Seaside Seabird Sanctuary was an enjoyable experience. It was smaller than I thought but had many birds. There were tons of pelicans, and I loved the small aquarium with all the fish and sea creatures. It was pretty loud with all the birds squawking, but it was fun to see them all up close. Definitely worth a visit.
This place is amazing. Right on the beach and they’re saving birds – how cool. Gorgeous top deck to go sit on if you want to relax in the shade with the wind and have a lovely beach view for a little while after seeing all of the adorable birds that they are helping (pelicans, bald eagle, parrots, owls, etc.). Please consider giving too. What a good cause. Plenty of free parking and it’s donations only. There is a lovely gift shop too that we got some cool stuff at. Oh, and they have an aquatic section (lionfish, eel, sea, snake, etc.).
If you're in the area and like birds you should stop by. I think it's worth it just to see the gigantic white pelicans. It's free, but bring some cash for a donation, or make one on their website if you don't have any. They are doing good work here, so show your support and appreciation.
We really enjoyed seeing all the birds. We were surprised to see bird visitors not in enclosures just hanging around as well. A bunch of their birds have been named which is kinda cool. The bald eagle is named Roosevelt and it seemed to fit him. There were tons of pelicans, way more than expected. We were really disappointed that we waited for the pelican feeding at 2:30pm but at 2:45 there was still no feeding, so we left. We stayed about 30 minutes longer than we needed to so we could see the feeding that never happened. It didnt ruin the experience but jt was a bit of a let down which is why we deducted a star.
Wonderful little sanctuary that is free to visit! Visited on a weekday and was able to park in their front lot. They also have free parking in an overflow lot as well. You can tell the staff love the birds and keep the place well taken care of. I encourage everyone to make sure to drop something in their donation drops located throughout the sanctuary. Their gift shop is also very reasonably priced.
A beautiful place doing amazing work! The sanctuary is peaceful, educational, and full of rescued seabirds being cared for with love. Perfect for a relaxing visit and supporting a great cause.
This is an interesting stop for 30 minutes or so. They had some nice birds to look at and had few tanks with turtle, fish and an eel. Fun for kids and old guys who think they're kids.
Love the mission! Right on the beach and so many cool birds to see. They save birds and teach you fun facts about them. It was easy to park. They have owls and vultures! So glad I checked it out. It's free to get in, but they do take donations.

We loved our visit!! This is a great place to bring the family. Drinks, snacks, a chance to win a free game or coupon, alligators that you can FEED... The staff were very friendly!! Some things to consider before you visit... families of YOUNG kids, there's one bathroom and if you're in the middle of the course you have quite a hike to get to a potty. Young potty trainers beware. ALSO, lots and lots and lots of stairs. Not stroller friendly or handicap friendly. This is not a dig at the business, as they are very open about these limitations even from the signs in the parking lot. We loved our visit and will be coming back! 🩷🩷🩷
Pros: - Well designed. - Friendly Staff. - Fun & Challenging Course. - Beautiful views. Notes: - A bit on the Pricey Side. - Lots of Stairs (Wasn't bad for me). - Offered mystery hole game for hole in ones. (Could win a free game, I did!) Overall beautiful course that will keep you on your toes. Worth the stop, would play again.
This was definitely one of the best miniature golf courses I've been to. Not super challenging but still took some skill and thought. Lots of elevation change which makes things more dun. Even just walking around the course was nice. It's and very clean and well kept course. The staff were friendly. Feeding the alligators was a pretty cool little extra. It's definitely a little pricier than I expected but we're were on vacation so not a big deal. It'll be pretty expensive if you're bringing a big family though.
Such a fun course and awesome atmosphere. Would definitely recommend. Family friendly if you don’t mind the stairs as strollers are not allowed. They even have gator bait for sale ($5 for 4 treats) and you are able to feed the live gators on site!
Lots of fun. Course is definitely bigger than it seems and feeding the alligators is a unique touch! Staff is very friendly and they sell beer…even better is every hole has places you can put your drinks while you putt! We truly had a wonderful time highly recommend.
We had so much fun playing putt putt here! The course is quite creative and kept us on our toes! Tom took care of us when we came in. He was super friendly and helpful!
When we played it was super hot out and we still had a fun time! Definitely family friendly and well kept up, polite staff and overall just good old fashioned clean wholesome fun.
