Keystone Resort is a popular destination for winter sports enthusiasts, offering a renowned snowboard park and diverse slopes suitable for varying skill levels. The resort recently received 21 inches of snow, extending the season until April 16th, providing visitors with an extra week of late-season skiing and riding through Easter. Additionally, season pass holders can take advantage of discounted buddy passes during this period.
Amazing ski resort. Coming from a greenhorn, the mountain and everyone on it were very accommodating and kind. Many paths to take. After hitting the bunny slope with the kids, I got the courage to hit the greens. Very forgiving and wide. I can not wait to return, improve, explore, and take in the beautiful surroundings. The staff was super friendly, talented, and educational. The lifts were fantastic and plentiful. After our long day, we took advantage of the lodge. Lots of food items, atmosphere, and IPA's.

I returned home today and I really didn't want to leave that paradise. It's a mixture of fun, tranquility and overwhelming scenery. The route through the mountain is challenging for those who don't know the place but are worth every minute in it. The people who work in this place are formidable . . and if they want to have a good, tasty breakfast, visit (Steep Brewing and Coffee!!!.

Keystone Resort in Colorado is the perfect destination for a Christmas or New Year vacation! The atmosphere is absolutely amazing, filled with holiday spirit and breathtaking mountain views. The ski trails are beautifully maintained and offer something for every level, whether you’re a beginner or an experienced skier. The vibe here is festive and welcoming, making it the ideal spot to celebrate the holidays with family and friends. Between the gorgeous snowy scenery, fun activities, and top-notch skiing, Keystone truly delivers a magical winter getaway. Highly recommend!

This was my first visit to a bike park, and I LOVED it! Great green trails for skill practice and a few fun blues to finish the day. All the staff we interacted with were so friendly and helpful. Can't wait to go back!

Well it’s been about 5 years since I did some downhill biking at Keystone and I can say without a doubt, it’s an absolute blast! All the changes and improvements have made this place a killer park!!

Great for family’s. Has everything you need. I would give it five stars, but there’s a lot of other resorts in Colorado. I would pick over Keystone.!
Rachel F — Google review
The hotel rooms are a bit dated and construction on site a bit noisy, but the location is great, the trails are beautiful, the views and peace of the place is amazing, the spa and restaurant were great for a relaxing weekend.

Cafe
Inxpot is a cozy cafe located in the beautiful River Run Village, offering a comfortable setting filled with books. It's a great spot to satisfy your coffee cravings and indulge in delicious breakfast options like hearty toast and signature burritos. The cafe serves locally roasted coffee brewed in small batches for quality. With its blend of books, coffee, martinis, and delectable sandwiches, Inxpot has become a local favorite.
Inxpot offers great food and even better service. There's inside and outside seating, and after a whole day of skiing ⛷️ their cortado tastes the best one can ask for. Their assortment of pastries is great too, with their strawberry & cheese and the apple turnover being excellent. As a plus, they have some books too if one is in the mood for some reading after hitting the slopes.

Inxpot is a dream come true for early risers and mountain lovers alike. Opening bright and early, it’s the perfect place to start your day with a delicious breakfast beverage in hand and that cozy local vibe that makes you want to linger. The oatmeal? Absolutely next level—comforting, hearty, and full of flavor. Pair it with one of their expertly crafted coffees and you're set for the day. The atmosphere is just as memorable as the food—think comfy couches, shelves of books, a game of chess by the window, and the kind of mountain-town charm that instantly makes you feel at home. A must-visit if you’re in town. Can’t wait to come back!

$16 and change for a” hot and ready” burrito. It wasn’t hot and it wasn’t ready. The entire thing fit inside the palm of my hand see photo. I guess this is what you get in resort towns now the spot used to be awesome but after this and then them wanting $4.50 for a coffee in my own mug I won’t be going back.

Loved it. Such a cute spot! The interior was totally unexpected as was the deliciousness of the elderberry croissant. We recently went to France and lemme tell ya, they ain’t got no elderberry croissants. They baristas were great and so helpful and friendly and it was all a clean as could be. Def will go back and really can’t figure how we’ve never been here before! Husband and I are trying vanilla lattes everywhere around the globe that we can find them and comparing. From worldwide chains to local carts. We love it! These were okey dokey!

Sometimes, I have to wake up at 5:30 a.m. to avoid the traffic from Denver to Keystone, and I don’t mind it at all. I usually arrive in Keystone around seven, right when Inxpot opens. The staff is always friendly and cheerful, creating a welcoming atmosphere. It’s a great place to hang out and read while waiting for the mountain to open.
Aaron R — Google review
This is a cool, comfortable coffee shop. Definitely worth a visit for a drink (caffeinated or boozy) and a chat with your bestie. The day I visited, they happened to be very short-staffed. It resulted in the wrong drink being made for me. I noticed that things were HECTIC for them that day, and the drink was close enough, so I didn't make a deal out of it. There are number of pastries for sale as well. We got a cinnamon roll and a muffin (from their day-old 50%-off plate, which I appreciate). The muffin did seem a bit under-done on the inside, but still good. Along with coffee drinks, they offer a bunch of cocktails, breakfast burritos, bagels, salads and sandwiches. The fridges stock energy drinks (which can be made into cocktails) and a few beer selections. The atmosphere is very cool, kind of looks like an old library. There are big stuffed chairs and wooden tables for you. There is a lot of natural light streaming in from large windows. There are bookshelves filled with books (which are all for sale), and a homey mantel. Are you in the mood for a mocha latte or a tipsy mocha? Either way, this comfy nook is worthy of a visit.
Rich T — Google review
Been thinking about Keystone lately. Winter's on its way. Checking in on my go-to coffee spot. Great vibe. Great brews. Friendly staff. Nice spots inside and out to sip, warm up, and chill.
David C — Google review
We were originally drawn in because we read that they are the home of the 4$ Irish Coffee, and now this is our go-to breakfast spot at the mountain. The unit itself is very small and gets VERY crowded. There is a small bar and a room with tables in the back, but people also crowd around to wait for their to-go orders. We love their burritos! If you have time, and can find a table, I suggest ordering the burrito smothered, but if you're on the go, it's just not feasible. The food is always HOT and gives you a great base for a long day of riding. Their spicy salsa is very thin and runny, but tastes amazing! Their famous 4$ Irish Coffee is hot, strong and nicely topped with whipped cream and sprinkles! I would highly recommend this place! Original Yelp review 3/14/2021

