Nestled in the heart of the magnificent Grand Canyon National Park, the Grand Canyon Visitor Center is more than just a place for gathering information. It serves as a bustling hub offering various services and experiences. Visitors can find everything from bike rentals to coffee, exhibits showcasing historical artifacts, and even a gift shop. This vibrant center is not just a pit stop but rather a comprehensive starting point for exploring the wonders of the Grand Canyon.
The park is a great place to explore. We arrived just after 8am, the queues to get in were small and the parking was easy. It cost us $35 dollars for the seven day pass, which was the cheaper option. We really preferred the quieter spots on the south rim. We stopped by the museum which had great views and had less people than the village or visitor centre. A must see!

Standing on the Edge of Time: A Day at the Grand Canyon There are few places on Earth that can truly take your breath away the way the Grand Canyon does. No matter how many photos you’ve seen, nothing prepares you for that first moment when the land suddenly drops away and an ocean of red rock, cliffs, and shadows stretches out farther than your eyes can see. I arrived early in the morning, when the sun was just starting to paint the sky with pale pinks and golds. The canyon looked alive — shadows shifting with every minute as light spilled into the deep ridges and valleys. It felt like standing on the edge of time itself, staring into millions of years of Earth’s history carved by the Colorado River. What Makes It So Special Endless Views: Every lookout point shows you a new perspective, from layered cliffs to winding rivers below. Colors That Change with the Day: Sunrise paints it soft and glowing, while sunset turns the rocks fiery red and deep purple. Wild Encounters: Keep your eyes open for elk, bighorn sheep, and the soaring California condors. A Place to Pause What I loved most wasn’t just the scale of the canyon, but the way it makes you feel small in the best way. Standing there, you can’t help but reflect — about life, about how fleeting time really is compared to the stones beneath your feet. The Grand Canyon isn’t just a destination. It’s a reminder that the world is so much bigger, more beautiful, and more powerful than we often stop to notice.

Beautiful scenery, gorgeous natural wonder, one must see and add to your bucket list. But at it was raining so wasn't able to enjoy the full experience. Free shuttles, friendly staff and everything was laid out in a simple and understandable navigational manner. But pricing for souvenirs, food, and hotel accommodations overwhelm the experience. Do you need to charge $40 for a $5 T-shirt, $30 for a $10 cup? I get it you've taken a natural treasure and made it into a lucrative business that only the privileged can enjoy for a large fee. Welcome to America. Even though, I still enjoyed and appreciated the experience. I hope the indigenous people get something more than just a job in the gift shop and 30 minute story in Imax of how it used to belong to them.

Loved the park. Everyone was so kind. So shocked to see so many Europeans there. Guess because its holiday time there and the euro is doing better than the dollar. We saw most of the park. Even took a helicopter ride but avoided the main visitor center. Instead we went to the geological center. Less people better experience.

We arrived at the South Rim around 9:00 AM and had to wait about 30 minutes in traffic just to get through the entrance gate. Once inside, we also had to wait in line again for the tourist shuttle bus, which added to the overall time before we could really start exploring. The shuttle bus itself is convenient for getting around, but expect some waiting, especially during peak hours. There are plenty of restaurants inside the park, but we found them to be on the expensive side, so we skipped them and instead brought along an easy lunch, which we enjoyed at the end of the bus tour. The views of the canyon are absolutely worth the hassle—breathtaking and unlike anything else. Just be prepared for some waiting and higher food prices.

My wife and I decided to visit the majestic Grand Canyon 🏞️. The views were absolutely breathtaking, and we spent hours marveling at the vastness of the canyon. I highly recommend this place to everyone who appreciates natural beauty; it's an experience like no other. The trails are well-maintained and offered different levels of difficulty, making it suitable for various fitness levels. To top it all off, the area is very pet-friendly 🐕, which was a massive plus for us. I suggest you visit it once in your life, it's truly unforgettable! #GrandCanyon #Travel #Adventure #PetFriendly #Nature

One of the most beautiful natural wonders in the world! Visiting the Grand Canyon has always been a dream for me, and experiencing it in person was truly breathtaking. The vast landscapes, the stunning red rock formations, and the peaceful atmosphere make it a once-in-a-lifetime experience. I visited with my friends, and every view felt simply magical. The Grand Canyon is absolutely amazing — a must-visit destination for everyone!”

The Grand Canyon Visitor Center is a must-visit spot, especially if you’re new to the area. There are four main parking lots, and this is typically the first stop if you’re entering from the South Entrance. The center opens promptly at 8 AM, with friendly and dedicated park rangers ready to assist. If you arrive early, maps are available outside the building. You can also pick up Junior Ranger activity books here. From the Visitor Center parking lot, shuttle buses are available to explore both the East and South Rim areas of the Grand Canyon.

Mather Point is a popular scenic viewpoint located along the South Rim of the Grand Canyon. It offers stunning canyon vistas and is conveniently close to the visitor center. Yavapai Point, situated west of Mather Point, provides an equally breathtaking view of the Grand Canyon Village area. From Yavapai Point, visitors can admire various landmarks such as the Bright Angel Trail, Indian Gardens, Phantom Ranch, and even catch a glimpse of the Colorado River and its suspension bridge.
Absolutely stunning views—Mather Point is a must-visit! This was our first stop at the Grand Canyon, and it left us speechless. The views are incredible and give you that classic, jaw-dropping Grand Canyon experience. It’s easily accessible from the visitor center, and the paved pathways make it great for all ages. We were lucky enough to catch both sunrise and sunset here—and both were absolutely amazing. The way the light hits the canyon walls creates the most vibrant colors and peaceful atmosphere. It’s the perfect spot to just take a breath and appreciate the natural beauty. There’s plenty of space to take in the scenery and snap photos without feeling rushed or crowded. A perfect introduction to the South Rim—don’t skip it!

Grand Canyon was on my bucket list, and I had the chance to visit this wonderful place during a business trip in Las Vegas. We came with a tiny plane. The journey alone was also stunning. We saw the Hoverdam from above, which also was breathtaking. I wished I made some proper notes, from where we started at Grand Canyon and where we ended. But anyways I was privileged to see this beautiful nature.

Spectacular view of the Canyon. The walk from the parking lot was on paved walkways that led us to the overlook. There were restrooms and a gift shop in the area. The visitors center was unfortunately closed. There was also a bus shuttle transfer to places in the park. The busses were free and made the park easy to get around.

Our first visit to the Grand Canyon was unforgettable! Mather Point truly captures the canyon’s grandeur — the sweeping views, dramatic cliffs, and vibrant colors are simply mesmerizing. It’s conveniently located near the visitor center, with easy, stroller-friendly walkways perfect for families. There’s ample space for photos and quiet moments to soak in the view. An ideal first stop on the South Rim and a must-see for anyone visiting the Grand Canyon!

Great spot to either start or finish your South Rim Grand Canyon trip. Wheelchair accessible with lots of restrooms. There is about a 5min walk from the parking spot to the view point. The view of the Grand Canyon is breathtaking, with safety rails in place. The bus tours and shuttles pass through this site regularly. Gift shop is also open despite the governement shut down, get something to support the park workers. Can't go wrong passing through here.

Visited park oct 31/nov 1st In was awesome, and so glad we went to see it. The north rim however after we drove all the way up was closed! Would have been nice for a sign to be put up to say so. Waited many yrs to go visit and having north rim closed was the chitz.

Mather Point is absolutely breathtaking! Located on the South Rim, it offers stunning panoramic views that are a must-see — especially at sunset. The colors over the canyon as the sun goes down are truly unforgettable. We also came back at night for stargazing, and it was magical. The sky was so clear and full of stars. This spot is definitely one of the highlights of the Grand Canyon and not to be missed!

Grand Canyon carved by God’s own hand, A wonder vast across the land. Through ancient rocks and rivers deep, His timeless art for us to keep. Layers painted red and gold, Stories of the earth retold. The Colorado’s winding flow, Shapes the earth both fast and slow. Majestic cliffs that rise so high, Touching heavens, meeting sky. Sunset’s glow on canyon walls, Speaks of God’s great love that calls. In silent awe we stand and see, His mighty power and majesty— A sacred work, forever true, The Grand Canyon’s gift to you.

Grand Canyon is a world-renowned natural wonder located in the Arizona desert, where the Colorado River has carved its way through the landscape. Yavapai Lodge, the largest lodge in Grand Canyon Village near the South Rim, offers comfortable rooms and various dining options. For a less crowded experience, visitors can head to the North Rim where they can find Grand Canyon Lodge, a National Historic Landmark with rim-side camping and delicious dining options.
Beautiful although Bryce Canyon was even more outstanding to us. Awesome that only the visitor center was closed but shuttle buses were going as usual despite the government shutdown.👍

This is truly an amazing place to visit, it’s huge and you can go around with your car, enjoy multiple spots with breathtaking sceneries. I really liked it and I’ll be glad to do it again.

The Grand Canyon is truly a beautiful place and a one of its kind location. The different views, weather, and trails can make visiting here a unique experience for each person. The park staff is helpful. There are plenty of gift shops and places to rest on the South Rim. However, if you plan on going on the trails make sure you bring enough water and food. There are various options on ways to see this natural wonder, so make sure to look up what's available and plan ahead. Overall this place is a must see location.

Breathtaking views and great hiking pathways of various levels of difficulty and duration are there. One must be prepared and cautiously aware that the return part of the hike is more difficult than the onward journey because the return part involves a steady climb.

