Dubrovnik in 3 days

If you only have 3 days to spend in Dubrovnik, we’ve narrowed down the top places you should check out to get the best experience of your time here.
The walled city of Dubrovnik is an incredible place to discover. It is often called the "Pearl of the Adriatic," and is simply stunning. Around Dubrovnik are massive stone walls built in the early 16th century to defend the city against Ottoman invasion. From the walls, you can see the Adriatic and ancient buildings that still stand, many of which are churches, fortresses, and towers from the Middle Ages.
With favorites like Dubrovnik Cable Car, Coffee & Fast food Yummmi, and Bota Šare Oyster & Sushi Bar, we’ll make sure you don’t miss out on all the must sees. We even included some of our favorite food spots around the area, like Pizzeria Tabasco and Cafe Bar Orlando so you can get the best taste of Dubrovnik while you’re here. To see our full list of food recommendations, check out our best restaurants post. If you're traveling on a budget, you can check out our cheap eats post.

A visit to the iconic Dubrovnik City Walls is an absolute must for anyone exploring this stunning coastal gem. Stretching nearly 1,940 meters, these impressive fortifications are among Europe’s finest and feature a mix of round towers, rectangular fortresses, and bastions that date back to the 15th century. As you ascend the main stairway on the western side, you'll be greeted with breathtaking views of both the vibrant Old Town and the sparkling Adriatic Sea.
Great way to see the whole of the Old Town and views out to sea. Would definitely recommend if you're visiting Dubrovnik. It's worth getting the Dubrovnik Pass which will allow you access to the Walls and many other activities/sites in Dubrovnik.

The 'must do' thing when you are in Dubrovnik. On a good day you can see for miles from the top of the walls and it is probably the best place to view the old city buildings from. There are really nice views of Fort Lovrijenac from the walls and you can spot lots of Game of Thrones filming locations from them. Highly recommended and don't forget that the price includes a visit to Lovrijenac as well.
Tim L — Google review
Breathtaking views every corner. A lot of stairs but it’s totally worth it. We didn’t purchase the one day pass to go inside the city wall, we just purchased the city wall pass and it was €10. Highly recommended place.
Mahvic C — Google review
Amazing city walls, absolutely beautiful scenery from everywhere you walk. The walls are in amazing condition and are so clean and well looked after. Lots of walking and lots and lots of steps, but worth it for the views.
Nina V — Google review
Beautiful scenery - it shows you the true glory of Dubrovnik. We went during a rainy day and even then it was still gorgeous. Lots of little cafes along the way with toilets (which we used to hide out in during the heavy rain!)
Grace X — Google review
The walls are a must do it you are visiting Dubrovnik. It takes about 1.5-2.5 hours to complete as per your place. The views are just fantastic. Wear comfortable shoes. There are a few places to grab something to eat and drink. The wall ticket also gives access to Fort Lorijenac for a duration of 3 days so don't throw it away. The ticket costs 250 HRK. Came to know later that the Dubrovnik card costs 250 HRK and it covers the wall and a bunch of other places so please do check that out first. Best to do first thing in the morning to avoid crowds. Sunset is also a good time for great views
Bharathi M — Google review
The walls of Dubrovnik are iconic, no doubt, but are they worth 35 Euro per person or almost $40? I'm not sure about that. As glamorous as it sounds, walking the walls is not that pleasant. There is no shade up there whatsoever, and the views, though initially stunning, quickly become repetitious, and in concert with the heat, they turn to old news as you start searching for shade, water and eventually the exit. I, for one, did not finish the circuit and bowed out before the heat stroke had the chance to do me in.
Robert C — Google review
Lovely scenery from walls. Costs 35 Euro per person. We have been there with one 6yrs old and one 2.5yrs old, also our foldable stroller was with us. It was not too easy with stroller because you need to carry a lot. If you have foldable and light weight stroller, you can take it with you. The easiest way to start is from Maritime Museum, less steps and easy to climb up. Rest of the entrances have more and steep steps. It is one way walk, and you do not have to take round tour. We left the walls from Pile gate.
Erinc O — Google review
An incredible experience! Would recommend everyone to do it. There are roughly 1000 steps and the distance is approximately 2 kilometres but don't let that fool you, it is a serious workout. They advised that it should take an hour but it took us double that doing it with two small children. In the end the kids were exhausted and we were not able to visit the fort (the City walls entrance ticket allows you access to the nearby Fort Lovrijenac). Would advise to start early in the day if you're visiting in the summer as it gets quite hot post 11am.
Ashwin K — Google review
Great view of the whole city. 35 Euros is a fair amount, but if you're interested in doing something else too (like visiting the fortress outside the walls which is 15 euros on its own) then it makes the price much more justified. There are breaks for food and drinks along the 2.1k walk. Lots of steep stairs, be a bit careful if you don't like heights. Amazing though, definitely recommend as an activity.

Ascend to new heights with a ride on the Dubrovnik Cable Car, a 4-minute journey that whisks you 778 meters up to a plateau boasting breathtaking views of the Old City. At the summit, you can savor a meal at the panoramic restaurant while taking in the picturesque backdrop of Dubrovnik's terracotta roofs and the expansive Adriatic Sea.
Expensive but worth the money! I think kids should be under 16 though, not under 12. We have teenagers and so €30 per person return becomes really expensive for the family. Not too long to wait, even in August! I recommend eating at the restaurant at the top. It is well worth the money for the fantastic view and the food is good. I also recommend visiting the war museum at the top, which we all found very informative and I found actually that my teenagers could relate to this more easily than the world wars, since it was relatively recent. It is so shocking to see images of Dubrovnik under attack. The views from the top of the cable car are of course fantastic.
Barbara E — Google review
Never stop to listen to the people standing there offering to drive you to the best location to make the best pics from the top of the mountain . This you can do yourself once you arrive there. Besides, from the gondole you enjoy a marvelous 360 grade sight of Dubrovnik as you slowly go up. There's nothing you can substitute with to this experience.. Enjoy and prepare your cam :-)
Jelique D — Google review
You can buy tickets at the entrance. We bought only cable car tickets, but there are also Dubrovnik card tickets available. Sunset is a peak hour. You can walk down with nice view to the city. If you walk aside a little bit (sunset direction) there will be less crowded spots to enjoy the sunset.
Rostislav P — Google review
Beautiful scenery. Worth every penny. We went on a sunny day. The day we wanted to go the cable cars were not running due to high winds and rain.. so we drove up the narrow road that leads up to that point. I would not fo that. It's a 2 way narrow road. If u can gallows either taxis or someone it's fine otherwise pulling over is hard on to gravel.
Joanna L — Google review
Gorgeous views over Dubrovnik. Sunset was amazing from the top. Walk a little towards the left (cable car behind you) to find some beautiful nature and even better views. We also bumped into a herd of goats. Queue down after sunset was almost 1h, right before no queue whatsoever (neither up or down).
Fredrica B — Google review
The only negative for this cable car ride is the cost of round trip for 30 EUR. You can get a flight ticket from London dubrovnik for the exact same price, and the views will make you feel you redeem the cost of it but I remember paying much lesser fee for longer cable car rides. The views are amazing , there is only one half decent restaurant on the top to have a beer and enjoy the views, and if you are going around sunset time, the uphill rides become very crowded and long queues so plan your trip accordingly
Pavan N — Google review
Recommend taking the cable car... great views and access to a swish restaurant/bar at the top. 30 euros for a return trip but well worth it. Smooth journey. Takes about 5 minutes. Didn't eat at the restaurant but had lovely, reasonably priced, drinks whilst enjoying the fabulous views.
Lorraine K — Google review
A little bit overpriced but nice experience. Weather-dependent operation: Wind or lightning can halt service. Lines can stretch 30-60 minutes in summer. Go early or around sunset if you prefer shorter waits. The cabins are large, stable, and smooth-friendly even for those with a bit of a fear of heights. Many recommend visiting an hour before sunset for the most stunning light and cooler crowds

Fast food restaurant
Restaurant
Barba is a charming eatery located in the heart of Dubrovnik City, offering a unique blend of traditional Dalmatian cuisine with a contemporary twist. The restaurant's name, which means 'old man' in Croatian, reflects its focus on bringing domestic and traditional seafood to modern diners.
Love this concept of food . I choose octopus burger and the burger bread was made with cuttlefish ink. The taste is amazing. Ante and miho(the owner) and Nina were really nice and friendly. You might have to wait if you want a table inside but there are some stairs next to the place where you can sit and wait for your turn to sit at the tables or you can have takeaway on the stairs. You can also enjoy a drink while waiting for your table. So far I recommend for a quick lunch or dinner.
Ana I — Google review
I had high hopes for the Octopus Burger, especially after seeing it featured on Somebody Feed Phil and reading the glowing reviews on Google. Unfortunately, it didn’t live up to the hype for me. The octopus flavor was barely noticeable, and the bread-to-filling ratio felt off, too much bun. The fish was decent but didn’t stand out in any memorable way. On the bright side, the service was excellent and made the experience more enjoyable overall.
Lea P — Google review
I ordered takeout twice and dined in once. Overall, the food is tasty and worth coming back for. I personally wasn’t impressed by the octopus burger, but their anchovies are absolutely the best. You can substitute the side for french fries. I also tried the calamari, which were good. Dine-in wait time was around 15–20 minutes, and the food came out fairly quickly. Takeout was ready in about 10 minutes. I’d come again, even after 3 times. I saw people eat their take out on the staircase next to the restaurant.
Martin E — Google review
The place is super cozy, I did not expect it to be so good and original. We tried the octopus burger and it was a hit, although for my taste it had too much bread. It is a family business and the guy who served us could not have been nicer, he knew many languages and they make you feel at home. I would repeat a thousand times.
Noelia G — Google review
A truly standout place in Dubrovnik. Simple, no-frills, and fast service.. but the food is absolutely delicious. Highly recommended in a city where many places focus more on appearances than quality (and price). The octopus burger is a must try…simply outstanding.
Lisandro R — Google review
Food, service and atmosphere = 5/5. The owner Evis and her cousin/worker Eva were super friendly and hospitable. They recommended the Octopus burger which was delicious. Loved every bite of it. Above all was their customer service and the conversation that we had while my burger was being made. Restaurant was clean and hygienic. Highly recommended!! Would definitely visit again! Thank you Evis 😊
Jatinder M — Google review
Brilliant experience here. We ordered the sharing platter which came with the octopus burger (cuttlefish ink bun!), fired fish, calamari, fried prawns, octopus salad (this was soso refreshing), potato salad, anchovies and pate on bread and a choice between fresh oysters or fried oysters (we opted for both). This was such a unique platter and we would love to come here again and order the same thing! It was quite a small restaurant and was fairly popular so you may need to wait a bit but they did work quick and the staff are so welcoming. You can also do takeout as well! - We saw some people order takeout and have this by the ocean, which would be lovely! What I loved is that they did not skimp out on the portions, it was so packed and we loved every bite! They also have wooden forks available to decorate the restaurant, which is so fun while you wait and it makes time go by so quick!
Aleina A — Google review
Octopus burger? Unreal. Barba nails the perfect combo of casual street food and authentic Dalmatian seafood. Fast service, chilled music, and portions that hit the sweet spot after walking the city walls. Get the tuna sandwich and wash it down with a cold local beer. Simple, creative, and spot-on.

