Factory Outlets
San Francisco Premium Outlets in Livermore, California is a top destination for fashion enthusiasts seeking designer and brand-name clothing, shoes, accessories, and housewares at discounted prices. With over 180 stores featuring renowned designers such as Coach, Gucci, Prada, and Kate Spade, this outlet mall offers a delightful shopping experience for those with discerning tastes on a budget.
These are my go to outlets within an hour plus drive of my house. They have some high-end stores with outlet pricing. It does get very busy here and I have a feeling there is tourist bus passing through because in the parking lot they have a designated area for those buses. Not sure if they are people traveling cross country or visiting the US.

It's a good place to shop for clothes, shoes, wallets, and other accessories. But it's not a place for guys and children looking for electronics, game shops, anime goods, or similar items. Anyway, I liked this place's warm summer day shopping vibe. There's a food court that provides different kinds of food that will keep you fueled for a long shopping spree. I recommend this place.
Junhyun K — Google review
An outlet mall that features large stores from almost all major brands. The mall is quite large and involves a lot of walking. There is a proper food court along with smaller coffee and ice cream shops, as well as vending machines spread across the mall. The pricing at all stores is considerably discounted, while majority of the stores have further larger discounts available. Not much tech available in this outlet mall, however definitely a good place for shopping clothes, shoes, jewelry and other accessories. The free parking lot circles around the mall, and for short trips it’s better to find the store and park closer to
Avais S — Google review
Place is big , clean, restrooms are in good shape, lots of parking, really just went to sole & laces this time, but lots to choose n shop from
Alex C — Google review
This outlet mall has a great selection of large stores from nearly all major brands. It’s quite spacious, so be prepared for a bit of walking. You’ll find a full food court, smaller coffee and ice cream shops, and even vending machines conveniently located throughout. Most stores offer significant discounts, and many have additional sales that make the deals even better. While there aren’t many tech stores here, it’s an excellent place to shop for clothing, shoes, jewelry, and accessories. Parking is free and surrounds the entire mall. If you’re planning a quick visit, it’s best to find your store first and park nearby for easy access.

Update: I had a great experience in San Francisco Premium Outlets! All the stores were well maintained, stocked, and clean, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The decorations as I walked through many different brands felt like a mall but outside, and it had many sitting benches and resting places plus restrooms which were convenient. Overall, it’s a great place to visit if you are looking for apparel and shoe stores near you in Livermore/Pleasanton area. (Comment originally posted a year ago from: “Pretty good.”)
Levent — Google review
Great shopping experience! Huge selection of top brands with amazing discounts. The outlet is clean, well organized and easy to get around. Perfect for finding deals on clothes, shoes and accessories. Brazilians will love it too as there are many favorite brands with much better prices than back home. Totally worth the visit!
Laerte L — Google review
I luv a bargain and I do not find particular joy in clothes shopping. So I try to maximize my time, energy, and dollars when I do. With that in mind, I planned a shopping excursion out to the San Francisco (SF) Premium Outlets. I purposely did not go on a weekend. I did that to avoid the crowds and lack of sufficient parking. Overall my first ever experience at the SF outlets was a success ... I survived! I was able to purchase clothes, in my hard to find size, at bargain prices. These outlets include a good mix of brands (designer , luxury, and mid-range). The luxury brands include Versace, Salvatore Ferragamo, Burberry, Prada, Tory Birch, Zegna... just to name a few. There was a food court and food stalls scattered about the outlet. The outlet is beautifully designed and landscaped with art sculptures and plants; adding to a more pleasant shopping environment. But my gripes are the parking lot and the lack of janitorial staff. The parking lot has only one exit/entrance. The flow of traffic gets logged jammed and it becomes the Wild West of line merging. Regarding the janitorial needs, I spent practically the entire day at the outlet and do not recall seeing any janitorial staff. The women's restroom closest to the food court was atrociously dirty and got more so during the day. Trash bins were overflowing and there was a strong sewage smell. The other restrooms were not as worse, but not clean either and less likely f a strong odor. Plus the food court dining area was a hot mess as well. Tables needed to be cleared and cleaned.

Amusement park
Boomers Livermore is a national entertainment center chain that offers various exciting activities such as mini-golf, go-karts, bumper boats, and arcade games. If you're looking for a fun-filled day out without the monotony of shopping malls or dining out, Boomers is the place to be. However, it's important to note that there can be long queues for the Go Carts, which can be frustrating especially when waiting under the sun.
We had a great time at Boomers! Whole place was very well maintained, friendly staff and solid value. Amari ran the go karts and was accommodating and knowledgeable. I would give it 6 stars if I could. Just awesome.
Glenn S — Google review
Spent an incredible afternoon at Boomers and honestly couldn’t have asked for a better family outing. The go-kart track was a huge, the karts were well-maintained and the track layout kept things exciting. The mini golf course was beautifully designed. The arcade was fun and the water bumper car were awesome. The atmosphere was welcoming, the facilities were clean and well-maintained, and the staff went out of their way to ensure everyone felt included.
RB — Google review
We had a great time with the entire family. The attractions were so fun. Only giving four out of five because the food service could be better. The wait to order took SO long. Way too long. And the floor was sticky, tables were dirty. I get it, it was a weekend and they were busy but they needed more staff support in that area.
Stephanie U — Google review
Awesome place to take your kids to have some fun, especially on the go-carts, arcade is fun, beer cans are kinda high priced for the type of beer the have, not worth the price in my opinion, pizza looks good and also the wings.
Busa S — Google review
There are email offers and deals, but still twice the price if you are an old season pass holder.. Visited October 2023, went on a Friday around 4 pm before it "gets busy", and it really wasn't busy at all, though we would whiz through multiple rides etc.. We did one round of mini golf (which went as quickly as it should go) but the go-carts took forever! Not sure what the hold up was.. the racers left, new racers got on, took forever before they got their turn.. then we waited.. got on and took forever getting people buckled in and make announcements. Just didn't seem well coordinated like it used to be. Still a nice long time to ride, but took just as long in between.. Appreciate all the enhancements and updates to the park.. From last year at this time to the same time this year, service is below par.. it wasn't even busy, but garbage cans were overflowing, outdoor patio and other picnic tables covered in debris.. it wouldn't take much to get this place to 5 stars, but doesn't seem like anyone cares anymore... sad

We did not have a positive experience at Boomers. I purchased a 1hr and a half bday package for him and his friends and the per person cost doesn’t make any sense. I was told by phone that as soon as I made it at the given time I booked they were going to sit us down, go over the food and give me the tickets, I waited 15 mins to be sitted, my waiter/host didn’t appear until 35 minutes after the bday had already started. I had to ask for the kids bands and cards, I had to ask for he bday shirt, I had to ask for the food to be reviewed, nothing was just made easy for the party. I ordered the food and drinks and some options were not available and the host decided to just replace it by whatever she wanted without consulting with me. I told her and she just got defensive. I said you are supposed to bring us what we order and want not what YOU want. $35+ for a very small flatbread is CRAZY. The pizza price delusional. Anyways food came out close to the 1hr mark and I had to rush everything, as we only had30 mins left. I asked for the cake plates, wasn’t offered or given. One of the plates had a hair. Then after the party me and a friend made a line to order a drink and in total waited almost an hour to be given our drinks because the cashiers are under 21. Why not say that before we ordered the drinks!! Had to wait for the manager for the refund or to get the drinks. Ridiculous. There was no manager in sight!!! Another employee from another side of the establishment had to come give it to us as the last resource. It gets really full and parking is not sufficient. Mini golf is cool.
Dayanara L — Google review
Very professional employees, clean facilities, golf course well maintained. As adults, we had a lot of fun!

Go to place for the kids to burn off some energy, and, have fun. We get the one ticket for all events, and, they have a blast. Clean. Well staffed. And, everything was up and running!

Donut shop
Donut Wheel is a 24-hour cash-only eatery that offers a variety of treats such as donuts, fritters, bagels, and ice cream. It's a popular spot for late-night dining in the Tri-Valley area. The mom-and-pop shop is known for its classic donuts and excellent service. Customers rave about the delicious donuts and the friendly staff.
So I went here because my friend broke her arm in the parking lot as a kid and we got donuts for nostalgia reasons. Didn't know this was a somewhat popular place and really happy I went ! The storeowner was so nice and chatty, even by 9PM. Donut Wheel we will remember you forever.

This is the first donut store - that I know of - that is open for 24 hours. The store reminds me of the 1990s. They are CASH ONLY. We tried their chocolate donut with rainbow sprinkles, custard filled donut and their classic donut. All were fresh and really soft. Might drive here again to try their other donuts.
Mayuresh D — Google review
Hands down the BEST donut shop in the bay area. Their donuts are unbelievably good, like melt-in-your-mouth delicious. I've tried almost every flavor, and I haven't found a single one I didn't love.
Tori C — Google review
This used to be my go-to donut shop wherever I came to Livermore.. I think this will be my last time purchasing donuts from here.. The donuts I bought were dry, and one was even stale and old tasting.. I got a glazed donut.. a jelly donuts and 2 cinnamon cake donuts.. my husband even agreed with me.. this donuts shop has gone downhill..
Diana W — Google review
I really enjoyed donut will however I did not get any donuts. We did purchase some donut holes and had a conversation with the staff member there. This place is located in downtown Livermore and is open 24 hours. If you're in the mood for donuts late night, stop by and check them out

I get the place is old but soap and water is free and the store could look like it belongs in Livermore not Stockton...I'm a military veteran I love the doughnuts but can't help seeing all the issues doughnuts piled in a bucket on the floor doughnuts under the table old faded signs ECT reminds me of Iraq..

