Great! Lots of off- leash dogs areas, although unclear signage about this. Nice pond ( at last) and bbq areas. Some planting finally done to create a more natural, living space. The only cafe is part of the historic homestead, which is within the park. This wonderful Cafe only opens Sunday afternoon. No other cafes at Ballam Park. They should put some in, the council would make a fortune. Avoid the screaming kids play areas and bbqs areas along Cranbourne Rd. Unless you have kids, of course!

I just stop by for the coffee, great coffee! ❤️, but because kids play their it probably attracts predators, like child care does, they seem to be everywhere. Simple solution, govt to provide a free smart watch, location, video, audio, weather, health updates for free to every vulnerable person. Why don't aloud child protection agencies think of these things???

The biggest and best park for miles around, perfect for picnics and parties, or jump coming for a climb, play, ride, swing or parkour. There is even a basketball court and a new water play and sensory area. Well maintained toilets available.

What a fantastic park! My kids loved it all! So much of a variety for all ages! Bbqs, toilets! Bring spare clothes theres also a water play section! Definitely will be back!

Beautiful sculpture park showcasing pieces in many different styles. Metalwork and industrial elements feature heavily, as do pieces designed to reflect light and the surroundings. Complete with Harry's Cafe and a gift shop, McClelland Sculpture Park is a great place to spend a morning or afternoon. I will definitely be returning.

Enjoyed our visit with friends to McClelland Sculpture Park. Some very interesting works of various sizes well positioned around the main building, pond and treelined walkways. Paths well maintained and would suit all fitness levels. Dogs on lead allowed throughout plus outdoor and under cover patio dining at Harry's Cafe. Adequate free parking on site. Allow 2 hours to comfortably amble, chat and appreciate.

🌿 Set amongst sixteen hectares of natural Australian bushland, this is a lovely and peaceful spot to explore. 🖼️ Some really charming and beautiful sculptures and some rather strange ones too which are fun to puzzle out. 🦆 While exploring the artwork keep your eyes open for the charming native wildlife which call the park home.

For a wonderful short day trip and a chance to reconnect with nature, this sculpture park and gallery is a must-visit. We were warmly welcomed by Harry's friendly staff (definitely book ahead on weekends or school holidays!). The caffe offered an impressive range of breakfast and lunch choices – and a bonus, if you dine there, your park entry is waived. Exploring the park was a truly immersive experience, discovering modern sculptures subtly integrated into the natural landscape. Armed with a map, we spent a good two hours wandering and soaking it all in. It was the perfect way to shake off the week's stresses. Absolutely recommend!

Lovely sculpture park to visit during the week days. Just don't like the attitude of the lady in the gift shop area, instantly tells my kids to shhh or be gentle and they havnt even stepped fully into the gift shop yet. Don't encourage kids to come n sit n colour if you don't want to listen to them giggle laugh or talk for god sake so not kid friendly yet has soo many kid events on. Maybe hire staff that have children or likes kids?

Great place for a walk. Plenty of interesting sculptures to discover as you make your way around. Cafe is too pricey though.

McClelland Sculpture Gallery offers a peaceful, earthy, and natural vibe. The big park with a lake in the middle is perfect for a relaxing walk, surrounded by beautiful trees. The café is known for its popular and tasty lemonade scones, though they are a bit pricey. The coffee was amazing, and the staff were very organized. It’s an excellent spot for family outings. A bonus: if you live nearby, you can get free entry by providing your postcode. Highly recommend!

Avoid! Avoid ! Avoid ! I have been a "full" member for four months. However not at one minute of the four months have they been able to provide "full access". However the "FULL" premium membership price has been. Not at one point in the entire time have all the lockers been accessible, meaning everyone has bags all over the place making it a hot spot for thefts. Poor quality, with faulty equipment venue wide. From gym equipment that is consistently offline. The entry gates both to the centre a faulty have have been the whole time. The entry to the gym has been broken no less than the last 6-8 weeks with the exit gate wide open. Change rooms have been closed for 16+ weeks, no warm water access, so no hot showers - ongoing, pool access - now in its 6th week with a further 4 weeks! However no discount on the "full rate"! Poor management, Frankston Council needs to review this breach of contract! Avoid! Cant recommend highly enough to find another quality establishment

I recently joined Parc, and I’ve been thoroughly impressed with the wide variety of facilities they offer. The swimming pool is spacious, clean, and perfect for both casual swimmers and serious training. What really sets this gym apart is its range of amenities: the sauna and jacuzzi are fantastic for relaxation after a workout, providing a complete wellness experience. The gym equipment is state-of-the-art, with everything you need for strength training, cardio, and functional workouts. The modern cycling area is well-equipped, and the instructors are motivating and knowledgeable. I’ve also attended a few Pilates and group classes, which are excellent for varying your routine. The instructors bring great energy, and the classes cater to all levels. The entire space is always clean, well-maintained, and has a professional atmosphere. If you’re looking for a gym that provides everything from fitness to recovery, this is a great option. Highly recommended!

As a part of my Sperm Donation Australia Tour, Melbourne Leg edition, I came all the way down to Frankston to watch the little one do swimming listening from one of my recipients. I was amazed of the venue and the quality of the teaching if he turns into Ian Thorpe, I have this place to thank.

Lifeguards walking past and ignoring a mother feeding her child in the pool. Staff not helping an elderly lady get out of a water slide raft, so patrons had to help her. Staff member at Cafe couldn't be bothered to give customers their full attention as gossiping to the two other staff members was more important. Otherwise the pools, water playground and slides were nice.

1st time taking my Grandbaby (14 months old) swimming on my own. I was nervous. It was fantastic, staff are so helpful and friendly. The pools are spacious and very baby/ child friendly and clean. Great spacious changing rooms. Can't wait to go again!

I visited PARC with MLO and we had a great time overall. The lane pools were closed, but the slides were open and running, and the water play playground and small pool were also open. The water was a comfortable temperature, and the slides were fantastic! Unfortunately, the change rooms really let the experience down. It was freezing, there was urine on the floor, and the smell was terrible. It felt very unhygienic, especially trying to get changed with a child. It definitely tarnished the visit. Apart from that, the swimming itself was great and we enjoyed the facilities. I’d recommend the centre, but the change room temperature and cleanliness need serious improvement.

They have to be kidding, school holidays and they close the big pool, then 20 mins after we arrive they close the kids pool for swimming lessons. Will be asking for a refund.

Beautifully park filled with natives and all the wattles are in bloom, such a variety too 😍 Always a joy to visit no matter what time of year. Great kids playground and nice pond. Pets not welcome.

If you are in Frankston Hospital abd need a break, just a short stroll from the hospital main entrance you’ll find the George Pentland Botanic Gardens. Tranquil Beautiful Garden with lovely walks, fantastic bird life, even heard a kookaburra, and gorgeous trees and fauna. There’s a lovely pond abd it’s just a great place to take a breath.

So many toilets, so many ducks, plenty of ducks in duck pond and surrounding area. I love ducks and I needed to poo real bad, both were catered for. Birthdays and party's are welcome. Please help me.

Great gardens bringing some peace to inner Frankston. At the Foot Street end there are picnic tables and BBQ available. There is a big adventure playground with some unusual equipment like a log swing. Further in is the duck pond. There are lots of walking paths and lots of grass spaces to just sit and chill. There are accessible gender free toilets.

Amazing new play area at the gardens. Perfect for kids of all ages but mostly under 10. Accessibility features include a barrier free wizzy dizzy, nest swing , paths and accessible bathrooms ( mlak key) great nature based play for all.

It's okay. A mid-sized park with some parking available (I'd suggest Williams Street). There are trails, a small man-made pond, amenities, a BBQ/picnic area and a playground. There are a couple of interesting pockets, carvings and so on, which is good if you're having a wander, but It's not a place where you could walk for hours. Of course the gorgeous Frankston foreshore is only a couple of KM away (I waked through Beauty Park from these gardens to get to the trails along the beach, which was an easy enough walk) so you could easily lobby a visit to the GP Botanic Gardens into a larger exploration of the area.

Just loved it. Toilets. BBQs, play equipment, wetlands, cleared areas for playing, so much information for the botanist, naturalist, indigenous, historian or even the romantic or cacher in you! What's there to not love. Wish I knew about it earlier! From gorgeous front gate to ancient fossils and mushrooms or frogs... Go take the day and play. Highly recommended. Good clean facilities.