Is It Really That Good? Yes. It is. If you've seen pictures, multiply their impact by about a thousand. If you've heard people talk about it, understand that they're likely underselling it because words simply don't do it justice. It's one of those places that forces you to stop, stare, and question if you've ever truly seen anything before. So, do we really need to review the Grand Canyon? No, not really. It reviews you. It makes you feel small, awestruck, and profoundly grateful that something so magnificent exists. Just go. Seriously, what are you waiting for? Your life needs this giant, beautiful hole.
Martin V — Google review
Visiting the Grand Canyon was absolutely breathtaking! No pictures or videos really prepare you for how massive and colorful it is in person. The views from the rim are stunning, and if you have the time, hiking even a short way down gives you a whole new perspective. It’s super well-maintained with plenty of lookout points, and the mix of scenery, wildlife, and fresh air makes it unforgettable. Definitely one of those places you have to see at least once in your life.

The Grand Canyon Village Market & Deli, located at the South Rim, is a one-stop shop for all your needs. From groceries and camping equipment to gifts and clothing, this market has it all. You can also find unique postcards perfect for gifting. Additionally, the marketplace offers one-day nonresident permits and fishing licenses. When hunger strikes, you can grab a full meal or fresh salads and sandwiches from the deli to enjoy on the large veranda.
Beautiful store with variety of stuff. They have all necessary stuff to camp..hike.. etc. If you forgot something then possibly that they have it here. They have local native American souvenirs and they are marked that they are or not.

We stopped at the Grand Canyon Village Market & Deli for lunch during our South Rim visit and were pleasantly surprised by the variety and quality of options. Everything came out fresh and quick, making it a perfect stop between hikes and overlooks. The standout item? The Native Taco—we didn’t know what to expect, but it ended up being weirdly wonderful and definitely worth trying! We also enjoyed the chicken Caesar salad, yogurt parfaits, and a 10” supreme pizza—all solid options with generous portions. Even the kids’ ham & cheese sandwiches were a hit with our crew. Overall, it was a great place to relax, recharge, and enjoy a satisfying meal without the long wait or high prices you might expect inside a national park. Convenient, casual, and tasty—highly recommend stopping here for lunch!

The Grand Canyon Village Market and Deli is a large grocery store, deli and souvenir shop combination. The store is clean, well stocked and appears to have most things people could want or need. It appears to be geared particularly to folks that camp in the park.

The market was absolutely fantastic, a true gem for any visitor. It was filled with an incredible array of food and drinks, tempting my taste buds. I couldn't resist grabbing some lunch, the options were simply too good. There were also many interesting articles, perfect for finding unique gifts or souvenirs. It was so easy to find a delicious drink to enjoy while browsing. I found the market to be a great way to spend the afternoon. I was able to make some purchases for the road home. The whole experience was lovely and I cannot wait to go back.

Enjoyed shopping with friends at the Village Market Grocery Store. There was a great selection of tourist items available. The clothing selection encompassed the spectrum of ever changing temperatures at the Grand Canyon. There was a full grocery available, addressing the needs of the casual visitor on through those of the full-time residents. The prices seemed quite reasonable, especially given that the area is primarily tourism. It's easily accessible via the free shuttle, driving, or walking. There is a parking lot on site.

I just made a purchase everything except the sierra nevada looks correct. I feel like i was over charged and the cashier couldnt do anything to help because customer service was closed. As the only market in the canyon customer service should be available the entire time the store is open. Now i have to take the L and lose money.

My family and I had breakfast at the deli and the breakfast burritos were AMAZING! Mesyundro & Alysia very so friendly! Much needed and refreshing after our roadtrip. We will definitely return for breakfast, and can’t wait to try their chicken sandwich & tacos for lunch while we are here.

Great store, great presentation. I bought a mug there on clearance months ago and it broke when I got home (dropped it). I called around 6 months later out of curiosity. The gentleman recalled the cup and said they’re all out but he would check just in case. He found a few left and offered to ship them to me. Great effort, I’m so thankful!

Experience the magic of a bygone era with a journey on the Grand Canyon Railway, a historic train that takes passengers on a scenic ride to the South Rim of the Grand Canyon. This heritage railroad, which dates back to 1901, offers travelers an opportunity to witness Arizona's stunning landscapes while reliving the romance of classic rail travel. Departing from Williams, Arizona, the train travels 64 miles through picturesque terrain before reaching its destination at Grand Canyon National Park.
We hit up the gift shop before the ride, and it was great. The experience on the train was delightful. The crew was fantastic. The snacks were delicious, and the service was the best. The entertainment was fun also. Highly recommend this fun way to travel to the Grand Canyon!

This was so much more than I could ever have imagined! Johnny Arizona was the absolute best guide! He made the trip so much more memorable. The music during our ride was great! The Western Show was fun to see! We also took a bus tour at the Grand Canyon… it’s the best way to see as much as you can if you only have 1 day!
Jennifer K — Google review
My dad and I took the Grand Canyon Railway from Williams, Arizona to the South Rim of the Grand Canyon. The train depot itself is well-maintained and carries a strong sense of historic charm. As we waited for the train, there was a quiet sense of anticipation. Watching the massive Iron Horse pull into the station felt like stepping back in time. The ride itself took about two hours. As we curved through the mountains and passed beneath the tall pines, I found myself reflecting on what the early pioneers must have felt. There’s something powerful in watching the land roll by at a slower pace—a reminder of both the natural world and the strength of human innovation. The rhythm of the train was deeply calming. It brought to mind the steady beat in old country songs—the kind of rhythm you hear in Johnny Cash records. Now I understand why so many artists wrote with that cadence in mind. It’s not just musical; it’s historical. It’s part of the American experience. If you're someone who appreciates history, nature, and the changing eras of human life, this ride offers a rare chance to feel the 1800s. One of my favorite moments was simply watching the train bend and wind its way between the mountains—a quiet, almost cinematic experience. The overall aesthetic is vintage and authentic. This isn’t just transportation—it’s a window into a different time. I highly recommend it.

this ride is well worth it! the williams depot is original and beautifully restored. we rode first class and it was a very comfortable ride. lots of leg room and the seats recline. our car attendant was very knowledgeable and friendly and she made a mean hot chocolate. we had live music up and back, that was fun. from scrub desert to mountain pines, the scenery was varied and amazing. arrival at the grand canyon was easy. a short walk to the edge of the canyon. the original depot is still there and is lovely. it was my first visit to the canyon and honestly, while what is viewable is amazing, it is a limited perspective. plenty of options for food when you get there but my advice is to eat first, wander later as the wait gets longer at the restaurants. we do not recommend the Harvey house, the server was pleasant, but the service was slow and the food was underwhelming. the ride back to williams was pleasant, more music, more hot chocolate and a tiny nap and a final surprise. be prepared for variable weather!!!! we went in mid October, we were prepared but even in mid summer it can turn on you.

Grand Canyon Railway was amazing! My wife & I have been to the Grand Canyon a few times and this was the most fun and stress free (No driving/parking,etc.) way to get there and see everything. The train experience itself was incredible. Before the ride, there was a really cool old west show, then along the ride, there were entertainers on the train and we looked out the window and saw a gang of train robbers on horseback coming after us! Too cool! All of the staff worked hard to make sure everyone had a great time. food and drink options were great and reasonably priced. The train took us to the south canyon rim, where there are shuttles that take you to several amazing viewpoints. The whole trip was awesome. fun for the whole family. One suggestion; Pay the little extra to get a seat in one of the cars with the bubble like windows up top.(See photos) the scenery from that vantage point was phenomenal. I hope to make it back for this experience again some day. Just to put my experience in perspective, we took this trip in "2014" and it is still one of the greatest and most vivid travel memories I have.

Riding the Grand Canyon Railway has been an outstanding experience! The enjoyable camaraderie amongst fellow travelers, amazing scenery viewed through large windows, and the guide-like knowledge shared by our car attendant (along with his wonderful sense of humor), made for an unforgettable experience. The bandits' "hold-up" of the train was fun!

We highly recommend the Grand Canyon Railway! This was my very first experience on a train, and it couldn’t have been more delightful. The entire trip was comfortable, scenic, and full of charm — from the moment we boarded until we reached the Grand Canyon, every detail was thoughtfully done. Our car attendant, Teryl, made the journey even more special. She was such a pleasure — kind, attentive, and full of fascinating stories that brought the history of the railway and the region to life. Her humor and warmth made everyone feel welcome and kept the ride entertaining the whole way. If you’re looking for a fun, relaxing, and memorable way to see the Grand Canyon, this is absolutely it. The combination of beautiful views, vintage charm, and wonderful staff makes it an experience you’ll never forget. We can’t wait to do it again!

If you plan on going to see the Grand Canyon, this is the best way to do it. While the overall experience has updated a tiny bit through the years, the charm is still ever present. Please, ensure that you book ahead and think heavily about running packages through the railway to ensure close dining and lodging. All aboard the peaceful way to the south rim!

Stayed in a basic, cute cabin( no fireplace or view) at bright angel. Great location-5’ walk to the rim and also eating. Parking was handy. The parks service has done an amazing job with keeping things up to date, but in keeping with the atmosphere.Every employee was friendly and patiently helpful and I think happy to be working there!!

Location, location, location! That gives this place 5 stars. We stayed in the Powell lodge. This isn’t a 4 star fancy place. But you are literally steps away from the rim. Like 15-20 steps. Depending what room, even closer. There are some rooms that do not have a bathroom in the room so you are sharing, we had an in room bathroom. There is no AC. We are here in October and thought it would be good. It got stuffy at night but you can open the window. There were also no TVs in the rooms we had but we didn’t need it. We were not in the room much. We ate at the cafe onsite twice which was surprising pretty good.