The sweetest older gentleman helped us out with some of the best donuts. He made my night being so kind and helpful with suggestions. Would go back again and again! Super fresh and good donuts.

Keep checking on the time for up and close. We haven't been by here much but it looks like it's open later now. 2024 update It is open 24 hrs but closed briefly at 9pm for shift change Steady stream of customers after 9pm Thursday, September 5 2024 Old review Usually would do 5 stars, because as pedestrian and a bit run down as Donut Wheel appears, they are the best donuts in the Bay Area, and we try every donut place we come across. Ditch the gourmet expensive ones that are popping up all over. THESE are REAL donuts. but last night they were out of some of our favorite donuts. Hence the 4 stars. I understand. It's a small family operation like Liguria Bakery in SF. They run out. So be prepared to not have you first choice if you're there late Saturday night. . Still worth the trip if you're in the Livermore area, or passing by on 580 to the Sierras or to home. ******* Update July 1, 2023. We still believe in the wheel. It's a family operation and they do have staffing issues on occasion. While listed closed at 10pm Saturday night, they're only closing long enough for the clerk to get his father in law and they will be open all Saturday night long. Ask the clerks for updates on hours. Things do change. Remember, the early birds get the stuffed donut holes. Please patronize a great family owned place. Covid screwed things up and more sales will help out. More donuts equals more smiles

Meadowlark Dairy is a long-standing drive-through in Pleasanton that offers a variety of dairy products such as milk, cheese, and ice cream. The dairy is known for its limited but classic ice cream flavors like vanilla and chocolate, as well as vegan options like orange, strawberry, and pineapple. They also occasionally introduce new flavors. Customers can expect quick service whether they visit the walk-up window or use the drive-thru.
Creamy and velvety ice cream! Absolutely loved the flavor and texture of their ice cream! It’s a popular spot so there will be a line. However, they are efficient in taking orders and the line moves fast. They have vegan options too. I tried their Guava Daiquiri with Vanilla ice cream, loved it! Definitely worth the wait!
SB D — Google review
Hot summer sunset, we got one of the best icecream with just $4 (large size with as many flavors as you want). I got chocolate, pineapple and strawberry. The place is not really having table for guest but you can street parking, get in line, order your dessert and walk to the Firehouse Arts Center across the street to enjoy the moment.
Vinh T — Google review
Walking distance from the house in Downtown Pleasanton, we frequently make stops here and they never disappoint! They have a great creamy texture that you expect from an ice cream, and they rotate special limited time flavors often enough that I need to check back to try them! They're always a hit if you're looking for a sweet treat, but they are very popular and frequently very busy so they might have a wait but they move fast.
Mila C — Google review
Anyone who gives this place a low rating doesn't like soft serve. This was the best I've ever had. Wasn't sugary, it was flavorful and satisfying. I tasted watermelon for the 1st time ever and it was amazing. If I am ever in the area again I will be stopping by again.
Levi 5 — Google review
Best ice cream in the Bay Area and it’s not even close! The lines can be long but the workers are super quick and friendly. Also first time that I ate ice cream in a cone with no mess! Perfect portion size and super fresh. Definitely will be coming back!
Michael D — Google review
We made a trip out to Pleasanton to try out this famous soft-serve spot. I totally understand the hype – the soft-serve itself was easily the highest quality I've had in California. Hugely impressed, I see why it's so popular. There's a dedicated lane for this spot that was a bit confusing at first, but eventually it becomes quite clear. Their ordering system is far and away the most efficient ordering system I've experienced. That alone warrants a five star review; we ordered while at the back of the line, and didn't even get to the front of the line before we had our ice cream. Massively impressive!
Jake B — Google review
Best soft serve ice cream in town! This place has a long line running drive through that moves at a fast well organized pace. Not only do they offer vegan soft serve options but they also sell other products that you can get through the drive through; milk, cheese, eggs, etc. We drove through on a busy Saturday afternoon & it took us 11 minutes to be in & out. Did I mention their prices are very reasonable $

Restaurant
Roya Afghan Cuisine is a traditional eatery in a calm atmosphere, offering both meat and vegetarian dishes. They have the enticing mantu, which is highly recommended as an appetizer or main course. Their chicken options are also satisfying. As one of the finest Afghan restaurants, Roya Afghan Cuisine stands out even in Toronto, ON, Canada - known for its exceptional Afghan food scene. Each order includes Afghan bread and salad.
Had takeout in person order ~15 min wait. The mantu is delicious - it's an absolute must and comes in both appetizer or entree form, and the chicken dishes are v filling. One of the best Afghan restaurants I've ever been to and I come from Toronto, ON, Canada which has a strong base of amazing Afghan restaurants. Also comes with Afghan bread and a salad.
Sakib I — Google review
Simply delicious Indian/middle eastern style food (forgive me, this is my first impression of Afghan food). Small and family owned. The lamb Korma and the tomato chicken dish had very delicate flavors and super tender meat. Prices (had lunch menu) are very reasonable ($11 to $14 entrees) but probably a few $ more for dinner. Still not bad for a white tablecloth restaurant in the center of the downtown street. Will definitely return.
A G — Google review
This was our first time eating Afghan so we have nothing to compare it to. It was delicious, not spicy and very interesting. We got the chicken and goat. We would eat here again.
Daniella G — Google review
Really delicious! We went for lunch and sat out on the front patio. They start you with a nice little salad and also give you 3 sauces, two of which are nice and spicy (read: super spicy, I just happen to love super spicy). I had the lamb with spinach (sabzi challaw) which was excellent! The lamb was super tender and flavorful, and there was a lot of delicous sautéed spinach on top. My mom got the vegetarian platter which included spinach, pumpkin, and eggplant (Sabzi, Kadu and Badenjan) topped with yogurt. She said it was really good! We also got the goush-e-feel which is a fried pastry dessert. Good but very large and I was already super full from my lunch. The Afghan bread is lovely as well! We'll be back for sure!
Rachael S — Google review
I made my own sampler from the appetizer section and couldn’t have been happier. Everything was absolutely fresh and sitting out on the patio on a beautiful sunny day, it really was an ideal afternoon; interestingly enough, today was the first day of fall and it felt like summer still! The mantu here had more vegetable variety than any other place I tried and the sambosa what is evidently just made so it was perfectly hot and crisp! I forget the name of the eggplant medallions but they too were delicious. Totally fair prices for the quality and ambience! Downtown Livermore is a pleasant stroll as well! Please come support this local restaurant and enjoy the surroundings!

Was bummed that they didn’t have vegetarian Bolani. However, the food we ordered was tasty. Bread served was cold. The sauces were tasty. Complimentary salad was fine, dough drink was yum. Kids loved Salmon And chicken kebab. Would come back here and recommend to try at least one time if not more.

Excellent Afghan restaurant in Livermore, CA. I ordered the Bulanee Katchalu appetizer: ground lamb, mashed potatoes, and herbs stuffed turnover. The entrée was a combination kabob: lamb and beef with brown rice and a side of Boranee Kadu: sautéed pumpkin topped with yogurt and meat sauce. The Afghan Cardamom Tea was also really flavorful!
Mark E — Google review
Have been here twice now with no experience with Afghan food beforehand. Both times, the kabobs have been so good. I have tried the chicken, beef, and lamb at this point and have not been disappointed. Super juicy and just the right amount of seasoning. The rice and sauces have also been great. Reasonably priced for what you get. I definitely plan to return more in the future!

