A beautiful place. The park itself is perfect — well-maintained and offers plenty of activities. The animals are wonderful. There are many options for interaction with them: feeding, entering the cheetah area, visiting young lions, walking with a big lion, and a jeep ride through the section with tigers and lions. There are various rides through the area with zebras and giraffes. The animals seem well cared for. It feels very safe, especially in the predator section. The staff are very dedicated to visitors’ safety. One of the most beautiful days on the island.

Lovely experience at the park. The zebras were the absolute highlight. I recommend doing the animal safari first thing in the morning and working your Wal backwards. Something for everyone. Highlight were the chickens in one restaurant and the peacock on another.

We visited Casela Nature Park on Oct 02 and had a wonderful family experience 🌿🐾. The park is huge and offers a mix of adventure and wildlife. We saw a wide variety of birds 🦜, and the kids had a great time enjoying the dry rides 🎢. The highlight was spotting cheetahs 🐆 and lions 🦁, and the jungle safari 🚙 where we saw deers 🦌, zebras 🦓, and ostriches 🐦 was truly memorable. We had lunch at Wam Wam Restaurant around 2 PM 🍴. The food was nice, but there were many cocks, hens, and sparrows 🐓🐥 flocking around our table, which made our kids a little frightened while eating. We left around 3:30 PM, feeling happy overall, though we noticed that some activities were closed on Thursday ❌ which was a bit disappointing. Overall, Casela is a must-visit in Mauritius for families and kids — a great mix of wildlife, rides, and adventure 🌍✨.

Went with my infant son and he enjoyed it!! Would recommend to book tickets online to avoid waiting in the line. The zoo has multiple sections and you can access these areas with a shuttle bus. The safari ride was the best - we saw deer, giraffe, zebras, emus up close.

We had a wonderful time here and loved the Safari tour! We went there during the week in October, so it wasn't crowded at all. I would definitely recommend a visit!

Casela Nature Park was a fun experience. My husband and I did the Big Cat tour with Heather and loved it. We rode the roller coaster twice! There are many options based on your activity level- whether you just want to stroll the park, taste rum, go on the safari tour, play with the kids, ride the Eco Bikes or zip line, the opportunities are endless!

The information how to take part was not clear, but the staff was very helpful. The information provided during the safari was very interesting and you can see the animals quite close.

Nice ride. The driver guide and explain you along the way and do some stops. Just the ostriches were seen from very very far.

You get to experience a unique close up tour with some animals of the African Wild Life. However, compared to my previous visit some years ago, I found that there's a down grade in terms of services provided and even the guides were so eager to scrapped the Safari Tour with only a few basic words.

Casela nature park was a reasonable experience for someone who hasn't experienced African safaris. There is an aviary, feline predator park, and game drive experience. Staff are friendly and helpful.

An okay place for a visit in Mauritius Though a negative point is needing the shuttle bus to go everywhere and these buses are not oriented for old people. Plus, their policies aren’t the best, If they delay, it’s fine however if you delay, it’s unacceptable. Overall a 3/5 ⭐️

It is quite a big mall with so many stores like telecom, bookstore, mado etc.. also mcdonalds, kfc and mr.bricolage newly opened. Huge parking lot, many different entrance and exit. A nice assorted food variety + a spacious food court. It also has a night club and if am not mistaken a gaming zone (bowling etc) + also kids playground. There is also common transport 🚌. 4/5 as it lacks a cinema hall to make it complete and for west region it could have been a good idea. We came to this shopping centre two times during our trip. On the first day we arrived late so most of shops were already closed. But we tried their Korean restaurant kogi kogi and mc Donald’s there. We saw that there was a bowling arena. The washrooms there are also clean. The next day we came in the afternoon. There were tried some Indian chats which were really bad. Next we tried one veg taco which was awesome. We also tried panini from artisan coffee which was also delicious. We also did shopping at woolworths which is an African brand and body and soul. We also checked out the book shop and miniso, all shops were good. There was an Indian woman selling some Indian sweets. It’s a great place to hangout with friends and families. Great place to visit in Mauritius.

Fine Mall, I like Korean food there kogi kogi.. kfc is also better in terms of quality as per my peers. I am a Woolworth fan, very for new items, I'm served there as it's spacious. Bowling from time to time when we are free for some fun.

My favorite spot to hang out on a Friday night! The staff is not only well-groomed but also well-mannered and incredibly welcoming, making the atmosphere feel like a little family. The security is also top-notch, always ensuring that everyone, especially girls, feels safe. It's always a great time, though I’d love to see more new artists or even some classic ones like Zulu or Menwar in the future.

