Heisler Park is a picturesque coastal park located above the bluffs, offering stunning views of the Pacific Ocean and access to four Laguna beaches. The park features artistic park benches, sculptures, and a waterfront pathway lined with grassy spaces, palm trees, and wildflowers. Visitors can enjoy the ocean views from various vantage points along the walking trails and explore rocky shores and tide pools.
One of the most beautiful and romantic parks in the west Coast. Clean with so much pristine cliff side landscape and perfect beaches. Blissfully beautiful and unlike any other beach in southern California!

Heisler Park is my new favorite beach to visit. Lots of parking, restrooms, seating, grass and tables for a picnic and it has a ramp straight down to the beach for wheel chair access. ♿️👍I've gone twice this week and Im planning to bring more with me next time so I can camp a little longer.

Thank you for this beautiful place. Every year we come here and enjoy. The care is great as the view. Truly a treasure.

Great place to go visit. The drive getting there was pretty cool itself. Nice scenery and lots of houses on the hills. Not too crowded and parking was easily available at a very low cost. Didn't spend too much time there but it was worth the trip for sure.
Vimal P — Google review
Heisler Park in Laguna Beach is a beautifully maintained coastal gem that captures the spirit of Southern California’s shoreline. With its sweeping ocean views, art installations, and carefully landscaped walkways, it offers a perfect blend of natural beauty and relaxation. The sunsets are truly breathtaking, making it an ideal spot for photography, peaceful walks, or a quiet moment above the waves. If you’re visiting Laguna Beach, Heisler Park is a place not to be missed,it perfectly represents the charm and serenity that make this area so special.

It's beautiful here however, my son has Down Syndrome and suffers from depth perception and gets over stimulated. These steps almost sent him to the hospital. Let's just say it WAS NOT FUN! Next time we'll go to the parking lot with the tunnel. They even had a wheelchair for the sand. It was a good day but yeah, next time we'll go somewhere else.
Cinnamon M — Google review
This park is stunning! The views are absolutely breathtaking! Very walkable and peaceful. Clean restrooms. Impeccably maintained!
Angela M — Google review
Heisler Park is an absolute must-visit if you're in Laguna Beach! From the moment you arrive, you're greeted with breathtaking panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean. The meticulously maintained pathways wind through lush greenery, vibrant flowers, and unique art installations, making every stroll a visual delight. There are plenty of benches strategically placed to soak in the incredible scenery, perfect for a peaceful moment of reflection or simply enjoying the fresh sea air. We loved watching the waves crash against the rocks below and even spotted some dolphins playing in the distance! Parking can be a bit tricky, especially on weekends, but it's well worth the effort. The park feels safe, clean, and incredibly well-cared for. It's a fantastic spot for a leisurely walk, a picnic with a view, or just escaping the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Heisler Park truly captures the beauty and charm of the California coastline. We can't wait to visit again! Highly recommend!

The Sawdust Art Festival in Laguna Beach is a long-standing event that has been supporting local artists for over 50 years. This renowned festival takes place over nine weeks during the summer, attracting more than 200,000 visitors annually. The festival features a handcrafted village with sawdust-covered streets and showcases various crafts such as ceramics and sculpture. Visitors can explore art booths featuring works by local high school students as well as pieces by established American artists.
I have wanted to come to this art festival since I can remember and I am just 30 minutes away. We went during the weekend day and to my surprise it was somewhat busy. They have two live bands playing every 15 minutes or so. They have tons of small art shops, each individually with its own artists 🎨 . We parked outside with paid parking. I paid $10 for 2 hours and 30 minutes, which I thought it wasn't that bad. They also have a food court. The food we ordered was good from Loco Taco; 3 tacos of carnitas and a strawberry 🍓 and banana 🍌 smoothie. We would definitely come back. Recommend for all ages.
EdenA — Google review
The best art festival around. Outstanding art in a laid back approachable fun venue. Each booth is hand crafted out of wood amongst the trees, with wood chips on the ground. Live music enhance the joyful atmosphere along with outstanding eateries. Artists demo their work and there are lots of classes like pottery making along with live glass blowing. Lots of fun activities for children. Artists love sharing their craft and chatting with festival goers. It is a charming, joyful, energizing, must go festival for all ages. They even have a Christmas festival that is just as charming. I have been attending Sawdust for decades and thoroughly enjoy every time.

love going to art festivals and meeting the talented artists. The Sawdust Festival was very busy on the Sunday we went. Parking was really bad. It took us over half an hour to find parking and we parked quite far away. We purchased the tickets at the front. We went through the bag check and metal detectors without a hitch. It's really cute inside and I like how each stalls were decorated by the artists. I do find the prices a bit high but that was expected. We did buy a few small pieces during our visit. There were many seating areas scattered around and food options too.

