Tanah lot temple is located in the sea side, one of the famous sea temples in Bali. Tanah Lot translates to "Land in the sea". The temple is built on a rock formation off the cost making it appear to float on the sea during high tide. It is famous for the stunning sunset views. Plan your trip to make sure that you will be able to witness the sunset from there. At the base of the temple, there is holy water which is guarded by snakes. We can enter here and seek blessings as well. There is lot of shops available for shopping near the entry and exit gates. Also, the famous traditional Balinese gate is there for photo shoots. Worth visiting 👍

Must-visit when you’re in Bali! I went here around sunset, and it was absolutely breathtaking. What I really love about this place is that it’s not just about the view. It’s a complete experience. There are plenty of little shops selling local souvenirs and crafts, a variety of restaurants and cafés where you can grab a meal or a fresh coconut while enjoying the ocean breeze, and sometimes you can even catch traditional Balinese dance performances near the temple area. The energy and atmosphere here feel both peaceful and lively at the same time. It can get a bit crowded during sunset, but it’s worth it. Just take your time, find a good spot, and enjoy the moment. If you’re planning a trip to Bali, don’t skip Tanah Lot. You’ll leave with amazing photos and even better memories.

The church itself is beautiful. It's worth a visit. We were there during low tide, so we could get quite close to the church and even went to a part of it. To go up, the local priests must first bless you, and then they'll let you onto the stairs. I don't think the church itself is open to tourists. It wasn't crowded, which was also a plus.

Absolutely stunning place. The temple on the sea is beautiful. The waves crashing around the temple is fabulous. Has cafes and food also people selling there wares. Plenty of parking Sea views . Well worth a visit

Nearby, a lively market offers reasonably priced souvenirs from local vendors There are a couple of special experiences here — you can view the holy snake (for a fee) and receive spring water near the entrance in the ocean. The area is popular with tourists, so expect crowds, but it’s well-managed with lots of local shops and stalls along the way. A beautiful blend of nature, culture, and tradition — highly recommended!

The entrance is a little pricey for the country but there's a nice market, shops, restaurants and coffee around that are cheaper than most of big cities around. Good walk and good view.

Good place to visit if you'd like to feel the Bali culture. We visited on a Saturday and got to see a few parades of worship took place. It can get pretty crowded. A good place to see the sunset.

Just a short 5-minute walk from Tanah Lot is Pura Batu Bolong, a much smaller temple perched on a rock arch over the sea. It’s often less crowded, very picturesque, and well worth the short walk for a quieter, equally charming experience.

Interesting place to visit. If you want to walk across to the island you need to be aware of the tides.

Don’t come to this beach! It’s the worst I’ve seen. The sand was dirty, the water was murky, and there was absolutely no one else around—probably for a reason. There are zero services available, not even basic amenities. I couldn’t believe this was supposed to be Bali! It felt completely neglected and far from the paradise you’d expect. Avoid it at all costs.

Black sands beach, big rocks, serene and nice. Recommended to run away from busy beach.

The beach is much quieter than other popular ones. The black sand is so beautiful and soft and it’s a very pretty location to watch the sunrise or sunset. When I was there the waves weren’t too strong and it was nice to swim in. I will comment though that there was a lot of rubbish on parts of the beach but not all of the beach.

With the scooter the way is very easy. Parking possible for 2000. It is a nice beach with few tourists and more local people. It is a beautiful quiet place. I just went to the beach for the sunset. The sunset is incredible and the view is just amazing. It is worth it!

Its located near tanah lot temple. The black beach sand and the water was rather warm. If you want avoid the crowded this beach is a good place to see sunset. Some people come to this place for take a photograph, because have stunning background of cliffs. But unfortunately this beach have many trash from near rivers.

The beach is really nice, fine sand, good waves and cool gentle breeze. Sunset was breathtaking. BUT there were alot of dogs roaming on the beach and they just pee and poo on it at will. The owners did not bother picking up the poo as well. That ruined the experience for me.

Canggu Beach is a nice beach, but not a dreamy paradise beach like in Thailand for example. The sand is dark, the water is rough with big waves. It is good for surfing and watching sunset with a drink, but definitely not a good beach to go have a swim and have a feeling of paradise.

It was a nice beach, but nothing particularly special. There are lots of restaurants around, and we did enjoy watching the dogs play, but overall, it was just an average experience.

Sorry, this beach is nothing beautiful but filthy looking sand. We were lucky to catch some sunset despite the cloudy day. The vibe is so so to me despite the loud partying music playing in the background. I think the strong waves would appeal to the surfers out there. I’m sure they would appreciate the beach more than this sis, for sure. 😅😅😅

Great experience at Canggu Beach 🌊! I took a surfing lesson for 250,000 IDR for 2 hours 🏄‍♂️ – great instructor, very good teacher! It is also possible to rent a board alone for only 50,000 IDR. And the sunset here is simply magical 🌅… A must-do in Bali ✨

Absolutely loved this Japanese rooftop restaurant I visited yesterday! The prices were very reasonable, and the view overlooking the ocean was perfect for watching the surfers ride the waves. My cocktail arrived with a dramatic dry ice effect, such a cool touch! The waiter was so lovely and attentive, even brought me extra wasabi without hesitation. Beautiful restaurant with a good atmosphere. The food was incredible, no complaints at all. Our waitress Devie was very attentive and welcoming! Cocktails are refreshing and everything is a good price for the quality of the food. I will come back again!

Absolutely amazing food! And beautiful view. We watched the sunset, and enjoyed a variety of starters, sushi, the ribs (fantastic), and dessert. All of it 10/10! And Sapna our waitress was so sweet and attentive.

The food is exceptional, very very high quality. We had tuna tataki, ribs, sushi and all of them were amazing. The desserts were so nicely executed. The whole experience was one of the best we had in Bali. The view is on the sea. Also the staff was so friendly. Special thanks to Sapna for being so lovely with us.

Nice place! Wasn't told that water fill is not free. Sometimes it is free. Minus a star for rat feces on the table. Otherwise cool place. Fish soup is great!

I came cross by here after visiting Tana Loh, the restaurant run by locals who very dedicated and friendly, nice view of paddy field, fish pond. Fresh food cooked right after ordering, just few minutes waiting. Highly recommend

Was there last sunday with a group of friends. Lovely place, amazing location to watch the sunset and enjoy live dj music. Adi helped us a lot, amazing customer service from him. We had some free drinks and cake to celebrate our last day/friend’s birthday. It’s a chill and relaxed place and you get pool access too. Thanks again, will definitely be back

Gorgeous resort and beautiful beach club. The food was good, nothing special. The tables / sofas close to the beach are worth it with a great view of the sunset and the waves after!
