Steak house
Salt Rock Grill is a renowned beachside restaurant in Florida, offering prime cuts of USDA-sourced beef, fresh seafood, and an extensive wine selection. The steaks are aged for 4-6 weeks and grilled over a natural oak and citrus open pit fire. The restaurant provides a more upscale dining experience with views of the Intracoastal Waterway. Guests can also enjoy classic favorites like pizza or burgers at nearby dining options.
5 STARS! We had a waiter named Guy and he was the best of the best. Fantastic service, the food was great, prices are very fair given this class of restaurant. Good size menu with an even bigger drink menu. The dessert that comes with the supper club is quite small but this is to be expected; it’s free/included! The pork chop was amazing, key lime oysters and scallops were also incredible. If you’re reading this, stop reading and go eat at the Salt Rock!

I had the fresh catch with dulce butter and the swordfish nuggets. Both were very good. The restaurant was busy when we got there and even busier when we left. I felt bad for our server. He seemed to be alone on the patio, so the service was a bit slow. I enjoyed the food. The patio on the water was lovely. I'm not sure I would go back. The hype wasn't worth it.

Salt Rock Grill in Indian Rocks Beach is truly a gem on the Gulf Coast! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere felt classy yet comfortable — the dining room was spotless, modern, and had that upscale feel without being stuffy. Everything was well-kept, and the ambiance gave me the impression that the staff really takes pride in the restaurant. The seafood here is next-level. Everything tasted incredibly fresh, perfectly seasoned, and cooked just right. You can tell they know how to highlight the natural flavors without overdoing it. It’s the kind of place where you can trust that what’s on your plate came straight from the water to the kitchen. The people were just as impressive as the food. The staff was welcoming, attentive, and genuinely friendly. From greeting us at the door to making sure our table was taken care of the whole night, the service felt smooth and professional while still being warm and personal. If you’re looking for a place that combines high-quality seafood, excellent service, and a classy, clean setting, Salt Rock Grill is absolutely worth it. Whether you’re a local in Indian Rocks Beach or visiting the area, this is a must-stop spot that really showcases what fine dining on the coast should feel like.

Absolutely amazing food! We came as a party of 4 with no reservations, definitely recommend one, but an hour wait at 6pm on Saturday is not bad at all. Our waiter was amazing and knew the menu and specials off the top of his head, he was attentive, and made sure we were taken care of. Our appetizers and food were to die for. I had the filets wrapped in bacon with a tail and garlic mash. I like my steak rare and they absolutely nailed it, it was so tender and tasty! Everyone at the table enjoyed their food.

Outstanding Dining Experience! I wish I had found this place sooner! We had the best experience at Salt Rock Grill — the food, atmosphere, and service were absolutely top-notch. Every detail was perfect, from the best sangria I’ve ever had to the delicious apple cobbler for dessert. They’re known for their fresh seafood and perfectly cooked steaks, and everything we ordered exceeded expectations. It’s the kind of place where you’ll want to dress up a little and really enjoy the evening. A great tip: if you’re seated before 5:30 PM, you can take advantage of their early bird specials with fantastic pricing on meals and drinks. This restaurant has easily become my new favorite — I can’t wait to go back!

Salt Rock Grill always is a good experience. The food is always tasty and comes out perfectly cooked. The cocktails are strong but palatable. Also, shout out to our server Jerry - who gave us wonderful suggestions and the perfect amount of attention. Every server there seems great, but he was amazing.

Came to Florida with my family of 5 on my daughters Make A Wish Iowa trip. This was our first place we ate after arriving at our Airbnb. I cannot say enough great things about this place!! I have to start with the best part of the whole experience- Jason, our waiter. He was quite literally the best waiter we’ve had ever, anywhere. He made our dinner, and our day! He took some beautiful family photos for us, which was so kind of him! The food was phenomenal… like absolute perfection! My partner had ribeye with a baked potato, I had a NY strip and garlic mashed potatoes, my oldest had fried shrimp and fries, my middle had steak and fried shrimp with mashed potatoes and my youngest had chicken strips and fries. Everything was delicious! After enjoying a beautiful dinner, we went to check out the boats per John’s recommendation. He said sometimes there’s dolphins, and sure enough we saw several super close! The apple pie and ice cream is top tier. 10/10 for the entire place!

