If you only have 3 days to spend in Sucre, we’ve narrowed down the top places you should check out to get the best experience of your time here.
Sucre, Bolivia’s constitutional capital, is known for its striking whitewashed colonial architecture and well-preserved historic center, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Travelers come for its pleasant climate, leafy plazas, and churches and museums that trace the country’s independence history. The city also offers easy access to nearby markets and traditional villages, providing a window into Quechua culture and regional traditions. Affordable language schools and a relaxed atmosphere make it a popular place to linger and study Spanish.
With favorites like Freedom House, Simon Bolivar Park, and Torre Eiffel - Parque Bolívar, we’ll make sure you don’t miss out on all the must sees. We even included some of our favorite food spots around the area, like Cosmo Café Restaurant and El Paso de Los Abuelos so you can get the best taste of Sucre while you’re here. Central Market

Market
Mercado Central is a bustling market spread over multiple floors, offering a diverse range of products. From fresh fruits and vegetables to meats, cakes, and street food, the market has everything one could need. It's a vibrant place where locals have been shopping for over 26 years. The main level features an array of goods including grains, spices, bread, cheese, and flowers. Additionally, there are local restaurants on the third floor with similar offerings and prices.
Great market for trying local fruits and veggies! Beautiful colors everywhere which is great for photos. Make sure to bring cash, especially a lot of coins because they don’t like big bills and definitely don’t take cards! Absolutely worth a visit if you’re visiting Sucre!
Paul O — Google review
Nice market where you can find everything you need and with a nice food stall upstairs. It is a bit confusingly structured making it hard to find specific foods you might be looking for the first time you visit. But once you've found the right section, everything is easy going. And it feels absolutely safe here! Definitely worth a visit.
Dmitry S — Google review
You can find everything! But I’m giving 5 stars for fruits and veggies. The variety is vast, ladies are very nice, they offer you to try a banana or some other fruit before you buy more. I found some fruits I never knew existed (like avocado that looks like cucumber). And you can always negotiate! For food, they do have food court upstairs but there are a lot of vendors just outside on the streets with very delicious and inexpensive food as well. However, just for the sake of experience, try it at least once or just go look around.
Ema K — Google review
Good place for a wander during the day. Loads of different products on offer. We ate from a variety of food vendors and enjoyed all of them. Chorizo sandwich and saltenas are ones to try. Cheap fruit juices/smoothies on offer from very friendly vendors. There is a food hall at the top where we had a very inexpensive meal.
Brad A — Google review
Great place for fresh juices. We had banana and papaya (mixed - good for an upset stomach) and coconut. 16 BOV’s!!
Cal M — Google review
I like those market places. Many small cubicle that sell everything from all kind of food to everything you might need. This one is very similar to all those. Could use a good cleaning and for meat and cakes to be stored more secure. But this place is a visit worth. Especially the outdoor fruit market is very colorful.
Jens O — Google review
Oct25-what an amazing place for sight and sound and experience. Sellers are fantastic. Helpful. You can try things and some were happy to haggle a little

Awesome place where you can literally find anything: fruit & veg, flowers, toys, haberdashery items, meat, non-food, nuts and grains etc. Stall owners are very friendly and often give you a bit more or something extra. Must see & visit when in Sucre.