Corn fritters were okay even though they were deep fried balls instead of flat fritters. The sweet chilli sauce was poured over the fritters before being served instead of in a dish so you don't have the option to not add it if you find that you are not keen on it. The poached eggs tasted a lot of vinegar and the toast was the size of half a piece of normal toast. The iced coffee was very small for $8.50

A true gem! This cozy cafe has the perfect vibe for a relaxed morning. The coffee is top-notch—rich, smooth, and expertly made—and the food is just as impressive. You can tell everything is made with care. Can't wait to go back!

The staff are very friendly, and all the food was great. As a Korean, I really enjoyed the kimchi sandwich. The only downside was the matcha latte—it had a hint of ginger(?) in it. 🥲 I was expecting original matcha, but it wasn’t, so I couldn’t finish it.

I find this to be my happy place. Coming here at the end of the working week with my partner, sister or mother is what I always look forward to the most. The staff are so friendly and it’s always comforting to know I’ll be greeted by them every time I visit. They really have set a standard for a cafe that no other place has managed to uphold for me. I needed to find a cafe close to the railway station - tick. I have several food 'issues' so checked out the menu online before deciding whether to go there - tick. I'm so glad I did :) The menu has many gluten free, vegan and vegetarian options. The staff are welcoming, genuine, attentive, and clearly enjoy working there. The seating is comfortable, the decor a little quirky and clearly chosen and created with care. The coffee and food were delicious. I look forward to my next visit :)

I remembered this place was good but I forgot HOW good 😊 The menu is full of delicious things with balanced tastes. Lovely service too. Might be hot on a hot day.

We were looking forward to our favourite, slow-cooked prime rib steaks for dinner, like what we were served at Hogsbreath Knox before the COVID lockdowns, but unfortunately we were deeply disappointed. Upon arrival, we were told that there would be a 10-15 minute wait time for a table. This was perfectly reasonable, and we were seated within that time. However, when we sat down we found that the table was sticky and the seats were hard. We asked for the table to be cleaned, and the staff happily obliged, but even after they wiped it again, they left parts of the table still dirty. We went to order the signature 18 hr slow cooked prime rib, but were told that none was available. It would have been better if they mentioned this before we took the time to wait for a table. Instead, we then ordered 2 rump steaks and a pork-out plate. The staff also said they would bring us water. They forgot to bring us the water, but after 5-10 minutes came back to tell us that the pork was unavailable. Why couldn't they have told us which items were available before we ordered? We ordered a sirloin steak instead. After a while, sitting on the hard seats, we asked to change table to one of the booths with cushions. The staff happily obliged, but once we moved we found the seats weren't much better and this table, and the seats with it, were also dirty. Once the food arrived, we found that 1. The serving of sides was smaller than it used to be at Hogs, 2. The rump and sirloin steaks looked the exact same, and 3. The two rump steaks were supposed to be medium well, and the sirloin medium rare, but one of the rump steaks looked as rare as the so-called 'sirloin'. The staff member who didn't bring us water said that she would bring cutlery now. We think she forgot again, because she never brought it. We eventually asked a different member of staff for water and cutlery, and she apologised and got both for us. We also asked for the 'medium well' steak (the one that looks rare in the photos) to be cooked more. Once it came back, we found it was now over cooked, as shown in the photos that look 'well done' and quite burnt. Finally, at payment they overcharged us, to my shock. When I told them that I didn't think the price was right for 2 rump steaks and 1 sirloin steak, they showed me a receipt for 3 rump steaks and a pork-out plate. Just as well that I checked what they were charging me for, so it could be corrected! Overall, the staff members were polite, but otherwise, the service was poor with items forgotten and an incorrect order, the food was either unavailable or not cooked well, the tables were dirty and the seats were uncomfortable. Just to top it off, despite us being lifetime members, Hogs no longer honours the 20% loyalty discount. All of these little disappointments put together mean that this may be our last visit to Hogsbreath. This is not the hogspitality that we used to know, nor the tasty steaks that we used to boast about to friends.

If I could give a zero I would. To say disappointment is such an understatement. My wife and I went here for our anniversary dinner before the movies. I will stop here and say we didn’t eat. When my first steak was brought out I had a quick taste and believe the meat was rancid. My wife’s wasn’t rancid but had a strange taste as well. I returned my steak and when I got my replacement steak it too had a rancid flavour. I thought well at least I might just try to eat the fries. But after eating just a few I noticed a large black hair. ( I am bald and my wife has blond hair). Instant turn off. I took the plates up and let the staff know I would not be paying for the meals. I paid for my coke and wife’s beer and we left. Utter waste of time and money. This place has gone so far backwards it isn’t funny. It has been over 12 years since we were here last. So from then to now they have lost their way. I have also attached a picture of the plate with the hair. Final point I also ordered macaroni and cheese. I don’t know exactly what it was on my plate. But the square thing on the bottom left is it. **Update- Hogs reached out to me and they tried to tell me that I should have complimented the staff. I don’t know what for they didn’t do anything other than I would expect from any other food establishment that gave me rancid meat and then more with a side of human hair.*** I would not recommend this establishment

The food is good and the service is excellent. The atmosphere is very much like a diner you would find in America but that's not a bad thing. The meals are a good size but can be very filling and your choice is plentiful as well.

Have been multiple times and have been very unimpressed and unsatisfied without fail everytime this restaurants only saving grace is its friendly staff and interior design and layout the worst part is it is not cheap by any means Edit: went to leave a 2 star review saying food was ok, overpriced and staff were friendly, to my surprised I found a review from me 6 years ago stating the same thing. At this least they’re consistently mediocre 😂 Ps what a terrible $27 salad, didn’t even have dressing

Loved the prime rib (cut like a steak)! Make sure to have the backend seasoning, which makes the meat taste just a bit like it's burnt, which I love so much, and is very soft. Prices are decent for the steak. Caesar salad is meh, and does not come with anchovies even. Their curly fries are considered by them to be a speciality, but I do not like them. They are never crunchy and don't taste right to me. Service is ok, facilities are ok.

Went there for dinner with fam and we all enjoyed our meals. Not forgetting friendly staff with good sense of humor. Keep it up!

This is the best pizza shop around, there pizza are amazing, tasty really good, not greasy, lots of topping. There also trying a new pizza, orange and nuttella, omg so juice and taste amazing, if you love oranges and chocolate come and try this new pizza. Not only does it taste yum it also gluten free, celiac heaven, don't take my workforce it come down to Footies pizza shop in Foot Street Frankston and see for your self.

Okay so I've had mixed experiences with Footsie's over the years now, however I believe I've mastered the recipe on how to have a good experience. 1. Forget about takeaway or delivery. If you want a hot and fresh pizza, put some clothes on and get into the shop. 2. Order early before they hit their peak rush period to avoid sloppy topping and poor quality product. 3. Have patience and understanding for the staff, they work very hard and when they're on their game the pizza is incredible. Keep up the great work.

This is my absolute favorite take away pizza! Quality ingredients, perfect fluffy pizza base, lots of variety and so tasty. So glad I found this place. Yum!!!

TLDR version - massive pizzas, generous toppings, quick delivery. Order early on busy nights as they can run out of bases. Ray and the team are 100% top notch and know how to make outstanding pizzas. These are less pizza and more topping volcanos that will satisfy any crowd. If you prefer less topping, ask for 1/2 and you will still get a very generous pizza. They are always perfectly cooked and an awesome combo of crispy yet chewy crust. Be warned the more loaded the pizza the more likely the base will give out after a while so lift with care!! Order ahead to avoid disappointment and aim for pick up as well as it gets super busy. The pastas are lovely but the pizzas are the MVPs here! It’s not really a dine in place - there are a couple of tables but aim to have this as takeaway or home delivery.

ordered on menulog and it said it had been delivered but i received nothing, i called and they said it’s still in the oven an hour and a half later. I ordered two small pizzas and a garlic bread and waited over an hour and a half for it.

