I came in with my husband for dinner and we had great service. The staff was very friendly and the menu was very varied. My two concerns the cheese curds were cheddar and it was not noted on the menu so my husband did not help me eat them which sucked as I didn’t want to eat them all by myself. The other issue was the cost of a pup cup was two dollars. Now two dollars isn’t that bad but when you compare it to multiple other businesses such as scooters coffee where it’s a dollar or Dairy Queen where it’s free or $.50 two dollars for one single pup cup is a lot especially if you have two dogs. My burger was very flavorful very juicy, but I did have tomato and onion added, which were an extra cost but it was about $.25 each which wasn’t bad. Overall, it is a pretty cool place and I would love to come back. I just would not get pup cups for my dogs. It would be better for me to get a full on cone get an empty cup and just take off part of my cone for them.

Busy, but so worth the wait. Got a table quickly. Service was fast and friendly. Food was delicious. Large portions. Wait staff was very friendly. Clean. Has a mini golf on property. Taylor's Falls is a busy town.

The Drive In Restaurant is a classic burger, fries, and malt spot. They have a giant spinning root beer mug that greets you immediately. They have numerous tables outdoors that have a view of a water feature as well as a mini golf course. The service workers are busy and work hard to support you. I was able to taste a bacon cheeseburger and fries, as well as a strawberry malt. I really enjoyed the bacon on the cheeseburger and the fluffy bun. The fries could use some more seasoning to make them more enjoyable.

I had a root beer float and crinkle fries because I read about how famous their root beer is. The root beer is made in house and it's really really good. Possibly the best root beer I've ever had. The atmosphere was very cute and retro, and there's a counter and some picnic tables you can sit at if you don't want to eat in your car. They were very busy when I was there, and I imagine they're like that all summer.

It took around 15 minutes or so before we got any water after being seated, but everyone was hustling, and when the waitress came for our order, she was very nice and accommodating to our kids. The food is pretty average, but the environment was nice. My wife enjoyed her burger, but my son and I didn't care for the taste of the meat. I can't quite place what it was, seasoning maybe, but I didn't like the flavor. We also had the cheese curds, which were good. The malts were excellent and I enjoyed the homemade rootbeer, I just wished it came in one of those frosty mugs ;) Another perk was if you got a kids meal, you got a 2 for 1 on minigolf! Also, be aware that if you're using a credit card, there is a 4.9% fee.

What a great place! We stopped here after a hike at the Wisconsin interstate Trail. I've never been here and wasn't sure about stopping cause they were sooo busy (there was going to be a parade we didn't know about) and we all worked up a hunger on our hike. Anyway, the service and the food was AWESOME 😎!!! We had to wait for a table (about 10 minutes) and then we were given menus and our order was taken right away. We didn't wait long for our food considering how busy they were, about 15-20 minutes. The food was 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟+ We definitely didn't leave hungry and the price was fitting for the service and food. I'll definitely be going back when I get a chance. Also, we didn't get a chance (due to time) but I saw lots of people enjoying the mini golf they had there. Going to try that when I go back.

What a fun place! You can either drive in and get carbide service to eat in your vehicle or park on the street and walk in to the restaurant area and sit outdoors. We walked in and checked in with the hostess to get our name on the waitlist. We got there right around 5:00pm on a Sunday. We waited for about 15 minutes to be seated (party of 2 adults). Our order was taken shortly after that. Drinks came within 15 minutes or so with food just minutes later. We enjoyed the atmosphere and music. The food was excellent with juicy burgers and unique root beer. The staff work hard to keep customer service moving quickly.

Stopped in for a cool treat on a warm day. The buildings footprint dates back to 1903 and the nostalgia of the decades past is evident in every corner. There are several receivers and record players behind the bar. Some slow jazz played while the pinball machines binged and flapped. A huge selection of ice cream flavors, but I went with the root beer float. My husband got the hot fudge brownie malt. Highly recommend stopping in.

We just got ice cream when we came here, and it was generous portions, but the atmosphere was amazing! It's so cute and there are lots of quarter machines and a few pin ball machines and some little rides for 6y/o and younger. I will definitely be bringing my girls here again, mabey grab some actual food too.

Disappointing. Malts are generously sized but the smallest one is $9.50 + $1.00 credit card charge PLUS tip. That's a lot for a malt. The malt tasted good, but it was grainy from too much malt powder. The outdoor seating area was dirty and completely overgrown. Not enough shade, tables need repaint, outdoor area needs weed whacking and landscaping. Also no bathrooms. I wanted to love this place, and I may come back, but I was disappointed.

We were not impressed with this place. The cheese pizza slices were below average and tasted like they had been sitting there for a while. And although the slices were big, their quality did not justify the price. The malts we had were alright, but they only came in a large size, which was too much. We were also not fans of the decor. I understand it’s meant to feel and look vintage, which is not our style, but if you’re into that, you may enjoy the interior decorations. Finally, the hours of operation differed from what we saw on Google Maps. We could not find a website or phone number to confirm the hours. In my opinion, pretty much every business should have a site and number this day and age that a customer can easily look up.