French restaurant
La Taverne Sucre is a must-visit restaurant in Sucre, Bolivia. It offers a diverse menu featuring classic French dishes, seafood, salads, succulent meats, and delectable desserts. Renowned as one of the best restaurants in Bolivia, it's a favorite among foodies. The restaurant provides an exceptional dining experience in the heart of Sucre. Whether you're craving fine dining or seeking healthier options, La Taverne Sucre has something for everyone.
Good service with great choice of French dishes. Nice interior decor. Service was very good and attentive services. Definitely worth visiting while in town.
Peter H — Google review
Despite a good reputation, we visited it on the wrong day -19.046648°, -65.259312° On Calle Aniceto, look for the “Alliance Français” sign and enter an alley to a courtyard and turn 180° to see the entrance. The menu has a French touch and there are excellent daily specials, including hearty Argentinian steaks and filet mignon, as well as a good wine selection. In short, this restaurant offers formal dining on tablecloths with a tasty menu and professional service. Friends have recommended this restaurant for its quiet and cozy atmosphere and culinary performance. In April 2025 we ordered the daily special Entrecôte Café Paris (118BS) with high expectations. The house wine (Merlot) (25BS) was good. The service seemed to be top notch but forgot the steak knife. From the beginning, the entrecôte was impossible to cut with normal cutlery. The steak knives did not succeed either. The entrecôte contained many hard parts that could not be eaten hard parts. We did not return the entrecôte to the kitchen to postpone the dinner for the others. But we had seen enough and concluded the daily special suffered a quality supply chain problem and the chef did not intervene. We left without dessert. Our friends were disappointed that La Traverne had not delivered. So were we.
Marcel C — Google review
This is a great place to have a more European style dinner. The food is top notch, prepared as it should in a 5* restaurant. Service is very good, always ready, although when it's busy it does run behind a little. The atmosphere is really nice, the place has a nice classy but cozy, a lot of dark wood and low lighting. Definitely recommend!
Hugo M — Google review
Nice steaks, good portion sizes, fancy atmosphere, English speaking staff. Pretty popular when we went on a Saturday night so a reservation is recommended
Guiping X — Google review
What a meal. We went for dinner here and to be honest I had low expectations for a French restaurant in Sucre, but wow. We had the French onion soup, Steak with Roquefort sauce and Fettuccine del Mar all of which were excellent. Desserts were great too. We chose one of the cheapest wines on the menu (we're backpackers) and it was also excellent. Also decent coffees. And yeah, it's expensive for Bolivia, but it's still cheaper than Europe and just as good if not better. Easily one of the best meals we've had in South America to date and we've been to a lot of places... Also the side salad of lettuce with raw onion dressed in mustard really reminded me of a Big Mac, in a good way.

Great food, excellent service. Great selection of wines and desserts.

Freedom House, also known as USFXCH Museum Dr. Alfredo Gutierrez Valenzuela or Gutierrez Museum, is a heritage museum and former church where Bolivia signed its declaration of independence in 1825. Housed in a French colonial-style building, the museum boasts an impressive collection of art and antique furniture that showcases the lavish lifestyle of Sucre's affluent residents during the 19th and 20th centuries.
It's definitely worth visiting and seeing art - the murals. The space is very well-kept, clean, and full of history.
Eldar — Google review
We took a tour with an English-speaking guide who provided plenty of useful information about the city and the country. However, unlike other guides, she didn’t use a speaker and headset, which made it a bit difficult to hear her at times. It's well worth a visit.
Alain M — Google review
Historic house full to the brim with Bolivian history both past and present. I’d recommend doing this with a tour, they run them in English and Spanish and perhaps some other languages too. The English one was around 3:30pm. The guide was very informative and I don’t think I would have got much out of just visiting the museum without that added information.
Tomas Z — Google review
While I appreciate the importance of this place, where the declaration of independence was signed, and the associated exhibits here, as a museum it is in my opinion very poorly organized. There are no signs pointing you in which direction to go (in which order to visit the rooms). It is hard to tell which rooms are even open for public as they might have a sign at the door suggesting it can be visited, bit the doors are closed. The exhibits appear to be a random collection of things, some rather remotely connected to the fight for independence and/or colonial times. Honestly, not sure if it is worth your time and money (when we visited kn October 2025 entrance was 30 BOB pP).
Dmitry S — Google review
Beautiful museum, well preserved and filled wirh original pieces from the revolution of Bolivia. I left with a lot of appreciation and respect for the history learned.
Francisco F — Google review
The House itself is very impressiv, however, when we got there at 11am there was an french or a spanish tour around the museum. The only other speaking tour was 4hours later in english. So we explored the museum on our own. which was hard with only spanish exhibition texts.
Nadine G — Google review
Amazing museum about the history of Bolivia. Our tour guide was well versed on the history and historic facts. It was both interesting and a great learning opportunity. The guide mentioned that they will be expanding the museum since they were able to purchas the house next door, so 2021 will have more exhibition rooms. This is a must visit if you want to learn more about the history of Bolivia.
Andrea A — Google review
An interesting place to visit with an important role in the history of Bolivia. The highlight is the declaration of independence, and the other paintings and artefacts that tell the story of independence. There are other temporary exhibitions too. You can take detailed tours in English and Spanish or you can explore yourself. Entrance is Bs20 for Bolivian nationals or Bs30 for foreigners.

