Nature & Parks
Warriors' Path State Park is a 950-acre nature complex located in Kingsport, Tennessee, surrounding the shores of Fort Patrick Henry Lake. It offers a wide range of activities such as camping, hiking, fishing, birding, and golfing. The park features 12 miles of hiking trails and an 8.5-mile mountain biking trail system that is internationally renowned.
Very nice beautiful park. Campground facilities clean and tidy, shady with big beautiful trees. Good variety of hiking trails and various summer programs for kids and grownups. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Park rangers very helpful. A river flows by the park so you could fish from a boat or river bank. Lots of others outdoor activities on Duck Island as well. We booked another stay in the campground before we left.

Nice park. A little busy and the campgrounds are pretty close to one another. Pretty well kept. Campsite picnic tables need replaced or torn down. Some sites a wooden bench has been constructed over old broken cement and the boards are rotting and have nails sticking up through sitting spots. A wonderful park for the kids. Paddle oats, kayaks, and so forth for rent at the marina. Be advised before entering the marina to order any food or ice cream. The girls at the counter may be deep within a social media stupor on there phones. They might not even realize you are standing right in front of them. It may even be likely you could go behind the counter and make your own food without them even looking up from there phones. Good luck! There's an electric vehicle charging station on Duck Island. A good bit of wildlife seen in the park and some nice trails to hike. A wonderful little camp store and a couple of dump sites for your camper. Really a pretty nice park to visit.
CornBread ! — Google review
A nice state park offering water access, fishing, hiking, mountain biking, and camping. There is a marina with boat rentals and food, a disc golf course, and a “Boundless Playground”. Kayaking was nice and it was nice to paddle towards the dam and look at all the houses. There are also places to pull off and shore the kayaks. Hiking was good. The Devil’s Backbone trail was great with a workout on the ascent. It led to Fall Creek and then to Fall Creek Loop Trail. The Overlook Trail was okay but needs some better blazing at the end. The Sinking Waters Trail System was nice and well maintained. The Woodland Ridge Trail is gone and the horse stables are abandoned/burned down. There are two campgrounds. The main campground is older with water and electric hookups. Moody Bluff Campground is newer with full hookups and less shade.
The T — Google review
There is so much to do here you're just going to have to check it out!! Multiple hiking trails and walking paths with abundant wildlife to see and enjoy. I prefer weekdays when it's not so crowded. A marina, rentals, boat ramps, and plenty of picnic areas.
Chadwick D — Google review
Great place for camping or just to spend the day swimming, boating, or paddling around the lake. Free parking and access. Free picnic area. Free playground. Rentals for paddle boats, canoes, and kayaks. Hiking trails with various difficulty and paved paths available for walking, running, and mountain biking. Has a marina with a grill open every day- reasonable prices.
Dan H — Google review
This park is perfect for outdoor activities like fishing, hiking, biking, camping, and boat riding. The trails are scenic, the lake is peaceful, and it’s a great place for families or friends to spend a day
Farzana S — Google review
This is a great option for a simple Elopement or even a Wedding! I've now performed three weddings at the large pavilion over by the playground side and a few elopements by the lake. During the fall, the colorful trees reflect off the water beautifully. When I softly play wedding music through my Bluetooth speaker, everyone just walks around the ceremony spot and most just watch and listen to the weddings at the Pavilion. If you want an inexpensive option, this is the place. There's an indoor option as well that isn't expensive either. The couples have either family take photos or hired Amelia Rae photography for family photos. Warriors Path offers so much. You can get married, then eat at the restaurant there afterwards!
Joshua M — Google review
We keep coming back here because this is a fantastic State Park! State Parks are created where they are for a reason and the beautiful setting and the ammenites are what bring us back. The golf course is well layed out, you will get to hit all your clubs as the course really is a championship layout. The driving range and practice greens are well done. My only suggestion would be for the powers that be in the State of Tennessee to invest into updating the clubhouse! Such a great facility deserves better, as do all the patrons! The greater Kingsport area is also worth exploring - there is much to do here!