Favorite place to visit in Taylor's Falls. Beautiful vintage hifi, great pizza and ice cream. A great childhood experience

What a great little place that's very busy. I had a banana milkshake that almost tasted like banana pudding it was so rich. Best one I have had in years. There were only two gentlemen working but they had a system and they got through the line quickly. What a great little find on my adventure.

If you are in the area for an old school feel of a malt/soda shop, this is the place to stop. Multiple flavors of ice cream and employees were very helpful right away.

This is a great relaxing boat tour. From the moment of arrival we were greeted with friendliness. During the boat tour the narrator has some good jokes and bits of historical information. We saw a beautiful bald eagle - which,apparently, is common to see in this area. If you're coming up this way, it's a great boat tour to join. We would do this boat tour again.

Wonderful boat ride. Great history. So amazing what the glaciers did. Love story about blast island. Saw a couple bald eagles. Would highly recommend. We did the sundown tour.

Bring a jacket and warm clothes. The tour is great, especially in the fall. The boat is roomy and has a bar. There is a small set of bathrooms, if needed. The staff is good. Parking is a little strange, but not hard to figure out. We recommend this tour! A fun way to see the river side of both Wisc and MN, cliffs and dalles.

I had always driven past this place as a kid and always wanted to stop and try it out. Now with my family we finally went it was a great experience. With young kids, I wanted to find something they would love and our two year old LOVED it! There is great seating on the lower deck that is enclosed or on the open upper deck. We went on a Sunday in early June which was a great choice so it was not too busy. There is plenty of space to walk around on the two decks to see all the views so there you’re not out of luck if you don’t get a good seat. A staff remember commentated parts of the trip was great to learn about the interesting landmarks and history of the area. Great experience!

My wife and I are new to the area and were celebrating our anniversary. We felt the price was very reasonable and enjoyed the local history. The crew was engaging and friendly. The ride was quite smoothe. Getting to see the rock formations that named the area was a real highlight.

We did the dueling pianos evening tour. It was so great! Aces & 88’s Dueling Pianos show was funny and so entertaining! Highly recommend doing the musical tour. Having the scenery and fresh river air as the backdrop for the show was awesome!

Really hard to rate the entire Scenic Riverway because it is so vastly long. But the sections I have been to are outstanding. There are numerous state parks and state forests on both sides of the river accompanying the federal land along the river. Overall a great place to boat, kayak, tube, paddle, sightsee, swim and enjoy the scenic river.

Another trip down the Nam! 3 days paddling and camping! What's not to love? So scenic and quiet.

There is a lot to do, and I mean a LOT! To do up and down both sides of the St Croix Scenic Riverway. Been exploring this river and towns my entire life. Had high hopes. Was going to eat across the street when wife spotted this Saturday. Inside is very nice. Waitress seated us, and it was very cold, and I don't get cold easily. My wife went out to get her coat. Got our order taken. Out of soup. They don't serve coke here! Order came and wife's dinner was cold. We split mine as she ate on a napkin. Found the waitress and offered a new meal after we were done. Asked her to take it off our bill. We were leaving. Never knew they had a salid bar till we were leaving. I'm not sure we would come back.

One of my favorite places. My friends and I have been coming here since they opened. The staff is always friendly and attentive. Drinks are cheap and the food is great.

It was a late evening for us-so we were hungry but didn’t want to fill up on fries/carbs. The menu had “senior” meals-which were perfect for us! Loved the grilled salmon!

We stopped for drinks. I don't drink alcohol anymore, so while my boyfriend had his beer, I had a fruity mocktail called a 'Frickin' Awesome'. I can't remember exactly what was in it. Cherries and Starry and a couple of other ingredients, but it's so nice to be able to have a special drink when we go out instead of the same old pop I drink at home.

Food is typically poor, chicken wild rice soup is disgusting, burgers are mediocre at best, pizza is alright. Service is good. Bloodys can be pretty good if you get the right bartender. Atmosphere is nice. I won't be back for the food unless something major changes.

Almost missed this place—it’s tucked in the corner with a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it sign! Stopped in for takeout and ordered an 11” Spicy Pig pizza and a half order of garlic wings. Staff was friendly and quick—my order was out in about 15 minutes. Wings were just okay—cooked well but light on flavor, and I only got drums 😩. Giving those a 3/5, but I’ll try a different flavor next time. Now the Spicy Pig? 5 stars, easy. Super cheesy (in the best way), brick oven crust with a nice char, and a spicy kick from fresh jalapeños and habanero. Loaded with sausage, bacon, and cheddar—total flavor bomb. Not many spots around here, but this one’s officially my go-to for pizza!