First time customers. We didn't really know what to expect but we thought we'd give Stacks a go for breakfast. We personally did not enjoy our food but it is great for kids and I know many people would enjoy the huge American style serves. Personal experience: I ordered bacon and pancakes which comes with whipped butter and maple syrup - requesting crispy bacon, a latte with sugar and an orange juice. On arrival the bacon had some crispy/burnt bits but mostly undercooked where the fat hadn't even begun to render, it was thick cut, very generous in quantity. It came with 2 buttermilk pancakes which were large and thick, fluffy but heavy. A very small amount of maple syrup (but we were brought a bottle for the table on request). Coffee was large but tasted like watered down milk, had no sugar but I didn't want to drink it anyway so didn't ask again for the sugar. Juice was terrible, long life fruit drink style you get on the supermarket shelf. Very reasonably priced and quick service but it's not for me.

Fast service, excellent staff. The pancakes taste a little like baking powder, but they are very fluffy. I'd come back if I were in the area and craving pancakes. Music was low enough to have a conversation. Comfy bench seats. Nice large tables that aren't overly stacked with chairs. The layout and design is really thoughtful. Decent selection of teas. We had the banana pancake and the wall street one. Lots of bacon on mine. The bananas were settl seasoned with cinnamon.

Good pancakes, good portion sizes however the staff were very inattentive. Got sat down, menu given, then waited about 20 minutes before I had to get up to get a wait staff to tell them I wanted to order.. On the other hand, another family got sat down and their order taken within 5 minutes.. It was also probably because we were sat behind a big group but it is no excuse..

OMG!!! Deliciousness!!! The chicken strips were so crispy and tasty! And the Tom Tam Special Pancakes were drool worthy. Staff were lovely, attentive and super swift. Prices are very reasonable. Will definitely be back as soon as possible!

The pancake is fresh and fluffy however it feels like it can have more sauce (e.g. The Nutella pancakes only have Nutella on top but not in between later of Nutella). Overall it is as good as Pancake Parlour.

I took my family out for tea on Sunday 11 August. The staff were fantastic and friendly. Well done to management for employing such lovely people. Meals were delicious. Best milkshakes in Frankston. We will definitely be back on a regular basis.😀

To whoever is responsible It’s absolutely unacceptable that retail workers here are forced to pay out of pocket $25 every week just to park at this shopping centre - money we cannot claim on tax because no clear receipt is printed. We risk our safety every single day dealing with drug addicts yelling at us, watching kids steal, and seeing crack addicts shooting up in the bathrooms. And yet, we have to fork out $5 daily just to come to work? This is downright money-hungry, inconsiderate, and a slap in the face to those keeping this place running. On top of that, the centre’s management is a joke. We’re evacuated almost weekly because some careless driver backs into a fire extinguisher or the cleaning staff don’t know where to dust around the alarms. It’s a blatant lack of attention to basic safety and housekeeping. This centre is dying, and the management’s priorities couldn’t be more out of touch. Instead of sweating the small stuff, they need to fix the culture and focus on real issues. We’re fed up. Customers are noticing it too, and it’s clear the management doesn’t care. Fix it

Shop here at least 3 times a week only to find that some of the escalators are not working on EVERY occasion now for years, this shopping centre you also have to pay for parking, when you're elderly its certainly not ideal, NOT RECOMMENDED, go to Karingal shopping centre instead

Great shopping centre, parking tho, specifically in the entertainment lot near hoyts is a scam, about a hundred cars have all been charged $3 for being in the lot for less then 10 minutes because it was full on a Saturday night, and the car park closed sign was only put out once the cue to exit again was going up 2 levels. In general car park is a scam because it would be reasonable for there to be a 10 minute free period, but no once you enter your paying $1.50 weekdays and $3 on weekends. Disappointing

It's a great centre to find most things you'd be looking for.

It has become an unfriendly shopping centre. I am referring to some staff and security guards. I understand Frankston has its issues, but not all shoppers are thieves. Perhaps there is an increased security guard presence during the school holidays, but that's not a reason for security to become seemingly over zealous in their responsibilities. I have shoped there for over 30 years. I won't bother coming back. As there are plenty of alternatives. Such as Southland, Mornington, Somerville, and DFOs Moorabin. Not to mention online shopping.

How great that Bayside shopping center has changed their height on the rooftop to 2.25M. It makes it so much easier to park and with REVO right there we go daily now and can do a workout and our shopping so much more convenient! OLD review "The parking sucks!! There is nowhere for 4WDs to park without lower tyre pressure. Would be great if they could consider making the rooftop parking 2.2-2.3m. Otherwise your stuck trying to find street parking and limited to 1hr"

Unfortunately I ordered a drink and it had atleast 5 dead dirty mosquitoes in them along with other dirt which has mixed through my drink not allowing me to finish it. The cup has Obviously been dirty when they have adequate the drink. Very unfortunate as the drink was not cheap.

Had my son's 12th birthday here this evening. After looking into multiple places to go to, this was the only one I came across that you didn't have to book with a minimum of 8/10 people to have have a party. It included all 18 holes, a food and drink voucher for each kid, a visor for each kid and some freebies for the birthday boy. We had our own little area and I could bring a cake in also. Staff went out of their way to make our night really enjoyable.

The vibes here are pretty good — the lighting’s a bit dark, but I guess that’s part of the whole aesthetic. It can feel a little cramped at times, but it’s still a fun spot to hit up for a quick game before going to grab a feed. Cool place overall for something different to do in Frankston

Fun place if you're looking for an activity on your night out. Central Frankston and surrounding restaurants. Includes a bar that makes some super creative drinks - at very reasonable prices too. Staff were helpful and kind. Course was fun, good price for the game and full of gimmicks and little widgets that gave each hole a theme. Was empty when we went, but likely a much less enjoyable experience if busy. Less foot traffic than city venue.

This beach is packed with people. Incredibly crowded. The beach is probably worth visiting only once. However, there are some awesome moments at this beach, but only in the water and in the sky! Beautiful sunsets!

One of the beach that close to melbourne city, it will take around 1.5 hour from city to the last train station. The vibes and view is good. It should be a very comfortable place to spend on summer

One of the nicest beach on the south east side. Lots of people but not too much where it’s over crowded. Not a lot of sand area but the water looks amazing and lots of walking tracks for people and dogs. A restaurant and ice cream shop right there also. And close to the heart of Frankston main strip.

the water is so clear and so shallow it honestly feels like it's a scene out of a movie. and there's great places of food nearby too. however the only downside is there's no private showers, and only 2 public ones, after which you need to wait in a long line to change into dry clothes at the singular ladies toilet on the beach. it gets messy and you won't be able to completely wash yourself until you get home.

Beautiful pier, lovely spot for a stroll or jog along the walk 👣 trail. Cafe close by, amenities available. If you have children there is a playground for them, great place for dog walks - must be on a leash! Overall, lovely spot to visit. 🙂

This is the far end of the Port Phillip bay; therefore you can see Melbourne city scape from here. Clean beach, and some nice restaurants. Great place to have a stroll and I noticed some are fishing on the jetty. Feels like a town that’s not too rural and not too busy.

The Taiko Cabinet here is poorly maintained, and $3 for 2 songs is horrid, especially compared to other venues, where the value is over twice as good. The display is starting to break, and no resources are being spent putting it back to fair condition for all to enjoy. The volume is also very low, making it very hard to hear, which for a music game, is very important. For the tech at GP Frankston: P1 Right Don is not responding. This can be fixed by replacing the sensor or restarting the cabinet. The drums are overall insensitive. I suggest for the drum sensitivity to be changed to 1/2 1/2.

This is what $40 get you at this place. I'm in the food industry, and I know for a fact how much did it cost them. It's just not right to charge that much. Either make the portions bigger ( since it's called " share " plate ) or make it cheaper. I'm all with making profit and all , but that's theft, not business... And yes I complained to your manager, and there was another guy that looked like one of the owners with her, and they both just shook their head and said ok

Thank you team Frankston, especially Kylie who helped me plan my daughter’s 18th birthday party and Ryan who was our host for the night. We were a big group of 38 people, so was worried about the timing of the games and when the food would arrive, but everything went according to plan. It was such a successful night with lots of fun and food. The food was fantastic (my favourite was the coleslaw and chicken tenders with the pita bread) and allowing us to have a bit more room for our guests was very much appreciated. Thank you again for making it an awesome night to remember.

Easy to find, went Sunday dinner, easy to order from the table with QR code with fast service and kind staff. Great pricing with large portions feel like I definitely got my moneys worth for a great first experience. Bathrooms were clean with change table in them also. Lift, stairs and slide access gelato and sweet shop and lolly ship just inside the doors with seating. Plenty of photo opportunities, neon lights, heaps of arcade games I ordered a game card when I ordered our food which was a great and very helpful option. Bowling was great with an easy to use touch screen and bumpers can be turned on and off during play and for individual players. Everything was really clean and easy and good quality definitely come again.