Arapahoe Basin is a popular ski resort known for its high-elevation terrain and long season, making it the first to open and the last to close. It's favored by serious snow enthusiasts for its rugged slopes and laid-back atmosphere, often featuring tail-gate BBQs after skiing. While lacking some amenities of larger resorts, it offers diverse skiing options for various skill levels, including challenging routes that require hiking. The staff is friendly and helpful, with well-marked trails and satisfactory equipment.
The first colorado ski resort to check off my list; I spent two days here and it was awesome. My snowboarding instructors Casey and Philip are amazing. 10/10 thanks for everything, guys! 💙 If you're a beginner snowboarder, request them for sure. Check in and rental process was quick and easy. Good atmosphere and terrain was well groomed. Beginner friendly runs, as well as challenging ones. Lift attendants were helpful. Not too busy and no long lines on a tues-thurs. Love the tail-gate vibes and music. Lastly, if you go to the restaurant, order the Hot Apple Pie. You're welcome. #balance&composure

Fantastic and has the best spring skiing around considering how late they stay open! Might be the only place around, but it presents fully open as if it’s the middle of season. Friendly and helpful staff, easy parking and shuttle, quick access to restrooms, food options, and almost a beach like atmosphere at this stage of the year!! (May-June). Reduced pricing too- can’t beat great skiing, short lines, low traffic!
MtZ R — Google review
Great intermediate to expert terrain, elevation makes spring skiing pleasant. My old family of six people had a great day skiing. Not a fancy place but a skiers' paradise.
Kipp E — Google review
It's a great place to ski. The ski area opens in late fall all the way to early summer. Great view at the mountain top and good live music at the base. Parking is limited because many people will be there. Go there early to get parking closer to the lift.

Great mountain for skiing or riding. Good people good vibes. Lots of special events throughout the year with music and shenanigans. Ropes course and plenty of hiking and biking trails for summer activities

We had a great time visiting A-basin in late May- after Memorial Day! So excited they were still open. 🎿 The rental shop was great- personalized service by Nick & Rebekah. They set us up with some great gear to use. 🎿 It’s been a while since we’ve skied, we loved the convenience of keeping our lift ticket in our pocket, vs the old skool tags that were scanned at the lift. Great prices, no crowds & free parking for Spring!!!
Kelly H — Google review
Legendary for a reason! Was able to snowboard here in June and October. I really like that there isn’t a resort type of vibe here. Just people that come to enjoy the sport.
David T — Google review
Skiing here over Memorial Day weekend is an amazing experience. The two open lodges serve food that surpasses the quality of most other ski resorts, adding to the enjoyment of the trip. Even in late May, the snow remains in excellent condition, making for a fantastic ride down the slopes. One thing to keep in mind: ski lifts may shut down for 30 minutes after a lightning strike. If the weather is unforgiving, you could end up waiting half the day with your boots on. But beyond that, there's little to complain about when visiting the only ski resort still open at the end of May.

Good Times Adventure Tours offers an unforgettable experience with dog sledding and snowmobiling. The dog sledding tour is a highlight, featuring enthusiastic dogs and a picturesque trail. The staff ensures the well-being of the dogs, making it a heartwarming experience. Snowmobiling is equally thrilling, with easy-to-use equipment and stunning views. Participants get to drive their own snowmobiles and enjoy being pulled in a sled when not driving.
Today was the best day of my life—I’m not kidding! Dog sledding was the most amazing, fun, and memorable experience!!! Alec, our guide, had such a great vibe! His calm and reassuring energy helped put the group at ease. We’re scheduled to go back tomorrow for snowmobiling, but this company has already exceeded my expectations, so this review is well deserved!! 10/10!!!! If you’re in Breckenridge, this is a MUST!!

This was such an amazing experience! Our guide Jeff was so knowledgeable and down to earth. My family was a group of 4 and we had another couple with us as well, but she made us all feel included as a team. The dogs were so amazing, and it was extremely neat to learn about each and every one of them (for our sled team that is). I was surprised we were able to play with them and pet them as well. The amazing photos and views were breathtaking. If you ever get the chance to do this, this is the place to go in Breck!
Jodi M — Google review
We went here to celebrate my birthday and it truly exceeded our expectations! The dog sledding was worth every penny. In addition to the dogs, our guide Baker was a highlight of our experience. He was friendly, kind, patient, informative, helpful and all around the perfect person to lead us. We couldn’t have had a better time. A gem in Breckenridge and a MUST if you’re in Colorado.

Unforgettable Family Adventure! Snowmobiling has always been on my ski trip bucket list, and now I’m wondering why we didn’t do it sooner. This experience was absolutely incredible—so much fun for the whole family, and something we’ll be making a tradition from here on out. The snowmobiles were top-notch and easy to handle, even for beginners. Our guide, Maggie, was fantastic—super knowledgeable, friendly, and made the whole ride feel safe and exciting. The moment we reached Georgia Pass and took in that breathtaking view? Unreal. If you’re on the fence about booking this excursion, take this as your sign—do it!

