Temecula in 1 day

If you only have 1 day to spend in Temecula, we’ve narrowed down the top places you should check out to get the best experience of your time here.
Temecula is best known for its rolling vineyard landscape and dozens of wineries, many with tasting rooms, tours, and seasonal events. Old Town Temecula preserves a 19th-century streetscape with wooden boardwalks, historic buildings, and a busy calendar of markets and festivals. Hot-air balloon rides at sunrise offer panoramic views of the valley, while nearby golf courses and the large Pechanga Resort Casino add more entertainment options. Its location between Los Angeles and San Diego also makes it an easy wine-country detour on a Southern California trip.
With favorites like The Goat & Vine, Old Town Temecula Community Theater, and Coin-Op Game Room Temecula, we’ll make sure you don’t miss out on all the must sees. We even included some of our favorite food spots around the area, like The Nightingale and The Great Oak Steakhouse so you can get the best taste of Temecula while you’re here. To see our full list of food recommendations, check out our best restaurants post. If you're traveling on a budget, you can check out our cheap eats post.

Nestled in Temecula wine country, Pechanga Resort Casino is a top-tier AAA four-diamond hotel and one of the largest casino resorts in the US. Situated near old town Temecula and renowned wineries, it offers modern rooms, a rooftop nightclub, diverse dining options, and an award-winning golf course. The resort boasts an outdoor pool, full-service spa, shopping center, and access to local attractions.
Amazingly clean and friendly atmosphere in the main lobbies, restaurants and resort areas. Rooms in the resort tower were modern, comfortable and immaculate! Great views of the golf course and local hills. THE ONLY DOWN SIDE in their local Gas Station no longer sells Navajo Tacos (aka Indian Tacos). I’ll be honest in that my enthusiasm to visit this resort has lessened after they switched to chicken sandwiches. Now the next best place to get this Native delicacy is hundreds of miles and a state border crossing away. #sadface

I went for a concert, I was sooooo happy south this intimate venue. The staff was super helpful with directions, attentive, aaaaaaand looked happy to be there! I learned a lot at the resort... - they have parking near whatever you're trying to do. Great tip to call and find out before you go - did you know that Pechanga pays out 98% of their earnings! (Um, for those in the back, that means they pay you the most. For reference, Vegas pays about 75%) - did you know that a lot of the tribe works there, interns there, and participate participate - did you know that Pechanga is a group of Native American tribes that we're pushed there from the coast? - did you know that they used insight from Disney folks to build the resort for input on layout and sorts? - take a look at the awesome historical content they have there, it's really beautiful and brought in by families or donated by museums and collectors to the rightful tribes. - pro tip, they have a convenience store and gas station south of the resort before you head out. Way more economical! - did you know that professional athlete teams practice and train there? They have such a variety of entertainment and gaming there, just truly enjoy it!

I love it here. They have at least 14 bubble craps machines, and at least 6 crapless craps machines, which is my favorite game; compare that to Aria in Vegas which only has 3 on their floor. The service is better as well - the staff genuinely seems happy to be there and it reflects onto me as a guest. The rooms are a great value and very quiet. The restaurants are fantastic. I had my honeymoon here and we had the best time. The pool is wonderful! My only con is the waterslide drops into 3.5 feet of water and last time I rode it I hit my foot on the bottom and had a limp for about 3 weeks. Wish that was deeper.

I have seen many ads on this resort and went to have a weekend getaway. I stayed at the resort tower, the room is new or they maintain it very well. The casino has a lot of machines and tables for players. There are restaurants in the property that very convenient for your stay. I attended the tacos and tequila festival and it was so fun!! It’s nice to see so many vendors and try out new food.

I had a HORRID experience with Pechanga Hotel. I rent beach and baby equipment rental items. I deliver and pickup items such as strollers, carseats, cribs etc that parents rent when traveling with kids. On Friday Oct 17, I called the Pechanga front desk and asked to speak with the bell desk. I asked permission to leave an item for the customer and gave the customers name and dates. I was given a yes by the bell desk that day, that on Sat the 18, I had permission to leave the item for the customer. I believe the bell captain who gave the go ahead was Thomas. I showed up on Saturday and was immediately "greeted" by an old white very rotund male security guard outside, who must've had his cheerios pissed in, because he was insanely disrespectful when I tried to ask for help on where the proper place to temporarily park was. He ended up continuing to be curt with me and I had to go ask someone else for help because he clearly was too distraught to even do his job. I arrived at 11am on Saturday and spoke with the bellman who took the item for me and the item was delivered to the customers room. At this time on Sat, no one told me anything, and everything seemed to go smoothly. Fast forward to Sunday morning at 10am, the customer went to return the item to the front desk and was told that it's against their policy to hold any items because I'm a third party. They gave the customer no solution and refused to help them. The ladies I spoke to on the phone (I believe Bea and Sabrina were 2 of the bell desk workers and the bell captain working Sunday at 10am was also very unhelpful). I personally called and asked what they expected the customer to do with the item until I could arrive to pickup and they couldn't even come up with a solution. Here's the issue, I requested permission in advance and was told they allow it. That tells me that there is a great miscommmunication between their team and that I'm sure this isn't the first time a customer has had to deal with their negligence. It's appaling that they tried to blame the customer for something that was the bell desks own fault. This is a pathetic way to run business and I hope someone takes notice and fixes these issues. I will never recommend anyone to stay at this hotel.