I just returned from a trip visiting the south rim of the Grand Canyon and I had reserved 2 rooms in the Bright Angel Lodge last year. Much to my surprise, we were in one of the smaller cabins which was just steps to the rim trail. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. We had some delicious dinner food and drinks in the Harvey House bar and we used the shuttle service that was close by. It was a great experience and will hopefully have another chance to return.

THIS is the place to stay when visiting the Grand Canyon. Cabins are nothing fancy, but quaint, clean and cozy. You walk out your door and to the Canyon rim in 30 seconds. Unbelievable! Very nice people, good food in the restaurant, well designed shuttle services. We enjoyed out stay very much.

Simple, comfortable rooms with a great location close to the Bright Angel Trail. We stayed in the Buckey Lodge in a double queen room with private bathroom and were surprisingly pleased. Didn’t know what to expect from a lodge, but we were happy with the cleanliness and convenience. You can even stargaze right from the parking lot, with the entire Milky Way visible at night. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Our stay at Bright Angel Lodge was absolutely sublime! Right outside our window was the most stunning view of the Grand Canyon and we could just walk outside to walk the south rim. Breakfast at Harvey House was delicious and all staff were friendly and welcoming.

Bright Angel Lodge was a last minute decision we will never forget! After camping several days, we decided to upgrade for the last night. We didn’t want to break the bank, but just have a bit more space to rest and regroup. Shared baths can always be a bit dicey but these were cleaned often and I never had to wait. (We visited mid October.) The room was old (there’s history there!) but updated. The restaurant attached to the lodge served many of the same items as Arizona Steakhouse, which was just up the walk. The west village of the Grand Canyon south rim has a slightly Disney feel, but after roughing it several days, it was nice to be pampered.
Vikki C — Google review
Firstly, the staff were all brilliant and are the only reason this was not a 1 star review. The room was clean and tidy and the location is fantastic, right next to the rim. The issue is the room itself though. These are connected cabins with a room separated by a door just down the side of the bed. The issue is that this door has a manual lock that can be operated by either room. There is a small hanging sign on the door handle telling you to keep the door lock turned keep the door locked. However, as we found out, if the person in the other room does not or cannot read this sign, they can just unlock the door on their side and walk into your room. As such, I had a very awkward encounter with the person that had just checked into the room next door, as they assumed it was just another section of their room. This really does not feel secure. There is a small safe in the room, but anything that does not fit into it, could quite easily be stolen if the person next door is not trustworthy. I honestly do not know why the rooms are not able to be locked by the staff and only unlocked if they are to be used by people requesting connecting rooms. Having a trust system seems very risky. If it wasn't for this, it would have been a 5 star stay. Unfortunately, due to the lack of room security, we would not stay again.

Hopi Point, located on the South Rim of the Grand Canyon, offers an unparalleled view of the canyon's breathtaking vistas. This popular overlook provides unobstructed views and is a prime spot for witnessing stunning sunrises and sunsets. Situated along Hermit Road, it is part of a scenic route that includes other famous viewpoints like Mohave Point. Additionally, visitors can explore the Trail of Time, which features informative signs detailing the geological history of the area.
Hopi Point was recommended for sunset, we took a bus over and ate our packed dinner as the sun was setting. It was nice having a bathroom at this location. The park does a nice job with the bus transportation. There were a lot of people doing the same thing which I'm sure is happening there every night and transportation back to the village was very smooth. Plus we saw elk on the way back

If you’re visiting the Grand Canyon, do not miss sunset at Hopi Point. It’s hands-down one of the most breathtaking spots on the South Rim to watch the sun dip behind the canyon walls. The panoramic views seem to stretch endlessly, and the colors—deep oranges, purples, and pinks—dance across the layered rock formations like a painting coming to life. I arrived about 30 minutes before sunset to grab a good spot, and the atmosphere was peaceful, almost reverent. There’s plenty of space to spread out, and the railings offer unobstructed views, perfect for photography or just soaking it all in. As the sun sank lower, the canyon lit up in warm hues and cast dramatic shadows that changed by the second. I highly recommend taking the park shuttle—it’s convenient, stress-free, and drops you right at the viewpoint without any hassle. Truly a magical moment and a memory I’ll never forget. If you see only one sunset at the Grand Canyon, make it from Hopi Point.

Fantastic place to catch the sunset. We got here a little earlier than most and had a great view that didn't seem very popular, as it was just us there for the majority of the time. I sat right up next to the fence without issue and got some great photos. Highly recommend.

After reading various reviews of best place for sunset 🌅 at the Grand Canyons, we tried our luck with Hopi Point. It is a truly breathtaking and spectacular view from there. Many areas to sit and enjoy the view. Loved it 😍

Fantastic to view sunset at probably one of the best viewpoints of Grand Canyon! It just seems you are in the middle of the Grand Canyon and you can’t stop appreciating the grandiose views it offers!

The best place to get a truly breath taking sunset!! It is amazing, words and pictures don't come close to the beauty this spot has to offer!

This prominent viewpoint situated on the South Rim of the Grand Canyon is located approximately four miles east of Grand Canyon Village and is one of those special places for sunrise and sunset viewing and photography. This point offers fantastic panoramic views of the Colorado River, as it carves its way through the canyon below. There is a vault toilet located east of the main viewing point and is serviced from March to November during the day by Park Services’ Shuttle Bus system, no private vehicles allowed will buses are in service.

Mohave Point is a popular South Rim overlook along the Hermit Road, offering stunning vistas of terraced cliffs, sandstone mesas, and the curving Colorado River. It's part of the Trail of Time, where each step represents a million years of geological history. The area is known for its famous sunrise and sunset viewpoints, including The Abyss, a one-mile vertical indentation into the canyon wall. Artists often find inspiration in the unique way sunlight interacts with the rock formations here.
This is one of the more popular and prominent viewpoints along the Desert View Drive in Grand Canyon National Park. From this location you can walk out to several different outcrops, each providing a different and spectacular view of the vistas of the Colorado River, which were carved out of this massive canyon over millions of years. From the views to the east, you can see the vast expanse of the canyon, while to the west, the rugged landscape stretches towards the horizon. The viewpoint is named after the Mojave tribe, a Native American group that once inhabited the region. This is also a special stop for photographers and nature enthusiasts and is also a great spot for sunrise and sunset viewing, when the canyon's rust-hued rocks are bathed in golden sunlight. Access to this location is possible by hiking on the Rim Trail or riding the Park Services’ shuttle bus system from March to November. During the months of December to the end of February you can drive your personal vehicle but recommend checking the Park Services website for any changes.

While most people focus on the breathtaking scenery of the Grand Canyon, it's fascinating to know that this area was once under the sea around 200,000 years ago. As a result, you can find plenty of seashell and fish fossils embedded in the rocks. It’s also a fun activity to go fossil hunting with kids and enjoy some hands-on discovery together. Just remember, any fossils you find must be left where they are.

Amazing to capture the temple (shiva and Buddhism) references in Grand Canyon! Capture the beauty of this viewpoint right before sunset, and it was very picturesque and beautiful to see canyon half in shade and in sunlight! Recommend to check this point later during the day and head to Hopi point for sunset!
Preyas S — Google review
Mohave Point is easily one of the best spots in the Grand Canyon to catch the sunset. The way the light hits the canyon walls as the sun goes down is just unreal! Layers of color, deep shadows, and the Colorado River glowing way down below. It’s less crowded than some of the other viewpoints, which makes the whole experience feel more peaceful and personal.
Eric L — Google review
Mohave Point offers one of the most breathtaking views in the Grand Canyon. This spot is truly unforgettable, especially at sunset. The way the light hits the layers of the canyon walls, casting shadows and bringing out the reds, oranges, and purples, is absolutely mesmerizing. It’s quieter than some of the more popular points like Hopi or Mather, which makes the experience feel more peaceful and personal. From Mohave Point, you get incredible panoramic views, including a clear look at the Colorado River winding far below. On a clear day, you can even see small sections of rapids. The viewpoint is part of the Hermit Road route, accessible by shuttle bus (or bike/walking if you're up for it), and it's definitely worth the short ride. I recommend going about an hour before sunset to get a good spot and enjoy how the colors change minute by minute. Bring a camera — or just sit and soak it all in. This is one of those places where photos don't do it justice. Overall, Mohave Point is a must-stop if you're exploring the South Rim. Peaceful, dramatic, and full of natural beauty — it’s one of my favorite places in the entire Grand Canyon.

The main sunset location, and it's a busy one. It can be difficult to get a spot near the railings as those fill up very quickly, but with time I was able to snap some photos from a few different places. Well worth visiting.

Cafe
Harvey House Cafe is a classic eatery located inside Bright Angel Lodge near the Grand Canyon trailhead. The cafe offers a variety of classic diner fare and some special Southwestern dishes. Visitors can also explore the small museum, Bright Angel History Room, inside the lodge, which focuses on Fred Harvey, the Harvey Girls, architect Mary Colter, and the Santa Fe Railroad. The restaurant's design is inspired by Mary Colter's work.
For atmosphere, you can’t get much better than right by the Grand Canyon. The food was pretty good and reasonably priced. I got a half-sized southwest Caesar salad that was super good. I also got the fajita chicken quesadilla, and it was pretty big and I had to give half to my husband. It was pretty good, but the salad was better. My husband loved the fish and chips!

