Event venue
Located on Walnut Street, the Lawrenceburg Event Center is a popular venue for various shows and events throughout the year. It offers well-appointed facilities and access to a hotel, making it an ideal spot for entertainment. Visitors have praised its spectacular design and organization, as well as the outstanding professionalism of the staff. While some guests enjoyed performances like The Little River Band, others noted that sound quality varied between acts.
This was a nice place a bit over priced on the concessions. Over all it is a great little venue for concerts.
Dan G — Google review
First time there. Very easy to find. Depending on how long before the concert you arrive will affect your parking, recommend going up to the top and taking the elevator to ground floor. The acoustics were excellent. Limited bar menu. Restrooms were very very clean.
Renee R — Google review
We just watched Kenny Wayne Shepherd at the Lawrenceburg Event Center it's a smaller venue but I like it much more than the larger venue there isn't a bad seat in the house it has more of a club feel then a concert hall there's public parking right across the street for free!! It sets right on the Ohio River with a beautiful view
THE L — Google review
Great facility not a bad seat in the house intimate for concerts you’re up close and personal holds maybe 1500 was a very funny evening watching Little River Band
Joe B — Google review
Nice event center however there was no cellular service and the information provided for the Wi-Fi did not work. The event center was clean and everybody was very friendly. Nice event center to host gatherings. I attended midget wrestling. Family had a nice time.
Chastity B — Google review
Big enough for popular acts but yet small enough that all the seats are great. The acoustics are very good.
Jim M — Google review
Small venue, made for an amazing show! Would not hesitate to go to other shows here.
Frankee T — Google review
We went to the Lawrenceburg Event Center (LEC) 4/22/2022 and were totally captivated by the performance put on by The Little River Band. The sound was excellent and much better than what it was for the opening act, The Kevin McCoy Band. Ninety percent of what The Kevin McCoy Band sang was unintelligible. This was our first experience with Lawrenceburg Event Center, and I thought that it was associated with the Hollywood Casino. We'd arrived at the casino over an hour early just for a situation such as this and a casino employee told us that it was not on their premises. We found the Center in plenty of time, had a beer and entered the showroom. It is a really decent place to see a concert, but I agree with others that the management is a bit lacking in making sure that people go to the seats that they reserved. There were a couple of instances where people took it upon themselves to take seats that they hadn't paid for and had to be told politely by the people that were assigned those seats to...move on. If there is another act that we'd like to see that is performing at the LEC we would definitely give it another go.

Located on East Eads Parkway, Lawrenceburger is a cozy spot known for its mouthwatering burgers with a variety of toppings. In addition to their craft burgers, the restaurant also offers dishes like chicken wings and fish and chips. Visitors can also enjoy shakes, beer, and wine at this inviting eatery. The 1/4 pound platter which includes a burger, fries, and cole slaw comes highly recommended by patrons who have stopped by for a delicious meal.
Super cool old feeling atmosphere. Friendly staff and the food was gooood.
Trevor G — Google review
We were driving along Rt. 50 in Lawrenceburg and saw the sign for Whisky's Restaurant. We stopped in, thinking Whisky's and The Lawrenceburger had a shared entrance. Nope! Whisky's entrance was around the side of the building, off the parking lot. But, we COULDN'T leave the Lawrenceburger once we got a whiff of those grilled burgers. The featured burger is 1/2 pound; a little more than we wanted for lunch. So, we went with the 1/4 pound platter: burger, fries and cole slaw. So glad we made this selection. The burger was the perfect size and we had ours topped with lettuce, tomato, pickle and mayo. Talk about a perfect burger!!! This was absolutely delicious and oh so juicy. I think I used 6 napkins. The cole slaw was just as good. Not too sweet and not too tangy. Just perfect. This also came with a large helping of some of the best fries I've had in a long time. They were long and thinly cut with what appeared to be a light coating, and they were fried to perfection. Crispy on the outside and light/tender on the inside. And hot, too. No cold fries in this place. We started talking with another couple at the table next to ours. They were just passing through town, heading back home to Wisconsin, after spending time in Gatlinburg and stopped by on a whim. They decided to try a hometown place versus a fast food burger stop. They were just finishing their meal as we ordered ours. They had the same positive comments about their meal that we had as we took our first bites. This is definitely on our list of places to visit again when we return to southern Indiana. (We were told by the server that the Sloppy Joe is a favorite. We may have to try that on the next visit, although it would be very difficult to pass up the burger platter.)
Martha S — Google review
We ordered the black and blue burger, a jr cheeseburger and sweet potato waffle fries. They were some of the best burgers we've had in a while. The fries came with caramel sauce, which made the fries even better. The staff was very friendly. We'll definitely eat here again!
Rose L — Google review
Searched for a place to eat a burger on Sunday and found this disappointment. Food was mediocre at best but boy has this place gone downhill. New staff and rude service/wait time was ridiculously long, sticky floors and no updates on a building seemingly falling apart. Desperately needs a remodel and some tic. Mold on ceiling it appeared . Gross
Greg T — Google review
This place has the best burgers and fries. Can’t watch a Bengals games or Reds games. For some reason they don’t have local TV. Food and atmosphere is wonderful but hours are horrible. 5pm on a Thursday and I tried to order food but they are closed as usual. Very bad on Wiskey’s being the owner.
Randy R — Google review
I genuinely do not understand how people like the food here. This is the second worst burger I've ever had in my life. No flavor at all, dry and overcooked. I was shocked about how bad it was. Grade school Cafeteria burgers are significantly better than what I had. Every time I drive by this place I'm haunted by how bad it was. Staff was attentive and nice.
Joseph D — Google review
Terrible experience. Terrible service. Rude and petty server. If you want to wait 45 mins to get your food with 8 other people inside. Be my guest. Also 7.50 for 2 small soft drinks and 2 burgers will run you $45 plus dollars. Save your time and money and go anywhere else