Really nice experience last night here at Pechanga resort and casino. My buddy and I went to eat Kelsey's, had a great meal there. Then we went gambling and y'all can never complain when you win It was my first time here and certainly will not be the last time I come in. The better question, what took me so long?
Alexander B — Google review
When I’m in the area, I only stay at Pechanga. Rooms in the casino tower have been great. Clean clean clean! Hotel. I would give the hotel 5 stars if it was easier to self park and bring your luggage to the hotel, but the valet is cool and lets you park close in order to check in. No five stars because they wanted $100 to (maybe) have an early check in room. I guess if I were a high roller, maybe they would allow for early check in without a big cost; I know other casino- based hotels do the same thing- doesn’t mean I have to like it. LOL. . The food at the pool was marginal, but the pool area was clean and secure! I give the total experience 4.5 stars. Why stay anywhere else when you’re in the area??!! In my opinion, Pechanga has a better property layout than Morongo. Stay at Pechanga! Housekeeping great. Front desk hospitality was fine. Restaurants good, and lots of choices. Smoke-free casino, a big plus! They do have a smoking section on the upper level and behind glass doors, you never smell it.

Lovely Casino and great filtration of the air to keep it not smelling like cigarettes. Rooms are spacious with great amenities included in room. The beds are incredibly comfy. Plenty of food choices.

Restaurant
The Goat & Vine is a rustic-chic kitchen in Old Town that offers elevated comfort fare, including thin-crust pizza, sandwiches, wraps, and inventive salads. The restaurant is committed to creating honest and healthy food with integrity by making all sauces, dressings, breads, and doughs from scratch daily.
This restaurant checks all the boxes—attentive and friendly service, fresh and flavorful food, and a warm, inviting ambiance that makes you want to linger. Every dish we tried was clearly made with high-quality ingredients and care. The flavors were spot on, and the presentation was beautiful. The staff were professional and welcoming, striking just the right balance of helpful without being overbearing. Whether you're out for a special occasion or a relaxed evening, this spot delivers a consistently great experience. Highly recommend!

This place absolutely lived up to the hype. From the moment we walked in, the service was spot-on—friendly, attentive, and welcoming without being overbearing. You could tell the staff really cared about making sure everyone had a great experience. Now let’s talk about the food. Everything we ordered was incredible. The pizza crust was perfection—crispy on the outside, chewy on the inside—with rich flavors and fresh toppings that tasted like they were pulled from a garden and tossed into a wood-fired oven that morning. We had a pizza loaded with sun-dried tomatoes, fresh basil, and gooey cheese, and every bite was a dream. And that dip? Absolute magic. Bold, comforting, and topped with just the right amount of cheese—perfect for scooping up with their fresh, hot bread. You could honestly make a meal out of just that and walk away happy.

My husband and I finally tried Goat and Vine for lunch today after seeing it pop up on Yelp over and over--and wow, I'm so glad we did! I sent the link to my husband, and he immediately agreed (pretty sure the Italian-style pizzas were the deciding factor). The moment we walked in, I was impressed. The industrial-chic decor, and relaxed atmosphere make it such an inviting space to sit and enjoy a meal. We ordered the Butcher Shop Pizza--loaded with savory meats--and the Roast Turkey Bacon Avocado Melt, which was flavorful. To drink, I had the refreshing Watermelon Sangria (perfect balance of sweet and crisp), while my husband went for the God of Pour IPA. Both food and drinks were spot-on. Service was friendly and fast as well! This cute little restaurant in downtown Temecula is perfect for lunch dates, casual drinks, or even bringing the family. We're already planning to come back with the kiddos!

Amazing Pizza. This place gets a huge shoutout as their customer service was top notch. I called day of a family reunion for 15 pies and they were able to get everything ready on time and it was all spectacular. They have great prices especially when considering how delicious their pizzas taste. If you happen to dine in they have a good selection of bourbon and scotch and decent prices. Overall this place has tasty food and top notch service.