South American restaurant
Restaurant
Nestled in the heart of Pleasanton, Oyo is a vibrant dining destination that brings together the rich flavors of Caribbean and South American cuisine. The restaurant's lively atmosphere is enhanced by its colorful decor, making it an inviting spot even on overcast days. Drawing inspiration from owner Maurice Dressels' Guyanese roots, Oyo offers a diverse menu featuring dishes like chickpea stew, silky pumpkin soup, and calypso ceviche.
I visited Oyo on a Friday evening, and I knew I was in for a treat upon arriving because of the crowd inside. Despite being really busy, I was greeted and seated quickly. The menu had so many choices that it was hard to decide, so I asked questions, which were happily answered by the host. The food was tasty and cooked to curry and spice perfection. I will be back to sample more items. The highlight of my meal was the salmon, which had an excellent cream dressing with mangoes. I missed great Caribbean meals in this area and am so pleased to have found a place that gets it right.
Casburn S — Google review
We visited Oyo on Father’s Day and had a mixed experience. The service was friendly and attentive, which we really appreciated, especially on a busy holiday. However, the food didn’t quite meet our expectations. While we could tell the flavors had great potential, a couple of the dishes were unfortunately overcooked and slightly burnt with bitter taste — most notably the half chicken and the octopus salad. This took away from what could have been a very enjoyable meal. It’s possible the kitchen was short-handed due to the holiday rush, which might explain the inconsistency. We’d be open to trying Oyo again on a less hectic day, as the menu seems promising and the atmosphere was nice. Hopefully next time the execution matches the quality of service.
Raden L — Google review
The Vegan lentil bowl had fresh ingredients, but could use more seasonings. The Cobb prawn salad had tasty dressing, but the prawns were overcooked and needed more seasoning. The steak frite was cooked well. The pot roast was a star - highly recommended. The mushroom risotto (vegan version) was delicious. Roasted potatoes were well seasoned. Beet salad was a big hit. Fries were a crowd pleaser. Burrata appetizer could’ve used more seasoning. Brussel sprouts were a big hit.
Rose T — Google review
From start to finish, everything was absolutely delicious. We started with the calamari, which was perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, fresh and not greasy at all. For our mains, we had the jerk chicken and the paella, and both dishes were incredible. The jerk chicken had just the right amount of flavor while the paella was rich, and perfectly seasoned. You can tell every ingredient is high quality and made with care. Highly recommend.
Ann M — Google review
Came here for my birthday with a set dinner. Was amazing and very delicious! The drinks were perfect too! The first time I had it was a Togo order and that was really good too. I will have to come back for lunch and try the other dishes too! Service was very attentive too. Thanks for letting me make some art too hahaha

I am not new to Oyo. But my last visit left me so disappointed. Had a reservation so getting a seat was not an issue at all. Plus it was not the peak time so it wasn’t that busy as well. Ordered, the jerk chicken patty. It was exactly like an empanada. It tasted good. I enjoyed it. Dhalpuri Roti with goat curry dipping sauce. The roti/bread was soft. But the goat curry dipping sauce was too salty. Although the server while taking the order didn’t even ask us if we wanted the goat sauce or the veg option. For the main course, tried the jerk pork shoulder, it was very very dry and tasteless. I couldn’t even eat half of it. It was overdone. The rice was so kinda overcooked. Did not enjoy at all. Guyanese cook-up rice - it was also a so so dish. More rice and coleslaw than the actual meat. Drinks were okay nothing special. The server did not even top up the water. We kept looking for servers but most of them did not make an eye contact and avoided doing their part. The only time the server was prompt when it was time for the check. The live music was too loud, making it difficult to have any conversation. Oyo used to be good but my recent experience didn’t make me happy or satisfied.
L M — Google review
My husband and I ate here for the first time and we were both pleasantly surprised by the service. We are from the Midwest and have lived in California for 5 years now. We have never experienced good service in California as we did tonight at Oyo. The food was so flavorful, and it all came out really fast, but still fresh and hot. Our server was busy, but we never felt like we were really waiting too long. The drinks were great. I’m a vegetarian and I was able to order so many options that weren’t bland or boring vegetarian options. They were all amazing. I really liked the jerk Tofu and Street food doubles. I did order the vegan paella And it was good, but maybe not the best ever. I kind of felt like it didn’t have much saffron, but I still thought overall it was a wonderful experience.

They have multiple amazing vegan and veg options that are full of flavor and filling. Would recommend the chana and jerk tofu. Also an amazing family opened operation. Wished we lived closer to eat here more!

Simply Fondue offers a contemporary dining experience with a focus on traditional fondue meals, including vegetarian options, as well as a selection of cocktails and wine. The restaurant prides itself on providing a relaxed and casual atmosphere while using only the finest ingredients to create their sauces, batters, and dressings from scratch daily. Customers have praised the attentive service provided by the staff, particularly highlighting the knowledge and helpfulness of their waiter.
Had an amazing experience at this restaurant last weekend with my friend. Set it off at the bar, cocktails with the super friendly bartender. We then started off with the fondue and entrée all you can eat. I must say for the price. It is definitely worth it. The waiter recommended us a way to pair the cheeses and it was absolutely fabulous and I couldn’t believe that they had gluten-free bread for me as well. That really made my day! And I loved the portion sizes as well. we ended the night with a couple more cocktails and the vegan dark chocolate and everything but the kitchen sink. Really appreciate the staff catering to our needs, and our waiter, keeping us smiling the whole time! Can’t wait to go back!

Happy to give a great review! Reservations were fast and easy. Location is perfect and parking near by was free. Downtown Livermore is always lovely, but especially on a Saturday night. The seating feels private and is comfortable. The staff was organized, friendly and great at providing a high quality experience. This was our first time and Julia was more than happy to explain everything to us. Food came out quickly and the drinks were well made! Lots of options keep the menu really satisfying for everyone. I know we'll be back and I am glad it went so well! A fun food experience and a really yummy meal! I highly recommend for your next outing or celebration!

Highly recommend! The service is quick and friendly, the food is delicious with plenty of variety in flavors, and the atmosphere is great for families or friends alike! Visited on a monday evening. We arrived at 8:35 and there was no wait! Unfortunately, they stopped serving entrees at 8:45 and would only allow us to order appetizers if we sat on the bar side of the restaurant. Which was a nicer atmosphere, so it worked out! The chicken sliders are a must, as are the waffle fries. Loved the Italian Fontina and the traditional Swiss chalet. The fudge brownie chocolate was amazing, and one portion was enough for three of us. All the portions are very generous! Definitely a must stop in the livermore downtown!

Top-notch service and delicious food more tapas style food in the bar area versus the dining room area. Dining room area is great for a date night with wonderful conversations. Special moments there also spent with my children as they love the chocolate milk in a martini glass drizzled with chocolate! Special treat. Definitely need a picture of that next time we go. Enjoy!

came here 2 times and so far so great! the waitress we had one time was super nice! her name was layla i’m pretty sure but anyways she was super nice. and i love how you just pay like $16 for the cheese or chocolate fondue and you get unlimited toppings (like the side it comes w, the bread and stuff)

There's nothing simple about Simply Fondue. This place is amazing. My wife and I went there for a birthday dinner. The restaurant was packed, however the atmosphere was fun and not overwhelming. Our waiter "Austin" was hands down one of the best waiters we've ever had. He took his time to explain the menu and all the options we had available to us. Even though the restaurant was full and his section was busy he was still able to be very intensive and that says a lot about his character and this restaurant. The food was amazing. The choices of meats are plentiful. The drinks were amazing. Plenty of free parking near the restaurant. Can't wait till I go back...

Awesome experience They were really busy for a Wednesday evening, but everyone was amazing. We just went into the bar for appetizers but really wanted to sit at a table instead of the bar. My husband had gone to the hostess to ask if it was OK for us to sit at one of the tables at the same time I was asking the bartender Melissa who was also the manager tonight. They were both so accommodating. The hostess Leila was also bussing tables. She came over right away and cleaned the table which was dirty, brought us silverware and menus. The reason this was a big deal is because usually the tables are reserved for those ordering fondue as they have the cook top and fondue pots set up. Despite the fact that they had staffed down because Wednesday is usually slow, everyone was pleasant, attentive, and gave great customer service. We have always enjoyed Simply Fondue, but in these days of higher prices for everything and often not such great service, it was a breath of fresh air to have such a great experience and it's nice to know there are still people around that take their job seriously and want to provide great customer service. We will not only be back but will pass on to everyone we know how wonderful our experience was.

I had a great experience at Simply Fondue in Livermore tonight with my partner for date night! The atmosphere is cozy and perfect for a date night or special occasion—it feels like a fun little escape. The menu has a lot of variety, and the fondue itself was delicious, especially the cheese and dessert courses. It’s interactive and makes dining feel more like an experience than just a meal. Service was friendly and attentive, and the pacing between courses was just right. My only critique is that it can feel a little dark if you’re tucked in the back of the room, but overall it’s worth it for the unique experience and quality food. I’d definitely come back for another evening out!

Modern Indian restaurant
Taj Mahal Flavors of India is a hidden gem in Livermore, offering a delightful Indian dining experience. The restaurant boasts a great ambiance with beautiful interiors and attentive staff. While it may be on the pricier side, the delicious food makes it worth it. The menu features a wide variety of mouthwatering starters and main courses made with high-quality ingredients. Additionally, there are plenty of wine pairings available to elevate the dining experience.
The best restaurant in Livermore. It is a great spot for both vegetarian and non-vegetarian Indian food. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it a pleasant place to enjoy a meal. For vegetarians, the menu offers tasty options like the flavorful TAJ Paneer Makhanwala and the THE BEST daal makhni. Both dishes are packed with delicious spices. Non-vegetarians will love Non Veg Platter, Gosht Malabar TAJ Butter Chicken, which is creamy and full of flavor, with the perfect amount of spice. The service is excellent, with friendly staff specially Ajit the restaurant manager who was amazing and made sure we were happy with our food. His recommendations were top notch. The staff make sure you feel welcome and enjoy your meal. Overall, Taj Mahal is a fantastic choice for anyone looking to enjoy authentic Indian food in Livermore.