Two of my girlfriends and I went to the Sawdust Art Festival because one of my friends wanted to buy two more pieces of jewelry from a vendor she had purchased jewelry from the week prior. We had such a great time. There were two live bands playing simultaneously in different locations for our entertainment. We had a bite to eat and some cocktails and listened to the music during our dinner. All of the different types of art was amazing and the artists were all very friendly when we had questions. It was a good happy relaxed vibe that day and my friends and I really enjoyed our time at the festival.
Therese M — Google review
This place seems small but once inside, there’s a lot of stands selling all sorts of items. There’s clothing, pictures, glass, jewelry, 3D pictures, glass blowing and ceramic making. There are statues and displays around the area. They have live music that was fun to hear and eating areas to sit and enjoy. There’s even small water falls that are just lovely. It was very enjoyable. The parking area is small but you can park on the street for meter parking or a direct parking lot.

Nice atmosphere, it's peaceful and serene. Very talented artists. Good music. All in all, a great vibe! Recommended parking lots are very small. Street parking is metered. I would go again.

The admission is $12. I was doubting at the first time but it’s really worth it. Two live musics are going, eucalyptus trees are around you with very cool arts, glass art is going. Love their vibe🎶🎨

This is the first time I’ve ever gone to the Sara sawdust festival. There were a ton of really cool vendors and live music. The food was delicious. The people were great and the weather was amazing. I will definitely go back next year.

The Festival of Arts and Pageant of the Masters in Laguna Beach is a renowned annual event that showcases a diverse range of art forms, from traditional paintings to public installations. The festival's highlight is the Pageant of the Masters, where live costumed actors bring famous paintings to life in a 90-minute show known as tableaux vivants. This unique presentation features iconic works such as El Jaleo by John Singer and Leonardo da Vinci's The Last Supper.
13 of us had a very good time. The band was wonderful. We know we could bring a picnic and and your own wine! I'm going back next week for the full experience. 14x14x14 soft-sided ice chest. Have fun!

This is a MUST see during the summer months in Laguna Beach!! The Irvine bowl does NOT have a bad seat in the house. It is like a miniature Hollywood Bowl but with a much more quaint feeling. The trees surrounding the bowl is undeniably beautiful at night. Before you enter the bowl make sure you arrive early to visit the art show and talk to the artist. They are charming and excited to sell you their art work. The Pageant of the Masters has been running over 90 years and continues to impress and get more creative every year. It started in 1933 and recreates famous artists paintings, sculptors and statues in a three-dee form. This year was about visiting all the famous museums in California and bringing them to life. Binoculars are a MUST to see the details of each scene. You may buy, rent or bring your own. This is definitely a unique and beautiful experience well worth seeing. Unfortunately no cameras or cell phones are allowed. Eat before you go or bring your own in a 14x14x14 cooler with goodies and drinks to share. YOU WON’T BE DISAPPOINTED!!! A MUST!!!

ALWAYS WONDERFUL, ALWAYS MAGICAL!!! The Pageant of the Masters and Festival of Arts are annual must see events! A great escape from the summer heatwaves to cool ocean breezes and mild temperatures of Laguna Beach. My favorite artwork is the Junior Art Exhibit with juried artwork from grade school to high school age children. Was very happy to see this years entries were much more imaginative and creative once again versus the years after COVID lock downs. We have a whole days outing in Laguna Beach so we have time to see the art festivals (Festival of Arts, the Junior Art Exhibit, The Sawdust Festival) and enjoy a great meal by the beach before we head to the Pageant in the evening. Love how they show you what goes in to setting up a scene with a painting as they place models in their make-up and costumes, roll down the backdrop, and place props in. It's amazing to see the real magic happen when they light the set to create the mood and color palette of the artist, to make real people look like a part of the painting. Be sure to bring a blanket or jacket, seat cushions and binoculars if you have them. Temperatures really drop after sunset.

All I can say is WOW! What an incredibly talented production. I was amazed at everything from the music to the venue. Let alone the masterpieces themselves. You should definitely go!