The GOAT & Vine is an absolute gem! We got takeout, and everything was fantastic. I tried the Hatch Chili Honey Chicken Stone Hearth Pizza, and it was possibly the best pizza I’ve ever had—amazing flavors and a perfect crust. My husband had a sandwich and he loved it. Even as takeout, everything was fresh and delicious. We can’t wait to order from here again and try more of the menu. Highly recommended!

We had an amazing experience at The Goat & Vine in Temecula! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt vibrant yet cozy -- a perfect blend of modern rustic and laid-back charm. The decor, warm lighting, and open bar setup made the whole space feel inviting and elevated without being stuffy. We ordered the Goat & Vine Salad and the Hatch Chile Honey Chicken Pizza, and both dishes absolutely delivered. The salad was so refreshing -- sweet strawberries, crisp greens, cherry tomatoes, and green onions tossed in a light vinaigrette, paired perfectly with a caramelized pecan-encrusted goat cheese. It was a great balance of flavors and textures. And that pizza... wow. The crust was beautifully blistered and airy, and the toppings were next-level. Juicy pulled chicken, roasted hatch chiles, cherry tomatoes, fresh herbs, and just the right drizzle of honey -- every bite was a perfect combo of savory, spicy, and a touch of sweet. You can tell the dough is made fresh and baked with care. Service was friendly and attentive, even with how busy it was. The whole dining experience felt thoughtful and well-executed. If you're in Temecula and want something beyond just wine tasting, this spot is a must. We'll definitely be back!

Love this place! Never disappoints, great food and drinks. Mine and my hubby's go to for a date night! Love the salads, pizza is a great choice and my favorite stater is for sure the hummus plater. All the needs for a lover of flavor. Accompanied with pitta, cucumbers, greek olives, tomatoes, bell peppers and crumbled feta. Sometimes thats all I need with a glass of vino!

Tried this place for a late lunch whilst visiting Temecula after reading all the good reviews. It did not disappoint! First of all our drinks were insanely good. For food we ended up splitting a pizza and the hot pretzel rolls. The rolls were so fluffy and delicious and the beer cheese was legit. The pizza was next level and one of the best we’ve ever had. Highly recommend checking this place out!!!

The Old Town Temecula Community Theater, established in 2005, is a modern proscenium theater located in the heart of Old Town Temecula. The complex includes a 361-seat theater and a separate 48-seat club-style venue known as The Merc. In addition to hosting various performing arts events, the facility also features rehearsal rooms, a spacious dance studio, and a courtyard for gatherings.
Really beautiful theater, great sound throughout, wonderful performances and I always look forward to visiting here. Such an enriching place!

Great and professional theater experience, and it's right here in our backyard! We saw Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and it was phenomenal. Perfect for a fun night on the town, dinner and a show with lots of fun places nearby after or before the show. Highly recommended!
Michael W — Google review
HIGH-QUALITY PERFORMANCES! The Old Town Temecula Community Theater is outstanding! Each event I’ve attended here has been fun and enjoyable. I’ve seen play productions, concerts, and recently the Annual Jazz Festival! The seats are SO comfortable here and there’s plenty of ramps for disabled guests. The volunteers and staff are very welcoming and helpful. The venue is intimate which allows each seat to provide a great view! The theater seats have a lot of leg room. There’s upstairs seating, but it’s limited. You can also find a small balcony section on each upper side of the theater, however, they’re also limited in space. Most seats will be found at the bottom level. The theater’s box office can be found in the neighboring venue, The Merc. Additionally, the theater has a set of restrooms across from it and a snack shop that has wine, soda. candy and other goodies. The venue is family friendly and has a great atmosphere. Being in the heart of Old Town Temecula, one has several food options before and after an event as there’s many restaurants and bars nearby! I have an appreciation for this theater as they really reach out to the community and tickets aren’t overpriced!
Lorenzo W — Google review
Most wonderful Theater!! Such a treasure and such an enrichment for the community in this town!! Great selections of shows as well! I've seen several shows there myself AND also performed there myself with the local Southwest Women's Chorus (look us up OR join!). The acoustics are superb, the staff is so friendly and helpful. The shows reach from performances of non-local artists to performances of local artist. Variety of shows are great! Really one of the best venues in the whole Temecula Valley! I recommend to buy tickets ahead of time because shows can sell out very quickly. Definitely give this Theater a visit!!
N P — Google review
Small venue, but that is a good thing. We sat in the balcony. Interestingly, the balcony is just one row of seats. That makes egress and access difficult. But the center seats in the balcony have the best view, so tripping over your neighbors is worth it!
John S — Google review
Saw Led Zepagain here and it was a great venue! Sound & lighting were were really good. Seating was comfortable. There were no signs posted for the entrance so we walk around building twice to find it. Parking is $26 in the lots & you have to pay thru your phone. Not even the lot attendant could get it to work right. I had to park 4 blocks away at the city hall parking structure, which is free but made us miss 25 minutes of the show.
Mark S — Google review
A must see when you're in town. Lots of restored old buildings, food options (try Goat and Vine restaurant) and shops. Make sure to also go down the side streets as there are other shops around that are worth visiting. Lastly, there's a public parking about 2 blocks up away from the main street that helps avoid competing in finding parking.

