Modern casino hotel offering 6 dining options, plus a nightclub & live entertainment.
This hotel & casino is exactly what you would expect for a 3-star hotel. No surprises, clean, and the service was friendly. The food in the restaurant at the Sportsbook was the best part of the stay. They have excellent food! And the Service was awesome, even had a little help from a robot named Bella.

This is the first time leaving a review in the middle of a stay. My husband and I checked in yesterday to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We don’t usually celebrate it, but had a very challenging and hard summer so we found this gem to check out. The hotel is very old timing and charming. One down side to it, you can hear everything !! We are on the back side of the building and you can hear a simple conversation from under the pavilion. The room itself is very clean and cozy. Our cleaners name is Rachel and you can tell she takes pride in her work. As far as the casino goes… we are losing our butts but are having a blast. You can smoke in the casino (we are not smokers) but the ventilation is very good and you hardly notice it. One complaint. When getting food, people in line will light cigarette after cigarette which is gross. Smoking should be prohibited in line for food / where meals are being made. We have one more night and hopefully our luck will change . Will definitely be back
Marissa K — Google review
Nice hotel enjoyed the Hollywood motif, suggestion you can park at the hotel and walk to the casino. It is not as far as some of the reviews would make you think. The room was clean ask for a non-smoking room if you want to avoid the smoke smell that other reviews have indicated. I saw little indication of wear and tear with exception of the front entry. After that the hotel seemed to be clean and well kept. Not bad after a 30 years it is little used now, that is the casino next door given that there are 15 other casinos nearby. This was a reasonable hotel for a good price.
Jon C — Google review
It was a fun place to visit. Rooms were decently clean at hotel. Some helpful staff at casino. Many workers just seemed very unhappy. Heard alot of complaints about having to walk through the smoking area to get to the non smoking at the casino. Whole hotel does smell of smoke though.
Kaytlin V — Google review
This Casino is top of the line..Plenty of room to move around. Slots that pay....parking is plentiful. For a place that allows smoking, the smell is not overbearing. Only down side today was the coffee machine was not operating.
J W — Google review
The Hotel is horrible! We drove over an hour home and all of our clothes smell of the smokey room we received. Note, I reserved a non smoking room, but was advised they didn't have any available when we arrived! The rooms are very old and smell foul. We will never book a room again! Almost $200 for something dated from the 70's and the staff are not friendly! You're truly just a number.
Rick J — Google review
I avoid leaving negative reviews, but this place has 100% lost site of the concept of customer service. I would avoid it at all costs. We booked through booking.com. According to booking.com, after trying to get a refund, all the rooms in this dive are smoking rooms and they are well used...We went to check into the property, got to our rooms and realized they smelled like an ash tray. We went back to the front desk and told the guy there that we were going to leave. He did offer to put us into other rooms, but at that point we decided to just make the drive home since the smell of smoke was pretty much throughout the property. When I asked about a refund I was informed that I would need to call booking.com to do this and so that is what I did...after an hour on hold and calls being dropped twice I was told by booking.com that the refund was being denied by the hotel. I called the hotel and they indicated that there were non-smoking rooms available that night and since we didn't give them a chance to fix it that the refund was being denied. They also went onto tell me that I had booked smoking rooms somehow on booking.com and that I should read the confirmation email more closely. Frustrated would be customer here. Back to Marriott and a brand that actually makes it right when there is an issue.
Caleb A — Google review
I came straight from the airport and they would not let me drop my bag anywhere! Not at the hotel lobby, couldn’t enter with it into the casino, and even the executive staff refused to put it anywhere! This is super frustrating when I ubered 30 minutes away to visit and had to leave almost immediately. Do better, have a luggage drop off option!?

Arch Street Park is a delightful destination for families, especially kids looking to have some fun. With an array of unique play structures and plenty of swings, it offers endless entertainment. The park features soft, cushioned turf that stays cool even on warm days, making it safe for little ones to run around barefoot. Families can enjoy shaded picnic areas and well-maintained basketball courts while relaxing on ample bench seating throughout the park.
Omg! Such a cute park!! Its all new! Super big! The funest swings ever!! Safe! Theres video camreas! Bathrooms! Picnic tables! Water fountains!!