My experience here I'd say has Improved from my last visit! The staff are really friendly, great cozy atmosphere, service was quick. The food selection was aplenty, but I'd say the food was okay. The crust was probably my biggest complaint for not really keeping its structure with the toppings on top. But overall, I loved the experience and the food I would say was acceptable with some minor adjustments.

Wow!! One of the best pizzas I have had in my life! We were camping in Taylor falls for a few days and ordered twice, we couldn’t get enough

The food was very mid. Even though the sauce on the wings were good, the chicken was cold in the middle, but it was cooked through, meaning, they likely reheated them in a microwave and then put sauce on them. Extremely disappointing. The up side is that the atmosphere and employees are nice! Though, the employees should work on food safety more. If they don't reheat chicken the. That would mean they gave uncooked chicken, which I could have gotten very ill from.

Unexpected and great find! I was staying at hotel nearby and just hoping to find a quick dinner to go so went to nearest restaurant. The smells are amazing with the brick fired chicken and pizza. Menu had creative and interesting flavors. Loved the atmosphere! I got the bone in maple bourbon wings. They were extremely flavorful but not overpowering or too spicy. They were juicy yet crispy. The pizza was amazing! Got summer time 6" pizza with the most amazing! Loved the teriyaki sauce, chicken, balsamic drizzle and cilantro. I would highly recommend!

Wow! I didn’t know pizza could be this good! Truly an explosion of flavors in your mouth and the most perfect crust. The man that took our order was patient and kind. He took my inquiry about dough ingredients seriously and a woman even brought out the box for me to check for myself as I can’t eat enriched flour. That made my day! While we were dining, the same woman came to my rescue and brought out an array of coloring books and crayons for my toddler daughter the very moment she stated having a meltdown, God bless her!

I’ve never been disappointed here. The pizzas are inventive and fresh. A great and comfortable meeting spot to chat with friends while sharing some yummy food and drinks. The staff has always been friendly and accommodating.

Excellent ribs at Sir Smoke A Lot's BBQ. I had lunch here today for the first time, and they have some of the best ribs I have ever had. Fantastic bark and a very tasty smoke flavor. The BBQ sauce that came on the side was some of the best house made sauce I've had. Coleslaw and smoked mac n cheese sides were great as well. Great customer service. They have tap beer too

Showed up at 4:50 pm for brisket and chicken tenders with my family (wife, aunt, son, grandma) to find out they have no brisket and no chicken tenders. First time coming here so that's a major disappointment to say the least..... As far as the food, well.... Ribs lacked flavor and they were dry and thin, my grandma claimed her chicken was also dry. My macaroni and cheese was bland and flavorless as well. Also pay in cash so you can avoid the 4% credit/debit card transaction fee. Also want to mention that the banana 🍌 pudding was honestly really good. Mac and cheese want able to be finished either. My aunt spit it out.

Really good barbecue. I had a pulled pork sandwich and it came piled high with excellent pulled pork. It was quite generous and had a great flavor. I also ordered a side of fries which were very good as well along with being a good sized portion. I saw some other customers who ordered the ribs which also looked very good. I am anxious to return and try the ribs and some of the other offerings. Prices were quite reasonable and service was prompt. Will definitely stop again on our next visit!

Went here with my family on Sept 20th to take a break during my birthday fishing trip with my family on the St.Croix, we all agreed BBQ sounded good to us so we went here. The food was delicious and what little time we had to wait we talked with the extremely friendly staff who seemed to enjoy the conversation just as we did. I had Mac and Cheese with ribs and it was delicious! Definitely a place ya gotta try if ur exploring the St.Croix

We had them cater our wedding on 8/23/25 and wow! Food was so great! All the guests raved about it and said it was so good and so much flavor! The kids obviously loved the smoked Mac n cheese! I myself having celiac (sever gluten allergy) could eat everything except the bun and the Mac n cheese and it was all delicious! They were so kind and felt like we have known them forever. We could not have asked for better service and better food! Thank you Sir smoked a lot it was amazing!

Local BBQ place serving all the fixin's. Fair price good portions and smiling staff. With options of bbq staples. The pulled pork was very tasty and so we're their sides like the cheesed mashed potatoes and banana pudding. Makes you wanna come back for sure.

This place has the worst ribs I have ever had! I ordered a 6 piece and it was super dry and flavorless. 3 of the ribs were so thin, it was like eating jerky! The hush puppies have zero flavor, and the coleslaw tastes like you are eating a plain head of cabbage. I should have saved the $80.00 and bought pre-made ribs from the grocery store. Others in my group ordered the same ribs and were also disappointed.

We hiked to Be Wild Burgers from the north campground at Interstate State Park. It was a quick 10-minute hike using the Ladder Tank Trail. My partner had the steak house burger with tots. I had the pickle burger. Both burgers were grilled perfectly and were tasty and juicy. The only seating is outdoors, although there was plenty of seating, and we were happy to eat outside, enjoying the sun and the views.