We had a great time celebrating our anniversary dinner here. Our host, Abhi, was very courteous and made our evening extremely special with his utmost hospitality. The food was really delicious, and the ambiance was amazing. This is one of our favorite restaurants to celebrate any special occasion and it never disappoints. I highly recommend it.
Chandini P — Google review
We ordered the Delhi Wala Papri Chaat and Amritsari Fish as appetizers, but unfortunately, both lacked flavor and were underwhelming. On the other hand, our drinks were perfectly made. The ambiance and cutlery were superb, but the service left much to be desired. After receiving our appetizers, no one checked in on us for quite some time, nor did anyone come to take our main course order. Additionally, tables were without napkins, and no knifes were provided initially as part of fine dining. Additionally, we also ordered Chicken Dum Biryani which was not biryani at all. The music was so low that all we could hear during our lunch was the sound of staff moving tables and chairs. However, the Bhuna Goat and Afghani Paneer were both good. The dessert, a Faluda Kulfi, was delicious and reminded us of the one we enjoyed at Yellow Chilli in Danville, CA. Considering the overall experience, the prices should better reflect both the service and flavor quality.

Wow what an amazing dinner! Family and I wanted some Indian food after shopping at the outlet and stumbled across this beautiful restaurant. Vibe was an upscale restaurant/lounge with modern artwork, wall projector of travel spots, and it was extra lively with music from a birthday party that evening. In addition to the lovely service from the attentive and friendly servers, there were fancy little robots delivering the food. Food - Tibetan chicken momos - corn chaat baskets - fried shrimp - London chicken tikka masala - chicken curry - paneer (red sauce) - veggie biryani - garlic butter naan - mango lassi (shoutout to the owner Vikas for sharing more of this delicious drink with my baby- our whole table loved it!) Everything was freshly made, flavorful, delicious with a medium spice kick. The raita was cool and refreshing. The portions are a little smaller with higher prices but was expected. We were so full by the end of the meal with some leftovers. Next time I want to try the Butter Chicken. Highly recommend dropping by for a unique Indian fine dining experience!

The food was absolutely delicious. Our server “Abhi”, did an amazing job at serving us. He was very kind and even offered my sister a free chocolate lava cake for her birthday. Once again, amazing food, good portions and a very good server. Thank you for the amazing experience!

We recently celebrated our daughter's first birthday, and I wanted to express how pleased we were with the arrangements. The setup for our family was lovely, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the delicious food. We especially appreciated how the management accommodated all our last-minute requests. Overall, it was a very delightful experience.

Everything was amazing at this place! I rarely give such high ratings with a detailed review, but the food truly hit the bull's eye. From the amazing food to the comfortable ambience and exceptional service, everything was spot on. A special shoutout to Abhi, who was super polite, friendly, and connected with us instantly. This was our second visit after a few months—the first experience was great too. (I’ve attached pictures from both visits!) This time, we were hosting friends visiting from Dallas. We asked Abhi for recommendations based on our preference for authentic Indian flavors with rich masala and depth. He thoughtfully suggested a few dishes tailored to our taste. We were initially unsure about trying the soya chaap and kathal (jackfruit) ki sabzi, so we also ordered some safer options like paneer. But trust me—the highlight of the dinner was what we least expected! It was my first time trying soya chaap, and it blew me away. The marination was absolutely perfect—full of flavor and incredibly satisfying. The Red Hot Chilli Paneer (also recommended by Abhi) was another standout: crispy on the outside, super soft on the inside, and packed with flavor. For entrees, we had the Soya Chaap Nihari, Kathal Nihari Sabzi, and Dal Bukhara—again, all recommended by Abhi. And this is when we knew… it couldn’t get any better than this. Delicious food, warm ambience, and top-tier service—all in one place. Easily a 10/10 experience across the board! I’d recommend this gem to all my friends and to anyone visiting or living in the Bay Area. Thank me later!! 😉

Located in the serene suburban area of Livermore, the Shiva-Vishnu Temple is a traditional Hindu temple and cultural center that was established in 1977. This impressive temple features intricate carvings and a typical Southern Indian architectural style, complete with a Gopura - an ornate pyramidal tower at the main entrance. As the largest Hindu temple in the Bay Area, it houses representations of various Hindu deities.
I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Shiva-Vishnu Temple in Livermore on a Monday morning, and I was truly impressed by the experience. From the moment I stepped onto the grounds, I could feel a sense of peace and tranquility wash over me. The temple itself is a beautiful structure, with intricate details and vibrant colors that showcase the rich cultural heritage it represents. The architecture is stunning, and the various shrines dedicated to different deities are meticulously maintained. It's clear that a lot of care and devotion goes into preserving this sacred space. What struck me most about my visit was the positive energy that permeated the entire temple. The atmosphere was serene and welcoming, and I felt a sense of calm and reflection as I walked around. Whether you're a devout Hindu or simply someone seeking a moment of peace, this temple offers a sanctuary from the hustle and bustle of daily life. I was also impressed by the cleanliness and organization of the temple. Everything was well-maintained, and it was easy to navigate the different areas. It's evident that the temple community takes pride in their place of worship. Overall, my visit to the Shiva-Vishnu Temple was a truly enriching experience. It's a beautiful and peaceful place that I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a moment of serenity or an opportunity to connect with their spiritual side. Whether you're familiar with Hindu traditions or not, you'll be sure to appreciate the beauty and positive energy of this remarkable temple.

We reached at 1pm, it was a bit difficult to find parking. Shiv and Vishnu archana was happening, spiritual ambience. Lots of places to sit inside - a couple of chairs too. Prasadam was self-serve, most people were taking portions equivalent to lunch - very tasty. If you wish to donate, there was a barcode for e-hundi (card pay or Google/apple pay) apart from donating cash. We left around 2:30 pm, the peak time was over by then.

Great hiking spot, beautiful park! There are beautiful views of Tri-Valley and Livermore Valley once you hike up a little bit, if you keep going, you can also see Sunol Peak, Mission Peak, and Mt. Allison in the distance. Please note that this place only has 1 bathroom (1 pit toilet), the bathroom here have no running water, and there is only a spigot for untreated water nearby. Make sure to bring hand washing water and drinking water with you. The park will be very crowded on the weekends, but there are places to park along the road.

Wonderful place to hike. There are couple of different trails that you can hike depending on the difficulty level. Hiking early morning is the best time, less traffic and very peaceful.

There are great biking and hiking trails. There is room for improvement after storms and cows on muddy paths, but lots has been done to ensure safety and enjoyment. Views are spectacular in the evening. Parking is very convenient. Just drive carefully upon leaving and arriving because it's a one lane road for a little with some blind turns.

Brushy peak is beautiful in later April. The trail had some elevation, but not too bad. Beware of potential sunburn if going in the middle of the day, there’s barely any shade.

This is a beautiful place to hike. If you start the loop at the entrance located in the parking lot, expect a steady incline and the surroundings look a little barren. But be patient and continue to the clusters of green towards the top and you will be glad you did. It transforms into a gorgeous landscape full of rocks, bushes, trees, sweet scents, and is alive with wildlife. There are tranquil spots to rest under the trees and the views are nice as well. We took a beautiful path down that was a little rocky leading past one of the life giving vernal pools. After hiking the trail I looked up the history of it and I wasn’t surprised to learn that it was considered a sacred place for the natives of the area. This place is a gem.

While some customers may find it unusual to do grocery shopping at Target, the store offers a good selection of grocery staples, beverages, and snacks. However, there have been mixed reviews about the quality of produce. Customers have praised the affordability of items at Target compared to other stores.
Great Target location. Spacious. Clean store. Satisfactory service/staff. Well maintained and stocked. Average (usual) Target quality. Overall, it's a great Target location.
Levent — Google review
Went right before close to look for a specific product, and Matt (I think) was kind enough to take the time to go to the back and look for it. Even though he couldn’t find the specific one I was looking for, I really appreciated that he cared enough to do that for me minutes before close. Everyone was kind as well. Store looked very good as well, one of the best Targets I’ve ever been to. They’re doing a great job over there!
Aaron H — Google review
If you see a sale price tag for the item you want to buy, check it carefully for the expiration date. The Livermore Target doesn't always remove them in a timely fashion, and you think you are buying at the sale price, if you don't notice the expiration date. You might get an unpleasant surprise at the cash register. Happened to me yesterday. I returned today, and the same out-of-date sale price tags were still hanging on the shelf. Get with it, Target!
Cyndy S — Google review
The employees who work there are very nice. Unfortunately, I am so used to items ringing up as a different price than was on the shelf tag that I’ve gotten into the habit of taking photos to bring to the checkout aisle. Target has a hole really needs to do better with this.
Tain B — Google review
So, Target (more so at this location) has hit a peak with the issue of prices on the shelf not matching what is rung up. It's to the point where, if I see any item that may be a sale, or even says 'new low price' I will take a photo of the item and price because it's likely to ring up higher than advertised. Sometimes it's small, like a $6.99 item ringing up at $7.29. Sometimes it's "New low price! $1.99" coming in at $4.29. Or a "Buy one, get one 1/2 off" not registering regardless of label or entry of my Target club information. It's constant, and has happened the last three visits. It's almost guaranteed *something* in my order will come in higher than the shelf. It's exhausting, and the only reason I come here is because it's close and 'convenient' for an item or two. But I'm largely done with Target and their 'accidental' price issues.
Tain B — Google review
Be careful when you pickup online order from this target, they may give you opened and used items. Picked up a cloroxast week and founf the box was opened and used. Always check yiur items.

