It's, maybe, the prettiest spot in Popayán, and you have some essentials right there: drugstore, money exchange (Western Union and Duque, at the right side of the clock-tower building), ATMs, some local fast food and mobile sellers, and free internet - if you are are lucky and it works. I like the fact that the logos and different companies names are in black or golden ON WHITE, keeping the town's emblematic colour in good order.

This relaxed park, surrounded by white governmental and religious buildings, offers plenty of shade due its tall trees and well preserved benches. The security authorities ensure that the park is safe both during the day as well as at night. Street vendors stand on its perimeter serving delis

À 2018 guidebook mentions a statue of someone on a horse. The statue isn't there anymore, only the foundation remains. Nice place though to just sit and look over the city. Easy walk from the center.

One of our best experiences in a restaurant in Colombia in 7 weeks. We've had a Pizza Vegetariana and a Pizza Francesca, both delicious and generous (pequeña equals medium/large size in Switzerland), with a small salad included. The service was great!

It's a tourist trap. It's expensive for the area, incredibly noisy and overcrowded. And the food was mediocre. I had Lasagna bolognese and a pizza to go. The Lasagna was OK, but I'm not even sure it was prepared there. And the pizza was horrible, undercooked and doughy with not nearly enough sauce. Honestly it taste like gas station pizza

Delicious pasta puttanesca made directly by the Swiss owner and a nice/unique Eduardo Santos dessert which I tried for the first time. The skeleton crew running the place was overwhelmed with customers however and took quite some time to even bring us our drinks and eventually our order.

Excellent place. We went twice in as many days. First we had the cheese fondue, which was delicious and tasted exactly as it should, despite the distance from Switzerland. The second day we had pizza and the beef medallions in creamy mushroom sauce. Both portions were huge and made with great quality ingredients. Also, on both days the staff were lovely.

The food at this restaurant was the worst Italian food I have ever eaten in my life, and I have eaten a lot of Italian food. The ravioli tasted like soap. They were swimming in water, obviously not adequately drained. The service was lousy, as well. Don't waste your money.

the restaurant is huge and was packed when i visited. i liked the food and especially the fact my juice was unsweetened. staff was friendly but seemed unorganized . my dishes arrived in reverse order, then after waiting 8 minutes i had to get up and ask somebody to get any juice. also at the cashier instead of respecting a line they just serviced whoever they felt like. if you don't mind the service you can have a good meal at a fair price here.

The owner is from Guerrero state and explained to me that it was Guerrero style mole and is a bit sweeter and has less cocoa than the mole poblano sauce that I was used to. It was very good and just the right picante - I was wiping sweat off my forehead before I finished the first of my three enchiladas. I was surprised that the meal didn't come with any rice or beans, just a small serving of coleslaw. But the enchiladas were huge and stuffed with chicken breast, so I left very full. It was a great meal at a reasonable price with great service. If you aren't into spicy hot food, some of the other dishes like the burritos aren't that hot.