Food was good. We ordered appetizers and got them after our dinners were out. Food was ok. Not worth the amount we spent but our server was amazing. Wouldn't come back for sure but it was an interesting experience.

Smuggler's Cove Adventure Golf in Indian Shores, Florida offers an exciting pirate-themed mini-golf experience with 18 adventure-style holes. The course winds through a pirate ship, caves, and waterfalls, providing a fun challenge for all ages. Visitors can also enjoy feeding live alligators using cane fishing poles at the American alligator exhibit. After the game, families can relax at the clubhouse with drinks and snacks before embarking on their next adventure.
We loved our visit!! This is a great place to bring the family. Drinks, snacks, a chance to win a free game or coupon, alligators that you can FEED... The staff were very friendly!! Some things to consider before you visit... families of YOUNG kids, there's one bathroom and if you're in the middle of the course you have quite a hike to get to a potty. Young potty trainers beware. ALSO, lots and lots and lots of stairs. Not stroller friendly or handicap friendly. This is not a dig at the business, as they are very open about these limitations even from the signs in the parking lot. We loved our visit and will be coming back! 🩷🩷🩷

Pros: - Well designed. - Friendly Staff. - Fun & Challenging Course. - Beautiful views. Notes: - A bit on the Pricey Side. - Lots of Stairs (Wasn't bad for me). - Offered mystery hole game for hole in ones. (Could win a free game, I did!) Overall beautiful course that will keep you on your toes. Worth the stop, would play again.
Brandon F — Google review
This was definitely one of the best miniature golf courses I've been to. Not super challenging but still took some skill and thought. Lots of elevation change which makes things more dun. Even just walking around the course was nice. It's and very clean and well kept course. The staff were friendly. Feeding the alligators was a pretty cool little extra. It's definitely a little pricier than I expected but we're were on vacation so not a big deal. It'll be pretty expensive if you're bringing a big family though.
Michael R — Google review
Such a fun course and awesome atmosphere. Would definitely recommend. Family friendly if you don’t mind the stairs as strollers are not allowed. They even have gator bait for sale ($5 for 4 treats) and you are able to feed the live gators on site!
Denise S — Google review
Lots of fun. Course is definitely bigger than it seems and feeding the alligators is a unique touch! Staff is very friendly and they sell beer…even better is every hole has places you can put your drinks while you putt! We truly had a wonderful time highly recommend.
Erica W — Google review
We had so much fun playing putt putt here! The course is quite creative and kept us on our toes! Tom took care of us when we came in. He was super friendly and helpful!
Lisa T — Google review
When we played it was super hot out and we still had a fun time! Definitely family friendly and well kept up, polite staff and overall just good old fashioned clean wholesome fun.
Mark P — Google review
Yes, mini golf on the beach is pricey, and can be hot... but this is the place to go. Wonderful course, well maintained, nice views, benches and cup holders at each hole, and super nice people. We visited 2 hours before close one day in peak summer season and waited 45 minutes and still weren't to the first hole, which wasn't working for us with two older players ans one young child in the party. 100% not the fault of the business. We asked if we could come back the next morning instead of slowly playing only partway through (closing time is a legit closing time here) and they gave us a stamp on the receipt to come back any time. On our way out they told us their least busy times thst were still friendly for our older players sensitive to sun exposure. Two seniors, two adults, and one child almost cracked $100 before getting to the first green. Snacks were a bit more on top after (and you'll want a cold drink if it's hot outside). Still, this is the right place to go for some mini golf if you're wanting to literally putt around a bit.

Indian Shores Coffee is a warm and inviting cafe with a funky vibe, featuring an organic coffee selection and light bites including gluten-free options. The cafe offers an inviting patio surrounded by lush plants, creating a secret garden atmosphere where guests can relax at mismatched iron tables and chairs. The menu includes signature lattes, fresh baked pastries, and breakfast sandwiches on ciabatta bread.
Stopped in on Friday with my wife. Indoor/ outdoor seating. Coffee is great. We had Cold Brew and a Cafe Americano. Blueberry Muffins and Breakfast Sandwiches were fantastic! Great atmosphere and staff is very friendly. Prices are very reasonable. Definitely worth a visit! We will return soon!