The friendly and efficient staff greeted us warmly, guiding us to our seats with remarkable ease. Every interaction was smooth, contributing to a truly welcoming atmosphere. But of course, the highlight of the night was the performance itself. We were there to see Josh Blue, and he was absolutely hilarious, delivering 90 minutes of non-stop laughter that had the entire audience roaring. And the best part? I am so saddened and appalled by the Bankhead theater workers. I was there yesterday with a friend of mine who is in her 90s and we were there doing the process of getting our tickets to the concert. It was over 100° while we were standing in line and I went up to the counter asking if there was a place that I could place my friend or set her down so that she didn’t have to stand in that Hot weather and since the tickets were under her name, she had to be there. So I went up to the counter and asked, and the lady at the counter told me NO! I asked if she could talk to the manager. I repeated this lady is 92 years old and she’s handicapped. I don’t mind waiting in the line and I told him that, but after they talk to the manager, the manager even said no, and they told us to just come back later. My friend was so upset and we’re still coming to the concert and I’m just very saddened by the treatment.

The staff/service were good and the seating options both inside and outside were nice. The interior has a cool vibe and most outdoor seating has shade. The food was just okay. The fish was overcooked and the veganentrees had fresh ingredients, they just lacked a much needed dressing/sauce.

Great place to have some beers and American food. It’s in livermore downtown with plenty of public parking available. It’s huge place and lots of seating area. They have great beers on tap. Some of the seasonal one were amazing. The food was as usual but I loved the chicken nachos as chicken was charcoal grilled. They have nice desserts though.

Th The food was satisfactory, with a particularly impressive atmosphere and exceptional service. We ordered nachos, which were quite salty due to the sauce, and the jalapeños were not pickled. However, the garlic fries were enjoyable. In terms of beverages, the restaurant boasts an excellent selection of beers, although the cocktail options are limited. I tried their frozen margarita, which was quite good. Overall, it is a pleasant venue to socialize with friends, primarily for its ambiance, rather than the food or drinks.

The service here was great they were super friendly and attentive. The food was pretty good but I wouldn’t recommend the biscuits and gravy. Unfortunately the biscuits were super hard and the gravy didn’t taste like much. The French toast and the big sandwich were pretty good so I’d recommend that instead. Very, very busy when we visited on a weekend for lunch at 1 pm. The wait was going to be for more than an hour, but we were sat down immediately at the bar. The food is extremely good, we ordered a breakfast burrito with hash browns, huevo rancheros, and a Cali omelet with bacon. There seems to be more customers than what the employees can handle, but the service was wonderful nonetheless.

Met at Monica's when visiting family. Hot day on patio but food was extraordinary. Lemon ricotta pancakes were better than other restaurants with a sweet lemon glaze. Avocado toast on small side but 2 pieces provided, eggs are served on the side. Gluten free son enjoyed basic eggs, bacon combo and gf bun available. Can't wait to return for another iced honey lavender oatmilk latte.

They were overwhelmed for Saturday brunch. Coffee and fries came out cold. Breakfast burger was huge and nearly impossible to hold and eat, soggy buns too. Flavor was good, but had to be eventually eat the burger with a fork. Took forever to get the check.

This place was super amazing. Great experience from start to finish. The host was ready and friendly. The staff did s great job working together bring drinks, food, taking our order, and even cleaning off the table. The waitress was professional and friendly and had perfect recommendations and worked well with us. She even new when to bring the check at the most perfect time not rushing us but letting us chill which was nice since it was a family gathering where we hadn't seen each other in forever. Food *chefs kiss* everything done perfectly. Can't wait to go back and try more of the menu!

The Wente Vineyards Tasting Lounge is a bistro located in a classic space with a patio, offering Californian-Mediterranean cuisine. Situated in North-central California's Livermore Valley, it is one of the oldest wineries in the region, owned and operated by the 5th generation of the original family. Visitors can enjoy behind-the-scenes winery tours to witness the transformation of grapes into wine.
Beautiful winery with tasty wine. The staff working with us was very courteous and helped explain their wines. They have great seating outside with large umbrellas to give you cover. I wish they served some small bites during the wine tasting.

The $50 tasting menu is definitely worth trying. The Chardonnay is creamy, and there's a wide selection of wines. The cheese and charcuterie are amazing, serving as the perfect complement to the wines. The hospitality staff provided an exceptional experience.

First ever experience wine tasting in California. We came from our road trip from Wisconsin and have become a brand loyalist from this experience alone. Thank you Shelia. The experience was amazing and we called ahead just to see if we could stop bybecause the tastings were booked online. They were able to get us in for an amazing tasting experience that ended in us joining the wine club. I felt like I was treated with respect and joy. I didn't feel out of place or unwanted for my inexperience. It felt like a midwest welcome. We want to come back yearly now. Sheila was lovely and informative. I enjoyed her candor and experience. This whole place was amazing and I cannot stop gushing over it. Everyone was so friendly. Thank you for such a memorable moment.

The vineyard's stunning landscapes provided the perfect canvas for our couples photos and videos creating a backdrop that effortlessly blended natural beauty with timeless elegance. We LOVE shooting here! It's not our first time and can't wait to be back. If you're considering having your wedding here, do not hesitate- book it! We love shooting here and so does our team!

A bit surprising to see so many low reviews. Been here twice, last time was years ago, but both times have been a great experience. Made a reservation online, was seated promptly. Service was excellent. Friendly and knowledgeable. We did tastings of both their family $40 and nth degree $50. 5 wines on each, mix of white and reds. We were able to try some additional wines they had open already as well. Wines were pretty good overall. Consistent with the last time I came. Only negative is the high prices but it's expected given they are one of the biggest name wineries in LV. Beautiful property. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Definitely worth visiting

I had high hopes for the experience here. Unfortunately, I would only rate it as a bit above average. We dined outside at the clubhouse grill and then ventured over to the tasting room. The grounds and lounges are lovely - not a bad view anywhere on the property. We had the pulled pork tacos which were delicious! I didn’t rate it too high due to the tasting room experience. Our server was very nice, and the wines were pretty good. However, the pours stuck strictly by the book and the tasting fee was not waved even though we purchased a few bottles.

Very disappointing visit August 30 For several years as a top tier wine club member I have experienced consistently excellent service. Today the staff was swamped with holiday weekend traffic. We were seated by the fire pit and then forgotten. We were trying to pickup a case of of the August club allotment that had been placed on hi heat hold. Nobody seem to be able to find the order. The order was eventually recreated by hand. It still is a great venue. the.wine is still superior but the operation layer an egg when stress tested .

Hugely disappointing! My family and I went to Wente for wine tasting a week ago with plans to join and become members. My husband and I remember going a decade ago and had fond memories and having recently moved to the area, we figured it would be a place we would regularly visit. The wines themselves are pretty run of middle wines - nothing was special or memorable. The venue is pretentious but has so much it could offer. The service was the worst part. Our server was Nancy who was not just downright rude but would try to push options and items on us that we did not ask for and upcharge everything. The service was not just very slow, but there was barely any communication from her regarding the wines. She would disappear for 20 minutes at a time. The pours were less than an ounce where we could not even get two sips to actually enjoy the wine. This was not the case at other tables as I saw other servers/clients were treated much better. Nancy kept trying to give us and charge us for a charcuterie board despite us saying multiple times we did not want it or ask for it. She then charged extra for everyone, including my husband who shared his tasting as he was driving. The kicker - she wanted to us to blindly give her our credit card without even showing us the charges. I had to ask for the breakdown and she scoffed at the request and only let us see it since I refused to blindly hand over my credit card. Service was horrible and for this reason not only did I not join the membership but will not be coming back. Although they state they are family friendly, they are not! They charge $5 extra for each 'non-taster' and kid and don't advertise this at all.

Italian restaurant
Bruno's Italian Cuisine is a relaxed restaurant that offers outdoor dining and has an exposed brick interior. They have an extensive menu of pastas and pizzas, which are their main focus. The staff at Bruno's is accommodating and can handle last-minute reservations for large groups. Two members of the group had to leave early, so they requested rush orders to go, which the restaurant was able to provide.
Our experience was one of the best I have had in I restaurant in a long time. My mom and I are both very high maintenance diners and Kade was extremely pleasant and helpful throughout. The food was terrific and priced very reasonably. The only drawback was parking. Due to the farmers market happening Sunday Morning our 1 pm reservation was impacted by a lack of parking and a long walk. I was however able to drop my elderly mother off in front and then park further away. Definitely would return, but will probably schedule later in the day, or another day.