Outstanding smashies! Not fast food as their sign says, just fresh and tasty. Fries are great too! And if that weren’t enough already, there’s beer! Not dine-in, but there are shady (as in cool) picnic tables a plenty. Wish they were open more days and times, but I can adjust my schedule accordingly! :)

Oh my goddddddd. I would do a lot for a burger from this place, like drive over an hour after seeing someone post about the amazing smash burgers a long time ago. I finally took the time to make the drive, go hiking, stop at Franconia sculpture garden, and had an amazing day. These burgers are worth the drive and were honestly very reasonably priced. The best smash burger I’ve had in foreverrrrrr. The fried pickles were amazing too, just wow. Service was great, loved the outdoor seating in the back since it’s a walk up type place, I will definitely return during another day trip. Just heavenlyyyyyyyy.

Love the burgers from this restaurant. Locally owned and worth any potential wait. I’ll go here over the drive in any day. It would be nice to have a few vegetarian options that aren’t just a black bean burger. We make beet burgers at home as well as carrot mushroom burgers and those are delightful bean free options that might fit the be wild brand.

Excellent burgers. Spouse got the bacon cheeseburger and said the bacon actually detected from your food the burger was. I got the Burger of the Month, a spiced pork patty, and it was delicious! The staff was super nice. There is nowhere to eat inside and the restroom is a porta potty but don't let that deter you. We ate outside at tables under an awning and it was a lovely meal. Would happily stop by again.

Mushroom and Swiss Burger was juicy, homemade, and the onion rings took me back in time. Crunchy and delicious. Wait time was minimal, as everything is freshly cooked. Service was good. They only have a limited menu, no inside seating, but the food was really good.

Great toppings had the crust cooked extra and for me it was perfect my son had one regular and it was done great as well. They make a good pie!

Tried Pizza Man on a recommendation from Billy's tobacco and it did not disappoint! The pizza was top-notch and great crust perfect cheese to sauce ratio packed with flavor. you can tell they use quality ingredients definitely a spot worth checking out if you're craving some great pizza thank you Billy for telling us about this place!

Tried the new location and the pizza was really great! My first time for Pizza Man. we live in the Metro and have our pick of any pizzas, and this one was right up there! This is a takeout place and it is very bare bones. It isn't meant to have nice ambiance, so I didn't ding them on atmosphere. Friendly staff! I hung out with them for a while I waited for my order (they were on time, I had just arrived early).

We came here while on vacation. They have amazing pizza with excellent service. I highly recommend the Pizza!

Love this place!! We go here yearly, more than once usually. Great for families, dates, or girls day out. The wider clear paths is much more handicap accessible and the new buildings are very nicely setup. Highly recommend Bonus.... 1st time I had Canadian Geese (3) eat directly from my hand!!

Such a great place to visit when you are in the area. The amount of wildlife to engage with us awesome. The kids get to be up close and personal with deer and many others. There have been a lot of really nice updates to the place over the years. The food trucks outside are also a great way to grab a treat with the kids after for the drive home.

HIGHLY recommend the party events here. Had my daughter’s 5th birthday party here today (VIP Adventure Package) and had an all around great experience. Staff was great, very attentive, and truly cared about making sure my daughter had the best birthday (Shout out to Amanda, our host for the day). My daughter got to see/pet/hold all of the animals that she wanted to.

So much fun we try to go every year but been a few since we been. They have done a lot of updating and lots of fun new exhibits. They do amazing job to keep things clean and fun for the family. I definitely recommend this place for the family day, date night or just yourself!

I really liked how clean the little zoo/ animal park was. The staff are lovely. My concern is they're selling food to everyone that walks through the door and some of the animals are being forcefed or overeating and don't look super healthy. I feel like there should be a cap on all the food that is being brought to these animals that are in captivity. Great family. Interactive experience but I would probably knowing now having been there. Never buy food again

It was very fun for my little boy, but I wish there was something a bit more educational to go along with a visit. I'm sure they have that for groups or schools, but not for single families. A guide or brochure would have been great. Overall a fun day.

We visited today 09-01-2025. We had a great time. There's been improvements on the walking trails I've noticed since our last visit. Plenty of well fed looking animals to see and pet. The only concern we had was one of the badgers today was pacing around in the enclosure. At each corner, he'd arch his back up then scurry off around to the next corner. Hopefully he's been evaluated and isn't experiencing a medical issue. Plenty of restrooms around and wash stations. Benches and swings throughout the grounds. The family who owns this facility cares about the animals and grounds. It shows.

We were looking for something to do on a rainy day while camping in Hudson. This place was so worth the drive! Everyone was helpful and welcoming. Dawn took great care of us, she was very personable and had good suggestions . As far as the wine goes, there was a lengthy list of fantastic options. We especially loved their specialty wines! The setting is also gorgeous. We will be back next time we're in the area!