Food portion was very generous - one portion could almost definitely be shared between two people. For breakfast, we had and really enjoyed the ‘country skillet’. The dinner items we had were also fine - the steak was good, but the others were okay. The servers in the morning during breakfast were beyond lovely, full of positivity and helpfulness. Servers during dinner time were fine, slightly less visible for help if needed compared to the breakfast servers.

Stopped in on a Wednesday afternoon during our visit to the Grand Canyon. Service was friendly and attentive. Prices as to be expected for the tourist area (some items seemed pretty decently priced, while others seemed a little high). -Green Chili Tamales (good quality/taste) -Chips Salsa & Guac (desperately needed seasoning) -Side Southwest Caesar Salad (large portion, good taste) Overall, would recommend for a nice, casual sitdown meal during your break visiting the Grand Canyon.

Mediocre food but excellent service. Ate both dinner and breakfast here. The pot roast was a very small portion for the price and nothing special. The southwest Caesar salad was unique and tasted pretty good, while the molten chocolate cake for dessert was pretty great. Biscuits and gravy were good but the huevos rancheros eggs were flavorless and the tortillas tasted stale. Our waiter at dinner was amazing! He was funny and helpful, digging up a chocolate cake for us even though he thought they had sold out. He also chased us down when we forgot our credit card after paying the bill. Thank you!!

We had a great dinner and our server was very attentive. The place is bright and has sitting with partial view to the canyon. We had the half chicken with mashed potatoes, the western salad and the apple crisp a la mode which is homemade.

A bit hard to review when you've had 4 meals here and most were average to good and one was truly bad. It's a café so don't get your hopes up wrt to Michelin starred meals. It's always easy to find a place here even without a reservation. And rates are reasonable. And the staff excellent - run off their feet but still smiley and pleasant. This is one of the 3-4 restaurants inside the Grand Canyon Village. That said I will just talk about the one really disappointing meal I had here. I ordered Avacado toast with one egg and it was delivered stone cold. Instead of apologizing for the meal, the waiter gave me a litany of excuses: it was under the cold meal section. I'd have urged him to look at the menu but I didn't think of it then. Under the section I ordered there's also pancakes etc... Does that mean those are served cold too? I think not especially as my husband ordered the corn pancakes and it was quite warm. I've had Avocado toast with an egg on top hundreds of times, and its NEVER EVER been served cold. He said the avocado UNDERNEATH made it cold! Really?!! Then he also told me that the balsamic reduction on top of the toast was also instrumental in making it cold. Yes there was a light drizzle of the reduction on the toast + egg, but it was a slight one and the top was not smothered by it, certainly not enough to make the dish cold. Please see image. He did offer to replace it, but I did not have the time and made do with my husband's meal. It's isn't his fault, he didn't cook it, but perhaps a better understanding of what he is serving, an apology and not defend - and continue to defend - the indefensible?!!! That was really pissing off.

TLDR: Good food, good service, great atmosphere and depending on where you sit, pleasant views. There was an exceptionally long wait at the main entrance but over at the bar, tables are first come, first served! We found a table as another group was leaving (they told us to take their table to avoid a long wait!) We started with a few drinks- although honestly I don’t remember what we ordered. The beer on draught list is pretty good- and I know I ordered something from there but don’t remember what. Oh well! It was good! For appetizer, we ordered the Southwest Queso Cheese Dip (Zesty Cheese Dip, Tri Color Tortilla Chips) which was pretty good. One of us ordered the Tortilla Black Bean Soup (Black Beans, Hominy, Corn Green Chili. Fire Roasted Tomatoes, Southwest Spices, Chipotle Pepper, Tortilla Strips) and enjoyed it. It wasn’t too hot, and was a decent amount of food without being too much. Green Chili Corn Tamale (Southwest Rice, Roasted Green Chili, Ranchero Sauce, Lime Crema, Cotija Cheese) - I ordered this and it was fantastic! One of my favorite meals while in Arizona! I would highly recommend. Chicken Club Sandwich (Fried or Grilled Chicken Breast, Bacon Swiss Cheese, Green Onion Mayo, Lettuce Tomato, Onion, Pickle, French Fries) -one member in our party ordered this and said that it was good but very filling, so she only finished half of it. Spaghetti Western (Spaghetti, Meatballs, Zesty Marinara Parmesan Cheese, Garlic Toast) - the person who ordered this loved it and would recommend. I’d recommend eating here. The staff is lives, friendly and gets the food out quickly.

Bright Angel Bikes & Café at Grand Canyon Visitor Center is a lively café and espresso bar that serves sandwiches, soups, and drinks with a focus on local and seasonal ingredients. It's conveniently located near the main Visitor Center where visitors can enjoy ranger chats, watch a short movie about the park, explore exhibits on local flora and fauna, rent bikes from Bright Angel Bicycles, or take in the stunning canyon viewpoint at Mather Point.
The Hermit Road Bike Tour was great! It gets you away from the crowded overlooks, and you get to bike at the Grand Canyon! This was the perfect tour for our group of 8, ranging in age from 4-67 to enjoy together! The guides were awesome and provided lots of great info! The Hermit Road tour is mostly downhill, and the road isn’t crowded. Also a plus- they had XXL bikes for the extra tall folks in our party, tagalong bike for the 6 year old, and a trailer for the 4 year old to ride in style! Everyone was taken care of, and this was a highlight of our week in Arizona.

Absolutely the highlight of our trip! Canyon Adventures Bike Tours and Café was not only the most affordable option, but hands-down the most fun experience we had. We picked a scenic route with stunning views, and a stop at a barn where we got to pet mules—and even spotted some elk! The customer service was outstanding. Liz got us set up quickly and was super friendly, and the real hero was Randal who went above and beyond by mailing back a hoodie we accidentally left behind. Truly exceptional service. Highly recommend!

Had no idea this was so close to Phoenix (~3 hrs). This is a must. Now we know why the Grand Canyon is one of the great wonders of the world. Renting ebikes is the way to go. You won't have to wait for the busses and can go wherever you want whenever you want! The staff is GREAT. The bikes are easy to ride. This is the way to see the GC!

We wanted to rent e-bikes but they wouldn't let my 5' tall 12 year old rent one so we got regular peddle bikes. This would have been fine if they had also been more forthcoming about the steep incline we faced from the first lookout (trail view I think) on the way to Hermits Rest! If you do this with kids I suggest that you put the bikes on the bus and ride to Hermits Rest, then bike BACK. Otherwise, the bikes were in good condition and easy to get without advanced reservation.

My family and I rented bikes in Acadia, Zion, Grand Canyon and Yellowstone. Canyon Adventures and riding bikes in the Grand Canyon was the best ride we did by a long shot. The staff were super helpful and knowledgeable! Nate? was the best we encountered at all the parks we visited. His enthusiasm was contagious and he made our experience fun and smooth.
Paul S — Google review
We rented e-bikes for a full day cycling around the grand Canyon and enjoyed very much the beautiful views across the over 44km of road and cycle path covered. Definitely the most enjoyable way to cover all view points across red and orange routes. However, I must say that I was a bit disappointed with the quality of the e-bikes for the price paid, since we previously rented some e-bikes on Zion National Park that were not only cheaper but way better in terms of assistance (you could be lazy and drive for long time). Too expensive for what you get, but the experience of cycling the grand canyon is still worth it.

Nestled within the El Tovar Hotel, the El Tovar Dining Room offers an elegant American dining experience with breathtaking views of the Grand Canyon from select tables. Reservations are highly recommended, especially for dinner, and can be made up to six months in advance with room reservations at El Tovar or 30 days in advance without. The restaurant boasts an extensive wine list featuring over 100 varieties, including award-winning selections that have earned recognition from Wine Spectator magazine.
The El Tovar Dining Room is quite an experience. We reserved ahead of time and were delighted to get a window seat facing the Grand Canyon upon arrival. Although I had read many online reviews highlighting the El Tovar Hotel's location, I was still surprised by the stunning views from the Dining Room, and I'm sure other guests will find them equally spectacular. Just as unique as the location, the food was magnificent too. My breakfast consisted of the truly unique and delicious trio pancake, complete with pine nut butter and wild honey, as well as prickly pear syrup, complementing the flavorful pancakes. This, along with some good coffee, made my meal perfect. My kid and wife enjoyed the Asparagus Omelet and Spinach Omelet, served with toast, fries, etc. The grandeur of the Hotel reception and the antique pieces on display made it a memorable experience for all of us

We spent the Labor Day long weekend at the Grand Canyon with family, and since we stayed at the historic El Tovar Hotel, we also booked dinner at their dining room. Honestly, I didn’t expect much — for a restaurant right next to a major tourist attraction, I thought as long as the food wasn’t bad, it would be fine. But the experience completely exceeded my expectations. The food was outstanding — far better than I ever imagined! Every dish was delicious, well-prepared, and beautifully presented. Highlights included: Sonoran Shrimp with Chipotle Cream – sautéed shrimp with cilantro lime rice and cactus caviar. Unique, layered flavors that really stood out. Seared Steelhead Trout – citrus agave glaze, blue corn nokake, and cactus caviar. Tender, flavorful, with rich textures — it’s been years since I’ve had fish this good. (If you love fish, this one is a must-try!) Elk Bolognese – tomato ragout, ground elk, mozzarella, parmesan, fresh basil, and bucatini with toasted garlic bread. Absolutely delicious, with no downside at all. Other dishes we tried were also above average, but these three stood out as truly memorable. Service was friendly and professional, even on a packed holiday weekend. Overall, this dinner was one of the biggest surprises of our Grand Canyon trip. If you think national park restaurants are “just good enough,” El Tovar will change your mind. Highly recommended — make a reservation, it’s worth it!