Cool little place right in Lawrenceburg. Burgers were great. Service from Rose was quick and friendly. The peanut slaw is awesome!

The Captains Tavern is a popular spot in Lawrenceburg, located inside a historic building near the Ohio River. It's known for its wide selection of craft beers that are constantly rotating, making it a great place for beer enthusiasts. The restaurant and bar also offer a variety of wines and cocktails. Customers praise the friendly and welcoming staff, particularly bartender Kelly who is highly skilled at mixing drinks and ensuring guests have an enjoyable experience.
I recently moved to town and decided to check out a local bar, where I had the pleasure of meeting Brittany S. From the moment I walked in, she made me feel right at home. As a newcomer, I was a bit nervous, but Brittany’s warm smile and welcoming demeanor instantly put me at ease. She took the time to chat with me, asking about my favorite drinks and suggesting some fantastic options that perfectly matched my taste. Her knowledge of the menu was impressive, and she made sure I had everything I needed to enjoy my experience. It was clear that she genuinely cares about her customers, going above and beyond to ensure everyone feels included and valued. Brittany’s friendly personality and attentive service transformed my night out into a memorable experience. I left feeling like I had made a new friend in this town! If you’re looking for a place where you’ll be treated like family, I highly recommend visiting this bar and asking for Brittany. She truly is a gem!

Waited 35 minutes for a brat sandwich and a pizza burger and a cheese burger. Sour kraute was cold in a plastic dish. Pizza burger was horrible. Server was slow and never checked back on us. Owner sitting at a table and never offered to help her staff, probably because it was extremely slow.Needless to say, won't be back!!!! SAVE YOUR MONEY GO SOMEWHERE ELSE....

I love going here to watch movies. You choice where you want to sit when buying your ticket. Never overcrowded. The theater is always clean. Shows the newest movies. Plenty of concession choices.
Jayme B — Google review
Good prices, fun spot to see a movie!
D.J S — Google review
This theater is always clean, staff are helpful, and even when crowded, people have manners so you can enjoy your movie. You do need to buy tickets online for shows that may sell out quick but I definitely recommend this theater.
April K — Google review
This was the place to be back before tv/movie subscriptions started, and I don't want theater's to become a thing of the past, BUT the staff encounter (or lack there of) was piss poor during our recent visit. We went to purchase our tickets; 2 adults, 2 children 4 & 2. The clerk decided to make a rude comment on taking our 2 year old to a KIDS movie. Asking if he will actually be quiet during the film unlike the last child who apparently screamed & cried & parents didn't remove him from the theater. He was alot more negative about that comment than what I summarized. I was shocked at his remark and didn't even know what to say & almost didn't want to go through with our ticket purchase if it wouldn't have upset our 4 year old who was eager to see the movie. So we did. We were a few minutes late purchasing tickets so when we went to the ticket gate to hand then our tickets there was no attendant so we had to flag an employee down behind the counter. During the middle of the show my husband took our 2 year old out to the lobby because he was getting antsy and didn't want to disturb the other attendees & he noticed not a single staff member was out in the lobby. Everyone was sitting in the back office. Him being a police officer noticed the lack of security cameras in the lobby area and with the lack of staff keeping watch of the lobby there is a HUGE concern for everyone's safety in the theater. Please invest into the safety of your staff & customers so it doesn't become another target. Thank you.
Rachel M — Google review
10:45 pm sat July 5th rudeness was over the top I was debating to even go see a movie. first out of this mistake of coming here I could have seen a movie for free but I'm not a thief If you really have cameras you'll fix these issues. I was Trying to tell the guy what movie would like to like to see he interrupts me saying "I'm sorry what" so then when I do get to finish asking for which movie ticket the last rodeo he says that started an hour an half ago Lol it's no wonder places can't stay open nobody wants to work
Todd H — Google review
Best seat ever. Food options are great. Great for naps and seeing a movie