Awesome experience! My son (16) and I did the dog sled tour yesterday (3/30/25) on a family trip to Breckenridge. This was absolutely the experience of a lifetime and just fantastic. Our guide, Erin, was so patient and sweet and clearly loves the dogs and her job. We loved getting to pet the dogs and interact with them. It was a blast getting to ride the dog sled, drive the dog sled and also ride behind Erin as she pulled a sleigh with a snowmobile. My son really did well driving the dog sled and had such a good time doing it. The dogs were so beautiful, we decided we want our own dog sled team of eight Huskies. Not so sure how that will work at home in Tennessee, but I can dream! Please do yourself a favor when in Breckenridge and book a dog sledding adventure with this company. It is pricey, but so worth it!
Allison B — Google review
Incredible Family adventure. We went yesterday as a family and had an incredible time with the DogSledding! Sophia was an incredible guide, everyone was able to drive the sled our 12 and 9 year old! Previously our family had gone dog sledding near Leadville Co, that was also a good time but we were basically in a big field. Good Times Adventure Tours was awesome their property bordered the National Forest and so we were on trails in the forest up and down around tight turns it was fantastic. The dogs were amazing and well cared for. It is clear that the whole team at at Good times are passionate with what they do. I would hold heartily encourage anyone to go and dog sledding with Good Times Adventures!!!
Eric M — Google review
I had an amazing time riding the snowmobile! The entire crew was incredibly helpful and made sure we were fully prepared for the adventure. A huge shoutout to the team for going above and beyond when I had a flat tire on my way out. Instead of just letting us figure it out on our own, they all stepped in to help, even assisting me in finding a hotel, Tow truck and a place to get my car fixed. I highly recommend this place! Not only is it a fantastic experience, but they also provide all the necessary gear at no extra cost—unlike other places that charge for snow gear.
Luna I — Google review
We recently did the snow mobile tour with Good Times. Our tour guide Josh was beyond fantastic! We could not recommend him enough. He was incredibly helpful and ensured that everyone felt confident and knowledgeable about how to operate the vehicle before we took off. He went at a good pace for everyone and guided us through some beautiful terrain before we came to the "top" of our trip with the fantastic views shown in the photos. There were no "scary" cliffs, so this is extremely family friendly. The mobiles offer space for a passenger, so that was a great bonus too as we did have some children with us. You get what you pay for, and going with a company who knows the mountain, knows what they are doing and ensures you feel safe and well equipped is key. We will definitely be back and will definitely request Josh again.

Luigi's Pastahouse is a fantastic place with quick and excellent service. The bread served with delicious butter is a must-try, and the penne alla vodka has its own unique and delicious twist. It's highly recommended for those who love vodka sauce. Additionally, it's a good spot for drinks, appetizers, and desserts. Perfect for dinner after a day of skiing or just to enjoy some great food in general.
This place was very good! First of all the service was fantastic we order food and got it in like 5 minutes, amazing, we weren’t even done with our bread. Secondly the bread was amazing with great butter to go along with the bread. Lastly my penne alla vodka was very good, as an avid vodka sauce lover this place did not disappoint it had the vodka sauce taste but they put their own twist on it and it was delicious. I would highly recommend eating here!

Great food nestled in a beautiful ski resort in the mountains. The fried mozzarella was amazing. Most of bnb our food was delicious. Didn't care for the Italian beef sandwich.
Carrie N — Google review
Good food and decent portions. Nice beer selection and very friendly staff! Lots of space and lively crowd.
Nolan A — Google review
Great food, fantastic service, and solid hours. They were a bit behind given that it was Christmas day, and we're admittedly understaffed, but all possible efforts were clearly made to make sure things ran smoothly.
Luc — Google review
Staff was very friendly, even accommodated 8 people quickly. The food was very good and came out fast and hot. Some of our mixed drinks were good but my friend got a strawberry margarita that was so so and my wife got some sort of Italian drink with an orange peel in it that was very bitter but maybe that is what it is supposed to taste like. I got a Cabernet and they only poured maybe 4 oz. so overall good and service was good but missed the mark on drinks so for that I just give 3 stars. For as much money as restaurants charge for drinks I should really be delighted by the drinks!!
Brian P — Google review
The food here had a lot of flavor and was good quality, but there wasn't enough of it. Three people at my table including me ordered a recommended pasta dish and were all disappointed with the portion size. Ironically, the fourth person at our table ordered a sandwich with french fries and couldn't finish it all because it was so much food. He shared, thankfully. I think this place could be great if they fixed the price/food ratio. My experience was a bit underwhelming, though. Will definitely be looking for other options next time.

Summit House is a cafeteria-style eatery located at the top of the mountain, offering breathtaking views and a variety of food options including sandwiches, soups, salads, and beer. Visitors can enjoy a free gondola ride on Fridays during the summer to reach this scenic spot. The location provides an array of family-friendly activities and seating areas.
It's really good! My only comment is, is that the French fries were a bit on the salty side but warm and delicious. It gets extremely busy during lunch time hours! If you go, go early. Later in the day isn't bad, around 3 pm you probably could find a seat available! I also went there a second time and got the hot chocolate. It's worth it and so yummy.
Avery B — Google review
Pricey, but I guess that’s what you get with a restaurant on top of a mountain :) the sandwiches were seriously so delicious. And eating lunch with such a beautiful view? Unbeatable.
Rachel S — Google review
Food was one of the best on mountain experiences that I have had in Colorado. Summit House could stand do a better job of communication with their staff. We came in during a snowstorm for lunch and of course the place was packed but there was plenty of seating upstairs. When we tried to go upstairs we were told by a snotty employee that it was for staff only. Then somebody came over and said we could go up. Everything else was good but somebody should have been paying attention to the influx of skiers at lunch time to free up tables. Food was great and it was quick.
Mike S — Google review
Love the view of Dillon Reservoir from the upper decks here! Unfortunately, the bathrooms are below the main level, down stairs. The covid food selection is so-so and pricey (i.e., two beers and two bags of chips for $25.. what a steal!). Otherwise, the eating areas are comfortable enough for a quick rest before heading back out again!
Brian B — Google review
We had a great time high up at the Summit House! Breath taking views all around you. There was Bags, Jega, and Connet 4 that the family really enjoyed. We decided on some Bloody Mary's to take in the view at the very top of the summit house. Our family will forever remember this great experience! Staff was nice and bloody's were delicious.
Cassie E — Google review
Overpriced for what you get. We decided to eat here since we were hungry on the mountain and got this (see photo 1 of 2) for $50, which was insane. It was hard to get a seat here since it was busy, a line for food, and slow service but the staff were nice. The place was also kinda outdated too. Overall, not really worth it for the price. Go somewhere else.