The food pairing was a very nice touch! Good variety of white, red and port wines to try. Beautiful patio & venue. Let's just we came home with a case of wine & a wine club member.

The winery is beautiful, the wine was very good and the food was very tasty. Everything was reasonably priced. We were going to visit another winery but because Sue was so helpful and fun we decided to stay. So glad we did. Definitely will be back!!

Good, robust Americano (4 shots of espresso in a large Americano). Cozy indoor and outdoor space, but some weird wall art. Only one food option (a breakfast roll - mix between croissant & cinnamon roll, either cinnamon or raspberry, but good).

Great coffee spot! I loved watching the barista carefully weigh the beans and time the shot — it set the tone for an excellent espresso experience. And it truly was some of the best espresso I’ve ever had. The shop has a cute, welcoming atmosphere and a wide variety of flavor options, though honestly, the espresso is so good you don’t even need to add anything to it. When we visited, the line was to the door and it took about 25 minutes to get our drinks. There was just one employee at the counter, but they were working as quickly and efficiently as possible. Given the quality of the coffee, the wait felt completely reasonable.

We stopped at Coffee Talk for a quick drink while it was raining out. We had some hot tea and a muffin and watched the rain 🌧 through the window 🪟. Can you get more cozy and relaxed? Overall, it was a brief but pleasant experience. I want to stop here anytime we are passing through Taylor's Falls.

I really enjoy the atmosphere here. The coffee is very good (maybe excellent), and people are generally cheery. It's a great place to get away from the home office.

Great little coffee shop! Highly recommend stopping here for your morning fix. We tried several different specialty coffees and they were all very good. The flavors are original without being over the top, more of a subtle blend that hints at the idea rather than overpowering it. We loved it and would definitely recommend checking this place out.

Everything about Coffee Talk is splendid! The vibes and service alike are immaculate! My favorite local coffee spot! As an added bonus, it's right near all these cute local shops and by Interstate park! Definitely stop by if you are out on the town :) Also, they support their local artists!

Stopped in for a couple of coffees and they were decent. Not the best turtle we’ve had but it sure beats gas station coffee. The service was good and the old house is pretty cool. There are a lot of older pictures of town history which is nice.

My husband and I went to Big Rock with some friends for the music and 4th of July fireworks. The music was phenomenal and the fireworks were absolutely fantastic! There were food trucks in case we got hungry and great margaritas! We had a great time and plan to go back next year!

I would highly recommend Big Rock Creek if you are looking for a rustic, barn wedding. The venue itself was beautiful and although it rained the morning of our wedding and we weren’t able to have the ceremony outside, we were able to make the bottom level of the barn worked for our ceremony. The venue’s animals were a hit with the guests during cocktail hour and after the reception. They also ended up having a slip and slide and bounce house that some of my little cousins used. They had a blast and definitely burned some extra energy. They had a list of preferred vendors and I would highly recommend Deutschland’s pasta bar - all of our guests were obsessed with the Italian sausage that they make homemade. We also used Complete Wedding for our DJ and Photo which worked well as they already knew the venue. We would also highly recommend pizza for a late night snack. For us it was $30 per pizza which is hefty but they tasted AMAZING so it was totally worth it. As far as logistics go, we had a 200 person wedding and for every extra 10 people over 200 they would charge an extra $100. So we made sure to stick to 200 people. We needed wedding insurance as well a $1,500 damage deposit. I think 200 was the perfect amount. We declined renting any of the permanent structures as those costed quite a bit but did rent campsites which was so fun! The groomsmen went up the night before to camp and hangout around the bonfires and then the rest of the wedding party and some family members stayed the night of the wedding. The staff was very communicative, and flexible as we waited to the last minute to decide to do an inside vs outside ceremony because of the weather. Barb the day of host was GREAT! Shauna was prompt in all of her communication and was very positive and supportive. The bartenders were also so fun and kept up with the orders all night. They have a getting ready room for the girls which was definitely busy (10 people getting ready) but had enough room for everyone. No room for the men so we sent them to get breakfast and then they changed/ got ready in the upstairs bathrooms that are big which worked just fine (but would be nice if they had their own space).

Our wedding at Big Rock Creek was an absolute dream come true! The venue is gorgeous—our guests couldn’t stop raving about the breathtaking scenery and the peaceful, natural beauty of the property. From the picturesque lake to the charming animals and open spaces, it was like stepping into a fairytale. There was truly something for everyone to enjoy. Guests walked the trails, visited the animals, played yard games, cozied up by the bonfire, and even enjoyed a wagon ride and live music. It wasn’t just a wedding—it was an unforgettable experience for all ages! We chose the platinum package, which included full-weekend lodging for our families. It was the perfect way to bring everyone together and start our new chapter. We even stayed an extra day to soak in the peaceful surroundings and were lucky enough to see deer, swans, eagles—and even a bear! The staff at Big Rock Creek was phenomenal—so friendly, responsive, and accommodating every step of the way. From setup to send-off, everything ran smoothly thanks to their support and care. We couldn’t have asked for a more magical place to say “I do.” Thank you, Big Rock Creek, for making our wedding weekend absolutely unforgettable!