Great venue, not a bad seat in the house. The place has the feel of a Broadway theater, with a gorgeous outdoor courtyard serving as a lobby. Saw the Andrew Lloyd Webber spectacular and it was a great tribute to the composer! Thoroughly enjoyed it!

Old Town Temecula

(1808)
Old Town Temecula is a charming destination offering a mix of country charm and modern amenities. Visitors can enjoy wine tasting at over 30 nearby wineries, with the option for tours and hot air balloon rides over the picturesque estate. The area also boasts activities such as horseback riding through vineyards, golfing, and fishing at Lake Skinner.
Wow, this town🏘️ definitely gave me a different vibe and experience but it was delightful😊; it felt like I relived those classic American cowboy movies while I was there. Only approximately 2 hours drive from Los Angeles, Temecula is definitely unique and different from the major California cities. Built in 1880s, I was surprised at how well they preserve and maintain the building structures in this town. The place was also very clean (LA could learn a thing or two about cleanliness from this town) I arrived here at around 9PM, and the place was still lively with many people taking a stroll around the town. Unfortunately for me though, most of the shops were already closed but I had fun exploring this side of California👍🏼. Totally recommended if you are visiting Los Angeles and want to see something different, try visiting Temecula! You will be pleasantly surprised!
Hendra W — Google review
Spent the day exploring Old Town Temecula! There are so many great restaurants to choose from, and the shops are really fun to browse through. You can definitely find something you’ll like—whether it’s a little trinket or something unique from one of the boutiques. They have a great mix of clothing and other cool finds you don’t see everywhere.
Camisha E — Google review
I totally am absolutely loved it, because it reminded me so much of Virginia city, which is an authentic Gold Rush town and looks pretty much like the old Temecula town. If you go on the main street, a lot of the buildings are still original, including modern-looking 1909 Temecula hotel is one of the original buildings that has not changed since 1897. You can still rent rooms that look identical to how they looked 130 years ago, with shared bathrooms for men and women. Right before hotel temecula, if you make a left into one of the alleys, you will find the original jail. look on the Temecula City website and they'll tell you which 10 buildings are still original from 1800, most of them around old town. Makes it a lot more fun to look at before and after photos to see how things changed. Photos of the tools are from the antique shop that's at the start of the street on the west side, and these are fully restored hand tools from the late 1800s.

Old Town Temecula has a great mix of history and local charm. Tons of unique shops, great food, wine tasting rooms, and live music on the weekends. It’s super walkable and always has something going on. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.

First time ever visiting this place, loved going from business to business. Such a beautiful day love to help small businesses, we shopped and spent money great place great place to find new and interesting people and items. We will go again real soon.
Lea S — Google review
Eh, it's just ok. One street with a few side streets. Stores are pretty one dimensional, there isn't any real variety, and the parking and transportation situation is dire.
Josh L — Google review
Old Town Temcula is always a great place to visit but when you want to shop and eat there, you are in for a treat. Although parking is a challenge, as street parking and spots in town are often taken, there are a lot of parking lots away from the main street but in easy walking distance. There are lots of reasons to like this area, but for me it has to be the eclectic groups you find. The "bikers" and the "older folks" (my group) as well as the younger folks. They fill the pubs and cafes lining the main street and everyone seems happy, friendly, and having a great time. The atmosphere is positive and you can't help but being caught up in it. Don't take my word for it. Go there yourself. Anyone can read a review, but to go there, experience it and give your own review..... that's fantastic (older person term)

Ronald Reagan Sports Park, one of the largest outdoor parks in Temecula, is a sprawling 128-acre space dedicated to the 40th American President. The park boasts top-notch sports facilities including baseball diamonds, soccer fields, volleyball and basketball courts that host various events throughout the year. Families can enjoy a community center, picnic areas with BBQs, playgrounds and even special events like summer concerts and holiday celebrations.
Wow this place is cool! We stopped by to check out the new pickleball courts and they are beautiful! Love the clear signs for play expectations. Just a heads up this is in the far left top corner of the park. You have to travel on a short gravel road to get there.