Great park! Tons of different toys for the kids to choose from and not have to fight over, Even when crowded.
Renee S — Google review
My grandson absolutely loved coming here to play. So many wonderful options for the Littles. And the play area is designed for many areas and with those with disabilities in mind. I was very happy it was fenced in and had well maintained restrooms right in the play area.
Sharon B — Google review
Just went to the updated park and it was amazing! All of the structures seemingly are different and have their own unique features. Lots of different features to keep keep kids entertained a while! Also, they had a large amount of swings, a covered area for picnics, and a very well kept basketball court. The attention to detail was pretty cool since the metal structures that kids touched were painted / coated with some sort of ceramic so they stayed cooler in the heat. Really neat!
Alex R — Google review
Tons of swings and nice soft turf! This park is extremely nice. The slide is REALLY tall as well. Plenty of bench seating around the park. Very nice covered tables to sit as well.
Bryan R — Google review
A great park right by the railroad tracks so you can watch trains every now and then. Some of the equipment needs repaired but still plenty to do for the kids.

I Nanny a little 2 yr old, and we love this park. Yesterday, his Mommy left thinking his shoes were in the car, and were not. No worries, the concrete there did not get hot, and it was 85°out. I was concerned. And, of course, the new green, cushioned turf, was soft, cushy, and not hot. What a relief, for this Nanny!😊😎😀

The Captains Tavern is a popular spot in Lawrenceburg, located inside a historic building near the Ohio River. It's known for its wide selection of craft beers that are constantly rotating, making it a great place for beer enthusiasts. The restaurant and bar also offer a variety of wines and cocktails. Customers praise the friendly and welcoming staff, particularly bartender Kelly who is highly skilled at mixing drinks and ensuring guests have an enjoyable experience.
I recently moved to town and decided to check out a local bar, where I had the pleasure of meeting Brittany S. From the moment I walked in, she made me feel right at home. As a newcomer, I was a bit nervous, but Brittany’s warm smile and welcoming demeanor instantly put me at ease. She took the time to chat with me, asking about my favorite drinks and suggesting some fantastic options that perfectly matched my taste. Her knowledge of the menu was impressive, and she made sure I had everything I needed to enjoy my experience. It was clear that she genuinely cares about her customers, going above and beyond to ensure everyone feels included and valued. Brittany’s friendly personality and attentive service transformed my night out into a memorable experience. I left feeling like I had made a new friend in this town! If you’re looking for a place where you’ll be treated like family, I highly recommend visiting this bar and asking for Brittany. She truly is a gem!

Waited 35 minutes for a brat sandwich and a pizza burger and a cheese burger. Sour kraute was cold in a plastic dish. Pizza burger was horrible. Server was slow and never checked back on us. Owner sitting at a table and never offered to help her staff, probably because it was extremely slow.Needless to say, won't be back!!!! SAVE YOUR MONEY GO SOMEWHERE ELSE....