Such a fun art festival and show ! Our family has made a tradition of going every year for decades now. We like to arrive early to enjoy the artisan booths prior to the show itself. We look forward to the different themes every year. This years’ was fantastic per usual! It is such an incredible mix of art and performance.
Kelly S — Google review
I attend the pageant every year for well over the past 10. I swear by last minute tickets and main tier left so you can get in and out easier. I always go mid August. The themes change and they have increasingly focused on more current (>1950s) and west coast art than in the past. Bring your own binoculars and plan for time before to walk around the exhibits. I usually park and eat by Lumberyard making a resi at 6pm. Occasionally there is parking available in the pricier lot on the right side just past theater. I just attended a music event and paid for the seats. With paid seats we had front and center about 3 rows back even at 445pm. Tables are for 4 or 6. It appears you can plan ahead and just pay the lower cost entrance fee but plan to arrive at opening which was 4 sharp - free tables and ampitheater seating is all first come. People brought full meals and many bottles of wine or alcohol in other containers. There is wine for purchase and possibly some concessions. I’d bring a table cloth and something to sit on as the wire seats were a bit uncomfortable after 3 hours. The night club seating is more like bistro seats. We also sat and mingled well after the concert and and had time to walk the exhibits in peace. Dancing happened to the far side of the stage. Most people stay seated.
Natasha F — Google review
Did the pageant masters, suggest more time to browse before the show. Also the closer center seating tickets the better. I just want to see the human factors involved and felt to far away we were left mid. There are themed events and music before the show. I need to go back cause I missed this. We came on a Monday evening. It was lovely with a slight chill in the air. As the orchestra brought out and highlighted the show beautifully. Bring a blanket, sweaters and maybe a snack!! Shuttle was easy, parking 5 bucks, we chose lot 16 for those with limited walking, this was doable distance about two football fields with rest in-between to get seated. Then you gotta return! So it can be smaller segments to walk if you plan ahead. I loved the featured artists works prior to the show. They were so interesting to talk to.

Nestled in a picturesque beachfront location, The Greeter's Corner Restaurant offers an eclectic array of American cuisine that perfectly complements its vibrant surroundings. This charming diner boasts a spacious outdoor patio where guests can soak in stunning ocean views while enjoying their meals. The restaurant pays homage to Eiler Larsen, the beloved Laguna Beach greeter from the 1940s, who welcomed visitors with warmth and charm for decades.
We really enjoyed eating here! The location is amazing as it’s right off of Main Beach and Forest Ave. We sat outside and watched the beautiful sunset. The waiter, host, and manager were so kind to us! They each chatted with us which was so nice, but they also gave us space to eat and enjoy each others company. The food was VERY good! The whole experience is worth the price for sure! I haven’t had that amazing sunset view from a restaurant and the food was so good! I definitely recommend this place and will be coming back! A side note, we actually had been recommended a sports bar and grill across the street. We are in our 20’s with 2 kids, and had to leave before we even ordered. We decided on the Greeters Corner and I’m so happy we did! We wouldn’t have gotten to see the sunset from our table or had a quiet and relaxing dinner at the other place. Absolutely pleased with this place!

I visited this restaurant in early October and just now have the chance to leave a review. We arrived in the evening and saw a halal burger option advertised outside. The staff was welcoming, and a friendly young lady handed us the menus. However, we couldn’t find halal items on the menu, so I asked her about the advertised halal sandwich. She seemed unsure and went to ask her manager, eventually pointing out one sandwich. When I asked if it was the only option, she appeared uncertain and gave some unsolicited answers. Despite this, I ordered a confirmed dish, which was served promptly and tasted great. Prices were a bit high, but it's understandable given the beach location. My concern was the staff member's lack of knowledge about halal food. If you want Muslim customers, please clearly confirm halal options, as confusion like this might make us hesitant to return. The service was still excellent, and they waited for us to leave before cleaning and closing.

Greeter’s Corner Restaurant – Solid Breakfast with a View We stopped by Greeter’s Corner Restaurant for breakfast and had a good experience overall. The service was excellent—our waitress was very friendly and attentive, which made the visit enjoyable. I ordered the Greeter’s Combo, which came with two eggs, a choice of French toast or pancakes, and a choice between bacon, sausage, or breakfast potatoes. I chose the breakfast meat but really wish the combo came with potatoes in addition to the meat. I sampled the potatoes, and they were definitely the standout of the meal—crispy, well-seasoned, and seriously delicious. I would return just for those. The rest of the food was good, and the beach view added a nice touch to the experience. The total for our family of four, including tip, was $133.96, which felt a little high for breakfast, but the location and view help explain it. If you’re in the area and want a decent breakfast spot with ocean vibes, Greeter’s Corner is worth a visit—especially for the potatoes.

This restaurant is as close to the boardwalk in Laguna Beach as you can get. On the patio you get a view of the beach and can see the people sitting on the sand. It’s nice and you get some shade with the umbrellas. The fish tacos is the dish to get although I’ve heard the fish and chips is pretty good too. Be careful of what you order since some menu items are overpriced (hamburger for $30 and hotdog as fries for $17). The desserts look amazing and I will definitely try the next time I there. Service is great though with the wait staff passing very often.