I love the summer free Friday gondola ride up to the top of the mountain. I'm not sure if it's the summit house or who that sets up all the games, chairs, and family fun. We had a blast! I assume the summit house had the bar and food station. The line was long to get food so i went to the bar. The staff was great. They were very friendly and informative. I loved the water bottle fountain. We are bringing back our entire family in December so i will update you then.

Barbecue restaurant
Nestled at the base of the Ruby Express Lift in Keystone Resort, LaBonte's Smokehouse BBQ offers a unique dining experience accessible only by skiing or snowboarding. While prices are on the higher side, the quality of food justifies it. The outdoor patio seating provides a great atmosphere for enjoying delicious brisket sandwiches and other smoked meats while soaking up the sun. The mid-mountain location adds to its appeal, making it an ideal spot for a break during skiing or snowboarding.
BBQ smothered tots really hit the spot! Well worth the wait, good luck finding a seat (but isn't that every mid-mountain lodge?). The vinegar sauce is my new obsession. Will be back for sure!
Kristen N — Google review
This place is great for what you get. Instead of paying 20 bucks for a burger, I paid 20 bucks for a brisket sandwich and it was delicious! (Everything tastes better when you're skiing, but I was so happy I ordered this). Had a great lunch on the patio chairs outside in the sun. Sitting inside was a little crowded and felt cafeteria-like, but sitting outside was really fun.
Jeremey E — Google review
The service was terrible! Our plates were half-empty, and I cannot recommend this place. The blonde girl serving the food was very rude, and there was no bread available. Perhaps weekdays are worse than weekends. Please, do not eat here!
Maria M — Google review
Love this place! Music's always playing. Chili bowl has the best price in the resort. And beer always taste better in the mountains. I've been skiing Summit County since I was a kid and this has always been my favorite on mountain spot.
Kyle B — Google review
Great stop at the base of two ski lifts at Keystone. Fantastic pulled pork, brisket, and Mac and cheese. Friendly service despite the onslaught of skiers. Picnic table seating and a lot of low sitting outdoor chairs. You can soak up some Colorado sun, while taking a rest.
Michael R — Google review
This is the perfect place to grab a hearty lunch on the mountain! The platter is about $20 but has so much food that it’s perfect to split between 2 or even 3 people (depending on appetites)! They also have quite the selection of barbecue sauces to choose from.

Best $6.50 beer I've ever had. Steps from Ruby and Santiago lifts, order drinks (beer, bloody marys were our favorite) from outside. Music playing, good view of Starfire, Mozart runs.

They just remodeled the place with a lot of nice indoor seating. The beer and food are still expensive, but it's a good stop if you don't want to head all the way back to the base in the middle of the day.

Day 2

Off the beaten path
For day 2, if you don’t mind the extra trek, today covers more off the beaten path places like Loveland Ski Area. Not quite as popular as River Run Village, but still highly rated among many travelers. Accounting for getting around and average time spent, today’s activities could take about 7 hours.

Ski & Snowboard Areas
Loveland Ski Area is a popular destination offering 1,800 acres of skiable terrain and snowcat skiing along the Continental Divide. It's a great option for those looking to ski and spend time surrounded by mountains and nature. The area offers reasonable prices for seasonal passes and rentals, as well as delicious food at the cafeteria. Visitors recommend making reservations in advance to avoid long wait times.
I used to ski a small hill in Western New York on a weekly basis but I started at 37, so I am happy to be at intermediate/ beginner level. I now live in Dallas, Texas and my crave for skiing is monumental. I figured out not just Denver is my affordable solution but Loveland is also my go to. Distance - closer to Denver compared to Vail, Breckenridge, etc. 1.5 hours from Aurora for me so 35 mins from Denver? I-70 could be a nightmare after a bad snow storm and the time to get there would double. Fun fact - it's a rare ski resort on top of a tunnel / pass. Pricing - cheaper day passes (we do $50 for the Valley side and I am happy with the trails over there), for basin access, the day pass could be expensive but there are many pre-season sales. I am not a veteran nor a senior but I think they have great seasonal offers for those people. Rentals - normally I rent from the city from Christi Sports and bring those equipment to skip the line, but when I skied in early May, they were not open, so, I rented from Loveland. Easy walk-in for $55 (no helmet), and I was a happy skier. Parking - i never had a problem off peak season, during peak season, i still could park right at the lodge but the shuttle lot is not bad. Love the tailgate parties! Shuttle - the line could be long and slow at the end of the day if one needs to go from basin back to valley or ski area to parking spots. But convenient and orderly. Facilities - dining area is busy and it might be hard to grab an indoor table, looks like some larger groups like to hoard the tables. For me personally it never bothers me because I like snow time more than rest time, but if you have younger children, you have to be a bit strategical about it. Lifts - lines are good, skiers are polite, most lifts are pretty slow. I think it is huge, so many trails... There is a point on top from which you could see other mountains. There is also a trail named Awesome! Snow condition - of course it is way better than Western New York and there are great powder days. For me it could still be icy on some slopes and/ or I am not super good with bumps. But that means a lot of thrills for advanced skiers. Bonuses - there is a free train? cog train? shuttle? at the top. There is a cute hilltop cabin with nice seatings, wonderful view, and live music (also at the bottom). It does not have resort-like lodging and shopping mall vibe like Vail but like this better.

The place was nice, facilities were clean. The place was crowded I booked a 2 hr private lesson only got 1 1/2 hr of it and the instructor was like ok bye I have another class. And was left in my own. The staff is very friendly, they do have a rescue team in case of emergency. Their food was decent and had fun doing it regardless of the difficulty breathing that nobody advised me of ahead of time. At some point I felt like I was passing out. But overall it was fun. Would I do it again absolutely NO is not my thing but those who like the snow and the adventure and adrenaline this place is magical. The views are incredible sunrise here is amazingly beautiful and don’t go thinking you will find flat areas as a beginner because there are none and the easy beginner friendly areas are as scary as the regular ones.
Glennyza D — Google review
Loveland was wonderful, no long lines no waiting. I didn't purchase any food but I am sure their food prices are like all resorts, pricey. But I enjoyed everything ☺️ the people are nice and welcoming and they are still doing the old school scan method instead of RFID which is fine because all the resorts I am used to do that.