Brand new splash pad that is quite awesome! 😎 🌊still has the community pool will they have swimming lessons even for adults... They also have a pretty cool 4th of July event, it does get packed so get there early... Been loving this place the past 5 years+
Jeremy M — Google review
because this was my first time, and this was during the Fourth of July event there I would have to say that it’s quite spacious and the fire department, which is right across the field up in the mountains were the ones that were in charge of the fireworks so we were able to see a lot more spectacular views of the loud fireworks popping, making me almost deaf but it was very fun to be honest. I had the best seats and the best view. We’re playing the best music and everyone was having fun although the walk back home was kind of tough going uphill but other than that, it was pretty good.

Wide open spaced park to enjoy. The only downfall is I didn't see a playground for the kiddos. But the open grassy fields offer plenty of running around space to kick a ball or set up badminton. Parking is spacious too. A great relaxing getaway! 👍😁❤️

I went for the 4th of July celebration. So I didn't really experience the park in its typical environment. What I can say is it's large. It appears to be very nice and maintained. Also, the (4th of July) celebration was phenomenal. The city really goes above and beyond. If you plan on checking it out, just make sure you arrive early, and prepare to have to walk a good distance from wherever you park. That being said, they do a great job with crowd control. Kudos!

Nestled in the heart of Temecula, The Nightingale is a delightful fine dining haven that truly caters to those with a taste for the exquisite. As you step inside, you're welcomed by an elegant ambiance and friendly staff, including owner Brad Trevithick himself. The restaurant boasts an impressive wine cellar and a diverse beer selection that complements its delectable menu. On our visit on a bustling Saturday afternoon, we were immediately struck by the vibrant atmosphere filled with fellow food enthusiasts.
The staff were all very friendly and service was quick. The specialty drinks were fantastic. Oysters were wonderful. We also got the steak. We ordered it medium rare and it came well done, but we chose to eat it without sending it back and were pleased with how good it tasted. All in all we were very pleased by the atmosphere and our experience. We will be back.

I humbly dare you to thrive on the Nightingale Experience ;) I have never been so impressed by any other food, beverage, & hospitality establishment. My husband & I are #locals and HUGE foodies, and we've probably experienced it all here in #Temecula, but WOW, Nightingale really knocked our socks off. Before I start my review, my family & I arrived on a late Saturday afternoon, the restaurant was packed & very busy. From the minute we entered the establishment, the welcoming smiles, the charming, classy décor, to the excellent, attentive, high class, quality service, to the exquisite modern #California cuisine look, feel, and taste, the simplicity of the ingredients; yet FULL of flavor, to the delightful & exciting choices of beverages (TRY THE COCKTAILS!), and finally, to the overwhelming delicious choices of desserts to choose from. On top of that even the management were working the floor at times when necessary. It's so inspiring to see the management servant-lead the staff in that way! Let me make it clear for you, reader: You're in for a real treat; settle in for a new food/restaurant #adventure here with the Nightingale. This location is wonderful for a #casual #family/work event gathering or lunch dates, not to mention the PERFECT #romantic dinner date spot in town. Not to mention, we even had our 5 month year old join us! The service was so accommodating with having our 5-month-old #baby join us. As new parents, it's not always easy to find places we enjoy that would accommodate our baby with us. We had such a wonderful time all together. These are the items we ordered: Drinks: A glass of Chardonnay Wine, a Cocktail Appetizers: In house made Bread & Butter; Clams; Butter Lead Lettuce Entrees: BONE-IN Ribeye 22oz ; Copper River King Salmon Dessert: 50/50 (Orange Creamsicle in light of the 50s era) ; Roasted Berries I noticed there was a review on YELP that says they would charge for bread & butter; (to be honest, I am not sure if they did charge our bread & butter when my husband & I were there because my husband had the check) but even if they did, let's take into consideration here that their bread was made FRESH & in-house. Not to mention their butter is from a local farm. Food critiques say, taste the bread the restaurant offers you in the beginning, you can then have an idea of how the rest of the food will come out. It takes work to get that bread & butter to the AMAZING taste it brings to the table & how it sets the tone for the whole meal experience. More so, the prices here are VERY reasonable; knowing that this restaurant focuses on quality over quantity, utilizing seasonal vegetables & fruits, local meats, and even wild-caught seafood. All important factors here to take notice that they take their business seriously! Thank you SO MUCH, Nightingale, for making this experience for my family & I such a fun & charming place to enjoy ourselves. We're so thankful for this new addition to the Temecula Valley! Our family & I plan to come back REALL soon! :)

Fantastic lunch. We shared the Nightingale salad big enough for two and loaded with blueberries, blackberries, pecans and blue cheese..delish!! We then had a pepperoni pizza that was just as delicious!! Nice lunch ambiance, friendly service.

