LEGOLAND® Discovery Centre Melbourne

4.0
(4779)
Amusement park
Indoor playground
LEGOLAND® Discovery Centre Melbourne is a vibrant and imaginative destination for families, featuring an array of Lego-themed rides, interactive building zones, and kids' play areas. Located within the expansive Chadstone shopping center, it offers a multi-level experience filled with creative workshops where children can craft their own Lego creations to take home. Visitors can also enjoy attractions like the Kingdom Quest laser ride, Merlins Apprentice ride, and immersive 4D Cinema showcasing popular films such as The Lego Movie.
It's a great place for kids to visit. Although the ticket price is a bit high. You can save money by buying tickets in advance and either bringing your own food or eating at the shopping centre food court. The cafeteria at Legoland is way too expensive. Has a nice gift shop where you can buy Lego kits. The 3D cinema is really cool but be prepared to get sprayed with water. There are more activities to do than you can fit in 3 hours. Try going during the week as it's super busy on the weekends.

Nice place enjoyed and freedom to be a lego geek. We spent 4 hrs here.i was tired but dev wasn't. Love the 4 D movie but hate the water effect. Hot dog was the meal tomatoes sauce was sourced but dev liked it and the bun awesome. Nice set of act for kids . Must to see

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Amazing Experience at LEGOLAND! LEGOLAND is an absolute dream come true for both kids and adults! The park is beautifully designed, clean, and full of fun attractions that keep everyone entertained all day long. The creativity and detail in every display are simply incredible — it truly feels like stepping into a world made of LEGO bricks. The rides are perfect for families, with a great mix of excitement and safety. The staff are friendly, patient, and always happy to help, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. The 4D cinema, mini cities, and interactive building zones were huge hits with the kids. Food options were great too, with plenty of variety and reasonable prices. Overall, LEGOLAND is a place full of smiles, imagination, and unforgettable memories. Highly recommend it for a fun family day out!

Great place for kids to play, we went on a time that’s not quite busy. So my little one was able to go on the ride many many times, she absolutely enjoyed it and the staff didn’t get upset 🤭 They were happy to operate even when she is the only one on the ride. The day we went there that the 4D cinema was not working, however the staff organise face painting instead. We were very happy and had a great time, even participated in the lego workshop too!!! I would think this would also be a great place for birthday parties.
Happlee G — Google review
I went to the most recent 'adults night' and it was fantastic. The whole discovery centre was wonderful with rides, plenty of spots to sit and build, and even a stop motion Lego room. It is unfortunate that adults can't attend at anytime because I would definitely be there more often if I could. Highly recommend the visit though and adults night is a wonderful way to let out your inner child!!
Daisy-May C — Google review
Went on a Wednesday after lunch. not too busy. Enjoyed the mediaeval shooter ride, though my kid was too scared for the wizard ride, and not interested in the 4D movies. Plenty of building activities and features for the kids. 2 soft play areas. And a cafe, but that closed at 3pm. I'd say it's comparable to a play centre with added rides and activities, which makes the ticket price worth it. LEGO shop is full priced though. So might be risky if your kids are inclined to beg for toys at the shops. Mini LEGO Melbourne was amazing to look at! So many little Easter eggs. Liked the free passport and stamps!
Dire H — Google review
LEGOLAND at Chadstone is great for kids and kidults, rides, 4D movies, building zones, and the mini Melbourne display are awesome. Perfect indoor spot for family fun, with friendly staff and plenty to keep little ones busy.

Lollipop's Playland Bentleigh East is a popular family destination in Glen Eira, offering a range of activities for kids. The playland features an aviary garden playground and a cafe, making it an ideal spot for families to enjoy. Additionally, the area boasts the Bentleigh East Skatepark and the Glen Eira Sports and Aquatic Centre (GESAC), which includes water slides, a gym, and wellness facilities.
My daughter celebrated her birthday here last Sunday. I was pleasantly surprised that it was very organised. I appreciate that the staff explained to me the program before the party started and it was well adhered to. All the kids were so happy and didn't want to stop playing until closing time. I ordered 2 platters for the adults and it was more than enough for 16 of us - not bad for the price. Last night my daughter said she couldn't sleep because she still thinks about all the fun things that happened during her party. Thank you so much to all the lovely staff at Lollipop's. ♥️

Great place to bring the kids! Free for adults to get in but charge for kids. Kids shoes off so socks a must but if forget them can buy here, $3 pair. Hot and cold food available (chips, chicken wraps, nachos, sandwiches, nuggets, cocktail franks, muffins and icecreams) while also hot and cold drinks and the coffee was fine (decaf soy latte, skinny mocha). Also have a room where you can Build-a-Bear. Centre has play area just for the 3 and unders and a car ride. Also climbing wall but only for those over 5. I'm way past 5 but I wouldn't try it! And of course you can hold your child's birthday here. They also had an Arts and Crafts table set up with cut outs to do. 5.2 back again and yes great playcentre for kids parties and if wet. Venue opens at 9am yet at 10.30 paper towel dispenser empty, hand soap dispenser nearly empty, no $2 coins in till which are the only coins accepted in toy dispensers, so frustrating - and don't get me started on claw machine. Has any kid ever won a prize using these? Also the emergency fire exit door was padlocked. 11.4.23 there early about 10ish so nice and quiet but full by 11 with 500 kids lining up for car ride (OK exaggeration). Also still hiring. 29.3.24 there on Good Friday, fantastic was open!

The only saving grace is the delightful staff, surprisingly decent coffee and the smaller toddler area...otherwise this is run-of-the-miss play Cafe with tired, broken equipment, and empty ball-pit and overcrowded play areas. The weirdest thing was the children's toilets which had a clear class door and no doors in the cubicles..so anyone standing outside has full view of young children using the toilets.

Had a good experience. We celebrated 6th birthday of our son here. Very supportive staff. Kids really enjoyed a lot. They have quite a good variety of meal options for adults too.

I've never been a fan of play centres as a neuro-divergent individual, though after visiting Rainbow Town not too far from here my mind was changed. Lollipop's and pretty much every other play centre is loud with no quiet spaces available, filthy with bits of food and spills on the ground and play equipment, staff weren't even at the front desk when we entered. The staff in general seem deeply unhappy about working here. There are hiring signs up, though I'd recommend finding somewhere a little better managed and maintained (and cleaned) if you really want to work in a play centre. The vacant tables are also all covered in food and rubbish, like the floors and every other surface. For any health-conscious or plant-based people, the only item on the menu is hot chips. Everything else is the usual fried or packaged 90s tuck shop stuff. For reference Rainbow Town has a full Asian menu including fresh greens and veggies. I would have taken more pictures, but I'm not going to photograph kids I don't know and put them online. I recommend Rainbow Town.
Maxine W — Google review
Smaller centre than those of most of its competitors, which for families with younger children is quite beneficial. Older children may get bored after a while. The periodic car rides are awesome, particularly as it's free! This slightly (okay not really!) makes up for the high entry costs. I say high, as although they're similar to other play centres, this centre is smaller, has a lot less equipment AND most of the equipment in the ball pit area does not work (the suction tubes, etc). The centre really needs to fix and upgrade its play spaces to justify the entry prices.

Lollipops Playland is to parents what the sun is to the moon, exactly what is needed. They have great equipment for children of all ages and create a wonderful social atmosphere where the children can interact with each other to learn strong social skills. The cafe is great with pricing that is not ridiculous. There has been a great deal of resources, time, money and effort. It also gives mum or dad to enjoy a coffee while the kids are entertained.

Packer Park in Carnegie is a wetlands-themed park with one of the largest playgrounds, featuring a huge spider web rope climb and a musical snake boardwalk for kids. The park offers cute toadstool seating areas and extensive grassed areas for party games. Additionally, it has a function room equipped with kitchen facilities at the Packer Park Pavilion for events.
Great day at the lawn bowls club. Good barbecue area and lawn bowls for a baby shower was a great day out with good weather! Able to have a few drinks only downside toilets are a little walk away!

Packer Park is a brilliant all-rounder park in a bushy setting. Loads of dog off leash and walking, sports and play options. Frog Hollow playground is an awesome place to have kids connect with nature. There's a cricket oval with clubrooms, a boule area in the far corner and a velodrome for cyclists keen to improve their Strava time.

Nice long elevated travel paths for fast toddlers! And good sized slides and lattice climbing ladders, not too big and not too small.

This park has lots of facilities for everyone including your fur baby. It is well lit at night during the week. It has off and on leash areas. Walking paths, wetlands, cycling velodrome, playground, birdie golf cage, outdoor gym, bocce, hit up wall, basketball ring, Bbq, rotunda, cricket training nets and function room. Enough to keep everyone happy.

Booran Reserve Playground is a popular spot in Melbourne, offering a wide range of activities for families and outdoor enthusiasts. The playground features a multi-level sandpit area, a large climbing structure, swings, a flying fox, mini trampolines, and more. Additionally, the reserve includes clean toilets and ample space for picnics and barbecues. Booran Reserve is also known for its impressive water park with one of the largest splash pads in Melbourne.
This is such a great spot! The kids loved the water play area, and we were so glad there’s plenty of shade around. There’s heaps to do with the big slide, climbing, sports areas, and paths for bikes and scooters. Perfect for a fun family day out!

Great playground that is able to host any massive celebration and for any occasion. There are fully functioning toilets, water play area for the hotter months. A massive rope climbing course, sandpit area, double flying fox and a seated undercover area with dual electric bbq. You can reserve the bbq for a period of time for a fee which is great for hosting parties and the alike. Basketball half court for the older kids and a half tennis court. Simply a great day out flat Booran Reserve.

