My friends food was great. Best taqueria in gilroy hands down.

Disappointed Garlic shrimp was very bad. Garlic clearly from a jar, and sweet (?) Possibly expired. Feel sick even after washing/scraping the Garlic stuff off. Prices were unreasonable. Cannot recommend

Best Mexican food in Gilroy. The price is a little higher than some resteraunts, But you definitely get what you pay for. Try the 3 meat Fajitas (juicy, tender and hot). Very good chips and salsa and a very good kids menu.

A hidden local gem in downtown Gilroy. If you are craving a delicious and buttery garlic dish made for garlic lovers, definitely get the garlic shrimp (camarones al mojo de ajo)! The complimentary chips and salsa were also amazing. And the prices are great compared to nearby restaurants. The rice was a bit dry though and the burrito didn't have enough sauce. Best to get the recommended dishes from here rather than a la carte. overall would recommend!

Food tasted cheap for the price, menudo was not good, nor were the flautas they were very dry do not waste your time eating here. Staff was friendly. Would not eat here again.

Our favorite Mexican food in Gilroy. Currently it's outdoor dining only but still great food and service. Update: They have indoor dining now. It was super busy last time we went but Anna still gave great service! Update: Soooooooo good! Highly recommend! Update December 2023: I love the cheese enchiladas Rojo, Verde Enchiladas with pork, Chimichanga, steak sandwich, Fajitas. Excellent service and delicious food. Go give it a try. Best coffee in town by far! Hands down no competition! Love the sugar free vanilla iced latte 😋 😍. Customer service is great, the employees and owners will have you leaving with a smile 😃. I literally go there everyday, good way to start the morning.

The only thing that was nice/good about this place was their set up. The lights are dimmed which is perfect if you are trying to just enjoy a coffee and a book or watching the people walk by. The coffee was plain and had no coffee or vanilla flavor for what it was (vanilla latte) and just throwing an idea out there, it would be nice if they heated up their pastries. And the service was bland. The lady with the shoulder length brunette hair was rude and not friendly at all but I have now given it try and know.

Came for a visit as I was in the area on a Tues afternoon. Greeted by amicable staff, decently service time as there were a few people waiting orders. Grabbed an lavender chai latte. Was good, not too sweet. Great space and ambiance inside, not loud and outdoor seating available with plethora room along the sidewalk. Well kempt. Parking along the street and off 7th in the back.

To my knowledge, this is the only place in town that grinds their own beans. Cool, chill vibe, with indoor and outdoor seating. They also have interesting coffee drink choices. I had the almond honey latte.

The perfect coffee spot for my coffee stop while on a road trip. Downtown Gilroy is the coolest! Friendly service. Very good coffee. A little coffee bite and then smoothes out into fresh coffee taste. Then, the Pumpkin muffin is the perfect compliment to the coffee. Stop by and try!

The place was overall good but I don’t think I would come back. The atmosphere was just really weird, the barista was informative but not really customer service friendly. So I was kind of disappointed because I really wanted to try a new place. But the chai was good, simple.

Impressively Good Carne Asada Super Burrito for $14.56. the flavour, quality of meat/toppings, tortilla all hold their own. Oh and the salsas are bomb. Will be back

My go-to spot on my way to Salinas! Would give a 5 if it wasn't for the service sometimes. Carnitas surtidas (3 libras) very tasty and the puerco beans very good too..beans nothing salty like I would've imagined.

Excellent attention, excellent price, carnitas are good, just not sure if because we arrived 1 hr before the closing time, carnitas were very salty... taste was not as great as I was expecting. Pozole was great, salsas, rice and beans were great too.

There weren't any other customers. We were seated and waited on personally. The salsa is delicious to start out with. My daughter went on and on about her lunch. I should have gotten what she did.

Amazing food. We catered for dinner from this restaurant last evening and were completely blown away by the food. Carnitas are out of this world delicious. Everyone loved the food. Really friendly service. They helped me get the food to my car which was super helpful.

Fantastic little restraunt. Full of activity and clearly a meeting place for the local community. I was warmly greeted when I walked in (in English if that's important to you lol) and after waiting for a few transactions it was my turn. I was on the hunt for pozole, but they didn't serve it today which is understandable. Pretty sure I saw they did have menudo though. So, I went with the standard, 3 carnitas tacos and a large jamaica. They ended up being massive lol. Great clean restaurant with variety of options and quick service. The food tasted good, and the service was excellent. We ordered all vegetarian options - malai kofta, veg pakoras and garlic naan. They all tasted good and was served hot.

Had lunch here on the way to another place. While the place in itself is neat. The food isn’t great. Just about average. The onion fritters were super oily and really not so great. And rest of the dishes were very okay, the food was hot and made fresh so +1 on that. However some things stick out like sore thumb. 1. Service is super slow. 2. Hygiene takes a back seat here. One of the girls serving was munching on Cheetos and didn’t bother washing hands before serving.

We had lunch here on our way as it is conveniently located close to US-101. The food was great, service was quick. The rotis, rice and entrees felt fresh and not too oily. The food was good even a day later. Highly recommend.

We really enjoyed the food from Little India Indian Cuisine. We ordered Chicken Tikka Masala, Lamb Biryani and Garlic Naan bread, they were all delicious. The flavors were all there and so yummy. We highly recommend this place and we will definitely be back.

We had a positive experience at the restaurant. We tried the Okra curry, Naan, Gulab Jamun and the Vegetable Wrap and all were tasty. What we did not like were the ambience, dirty/smelly bathrooms, hot indoors. The restaurant is in a extremely busy business area and it was quite hard to find parking.

This was the 2nd time I came here with my family. The first time we sat down and this same manager at 845pm was changing a lite bulb over our table. We all thought it was awkward because dust started to fall from the ceiling fan. That same night he started yelling at the cooks in the back, making it really obvious. Luckily that night it was a Friday night and it wasn't packed. Today we tried to get seated and this time he helped us get seated but was really rude, loud and felt empowered. Not sure if he feels as its a power situation or he's just prejudice against Mexicans/Latin American people When our my husbands food came out. I happen to ask the server the man with the purple shirt is he the manager? He said yes. We both asked if he's normally always mad and treats workers and costumers bad? The Mexican sever said yes. Sometimes he's happy and sometimes he's mad at everyone. The server was awesome 👌 however the man with the purple shirt walks around loud, not friendly and just made our dinner experience bad. I'll still go back because the food was good and the servers are nice but I'll try to avoid the man with the purple shirt. Horrible Horrible customer service

Came here for breakfast and this much older man assisted us. He was terrific and pleasant and checked up on us a good amount. The spicy sausage omelette, which is a special, was so good and is my favorite here. They don’t have it always. Omelette had generous amount of meat and is topped with half an avocado. Would happily eat here again 😀

Every time I'm in Gilroy I stop by Black Bear diner for a meal 😊 The staff are really nice and our tables are always clean. They have cute merch and a relaxed atmosphere. 10/10!

Black Bear Diner in Gilroy is always a great place to eat. The food is hearty, fresh, and full of flavor with plenty of options for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. the waiter was very nice but the food is so expensive for no reason. everything taste so industrialized, not even the “fresh orange juice” like it said on their menu is real, it says they squeeze their oranges every morning, but they gave me orange box juice in a cup for the price of a whole gallon. do not recommend

Came in for brunch on a Saturday with the wife and kids. It was pretty busy but the wait was only about 25 minutes. When we were seated we were greeted quickly. Our server brought our drinks out really quickly. We order two kids meals and it was way to much food. Normally when we go places and only order one kid meal for them to share it’s not enough, so we ordered 2 and it was way to much. Kids meals are huge! My wife got the tri tip dip and it was delicious. I ordered the county friend steak breakfast and it was perfect as well. Definitely great food and service. The cost was actually a lot less expensive than anticipated as well.

I have been coming to OD's kitchen since 1995, The food has always been consistently good, and the service has always been great. I just went again since their big remodel opening, and it's great, the same cozy OD's feel and layout - just upgraded. The ambiance is like you're in a home kitchen having good food. If you’re ever in Gilroy and looking for the perfect breakfast spot, OD’s Kitchen is an absolute must-visit. This small, family-owned gem has been part of the community for decades, and it’s easy to see why locals and visitors alike keep coming back. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with a warm, welcoming atmosphere that feels like stepping into a friend’s kitchen. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, treating every guest like family. Even on busy weekends, they go out of their way to make sure you’re comfortable and have everything you need. The food? Simply phenomenal. The portions are huge, and everything is cooked to perfection. Their omelettes are fluffy and packed with flavor, and the breakfast potatoes are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The biscuits and gravy are some of the best I’ve ever had—rich, hearty, and made from scratch. Some of my personal favorites: 🥚 The Santa Fe Omelette – perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. 🥞 The pancakes – light, fluffy, and big enough to share (but you’ll probably want to keep them all for yourself). 🍳 The Kitchen Sink Skillet – it’s got everything and is perfect if you’re extra hungry. The only thing I would say i wish they had air conditioning it was a little hot in there.

Down in Gilroy for a quick stop and then lunch, and everyone I spoke to about where to get the best salmon sandwich agreed that OD's Kitchen puts out the best sandwiches in town...Especially the salmon sandwich! So, that's exactly what I got, and it was Spectacular! 5 stars all day long☆☆☆☆☆

First time at this place and we loved it. The greeting and service from the people who work here and we met the owner too . I really enjoyed my chilaquiles they were so good with the mild sauce . Now let me say the Hawaiian pancakes were something else . Never have I tasted anything like these . I’m actually not even a pancake person . 100% recommend . I will be back here next time I am I Gilroy .

Update February 2024: They have been closed for way too long. But, now that they're back we gave it a try. Everything was fantastic. Bacon was crispy and delicious eggs and Hash browns and toast were great. California Omelet delicious as well. Be sure you ask for some verde salsa, it's super tasty. To go country fried steak and eggs very awesome. Steak tender and flavorful. They are back indeed. Go give it a try you won't be disappointed. Service is great considering how busy they are. This was a weekend.

When I work out of town I always try to find the place where the locals go to eat. This is the place for a good breakfast. Locally owned, not a chain restaurant. Friendly staff and reasonable prices. Be aware they only serve breakfast and lunch. Highly recommend!!!

Went on New Year's Eve for the first time. Sat at the bar and the staff was extremely friendly and the service was great. Food was pretty good atmosphere was friendly and busy. Restaurant seemed clean and dessert which was carrot cake was delicious. We were very happy with the food and service it is a nice casual to upscale dining experience. It was a little pricey so we won't go as often as preferred.

This is located near the Gilroy downtown. We went for dinner on the weekend and had to wait for 15mins for a table. The food was okay. The service and the atmosphere was good. They have a good amount of parking. The restrooms were clean. They have a variety of cocktail options.