Finally a fine dining establishment for Grown Ups! Coming from San Diego I have been waiting for a restaurant that caters to the finer things in life. This is truly a hidden gem. The restaurant is gorgeous on the inside, as you walk in you are greeted by the host, which in our case was the owner Brad Trevithick. We were sat in the main dining right next to the wine cellar. The wine list is fairly extensive and a great beer list. We had a Napa Valley, Heitz Cellar, Cabernet Sauvignon to pair with our two Tomahawk Steaks. We were eating family style so we asked them to slice the steaks for us. The steaks were prepared perfect at a medium temperature. Our Sommelier was extremely knowledgeable and personable. The atmosphere was not pretentious or over the top. The dress was casual and suitable for well behaved kiddos. Here is what is awesome. While it was crowded, it was not busy. Not a lot of people know about this place yet. It is owned by the same folks that do the Goat and Vine. Everything is prepared on premise including the noodles and I believe locally sourced. Next year at this time you won't be able to just walk in I guarantee. Get in while you can. Simply fantastic, and adequately priced. We will be back.

The food and service were incredible. It's difficult to decide on what to order because everything is amazing. Ordered the Cioppino and Carrot Cake for dessert.

Amazing food! You have to try it!!! Best steak in the area. And the desserts are phenomenal.

I liked it. I had a filet and it was cooked perfectly. Prices not too high and ambience was fine for small group of 4. Would recommend for the pasta dishes, they looked great also. Bar was not over crowded, which is always nice when waiting for the rest of your party.

Steak house
The Great Oak Steakhouse, situated within the Pechanga Resort Casino, provides a sophisticated dining experience with classic steakhouse offerings and an extensive wine selection. Indulge in 100% Prime Black Angus beef and decadent dishes like lobster mac & cheese and au gratin potatoes, perfectly paired with Temecula Valley wine selections.
In the corner booth beneath the low hum of the chandelier, I sat with a Tristan lobster tail and a silent ache in my chest. The world outside spun too fast, too sharp, too much. But here, at the Great Oak Steakhouse, time softened—thanks to Ken. Ken wasn’t just a server. He was a gentle constant in a world of chaos. With every chilled shrimp cocktail, he offered more than food—he brought peace, a subtle kind that doesn’t announce itself but quietly settles in. He remembered my name even when I was trying to forget it myself. He smiled like someone who had found a secret worth keeping. He didn’t pry. He didn’t preach. He just brought warm plates and cool comfort, over and over again. I never learned Ken’s story in full—only pieces. That he lived simply, that he loved to read, and that he dreamed of quiet mornings with books instead of menus. But I think that’s the thing about Ken. He’s not meant to be unraveled. He’s meant to be felt. He reminded me of a villager in Minecraft—steady, kind, undisturbed. He moved with purpose, but never pushed. I don’t know what Ken was trying to teach me, or even if he knew he was teaching at all. Maybe the lesson is in how he didn’t try. He just showed up. With kindness. With shrimp. With grace. Maybe that’s all we ever really need from anyone.

Sophisticated and romantic steakhouse inside the Pechanga Casino. We reserved for 6:45 but couldn't make it til 7. It was too much traffic and we had difficulty finding the parking structure. Anyhow we're late but they were nice enough to accommodate us. Service was very friendly. Good was great. We ordered the bone marrow for appetizer, that was don delicious. Their bread basket is excellent. Steak and sea bass were fantastic. Portion are not huge and just right. Very romantic place I might add. Great for a night out for dinner and have some fun gambling!!!

It's excellent service and service mind staffs. The food we order is acceptable. King crab leg is salty for me but my husband like it. Salmon is good. Side dish Brussels sprouts is like in the picture it seem like it's burn but it's not burned yet. So it make the taste weird foe me.

We knew this place was on the pricey side, but $38 for just very small six oysters felt a bit over the top. The food was good and the atmosphere was beautiful, no doubt about that. However, our evening was kind of overshadowed by our server’s overly fake cheerful attitude — the kind of “over-friendly” small talk she was doing at every table. It just felt unnatural and a bit exhausting to listen to. Overall, it was a nice experience to try once, but I probably wouldn’t come back.

We stopped by Oak steakhouse for dinner me and my family. I ordered Seabass and we also ordered several steaks.. The Sea bass itself was good however, I did not really particularly like the sauce that it was drenched in. It was not very flavorful, and it had like an aftertaste that I did not enjoy. The steaks were delicious. We ordered medium steaks, and somehow they were not all medium some of them were more rare than the others but overall the steaks were flavorful juicy. The service was OK. The person that took our order was not the same person that brought our orders out so we were wondering if we had received the dishes we ordered because we ordered several dishes that were identical and I had asked for my food to be cooked differently due to my allergies, we were left wondering if I had the right dish or not. The salad and bread was good.