Best outdoor playground for kids from all ages. Encourages kids to explore more. Parents should watch the kids all the time especially at the high slides. But, it’s all fun! There’s a water fountain for kids to play. BBQ facility for group event. We can also play tennis on the wall and play basketball.
Erliansyah M — Google review
Not quite Disneyland but possibly more "hands-on" fun. The huge garden and hard surface park which used to be the Caulfied Reservoir - but it has been gentrified (kidified) and turned into an expansive park that is both artistic and fit for physical fitness - the type that kids love. Places for kicking balls, running, swinging, spinning, sliding, climbing, jumping, and chasing. Best of all, the park has a "water" theme (a splash park) - most prominent is the flat pad water fountain area which invites you to run through a maze of water spouts - perfect for a cool Summer! The fountains do have different operational times depending on the Season. Dogs on a leash are okay. There are toilets and bins. The only difficulty was trying to find a spare place to park the car.

The main sliding for 7 years and above. But the swing, environment, and the public toilet for women was very clean. If u want to go with toddler better find another parks / playground since the slides here must be climb with robe.

Caulfield Racecourse, located in Melbourne, is a popular destination for horse racing enthusiasts and visitors. The spacious off-lead park features a lake, play areas, and sporting facilities. There are rumors of it becoming an on-leash park in the future, but for now, it's a completely fenced-off gem where you can enjoy with your pup. Additionally, the racecourse hosts a monthly market with food stalls, fresh produce, and various other vendors.
We had a fantastic time at Elmo’s Circus at Caulfield Racecourse! The kids were completely captivated from start to finish — especially during the thrilling motorbike act inside the Globe of Death! 🎪 There were also classic carnival rides, hot food, and fun games — all reasonably priced, which was a pleasant surprise. A great day out for families with little ones. Highly recommend if you’re looking for an entertaining outing these school holidays!

Viewed the drone display which was excellent. The string quartet worked hard to share their music and story telling. The only thing to consider for future events is signage from the train station to direct audience to the entry point/queue point.

In this instance the beautiful historic Caulfield Racecourse was host to the Melbourne Fair. A collection of the most beautiful antiques! After a few hours pottering,I was able to appreciate how beautiful this place is. I imagine if would be very busy during race season. Worth a visit!!

I came here for Elmo's Circus Dream and would definitely suggest getting there early as the car park was almost full. The circus itself was amazing definitely thought of the kids.

We went for the Drone Show. The show itself was nice but the logistics and operations were poorly planned. There was a massive traffic jam. The organisers wanted us to go to Car Park 9 , and because it is winter and gets dark early, the gate number wasn't visible and there were no markers to assist. The food stalls were crowded. Long Q's.

Great drone event. Not a fan of the very classic Vivaldi music. To one sided. Contemporary music would suit more patrons in my view.

Nando's Chadstone is a popular Afro-Portuguese eatery that specializes in serving flame-grilled chicken accompanied by a spicy chili sauce. The food is consistently tasty and remains hot even after a lengthy journey out of Chadstone. The skilled cooking staff, particularly Dara taking orders and Cam overseeing food preparation, are highly commendable. However, it would be preferable if the wings weren't broken apart as it makes them more difficult to eat.
Staff member named Egor greeted me at the door and took my order. They had excellent customer service, very friendly and polite. Bonus that the restaurant was clean and tidy. Well staffed and efficient. Will definitely be back!

Good experience overall! The service was quick and efficient, even during a busy hour. Our food was freshly made and served hot, which was great. They have an open station on the side for cutlery, sauces, and a handwash basin, which is convenient. There’s also a refill station for unlimited drinks with large meals. The only downside was the seating—some seats were unclean and a bit uncomfortable. But apart from that, everything else was smooth. Would visit again!
Shruti K — Google review
Tried the Halloumi Wrap at Nando’s and really enjoyed it! The halloumi was perfectly grilled, crispy on the outside and soft inside. The wrap had a nice mix of fresh veggies and Nando’s signature peri-peri flavor, making it both light and flavorful. A great vegetarian option that doesn’t compromise on taste! 🌯🔥

Good chicken here. The chicken is juicy and tender. The taste is good and delicious. The place is quite spacious, clean and comfy. Great food, great time with family...

I ordered a whole chicken with hot sauce, but there was absolutely no sauce included. Really disappointed — it completely ruined my lunch. I expected better attention to detail.
Aj — Google review
I am very disappointed with the customer service after years of being a loyal customer. The chicken I received was extremely dry and burnt, with a very bitter taste. I asked one of the staff members to replace the half-chicken that was unacceptable, but they explained that this is how they prepare the chicken. The ironic part is that I have been a customer for a long time, so I know what to expect. Unfortunately, today will be my last visit to Nando’s Chedstone. I also noticed that the experienced staff members were missing today; they have always been friendly and helpful. This is why I have chosen to come to this location consistently. Unfortunately, day by day, their customer service priorities and food quality are declining. I ordered a set meal, but my food arrived one item at a time, which was very disappointing as my previous food had already become cold.

I've been going to nandos for years, I have only ever been to nandos chadstone 3 times and each of those times over the years I have had small issues.... Until the other day! We ordered our food, both burgers and "large" chips that was about the size of a small came out, my first idea was to put extra sauce on as it didnt have much, my wife and I both lifted the buns and noticed we had barely half the burger covered in chicken. I contacted nandos about it and they were oh so kind to give me a voucher for a little under a quarter of the meals cost. Doesn't help that the staff there were just so ignorant and didnt want to actually help anyone.

disappointing serves today. I placed a takeaway order (order number w267) and received the SMS saying it's ready for pick up. I proceed to start my break and go get the food. ended up waiting 15 mins more ..not because food was cooked but because the front staff packed my food and proceeded to chat while holding it for about 5 mins and then placed my bag under the till counter bench. upon entering the store I had. showed my order confirmation sms to the staff who informed me it won't be long. store looked busy so I thought cooking time delay and was happy to wait a few minutes more. After that I saw staff pack my order as it was the only takeaway at the time and proceed to chatting with other front of house staff and then worse place my food under a counter. eventually the boy who had attended to me when I walked in the showed the order confirmation realised I'm still standing he gave me the bag. food went cold, drink was room temperature. break wasted.

If you're on the hunt for a classic fish and chip experience, look no further than Blue Sea Fish & Chips in Murrumbeena. This beloved spot has been serving up delicious meals for over 15 years, with each ownership bringing its own unique flair. The batter is a standout feature—perfectly crisp on the outside while remaining fluffy inside, making every bite a delight.
The family always comes back here for the potato cakes and calamari rings, one of the cleanest and neatest shops you’ll find (well maintained and organized). The potato cakes are consistently some of the best we’ve ever had, nice crispy batter (not too thick or chewy) with a super large slice of fluffy potato. I asked the owner where he gets them, and he mentioned he makes each one himself hence the batter is consistently thin and crunchy. Definitely a winner and you can see the owners take pride in their fare. Kept their prices & quality consistent even when there was a bit of a chip/potato shortage and energy and oil costs were going through the roof the past few years. Happy to support this quality and fair business, with generous portions.
Jit S — Google review
A little bit of a history lesson for those interested. Blue Sea Fish & Chips in Murrumbeena has had three different owners over the past 15 years, and the experience has been different each time. Fifteen years ago, it was a good-quality, humble fish and chip shop. From memory, the inside was white and grey, and it was the type of place you'd visit at least twice a week. The prices were reasonable, the staff were friendly, and the food was good. Then, around 8 or 9 years ago, management changed—and so did the décor. It became blue inside, fitting the name. But the quality dropped so hard that my family and I stopped going, even though we lived less than two minutes away. Funnily enough, I didn’t even know Google reviews were a thing back then. But if I had left one, it would've been an easy 2-star review. Anyway, that brings me to the point: management changed again, I think only 2–3 years ago? And I can safely say, it’s gone back to how it was 15 years ago—a small and humble fish and chip shop. Over the past 2 or 3 months, I’ve been going back regularly. I’ve had the plain steak sandwich, the Steakout sandwich (a steak sandwich with “the lot”), the chicken burger, and the burger with the lot. I haven’t tried their fish and chips yet, but let me just say—every item I’ve had has been great. My favourite? The Steakout sandwich. It’s a steak sandwich with egg, bacon, cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, and tomato sauce. On this particular visit, I got the burger with the lot, and it reminded me of a classic homemade burger my mum used to make. Simple. Maybe boring by some people’s standards—but a classic. It tasted fresh and clean. No grit, no frills. The beef patty reminded me more of a sausage. It wasn’t crumbly like a typical beef patty, but more like a sausage roll mince. Not bad at all. I was honestly more impressed with the egg — not too runny, and the yolk tasted great. The buns were freshly toasted on the underside and soft on top. So, the burger in my eyes is quite decent. But if I had to recommend one thing, I’d say try their steak sandwich—especially the Steakout version. The steak is tender every single time, and it has that classic "homemade taste." They use toasted sandwich bread, not buns or rolls, which makes it probably the most old-school version of a steak sandwich I’ve ever had. Also worth noting: the prices are pretty reasonable. They’re about on par with other fish and chip shops. Sure, prices have gone up over the years, but not excessively so. I hope it stays that way because Blue Sea has made a huge comeback in recent years. To think, there was a time I stopped going altogether. But that’s really all it takes — 2 or 3 bad experiences and… never again. I’m glad I gave it another chance. Give it a shot if you’re in the area.

Have to go. These guys are all a good old fashioned fish and chip should be, of particular note was the batter and cooking it was perfect crisp outside and still pillowy on the inside. Sir you are a master chef. Point deduction for the flake it was good but needs a tad of improvement find a supplier with a thick cut bit more body and you are gold. Service was terrific and it was 38 outside full shop and these guys still managed a smile. Well done to you all just improve the flake. Go try it you wint be disappointed.