This place has great Italian food and pasta, and I love the vibe it’s refreshing and makes for a great time. Whenever I visit California, I love going to Livermore. The vibe there is so cool and pleasant, and the people are always smiling. On weekends, people bring out vintage cars, which I absolutely love. I tried pasta there, and the food was great, but more than the food, I loved the ambiance outside. That entire lane is amazing I just love enjoying the view while having my food.

Tried to order the sausage sandwich from the dinner menu and was told they quit serving that at 3pm... then take it off the dinner menu. Ordered the Veal and my friend ordered the fish of the day Salmon. We also ordered the garlic cheese bread and the calamari. It took forever and when it finally arrived, the Cheese bread was barely a meh and calamari was overcooked and chewy. Not a good start... Veal and Salmon came and although good, the veal was a small portion of two very small thin slices with green beans and potato. At $30 it was overpriced for what I got. The ladies Salmon was fresh and cooked nicely. Meal was fine but tried to order the apple torte when asked about desert and was told they were out. If everything one person ordered was a no, you can understand the frustration so three stars for total but service was slightly better at 4 stars.

Wonderful spot to enjoy great food and great service while dining outside under shade trees and awnings. Sonoma salad was top notch. Server brings delicious cheesy bread. Excellent coffee. Outstanding service. Can be a bit noisy from passing motorcycles and classic cars.

Overall the food was good. My pasta dish with the saphron sauce had great flavor and the sun dried tomatoes were very good. However, the chicken was tough and not very flavorful and the tiny shrimp were very basic and kind of boring. Service was very good. Wife and I weren't fans of the bread they provide. Seemed dry.
Tobesmash — Google review
Service was excellent. Waiters were very professional and friendly. Beers on tap were great. Pastas were good. Veg pizza was average. Thick and heavy. Bread was great. They make any pasta or pizza kids size.
Sunil S — Google review
The food here is terrible for much it costs. The bread they give you is bland. The calamari is seasoned but rubbery. The meatballs and spaghetti were ghastly. The meatballs had the texture of a bad sloppy joe. The fudge cake is extremely dry. I do not recommend this place.
Johnny C — Google review
The ambiance was amazing with to canal view, dimmed lights with candle lights. They have some wine and other drinks in the menu. Their homemade pesto was good. The bread was fine and soft, can be toasted to enhance the flavor with some butter I guess. The food for vegetarians was limited so the pasta I tried was just mediocre but adding some housemade pesto made it better. The lobster ravioli was just fine as well. The flavors could be better. We had a swap of waiters for a bit, but that was due to some music issue I guess. The other waiter kinda showed the bias by not apologizing about the inconvenience to us which was fine until he went ahead to others except us. Oh well. I would recommend for the ambiance but chef can improve the flavors a bit.

Sauced BBQ & Spirits is a laid-back restaurant with a charming rustic atmosphere and a well-stocked bar. The interior exudes Southern hospitality, featuring reclaimed wood and a cozy ambiance. Guests can savor authentic slow-cooked barbecue and homemade macaroni and cheese while enjoying friendly and efficient service. The outdoor seating area provides a pleasant dining experience, complete with heaters for comfort. The menu boasts an array of BBQ classics and Southern sides, catering to various preferences.
Great Food and Lively Atmosphere I had a great experience at Sauced BBQ in Livermore, CA. The food was of excellent quality—I tried the three-piece dry rub tenders with waffle fries, and they were fantastic! The chicken had a flavorful spicy dry rub that really stood out. The cornbread was also a highlight—moist and delicious. The atmosphere was lively, with plenty of TVs playing different sporting events, which added to the energy of the place. The bar is impressive, well-stocked, and a great spot to grab a drink. The only downside was that the service was a bit slow, but considering how busy it was, it wasn’t a big deal. Overall, Sauced BBQ offers great food, excellent value, and a fun environment. I’ll definitely be back!

I was passing through and this place caught my eye. I was able to find parking so I knew it was a sign of good food to come! The first thing I will say it the service was out of this world. I asked my server for a drink and while he was explaining the menu it was brought out to me. I couldn’t believe it. The coleslaw was a very light vinegar based and it was fresh and crunchy. The sweet potatoes tater tots were absolutely amazing. The brisket was super super juicy and tender. The smoke in it was not over powering either. Now in my opinion the start of the show was the burnt ends pork belly! Wooweee!! Those were absolutely marvelous. It was a nice touch to have several different types of bbq sauce. They also had a beer/shot combo that looked great too. I passed on alcohol this time!! All people were very pleasant to be around.

I ended up coming her with my family to try out their meat. I got a brisket with loaded potato and corn bread and a sweet iced tea I would rate the brisket a good 6/10 My reasons for that is because when it came out it wasn’t very hot it was more on the cold side then warm. I ended up trying it without bbq and it had no kind of flavor or any kind of seasoning. The slices were kind of thin . Only came with a couple of slices. The loaded potatoes same thing with the seasoning not much . It wasn’t hot either it was barely warm. The cheese on it tasted pretty cheap but over all it was ok 6/10 The corn bread was definitely my least favorite hard from the outside tasted like if it was warmed up from yesterday . But good from the inside 5.5/10 Now my favorite was just the drink ….. the sweet Iced tea ! Definitely a 10/10 Service was good 5/5 And the atmosphere was also alright 4/5

I love Sauced. It’s such a great staple of BBQ in the Bay Area. Honey is from Texas, and this is the closest place we've found to TX BBQ. We came on a Saturday afternoon before St. Patrick's Day, so a lot of people were bar crawling. The inside was packed. It was a nice day, so we sat on the patio. A few people had their dogs with them on the patio. On this trip, we went off script and didn’t order BBQ. We always get the brussel sprouts. They add pork belly to them, making them super savory with a mild touch of sweetness (chef’s kiss). I love their bumpkins, so I had to get those too. Since the last time we were here, they updated their menu. They brought back the sweet potato casserole, which Honey loves. They also added the jambalaya, which was good as a side dish but not great. It was a large portion, so I see how they could offer it as a main. Honey said it was on the spicier side, but I didn’t feel it. Honey had the fried chicken sandwich. She got all the toppings on the side and added some of their BBQ sauce to make it her own. She said the chicken was good, and the flavor combination she created made it even better. The Big Sexy. This is not for the weak. It was packed with flavors but so delicious. The mac & cheese with pepper jack gives you that gooey cheese sensation, the Nashville chicken was a perfect blend of spice and crunch, and the bacon added a little smoky taste. The slaw cut through some of the savory flavors with a hint of sweetness. OMG, it was good. As soon as it got to the table, I had the server give me a to-go box for half. If I had eaten the whole thing, I would have been in a food coma for the rest of the day. Overall, Sauced is a great restaurant with something for everyone. I always recommend Sauced to anyone who wants BBQ.

Good food ... A bit pricey. I feel they have the tables to close to each other and seem weird being right on the person next to you. But that said everything else was really good. I love the down town areas. Good vibes .

I really enjoyed the experience here for lunch. It has a beautiful scenery to eat outdoors and see golf, vineyards, water, etc. the service was good. They didn’t have the alcohol for the drink I wanted but I optioned for a glass of wine which was also tasty. I highly recommend.

They didn’t have fruit, didn’t have straws until the end… clearly they ran out and had to run across property to get them, took our drink order first and they came after our food had been on table and half eaten. My wedge salad had so much dressing it was like soup and I couldn’t eat it. The potato chips with the kids meals were awesome. The view was great and good for kids for sure.

Always enjoy taking our ebikes on a ride to have lunch here. The food was great, service, not so much. Couldn't figure out how to cut a burger in half. Told us sorry they forgot but didn't offer to fix it. Barely serviced the table... and had to go find someone to give us the bill.

A small grill, but has lots of outdoor seatings, overlooking the 18th hole and fantastic views of the vineyard and the golf course. This is a great place to get a quick bite before or after a round. Or, better yet, grab a glass of wine and enjoy the views at the patio. The food was pretty good, fresh ingredients. Service staff was very attaintive and friendly!

The server customer service needs huge improvement. I understand that menu is more of protein but other people needs veggies too. When I asked couple of alternatives-, straight no. Try saying can I check or let me see what I can do. Im sure training on customer service can be improved. Location wise, golf course looks wonderful. EV charging will be beneficial for sure.

The place is gorgeous. It’s great to sit out use and enjoy the view. Servers are nice but they are overworked and short staffed so expect to be forgotten. Food choices are very limited. If you are vegetarian or vegan as we had few in the party, there is only 1 choice. Lastly the menu they have on the website isn’t what’s available for the patrons. That’s the least they can do to fix. Website mentioned paneer skewers and the server feigned complete ignorance of the item.