I have guarded feelings about being so honest about this place.. for my own selfish reasons..... This place and their family and employees could not be more impressive. So kind, so welcoming, so helpful. The accommodations were top notch and the property was gorgeous. Ken and Kris were excellent hosts and Ben was always available to help. Great property and lots of fun. My fav bartender was just a doll. I called her “Gabby” but not her real name. Marsha was excellent at welcoming us in. I want to keep this a secret as I sincerely adore being there and want it to be available when I want to go. Thanks to everyone for the welcoming stay. We loved it and will be back soon

The place is honestly pretty dang cool. A different experience of camping for sure. Kayaks, canoes, and paddle boards are all included with your stay. All the owners we talked to were super friendly. I would have given 5 stars but due to them having no dumping station was a bit of an inconvenience for us. We had to pay an additional fee somewhere else to dump it.

Did a fabulous job hosting the 4th of July celebrations! Places to improve would be food trucks. More trucks, waiting time for pizza was outrageous with poor staff. Other choice was bbq but sold out leaving pizza as only option. Music was good but parents with small kids waiting for food didn't seem to enjoy the loud music while wrangling hungry kids

If you’re coming here on 4 July, the slip and slide does not have tubes and it does not go into the lake like it shows on the ad. They say they’re handicap accessible, but the roads are not wheelchair friendly they’re all rocky and they don’t want you driving a car around. I will add more at the end of my weekend here.

I’ve eaten here many times and the food is always delicious. That being said, I was disappointed by the attire or some of the staff. Kids wearing sweatpants to work ? Hard no. My only other concern, is the gal making the food used the same scoop for 3 different items. Probably should be using separate utensils for any cross contamination

First time visit. My wife and I were SHOCKED at the high quality food. Delicious and very reasonable. Clean and the staff are wonderful! I will make Poco Loco a regular on date night and when visitors stay we will take them here. ITS THAT GOOD!

Fast hot food. I'd call it a slightly more appealing than Chipotle, better meny options. Place was clean and the staff was friendly. Really hungry? Get a double wrapped burrito! Was bigger than my calves. My only critique was i never said to go so they boxed up the cinnamon sugar ice cream bowl and it was broken by the time they brought it to my table

Brought the family and tried the taco, burrito, quesadilla, & the chips with pico & queso. As an adult who has a history with Chipotle & Qdoba--I could NOT finish the burrito here!! The chips are homemade and thicker than the homemade chips at home either of the chains, in the best possible way! The quesadilla was very yummy. Excited to try the taco salad and a burrito bowl! Saw a shelf of hard shell tacos after I had ordered my burrito, had I seen them earlier I would have gotten them instead as they are made in house and look amazing!! Be sure to try the aoli--SO good!

Very clean and well put together staff. Kitchen is in the open mashing avocados fresh and such. Barbacoa is the only meat I've had because it's so good I've never wanted to get anything else. Never ate in the restaurant, but the take out is great.

Love their food!! They have got chipotle beat, hands down!! Staff is very friendly!! Great value! Portions are huge!

The Vegetarian is a mom & pop, hole in the wall totally worth visiting. The couple who own the joint are charming and lovely and lively, and they’re running their business in the way that works best for them. The food was served quickly and it was outstanding, every bite exploding with flavor. The food will be served with plastic silverware, paper plates, in takeout containers. Their focus is outstanding food, not doing dishes or fancy renovations. I hope this restaurant is around for years to come, and if I lived in the area I’d be there more often than I’m willing to admit. I can’t wait to get back as I have plans to order my way through the menu as quickly as possible. If I could cook like Ashok I would be vegetarian - his food changed my life. We ordered the taster sampler, kadahi mushroom mutter, garlic naan and masala chai.

Seriously the best Indian food I have had to date. The samosa were amazing, and had a nice heat to them. The veggie pakora were a neat treat, with different types of veggies. Aloo Gobi was my favorite dish; it was simply superb. Staff were super friendly and welcoming. Will definitely go again!

I'm not familiar with Indian food. The owner helped me pick out an appetizer & entree. He even borrowed me his glasses so I could look at the menu! Both dishes were incredible! Great flavor! The rice it came with, spectacular! Portions were large. I will diffenately be back to try more dishes. I highly recommend!

Hands down the best spot to eat on either side of the river, and some of the best ethnic food bar none! We will be returning for more fantastic food next time were in town.