Cafe
St Zita's Cafe is a delightful gem that beautifully blends Malaysian flavors with Australian café culture. The journey of its owner, who grew up in Malaysia and pursued her dreams through coffee-making and travel, adds a personal touch to the experience. The menu features an enticing mix of traditional dishes like nasi lemak and Maggi goreng alongside beloved Aussie staples such as corn fritters.
Best cafe in Glen Huntley! The food are great, especially the Nasi Lemak, with the fried chicken, the chicken skin are so crispy and perfectly match with the coconut rice. The coffee are rich and delicious, great to enjoy a cup in the afternoon. And thank you so much for the puffs, they cream are so soft yet light, definitely best puffs I ever tried. I will definitely come back very soon!

Across the road from the train station, really nice and simple cafe! The food is delicious and priced quite reasonably. The staff is friendly and most importantly the coffee is perfection! Plenty of seating to sit inside, next to the painted wall.

Decent nasi lemak - rice is fragrant, chicken is crispy but still moist. Sambal is flavourful but I would describe it as closer to a Nyonya-style sambal petai type of sambal - more fragrant, less chilli forward. Still good but not what I expected for a nasi lemak. Slight issue with the rice being too clumpy and wet. Could have also used more peanuts and ikan bilis, but appreciated that they put in the effort to fry them. Stir fried rice noodles had really good flavour but a little too wet.

Wow. This place is a gem. I cannot believe it doesn’t have a long queue in front of it on the weekends. Recently, I had the big breakfast which was amazing. Felt like I was back in the UK. I’ve got there a couple of times for breakfast and lunch. Never had been disappointed. Most of all, the coffee was sooo good. I’d definitely suggest giving their food and hot beverages a try. I think this is going to be my brunch spot.

Asian brunch @stzitas is perfect for your weekend dining plans. Comforting, delicious Asian curries, burgers, Asian desserts and so much more @stzitas has to offer. The decor is very quirky with cute little corners of games and music, and anime character dolls and plushies here and there. The ambiance is very relaxing, and charming. What we had here: St Zita’s burger, juicy, tempting and very addictive one it is, also I’d say quite fresh to eat too. Must try for sure. Curry chicken served with steamed rice, the chicken was packed with flavours with a subtle hint of spiciness, but it’s perfect antidote for chilly winter afternoons. The chicken is tender and very yummy to eat, strongly recommended. Chicken waffles with maple syrup, the waffles were bit dry and thick, but rest assured, the fried chicken was absolutely mouthwatering and so perfectly crisp on the outside and tender from the inside. Brown sugar Boba chiffon cake, absolutely delightful, delectable and very irresistible, the fluffy cake with the boba will melt inside your mouth right from the very first bite, strongly recommended. Japanese strawberry crepe cake was very fresh, light and really tasty. Must try. We also had a match latte and hot chocolate, both were equally satisfying to drink. We also had a berry smoothie which was really refreshing in taste. The prices of the items are extremely reasonable and pocket friendly, and the staff are all here very cheerful and welcoming in nature and the service is very prompt and friendly. So guys checkout this cute little asian cafe @stzitas this week with your friends and family for a sumptuous and amazing brunch/breakfast.

Went to this place on 21.01.24 and reach there just after 10am, parking alone the road was plenty. From the outside, the shop looked a bit outdated. Inside was also simple, but comfortable, though the sitting area is not that big - probably can accommodate 16 to 20 customers. On the morning I reached, there's just 2 customers already in there. I order the cappuccino which was perfectly executed - not to hot, just nice. I also order the Egg Benedict, and it was beautifully done and decorated, not fancy, just nice, and the salad and grilled mushroom on the side, not a big portion but a very nice touch. The Egg Benedict was one of the best I have eaten in and around Melbourne, if not the best - both poached eggs were perfectly done, hollandaise sauce is just enough, not too much. Overall, the portion was perfectly nice for breakfast, not too heavy, not too small. The price is reasonable. Service was good, though the food come on the slower side, considering there are not many customer around, but for the perfectly done Egg Benedict, it can be excused.

Been wanting to visit here for a while because I’ve seen a lot of Asian menus there that I have been craving. I ordered the zucchini fritters. For me, there was way too much flour that I felt like it was just fried batter, but the sides were delicious (mushrooms, potato hash, egg). My boyfriend ordered the Malaysian Nasi Lemak. This was a disappointment. First, there was no sambal (like HOW?!). The most trivial thing, though, was that the chicken was completely raw inside (like red and clearly uncooked). When we called the waitress over to ask if they could cook it further, she tried to argue with us that it had already been “properly cooked” in the kitchen. Took a while and a bit of argument for her to realize that the chicken was really uncooked. They then gave us a new piece of fried chicken and a choice of complimentary appetizer. We got the takoyaki—this one I really liked and didn’t have anything to complain about, so you better get that if you do visit.

Nice food and nice staff, with beautiful paintings on the wall here. Spending all the day here is really wonderful, quiet and cozy atmosphere make people relaxed. Also recommend drinks here! I try Chia Latte and Ice Coffee Latte, both are really delicious! Chia Latte with pure cinnamon powder and Ice Coffee Latte with whipped cream on the top, feel unforgettably awesome after drinking, it's definitely worthy to order them. Come to enjoy local Melbourne coffee shop in Zita's Cafe!

Fine dining restaurant
Amaru is a highly acclaimed dining spot that offers an intimate setting and a tasting menu showcasing the finest local ingredients. Chef Clinton McIver and his team craft meticulously prepared dishes, such as the popular salted Woodside goats curd with honeycomb, lemon myrtle, and sorrel. The restaurant's dedication to quality extends to its drink pairings, with options like mango kombucha complementing the meal perfectly.
If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! This restaurant offers the best service I have ever experienced. Every staff member was incredibly attentive, thoughtful, and genuinely cared about every detail to make sure we had the perfect dining experience. The food was absolutely delicious—every dish was full of flavour and beautifully presented. What made the night even more special was their unique approach to the menu: they keep it a secret during the meal, introducing each dish individually with so much passion and detail, and then revealing the full menu at the end, which they even hand to you as a keepsake! It’s truly a one-of-a-kind experience that’s 100% worth visiting.

I’ve eaten in some great places, but nothing quite like this. At Amaru, it’s not just one chef hidden away in the kitchen- the whole team comes out to present their creations. Every course is introduced by the person who actually made it, their eyes lighting up as they explain the flavours and techniques. It’s intimate without being awkward, like being let in on a secret each time a plate hits the table. Each dish was a masterpiece, the kind you admire for a moment, almost hesitant to break its perfection, before surrendering to flavours that make you wonder if anything else will ever compare. Service flowed with quiet precision, every element appearing at exactly the right time, as though the staff could read the room’s every need. And the atmosphere… refined yet warm, wrapping the evening in an unmatched charm. They made our anniversary a very special and unforgettable evening. To everyone at Amaru- may your traffic lights always be perfectly green, your pillows forever soft and blissfully cold, and the closest parking spot always waiting just for you. 😇

I went there alone, after my business trip ended. The chefs, waiters/waitresses and sommeliers are friendly, helpful and passionate about what they do. The chefs and waiters also explained each dish and beverage pairing very clearly, highlighting Australian produce, and did it with passion and joy. Go for the chef’s counter, you won’t regret it!

I’ve dined at some of the world’s most renowned restaurants, and Amaru has topped them all. From the moment we walked in until the moment we left, the experience was perfect in every way. From the simple yet elegant setting, professional & warm service to the creativity of each dish; we were blown away. Every dish left us genuinely impressed. Each time we thought the food couldn’t get any better, it did. The food was incredibly fresh, with flavours that were so beautifully balanced you could taste the thought and care behind each plate. Nothing felt heavy or overwhelming — just pure creativity and harmony on every level. We walked out feeling not only satisfied but amazed by the entire journey. We came to celebrate a friend’s birthday but left with an amazing dining experience we won’t forget. Thank you to the team for your hospitality.

Crowned the best in Melbourne for a reason. From the moment you walk in you know you are in for a night of amazing food. Every single course is well thought through, and the choice for wine pairing is exquisite. This is the epitome of culinary art.

Had an amazing dinner at Amaru. The food and non-alcoholic pairing was very thoughtfully and went very well with the beautiful food presented. And the service was impeccable and friendly, everyone took the time to have a chat without interrupting the flow. Love it!!

This restaurant is phenomenal. I went in expecting to be disappointed due to the high price point and rave reviews, but their food, service and attention to detail clearly justifies the prices they are charging. We had 18 courses, with one extra special birthday cake surprise at the end, and each and every one of them was more mind blowing than the last. Highlights included the marron dish served with the potato bread, the beetroot and eel tart, the quail, blue fin tuna, steak and the sorbet and tonka bean ice cream desserts. What makes this place extra special is its commitment to culinary excellence. The kitchen is open and bustling and the food is ran to the table by the chefs themselves, ensuring that we as customers fully understand and appreciate what we’re eating. The service from the FOH was also outstanding, they were very knowledge about wines and friendly and personable throughout. This is the best restaurant in Melbourne, and i imagine if it was located anywhere else in the world it would receive 2 or 3 michelin stars. Save up for amaru, it’s worth it

Caulfield Park is a vast and picturesque outdoor space that features a lake with various waterfowl like ducks and geese. The park boasts of an ample play area, a cricket field, and barbecue facilities for visitors to enjoy. It has plenty of beautiful trees providing shade from the sun while also offering benches and grassy areas for seating. Additionally, there are toilets present on-site as well as playgrounds for children to explore.
Definitely will come back. What a gem! Kids can watch the birds and ducks, look for turtles and other creatures in the pond and have a good play in the playground and ride their scooters around. Lots of shades. There are a few cafes nearby.