Perfect Mix of History, Flavor & Grand Canyon Magic We had the most wonderful birthday dinner at El Tovar Restaurant, and I just have to say—it was one of those experiences you don’t forget. The service, the food, the views… everything was spot on. Our waiter Austen was amazing—so attentive and kind—and his assistant Charlie was just as great. They went out of their way to make my husband’s birthday special, even surprising him with a warm chocolate-chip cookie dessert topped with caramel sauce and vanilla bean ice cream. Oh my goodness, it was scrumptious. From the onion soup and house salad with prickly pear dressing to the fresh bread basket with homemade garlic butter, every bite was perfection. My husband raved about his filet mignon with poblano mashed potatoes, and my shrimp entrée was delicious. The historic charm and canyon views made the whole evening feel timeless. Huge thanks to management for Austen and Charlie’s incredible service—they made our night unforgettable.

Amazing historic dining room right near the Grand Canyon. Our server, Corey, was great. The food was just one click from being really great : the French Onion soup was delicious but the cheese on top was a bit too burned, the chili has a delicious taste but was a little dry, and the ham and cheese sandwich has too much “soft cheese” on top. Prices were a little high, but not unreasonable for a tourist spot. VictorB

The Bison burger was amazing. They even had a gluten free bun. The pepper just added the extra flavor. My hubby had the shaved prim rib sandwich and my friend had the turkey sandwich. Everyone enjoyed their dish. Our server even swapped out the fries, which had a coating on them, so she offered sides, and I chose spaghetti squash. But, I forgot to take a picture of that.

Yavapai Lodge is the largest lodge in Grand Canyon Village, conveniently located near the South Rim. The property offers comfortable and budget-friendly rooms with modern amenities. Guests can enjoy a variety of dining options including Southwestern fare, classic dishes, and grab-and-go food at the coffee shop. The lodge's central location provides easy access to nearby facilities and shuttle bus stops for convenient exploration of the area.
Very enjoyable stay at Yavapai Lodge. We stayed two nights in mid October in the west block. We checked in after watching the sunset at Mather Point and there was no wait. The staff was friendly and polite. The west block was super quiet and the parking is very convenient, right close to the room. The outside lights were very dim at night; we needed our phone light to find the trail to the tavern/cafeteria. There is a shuttle stop right there, which makes it very easy to go from point A to point B without having to worry about parking. The room seemed "renovated", except the bathroom. There was little to no space for our toiletries. Other than that, no complains. We would return. We booked through Hotels.com and saved approximately $100 CAD/night.

Our experience at the Park and at the Lodge in general was great. We really enjoyed the park during our stay. However, I have to point something about our room, not as a critic but something that would make the place more enjoyable. We stayed at room 7104 and since we opened the door, a strong odor pops out and remained during our night stay. We believe it was the carpet so it could be easily resolved with a deep clean. That little change will make this place even better.

My wife and I stayed at the lodge for two nights in October, 2025. We initially had some trouble checking in and had to switch rooms but Kim came to the rescue and did a GREAT job helping us. The area around the lodge is very convenient with the store, the post office, the dining options, and the shuttle bus stops. The drive to the Bright Angel Trail, which I was hiking early was very easy to get to. We did see some cob webs in the ceiling corners but the room was very adequate and the coffee maker worked great. The whole experience was actually better than expected, except for those initial problems.

Enjoyed a 1 night stay with a group of friends. Check in was easy and the self serve kiosk helped us skip a longer line at the front desk. Food in the tavern and dining hall was convenient and staff was super nice! We loved the hot chocolate after watching the sunrise at Yavapai Point. We also loved how close we were to major viewpoints and that we were actually inside the National Park. The room was comfortable and the bathroom amenities were decent. No issues with noise, cleanliness, or staff. Would 100% return for future trips! Next time I hope we get to stay a little longer.

Perfect place to stay to visit the Grand Canyon. Internet worked great, rooms were clean and comfortable. Had a frig for my granddaughters special food. Right nearby is a regular little grocery store. The staff was extremely helpful. It is so nice to be able to just swing by the lodge to get lunch or to even rest a bit without leaving the park

I had family coming in to Arizona for the first time, and they wanted to see the grand canyon. We decided to stay on site so we could see the sunrise. When we checked in, we got the most unique key card; it looked like a piece of wood. The room was nothing special. Bed and bathroom. Only big issue was there was no hand soap in the dispenser. The sink height was not fun to work with. I'm a 5'9" male and the countertop came to my hips. Beds were quite comfy and the added mini fridge was a nice perk. The lodge has a nice breakfast buffet for around $20. Eggs, breakfast meats, fried apples, and all your major breakfast staples. Overall, a nice place to lay your head if you're exploring the south rim.
Shawn L — Google review
The main advantage of Yavapai lodge is that it's right in the middle of the Grand Canyon area, so you don't have to drive an hour to and from the national park to begin your exploration. This benefit has its price though, as the hotel was about 60% more expensive that similar category accomodation elsewhere in the region. Still, the location was worth it. The room itself was OK, with the carpet a little bit on the dirty side, and the washbasin (sink) in the bathroom almost falling off the wall. But the beds were clean and comfortable, and the fridge and coffee maker were a nice touch. Check in and check out was unfortunately quite slow due to large queues.
Xevronixussor C — Google review
Spacious, clean, rustic rooms. Could use some updating, especially the bathroom sink was really low and the floors were quite squeaky, but can’t beat the location and price. Stayed at the East Lodge facing the forest and saw several Elk outside our window! We opted to stay here instead of the village to be away from people. It is a further walk to the rim trail, about 10-15 minutes, but there is a shuttle bus nearby. Its in the middle of the woods which is what we prefer. Suggest to bring flashlights as there are very few lights at night and the tavern and lodge is a few minutes walk. As mentioned the floors are very squeaky and we could hear the people walking upstairs so would opt for a second floor room next time.

Situated on the South Rim of the Grand Canyon in Arizona, this architectural marvel offers stunning panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Modeled after ancient Puebloan watchtowers, it features Native American motifs and artwork by Hopi artist Frank Kabotie.
A must-see stop at the Grand Canyon! The Desert View Watchtower offers some of the most breathtaking panoramic views of the canyon. The architecture is stunning—rich in history and beautifully designed to reflect Native American culture. Climbing to the top is totally worth it for the views alone, and the artwork inside adds so much character and meaning to the experience. It was peaceful, not overly crowded, and a great place to take photos, relax, and soak in the beauty of the canyon from a unique perspective. Whether it's your first visit to the Grand Canyon or your tenth, don’t miss this spot!

It's on the South Rim of the Grand Canyon, about 20-25 miles east of Grand Canyon Village toward the East Entrance. The Desert View Watchtower, a Mary Colter-designed structure from 1932 with murals, lookout points, and sweeping views. Desert View Drive, is a scenic road along the rim with various viewpoints and overlooks. The views from Desert View are often praised as outstanding. The Watchtower offers eastern views of the canyon and river, plus wide panoramas that are less crowded than the more central Grand Canyon viewpoints. Less crowded compared to the main Grand Canyon Village rim viewpoints, Desert View tends to have fewer crowds esp If you want a somewhat more relaxed spot to enjoy sunrise/sunset without fighting the main tourist traffic.

Beautiful stop with incredible views! The Desert View Watchtower is absolutely worth the visit. The lines to climb to the top can be a bit long, but it’s totally worth the wait once you see the breathtaking panoramic views of the Grand Canyon and the Colorado River below. Along the short walk from the parking lot to the tower, there’s a clean and well-stocked bathroom available — always appreciated in the desert heat! There’s also a convenient deli and gift store where you can grab snacks, drinks, or souvenirs, and it’s one of the spots where you can get your Grand Canyon National Park passport stamp. Overall, this is a must-stop viewpoint — beautiful architecture, great amenities, and one of the most stunning outlooks in the entire park.

What can be said that has not already been said. This is a piece of American history! Towering 70 feet over the rim of the eastern end of the Grand Canyon, this tower is a beacon of inspiration. Designed by Mary Colter and inspired by ancestral Puebloan architecture, this collection of hand crafter stonework and artistic murals is a must see for all visitors of the Grand Canyon. Open to explore inside and out, this is a treat for visitors of all ages. Please do not skip this!

The tower is a work of art. Looks weathered but esthetically nice. The surround is well planned. The sunset is great. But, sadly, we visited during tje shutdown and restrooms are closed.

It’s a 30 min drive from grand canyon visitor center. The Desert View Watchtower is one of the most striking spots on the South Rim. The stone tower’s design perfectly complements the canyon, and the interior murals beautifully showcase Native American art and culture. It’s a quieter area with fewer crowds, ideal for enjoying the scenery in peace. This viewpoint overlooks the site of the 1956 Grand Canyon aircraft crash — a significant event in aviation history. A must-visit for its incredible views, cultural detail, and quiet reflection.

This place was cool, both inside and out. It is nicely decorated and provides a great view with $.25 viewers on the top floor. Absolutely beautiful surroundings.

Second time I visit this place, and probably not the last. Outstanding views of the grand canyon. Specially for the sunrise. In order to get to the top of the watchtower, you need to pay. But is worth it. If not, you can walk arround and find lots of different spots to watch the canyon and all its sights.

Navajo Point is a must-visit overlook along the South Rim of the Grand Canyon, offering some of the most exceptional and panoramic views. It provides a stunning vantage point to witness the meandering Colorado River as it flows through the canyon. The area is also renowned for its breathtaking Arizona sunsets, with the canyon walls coming alive with vibrant colors as shadows stretch across the valleys below.
I visited this view point by car as my one day Grand Canyon trip in beginning of November. Wow this is one of the most beautiful views of Grand Canyon. I could spend hours just sitting and watching but cold weather in November is limiting it. Decent amount of parking spots but no bathrooms available at this viewpoint.