I want to share my disappointing experience during my anniversary dinner. We asked for a quiet spot, but instead, we were seated next to a loud group with young children, which made it hard to enjoy our evening. The food was not good at all. The chicken was tough and hard to chew, and some of the dishes seemed undercooked. To make matters worse, I ended up with food poisoning from one of their special meals, which made me feel horrible for two days. I definitely won’t be going back to this restaurant, and I can’t recommend it to anyone. There’s more I could say, but I’ll just summarize by saying that this meal ruined our anniversary, and we never received any apology or follow-up from them. Overall, it was an awful experience. To make matters worse I have to admit yes we paid for a meal that got me sick for two days.

Steak was too dry. Ordered 2 steaks, one that they said had a lot of marbling and the other a little marbling. Both came in too charred and too dry, no fats at all. Only end up eating for 3-5 minutes (regarding steak only) before we decided the food was not worth it. Tasted a lot of good steakhouses, some higher priced than here and some lesser priced, but still this is a one star experience for the taste. Even the asparagus not so much. Talked to the manager about it and they took it off our bill. Lobster bisque was good though. Ambience wise its pretty.
Julienne L — Google review
This is nothing but an overpriced steakhouse calling itself a fine dining establishment. The food is way overpriced and nothing special. Trust me, we have travelled the world and this is not a high class establishment. The atmosphere was horrible when we went there. I couldn't even talk to my wife over the table full of drunks next to us yelling to each other. The establishment and waiter did nothing to quiet them down and provide a good atmosphere for the patrons!!!! It would have been more enjoyable to eat at Chuck-e-cheese! For over $300, it was definitely not worth it. Save your money and go to the Lone Star.

Buffet restaurant
The Pechanga Buffet at the Pechanga Resort & Casino is a typical buffet eatery offering a range of American and international cuisine. It opens at 9 am on Sundays, and there was no wait when visited around 9:10 am. The place was very clean, and all the food items were well-stocked. If you have a Pechaga Game Card as a Silver Member, you can get $3.00 off per person.
Great quality dishes and beyond excellent service! Our servers are always running around to supply the table with everything we need. This is a high-end Vegas resort style buffet with tons of selections to choose from. Great for families. There are long lines on special occasions but it is well worth it. When the line is excessively long, they even send a cart of bread sticks and water bottles down the line to make sure everyone is comfortable.

We went on Sunday morning, got there about 9:10. It opens at 9 on Sundays. No wait, very clean and everything was stocked. We had a Pechaga Game Card, $3.00 off each person for Silver Members. $29.00 regular price brunch, worth every penny. Great variety from King crab legs, carving station, fresh pizza's and decadent desserts. The Asian food was bland and generic but everything else I tried was good. The prime rib was cooked perfect, but could of used seasoning. Be ready to eat when you come here.
Carmen G — Google review
The woman serving the hot crab legs was really sweet and also the reason they got any stars at all! She had a big smile each time we went back and asked for me. Sje was really cool. I don't know her name her picture is posted here. If Pechanga reads the reviews they get, hopefully they will see her and give her a raise and promotion. Having said that let's talk about the food. The Prime Rib was good but the crust was gritty and tasted like it had been dropped in dirt. The inside of the meat had good flavor but the gritty dirt like crust made it inedible. The beef ribds were ok. I didn't see any bbq sauce and when I asked the server for bbq sauce they came back A1. Great for steaks but not what I want on my ribs. The main reason we came was for the crab legs! They were old and tasted like they had been recycled. That was disappointing. I think maybe the reason being is that they use them for as long as they can before throwing them out. The drawn butter also had a strange taste that made me wonder if it was really but or margarine or some sort of weird butter substitute. The desserts looked much bettter than they tasted but that's ok because I'm not much of a sweet eater anyway. The ONLY good server was the crab leg lady. We were ignored complex by the wait staff. Had to put a napkin on the table so we could have something to put the crab shells on. We watched them bring silver buckets to other tables but not ours. Finally when I saw a man putting crab shells in the bucket, I asked if we could have one too. It took them about 15 minutes to bring one and I had to ask twice. I watched them ask other tables if they needed more to drink but no one came to us and asked. To add insult to injury, everytime I tried to get one of the waiters attention, they looked past me and continued walking. In order to get refills on the drinks I had to track down one of the women who walk around wearing black sweaters and ask them. They would ask the waiters and then we would get drink. This happened EVERY TIME! Please also note that they were not crowded when we went. In fact the restaurant was almost empty. The. service was almost nonexistent and the food was just below mediocre. There was nothing abour tje experience that makes me want to return. Haven't decided whether or not I will go back or not. Sometimes people say things are better the 2nd time or maybe they were having an off night but since I don't like to waste good money I may never know.