Caulfield Park is a great spot for running with a peaceful, refreshing vibe. The park has a 2.5 km loop that’s flat and perfect for both long runs and easy jogs. Shaded by trees, it stays cool even in the summer, and running by the lake adds a nice scenic touch. While there are plenty of people, the park is spacious enough that it never feels crowded. Early mornings are especially quiet, making it ideal for a calm start to the day. Plus, there are fitness stations and good lighting in the evenings for safe night runs. Overall, it's a convenient and enjoyable place to run.

Caulfield Park is the jewel of Glen Eira's parks. There's something to get all ages and life stages outdoors. On the western perimeter, there's tram accessibility to shops, cafes and shady formal gardens including a renovated lake and arbour. Mid park sits the bowls and tennis club on the south side, a small accessible car park to service sport pavillions for multiple cricket and soccer ovals. Dog walkers share this space as there's easy street parking alongside.Directly behind on the north side sits the largest of kids playgrounds and bird aviary. On the east side are a few basketball courts frequented by community groups and picnickers. This sprawling metropolis is so huge, there's a 1.5km gravel track surrounding the equivalent of 4 street blocks. 😳 Enjoy a trip to Baker Bleu or Sweethearts whilst you're in the area.

Caulfield Park is Glen Eira's largest park and, understandably, also the most popular. Its design reflects the history of the park, and its diverse array of facilities support its status as a major hub for a plethora of activities within Glen Eira. I love walking around the park and observing the seasons as reflected in the diverse flora and fauna of the park.

Luscious and leafy Caulfield Park located at - 280 Balaclava Rd, Caulfield North - is somewhat of a partially hidden gem. Walking through it - is a very relaxing experience and one that Johann Wolfgang von Goethe would have enjoyed. It has a bit of everything, including a lot of 100+ year old trees, ponds and lots of ducks to go with it. Walkers and joggers enjoy the 3.7 sand tan track that runs around the perimeter, whilst children love the paths, play areas and nature in the interior. There is an 'official' off leash area for dogs - you read between the lines - let's just say it appears to be quite a dog friendly vibe all round. There is a serious war memorial adorning the three words of - Palestine, Egypt and Gallipoli - built in 1932 - towering out of the Western parkland. This park provides a whacking amount of shade and is refreshingly quiet even though it is surrounded by busy streets. A great spot for that first or second date as well! Grab food and coffees from the neary cafe (of which there are many) - and discover for yourself what makes this park so perfect. - Hamish John Appleby // APPLEBY PHOTOGRAPHY

What a beautiful park! It's like visiting the country what with its pond, ducks water features, bridges, etc etc, so so lovely. Good play area for kids but also fantastically they also have a sensory play area for kids who prefer that environment. Nice place for a meander or a picnic. Just sweet. Go for a stroll.

Lovely, spacious park with lots of beautiful trees. There’s a nice track that goes around the entire park if you would like a longer walk, but plenty of space to sit down (both benches and on the grass) if you’re just here to enjoy some time outdoors. Lots of parking here and there are toilets and playgrounds. Many birds by the lake. Definitely would recommend a visit!

Playground
Harleston Park, located at 40 Allison Road in Elsternwick, is a beautiful playground that offers traditional play equipment and water play in the stream. The park provides plenty of natural shade, toilets, and space for picnics. Families can enjoy the hilly landscape that adds an element of adventure for kids to explore.
I recently had the pleasure of visiting Harleston Park in Elsternwick, and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed by all it has to offer. From the moment I arrived, it was evident that this park has been thoughtfully designed with families and community enjoyment in mind. One of the highlights for me was the hilly landscape. This added an element of interest and adventure, making it perfect for families and kids to explore. The park features a wide range of amenities, including playground equipment, a rotunda for gatherings and parties, and even a half-size basketball court for those looking to stay active. I particularly appreciated the running creek, which provided a refreshing respite from the summer heat. The mature trees throughout the park offer ample shade and picturesque sitting areas, creating a tranquil environment for relaxation and enjoyment. But what truly stood out to me was the variety of engaging playground equipment available. From interactive features like the metal horn to sandy play areas for younger children, Harleston Park offers something for kids of all ages. It's evident that careful consideration went into every aspect of the park's design, resulting in a space that encourages exploration, creativity, and fun. Overall, my experience at Harleston Park was exceptional, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a well-rounded and enjoyable outdoor experience.

Gorgeous little park with alot of fun things to do for the kids. HOWEVER.. they have the most blatantly bold gang of pigeons I've ever met in my life.. those birds do not fear humans and they are almost chicken sized.

The Booran Reserve provides a great place for people to relax and play. Families with kids looking for an awesome place where their children can play with great playground equipment such as slides, swings, roped climbing structures and a running stream of water that young and old alike will definitely find entertaining - bring spare clothes for your young ones! The reserve also has lots of space to hold parties. There are tables with benches around plus bbq facilities. It is also good that the council has put in toilet facilities for guests to use - I think this should be a standard for reserves especially when you have kids who want to make a toilet run. Bring with you your basketball, your mates and have a good pick-up game of basketball because this reserve has a half-court! Parking can be a bit crowded on a good day which is understandable given how beautifully made this reserve is. But street parking around the area is good and a good short walk won't hurt anyone.

The mansion is very beautiful and well preserved. The tour was just a small group of 10-15 people so it’s not overcrowded. The tour guide who is a local is very informative of the estate and its surroundings’ history. You can also explore the garden and grounds after the tour. The garden tour was $15pp and for an additional $10pp, you get to have a guided tour inside the mansion as well.

Extensive tracks for all kinds of exercise surrounded by extensive bushland and wetlands. Great place for children with bikes to feel free and unfettered.

Karkarook Park is very big with large areas of water, lakes, ponds and wetlands. You can jog, walk dogs, picnic, sunbathe, cycle, do sports, go fishing, fly kites, read under the shade, watch birds and fish (but don’t feed them), have gatherings with families and friends, bring your kids and do many things. There are BBQ facilities, tables, benches, a playground, public toilet, watching bridges, large area of grass and trees. Watch out for other people if you cycle on the walking tracks because young kids are easily hit. Walk with your bikes if crowded. There are usually many people on weekends but you will find your personal space in this awesome park. Some small walking trails are hidden with thorns, bird and dogs’ poo, slippery and can trip you to the nearby water easily, so be careful. Experienced hikers like them. You can reach the park by public transit, bus 903 for example.

Great park, perfect to bring children or just go for a walk. There’s plenty of places for children to play and have picnics. It’s a beautiful place to walk around and admire the water and birdlife. There’s plenty of amenities such as shaded picnic table areas and toilets. The parking can get full very fast in peak times but you can always park at the Bunnings that’s not too far away.

Karkarook Park in Heatherton is an absolute gem! From the moment you step in, you’re greeted with lush greenery, wide open spaces, and stunning lake views that make it feel like a peaceful escape from the city. The walking and cycling paths are well-maintained and perfect for a leisurely stroll, a jog, or a family bike ride. There are plenty of picnic spots with shady trees, making it ideal for a relaxing afternoon with friends or family. The playgrounds are fantastic for kids, and the lake attracts so much wildlife, adding a real sense of nature and tranquility. Whether you’re into birdwatching, exercising, or just soaking up the scenery, Karkarook Park has it all. I honestly can’t recommend it enough – it’s one of those places you can visit over and over and always find something new to enjoy. A true local treasure! 😍

What a beautiful surprise in the middle of suburbia! Karkarook Lake is such a peaceful and scenic spot — perfect for a walk with the dog, cycling, picnic BBQ, play with the kids at the playground or watch the ducks. Perfect scenery for sunset pics too😉

A very pleasant little park, lovely lake, lots of birdlife. The only detraction is the ever present traffic noise from the main roads around it.

Fine dining restaurant
Restaurant
Attica, located in Australia, is a highly acclaimed restaurant known for its inventive tasting menus and select wines. The dining experience at Attica is far from typical fine dining, with a casual vibe and an eclectic menu featuring unique dishes like emu liver parfait, kelp-wrapped marron, and crocodile ribs. The restaurant underwent a comprehensive renovation in 2017 and now offers a more comfortable atmosphere with new dishes that highlight little-known native Australian ingredients.
Brought my family here for a meal and it was 10/10. The use of local Australian ingredients was nicely imagined. All the dishes had the right flavor and punch. The service here was the highlight. The staff and servers were very welcoming, and when they saw that one of my daughters did not like the dish they came and offered to change up some of the ingredients and served the dish again. The theater of the dining was also nicely incorporated into the three hour meal. At the end of the meal, the chocolate cart was a favorite among my daughters. Congrats to chef Ben and the team for a job well done

Attica was a very special experience. It was more than just a meal, it was more of an experience, where you are taken on a journey through their meals. The service was spot on, allowing ample time to enjoy each meal and rest in between. The meals were impeccable, they took extra care to ask about my dietary requirements, ensuring to clarify each meal was allowed for and I didn't feel I missed out at all as they simply modified the meal so I could still enjoy the full experience. I would highly recommend it you are seeking a special meal out.

First time dining at Attica, loved every minute of it. Love that it was able to accommodate a celiac (not all fine dining even at an equivalent price point do) wait staff very attentive and knowledgeable. Only regret is not remembering to take a photograph of the lasagna dish. If I had to offer a critique (really splitting hairs) it maybe had a bit too many other diners but 1) I dined on a Friday and 2) even so not enough that it impacted my enjoyment that I would not want to come again.