Went to the club as a tourist, I made a mistake and jumped over the metal fence(no line or barrier) I walked back and apologised. The security were immediately hostile even after I apologized and tried to explain as peacefully as possible I'm not from the country and made an honest mistake, we left shortly after because they were becoming aggressive looking for a fight. I would suggest to all tourists going to avoid the club, the music was good but atmosphere was horrendous with security looking for reasons to fight you. Hope this post helps to keep people safe.

It is a club which sometimes have repeated songs playing when there is special party(different DJs' present) when there was several local artist playing, it suddenly break the dance flow of my friends and I. Maybe we were in hype dance mood. And it did not go appropriately with US.

We did not feel safe at this venue after witnessing an assault on Friday and security did nothing. The aggressor carried on with their activities. We decided to leave for our own safety. We do not feel safe in Mauritius.

We were made to Pay rs4800 for a 3800 bottle of whisky without enjoying it as bouncers told us to get out on some fabricated pretext surely to enjoy our bottle... Very bad experience overall management has to clear things up

Quite disappointed of this club , we were like a group of boys ready to spend as one of our friend was celebrating his birthday, the security at the door was rude and told us that we need to be accompanied by girls to enter in the club, that's so discriminatory. This is why partying in Mauritius is becoming so boring and will never be like in Europe or Asia when even a group of guys you pay the entrance fee and you can party. An advice for the management review your policy you could market more client and get more money and try to take example with international countries !!!!

Had a table booking, was greeted and taken to our seats. Was excited by the menu but let down by the overall meal. Restaurant turned into a club night which was pretty decent, however, music was pretty poor and the D.J was pretty lame in his mixing skills. On a plus note - cocktails were super nice!

Food is tasty except some curries which lacked a bit of flavour at the buffet. Dessert is very good. Nice atmosphere with great music. Service is excellent 👌

Had a lovely time at the Sega evening last night, the chef helped me navigate the large buffet menu as I am gluten intolerant, he was extremely helpful and understood my dietary needs and also asked if I had other allergies. The entertainment was really good and added to the culture of our holiday. We did need reserve a table in advance as they get really busy. It seems to be a go to destination in Flic en Flac.

The food was average and quite expensive. We ordered local food - calamari with red sauce, chicken with prawns and white sauce, all accompanied with rice. The taste was not bad, but not good and the prices high for the area. Portions were very small also. We saw they organise some shows in Fridays, but o think with reservation only and extra fees.

I had a wonderful evening yesterday - although we went a bit earlier than the opening hours, we were warmly welcomed to be seated and the chef prepared some delicious unique starters along with great drinks! They put on romantic music for us, despite we were only 2, with beautiful lights around. With smiles and kind words from everyone, we left there, impatient to go back!

Outdoor seating is nice and airy. Regular events such as Sega dancing or live music, some with cover charge, some including buffet dinner. The Sega show and the accompanying traditional live band was very good, after the show is a disco, we felt the evening is worth the cover charge (even after what is written below). The toilet was an unimaginable complete mess halfway through the Sega evening. The buffet food was nothing to write home about. The food from the menu was quite good (avail when no special buffet event). The managers should keep up their friendly customer skills all the way from customers entering until customers leaving and including when there is a small issue. In our case we were told the children pay half price when reserving and were charged the adult price when leaving and the discussion about it was held in a quite agressive tone by the managers and made me very uneasy. I paid it, not to ruin the evening and as I had to find another place with a toilet for the family....

Visited Flic en Flac Beach in the evening and got to witness one of the most beautiful sunsets in Mauritius. The golden light reflecting on the calm waters, with the horizon slowly turning shades of orange and pink, was simply magical. The beach itself is long, clean, and perfect for a relaxing stroll. The atmosphere was peaceful, with a gentle breeze and the sound of waves creating the perfect setting to unwind. A must-visit if you’re in Mauritius — especially in the evening for a picture-perfect sunset experience.

Long beach, nice to walk and watch the sunset in a huge amount of people, just for fun and to chill with locals. Corals and bit muddy water. Reminds Beau Vallon in Seychelles.

Undoubtedly one of the most famous beaches of Mauritius. The beach although crowded but has enough space to walk around and feels calm as well. There are multiple eatery options at the beach as well as on the opposite side of the road. Parking is ample.

Beautiful beach, much quieter than expected as it is quite a touristy area. The snorkeling was great, we saw loads of different and very colourful fish. The lagoon is very shallow and has a lot of urchins so make sure not to stand while snorkeling amongst the corals. Food trucks are good along the beach, there are also restaurants if you prefer.