Pile Gate

Historical landmark
Pile Gate is a bustling area located just outside Dubrovnik's Stari Grad, known for its historical significance and as the starting point of the city walls walk. The area is home to Fort Lovrijenac, famous for its role in Game of Thrones and its open-air theatre during summer. Pile can get crowded during peak season, but it offers rich history and excellent dining options.
This is old town Dubrovnik. Super interesting, tremendous history, shopping galore and very busy. I have a heart condition but was still able to walk the wall stopping occasionally to take in the view, take pictures and rest. We had a guided tour initially and learned so much history about old town. I recommend taking a tour but with a small group. We were only eight people.
George M — Google review
Absolutely amazing old town! So much to see and do from restaurants, clothing, candy stores, souvenirs. People are very polite and friendly. It was extremely busy but still manageable. No public toilets so best go to a restaurant etc.. have lunch and then you can use the bathrooms. No need to buy tickets as it is Free to walk around. Truly authentic place to visit.
Sheree G — Google review
Walked the city wall. I can't lie.. it took some energy... LOTS of steps..and it took us a couple of hours to walk the full distance but it could be completed in less time. You don't have to do it all in one go as we did: there are various exit and entry points so you can take a break if needs be. My friend and I are in our sixties, not super fit and we managed fine. We just took our time. Also... the wall is well maintained and quite safe as long as you have sensible footwear! Glad we were there in October as it wasn't too hot. Think it would be really tough in height of summer... although there are 3 or 4 refreshment areas on the wall. Cost 40 euros but well worth it. A unique experience and oh the views!!! Nb you can purchase the Dubrovnik Pass for same price which gives you 24 hour access to wall and several other attractions as well as buses.
Lorraine K — Google review
OldTown Dubrovnik is a MUST SEE at least once in a lifetime. It’s a bit crowded with tourists these days due to the popularity of ‘Game of Thrones’ however it offers a plethora of history and incredible architecture as well as many interesting restaurants & bars.
Al B — Google review
Very crowded at most times. Try getting there later in the afternoon when many guided groups are leaving then stay on as darkness falls fie a wonderfully atmospheric experience. No need to buy a pass to enjoy the wonderful streets and harbour. I'd recommend visiting for a day before deciding which length of pass you feel would suit you best.
Pat R — Google review
Fascinating place, a must see. Get the tickets just inside the gate that includes wall and museum passes all together. I think we paid $40 USD a piece. The wall was the best part. If your not in shape, the stairs could be a struggle. Your ticket includes the Modern Art Museum but it total crap....could have just been bad timing.
Lynn S — Google review
Pile Gate is the place where most arrive when visiting Dubrovnik old Town and greets all visitors to this spectacular walled city. Work was ongoing to improve the area and it is clear that this area, although well worth seeing as is, is going to hopefully improve over the forthcoming months. Many local and tour buses arrive at this point but the area appears to be managed in such a way that at the time of our visit, groups and individuals alike were able to get around the area in reasonable comfort. There are many photo opportunities at this site and access to many of the tourist essentials when visiting the city. A must see feature of any visit.
Scott F — Google review
Entrance is free, and it leads straight into the Old Town and city center of Dubrovnik. This is also one of the main gates where you can start walking the city walls. Although it’s very touristic with lots of souvenir shops, stepping through feels like entering a medieval city that still holds its historic charm.

Bar
Buža Bar, also known as the hole-in-the-wall, is a renowned spot in Dubrovnik perched on the cliffs above the Adriatic Sea. It offers an incredible panoramic view of the sea and the historic island of Lokrum. Open only during spring and summer, this bar provides a relaxed atmosphere where visitors can enjoy cold drinks while witnessing stunning sunsets.
Genuinely the most beautiful bar I’ve ever been to. Its’ views of the Adriatic coastline are no short of stunning, and it’s easily accessible from the very streets of inner Dubrovnik. It is absolutely jumping but if you go on the off hour ( 3 or 4 ) you’ll get a seat and you’re welcome to spend as much time as you like. Waitstaff are friendly and intelligent, all of which able to seamlessly speak English, Croatian, and Italian. Absolutely phenomenal place.
Isla K — Google review
Probably the coolest bar we’ve ever been to! The views are absolutely breathtaking, set right on the cliffs overlooking the Adriatic. Not only is it a perfect spot to relax with great drinks, but it’s also an adventure—there are multiple cliff jumping spots and even areas where you can swim directly from the bar. The atmosphere is unmatched, the staff delivers phenomenal customer service, and the overall vibe makes it a must-visit in Dubrovnik. If you’re looking for a mix of relaxation, thrill, and stunning scenery, Buža Bar is the place to be
Frank A — Google review
On the advice of a friend, we left our tour to go find this "secret" gem. It did not disappoint! We found the wall by the sea, kept walking and we saw the opening.! It also has a plaque on the wall which confirmed we were at the right place. It's a fairly small opening. When we got through, the view was amazing, people were coming back up the stairs, so we had to wait our turn, as there is not enough room for more than one person to walk up/down the stairs. The views were spectacular!!!! We just got some drinks and sat down at a table overlooking the sea. Just WOW!!
Deborah A — Google review
Simply put, this is a fun bar. The clientele appeared to be primarily young people, but as a retired couple we didn’t feel out of place. It was a distinct difference from the tourists that crowd the inside of the walls. We saw this place when we took the walk around the top of the walls and so later decided to try and find it which wasn’t difficult with Google maps. You go to the small bar for service and are greeted by young guys who seem to have had their share of experiences in life. They’re friendly and efficient. Beers and drinks come quickly. The seating is at multiple levels on the rocks outside of the famous walls and the views are incredible. There were quite a few sunbathers lower down and others either jumping from the rocks and/or swimming in the crystal-clear water. We had planned to just have one drink, but the laid-back ambiance led to us staying for quite a while. Since seating can be quite limited we shared our table with a couple from Calgary, Canada which led to great conversations while watching the sun set over the water. Just an overall tremendously relaxing experience!

Greatest sunset atmosphere and if you want, can join in tbe cliff diving. or just enjoy watching people. Music is played and sunset view is top. Going back again when i visit.
Paul L — Google review
Buža Bar – Such a cool spot, tucked through a little hole in the city wall that suddenly opens out to these incredible cliffside views. 🌊 We came mid afternoon and it was packed. You do have to fight for a chair but it's worth it, it really is something special, looking straight out to the Adriatic and Lokrum. The bar itself is very basic – drinks are a little pricey, and there isn’t much in the way of food – but honestly the location more than makes up for it. It does get super busy, so definitely come a bit earlier if you want a good seat. A few of us did some swimming and even jumped off the cliff. A bit rustic, a bit chaotic, but the views are unforgettable – absolutely worth a visit!
Hannah F — Google review
Nice place located on the old city walls to the south of the city. One of two cliff top bars which are pleasant places to spend some time relaxing whilst exploring the city. Good service and great views across the sea. Will be busy in summer months so probably best to go in the morning to have the best chance of grabbing a seat.

Fort Lovrijenac, also known as St. Lawrence Fortress, is a 16th-century seaside fortress located in Dubrovnik. It was built to protect the city from Venetian occupiers during the Republic of Ragusa era. The fortress stands on a 37-meter-high rock and is the only freestanding part of Dubrovnik's fortification system. Visitors with tickets for the Walls of Dubrovnik tour can enter Fort Lovrijenac for free.
It’s included the Dubrovnik pass. So don’t forget to buy your Dubrovnik pass online in advance. Of course it’s also the filming location of famous TV series “ Game of Thrones “. It’s very easy to find the path. Behind the bus stops you can find a sign, then follow the crowd, you will find it, only take about 10 to reach the Fort Lovijenac entrance. When you walk in, you will feel like you’re walking into the medieval castle but they also have a like 80, 90s toilet inside the fort.
貝瑞克(Markpigpapa) — Google review
This is yet another site that's included within the Dubrovnik pass (Foundry museum also) despite it not being mentioned as included on the website. Always best to ask at every place if included. For sure you get good views from this Fort, but there's nothing else here. If I had to pay for this by itself I probably wouldn't go, but it gives you another perspective on the old town that you don't get from the Walls.
Miles M — Google review
We didn’t go into Fort Lovrijenac, but just wandering around the outside was totally worth it. Perched dramatically on a 37-meter-high cliff, the fortress looks like something out of a fantasy novel—no wonder it was used in Game of Thrones! The surrounding area offers stunning views of the Adriatic Sea, the city walls, and Old Town Dubrovnik. It’s a great spot to take photos, catch your breath, and soak in the atmosphere. The climb up is a bit of a workout, but the scenery makes it feel like a reward. If you’re short on time or just want to enjoy the vibe without a ticket, hanging around outside is a solid choice.
Laurence H — Google review
If you’re planning a trip to Croatia, Dubrovnik’s City Walls (the iconic filming location for Game of Thrones) isn’t just a “must-visit”—it’s the kind of spot that hits you with wow-factor before you even step foot inside. The second our bus wound down the hillside toward the city, we craned our necks to spot the castle spires peeking over the rooftops, and then—bam—the Adriatic Sea stretched out beyond, sparkling so bright it felt like someone had dumped a bucket of sunlight on the water. For the price of admission? Total steal. Dubrovnik itself is a little world of its own—no empty “tourist trap” vibes here, just a living, breathing city where locals go about their days alongside travelers. Wander the streets below the walls and you’ll stumble on cozy eateries serving up classic Western fare: al dente pasta tossed in fresh tomato sauce, flaky grilled fish that tastes like the sea, and juicy roasted meats (think herb-rubbed, not the Chinese-style barbeque we’re used to). Gelato shops are everywhere too—perfect for cooling down after exploring—and souvenir stalls overflow with treasures, from quirky aprons and keychains to delicate necklaces, so you can grab a little piece of Dubrovnik to take home. The real magic, though, is the wall walk itself. You have to climb a bit to get up there, but trust me—it’s worth every step. The path winds around the city, offering postcard-perfect views at every turn: terracotta rooftops cascading down to the sea, distant islands dotting the horizon, and glimpses of hidden courtyards below. We made the mistake of rushing (thanks to dark clouds threatening rain), but even then, every quick photo we snapped looked like it belonged in a travel magazine. Do yourself a favor: take it slow. The full loop takes about 3 hours, and lingering to soak in the scenery—no hurry, no stress—would make it even more amazing.
Egeria T — Google review
St. Lawrence Fortress, Italian Fortezza di San Lorenzo, often called "Dubrovnik's Gibraltar". 37 m (121 ft) above sea level. Possible construction dates; 1018 or 1038, but first records of the forts existence are from 1301. The thickness of the outside walls is 12 metres (39 ft). The inscription above the gate reads: Liberty Cannot Be Sold for All The Gold in the World. Curiously the gun on the top terrace is made in Cremona. This is the Red Keep in the King's Landing from Game of Thrones.
Vadim S — Google review
We went to the fortress only because we had a daily pass, otherwise it’s not worth to pay 15€. The view is really amazing, but you don’t really need to go inside, you can just climb up the stairs, take a picture and that’s all. You can see the very same things (and even more and for longer) on the city walls.
Kasia R — Google review
If the walls are Dubrovnik’s crown, this fortress is its heart. Perched dramatically on a 37-metre cliff, it once guarded the city from Venetian attack. Inside you’ll recognise Game of Thrones filming spots (the Red Keep scenes), but beyond that the history is incredible - its walls still carry Latin inscriptions warning enemies to keep their distance. Visit around 5 PM for perfect light over the Adriatic.
Neel B — Google review
Good views but underwhelming overall. The climb up to the fort is fairly steep, and there isn’t much information or signage once you arrive, which can make the visit feel a bit empty if you’re not with a guide. While the panoramic views of Dubrovnik and the sea are beautiful, and Game of Thrones fans might appreciate seeing famous filming spots, there’s not a lot to actually do inside. If you enjoy history or photography it’s pleasant, but without extra context or a tour, the experience is rather basic for the entry ticket.