We had our wedding at Loveland Ski Area last weekend, and it was absolutely perfect! The entire staff was amazing from start to finish—so kind, caring, and attentive to every detail. Our coordinator, Sage, was incredible to work with. She went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly and that we could truly enjoy our day. The setting itself is stunning—calm, relaxing, and beautifully laid-back, with the most gorgeous mountain views. The food was delicious, and our guests couldn’t stop talking about how beautiful and comfortable the whole atmosphere was. If you’re looking for a venue that’s both breathtaking and welcoming, Loveland Ski Area is the perfect choice. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

From the Denver airport to George Town was an exhilarating 45-minute ride! Once we arrived, we found a fantastic place to stay right in the heart of downtown. Just a quick 12-15 minute drive will land you in the incredible Loveland sky area—a perfect spot for beginners ready to embark on their adventure! Everything is super affordable, and we had an absolute blast exploring all the fun this vibrant destination has to offer! March 08-11 2025

Had a blast on my recent trip to Loveland. The lines were pretty much non-existent, the snow quality was great, and there was a lot of varying terrain for an intermediate skier. Great local mountain feel and great all around atmosphere. Only complaint is the lifts are a bit slow but it's a good to chance to recover in between runs!
Anthony N — Google review
LOVED it here! I’m still a beginner (after 2 years) and I felt so comfortable and confident riding these greens and I even went down a small blue, I fell a little but it was manageable! The view from the top of the Ptarmigan lift was AMAZING!!
Cheyenne N — Google review
Went skiing for my first time ever on New Year’s Eve! I stayed in the valley which was perfect for a beginner like myself. They had magic carpets for two bunny slopes and two lifts for green slopes. I stuck with the magic carpet for my first trip. I took an evening class with an instructor who was very patient and informative. After a few tips and some practice I was significantly more confident than when I arrived. It was so much fun I came back a few weeks later and went on the lift for my first time. The lift attendants were awesome and would slow the lift down for new skiers. It was another great experience and I would recommend Loveland Ski Area (specifically the valley) for anyone who wants to try out skiing. I will update my review once I am comfortable enough going to the Basin!

Loveland Pass, situated on the Continental Divide, offers stunning vistas and outdoor activities. Visitors can explore nearby attractions such as Hoosier Pass near Breckenridge, the Colorado Trail, Mohawk Lakes, and Sapphire Point at Swan Mountain. The area is known for its vibrant wildflowers in July. Travelers driving through Colorado are encouraged to take Route 6 over Loveland Pass instead of the tunnel to fully appreciate the mountainous beauty and continental divide.
Loveland Pass is incredible. The views are amazing and even with traffic it's definitely worth the drive. For a more scenic route and to get a real feel of the Mountains, I'd recommend 5 out of 5 times!

My pictures don’t do this place justice, but beautiful panoramic scene of the mountains. Just be better geared than I was when heading up. 🤓
Angelica S — Google review
What an incredible detour. We were heading to Vail and saw this spot is a great picturesque stop. YEAH! IT TOTALLY IS. We drove from Texas and 11,900ish feet of elevation is pretty spicy for us but it was so worth it. Just be sure to take your time, breathe and take a jacket!! It was 68 at the base and 41 at the top. My delay in acclimation was all forgotten when you see the views. Mind you, children were running up and down the hill and I could barely breathe haha but it was all gorgeous. 1000/10

Loveland Pass is never not going to be THAT GIRL. I'm a couple's photographer (elopements, engagements, microweddings, weddings) and any sessions I have up on this mountain pass never fail me. The sunsets ALWAYS HIT!

We happened to pass through Loveland Pass while returning from Vail Village, and it turned out to be one of the most memorable parts of our trip. The view from the top is absolutely breathtaking — surrounded by snow-covered mountains, crisp mountain air, and sweeping panoramic scenery that looks straight out of a postcard. Even though it was a spontaneous stop, it felt like stepping into another world. The natural beauty, serenity, and sheer scale of the Rockies are awe-inspiring. If you’re driving through Colorado, especially between Vail and Denver, make sure to take this route — it’s a drive you’ll never forget. Highly recommended for anyone who loves nature, photography, or just wants to experience the magic of the Colorado high country!

Just needed to clear my head & took a drive the other day, was unable to take the pass due to snow but ended up grabbing lunch at "Dam Brewery" in Dillon & had excellent service & a really good lunch on the patio. If you are in the area I'd for sure stop in for good food & great staff! Not to mention some pretty epic views of the mountains!!!

As an intimate wedding and elopement photographer, I love sharing Loveland Pass with couples who want easily accessible, showstopping mountain views. This beautiful location never disappoints!