The Iglesia de San Felipe Neri in Sucre is a popular tourist attraction known for its impressive rooftop, which offers breathtaking views of the city and an ideal spot to admire the sunset. This historical church, built in 1792 and currently used as a school, is worth visiting for its beautiful architecture. Visitors can explore the church interior, walk around the premises, and climb to the terrace for panoramic vistas of Sucre.
I visited several museums and churches in sucre. This one was the best for me. Beautiful architecture, and view from the mirador is very nice. Also the price is half the other churches (17 bs versus 30 everywhere else). The door might be closed, just ring the bell.
Gaelle S — Google review
A must visit in Sucre. Probably the best rooftop views in town. Guided tours, not free. Lots of history. Gotta ring the bell and wait outside to be able to enter the church.
Cambita F — Google review
The most beautiful place I saw here meanwhile. I'm not so much referring to the church itself, but more to the magnificent structure and the view from it. Anyone who wants to understand how beautiful Sucre is should come here. 7 stats
Gad T — Google review
It's probably the best place to visit while visiting Sucre. You can pay a small amount for entering the church's rooftop and enjoy an amazing view of the tiny city. Whatever you pay, you will not regret it, as the view from the top is just wonderful. It is something unique.
Eldar — Google review
The rooftop is very unique and definitely a must-visit in Sucre! ❗️The entrance is through the college, which is a bit to the right of the entrance shown on Google Maps. ❗️You need to ring the bell — if no one opens right away, just wait a bit; the lady inside might have stepped away for a while. Be patient and ring again from time to time — she’ll open the door. It’s best to have exact cash ready. ♥️ The lady (who was there during our visit) was wonderful. We told her we only had 20 minutes before heading to the airport — we came right at opening time — and she immediately understood. Even though other visitors arrived at the same time, she acted so quickly, guided us to the rooftop, and gave us a short but really nice explanation. Huge thanks to her! If it hadn’t been for her kindness and efficiency, we probably wouldn’t have made it in time.
Viki D — Google review
I LOVED this experience! You can walk on the roof of the church, and buoy the sunset. The views are magnificent. I went multiple times back just to enjoy the views and the sunset. Ticket is only 17bs. Very chill environment, White House’s and red roofs everywhere you look. Simply fantastic.

Salteñeria El Patio is a must-visit in Sucre, Bolivia. Known for serving the most delicious salteñas in town, this spot is a favorite among locals and tourists alike. The city, often referred to as the White City, is renowned for its beauty and rich history. Salteñeria El Patio offers a great variety of traditional Bolivian dishes that are worth exploring.
I am a big fan of their salteñas - I’ve tried their caldo (beef), pollo (chicken) and Santa Clara options, and I enjoyed all of the fillings. But the highlight is their pastry, which has a buttery crust - almost biscuity in texture. Best of all it’s served piping hot and fresh! Great ambiance and friendly service too. Highly recommended.
Jennifer C — Google review
This is a massive restaurant that features a courtyard dining area as well as more tables on the second floor. You order with the cashier initially and then go and find a table somewhere. You place your receipt on the table and then a server comes around to grab the small QR code part of the receipt to bring you your order. Interesting process but it worked. We ordered the caldo (beef broth), pollo picante (spicy chicken), and santa clara (chicken). All of them were good but my favorite was the santa clara, it came in a different flatter shape with a little sugar sprinkled on the pastry. Aside from that I couldn't tell you what was the difference between the santa clara and regular chicken salteña fillings. All of the pastry doughs had a pleasant buttery sweetness that matched well with the fillings. Also, the horchata almendra was delicious!
Matthew R — Google review
We took it as a takeaway but the seating area is very cute, the salteñas are delicious, the pastry slightly sweet and crunchy, and the filling divine!
N ( — Google review
The salteña are not only delicious but also a bang for bucks. 43bs for 2 bottles of water and 4 salteña. All the recipes are delicious and the atmosphere in the patio is amazing
Jérémie G — Google review
Amazing saltenas; it’s open until they run out of stock, beautiful atmosphere, and fast service. Come here early so you can grab one. Juices taste fantastic and it’s a nice place to mix with the locals (as it is not tailored for tourists).
Dorian H — Google review
Pretty popular with locals for breakfast, fairly priced, decent sized portions, made fresh to order so there may be a bit of a wait
Guiping X — Google review
Nice tasty and super juicy salteña with history. One of the best and the most famous in the town. I tried the beef, which seems to be the most classical one👍 10bs per each
Elsa W — Google review
Nov 2025: Stopped by for lunch, had vegetarian salteñas at 6.5bs each and a 500 ml coke for 7 bs. One wasn't enough and two were filling without being stuffed. It's very busy, we were told to expect a 30 minute wait but ours arrived earlier. Seating is on two levels, upstairs is around the perimeter of the balcony.