Dude, this is such the great breakfast spot on Sunday. I’m not normally on this area but on a drive back from down south up 101 and needing a bite, couldn’t have chosen better. We had avocado toast. Had a fried egg in top of avocado and a little water cress garnish. Perfectly toasted bread. Breakfast burrito (flour tortilla, scrambled eggs, chorizo, avocado, tomatoes, pinto beans, jack and white cheddar) was huge and then it came with hashed brown on the side too. Denver scramble (ham, onion, bell pepper, jack and cheddar) was as huge as the burrito but felt lighter without the tortilla. Omelette… same story. Had a fruit salad on the side with this one. I can’t remember our servers name but she was super nice. We sat outside under an umbrella on a pretty hot day but it was quite tolerable. Looking forward to my next opportunity to visit.

Westside Grill is a great restaurant in Gilroy. Their menu is considerable offering tasty appetizers, entrees, pasta, burgers & sandwiches, farm fresh salads, and daily specials! They have a large, festive bar area where you can dine. It’s an awesome full bar with specialty cocktails and draft beers. The service is quick and on point! Westside Grill is great for couples, families, and even has room to host larger groups.

The food was great, service was too, they serve breakfast until 2! (At least on Saturday when we visited). Blue cheese burger was what I had, with fries. Good sized burger, plenty of fries.

I've been going to Westside Grill from San Jose for over a decade. I was just there the other day when the manager came over and offered to remake my salad because she saw me picking out the blue cheese. I had totally forgotten to ask that they make it without but when she came over and insisted, it reminded me how awesome their service is. I have never had a less then amazing meal, service, or seen anything out of order. From birthday dinners, date night, lunches, big holiday dinner parties, weekend brunch, and just because, they have always been exceptional. I used to wonder why they didn't have a big sign advertising their location but it's clear, they don't need one. Thanks guys!!! You're the best!!!

I've been here a few times and have just gotten the pizza. The toppings have always been good and the crust is very good. The crust is the most important part of a pizza and I'm sure they let thier crust rise a couple days and the hydration level is perfect for the temperature they cook it at. Service has always been great and the cocktails are good.

This is one of my favorite restaurants to visit when I’m in town beautiful atmosphere and it feels like family when you walk in. I would definitely recommend this restaurant 10 out of 10. Get the mushrooms on the appetizer menu you won’t regret it. They’re absolutely delicious!

The overall experience was a bit of a mixed bag. The service stood out—our server was formal and attentive, and the dining area was clean and inviting, with crisp white paper tablecloths and clean restrooms. The pizza and lasagna were both very good—flavorful, well-prepared, and served in generous portions. Unfortunately, the same couldn’t be said for the chicken parmigiana, which was dry and overcooked. The penne pasta was cooked nicely, but the sauce left much to be desired—it lacked depth, with no trace of basil or garlic, which felt especially odd given the restaurant’s location in the garlic capital of California. I shared my thoughts with the server, who was courteous and thanked me for the feedback. While there were some definite highlights, the inconsistency in the food keeps me from giving a higher rating.

Great Italian restaurant. Nice selection of meals. Prices are fair. Servers were wonderful. We had pizzas, and different vegetarian pasta dishes. The helpings are very large and generous.

Found it by chance. We have been here multiple times since. Food and service has always been nice and enjoyable. Our kids love the dessert "menu". This place has a very nice atmosphere the outdoor dining is the best spot. With the fire and the over head lights with the grape vine is cool! The food is delicious 😋 I really like the salmon my partner got the chicken parmasan. All very good friendly staff! Definitely recommend if you want authentic Italian.

A little busy even at around 4:30pm. I ordered Paella, Lasagna and tender chicken kid menu. Staff was friendly. Our to-go order took 25 minutes to make. Food was delicious.

We ordered Shanghai noodle three delights.combination fried rice,combination chow mein, string bean noodles, all dishes delicious however the fried fish fillets cut into bite size with garlic spices (my favorite) mouth bursting flavor really took me by surprise how good this dish was a must try!!! also tried the cassava dessert with drizzled sweetness and a roasted pecan on top very unique for this area usually common over seas like the Philippines this was not overly sweet but just enough to make a nice finishing touch. The waitress who helped us was very friendly and attentive. Hands down the best Chinese restaurant around this area.

I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at Ginger Cafe in San Ysidro, Gilroy, CA. The sweet and sour pork was a delight—tasty with tender pork. The garlic Basil fish fillet exceeded expectations, showcasing fresh and well-cooked fish. To top it off, the egg fried rice was perfect, making my overall dining experience delightful. Ginger Cafe has a fantastic menu. The food is fresh and made to order. The employees here are so friendly and accommodating. Definitely try the Sweet and Sour Pork!! So yummy!! Mango chicken was delicious, next time though I will ask for extra Thai basil!! This restaurant has Vietnamese, Thai, Chinese and other Asian dishes. Next time you are in Gilroy, go try this restaurant, you won't be disappointed!

Talk about fresh. Good flavorful, crunchy, yummy tasting food. Dumplings were amazing! Not doughy tasting. I loved the Pad Thai the best though, just the right amount of flavor! Atmosphere, seating was nice. If sitting next to the bathroom it is a bit smelly and didn’t really enjoy that. Overall though I would go back for the food. Worth it :)

I ordered take out yellow curry with tofu. This was the best yellow curry I've had in a long time. It was loaded with tofu, green beans, eggplant, carrots, few fresh mushroom slices and some onions. The soup part of the curry is what made it delicious. The only thing that I would have liked better is if they used potatoes instead of eggplant. I did get a side of rice to go with the curry. That was not included.

We ate some delicious food at Ginger Cafe. Orange chicken, chicken fried rice, chow mein and the vegetarian eggrolls were very good. The crab wrap appetizer was the only food we didn't really like it. The waitress was extremely friendly but we could tell she was under stress having to take care of a lot of tables.

Food is decent but dishes are very salty even without the sauce. They have very few waiters/waitresses so we had to wait for a very long time to get our orders in, get the utensils and plates for the kids and for payment. Vegetarian options are good.

Wonderful cozy Asian Cuisine with an upper scale lounge and outdoor patio! As a Vegetarian, meat lover, seafood aficionado, there is a dish for you, your family, and a kid's menu. As a new Gilroy Resident, I feel an urge to go here once a week, not having to drive to the City or San Jose, the menu here is outstanding and Local. The shareable plates of 2 can feed 4 people! Yum!

I’ve been wanting to try Pineapple Village for a while now, and I’m so glad that we gave it a try! All of the dishes were tasty and piping hot. Pineapple Village offers many delicious choices and has excellent vegetarian options. In addition to Asian fusion, Pineapple Village serves up burgers and po boys. I was quite surprised by the restaurant size and full bar. It would be a great place to host larger groups or even parties. The service was great and our food was ready quickly!

A little short staffed today around 2ish. They did their best to still be on top of everything but it seemed like they could have used some help. Doesn't take away from the food! Very tasty and flavorful. Our second time here and we can't wait to come back and try other options. Ordered a pound of shrimp with all the sauces and it was very good. Now I know to order it hot, I got the shrimp medium flavored but it's not spicy enough for me. Also got the gilroy chicken this time and was very delicious!

The food here is great you will not regret coming here it is very allergy friendly they were able to accommodate my gluten allergy very well. The staff were very friendly, and the food was phenomenal. I highly recommend the lettuce wraps they are the best thing here. I have been here in the past before and it was great then as well.

The food was a bit sweet, the curry wasn't thick enough, the pineapple fried rice didn't have enough pineapple, and the tom yum soup wasn't spicy enough. But it was still delicious.

My family has been coming to Pineapple Village for over 10 years. However, today will be our last time eating here. The staff was very rude to my wife and I. We ordered our $80 meal to go, my wife arrived and had a change of heart. She texted me to meet her there so we could dine in. The staff was not willing to accommodate her request. My wife insisted we would like to dine in, there were over 15 tables available!!! So why can we not eat there?? According to staff members they were following protocol. What about common sense??? There are plenty of tables available, not reserved. Why not help out some local and loyal customers? We ended up eating there, the lady told us we had to eat at the table by the restroom. We refused and sat down at one of the many available tables not secluded by the restroom. I tried to talk to one of the managers and explain the importance of good service, she said she was done talking. Take your hard earned money where people are happy to get your business. pineapple Village is not it!!!

I normally love this place and the food. today our waitress was rude would not answer questions about dishes we were excited to try for the first time, and it just made it not as pleasant. please leave the attitude at the door carolina. we're spending $120 for a few dishes and a nice experience, I love to give good tips, but not when I'm treated with disrespect. Been here several times; the food is always delicious. It is traditional California style Mexican food. I've eaten Mexican food in Mexico and to me CA style is better. I wouldn't say this food is the best I've had, but when I'm craving a chili verde burrito, beans/rice, it works, and it is tasty. They serve their sodas in cans with a glass of ice. Each time you want a new soda you have to buy a new can. It's a bit expensive, about $42 for 2 adults with no drinks or tip. The staff is very friendly, the atmosphere is nice.

Went here for the first time in 8 years of living in Gilroy and it was beyond a let down. Ordered to go and it was honestly some of the worst Mexican food I’ve ever had. Not a single person in my household ate more than half of their order. The steak was hard and burritos lacked flavor. And the beef quesadillas were with ground beef? Like what? It was also very expensive compared to similar restaurants. Definitely would not recommend

Orders take out of three ala carte items. Waited 1/2 hour. Watched three people come in, place to go orders and leave. Still I sat. When they brought the food they indicated they’d made an error. Took the food away. And I wait. And wait. Finally I ask for a credit to my card. Cancel my order. He refused. He says he could not accomplish that. I was forced to wait for the good which contained two waterlogged tacos basically inedible garbage. This place isn’t poor in service and the food is questionable. A health department check might be warranted.

Great food and an even better atmosphere. The food was really good and everything came out super quick. I could barely even finish my soup before the fajitas were at my table. Everything I ordered was very fresh and not overly seasoned like some places do to cover up cheap meat. Definitely would come back.

My friend has brought me here a couple times so I brought my family....I liked my mole enchiladas....my sister wasn't as happy with her choice but she's super picky....my other sister said her food was fine and my brother in law also super picky needed more flavor....however chips salsa and beers on point 👍🏾

I got the cheese enchilada, beef taco, and Chile Renello . It was ok. The food was not bad but not the best. The service was excellent, very nice staff. I'm very picky about my food and like my Mexican food a certain way. Chips and salsa great. Enchilada sauce was kind of sweet, and the Chilli Renello had mozzarella for the cheese. Taco was good very crispy. Thank you for dinner. Your staff's service was extremely good.