Gruž Market is a lively outdoor market located approximately two miles northwest of the old town. It offers a variety of fresh local seasonal fruit, vegetables, seafood, and flowers. The market starts early in the morning with fresh seafood available from 6:00 am and a wide selection of produce from local farmers. Visitors are advised to arrive early to get the best selection as things start winding down after 8:00 am and by 10:00 am, most vendors are wrapping up.
A small farmers market where locals seem to go for fresh vegetables and fruit. Is not big but most of the items are organic and produced locally. There's a small fish market next to it but by the time we got there there were cleaning it. You need to be there early to capture the locals buying their vegetables. Is right opposite Gurz port

Cute little farmers market, nothing flash but very authentic. Amazing fresh vegetables and a few nice homemade items like arancini and jams. If you're in the area, it's worth stopping by early in the day!

We were there on a Monday morning and there was not much open. Locals later explained that it is closer to weekend before all stalls will be filled. I would avoid going if is not Friday, Saturday or Sunday.
DKCH I — Google review
Cute market. Has a variety of vegetables. I’d shop here all the time but I’m pretty sure the locals severely over charge me. I don’t mind paying a bit more as tourist but it’s much more expensive than the grocery store, unfortunately. It might depend who you buy from. Sometimes the prices are reasonable. Still worth checking out if you’re staying nearby.

Very tiny market, but the produce looks fresh! You have to visit during the morning or you will get there too late for the supplies. People are friendly and nice. Have a stroll and get in touch with real locals. There are toilets near the market as well, important to know.
Eldar — Google review
The best green market in Dubrovnik with a wide range of fresh fish, vegetables, fruit, flowers and other local products from local farmers and artisans.
Desa K — Google review
That is the market. There are fish, vegetables, fruits and flowers. There are fresh seafood caught in the nearby sea. Seafood starts at 6:00. You should go as early as possible in the morning. It will decrease after 8:00. There is almost finish at 10:00. Start time of vegetables is a little late. There are no pesticide farmers. It is fresh.
MASARU S — Google review
Absolutely strange and useless market. Very high prices, hyper high! How do the locals buy for that kind of money? In June, all fruits are 8-10 € per kg: peaches, cherries (we washed them at home and half of them were spoiled). No choice at all. We were there on Friday and they said that there is a big choice for the weekend. Fish. How do the locals buy fish for 16 € per kg? In Finland, I buy dorado for 19.90 €. But they bring it to us thousands of km. And here it is in the sea, catch as much as you want. Very disappointed. Don't waste your time. The situation with fruits is bad in Dubrovnik. There is none! The worst place ever! Nice, all Italy are the Paradise of fish and fruit markets!

Pizza restaurant
Pizzeria Tabasco, located near Dubrovnik Old Town between Ploce and Buza gates, is a popular spot among locals for its delicious and affordable pizzas. The down-to-earth atmosphere adds to the charm of this place, making it feel like dining in someone's home. With a variety of toppings and flavors available, including the popular Dubrovnik, Siciliana, and Ragusa pizzas, there's something to satisfy every pizza lover.
Insanely good pizza! Got a half and half with the Dubrovnik and dalmatian pizzas and they were both amazing! Paid 18 euros which is reasonable by Dubrovnik prices! Staff were amazing too, I literally waited 5 minutes between my order and getting my pizza! Highly recommend!
Jake L — Google review
Food 7️⃣ The pizza was hugeee, a bit too salty but still decent. The kebab lasagna was good, I prefer this. Staff 🔟 Very friendly and welcoming. Atmosphere 9️⃣ The outdoor garden was charming, they have parking available.
Duong T — Google review
Pizzeria Tabasco is a great spot just outside the Dubrovnik city walls and an excellent choice if you want quality food without the high prices inside the Old Town. The pizza was delicious with very large portions, and pairing it with a cold beer made for the perfect meal. The outdoor atmosphere was really nice and relaxed, making it a great place to enjoy a casual bite. Much more affordable than eating inside the walls, yet the food and experience were fantastic. Definitely recommend if you’re craving pizza in Dubrovnik!
Frank A — Google review
The Good: * Service was fast; the pizza arrived in less than 10 minutes. * Excellent, reliable wifi. * The pizza was served hot with a fresh. * The iced tea was standout—perfectly brewed and refreshing. The Bad: * The pizza was overwhelmingly salty. * Toppings were sparse, specifically the arugula and olives (there were literally only two olives). * Priced at €17.50, it felt overpriced for the ingredient generosity. The Verdict: A decent, fast meal if you're in a pinch and need good wifi. However, for the price, the lack of balance and scant toppings make it a poor value. You're paying for the convenience, not the craftsmanship. The service was OK and effecient, nobody was rude from the all-male staff.

Found this little gem while walking around. I went for the lasagna which tasted beautiful. The staff were lovely and I liked restaurant. It was too hot and humid to sit outside so choose to sit inside with the aircon. I'd definitely come back here again and try something else from the menu.

We came here twice! It has everything: good food, great service, fair prices, good music and ambience The portion sizes are great! Exceptional value for money! We ate the greek salad, lasagna and pizza and it was all delicious!

Great service, and above all, the 19-inch pinky pizza is out of this world. Wonderfully spicy salami, parmesan and gorgonzola with a tasty dough. Air conditioned inside or sit on the terrace. The terrace just has a view of the parking lot. We opted for a table inside.

A saviour on a very hungry night! The jumbo pizzas are actually jumbo sized 🙃 enough for 2/3 people. They were great and the service was very pleasant even at closing time.

Cafe Bar Orlando is a lovely spot to enjoy delicious cocktails and people watch before dinner. The waiters are friendly, and the drinks like the strawberry pineapple mojito and mango colada are scrumptious. While it may be a bit pricey, the experience is definitely worth it. They also offer tasty sandwiches, with the avocado sandwich being well-made and flavorful despite being on the pricier side.
Excellent cakes, ice-cream and coffee. Service is very polite, helpful and prompt. They went out of their way to customize our coffee. We had a great time.

The dough of this pizza was thin and crispy. Cheese was so fresh and wet, that made this pizza one of my favorite tastes. We waited for this order a few minutes. Pleasant waiter brought us coffee and pizza. Thank you for this dinner.
Maria S — Google review
Yes, the prices are a bit high, but I think that's normal because it's in the best part of Old Town. I've traveled a lot in Europe. Service is usually poor in touristy places, but here the service was excellent. The staff was friendly and the service was fast. The aperol was really good!!! I really enjoyed my stay here.🌸

With an awareness that prices can be higher in touristy areas, we choose to sit down at Orlando on a lovely evening on the Stradun purely for location and people watching purposes. We were pleasantly surprised. The prices seemed fair (6 euros for a pint), and the service was actually wonderful. Antonio, our server, was gregarious and kept us laughing all night (and he gave excellent rakija suggestions as well). Great soundtrack playing too. Overall, we were very happy with the visit.

We had a really nice sandwich here and a drink. However we found in expensive €89 including €13.45 of service for 3 sandwiches and 4 drinks. The avocado sandwich was an open top one with one slice of bread, but it was well made and tasty.
Zoe ( — Google review
Some of the best cocktails we had in Old town. The Liquid tobacco was pure power. Defo worth a visit in the late evening. Prices are similar to most places here.

We ate by far the worst pizza at this location. Correction, we weren’t able to eat. We just took some nibbles because it was not edible. If I wanted to make my first pizza at home, I think it would’ve turned out to be better than this one. When we told the waiter that this was the worst pizza we’ve had, he said OK.

Vege Dub

Vegetarian restaurant
Vege Dub is a charming spot located in the heart of Old Town, just around the corner from Stradun, Dubrovnik's main street. The restaurant prides itself on offering fresh and healthy street food made from locally sourced ingredients. Their daily trips to the market ensure that only the best local products are used in their modern and tasty dishes. Whether you're a vegetarian or not, Vege Dub has plenty of delicious options with good portion sizes at fair prices for the area.
Great service, super tasty vegan food, good prices, and generous portion sizes. We came here several times. They have their own vegan/vegetarian menu. There’s also a burger restaurant next door that you can order from, so both vegans/vegetarians and meat-eaters can enjoy a meal together
Maren E — Google review
As a vegetarian, it is hard to find good food and this place really hit the mark! I had the gyros made with a fake chicken alternative, fresh pita and veges, served with carrot fries. Really good! I know i will go back during my trip
Juliette J — Google review
This hit the spot. Definitely greasy, but that was a selling point. Great chewy texture and plenty of flavor from the sauce and veggies. The sweet potato fries were fantastic. Large portion sizes (we couldn’t finish it all).