The park features soft, cushioned turf that stays cool even on warm days, making it safe for little ones to run around barefoot. Omg! Such a cute park!! Its all new! Super big! The funest swings ever!! Safe! Theres video camreas! Bathrooms! Picnic tables! Water fountains!!
Jenifer R — Google review
Great park! Tons of different toys for the kids to choose from and not have to fight over, Even when crowded.
Renee S — Google review
My grandson absolutely loved coming here to play. So many wonderful options for the Littles. And the play area is designed for many areas and with those with disabilities in mind. I was very happy it was fenced in and had well maintained restrooms right in the play area.
Sharon B — Google review
Just went to the updated park and it was amazing! All of the structures seemingly are different and have their own unique features. Lots of different features to keep keep kids entertained a while! Also, they had a large amount of swings, a covered area for picnics, and a very well kept basketball court. The attention to detail was pretty cool since the metal structures that kids touched were painted / coated with some sort of ceramic so they stayed cooler in the heat. Really neat!
Alex R — Google review
Tons of swings and nice soft turf! This park is extremely nice. The slide is REALLY tall as well. Plenty of bench seating around the park. Very nice covered tables to sit as well.
Bryan R — Google review
I Nanny a little 2 yr old, and we love this park. Yesterday, his Mommy left thinking his shoes were in the car, and were not. No worries, the concrete there did not get hot, and it was 85°out. I was concerned. And, of course, the new green, cushioned turf, was soft, cushy, and not hot. What a relief, for this Nanny!😊😎😀
Krista T — Google review
Beautiful upgrade! I really like the 2 singular access points in to the park, makes me feel safer for my kids. There are also restrooms; we didn't need to use them so no info on cleanliness but, I'd comment if ever used. Be warned it can get hot, obviously on really hot days. Just prepare for it. It was tons of though!
Areli S — Google review
Fun place for the kids to play, nice equipment and fun gadgets to mess with. The swings are great and everything is fresh. The only reason I didn't leave 5 stars is because of the litter! There was so much trash all over the place, even with me walking circles over and over around the playground picking up trash and random debris, there was still so much around even after my efforts. They (the city) can do better on keeping it cleaner. Otherwise it's a perfect park, lots of shade and clean restrooms!

A couple of the picnic tables in the shelter house were broken and the walk to the restrooms was a little far for my elderly grandmother, but otherwise a nice clean park, a beautiful view. We had a great picnic and a wonderful day. Would go back again.

Well laid out so there is plenty of room to move around and the parking is free. There was a $5 fee to get in so not bad. If you're like me and look at almost everything, you'll need most of the day as there are a lot of vendors there. They did have a few food trucks and food booths outside. We had fun and will go again next month.

Decent food trucks, lots of vendors, pleasant place to walk around. Some good deals to be had usually but more retail pricing this time.easy parking.

Long time visitor, first time vendor this year. Its few and far between that these antique events hold to their word of keeping it antiques/vintage only and not turning into a flea market with new bulk product and I appreciate that greatly . Scenic pond with small fountain appropriate for outdoor photography. Definitely dog friendly and picnic ready.

First time going here. It was super hot so me and my son were only here for a short time haha. But there were people fishing down by the other side of the pond.
Raven J — Google review
Clean and fun park for the family, plenty of spots to picnic and even grill out. Nice ponds thru out the park, clean bathrooms and clean ponds. Plenty of walking paths and space for bikes.. This is one of my family's favorite places to visit whenever we are in town. Definitely recommend going for a visit. You won't regret it!
Adam Y — Google review
Brand new structure from the looks of things. You have to go to the back of the park. The merry-go-round toy is well built and spins smoothly. Other structures are sturdy. The music structure is definitely different and adds something most parks don't have. A lot of stuff for everyone and taller slides than I've basically seen anywhere. Just have to watch out for little ones are getting to. Artificial turf is really nice. A+ job on the playground!

Park
Lawrenceburg Civic Park is a popular spot in downtown Lawrenceburg, conveniently located near the Ohio River. It features a large outdoor stage and a "splash park" that kids adore during the summer months. The park offers a great escape for families, with easy monitoring of small children and plenty of seating for parents.
Beautiful location to see during the holiday. Had an amazing time with my wife walking around, enjoying the festive lights. They even had a place to warm up in case you got cold!

Beautiful area, city. Fall fest is always great time too!
Ralph H — Google review
Nice little splash pad here for younger children. My 5 year old son loves going here in the summer. Plenty of seating. The park in general is really more of a little outdoor stage/theater area for local concerts, parade starts/stops/ bike race starts/finishes, civic activities/fund raising drives, announcements, graduation ceremonies, etc. Not really a park with playground. (Check over on Arch Street for a second to none local playground/park) The only real issue is that the little building with restrooms are located on the "stage" side of the street that runs through middle of park, while the main & majority part of the standing/seating area, as well as the splash pad are all located on the other side. That's a bit inconvenient with young, wet kids. But it's nicely maintained, clean, typically a good atmosphere, safe, with easy access to an ice cream shop on one corner, art gallery next to that, plus a local eatery & pub right there. Last year there was typically music playing on the overhead speakers. Nice little place to take the kids for a couple hours

Nice venue in Downtown Lawrenceburg IN. Saw Eagles tribute band. Food vendors and shops on site but can also bring your own food and drink. Arrive early for good seats. Bring your own seats. Google search for music on the river Lawrenceburg to find upcoming events.