Keystone Lake Ice Rink

Ice skating rink
Keystone Lake Ice Rink is an absolute gem for winter enthusiasts, offering the largest outdoor ice rink where families can enjoy skating, hockey, and even sledding. Nestled against a stunning mountain backdrop, this picturesque location provides fresh alpine air and ample space for everyone to glide around without feeling cramped. The rink is well-maintained with regular Zamboni sessions ensuring a smooth surface for skaters of all skill levels.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ – A Classic Spot for Ice Skating Keystone Ice Rink is a fantastic place for skating, whether you’re there to practice or just have fun. The rink is well-maintained, and the atmosphere is always welcoming. It’s a great spot for families, friends, or anyone wanting to enjoy a classic Canadian experience. Five stars for a fun, community-centered venue! ⛸️❄️🎉 - Very cold, dress warm.
Larry L — Google review
Call before you spend the money to see if ice is cleaned. Just cause it’s open doesn’t mean it’s skate-able. An hour in and the ice still had an inch of snow. Asked for a shovel and they wouldn’t give it to us. We were offering to clean our own ice! They say, “Zamboni is on its way”… 20 min later still shoveling our own ice using kid skate helpers. If you are going to charge a butt load of money attest clean your ice or let us do it. Waste of money. *updated: they did discount us since the ice never got cleaned. Still recommend calling! Their hours online aren’t always right.
Danika H — Google review
Such a beautiful day and amazing experience!!! I can’t believe I never went here in the nearly 20 years of living and visiting Summit County!!! The staff at the Adventure Center were great. The skates were great for rentals. And the experience of skating on a huge frozen lake is unforgettable!!! We’re hoping to go again next week before having to leave!
Erin V — Google review
We love Keystone Lake Ice Rink! First of all unique experience as the views are stunning and you can see thru layers of this ice on the lake specially after machine passing by. So spacious that you don’t feel crowded. Also they have hockey box, separate. Service super nice! Pretty good skates also compare to many rental places and price friendly. Only thing is parking across the road, but that’s not as important
Yulia S — Google review
We love skating on a real frozen lake. Coming from the south each year we look forward to this rare and exciting experience. The lake is huge with some areas more groomed than others and a full sized hockey arena in addition to acres of free skate area. They have skate helpers and sleds for babies to ride in.
Julie S — Google review
Gorgeous lake for skating in the winter. Not only is there a cut little "town" around it, you get beautiful mountain scape in the background. I took this in early Feb during a trip ski. The ice is a little bumpy, but the Zamboni is run multiple times per day. There are areas to play ho key split off and plenty of room for people to have fun or work on skills. Watch out for the snow in your blade, it slows your blade down suddenly, like hitting water while running
Chelsea J — Google review
Look. If you’re not down for the largest outdoor ice rink with hockey and sleds for your kids, then I’m not down with you. You can’t possibly be complaining about frozen water, Mountain View’s, fresh alpine air and rental skates. TF is wrong with you? This place is fire. Plenty of space for the whole family to romp around and not bump into anyone. Straight lawless fun, even on weekends. Remember, life is as good as you want it to me. Don’t be a salty Nancy (sorry to the Nancy’s out there 🫶🏾).
Mike R — Google review
It was an amazing experience! We were the first to hit the ice for this season. I am an amputee. They allowed me to bring my wheelchair on the ice with my mini skies. They were very accommodating to our needs. Shoe stabilizers walker for the little grandson. It was wonderful!

Keystone Nordic Center is a great spot for cross-country skiing with well-groomed trails and equipment rentals available. It's ideal for Epic pass holders, offering a seasonal pass at a discounted rate. The center doesn't have flat trails, so be prepared for some hills. Lessons are available, and the instructors are highly praised for their expertise and patience. Additionally, tubing is offered as an alternative activity at an affordable price.
Review for the Keystone Nordic Center The Keystone Nordic Center is truly a gem! Everyone working here is super friendly and clearly passionate about what they do. Their enthusiasm creates such a positive and welcoming environment. We had the pleasure of taking lessons with Jana, and she was absolutely fantastic! Funny, patient, and incredibly talented, Jana made learning both fun and effective. She taught us so well that we were confidently skiing for the very first time without any issues. Thanks to Jana’s guidance, we even managed to ski the entire green slopes with high confidence! It was such an empowering experience, and we couldn’t have done it without her expert teaching and encouragement. If you’re looking for a place to learn Nordic skiing or just want a great experience, this is the place to be. Highly recommend the Keystone Nordic Center and especially Jana—she’s the best!
Maulik K — Google review
An extremely fun experience with some of the most friendliest and helpful people we have met. Large discounts if you are staying at a Keystone hotel/lodge and/or attending a Keystone conference. Very strongly recommend. They have a wonderful cross-country ski track (various levels and nice elevation changes), ski gear for various levels, lessons, gondola rides, snow shoeing etc. I got to cross country ski for just $20 including the ski rentals. The center is run by a former Olympian who also gives the lessons. They also have snow tubing and a nice indoor cafe inside with freshly baked cookies, hot chocolate, and a few drinks as well.
Alan V — Google review
We took a 1.5 hour cross country lesson. Claire was great. XC Skiing is so much cheaper and accessible than regular skiing! I called two days ahead of time to book our lesson. No crowds and lots of available parking: easy. We will definitely come back if we are in the area again. We also experienced the tubing hill with the kids. It was $20 a person per hour. I’m not sure how much more exiting the $45-50 big tubing slides are, but this hill was a great way to spend an hour for less! This tubing is also more available and accessible than the more expensive tubing in the area. I made a reservation a day in advance.

What a beautiful golf course. First time to play here. We had a great time. Every hole has a beautiful view. I personally like seeing the prairie dogs runny around. Great place i will be back.

Informative tours available and on your own trail maps for snowshoeing & cross country skiing. Family style snow tubing on a small hill I.e. You do all the work fun. Incredible vistas peak through several spots on the trails. Don't go off the trail if there has been heavy snow - you might sink to your waist.
Tami G — Google review
We went to this place with friends, and it turned out to be one of the best locations for skiing. Our instructor, Wendy, was among the best we've had. She was incredibly kind and passionate about teaching us skiing, guiding us patiently throughout. We also tried tubing, which was a lot of fun. This place is very affordable and customer-friendly. I highly recommend it.

