Chicken restaurant
Bojangles is a beloved fast-food chain that brings the essence of Southern cuisine to your plate, specializing in mouthwatering fried chicken and fluffy biscuits. Their menu features delightful options like the Southern Gravy Biscuit, which many find hearty and satisfying. Fans rave about their Chicken Supremes Combo and unique offerings such as the Chicken Bo-Berry Waffles, making it a must-visit for comfort food lovers.
This is one of the better Bojangles locations I’ve been to. Like most fast food chicken spots, the experience can vary day to day, but the staff here keep the place clean and make a solid effort to get food out fast. It’s consistently a reliable stop when I’m in the area.

Every single time I’ve been here in the past 6 months, my mobile order is not prepared until I come to the store. In the app it says it’s supposed to be done 5-10 minutes after I put the order in and I drive 15 to be at this location. Not to mention, at least 75% of the time the chicken tenders I get are soggy, as if they either haven’t been cooked long enough or are old. I really am confused as to how it’s almost down to a science how awful the service is every time. The only good thing I can say is that the tea is always good, and the fries are always hot. If you want nothing else around, it’s a halfway decent option, but don’t expect to spend any less than an hour waiting for food if you order on the app.
Hayden C — Google review
5:00 pm and the food is old. The chicken sandwich tasted like a premade gas station sandwich. The steak and cheese biscuit was missing the cheese and the biscuit was too hard to eat. So, out of all of my Bojangles, this one is not good. But it was tasty still and edible
Brande W — Google review
Walked out with what was supposed to be take out. This is how many fries I was given for my 4 pc chicken supremes order. I had a second 4 pc supremes order as well that only came with 3 of the smallest tenders I’ve ever seen. Seems like the employees may have been focused elsewhere.

Dirty counters, tables and drink machine. Luke warm food and black mold growing by the sweet tea in the lobby. What i thought was a trash hole, was a spot yo hold the lemons, but instead was filled with black mold growing, see Pic for details. Already contacted corporate. Seems to be an ongoing issues at this store #1208, updated. Had to add the email i received since the guy that called me offered nothing but excuses and I sent him the picture posted, then got email from someone else about gift card of sorts to reply the address and no follow up response or mail. Zero. I reached back out. Will update again maybe update 30 days and still nothing, i filed 2 different complaints the healthdepartment. Theyr reviewing the picture i sent, recievedan email back , waiting for a reply from the state. I shared this with friends who no longer eat here bc of this experience, I haven't been back, I now drive to johnson city to a different chain.

The food was hot but the cleanliness of the restaurant and staff was horrible. We watched the employee who was putting food on trays go outside smoke a cigarette and come right back in and not wash thier hands. The manager was standing behind the line when the employee came back and didn't even mention to wash as they started working again. Also the bathroom was nasty and the lobby tables were pretty dirty too.
Idid J — Google review
The AI stuff needs to stop. If a person would’ve taken our order the person working could’ve told us that they were out of mac n cheese. On top of that we waited 10 minutes in the drive thru and had to go in for straws. Everytime I go in here they are out of almost everything and the soda fountains always look nasty.

Sandwich shop
When you find yourself in Erwin, TN, make sure to swing by Clinchfield Sub Station, a local gem that has earned accolades as the Tri-Cities Best Deli. This charming eatery specializes in both hot and cold sub sandwiches made with freshly baked bread, alongside mouthwatering hamburgers that were recognized as one of the best in 2022. The cozy atmosphere exudes a welcoming hometown vibe, making it an ideal spot for lunch.
One of the best little deli/restaurants in Erwin, TN. The staff are super nice and friendly, and the food is stellar! All of the food is freshly made to order. I definitely recommend their burgers. There are many different combinations of salads, subs, and burgers to choose from on the menu. My SO and I have made it one of our top 5 places to eat in Erwin.
Allison A — Google review
A small sub and soul place with top-notch dining atmosphere and exemperalry service as soon as you walk in. Kind servers and chefs are behind the counter. A comprehensive menu is to your right when you walk into their little abode. With so much to choose from their incredible menu; after making your order, they will get it to you within a timely manner. Nothing on the menu will disappoint, including the new loaded fries options, which I devoured with satisfaction before thinking twice. Locals trust this place for an over-filling meal for an apparent reason, and you should too if you're passing through or staying for the week. Prices are fair and should not be given a second thought when you're paying for love, care, and portions with every bite. Bravo for the staff and the locals for making this place a hallmark on the map.