Vege dub is sooo fire 🔥 We got there, we were sat down and the menus are right there. It’s a mix of meat and Veg options. I got the Gyro and lemme tell you… it was Delicious. Came with fries which were the perfect side to the perfect dish. You won’t be disappointed coming here.
Fabian A — Google review
Excellent vegan food in the heart of Dubrovnik 🩷 My pita sandwich was very good, and these might have been the best sweet potato fries I’ve eaten 🫶🏻 The tables are situated in a very small street, which makes the experience even more climatic. Very good service too!
Aurora M — Google review
Not a purely vegetarian restaurant anymore – it seems to have merged with the neighboring place and now also serves meat. No Pizzas anymore. That said, they still offer a clear vegetarian menu, and on request, every dish could be made vegan, although this wasn’t visible from the menu itself. Unfortunately, the waitress was unfriendly and seemed rather annoyed. On the positive side, the portions were really big and very tasty. All in all, a good spot for vegetarians and vegans right in the heart of Dubrovnik.
Neil S — Google review
So happy to find a vegetarian establishment. The gyro with sweet potato fries were delicious! Wouldn't say no to one more visit before we leave Dubrovnik...
Prapti P — Google review
Expensive like everything in Dubrovnik BUT both options we ordered were very very tasty. We had the vegan Gyros and the vegan BBQ pulled beeflike and both were AMAZING. The beef tasted so meaty we were unsure about it being vegan for a second. Highly recommend. Service is not very friendly and be careful about the prices of the drinks but we loved the food so much we went back there a second time. They said they can make everything on their menu vegan.

Restaurant
Bistro Glorijet is a charming restaurant located just a few kilometers from Dubrovnik's Old Town, adjacent to the fish and farmers market at the main port, Gruz. It prides itself on serving the freshest fish and produce of the day, making it popular among locals for brunch. The friendly owner is known for offering off-menu items like various types of fish or beef tartare.
Just lovely. Returned here 3 times over a 6-day trip in Dubrovnik. The fish soup is incredible; I tried six different fish soups across six different restaurants in Dubrovnik and Glorijet's is the best. The grilled mullet is also particularly good. The portion sizes are large, so you will never leave the restaurant hungry!
Sophie — Google review
Great food and really good service. Unfortunately there is no outside seating but the inside of the restaurant is beautiful. The staff was very helpful and attentive. We ordered the risotto and the seafood pasta and both dishes were really great.
Corinne G — Google review
We do not recommend this establishment, a divorce for tourists. Very expensive, yesterday we literally ate by the sea and the beach and paid 57 euros for 4 dishes. Here we ordered fish soup, where there were a million seasonings in the broth and a couple of pieces of fish, boiled vegetables were potatoes and zucchini and something else I do not understand, everything was boiled and somehow chopped. The fish was generally tasteless, cold potatoes and onions were somehow chopped. A glass of water was understood as a bottle of water for which we paid 4 euros. In general, there were many pensioners, no young people except us, the prices are really very, very expensive. There was a lot of oil in absolutely all dishes, especially in the boiled 3 vegetables.
Diana S — Google review
Compared to the neighboring countries such as Italy, Montenegro and Albania, the food is below average but prices are very high. Unless you want to eat in this tourist destination town, you can find much better seafood restaurants in other countries like Albania.
Tiago — Google review
Way overpriced and the food was awful. The fish soup was just water with spices and a couple of tiny fish pieces. Vegetables were tasteless, overcooked, and oily. Even water was charged 4 euros. Everything felt cheap in quality but absurdly expensive. Total disappointment.
Stefan G — Google review
Very nice fresh seafood and very attentive staff, I didn’t had issue with them at all. I would say the atmosphere reminded me of man club, so many Croatia man there that for some European women it might feel a bit outside of the comfort zone. Didn’t liked that group of men next to us tried to take selfies with us on the background without notifying us, tried to chat us up in very weird manner. So hence I rated the atmosphere 3 out of 5 as maybe restaurant owner need to give some comments to his mates next time they plan to act like never seen women before! In terms of food, food was great and really good suggestion on the wine too. Food is pricey but it’s everywhere in Dubrovnik pretty similar prices.
Victoria M — Google review
1. The seafood risotto (charged at EUR22) was not properly cooked and the rice was too hard to be eaten, I had digestive problem after eating… 2. The mussels (charged at EUR 17) were extremely tiny, with unpleasant texture that is difficult to be swallowed. The smallest mussels I have ever eaten in a proper restaurant. especially in Europe. 3. Overall, the only 2 dishes that I ordered in this restaurant are both at unacceptable condition. So far this is the worst restaurant I ever tried in Dubrovnik…
Traveller S — Google review
I ordered small fried fish and was surprised with the price compared to the quality of the food. The fish was very crispy and tasty. The staff were friendly. However, my friend was disappointed when he ordered the fish and chips, it did not have any tasty fish. The area is fantastic but so small.

Restaurant Panorama offers breathtaking views of Dubrovnik, situated atop a mountain and overlooking the Old Town and the Adriatic Sea. It is part of the Nautika Collection, which includes two other remarkable restaurants in Dubrovnik. The restaurant provides an enchanting dining experience with typical Croatian cuisine, including meat, fish, pasta, pizza, and risotto. To secure a table with a view, it's advisable to make reservations in advance or visit during off-peak hours.
A very special experience. We managed to get front row seats by booking our reservation at off peak hours of 4:30pm as a group of 14. Our server Peter was amazing and they have a large staff who are very attentive. The food and cocktail presentation were divine! The views are incredible. Everyone in our group was delighted with their meal. A meal to remember!

Worth the price. The food was also delicious with an amazing view. They upgraded us to a front row view too which made the experience even better. Make sure to book well in advance to get a good seat and time. Staff were attentive. Check on the day whether it’s cheaper to get a taxi or the cable car up as we found taxis to be same price as a round trip.
Halle W — Google review
Don’t miss this gem. We were really looked after well after our hike up the mountain. The service is brilliant, food delicious and the views are incredible! There’s a varied menu to choose from and prices are good value considering the location and quality of food. The chairs are not very comfortable which is a shame as it would have been nice to relax more. Take a jacket or similar as it can be breezy up there. Make sure you book for food, but you can enjoy a drink at the bar otherwise.
Tracy H — Google review
From start to finish, our experience at Panorama was absolutely incredible. The staff were attentive and welcoming, making the whole evening feel special. The view at sunset overlooking the city is breathtaking, and the food matched the scenery — full of flavor and beautifully presented. We shared the ribeye with an extra side of vegetables, and it was simply spectacular. Drinks were equally as beautiful & incredible! A must-visit for anyone looking for amazing food paired with unforgettable views.
Chelsey C — Google review
Although this was definitely the most expensive of our meals (due to being reached by cable car), not many, if any, could offer a similar view. We arranged our visit to coincide with sunset, several months before and we were not disappointed, nor were we with the food. Selection, service and quality were all exceptional, as well as the waiters knowledge of the wine list. This is definitely an experience worth doing and one that will stay with you forever.

Need i say more? What's not to love? This restaurant is awesome. We took the cable car up-what a fantastic little trip with views to die for. We were early so we sat and listened to the live music at the amphitheater type setting while enjoying a drink. Servers were engaging, they were friendly and helpful. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was spot on!!! Almost forgot to mention...we had the best seats, with no unobstructed views of the city!

Absolutely stunning view over Dubrovnik - truly breathtaking! You can see the old town on one side and the mountains of Bosnia on the other. The food was okay, but the drinks were delicious. We asked to change our table, and the staff kindly moved us without any problem. Honestly, it’s worth coming here just for the view - it’s that amazing!

Bota Šare Oyster & Sushi Bar is a must-visit in Dubrovnik, offering an exquisite dining experience. The restaurant is renowned for its use of the best local bluefin tuna, shrimp, and shellfish to create beautifully presented sushi, sashimi, carpaccio, and tartare.
This was one of the best lunches we had in Dubrovnik, and much better sushi than some of the other places in town. The oysters were so delicious, we ordered a second dozen. The cocktails were also fantastic! All seven people in our party had a wonderful experience. Highly recommend this place when visiting the area.

Proper loved this place. Amil from Bota was cute and witty and took really good care of us despite it being a really warm day. We had amazing oysters, sushi, gins and tonic and Prosecco. Everything was beautifully prepared and the sushi was soooo fresh. It was in a lovely location only one minute away from where we were staying which was a bonus. We had a lovely birthday lunch

Great sushi spot in Old Town Dubrovnik! The fish was very fresh and prices were fair considering the usual Old Town markup. Definitely book a reservation in advance—otherwise you could be waiting 20–35 minutes for a cancellation or no-show. Worth the stop if you’re craving sushi in Dubrovnik.

We came across Bota Šare Oyster & Sushi Bar thanks to a local recommendation, and we’re so glad we went. It was also our very first time trying oysters – and what a perfect place to do so! The staff were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, attentive without ever being pushy. The oysters were fresh and delicious, and the sushi was beautifully prepared. On top of that, we got a great recommendation for a local Croatian wine that paired perfectly with the meal. The setting itself is lovely, tucked away in a side street of Dubrovnik, which adds to the charm. All in all, this place is a definite recommendation! 🦪

Japanese Restaurant — Fresh fish, warm service, and a cozy coastal twist—this spot blends Japanese flavors with Dubrovnik’s laid-back vibe. ⸻ 🍣 Food & Presentation – ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✨ Fresh ingredients, especially the salmon. Nicely plated and appetizing in a simple, elegant way. 🧑‍🍳 Service & Hospitality – ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Outstanding staff with genuine attentiveness. They read the room well, chat naturally, and add charm to the meal with small friendly gestures. 🪷 Ambience – ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✨ More Mediterranean than Japanese, but calm and pleasant. Indoor air feels perfect in autumn, enhancing the relaxed dining mood. 💶 Value for Money – ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Reasonable pricing for the quality and experience offered. 📍 Location & Accessibility – ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Easy access from the north gate of Old Town, though slightly uphill if coming from other areas. ⸻ Highly recommended if you want a break from Mediterranean cuisine and are craving good Asian (Japanese) food in Dubrovnik.

We came for the oysters and stayed for everything else. The fresh oysters were top-tier—clean, briny, and exactly what you hope for in Dubrovnik. We ordered a full spread: amberjack ceviche, tuna nigiri, nigiri hot sake, spicy tuna roll, salmon skin roll, agemaki fantasy, and the fried Philadelphia roll. Everything was very good, but three things stood out: the oysters, the spicy tuna roll, and the fried Philadelphia. Those were next-level. Staff were genuinely friendly—not just polite, but actually warm and helpful. No attitude, no rush. They made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. If you’re in Dubrovnik and want fresh seafood with a Japanese twist, this place delivers. No gimmicks, just solid food and good people.