Another great beach on the island , not far from Flic en Flac and it is nestled between two resorts. Much less coral on the beach, water was good on the day even though it was raining, who doesn't love swimming in the rain. The views are amazing, the mountains and other beaches to the south and beautiful palms to the right as foreground to the beautiful resort

Amazing part of the beach. You see la Mourne all the time and have the opportunity, to rent boats and snorkelling equipment!

A much lesser crowded beach on the south of Flic En Flac. There is a bus stand nearby for easy access.

Nice place to relax with family and stroll along the beach. Great for fishing and sunset photoshoots. Limited parking lots. I do not recommend this place for swimming as the seawater is fused with sewerage water and sometimes it smells.

Great Spot to Unwind A calm and peaceful beach, perfect for sunsets. You can have a picnic—just bring your own seating. There’s boating, skiing, and even an ice cream stall. Changing rooms are available, and parking is easy with plenty of space. A must-visit for a relaxing day out!

Wolmar Public Beach is a hidden gem! The water is crystal clear, and it's much less crowded compared to the nearby Flic en Flac Beach, which makes it perfect for a more peaceful experience. The beach is clean, and there's convenient parking and toilet facilities available. The seascape is absolutely beautiful, offering calm and pleasant surroundings for a relaxing day. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a serene beach day!

We have been to the restaurant for dinner. The atmosphere was nice, staff were kind and fast but the food was bland. It felt like the ingredients was not blending together.

Halal food (certified halal) restaurant. It is 2 mins drive from our apartment and close to the flic en flac beach. It is dinner time so we went multiple times for having our dinner here with different meals available to choose including garlic nan, lamb beriani etc.

We went to Zub Express because it was recommended by our Airbnb host and had solid Google reviews. The restaurant spans three floors and has a quick customer turnover, but the service left a lot to be desired. It took about 25 minutes after being seated before anyone came to take our order, as the waiters were constantly rushing food deliveries from the ground floor via a small elevator system—and mostly ignored us in the process. Once we finally ordered, the food arrived in five minutes, which made it clear that nothing was cooked fresh but rather reheated upon request. During our meal, a man who seemed to be the owner was going around cleaning tables with a handheld crumb vacuum—probably because vacuuming the fake green grass flooring on the third floor was too difficult. Unfortunately, my lobster was burned and overcooked, completely ruining the meal. Considering the quality and service, the restaurant felt overpriced, and you can definitely find better food and friendlier service in Flic en Flac

Eating here twice was a highlight of the Flic en Flac visit. Al fresco dining on the terrace with gracious service was so enjoyable, and all the staff from manager to the servers were charming, cordial, and polite. Especially can recommend the lamb dishes, accompanied by terrific roti as well as tasty naan. Would absolutely dine here again upon returning to Flic en Flac. Highly recommended!

Excellent roti right at the beach and the best we tried in Mauritius. Don’t be surprised, other people know how good it is why you might need to wait a little bit.

I tried different food trucks at the beach in Flic en Flac and they were ok. But this one is another perfect example how to create a great business with just one product- in this case Roti or Farata (east Africa Chapati). A vegetarian version costs 20 Rupies, one can add chicken, fish and so on, adding up to max. of 80 Rupies. They also have cold water and soft drinks. You have to wait in line but there is a reason for that line. Just perfect! And the beach view is for free. ;-)

Farata are delicious roti wraps filled with curry of your choice. These are absolutely delicious and very reasonably priced. We shall be having these again for sure!

Please update your opening hours – we showed up and the place was closed. We came by based on the opening hours listed on Google, but the restaurant was closed. Really disappointing when you make the effort to come all the way. Please update your hours to avoid this happening to others!

Super happy to know that whenever I come to visit Mauritius and decide to go to Flic en Flac I always find them there. Their farata is always freshly made while you wait for your order which is always a bonus when eating out. I’ll admit that they are slightly thick but I suppose it works for their tasty fillings. Best part is that they don’t skimp on the amount of filling. Service is efficient which is superb. They don’t have operating hours anywhere so it’s more of a guessing game for them to open which can be anywhere between 10:00 and 12:00. Regardless, if you’re in the area I’d definitely recommend that you make a stop by them.

If you looking for something tasty, cheap, quick and local, that’s your place!! Don’t be turned away by queues, that’s a sign is worth that little wait!! We tried few different ones, fish one was definitely a winner with us!! And it’s literally just by the beautiful beach!!

By miles the best, tastiest & cheapest meal you can get. Tried all faratas on the menu several times: the food is consistent and the service efficient. The queue moved very slowly on public holidays, however it's less busy in working days. Don't let the slow movement deter you: hold onto your spot and try a fish farata with chili and tamarind sauce... It will make your day!