My kids and I love going here! We love playing in the nice cool water on hot summer days 😊 We have already made so many great memories here! We also enjoy coming down relaxing on a blanket in the grass watching the movies showed here in the park 😊 The surround sound is great so you don't have to worry about not hearing or seeing the big screen!!

I love what they have done to this place for music on the river, fall fest it looks great and theres entertainment right there for all ages kids and adults
Rhonda M — Google review
The kids call this "splash park" and love going in the summer. It's a great escape for those days you don't feel like committing to an all day pool visit. Adults can monitor small children pretty easy. Friendly crowd, sometimes you can get it to yourself during the day. Children from just starting to walk to ages 5-12 can enjoy this together with parents as well. Restaurants near by make it easy to get lunch or dinner outside.

Boogie Nights Indiana is a lively discotheque and bar located at the Hollywood Casino, offering a spacious '70s and '80s-themed experience. The club features different themes and opens on Friday and Saturday nights, providing rooms and booths for events and parties. Visitors can enjoy a diverse crowd of all ages, along with music from the '70s, '80s, and '90s.
I don't know what the prices were. We had bottle service for my bachelorette party. The servers came around to make sure we had everything we needed. Morning was out at any point during the night. The atmosphere was great. The music brought me back to my teenage years. I had a ball. There were a lot of people dressed up in disco wear. I can see myself returning when I am at the casino.
Usinda T — Google review
I've never been to a club atmosphere before, and this was a great first experience. Staff was kind, dancers were awesome, music that was played was DIFFERENT and songs everyone knew, not just new stuff of only a few genres. I drank 1.5 fishbowls and was still completely sober? Could have just been my nerves since I was new to it all. All together a great experience, my friends and I had a great time.
Larissa G — Google review
Went for the first time. Lots of regulars go. You have to stand up and watch the dance floor if you don't pay for a booth. Music and vibe was good. But I'm not going to stand all night
Dianna C — Google review
Business idea: Open a night club in the Lawrenceburg area that doesn’t charge $6.85 for a cup of ice, and get a DJ plays slighty more “club-ish” music, maybe one that doesn’t make awkward comments during a mediocre song. This place was probably awesome in the early 2000’s. It’s 2025. The bald dude with piercings is such a depressing bar tender. I know I can get a little loose but if you hate your job so much, find a better one. Hope someone important gets wind of this review.
Connor W — Google review
Terrible…Nothing like it was 10 years ago. Cover charge is lower, but I strongly feel this has created a different atmosphere in what used to be a great night out. Dance floor no longer lights up, dancer entertainment is down to 2, from what used to be 4-6 on any given Saturday night, entertainment impersonators aren’t used anymore, no foam bubbles from the disco ball, and now guards are required due to immaturity. Definitely not what it was 10 years ago when cover charge was higher. Staff deserves 5 stars, but very unhappy to see what such a great nightclub has become.
Jennifer P — Google review
I enjoyed it, safer than the clubs I usually frequent, nice mix of music, very peaceful vibes just people having fun
Rayshawn S — Google review
First, I'd like to say Chelsea is THE BOMB!! She took care of us and made our experience TOPS! I guess I had my hopes up a bit much over the dance experience. 70s, 80s, 90s but 2k was played and focus on that genre killed it for me. It looks like this place did much better in the past and perhaps identify ehsts changed. Get more people like Chelsea!!!!
Cori W — Google review
Went to Boogie nights on a Friday, and there was a $5 per person cover charge. Was surprised it was only DJ music for a cover. We brought drinks in from the Casino, there is zero places to put your drink down, sit down, take your coats off. Everywhere in the club is marked off for VIP lounge couches. We weren't there long, but even that short of a time, someone spilled their drink on the dance floor because there is no place to put anything down. They did interrupt everything long enough to mop it up. The drinks, overpriced, you kind of expect that, in the Casino they post on the TV's everyday, all day $3.00 beers. Apparently the Bartenders don't know about them and don't sell them. Liked the music and the people there. If we go again, I will bring a bottle of water I can close for easy carry, and no coat, and no purse for her. Which boils down to we will probably find someplace else to go.