Disco club
Culture Club Revelin is a vibrant party spot located within a medieval fortress in Dubrovnik. The club hosts renowned DJs, Croatian and international singers, and disco groups, offering an eclectic mix of music genres from jazz to contemporary hits. The 16th-century fortress provides a unique backdrop for the club's state-of-the-art light shows and lively atmosphere.
An Epic Night at Culture Club Revelin – A Must-Visit in Dubrovnik! As a world traveler always looking for unforgettable nightlife experiences, Culture Club Revelin in Dubrovnik blew me away. Tucked inside a centuries-old fortress within the Old Town walls, this place perfectly blends ancient architecture with modern techno vibes. It’s like partying inside a medieval castle—but with bass that hits you in the chest and lights that make the stone walls come alive. I went with a group of friends, and the energy was electric from the moment we walked in. Cold drinks were flowing, the crowd was international and lively, and the DJs delivered nonstop beats that kept us dancing deep into the night. The sound system? Crystal clear and powerful. The lighting? Pure visual magic. And the venue layout—with stone arches, high ceilings, and balcony views—made it feel surreal. If you’re in Dubrovnik and looking to experience the heartbeat of its nightlife, Culture Club Revelin is THE place to be. Dance, drink, and soak in the vibes inside one of the most unique clubs in Europe.
Alan — Google review
Could have perhaps been a slow evening, but was not overly impressed by the club. I had very high expectations since there are multiple sources indicating the club is one of the top in the world, so after paying the 20 euro cover (doesn't matter what time you go), we walked into a relatively empty club. It filled up a little bit, but never got anywhere close to capacity so it felt less exciting than if it had been packed. It was a Saturday so expected a fuller crowd. The music was a bit drab from the local djs, I'm sure some of the shows are great but it felt somewhat repetitive. The sound was decent, albeit not of world class speaker caliber. The cave effect was experiential. There was too much room reserved for VIP, which was largely unused. We did get to experience it briefly though, but it didn't feel very VIP, it was more exciting on the dance floor. Best part about the club was the drink prices. Not sure what other reviewers experienced, but drinks were 7 euros??? Super cheap and very happy about that.
Rob L — Google review
Let's start with how the club looks like - because it's something very unique of this place and I liked it a lot. I've never seen a club that's been built in walls that have over 500 years - just WOW. If you're (even a bit) a "club person" - it's definitely worth to see it while visiting Dubrovnik. I visited it at the beginning of October and I'm not sure if it was because weather was bad on that day or because it was Sunday, but there were just few people inside - we came at 10:40pm, stayed until 1am and there were like 8 people at maximum, so we didn't really have that much fun and we're not gonna visit Dubrovnik again for sure, so that's a quite downside, but it's not the Revelin Club fault. I have to take one star out because the prices for the cocktails are really high and I don't really care if it's everywhere in Croatia like that, because there are bars nearby where you can get the same drinks for 1/5 of the price. I saw people complained about different prices which vary if you buy it at the entrance or online - if you read reviews first and then go somewhere... you know everything and you're prepared. I had my tickets bought online in advance and there were no issues according to this in my situation.
Kuba Z — Google review
We went to Club Revelin and the music was truly amazing — the DJ set was on point and the venue itself is absolutely stunning, located inside a historic fortress with a fantastic vibe. However, a few things really took away from the experience: 1. The club was overcrowded, which made it difficult to enjoy the dance floor. 2. Too many overly drunk people — it affected the atmosphere. 3. There was no dress code at all, which might be fine for some, but I personally feel some level of standards would elevate the experience. 🎟️ Another issue: we asked for the entrance fee around 8 p.m., and were told it would be €25, but later we were charged €35 without clear explanation. 🍹 As for drinks, they are cheap, but we had a problem — we were waiting for a table, and a waiter offered to bring us drinks. When he returned with the card reader, the screen showed €30, but the bill was actually €23 (he had quickly hidden it). Luckily, I saw it and pointed it out, and he corrected it and apologized. All in all, it’s an incredible venue with great music, but the crowd management, transparency, and overall service need improvement to match the quality of the place.

Decided to visit the club after seeing Dj Ferreck Dawn was playing while I was visiting Dubrovnik with my (older teenage kids). So glad we did after reading some negative reviews which almost put us off but I’m so glad they didn’t. There was a good crowd as you might expect for a top Dj appearance but personally I felt the resident Djs did a fantastic job warming up. While I’m not a massive fan of vip areas in dance clubs, I appreciate they are part of the experience now in the more exotic locations, where you can park a yacht nearby but they are clearly marked and it would be hard to accidentally sit there and be charged unexpectedly, in my opinion. The club has a very decent sound system and lighting/av setup and friendly and professional staff including the waiters who roam the club offering bottle service without being pushy. Bar staff were fast and friendly. The room itself and the overall setting the club is in, just to the side of the old harbour in Dubrovnik makes it really quite special in my opinion. Check the listings and if there is a house Dj on who you want to see don’t hesitate to go. The only negative for me was the standing tables on the dance floor, I just don’t feel they should be there and discourage people who want to dance from doing so in my opinion. If you want a bucket of champagne, drink it around the edges of the dance floor, not in the middle of it.

Really cool dancing place inside the wall of the city. The drinks are super expensive in my opinion. Good tip sometimes after 3PM is free entrance. Good if you just want to see the place and leave.

The cover is quite expensive, but it was worth it. We are a group of students and we had a great time, money will come and go but this experience was unforgetable! The only complaint we had were the bathrooms, the ladies room in the VIP had no doors that could lock properly so we had to hold the door on our own, considering the prices are high we expected to at least be able to pee in peace. When we tried the other bathrooms it was even worse, water all over the floor and no toilet paper, however the reason we are leaving 5 stars is definetly the staff, the girls at the entrance gave us some helpful tips to save money and we have to give the biggest thanks to the readhead girl who took photos with us, danced with us and posted us on the revelin instagram page, thank you you made our night❤️

Best club I’ve been to and I don’t even like clubbing, it’s more like a cultural experience It’s situated in the 16th century castle, music is mostly house, after like 1am they started playing really popular nice songs, like songs from Lady Gaga, and some other cool ones Also the people here are all really nice, mostly tourists, but everyone is rather friendly Entry is 20€

Nestled in the heart of Dubrovnik's old town, Restaurant 360 is a culinary gem that offers a truly elevated dining experience. Boasting the city's only Michelin star, this restaurant is renowned for its innovative cuisine and breathtaking panoramic views of the sea from its rooftop terrace. The menu features creative tasting options, including vegetarian selections, and an extensive wine list showcasing locally-made wines.
Food was really well executed. This is the kind of meal you don't want to swallow because of the explosion of flavor in your mouth needs to be savored. Service was exactly what a Michelin star restaurant should be, flawless. From food runner to sommelier: perfection. And that view, if you take your eyes off the table, its breathtaking. This experience is a must if you are visiting Dubrovnik.

Maybe the best restaurant here! We were so fortunate to choose 360 for our anniversary dinner. The food was excellent — some of the dishes were among the best we’ve ever had. The view of the city walls was amazing. Loki was our server, and he was so kind and attentive, taking care of every detail. The sommelier lady also did a great job — sorry, I forgot her name. We will definitely come again!

Booked a few weeks prior to visiting Dubrovnik, and located within the city walls. The restaraunt is located below the street entry, at port level but not open to the port view. A very nice atmosphere inside and incredible service from the moment you arrive. As you would expect from. A Michelin star restaurant, the food is superb and a real treat. Needing little description as to have a Michelin star it is always going to be very special. A choice between "S" 1st or 2nd, main & desert, "M" 1st, 2nd & main, or "L" 1st, 2nd, main & desert. Or the al a carter option. The food is plentiful, served with perfectly cooked bread, and book ended with an appetiser and petit fours, so the "L" option involves a lot of food. The service is exemplary and a big part of the experience, making the whole thing extra special. I gave 4 stars, purely on the basis of price. I understood the pricing before I went, and was happy to pay for an amazing experience, but as with everything inside the city walls the cost does seem excessive. However, I understand that to run a restaurant like this requires a lot of good staff and expertise so this is just an observation and didn't detract from a great food experience.

First of all I have a severe allergy concern regarding most nuts, I sat in a table of three and the staff/restaurant was able to accommodate very accordingly to my situation and gave me all nut-free options so that I could have as good of an experience as my family. The service was exceptional, kind and helpful with such care given to us with every dish served, each course was given a perfect amount of time in between and the staff were very friendly and down-to-earth. The food. Next level stuff with absolute respect given to each element of every dish. The presentation, textures, flavour and overall taste was above all else. I am left wanting more even though I am full. 360Dubrovnik was a very tasteful experience that is served to the finest of qualities, though a hefty price tag, the food and overall quality of this restaurant is worth every penny. Highly recommend and would definitely come back again.

First visit and first night in Dubrovnik - wanted to start with something rather special. Followed many delighted customer experiences here at 360° and we became two more of them! What can I say, fabulous view from our table looking over the harbour during sunset, excellent service from the sommelier and the food service team, in particular....Nicole! I have to say, I had a pina colada to experience how this Michenlin star restaurant would present this popular coctail and I was not left disappointed! Pure class! The food - just exquisite, we had the chefs taster menu! The presentation was like a work of art and flavours were just incredible! All ingredients complimenting each other beautifully! We will return! Let the pictures do the talking!

I managed to snag a front-row outdoor table for one at 6 p.m. on Saturday, 11 October, at the last minute — just a week in advance. I was so lucky! The pre-authorization of the credit card was straightforward, and no money was charged. When I arrived, the maître d’ seated me promptly. The view was spectacular! Overall, the service was immaculate. I ordered the small portion — one appetizer, one main dish, and one dessert — which cost €138. My lemonade-based mocktail was wonderfully refreshing. For a one-star Michelin restaurant in Europe, the price for such exquisite food was very reasonable and worthwhile.

A beautiful city, a beautiful location, and incredibly friendly service. While on vacation, for my husband's birthday, the staff arranged a table for us without a reservation. A degustation menu was available in three sizes. We felt exceptionally welcomed. Dubrovnik, Restaurant 360... we'll be back, it's worth it! The food is delicious.

This was our first stop for dinner on our honeymoon and it was exceptional. The atmosphere of the restaurant is unlike any other dining experience you will have. The service staff was top notch. Even though we did not do the tasting menu - our entire meal was set up in the style of one! Their menu has some of the freshest fish we have ever had - very clear as to why this place has 1 Michelin star. Thank you for one of the best dining experiences!