Barbecue restaurant
Phil's Dream Pit is a classic BBQ joint in Kingsport, Tennessee, known for its succulent dishes and friendly service. Since 2008, the family-owned restaurant has been on a quest to provide top-notch quality BBQ to the area. The menu features tender and flavorful meat dishes like pulled pork sandwiches, smoked turkey sandwiches, and sweet baby back ribs.
The food was delicious and the staff were so kind. Mikayla checked on me, getting me lids and a bag when I was finished so I could take my leftovers home to Sevierville, and we had lovely conversation! I got a pulled pork sandwich with baked beans and hash brown casserole
Elizabeth M — Google review
Wonderful BBQ, best baked beans I've ever tasted. I was surprised how much we took home, it really filled us up. We had to buy the blackberry fire BBQ sauce to take home w/ us, best I've ever tried. Wonderful experience, very friendly staff. Will be back, yummy!!!!

Great meal meeting our son halfway on a road trip! Super location right where 26 and 81 cross. We tried lots of things and everything was fantastic! Great seating options and takeout an option.

A hidden gem just off I81. I had pulled pork, beans and potato salad. All delicious! The staff was super nice. Service so fast, I couldn't believe it was ready. Oh, and you gotta have the sweet tea!
Mandy H — Google review
I’ve had such a great experience every time I’ve visited Phil's. The service is consistently warm, welcoming, and attentive, which makes you feel right at home. The food is fresh, flavorful, and clearly prepared with care. What makes this place stand out even more is their commitment to the community. It’s wonderful to see a business that not only provides excellent dining but also takes the time to give back and support local causes. That combination of great food, great service, and genuine community involvement makes this restaurant truly special. It’s the kind of place you want to keep coming back to and also recommend to others.
Heather R — Google review
I have to say I wasn't impressed. The pork was average at best. No seasoning at all. The beef had a very slim Jim type of flavor to it. Very dry and stringy. The vinager sauce was nice. We had the hashbrown casserole which was ok ...the slaw was surely right outta the Walmart tubs. Terrible! Baked beans we found were very sweet, lots of sugar. The banana pudding was like a instant banana pudding mix with a piece of banana maybe and a few nilla wafers. Again..no love put into it. Kids like the Mac n cheese. Adults did not. All in all I'd say it's a pass from now on. Better BBQ straight out of your crock pot and won't set you back $80.00!

I just had to share my recent dining experience at Phil's Dream Pit with you. The staff at this restaurant was simply amazing! They began the day with a heartfelt prayer, focusing on blessing others in the community through their restaurant. The restaurant itself was spotlessly clean, and I particularly enjoyed the covered outdoor seating area. My group and I indulged in the 3-meat platter, featuring brisket, ribs, and pulled pork, accompanied by delicious baked beans and macaroni and cheese. We also tried another 3-meat combination of pulled pork, brisket, and pulled chicken, served alongside scrumptious potato salad and coleslaw. While the ribs were juicy and delicious, some may find them a bit overcooked if they prefer competition-style ribs. The brisket, although tasty, was slightly dry and tough – ideally, it should have been more tender and easy to pull apart. The pulled pork and pulled chicken were average in texture, but thanks to their delectable sauces, they tasted phenomenal. The sides perfectly complemented the meats, creating a well-rounded meal experience. If you're on the lookout for excellent BBQ in East Tennessee, I highly recommend Phil's Dream Pit. It's been a challenge for me to find good BBQ in the area, and this place truly impressed me. Give it a try – you won't regret it!

The black lady working at 9/12/2025 around 5:30pm was rude to my wife. My wife was in a mixed line with JCFD, my wife had asked the firefighters behind her if they would like go in front of her to be with their buddies, they respectfully declined. The cashier was giving discounts to the JCFD (great thing!) however the cashier was confused when my wife got up to counter and didn’t want to ask if she was with them. The lady spoke up and hatefully asked my wife, “what did you do, skip line?” Assuming she skipped the firefighters and made it a huge inconvenience to take away the discount. We didn’t want your discount, we could care less. Very disrespectful way to treat people. The sliced brisket sandwich was skimpy on serving size and the hashbrown casserole was subpar. I was still hungry when I left. First time, last time we’ll be there. The lady working and skimpy portion done us in. We wanted to give Phil’s business because of how they helped during Helen, but I won’t put up with my high integrity wife being disrespected because someone thinks she wants a discount.