Located on Reardon Drive, the Oxbow Nature Conservancy offers various options for exploring nature and observing local wildlife. The conservancy features trails that allow visitors to admire the area's plants and fauna, as well as a natural lake that provides excellent opportunities for birdwatching and fishing. The site is easily accessible by regular cars and SUVs via well-maintained driving paths, although flooding can occur at times. Despite this, the area is known for its cleanliness.
A hidden gem! An awesome place for bird watchers - lots of herons, cormorants, geese, plovers and more. Excellent for walking, jogging and even bikes. We have also seen fish, turtles and rabbits. The road is about 1.7 miles from the casino to the entrance behind Waffle House.
JitkaKac — Google review
Hike regularly with dog. Trails well kept, benches along trails and qr scans thru out detailing wildlife migrations, plants, etc. Alot of bycyling and fishing.
Bonnie V — Google review
Beautiful place to see wetlands and wetland animals. Some of the trails are mowed grass paths, which is fine. However they are plagued with poison ivy and it is impossible to avoid. There is a gravel road that is clean, so you can avoid the ivy. This is a flat hike, so good for anyone that is avoiding hills.
Paula V — Google review
My wife and I came here and had a lovely time walking next to the lake. We hoped to see some Pelicans that had been blown North but they were too far away to get a picture. The herons were delightful. Take the exit from 275 to Lawrenceburg, turn left onto 50 and immediately left before the Waffle House, then turn right at the salvage yard and you will be at the entrance.
Best B — Google review
Nice outdoor green space for bird watching, fishing, and some hiking. The hiking is mostly gravel back roads and there are some bush-wacked trails but bring pants because they are over grown/studded with poison ivy.
Mike M — Google review
A very peaceful nature conservatory. It is even a pleasant drive. The roadway is a dirt and gravel mix with many potholes. I highly recommend families and folks who love nature or photography to make a visit.
Andrew H — Google review
One of the very few natural lakes around. Fantastic bird watching and exciting fishing. Big crappie, big gar, big channel cats, and big carp (that I know of personally) all in the lakes. The Big O fills it every year so lord knows what monsters lurk in there. Easy driving paths that, as long as its not flooded. Are typically passable by regular cars and SUVs. But if its flooded, you can get stuck. Also worth noting how clean it is. A rarity sometimes with public fishing spots. One warning I would give is that make sure you where long pants if you're planning on bushwacking for spots. In spring and early summer it's a solid wall of poison ivy from the road to the lakes. But that's nature for ya'. I very much appreciate the efforts of the conservancy group at the oxbow. Big fan!

The pool features an impressive big slide that both children and adults can enjoy together, even if height requirements aren't met.

First time visiting this pool & well was worth the $5/person for hours of entertainment for kids and adults alike. My only complaint is they do not have a concession stand (at least when I was there). They’re losing out on an additional source of revenue and service offering that would make the experience much more enjoyable.

Usually my kids and I stay in the splash pad area since I have a three year old and a one year old. Unfortunately it was closed today until 3:30pm and we arrived at noon so we decided to brave the "big" pool. My kids wear puddle jumpers as they cannot swim independently. At one point I took my children to the playground area and took off their puddle jumpers. As we headed back to the pool my three year old broke away and went running full force to jump into the big pool (he forgot that he didn't have his jumper on) I saw all of this happening and started SCREAMING "get him! Grab him" I was quite literally yelling at the top of my lungs. "SOMEBODY GRAB HIM!!!!" he went into the pool and was not able to get his head above water. I jumped in after him and pulled him out of the pool. While this whole interaction was maybe 10-15 seconds it seemed like an eternity. He was okay, shaken up, coughing up water, but otherwise fine. Not one lifeguard even looked up. No one blew a whistle or made a peep. I acknowledge that as a parent it is my responsibility to make sure my children have the correct swimming equipment but in my absence I feel that lifeguards should be there to fill in any gaps. It was a horrifying moment and I felt utterly alone as pool patrons asked if my son was okay but again, not once did a lifeguard look up or approach us, even after a patron walked over to a lifeguard and explained what had happened. I am extremely unsettled over this event and it is very unlikely that we will return.

Great fields. Bleachers are great and plenty of seating for everyone that some parks don’t have enough of. I also learned once don’t park in the soccer parking lot area. I parked at the soccer field parking lot once because there wasn’t enough parking area by the baseball diamonds warning don’t do it you could stuck walking a very very very long distance around the whole park to get to your vehicle because that side of the park locks down and you can’t get to your vehicle So I learned from experience. Only down fall is sometimes the baseball Diamond parking lot is packed and not being able to find a spot to park. Other than that great park for baseball.

It’s a decent park when it isn’t trashed. Normally no one is here and you can actually enjoy the park. It’s a little outdated and rundown, but the kids love it. For the bad part: when it’s trashed you will sometimes find broken glass in the mulch. We have gotten in the habit of cleaning up and scoping the park out before we let our kids run free. You definitely have to be careful because you never know what you’ll get with this park.

This is the first time leaving a review in the middle of a stay. My husband and I checked in yesterday to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We don’t usually celebrate it, but had a very challenging and hard summer so we found this gem to check out. The hotel is very old timing and charming. One down side to it, you can hear everything !! We are on the back side of the building and you can hear a simple conversation from under the pavilion. The room itself is very clean and cozy. Our cleaners name is Rachel and you can tell she takes pride in her work. As far as the casino goes… we are losing our butts but are having a blast. You can smoke in the casino (we are not smokers) but the ventilation is very good and you hardly notice it. One complaint. When getting food, people in line will light cigarette after cigarette which is gross. Smoking should be prohibited in line for food / where meals are being made. We have one more night and hopefully our luck will change . Will definitely be back

The staff is always pleasant. The rooms are very outdated. The shower curtain liner was hideous! They really need a better cleaning staff and need to upgrade their rooms. This is by far one of the oldest hotel’s at a casino that I’ve stayed at. The carpets are very nasty. I didn’t even want to walk with my bare feet on the carpet. I appreciate the comp rooms. I really recommend that they do something about upgrading at hotel. Please change shower liners frequently.