Had a wonderful day snowshoeing on the Saturday guided hike up top Keystone on the Upper Windows trail w Randy as our guide. He was a true gentleman for our group of 4 ladies and very knowledgeable about the area, Local flora, and history of Keystone. Carter Park and Pavilion in Breckenridge is a versatile outdoor space offering various activities for visitors of all ages. The park features sports courts, ball fields, an off-leash dog area, and a heated picnic shelter. In addition to these amenities, the park also provides access to family-friendly hikes and transforms into a popular sledding hill during winter. The pavilion serves as a hub for community events and private gatherings, making it suitable for diverse occasions.
We had an amazing time here! It was so much fun for the whole family, the best part is that it is free! The views were so beautiful as well. Just note: The sled shed was empty when we got there but I found out that people leave their sheds out there near the hill instead of returning them. So don’t get discouraged if this happens, just go searching and you will find a sled or you can bring your own. I will say that it can be slippery when walking to the top of the hill so be careful. Have fun!!
TIKIA81 — Google review
We visited this dog park multiple times during our stay in Breckenridge and loved it! It's a clean, well-maintained space with plenty of room for dogs to run and play freely. Our pup had a blast making new friends, and we enjoyed chatting with many friendly fellow dog parents. A great spot for both dogs and their humans!
Anchal B — Google review
What an experience! We took an Uber (the town shuttle can drop you off too) right to the entrance and the kids had so much fun! There were plenty of sleds available for adults and kids. There are bathrooms and a water station available too.
Bindi B — Google review
Free sledding/tabogganing with courtesy sleds provided, fenced dog exercise areas and an awesome spot from which to watch a Breckenridge sunset.
Richard N — Google review
This is a quiet and serene park in the middle of a crowded neighborhood. Parking is limited and fills up fast and people start pouring in with their sleds. There's a dog park here as well. We went to check this place out at 7:30 am and it was empty. The ride is bumpy as the hill is raw and unprepared. I fell off my saucer-sled and hurt my back and neck. A normal long sled was good. Overall, this is a fun park to slide and play in the snow. Relish it!!
Shashidhar G — Google review
This was such a great day. Gorgeous views. Sleds are available to borrow. It wasn't a hard trip to the top with 2 toddlers. Bathrooms were available and heated. The only thing I would suggest is that apparently there needs to be better signage that when you reach the bottom, please exit the hill and make way for others that are waiting to sled down. I witnessed several times when folks were done they would turn and head right back up or just stand there. Suppose I could wear a helmet next time.
Melissha G — Google review
This is such a great hidden gem in Breckenridge! And FREE! We were there early in the season, but the kids had a great time sledding with the little snow there was. They even have a "sled borrowing shed" where you can borrow a sled to have some fun. Bonus: if you have a dog. There is a dog park right next door.
Cruising C — Google review
It’s the perfect place for kids — there’s so much for them to do, and the sledding hill was a big hit. The best part is that it’s completely free, which makes it even better for families looking for fun without spending a lot.

Totally magical!! I had out of town guests that wanted to experience the mountains and snow but did not ski so this was the perfect fit. All of the staff were helpful, polite and very personable. The horses were beautiful and our driver was a experienced horseman that shared his knowledge and love for the horses. I plan to make this a regular trip when I have out of town guests.

Went here for the Sleigh Ride Theatre Dinner with family, 8 of us.Everything was fabulous, as soon as we arrived we checked in in this cozy tent with a wood burning fire. we were offered hot chocolate, proceeded outdoors to an open fire while we waited for the Sleigh. The horses were beautiful. The sleigh ride was through a wooded area and took us to a log cabin where tables were all set up, Hot Chili, bread rolls,Salad and Hot Chocolate or Apple cider. You can also purchase alcoholic drinks if you want. After we got settled in, there was a lady entertainer dressed as a Saloon girl, she was fabulous, really knew how to entertain people. it was great. The dinner was simple but served very hot and delicious. Afterwards we all went outside to wait by the open fire for the sleigh to take us to our cars. Would highly recommend Golden Horseshoe Sleigh Rides.

What an amazing experience this was! From the beautiful scenery on the drive to get there to the hot chocolate by the fire and the ride itself, this was one of my favorite things we did while in Breckenridge. We were lucky enough to have it snow the day before and while we were on the ride, so the fresh powder made everything look spectacular. The hot chocolate was very good, our guide was super cool and informative, and the views were postcard worthy. I would highly recommend this to everyone!!!

We had a wonderful time on the dinner theater sleigh ride! We took our 4 and 6 year old kids and their Grandparents. The whole experience was perfect for all ages. The horses were huge and the sleigh ride was beautiful. When we walked into the cabin for dinner the ambiance felt like an old Western movie. The piano player was fantastic. The steak and salmon were amazing and we had huge portions. And the woman who plays Dixie did such an amazing job entertaining the whole crowd. My kids even loved the theatre part! I would highly recommend the dinner theater sleigh ride if you're looking for a memorable experience in Breckenridge for the whole family.

This sleigh ride was wonderful. Our guide was kind, friendly, knowledgeable and interactive. The horses were a delight. There was an issue with my booking and the staff went out of the way to make accommodations for my family who drove an hour to get there. The hot chocolate and fire pit were absolutely delightful. This was a top-notch experience with excellent customer service and amazing views.

Nowhere Pizza & Pub, formerly known as Lakeside Pizza and Pub, is situated by Keystone Lake and offers a great location to enjoy some delicious pizza. With a small selection of reasonably priced beers and ciders, it's the perfect spot to relax on the patio and take in the views. Open only on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, this place is worth planning for. Visitors have mixed reviews about their pizzas but generally find them good.
The best pizza! We were so lucky to have Nowhere pizza available during mud season. Dined in once (James was a great waiter/bartender) and ordered to go the next day. Pizza is fresh and comes out quick. It was so yummy we had to bring some home!

I came during "mud season" for a conference and I really truly enjoyed my visit. The pizza was pretty great, I had a 12" sausage and mushroom pizza. (It has a name, I don't remember it) And a pint of beer. Only one bartender but she was very attentive and on point. Prices were just right, great atmosphere and great service. I'll definitely be back.

We loved eating here during our stay at Lakeside Village! The waitress was super friendly & helpful, did a great job catering to our kids. Pizza was awesome - lots of fun topping options.
Rachel S — Google review
The lady who served me was excellent, super friendly and professional. The food however was so so so bad. For a pub that has the word pizza in the name you’d think they could do a half decent job of it. I ordered take out, 12” pizza with a side of truffle parm tots. Pizza was not 12” wide and tasted like a frozen one from the grocery store. The tots were plain, with no seasoning on at all and were not truffle parm. Save yourself the trouble and money and just buy pizza from the grocery store. It will taste as good as, if not better.
Steven R — Google review
We ordered a pizza and parmasan truffle tots and really enjoyed both. The crust on the pizza was the perfect mix between a thin and thick crust where the outside was nice and crispy but it was soft in the middle. My husband said it was the best crust he'd ever had.

Buffalo chicken pizza and Caesar salad with chicken are pictured. Lots of seating options and all the options we ordered were amazing. Highly recommend this place.