Yes, mini golf on the beach is pricey, and can be hot... but this is the place to go. Wonderful course, well maintained, nice views, benches and cup holders at each hole, and super nice people. We visited 2 hours before close one day in peak summer season and waited 45 minutes and still weren't to the first hole, which wasn't working for us with two older players ans one young child in the party. 100% not the fault of the business. We asked if we could come back the next morning instead of slowly playing only partway through (closing time is a legit closing time here) and they gave us a stamp on the receipt to come back any time. On our way out they told us their least busy times thst were still friendly for our older players sensitive to sun exposure. Two seniors, two adults, and one child almost cracked $100 before getting to the first green. Snacks were a bit more on top after (and you'll want a cold drink if it's hot outside). Still, this is the right place to go for some mini golf if you're wanting to literally putt around a bit.

The crew at Island Marine Rentals were wonderful! It was a very windy day, so we stayed in the ICW and I'm so glad we did. We got to see an area we've been visiting for years from a whole new perspective. The staff is friendly, courteous, and thorough in explaining the vessel features and local waterways. We ABSOLUTELY will be back!
Very professional staff, and I had a great experience kayaking for the first time. I went with a friend and we went off on our without a guide. Highly recommend, especially since they are a small business.
This made our trip to Florida worth it! I grew up fishing and boating around Clearwater. My kids have never been to Florida and I wanted them to see what some of my fondest memories were when I was growing up. We reserved a boat with Island Marina in advance to coming down. Obviously Florida weather doesn't always cooperate and that made us a little nervous. The crew at the IMR assured us that they would do their best to accommodate our rental and would work with us if the weather didn't work in our favor. We contacted them the weekend before because it appeared that the day we had scheduled was going to be 70% chance of rain. They scheduled us for a different day, no questions asked. When we arrived on the scheduled day they greeted us with a smile, helped us unload everything from the car and loaded it on the boat for us while we went in and did the paperwork. The boat was great and customer service was fantastic! Everyone had an amazing time and the area is still as beautiful as ever. I hope we get to do this again soon.
Friendly service. Great with last minute reservations and extensions of rental time. Prices are in line with the market (but still is pricey). If you haven't boated before on the inland waterway or ocean, you will want to go with a longer boat (helps steady the ride). I would not recommend a pontoon unless you are staying in the narrows and going less than 10 MPH.
I usually don’t write reviews, but felt this one was deserved. We couldn’t be more happy about our experience here. All staff were above and beyond kind and friendly from the start. They were able to fit us in on short notice and we appreciated that. Our captain Chris made our experience memorable and relaxed. He was very informative about the area and made us feel like we were more than just some tourists. We were able to see sting ray, a manatee, and lots of dolphins. We got everything we hoped for and more. He was great with our kids and it didn’t take long for our shy one to warm up and have fun. We would definitely come back and do it again.
Neil and his team are the best. This is a family owned company and has been for decades. They work extremely hard, have great boats and are very fair priced.
Best from Clearwater Beach to St Pete Beach. Family owned. Newest rental equipment. Great friendly staff. Numerous awards. Reasonable rates and weather cancellation accommodations. Over 10 years in business. All their equipment is top of the line. Up to 250hp Yamaha outboard motors for their boats. The best Garmin GPS tracking for your safety and so the staff can monitor weather etc, to keep you safe. Friendly instructions. videos, maps, preprogrammed GPS equipment, Island Marine Rentals is the best and largest boat and pontoon rental business from Clearwater Beach (the worlds #1 beach for soaking in the sun), Sand Key, IRB, Indian Shores, St. Pete Beach, Shell Key, Treasure Island, They have THE LARGEST PONTOON BOAT on the entire beach that you can rent out. It can hold UP TO 12, 14 and even 18 PEOPLE on their well stocked pontoon boats (They have 3 boats just for those trips). Want to go fast, you can still take up to 12 people out on the Gulf in open bowed Hurricane Deck boats with 250HP Yamaha engines. Single and double person kayaks. Standing paddle boards, scooters, bikes, bikes, and more bikes. While you're there check out what everybody is trying out on the beach, the "SCOOT COUPE". A Scoot Coupe has 3 wheels and is powered with a small engine like their single and double rider 2 wheel scooters. Only in a Scoot Coupe you sit inside what effectively is like a mini car. They can go 30 to 35 miles an hour which is perfect because that the speed limit on Gulf Blvd. And the lastest thing is they now have personal captains to take you on your own private tour where you can watch the dolphins jump and follow your guided boat., Keep a sharp look out for manatees as they like to float just below the surface. There are so many fun things to do when you hook up with the folks of Island Marine Rentals. A family business that will welcome you with a smile and make sure EVERYTHING is taken care of. There are no lazy captains or mates here. Ice chests, ice, paddles, whistles, life jackets, roof racks for paddle boards, kayaks and bikes. Oh, the even have beach wheels to help you roll your paddle board or kayak right across the street to the gulf. Centrally located in the middle of the #1 beaches in Florida, you have your choice to go North or South and get their the fastest for more play time at your island get away.