Every time I visit Laguna Beach, this brunch spot is my favorite place to go. The food is really good, always fresh and full of flavor. No matter what I order, it never disappoints. The view of the ocean is beautiful, making it a perfect place to relax and enjoy a meal. The staff are also very friendly, which makes the experience even better. It’s the best spot to start the day with a great meal and a great view!

Oh hell naw $93.72 A great spot close to the beach what could be wrong, right? A bacon burger, fries, a chicken Caesar salad, margarita and root beer. $93.72 let that sink in. No handmade patty, really average like $4 buck average and the patty was of the frozen variety. The fat fries were good but the margarita was Meh! Add Spotty service like a 3G old iPhone in the hills. Oh hell no $93.72 price gouged Not worth it. Sorry just so so below average

Such a great place to eat right on the beach. Great service, excellent quality food (we had the Laguna Burger and shrimp Tacos but started with the Clam Chowder.... best I've ever had), and you can't beat the ocean view. Get ready at the end of the meal because they will tempt with an incredible dessert tray that will make your mouth water. Loved loved loved this spot!

It was my first time, Wednesday afternoon. The fish and chips are just like any other ones, nothing special. Service is really slow and takes a long time to be helped in the beginning and a long time to get the check as well. I don't think I will come back

Beach
Outdoor Activities
Nestled in South Laguna, 1000 Steps Beach is a popular spot for surfing, sunbathing, and volleyball. Despite its name, the staircase to the beach actually consists of only 218 steps. Locals often use it as a workout spot due to its popularity. The beach itself is wide and beautiful with stunning coastal views and a tranquil atmosphere. It's framed by dramatic cliffs and offers a sense of serenity away from the crowds.
If you are looking for a hidden gem along the coast, Thousand Steps Beach is an absolute must-visit! I went there in April and was blessed with perfect weather — sunshine, a gentle breeze, and that magical light you only get on rare days. The beach itself is breathtaking: secluded, peaceful, and absolutely stunning. You access it by descending a long staircase (about 200 steps, not really 1000!), which feels like the start of a little adventure. Don’t worry — the climb back up is manageable and totally worth it. Highlights: - The Grottos: This was easily the highlight of my visit. At low tide, you can explore the mesmerizing caves on the left side of the beach. If you venture through, you’ll even reach another hidden beach — a real secret paradise! - Crystal-clear water and soft sand make it ideal for relaxing, swimming, or just soaking in the beauty. - Facilities: There’s a shower and a toilet down by the beach (only one each, but it wasn’t crowded at all during my visit). - Parking: Street parking is available at the top — it might get tricky during peak times, but in my case, it was easy and stress-free. - Sunsets: If you can, stay for sunset! The colors are unforgettable, and it’s one of the best places to watch the sun dip into the ocean. - Timing Tip: Visit at low tide if you want to explore the caves safely — and check tide charts beforehand. It’s an amazing spot for photography, quiet reflection, romantic walks, and of course, adventure if you love discovering hidden natural beauty. I genuinely had the perfect day and would come back again without hesitation. Highly recommend for nature lovers, photographers, and anyone who wants a slice of paradise without the crowds!

I was a little nervous to visit at first, but I’m so glad I did, it was absolutely worth it! The views are stunning, truly some of the best I’ve ever seen. Photos don’t do it justice. The people are friendly, and the sound of the waves is so calming. I wish I lived nearby so I could come more often. This place is a hidden gem, I highly recommend visiting if you get the chance!

This beach is not that crowded compared to other SoCal beaches, and to access it, park at the hospital, but only on weekends. The beach is quite nice, has some tidepools and caves at both ends, and has some high waves perfect for bodysurfing. Also the beach is accessible by going down the 212-ish stairs to the beach, and the water and beach here seems more cleaner than other socal beaches.
LC 4 — Google review
The stairs keep the crowds away! There are a LOT of them. Definitely not 1000 but lots. It's easier to go down then come up. There is a lifeguard on duty and bathrooms at the bottom. Parking is TRICKY but it's well worth it. The beach is absolutely beautiful and it's clean and the water is so pretty. It wasn't crowded at all.
Jacque — Google review
I had the pleasure of photographing a senior portrait session at Thousand Steps Beach. While this beach is a popular spot, it's not always my first recommendation for those traveling specifically for a photo shoot due to the crowds. However, it's an excellent option if you're already staying in one of the beautiful nearby homes. Despite the crowded conditions, the photo shoot was spectacular, and we captured some truly stunning images. If you're considering this location, I highly recommend visiting during the off-season in winter to avoid the crowds and have a more intimate experience. For any senior, family, or wedding photography needs, I'm available to help you find the perfect backdrop and capture beautiful memories, whether at Thousand Steps or one of the many other incredible beaches in the area.