We had an amazing time! The service was amazing! Any concerns were taken care of and we were treated like queens on Mother's day! Still love Morongs Buffet the best but we stayed in. Jr suite and it was gorgeous. They provided so much. You really only need your make up. The view from our room was spectacular. Management was attentive. We will be back soon!

It was all about the seafood buffet on Friday night. Expect to wait about 30 minutes unless you have the gold players card. Big whole lobster, oyster, seafood.

My husband got a bad oyster. Told the manager, didnt offer any kind of compesation or anything. Which is awful customer service. Since we paid before we even got our food. Could have offered free game play or something as compensation for a bad experience.

Step into the lively and retro atmosphere of Coin-Op Game Room Temecula, where you can enjoy a wide selection of classic arcade games, pinball machines, and sports games. Whether you're looking for a fun night out with friends or a place to unwind, this spot has something for everyone. With 12 beers on tap and specialty ciders, along with a cocktail program, it's the perfect place to relax and enjoy some drinks while playing your favorite games.
This place is awesome. They let you taste beers before you order one (make sure you enjoy it) I also asked for a citrusy cocktail recommendation. The concoction was spot on!! Of course the arcade games are great as well

My husband and I went here on a Sunday night for a super rare date night (toddler parents), and we were pleased to find out it’s family friendly until 8 pm! The games are super cheap. Free gaming on the last Sunday of the month. Margarita was 🙏🙏🙏!!! The gluten free pizza slaps - had to take it to go because it got late. But, the service was amazing!!! Janel, you’re great and we appreciated meeting you!!

The female bartender wasn't friendly. She was actually low key rude. We ordered a madori sour an a beer. She didn't even add the vodka to my drink. Went to play the skee-ball game an it took our money. When I let her know all she gave me was 50cents an was like she was by herself an had no one to help with games. Was excited to try this place but ended up disappointed.

This is my favorite place in Temecula! We brought the family to meet up with my in-laws for Wine Tasting and once I found this place, I couldn't wait to come back. My kids (16 and 8) are having a blast and actually eating! The beer on tap is great. My wife loved the Strawberry infused Gin mixed drink. Pizza, garlic knots, fried pickles and mozzarella sticks are all amazing! Makes me wish there was one in Phoenix! Anytime we come through in the future, you can be sure that the kids AND adults will want to come back to Coin-Op Game Room first!

Coin-op is the ULTIMATE spot to hangout in Old Town Temecula. The drinks here are great and the bartenders serving them are even better. The staff is happy and you can tell they enjoy working here. They’ve got bar food like pizza, hotdogs, burgers and the quality is great. This isn’t questionable pub food you may expect from a dive. The food is good and way faster to a quick bite here than any other bar. If you’ve got kids, the arcade games are a great way to entertain them. We always take visitors here and even if we show them other parts of old town we end up back at Coin-op.

I had a legendary night here. Im from North Carolina, so it was a new experience. Dash, John Paul, and Adrian took great care of me and my friends, I even cried on John Paul's shoulder, and I didnt even know him 😂 Real good people here, if you wanna have a good time, alcohol or not, this is the place to be Much love - Dar Overbey
T O — Google review
I think this place is struggling to find its identity. Is it an arcade, or just another bar? Half the games don’t work, and if you mention something to staff, they’ll just pass you off. The Game Lab in Riverside is a much better experience. The drinks are stronger, staff is more attentive, and they let people know when games are down. Coin Op… not so much. They have a long ways to go, and they should start by improving their customer service. Even the Security do a lackluster job, and are more concerned with flirting with customers than watching the door. You can literally walk right past them and they’ll be clueless. Bartenders are also rude, especially the one with the longish beard. I mentioned that a game was a down and he threw coins at me and said “here’s enough to not bother me again.” In summary, the vibes are off at Coin Op. If you want a lackluster experience, pay $20 for bad drinks, and lose your money on games that don’t work, Coin Op is the place to go.

First time here and we were pleasantly surprised. Great game selection for a smaller place. ALL of the staff was very inviting and knowledgeable about the menu. Bryan was our first encounter and he's was nothing short of spectacular and provided excellent service. This place dies not have your average bar food, you can tell the cooks put a lil love into the food they make. All in all this was 10/10 experience and we will most definitely be back when we are in the area. Thank you to the entire staff for making it such a great first experience 🙂