We always make sure to find time to rent a boat for the day here. Everyone is so nice. We Have been renting here for 30 years

We had the best time with Captain Greg! We had a playful pod of dolphins that we watched at the start of the tour, plus time spent at the sand bar collecting shells was great. I would highly recommend this for anyone who loves marine life!
We can’t say enough good things about our trip with Captain Greg! He went above and beyond from the time of booking to even after our trip when I had local questions! We saw some of the coolest things including dolphins! What really stood out to us is Captain Greg’s knowledge and compassion for marine life! We were blown away by what we learned and our kids are still talking about it! Captain Greg provided us with so many local things to do and places to eat in addition to the wonderful trip we took! We will definitely be back and will book with Sea-N-Things again and again!
What an amazing trip! I have been on many a sunset cruises, but none like with Capt. Greg. Although our trip was with two adults, I can see how this would be amazing for families with kids of all ages. Fun, educational & great conversations. What more could you ask for. I will be back with my nieces and nephews for sure.
Captain Greg has been our captain for a couple trips now. His excursions are nothing short of phenomenal. I love the personal experience you get with Greg versus a large charter. He is beyond knowledgeable of the waters and creatures within. He is also very accommodating when it comes to bookings but be sure to book early as his time slots fill up quickly!! We will definitely be booking more excursions with Captain Greg in the future!
We had a fabulous time on our Sandbar dolphin boat ride with Captain Greg. It was my husband, teen daughter and Mother in law along for the ride. Greg promptly texted me back with available times and prices. We booked without a deposit which is so nice of Greg to do. He was right on time with a spotlessly clean and comfortable boat to begin our journey. He was extremely knowledgable with a great sense of humor. We saw a pod of dolpins right off the bat playing in the wake of a large passing boat. That was worth it right there for me! We got to see and hold so many neat sea creatures at the sand bar. My daughter fell in love with a spider crab that she named Eugene (SpongeBob reference) and was sad that she had to part with it. I would highly recommend this tour...you wil not be disappointed. Captain Greg's love for the sea shines through the entire journey! We will be back for the sunset tour next time for sure!
Another great experience with Capt Greg. It’s become a must do when in the area. Greg is patient, knowledgeable, and fun. Exploring the sand bar is the highlight of trips to the area. Definitely add this to your itinerary
Gregg was a great tour guide, very knowledgeable, and great with kids. We saw dolphins and got to explore the sand bar. We leaned so much about the unique sea life. Way better than commercial charters, If you are in the area this is a must!
If you are looking for an amazing and personal experience this is where to find it. Captain Greg was the best and friendliest tour guide. Very knowledgeable about everything you may encounter. Perfect setting for myself and my family!! This is so much better than the big group boat tours. We did the dolphin and sunset cruise and couldn’t be happier!
Sea-N-Things Boat Trips is hands down a MUST when in the area! The girls and I were in town celebrating a birthday and Captain Greg was perfect for us! He taught us so much while exploring the sandbar and did everything he could for us to see more and more dolphins! Pick up and drop off was a breeze, cooler was iced down for our drinks, payment was easy, and he was super patient with one of the girls who wasn’t a huge explorer. Hands down - the best tour you’ll ever experience!
We had a great time on our SandBar trip. I have 0 complaints about anything relating to our excursion. Captain Greg is a great Captain and knows so much about sea life! I highly recommend!

They're back open and still looks the same! Recently reopened from Hurricane damage. The best Bloody Marys on the beach! 1 of a kind dive bar, famous across the world. Plenty of free parking in the back.
I have been going to this bar for decades. It has become quite popular in recent years, so it can be challenging to get a drink quickly during peak hours. The staff and owner have worked hard to preserve the bar as it was when it was opened in the early 1970s. It is a very mellow atmosphere with live music, awesome bartenders, and occasional wild animals. You can Staple a dollar bill to the walls or even your bra or underwear if you feel the urge.