Mercado Campesino Sucre is a bustling market filled with a wide variety of fresh produce, meats, and fruit salads. The market offers an array of corresponding juices and local food stands where many locals dine. Visitors can sample the popular stuffed potato snack known as papas rellenas and enjoy affordable meals like soup for just three Bolivianos. The market also features dried llama embryos available for purchase as gifts.
Great market. One of the biggest of Bolivia. Also including a witchmarket.

While Sucre has an abundance of museums and cultural places and historic buildings, one of the nicest things to do is simply to walk and explore places like this is Mercado Campesino which is the largest marketplace in Sucre. It has been operating for many years and continues to expand due to the popularity of market culture in Bolivia. The market is a common place for rural or indigenous people to conduct business, with approximately 20,000 people from Sucre involved daily. Saturday is the most popular market day with lots of families visiting. It is an extremely vibrant place.

Wild and passionate market. I love markets in general and this has my heart with no exception. Fresh juices from $1.5, meats fish, fruits and veg, artesian crafts, kitchen items.. Last experience was a lady calling out across the crowd to me, "Hola! Ven para aquí" one of the juice makers. There was no one in her seats so I waved and made my way over for a pineapple, passionfruit juice. They make enough for 2 glasses so you have to stick around. Had a great experience here every time. Try to avoid using the bathrooms here.
Rubber K — Google review
It's a little overcroded, but have lot of local stores. Nice to walk around and buy stuff. Lot of buses also go there so easily accessible.
Sugandh D — Google review
Mercado Campesino is overpriced. I prefer to shot at mercado morro. Also, be very careful. My phone was stolen here, the day before New Year's and my roommates phone was stolen today, 25th of May, a holiday as well. Put your phone deep in your bookbag and always be on guard.
Nicole C — Google review
The mercado campesino is really worth a visit. It is definitely the better market than the mercado central. The variety of vegetables, fruits, fresh slaughtered meat, bloody chicken feet and fruit salads and the corresponding juices are amazing! For lunch there is a large variety of food stands where many (only) locals eat. The soup e.g. costs only three Bolivianos (approx 0.50 US$). Nearby you can find another market with dried Llama embryos offered to buy as a gift for the Pachamama.

Situated right on the central plaza, it's a great choice for families with children. The restaurant provides an excellent option for those seeking a relaxed atmosphere and delicious South American dishes while exploring the city.

You should definitely not miss out on having breakfast at the traditional central market, known as mercado central. A must-try for a traditional breakfast is api con empanada. The restaurant provides a clean and pleasant atmosphere.

Great salteñas although not my favorites because they are dry compared to other local options. But the have multiple styles of salteñas therefore it is a great place to try a few of them and choose the one you like the most. Very clean place, a pleasant atmosphere and located close to the city center. Salteñas as a bit overpriced compared to other similar restaurants.

Very nice service, pretty poor empanadas. I had one with jamon y queso which had sugar on top giving it a very odd taste. The quinoa one was quite sweet as well and the one with beef had a whole olive (i.e. including the stone) which really tested the quality of my teeth

Pizzeria MANÁ is known for serving the best pizza in Sucre, featuring thin crusts cooked in a wood-burning stove. While some find the sauce slightly sweet, many agree that it offers decent pizza at incredible value. It's particularly popular among hungry backpackers on a budget. The restaurant is recommended for its quick delivery and clean environment, making it suitable for families as well.
Good pizza, fair price. Restaurant aimed at families.