Incredible experience! I ordered the Reuben, and my wife opted for the Cheeseburger sub. Let me tell you, both sandwiches were outstanding! The Reuben was perfectly crafted, with tender corned beef, complemented by tangy sauerkraut and a generous amount of creamy dressing. The rolls are amazing! My wife’s Cheeseburger sub was equally impressive. Piled high with quality meat with all the classic toppings—crisp lettuce, ripe tomatoes, and melted cheese. Nestled in a fresh baked, soft sub roll. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it a perfect spot to enjoy a meal. The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed. If you’re looking for delicious subs that don’t skimp on quality or taste, this place is a must-visit. We can’t wait to return.

Not long after moving to beautiful NE TN, a neighbor recommended we try Clinchfield Sub Station in Erwin.  I was quite surprised to discover they are closed on weekends.  Growing up in the restaurant industry, I was mystified how any food establishment could survive without the weekend crowds.  Well, when we finally had a weekday open, we decided to pop in and find out. Turns out, the recipe for Clinchfield’s wild success is quite simply, they put their money where your mouth is…in the form of the freshest ingredients and hefty portions for a reasonable price! And do not get me started on their melt-in-your-mouth homemade bread - the framework for their deli-licious creations! This family owned and operated one-off has thrived by word of mouth recommendations from loyal customers with WJHL News Channel 11’s viewers voting Clinchfield Sub Station the Tri-Cities Best Deli in 2023. So, fire up your appetite and your GPS…because Clinchfields is a hot pick, and this is one Sub Station you won’t want to miss!

This is a unique sandwich shop, a small business in a small town that serves big bites packed with flavor. I used to love the bread—it still smells amazing—but I can’t eat it anymore. Fortunately, the staff offers a breadless option, allowing me to enjoy any sandwich style, which I truly appreciate. My kids and I stop by occasionally, and I wish I remembered to visit more often, especially now that they offer breakfast. If you’re passing through Erwin and craving something tasty, this is a great spot to check out!

A gem hideaway off the beaten path, after a drive on 81 passing the Nolichucky this was a pleasant surprise. Fresh hot ham and cheese, I added French fries to it myself. The staff are over friendly, very polite and courteous. I forgot to order a drink the young lady handed me a cup and said help yourself, it’s been a long time since I’ve witnessed customer service over the top. They were happy to point out the new additions since it’s been about 2 years since my last visit. I could not finish the half and I highly suggest getting extra meat. Maybe they will add a French fry ham/cheese with bacon & ranch, name it the 81 half for me. Maybe if I had to choose one thing to improve on would be to name all their subs. I could not find anything out of place here. Damn delish, I’ll be back and this time I’ll bring a book and people watch out the window.

I got the Steak + Bacon sub, it was amazing! The delicious cheese, great meat, and soft bread. They accidentally put mushroom in my dad's order, but were quick and friendly to replace it. I'm sure they don't usually make mistakes with the orders, they were super apologetic. The food and staff here are great!

This place is an absolute gem!! We are new to town, stopped in for a quick lunch and it blew away any expectations that we had! My toddler even said “Mommy, delicious!” We have a new favorite in town for sure! Great portions, friendly staff, and the food was fast and oh so tasty! If you’re in the area searching for some grub, this place is a must!!! We are originally from Nashville, and I’ve never had a sandwich that delicious!

If you find yourself in Erwin and craving authentic Japanese cuisine, make sure to stop by Hibachi House. While its exterior may not be particularly eye-catching, the rave reviews speak volumes about the delicious offerings inside. Diners highly recommend trying their egg rolls and hibachi chicken paired with sweet carrots for a delightful experience. The menu features an array of tasty options like baby shrimp, chicken, hibachi rice, and more—all at reasonable prices that cater to every budget.
Only Asian place in erwin. Very good shrimp sauce. Prices are good and portions are plentiful.