This historic awesome dive bar has great staff and fun beach atmosphere. Still the same fun place even after hurricanes. Drop by check it out and enjoy some cold beverages.
Such a fun, friendly atmosphere! When we visited, there was no air conditioning. They should be getting ac on part of the location any time now. That will bring the review up to 5 stars!
It’s a very cool bar, but the staff are a bit condescending. Very nice decorations though. the band is also very good
If I could give this place a zero, I would. This is the 2nd time I went. I should have known from the first time that they discriminate if they decide they don’t like you. I went w my husband a few years ago and no one would serve us. Fast forward 4 years, the same thing happened w my aunt and friend. The live music was great and we looked forward to a fun night out… until one of the employees made a homophobic comment. Then the bartenders refused to serve us. Basically if you don’t fit in to what they think their clientele should be.. you are not welcome.
Bartenders are nice and generous with the drinks. It does seem to be a mix of locals and tourists.
I Have been coming to Indian Shores for 1 week each year for the past 7 years and staying across the street in the Sea Pearl house. In the beginning I loved this bar for everything it offered!! But now my opinion has changed. I have been staying here in a different time than normal. I'm here in October and not May / June. What I've learned is the bar staff on certain nights are very rude. And they have closed every night earlier than posted hours regardless of the crowd size or if anyone is willing to spend money. I have ALWAYS said this is my favorite bar in the U.S.A. , But after this trip I don't think I'll come back.

Captain Ryan and first mate Kurt were awesome! Kurt is there in a flash whether you’re hauling in a catch or if you just got your bait robbed and simply need a reload. They made the trip with 6 of us fishing extremely easy and enjoyable. Plenty of keepers for a cookout and fun catching 8 different types of fish in a 4-hour trip. We highly recommend this charter to everyone and hope to see them again in the future!
5 star experience from the first phone call. Great crew, great boat, great gear, great trip, great fishing, and now the word great is starting to sound weird. Seriously the best experience we could have asked for. My 14 yo son HATED fishing...until today. He gave the trip a 9.99 on the judgey teenager scale, only deducting .01 for the state of Florida not allowing us to keep all of the grouper we caught (out of season). So there ya have it. Wife, son, and me were all overwhelmingly happy with the trip. Couldn't have asked for more. We will be back.
Amazing. Ryan and Kurt are experts of their craft, respectful of the sea and treat their customers like family. Sped out into the gulf until the land was barely visible and picked up some baitfish on the way. Ryan and Kurt found a spot, setup some rods and threw the bait in. By the time I could crack a beer a Kingfish was on. Before I reeled mine in, my brother-in-law was pulling one in too. After we caught enough to eat, Ryan said there were likely sharks in the area and asked if we wanted to try to catch one. I thought the odds seemed low that we would catch one but agreed to give it a try. So Ryan and Kurt baited up a bigger hook on a sturdier rod and within minutes we had a shark on the line. The first shark was 5-7 feet long and fought for 15 minutes (they are stronger than I could imagine). Beautiful creatures. Seeing and fighting one in person gives you a lot of respect for what they are. Over the next hour we reeled in another 3 sharks and our arms were too tired to continue fishing and a storm was coming, so we headed in. Ryan filleted our fish (again this man is the best of his craft and the fillets were beautiful), and we had dinner and lunch for the next couple days. Blackened Kingfish was how we ended up preparing the fish (a local restaurant cooked it for less than $10).
I went fishing with a group of six people over the weekend with this Carter captain. The captain and his deckhand were knowledgeable about finding fish and ensuring all parties were well cared for. They made fishing fun and easy. We went to different locations on our trip and caught a crazy amount of fish. We welcomed the trips to other locations because it gave us all a little time to rest, eat, and drink. Every stop was nonstop action and fun from when the bait hit the ocean floor until we left. My 15-year-old son caught so many fish that his wrist hurt the next day. I highly recommend this carter due to its price, captain's years of experience, skilled deckhand, and friendliness. I will be booking again and will see you during the grouper season. Mike Gibson Lakeland, Florida
Really enjoyed our day with Captain Ryan. He was easy to work with getting our charter scheduled and was on time meeting us at the marina. He had us on fish all day and was great company. Looking forward to seeing Captain Ryan again on our next trip!
My dad and I went fishing with Capt Ryan and Kurt, had an amazing fish. Great guys, super helpful. I had an awesome time, eating our catch with my family now, delicious.