Just got back from trying their lunch...1 adult with 2 kids. One of the worst service one could get...sat down...no one to take your order. So you go to the bar to order...out of 3 ordered items, only 1 served...rest forgotten. Although the only served item was very tasty (kitchen team) real training is to be provided to the front service staff. Will prefer spending elsewhere next time

I’m very disappointed with the way SPARC handled my case. Instead of showing understanding and flexibility, they focused only on an old balance from over a year ago and refused to consider my situation. This shows a lack of customer care and empathy. I expected a fitness center of this level to value its members more, but unfortunately, my experience says otherwise. Because of this, I will not be recommending SPARC to anyone.

One of the most disturbing places in the neighbourhood. They make loud parties regularly and blast music so loud that even if you close all windows at home they are still shaking. It's sad to see that there is no respect for neighbours and people are uncapable of having fun without disturbing everyone around.

Went to their restaurant called Common ground. The area is just amazing, wide,peaceful and mesmerising view BUT Food related, the main course dishes were terrible.. Burger was tasteless, pasta swimming in butter.. As for the starters,it was yummy.. We wanted to order pizza,but their oven was broken on that day. Staffs were very slack,although the restaurant was not crowded, they were unable to deliver the service. There was also lots and lots of flies while eating, which made it almost impossible to eat at ease. Price wise, very affordable. They just have to review the taste for some dishes and waiters' willingness to work.. A beautiful smile would also be more than welcome.

Got recommended by a friend and was really hyped as it's an international chain restaurant. However the calamari portion was small, the main dish was cold. Everything tasted the same, drenched in BBQ sauce. On the menu it says you get to choose two types of wings but didn't get asked to choose and just got one kind. Nice vibe but I wouldn't come again.

Tasty food, fair prices – with a few small misses: Dropped by for a casual bite and overall had a solid experience. The tuna salad was fresh and well presented, with a surprisingly large piece of seared tuna – definitely the highlight of the meal. The burgers were juicy and well-sized, served with tasty fries that hit the spot. Small heads-up: mayo isn’t included – it costs an extra 45 rupees. Not a big deal, but good to know. The Oreo shake? Absolutely nailed it – rich, cold, and full of flavor. A letdown were the loaded fries. Portion felt a bit small and everything was kind of stuck together, which took away from the experience. Service was friendly and on point, and the overall price was reasonable for what you get. Don’t mind the noise of the cars racing bye 🫣. Would I come back? Definitely – just probably skipping the loaded fries next time.

Drove through from the north. Started with the loaded fries. They were delicious. We had 2 borderline chicken burgers, a Korean chicken burger with slaw and the chicken quesadillia. Burgers were tasty and good value. Think the quesadillia is over priced. The Oreo milk shake was siblime and hit all the spots. The cappacino cup was the most comfortable cup I have ever held. Amazing design. Check the photo. Lots of parking across the road from the venue. A pleasure when coming from the north. The venue has great atmosphere and good sea views. On the negatives. The place is only 5 months old. Taps in the bathroom are not attached to the sinks. If you inherited those with the venue, then they should have been fixed by now. If they are new then that is ridiculous. One of the taps in the toilets was also dripping all over the floor. See attached videos. Nkt great.

We visited this past Saturday 9th Aug25. We've been multiple times and every time the food quality and service levels gets better! KEEP IT UP TIGERS MILK TEAM A negative feedback would be the state of the male bathrooms. I know it's difficult to maintain as (possibly) result of patrons abusing the facilities however cleanliness is on the shoulders of the team. Otherwise, still a great spot on the Flic en Flac cost :))

This is a review for Old Italy next door to Tigers Milk! It seems they operate under one roof or sth and the drinks are made in the Tigers Milk? Don't know exactly. The place looked amazing and that's probably its strongest attribute. Ordered an octopus and Wifey had chicken, both were a little shy on salt. Chicken maybe a little overcooked but the octopus - loved it! We took a Caramel Milk Shake which worked great as a dessert since it wasn't a classic milk shake. It was a whole lotta ice cream and we loved it! Overall, not the best place at Flic En Flac but a great place to dress up and have a beautiful evening.

Tiger's milk had a lovely atmosphere with good food. Our waiter Hannah was excellent. Very friendly and helpful and well spoken. Nice to hv a waiter who could speak English fluently!! She even remembered us from the previous night.