Nice hotel enjoyed the Hollywood motif, suggestion you can park at the hotel and walk to the casino. It is not as far as some of the reviews would make you think. The room was clean ask for a non-smoking room if you want to avoid the smoke smell that other reviews have indicated. I saw little indication of wear and tear with exception of the front entry. After that the hotel seemed to be clean and well kept. Not bad after a 30 years it is little used now, that is the casino next door given that there are 15 other casinos nearby. This was a reasonable hotel for a good price.

Love this place!! But needs to be refurbished, it is very dirty/old My room would not get hot water not even after 25 mins of running & the carpets are dirty & feel sticky, chairs so stained wouldn’t sit on it, toilets smell terrible after ‘ after taking a closer look i can see why…. Disgusting! If you are disabled or have a hard time walking, this is not the place for you….. walk from the hotel to the casino is like a mile away, very far, very very distanced and all uphill! 😫 Love the look and aesthetic of the place, but it does need some help!!!! A BIG shout out to James and Justin. 2 very kind young men that went out of their way for me & we’re very helpful.!!! Hey Hollywood since you’re not putting the money that we all give you back into the hotel, please put it into these young gentleman‘s pay checks!! 🤗 I did not get pictures of everything, but I did get pictures of the toilet! Need attention in the room, the wall A/C unit desperately needs to be clean you’re asking for trouble with that! The curtains, especially the blackout ones need to be replaced, the lamp shade they are totally trash! Carpet needs totally replaced! And a mop taken to the Floors! Plus rubber mat for shower!, main reason for review. Husband slipped in the shower, he’s alright! Little upgrades go long way!!! Stay quite often, but think the room’s really need attention!!! Your employees are always respectful and very kind and always willing to help! Thank you Hope Hollywood Hotel continues to survive!!!

I avoid leaving negative reviews, but this place has 100% lost site of the concept of customer service. I would avoid it at all costs. We booked through booking.com. According to booking.com, after trying to get a refund, all the rooms in this dive are smoking rooms and they are well used...We went to check into the property, got to our rooms and realized they smelled like an ash tray. We went back to the front desk and told the guy there that we were going to leave. He did offer to put us into other rooms, but at that point we decided to just make the drive home since the smell of smoke was pretty much throughout the property. When I asked about a refund I was informed that I would need to call booking.com to do this and so that is what I did...after an hour on hold and calls being dropped twice I was told by booking.com that the refund was being denied by the hotel. I called the hotel and they indicated that there were non-smoking rooms available that night and since we didn't give them a chance to fix it that the refund was being denied. They also went onto tell me that I had booked smoking rooms somehow on booking.com and that I should read the confirmation email more closely. Frustrated would be customer here. Back to Marriott and a brand that actually makes it right when there is an issue.

Resort featuring 22 trails for skiing, plus snow-tubing & a lodge with food & equipment.
Perfect North Slopes is great for beginner skiers like me. It’s nearby, has rentals, and makes snow when needed. Being open into the evening (10pm on weekdays, midnight on weekends) allows a quick run after work in the winter. The trails are beginner-friendly and I have enjoyed progressively more challenging options. They have snowboarding as well which I have yet to try. The accessible and warm lodge as well as annual passes are a big plus!
Evan O — Google review
Always a great time here at Perfect North Slopes. Even when other localish slopes are struggling to open, Perfect will have a base already down. Also always improving trying to have great conditions. We have been traveling a few hours every week here the past few years with a pass and now have our own gear and it has been worth every minute learning
Dalton H — Google review
While somewhat dated on the inside, it is a great ski getaway. Instructors are incredible. My granddaughter and I both loved ours (beginners, thank you Sparkles)and my husband’s more advanced instructor were very knowledgeable and patient. Lifts were easy and not long lines even though weather was perfect and powder was also. Food is way over priced even for a vacation destination. Higher than a venue but less quality. Staff is beyond nice and ability to wake up and go was a long weekend we won’t forget.
Cee J — Google review
Almost perfect! This place is awesome for the location. Has some of the best snowmaking I’ve ever seen (it’s needed). The issues comes with the little elevation and the longer lift lines. They are doing the best they can to keep this place awesome.

Addison and the entire staff treated us like family! We all had a blast this weekend. Best place to learn how to ski at a fair price! From Miami to Indiana...we highly recommend this little GEM. Keep up the great work and we'll see you soon! -- The Moretti Family & Friends

We took a crew of people tubing, and it was such a blast. The tubing is so fast, and the wait time honestly wasn't bad at all. There are 3 sets of lanes, and one of the lanes will allow up to 16 people to all tube as a group. Overall, it was a great day out with family!
Trent F — Google review
It's the second time I come with my family. You can breathe an incredible atmosphere. They have many clues depending on the level of experience. For 116 you have the gear (helms and skis or snowboard) and access for 8 hours in a row from the first track you enter. For an additional 10 dollars you can have the waterproof jumpsuit. In addition, if you are local they have very good bonuses. 100% recommended
PoiiSon21 — Google review
Advance booking: Yes It’s a fantastic place to have fun with friends or family. Tubing is my favorite activity there. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, making it easier to explore the park. I would recommend spending at least a full day to fully enjoy the park. They only accept credit cards.