We went for a birthday celebration, and all was fine when the restaurant manager charged our friend a 6+ person automatic gratuity for a beer at the bar. When we questioned it, he said it was because we requested a table for 14. Our friend had ordered her beer before we asked for the table. Once we questioned it, he got very rude! We told him we were upset about the way we were being treated because he was rude. We said we were leaving, and he said go ahead. For an establishment to treat people like this when raising awareness of being overcharged!!!! Not okay. We are upset! Check your charges when eating her. We will NEVER return!!!!

I’m a regular I used to go all the time especially for happy hour and the Menudo on Sundays. I’ve never had bad service until yesterday. My server was Alfredo. He was not very friendly then greet Us didn’t say hi or anything to Us he just brought the menus and put them down Every time we try to get him to bring us something. seemed like it was a chore then we tried to get another server attention. He just looked at me and ignored me. The food was terrible. It was cold and bland to spend that much money and you get cold food. That’s not right. we did didn’t tell the server because we couldn’t get his attention also he didn’t come and ask how everything was going, if we needed anything at all but we noticed or I noticed he was catering to a different crowd. I will never go back and neither will my family only in the daytime if I decide to go back. I was so disappointed to be treated like that I haven’t gone out in a while due to my sickness and I said let’s go there because it’s great Service I was wrong. Definitely wrong. I’ve had bad service with him before but I asked if I can get another server and I did.

Over the years this place has gone from amazing to horrible. The customer service is okay, but the food is simply just plain salty and gross. This was my favorite place to eat tacos in all California, but it is no longer what it used to be. DO NOT RECOMMEND!! The quality of their meat has become horrible, too.

Good real Mexican food. Tacos are great. Burrito was amazing. It's more food than you're expecting so order small and g9 back if you're still hungry. The super nachos are amazing.

Really tasty carne asada burritos, tacos, quesadillas and tostadas. There red hot sauce is sooooo good. The green hot sause is delicious but not quite as spicy as the red. I sometimes buy a large container to bring home. They always have fresh Serrano peppers and cilantro if you ask for it. Their burritos are really big and moat of them are priced less than 10 dollars. Tostadas are also very reasonably priced . Where else can you get a carnitas tostada with quacamole for around four dollars. They have the best overall prices if you are trying to save a buck. They are really good at making your food to order just the way you like it. The one on 10th Street always has a line but they get you out quick. I am totally addicted to it.

I ordered three burritos . The lazy preparer stacked up three tortillas on the heating machine burning the tortilla on the bottom and making soggy the tortillas overlapped . The tortillas on top weren't even warm (management has an obvious disregard for this staff ). It seems other people have complaint about the tortilla of the burritos on Yelp. Might as well give me a frozen tortilla. Soggy burrito (gross).

Always hit up Super Taqueria went I am in town. Never disappoints. Has the Giant super carne asada and a giant taco de lengua.

First time here. I had a salad. It was very fresh. A bit pricey after adding chicken $22.00 but it was good. Despite being a busy night, the food did not take a long time to arrive. What’s a 7 corse meal in Ireland? Why a 6 pack of beer and a potato of course. All kidding aside Claddagh has a pub like atmosphere with TVs, full bar, and a big dining area. Our waitress was wonderful!! Super attentive, was great at explaining the menu and offering up suggestions, came back many times to check up on us and got our order right. 5 stars. The food: Cup of clam chowder:: super creamy, lots of clam, hands down the best clam chowder I’ve ever had 5 stars!!! All day long. Fish and chips: Comes with a huge piece of Cod, battered and fried, lemon and tartar sauce with your choice of fries, garlic seasoning fries, garlic mash with gravy and a few other choices. The batter on the fish was light and crispy “super good” unfortunately the Cod fish was rubbery and chewy. The regular fries are very good, cooked perfectly. The garlic mashed potatoes had delicate flavors of garlic “super yummy” the gravy IMO did not do the mashed potatoes justice. Unfortunately I have to give the dish 2 stars due to the rubbery Cod. Penne pasta + chicken: Comes with Penne pasta, Alfredo sauce, tomatoes, some kind of greens “possibly spinach? shaved parmesan cheese on top and 2 pieces of garlic bread. Alfredo sauce was on the runny side, and on the oily side. IMO the pasta also lacked salt. The greens, tomatoes cheese and the chicken was very good. The garlic bread was good but on the salty side 3 stars. Food portions: No way you leave this establishment hungry, the portions are huge!! 5 stars Overall I guess the question is do I recommend them? The answer is yes, I would go their every day just to eat the clam chowder with a side of fries!! No joke!! “And let’s not forget the great service” I would also like to try some of the other food they offer so yah I recommend and yah I’ll be back.

We love this place. The food has been consistently great for the past 5 years coming here. Wait staff and owner are always friendly and hard working. Love the various TV's and full bar. For a place with a ton of beer selections you also can't go wrong with their margaritas. Our favorites are the garlic calamari appetizer and the fish and chips.

I love this place. My family and I can't get enough. The nachos are screaming and the burgers are always on point. Fish and chips yummy and the steak sandwich yum. My kids also love eating here my son loves to get a cheeseburger and a side of nuggets while my daughter loves the nuggets or the Mac n cheese with fries on the side. The sweet owner put my request for side of nuggets 😉on the menu. How cool is that. If you are in town or passing by eat here you won't be disappointed. Service is always great.

I dropped in today and ordered fish and chips to go. The young girl was so sweet and nice. My order barely took five minutes to cook and in that time she asked me twice if I would like water or anything else to drink while I waited. I was really impressed by her customer service! The food was great and if your in the area do visit the restaurant, it is set up very nicely.

Los Pericos is a family owned restaurant. All of their food is delicious. The prices are very reasonable. From Chili Rellenos to Camerones A La Diabla to chili verde and carne asada tacos or tostadas, all of the food is so good. I take my kids to eat here almost every weekend. Their beans are so good. They make a fresh batch everyday. Lately, I have been getting the chili rellano and carnitas tostada cobo with rice and beans. It is fantastic. All the people who work there are so nice and helpful. You gotta come check it out I promise you that you won't regret it.

Best Mexican food in Gilroy, and I've tried a decent number of places here already. I'm also from San Diego, so my standards are high when it comes to mexican food. Their breakfast burritos are consistently great. We normally order to go, but this last time we decided to dine in, and it was the best decision. My partner got a chimichanga and I got the combo plate with a cheese enchilada and a carne asada tostada. The beans, rice, and meat were amazing. The service was very attentive, friendly, and welcoming. The food is fairly priced and the portions are HUGE. We spent a good 20 minutes talking about how good the food tasted as we were eating it. It's that good we are still talking about it.

This place has really tasty and healthy food. We stopped in for a quick bite on our way to San Francisco. The lamb was delicious. The waitstaff was polite and informative. I would definitely eat here again. The strip mall were its located doesn't look like much, but once inside you are transported to a world of delicious goodies and modern delicacies.

The food was very good! I had the Beef Burguignon, and my wife had the Pecan Chicken. I started with the macaroni and cheese as well. Everything was unique, and delicious. The sauce on the beef may have been slightly under seasoned, but the subtlety was nice with the quality of the beef, which was cooked perfectly. Our server John did a great job, and had we not been too full, we would have loved to partake in the bread pudding. I'm already looking forward to our next visit!

Once you are inside you find a peaceful atmosphere. Came as a party of 4 and found all the food great. The clam chowder was full of clams versus just potatoes. My pork chops were hot and tender and could have used only a touch more seasoning to be outstanding. Were this spot more advertised then it should be filled to capacity as good as the food was. The lady providing service I mistook to be an owner as she was soon attentive to us.

I'm a bit late but I finally wanted to write my review for the amazing service we got from Diane. Last year in November, my partner and I got married and one of the things you need for a wedding is of course a caterer that provides delicious food for all the hungry guests. We had a smaller wedding with only about 40 guests. After looking at different caterers and getting a bit desperate because the date came closer and closer we finally found Diane and Just in Thyme. We met up with her in her restaurant to discuss a potential menu and what other items we would need (like plates and glasses, etc). Diane was super helpful with the planning. We had a few ideas for a potential menu but only with Diane's help were we able to come up with a tasty sounding list of dishes. On the wedding day, Diane and her helpers came by the place we rented and started cooking (we had a big kitchen in there for her to do her magic). In a few hours, she put together an amazing menu to feed 40 people. We booked buffet-style serving and once the tables were set, food was served. I am still amazed -thinking back on it- how great the food was. Several of my friends who attended the wedding also commented on how tasty it was. They expected standard wedding food which is not necessarily always a hit and were pleasantly surprised by the quality and great flavor of what was served. Diane's food certainly made a great day even better. She wasn't even bothered by some of my relatives sneaking into the kitchen to get a better look on what's cooking. I am actually surprised not more people tried to get in there because the food smells coming out of there were just that amazing. I can highly recommend her services. It was a joy dealing with her and setting everything up.

Our waitress, Vanessa was AWESOME-very friendly and personable! The bread, salad and seafood pasta was fresh & delicious. The soft butter served with the bread was perfect. The owner came out to talk to us which was a perfect ending to an enjoyable experience!

Dinner was fantastic! Great food, friendly efficient staff, TASTY! Well worth going! Try the gnocchi! So much flavor. I love that you can see the kitchen! It's very clean. That's something you can't always tell at other places. My first visit and I will be back again soon

I went for my birthday dinner here the food it’s alright nothing major there is some food that lacks on flavor but nothing they can’t fix. I don’t recommend the house shots get a mixed drink instead. They lagged it on our drink probably due to us being a party of 10 but other than that everything was great customer service was good the waiters were on it and pretty as well and the little light show they put on was great just charged me $24 for that which was for the 2 shots and the candle $2.99 which wasn’t bad I always come here of a party of 4 and won’t change this spot high recommend for a day or friends gathering.

Late lunch in Gilroy. Delicious authentic Mexican food. The interior decor is beautiful. Murals are pretty to look at. The menudo has alot of good flavor. Enchilada plate was more than enough. We ordered a side of guacamole. Michelada was a good addition to our meal.

*Decor and Vibes are good* Stopped in for brunch and the chilquilles verde were good with steak and the chicken sopas were yummy. Sea Food tostada was just OK since it seemed frozen and burritos were basic but the wet one was better. Beans and Rice left something to be desired and drinks would have been considerably better. Overall good but wouldn't go out of our way to come back.

What a wonderful experience I felt whisked away to Mexico with this authentic adventure of wonderful Mexican food that is so tasty and good. This place is huge and has drinks with lights that h Fb one in enclosed lanterns filled with smoke! Not joking this place is legit! I had the mixed fajitas with a margarita and it didn’t disappoint. The service was really good too, our waitress was always checking in on us and making sure we were having the time of our lives. This place has huge murals on the walls and party lights so we only came for lunch but this place looks like it gets down at nighttime! Gotta come back and get a bucket of beers, definitely the closest thing to actual Mexico that I’ve ever experienced!