This viewpoint is the highest vista viewpoint on the south rim of the canyon and another excellent location to witness where the Colorado River carved out a masterpiece over millions of years. Standing here at the edge of this natural wonder, the vast expanse of rusty red and burnt orange hues that stretches out before you are a breathtaking testament to the power of erosion. What we love most is the crisp and clean smell of the air, filled with the sweet scent of pine and the sound of ravens calling in the distance. There is a circular parking lot, which is safely located off Desert View Drive and is one of the larger viewpoint parking lots along the east side of Grand Canyon National Park. The parking lot only has a limited number of oversized or small RV parking spaces, and we did not see any handicapped parking spaces. The parking lot is open 24 hours with a few recycling bins but there are no restroom facilities. Whether you're a seasoned hiker or just looking for a scenic drive, this viewpoint has something for everyone. Take a deep breath, grab your camera, and get ready to be awestruck by one of the most iconic views in the American West.

Super easy access from the highway. It wasn’t even perfect day for the lighting. Still I couldn’t take a bad. Pic🫶🏼 So sad that we’ve lost our trail access to the bottom. The only remaining access is 4 miles down on Bright Angel Hopefully things will improve in 2026. we are all hoping for rain. We’ve practically missed them monsoon season. Still a very beautiful place to stay, vacation and to come see the beautiful canyon in all her glory. 😳🔥🏜️☀️

Amazing view and experience. Honestly, I didn't realize how majestic the place is until I saw it in person; absolutely stunning. I would recommend checking the weather the day before to get a clear view. There are several points to stop by, so consider stopping at each one. If you are in a hurry, you can do it in around 1 hour, but it's better to give it around 3 hours to enjoy the view and the sunset.

We came back into the Grand Canyon National Park to catch the sunset before heading back to our hotel in Peoria, Arizona. The man at the gate was super nice and even told us which spot to drive to so we could catch it and it would be less crowded. He was so right, there was only a tour jeep and us at this spot. We arrived just in time to get front row seats to this beautiful sunset!!!

Moran Point, located along the Desert View Drive at the Grand Canyon National Park, is named after the renowned artist Thomas Moran. His captivating landscape paintings played a significant role in establishing the national park status for the Grand Canyon. At Moran Point, visitors can admire the ancient rock formations and brilliant colors of the canyon walls, including layers of prehistoric rock such as Vishnu Schist and Zoroaster granite.
Almost skipped this viewpoint but happy we didn’t. Another amazing view of the canyon. I honestly don’t think you can go wrong with any of the viewpoints. This viewpoint also has a good view of the Colorado River flowing. Took some nice photos here and had a nice view from the sun setting

This viewpoint offers a magnificent view of the Grand Canyon and has several viewing areas including taking the trail for a short distance for even a closer look at this marvel of nature. Just a short distance from the parking lot, you will walk through a small teardrop park area before reaching the viewing area for a stunning view. There are several recycling bins in the parking lot but there are no restrooms at this location. The parking lot is limited with only a few spaces for oversized vehicles or small RVs. The viewpoint is open 24 hours, but no overnight camping or fires are allowed.

This lookout area was a bit foggy when we went, but we could still make out plenty of great views. Actually, the way the fog moved itself was pretty cool. As with most of the lookout points, there was enough parking, and there were walkways, and you could get off the walkways as well and explore.

This place is beautiful too, but I'm getting a little visually fatigued, haha. When I look at the photos after getting home, it feels so magnificent again. This spot is great for taking a few pictures and checking off a couple of points, and you can be done in about 30 minutes. It doesn't seem to have any particularly amazing viewpoints or angles, but I still recommend that everyone go see it.

Grandview Point at the Grand Canyon is one of the most breathtaking viewpoints you’ll ever see in your life. 🏜️✨ The name says it all — the view is truly grand. Standing there, you feel the full scale and silence of the canyon — endless layers of color, light, and shadow stretching as far as the eye can see. It’s one of those places that makes you stop, forget about everything, and just breathe. This spot is less crowded than some of the more popular overlooks like Mather Point, which makes it even more special. You can actually hear the wind and the echo of the canyon. It’s perfect for sunrise or sunset — the light completely transforms the landscape. 🌅 There’s also a hiking trail starting from here (the Grandview Trail), but it’s quite steep, so make sure you have proper shoes and water if you decide to go down. If you want to truly feel the spirit of the Grand Canyon — vast, timeless, and humbling — Grandview Point is the place. Absolutely unforgettable. 💫

Yaki Point is a remote lookout and shuttle stop that offers stunning views of the Grand Canyon, making it a popular spot for watching both sunrise and sunset. Visitors can also enjoy evening park ranger programs and dark-sky star-gazing. During the day, there are plenty of activities to do such as hiking on Bright Angel or South Kaibab Trails, attending free ranger talks, and exploring the visitor centers.
A viewpoint you can’t get to by car. Hint. Arrive early. Skip the visitors center. Go straight to the orange bus line. We were nearly alone. Spectacular!

Amazing location to watch the sunrise over the Grand Canyon! Just be aware that you can’t drive your own vehicle here. There are a couple of pull offs that you can park at, but you will have to walk approximately 1.2 miles up a very slight incline to get to Yaki point. There is a nice trail that follows the southern rim with plenty of good photo opportunities. No guard rails here though so be careful!

James B — Google review
Such a pretty spot to see the sunset. There's no car parking allowed, so you have to take the shuttle. Quickest way is just park at the visitor center and then take the Orange Shuttle (runs every 15 minutes) and then from there, it's a 9 minute drive to the Yaki Point. The point itself is accessible via a short gravel path (takes you less than a minute) and you'll be treated to sweeping views of the canyon. Really beautiful too after sunset when the dusk colors make the canyon walls look painted.

What else needs to be said other than purely amazing! All of the points at the grand canyon offer fantastic views and this is no exception to that but you need to see this in person as a camera does not capture the grandeur of this spectacular place.

Ooh Aah Point is a stunning viewpoint located beneath the rim of the Grand Canyon, offering breathtaking sunrise vistas. It's easily accessible from the South Kaibab trailhead, making it one of the easiest hikes into the canyon. The trail opens up to a 180-degree expanse at Ooh Aah Point, providing a different perspective as the view stretches in front and around you with towering canyon walls.
One of the best places in the entire world. Just a reminder that the hike to get here and back is NOT easy. Coming down here is like a 70 story skyscraper. However, once you get down there, you did it. You have the option to hike all the way down to the bottom of the canyon, but it’s not recommended to do in one day. If you’re looking for a challenging yet moderate hike, this is the best place to stop. Plus, the views are amazing! Overall, would definitely recommend if you’re healthy.
Landon B — Google review
Tips from a mediocre hiker: GO EARLY! It’s an oven below the rim and once the sun passes over the cliffs (mid morning/early afternoon) you won’t be able to escape the blazing heat. It can easily feel above 100 below the rim. Stay hydrated (preferably a few days or maybe even a week prior to the hike) but include electrolytes - this part is very important. I give five stars for the view, but I would keep in mind this is not an easy trail. Although it is marked, it is not paved, and it can be uneven and steep. Not ideal for people with knee, ankle, or back issues. I would also warn against hiking this trail if you have high blood pressure or heart problems, particularly in the afternoon.
Pamela H — Google review
Ooh Aah Point is a moderately tough hike, but the views are incredible. We went up to Cedar Ridge—took about 3.5 hours round trip. Best to go early morning in spring or fall to avoid heat and crowds.
Vaibhav J — Google review
First you do "ooh", and then you do "aah". I was able to do it in <2 hours, down and up. Fantastic views into the canyon all the way. Do it early in the morning (eg. 8 - 10) as most of the track is still shaded. Bring water!
Jakub P — Google review
Must-Do! It feels like a real cheat code that you can reach such an amazing viewpoint with such a short hike. The other reviews are correct in the fact that no photo will do this scenery full justice. You have to see it for yourself! Classic switchback route but comfortably easy.
Jess R — Google review
A short and fun hike that feels infinite when you’re coming back up! Take water with you, I would 100% recommend you to take hiking poles if you have them, and enjoy the views
Sidney R — Google review
The hike up has a lot of stairs so be prepared to stop frequently, also bring LOTS of water. Definitely a “moderate”difficulty but the view is STUNNING! Worth every step!
Abigail A — Google review
Little tough if you have breathing problems at higher altitudes, particularly at the switchbacks. But the view is amazing at the end and it's not super long. Some people say this is easy but it was a little muddy and icy in late March so I'd say moderate. Watch out for the donkey poop on the trail 🫣

The Yavapai Geology Museum, located on the South Rim of the Grand Canyon, offers a topographic relief model of the canyon and stunning panoramic views from Yavapai Point Overlook. The museum features geologic displays, interpretive exhibits, and a bookstore with gifts and souvenirs. It's a great indoor activity option during inclement weather or for those interested in fossils and geology.
If you’re interested in geology, especially of the Grand Canyon, this is a great place to spend some time. There was no charge other than park admission but they request donations. The glass walls offer an expansive view and the exhibits include a lot of information. The descriptions are well written and would be very good for children as well as adults.