Event venue
Located on Walnut Street, the Lawrenceburg Event Center is a popular venue for various shows and events throughout the year. It offers well-appointed facilities and access to a hotel, making it an ideal spot for entertainment. Visitors have praised its spectacular design and organization, as well as the outstanding professionalism of the staff. While some guests enjoyed performances like The Little River Band, others noted that sound quality varied between acts.
This was a nice place a bit over priced on the concessions. Over all it is a great little venue for concerts.
Dan G — Google review
First time there. Very easy to find. Depending on how long before the concert you arrive will affect your parking, recommend going up to the top and taking the elevator to ground floor. The acoustics were excellent. Limited bar menu. Restrooms were very very clean.
Renee R — Google review
Wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone who is handicapped . I called the event center to ask about handicap seating to the Buckcherry, and Everclear show. I was told any seat next to a aisle way was considered handicapped. When we arrived for the show something told me I better go to the information booth, to ask about our tickets. We were told that they were not handicapped, and that my wife, (who has had 4 strokes, and rides a mobility scooter) would have to go up steps to get to the seats. They said we could stand down on the floor as one option. The key word is stand, something my wife can do, but not for a long period of time. The other option was to sit in the front row of the ryser section. We only had to go up 2 steps, so we agreed to that. I asked if we could park her scooter somewhere nearby, we were told no. The reason being for safety reasons, in case of evacuation. To me that is pretty much saying if there is a emergency and need to evacuate that we were pretty much screwed. I don’t ever see us going back.
Troy S — Google review
Great facility not a bad seat in the house intimate for concerts you’re up close and personal holds maybe 1500 was a very funny evening watching Little River Band
Joe B — Google review
Nice event center however there was no cellular service and the information provided for the Wi-Fi did not work. The event center was clean and everybody was very friendly. Nice event center to host gatherings. I attended midget wrestling. Family had a nice time.
Chastity B — Google review
Small venue, made for an amazing show! Would not hesitate to go to other shows here.
Frankee T — Google review
We went to the Lawrenceburg Event Center (LEC) 4/22/2022 and were totally captivated by the performance put on by The Little River Band. The sound was excellent and much better than what it was for the opening act, The Kevin McCoy Band. Ninety percent of what The Kevin McCoy Band sang was unintelligible. This was our first experience with Lawrenceburg Event Center, and I thought that it was associated with the Hollywood Casino. We'd arrived at the casino over an hour early just for a situation such as this and a casino employee told us that it was not on their premises. We found the Center in plenty of time, had a beer and entered the showroom. It is a really decent place to see a concert, but I agree with others that the management is a bit lacking in making sure that people go to the seats that they reserved. There were a couple of instances where people took it upon themselves to take seats that they hadn't paid for and had to be told politely by the people that were assigned those seats to...move on. If there is another act that we'd like to see that is performing at the LEC we would definitely give it another go.

Located on East Eads Parkway, Lawrenceburger is a cozy spot known for its mouthwatering burgers with a variety of toppings. We were driving along Rt. 50 in Lawrenceburg and saw the sign for Whisky's Restaurant. We stopped in, thinking Whisky's and The Lawrenceburger had a shared entrance. Nope! Whisky's entrance was around the side of the building, off the parking lot. But, we COULDN'T leave the Lawrenceburger once we got a whiff of those grilled burgers. The featured burger is 1/2 pound; a little more than we wanted for lunch. So, we went with the 1/4 pound platter: burger, fries and cole slaw. So glad we made this selection. The burger was the perfect size and we had ours topped with lettuce, tomato, pickle and mayo. Talk about a perfect burger!!! This was absolutely delicious and oh so juicy. I think I used 6 napkins. The cole slaw was just as good. Not too sweet and not too tangy. Just perfect. This also came with a large helping of some of the best fries I've had in a long time. They were long and thinly cut with what appeared to be a light coating, and they were fried to perfection. Crispy on the outside and light/tender on the inside. And hot, too. No cold fries in this place. We started talking with another couple at the table next to ours. They were just passing through town, heading back home to Wisconsin, after spending time in Gatlinburg and stopped by on a whim. They decided to try a hometown place versus a fast food burger stop. They were just finishing their meal as we ordered ours. They had the same positive comments about their meal that we had as we took our first bites. This is definitely on our list of places to visit again when we return to southern Indiana. (We were told by the server that the Sloppy Joe is a favorite. We may have to try that on the next visit, although it would be very difficult to pass up the burger platter.)
Martha S — Google review
We ordered the black and blue burger, a jr cheeseburger and sweet potato waffle fries. They were some of the best burgers we've had in a while. The fries came with caramel sauce, which made the fries even better. The staff was very friendly. We'll definitely eat here again!
Rose L — Google review
Searched for a place to eat a burger on Sunday and found this disappointment. Food was mediocre at best but boy has this place gone downhill. New staff and rude service/wait time was ridiculously long, sticky floors and no updates on a building seemingly falling apart. Desperately needs a remodel and some tic. Mold on ceiling it appeared . Gross
Greg T — Google review
This place has the best burgers and fries. Can’t watch a Bengals games or Reds games. For some reason they don’t have local TV. Food and atmosphere is wonderful but hours are horrible. 5pm on a Thursday and I tried to order food but they are closed as usual. Very bad on Wiskey’s being the owner.
Randy R — Google review
I genuinely do not understand how people like the food here. This is the second worst burger I've ever had in my life. No flavor at all, dry and overcooked. I was shocked about how bad it was. Grade school Cafeteria burgers are significantly better than what I had. Every time I drive by this place I'm haunted by how bad it was. Staff was attentive and nice.
Joseph D — Google review
Terrible experience. Terrible service. Rude and petty server. If you want to wait 45 mins to get your food with 8 other people inside. Be my guest. Also 7.50 for 2 small soft drinks and 2 burgers will run you $45 plus dollars. Save your time and money and go anywhere else