Gypsy Circus Cider + BBQ Smokehouse is a renowned destination in Kingsport, Tennessee, known for its award-winning craft ciders. As the first cider company in the state, it offers a wide range of ciders, including dry and sweet varieties, seasonal favorites, elixir series, and puppet master series with unique flavors like chai cider and fire-roasted pumpkin cider. The cidery also boasts a full food menu featuring appetizers, tacos, nachos, and more.
Really cool spot with a great vibe. I grabbed a brisket sandwich and fries at the bar—don’t remember the name of it, but it was fantastic. Super flavorful, fries were crispy and seasoned perfectly, and everything was hot and fresh. The cider was excellent too—nice selection and served cold in a proper glass. I loved the laid-back atmosphere and friendly service. I’ll definitely be coming back the next time I’m in town. Highly recommend if you’re looking for good food and drinks with a unique local twist.

I could make this lengthy but I'll try not to. First time customer today. It is a shining gem in Kingsport. I came during the afternoon so it wasn't busy. I want to shout out to Brianna. Absolutely friendly bartender who really helped me make decisions what to order, and provided a few samples. She recommended other food items to try on my next visit. So if Brianna is there, you will be well taken care of. This is primarily a bar and socializing place, therefore it's busier after working hours. There is a smaller food menu which is a good thing. The food is just as good as the ciders, meads, beer, wine, and signature cocktails. I had the Blackberry Queen pork sandwich. It has a blackberry mustard glaze with cream cheese and spicy bacon jam. Mouthwatering! The Atomic Mac n cheese was a great side. My main drink choice was Jack's Tales, a roasted pumpkin cider. Easy to drink semi dry cider. You can also do flights and they will give you tastes. The standard Raindance cider is a great semi dry normal apple flavor cider if you like the basics. I brought home a 4 pack cans of this cider. Crazy flavors of cider and mead, and also hard teas and wine. If you haven't, you must. If you have, then you know.

Madison was freakin fantastic. Give her a raise!! She was very helpful since I did not know anything about ciders and got me non sweet ones. Found a fave and had another. Then she recommended fabulous food. She is a keeper.

We absolutely love this place! From the growlers to the brisket nachos. The service is even better. No matter which bartender we get they have such personable conversations with us. I also love that they have outdoor seating so we are able to bring our dogs (the provide water bowls too!). If I could give more than 5 stars I would every single time!

First time in, Madison was super helpful with picking some 4 packs to go as I’m a Cider Snob from Western NY where we specialize in apples and have Cidery’s everywhere! Can’t wait to go back and enjoy the atmosphere longer and order some Food!