After reading all these great reviews I really wanted to to check this place out. Unfortunately my experience was way less the stellar. I walked in to the permeating smell of cigarettes but I figured why not, I’m here right? So I looked at what they had to offer. The second thing I noticed was how dirty the glass on there are displaced cases were, the coffee station also looked dirty and in disarray. Still I pressed on, I ordered a coffee dessert slice “see picture” and took it to go. How was the slice? Ummm well…. Have you ever had something from the freezer that was in there to long and it has that old freezer taste? Well it tasted just like that, I have no idea how long it was sitting in the Display case but trust me it was no Bueno. I honestly don’t know what to say, I was so looking forward to trying this place. There is no way I can recommend them.

This review is purely for their range of cakes and pasticceria desserts. We will gladly return to sit down for a meal in the future. We stopped in here to pick up dessert for a dinner recently and Sweet Sicily was not short of choice, good cheer and happy, interactive service. We ended up taking much more than we needed (it just all looked so delicious) and some calzones for breakfast the next day. Some of the desserts aren't exactly Italian/Sicilian, but perhaps a delicious modern fusion more attuned to an American taste, but there is still traditional sweets on display! Although I didn't get to order any, they also had a beautiful range of macaroons (which were kind of hiding, and I felt should have been closer to the front, they are so pretty). I will be going back for those too! The service was friendly, informative and so welcoming in that European way. We were told there is live Italian music on Tuesday nights, and also a special pasta dish prepared on those nights. We will be back for dinner!

My local go to for some of the best pastries and cakes. I love the lemoncello cake, pistachio cake, and any of the chocolate cakes. I am not able to have dinner there due to dietary restrictions but it always smells amazing and looks so good! The place is always spotless. The service is always friendly. It is a hidden gem for sure. Check them out!

I have eaten here before and it was really nice. The food was good.The service was good. We brought more people tonight to eat. Unfortunately there was a lot of noise, people were loud. The service staff was extremely loud. Brought us our food before even taking our soup bowls. The acoustics were terrible. It was just loud and noisy. I was extremely disappointed for the dinner we were hoping to have. My food was drenched in teriyaki sauce. It was so gross, I had a hard time eating it, all they wanted to do was give me free dessert. Anybody else try to eat all of that? It would make them literally sick. I don't think I want to go back there again. There's no reason for everybody to talk so loud that works there. We paid a lot of money for our food. The employees could have been a little more considerate on taking care of us. The manager or owner should have made sure the entertainment was. It wasn't being so noisy, setting up a band while still having people in there eating. The other people that were singing were terrible. Sorry for that. We were hoping to show a friend out of town. A really good dinner at the restaurant.

My wife and I celebrated our anniversary, she ordered the fish n chips, I got the ribeye steak with veggies and mashed potatoes. The food was very delicious, well seasoned and cooked perfectly. The waiter was incredible. She was very attentive, quick, and professional, very sweet. We had a great experience and will definitely be coming back. The aesthetic was very nice, great place to have a date, where you can enjoy good food, great atmosphere and nice aesthetic.

Randy was my server, he was on top of everything and made sure that we were happy. Drinks, food, atmosphere was all perfect. Our bartender Monte, made the best drinks. I will definitely be back. The drinks are perfectly made, just the right amount of alcohol . Food was amazing.

Sat at the bar and Randy was an excellent bartender. We had fillet steak with mashed potatoes and asparagus, and it was extremely delicious! The lighting is perfect and a little bit dim. And the decor is really cool. We will come back again another day for live music.

My wife and I were in town for an event and randomly stopped in here for dinner. I have a ton of experience in the restaurant industry as management, and I have to say I had some of the best service I've ever had. Our bartender Monty was absolutely great. Not only was the service top tier, the food was delicious. I had the sliders, and they were amazing. Atmosphere was amazing as well. Loved the decor. I think the only bad part of the place is that it's so far away and I can't go back every week. 5/5, will absolutely go back next time we're in town.

We ordered our food, we both ordered a salad with a selected protein. The chef forgot the protein we had to send it back. The Mediterranean salad was also missing all the feta cheese. They brought out more feta cheese and after observing my plate of food, I observed a bug crawl out of my salad. Then I observed a large fly crawl out from inside the salad. This is unacceptable. We left without eating pretty nasty.

Amazing burgers and fries for the price! They have multiple different beers available on tap all locally made! I really like their garlic fries and their garlic burger they intergrate into the patty! Service is pretty friendly and dogs are allowed on the patio!

Ordered a salad then asked if the dressing did not have sugar in it which seemed to be an issue for the counter person to ask the kitchen staff. Once I gave up on the salad I ordered the chicken wings. The wings were hot & came out quickly. They were good sized & edible. I also ordered a tap beer which was served after the wings. I had to ask the server to bring me the beer. Weird place. Unlikely I’ll be back.

I remembered that I didnt like the garlic fries as they are dry and just covered in garlic salt and parmesan cheese. So I ordered the garlic burger and regular fries.... it was a mistake. The top bun/cheese patty is covered in the same parmesan and garlic salt/powder mixture drying out the entire burger. Pretty sure I didnt get the garlic aoli either as it was very mayo and onion tasting. My dinner is now fries and a milkshake as I threw out the burger. I was reminded why we dont go here often but we were there for a school fundraiser. Both the garlic burger and garlic fries on the menu say fresh garlic but unfortunately thats not the case. They were also out of peanut butter for the milkshake. Service and atmosphere were minimal as we went through the drive thru. Previously have loved the wings. They were very fatty this time. Not sure why this experience was so different from previous times where everything was good but again, things have clearly changed in the last year or so.

The cashier seems very kind and friendly to everyone, except when you have break outs or skin problems . He looked at me with disgust the whole time. The food runner just came to the table and threw the food away. When I turned around, she had run away too fast. I didn't get a chance to ask for ketchup. After the poor service from both people, my chicken sandwich came. The chicken tasted dry and old. I couldn't finish it, and with the employees' attitude, I didn't dare ask for a refund. The Gilroy Garlic Fries were okay. Everything else was horrible. I'll never return.

Great place, upscale burger place with beer on tap. Service was quick. Downside : fries need something, I got the garlic fries but they need some garlic aoli. Condiments need to be on the table. Or a condiment bar. Also the pickles overpowered the burger. They use a clawson cold pack style of pickles that have a super strong flavor. Have them put on the side. The rest was great. It's a wonderful spot.

The burger was AMAZING. (the fries were cold, but they brought me another order and they were perfect!) Great service! The shakes were amazing too! Table was kinda sticky, but not gonna complain.

Ordered a 3 meet pizza by phone was told it would ready in 15 min, I showed up in 5 min and only had to wait a couple of minutes. “5 stars for the wait time” While I was waiting I took a couple of pictures of the inside, the lady behind the counter told me I could not take pictures. I said I was not taking pictures of her, just the signs and advertisement inside the store “for Yelp” she said again, no pictures. So I put my phone away. And I am posting the pictures I took which are obviously not a big deal and only helps their Business. After paying for the pizza I took it to “the new dining area” the car. The lady did not offer me any condiments like they usually do at the one near my house, “different location” and no napkins. The pizza was cooked perfectly but the cheese had an odd taste. Over all I wasn’t to happy with this establishment and will not be going back.

I ordered through the mobile app for pick up. When I got home the cheezy jalapeño container exploded and spilled all over the top of the box and other sides I had ordered . Whoever works here should know not to put theses containers in the ovens that hold our food for pick up. A 1.25$ for theses and I’m not even willing to go back and get another one.

First she offered a meal deal to the person before me and tried to charge me full price individually to me!! Then When I said no thank you to the marinara sauce and asked for ranch instead she said she would have to charge me for the ranch even though I paid for marinara sauce I was not taking. I expressed confusion and she even brought someone from the back to rudely say the same thing. Pizza was cold and horrible when I got home! Where has customer service gone?

Everything boils down to poor management. The poor customer service, the food served, inconsideration, etc. The establishment closes at 10pm but the night shift leader has decided that after 9:30pm they're not going to cook anything else. She's going to sell you pre-prepared, old, 'pepperoni only' pizza without any other options even though they have other toppings and food in inventory. She also will tell you that items cannot be modified and are sold 'as is' and toppings cannot be removed nor added. If someone is paying for food, it's simple. DO NOT place items in the food if NOT wanted and place items that ARE wanted on the food.There's no advertising or notices to inform the customer of this location's 'store rules'. Poor management and no concept of customer service, the meaning of it, or the application of it!!!

I came in to order a pizza, Monday 6/19 around 6:00pm, I asked TM Angelica to pls make it fresh i waited 15 min, i came back I received a not fresh pizza, she started arguing that it was freshly made, I said to her i worked 20 years at Pizza Hut and I know what a fresh pizza looks like, she kept arguing that little ceasers was not the same as Pizza Hut, she had 2 customers behind me I told her I don’t want to argue with you pls remake my pizza & help the customer behind me they are waiting to order, she kept going at it & said I can’t be making you more pizzas with and attitude I had to feed my 5 year old I took the pizza and left, I called the store the next day to ask for the manager and a lady just said 5 o’clock and hung up! What a horrible customer service they have at this location.!!

I purchased a pizza to go, and when I opened it, when I got home, it was horribly burned, all of the pepperoni was cupped and totally dry, The crust was crunchy. I recommend going elsewhere, perhaps that is why they literally had no patrons while I was there.

Stopped by this place after dinner at Saigon-2-Siam since it's in the same Plaza. The boba offerings are just very basic: tea or milk tea with choice of flavor & toppings (mostly just popping boba, regular boba and crystal boba, no pudding). We got mega mango smoothie which was surprisingly good. Thought it's just mango but I think they added orange too and use real fruit so you can still taste the pulp. The wintermelon tea is alright, wish it has stronger wintermelon flavor. Tea is quite strong so it's a little bitter with only 50% sugar. Since the store also sells froyo, we thought we can sample some while waiting for our drink so we know whether it's worth returning to try it in future visit. However the staff seems unhappy and said sample is only for customer who is going to buy froyo, not for those buying drinks. Even tho the pomegranate raspberry sorbet was pretty good, don't think we'll return after this rude treatment.

Love their yogurt and tea. The smoothies is made with real fruits and it's so good and refreshing on a hot day. The kids love their yogurt and the toppings. Their boba is also very good, you can taste the tea. Some places add way too much creamer and you can't taste the tea.