Lawrenceburg Speedway is a thrilling clay track where professional drivers race in sprint cars and other vehicles. The venue has undergone constant upgrades under new promoters, with more classes added and newer events. The concession stand offers great food, and the steel stands with backrests provide comfortable seating. Smaller coolers are allowed, but glass or alcohol is prohibited. The fast and high-banked track promises an exciting Saturday night experience for racing enthusiasts.
Absolutely love my Saturday nights under the lights. Shane McHenry and his family have taken this track to new heights. If you haven't come out yet there is still time.

I grew up going to this track, so I may be a bit biased when making this review. Lol! There's new promoters and constant upgrades. More classes added and newer events. Don't forget the concession stand. Great food! Also; stands are steel with back rest. Stadium seats are allowed. Smaller coolers are also allowed but NO glass or alcohol can be brought in. This track is fast and high banked. Looking for something to do on a Saturday night? This is the place to be!

First time dining here, went with a group of 7 others. Bonus points for the Beetlejuice theme!! Service was great and food mighty tasty! One of the best tasting filets I've ever had (Ordered the 12 oz). Start to finish was a great experience!!

I made reservations for our wedding anniversary (made sure the reservations stated that’s what it’s for) when arriving we were seated in the bar by the window (not romantic at all). Never acknowledged why we were visiting or that we were celebrating. The server never checked on us once we received our food, however the food was good but very expensive. My husband and I shared a 16oz Ribeye with a Lobster tail and Mac n cheese. We still spent $200 (includes tip).

5 star experience. The chef was fabulous, best steak we have ever had at a steakhouse. Highly Recommend eating here. Service was good, not over the top but effective. Could’ve used a little mood setting music or something but still had a great time for the money. Enjoyed a delicious dinner as usual. We have eaten here several times and each time is better than the last. We really enjoy Final Cut Steakhouse. One of our favorite restaurants. The food is always on point and the steak is so tender you don’t need a knife. The garlic smashed potatoes are the best. The service was excellent as always!"

The food is good. I don't have one complaint. The servers were amazing. They took their time with us. We had a party of 8 for my bachelorette celebration. If you order a steak everything is al a carte. The bread that came to the table was good. I believe it was 2 different kinds of bread in the basket. I grabbed the pretzel bread. 😍 It was warm and the butter with it was a must try. I ordered the seafood pasta. It was very fulling. The food has great flavor and it was a good size portion. We asked the server if they could take pictures of us. They did. Everything from start to finish was a great start to my celebration. I will definitely return when I'm at Hollywood casino.

For the price not even close to worth it. Ordered Filet, Crab Cakes and dessert. Honestly Longhorn steakhouse is a lot better than what we got here. Do not waste your money. Steak was bland and really was not much more than a low quality steak you can get at Kroger, and we can easily make better Crab Cakes. Dessert was just something they microwaved. Too bad we had high expectations.

Coffee was cold, chicken was very dry. French onion soup was so salty I added water to make it edible. The bearnaise sauce was also salty to the point I could not finish my steak. We love good food and don't mind paying the price but that was not a pleasant experience.

Whisky's is a charming American restaurant nestled in Lawrenceburg, IN, where comfort meets flavor. This inviting eatery serves up a delightful array of dishes including succulent ribs, surf and turf options, and hearty pasta plates that cater to diverse palates. The ambiance is cozy and relaxed, making it an ideal spot for family gatherings or casual dinners with friends. Guests rave about the quality of their meals; from juicy ribeye steaks to unique sides like peanut slaw that leave a lasting impression.
Had a wonderful belated birthday dinner. I ordered the ribeye. It was hot, juicy, and a good quality tasting steak. I also got the peanut slaw which is A-MAZ-ING. Finished it off sharing a piece of the raspberry cheesecake which was delicious however the raspberry sauce at the bottom was too much and too sweet. Next time I would ask them to go very light on the sauce that they pour onto the plate. Other than that it was a perfect mael in a very nice soft lit environment. Loved it!
Patti W — Google review
We been to Whisky’s several times over the last decade and we love the food, service, quaint and slightly rustic atmosphere, and the fact that it’s never changed since we’ve started coming here. We’ve had most of their dishes. I love their ribs and alway get mine dry with sauce on the aside because I love the natural meat flavor, their fish and chips, chicken strips, bread service, and those croutons in their salads (I almost always tell them to hold the croutons but not here). Their smoked baked potato is really nice as are their sweet potatoes. The potato soup was more like thinned out mashed potatoes than a soup and the only disappointment in our most recent visit - everything else was just perfect. Oh, I almost forgot the crunchy green beans! Different breading than what’s used at PF Changs but every bit as addictive (we dove into them and almost forgot to get a picture of them before they were gone - I highly recommend them!). Whisky’s is a delightful place to eat and we’ll definitely be back!