This was our first time at The Vegetarian, so we were somewhat skeptical about what to expect since the place is so small and there were no other customers when we arrived at what we considered to be dinner time. However, we were warmly greeted by the owner and made to feel quite welcome. Since we were unfamiliar with the menu, we asked (Ashok) for suggestions. We decided on the Vegetarian Samosa appetizer, and our entrees were the Avial and Eggplant Marsala, along with Basmati rice and Garlic Naan bread After waiting just about 10 minutes, our Samosa’s were served along with 2 sauces and they were quite delicious. Then came our entrees. EVERYTHING WAS AWESOME! Flavorful, fresh and delicious. We were very happy with our meal, so WE’LL DEFINITELY. BE BACK. It was well worth the 45 minute drive. I love Indian food and I'm vegetarian so t was excited to see this as an option while in town for the day. I called in small a take out order consisting of vegetable pakora and paneer pakora. They were almost inedible. The paneer was super dry and kind of greasy not like any paneer I have had before. The vegetable pakora was two round slices of potato and some tiny hunks of onion and two balls of idk what it seemed kind of like a hush puppy but no discernable vegetables. The batter on both was very heavy handed. The restaurant seemed very dirty and the man who made my food and rung it up stroked his beard no stop while ringing me up.

Our camping group, Camping in Uranus had a road trip to Montana from Indiana. This was our first stop. Nice place to camp. Bathrooms were decently clean. Our site was a little small but I’m sure we got one of the last few so we made it work. The hiking trails are pretty cool. I liked the pothole trail. The lookout is amazing. The potholes are interesting at least. They have a ferry on the other side I would like to try out sometime. Enjoyed the little time I spent here. I would come back again.

This is one of the most beautiful parks we've stayed at. Our site was fairly private with a beautiful view. No water hookups at the site, so we had to fill our fresh water tank, but that was a rookie mistake on our part. They have a fill station, so it wasn't a big deal. We really enjoyed our time, and will definitely camp here again.

Probably top 3 prettiest WI state parks that we have visited. Beautiful views of the river and gorge from multiple trails. Walking through the rock formations was fun for us and the dog. Loved it!

We had a great experience camping at interstate park. We had an electric site for our travel trailer. Office was extremely friendly. Water, showers and toilet was off due to late in season.but the outhouse were clean and stocked. Our site was exceptional with a slite grade to it. Under tree cover. Plenty wide and deep. Our son is disables and we went on a loop trail that was difficult for a small scooter. But really that's why we went... We had more fun getting unstuck from roots rocks and soft soil. Our scooter wasn't designed for what we were doing! Lol we even got stuck in some wet leaves. Bottom line the vews were extraordinary! Accomodations excellent including the fire pits being placed in great location! Will be back... With a more appropriate scooter. Thank you to the staff! You guys helped us out immensely with all the questions we had!

We came here during labor day weekend and what a beautiful place to hike, the terrain was rough at times, but we took it as a challenge, hiked both ways. We stoped Taylor falls boat launch for pizza, to refuel us for the hike back. We enjoyed our stay there. Anyone looking for a great place to relax and take in a beautiful waterfall, go to Willow River state park in Wisconsin where you’ll find an amazing willow Falls . The steep path leading to it is worth the jaunt.

Great Time! I hiked over from the Minnesota side of Interstate State Park. The River trail meets up where the Glacier Potholes are. I loved scrambling on the rocks and the views of the St. Croix River. You can take the River Trail across the bridge to the Minnesota side if you want to launch a kayak or a canoe. There is more hiking available in the Dalles of St. Croix. I did not do that hike but it looked amazing so I will have to try it next time I am in the area.

A couple of my friends and I camped here for one night while passing through Wisconsin. We only hiked a little, but enjoyed the areas we saw. There were trails not far from our campsite. No issues with anything at the campground.

i make a lot of jewelry and various wire/chain/bead projects. this is the best store for supplies i’ve ever visited!! they had an enormous selection of beads & other findings. their wire & chain selection was really unique and beautiful. we swung by on our way out of town quick because i never pass up a bead store, and we will be making a trip back to this area to visit this store and spend a lot longer in here shopping! 15/5 stars!!

I stopped in on my way back from Wisconsin and wasn’t planning on buying anything but I did and can’t wait to come back! The person who was working was so kind and helpful, I wish there was a online store because I would love to only buy from them with how they treated me and everyone else that was there that day!! 929/25 1:20pm. My wife's favorite place to look around in and buy a couple things. We drove to Taylor Falls just to primarily go there. So much merchandise in there and rocks and jewelry craft items a little bit of Indian stuff and it is completely packed. Downstairs is like a garage sale type atmosphere and I don't know how that's put together but there's old fishing lures for sale, tools, Antiques and just a wide variety of products to look at or purchase. It's not really a place for misbehaving children as there's so much in there and limited space to get around because of that. Parking is on the street or across the street there's a park and ride that you don't have to pay to park in and easy walking distance to the downtown area businesses.