First time coming here and it all starts with 1000 steps down!!!!…. Actually not that many, it’s more like 200-250 steps but they call it to make people prep for the beautiful view that that can see from the shoreline! If you are around, it’s worth the try going down there! BUT, there’s only one bathroom so if there are many people you have to wait for good long time like I did… good 30 mins waiting just to pee :( so I just suggest to go to the restroom before coming here or just go to nature :p Overall, I had a good time spending time here but ironically waiting for bathroom was longer than seeing the ocean view… yet still it’s worth it! So go visit! Enjoy the steps and the ocean view! Cheers 🥂

The steep stairway down may seem intimidating at first, but once you reach the bottom, you’re rewarded with stunning ocean views, dramatic cliffs, and soft sand stretching along the shore. The waves crash with a calming rhythm, and the whole place has a secluded, almost secret vibe. It’s the kind of spot where you can just sit back, breathe in the sea air, and lose track of time.

Awesome beach! If youre driving in, the parking is limited out on the road, so go early. Starts with a couple of hundred steps down. Which wasn't bad. Beach is beautiful and waves were active. -John Wayne's house sits here and believe it's a rental - Beautiful scenery - there was water access to clean feet - was a bathroom, but was locked, so not sure on availability - nice shopping and restaurants not far away Definitely recommend visiting if youre in the area

Salt Creek Beach

Beach
Salt Creek Beach is a picturesque sandy beach in Dana Point, South Orange County. It's a popular spot for surfing and swimming, with its small offshore reef creating excellent swells. The beach offers stunning views of the coastline and Catalina Island. Visitors can enjoy walking along the bluffs or exploring the scenic tide pools located south of the main beach. Additionally, there's a boardwalk that stretches from The Strand to Waldorf Astoria Monarch Beach, providing ample space for relaxation and group gatherings.
Do you want to relax and be in contact with nature? Walking at night is also wonderful and with the light of the full moon it is even more enchanting. That's why I decided to show a little of this experience.

Super clean and beautiful beach that has a large and cheap parking lot. Came here for sunset and it did not disappoint. There is a nice grass hill as well if you do not want to watch the sunset on the grass. The waves were large and the sand very soft. There were lots of people just chilling, walking around, and playing sports.

This is a beautiful hidden beach. You park in a large lot off PCH and take a walk downhill. First you go through a tunnel. On the other side is a large grassy are with picnic tables, BBQ, and a basket ball court. After going down some stairs you will see the snack bar. Off to one side are showers, the other side are the restrooms. The beach is just below. The beach is small and beautiful. They have lifeguards here too. There's BBQ"s on the beach area too. This is a great place to spend the day.

Went to this beach for the first time. Absolutely beautiful. The walk from the parking lot down to the beach was a little long and downhill but so worth it. Idk if it was because it was during the week but it was not crowded and plenty of parking. There is a large grassy area. The walk back up hauling stuff was a pain so be prepared. We took a wagon and an ice chest with wheels which I would highly recommend. My sister-in-law did say on weekends it does get packed so plan to get there early.

Cafe
C'est La Vie is a charming cafe and bakery that offers stunning ocean views to accompany its delectable pastries, savory French dishes, and a well-stocked bar. Established in 1982, this restaurant has been providing an authentic French dining experience for owners of luxury homes in Laguna Beach.
We had breakfast at a charming spot in Laguna Beach called C’est La Vie — and the interior is straight out of a fairytale. Think pink chairs and a dreamy, princess-like vibe. I loved it! We sat outside since the weather was perfect, and when we arrived around 8:30 a.m., it was quiet and peaceful. By 10 a.m., the place was packed. The bakery items were pretty good. I ordered the lobster eggs Benedict, which were tasty, although the muffins were super tough to cut through. My husband had sunny-side-up eggs with sausages — he said the sausages tasted a little off, but otherwise it was fine. One thing to note: they have free parking in the back, which we only found out after paying for street parking. So if you’re going, skip the meters and park in the back! Overall, it’s not the best food we’ve ever had, but the ambiance is lovely, service was fast, and it’s definitely worth checking out if you’re in Laguna Beach and want a cute breakfast spot.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at this gem in Laguna Beach, and it was truly exceptional! From the moment we made our reservation, which was super easy and convenient, to the free parking spots behind the building (a rare find in Laguna Beach), everything was perfect. The view is absolutely stunning; it feels like you’re dining right next to the ocean, with a beautiful tree adding to the charm. The staff is incredibly friendly, and we were lucky to be served by Austin, who, despite being new, was outstanding and made sure we had everything we needed. As for the food, it was amazing! We started with their bisque crab soup, which was perfect for the chilly weather. The octopus was delicious and had a texture almost like chicken, and the mango dressing that came with it was so good that we asked for extra. We also tried the ahi tartare, which was delightful. And for dessert, they have an impressive selection of sweets, and if you’re celebrating a birthday, they’ll even bring out a special dessert for you. They also offer a lovely tea service with unlimited hot water, which was a perfect way to wrap up the meal. I’ve been here for brunch, lunch, and dinner, but this visit was truly exceptional. Highly recommend!