This was our first time visiting the Kingsport location, because our local location is Barrelhouse in Knoxville. We loved it! Each location is similar but has its own unique qualities. Shopping
Nestled on Fort Henry Drive, the vibrant Fort Henry Mall has been a shopping hub since 1976. This two-story mall offers an array of stores ranging from fashion and accessories to bath products and jewelry, covering nearly 53,000 square feet of retail space. Popular chains like American Eagle, rue21, The Children's Place, Bath & Body Works, Belk, and J.C. Penney are among its tenants.
Actually visited Rural King and loved it! Great prices. Lots to choose from. Clean place with friendly service.
Tawney V — Google review
Not what I was expecting. Mall is not giving what it's supposed to give 🤌🏾. It was like a boring museum with dreadful music/atmosphere. There is no food court. There's only 2 eating places throughout the entire mall (that were not in the same location). The movie theater needs a serious upgrade. It was very small with worn-out 💺.
Tería W — Google review
This mall is sad. On life support. Pretty sure the only thing keeping it alive is the movie theater. Only a couple places to eat: Charley’s Steakery and Italian Village. Italian Village is really good. We always get pizza there. There are more pictures on the walls than stores in the building. If you really want to shop in Kingsport, go to Kingsport Pavilion on East Stone Dr. several stores and places to eat.
Adrianna M — Google review
We miss the old mall. But those days are gone I suppose. Are really pleased that rural King has located there. Great store and great competition for other outdoor type retailers who need to lower prices. Highly recommend.
Phil W — Google review
This Mall is dead! Nothing hardly left in it! I went there to goto Spencers for a specific item I didn't want to order online. They had a variation of what I wanted. But not exactly. But buy one get one half off on what I went there for. There is still a Belk there and the newest addition is Rural King. U haven't been in there yet.
Deborah S — Google review
It was mostly a wasteful experience, the place is well dead. Doesn't really offer any shops worth visiting that you couldn't find at a strip mall. And even then, it's one or two shops. Doesn't offer but one food location, and the employees were too busy chatting with their buddies to realize I was standing looking at the menu for five solid minutes and was never approached to ask if I could be served. So I left. It's a nice environment, even if it is mostly abandoned, so if you're one of those mall walkers trying to get your steps in, it's recommended. Otherwise, this is a complete skip.
I I — Google review
No escalator equals a dead mall. This mall has such great potential that just seems squandered. The Italian Village should be an anchor restaurant that could easily be surrounded by and part of a food court. Add a Chik Fil-A and the traffic would be greatly increased. No idea why the Rural King declined to have store access from the mall but both businesses would benefit from the foot traffic if they opened that side up. The store fronts are almost all boarded up, although the wall art is more attractive than a bare wall, it just strikes me as a sad tribute to Kingsport's past instead of inspiring about the future. The rent must be incredibly high and discourages smaller shops from being there. The Cheese steak place doesn't have its own restroom and no one seems to be working the counter. The former Chinese restaurant space is a brash advertisement for how empty this sad relic has become.
Ken S — Google review
It's dying and security is the reason why young people are 50 to 70% of the target customers and they are to harsh rude on the younger generations let them be kids and have fun what a mall is supposed to be a family oriented shopping plaza not fort knox!

Solid steakhouse with excellent service. We had reservations and were seated promptly. Our server was professional and patient. The food was all delicious from steaks to ribs to the side dishes. My photos don’t do it justice because I forgot to take photos until I was already well into the meal! It looked too tasty to wait. They even have pineapple juice for the kids meal drink. When a manager came around to ask how everything was we mentioned one small issue and she fixed it without us even asking! Amazing service.

Great place to celebrate three birthdays in our family! The food and service were fantastic! Our server was Caden. She is a true asset to Chop House. Friendly and professional. Our drinks and bread were always filled. Never rushed! Perfectly timed! Party of 9. Everyone complimented positively about their meals and service! A+++

Beautiful atmosphere and great food. I had the teriyaki chicken and a side of corn crème brûlée. Delicious! Making a reservation felt somewhat pointless because we were sat 25 minutes after our reservation time. Our server was super nice but the hostesses were unfriendly and not welcoming.

First time eating here and I must say everything was delicious! I had the 12oz prime rib, and my wife had the filet mignon , we started off with the fried calamari and shrimp platter it was good but not my favorite. We also had the fried mozzarella sticks they were excellent! My wife and daughter had southern bell cocktails, and they loved them! Ceasars salad was great! I highly recommend the creamed spinach best I've ever had! Our server, Bryson, was amazing! He is awesome, to say the least! He was extremely attentive and friendly ! The whole staff were very friendly! They gave my wife a signed birthday card and dessert, which was very nice of them! Will definitely be going back!

I took my nephew to Chophouse on October 3rd while visiting Kingsport. Both meals were subpar. The filet mignon was not juicy or tasty. The Fettucine Shrimp Alfredo noodles were dry and sauce didn't have creamy texture. I have been there in the past and was looking forward to it. The meal was super disappointing. The atmosphere and staff were great. When looking through other reviews I discovered several other people felt the same about the steaks. Maybe there using lower quality meat or maybe they didn't have a good cook that night. Not sure, but if every meal was like that the prices need to be lowered. Not fair to charge high end prices for a subpar meal.

First time experience at The Chop House. It was quite pleasant. The food was great, the service was great. I definitely recommend!