Decided to finally give them a try today and was disappointed, I would've gave them a 1 star but the flavor was not bad it was just super plain! Got lo main noodles and rice and that's all that come out, no onions, no egg, no vegetables, cabbage or anything in either one of them like you would expect from fried rice and lo main! Just plain rice and super thick lo main noodles. For the price it was just sad, would highly recommend for them to add some of what I mentioned to both of those dishes!
Jaimy R — Google review
Good food at a good price. We are repeat customers and choose to eat here for tonight for our Valentine's Day dinner. I had the Hibachi Steak, and hubby had the Hibachi Chicken. This family-owned business has a limited but delicious selection of entrees, salads, and sides. 2025 entree prices start at just under $8 and go up depending on the number of meats you add. We each had a single meat, so our entrees were in the "under $8" category. The meal comes with fried rice, mushrooms, and your choice of sweet carrots or zucchini & onions. You can add an egg roll for a couple of bucks extra, and I'd recommend it because they've got delicious egg rolls. The dining room seats a decent number of people without crowding tables together. The food is served in Styrofoam to-go trays, but portion sizes are generous. I was barely able to finish my Hibachi Steak dinner. Drinks are self-serve, and the Southern iced tea is really good--strong and sweet. The atmosphere is what you would expect for this type of restaurant, and that's okay to me. It's not fancy, romantic, or themed. It's simply a good place where locals eat and maybe chat with friends and neighbors at other tables. In fact, there are probably not many out of towners who even know where Hibachi House is located. The fact that the food is good enough to keep the locals coming back time and again (they stay busy) should be enough of a reason to at least give them a try if you're in the area.

Our Food is never right.. they always mess our order up .. one will be loaded like it’s supposed to then one will be all noodles or rice and hardly any meat or veggies or they just don’t put any veggies on it who wants carrots and just chicken ..!! We’ve always ordered eggs rolls by 3 to an order but today they do t do that so we got 2 orders well it had two in it .:! And what you pay for your food it shld be right ..! A lot of times we will order extra veggies and pay for the extra just to get some veggies if ya don’t then ya do t hardly get any..!! Have them to many chances and we order there a lot ..! I wld save my money amd just drive to JC before I wld give the my money anymore…! Spend 40 to 50 for two ppl you shld get a decent amount of food for that price especially this type of food..!!

The only asian fusion place in Erwin and they do a pretty good job. Atmosphere is small town diner with an Asian motif and an excellent radio station. Order up front and they bring it out to you. It’s Hibachi - just Hibachi, and they do a good job of it. Food is fresh, made to order, and there is a lot of it. Service is good for what it is - they take your order and just bring it out to you. Self service on drinks.

This was the worst. Canned carrots & shrimp, nasty. The food had very little flavor. There was no pride put into the meals I ordered. Not to mention not a Japanese chef or anyone similar in the restaurant itself. I will never go back.

Cowboy’s Rendezvous Bar in Erwin is a popular spot for a lively night out. It's known for its friendly atmosphere and cold drinks, making it the perfect place to catch up with family and friends. The bar has a mix of regulars and new faces, but it continues to be a favorite hangout. With pool tables, karaoke nights, and friendly staff, it's an ideal destination after a day of hiking or exploring the area.
Friendly local crowd on Sunday afternoon. I bet this place hops on Friday and Saturday karaoke nights. Ask for Eugene.

I loved it because it was where I got to enjoy some cold ones with family I haven't gotten to visit with in a lotta years... love love love y'all bunches Uncle Dick & Aunt Shirley! All the folks in the bar were really friendly and it appears that everyone enjoys having a good time... no offense to the owners, but next trip we gotta check out the moose lodge too - that way we know where to find them if they're not home when we come by! Thanks for a good time & some cold beers!

Nestled in the charming town of Erwin, TN, Dari Ace is a delightful 50s-themed diner that transports you back in time with its retro decor and cozy atmosphere. Open throughout the week for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, this beloved eatery offers a classic diner menu featuring everything from hearty chicken biscuits to juicy burgers and satisfying sandwiches.
Enjoyed the cheeseburger and fries cooked to order. My husband had the chicken sandwich. Both were delicious and fresh. We enjoyed finding a local place to eat before hiking in Rocky Fork State Park.