I have been here quiet a few times and have spend a lot of money each time on bowling and arcades. the girls that work there are so disrespectful and have no manners they grunt when you talk to them and have the worst customer service i have ever seen. I thought after going back a few more times recently it would get better but it’s just gotten worse.. they cant even smile or say Hello! when being served... then u ask for a drink and then they stand behind the desk and talk to each other and dont serve you for atleast a couple of minutes! I would not recommend this place to anyone!

Customer service was terrible and not for the first time. If these people said hello and thank you and smiled they would crack there face. Also the price of a small stubby of Jack Daniels has gone up over $2, $15.18c forget it. I won't be back one to many bad experiences. Talk to your staff and wake up, there's competition out there

Fabulous place to walk the pooch when you're in Frankston. Monthly markets are held here, the Spring rolls, marvelous. The South Side Festival, we will see you again next year.

The neon light show was nice. There was not enough food trucks, there was to many don't ones and no hot chips or hotdogs for the kids

I walked through here while heading from the mid-sized botanical gardens to the very appealing Frankston foreshore, and it's not a bad space. Certainly it's been thoughtfully used. There is parking, there are amenities, a small lake adds some interest at one end, there's some exercise equipment at the other end, and there' are walking paths that basically do a circuit and cut across at a couple of spots. Quite a nice, local, green space.

I go to Beauty Park regularly to enjoy the lake, fountain, ducks, green grass and gardens. it is also close to visit the war memorial. Bbqs, undercover picnic tables and toilets. plenty of parking

Lovely park to have a picnic or BBQ. Sparse playground equipment, so ensure food is the main event if you have children. Oh and very well behaved seagulls! We ate fish and chips in total peace until the kids went up to the birds with a couple of chips on offer (I did tell them off mind you, as it's not good for the health of the birds).

Grew up on Olivers Hill. The view here is forever changing. The expanse provides really dope environment to sink into some deep thoughts. Meditation at this spot will center you for this crazy world.

Olivers Hill, Frankston. A great place to look out over the bay. Whether the day be sunny, windy, gloomy or even raining, the view will be something to see. Close by is the high hills you are standing from looking down on the rocks and vegetation or out onto the bay. Even better if there are boats out fishing. Often, I have sat up here with fish & chips or other looking out appreciating the views. The water can be beautiful to look at or if blowing a strong wind, you are reminded of the power of the water, even in the bay. It overlooks the jetty at the bottom of the hill to the right, and the lights of Frankston. And above behind you are houses high up on the hills with their own private view of the bay and any boats and ships. There is space for maybe 10 Cars, and only one way in and that’s from the main road which is steep and just past a curve, so you need to be going at a slow pace keeping an eye out for the entrance. Not always easy if you have a lot traffic behind you. I noticed on my last visit here, that the fences there are gaining a collection of padlocks too if that’s your thing. Also, there is a concrete footpath leading down to the jetty car park. You may drive in and find no car park, but as it is drive through, then you can just keeping going back out to the main road.. and instead, pull into the car/ boat park at the bottom of the hill which is also a good spot to have a look at boats coming in and out from the bay. There are no toilets on Oliver’s Hill, but there are in the parking area at the bottom of the hill, and sometimes a food van.

Nice view, it is worthwhile to stop for a while, you can see the city far away and thr nearby Frankston pier.

Some reviews say it’s a great spot because you can watch the beautiful scenery of the sunset, beach, bay, suburbs, rocks from a hill. However, not very worth walking up a long rising way to the hill just for watching the long distant horizon. Take a bus if you have leisure time to wait under the hot sun because there is only 1 bus every hour on a weekday. No problem if you have or rent a car because the traffic is smooth on Nepean Highway. The

Really need good weather, but the views here can be stunning when the skies and water are clear. It's a tricky area to get to from the road (can only access this from one way), and it can get very busy during the summer months. Not much to see here other than the views, but is great for sunsets, albeit with a noisy road nearby. A quick stop-off for most passing through.

Good scenic view of the beach from the lookout. Parking is okay. I have noticed that there is waste disposal bins in this area as lots of people coming in this place. The binocular placed over there was not clear as per my experience. There is a bench to sit down and enjoy the view with a cup 🍵. We can see the city from Oliver's hill lookout but it depends on the weather. Good place to visit one time with family.

The restaurant is really nice. The staff were super friendly. The pizzas were delicious. Prices were expensive however. If you’re paying $30 for a Prawn pizza, I would expect more than a single prawn every second slice.

We went early on a Friday night and it wasn’t too busy, which was nice. The food was good, enjoyed the flavours. The pricing was a little on the higher side.

Absolutely amazing service, food and cocktails!!!! The service was incredibly fast, food filling and tasty. Cocktail options was crazy good, absolutely delicious! Best meal out in a long time, will definitely be back!

Mixed emotions here, but overall this is an OK place. Staff is great always walking around and making you fill comfortable and paying attention to your needs. Cocktails are good but not in the great side. Food is OK but not exceptional although my wife said her paella was fantastic and much better than others she had before.

The pizzas and pastas here are delicious, and the service is wonderful! Located right next to Hoyts, it’s a super convenient spot if you need a meal before/after watching a movie :-)

I had my sons 1st birthday/baptism at Martini & Co over the weekend and I must say it was the most wonderful and memorable day and couldn't have asked for it to be any better. Milan and his team went above and beyond to accommodate with also staying open a little bit later the night before to help set everything up from tables to name cards and menus etc not only that they closed majority of the resturant for us to accommodate the large amount of guests we had invited. They made the day go so smooth and worry free and we're so helpful making sure everyone didn't go hungry or thirsty aswell as making sure that everything was perfect to their liking. The food was absolutely delicious and it has been every time we have come to the resturant I will definitely return to see milan and his team and would highly reccomended them to friends and family. I had comments from all friends and family on the day and afterwards saying it was amazing from the food, Milan and his staff and resturant saying they would come back to eat and drink. So a massive thanks to you Milan and your team for an amazing time you have definitely hit the ball out of the park. 😀

We did the Bottomless brunch and we had such a great time!!!! Drinks were flowing , food was great and plenty options for food and drinks to choose from :) staff was so patient and very attentive to us. Considering there were 11 of us, they definitely lived up to the " bottomless " name haha. Will be back again for sure. Thank you martini and co.

After reading several positive reviews, I decided to visit The Hop Shop to try it out for myself. The drinks selection, particularly the beers, was impressive with a great variety to choose from. The drink I ordered was enjoyable and well-presented. The food menu sounded quite interesting and tempting, so I opted for a share plate to sample a range of dishes. Unfortunately, none of the items we tried stood out or left a lasting impression in terms of flavour or quality. Additionally, I found the atmosphere somewhat disappointing. At one point, the patrons at the next table allowed their dog to sit directly on the table surface, which was quite off-putting in a dining environment. While I did appreciate that security eventually intervened and asked for the dog to be removed, it affected the overall dining experience. In summary, while the drink offerings were solid, I was let down by the food and general dining atmosphere. I hope the management takes this feedback onboard to improve the experience for future guests.

Many refreshments to choose from. Bright German Pils was great. Platter to share was very good. Hop Shop is a top spot.

A fantastic hipster bar with its pickle beer on tap, the tasting board #1 ordered was great and the ginger and cider beer were also nice.

I should have left a review for The Hop Shop long ago, as it’s been one of my favourite spots over the past couple of years. Whether I’m just dropping into the bottle shop or settling in at the venue, the experience is always excellent. The beer selection is outstanding, discovering OneDrop here was a real highlight and the food platters are consistently amazing. What really makes this place stand out, though, is the staff. They’re welcoming, knowledgeable, and always create a fantastic atmosphere, whether it’s for a birthday celebration or just a relaxed midweek afternoon. Great food, great beer, and truly awesome people, The Hop Shop is a gem and definitely the best beer venue in Frankston.

I’ve been a long-time regular at The Hop Shop, so when they announced their new menu with La Tortillería, I couldn’t wait to try it! We ordered The Volcan (Smoked Brisket) and it did not disappoint! The flavours were perfectly balanced and paired perfectly with a sour on a Sunday arvo. If the rest of the menu is anything like what we had today, it’s bound to be a winner!