It could be a really nice pizza, it has everything that is needed nice topping, good looking dough - just one thing was off for me: the tomato sauce and the pizza dough was sweet/sugary - maybe this is how they're doing it around here, but it is definitely not my style.

It is such a funny fact that Bolivia can brag they have also an Eiffel Tower. Yes, it was truly designed by Gustave Eiffel himself. I came with a friend who wanted to buy some chocolates for gifts and we ended up buying a few truffles to try. They were only a couple of bolivianos each so it wasn't much. Really tasty. Each of the smaller chocolate bars was 8 Bs which is just over a dollar.

Real expensive for what you get compared to other countries. For 60 grams of bonbons I payed yesterday 26Bs. Those prices for the bonbons are stated nowhere. However, the chocolates are nice, but price-quality wise this is a misfit or was it a miscalculation? The cake is priced ok at their other shop.

Went here every day I was in Sucre. The sandwiches are DELICIOUS. I tried a new one every day and all of them were great. The service as well as the coffee is fantastic as well, and everything at a fair price. 10/10 recommend!

-Cafe in a nice location. -Unfortunately a bit disappointing. The cafe was very cold inside, it should be more closed off to the outside. -They only had two types of tea which is crazy for a cafe that offers many on the menu. -The service from one waiter was really slow. They then left and the service from the next waiter was much better and faster. -The hot chocolate we got was not great, to be improved. -We got take-away panini sandwiches for the airport which were quite nice.

This is a really nice cafe at the edge of a park - I'd recommend going around sunset and taking a stroll afterwards. The cappuccino was quite good, and the cake and sandwiches were OK. I'd have rated this place 4 stars if it was not so far and away the best that we had in Sucre - and thats after sampling many many coffee shops there. The space itself is also quite cute and bohemian. I'd definitely swing by on any future trips to Sucre.

I recently ordered takeout from Papavero Ristorante e Pizzeria and was delighted with the Winter and Spring pizzas. The quality of the dough, mozzarella, and tomato sauce was exceptional, making it the best pizza I've had since my time in Cali, Colombia. The food was ready for collection promptly as promised. I highly recommend this place! Moving on to their other offerings, I was very impressed by the fresh gnocchi flavored with pesto and walnuts.
They have the best pizza in Bolivia. It was made of fresh dough with quality ingredients on top. We tried Marina and Jamon Crudo, even took 2 pizzas away.

This is a great Italian restaurant! The Nord Est pizza was delicious with a huge portion of housemade burrata and surprisingly good mortadella. The garden salad was decent with their housemade mozzarella. We had a bottle of Bolivian Riesling that paired well with the meal. Also, the homemade lemonade is some of the best we've had in a long time, a must try!