Burger Tiger is a diner-style restaurant in Dubrovnik that serves delicious burgers and fries. The burgers are big and mean, and the fries are crispy. The restaurant has a retro style, and the couches are brightly coloured and comfortable. The food is good, but the servings can be large so it's important to order wisely. The restaurant also has hot sauce which is very hot!
Awesome place to grab a quick meal after finishing your Dubrovnik wall tour. Burger and chicken wings along with French fries were tasty. Tummy full finally since we were hungry. Highly recommended!

Burger was rather large and well made. Eating it was a bit messy! Fries were homemade and well done. Lots of sauces/ketchup provided. The Buffalo Wings were small and dry, not worth the money. Overall, it was a good place for a quick meal, in a great central old-town location, a bit overpriced as all of its surrounding places, especially the drinks.

Poklisar Restaurant is a charming Mediterranean dining spot located in the Old Port of Dubrovnik. The restaurant offers outdoor seating, perfect for enjoying the bustling atmosphere and people-watching. Visitors can take advantage of discounts with the Dubrovnik Card, which provides savings on various attractions. The menu features delectable options such as authentic Italian-style pizza, flavorful garlic flatbreads, and a Croatian meat and cheese platter showcasing local delicacies.
This place was great. We had live music while we dined in a picturesque atmosphere. The food was excellent. We had the tempura shrimp and the lobster pasta. Both were fantastic and lots of lobster in the pasta. Nice wines available by the glass as well. Service was amazing as well and very friendly. You should definitely eat here.

If you’re in Dubrovnik and want a meal that’s actually worth your time and money, go to Poklisar. The setting is stunning right on the harbour, with views of the old town and boats bobbing in the water. There’s often live music in the evenings which just adds to the atmosphere without being too loud. The food is incredible. We had the black cuttlefish risotto and the seafood tagliatelle – both absolutely packed with fresh, local seafood and full of flavour. You can tell everything is made with care and nothing feels overcomplicated or pretentious. Portions are generous too. The service is just as good as the food. The staff are friendly, attentive and genuinely welcoming. Nothing feels rushed, and they make great wine recommendations without trying to upsell you. Honestly, skip all the overpriced “fine dining” spots in town. Poklisar is far better, you’ll leave happy, satisfied, and without feeling like you’ve been ripped off. We’ll definitely be back.

We had such an amazing time at Poklisar restaurant during our trip to Croatia! The food was absolutely delicious, the views of the harbor and mountains were out of this world, and the staff were incredibly kind and accommodating —they really made us feel so special. If you’re visiting, definitely try to book the hidden terrace by the sea—it’s the perfect spot to soak in the stunning views while you enjoy your meal. For us as a couple, this was one of those unforgettable experiences that just felt magical. Great food, great vibes, and an overall dreamy setting. Highly recommend! ❤️

We visited Poklisar last Wednesday evening & it was a lovely experience. We weren’t able to secure a table in the terrace but even the seating in the courtyard looking onto the marina or the walls of old town are wonderful. The food was excellent, we shared a charcuterie between 5 and it was loads. I then had mushroom pasta which was excellent, the portion size was huge! I was sad I couldn’t finish it all. Our group also had the prosciutto & rocket pizza and burger which were all very good. We visited early around 5pm - 7pm and it was quite quiet, live music also started playing later on. Very nice vibe. Would highly recommend.

The food was amazing great presentation and very filling we had a Caesar salad as an appetizer that fed the 2 of us. the service was also amazing, very nice people! I had a pork shoulder that ripped apart very easily very nice combination as the pork was on top of the mashed potato topped with bread crumbs. My girlfriend who ordered the lobster pasta also enjoyed it the tomato sauce tasted like something you don’t get often or ever it tasted very homemade, the only thing she was concerned about was the sauce and noodle ratio didn’t match as she’d like there was a lot of sauce left over and very little noodles. Overall it was a great area and environment with piano entertainment and very professional service!

We had a good time in this place. Perfect for dinner, not too crowded, food is good though the calamari was a bit salty. There’s a live piano, cuisine are a bit pricey but it’s okay for the experience.

Stopped by after coming back on the boat from Cavtat. There is plenty of comfortable seating, heaters and blankets. Tgis is located to the east side of the city, so gets full sun in the morning, but a bit more shady as the day goes on. Service, and food are very good, and prices are in line with the rest of the town. A nice place to watch the busy port area for a while, and also to wait for a boat trip etc.

We had just gotten off the bus from Split and were starving—Coffee & Fast Food Yummmi was exactly what we needed! The portions were massive (you definitely won’t leave hungry), and everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. The lovely waitress made us feel so welcome and was really helpful with our questions. It’s a casual, no-frills place, but the food and service really stand out. Great value for money, and way better than most touristy spots in Dubrovnik. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a filling, tasty meal with genuinely warm hospitality.

NINA, NINA, NINA!!! What a star!!! We went straight to a table outside as we saw it was the last one free, and within a minute or so Nina came to the table, with a vibrant and amazing attitude (very uncommon on our travels). First she offered us a drink, then came back later for our food order. She was very informative about what was in the burgers and we could make adjustments no problems. When the food arrived, with great timing, we discovered how big the burgers were, the size of my friends head 😂😂 It was all delicious!!! Great value for money, and definitely lots cheaper than most places. Thanks Nina, you made our day ;)

Off the beaten path
For day 3, if you don’t mind the extra trek, today covers more off the beaten path places like Cathedral of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary. Not quite as popular as Lokrum, but still highly rated among many travelers. Accounting for getting around and average time spent, today’s activities could take about 7 hours.

The Cathedral of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary, situated in the heart of Dubrovnik's Old Town, is a magnificent example of Baroque architecture. It was constructed in 1673 to replace the original 12th-century cathedral that was destroyed in an earthquake. The cathedral boasts an opulent interior adorned with a painting of the Assumption of Mary by renowned Italian artist Titian.
The Cathedral of the Assumption is located in the historic center of Dubrovnik, near the Rector’s Palace, and has an architecture perfectly in line with the rest of the town. Originally built in the twelfth century, in place of pre-existing religious buildings, it took on its current Baroque forms with reconstruction in the late seventeenth century and early eighteenth following a strong earthquake that had almost completely destroyed it.

The Cathedral of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, located in Dubrovnik, is a noteworthy attraction that offers visitors a glimpse into the city's religious and architectural heritage. While it may not be the most awe-inspiring cathedral I've visited, it certainly holds its own charm and historical significance. The Baroque architecture of the cathedral is elegant, with a beautifully crafted facade and an impressive interior adorned with intricate altars and lovely artwork. The treasury, which houses a collection of religious relics and artifacts, is particularly interesting for those who appreciate history and art. However, the experience can be somewhat underwhelming compared to other grand European cathedrals. The interior, though beautiful, is relatively small and may not captivate those seeking a more majestic or elaborate setting. Additionally, during peak tourist seasons, the cathedral can become quite crowded, detracting from the overall experience. Overall, the Cathedral of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary is worth a visit if you're exploring Dubrovnik's Old Town, especially if you have an interest in religious architecture and history. It's a pleasant stop, but perhaps not a standout in a city full of remarkable sights.

The cathedral is truly one of Dubrovnik's most charming spectacles. The church is quite beautiful, and open for tours 24/7, unless mass is in session. Confessions are some of the best parts od this church, because of a few priests' ability to speak English and Croatian. The church can be quite busy during services, so make sure to arrive 10 minutes before a service.

A free to visit work of art. Originally built during the 12th Century, it was largely destroyed during the earthquake of 1667. It was rebuilt in Roman Baroque style. Reconstruction began in 1673 and it was completed four decades later in 1713. Some beautiful paintings in particular look out for the Triptych of the "Assumption of Mary" by Titian, above the main altar.

I attended mass at this beautiful church. Although it was in Croatian, the rituals were traditionally Catholic & I prayed in English silently. The Rector's Palace is a stunning 14th-century Gothic-Renaissance museum filled with period furnishings and coats of arms. It also hosts a music program featuring renowned pianists. Surrounding the palace, visitors can enjoy the ornate St. Blaise's Church, the artistic reliefs of Onofrio's Fountain, and delicious coffee from Festival Cafe.
Just to note, the Rector's Palace and Cultural-Historical museum are one and the same place. The museum is inside the palace. A great & varied collection of things here. Starting with a collection of religious art you move on to portrait paintings of celebrated citizens of Dubrovnik. Then a collection of stoneworks and old wood/iron chests for storage if valuables. Don't miss the display on the ground floor of b&w photos from the war years of 1991/92. Follow the stairs upto rooms on the first floor for a fine collection of furnishings and paintings. Includes the well known oil painting "The Rape of the Sabine Women" by Pietro da Cortona.

Rector’s palace is a must see in Dubrovnik old town. You get the chance to see probably the most historical building in the city and learn a lot about the history and the culture of the city. What most people don’t know and they don’t advertise it in the museum is that you can download the free IOS app of the museum and it has an amazing audio guide in Croatian and English. Our experience was so much better due to the audio guide and we have noticed many things that we would otherwise miss. Definitely check it out if you are in the city and make sure you buy the Dubrovnik city pass before hand since the entrance of the palace is included.

I visited Rector’s Palace in Dubrovnik mainly because I’m a big Game of Thrones fan — some scenes were filmed here, which made it extra exciting. The palace itself is incredible, with a beautiful mix of Gothic and Renaissance architecture, elegant arches, grand halls, and intricate details that tell the story of Dubrovnik’s rich history. The museum inside provides insight into the city’s past, displaying artifacts, portraits, and period furniture. Depending on your interest, it can be covered in about an hour or less. It’s best to visit with the Dubrovnik Day Pass, as the entrance is included — that way you save paying extra and can combine it with other sites. Highly recommend it for history buffs, architecture lovers, and Game of Thrones fans alike.

The Rector's Palace is absolutely a must-see destination in Dubrovnik. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here, completely captivated by the building's amazing architecture. The blend of different styles is truly beautiful and offers a deep dive into the history. The entire palace provides a wonderful insight into the city's past governance and noble life. For Game of Thrones fans, you should not miss this location. A major plus for visitors is that entry is included if you have the Dubrovnik Pass, making it fantastic value. As a bonus, the palace frequently hosts temporary exhibitions, and the war photo exhibition we saw was incredibly powerful and moving. Plan to spend at least an hour absorbing the history and beauty here.
Lütfü C — Google review
A beautiful building with a range of small exhibits, from war photography, old statues and chests to the palace rooms with vases and other aesthetic furniture. Past the first area there wasn't a lot of information. Toilets are available inside as is a seating area with a coffee machine. You can enter for free with the 10 Museums Pass (cheaper than the Durbvonik Pass).