This French bakery and restaurant is an absolute must-visit! They have an incredible selection of fresh, delicious pastries every day – truly anything you can think of. The menu is fantastic for any meal, whether it’s breakfast, lunch, or dinner, and they also have a full bar to round out the experience. The dining area is beautifully set up with a relaxed, upscale vibe, and the ocean views make it even more special. Perfect spot for a romantic date, brunch with friends, or just treating yourself to something amazing.

We were delighted to find a restaurant this morning that served more than just breakfast (a silly rule in many restaurants). It was pleasant to sit on the terrace, but the only annoying thing was that next to the table was a pile of dusty, apparently spare, furniture.

One of the best brunches I’ve ever had!! The eggs benny & monte cristo were delicious 10/10! Right on the waterfront, the patio views are amazing. Thank you to our server Jesse who was so accommodating & kind. Will definitely be coming back when visiting the beach!

Brewery
Laguna Beer Company, founded by local brewers Mike Lombardo and Brent Reynard, has gained popularity since its establishment in 2014. With a flagship location in Laguna Beach's arts district, the brewery offers a variety of cleverly named drafts inspired by local landmarks. The menu features small plates like soft pretzels with red ale jalapeno queso and loaded skins, as well as bowls, sandwiches, and artisan flatbreads that pair perfectly with their beers.
One of the best breweries around this area, they serves limited beer and very limited food menu. But I like the quality and the ambiance which is great. Strongly recommended place for a hangout 👍 cheers

This is a cool place for hangout with and without kids. The outdoor space is spacious and they have many coloring books, games and puzzles for kids to chill while the grownups are enjoying their hangout. The food is good: we ordered chipotle chicken sandwich which was mediocre and on the dry side but it was tasteful other than the dryness. Their beer battered fish taco and the beef tacos were both amazing, great portion, awesome topics and a layer of cheese hidden between the two taco tortillas. Their kids cheese pizza was also filled with cheese on top. The only downside was their service was pretty awful: they were understaffed, so taking the order, cleaning the tables, bringing the food and anything you needed took them a long time and they were not attentive at all to what the customers need. Overall a good place to stop by on the way to or back from the beach

Great place for locals and groups to meet for something casual. About a dozen, well curated craft beers on tap with a handful of wines. Food was just ok. Certainly family friendly but unless you live nearby I wouldn’t go out of my way to get here.

Saw that this place had great reviews on google maps. Popped in for lunch. Sooo GLAD we did. Brooks cordially met us at the bar and we sat down. Reggae music was playing. The vibe was laid back. Several types of beers listed on a chalk board on the wall and a written menu also. I ordered the Hot honey pizza, chipotle chicken sandwich, and a beer battered fish taco, 2 draft beers of 1,000 steps west coast IPA, and a tea time hard seltzer. Absolutely everything was delicious! One of the best pizzas I ever had. My wife had the chicken sandwich and GMA had the Taco. Everyone loved everything! This place is not far from main beach and 100% worth going to. It’s not fancy. It’s clean, great food and great beers. We will be back!

Amazing beer here I have to say some of the best IPA I’ve ever had. Emerald Haze hazy IPA! It’s about seven dollars off the tap or you can buy four packs for about $20 . Nice place to visit with outside patio. Decently food also the fish taco and pretzel looked really good. Happened to meet the owner here and his wife and talk to them really nice couple. If you’re in the area, you will have a good time and bring your dog if you have one !

Great Experience at this beer company! We ordered food and drinks from our table and service was very quick and super simple ✨ I am from the desert and came to the beach and decided to come here after my surprise engagement and had a very great time. Hope to come back one day again! ✨🍻🌮🍕

Love this brewery! The beer, service and food are excellent. My only complaint is that I live far from it. But I do make the 1.15 minute trek to go get a beer and the Greek Pizza, plus the arugula salad. Together, they're the perfect meal for two. Their guava beer is delicious and refreshing -- perfect for a summer day. All the staff is friendly and knowledgeable in terms of the beer. My friend is not a big craft-beer fan but they were happy to recommend a beer like the type she usually drinks and she was happy with their suggestion.