Hey all… I did a dine-in and takeout combo. Sat at the bar, bartender/server/km/everything did a great job. James,I believe, thank you. Great concept, love the menu, craft brew cans a pulse. I took advantage and got a nice honey wheat six pack for the room. Pizzas were excellent, potato skins were almost great. Y’all gotta invest in a double basket fryer if you’re gonna run skins like that. Don’t expect back of house to cook frozen skins in a pizza oven in less than 15 minutes. Also, get your boy running front some help. Love this place, hope it’s better next time.
Paul S — Google review
Nowhere Pizza is hands-down one of my new favorite spots! The ingredients are always fresh, the pizzas are top-notch, and the wings are honestly some of the best I’ve ever had — meaty, flavorful, and cooked perfectly every time. The service is amazing and the atmosphere is laid-back but fun, the kind of place you actually want to hang out at. Huge shout-out to Audrey and Jeff — they’re awesome and make the experience even better. If you want great food, great people, and a place that always delivers, Nowhere Pizza is the spot.

Located in Breckenridge, it's a popular spot for locals seeking genuine Vietnamese flavors.
The Pho was incredible. Worth the hour drive. Definitely will return next time. Loved sitting on the deck. Boba was delicious. Shout out to Shaggy. She was awesome.

We pop in for quick comfort food the day we arrived at Breckenridge. This small joint is really casual and plain decor. You place the order and pay first at the counter, they will bring the food to your table. Our Pho came out pretty fast, it was very salty tho in my opinion. One thing I found distasteful is that they added service charge automatically on you bill without telling you, when you pay the machine still ask you to tip. So be aware of it and not to double tips!!!

I recently stopped in for some noodles during Oktoberfest! Boy was I amazed! The amount of food and service for the price point was amazing. The broth was flavorful and all the veggies were fresh. The staff was also very attentive and friendly! Can't wait to come back this winter!

Very friendly staff, except for the owner. Condescending and gives dirty looks as customers walk in. Sorry we walked in to your restaurant? Anyways, ordered a beef rice bowl. There was more rice than anything else, beef had maybe 2-3 bites at most. Banh mi was good, lots of flavor to it, bread was soft, would recommend it. Edit: they are more concerned whether it was the owner or not lol

You got sore knees, cold fingers and super tried from coming down the mountain multiple times. You’re craving some warm soup and food to feel better and regain just enough energy so you can drive to your bed. Get in! Got the Pho with all the toppings and beef as protein. Also got some of the steamed buns which were phonomenal. Good food PhoReal.

Place isn’t good. You’re better off skipping on pho. Service is extremely slow. Dirty plates left all over the tables. I saw receipts from two hours prior to our service, on the table. Food was mediocre. Felt like server was hiding from guests. Highly understaffed. Me and many other customers had to get up and get the server to take our money. Even paying for the food was a mess. It’s the first restaurant in Breckenridge that disappointed me.

Cold snowy day and pho sounded great. It was good, albeit a wee bit salty. My partner ordered rice bowl that ended up way too spicy. The real issue is that a 15% service charge was added WITHOUT NOTICE. Only when the bill came up looking super high did I ask to see the details again and I noticed a service charge. Now the option to tip another 15, so, or 25% still comes up! And this place does not offer table service. Only counter. All in all, avoid.

Pho Real is such a great (and casual) Vietnamese spot off Main Street in Breckenridge. Especially on a cold snowy day whether you are skiing/snowboarding or just walking around town. They have great prices for being in Breck, and everything comes out hot and fresh. Get the rare steak Pho and the spring rolls when you go. Also there's a phenomenal dessert place next door (waffles/churros/donuts) called Mimi & Pin that you definitely need to check out as well. They have great iced coffee there too.

Cala Pub and Restaurant is a casual local bar with a laid-back atmosphere, offering foosball, arcade machines, and a selection of Celtic drinks. The wait staff is friendly and helpful, providing excellent service. The patio offers a relaxing outdoor space to enjoy drinks and food. The menu features Irish pub classics like fish and chips, with some dishes being described as tasty but not overly spicy. Guests can order at the bar and find seating inside or outside.
Beyond thrilled we stumbled upon this delightful restaurant after playing disc golf in Dillon. I will say on Google they advertise as having arcades and football, but they don’t. Our kids were a little bummed, but their amazing patio, awesome service and delicious food made up for it. Some locals told me this is the place to go. Their salmon sandwich is to die for. Scotch eggs are a must order. Everything we tried was amazing! Definitely coming back here someday soon. Thanks for a great lunch!

We love coming here when we're in the area, it's so nice inside or on the patio. Great food, excellent beer, friendly staff, and a super cool location. The view of Lake Dillon from the patio is lovely!

We really enjoyed our meal here! The food was absolutely delicious and it was a fun atmosphere with indoor and outdoor seating. Be aware that you have to order at the bar, so it's not a sit-down and be waited on kind of place. Staff was friendly and the food came quickly. Definitely recommend you check this resturaunt out if you're in town!

Folks… the summer cocktail list of off the chain! It’s sooooo good and they are donating $1 per cocktail sold through August on the strawberry lemonade to the summit county pet food pantry. Way to enjoy a drink and do good things! Had the sloppy Italian beef hero and it was tasty. Partner always loves some fish and chips dunked in a bottle of malt vinegar. Make sure to order at the bar! Enjoy the mountain vibes. Dog friendly seating (with a water bowl) outside at small tables for 2.

Food was wonderful. Best French onion soup I have had. One of the best Irish bread puddings we have had as we like to try any bread puddings we can find on a menu. And if course an Irish pub needs a good Ruben. And they came through it was delicious. Loved the Irish bar and local people good atmosphere. Beer was great too. It was order at bar and seat yourself.

Great local pub. Wonderful food. Laid back atmosphere but a great place for a filling tasty meal and drinks. A Dillon staple that locals love and tourists can enjoy during their visit. We loved it. Dillon residents most of the year. B.Wolfe

Food was decent - not good, yet not terrible. Drink selection was good. The wait staff were friendly. Nice atmosphere for an Irish pub and fairly convenient location along a main road, while also being away from the more touristy areas.