Buy the Dubrovnik Pass, it pays for the old city wall walk at 40 Euros, and you get access to many museums and attractions. Rector's Palace is one of them, right in the heart of the old city. We really enjoyed the beautiful courtyard and staircases. There's a few levels and things to see in the Palace, likely won't take more than 30min.
Mat B — Google review
A beautiful historical building, with iconic stairs and courtyards. The rooms are a little underwhelming, nothing particularly interesting in them except maybe some unique chests and a few statues. We were there maybe 30 minutes max, and a lot of that was spent admiring the stairs since we skipped the transport exhibit section after peering in. I do think €15 is steep for what it is. If it wasn’t part of the Dubrovnik pass I’m not sure I would pay to enter.

Rector's Palace is ABSOLUTELY a must - see in Dubrovnik!! Especially if there are any events or concerts being held inside. For our wedding anniversary, my father treated us to an unforgettable and stunning opera performance by soprano Sonya Yoncheva and pianist Malcolm Martineau, inside of Dubrovnik's incredibly beautiful Rector's Palace. Their performance was one of many that are a part of Dubrovnik's Summer Festival. It's an understatement to say that I will never forget the impact of Sonya's beautiful and versatile voice, and the joy I felt listening to each of her arias and songs while sitting alongside my husband, dad, and father-in-law. I really, really loved her performance of Ideale. An absolutely breathtaking concert - down to the acoustics inside the atrium, the renaissance style of art, both of her outfits, and the red rose petals she was throwing throughout the stage. This concert was positively one that I will treasure for the rest of my life!! The beautiful palace offered a backdrop that felt both intimate and majestic, creating a unique dialogue between history and performance. Few venues manage to unite cultural heritage with artistic expression as seamlessly as Rector’s Palace. Whether for grand operatic moments or the delicate intimacy of chamber music, it provides not just a stage, but an unforgettable sense of occasion.

Azur is a charming restaurant located within the old city walls of Dubrovnik, offering a blend of Asian and Mediterranean cuisine in a rustic-chic setting. The restaurant's location down a traditional alley adds to its cozy appeal, although finding it may require navigating through mazed alleys. Once inside, guests can choose between the intimate indoor dining room or outdoor seating with daily menu offerings handwritten on a blackboard.
5/11/25: Had Mother’s Day dinner on the patio & their zucchini amaranth balls in a fusion Thai curry was delicious! Also had an herbal blend drink (part of their cocktails list) minus the alcohol, that was superb!

This restaurant is a little bit hard to locate but it's in a nice spot where it's away from the crowds. We tried the meatballs, the chicken tacos and pork tostadas, the k pop chicken sliders, the caulifower popcorn and chicken panko donburi. I didn't care for the meatballs or the pork tostadas. The sliders were good and so was the chicken donburi. Service was extremely slow and they weren't very busy. Our bill with drinks was 117 Euros which wasn't too bad for the Old Town restaurants. Overall, it was a decent meal, but not one of our favorites.

We, two adults and two boys age 13 and 16, had a real nice diner here. The menu is pretty accessible, but certainly with a much better taste than standard. We ordered the green curry, one mixed seafood, and two crunchy chicken with sushi rice. All dishes were appreciated! As dessert we had a tiramisu and cheesecakes. Both very tasty. Azur is located on the side of old town. It felt less warm here, maybe due to our table in a slight draughty alley. Would definitely come here again.

Croatian and Asian fusion sounded suuuper interesting so I had to try this spot out! For the starter I got the Cauliflower Popcorn. The crispiness was on point it was so good, and the sumac yogurt and tonkotsu they put on top complimented it really well. For the main I was really hoping to try the Swordfish but they did not have it :( I got the Meatballs in Coconut Curry which was great as well! Meatballs were soft and curry was flavorful. I did get a warning that it may be spicy but I did not think it was spicy at all. I would also say the dish could use a little more curry to the meatball ratio. To drink I had a p*rn star martini which was so intensely flavorful I was really impressed by it. Kinda wanted a second one but held myself back LOL For dessert I tried their chocolate tart topped with pistachios which I thought was fine. It was like a double layer of mousse and dark chocolate ganache which was fun!

I have to admit being somewhat nervous when my wife suggested going to an Asian-Croatian fusion restaurant. As usual: men, listen to your better half!! The service was absolutely excellent, great advice on the menu, and local wine selection. However, the food served, for me, was by far the best I ate in the Old Town, after a week's stay. Starter, main course and dessert were out of this world, as was the white wine, recommended by the waiter! Thanks to you all!

Food was literally the best that I’ve ever eaten. The seafood was perfect. We got the laksa, tuna tostadas and K-pop chicken sliders. SOOOO GOOOD!! The service was also incred and the vibes were amazing. Can not recommend this place enough.

If you eat anywhere in Dubrovnik, eat here! The Chicken Panko was to die for! It’s a Asian fusion resturant. While slightly expensive, everything was delicious and our entire party loved it. This was just what we needed to change things up after two weeks of traditional Balkan food. We are both lunch and dinner here. The staff was so lovely. We left our bags here over the day as we explored Dubrovnik, and they let us sit inside, borrow pencils and overall took great care of us. They were so nice and gave honest recomendations for their favourites on the menu. A big thank you to the waitress who told me to take the Chicken Panko instead of the Salmon, and brought me extra siracha mayo🙏🏻

Beautiful Church in the center of the old city. It has been well kept up and is worth stopping in and exploring. Built in 1715 by Venetian architect Marino Gropelli after a devastating fire destroyed the original Romanesque structure, the church stands proudly on Luža Square. The interior features Corinthian columns and a magnificent main altar, which houses a 15th-century gilt silver statue of Saint Blaise holding a model of Dubrovnik—a miraculous survivor of the 1706 fire .

Beautiful and superb baroque church built in the eighteenth century by the Venetian architect Groppelli is located at the end of the street. The interior is very rich in works of art, including the Gothic silver statue of St. Blaise patron saint of Dubrovnik. Church is often open for visiting, outside of the standard mass hours.

St. Blaise's Church – A Soulful Landmark in Dubrovnik's Old Town Right in the heart of Dubrovnik’s Old Town, St. Blaise’s Church (Crkva sv. Vlaha) stands proudly with its beautiful baroque architecture and deep historical significance. It’s not just another church—it feels like a symbol of the city itself. The moment you step into Luža Square, this elegant church immediately draws your eye. Its white stone facade, arched windows, and striking central dome catch the sunlight beautifully. But more than just looks, there’s a warm energy around it—locals often gather here, and you’ll notice how naturally tourists are drawn to its steps for photos or a quiet moment. Inside, it’s peaceful and spiritually rich. The golden altar with the statue of St. Blaise, the city’s beloved patron saint, is especially moving. He holds a model of Dubrovnik in his hands—a powerful reminder of how deeply the city connects with its protector. Whether you’re religious or not, visiting this church gives you a deeper sense of Dubrovnik’s soul. It’s free, calming, and full of character. Don’t rush through—take a few minutes to sit, admire, and soak in the quiet history. A true gem in the city’s crown.

Built in 1715 by Venetian architect Marino Gropelli, it stands as a tribute to the city’s patron saint and a symbol of resilience—especially knowing the statue of Saint Blaise was salvaged from a devastating fire. The façade is elegant and richly detailed, and the interior is peaceful and soulful, perfect for a quiet moment of reflection. You must experience the grandeur of St. Blaise Church. Its Baroque facade is a striking contrast to the Old Town's red roofs, immediately capturing your attention. Step inside to discover a serene space adorned with intricate details. The centerpiece is the awe-inspiring statue of St. Blaise, a revered figure in the city's history. Sponza Palace, situated in the heart of Dubrovnik's Old Town, is a splendid example of the city's rich architectural heritage. This remarkable 16th-century palace beautifully blends Gothic and Renaissance styles, making it a standout attraction for anyone exploring the historic city. The palace's exterior features elegant stone carvings and intricate details that reflect the craftsmanship of its era. The interior courtyard is particularly enchanting, offering a tranquil space adorned with graceful arches and columns. It's easy to imagine the bustling activity that once took place here when the palace served as a customs house and meeting place for merchants. Overall, Sponza Palace is a must-visit for those who appreciate historical architecture and want to delve deeper into Dubrovnik's past. Its central location makes it an easy addition to any itinerary exploring the Old Town.

Reviews give an overinflated impression of the building.€5 entry (not in Dubrovnik Pass) Courtyard the only significant part of palace that can be seen but is covered in art displays. Historical photos of old Dubrovnik in some rooms and dedication to fallen soldiers in another. No sense of the architecture and history of the building can be gained. Save your money- don’t bother. Just take a photo of outside.

Apart from the central courtyard (filled with an art gallery), the entrance, and the hall in memory of Dubrovnik's resistance during the war in Yugoslavia, I did not see an indication to visit the palace. Currently, the façade is in restoration so not a great possibility of a beautiful photo in the evening.

Nestled in the enchanting alleys of Dubrovnik's Old Town, Marco Polo Restaurant is a hidden gem that beckons food lovers with its warm and inviting ambiance. This charming eatery specializes in Mediterranean cuisine, showcasing an impressive array of seafood and gourmet meats crafted from fresh local ingredients. The menu reflects a delightful blend of traditional Dalmatian dishes infused with international flair, all while emphasizing seasonal produce.
It’s a really popular restaurant—we had to wait until 9 PM to get a table. The octopus appetizer was super creative. I’d never thought of slicing octopus that thin before, and the combination with olive oil and spicy tomato oil was full of flavor. The truffle pasta with shrimp was also really tasty. But the highlight was definitely the pork belly—it’s basically just thick-cut pork, but pairing it with pumpkin sauce was unexpected and surprisingly good.
Yoli S — Google review
While this restaurant may be more on the pricey side for some, the food was incredible. Complimentary warm pumpkin soup drinks to start, along with bread. We had the goats cheese bread and baked cannelloni to start with, and the flavours were amazing. I then had the steak which was perfectly cooked to my liking and also had amazing flavours! Some of the best food I have ever had. And cant go without complimenting the staff for their knowledge of food and lovely service! Would recommend booking too

Excellent peaceful haven in the heart of the Old Town. Not cheap, but what is in Dubrovnik??? It is great value in that the quality of the food, the service and the ambience bring the dining experience to a higher level. Mali Ston oysters are superb, and we enjoyed crab salad, lamb shanks and Kubla Khan steak. Tender and juicy. Accompanied by some local reds which are excellent. Couldn’t resist the lemon tart and pistachio cheesecake, a deconstructed dessert with raspberry compote to balance the flavour of the pistachio. An excellent meal!!