After trying to get a table for a long time, my partner managed to get one for us for my birthday. We could not have had a better experience. The staff were very welcoming and knowledgeable and attentive. The food was amazing and lived up to everything I had heard. I would love to have a bag of the saltbush, while we love everything the stand out dishes were the lasagne and marron. While it is not a cheap dinner, it was definitely worth the price. I look forward to returning in the future.

What an unforgettable experience at @atticamelbourne. Every course felt like a love letter to Australian produce — delicate, deeply considered, and bursting with flavour. The way they hero local ingredients, especially those inspired by and honouring First Nations food traditions, is truly something special. The service was nothing short of impeccable — warm, intuitive, and deeply passionate. You can feel how much heart goes into every plate, every pairing, every story shared across the table. It’s more than just dining; it’s storytelling through food. A celebration of Australia — its land, its people, its spirit. Absolutely world-class.

Recommended by a chef friend from Singapore, I had high expectations — and Attica more than delivered! The opening snacks were exceptional, setting the tone for a meal which is full of surprises — including some adventurous native proteins (I'll keep it a secret!). A highlight was the visit to their kitchen garden, where we enjoyed fresh Tasmanian mushrooms — such a thoughtful and unique touch with apple juice too :) The entire evening lasted around three hours, but it never felt long — each course brought something new and engaging. The service was excellent, and the atmosphere felt both relaxed and refined. If you're in Melbourne, Attica is absolutely worth a stop. You'll leave full, inspired, and with a deeper appreciation for Australian ingredients. Huge thanks to the team!
Donnie G — Google review
Venison-like Crocodile fillet, kangaroo meat, ants 🐜 deserts … all these ingredients are original from Australian and hard to find in other counties. Attica is the one must try in Melbourne for foodies and those curious about trying new types of dishes.

3rd time back and Attica did not disappoint. They delivered an unforgettable dining experience that exceeded all expectations. The food was simply phenomenal — creative, beautifully presented, and bursting with flavour in every course. The service was warm, attentive, and seamless throughout the night, striking the perfect balance between professionalism and genuine hospitality. The ambiance was intimate and inviting, creating the ideal setting for a special celebration. We were there to mark a 70th birthday, and the team went above and beyond to make it feel truly personal and memorable. Every detail felt considered, and we couldn't have asked for a better evening.

Coffee shop
Spout Cafe is a trendy hangout with a warm atmosphere, featuring wooden furnishings and exposed brick walls. The cafe offers an exciting breakfast menu with seasonal twists, such as blackberry Bircher, maple-roasted strawberry buckwheat pancakes, and spicy citrus black beans on quinoa corn bread. It's known for its Australian dishes and vegetarian-friendly options. The north-facing outdoor seating area provides a great spot to enjoy coffee while the stylish interior adds to the overall experience.
Beautiful coffee, and the pita pockets are the stuff of dreams, served with lemony tahini and Harissa sauce to drizzle on top. Reasonably priced, too! My only feedback is the little wooden stool I was sitting on was very uncomfortable 😅 Highly recommend!
Joshua P — Google review
Found this little gem as we were pastry hopping around the area (Zelda). Very grateful to have found Spout as the food is not only unique in cultural influence but absolutely delicious and worth the longer than usual wait time. Only minor negative, hardly worth mentioning is that it did get remarkably busy and at that point only one staff was working, eventually a female wait staff appeared, but it did take almost 15 minutes after we ordered drinks to be asked for our food order. Otherwise, absolutely recommend anyone wanting a delicious hearty breaky/brunch. We will be back!

Vegetarian restaurant
Nostralis Wholemeal Vegetarian & Vegan Pızza is a favourite vegetarian restaurant for those looking for healthy and delicious pizza options. They pride themselves on using organic ingredients in their pies, as well as providing gluten-free, wheat-free bases so that everyone can enjoy their food. Their toppings are piled high, making them an excellent choice for a casual meal.
I visited Nostralis Wholemeal Vegetarian & Vegan Pizza in Caulfield all the way from Clyde North, and it’s absolutely worth the trip every single time! This is my fifth visit, and once again the food was amazing. The pizzas are always fresh, healthy, and full of flavor with that perfect wholemeal base. The consistency in taste and quality is truly impressive. Easily one of my favorite spots for pizza in Melbourne. Highly recommended for anyone who loves vegetarian and vegan food – you won’t be disappointed!
Shivam T — Google review
I’m not vegetarian and not planning to be one soon. But after hearing about this pizza place from friends, I decided to try them. To my surprise, it was absolutely delicious! I had their vegetarian meatball pizza for dinner and I loved it! Sooo fresh, tasty and made with love! Service is 10/10 and responsibly priced too! Highly recommend this joint if you are looking for a vegetarian pizza place 👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾. Well done team👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

I am a hardcore omnivore, but I will definetly return for some home style vegetarian pizzas. Loved the ambience, cozy and home style. They were busy even on a Sunday evening. But the pizzas were great and were fast. We ordered a pumpkin, corn - beansprouts and vindaloo pizza. Loved them all. Must try for vegan and vegetarian folks for sure. And they do a wholemeal base which feels much easier on the stomach.
Solo D — Google review
Customer service, family orientated dine in good for friends dates or just hanging out to get some pizza the entire menu is vegan, including the meat products, gluten, they don’t just do pizzas. Other stuff is on the menu as well, it is delicious.
Kevin F — Google review
My family and I are new to veganism and were craving a good pizza that would not get on the way of our new dietary restrictions. We found Nostralis, ordered 3 different pizzas and all 3 were delicious! The gentleman in charge was very understanding of our lack of experience and gave us great suggestions. He was friendly, kind and fast. We will definitely be frequent customers.
Perla — Google review
Super healthy and yummy pizza for the vegetarian and vegans! You can eat in (a few tables inside) or take away (call before you leave home if you are a local, which usually takes 10-15 mins only). Customise whatever ingredients you want or not want (I always skip the olives) and trust their menu even they look so bazaar for some..... The banana pizza is extremely nice!! Don't judge the look because your taste buds and guys are going to love it!
June L — Google review
Came here by accident as I was lured by the smell of pizza walking past.. and the taste backed up the smell! I had a small Vindaloo + soft drink. Pizza was cheesy, juicy, and filled to the edge (which I love). The small size is about 1.5 meals portion of what I usually eat. On top of this, I also like the friendly services. The shop allows you to leave your name card on the board if you have any businesses/services. I thought this was a cute community gesture.
Nita W — Google review
It is often hard to find variety and flavour when it comes to vegetarian / vegan food (particularly outside of the city) Given the interior decor which resembles a sauna this place must have been a pioneer back in the day when it first opened That being said the pizzas were different Now different can be bad but in this case it was good We are talking about some seriously funky combinations though that being said they were still delicious in their own right ! The best part is probably the home made dough; this cooks so well and tastes amazing :)

Mediterranean restaurant
John and Angelo's Mediterranean Greek Tavern in Elsternwick is a family-owned restaurant known for its vibrant Greek atmosphere and delicious food. The owners, Angelo and John, attribute the success of their restaurant to their focus on using fresh ingredients. Every morning, they hand-pick meat, fish, and produce from the market to serve at dinner that night.
This was a great find. We came a bit early but were welcomed inside. We had a meat platter and full we were for the rest of the evening. They also offered bread and salad as a starter. Impressed how authentic it is to greek culture and cuisine. Even salt is from Greece. I would go again without any doubt!

Celebrated an occasion with a group of people at one of Melbourne's best value for money Greek Restaurants in Elsternwick providing tasty meals, many menu options and large portions. Service was first class, atmosphere really nice and it was a very memorable night. Our guests raved about the Saganaki, Meat Platter, Mousaka, Lamb Souvlaki, Seafood Platter etc. For you next birthday, wedding anniversary, date night and other celebrations, have a chat to Perry and I am sure he will make sure your experience is very memorable.

We visited the Mediterranean Greek Tavern on a Friday evening and were delighted to be met by Perry the owner who was both engaging, accommodating and attentive. We had been hankering after some authentic Greek food for quite some time and we found it here in spades. Everything made in-house, the Dolmades brought back memories of past trips to Greece. The grill platter for two was generous and bursting with beautiful flavors and those lovely crispy bits of gyros and souvlaki meat we all so love. Perry was generous and warm, inviting us to sit and almost immediately serving us some complimentary tasty treats. We will definitely be back for more!

Such a fun place to dine, especially when they have music. The food is always good. It'd be nice if there were some more vegan options, even though the choices they do have are yummy, they're quite expensive and not very filling. I always end up ordering hot chips, which I could just cook myself at home. My meat-loving friends and family are always happy with their meals.

The Melbourne Holocaust Museum, also known as the Jewish Holocaust Centre (JHC), was established in 1984 by Holocaust survivors with a mission to commemorate the six million Jews murdered by the Nazis. The museum features artifacts that deepen understanding of this tragic period in history and hosts the Everybody Had a Name exhibition, offering an opportunity to gain insight into the horror endured during WWII. The Jewish Holocaust Centre (JHC) (formerly known as the Jewish Holocaust Museum and Research Centre) was founded in Elsternwick, Melbourne, Australia, in 1984 by Holocaust survivors. Its mission is to commemorate the six million Jews murdered by the Nazis between 1933 and 1945. The centre was founded without significant public or private funds and thus has always had to rely on support from Holocaust survivors, their relatives, volunteers and philanthropists. It is thanks to the unique contribution of Melbourne's Holocaust survivors that the JHC has become a vibrant institution. The Centre contains a specialist Holocaust library, a collection of over 1300 survivor video testimonials as well as thousands of original documents, photos, artworks and objects from the Holocaust period. Jewish Holocaust Centre The purpose of the JHC is to fight racism and to encourage harmony within the community. It attempts to reach these goals by providing information about the Holocaust through its permanent exhibition and periodic temporary exhibitions. The main focus lies on the younger generation, and over 21,000 students visit the museum every year and participate in a powerful education program. In 2011 the museum was the recipient of the MAGNA Best Small Museum award by Museums Australia, following a redesign of the permanent exhibition. Apart from guided tours through the museum, which are often led by Holocaust survivors, the JHC offers adult education programs, teacher training and also hosts lectures which are open to the public. Furthermore, the JHC provides assistance for Holocaust Survivors in cooperation with JewishCare, a Jewish welfare organization.