This was the best discovery of our trip! The gal that took our orders was the sweetest, incredibly helpful, and patient with our indecisiveness. The Coconut Dream was delicious and their cinnamon rolls made fresh on the weekend were SO good. It’s like a happy cinnamon roll muffin. Their breakfast sandwiches were larger than we expected which was perfect for the growing 15 yr old boy that never stops eating. The croissants were also delicious, I got the spinach and ricotta with my cinnamon roll and have no regrets. Get the baked goods here!! The cutest vibe inside and my favorite, the outdoor seating!!

My fiance and I just took a week long trip to Indian Shores for our first time. We stayed in the Pointe condos almost directly across the street from Indian Shores Coffee. I think we went there 4/7 days. We absolutely loved the iced Carmel sutra coffee and appreciated they had it in sugar free! I’m not a pastry person, but I’ll be the first to tell you that the muffins looked so good I couldn’t resist. We had apple cinnamon twice and banana walnut. We also tried the bacon egg and cheese sandwich, the everything croissant, and last but not least, we were fortunate enough to be able to get their cinnamon rolls right as we were leaving to go home on Saturday. Wow. I think they were the best cinnamon rolls we have ever had. They will change your life! We can’t wait to come back. The staff were some of the most pleasant and friendly people you will come across. Can’t recommend this place enough!

The coffee was decent, but honestly wasn’t strong enough for the coffee lovers in our family. The people working at the counter were very cheery and got the line moving fast. Great customer service! We enjoyed sitting on the patio.

Indian shores coffee is a hidden gem!! The coffee is amazing and one of the best in the area. The café is small and most seating is outside but a covered porch is available. The staff are inclusive and welcoming and the interior is unique. Delicious cinnamon buns and prices are good for being on the beach. Dog friendly and usually quiet midday.

Each category merits more than 5 stars. Coffee is great! Baked goods made in the kitchen. The cafe and decor make for a nostalgic vibe. We went here several times during our week in this area, in part due to the wonderful staff!!! It was nice to be greeted by kind people in the morning.

Original Pizza & Restaurant is a long-standing family-run establishment known for its Sicilian-style thin-crust pizzas, subs, and hearty Italian dishes. The casual and welcoming atmosphere makes it a great spot to enjoy a variety of pizza options such as cheese, pepperoni, sausage, or veggie, along with the opportunity to customize your own toppings. In addition to pizzas, they offer calzones, strombolis, subs, and salads.
Very good pizza. About the best you can do without a brick oven. Nice chewy crust perfectly cooked. The mozzarella was high quality and the sauce tasty. Great little family owned place. We’ll definitely be back often. Update: stopped in for lunch and got a sausage pizza. Just as good as the first time I came here. Going to try the sandwiches next time.
Tim C — Google review
The cheese pizza was good, the pepperoni pizza was really good, and the spinach pizza was pretty good, the mushrooms were too much. The house salad wasn't bad for $3 and the Greek salad was really good. Staff was really friendly and would recommend this place. Kind of pricey ($69 for 3 large pizzas and two salads)
Shayler L — Google review
The pizza was a little above average but the garlic knots were the best I have ever had. The place was clean. The staff was super friendly. Price was average.
Bee — Google review
The place looks nice has plenty of seating with your options of sitting inside or outside. We sadly didn't eat here this day because they had a very limited menu and happened that none of what we wanted they had. The staff was friendly and nice but the lack of food made us move on maybe when they have a full menu back we will revisit this location.
Maikol ( — Google review
Delivery not available. Only downside. Pizza was deliciously hot! Marinara for garlic knots or bread served hot!! Which I love. So many places serve marinara sauce cold. Salad is a generous portion. Would definitely eat here again when visiting the beach.

Best gluten free Pizza I‘ve ever had. The owner is very friendly and told us a lot interesting things about his life. 10/10

Quite the gem. Staff was very friendly. We ordered the Italian sub and Meatball sub. Both we're excellent with a homemade sub roll. Prices were very fair. Will be back.

Small, cute, little family business. The puzza was a little more greasy than what Id prefer, but still very good. Garlic bread with cheese was really good.