The nicest ladies, loved the milkshakes. Hot dogs are steamed and next time I will do two on one bun they are super skinny. The hamburgers reminded me of Buc Deli in JC. Lettuce us chat about the fries, I had to take a star off for the lack of salt and I would highly suggest to start offering seasoned fries with some Lawrys, just didn't seem too southerly, folks might like them just fine and that is good, next time I will just bring my own shaker, they had no qualms when I walked in with my own water bottle. Will we come back for sure, I swear it was like walking out back in granny's yard once we sat outside to eat. Next time I might just get the hot fudge cake for supper like another lady did.

While small in size, this place is Goliath big on taste and offerings. Atmosphere is friendly, customers are engaging and service is the best in town.

Ate an early lunch, around 10:45AM. My wife and I had the bacon cheeseburger with onion rings and a side of jalapeño poppers. My parents had fish sandwiches with fries. Everything was extremely good! The popper could have had a little more "kick", but not worth losing a star over! Super-friendly staff and we all loved the seating! Founded in 1960 and I'm so glad they kept it that way!

The Dari Ace is a welcomed sight, especially when you've been gone from your hometown 36 plus years. Best burgers, best hot dogs anywhere. Like usual Judy and I will always hunt down a local diner and give it a try! Tried our favorite, something we have had in most of the states we’ve visited and a diner menu item found everywhere, the Hamburger Steak Dinner. A fresh house salad, dinner rolls and steak fries was the way we went and again we had a great dinner in another of America’s great family owned diners! Service was great like the food and the place is well decorated with nostalgic items to look over as you eat in the clean, bright sitting area!

This little hole-in-the-wall offers more than meets the eye! If you blinked you’d miss this vintage masterpiece of a diner, and that’d be a shame because Dari Ace offers fresh homemade diner food along with indulgent favorites like malt milkshakes and root beer floats. The staff is friendly and attentive, and the prices are more than decent. If you’re anywhere near Interstate 26 near Exit 40, make the 2 minute detour off the exit and experience the nostalgic taste of yesteryear. You won’t be disappointed.

Pal's Sudden Service, a beloved fast-food chain established in 1956, is known for its delicious burgers, hot dogs, fries, and breakfast options. Customers rave about the attentive service; one patron appreciated how the staff took extra care to accommodate gluten sensitivities by wrapping their burger thoughtfully. The human touch at Pal's stands out—unlike other fast-food experiences where you might feel ignored, here you’re greeted with friendly faces and genuine conversations while waiting for your order.
Ate lunch here yesterday. Really enjoyed my cheeseburger and fries. Much respect to flag half staff and praying for full recovery from destruction caused by Hurricane Helene! This entire community gets five stars ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

I wanted to give a big thank you to the pals team, from. I ordered something without a bun because of gluten issues. But then I also ordered my sandwich to be packed in paper and not in plastic. The cook came and clarified my needs at the window and carefully wrapped my burger with cheese so that the paper wasn't pressed on top of the cheese and so I could eat it easily. I really appreciated that extra moment of attention to my lunch. Y'all's food is always good, but it's really nice when people take an extra minute for you when you're asking them already to do something extra. Thank you so very much!

If you're on the hunt for a delicious pizza experience, look no further than Little Caesars Pizza! This popular carry-out chain is known for its mouthwatering pizzas made from housemade dough, alongside tasty chicken wings and signature breadsticks. During my recent visit to their Erwin location, I was pleasantly surprised by the exceptional service provided by the friendly staff. Despite some mixed reviews about their new Crazy Puffs, this team delivered consistently perfect orders every time.
We were in the area visiting with my family and decided to stop in and get some pizzas and crazy bread. The pizzas we wanted weren't available so we were told it would take about 12 minutes for fresh ones which was perfectly fine. We sat inside and waited and when our food was ready, the guy bagged our breads and sauces up for us, handed us our pizza and told us to have a good evening (very polite young man). We live right outside of Asheville and compared to the service and quality of pizza we get at home, this Little Caesars nailed it! The pizzas were PERFECT (cut right as well) and our Crazy Sauce was nice and hot--our local one gives it to us cold and never bags anything. I know it's just pizza but this location deserves to be recognized for a job well done today!!