We come here about once every couple years and always have a great experience. I got a peppermint cookie martini that was amazing, friends got yummy drinks too. We would have loved for the seasonal drinks to have a menu to look over. We almost didn’t get drinks at all bc there was nothing listed and we had to ask and then wait for our server to go ask someone else. They would definitely sell more seasonal drinks if they printed a menu, even a simple one. For me: Fried green beans 10/10 Peanut slaw 10/10 Alfredo pasta 7/10 (ate 1/3 and took it home to hubby) Peppermint martini 12/10

I'll definitely come by every time I get back to town. They do a peanut cole slaw that sounds weird but it's sweet and super fresh so it makes for an interesting combination. Try it!

Food selection was odd. I finally decided on Sea bass... dry and kind of tasteless. But.... the crispy green bean appetizer was good and the peanut coleslaw was FABULOUS! If I return, I may just make a meal out of the slaw.

Went to dinner with friends last weekend. Restaurant was packed and initially sat us at a small table. I requested another table that was bigger and the staff accommodated. We all ordered the ribs, which were awesome, with a side of the peanut covered slaw. After that combo, no desert needed. Only criticism I have, no draft beer, which is a must-have with ribs. I had to manage with bottles (sarcasm). Great food, great place with plenty of parking.

I got the Hamburger, called Lawrenceburger. Fast food would have been much better. Bun was stale. Burger was dry and dark on one end. The best thing on the plate was the bag of chips!!! I haven't been there in a long time, and I won't go back. The peanut slaw was the only thing my friend enjoyed.

The brunch experience at Epic Buffet was delightful, with the receptionist Emily being particularly exceptional and the rest of the team going above and beyond to provide excellent service. The food and service deserve a perfect rating of five stars.
Brunch at Epic Buffet was wonderful, Emily at front desk is the most wonderful person ever along with other staff members that go out of their way to serve you. I give it a 5 star rating on food and service.

My boyfriend and I were super excited to eat here last night, however we left very disappointed. It was $70.60 for both of us. Sure, cool, let's splurge a little. The only thing "Epic" about the buffet is the price. The food choices do not match. There is a far bigger selection at Golden Corral. I'm not kidding. This place is only fancier. Not to mention I went without a drink (water) several times. The atmosphere is cool, they played fun music, the cheesecake was tasty. My warning is, if you are going to this place thinking the selection will match the price, think again. The only reason I left full was because I felt horrible it was so expensive, so I needed to make up for it. (Yes I was aware of the price beforehand. I wasn't surprised by that.) My complaint is for the money I do not feel we got what we paid for.

The pot roast was delicious! Everything else that I tried was mediocre at best. Most was barely warm and some items were down right cold. We were treated to brunch by friends so I couldn't complain on the spot. Probably will not go back or recommend.

The Epic Buffet at the Hollywood Casino has been around for quite a while (more than 10+ years) and what I've noticed throughout the time that the buffet has been there is that they've have always had a very good breakfast or brunch buffet all those years. I'm happy that the buffet is and has been kid friendly, something that other buffets at other casinos should take notice. Of course the casino is supposed to be for adults only however there are other aspects to the Hollywood Casino then just gambling and I for one enjoy the fact that I can go somewhere and have a decent meal with my family that's different and unique as the Epic Buffet.