Can not recommend enough. Go straight for the platters for a bit of everything. Have been a dozen times for family events and casual gatherings, or before catching a movie at the classic cinema next door. Never disappointed..except when I didn’t realise they opened until after 1pm on Sunday - but good news they have extended their hours so can now get a table at 11am :D Extremely friendly staff that remember you, I got a complimentary cake slice and of course a fine caramel vodka shot on the house. They can get rather busy during peak times. Oh, and enjoy the winter delight of mulled wine.

Came here after work for a quick feed. Ordered the veal schnitzel, vodka honey prawns and the cheese and potato dumplings. The dumplings by far were the stand out of the bunch. They seemed slightly expensive though.

Kochi Cafe is a delightful gem that brings the vibrant flavors of western India's coastal villages right to your plate. This cozy spot offers an array of authentic dishes, including the mouthwatering Kerala-style roast beef and tangy prawn curry with mango, reminiscent of Alleppey's culinary traditions. Diners rave about the newly introduced Thali, a generous platter that showcases various dishes at great value.
Recently visited Kochi Cafe and was completely blown over. What a gem! The food is authentic and amazing. It’s not like industrial approach most restaurants have nowadays. I could see the care that the chef personally took with each dish. Absolutely rare to find that. Well balanced, great play on spices, fresh food and respect for the produce was shining through. Absolutely enjoyed the food. The place was clean and well put together. Got to know that the owner self designed the decor and hand drew on the wall. Exquisite! The best part was the customer engagement- friendly and warm. The owner’s lovely wife really made me feel special and took great care of my table. Fab customer service too. What a great combination!! Can’t wait to visit again.

I had the best dining out experience for the first time in ages! Everything was beautifully presented and delicious. Reasonably priced and very good value for money. The owner was friendly and nice too. I'm so happy that I had dinner here tonight ☺️ (Edit) Just visited Kochi cafe for the second time and had a feast 😁 I added more photos from tonight. Everything was really delicious!

5th visit: My housemate and I came to have a late dinner, and were very happy to see they've now added Thali to the menu! Such a delicious platter of dishes, so filling, and fantastic value for money. Highly recommend!!! 1st visit: My friend and I ordered the Ghee roast chicken, fish and prawn curry and parotta. It was so delicious, cooked to perfection, and very authentic south Indian cuisine. The chef is so friendly and you feel like you are eating a home cooked meal. We will definitely visit again!

We had dined yesterday here, ordered sambar vada and gobhi 65 as starters. Mains: Ghee Roast , beef curry , porotta and tamarind rice. Just want to say everything was amazing, delicious. Being someone from Kerala all I want to say finally an amazing south Indian restaurant in Melbourne. Felt really satisfied, highly recommended. Will surely visit again and recommend to friends. Nice meeting the owner Ajith, done a good job with the decor simple but elegant

Food: Loved ghee roast chicken the most. I even like Malabari chicken. And I even like cocunut based veg sabhjhi and their special kerala style paratha was so so yum that we had to repeat paratha order atleast 3 times. Highly recommend. Please try and spread the word that this is a must go keralian taste food. All other Indian restaurant serve Punjabi food and I am honestly tired of that taste. I really enjoyed food here and The fact that they were open till late on Christmas Day until late was great… They even have few curry powders and coffee to sell Powder Back story: we honestly wanted to go to swagat but they closed early and than we had only Kochi cafe which was open. Thank god for that. We would have never come to this place if we had other known options open as we never heard of it before. And after speaking to staff here we got to know that they have opened recently. Moral: thanks to god that we discovered this place that serve unique, less oily yet yummy food

Ordered a Kerala beef fry as takeaway.. it should be a dry item and not a curry item.. reported it to them straight away after bringing it home.. and they said it’s how they make it.. Guys, please change the name of this item.. this is not an authentic Kerala beef fry or beef ulerthu dish.. Also, definitely not worth for $25 .. THE QUANTITY IS SO LESS 🙄AND QUALITY ISN’T the BEST 😢 when compared to other Kerala restaurants in Melbourne…. very much disappointed.. To add to this, the parotta was so hard like a rubber mat to tear it apart.. 😭 Update: 02/05/2022 - the product name changed to “BEEF ROAST” now which makes more sense for the item that I received. Hope it gets reflected on your menu cards as well so that true Keralaites won’t be disappointed as it could potentially ruin the reputation of the nice setup you created. Good luck mate .. will see down the track if the relative tastes matches all the time.. 😎

Restaurant
Son In Law Melbourne is a trendy Thai restaurant that offers a modern twist on traditional Thai cuisine. The restaurant is known for its cute and delicious range of character baos, including Hello Kitty and Snorlax. Visitors have praised the accommodating staff, with one guest even visiting three times during their trip. Despite initial doubts about the food due to its adorable appearance, guests were pleasantly surprised by the delicious and flavorful dishes, such as fried chicken and duck rice.
We visited their pop-up store in Chinatown at Burwood. Tried their character bao buns and they didnt disappoint. The flavours were so good and the buns looked so cute. We got there just in time before the queue got so busy.

The place is good for what it is. It’s a small shop with limited seating outside. The characters are super cute so I get why this place would be popular. When we arrived there was no line and we ordered quite quickly. The food took a bit of time to arrive. The table was really dirty so we used hand sanitizer and tissue to clean it. The seats weren’t too clean either. I think this would be a good place to grab and go (if the food came out a bit quicker). The food itself was nice. We wanted something light so it did the trick. The bao was nice and fluffy. I preferred the fried chicken one to the prawn one. I’m not sure if I would come back to try a second time but I am glad I tried it! It was nice:)

These cute desserts were delicious. We didn't have to wait long to order, and they had a great variety of cute food to choose from (normally they sell out super fast). The staff were nice and helpful. There was only seating outside, but there were plenty to pick from.

Couldn't be happier with the bao bun - unique and great flavour that totally hit the mark! Came out warm, soft, and delicious! Had been seeing their IG page on my feed for a while and was stoked to finally try it and it didn't disappoint. Wish we got to try the egg custard flavor, however, as we ended up getting two strawberries instead of one. Nevertheless, all tastes great. Would definjtely go back to try some more later!

I almost felt bad eating them because the baos were so cute! Highly recommend the cartoon gua bao — especially the soft shell crab and fried chicken options. Super flavourful, well-balanced, and definitely worth the price. A fun and tasty experience!

Restaurant
Stokehouse St Kilda is an upscale Australian restaurant located along the esplanade with stunning views of the ocean. The iconic eatery offers a vibrant atmosphere and exceptional service, making it a perfect escape for a delightful dining experience. Following its reconstruction after a fire in 2014, Stokehouse has become the first Australian restaurant to achieve a five-star Green Star rating for its design, showcasing its dedication to sustainability.
We had an exceptional dining experience at Stokehouse in St Kilda. The fine dining menu was elegantly curated—each dish delicately balanced in flavour and beautifully presented. While portion sizes leaned towards the refined, the quality and composition more than made up for it. Our server, Meg, was outstanding—her recommendations were spot on and added to the overall experience. The ambience was truly 5-star, offering a sophisticated yet relaxed atmosphere that made for a perfect setting. It is on the pricier side, but absolutely worth it for a special occasion. We hosted a business partner visiting from overseas, and it proved to be an impressive and memorable choice. Highly recommended.

Loved this restaurant! Came here for a weekday lunch and sat downstairs with a beautiful view of the water, so peaceful and picturesque.✨ Even though it was quiet, the atmosphere still felt warm and inviting. The waitstaff were lovely and really knowledgeable about the menu. Our starters were great, such an unexpected combination of flavours that somehow worked perfectly together. I also really enjoyed my pasta as the main (wish I remembered the names of the dishes.😅) I'll definitely be back to try their dinner menu!

What a great place to hang out. The ocean view & the ambience was what drew me in the first place, but I left stunned with the food. The starters were brilliant. The tuna belly & the octopus tops the best. The complimentary bread & butter was AMAZING! So fresh & tasty. Highly recommend for special occasion. Expect to pay about $150-200 per head but it's worth it.

From the very first moment we arrived at the restaurant for lunch, no one greeted us. The host at the entrance was busy with a tablet or computer, and only after finishing his task did he look up and say hello. We were then seated, but no food menu was offered – only a drinks menu. We mentioned that we don’t drink alcohol and would only have water, but even after that no one came back to give us a food menu. While waiting, my friend and I started taking a few photos. A staff member came over and, although saying they didn’t mind, spoke in a rather unfriendly/toxic tone, suggesting that our photos might disturb other guests, even though we were very quiet and respectful. Later, when we finally managed to order food, appetisers were brought without bread. After quite a long wait, bread eventually arrived, but by that time the scallops I had ordered and didn’t eat were taken away from the table without me even noticing. I hadn’t had the chance to eat them. What upset me most was that nobody asked if it was okay to clear them, despite the fact that I hadn’t touched them. It is a common sense to make sure that customers really want them to be taken, or they should have asked why we didn’t eat them. Only afterwards, when I was looking back at the photos from our lunch, did I realise that I never actually got to try my scallops. I had been waiting for the bread, which arrived too late, and by then the scallops were already gone. When it came time to pay, my friend and I wanted to split the bill. While we were still figuring out how, the waiter tried to run away. When I told him I was ready to pay, he replied that he would come back later and we had to point out again that we are actually paying now and ask him take our payment. The whole process felt rushed, but food and menu delivery was slow. Overall, I left feeling very disappointed. The service showed a lack of respect and attention, and what should have been an enjoyable lunch was overshadowed by careless treatment.