Nestled within the Doubletree hotel, No-ce Italian American Kitchen & Bar is a delightful culinary gem that promises an unforgettable dining experience. Guests rave about the mouthwatering dishes, including their standout lasagna and perfectly breaded chicken marsala. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it an ideal spot for family gatherings or casual outings with friends. Diners can indulge in shareable portions of flavorful entrees while enjoying attentive service from friendly staff.
This restaurant is inside the Double Tree hotel. Rachel took great care of us and made some great recommendations. We enjoyed everything we had, but only snapped a pic of the appetizer. Would definitely come back!
Brandon F — Google review
One of my favorite restaurants!! The lasagna is the best I have ever had! Calamari is delicious as well! The salad is also amazing with generous toppings! Always look forward to going to eat here with my family! Service is always great as well. The breadsticks with the dipping oil and seasoning is also amazing!!
Katelyn N — Google review
Enjoyed a nice evening out with a great view and live music on the patio. Food and drinks were delish! Eggplant Parm, fried ravioli, peach sangria and dessert!
Jennifer W — Google review
A group of 6 of us visited the restaurant sunday evening at 6:15 pm. We sat outside on the patio. We ordered drinks, the evening started off nicely. We ordered appetizers., which took about 40 minutes to get to our table. The restaurant was not busy at all, there may have been one other table inside that had people. The waitress brought the salad, then, about two or three minutes later, she brought the entrees. My entree was cold and had to be remade. A couple of the other entrees were considered tasteless. The food took way too long to arrive at the table. The waitress said the reason the food took so long was because they only had one chef and we were a large group.
Chuck K — Google review
We visited this recently opened restaurant tucked back in the Doubletree hotel. The food was so delicious and the waitress was quick attentive and friendly. Pictured are the free breadsticks with dipping oil/herbs, shareable size chicken marsala and single size chicken parmesan. Both dishes were topped with optional fresh grated parmesan cheese. The chicken was breaded nicely and very juicy. The sauces for both dishes were very flavorful and comforting. It may not have the full ambiance of an Italian restaurant due to being in a hotel but the food is what matters. The prices were fair and there was plenty for leftovers. We'll definitely be back.

We are local and went with my vegetarian wife for dinner. You get bread sticks and sauce with meal. I had a very good flatbread and lasagna. My wife enjoyed fried cheese ravioli and liked it. Wine and appetizers were half price. The staff is friendly and it was nice and quiet on Friday night. A bit pricey but you can expect that from a hotel restaurant.
Pavel K — Google review
My wife and I went for our Anniversary. Note to self, if you order the large shareable, prepare for a huge portion! I got the Chicken Marsala and the wife got the lasagna. Those pics are taken with a portion removed for our dinners. That’s the leftovers in those pics! Both were very flavorful and tasted yummy👍🏽

I visited this small winery and tried a few different wines. I mostly tried the sweet wines and black cherry was my favorite. The wines come in small batches and the elderberry wine was the main star for the day. I also met Don (the owner)and he was very friendly. If you are into wine and small intimate setting this is a good place to stop and pick up a few bottles of wine to go.

Wonderful. Tried the 3 samples..loved the frozen iced options but chose to purchase 2 bottles of black cherry. Wonderful stuff and staff!
Kat C — Google review
A nice place to sample wine, have a glass of wine and relax. A unique setting for a winery with a cool atmosphere. A good variety of wines to choose from. Wine tastings are available. The hosts were friendly and helped with our tasting. Reasonably priced on their bottles of wine with a discount when you purchase 3 or more. This is not a bad drive from the Cincinnati and NKY area. Road closures in Indiana does make the trip a little more adventurous on the back roads (Sept 2024). Outdoor seating with a patio for performances. We caught a Saturday night performance that was relaxing. 2 lots for parking.
Jeff S — Google review
Loved this cute little winery, really nice tasting wines, awesome atmosphere. Definitely worth a stop.
David H — Google review
At the Barn is an incredibly charming winery with a great selection of wines. They offer 3 free tastings, which is very generous and something I have not seen at other wineries. I tried their dry reds and was very impressed, but their local grown Foch grapes in the Foch Me wine were incredible and stood out to me. The owners were very nice and conversationalist. I would highly recommend a visit here!