This place is damn delicious! Best artichoke dip EVER... like legit artichoke, not a bowl of mayo with a few pieces in it. Don't forget to ask for bread and butter (free). It's really tasty and very fresh. I got pork loin seasonal special with mashed potatoes which was excellent. Wife got the chicken Cobb salad which was good (presentation was average but the food was very fresh and the chicken was done perfectly). Service was great too. Server has a fun personality, and her refill game was on point. Highly recommend going. You can save good $$$ if you go during happy hour.

Lovely open feel to the restaurant with plenty of light and a nice patio as well. Ordered the short ribs and they were fantastic. My Moscow mule was a little on the sour side, but the margarita was excellent. My friend got pan seared sole and it looked fantastic. The panna cotta dessert got decent reviews but it wasn't my friend's favorite. But my own meal was stellar.

Only the 2nd time we've eaten here. We sat outside, very nice waitress. I had the prime rib which was a very thick slice. I ordered medium rare, but it came out more medium. I wish they served asked potatoes, but the mashed potatoes were good. My wife had the cutlets with blue cheese, she said it was very good. My son had the New York with a slice of raspberry butter, he said it was good. His girlfriend had the chicken marsala which she said it also was good. Finished it off with chocolate sundae with mini M&M's and Oreo Cookie crumbs, 4 scoops of vanilla.

Dined at Zephyr for a corporate dinner & they organized our dining area pretty well. We were about 40 of us dining at the restaurant & they set up our tables in a private room and accommodated our last-minute adjustments to the table configurations. Our Server & Bartender were lovely & very welcoming. They had Veggies & Pesto Ranch dip station setup along with Fresh Bread & Warm Artichoke Dip. That Dip was outstanding! Because of the size of our group, we had a preset menu with a choice of soup or salad, a main course & dessert. I got the Butternut Squash soup, Primavera Pasta & Decadent Chocolate Cake. Soup was amazing - perfect for the chilly weather. Pasta was alright - huge portions. What surpised me was the dessert - absolutely phenomenal especially for a flourless cake. Overall a great experience!

For day 3, if you don’t mind the extra trek, today covers more off the beaten path places like Del Valle Regional Park. National Parks
Del Valle Regional Park is a sprawling natural reserve that provides a variety of recreational options such as hiking, camping, swimming, boating and fishing. The park boasts well-maintained trails and beaches surrounding a large lake with convenient boat launches. Additionally, the park features facilities for equestrian use and offers easy access to individuals with limited mobility.
Del Valle Regional Park is an absolute treasure tucked away in the rolling hills near Livermore — a perfect escape for nature lovers, hikers, and families alike! We’ve visited a few times now, and every trip feels like a mini vacation. The park is centered around the gorgeous Lake Del Valle, which offers stunning views and plenty of opportunities for kayaking, fishing, picnicking, or simply relaxing by the water. This time, we explored more of the park’s amazing trail network and were blown away by the scenic beauty and peacefulness. The trails vary from easy lakeside strolls to more challenging hikes that reward you with breathtaking vistas of the lake and surrounding valleys. The elevation changes are moderate on most trails, making it accessible yet satisfying for hikers of all levels. What we love most is how spacious and well-maintained the park is. There are ample shaded areas, quiet nooks to unwind, and even spots where you can see wildlife like deer and wild turkeys if you’re lucky. The calmness of the lake, framed by green hills, makes this place feel almost surreal. Del Valle is also great for families — the picnic areas are perfect for group outings, and the swimming beach during summer months is a huge hit. Whether you’re in for a full-day hike or just want to soak up nature, this park delivers every time. We’re already planning our next visit — there’s so much more to explore! Highly recommended for outdoor enthusiasts and anyone looking for a refreshing getaway close to the Bay Area. There’s a entry fee of $5 in weekdays and $10 for weekdays but it’s definitely worth it.

Del Valle Regional Park really lives up to its nickname—“Little Switzerland” of the Bay Area. The trail offers stunning views of rolling hills and the lake itself is absolutely beautiful. It’s peaceful, scenic, and a perfect spot for a relaxing hike. Along the trail, I spotted some lovely wildflowers that added a nice touch of color to the path. The only downside? The public toilets were honestly pretty horrible—definitely something the park could improve on. But if you’re prepared for that, the rest of the experience is totally worth it.

Poppy Ridge Golf Course is a top choice for golfers, offering well-maintained greens and serene surroundings. The course features three nine-hole courses with beautiful hole designs surrounded by grapevines. While the fairways are generally in good condition, some areas may have brown spots. The sand traps can be hard, but overall the course is of high quality. Golfers can enjoy personalized outdoor adventures with concierge services at The Purple Orchid Resort & Spa nearby.
Great course with an interesting layout and a couple of unique hole designs. Unfortunately, the power went out on property due to a tree hitting a power line or something, but the pro shop and other staff were very accommodating and did everything in their power to make sure my group had a great experience. I’ll be back for sure!

If to rank all the vineyard type of courses I've ever played, Poppy Ridge is top 3 (Wente is still the best, and Eagle Ridge might rank similarly with Poppy, but I only got to play at the composite 9 holes twice, see if the rank can be advanced once the 18, hole is fully constructed next year). This temporary 9 holes is a combination of their used-to-br three 9-hole courses, but mainly Merlot, the new Hole 3 to 8 are the old Merlot Hole 1 to 5, while they divided the old Hole 5 (par 5) into 2 par 4s, and you know what these 2 new short par 4 holes are my favorites, as you might be able to drive your balls onto the greens directly, though the wind is very strong here

Newly designed Poppy ridge is a true links style course, with a Scottish feel. They have delivered on creating a high quality course with rolling fairways, large greens with the ability to putt from afar, and pro level length. Bermuda grass wasn't bad at all and the greens were true and fast. What I didn't like was tee boxes on fairways, and in one case the tee box for the next hole right in sight for the person teeing off for the previous par 3 green. Overall, well done NCGA!!

A Challenging and Enjoyable Golf Course This is a well-maintained, pro-level course that's a true challenge, especially for an average golfer. The fairways are immaculate, providing a good roll after your drive. The greens are fast and tricky to read, making putting a real test. The bunkers are sandy, and the rough isn't too punishing unless you hit a shot way off course. I'm an average player, typically shooting between 95 and 105, and I thoroughly enjoyed my round. The cost is $160 per person, but that drops to $125 with an NCGA membership. A golf cart is available for an additional $20. For a Friday, the food at the clubhouse was decent, and the waitress was great. The rest of the staff, including the marshal and the release manager, were also friendly and helpful. However, the young (20's) employee in the pro shop was antisocial and lacked good customer service. For a course that costs $160 a round, I expect better for that, I can only give a 4 star.

Beautiful view of this amazing golf course! They have great/ delicious buffalo chicken wings! 🍺😋🍻 We are definitely going back to this gorgeous place.
Lupe' L — Google review
Let me start by saying the course itself was immaculate but the experience was trash overbooked 2-3 groups on every hole not slow play just over booked no cart service on a Friday one water jug on the entire course and one set of Porta potties on the fourth hole that’s it . The Marshall just drove around Doing nothing to be honest there is no one slow playing. There’s just too many people there at once After the 5 1/2 hour round got to the clubhouse at 5:25 and it was closed bar and restaurant no professionalism at all the place was run by a bunch of 20 something-year-olds $125.00 a person I expected a professional put together finished course save your money and time play someplace else

Had great fun with the guys, all 8 of us. Fairways were in pretty good condition and the greens were fair, running around a 9 ro 10. Practiced today for a tournament and the course is in good shape. Greens were slower than what I remembered today. Maybe due to all the rains. Poppy's are everywhere now, beautiful to see. The area is sooooo green now.

Attended my granddaughters wedding. Staff is professional and friendly. Parking is adequate, and close to the entrance. The course is isolated from traffic and was prefect for the wedding. Entertainment was amazing.

Comic book store
Toy store
Nestled in the heart of Livermore, Fantasy Books and Games is a treasure trove for enthusiasts of all things fantasy and sci-fi. With nearly four decades of history, this charming comic book store boasts an impressive selection of comic books, collectible card games, sports figurines, and various collector items. Whether you're on the hunt for rare finds or looking to sell your old comics and games, this shop is a must-visit destination that promises delightful surprises with every visit.
This place has always had great variety. Bob's the best, and I had a good friend worked here through the late 90's. I doubt your going to find too many 1st Edition Charizards there today. But I bet if you dig, you may find a pristine copy of the "Days of Future Past" or a "Cartoon History of the Universe."

I enjoy popping in from time to time and have had nothing but pleasant experiences. The store is very nostalgic and fun to browse through. So much variety in every genre. I love all the little collectibles at the front, there’s something new every time I stop by!

DO NOT COME HERE TO BUY POKEMON CARDS. They are selling most products like ETBs for double retail price. This shop is no better than scalpers online. It's sad to see a local business trying to maximize profits off kids who just want to collect cards. Even selling at retail price stores can make plenty of profit so there is no reason other than greed to be selling at "market price." Take your business and kids elsewhere.
Steven — Google review
This awesome shop is a treasure trove of everything! Not just tons of comics, they've got action figures, trading cards, graphic novels, board games, t-shirts, mystery bag/box figures, and of course tons of Funko pop figurines. They get new stuff in all the time, so there's always new things to explore. SO MUCH COOL STUFF! The owner is very nice and it's been awesome to support a small but long-standing business. Definitely check it out!!