Ended up for a late afternoon lunch on a busy Sunday. Besides a first reservation related misunderstanding, the staff was lovely and very attentive. The food was overall good although a little overpriced. I enjoyed especially the octopus chorizo screwers, nice and spicy, and the fluffy focaccia! Atmosphere in the indoor area was pleasant too. Will probably go back to try some more of their meals options.

We visited for a wednesday lunch which wasn’t in rush hours. The ambiance was nice and chill. Both our entrees tuna and beef tartare were ok but missing a little wow factor to it. However our mains were absolutely delicious and were packed with complex flavor profiles. Side dishes were well prepared as well. They don’t have a mocktail list but instead all the cocktails can be done without alcohol for non-alcoholic guests We didn’t drink much and our bill was around 200/person. So if you’re drinking, expect your spending around 250+/ person
Trà T — Google review
Good quality ingredients but boring recipes. Kumquat jam is overpowering and masked the taste of tuna. Octopus was a bit dry and overcooked. Salted duck egg shaving was tasteless…The Asian influence on the food wasn’t really working🙈 Service was also not welcoming. Maybe it’ll be better if you’re rich white baby boomer ordering French wine🫤

A beautiful restaurant with a stunning interior! We ordered the duck, since it was recommend to us. It was lovely but not quite as live changing as we had expected it to be. The recommend red house wine on the other hand was one of the bests we ever had!

Glen Eira Sports and Aquatic Centre (GESAC) in Bentleigh East offers a wide range of aquatic facilities, including a 50-meter outdoor pool, a 25-meter indoor pool, and a wellness-focused pool. The center is known for its popular water slides like the Rapid Rush and Out of the Blue slide. Families with young children can enjoy the Pirate's Cove Leisure Pool with water cannons and smaller slides.
My kid loves to go here for playing as well as for swimming lessons. Pools and lessons suitable for all ages available here. It has a big parking, but on a busy evening it’s hard to find parking.

The swimming pool is spacious, clean, and very well maintained, making it a great place to relax and enjoy a swim. The water quality is excellent, and the surrounding area feels safe and comfortable. There are plenty of seating areas to rest, and the atmosphere is pleasant. The only small downside is that it can get a little crowded during peak times, which makes it less relaxing. Overall, it’s a fantastic pool to spend time at and definitely worth visiting. ⭐⭐⭐⭐

A large indoor swimming centre with a main pool and then there is the Wellness Pool which is incredibly hot, 34C. I'm glad the class was only 1/2 hour as I don't think I could handle being in that pool any longer! The teachers were great, didn't have the best toddler bedside manner but they were ok, quite friendly. Changing facilities, always pretty ordinary, stock standard for a aquatic and leisure centre. Let's hope the next swim class is better as we didn't have the regular teacher who was meant to teach it.

Terrible gym, besides the high price, no parking and very average equipment. They are crazy about their now bag rule. Walk in 2 seconds in, put bag down at stretching area and am immediately asked do you need a locker for you bag (rudely) I’m like once I stretch n take my towel out I’ll put it in locker. Canceling my membership after this session, plenty of nice friendlier cheaper better equipped gyms in the area!

I’ve been using the Wellness pool, Spa and Steam room for last few months. The wellness pool is large, pretty clean but the Spa is not clean. We can see sand/dirt at the bottom of the Spa. The water often dirty. I did show a staff but see no improvement. The steam room is a good size but people keep pouring water into the sensor to have much more steam. It’s not good for our health, I reported to the reception suggested to provide a sign next to the sensor to stop people doing it. Still seeing nothing until now. The locker system is not working properly, break down very often, reported to staff for many times, still no improvement.

Does anyone remember the last time their water systems(kids area) were running the way they should for 2 consecutive weeks ? Never saw that happening from past 3 years atleast. I don’t think pricing is an issue here before you start blaming on that. You couldn’t care less due to your monopolistic position in the area. It’s harsh but true. Try and deliver the quality, for the pricing you are on. Complacency has kicked many out of business, you won’t be the first. Thanks

Gesac is one of the places that I have been to my whole life. I have always enjoyed how there is always a spot for everyone. The deep indoor pool for older kids and adults. Pirates cove is always a favorite amongst the kids. The little kids pool that is also very good adults. All these things make gesac the place to be for local swimming.

Wifey said “Let’s go for a drive after we had lunch in Bentleigh. “ It was a sunny Saturday and I gave her directions to my spiritual home for Green Time - Halley Park. I first came acquainted with Halley Park when Huge waves of nostalgia oozed through me as sentimental memories returned. Practicing Tai Chi in bare feet on the grass in 2012. The sound of the birds singing Families laughing enjoying the Children’s Playground Parties in the Rotunda Area that were booked through The City Of Glen Eira The magical smell of the Flower Gardens near Jasper Road. Locals walking their dogs The time I found a pram in Halley Park – it reminded me of The Squid Game when dating People exercising their dogs. In the apartment I lived I couldn’t have a pet such as Cat or a Dog. It wouldn’t have been fair on them. Incidentally Dog Hour is around 4 pm at most public parks. Halley Park became really important to me during Melbourne Lockdowns once people could have a picnic for 2 people. I would have a BBQ breakfast near the Rotunda meeting the local joggers and people walking their dog connecting with other humans for a few moments socializing and learning what was important in their lives. It made life more bearable. There are public toilets, public barbeques and shelter from the elements down there. Plenty of parking on the surrounding streets with some shade provided by trees. There’s a number of Rubbish Bins. Wifey and myself spent 90 minutes there reminiscing on a seat enjoying the tree smells and observing other people enjoying the great facilities that are available at Halley Park. We munched on Roast Almond Chocolate, photographed some birds in the trees and remembered one of our first dates there about four years ago. I was the person wearing very colorful tops writing in the park in the Rotunda Area a few years ago . I met lots of locals when I lived in Moorabbin. This one is for letting you know I’m still alive even if you haven’t seen me for a while. It was great to revisit Halley Park last weekend and know the memories just keep getting better with new people in the community making their own special memories of Halley Park. Sometimes, it’s nice to return to those Happy Places for a short while.

This would have to be one of the most visually beautiful parks in Melbourne. Always very clean and bbqs always clean too and ready for use. Lots of bins to put your rubbish in and taps and water bowls for doggies. Great big playground for kids, dog friendly, great for a nice relaxing atmosphere. The park almost has a relaxing, healing energy about it. Would highly recommend this park to families couples, and doggies. It's a huge park, with many sections if u want quiet, meditation or relaxing time to yourself.

There is a carpark located near the oval at the back of the Bowls Club, which can be accessed from Centre Rd, as well as free street parking around the perimeter of the reserve (some parking restrictions along sections of some streets apply so best to be vigilant when parking). Nice place to go and walk your dog and let your children play at the playground. The playground is on the outer area of a large open space that is a dog off leash zone (playground and nearby path is dog on leash). A foot path circles the open space area for those wishing to get their step count up. There are a couple of public toilets and a basketball court for those brave enough to attempt 3 pointers in public. The area is lit during week nights only.

Such a great park with so much to do for the little ones. Plenty of swings, two play areas, a flying fox & shaded areas with BBQs. Just has everything you need. Well designed. It is well kept and clean. You will not be disappointed taking your kids there.

Really good playground. Has bathrooms and facilities are clean

A beautiful playground and park located on Kangaroo Road. Fun to walk around, with lots of shade, beautiful landscaping and finished tan track. Multiple bbq facilities with undercover shelters and seating. Always clean. New automatic toilet block is a great addition. Clean and accessible. Dry river garden beds and wonderful landscaping to explore. For the kids there is lots of play equipment. Swings for all abilities and ages, a flying fox, slides, roundabout, climbing equipment and more.
Kaz B — Google review
Really lovely park with a great playground Also has large ovals to kick a footy. Has toilets and lots of seating. Good place for mums to catch up together. You can have a BBQ there. Coffee shop a short distance away. My grandsons love it here.

A gorgeous little nature themed play space. Multiple small climbing structures with slides, flying fox, spinning cup, see-saw, and swings. Large round rope climbing structure. Nature based play with little tracks and a cubby in the bushes. Toilets on site and parking is along the street. The street facing side is fenced with a couple of openings. Covered BBQ space with benches. Sports oval next door. Lack of shade over the playground
Akini T — Google review
A great playground! Suitable for kids of all ages. Has a flying fox zip line as well. Lots of benches for adults, sheltered and open air. There’s even a clean automated toilet which plays music. Lol.