My first time going here service was horrible, not even exaggerating, the tall skinnie girl was rude, i told her it was my 1st time, didn't answer my question all she did was look at the board. When i asked about my smoothie and what it comes with she stayed quiet, when i asked her what kind of teas there was all she did was look at the board and look at me with a blank stare, clearly no customer service, not to mention my smoothie didn't have the vanilla ice cream like i had asked for. If it did had no flavor in it. The yogurt and tea where very good. I'd give this place 5 starts but the tall skinny girl made my 1st time experience horrible. Didn't say thank you or nothing. The short girl on the other hand witch helped me with my second order had great customer service. I like to support local shops like these but the service that girl had was horrible like she didn't even want to be their.

Garlic World? Maybe Garlic City... Garlic Region at best. You would think a shop like this would focus on local produce. I didn't even see garlic grown in Gilroy. They had Mexican garlic for twice the price of Trader Joe's, though. Beyond that, they have a bunch of fine-looking jars of pickled objects, commercial candies and bulk nuts, and sodas. They have a produce section, but it's sad. Most of it looks neglected. I found a moldy lemon. I wouldn't really plan to buy much here, even for the novelty.

I always heard about the garlic ice cream finally on Sunday afternoon after long drive me , my son and friends tried it ,The texture is smooth and rich, just like any premium ice cream. What really impressed me was how well the flavors balanced. The sweetness isn’t too much, and the garlic adds a warm, earthy note that lingers just enough to keep you coming back for more.

Tried the vanilla garlic ice cream for $4--it taste like 98 percent vanilla and 2 percent garlic. Next time will try the chocolate garlic version. The BBQ inside doesn't sell soda with ice.

I love this place so much. It's a great place to stop on long drives (ie LA to SF). Great selection of dried fruits, sauces, seasonings, mustards and limited fresh produce. They also stock about six varieties of fermented items from Wise Goat Organics. They have a garlic cut out you can take pictures with. I saw families enjoying ice cream on the community bench, so sweet.

I love all things garlic and this shop doesn't disappoint. It's a bit pricey but so many delicious things to choose from! The BBQ was yummy too.

I had the shrimp fajitas. Pretty well seasoned meat and bell peppers but the rice and beans were basic. The indoor and (temporary) outdoor seating areas are nice, but the car traffic may annoy some.

Overall the food was great. The server was very attentive especially for being the only one working the floor. One thing I did not appreciate was the server deceiving us by offering if we wanted guacamole as soon as we sat down. Since it was offered, we agreed. She brought two molcajetes of guacamole and $26 was added to our bill for the charge of both molcajetes. The server also took it upon herself to over charge our card $38 without our consent. $38 that was not part of our bill. This woman is deceiving and I’m sure we’re not the first she has done this to. Luckily we had checked our bank app before leaving and took back the $40 tip we had left. I will not be returning. Be cautious.

The chips and salsa really enjoyable. I got the fried shrimp with rice and beans 10/10 I lov their beans and the rice is good just know it has vegetable mixed in. My family got chile verde and loved it. Go try this place you I’m sure You won’t be disappointed.

This place is fantastic! The portions are generous and well-served. I'm visiting the area for work, and after reading their reviews, I decided to give them a try. For lunch, I ordered the Aguachile Mango & Habanero, Aguachile Tamarindo, and Aguachile Divorciado for $24.99. It was the best ceviche-like dish I've ever had! (If you enjoy spicy food that makes you cry, this is the dish for you! 🔥😁) I also had a Baja taco, which was excellent as well. I loved my lunch so much that I came back for dinner! For dinner, I dined in and had the M.O.C Roll for $18. It was incredibly fresh and tasty! Also had the Spicy Edamames $10 it was a huge portion and tasted amazing! The atmosphere was lively and fun, especially with the live DJ they had on Friday night. The customer service was outstanding, from our waiter Andres to one of the owners, Ashley, who checked in to see how our experience was going. She was so genuine and made me feel very welcome. I will definitely be dining here for the rest of my stay this weekend! 2nd day here and still maintains its 5-star review from yesterday! I had lunch & dinner again. Lunch was Salmoncito Hot & salsa. Dinner was to go and it was the Fajita Trio. 3rd day here and sad it's my last! The service was by far the best I've received in my travels. Andres is a great waiter! We stopped here while outlet shopping. Service was very friendly and fast despite how busy it was. The atmosphere is lively and loud with a sports bar vibe and Mexican music. The menu was Mexican/Asian fusion. Chips and salsa were great ~ spicy! We ordered asada fries with guacamole, fried calamari with fried jalapeños, and a Gilroy roll ~ all delicious. It was way more than the two of us could eat! We also had a tamarind wine margarita, which was tasty and served with an orchid flower... festive! I'd go back if I were in the area.

Margarita and michelada were OKAY i love the decoration on the margarita. The moc roll is one that gets ordered a lot but personally the rice was mushy … tacos were good ! The nova sushi was good also … I wouldn’t be back due to waiting 40 minutes to get our food and noticed other tables were getting there after us and had their food.

Fun decor and music, reminded me of a favorite place back home! Carne asada plate was great; the asada itself was tender and tasted beautiful, plenty of sides that held their own. Salsa that came with the chips had real flavor, that was nice. Our waitress tonight (8/20/25) was super friendly and thoughtful—the sun was in our eyes so she kept going out to adjust an umbrella. Wish I had caught her name! With all that said, prices were pretty high. And the hot cheeto roll was pretty mid…but I don’t know what my wife was expecting.

Exceptionally disappointing. Ordered two rolls for carry-out: salmon roll (with hamachi) and the Culichi roll — one topped with “ceviche.” (Cost: $50 for two rolls.) Once we opened the to-go order, we realized one roll was the wrong roll (they gave us a hot, baked salmon roll covered in soupy cheese sauce). The Culichi roll was soaking in ponzu sauce from a heavy dumping of shrimp and octopus smothered in ponzu. The entire sushi roll was soaking wet and grossly inedible. Wanted to turn around on the highway to return everything but did not have time. Check your to go order carefully & avoid the Culichi roll unless all you want to eat is ponzu sauce.

Let me tell you Jellyfish Seafood Bar was absolutely delicious. While we were traveling we was looking for somewhere good and not usual to eat. When we walked in , IT SMELLED SO GOOD. As we are being walked to our table I can't help but glance at the plates and dishes we walked by, they LOOKED delicious and beautiful. THE FOOD WAS AWESOMELY GOOD. The portions were family size. This will be a must stop when going through Gilroy, because we couldn't try everything lol. So GOOD.

This place is a 2 for 1 special. Jellyfish Seafood Bar and Pineapple Village is connected. We were able to order off both menus. I ordered the Singapore Mei Fun w/Prawns and the Hubby ordered the Honey Walnut Prawns with a side plate of Steamed Vegetables. The prawns were big. The breading on the Honey Walnut Prawns was perfect. There was more meat than breading. The food was good and the server was nice. There was also a full bar. The Jellyfish Seafood side had multiple televisions with different shows on each one. One of the televisions was showing Bugs Bunny. The restaurant is kid friendly. I will definitely come back.

They don't offer vegetables on the side, unfortunately. I wouldn't go back again. The prices don't justify the taste of the food.

I’m so glad I overlooked the mix batch of reviews and decided to try this place. My mom and I were at the Outlets and she was hungry so I went on Yelp to search up food places nearby. After looking at a few food places we decided to head to Jellyfish Seafood Bar for an early dinner. A big factor why I chose Jellyfish was because I really wanted seafood boil and they had seafood boil here. I really enjoy the concept of this restaurant..seafood boil/thai food. YES YES AND YES!!! Whoever came up with this fusion..10/10 idea!!! If you want Thai food you get Thai food..if you want seafood boil you get seafood boil. Or you can get both!!! My mom and I decided to get both after looking at the menu. We got grilled oysters, garlic noodles, firecracker fried rice, and a mix of the shrimp/mussel seafood boil with jellyfish smack sauce (mix of all the sauces) hot. Everything was really good but our favorite dishes were the firecracker fried rice and the seafood boil!!! The jellyfish smack sauce was seasoned so well and it was a good level of hot..hot but enjoyable. I didn’t think it was that spicy but my mom said it was spicy but good spicy. My mom kept raving about how good the jellyfish smack sauce was while we were eating..she kept saying wow this is so good. I agree with her..the sauce is amazing and when you put it on some white rice it tastes soooo good. I’m going to try to explain this..sauces at places like Boiling Crab/ Kickin Crab..etc..like seafood boil in San Jose are Vietnamese owned..therefore their sauces tends to taste like Vietnamese/Cajun flavors. For some reason even though this is a Thai/cajun restaurant the seafood boil didn’t have the Asian taste to it..but more so American Louisiana taste..not sure if that’s what they’re going for..but regardless IT WAS SO SO SO SO SO GOOD!!! As someone who is Vietnamese and loves seafood boil I actually prefer this taste over the Asian one..both are good but if I to choose I would choose the seafood boil sauce from here. Also you need to get the firecracker fried rice!!! I think it’s a must if you decide to come here. The way they seasoned the rice was delicious. Spice with a hint of basil. Perfection!!! I’m bummed out this restaurant is all the way in Gilroy. This is the first time I’ve been to Gilroy in possibly over 10 years. I might just have to come to the Outlets more often so I can come have lunch or dinner here again. If you are in the area give this restaurant a try. Ignore the bad reviews come by and try the food for yourself. Shout out to our wonderful server. I didn’t get his name..but he was the taller guy and he was great. What a delightful place. I was greeted pleasantly when I came in and felt very welcomed. The person taking my order had such a nice attitude and demeanor. I ordered a matcha and I was asked if I wanted it sweetened. It's so nice to be able to regulate how much sugar I would in my drink. He let me know it was going to be a few minutes until my drink was done. The wait time gave me time to relax and enjoy the music they were playing on a record player. It which was so pleasant, it added to the vibe of the cafe. The drink was made to perfection. The Barista was very friendly. I so enjoy stopping in and giving business to small business.

I recently stopped by Camino Coffee in Gilroy and had a fantastic experience! The staff was super friendly and welcoming. I tried their Neapolitan Cold Brew, and it was incredible! The cold brew itself was smooth and rich, and the strawberry cold foam on top was absolutely delicious—just the right amount of sweetness and a perfect complement to the coffee. My friend went with the “Standard” Latte, and they loved it too—smooth, rich, and perfectly crafted. We’ll definitely be back! Highly recommend this spot for great drinks, a cozy vibe, and amazing customer service.

Oh I love this place. They have all the staples, but their menu of creative drinks is really interesting too. We got the Neapolitan latte, and it really did remind us of the ice cream. The vibe is really modern but cozy, simple. Plus, they have a whole collection of vinyl records that it looks like they play (though they weren't while we were there - we came in close to closing time) and a collection of board games. Compared to a lot of the other... Let's say less contemporary offerings in Gilroy, Camino Coffee was a really nice reprieve.