March 24, 4pm. AVOID!!!!! AVOID!!! AVOID!!! I ordered 6 items. 1. Smash burger was not smash, just regular patty. Bread is heavy, not brioche as described. 1 bite, disgusting and flat. 2. Coleslaw - had no dressing. A plate of dry cabbage and an olive on the side. 3. Chicken wings - are these wings steamed? Undercooked, bloody on inside. The meat was rubbery. Returned to kitchen for refund via manager. Was never taken off final bill. Also flavorless. 4. Loaded fries - COLD and soggy. You serious? 5. Cesar salad - gf ate it, I didn't try. 6. Some cocktail - basically juice box squeezed into fancy cup. Tipped the waiter but restaurant is garbage. Service poor. Manager has attitude and unapologetic. They initially brought me the wrong burger completely. I realized after 5 minutes. I told them bring the right burger but I'm keeping this one so I can heat up at home because fries and other food was inedible. Manager said no. What did they do with the burger? Throw it out? Waste of food. I wasn't trying to scam a free burger. Final bill came out to 2500rs. 10 minute wait for a virgin cocktail and a bottle of beer. A beer should be poured within 2 minutes right away. You pop the bottle, pour it in a glass. Right away. No fault of waiter. But management here does NOT set them up for success and satisfaction of restaurant. Other guests all empty table too looking around for their food. I could've walked out restaurant without paying. Couldn't eat the food. Completely underperformance in kitchen. But ended up packing it to take home and paying full with tip. Going to throw out in morning. Don't reply. Get your business together. AVOID. Threw away 2500rs. Edited: I've added some photos. Obviously cold after takeout but look at slaw, no dressing. I'm holding with my bare hands. Burger is not smashed. What is the point of a smash burger if the patty is from frozen premade.

Beautifully appointed restaurant with delicious food and fantastic setting on the beach. The only really uncomfortable thing was lack of any air circulation from the ceiling fans on those unbearably stifling nights. The restaurant should invest into a more powerful system to keep the guests happy at their tables. Thank you.

Lovely romantic spot. Located on sugar beach you can enjoy great service. This is not a buffet restaurant which is great. We were invited for our Honeymoon dinner. What a treat… from the decor, cocktails, food… you will experience perfection, friendliness, romance and O my word, the dessert. Thank you a great evening!

We came twice to this restaurant for lunch and dinner. The view is amazing, right on the beach and lagoon - definitely worth relaxing and enjoying the atmosphere. The staff is nice and helpful, even though a bit slow. There is a good choice on the menu for drinks and food as well. Though we all found our food a bit bland and lacking taste.

Maybe we've got a Bad Day, but we could not share the commendations. It was very hot but the tables were only inside (no rain,maybe expected) Our starters make us sad, because the beef tartere was ugly (not seasoning, not cut with tendon) and the tuna tartare was solid but also not seasoning. The Main dishes were better, but the crispy porb belly wasnt crispy and mostly greasy. The Ambiente is awesome, but an open kitchen with a loud angry Chef doesnt make a nice atmosphere. Sorry but they didnt made us a good night.

I cannot overstate my disgust and disappointment with Maré Maré Beach Restaurant. A couple of nights ago, we had a horrendous meal here with food that took forever to arrive, shocking service, and a completely forgettable experience. Against our better judgment, we decided to give them a second chance, thinking perhaps they could make up for it. What followed was so appalling that it ruined an otherwise beautiful evening and left me sick to my stomach. After a lovely dinner at Buddha Bar Beach Restaurant tonight, we came to Maré Maré for something as simple as dessert and tea, mainly so our daughter could enjoy the candy floss “ you can imagine If this is the highlight of a 5 star restaurant you know where I’m going with this”. The restaurant was practically empty at most 20% full yet we were met by the most sour-faced, rude, and downright offensive hostess, Caroleni Avave. I approached her warmly and politely, only to be snapped at with the most dismissive “NO” I have ever received. At a 5 star resort, this is completely unacceptable. A head waiter who knew us quickly offered us a table, but the humiliation did not stop there. Caroleni later came storming to our table, getting into my face in front of my family, and had the audacity to argue with me, calling my comments “bullshit.” I cannot begin to express how offensive and degrading this was in front of my husband and young daughter. I asked her to leave our table, and she refused, continuing to escalate the situation. When I tried to speak with the manager, Avi, Caroleni once again interrupted, shouting over me aggressively while other staff members, grown men, stood by and told me to calm down and shut up. I could even hear staff cussing under their breath about me while their manager stood powerless, completely unable to control his own team. The entire scene was hostile, intimidating, and deeply upsetting for my family. Was this because we were an LGBTQI family? What was meant to be a lighthearted dessert outing for my daughter ended in complete humiliation, anger, and disbelief. Instead of professionalism and hospitality, I was met with hostility and abuse. My family’s evening was destroyed, my daughter was exposed to disgraceful behavior, and I was left feeling utterly offended and disrespected. Maré Maré Beach Restaurant is not simply disappointing. It is a stain on what should be a luxury resort experience. To be treated this way, screamed at, and disrespected by staff while the manager failed to act is inexcusable. It has left me disgusted, furious, and with the sourest taste imaginable and I would strongly advise anyone to avoid this establishment at all costs.