Great fun, great captain, great crew, great fishing!! Captain Ryan knows how to put you on fish. And he truly cares. We put over twenty grouper on the boat today and kept some big ones to our limit. He’s a pro. We had live bait caught quickly and zoomed out to his offshore spots. The boat is comfortable, stable and set up perfectly for gulf offshore fishing. We will definitely go again with Ryan!
Captain Ryan and First Mate Curt were awesome. Best charter fishing trip I’ve ever been on. They literally drove us to the fish and not even 5 minutes went by from when we dropped our first line in we had a fish on! We never had to ask for anything Curt was right there every time. Sometimes bating three hooks at once. I would recommend this crew highly!!! I’ll definitely be back for another trip!! Thanks again

Such a great experience!! Started out renting e-bikes but I could not get the hang of it so we ended up renting a 4 seat electric golf cart. Too much fun!! And Dallas the owner could not have been nicer. Great family owned place for rentals, highly recommend. We will be back!
My husband and I were desperately trying to find bikes or scooters to rent for our baby moon. We kept striking out until we found Green Iguanas. He made some recommendations and we ended up renting a golf cart. I’m not exaggerating when I say it was the most fun we had on our entire trip! The owner is phenomenal and truly cares for his customers. Highly recommend and will be returning if we get the opportunity. Thanks again!
My family and I are regular visitors to the Indian Shores area. The Green Iguana rentals definitely has the best rentals on the beach. Great selection. Great service. Great prices. We have a large family and a daughter in a wheelchair. We have rented beach wheelchairs and golf carts from them and have always had a great experience. We had so much fun on the golf cart! Dallas, the owner, always makes sure all of our needs are met. Highly recommend them!
Could not have been nicer. All about safety, we were going to try the electric bikes, but it didn't work out. We ended up renting the golf cart and had a blast. The golf cart was actually nicer than my car.
Dallas was awesome! We called on a day that they were closed because of weather, and Dallas went out of his way to meet me and set us up with a golf cart for the rest of our vacation. He was super helpful and knowledgeable about the area. Will most definitely be renting from them again next time we are here!
From the initial phone contact, they were helpful and friendly. It was easy to reserve our beach package over the phone before our vacation. The pickup process was simple and fast. The equipment was durable and came with everything you’d need for a beach day. We would definitely use them again when we are in the area. You can’t beat their prices!
Golf cart rental in a storefront location, right on Gulf Blvd (Indian Shores). Don't waste your time on other rental companies who don't answer the phone and/or who operate out of their homes. Green Iguana Rentals offered four hour, eight hour and extended rentals. Great customer service, golf cart ran great, easy process with ID, security deposit. Highly recommend!!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had such a great experience! The carts were perfect, and Dallas (the owner) was awesome to work with. He even helped us out and let us rent on a day they normally aren’t open, which was above and beyond. Highly recommend supporting this small business for your transportation needs, we’ll definitely be renting from them again & recommending them to friends anytime we’re in town!

My experience was the best! My first visit, I met Stephanie. She was so welcoming and helpful with my interest and needs of finding colorful complimentary fitting bathing suits. I was not able to spend the time needed to shop on that day, I told Stephanie I would return. On my return I introduced myself and the the owner, Jaime, was aware of my initial visit. She understood my interest of the colorful suits I was looking to purchase. Jamie was tuned in to my needs, sizes, and styles. This experience was so enjoyable and productive. I recommend to all ladies that need assistance and fresh ideas to shop at the Swim Boutique. I was fortunate that she was able to give me much needed attention. The product is top of the line and so stylish. Jamie and Stephanie were very knowledgable, creative, and delightful to shop with. These Ladies are where they should be. Kimberly McLaughlin
My initial visit with Jaime was outstanding. She was knowledgeable and helpful. She made me and my daughter feel welcome. My follow up with Stephanie was awesome also. I'll definitely shop there again and recommend it to others. These ladies got me birthday ready!!
Jackie was so helpful in helping me find a suit. She helped me pick a few out even if I wasn't so sure they would look good on me. I love the feel of a mom and pop shop and I will definitely return if I am ever in the area again.
I been buying my swim suit from Jamie for the last 6 years. She started with a shop on Indian shores and open a shop down at st. Pete beach area. I drive over a hour for her suit. It's not just the suit, they help you found the best one for your body style.