We dropped into thai place knowing that it’s the best Italian restaurant in town. Pizzas were very good. They had high quality ingredients and the dough was quite similar to the pizzas in Italy. Parque Cretácico, also known as Parque Cretacico Cal Orcko, is a historical park in Sucre that offers guided tours showcasing preserved footprints and life-size dinosaur skeletons. The park features a viewing platform facing a cliff adorned with over 12,000 individual tracks from 15 different species of dinosaurs dating back to the late Cretaceous period.
Such a fun dinosaur park, I’d say it’s a must-do if you like weird and wonderful attractions. Getting there is easy with the Dino bus that leaves in the morning (9am, 10am and some other times) for 15BOB return. Do both tours once you’re there to learn about dinosaurs and then the hard hat tour to see the footprints up close. They are current redeveloping the lower part of the park to make it even bigger so interesting to see what comes next. Also the AI video is worth it for only a couple of bucks - super funny.
Tomas Z — Google review
Well worth a visit to see the numerous tracks and with guided tours in English or Spanish included in the 30 bob price it's a deal. The guide was excellent and brought the history of the place to life for us. It's a steep walk down from the entrance to the cliffs where the footprints are located and you have to return the same way, so it's a bit of a workout, especially if it's hot. Hardhats are mandatory and supplied at the gate. There are numerous footprints and the guide points out the shapes to describe each of the 4 types of dinosaur. In the entrance area are lifesize models of multiple creatures and a small museum. It's an interesting way to spend a couple of hours. The bus from the main square takes about 25 minutes each way or you can take a taxi.
Phil M — Google review
I was expecting something like Jurassic Park and it was not it haha. Well, basically they found dinosaurs footprints and decided to create a tourist attraction around it. There's the bus downtown that you get in front of the cathedral for 15bobs and you pay 30bobs to get it. Before the tour starts, you watch a video. There's the option of having the tour in English too. You walk a lot to get to the places where you actually see the footprints. You get covered in dust during the tour since there are trucks coming and going. Great view of the city but there are other better for free. There is food and water, a bit pricy.
Beatriz L — Google review
Absolutely loved the dinosaur footprints tour! It was such an impressive and unforgettable experience. Unfortunately, I didn’t catch the name of our guide, but he was a very pleasant man — explained everything clearly and made the whole tour really engaging. He even used little toy dinosaurs to show which footprints belonged to which species, which was adorable and super helpful. At the end, there’s plenty of time to take photos, even if the group is large — everyone has time to walk around and get their perfect shot. Notices: ❗️Tours are held only at 12:00 and 13:00. On our day, the 12:00 group was much larger than the 13:00 one. ❗️You don’t need (and can’t actually) buy tickets in advance ❗️To join the 12:00 tour, you need to catch the ”dinosaur-bus” from the main square in Sucre at 11:00. ❗️Our tour actually started a bit earlier, around 11:40, as soon as the bus arrived. ❗️To reach the footprints, you first need to go down a long staircase and later climb back up, so keep that in mind if it matters for you. ❗️If you come outside of the guided tour hours, the park is boring for adults, but with the excursion — it’s great! P.S: Right now, they’re also building new exhibition areas on the site, and it looks like they’ll be ready soon — I think it’s going to be amazing once everything is finished.
Viki D — Google review
Very educational and fun for the whole family. You can see dino footprints. Take the shuttle from the main square. Restrooms available, snack/rest on site. Group tours in English and Spanish. Well worth the visit.
Cambita F — Google review
A nice way to spend half a day in Sucre and see dinosaur footprints. It’s not the greatest museum or paleontological site, but I don’t think it claims to be either. The 11:00 bus from the plaza (15Bs) is perfect to catch a tour to see the footprints up close. Entry fee is 30Bs for tourists.
Elliott G — Google review
After arriving with the Park Double Decker bus we were given a tour of 30 minutes by an English speaking guide. He had a lot of knowledge and talked about the animals and how the footsteps were discovered. After this tour we headed down (steep stair) to the large wall with the footsteps with another English speaking guide. Sneakers are fine by the way. If it rains hiking shoes maybe best. Down at the wall he gave us more information and we were eventually left alone to wander a bit.

Delicious lunch at the lovely El Huerto. They were very responsive on Instagram to make a booking and even though I was quite late because my morning tour ran over they were very accommodating. I had the meal of the day. I'm afraid most of the courses were very dry, and my cordero was not only dry, but very salty. I appreciated the atmosphere, it was very pretty sitting on the patio. The service was great, but for the price of the food, I would say very low value.

The hotel called el Huerto restaurant to inquire whether we could still eat there, as it was already 2pm and we still needed to take a taxi to get there. They responded that we could, if we would arrive before 3 pm. So we decided to take a taxi and arrived just in time. At the restaurant the lady told us that they were already closed and even then we would have needed a reservation. We could have saved the taxi ride if they would have informed us correctly on the phone. Bad service!

The Treasure Museum, located in Sucre, Bolivia, is a fascinating destination dedicated to showcasing the art of metals and gems. Divided into four main areas, the museum offers insights into traditional Bolivian gold and silver jewelry-making techniques as well as the evolution of these crafts over time. Visitors can explore a vast collection of silverware, goldsmithing, and precious stones incorporated into various objects and jewelry.
Great museums with several rooms. A guide is included in the price (30 bs for non national). Our guide was very passionate and provided very interesting information about the mines extraction in Bolivia as well as more context about the country evolution.

We stopped by to inquire when an English speaking tour would be held as we wanted to visit the following afternoon and were told if we purchased tickets then, it would be at 15:30 the next day (reopens at 15:00). The tour was interesting and informative however the design does not permit adequate views of the display information. Each room is dedicated to a different subject (silver, gold, etc) with display cases that are only illuminated when being discussed. The guide moves very quickly to the next case which means not everyone, or even anyone, has the opportunity to view the items more closely.