Very disappointing. We had a party of 3 for a birthday celebration which was on the reservation but never mentioned. Also swatting away fruit flies our entire meal. Our sever was nice but poorly trained and had to leave to get an answer every time we asked a question. All that I could have overlooked until the food came. I ordered a medium rare sirloin and added a shrimp skewer. My steak came out well done, tough and gray all the way through. Thankfully I had it shrimp to snack on while I waited for my recook. The manager brought it out and asked me to check it so I cut in and told him it was closer. He then asked how it was supposed to be cooked and I told him med rare. He said well that's medium. I said yes but I'll just keep it at this point. He asked if I was sure, made a comment that tge kitchen must ne having a bad day and walked away. They didn't comp my meal... OK, nor just the steak, didn't even comp our dessert. Thankfully my husband and son enjoyed their meals even though my husband's steak was also medium although ordered medium rare.

Restaurant
Italian Village Authentic Pizzeria, located at 2101 Fort Henry Dr in Ste. 48 of the Fort Henry Mall, offers a taste of Italy with its Sicilian-style thin crust or Napolitana-style thick crust pizzas topped with authentic Italian cheese and a variety of toppings. In addition to pizza, the menu features cold and hot Italian subs, garlic breadsticks, strombolis, salads, veal or eggplant parmigiana, and more.
This place is on the second floor of the mall and was recommended to us for their pizza. We love family owned places instead of chains so we came here today and tried a large pepperoni mushroom pizza. We got it with light sauce as sometimes I get heartburn from heavy sauce. It was really delicious, even though it was a thinner crust (definitely not as thin as a thin crust but more like NY style thin) it was crispy and delicious! Next time we want to try the other kind they have.
Amanda B — Google review
The pizza was great. Foldable and warm. The inside tables and floor was clean. The tables outside weren’t as clean but it didn’t affect the food taste. The menu offers a lot: hot and cold subs, Stromboli, calzone, salads, pizza and pasta. I ordered a hamburger and green pepper slice. The slice came out with large slices of green pepper. I had never seen big chunks of peppers on pizza like this before but it was good.
K P — Google review
I've eaten here once before, but this is the first time I ordered a pizza. Italian Village had the reputation of best pizza in the Tri Cities, I'm a bit confused why this is is the case. We did not have any problems: service was swift and the setting is fine. The location was reasonably clean and we got, exactly, what we ordered: a large sausage pizza. So why were we not impressed! The sauce is first, it didn't have much flavor. Second, the sausage was different (like a long sausage sliced thin); we just didn't like it. Third, it was kind of salty tasting (maybe the sausage?). On the positive side, I will give the crust a nice nod as it has some crispness. I make a lot of pizzas at home and my homemade pizzas are every bit as good. The only location in Tri Cities I like better than mine is Raffael's. You may disagree, and that is fine, but, for our palate, we will not return.
Michael W — Google review
We love this pizza. Their slices are huge, so my son and I usually split a 2-slice order and add an extra drink. Their sandwich selections look awesome too. We're going to try one the next time we stop by. So grateful they're hanging around when so many other stores and restaurants are leaving our mall. And they are always busy. Plenty of seating inside and just outside the entryway (but still inside the mall). Larger groups will find the seating outside the restaurant to be more suitable.
Patricia W — Google review
Best pizza & salads, period! Always consistent. They load up the toppings on any pizza you order. The sauce is delicious. Salads are always crisp & don't get me started on the creamy Italian dressing. If you haven't tried it, do! And if you've not been in a while, what on earth are you waiting for?!

Y'all Southern folks made a Jersey boy blush tonight! So my wife and I if you follow our journey's,we travel all over the country with her working in healthcare. Me being from Jersey I am a snob when it comes to pizza. I admit it it is what it is Jersey is the best pizza. I haven't had a good slice in over a year since we have been back on the road. This place came highly recommended from an Uber driver and many others in the community. I've heard this story a thousand times from locals. I said screw it, I'll bite. We always get a simple pepperoni pizza to start off. We got takeout and my wife brought it home. I opened it up and I smiled. You saw crisp crust right off the jump, then you saw crispy brown cheese with oil on top which means they use real cheese. Real mozzarella. The snap on this pizza is what really could have made me blush though! Being able to fold the slice in half and just have amazing flavor with amazing sauce. While we are in town we will definitely be frequenting this place and if anybody is reading this I highly and strongly recommend it. Cheers guys! Sincerely a fat guy from Jersey!