We love this playground. It’s neatly design. Shades sitting area, a lot of greenery, there’s large park great for a jog or just to run around and there’s small slides for smaller babies. For more playground & park pictures & reviews please head to my instagram @winalestari

Last night, I had the pleasure of dining at Bentleigh RSL with my family, and it was a delightful experience. The venue exuded warmth and cleanliness, beautifully adorned in festive Christmas decorations. We participated in their enticing $1 raffle while enjoying a relatively quiet atmosphere, as the place was only about 30% full. I opted for the Wednesday special featuring a pot and Parma for just $25.
What a wonderful venue. Large bistro, sports bar, pokies, and all new and clean. A great place to take the whole family for a meal and support the RSL. Wednesday night is Parma night, and is only $25 with schooner or $22.50 for members.
Elizabeth F — Google review
Bentleigh RSL seems to be surviving off pokies profits. The main dining area was only 1/3 full on Saturday evening. The atmosphere was dull. Meals are overpriced relative to the eating experience, which is sub-par. Steak is pricey if you consider what you get- see photo. For a venue that used to be humming, there's so much wasted potential!
Donna M — Google review
The food has progressively deteriorated over the last few years. Took a break for a few months but reluctantly came back for bday of my elderly dad. I just ordered bruschetta because my last 2 attempts at dinner here have been pretty horrid. Bruschetta was awful. Bruschetta!!! How can you stuff it up?! Quite easily as it seems. Chicken parmas were dry. My son said it didn't sit right afterwards. To be honest, I won't be coming back.

The customer service was exceptional from all staff. Bec was an absolute marvel, nothing was too small for her and she made my visit on my birthday one to remember. Thank you. She deserves a pay rise.

Last night, I had the chance to dine at the Bentleigh RSL with a large family group. The establishment was inviting, clean, and festively decorated with a Christmas theme. We took part in the $1 raffle, an attractive offer, and purchased some tickets. It was a relatively quiet evening with the venue at about 30% capacity. We decided on the Wednesday special, which included a $25 pot and Parma. Unfortunately, our order was split; half arrived promptly, while the other half was delayed and only brought to our table after a 30-minute wait and a follow-up inquiry. Despite the wait, the meal itself was satisfying with good portions, delivering value for money. Taking into account the entire experience, I would rate the venue 4 stars.

I know some reviews for Bentleigh RSL haven’t been the best, but our experience was really positive. The service we received was great, staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome. The meals were generous and well priced, and the atmosphere was relaxed and enjoyable. We had a great time and wouldn’t hesitate to come back again.

Waited 40 minutes, $29 for small portion of calamari in the photo. Highway robbery by this establishment.do not go here.

Humble, an honor each time I step inside and it’s wonderful to have the traditional minute silence at 18:00 to Remember Them. Time stands still and every person switches off devices and pays respect. Meals are fast to you but great size, variety and delicious. So many happy feels here!

Cafe
Nestled in the vibrant heart of Bentleigh, The Merchants Guild is a trendy café that perfectly blends industrial-chic decor with a welcoming atmosphere. This delightful spot offers an enticing menu featuring quality coffee and unique dishes, including standout salads and Middle Eastern breakfasts that are sure to impress. While the outdoor seating is pet-friendly—complete with water bowls for furry friends—the café's interior could use some improvement regarding internet connectivity.
Lovely cafe with great customer service and food. The coffee was on point (long black! You can’t hide from it) and food was lovely presented and yummy! Thanks for having me. I really enjoyed my brunch! Bonus point: having a decent proper knife that actually cuts through the food/bread properly! Great work team, thank you!!!
Camila B — Google review
Been here a few times. Absolutely love their salad, must say the coffee is equally good. Sourdough needs some work on the texture and black pepper is not crushed, but powdered too fine, doesn’t add the flavour to the yummy Avocado. The cafe needs good salt and pepper condiments. Its a bummer that the Internet doesn’t work inside, hope that is a good reason to always take a friend 😍
Vishali M — Google review
We had a fabulous lunch here. I had the middle Eastern breakfast and it was utterly delicious. Every element worked beautifully and it’s just the right size. My partner loved her salmon salad thingy too. The coffee was superb too. Rich and satisfying with lovely length. Service throughout was excellent too. This is a very fine cafe

Excellent food and service. Toilet reasonably clean but could be better. Well in case you need to sit there for long time then you have to think twice (wooden chairs) 😕.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Clean and well-organised café located in the heart of Bentleigh's suburban strip. Relaxed, welcoming vibe with a great range of quality products, excellent coffee, and genuinely friendly service. The outdoor seating is pet-friendly — they even brought out a water bowl for my friend and soulmate because he was thirsty. Highly recommended!

We had brunch at merchants guild last week, we ordered 2 chai lattes one arrived room temp while the other arrived hot, so we sent the luke warm one back and asked them to heat the milk, what they brought us back was a watered down version with hardly any chai or flavouring. I ordered the Turkish eggs which was nice, the lubnar was just yoghurt nothing special no flavouring to it, mum had the merchants avo with salmon, she barley ate it as it also had no seasoning or taste, even the lemon that was provided was buried in the hommus and under the prickle so ended up all over mums hands as she tried to add some flavour to it. Overall cute concept better execution and attention to detail is required.

Amazing brunch visit everytime. Best in the area. Lot of vegetarian options in the menu. Love their hot cakes and coffee is mind blowing.

Probably one of the best places for the options of higher protein breakfasts for fit folk like me and my partner. Food is seasoned impeccably and plating and portion sizes were perfect. A great value and quality place to grab a bite, we drive over half an hour and will gladly continue to do so. Definitely recommend a visit!

Humble Creatures is a popular eatery located in the suburban area of Bentleigh East, offering a delightful blend of Australian and international flavors. The cafe boasts a lovely decor and is known for its delicious food, with options like eggs Benedict, mushroom melody, O.G burger, and fritters receiving high praise. Visitors appreciate the friendly service and contemporary vibe of the place. Despite being slightly off the beaten path, it's definitely worth a visit for those seeking great food in a welcoming atmosphere.
Neighbourhood cafe with great food. Burger is messy but good, and the chili scramble was the best I've had anywhere – fresh egg taste and spicy without being overpowering.

Great food. Offered wide range of customization if or by phone. Relatively simple menu but made and presented fantastically. (Bench top gets sticky, maybe need a better bench top degreaser / sanitizer)

Great suburban hub, and an ideal stop for a break on a day spent at the nearby Moorabbin Hospital. Friendly warm service, delicious and well executed Symmetry coffee, a decadently enjoyable breakfast bacon and egg burger, and finished with a ripping chocolate milkshake chaser!! The local area flock here, people of all types. Because they know how good their local is and how lucky they are to have it. Will definitely be back.

Such a great find. Really lovely staff, great menu, had an Asian twist with the variety of options and very busy. Highly recommend going and we had the bacon and egg roll, poached eggs on toast, chilli eggs and cereal. Very good coffee too.

This was my first time here. I had lunch with my family, and the food was amazing and great value for money. The service was friendly and fast, and the coffee was perfect. We really enjoyed our time here and will definitely come back again!

The culinary offerings are exceptionally delectable, complemented by remarkably amiable service. The interior design exhibits a distinctive aesthetic. The management team operates the establishment with meticulous attention to detail. This venue undoubtedly merits a visit.

My partner had a Korean cheese steak from this location during his work break. He found it extremely oily, and mentioned that something about the cheese tasted off. A few hours later, he began experiencing severe nausea, stomach pain, and vomiting clear symptoms of food poisoning. This was the only food he had consumed that day, so we are confident it was caused by this meal. This is quite concerning, and I hope no one else has a similar experience. I wanted to raise awareness in case there is a broader issue that needs to be addressed.

Humble Creatures is such a beautiful café — the atmosphere is calm, cozy, and filled with natural light. The coffee is consistently excellent, and the menu has a great mix. The chef Himalaya is absolutely amazing — you can really taste the care and passion in every dish.

Cafe
Daniel Son Murrumbeena is a popular restaurant located near Glen Eira Road and Hotham Street. It offers a diverse menu featuring Australian and international dishes with an emphasis on quality ingredients and innovative flavors. The cafe has a lovely rustic feel with clean, dated interiors and plenty of outdoor seating. Customers praise the fresh, well-cooked food, excellent portion sizes, and friendly staff. The cafe also serves strong earthy coffee blends that are highly recommended by visitors.
Our visit to this cafe was amazing! The service here is so friendly and efficient. The best part is, they have an all day menu!! With lots of indoor and out door seating- we were spoiled for choice. Super conveniently located next to a train station too. The hot chips here are amazing!! We also loved sharing the charcuterie board and arancini bolognese balls. The sticky date pudding was not what we expected, it was more of a muffin, but honestly was better than a pudding!! Would highly recommend. Lots of drink options too! Will be back.

My friends and I were well satisfied after brunch at Daniel Son. The food was great: the chilli scramble has a good amount of spice, the pancakes are fluffy and come with a delicious chai-flavoured condensed milk dressing, the breakfast burgers are well stacked. The service was a little slow, but it was just one guy taking all the orders so it's understandable and we weren't in a rush.

I had gone to Daniel Son this morning after a quick check up at the dentist along with my father, the cosy café is close and convenient for a small break! After a short walk, we had ordered their ham and cheese sandwich with tomato, coffee and a hot chocolate. Our food was ready within minutes of ordering and we helped ourselves with the delicious food. Staff were warm and friendly as well. 100% would recommend!

tried the crispy barramundi and lamb shank, both were great! but the lamb was definitely my fave. super tender and full of flavour 👍🏻 also loved the choc brownie (melty inside!) and the thick Italian-style hot choc. cozy vibe, friendly service, and it’s right next to Murrumbeena station. would come back for sure!

We got dinner here tonight. The food was great and the staff were very friendly :) Really liked the chicken wings and the burger in particular. Plus the hot jam donut!

Craving pub food without the chaos? This hidden gem in Murrumbeena nails that cosy, chilled vibe. Killer wings, juicy parma, steak sanga stacked to perfection — all washed down with a cold beer. Feels like a Friday night done right.