Yavapai Point offers one of the most breathtaking views of the Grand Canyon. The location of the Geological Museum was carefully selected by geologists to showcase the canyon’s most stunning and informative vantage point. Inside, the museum provides fascinating insights into the formation of the canyon, as well as the many layers of rock exposed by millions of years of erosion. It’s a must-visit for anyone interested in the natural history of the area. Just be aware that it can get quite crowded around sunset, and the viewing area is relatively small—so try to visit during off-peak hours for the best experience. If you go there for sunset, you can sit on the ledges to the left of the museum where it’s less crowded.

The last time I was at the Grand Canyon was when I was 15 with my mom and sister during a cross country road trip. That was more than 45 years ago. It was just as amazing today as it was then. We left the KOA outside of Williams, AZ early AM to get they're about the same time as the sun getting up. Pretty chilly still when we arrived at the South Rim. It warmed up quickly once the sun got higher up in the sky. Awesome views!

The Yavapai area of the Grand Canyon offers some of the most stunning and accessible views along the South Rim. The trail around Yavapai Point is easy to walk and perfect for all fitness levels, making it ideal for families or casual hikers. You get breathtaking panoramic views without needing to do a strenuous hike. There are several lookout spots along the way where you can stop, take photos, and just take in the vastness of the canyon. It’s especially beautiful around sunrise or sunset, when the colors of the rocks really come to life. The nearby Yavapai Geology Museum adds a great educational element to the visit. The South Rim Trail is a thrilling hiking path that offers stunning Grand Canyon views and convenient shuttle service. This trail is a nature lover's paradise, with each step revealing breathtaking vistas of the rugged beauty of the canyon. Along the way, hikers can explore an outdoor interpretative display that traces the canyon's geological history over 2.1 billion years in just over a mile.
Loved it! Do not purchase a pass until you get to the gate if you have someone who is disabled or military. (You will be pleasantly surprised.) Pass allowed us to travel with our loved one and see the rim without the hike. Views are amazing and hospitality at the lodge and visitors centers was excellent.
Rebecca C — Google review
I highly recommend the Rim Trail for all accessibility and experience levels. Its the perfect morning trail for a one day visit in the park, complete with history, wildlife, and tons of information so I could understand what I was taking in. The edge sits at an elevation of 7,129 ft and is usually cooler than the canyon by about 30 degrees Fahrenheit (17 degrees Celsius). So, in summer after sunrise it was already getting close to 100 degrees Fahrenheit by the time I started hiking, just for a frame of reference. From Mather, I first saw signs to look down and see the Colorado and the Suspension Bridge. Then, it was a clear enough day at the Yavapai Geology Museum that I could see Mt Trumbull 62 miles away. Next I hit the educational main event, the Trail of Time. So well curated with explanation and markers setting the pace of time, along with samples from the geological layers being referenced. The scientific research shared is presented so well. I could do a whole video on what I learned from this one section of trail. Stop to read and take in the samples. It’s so worth it. And believe me, you’re going to stop anyway for the views. There will be a couple of forks in the trail for accessibility sake, but they always link back up. I finished The Trail of Time and headed on to see more Park and Pre-Park history in the Village, which began to be developed in the 1890’s. All in all, I clocked in at just 3.5 miles, from Mather Point to Bright Angel Trailhead. I recommend it highly, especially to those who need amenities and accessibility along the trail.

The South Tim Trail is stunning and easy to access. It’s all paved road, easy to walk for all ages. It’s also dog friendly. We are visiting on New Year’s, plenty of people on the trail but not too crowded. Great weather: sunny and warm, great visibility. Would definitely recommend it as a perfect designation for multi-generational family travels.. Free shuttle between lodges, hotels, visitor centers and trail heads. Plenty of places to eat.

Wow. There is nothing quite like this anywhere I’ve visited. You gaze at what looks like a perfect oil painting, hard to fathom the depth or majesty of the scene in front of you of you. As you walk along this trail the light and composition changes constantly refreshing the view you experience. It’s a unique experience despite hiking many trails and climbing many mountains. It’s worth flying thousands of miles, driving hundreds of miles and paying for expensive accommodation just to stand and gaze for a few hours. If you’ve not been, then plan a trip, it really is a once in a lifetime opportunity.

Hermit's Rest, a historic structure designed in the National Park rustic style by architect Mary Colter in 1914, serves as a rest stop along Hermit Road. This road offers some of the most stunning viewpoints in Grand Canyon National Park and is closed to private vehicles from March through November. Visitors can enjoy canyon viewing and easy hiking without traffic or parking issues, thanks to the free shuttle buses that stop at eight overlooks along the route.
The last stop on my Grand Canyon visit. Ended the day with a beautiful sunset and the colors were amazing of the canyon and the sky! The grand canon was so amazing and I loved all the stops. I first did the south kabob hike and view points then made my way to the west side of the canyon to hit the many view points along the ways. I probably stopped at about six viewpoints from the kabob hike/viewpoint, but there were so many other viewpoints and stops to see along the way as well, unfortunately I was running out of time and sunlight. At hermits rest there’s this viewpoint then there’s a really big cool looking hike that I didn’t get to on but it looked amazing, it will take you further west and down the canyon! There were bathrooms here and a gift shop! Plenty of parking too. I posted some of the “few” things I brought while there, lots of cool stickers and shirts and other cool finds there too. If you’re heading to this this is the furthest point you can drive on the south side visit. If your here I highly recommend coming down this far to see this or hike and the all the other amazing view points on the way. If your here I have time as well I would recommend attempting the hike or some it! The bus route can and will bring you down this far as well if you needed that. Helpful people working inside the gift shop if you had any questions as well. Enjoy!

A Scenic Hike, A Historic Fireplace… and a Slight Oops 😅 Hermit’s Rest — what a name, right? Sounds like you’re about to uncover some ancient, mystical hideaway. Well, spoiler alert: it’s basically a cute old stone house with snacks and souvenirs. BUT — getting there? Totally worth it. The hike out was absolutely gorgeous — nature in full HD. Birds, squirrels, chipmunks, lizards doing their little push-ups... even a deer or two giving us the classic Grand Canyon side-eye. The trail was peaceful, filled with shade, sweeping views, and that kind of crisp air that makes you question your life in the city. Now, Hermit’s Rest itself? Let’s just say the journey was the real reward. It’s a charming little stop with history and character, but not exactly mind-blowing. Still, it felt great to kick back for a bit, grab a cold drink, and imagine what it must’ve been like to live out there as a legit Hermit. Small confession, though... I may or may not have accidentally leaned on Hermit’s historic fireplace (yes, that fireplace), and a few ancient stones may or may not have crumbled off. 😬 But I swear I tried to put them back as best as I could! If the fireplace looks extra rustic now — that might be on me. Sorry, Hermit. All in all? 10/10 would do again. A great hike, beautiful nature, and just the right amount of unintentional vandalism. Bring water, bring snacks, and maybe don’t lean on 100-year-old structures. 😅

The Red Shuttle begins running at 8am and will arrive to Hermit's Rest around 8:30am. The store does not open until 9am. There are bathrooms that were surprisingly well maintained even during the government shut down. The hike back to thr Grand Canyon Village is pretty nice.

Hermit Rest is the western edge of the park and is a tranquil oasis nestled among the towering pine trees of the Grand Canyon's South Rim. The area is surrounded by the natural beauty of one of the world's most iconic wonders. Here you will find vault toilets, picnic areas, hiking trails, viewpoints, a snack bar and of course, a gift shop, we cannot forget that. After arriving on foot or shuttle bus, walk west along the path to the Hermit rest house, which is now the gift shop. Make sure to read the numerous informational bulletin boards along the walkway for more information about the location and its background. If you walk a little further past the rest house, you just might get luck and spot some of the local wildlife, especially during the early morning or late afternoon hours.

Very interesting historic location in the canyon for travelers. Cozy, small rest stop with an assortment of food snacks coffee and drinks. Water refills outside with restrooms nearby. Trailhead just down the road
Toby P — Google review
TL;DR: Hermits Rest at the Grand Canyon is a scenic stop with restrooms, a gift shop, and incredible views. Limited parking, so plan accordingly. Hermits Rest, located on the western edge of the South Rim of the Grand Canyon, is a great place to start your exploration of the Hermits Rest Trail. This scenic spot features pit toilet restrooms, a gift shop, a small café, and breathtaking views that stretch for miles. The location is at the end of a loop road, and parking is limited, so be prepared for that. It’s a neat stop to take in the beauty of the Grand Canyon while grabbing a snack or souvenir before hitting the trail. Definitely worth checking out!

This is the last stop of the free [red] bus ride in Grand Canyon Village. The bus makes several stops at other viewpoints before reaching here. This is the only view stop where you're going to find snacks and drinks. The view of the Grand Canyon is not as grand as at the other bus stops. But I recommend it.

100 year old store building with some great gifts. A bundle of three t-shirts for $39. Oh, and the views are spectacular.

Desert View Market and Deli

Deli
The grocery store Desert View Market and Deli is located in the plaza of the Desert View Watchtower, which is a popular tourist destination in Grand Canyon National Park. The store has a limited range of items, including snacks and drinks, souvenirs, and basic groceries. The deli is currently closed for renovations, but will be reopened when it's finished.
Lovely suprise to find this gem of a place. Good range of food and supplies to buy in the Market. Deli has tasty food and drinks at a reasonable price. Staff were lovely
Val F — Google review
This shop can be found near the Desert View Watchtower and offers a variety of items inside, including gift shop items, souvenirs, clothing and food items as well as a deli shop. Heck, they even sell wine here. The marketplace is the thing you will find close to a standard grocery store or convenience store for miles around. The staff is helpful and friendly so there are no complaints here. The deli offers a variety of different food options and on this cold, snowy day, hot soup and coffee hit the spot. The food prices are not that bad, considering where you are, and the gift shop prices are what you would expect for this type of location. Overall, it was a well-maintained facility, clean and friendly staff.