First time going to this course last week. The layout was challenging but still fun. The terrain was something I've never seen before, hills that look like valleys and so much open space. Amazing placement for the tee spots and greens. Some of the best scenery I've seen on a course. Definitely recommend this course for a single player or a large group.
Vincent P — Google review
Unfortunately, they gave us a tee time of 11:51 and a large outing was right in front of us. We didn’t actually tee off until probably 1245p. I’m not sure how frequently they schedule tee-times, but it took us 3 1/2 hours to play the front 9. We had paid for 18 but left after the 14th hole. The Rangers could not do anything about the speed of play or they chose not to. Beautiful course though! Cart-paths are very rough, but gorgeous scenery through nice neighborhoods. Five stars if not for the botched scheduling and rough cart paths.
David V — Google review
Drove into the parking lot to see ten plus carts waiting to tee off on the 1st hole. The staff at the pro shop said there was a fifteen minute delay, and would not offer a rain check or refund. Forty minutes after my tee time, we started our round. Employees roam around the course with Ranger written on their cart but do nothing to control pace of play. With the exception of the pleasant woman in the snack bar, all employees I encountered were clueless, indifferent, or both. After six hours, quit on hole number fifteen. My foursome will not be returning.
Joseph R — Google review
Wasn't a bad place to play for the price, and had some nice views along the way. We played on a 74 degree day in February, so wasn't expecting amazing course conditions, but they definitely could have been better. I feel as this course has a hard time draining, which makes for really swampy & wet conditions in certain areas. Greens were recently aerated, which most courses usually do that in late fall, so it made putting difficult. Tee boxes were missing the 'Boxes' except the Blue tees. Cart paths were pretty rough & the fairways were dead yellow grass, and super thin.
Ole D — Google review
Nice golf course in Indiana near Cincinnati, Ohio. Course challenges your control of shots from tee to green. The course is hilly and has great views. Good value and recommended!
Stephen M — Google review
Beautiful course but we were not allowed to drive on the course because of the rain they had which is understandable but after having to walk the whole course they had no water stations set up on the course and it was about 90 degrees. There was no one close enough behind us to be holding up and they actually drove to us and told us to pickup the pace a couple of times. Never understood and Will never go back.
Gary D — Google review
Beautiful golf course and challenging holes! First time there and will definitely be back!
Derek D — Google review
Played 18 holes on 18 July 2023. Nice little course. Very hilly but not that long so very playable. 1236 tee time and pace of play was very good. Friendly pro shop and outside drink station. Definitely not a grip it and rip it course. Requires you to manage your game. Course was in very good shape and greens rolled true and not too fast. Can be frustrating the first time played as not always sure where the greens are located on some holes. I will definitely be playing it again as I enjoyed the course.

One of the most amazing places I've ever visited. Definitely worth every single one of the 4500 miles it took to get here. Meeting the owner Steve and his wife was a huge honour, they're incredible people and just all around very sweet folks. The place has incredible cars. Some even so rare that it took me a minute to process all the stories we heard from the owner. They're all beautiful. And if cars aren't your thing then you'll surely enjoy the walls, floors and every other bit of empty space being filled with authentic vintage memorabilia. Neon signs, gas pumps, posters and photos. I think I'd spend a whole day there if i wasn't limited by time I really hope to visit again asap. With love from Poland ❤️

Stopped by and ate at the diner and decided to check out the museum. We all loved it! My four year old had a big smile the whole time we were there (as did I). They are currently building a putt putt course next store as well. Owners were extremely nice and welcoming. This is a must stop for anyone passing through or local!

Awesome collection of classic cars, sports memorabilia, nostalgic automotive pieces. The 50s style Diner, gift shop, and full service fuel center add to the classic vibe. Great family friendly place.
Steven C — Google review
First time in the museum, and we got to meet Steve and Barbie and hear a little about their story. They're good people, and I look forward to seeing what else they bring to that place. There were some cool cars that I had never seen before, and some I was glad to see again. Absolutely worth it. So glad we detoured from our original plans. And the food at the diner? Excellent. We will be back. And hopefully bringing others with us.

Very nice park. Picnic areas with shelter and some new tables. Playground areas appear to have newer equipment. Walking trail in good shape. Restrooms are dated and could be updated. Park was clean and is pet friendly. Ballfields are available.
Jim B — Google review
Playground, baseball fields, football field, and a walking trail located in the small town of Bright Indiana. A nice little town park that isn't overly fancy but gets the job done.
Ben P — Google review
Great local park with plenty of amenities. Trash is picked up and Bathrooms are kept clean. The fields and playground are kept in good order. My one complaint is the walking path crosses over the driveway multiple times so you need to be careful, and the parking lot closest to stateline road only has one entrance and exit so it gets clogged up sometimes
Lisa C — Google review
The park and layout of things were nice! Enjoyed both the little kid and big kid playgrounds for our little one. The climbing parts of the playground structure was something I hadn't seen on different play sets. When we arrived though, the gate was closed to the parking lot near the playground. Additionally, there were full trash bags scattered about in the covered area while you walked up and nowhere to take / put them. The bathrooms were also locked. Minor things but seemed like the park was, at the moment, not being attended to.
Alex R — Google review
Nice park and good walking path. One complaint tho, there should be markers on the path to gage your walking distance.

The Dearborn County Historical Society, situated in Downtown Lawrenceburg, serves as the primary archive for historical materials related to the county's past. Notable projects include the restoration and operation of trademark buildings such as The Vance-Tousey House and the Angevine Cabin. Visitors have praised the friendly and knowledgeable staff who assisted with genealogy research. The society also offers a river walk outside the building, adding to its charm.
I came to do some genealogy, and everyone I encountered was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The genealogy room had some useful information I had been seeking. Outside building were some stairs leading to a river walk, which was pretty and that I enjoyed very much. I did not think to take photos inside, but here are a few from the river walk. BTW, historic downtown Lawrenceburg is wonderful.