What a lovely experience. The food was superb and the service was excellent. In particular, the lobster dumplings were delicious and the cocktails were fantastic. The music was wonderful - Evans Maurer’s band made the evening complete with a fantastic atmosphere! The best music we have heard at Sugar Beach so far - such great musicians and groove. Really tight and professional! We highly recommend Buddha Bar!

The Buddha-Bar Beach in Mauritius is an absolute gem, beautifully located right by the sea. The setting is stunning, offering breathtaking views and a serene atmosphere. The staff is exceptional—attentive, professional, and welcoming. A special mention goes to Food & Beverage Manager David, whose dedication truly enhances the experience. The sushi here is unparalleled—fresh and bursting with flavor. The Dragon Roll, Volcano Roll, California Roll, and Crispy Tuna Roll were some of the best I’ve had in years. Complementing the exquisite food is an impressive selection of wines and beverages. A word of advice: make sure to reserve in advance, as the bar is located within a resort, and prior booking ensures access. This place is a must-visit for anyone seeking a luxurious dining experience by the ocean!

Beautifully located beach bar with great cocktails and truly delicious food. The staff were very friendly. The view was fantastic. There was live music every evening and frequent dance performances. Definitely worth a visit!

We just came for a drink and admire the sunset. The place is really nice with a terrace right on the beach and on the sea. You can't miss the sunset and this is a perfect spot to chill and enjoy the view. We ordered some cocktails but we thought it wasn't that good unfortunately. But the staff is nice and the music is great.

Staff are amazing food is fantastic. Breakfast is so good. Cocktails are great!! But if you fancy something different try the Mauritian coffee it’s not on the menu but ask for an iced coffee with spiced rum it’s sooo yummy!!! My fav to watch the sunset with!! Which are fabulous by the way. They have said they will put it on the menu. the more people that ask for it the quicker it will go on there. Great times had at Tidez. Music is cool in the evenings too!!!!

It's hard to find a good cup of coffee in Mauritius, as a barista I approve of this place 🙌🏽, we ordered the french breakfast and it was perfect, they ran out of croissant but put a fresh on in the oven for us 10/10

AMAZING! One of the best restaurants we’ve had in all of Mauritius over the past week. Their chicken dish with “goomber sauce” was amazing that peanut butter sauce was 11/10. Steak was cooked to perfection and their crème brûlée is delicious.

Visited the place for lunch. Had cheese spring rolls and vegetarian fried noodles both were yum.. and Shirley's temple was decent. During my short vacation I was looking for a diving center at Mauritius, where no diving licence is required, and luckily, I was able to find it 😀. Ticabo diving center, is one of them, where you can live your dream! You need to book the time slot a few days in advance here I believe is depend on the time when you are looking for, but I believe that Ticabo team can help. After a short training and detailed explanation of the signs 👌 what you need to know, when you are underwater, you'll be transferred with a fast boot to the right place and the experience underwater can start! The diving trainer was all the time with us and we was diving in 12 m depth, viewed the Coral 🪸 and the fish's, more than30 minutes. That was a great time, which will be never forgetting. Diving with Ticabo as part of my PADI Open Water certification was the BEST experience. Ashley was a cool and calm instructor; therefore, I had no nerves and was able to enjoy every minute of my training dives! Ticabo are professional, offer teaching in English or French, and they look after you from the minute you walk in to the moment you leave. Thank you to the whole team: Neelam, Patrick, Ryan and Ashley. They were so kind, helpful, joyful and made me laugh every time! Had a super experience diving here: the staff member at the front desk is very welcoming with a kind demeanor. Signing up for a dive was super easy, and the diving instructors were super. I had not dived in about a year, so Marianne was super helpful in doing a mini review as we went along. I wish I had signed up for more dives! And the prices are fantastic!

Great centre to dive with! They started with a really nice briefing with maps of the dive sites and pictures of the animals to see. The instructors went over safety procedures in a light and pleasant way. During the dive - as an experienced divers - we felt I had freedom to roam around the site while being checkt for safety and shown the nooks and crannies by the instructor. I would definitely go back!