Soft pretzel with jalapeno cheddar sauce - 5 🌟! I was in Laguna Beach for the Sawdust Art Festival a few weeks ago, and I popped into Laguna Beach Beer Company because I saw someone eating a delicious looking soft pretzel and I just had to try it. It was a perfect midday snack. I'm not a drinker, and I'm sure they have lots of excellent alcoholic beverages, but if you're looking for a place that has some high-quality pub fare like a pretzel with warm cheese sauce, then give them a shot! I wasn't looking for a big meal, but they do have heartier options to choose from. The bar seating is open and inviting. The interior is an open-air style area with lots of fresh air. They have a wife, an extensive outdoor patio with lots of seating and shade. Lovely place, and while it may be a while before I'm back in Laguna Beach, I really enjoyed the day I spent there and my pretzel.

Restaurant
The Royal Hawaiian is a historic tiki bar that has recently undergone a complete makeover, transforming it into a lively venue serving rum cocktails and Hawaiian food. The interior exudes tropical vibes with its pufferfish lamps, palm fronds, and bamboo torches. It's known for its delicious tropical cocktails and solid food, making it a fun spot for a night out in Laguna.
1st time here. Really nice atmosphere- tiki bar. Food was fantastic. Bartenders were also the servers. They knew it was my birthday so they sang happy birthday and was going to give me a free desert but I was to full. I got there at happy hour. ordered the Spring veg rolls- they were delicious took some home along with the main entree which was Pineapple Curry Rice. It had a type of pork/shrimp, peas, and scallions cut into a pineapple. Very tasty. Would go back when Im back in Laguna Beach, CA.

I really wanted to love this place. The menu looked great and the vibe was super fun and kitschy—I was totally feeling it when we walked in. Unfortunately, the experience didn’t live up to the expectations. The service wasn’t terrible, but it wasn’t friendly either, and it was oddly slow given how empty the restaurant was. I ordered the ribeye steak with macaroni salad and a green salad. The steak was a big letdown—tough, not great quality, and the teriyaki sauce didn’t help. The macaroni salad also lacked flavor. My wife and kids weren’t thrilled with their meals either. We tried to salvage the night with dessert and ordered the coconut cake, but even that fell flat—it tasted old, and between the four of us, we didn’t finish it. The atmosphere had potential, but the food and overall experience just didn’t deliver. Disappointing.

Would be 5/5 stars if the drinks were not $19. Would have been 4/5 without the weirdly predatory photo experince. After tax and tip included its ~22 a drink. I would not recommend visiting off happy hour - when the prices are more reasonable. Only the Mai Thai is on the happy hour for drinks tho. The happy hour food was good, but with 3 drinks total, 2 appetizers, and 1 meal off happy hour we still spent over $110. Further, they asked us to take a picture at the front which was cute then brought it in frames to our table and pushed it really hard on us. $20 for a per photo in a cheap frame… then they asked for a tip on the checkout of the photo starting at 20%! It felt gross and ruined the whole vibe of the place. Great esthetic and the drinks tasted great, but the price and photo experience were a big turn off. If you are a tiki bar person like me, worth a single visit but be warned on cost

Top place in laguna. Food, service and ambience are incredible. It had been amazed by each dish. After visit this place I’ll be frustrated because we don’t have this place in Spain.
Enrique C — Google review
we got the spam masubi, chicken dumplings, and hulu hulu chicken with macaroni salad and garlic rice. the spam masubi was the best food item we had, but it wasn’t anything special. the dumplings were fine also but not something i’d order again, the chicken was dry and lacked flavor, the sides were unremarkable. the best part of our meal was the pina colada, that’s why it got a 3 and not a 2. probably won’t come back but i will say our service was amazing!!

Very few places get a triple 5 star rating, and this is one of them. The food is fantastic, the service staff is great from the bartenders, wait staff, management, and the cook! The atmosphere is quintessential classic tiki bar and it delivers on all other points too. Definitely worth a visit, and you're likely to get hooked!

Visited for lunch and loved it. Wonderful cocktails and food, classy tropical ambience, great service. Wish I lived closer!