This was my first visit to the hop after walking walking past on several occasions, boy did it exceed my expectations. With 3-4 different seating areas, an open expansive bar area, a fantastic selection of local craft beers, I was in hops heaven. The food selection was plentiful and with qualified chefs onsite, it was delicious! The calamari was of a high standard. The drinks were a little pricey however I think that made up for the atmosphere and warming environment. Well done, a fantastic asset to Frankston.

The location is wonderful. Simply the best Frankston has to offer, in my humble opinion. A table on the balcony allows you to enjoy spectacular beach views, whilst enjoying a delicious meal. The meals were all very tasty, certainly good portion sizes. However the service is lacking. We seem to have lots of different wait staff serving our table. Meals came out erratically, this was especially annoying with the mains when it took an embarrassingly long time between the first 2 meals and the lamb roast. We would have bought more wine and coffee but were never offered a second bottle or coffees. Food though was delicious and views perfect.

Food was good, but nothing amazing to be fair. There wasn’t really a stand out dish. Ambience was wonderful, light and bright. Views of the bay. Would go again but probably just to sit on the terrace area overlooking the bay in summer to have a few cocktails. Service was great, very friendly staff.

Booked for lunch and decided to reserve an in door table unfortunately they put us right next to the door leading out onto the deck which continually open and closed with a terrible draft every time. Place was busy but not too noisy so we could still have a comfortable conversation. Great location directly on the beach with amazing views of the bay!! Meals were generous portions, fresh and tasty, staff friendly and attentive to our every need Recommend visit if your looking for a great place for a meal

We are not local so choosing where to eat is tricky, but Waves did not disappoint. The inside was spacious and warm on a very cold, wet night & the staff were friendly & attentive throughout our dining experience. Our group of four chose a variety of small plate dishes to share, & a slow cooked lamb shank. The servings were generous & delicious! We would be happy to recommend Waves.

I came here with my friends for a campus event and it was great. The food was delicious with such a big portion that we couldn’t finish. The waitresses were so kindly helpful by assuring all the orders complete and assisted us with some foils to wrap our food home. On top of that, the cashier, the cook, and all staff were inclusively friendly.

Celebrating my 56th Birthday at Waves was nothing short but spectacular. The food was delicious and large sized not to mentioned perfectly prices in today's cost of living challenges. A special thanks to the Sisters' that look like 'Natalie Portman'. Their table service was impeccable. Lovely winter beach views when the sun hit our table. We'll be back!

How disappointing, we where looking forward to a great meal. Bombay mushrooms stunk.,.they where off. Marli chicken served cold straight from the fridge. Where was the fresh food. No naan arrived. We walked out. I have to give a rating to post, don't want to give a rating.

Very disappointing. We use to love this restaurant, last night our substandard microwave meals arrived . Guys go to your old sister restaurant shavahns and get some lessons on how food is done. We definitely wont be back.

I’ve been impressed every time I’ve ordered from Kasturi, whether dining in, getting takeaway, or delivery. The food is always fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavour. Takeaway orders arrive well-packaged and on time, with the same care you’d expect in-house. Consistently excellent service and quality. Highly recommended.

I absolutely love kasturi indian it's always super fresh and has so much flavour, and it's very affordable and you get alot for how much you spend, I get the family pack and swap the Rogan Josh for lamb korma and it's a weekly thing for me and my partner and not only do we have an amazing dinner but always have left overs

My wife and I went here for a friends birthday. We had the mushrooms from the tandoor, they arrived sizzling and fragrant and were delicious. The garlic naan was plentiful and delicious. The Aloo Gobi was very tasty and we couldn't eat all the basmati rice. We had a coke each and were amazed that the cost for us was only $54! No problem splitting the bill either. The waitresses were friendly and the service was very fast. I thought that it was a great experience.

Super speedy delivery and the food was delicious as per usual. We ordered the butter chicken with chicken breast, beef korma, pappadams and cheesy garlic naan. Very generous servings.

Excellent entertainment centre. Currently undergoing a facelift of the front entrance but will look fabulous when finished. Food, alcoholic drinks, hot drinks available in the foyer opposite the box office with limited seats in waiting area. Doors and lift access open 1 hour before evening shows. Ticketed underground parking and free after 6pm street parking available. Recommended.

Saw the church at the Frankston Arts Centre. The concert hall was small but it was very intimate… which is a very good thing. I was in the dress circle was and had a very good view of stage. I would go back to the Frankston Arts Centre again!

We love working with the team at the Arts Centre. This is our second time hosting our youth event with them and it all went brilliantly. We had lots of positive comments from people who appreciated the great location, space and food. Thanks team!

The venue was still having exterior work completed but the entry was clearly posted and was easily traversed. The interior facilities were well appointed and clean, the theatre seats were comfortable and my partner and I look forward to seeing more performances at the FACentre.

What an awesome venue. I love how everything is so well organised and beautifully presented here. Indoor carpark is super convenient, especially for us performers always carrying so much stuffs. The cafe has very nice food, the online pre-ordering and pick up at break time is one the best because we don't need to line up during the short break. The dining area and rest area are fantastic with comfy couches and tables. I love it.

Frankston Arts Centre is a great venue for all events but I would like to know why you are charging a $4.50 transaction fee per booking on a child’s dance concert where families are wanting to attend their child’s concert, paying 28.00 per ticket then get slugged with an extra charge. Is this really necessary on family school concert events? Things are tough enough .

Great fun! Bought this as a gift for mum for Mother’s Day and it didn’t disappoint! We did the Kidnapped room today (mum, my sister, myself and my niece - age range 16-72) and we all had a great time. Can’t wait to go back and try a different room…one of the scary ones!! 😊

We went to Strike Frankston over the Easter weekend and it was absolutely brilliant. We had a complimentary voucher for bowling, laser tag and pizzas and then added some arcade games at the end. Molly helped us with the booking and was very accommodating, despite several changes on our end. On the day, Flynn looked after us and made the experience enjoyable and seamless. Overall, it was just a really fun day out. Our favourite part was the laser tag; we found it great to play against another party and we felt like it was a great amount of time! The pizzas & hot chips were tasty. Our daughter was stoked to win a teddy on the claw machine; it wasn't made impossible. Lastly, we were really impressed by the customer service! You can tell the staff all enjoy their jobs and take great pride in their venue too because it was very well-maintained, clean & smelled fresh! We'll definitely be back again soon. Thank you so much guys!

Our Bowling Experience was above our expectations, we booked a function group of 11. The staff were all accommodating and held a high level of customer service. Our host Montana went above and beyond for our group with great communication, time management skills and professionalism. Thank you Montana and the Strike bowling team at Frankston!

My son had his 9th birthday party at strike, although he only had a small amount of friends for his party (not the minimum number) the manager (Jess/Jett sorry I didn’t catch her name but I did go back and ask I think this is what one of staff said ) . She was so accommodating and made his birthday party an amazing experience. What true customer service ! We can’t thank the staff enough for giving him a memorable party .

Our son had his 9th birthday party at Strike today. The kids loved the laser tag. The food and drinks supplied in the party package were generous. The best part though was our host Steph. She made sure that we had everything we needed and that the party went smoothly. It is the most relaxing party we have had as the parents of the birthday child! Thanks so much.

We had my son's 11th birthday party at Strike Frankston yesterday where he and ten friends played laser tag, played the arcade machines for an hour and then sat down to eat in a reserved space. They had a brilliant time and we were incredibly impressed with the venue and how well everything was run. Most of all, we are really thankful to all staff members who went out of their way to look after us. From the initial booking phone call, to various changes we had to make, to all the staff on the day, everybody was professional, friendly and accomodating. Extra special mention to Taia who was great managing all the kids (and keep us happy!) but all the staff on the day were wonderful. It seemed to be an especially hectic day as well with multiple events all happening at once, and the staff did such a great job managing what seemed to be multiple competing needs from various groups, and everybody stayed happy! It was a really great day, absolutely recommended as a kids' party venue, and we'll all be back soon!

Bowling and arcade work well. Laser tag is a waste, half the guns don’t work and they don’t do anything to fix them. Overall very expensive and not worth it if you want to have a laser tag expirience

Well kept playground, the area is open and visible so you can easily keep an eye on your children (if you feel the need too). There are shaded areas with seating and BBQ area. Public toilet / changing facilities are less then a stone throw from the playground. Great place to stop by if the conditions are not good on Frankston beach front.