I completed the open water course with Ashley. He was very responsive to me and was always friendly. His patience and professionalism set him apart. He not only dives in harmony with the sea, he always radiates calm and joy. Thank you Ashley for sharing your knowledge with me.

I did two dives with Ticabo and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The quality of the instruction was top-notch, with knowledgeable and friendly instructors who made every dive enjoyable and educational. The equipment provided was in excellent condition, ensuring a safe and comfortable dive. The value for the price was exceptional, offering a premium experience. The dives were from boat and were incredibly pleasant, with smooth operations and very well organized. I highly recommend Ticabo. I wanted to do more dives, but the sea conditions didn't allow it.

I have just finished my 2nd scuba dive with ticabo diving school. I swam with both Rodney on my first dive and Ashley on my second dive. All I can say is they are both helpful and gave me confidence. There instructions we're brilliant. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this dive school to a professional or a beginner like me. Thank you to all involved in making my holiday memories amazing. Very nice restaurant a block off the main strip. We enjoyed the burger and chicken wings. Reasonable prices and great service. If you like good beer, make sure to try the one of the Thirsty Fox selection.

Visited this venue again, hoping to enjoy some music with a meal. Unfortunately this was an off night and they had a problem in the kitchen, nevertheless, they made a plan with chicken spring rolls and chips. They were brilliant and the service excellent as well. The only downside is that I could not hear the music as the crowd was so loud. The place was full of people. I would like to suggest that the management consider amplifying the sound of the band as this would offer a better dining experience. This place rocks, that's for sure.

Nice place to sit and relax, it's filled with family vibes so you will feel welcome as soon as you walk in. The food is really good and affordable and the best thing I liked about the place is trivia night that happens every 3rd Saturday in a month. You get free shots for every round that you win which is a really great motivator. Definitely recommended for a chill night out

This is a family owned restaurant with very few seats (I believe she can manage up to 15 people max.), so you we’d to reserve and show up. This ain’t a normal restaurant, la “mamie” 💖 is preparing the food during the whole afternoon and buys the right amount of food the same day so it’s super fresh. This is typical local Mauritian cuisine, lots of veggies, some dorade, chicken curry and yummy saucisse creole 😋 you also get to taste some nice rum. The family is incredibly kind, warm and discreet. I recommend this restaurant to all of those appreciating the discovery of new flavors and cuisines!

A memorable experience with the charismatic host and owner, May, who really sets the positive ambiance with her warm hospitality, and fun personality. The setting is very cosy, in the front porch of the their home. As pictured, she prepares the set menu - with about 8 different vegetables and 3 non veg items served with rice at our meal. She patiently explained all the dishes to us, and at the end of our delightful meal , poured us generously her home made pineapple and coffee infused rum which were exquisite. We paid a total of about MUR 2300 for the two of us with 3 alcoholic drinks. Remember to pre book as she has limited capacity of about 15 guests every evening, except Sunday when they are closed. Parking is available opposite the restaurant, and note that only cash is accepted here for payment. All in all, a memorable evening, with the personality & hospitality of May, the infused rums and the delicate flavours of the veggies being the highlight for me.

As per the owner's own words, it takes time to cook good food. So the key thing to have when visiting this resto is lots of patience as the service is quite slow. I tried the so famous and expensive Grilled Lobster with Garlic Butter and was quite disappointed. The Lobster was over cooked and pale in taste. However, I had one of the best crab soups and the octopus curry served with rice & farata was sublime. And the best way to end your visit is by trying either the caramelised pineapple or banana which is served with a flaming rhum along with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. The flaming rhum is optional but it does enhance the dessert!!!

We both had a starter and then different curries as mains. Starters were fine, the curries were average and portions were small and expensive. We were not happy with what we got for our money - tourist trap in my opinion. The washroom remains grubby as per previous reviews. We won’t be back.

I was actually very pleasantly surprised. The portions were reasonable, the food tasty and the service very pleasant. While the place is not in what I would call an ideal setting (on the main road into Flic en Flac) this somehow did not detract from the ambience and the popularity of the venue. All in all a very pleasant evening, with a very pleasant host. I will definitely be visiting again.

A nice little restaurant. My husband had the beef curry with rice and I had the fried noodle special which had homemade egg noodles on top of the shrimp and chicken fried noodles. Big portions and food was very tasty. The white wine was good and the prices were reasonable. The kind gentleman even gave us a free and very tasty after-dinner digestif!

Terrible experience after 16 years. Prices increased significantly which is noticeable. Sadly after having a single good beer.. then my friend and I had leave our beers almost untouched. It was impossible to drink them. I still chose to pay full price. So they know it's a fact. Mafiozzo has become profit-driven by cheating unknowing tourists but unfortunately I'm not a tourist. Sad day in deed.