The reviews were mixed but the atmosphere is a 10 on 10. The food was good. We ordered the spam fries which were good and garlic shrimp noodles. They needed some salt which we requested at the table. A cool place of Laguna Beach history since it opened in 1947

New American restaurant
Broadway by Amar Santana is a popular restaurant in Laguna Beach, known for its seasonal New American small plates and industrial New York-themed decor. The menu, curated by award-winning Top Chef Amar Santana, features modern American cuisine with a focus on seasonal flavors and ingredients. Dishes like blue crab salad, braised beef cheek mole, and artisan cheese plates showcase the chef's beautiful plating techniques and global culinary influences.
If you're seeking an unforgettable dining experience in Laguna Beach, look no further than Broadway by Amar Santana. This upscale restaurant offers a harmonious blend of exceptional cuisine, attentive service, and a vibrant atmosphere, making it a standout choice for discerning diners. The meal commenced with appetizers that set a high bar. The yellowtail sashimi was fresh and delicate, while the roasted bone marrow was a revelation rich and flavorful, perfectly complemented by its accompaniments. For the main courses, the prime skirt steak was cooked to perfection, boasting a savory caramelized onion jus that enhanced its robust flavor. The lamb shank exceeded expectations, tender and succulent, showcasing the chef's mastery in preparation. Concluding the meal, the Dubai chocolate bar dessert was a decadent treat, offering a perfect balance of sweetness and richness that left a lasting impression. The restaurant's ambiance is both elegant and inviting, with a modern design that doesn't overshadow the warmth of the dining experience. The staff were attentive and knowledgeable, providing service that was both professional and personable.

The food was good ($40-60), the service was decent, cocktails were just ok ($18), the atmosphere was loud. Overall I had a good time - but for ~$250 for two people - I expect to be blown away, not just have a decent time. FYI on the 3% service charge baked into the subtotal your tip is on top of. I would recommend someone to visit once to give it a try but for $250 I’ll be visiting other spots on return visits to the Laguna area.

Amazingly & Perfectly Prepared Food Like None Other By Far!! Our waitress Veronica crushed it. We celebrated my sister’s birthday in the best way possible at the best place possible. A must try
Shahin F — Google review
Food was overall good. The duck confit and egg yolk ravioli were to die for. The Spanish octopus was very fishy unfortunately(maybe not fresh). Filet mignon was good but not medium rare like we requested. We ordered Oh Beehive for dessert, which tastes like a mildly sweet cheesecake with meringue on top. It was pretty basic so I wouldn’t get it again. BUT the honey ice cream that accompanied the cake was heavenly. Cocktails - they weren’t bad but they were one note. For the price, I was expecting a bit more flavor. Our server was amazing. And the hostess always able to squeeze us in on a Saturday night without a reservation. I’m looking forward to coming back and trying more!
Diana N — Google review
My fiancé picked this restaurant for our engagement last night. No doubt about the food, it’s fantastic. The beef cheek molé was as good as it could’ve been, and the pork chop steak was the perfect texture I wanted it to be. But the service, we waited to see a server for 5min and got waters after 15min, then waited 40min to get our starters… I understand they are really busy but i think they should not accept this many reservations if they can’t manage it properly. This wasn’t the horrible experience but if you go to those type of restaurants, they expect more than this.
Keumdal J — Google review
We visited this Top Chef restaurant during our stay in Laguna. We truly enjoyed the service and meal. We did have a reservation. The octopus was delicious and prepared perfectly. The Branzeni come servrve on a platter with no head or tail and sliced through the middle so its easy to eat and share. This was also delicious although not the best we've ever had. For dessert we had the Beehive. It was so unique and wonderful..the outer layer of merengue was very subtle and then you have this lemon layer and in the middle a goat cheese. We ate every bite of it. Our server also recommended the Banana cake dessert but we ended up taking that home because we were so full. Their cocktails were excellent. They gave us a coconut rice pudding as well which was so delicious.
Shannon R — Google review
Unfortunately not a good experience overall. Spanish octopus did not have enough flavor and was burnt rather than charred. It could have benefitted from a marinate prior to being prepared. The dish also lacked cohesion. While the black olive yogurt was delicious, it did not fit on the plate and distracted from the rest of the dish. The pork chop was overcooked and dry, however the mostarda was very good. The braised beans lacked a big pinch of salt. The fillet mignons were well cooked but did not brine for long enough - the salt did not penetrate into the meat and the inside of the steak was unseasoned. The dessert was too sweet and did not have any creativity in it. Service was good, but overeager. They also add a 3% surcharge due to "California" that you have to ask to be removed from the bill. The atmosphere was too loud and cramped, but it did have nice decor.

Great lively atmosphere right in Laguna! Food was very flavorful. I had the hamachi starter and the squid ink cavatelli pasta and both were delicious! Be sure to order an appetizer and entree as portions are quite small.