Grandchildren love playground. Fully fenced in and lots of fun things to play on. When the weather is warm we have a picnic then go down to the beach, just a few steps away

This park is great because it has so much playground equipment. It is especially fun to play on the large wooden deck with lots of equipment. I find the long mesh walkway very interesting. Also, the wooden rides are very stylish. I haven't seen them in other parks, but they are very nice playground equipment. This park has BBQ facilities, restrooms, parking lots, and benches. There is also a pathway leading to the beach. It is a very beautiful and fun park.

This used to be a great sprawling playground, with heaps of little nooks and places for kids to explore. The new structure is beautifully built, but totally lacks the character of the previous playground. Some strange design decisions too, including a rope bridge with gaps big enough for pre-schoolers to fall through, and an entire section of the playground inaccessible to anyone under the age of 5.

It was packed , bit noisy but otherwise highly recommend, Food was enjoyed by all of us , will definitely go back again.

Greeted friendly from the young man at door! ;) We had great night, delicious foods, their deep fried fish fillet with tamarind sauce is highly recommended. Definitely come back again for their other dishes! All the waitress are so warm and friendly. As local, this can be our regular visits!

I have been dining here for many years. Always the best service, friendly and fast, with attention to detail. The food is to die for, best massaman curry I’ve ever had. I highly recommend Hooked On Thai experience, you will not be disappointed..

A decent thai place around Frankston . Serving size is huge and the seafood sizzler looks more like a soup as well but it tastes delicious. Decent food and friendly staff. Tom kha is delicious, tom kha is too sour for my taste. Fried rice and Pad thai are okay. I find the menu a little expensive and reviews are bit overrated.

The gentleman at the door was welcoming, and we were impressed by the atmosphere as we walked in. The food arrived quickly, and at first, we were satisfied. We ordered the prawn spring rolls, which were decent. However, we also ordered two Pad See Ew dishes, but the waitress misheard and brought us Pad Thai instead. Rather than apologizing for the mix-up, she walked away and later returned, insisting that we had ordered Pad Thai. She then sarcastically remarked that her ears “must not be working,” rolled her eyes, and left. When she finally brought out the correct dish, she placed it on the table without a word—no apology, no “enjoy your meal,” just pure disregard. I also asked for a little bit of chili, but she overloaded the dish to the point where it was inedible and set my mouth on fire. We sent the dish back, but to our surprise, she still requested that we pay for it. Unfortunately, the food itself was average, and the service was shocking. Based on this experience, we won’t be returning.

We've been coming here as loyal weekly customers for about 7 years, and I'm sad to say this is the last time. After many instances of extremely poor service (upwards of 50 minute waits when the restaurant is less than half full) and watching customers be turned away upwards of 2 hours before closing, it's gone too far. It's deeply saddening that this is how Nando's treats loyal customers, it's not like we're strangers. Many of the people working there have becoming accustomed to our regular weekly visits, yet forget to reward this familiarity and consistent patronage with even the most basic respect, tonight leaving us out in the rain for 40 minutes before we had to come in and remind them that we were waiting for food... Only to find out food had been sitting in a takeout bag for 30 minutes, soggy and cold. Very busy in the kitchen, yet we watch our fellow customers indoors and outdoors alike patiently waiting at empty tables as Uber eats orders come in and out, no priority for the customers who've actually come all the way to dine in-store. Overall, it's been an upsetting string of mistreatment that baffles us as people who remember the age of good service, especially to loyal customers of 7 years. Frankston Nando's, be better. Or else we'll one day walk past to find it closed down and we may not even be able to wipe the smiles off our faces. Disgraceful.

She went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect, from helping us choose our meals to checking in to see if we needed anything. Her warm and friendly attitude made the visit so much more enjoyable. Thank you, Sandy, for making our dining experience unforgettable! Highly recommend this location.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Nanos Chicken, and I must say, it was an absolutely delightful experience from start to finish! The ambiance was welcoming, and the atmosphere had a cozy, family-friendly vibe that made us feel right at home. Kirra, was exceptional! She greeted us with a warm smile and made sure we were well taken care of throughout our meal. Her attentiveness and friendly demeanor really stood out, and she went above and beyond to make our visit special ✨ Now, let’s talk about the chicken—oh, my! It was simply divine! The chicken was cooked to perfection—crispy on the outside, juicy and tender on the inside, with just the right amount of seasoning. Every bite was bursting with flavor, and you could tell that great care had been taken in preparing the food. Nandos is definitely a must-visit if you're looking for amazing food and top-notch service. A huge thank you to Kirra for making our dining experience so memorable. We’ll definitely be back soon!

Went here only because the dumpling place across the road was fully booked — and what an abysmal decision that turned out to be. I hadn’t been to Nando’s in over 10 years and now I remember why. My friend’s meal came out 20 minutes before mine and was completely finished before mine even showed up. No apology, no urgency, just completely disorganised. The venue itself was full of strange characters, and the general vibe was just off. Staff were disengaged and average at best. Honestly, avoid this place — you’re better off waiting for a table at the dumpling spot or choosing any of the great venues in the surrounds. How is this place open?!

Last 2 times I've come in been told that it's at least a 25min wait. However this time I was told that they don't have chicken and that would be 40 minutes.... such poor time management and customer service at this store I will not be returning. I was waiting for my order and it was past the time so I went up to ask and my order has been sitting there for about 10 minutes I said to the girl you didn't call out my name she wouldn't even look at me and said we did multiple times I once again said you didn't call out my name - so my name is Nikkita they had written the order as Mikkita and had been calling out Makayla, I don't understand how the person who served me didn't even acknowledge the order was for me. I had to come back to the store as they did not put in my sauce, once home I come to realise my cheese and bacon burger does not have cheese. I will be taking this further as such bad reviews and no accountability

We went for lunch today and I ordered paella , I literally got hard piece of metal in my food which I bring out from my mouth when I thought something hard to chew . I am very scared what would happen if I eat that by mistake. Staff took that piece of metal from me when I told them they offered me new paella and gave me two small sauce bottles . Please be careful I can’t eat paella anymore 💔

Place is a vibe! Big central outdoor space that’s part beer garden part dive bar with upstairs area. Fish n chips were fabulous, big range of beers and legends behind the bar.

Fun vibey pub feel with fantastic quality food. Really enjoyable spot to hang out and get a great meal. We absolutely loved the steaks - great quality meat with the right amount of char, perfectly cooked to order, good sized portions and the sides were excellent - super crispy crinkle fries with chicken salt, gravy and a zingy mixed lettuce salad. Lots of variety in the options as well so there's something for everyone with special note to some really nice sounding vegetarian mains like the cheesy cauliflower. Cocktails were lovely and had a personalised twist showing some of the venues fun personality but would recommend ordering these off peak as the bar gets crowded. They have a good selection of beers and other drinks as well. Staff were friendly and upbeat. Very helpful. Location is great if you see a show at the Arts Centre and it is easy walking distance to the theatre and off-street parking. Looking forward to visiting again to try more of the menu!

A group of us came to Young Street Tavern for dinner before a show at the Frankston Arts Centre. We arrived just before 6 pm and had our food order in by 6:05 pm. To be fair, the floor staff were friendly. They comped the drinks we'd had when we had to leave, and had even offered us more free drinks while we were waiting, we declined as we just wanted our food and get to the show. The problem was we never received our food. We sat and watched at least three other tables, who arrived after us and received their meals. It honestly looked great. We had to follow up on our food at around 6:45 pm. We were told by the wait staff we would have it in 4 to 5 minutes. We still had nothing by 7:10 pm at which point we had to walk out with no good to make the show. What's confusing is the 90-minute seating policy. Surely that's meant to be enough time to have a proper entree, main, and dessert, right? Not for your food to hopefully arrive with only 10 minutes left to eat it and get out. In our case, after an hour, we got nothing at all. We just can't understand the breakdown in the order of service. I genuinely hope this is taken as a learning experience for the restaurant to review its process and improve for future customers.