What a find, wasn't expecting this by the watchtower. Hot and cold food, drinks, beer, all sorts of gifts and practical supplies for camper vans, hikers etc The deli is outstanding, very reasonable prices co sideline the location

The grilled chicken sandwich & pulled pork sandwich was terrible!!! The grilled chicken didn’t even look like grilled chicken. I actually had to look inside to make sure it was and that it was cooked through. Texture was terrible. The pulled pork was so greasy that the bottom bun was completely soggy from the grease. What little bit of barbecue sauce was on top was good but it was not mixed in. Two other people in our group got the pizza and that was decent.

After a walk around the park. We had decided to eat before leaving for the afternoon. Wow. The food is amazing. We had the Smoked Pulled Pork Sandwich and the Canyon Chicken Breast Sandwich. Definitely would recommend both. I absolutely love the pulled pork sandwich. Especially with the slaw. If you're in the neighborhood. Check them out.

Very nice shop that not only has souvenirs, but they also sell some of the necessities you might need while staying here- it's kind of like a mini supermarket. They also have some clothing options too at the back, and they have a deli. The store is well-organized, and they have accessible entrance. There's seating outside too if you want to enjoy your meal.

There are several shops near the Desert View Watchtower, and I think this little gem is overlooked. I did have lunch, but I picked up some water and souvenirs and the young man working on wed April 9th in the afternoon was SO nice. Just wanted to give him a shout out. He even helped us as we were using the self checkout.

Yavapai Lodge Dining Hall

Cafeteria
Restaurant
Nestled on the East side of Grand Canyon Village, the Yavapai Lodge Dining Hall is a delightful all-day eatery that serves up a delicious array of American and Southwestern cuisine in a relaxed cafeteria-style setting. Recently remodeled, this dining spot offers a serene alternative to the busier restaurants around the South Rim, making it an ideal choice for those seeking comfort and convenience.
We celebrated Thanksgiving with these amazing folks. During our travels, we made it to the Grand Canyon for the holiday. We were thrilled to learn about the feast they prepared. Everything was delicious and the staff was very caring and nice. We can’t tell you how much we appreciated your efforts and care.

Ordered the chuck wagon "buffet" You pay at a kiosk and go up and pick your food. So not really a buffet. Anyway the portions were an absolute joke! The corn was soggy and cold, pork was dried right out. Even the dessert tasted like sweaty socks YUCK! Everything was cold. For $25 I expected alot better. DO NOT GO HERE! PS. Going over to the general store to buy a gallon of pepto bismol just in case.

We really enjoyed dinner here. Servers were kind. We ordered whole chicken with coleslaw and mashed potato, salmon with rice, meatball spagetti. Each food was great (and not too salty, we loved that) and price was quite reasonable!

I am writing regarding a dining experience at the Yavapai Dining Room on August 9, 2025, when my family and I stayed at Yavapai Lodge (August 9–10). We visited the dining room at around 8:00 PM and ordered spaghetti, curry, and chicken, totaling $60.89 (paid by credit card). After waiting 40 minutes, we were told the curry was still being prepared and asked to wait longer. At 9:00 PM, when I checked again, I was informed that both the curry and chicken were not ready, and the spaghetti had dried out. Eventually, the curry and chicken were prepared, but due to the long wait, the staff member (a woman wearing a headscarf) kindly adjusted the bill. I paid $20.30 for the spaghetti again and was told that the remaining amount from the original payment would be refunded to my account within 24 hours. I'm waiting because the refund hasn't been processed yet. I had to pay both $60.89 and $20.30 to the credit card company. Why is there no way to contact you on the phone? Please let me know your email address.

Pretty good for a dining hall. Food came out at odd times (like a 10 min gap between entrees on the same order being brought out) but the staff was nice. Salad with chicken was good and fresh. Fettuccine Alfredo was under seasoned but cooked properly.

Breakfast was okay. One of us ordered the travelers breakfast and got some ala cart items. The sausage I got was cold but tasted good. Son enjoyed his French toast. Dinner was much better. My mom and I got a large chuck wagon to share and it came with lots of food. All of it was pretty good. Brisket was good pork was dry. Mac and cheese were good. Pretzel roll was yummy! Apple crisp also very good! Just make sure to get there as soon as possible after sunset it gets busy around 7. The process was not very organized and the line can get long. The dinner was probably the better tasting food we had at the park.
Christina O — Google review
Food was surprisingly delicious. Especially the brisket. The place gets a little crazy and disorganized, but mostly from the patrons trying to rush through. Was crazy busy, but pretty efficient if you stay in line. People trying to hold a table and rush through the lines is what caused the confusion. Process: 3 stars. place your order then get in cafeteria style line for main entrees and drinks. Then the salad bar and drink lines. Salad bar needed to get refreshed, but otherwise decent. Basic, but decent. Pet's were only allowed on one side of the dining hall. Wasn't clear until someone told us and wasn't very nice about it. At least they do have a section for pets. Would be nice if they had signs or were more friendly about it. Food. 4.5 stars. Brisket, veggies, and pozole were all very tasty. Salad bar was basic, but fresh. Soda fountain had many options, which was nice. Service: 4 stars. Some really nice people, especially at the food service line. Person who kicked us out of line because of our dog, not so much. Given the options are limited in the park, it's nice to have a decent option. Pro tip: only microwave on the property is in the dining hall. If you need to reheat some leftover or like us, our dog food, come to the dining hall.

This is a cafeteria, but as good as it gets!! I had dinner & breakfast here. Dinner, there were 4 entree meats to choose from (all looked delicious), you get 2 sides (of a 4+ lineup), and there’s several dessert options. For breakfast, there’s several scramble options, bacon, sausage, breakfast potatoes, French toast, cut fruit, and yogurt. Such spreads!! They offer takeout. Very gluten free friendly. Noticeably kind & happy staff. Regarding price - it’s the Grand Canyon & they give you so much food to make it worthwhile. I loved it!

Yavapai Tavern, located within Yavapai Lodge in Grand Canyon Village, is a charming stone-accented watering hole offering a selection of regional craft beers, specialty cocktails, and a pub-grub menu. The tavern provides a welcoming atmosphere for guests to enjoy classic beverages and delightful dishes against the backdrop of the South Rim.
Really enjoyed eating here! 🍔 The Elk burger was super juicy and full of flavor, and the pizza was nice and cheesy (could have been a bit bigger, though). The kids loved the Mac’n’cheese, perfect size for them. I’m a big fan of their fully digital ordering system, super easy to use and makes the whole experience so smooth. Staff were great too, really friendly and quick. Prices are fair, and the place is easy to get to since it’s right on the street. Definitely coming back!

While visiting the Grand Canyon South Rim, we stopped at this restaurant inside the national park for lunch before touring the area. They serve quick and tasty meals like sandwiches, burgers, salads, tacos, and quesadillas. The food was good! The restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor seating. Since the weather was beautiful during our visit, we chose to sit outside and enjoy the surroundings while we ate.

Food and drink were fantastic. Probably some of the best food we had on the trip. Ordering from your phone was interesting and pretty slick. Get rid of the tip function though if there aren't servers. No refills. Had to go get our on waters and straws. No one ever checked on us. In fact, other than the food runner we never saw another employee expect for a plate busser. I hope he got my tip because from what I saw he was the only one who deserved it.

We had a great experience here! All the food came out quickly for it being so busy! As busy as it was, there was no wait and they kept people coming and going. Being at the Grand Canyon, the place was also very big inside and had a gift shop! I ate every last bite of my food and a few bites of my boyfriend's food. He got a burger and pizza which are not shown. I definitely did not leave there hungry. At all. Lol Anyways, yes. I recommend going there over the coffee shops at the points in the canyon bc those were a disaster. One of them was closed, which is why we came here in the first place bc it was the only other place to get food and I was starving. So glad we did!
Kristin B — Google review
I’m curious about the burgers, but generally things are overpriced and fine but not great. The squash soup was lukewarm but fresh and thick and nicely flavored, and very nicely presented with a design in cream and a bunch of pumpkin seeds nicely sprinkled. After that, a whole burger seemed like too much so I went with the kids grilled cheese, which was decent white bread with hot orange American cheese, potato chips, and a pickle spear; I wish there were an option other than potato chips. The staff was friendly and helpful. The outdoor seating was lovely, the perfect temperature and offering live music. Three stars because the menu is limited and the food isn’t great, and is terrible value for the money.
Mira S — Google review
We like the 3 pulled pork tacos, moist, the right balance between the mix, warm & tasty. Pricey but as expected, it is in the national park. Nice ambience & temperature. Outdoor & indoor seatings. The noise of the door connecting to outdoor seating is a little noisy & frequently used.
Angie L — Google review
We were spending our second day exploring Grand Canyon and were hungry late afternoon. Recommended! After doing a bit of research, we chose the Tavern. Ordering is easy with a QR code at the table and then they bring your food and your drinks out to the patio. We shared the spicy poblano chicken tacos and Elk chili. The tacos were excellent and the chili good. Even though the outdoor patio is right beside the busy main Street it was nice to sit out in the sun and relax before setting out for more exploring.
Lina S — Google review
Food wasn’t to bad. First it was confusing on where and how to order. The gentleman trying to help us had a strong accent and we were a little confused. Then we realized you had to order at the table by using a QR code and that bright food out to you. Any where you ate in the park was very $$. On the bright side we saw an elk while we were eating.