Got a hot and ready. They didn’t have any ready so I chose to wait 10 min for a pizza. No big deal. When I get home to eat , open the pizza box up and it’s definitely over cooked and it was very dry. I only ate one piece of pizza and threw the rest away. Disgusting and disappointed

Messing with someone’s food is not okay no matter how busy or frustrated you become. I arrived on time for my pick up time and was parked for an additional 20 mins. When I went back to the window the food was still not ready. I received food that looked like someone stuck their finger in each one. When I asked for a manager, the woman in the window, miss identify who the manger was, that’s not okay! Poor service!! Immature staff. Always check your food before you pull off!
Shayee T — Google review
Best little Caesars around by far, there always very nice and willing at this location. The employees always have ready what they're supposed to. I go here pretty frequently and theyre extremely polite. I do recommend.
John J — Google review
This used to be the best Little Ceasers in the Tri Cities. NOT ANY MORE! Not only do they rarely get your order right, the manager is a politely rude person. Meaning she says all the right words but in a very rude manner. The prices have went up when the food and preparation has gotten worse and the portions have been cut in half. Sad to see that corporate greed has taken over everything. Two half full cups of marinara sauce equals one. That's a 50% increase in cost for sauce. UNACCEPTABLE! The competition lost us to Little Ceasers for the ultra high costs, now Little Ceasers will lose us over the issues stated above.
D G — Google review
The employees at this location really are great at what they do! I have seen so many terrible experiences online with the new Crazy Puffs, but the crew in Erwin didn't skip a beat. From the first order all the way to tonight, they have been perfect and delicious every single time! The pizza is always perfect, the breads are incredible, the employees are always professional and very nice, and that store is always so clean. Thanks to all of you who make our dinner after working hard in the sun all day so goooood!

Delivery Restaurant
Pizza Plus is a popular chain that allows customers to customize their own pizzas or choose from a variety of specialty options. They also offer pastas and sandwiches for those seeking alternative options. The overall consensus is that the food at Pizza Plus is exceptional, with many patrons praising their delicious pizza and outstanding spaghetti in particular. There are occasional deviations in expectations, such as with the fruit pizza dessert, but these instances do not overshadow the positive experiences had by most customers.
Oh my goodness what a wonderful night at Pizza Plus! The food was fresh our server Leah she was absolutely super friendly made sure we had everything that we needed kept our drinks full She was amazing and the manager Tonya she was super nice and super friendly She made sure everything was hot fresh and full and checked about us as customers So thank you so much for a wonderful evening at Pizza Plus in Erwin Tennessee!! We also won one of the free meal from AM 1420 Erwin radio! So thank you to them as well!

Food is pretty decent, a little pricey, but it's not a little ceasers. Their website is actually disgustingly bad. The UI is slow and clunky, and you also shouldn't absolutely require an account to order anything that's ridiculous to think I'd wanna create another account just to order online. If the website was remedied, it would make the experience better.

We had been picking up pizza once a week. NO MORE. Four visits in a row ten plus minutes wait, sitting at the pick up window because they were "having problems" with the credit card machine.

I've been eating at pizza plus since they opened in the shopping center where AutoZone and tractor supply is, it's been up and down on quality of food and employees. But it seems like rock bottom. I bought wings tonight and they were plainly a product of a business who has no interest in serving a quality product!!!! I gave $22.00 for 16 wings that I can cover up with a Lance cheese cracker. I will post pictures to prove it (if I can). And it wasn't just a few it was ALL OF THEM.

Fast and friendly service. The pizza was delicious, we had the super supreme minus bell pepper. Smiling faces at the drive thru window and no complaints when I added a drink to my order. We'll be back!

I walked in to dine in a while back, only to hear a screaming match between employees. I left at that point. Came back recently to order a carryout. While waiting, I hear what turns out to be the manager discussing her upcoming court date relating to abusing her boyfriend I think??? While also discussing her big date after the court appointment. Also one of the screaming participants in my prior visit I realized. I've eaten this food for years. But lately I don't recognize any of the employees, and the food has been quite the disappointment. I don't want to walk into a Jerry springer segment to get mediocre food with all my toppings dumped into the middle of the pizza, on top of the cheese, and burnt. I asked to speak to the supervisor, and was told they are only around a day or two a week and usually "too busy". OK, I promise I'm not one to just trash or complain about restaurant, but my family has loved pizza plus for over 10 years, and suddenly these days every aspect as seemed to fall off a cliff.