Amazing local venue! Young Street Tavern is one of those rare places that gets everything right — the food is incredible (with vegie options), the live music adds such great energy, and the whole place has a warm, welcoming vibe to all the bands that play. The hospitality received as a band was next level. Even when they’re busy — and they often are, for good reason — the staff are upfront about wait times and do everything they can to make you comfortable. The owner personally checks in and goes out of his way to make sure everyone’s having a great experience, which really sets this place apart. Thank you so much to Clint, Spencer (PJ) and all the staff for a fantastic night.

So disgusting food really really bad the fish a chips was 70% batter and the chips was a joke just leftovers. Soda no gas !!! The answer about it was the tap wasn’t working properly so if it didn’t have gas so why are you selling it. I lost my money there.

Two times in a row we went in to enjoy their food. Two times in a row it was a drama to actually receive it! Fair enough you’re busy buy make sure you serve people who were there first. Not the people who got there 30 minutes after you ordered. We could easily have accepted their meal but honesty prevailed and we didn’t as it came with things we didn’t order! TWICE IN A ROW! Absolutely not good enough and I was one of your biggest advocates beforehand. Pubs of country Victoria.

Absolutely unreal! The food is amazing, just simple food made very very well. Super friendly bar tender too! If you’re a local and you haven’t been here, what the hell are you doing?! If you’re from out of town and trying to figure out where to quickly grab lunch or dinner, congratulations you’ve found it!

Was nice sitting outside under cover. Large meals. Was good that there was a ramp and disabled toilet. Staff need to more aware of when taking orders from customers if there is a group maybe talk to leader before just taking orders from elderly customers. Ice creams were delicious

Went for lunch, heard that Sofia closing. Today was like any other time we been, food, staff was 💯 perfect like other times over the years. Sad that goodness is coming to an end, the staff were really good and professional too. BIG THANK YOU

Despite the incredible atmosphere, the food was incredibly mediocre. The risotto was undercooked to a degree where the grains of rice would hurt and the toppings of the pizza would just fall off. Not to mention how cold the mussels were. The view of the beach was pleasant but overall the experience was horrible compared to the other Sofia branches. Not coming back.

The taste of the food are very exceptional and the view of the beach are also a bonus to this restaurant. However, I feel like there is a lack of communication between staff and attentiveness but overall it was a nice experience. The waitress that was serving us was accommodating.

Update 13/6/22: We ordered 2x large The Lot pizzas, and it was still just as good as when I visited two years ago. Generous toppings; very fresh, flavoursome ingredients; piping hot. I particularly enjoyed the crispy onions, olives, and hot salami. Lovely, friendly, welcome service. June 2020: Reading the reviews to this place, I was very skeptical about visiting. However, it seems they have been either subject to grave exaggeration or unrealistically high expectations. I ordered a Small "The Lot" pizza, and was very satisfied with it – served straight from the oven, with layers of well flavoured toppings. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, and the restaurant was clean and well lit. The beach surroundings were a bonus.

Nice sea side restaurant. Beautiful environment. Bit windy to sit outside. Sitting literally few cm away from the beach. Staff ok in giving service but sometimes shows some rushing attitude. Indoor nice foe family dining. Price seems different from Burwood Sofia.

This was our second time at Sofia. The first time we tried seafood so this time we decided to have something else. The pasta dishes we good. My wife said the schnitzel was excellent. I had pizza which was alright. I think part of the problem was my choice of pizza. It would probably be great for someone else. The staff was nice and helpful. They also had some nice looking desserts and an ice cream bar. The restaurant is next to the beach so it is handy for a snack during a day on the water. I would recommend dining at Sofia.

There are kids, families, couples and other people fishing, swimming and taking photos of wedding in Frankston Pier on a weekday. You can picnic on the land. There are a restaurant and an ice cream bar. Enjoy fish and chips, cool to cold winds, sunset and seagulls. Simply walking is relaxing. The parking space is limited and has to be paid.

It is a clean and fun beach where families and young people can go. The only thing missing is the lack of life guards in case of emergency. It is very sad that the authorities should take precautions about this

Move over Melbourne, we’ve found the new cultural capital. Sculptures for days. Seagulls? Got them. Turtles? You betcha! A crab? That too! To be perfectly Frankston, I love you.

During the day it was very nice. There are some bbq area, bridge, lots of kids in playground. However, No lights at all along the pier, very dark and scary. A few fishing people along the pier who had to use their own lights. There are toilet on the beach which is ok. But I’m just Feeling not safe around this area at night.

Beautiful scenery and a nice small town. Plenty of variety in restaurants. The fantastic view of the pier and the Port Philip Bay with the view of the city across was fantastic.

This is a pleasant ~2-hour return walk. Parking is available near the entrance, and there’s a children’s playground at one end of the walk. The creek wasn’t full of water during my visit. The path isn’t suitable for prams as there are quite a few steps. Overall, a nice walk to enjoy.

Nice to have a nature walk in suburbia. Quite a few short track through bush with a creek winding through it. Pretty and well established tracks. Depending on which tracks you take there are lots of stairs. If you make it to the bottom the view of the ocean across the road is worth the effort 😊. Only downside are the houses back right up to the path for large sections of the tracks but it is still a nice walk and better than wandering the streets.

Such a beautiful trail through to the beach. You can’t really get lost, even though Google maps sent quite have all the trails in the right spot! Head down granites track to hang out at the granites section on the creek. Lovely to dip your toe in on a hot day!

Ever since I stumbled upon this hidden gem 8 years ago, when the locals wondered why I walk around with sticks,…. It has never turned back! Hikers are now visiting the place in droves…. Sweetwater creek volunteers, thank you for the upkeep and putting Frankston on the hiking map!

This reserve is an extraordinary gem in Frankston. Absolutely beautiful walking trails teaming with birds and natural foliage. I could have spent a whole day exploring. My kids loved it. There was a very accessible playground for them but they preferred all the creeks and trails. The granites is a nice spot to loiter for awhile. I highly recommend visiting.

Even though sweetwater creek is only 1km from Frankstons CBD it feels like you're 100km away out in the bush. There's a few different walking tracks with the longest being around 2km round trip. Some spots along the creek are very tranquil. There's quite a few stairs to navigate if you're coming from the Liddesdale Ave entrance but it's well worth it. A definite must see

Awesome trails in a wonderful nature reserve with a creek running through it. Great 20 minute walks will good hills and safe trails.

Great to take your reactive dog. Large pathways and dogs should be on leash. The wide pathways allow you to see if there are any other dogs around. Lots of shade and space.

We had a great time birdwatching. If venturing off the wide track, beware of snakes. We encountered one on a sandy shortcut path. We saw grey fantails, scarlet robins, red wattlebirds, new holland honey eaters, wrens and thornbills!

Lovely area to walk, nice and quiet despite being close to main roads. Very good for walking and bike tracks. Lots of wildlife, and plenty of different routes to take. There is a small river and a lookout with lovely scenic views.

Lucky to be within a 10 min walk from here.Plenty of trails for walking and riding bikes.Great array of native plants and you can come across the odd echidna or wallaby in your travels.Plenty of bird life as well

I had no idea how beautiful this place is. The panorama track provides views of the CBD on a less cloudy day and there are spectacular views of the Dandenongs too. I recommend taking a map so that you can point out many landmarks of the South East peninsula as there's so many you can see.

Lovely walk! Great bush around and gravel trail. Great for reactive dogs too , we could see who was coming ahead.

It's always a delight to discover wonderful areas such as this. The changes to the path throughout was most enjoyable. Great view at the top and so peaceful and quiet.

Best course in Melbourne. Immaculate presentation with facilities out of this world. Great services and the food was spot on.

Both courses sensational, but difficult, the greens are some of the purest I've played. Accomodations was very nice, to be fair only slept in the rooms as other attraction like the courses and the restaurant beckoned. Hard not to be super imressed by this facilty and the staff - a first rate experience.

The Peninsula Kingswood Country Club is a beautiful private club in Frankston. Outside it may not look much but beyond the gates is a different world. The South Course is challenging with tricky bunkers (not recommended for beginners or the faint hearted IMHO), and stunning and breathtaking from multiple angles; you can even see Melbourne City from one hole. Greens can be fast and the finishing hole is beautiful. Clubhouse is grand, and offers views of the courses. The golf facility is good too. Food we had at breakfast wasn't the best, def not what expected given everything we saw at the Club. Food at halfway huts were good.We had chips after golf and they were good too. There are other facilities at the Club, which we were told but didn't get a chance to see. I'd like to return to see what the other course has to offer, I heard it's even more scenic.