Cozy atmosphere, Yummy banana bread, a little too sweet for my taste. I very much enjoyed the Hojicha latte, it comes with honey. Service was excellent, everyone very polite and helpful.

I got the standard and it is a great latte. It is so balanced. You really get the best experience from your beverages. Also, the banana bread is to die for. Not too sweet and it is so soft that it melts in your mouth. A definite myst go place when you’re in Gilroy!

Lovely coffee shop with an immaculate vibe. Not only are the drinks and pastries great, but the staff are incredible. AND the music at the shop is playing from a record player and they show the album currently being played!!The shop is in a gorgeously remodeled gas station, which I think is awesome. Highly recommend for anyone driving through Gilroy, it's a must see.

Honestly, I never got a drink here. I walked in and got creepy, unsettling stares - just overall bad vibes. As a woman, I felt I was unsafe. I decided to leave and try somewhere else. Seems like it’s not a good place to go have a casual drink with friends and family. I would be willing to try it again to see if it was just a weird one time situation.

Great location, good beer selection. Silly rule about beers over 8% being served in small glasses, instead of a regular pint like the rest of the world, and it's all metal and concrete, so it gets extremely loud when there are a few people in there. All in all, though, pretty fun.

Nice clean bar. Always some kind of activity going on there. Tuesday is fun they have pool Tourneys. Nice crowd. A few of the regulars of the female variety lol don't like new women coming in and the young one is always yelling about someone or something.

This is a regular spot (one of the only spots to go really) in Gilroy for locals especially. Bartender was honestly pretty brusque, vibe wasn't bad, but I got into a physical altercation with a guy and his family outside of the bar because they overserved him on his 21st birthday and he swung on me out of the blue, his family tried to back him up. Not saying it's completely their fault, just trying to give a fair rating with everything in mind. Honestly this bar and the club across from it are constantly in a state of turmoil and the later it gets the more dangerous it gets there. Be careful going out the back door there as well as the alleys in between and the parking lot behind. The bouncers are great and do their jobs very well, love those guys.

Great bar. Good prices, good staff, super chill. It's comfortable and gives that neighborhood/locals bar vibe, without being a dirty cash-only dive bar or grungy whiskey pit. If you're in town, you should totally go, and buy a double of whatever you're drinking.

I was there Friday night. Got there around 11pm. Not too crowded. I liked that. Ages varied. Men outnumbered women 2 to 1. Still though everyone was friendly. I had a female approach me and introduce herself to me. Music wasn't too loud. Mostly wrap. Some older rock and groove too. They serve a wide variety of beer. Domestic too. I only had one. I didn't like it. They have catchy names but the bartenders use the numbers. I had #9. To me it tasted like flavored Alkaseltzer. I like beer to taste hoppy, full flavor. Everyone was having fun. Cutting loose. In a safe way. I recommend this place.

Besides the long wait in line, whether it's the Dine-In or Drive-Thru, the food is top notch (better than any other fast joint). Love the simple and minimal menu. Easy to order. Fast. Excellent service. Truly organized. Burgers and fries are as "organic" as they can get. Huge fan of In-n-Out.

One of the best fast food burger spots. Place is always crowded but managed efficiently. Prices are competitive. Parking lot with plenty of spaces. Indoor and outdoor dining.

This location has the nicest customer service I've had in a long time anywhere. They open the door and greet you. They all have a kind and friendly face. Damien (in the dine-in area) wiped down my table, asked if I wanted water while I waited and offered to help bring additional items to the table. So attentive and so appreciated especially after making the long drive. Food already speaks for itself. Simple and fresh.

I ordered a double no cheese protein style.... had to correct them which I thought I did nicely. Went to the 2nd window the lady said " since you changed ur whole order please wait in the front" Not exactly sure if they know what protein style is or if they've changed it since the last time I was at this location. But I thought protein style was wrapped in lettuce not a bun... but ok... thanks for a meal I cant eat.

I come here at least once a month I love the burgers and fries usually get mine protein style with extra meat! Even though they don't really have many menu options they will still make your burger any way you want. Usually they don't mess up the order and they are well organized. This place is a staple in my town hoping they will put more menu items on one day.

Smashburger alil salty, good flavor. Sauce is a thin thousand island dressing flavor. Busy but moved fast inside, associates very friendly.

Can't really review the atmosphere due to always going thru drive thru i know lines are long but they do go by fast in a way. I will always recommend in n out. I usually spend 35 for 2 adults 1 child

Visited in October 2024 First time having a meal in American Denny's. The diner was deserted by the time we were there, which was a good thing so we could have the meal in peace. Just as what we expected, the portion was huge. Surprised to get a full plate of salad as appetizer lol. Enough to be a meal on its own. My colleague found his beef steak was pretty okay. I opted for American classic biscuits and gravy because I was curious about it (hard to find one outside the US). This one was a miss - the gravy wasn't special, bland even. Perhaps it's just my expectation that was a bit too high.

The General Manager should be ashamed of herself and how she treats her staff. There was an issue with our bill due to a newer employee who charged our bill to another table so they asked us to pay the other tables bill and they would discount to what our price would be. That was fine we had no issues with that my issue is with GM that was present but refused to help her staff. At least 4 employees asked her for help and instead of helping and using it as a teaching lesson she berated her employees and yelled at them and went to her office and at this time she still didn’t help us the poor girl was clocked out and the GM had her still working trying to figure it out but she couldn’t cause she was off the clock and I don’t think her card worked to apply the discount that the GM told them to do. During this whole time we find out this poor girl has been clocked out. The General Manager should have stepped up and took charge of this situation and never have spoken to her employees in that way it was so disgusting and disappointing to witness. Finally 20min later she finally came to help and what do you know she was able to do it in less then a minute. This should have been taken care of by the GM from the start especially since she was present. Not only did we have to wait other customers were unable to pay and were upset as well. I will say our server and the other staff that tried to help went above and beyond to help us they do not deserve to work for management like this. I truly hope this is investigated that whole experience was unnecessary. Please feel free to reach out if you would like to discuss in more detail. Showed up and was pretty slow. Ordered and got our food 30 mins later. Kids mac was obviously microwaved, clumpy, cold and warm in places. Milk was not cold. Messed up the other 2 kids orders. Items all arrived cold or luke warm, french toast to cold for butter to melt on. Toast with butter pre melted and cold. Steak omlette with sliver of steak. Even for a denny's this well below the bar. Insane to drop 90 bucks on reheated leftovers.

Samira did an excellent job making me feel at home with her service. She was very attentive. Also, I had to ask about the cook because he cooked my medium rare steak to perfection. Bien hecho Jose!

I had a slam burger in this Gilroy Dennys location and the food was really good the meat was cooked perfectly the way I like it! The customer service was spectacular Blanca was very kind, respectful and helpful. The restaurant was very clean and organized. Blanca was constantly making sure I had everything I needed. I’ll be going to this location soon again! I 100% recommend!

The slams were really good. Mango smoothie that Samira suggested was delicious. I love the French toast. Samira was the sweetest waitress and really provided great service. Good job Denny’s

Food was okay, same as other Dennys. Service was slow even though restaurant was not full. There was a new employee training going on, so needed extra reminder to get water, etc. Order for desert of 1 ice cream and 1 smoothie took 20 minutes to make. Icecream was replaced with oreo smoothie and waiter asked if we want the ice cream to go. Didn't want to waste another 20 minutes waiting. Employee didn't ask for phone number or to offer to scan for Booth bucks. Couldn't scan for the booth bucks after making payment. Manager doesn't know how to add it on later on. Could have been a better experience. Won't be coming to this Denny's location again.

Crap! I'm sorry when you say grilled onions... Does that mean 3 tiny pieces of grilled onion on my burger? Bacon? You call that bacon? Had to squint my eyes to see it. I asked for napkins. Guess they just fell outta the bag. I've ordered from this place in the past and i guess the service has gone down hill. Delivery driver did his job and i have no complaints. But that was one of the worst burgers I've had. Better off going to McDonald's.

I brought 4 kids, 2 not mine, and we all ate under $50. The kids loved the sweet potato fries over the regular fries. I gave it 5 stars because I was struggling with the self serve kiosk and one of the workers said I can just help you here. And trying to figure out how to plus and minus items on a hamburger to get it right so a kid would eat it and not have a melt down is very important! Would definitely come here again after the Renaissance Faire!!

I have had larger cheeseburgers in a happy meal. Overpriced, not worth the stop. Don't waste your money.

Absolutely worth a visit if you are heading this are. Perfect spot if you are visiting Pinnacle National park. Top notch burgers that are flame grilled right in front of you. Plenty of value for money - a great in and out alternative.

Love the place. It's got really good food. Plenty of customization when it comes to your burgers and other meals. Their fries are extremely good.

The people who work here are nice. Not only that the food tastes great. Not only that it’s clean inside. They wipe the tables with clean fresh rags. Just a pet peeve of mine when a restaurant uses dirty towels or rags when they clean a table. This is a good place to relax and eat in gilroy. I recommend 10/10 bring the family!

Came for the time today and it was delicious. Thought very hard and can definitely say it's just as good, if not better than In N Out; considering I just got the cheeseburger and fries. Food quality is great, friendly staff, and doesn't have your typical fast food restaurant feel. Burgers, Fries, onion rings (amazing), shakes, and soft serve ice cream. Definitely recommend checking this place out.

Visited in October 2024 Had a lunch here when we made a stop from Marina/Monterey Bay area to San Francisco (with a bit of shopping in the factory outlets). Ordered the warm Reuben Sandwich, which was tasty and came with the right portion for me (disclaimer: I'm not big lunch eater). The unexpected real star of the meal was the dill pickle, perhaps one of the tastiest pickles I've ever had. It's just taste different, can't imagine a humble pickle could be this satisfying. The texture was also just right, neither mushy nor hard.

I had a wonderful time here with a large group of friends. We had a few different dietary needs in our group, and this was the only restaurant open early on a weekday morning in the area which could accommodate all of them. The atmosphere was laid back and comfy, our servings were generous in size, and we were able to enjoy ourselves without any pressure to rush. I would come back again.

Ordered sweet liberty no condiments, no onions. Person that took order went on break did not put my order or the person ahead of us orders in. Waited 20 minutes. Went to counter then had to find receipt to give to them. My sandwich had everything on it. I sent it back. Next sandwich had condiments. Took back. Next sandwich had nothing on it but meat and sprouts. We will go to MH from now on.

The farmers market grilled sandwich(with jalapeño added) was the favorite. The cold pasta salad was way too sour and good for only those who may like olives. The veg soup as bland but good.