When I first tried the buffet it was meh, but this time when I came something seems to be different. Perhaps it was because it was the Easter buffet, but the place seems to have upped its game. The lettuce on the salad bar was crisp and green. As this was a brunch buffet, they had breakfast items like biscuits and gravy. The gravy was a good flavored sausage gravy and while the biscuits were slightly over cooked they still had a good flavor. The meatloaf tats red like it was seasoned with care instead of being bland. The pepperonis on the pizza were not over cooked and the pizza was not greasy. For desert the cupcake had a good flavor and was moist. Therefore, I would recommend giving this buffet a second look.

Food could be great and you would have less waste if they knew how to cook it. The crab legs were so wet from sitting in water that you couldn't crack the shell.also the hush puppies had 0 taste . The pop was flat. I definitely will not be back. Beltara will get my business.
Shawn C — Google review
On a 1 to 10 scale. Epic Buffet gets a 5. The price is 37.99, with the food they have to choose from , the price should be 24.00. Crab legs have NO seasoning, their small and seem old. Different items are over cooked or just gone from the menu on both the buffet and dessert area. This is why it took us so long to go back. Once upon a time Epic had a line around the floor to get in, because of the previous reasons, it's now a walk up to the register and not pay, but get taken.

My mom my brother and myself all stopped there last Saturday. It cost three of us $75. There was literally nothing on the buffet. What little bit of food they did have was cold terrible and was made with a water base it seemed. Only thing it had on there with some fish dry chicken and some pot roast concoction that tasted like brown salt. We'll never be back again. If you want a good Buffet go up to the der Dutchman in Plain City ohio. But the service was okay.

Family restaurant
Strong's Brick Oven Pizzeria is a charming family-owned restaurant that specializes in wood-fired pizzas, calzones, and sub sandwiches, all served in a cozy atmosphere. Guests rave about the mouthwatering meatball appetizer and the Quattro Formaggi pie, which features hand-stretched dough topped with house-made pesto cream sauce and mozzarella cheese. While some diners have noted that the bottom crust of their meat pie could be crispier, they still found it delicious overall.
Hands down the BEST PIZZA in Lawrenceburg IN. This restaurant is truly exceptional, offering a wide range of delicious dishes, including the salad, crispy and juicy wings, calzone with a perfect combination soft and light flaky crust, and the Heavenly white pie, which is the best dessert pie I've ever had. Lillie is a fantastic server with a great personality, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. You can follow me Grubbin' with Gayle

Excellent Pizza, 1st time there. Meat pizza, veggie, and 3 cheese were excellent. Crust had a good light task and was cooked just right. House salad was good, large portion. We had a group of 12 and everyone loved it all. Our server, Chris, took good care of us!

Had lunch with some coworkers. REALLY cool vibe, atmosphere, and building. In a really cool location. The food was fantastic and the staff was really friendly. We will definitely be back. I've been to a couple of their locations and have LOVED the experience every time. Obvious that the owners/staff are on the same page, and the goal is great food + a great dining experience!

Chris was super friendly, the prices were good, and the food was AMAZING! We split a small Diavolo Dolce and had the Nutella pizza for dessert with raspberry drizzle. Wonderful place to stop when traveling! ❤️

THIS IS THE PIZZA THAT MAKES ME CRAVE PIZZA AGAIN. We were super sick of the local pizza spots in Harrison so my husband DoorDashed this place on a whim. We hadn’t tried it before but we are already planning going straight there next time. I ate the entire pesto/cheese thing he ordered for me and would have ignored my morning weigh in for another to magically appear. So. Freaking. Good.

Seated quickly, food is amazing! Went for lunch and dinner. Small town dining and friendly service.

Great restaurant. We we're greeted and seated immediately. Everything about this pizzaria is top notch. The pizza is probably the best we've had in the area and the prices very fair considering the high quality of the food. Atmosphere was very warm as the staff. Free parking is plentiful and close for anyone that has a handicap restriction. Enjoy!!!

This is a cute building! We were told we would have a hour wait, but it was only 30 minutes. The service was fast and the food is great! Make sure you ask for light sauce if you do not like a lot of sauce on your pizza. The price was not too expensive at all. For 4 people our bill came out to about $10 per person plus tip. If you order a fruit drink for your child it does come in a non refillable plastic bottle. We are from North Carolina and if we are ever back in the area, we will eat here again.