An amazing experience, played the North Course and it was brutal! The greens were about 13 on the stimpmeter, the bunkers suck the ball in, but I loved it! The fairways were like bowling greens, the course itself is beautiful, the facilities are first class and the proshop staff were very helpful and friendly. Overall a wonderful golfing experience. Thank you!

It's a germ in Melbourne. Challenge course , perfect conditions. Complete facilities， most of all, every staff here , always give the best service and big smile. Best golf club in Australia. Definitely worth to come back again and again.

When you drive through the gates, you feel like you’ve left the world behind you. Absolutely stunning greens. Definitely more for the experienced golfer. I had the opportunity to be a guest on the North greens, and besides the big winds on the day, I couldn’t ask for more. Loved every moment and the facilities and customer service was first class

This park has a few drawbacks; limited parking and no toilets being the most noteworthy. And some of the... rustic terrain isn't what you'd call picturesque. But the real positive is the number and variety of trails through the park. You could walk for hours if you had a mind to, and some sections (particularly the inner trails) are great. On balance, I enjoyed wandering here.

Try this place for a lovely, peaceful environmental walk or run.

This reserve has some amazing trail walks that lead you through the bush. Each trail comes out in a different part from where you started from You can walk for 20 minutes or 2 hours your choice. It also holds some some interesting information that is noted around the trails.

Calm, beautiful and serene. Wonderful place to go for a walk in nature. Do yourself a favour and take time out of your morning to walk the trails. One of my favourite ways to start the day.

Excellent park for nature walks. Lots of different roots combinations and interesting sites. Suitable for families, tracks are comfortable and well signed.

It can get very muddy along the Emu Wren track when you first enter the reserve but it's a likable place for an evening walk. Enjoyed an easy, relaxing circuit walk on a perfect, windless autumn afternoon. This was my first visit to the Reserve. It was interesting to discover the historical aspect; its former use as a military training ground, WW1 POW camp and hospital. Visits at other seasons will no doubt reveal a greater variety of flora. Similarly, the early morning visitor should enjoy seeing greater bird activity.

Lovely Hotel, short walk from Pier at Frankston foreshore, inside and outside seating. Food was nice but bar was under staffed only one lady welcoming and seating people, getting drinks and taking food orders luckily we got in before the lunch rush. Would be a great venue for a special event, wheelchair friendly except getting to the outside area has a few stairs.

Great food, chilled vibes, and fantastic staff at The Cheeky Squire. Loved that our dog could join us—made the day even better! Highly recommend for a relaxed, dog-friendly outing.

Went for dinner with a few mates on Wednesday. We had to wait 1hr for our food. All of our meals came out at the same time and they all seemed to be decent quality, but my steak was comfortably the worst steak I’ve ever had, well and truely overcooked and a terrible cut of meat (It was the most expensive steak on the menu also) I straight away had to say something to the bar staff which they were very good about helping me with, however the next steak that came out was just as bad, only slightly better due to it being a better cut of meat. I don’t like complaining at any venue even once, and twice in one sitting I couldn’t bring myself to do. The Quality of their food has seemed to decline in the past 6 months unless I’ve just gotten unlucky? Not sure.. but my free bottle of coke for the hassle doesn’t cut it if I’m honest. The photos attached are the second steak I received, “medium rare” the photos don’t really do it justice, It was very dry. And the first steak only had grill lines going in one direction which is a rookie error, the sear is the best part! I’ve had some great meals here in the past, this was just an all time blunder

Every time we’ve been there for a fantastic meal, the staff have been outstanding with customer service, but tonight was over and above. We booked for my partners birthday. Meals and drinks for 3. Beth made sure my partner had a complimentary birthday drink, what a legend, then when I made a query as we had a little delay on meals ( to be a little expected as the place was full ) , she went over and above to make sure we were looked after. That makes a patron feel more than just another punter, but more a welcomed and respected guest. Well done to all the staff that served us on table 5 . Made my partners birthday very special, memorable and we look forward to our next visit . Thank you .

I’ve been going regularly every Monday and friday for lunch with my husband as my mum is in a nursing home near by. We even take mum there for lunch too. She enjoys eating there too. The service is excellent, the food is delicious and very good prices. You don’t have to wait long for your order. We feel like part of the family. Kylie who works there and who is there when we go for our meals, always makes us feel welcome and as part of the family, as she is very friendly and takes care of ours needs. The toilets are also very clean and there is a ramp for those with disabilities. There are great views while we eat our meal as through the large windows we can see the bay in the distance and the park land. Excellent place to eat and relax.

Went on a Saturday night at 7:30 - booked a table for 10 in advance in the bistro. Atmosphere was really good, but loud. Lots of people still out with their families eating, we were out to celebrate with friends. Bar staff were great and wait staff were quick and didn't rush us. Would definitely go again.

Service was very friendly, food and drinks came out quickly. Food was really well presented and very tasty. Juice and milkshakes were great, coffee was average - a bit weak.

Got a takeaway coffee from here this morning. The service from the young girl working yesterday was exceptional. This morning, the complete opposite from the older woman working the out front. No good morning, no confirmation of my coffee order until asked, slammed the eftpos machine on the counter top, no smile. 10th time here for coffee and breakfast. Won’t be going back. No wonder small business is failing!!

THANK YOU CHARMIAM for the most amazing customer service. From the very first second we set foot into Flourish, we were greeted by this bubbly and friendly Charmiam who took great care of us. Shes even a natural at upselling! Even at the end when we needed takeaway boxes for our leftovers she was on break and just saw us come in with our plates and ran to our rescue. I am a support worker, and my client enjoys going out for coffees and brunch. But we find that a lot of cafes lack on customer service where my client ends up getting anxious and wants to leave halfway. But being at Flourish yesterday was a highlight for my client she thoroughly enjoyed it and we have the lovely Charmiam to thank for that. She went above and beyond for us. So now I have added Flourish to my clients fav cafe list we will definitely be back!!! The savoury muffins were absolutely divine!!! I had mine with salad and my client had hers with chips. She also had a jelly cake which she also enjoyed on our long drive back home. Beautiful hidden local gem! If you’re in the area, be sure to check it out. Has many seatings available outside such gorgeous setting!

This is a lovely, relaxed little cafe. The staff are incredibly friendly, the food fantastic, and the portion of outdoor or indoor seating is appreciated. Importantly the coffee is great! Well worth a visit.

Great little café for the locals of Frankston South. The coffee is fantastic and has a variety of breakfast dishes to choose from. The big breakfast is certainly all you could ask for! The waiting staff were friendly and prompt on arrival, the atmosphere was relaxed and peaceful. Highly recommend a visit.

First time ordering from here. We are sick to death of Menulog who just dump the food at the door, don’t bother to ring the bell, and it’s often left sitting in the rain when they could put it under cover. Also left right in front of the door so you cant even open it without disturbing the food. We just want to ring up, speak to a person, and pay cash at the door when they ring the bell. We had a lovely girl on the phone and a very friendly delivery driver. Why wouldn’t these companies want cash payment!!!!!! Pizza was delicious too.

This is the best pizza I’ve ever had. I’m moving tomorrow, and it’s such a shame that I won’t be able to have this amazing pizza again.

Yummy's Special Pizza is amazing. Just how I like it. They also have GF bases for Frustose Intolerant hubby, with no onion in the tomato sauce. Phone & ready for collection in 20mins.Great for takeaway or Delivery!

Yummy Pizza located in the heart of Lakewood on Heatherhill road is my favourite pizza shop of all time, I've been eating there since I was a kid and the pizzas there are amazing. I love there Yummys Special pizza the most but all there pizzas are great. The tomato sauce is beautiful on there pizzas and you can't find a fault with anything. George has out done himself with his quality of food and he is such a friendly guy to all his customers it's no surprise that he has been in business for 22 years strong. If your a local you know what I'm talking about and if your after a great pizza I highly recommend having a slice (I personally eat the whole pizza myself lol) every time I'm in the area I have to grab one even if I've already eaten there's just no beating these guys in taste. 5 out of 5 stars keep up the amazing work George your pizzas are the best 👌

Update June 22 still the same high quality and great service. Great burgers, fish and chips. Always has fresh oil. Always friendly. Affordable and tasty. Quick service and you can ring ahead to make it even quicker.