My wife and I stopped by Erik's Deli Cafe. It did not disappoint. Service, food, and prices were exceptional. I will definetly be back for another great sandwich when traveling back home.

Im not sure what the hype about Erik's Deli is. Overpriced and so plain, no flavor, bland sandwiches. The soup and sandwiches are overpriced not worth it.

This Erik’s is horrible! Last Friday they gave me the completely wrong sandwich and was not aware I received the wrong sandwich until I got home 30min later. Today(Memorial Day) they were completely out of lettuce and sprouts ……WTH ! How do you call yourself an “Deli” and not have lettuce for a salad or sandwiches. Everything on their menu for the most part has sprouts or lettuce. SMH …..horrible !

I honestly had 0 problems with this place! Everything was super yummy (I had tofu chow mein) and an iced coffee. Definitely a good spot, will visit again! Everything is super authentic as well, so if your into that it's a perfect place for you! :)

Decent dishes for the portions at its price. They have very good milk tea drinks. Taro cake is really good! Very spacious with fast service. The veggies are fresh and the soup dishes hit the spot. Come hungry and be full. A quick hop from the outlet.

We enjoyed our lunch there even though we had a small servings, it was plentiful and very felling. Clean place & friendly staff. No tortillas or dinner rolls, dinner and lunch are great nothing. If you order the large serving make sure you're hungry. Love the cookies!

Price was on point and many options to choose from many people are getting take out however, coming in and eating would be better. Wheelchair access nice decor and food portions are great as well as taste. The oil chili is great

My favorite is the Pad Thai because it's less sweet than most Americanized Thai places serve. The service is definitely fast but many of their dishes lack the good flavor I'm used to at decent Vietnamese restaurants. I still would recommend this place as a quick lunch stop on the way to or from the Bay Area for someone with a taste for Asian food.

This is not a vegan place. But, they are quick to fill an order. The food is good and there are vegetarian dishes you can order. It is right off the Freeway so it is a good stop for travellers. If you like noodle soup, rice with vegetables and meat or tofu, and the pearl drinks this is a good place.

Love their chow phan noodles! It's one of the few places that has it. Pretty big portions where you can split for lunch and dinner. Quick service too. Watch out for customer service when paying, can be a little rude when wanting water or hot tea.

Take out only. We got the meat lover and hot honey pepperoni. Both were good. Would order again if I was in the area and craving pizza. Update: went back again. The pizzas were super soggy/oily. All the toppings are more toward the middle so it doesn't hold its shape when you pick up a slice.

Place looks cute! Ladies taking orders at the desk (I think they run the place too ) have to a do a better job welcoming people! Ordered a veggie supreme pizza, it had way too many garlics in it ( nearly 30 cloves on a single pizza). Didn’t appeal to my taste.

This was one of the best pizzas I have had in awhile living in California for the past 4 years. Te dough was great , topping and the meatball🤌🏼 9/10 if your in the area and want a great pizza !

My family has been ordering from Pinocchio's Pizza for years. Not necessarily from this location. But no matter which one of their locations you order from, the food is always fantastic. Our order has never been made wrong, it has always been done within the time frame given, you will never be let down ordering from Pinocchio's.

Really really good pizza !! Definitely new favorite place. They were also very courteous on the phone during order and at pickup- pizza had come out just when they said it would.

Sonic is not what it used to be, or at least this location isn’t.. Let’s just name all the bad then I’ll mention the good.. Food was cold, greasy. They forgot our corn dog, they gave us 3 extra drinks (sorry to whoever didn’t get their pink lemonade and sodas) The pickle fries were super limp and cold, the tater tots were greasy (they are usually crisp and delicious) and what the heck is this? (PHOTO INCLUDED) This is supposed to be Texas toast. No sir, this is bread, don’t try and jazzy it up. And dry bread, not a thing on it.. 0/10 recommend and we definitely won’t be back…

YIKES, Food is nasty ! First time coming for the Grillos collab ! First of, the bun is rock hard, idk if its for all burgers but all three we ordered had a bun hard as a rock. The food was not for me ! The tator tots were the only thing holding the meal together with the dill seasoning. The meal was 17$

First off, I made the mistake of coming on a busy Sunday afternoon. I had ordered on the app and didn't realize it would be that packed. Pulled into stall #1 few minutes after my meal was supposed to be ready for pick up, but app said it wasn't available so I got out and went to the patio and told a guy my name. Considering I was late getting there I figured my food wouldn't be warm so I waited at least 5 minutes, but nothing, so I went to the drive-thru. Should I have waited? Probably, yes, but I was getting hangry and that line was moving pretty fast. Got into drive-thru and at the speaker it sounds like they can't find my order so I ask, "So you can't find my order?" Soon after she says they found it, with attitude, she gave as good as she got. I did say I was getting hangry and it was now over 20 minutes after the original pick-up time. Now, we all know online orders are ALWAYS sealed when you get them. Mine was not sealed AND it was warm. She ended up stapling it in front of me, but behind the window. I told her that it should have been sealed and that I think they messed with my food now, I mean how obvious, right?! Spoke to her manager Nayeli, only to leave feeling dismissed. Opened my burger and found these hot peppers in it. I screenshotted from the app to show this burger does not come with peppers. Not putting the cashier girls name since she told me she's a minor and I don't want legal trouble.

For a fast food restaurant the food was good. Had a smash burger combo with coke to go. The order came out in a timely fashion. The order was hot and fresh, correct and complete. The requested sauces along with napkins and a straw were in the bag. This is a win for me because I have to look thru the bag at all fast food restaurants because MOST of the time they forget something. So.... ....I will definitely order food from this Sonic drive in again.

I went through the drive-through. It was hot and I wanted a slushy so I ordered a slushy strawberry slushy for me and my daughter and she wanted some chili cheese fries. The strawberry slushy was too sweet and the chili cheese fries I had never seen such a small portion of chili cheese fries. They definitely weren’t the share size. I guess if you’ve been traveling for a long time and you wanna stop and take a break it’s OK.

The food and atmosphere are fine - it’s fried American food, kind of hard to mess up. The service, on the other hand, was terrible. I went through the drive-through and asked if the food I ordered came with sauces. I was told yes. I also asked for extra limes in my drink, but when they didn’t confirm, I asked if they could repeat my order (since there’s no digital screen). They repeated it, but didn’t mention the drink modification, so I asked again. They finally confirmed. When I pulled forward and got my drink, it didn’t have the extra limes. I asked AGAIN, and they finally fixed it. Then I drove away and realized my order had no sauces. I had to drive back through again. When I thanked the guy at the window, he just stared at me. No “sorry” for any of the errors not even a “you’re welcome.” For the price and the headache, I’ll air fry my corn dogs and mozzarella sticks at home.

I do not recommend this place at all. From the moment you order, it takes a long time, and you have to wait more than an hour to get your food,and that’s if they don’t mess up your order. This is my third time coming here, but I will definitely not be coming back.

After waiting nearly 30 minutes for the orange chicken, we got home and after eating majority of it at the bottom we found a hair. This is a health hazard and extremely disgusting.

Such a horrible experience here. I placed a pickup order for 9:10 and they wouldn't let me in at 9.00. Asked me to use the drive through. If you cant respect the time showed on the Google business then why even bothering advertising false info.

I never leave reviews but I needed to. They were rude when my wife and I went through the drive thru and to top it off there was a long ol hair in my chow mein. I had the pleasure of pulling it out of my mouth.

Ordered a bowl in the drive thru and added a drink pulled up to the window and i paid for the order and i did not have the drink. I asked for the drink and the girl at the window said i should have ordered it at the speaker which i responded i did but maybe my accent was hard to understand. I tried to add the drink and pay for it at the window and she slammed the window on me and walked away with a smirk. I did not catch her name but she wears glasses. Not the first time she is known for being rude other times I’ve been there she does not add forks or asks if i want any sauces. She seems like she hates her job idk why shes there if her customer service is the worst. Super disappointed.

I don't know why, but this is the only walking distance restaurant to the charging station and we were hungry. Dropped by and got really disappointed with the food quality, overall looks, cleanliness of the restaurant and quality of service. Personnel seems like we were abusing them with our order by giving us the nasty looks. Outside the fact that Chow Mein felt raw and tasted like rubber, the sweet pepper in the grilled veggies had spoiled, had a rotten spot. Throwaway plates and plasticwear was a no, no as well. Deserts got served in the to-go paper bags. Quickstop turned out to be a great disappointment for the Sunday brunch.

Lackluster food, only really made edible by copious amounts of sauce. Food was 'warm' NOT hot, egg rolls no taste, orange chicken ugg I've had better from frozen food isle at supermarket. Will I go again NO. If want you revenge send your in laws there

There were empty trays 2 hours before close. Everything was made after ordering. Not the ideal bizniz model for this style. At least the food was good regardless of the 15 minute wait.

Food alone would be 5 stars!! The staff was curt & bordering rude. We ordered 2 dozen egg rolls for an event. I had never been there and not a welcoming environment. If I was ordering my meal, I would have left it was that 'cold". Too bad because egg rolls were excellent

The food menu got smaller since the pandemic but talking to the owner they explained why, the staff is nice as long as you give them respect just like any other resturant. The food quality I'd say is above cafeteria so like IKEA level, but its chinese food and pretty good the egg rolls are definitely their specialty my mom and I love their sweet and sour pork with the pineapple chunks. In short decent service decent food at a decent price I'd argue the only thing that's bad is not many people come there to eat alot is take out, but cool people.

We loved our egg rolls! Crispy, delicious and hot! I noticed that other reviewers complained about service but while I was there the ladies were friendly, had our food ready and packed our food securely. We will be ordering from them again.

Hello, I am a dasher and today, August 12th, at almost noon, I received two orders from this store. I went to the store. Upon arrival, I approached the counter where the service was terrible from the beginning. They can see you but they ignore you and serve you when they want. The service has been terrible since I picked up at this establishment. However, today the person who served me was rude and arrogant. I expressed my dissatisfaction with her service in a polite manner and she answered in a grotesque manner. She replied that I should cancel my orders because she was not going to deliver anything to me. She only managed to give me a bag and incompletely asked for my name and I gladly gave it to her because the one who is doing her job wrong, not me. It seems to me that if you offer a service where you have to interact with people, your attitude should be different, whether with clients or coworkers. It is about arriving with the best attitude and giving your best because that is what they pay for. Given all this, I called the delivery company. which I am and I submitted the report because I had an uncomfortable moment and it affected my integrity as a person, I requested the name of the employee but they did not want to give it to me and they did not have a badge to identify them. I leave here a photo of this person so that the people in charge of the performance of this person can provide a workshop or feedback on how the customer service is, in addition to other deficiencies that the place has such as cleanliness, something so important also for a food establishment.