Highly recommend the guided tour. We didn't get the name of our guide unfortunately (afternoon of 12/03) but he was excellent. Exhibits are varied, and some are beautiful! You learn about the history of precious gems and silver in Bolivia (up to the present day as there are still discoveries now!), but also some Bolivian history as well as the uses of gems and precious metals through history. This tour really surpassed our expectations.

Really enjoyed this museum. The guided tour in English was brilliant and the guide was very knowledgeable. It costs 30 bolivianos for a foreigner and the tour lasts around 1 hour. Serves amazing vegan pancakes! A great place in Sucre, I visited it a few times during my stay. It is also a non-profit offering amazing city tours and other tours.

Friendly service, healthy delicious food and great spot to chill if you arrive on an early morning bus (opens at 7:30am not 7:00am). Added bonus of a friendly cat and good wifi.

Nice spot in front of the plaza 25 de mayo in Sucre. Ambiance was fun, Young people from Sucre were having a nice time there. A lot of good Options for vegetarians. We order the quinoa risotto and the national dish Mundongo with 2 pintes. Everything was great. The staff were super nice.

We got a jar of lemonade with cerdo and the mondongo here. The lemonade could have been colder but was still good. The mondongo was also good but could have used some more salt. Overall, a decent spot with good service.

Nice to find a place open on election night. The young guy waiting was very good. The food was nice but nothing special. Good price. Bathroom was very clean.

There are some good regional foods to try here. The place is going for a hip vibe. Big money for Bolivia but if you’re in the mood for a candle light dinner here it is.

We needed a place for a late night dinner after the dance show and this place was very accommodating. We ordered our food before the show and the hot foods were ready when we arrived. Our group had grilled chicken, pasta, Pad Thai chicken, chips, and chips with roast beef. The food portions were super big! Good cocktail lists too.

A very nice gem in Sucre. Wonderful informal atmosphere, great food and an amazing selection of local wines - and trust me: Bolivian wines are great. There's a nice menu of tapas, pizzas and more substantial dishes. Definitely recommended.

A great place to eat in Sucre. The atmosphere was warm and friendly, and the food and service were both great. They have a wide selection of things on the menu, including a good range of local beers on tap and in bottles.

We actually went twice during our stay as the first time was so good. Second time equally as impressed. Cosy pub environment. Could maybe have a couple more options on draft if being picky. Pork ribs, burger & apple crumble in the photos were amazing

Pub with much better than expected pub food -19.049278°, -65.258420° The formal restaurant Nativa was fully booked for the next few days, so was El Solar and restaurant Bienmesabe was undergoing its next transformation into squatters’ bar, so we paid a visit to café-restaurant Florin, from Dutch owners. Florin is a combination of a bar with bar music and a bistro. Their menu appeals to every visitor and young local residents also find their way to Florin. In April 2025, we ordered Lomo de llama steak (70Bs) medium rare with baked potatoes, champions and salad. The salad had strawberries mixed in. The llama steak was well prepared with nice texture and flavours. The quality of the food is a few levels above pub grub, but no culinary adventures here. Florin is a good pub with better than expected pub food. Recommended

Nice place for a beer, bitterballs and pub food. It is a Dutch runned place, they have a good selection of beers, but no range of Dutch beers. The boneless spareribs were fine, but lacking a bit of flavour. Like they were first cooked and then heated/grilled with a layer of sauce. Owner is a friendly guy.

I went with the Pad Thai recommendation and it was great. The other meals I saw come out also looked good. Nice music and not loud.

(Translated by Google) We order and although there are few waitresses they are super fast. The food arrived quickly. The disadvantage is that you have to pay at the cashier once they take your order. Apart from that delicious food, Play place for kids. let's go clean Very spicy charqui EMPANADAS, we ordered it for my son and he didn't warn us about the spiciness.

(Translated by Google) Everything they serve is delicious, but the customer service isn't that great. You arrive and it's a free-for-all. It's great that you prepay for your order and then they forget about you. There's no first-come, first-served order, meaning customers have to fight for a table. I think that just as they take your order and make you pay in advance, they should be concerned about seating customers in a seated order. These types of situations make for a poor customer experience.