Me and my husband had the most amazing experience with this agency. Watching whales was on my bucket list since a long time and these guys made it real. Will book again if I come to Mauritius in future. The crew was really sweet and played Bollywood songs for us considering we are Indians. I loved it !!

A terrific experience. The team assisting us was extremely kind and warm, always willing to help and to make any needed effort in order for us to get the most of it. We saw a lot of dolphins and we also did some snorkeling in one of the most beautiful places in Mauritius. We also had the chance to enjoy parasailing. Nice lunch at the island and we even had a musical performance from the team! The boat was fast and comfortable and the drinks were fantastic (specially the homemade Punch and local Rum) Overall, a very good experience, worth every dollar spent.

Wonderful trip! Saw all the dolphins and had the opportunity to swim with them including the small fish and coral. The skippers were so friendly and super helpful making sure everyone on board was doing okay. Great time, I already would love to do it again! By far, the best Marin adventures and food palooza supplier on the island!! Both Gino & Natalie are so nice and such terrific hosts, and - amazing coocks, along with all of their crew! Gave us such a pleasant and wholesome experience, that words can't be sufficient to describe! We saw everything - whales, dolphins, rays, turtles. All of the arrangements were exceptional, along with the food both on the boat and on their hostel. Just amazing!

Booked this charter with Adrians dream on our honeymoon, my wife and I had such a great day out! Our two skippers Bob and Thiery are really great! They made the day! We booked the swimming with dolphins package and this package included swimming with the dolphins, snorkeling on a reef as well as lunch on a desert island. The day started really early for us as our hotel was over an hour away from Flic an Flac, on arrival we boarded the boat with another 8 people and then got the brief on the day, our skippers like an early start as they say it can get really congested by the dolphins the later it gets. So we launched and 7:30 and the skippers were not lying about the congestion, the image I had in my head and reality of the dolphin swim were chalk and cheese, we were one of 12 boats chasing the dolphins, but thanks to our skippers skills we managed to get ahead and right into the middle of the pod! I swam in between the dolphins, so close I could touch them, I didn't though cause I heard they bite! So after and hour of chasing these dolphins and one successful swim, all the people on our boat were exhausted but satisfied with what we had done. We then proceeded to the snorkeling on the reef and then made our way to the beach for lunch. While the lunch was being prepared we got to get to know the other people on our boat as well as get to know our skippers don't only drive the boat but they can also cook very well. We spent a little time on the island and then made our for a swim around Crystal rock before making our way home after such an amazing day! I will definitely go with adrians dream again and when we do I really hope Bob and Thiery are out skippers! You guys rock!

Great tours, tour content is negotiable. Only slightly more expensive than a good rental car, with the added bonus of getting a nice driver guide and not having to deal actively with Mauritian traffic. We booked five Tours and were totally satisfied.

They claimed half a watermelon was 450 rupees, a quarter of a watermelon was 250. So they must be charging around $20 USD for an entire watermelon which makes it one of the most expensive in the world probably 😂 This place seems like a tourist trap. I should have known given it's the only shop in this touristy area. Never again, better off going to a supermarket where at least they have clear pricing and you can see the scale.

We visited Melanzana twice during our holiday in Flic en Flac. To be honest, we were attracted by the name in Italian. But then once we were seated and read the menu, we jumped into the local food. Very good and ample portions, which is why we returned. The staff is very caring. They pay attention to everything. Right prices, a little above average but I repeat: the right prices. Bravo! 👏🏻

A very well presented, clean pizza restaurant. We enjoyed the food although the pizzas could have used more tomato sauce and those with olives as a topping only actually get 2. A nice relaxing spot with friendly staff. I would have like more drink options - only Heineken & Desperdo beer. No wine.

We have been to their pizzeria to have dinner with my husband. Such a cozy place with very warm decoration, soft cover songs on the background and smiling staff who welcomes you in. Their pumpkin, cream, ham pizza was yummy and enjoyed their tiramisu afterwards. The only issue we had was the smell of drainage which was coming from outside and obviously they would not have control over that. I will definitely visit again. 👌🏻✨

Hands down one of the best if not the best pizzeria on Mauritius. The quality, quantity, service and atmosphere is outstanding. I highly recommend this restaurant if you are in flic en flac.

The pizzas here are excellent and stand out as some of the best compared to other options in the area. While the menu selection is fairly limited and the seating space is quite restricted, the flavors and overall quality of the pizzas more than make up for it. I would definitely recommend stopping by if you are nearby and craving a delicious, freshly made pizza that’s far better than the usual choices available locally