We tried to order, to use the restroom but they wouldn't give my daughter the code until after we pay; they rather she pees in her pant before giving the code out. Mcdonald's does Not treat their customers this way. Never will we buy from Jack in the Box.ever.

I tried to order the monster munchies meal and they were out of something it contained. I would want to believe that if they were promoting some special they would have all the components to create it. I ended up with two tacos, an order of stuffed jalapeños and a drink. It took over 30 minutes for the to fill my order.

The guy from the drive thru was rude when he takes olders all he saids is Que Queeeeeeeee like if his deaf or something he even has a peso pluma hair cut and has a staring problem will never go their again 👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎

The ladies are friendly and professional. The breakfast is filling. Eggs, bacon, sausage burritos are pretty decent and delicious. The hashbrowns are golden brown and crunchy. Food is filling. Coffee is pretty darn good. I like breakfast here on the run. Cheers.

This is the smallest Jack in the box I've ever seen. Even the sign inside says "maximum occupancy 5"! The burger patty was dry. Also you should know that this is not the nicest neighborhood in Gilroy. We stopped here because we were looking for a quick bite to eat before going to Gilroy Gardens but wouldn't recommend anyone else to do the same.

This jack in the box should have number codes to go inside the restroom since there so strict about restrooms are for customers only. The manager had to physically open the door when he could have just handed me the keys. Very disappointed with this jack in the box.

Not to ruffle anyone’s feathers, but if you’re looking for a fast food review of El Pollo Loco, you should probably just skip it. Can’t imagine who might read this review looking for outstanding food, but if you’ve made it this far, don’t chicken out! I’ll do my best to wing it without breaking a leg. First off, they have a cleaver for a door handle, which made me chuckle. I may like white meat, but I also love dark humor. The restaurant was clean and the staff were helpful. My gal had her feathers ruffled because it took a bit longer than normal to get our food(5 or 6 minutes total?) and just when I thought she flew the coop, our scratch arrived. One had to rank fast food on a fast food scale, so anyone expecting a Costco Rotisserie to be served should click their heels together and say Costco three times(which for $5.99, you’ll lose your head over THAT value!) But we weren’t at Costco and didn’t order a rotisserie chicken. We ordered chicken salads, and they didn’t taste like chicken sh*t. The lettuce was fresh, like it had been plucked from the fields that very afternoon. The chicken was tasty, so no one laid an egg. The avocado dressing was worth crowing at the sun over. All in all, a 3 out of 5 due to the food being overpriced by about 30% and me having to listen to my gal’s squawking for two extra minutes. 😜

I love this place, I come a decent amount! One of the best places to get quick grilled chicken and something relatively healthy if you know what to order. Most of the workers are really good at customer service and getting their job done, at least when I go. Their is a couple of guys that do seem inconsistent with attitude and work ethic though. I think that this is a great restaurant overall!

Located right off the freeway. Ordered food through the drive thru and service was fast. I ordered the chipotle chicken burrito, which was a good size. However, there were quite a few burned chicken pieces. I don't like the taste of burned chicken so I didn't finish the burrito.

The food was delicious! Chicken roasted over fire, delicious! The restaurant was clean and l loved how it was decorated. It is essentially fast food but healthy fast food! The cashier was super nice but one of the servers was actually quite rude. My husband is Deaf and we appreciated the cashiers efforts to help us but the other gal was simply not very nice! I wish I had gotten her name! We will go back and give it another try, maybe she was having a bad day…the food was so worth it!

This one is conveniently located just off the 101 in Gilroy. It was clean and neat inside with ample parking. Service was fast and friendly and the food was fresh. It was the only location ive been where they were playing Mexican music. It was an interesting change, but appropriate! I would definitely stop here again.

Love their chicken and always cooked to perfection.... but came there at 8:30pm.... no thighs nor drumsticks, so got wings. Over cooked wings and tough/dried out. Best to go earlier in the daytime.

They have a new self-order system without window cashier's. I started to order but the descriptions on the screen didn't match what it said on the menu so I had to guess and ordered something similar but not what I wanted so only ate 1/2.

They put only one patty and one peace of cheese on DOUBLE cheeseburger. They also didn't bother to remake my order.

I get this is not a very populated area, but what's the point in having just two employees during lunch? I guess the limited crew would explain why there are no napkins on the tables or outside garbage cans. Less stuff to keep up I guess. The chicken sandwich was almost $11! Just the sandwich! I ended up getting a burger and my bun was dry and hard on the edges. Yuck. Glad we're just driving through.

They can barely understand English in the drive thru and it makes ordering if you're not fluent in Spanish almost impossible. I'm all in favor of working through language barriers but when I have to settle for less then what I expected or can't get what I'm wanting because the staff that management/ownership hires have no desire to work with the customer you've created a problem that I won't waste my hard earned money on. I can't recommend this place unless your fluent in Spanish or can go inside and use a translating app.

Stopped by Carl’s Jr. last night because I was starving for a burger. I ordered a Famous Star with cheese, no onion, single patty—but they gave me a double instead. It was fine, just too much meat for me, so I didn’t end up finishing half of it. The fries tasted like they had been cold and then re-dipped in oil, so they were a little greasy. I didn’t complain since I was exhausted and just wanted to eat. This location is right off the freeway with tons of parking, even for big rigs and larger vehicles. There’s a truck plaza with diesel fueling stations nearby, so it’s definitely a spot geared for truck drivers and heavy equipment. Overall, it was an okay stop convenient and plenty of space, but nothing special.

Hello, this morning after completing my order, I used the restrooms. I heard someone coming out and not hearing anybody washing their hands. After I washed my hands I knew 100% that the female didn’t wash her hands because I didn’t hear the electric hand dryer being used nor the door handle being wet. After coming out I asked which female used the restroom. The young woman said which bathroom, what other bathroom can be used than the female bathroom I asked. She said she used it, I asked her why she didn’t washed her hands, which she responded that she did. I confronted her that the electric dryer hasn’t been used, she responded that she used the paper towel in the kitchen area. Her supervisor approached her in Spanish than chimed in and offered me in a very unpolite way if you don’t want your order we can redo it. My point is, if she did washed her hands why was the door handle NOT WET!!!!! I submit the complaint to the company website.

I love Carls Jr.! Would give higher score if they would actually add a chili to the Santa Fe Chicken Sandwich! Adding pic showing the tiny slice they have added for the 3rd time. The meal is NOT worth $13.00. Ridiculous. Won't go to the Gilroy location again.

Its fast food, its Carl's Jr. If you've eaten here before, the chain has a good reputation and they continue to deliver at this location. I stopped here BC highway 101 at this spot was very slow. Plus, the day was HOT. So, i stopped to cool off, use the restroom, eat something and sit the traffic out. It worked out great. The AC was super cool. The dining area and restroom was clean. Surprisingly, it wasn't crowded. Groups came through and left. It seemed perfectly. I took a break in here for about an hour. Had my meal. Peacefully. Moved on.

Hello everyone I would like to give my opinion on the establishment. It is clean and doesn’t smell bad. What this establishment lack is customer service the lady is very rude and stingy. I bought a soup and she only wanted to give me one tiny container of green chile. She gave me a dirty look when I wanted two more. I have no trouble paying for more if she would have asked me too. The Wong tons taste a bit old other then that it’s ok. Would only come back because it’s the only one near by. Please do better we are customers who support your business………

Bad service. Came here on a Saturday after Home Depot. Decided to give it a chance even though I had 3.8 stars. Walked in and had to seat my self and pick my own menu. Food looked really good on the picture but ended up just being a big mess. Portions was low. Quality of the food was eh. Not worth the money or the time Gilroy had plenty of good Asian food spots and this one isn't one of them Listen to the recent reviews and don't waste your money

Sort of old and divey but the service is good, the food comes out fast and hot, and the food hits the spot. The won ton soup was good. Fairly sized won tons in a nice clear broth. Combination noodle soup also good though nothing to rave about. The egg fried taro root is a dish we have eaten at TK Noodle years ago. Not as good as I remember but came out blazing hot so I think it was fresh.

They close at 7pm and already power washing at 6:30Pm. The were washing the hoods and cooking area, that mist flew around the kitchen and into my soup. I still ate it though. Broth was okay, wontons were hard and dry. The chicken seems to be from rotisserie chicken. The photos looked good but really the quality of the ingredients are really low. Maybe they used to be good but right now, it’s changed.

The food was delicious but, they don’t have water, you need to buy bottled water if you are thirsty, I have never been to restaurants that didn’t offer water, this will be my first! Pay with cash otherwise they add surcharge on the credit sale.

We walked-in, place was not crowded on Wed around 6pm, and lady took my order, and requested we sit at the sofa seat. Payment is at counter after meal. Note that they charge 40cents for every 10dollars if pay by credit card. We paid cash. The #9 combination soup noodles was nicer than expected. $12.50 a bowl. Soup was rich in taste though noodles a ted bit more on the hard side. Pork was good too. Prawn is very fresh. To add, the toilet is very clean and spacious.

Service was good. I ordered the chicken chow mein and got the crispy chicken Instead. The chicken had bone in it, which was kind of a turn off. I added soy sauce and plum sauce and then I was able to eat it. I think because it was my first time I did. Ot know how this restaurant worked. The local seemed to know what's up. They didn't seem to have any problems.

Friendly and well setup pizza place. They serve the most guilt free and guilt laden pizzas of your choice with a calorie counter to each. They also provide keto option, vegan options and vegetarian options in addition to the usual meat options. They have a wood fire oven that really gives that authenticity to the taste. What's more you get to choose your base, your sauce, your cheese and your toppings. And it's not a dent on the pocket as much

Great tasting, thin crust, fast and affordable pizza 🍕

We have been to this location several times and the quality is great, the service always friendly, and today with the extra precautions they have really done well with the added safety. I love the gluten free & dairy free options and the overall variety they offer! I am grateful they are open so I didn't have to cook again today!

Came here on a saturday night and place was a bit busy but well worth the short wait. Pizza was crisp and for 8.99 you get unlimited toppings. I added cilantro and pesto on my choice and it was a good decision. Overall good experience and will try again.

Best gluten free pizza I’ve had anywhere. Quality cheeses and ingredients with artisan quality crusts. Beautiful pizza oven visible in store with a unique branding in the fire area, see photo below. I only tried the gluten free crust, but the sights and smells in their pizzeria leave me fairly confident the conventional crusts are absolutely amazing as well

Very unsanitary, bathroom's smell of urine an dirty sewer water. Staff is unprofessional, management needs to be retrained in customer service skills. I'd give it a zero but 1 is the lowest rate. Don't eat at this location please.