Ordered a slice of pepperoni during the lunch period. Got a slice of already baked cheese pizza which they put pepperoni on and reheated. For over $8 with a small drink I was disappointed in the food and service. I also watched the manager staring at a fly on a pasta order waiting for pick up and still allowed the customer pick up the order. Pretty gross!

In my opinion it's one the only business that's keeping the Ft Henry Mall open. The pizza crust is one the best flavors I've eaten. If you're looking for something healthy, this ain't it (the pizza slices constantly drips with lots of grease).

Pizza restaurant
Johnny Brusco's New York Style Pizza is a family-friendly pizza chain known for its New York-style pies, submarine sandwiches, and calzones. The restaurant offers excellent service with attentive and friendly staff. Customers have praised the large portions of mozzarella sticks and delicious pizzas served fresh and hot from the kitchen. The menu also includes options like lasagna, spaghetti, and cheese breadsticks that have received positive feedback.
Food and service was outstanding. We were so pleased we mentioned to our server and she passed our message to a manager and he stopped at our table and thanks us. Recommend this place if you like pizza and Italian food.

This is the best pizza I have had in years. It's the closest thing to NYC pizza. It's great, floppy, and tasty, just like real pizza should be. The calzones are fantastic, with large cut veggies, real pepperoni, and very good marinara sause. The brunette is outstanding. This is absolutely the best I have ever had. You have to try it.

We called in an order on our way back from Knoxville and arrived about 930 last night. Hate to be one calling in an order an hour before they close but we wanted some good local pizza and was told this place had some of the best since they came under new management. Pizza was hot and ready when we pulled up. Cheesebread and marinara sauce was delicious. If thats the same sauce you use for other dishes, no wonder People love your food. Pizzas were great and we had the rest for dinner tonight after getting back home. Thanks again for helping us have a late dinner while visiting Kingsport

Waitress was awesome and so sweet. My lasagna was perfect. I shouldn't have eaten the whole thing, but - I couldn't stop!! Hubby's spaghetti was perfect. They even gave us a free garlic bread that we gobbled down. We didn't get pizza, but looking at everyone else's order - it definitely looked good! We will try it in the near future.

Came in today for first time. I was craving a calzone, and ordered the meat lovers. The dough tastes very fresh, it was packed with meats. If it only had a little more ricotta cheese, would've been perfect, but not a big deal. I would like to try other items next time. Olivia is a keeper. She is on top of things and very friendly. There is a rewards program and app which I joined because every dollar saved adds up.

Our salad was not prepared using fresh ingredients which was very saddening considering how much I wanted it. Both salads looked like this and more than 3/4 of the lettuce was bad. The cheese sticks were also pretty undercooked as the cheese didn’t even brown. I was not pleased with my experience.

Just picked up a carryout order. Only a 5 min drive back to my hotel and I was very disappointed. The pizza looks like it's been sitting for hours! Cheese looks funky. Crust dry and overcooked. Looks like they gave us there leftover pizza pie before closing. Luckily, my family was hungry and dove right in. But after first bite, agreed it didn't taste fresh.

We had pizza and the cheesy appetizer. Pizza was fine - not bad but definitely needs some Italian spices. The appetizer was awesome though. Our server did a good job with our party of 6. Everything was right and she was attentive. I don't remember her name but it was around Halloween and she was dressed more goth.

Fast food restaurant
Long John Silver's is a delightful counter-serve chain that specializes in serving up mouthwatering fried fish and seafood combos, alongside chicken and an array of tasty sides. Many visitors rave about the quality of the food, particularly highlighting perfectly cooked fish and shrimp, as well as crispy waffle fries that stand out from the usual fare. While some have had mixed experiences with hush puppies—finding them either delicious or overly hard—the overall consensus leans towards satisfaction with the main dishes.
The food was excellent the staff was friendly and helpful the store was clean this new manager at this store she is a great addition to this store my opinion she brings it to a higher level thank you for your hard work and dedication