Such an awesome shop if you enjoy jewelry making or just love rocks and unique gifts! Very reasonable pricing! We visit often.

Stopped here on a road trip since we like crafts. They have rocks, crystals, fossils, upcycled stuff, and jewelry making supplies!! Prices for rocks are refreshingly cheap. Highly recommend a stop!! Heavy incense smell.

What a peaceful and calming environment. This store provides eye-opening fossils, stones, local artists' jewelry & so so much more! I love it so much I took a job working here haha. So much fun :)

We took the tour on a whim having heard about the house after taking the boat tour and we're definitely not disappointed! The beautifully kept house is easy to find. The volunteers are quite knowledgeable and have done their research on this one! Great tour!

The Folsom House is one of the better small historic sites that I have visited anywhere. The Tour is excellent, packed with Minnesota and Wisconsin frontier lore and artifacts. The site is exceedingly well preserved. Definitely worth your stop!

This was a huge surprise, unplanned and delightful.. The house was built in the 1850's and it remains in great shape today.. The William Folsom story is really intesting.. He had quite a life.. The "Tour Guide" whose name I can't remember, was wonderful, intesting, well informed and friendly.. Our visit to the House museum was the highlight of our day trip to Taylor's Falls.. a wonderful and unexpected surprise I recommend the tour to all

From the moment I walked in the door I was so impressed! The host on a Saturday night was a tall man, so charismatic— so good at his job!! He made the experience magical— we had a fabulous server and everything we tried was a serious 10/10!! We started with calamari (best calamari I’ve ever had), finished with salads, delicious pop overs, a ribeye cooked to perfection paired with deep fried jumbo shrimp and a side of mushrooms for my steak. Absolutely divine dining at the Dallas House on a Saturday night!

Everything was better than I expected. The service, the selection, the overall experience. Atmosphere wasn't awful, would have been nice to have lights outside to see the landscaping, otherwise a stellar dinner! I recommend the duck with a glass of red wine.

This place is a hidden gem. Outstanding food, Service and it’s beautiful. We were in Taylors Falls, which is just across the river for three nights and we ate at this restaurant twice. Unheard of from my husband and I. The prices are really good the food really good And the garden outside is beautiful. I definitely recommend getting to this place. Definitely get the popovers.

My husband and I have been searching for the perfect supper club experience, and finally found it last weekend at Dalles House! Ross is the perfect host who brings classic maitre d energy to his job with enthusiasm rarely seen in this era. Our server, Christian, lived up to his name and treated us like family. Bartenders and other staff clearly love their jobs and are trained to perfection. The food was top notch (enjoyed a perfect steak, beef medallions and sea food accoutrements). The boozy ice cream drinks are supper club perfect—and we even got the “secret” off menu options. Atmosphere is mid-century modern glorious, with a lovely courtyard and attached bar perfect for an after-dinner game of cards. We are bringing our friends and family to experience Dalles House with us soon!

We went to the Dalles House restaurant to celebrate our 21st wedding anniversary on Saturday evening. I have always loved going there. We shared a delicious bottle of wine and both ordered the king cut prime rib with salads for starters and sides of popovers, au gratin potatoes and fresh asparagus with bearnaise sauce. Our server was very friendly and knowledgeable and the food was cooked perfectly and it came very quickly. Such a beautiful dinner and the flavor was to die for! I cannot tell you how much I love this place! I will never tire of going there. We had Brandy Alexanders for dessert and they tasted sooo good. I highly recommend the Dalles House to anyone looking for good, high quality food, reasonable and fair pricing a fun atmosphere with friendly and genuinely nice staff and a beautiful setting overlooking a gorgeous courtyard. The best part is all of the food we got to take home with us to enjoy another delicious meal! Thanks to everyone who made our evening such a wonderful and memorable success.

One of the best supper clubs I have been to. Great waitress, great host, delicious food, drinks and desserts. The popovers are the best!!! We will definitely be back.

The great service started during the phone call to make a reservation. The host (later identified as Ross) was extremely forthright and helpful. They were busy and the earliest dining room reservation was for 8PM, but Ross told me we were more than welcome to come to the Lounge at any time and the entire menu is available there as well. We arrived around 7:30 and were told our table would be ready at 8... it was. In the meantime we ordered drinks at the bar where Adam made us the best Dirty Martini's we've had in a long time. The great service continued when we were sat and our server Christian introduced himself. His knowledge of the menu and what was and wasn't available on that occasion and time, was very helpful. His recommendations were spot on. I had the Duck and my wife had a Filet, and both were fantastic. I would highly recommend this restaurant for the service alone, but they crushed it with the food as well. Ross, Adam, and Christian all clearly care about putting their best foot forward and represent the establishment very well... all of them should be commended.