Love the pizza and salad from here and the prices are great. Always running specials on something and would highly recommend eating in the staff are courteous and warm.

The delivery person was very polite, and friendly to our dog. The two large pizzas for $25 was a good deal, and the gentleman who answered the phone suggested it. Thank you. We also got the boneless chicken for $9.99. Not worth it. The delivery fee is a dollar more than the other places in town, but it came quick and correct.

Pizza delivery
If you're on the hunt for a delicious pizza experience, look no further than Domino's Pizza! This popular delivery and carryout chain boasts an extensive menu filled with a variety of pizzas alongside an array of other delectable dishes and sides. Recently, I had the pleasure of ordering from them, and it was truly delightful! The friendly staff member who took my order over the phone made the process smooth and enjoyable.
I just had probably one of the most enjoyable experiences ordering from a Pizza parlor, that I've ever had! CEDRIC took my order via the phone. He was extremely pleasant and explained that I could only use my points via the Domino's App. So, from an "old woman", THANK YOU, CEDRIC for your kindness!!!

I will never give Dominos in Erwin my business again. We used a gift card that Amber got for Christmas to order supper tonight. The order was placed online, and we chose the special - any medium pizza with up to 3 toppings for $8.99 - and ordered 3 pizzas. When we picked up the order, they said they were out of medium pizzas and couldn't make our order. The employee checked with the manager, who said they couldn't help us and would refund the money. They wouldn't give us large pizzas instead of medium ones and refunded the gift card. The manager said they tried to call us, but I didn't get a call or voicemail. I told him this, and he shrugged, giving us a receipt and saying the refund would take 1-2 business days. Who ever the manager of the Domino’s in Erwin is a dick head!!!!

Usually love Domino's. But tonight makes the second time it has been horrible. I placed my order at 10:10pm, didn't arrive until 11:05pm. I ordered New York style crust and got hand tossed. The stuffed cheesy bread was all crust on the ends two slices deep. And doughy on the bottom. Only one word comes to mind, terrible.

I’ve had so many issues with this dominos it’s not even funny, I order from here probably 4-5 times a month and 3-4 times my order is wrong. There is ONE GIRL who is always extremely helpful and always fixes my issues But if it’s anyone else they’re always rude This is probably the only time I’ve ever done a review or ever will, I called in today and was upset because my pizza was wrong I had ordered it with extra sauce and they sent it with basically none on it. I was told they “measured” it out but that was a clear lie. I’ll show the picture of my pizza with the “extra sauce”

I don’t know what kind of pizza y’all have been eating, but our entire order was disgusting. Not to mention the fact that I had to rebake the pizza because it was barely cooked. The loaded tots cheese was completely burnt to the bottom of them. The only good thing was that the delivery was fast, but based off of the quality of the food no wonder it got here so fast. I would just drive to Johnson city if you want something at least edible. Paid $50 and wasn’t worth $5.

This Domino’s is staffed mainly with kids. When I went in to pick up my order, I was told it was still in the oven and it would be a couple of minutes. That was fine, so I had a seat. After 3-4 minutes, the Domino’s app said it had been taken out of the oven. I proceeded to wait a few more minutes to be called for. When there was no response, I went to the counter and stood so the staffing could see I was waiting. I could see my order setting on finish rack. There were three employees working, and I could not get any of them to acknowledge that I was standing at the counter. I finally had to ask one of them if I could trouble him with a question. His reply was “yes”, and I asked him to check to see if that was my sitting on the shelf. The employee did and said yes it was mine. I understand that there are more orders than just mine, but after standing there 10 minutes acknowledge that I am in the building.

Tried to use a coupon online but they had it shut down. Called to figure out the problem, and the guy got me the coupon but was less than friendly. Suffered from food poisoning for days. The food smelled and tasted the most foul I've ever experienced. Don't trust this place.

I had to wait 3 hours for my pizza and then to top it off the pizza was cold and I got plain Parmesan bites and everything was hard as a rock and the time before that I waited 45 to a hour and they said my pizza was delivered all ready I had to go pick it up and then I had to to go back cause the still charged me for the delivery fee I love Domino's but something has to change