Pretty rough recently. Normally the go to spot but dealing with Bob is now out of hand. Was in today browsing and looking at open boxes on the floor. Bob starts yelling at us to not touch that. We say it’s open and he says in the rudest way possible that he doesn’t care. I don’t care if you’re 75 years old. I don’t go to any other store and can’t buy something out on shelves, so if it’s not for sale move it off the floor. If you can’t do a job don’t do it anymore, sorry. I’ve helped pick up boxes, put items back in order to help and even picked up the bike rack outside when he asked because it’s the right thing to do but now we will not going back and posting a review feels now like the right thing to do. Unfortunately when you’re too old to work you turn into a total jerk to the people paying your bills. Hire someone new or lighten up because it’s not our fault your store is a mess or too cheap to hire someone to clean up the shop, you’re charging market for Pokemon cards so it can’t be that. He usually has great finds but dealing with Bob now is out of hand, being old doesn’t give you an excuse to be rude, crotchety, and just a bad person to people who come in happy and want to leave happier and now dealing with Bob you leave sad.

Love this comic book shop! Ever since moving to Livermore this became my go-to comic shop. Not necessarily a whole lot of options, but regardless, its a great place. It's definitely overwhelming the first time you walk in, with stuff all over and tight rows to walk down, but there's an extremely wide assortment of items to pick from, so it's all worth it! There's anything from actions figures to statues to comics to graphic novels, posters, Pops, key chains, kids books, etc. Pricing is reasonable. I've honestly seen an array of items priced cheaper, on point, or more expensive than their online counterparts. When it comes to the more expensive items, sometimes its just worth that in hand purchase experience. The owner is usually always holding down the fort and is easy to talk with. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comic book store around Livermore!

I met Stan Lee @ Fantasy books and games, I believe it was 1991 or 1992. I was 12 years old. One of the most fondest childhood memories and experiences of my life. I am so happy to see they are still open!

Demitri's Taverna is a delightful contemporary Greek restaurant that perfectly blends classic Mediterranean cuisine with a relaxed atmosphere. With inviting patio seating, it’s an ideal spot for enjoying delicious dishes and refreshing cocktails. Diners rave about the attentive service, where the friendly staff goes above and beyond to ensure a memorable experience. Many patrons have been returning for years, drawn by the consistently high standards set by the owners.
We stopped here while visiting our friend in Livermore about a year ago going to the farmers market. All we got was their sliced baguette with this creamy garlic/potato spread and I knew I was coming back. We came with a few more friends yesterday for my birthday and was completely blown away. I ordered the special of the day which was Pastitsio. I was told by the host it was like a Greek lasagna. I love lasagna, but WOW! This was so good that I really took my time and savored it. I mean Wow! The atmosphere was friendly and welcoming. Such a fun place to eat with friends. We even had a shot with Demitri😆👍🏼 We’re gonna try to come here every time we come to Livermore😎

A hidden gem behind unfortunate city construction (for now) deserving far greater acclaim. We ordered the Bifteki Smirnako and Moussaka, each executed with remarkable precision and depth. The Bifteki was tender and richly seasoned, while the Moussaka offered balanced layers of creamy béchamel and savory meat, transporting us straight to Athens. Service was helpful & attentive, embodying the warmth of true Greek hospitality. Mexican Mules were crafted perfectly, refreshing and well-proportioned. It’s a shame this place isn’t bustling on a Saturday – their kitchen and team deserve a full house. A memorable dining experience I would return for without hesitation.

Came here during the week for dinner and was able to get seated right away. Service was fantastic and the food was very tasty and reasonable. The gyro was so flavorful with the garlic fries. Great atmosphere in a great location, recommend 100%!

Very good Mediterranean food. Service was excellent they will be patient with you if its your first time or are indecisive on what to order. We have been there a few times now and my family definitely recommends. Thanks and we'll see you soon. 7/7 Great visit, love the Pastitsio. They have great dishes and good drinks. The music outside tops off the chill atmosphere on the patio.

Ordered take out . Vegetarian options only . Lady who took order probably was not really listening…had loads of pita bread - no Hummus! Had exactly two olives in the salad ! The soup was good.

Really good food. Came with a group and all raved about their meals. I had the gyro plate and was quite happy with it. Also, great beers on tap. The Baklava was delish!

As a Greek, this is one of the most original tasting Greek food places that I've tried in the States. I ordered Dolmathes, Flaming Saganaki and the gyro platter and for the dessert Kantaifi Sundae. Everything was tasty and looking fresh, the dessert was a little hard to cut and chew. Overall it is a great place to try and take your friends and family. 😊

I visited Garre Cafe for the first time and had an incredible dining experience. The ambiance of the restaurant was lovely and calm, with attentive staff members. Every dish, from starters to desserts, was impeccable, benefitting greatly from the use of fresh ingredients. I highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely return in the future. On another occasion, I came on a Friday evening and found ample parking space available. The outdoor seating offered a pleasant environment to enjoy my meal.
We had an excellent experience at Garre Café! Everything was wonderful—from the food and service to the ambiance. The café has a beautiful terrace overlooking the vineyards, which is definitely a plus. We also noticed a few tables with pets, so it seems to be pet-friendly as well. Our server, Patricia, stood out for her warmth and professionalism—she made our visit even more enjoyable. They welcomed us with a delicious focaccia that was absolutely exquisite. To start, we shared the Calamari Fritti, which were flavorful, crispy, and generously portioned. For our main courses, we ordered the Seafood Pasta and the Carbonara—both were perfectly cooked and full of flavor. We also found the prices to be very reasonable and appropriate for the quality and setting of the place. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Visited on a Sunday for lunch to celebrate my bday with a friend. Not super hot so decided to sit outside as most others were there and not many folks were sitting inside. We planned to do a tasting after lunch so we didn’t order wine. Started with the charcuterie board and it was just ok, could’ve been a bit more decorative presentation-wise. We also shared the pear Gorgonzola flatbread which was really good. For entrees, she got the beet salad and I got the Reuben. I could only eat half of mine but the sandwich was quite good, not too salty. She wasn’t too full with the salad so ordered the calamari. Came out quickly and was tasty, including green beans which was different. The only downside of the experience was that the waiter never acknowledged celebrating my bday as we thought he’d do something for dessert. My friend noted it on the reservation and even mentioned it to the host upon checking in. He could’ve been more attentive, though maybe he was paying more attention to his other tables. Other than this, location and views were awesome and felt like you were secluded in the Livermore wine valley. Unsure if I’d return to the cafe due to the less desirable service but we enjoyed the tasting afterwards and my friend became a member!

Had a great lunch at the restaurant. The bruschetta, jambalaya, and Caesar salad were all delicious. Their non-oaked Chardonnay was fantastic too. Afterwards we took a walk to the tasting room and they had some live music. Jeff was fantastic! He even took some requests!

Went to have lunch today at their cafe. Really nice place for lunch. Plenty of inside and outside seating. Also, looks like this place stays pretty busy. Good variety of lunch selections. All of the food looked good from what I saw. I started with a small Baby Spinach and Arugula Salad. Nice size salad and tasted good with the Honey Balsamic Dressing versus the Raspberry Champagne Vinaigrette dressing. The other salad that we ordered was a small Beet Salad. Again very tasty and nice serving size. Our waiter brought some delicious fresh baked bread. Our main courses we had their Margarita Pizza (nice size - well made - great tasting crust), Chicken Alfredo (I didn’t try it but it looked good and again nice serving size). I had their Blackened Salmon Sandwich that was served on Gilled Chibatta (well made sandwich) served with Fries. The only reason I gave this 4 Stars is the waiter we had could have been better. I used to be a server years ago. Wasn’t on his A Game. Forgot things (I know it happens but admit to it don’t try and play it off) and pay attention to your tables especially when it isn’t slammed. Again nice place - I will go back again.

Service was “okay” nothing extraordinary. This is a place to go and have a relaxed time with friends/family, not in a rush. The food was good.

I recently had the privilege of attending my 50th high school reunion at this winery. I have never been to this winery, but I was very impressed with the food, staff, and quality of wine. The owner of the winery was very engaging and helpful in helping me pick the type of wine that I would enjoy. He was spot on! My husband and I enjoyed the wine so much that we bought several bottles to share with friends. I would highly recommend giving this winery a try and maybe scheduling an event if the opportunity presents itself.

Had lunch here this past week and it was great! The salmon was delicious and the fresh bread was great! My only regret was it was a work lunch and I didn't get to sample any wine! The view is beautiful as well!

We are members of their wine club and have been very happy with them. Tonight, we enjoyed dinner in their restaurant and had a wonderful experience. Good food, good service and an overall great experience. Their lunch offerings are our favorite, simply due to our schedules. Every visit has been wonderful!