A Truly Exceptional Dining Experience at Marco Polo Cuisine. We had an incredible evening at Marco Polo Cuisine! From start to finish, everything was top-notch. Our server Kenan made the experience outstanding - his recommendations were absolutely perfect. We started with fresh Ostrea Edulis oysters and a blue crab cannoli salad, both bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. Truffle shrimp pasta and For our mains, we enjoyed a perfectly cooked medium-rare steak and a sesame-crusted tuna that was seared to perfection and full of texture and taste. To finish, we shared the pistachio raspberry cheesecake, which was rich, creamy, and perfectly balanced — made even better with the amazing dessert wine Kenan paired for us. Every detail, from the food to the service, was thoughtfully executed. Highly recommend Marco Polo Cuisine for anyone looking for a refined, memorable meal with exceptional service. We'll definitely be back!

Whilst on our visit to the old town in Dubrovnik we discovered this Michelin rated restaurant. Luckily amongst all the reserved tables they found us a table for two in the courtyard. We enjoyed a local Rose wine and settled in to enjoy our meal. Starting with an amuse bouche of roasted tomato soup. Really nice. This was followed by our main meal which started with a sumptuous bruschetta adorned not just with tomato's but prosciutto ham, olives and a peach jam. Delicious. Then my wife had a seafood pasta dish and I had a variety of seafood in tempura batter. Very crisp, unctuous and full of well cooked fresh seafood. The service was first class and its fair to say we thoroughly enjoyed our meal and our discovery of ' Marco Polo'. The 4 rating on atmosphere was due to the fact we were the only diners to start with.
Steve R — Google review
As soon as my boyfriend and I arrived, they saw how freezing I am and one of the staff blasted the heating which I believe was very sweet. The menu wasn't very big so it wasn't difficult to pick the food out of it. Our waiter, Miki (hopefully I didn't butcher his name), was so attentive and providing us the information that we need. Then comes the wine which my partner ordered Dingac-Matusco, the BEST wine I have ever tasted in my life. We also ordered the arancini which was so nice and well-seasoned. My partner ordered the lamb which I love as it was very tender and flavourful and he loved my order duck breast. I am particularly just not into the food being seasoned with salt but otherwise didn't really ruin the whole experience. The onions which I don't normally like has just become the star of my plate. Then, finally the pistachio cheesecake which was a dream for me as I really love pistachio and it was creamy and not overly sweet. Thank you for a very pleasant experience Marco Polo and we are looking forward to seeing you again on out next trip to Dubrovnik.
Allysa P — Google review
We had dinner at Marco Polo on our first night in Dubrovnik, and it completely exceeded our expectations. From start to finish, the experience was outstanding. We began with the baked goat cheese, which was incredibly flavorful—garlicky, perfectly roasted, and simply delicious. For our mains, we split the monkfish Wellington and the lamb dish, and honestly couldn’t pick a favorite. Both were cooked to perfection, bursting with flavor, and offered such a thoughtful mix of textures and taste profiles. We ended the night with a lemon tart that struck the perfect balance of tangy and sweet, paired beautifully with a glass of Croatian white wine. The service was exceptional—Kenan was friendly, knowledgeable, and made us feel truly welcome. His descriptions of each dish added to the experience and made our selections even more enjoyable. The setting on the quiet, intimate patio made everything even better. It was cool, calm, and just what we needed after a long travel day. Highly recommend Marco Polo for anyone visiting Dubrovnik. A perfect blend of ambiance, service, and food.

I highly recommend this restaurant! Instead of the crowded center of Dubrovnik Old Town, it’s tucked away in a charming alley where you can enjoy a relaxed and cozy atmosphere. The wine and menu recommended to us were absolutely fantastic! I would definitely love to come back. I visited with my family, and we especially enjoyed the OPG Croatia cheese and ham paired with the wine. The staff were incredibly kind and the service was excellent. I’d like to give a special mention to Sara and Sabrina for their warm hospitality(I apologize if I remembered the names incorrectly🥹)

We found Bura while looking for a place to eat in Dubrovnik. It was very busy, but luckily there was still a high table available for us. The sea bass and local wine were absolutely fantastic. Our waiter Teo was amazing, professional, friendly, attentive, and funny. The restaurant should be proud to have him on their team. This was our best dining experience so far during our trip. Highly recommended!

Bura was a lovely surprise in the heart of Dubrovnik. The burrata salad was a standout — a generous portion, incredibly fresh, and full of flavor. The pasta was absolutely amazing, perfectly cooked and packed with taste. We ended the meal with their Orange dessert, which had a refreshing citrus flavor and a scoop of ice cream inside — the perfect sweet finish to the evening. The staff were incredibly friendly, kind, and hospitable, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. If you find yourself in Dubrovnik, definitely stop by the square for dinner at Bura.

We had such a wonderful experience at Bura in Dubrovnik that we went back two nights! The service is truly outstanding, everyone is so kind, welcoming, and attentive. The host, Milica, made us feel at home both evenings, and we had the pleasure of being served by Lazar one night and Nikola the other. Both of whom were excellent. The food is also fantastic, with a great variety of options to choose from, and everything we tried was delicious. The atmosphere is relaxed yet vibrant, making it the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy a meal after a long day exploring Dubrovnik. Overall, Bura combines amazing service, excellent food, and a great atmosphere. We highly recommend it!

Quite nice food. The pasta dishes were good, and the salad starters were nice, although not sure if the value was great for what we ate. The outdoor dining has heaters and blankets which makes it a nice place to enjoy a meal. Service is good, and staff are friendly. Plenty of food choices.

You never know what you’re gonna get in busy tourist spots but Bura is fantastic. I had a risotto executed to perfection, and a salad. Nikola was a gracious and efficient server. The hostess stopped by a few bites in to check that everything was to my liking. And big bonus: they’ll serve tap water! (So much nicer for climate change reasons.)

Didn't eat, just had drinks around the tall tables. Nice ambience to the place with relaxed but attentive staff. Drinks were okay, good Aperol spritz, Cuba libre had too much lime in it. Rum and coke afterwards was much better. No fault of the establishment but it appears to be on a walking tour route so quite a few people passing through in large groups and then hanging around while the guide talks. Overall a very nice bar with good service

Nestled in the heart of Dubrovnik's old town, Bistro Tavulin is a hidden gem that beautifully marries tradition with culinary excellence. This family-run establishment offers an authentic taste of Croatian cuisine, showcasing seasonal ingredients at reasonable prices. Despite its prime location, it maintains a cozy atmosphere that invites you to relax and savor each bite.
Tavulin is truly an amazing restaurant in Dubrovnik. The food was absolutely delicious — every dish we tried was full of flavor and beautifully presented. What made the experience even better was the incredibly warm and welcoming staff. Everyone was smiling, attentive, and made us feel right at home. You can really feel the passion they put into both the service and the kitchen. I loved everything about it and would 100% recommend it! Ordered Lamb chops and cuttlefish risotto

Bistro Tavulin offers excellent food with fresh ingredients and well-balanced flavors. The location near the Old Town is very pleasant, and prices are quite reasonable for Dubrovnik. The only downside was the service – polite but distant and a bit cold. Still, definitely worth a visit.

Quality restaurant serving great quality food. Really nice outdoor seating area. Service was a little slow, but it was busy. Food was really tasty with ok portion sizing. Price is a little higher than others around but worth it (apart from the bread, which should come with the meal!!)

Very nice place to enjoy a dinner with your lovebird. We were hungry and tired of wandering around the whole day. We've found the perfect place to try some dishes out. The main dish with carrots (vegetables dish) is a hit. So creamy and tasty. The chicken was not dry at all. The tiramisu was not necessary I have to say, cause we were full, but my sweet tooth can't help themselves. Plus, very nice service!

The restaurant is known for its delicious food, including local homemade Croatian pasta cooked in lobster tomato bisque and perfectly cooked lobster tail. Highly recommend. Food and views are top notch. Either the chef or waiter came out to describe each course. We could not get enough of the chicken butter served with house made sourdough bread. The beet bomb amuse delighted eyes and taste buds. Important to note that there is no elevator and that the restaurant sits above five floors of apartments.

How do I even begin to illustrate how gorgeous this restaurant is? My sister and I had the privilege of dining here in June and were absolutely enthralled. Our server, Maro, was incredibly attentive, knowledgeable and personable. The food was EXCELLENT, with Chef Adi even visiting the table to explain and present the dishes. The views of Dubrovnik are spectacular and I would truly recommend this restaurant to anyone who has the chance to visit. I highly recommend adding the wine/cocktail pairing as it significantly elevated the experience.

My wife and I celebrated with a dinner here while we were in Dubrovnik and chose the chefs tasting menu to splurge. All of the food was fantastic and the wait staff were very friendly and polite. Lovely views of the Old Town from the rooftop. The only reason I give it 4/5 overall is the price. While the food was very good it didn’t seem to be that exquisite to justify the price tag.

The food is wonderful, I highly recommend this. It’s on the Michelin guide, but it’s better than the majority of Michelin star restaurants I’ve been to around the world. For Entree, the scallop is sensational - one of the best scallop dishes I’ve had anywhere. The rooftop view is also great, the best time to start dinner is just before sunset so you get sunset and also night views

Cannot recommend this place enough!!! For our meal - we did end up doing the five course menu and left so full & happy with our meal!! The view from here also cannot be beat. The waiters and chef were also so attentive and helpful. Wish I could eat here once a month, it truly was that good!!

The atmosphere at Above 5 was vibrant and welcoming. A stunning view of old Dubrovnik that enhances the dining experience. Being located on the roof above the 5th floor, the restaurant offers an excellent vantage point, making the views even more breathtaking. The service was exceptional. Our waiter was friendly and unobtrusive, ensuring we had everything we needed without being intrusive. He presented all dishes with some interesting facts, enriching our dining experience. The menu features a diverse selection of dishes that truly showcase a blend of local and international flavors. Each dish was incredibly flavorful and beautifully presented; it’s clear that this restaurant is just a step away from being Michelin starred. All appetizer was delicious, and for the main course, we enjoyed each bite. The culinary experience was simply outstanding. The desserts were delightful and capped the meal perfectly. The drink menu was extensive, offering a good variety of wines that paired wonderfully with the food. The cocktails, like the food, were Michelin-starred level in terms of creativity and flavor, making them a must-try. Overall, dining at Above 5 was a memorable experience. It’s a great spot for a date night, special occasions, or just a meal with friends. I would definitely recommend it to others and look forward to visiting again.