Why do I keep giving this place a try? I am guessing Jennifer T (name on the receipt) wasn't prepared or having a good day. They are just not friendly. Slam a window in your face. When asked for a lot of ketchup for 14 hush puppies, I got 4 and a window slammed. I was patient for a rather long wait and all but this place needs to get it together.
Amanda — Google review
Have you a side of waffle fries with a hair! Absolutely disgusting. Spent $55 dollars here and the lady at the drive thru window treats you like your such a inconvenience just coming there!
Kayla M — Google review
This is how L.J.S. should be. Fish, check & shrimp cooked perfectly. Even the waffle fries were great. Most overcook them, so they're more like a pretzel than a fry. Store was clean, sauce dispensers worked, food was great & was ready quickly. Wish more of the L J.S. we're operated like this.
Steve M — Google review
I was really craving hush puppies. The food was exceptionally delicious. The hushpuppies that came with the fish were good the 12 extra hushpuppies were so hard my dogs could not chew them . I could not eat them, wasted $5. Think they had been cooked all day . Guess eat the fish or chicken leave the hushpuppies at the restaurant.

We ordered food online and went thru the drive-thru to pick it up, but was told to come inside because the food was still cooking and would be ready in 3 minutes. No problem because that means food would be hot. Our food was supposed to be ready at 408pm, and at 426 I was told they were waiting on 1 shrimp, while everything else had been sitting in the window waiting. When I finally asked for a refund, I was told by the manager that he could go back there and "personally" make my food fresh, while another customer had just walked in waiting outside waiting over 20 minutes for his food, and a lady and her Don had been sitting inside waiting over 15 minutes. Theblady running the drive thru has been telling everybody 3 minutes, no mattercehat the wait time is, and then the wait time ends up being 15-20 or more. The manager asked her about this, and she said she tells everybody 3 minutes no matter how long the wait is. Plus, it also takes so long because they take all of the orders and put each box on a scale and put a specific amount of food in it. If its too much or too little, they exchange pieces out to get it as close to a specific weight as possible. This place is garbage. I was the 3rd person in there, and even with 6 employees they still had a massive backup. Save your time and go somewhere else. I asked for my refund and left

I ordered a 12 piece dinner , ask for it to be made fresh. I'll let them know I didn't mind waiting one bit but the fish , chicken & hush puppies had been deep fried for the second time. You can tell by how it tastes & how well done & extra crispy it is.

Fast food restaurant
Sonic Drive-In is a nostalgic fast-food destination that captures the charm of classic drive-in service. While my recent visit had its ups and downs—like missing out on their lemonberry slush, which I was really looking forward to—the food still impressed me. The garlic butter hamburger was a hit with the kids, and I enjoyed their refreshing lemonade slush as an alternative. Sonic is particularly famous for its handcrafted shakes, which are simply irresistible!
So I'll be as brief and honest as possible, I go to Sonic for their handcrafted shakes, Period!! That's not to say their other menu items aren't good, I couldn't say. I'll order more next time just for you folks. But the shakes are fantastic!!

3 stars only because I ordered the new drink and they didn’t inform me they were out of the straw for it. I clicked the button again after I paid and got my stuff and that’s when I was informed they didn’t have them, which was the main reason I went. Other than that, food was really good and fresh. The drink itself is delicious and was really well made!

Our service was not fabulous today but everyone has off days. So not really that big of a deal. The food was really good. The garlic butter hamburger was a big hit with my children. I went for a lemonberry slush but apparently even though it's on the menu they no longer serve that. That makes me very sad. I would go all the way to Sonic just for that but it's okay. The lemonade slush was good too. I miss the roller skate at places like this!
Nichole G — Google review
Waited 10 minutes at the drive through, and not a single person attempted to take my order. I get you might be busy or short staffed, but 10 minutes with no service is crazy.
James B — Google review
I love going to Sonic because you can get a drink and add a fruit, flavor or candy. The carhops are really nice.

Had been on the road all day & needed something asap. They were amazing. Had the cheeseburger. And the onion rings. Really enjoyed it.
Simone P — Google review
Placed an online/mobile order for 2 slushes and an ice cream. After waiting 35 minutes we finally received the order to our car. Neither slushes we’re mixed up or tasted remotely close to the flavor ordered. Poor service and poor quality not so fast food.

Love Sonic’s Ocean Water!! It’s just one of those small things that makes me wish I were at the beach. If you order from the Sonic app, get drinks and slushes 1/2 price.
