Kanali tou Erota, also known as Canal d'Amour, is a small and romantic beach cove located near the village of Sidari on the north coast of the island. It features sandy arcs nestled between rock formations, creating a picturesque setting. According to local legend, swimming through the canal with a loved one ensures staying together forever, while swimming alone promises meeting your true love within a year.
Definitely my favorite place in Corfu, the views are incredible, and a lot of view points before going to the Canal. The place is nice a little bit crowded but still space to swim and to do little cliff jumps, the water is warmer than in other places in Corfu.

swam here in October. made it over to the rocks. 15 minute swim across choppy waters... safe as long as you are a strong and confident swimmer. also swam through the cave which is a bit rough but easier if you swim with the incoming tide and not against it. my pictures were taken from the offshore rocks so unique vantage point
DrifterNick — Google review
I LOVED this spot. I came at 5pm and it was perfect. The sun was hot, but I never needed sunscreen. The water was refreshingly cold and serene. There are many places to lay around on the rocks. I never even went down to the sandy 🏖️ beach as it was way too overcrowded. There are so many fun places to jump into the water, little caves to swim inside of or climb onto. The view is spectacular. There is free public parking right at the entrance.
Jo J — Google review
We were there at 7 in the evening. The waves were very big, and by then only a few people were swimming. The sun shines beautifully there, it’s a great spot for photos. Definitely check it out if you’re in Corfu. The water is murky for swimming, but the view from above is stunning.
Hanna K — Google review
The canal is really nice and worth a visit. It can get a bit crowded (as expected), but still enjoyable. I’d recommend spending a few hours here to take in the atmosphere before heading to one of the many nearby beaches.

Canal d’Amour – A Natural Masterpiece in Corfu Visiting Canal d’Amour in Corfu was like stumbling into a dream-landscape of sea, stone, and legend. From the moment I arrived, I felt its magic — the way the sunlight strikes the sandstone cliffs, the narrow channel carved by wind and waves, the promise of romance woven in every ripple. This place isn’t just a beach; it’s an immersive moment in nature’s artistry. First, the setting: Canal d’Amour is on the north-western coast of Corfu, near the village of Sidari between Sidari and Peroulades. The location is quite accessible by car or taxi, with nearby parking — though during the busy season you’ll want to arrive early to avoid the crowds. What makes Canal d’Amour truly special are the rock formations. Sheer sandstone cliffs sculpted over centuries have created a channel and several small coves and caves. Natural arches, tunnels, small lagoons, all of them bathed in crystalline, turquoise water that invites you to swim, snorkel, explore. Legend enhances the atmosphere: swim through the channel with someone you love, they say, and your bond will last forever. It’s romantic, playful, maybe a little cheesy — but I loved every bit of that folklore. The beach area itself is relatively small, which gives it charm but also poses limitations. At times the shore is crowded, towels and umbrellas packed in tightly, especially in peak summer. There’s beauty in that shared enthusiasm, but also moments when you have to compete with others for a good spot. If possible, go early in the morning or later in the afternoon when the light is softer and the crowds ease up. Amenities are pretty good. There are sunbeds and umbrellas for rent, nearby tavernas and cafés where you can grab something to eat or drink, restrooms, places to change. It’s not ultra-luxurious, but everything you need for a comfortable visit is there. One of my favorite moments was exploring the sea caves and the small bays. Swimming under rock overhangs, peering into caverns, feeling the water shift from calm and shallow to deeper blue as you move away from the shore. The views from above are just as striking: walking along the rock edges, looking out over the sea and cliffs, and watching the sun set — that golden hour is unforgettable. If I had to sum it up: Canal d’Amour is more than a photo-op — it’s nature, story, and landscape fused in one place. It’s not perfect (crowds can be a downside, the beach small), but those imperfections don’t erase the wonder. I’d absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting Corfu. Go with open eyes, a spirit for adventure, and maybe someone you care about — the legend says it matters 😉.

The Canal d’Amour, or “Channel of Love,” is a famous natural attraction near the town of Sidari on the northern coast of Corfu. It consists of unique sandstone cliffs and narrow coves carved by the sea, creating small, intimate beaches and crystal-clear waters. According to local legend, couples who swim through the canal together will stay in love forever, which adds a romantic charm to the place. The scenery is striking, with golden cliffs, turquoise water, and hidden corners perfect for swimming, snorkeling, or simply enjoying the sun.

A coastal feature a.k.a the Canal D'amour. The soft shale or a similar rock type is being eroded by the waves to expose the coloured strata and form a little canal and larger bay.

This beautiful beach is perfect for a relaxing day in the sun. The clear water and soft sand make it a great spot to swim or just lay in the sun. There are also two small islands nearby you can swim to if you want some privacy. It's a great place to visit in the spring or fall, but be warned that it can get quite busy during the summer.
The best beach on the north coast. Very comfortable to swim. The big rocks in the sea are easily accessible to dive from. If you come by 10-11 am you can take place on the beach with a natural shadow from the cliff. Some days there might be a line of seaweed on sand but the water is clear as further you swim. Plenty of free parking straight on of the beach. Stairs down are not very steep.
Maryna L — Google review
Apotripiti Beach is absolutely stunning! The turquoise water is crystal clear and perfect for swimming, and the soft sandy shore makes it really comfortable for relaxing. The rock formations around the beach add a dramatic and unique beauty you won’t find everywhere. It’s less crowded than some of the other beaches in the area, so it feels peaceful and almost hidden away. Sunset here is magical — highly recommend staying to watch it. And worth a swim around Mermaid's rock.
Stephen M — Google review
Fabulous natural sandy beach with cristal clear water and beautiful views. The parking is very close but you need to be careful because the surface is not flat. There was no sun beds or umbrellas but we didn’t need them because the beach offers a natural shadow from the cliff. The only downside is that we discovered in the last day .
Isidor T — Google review
This is our favourite beach in Sidari, it's just so chilled. You can walk out far enough. Also love to swim to the two rocks in the sea, the further one outs great to jump off.
Nicole — Google review
It's a crowded cramped beach, but all around nice vibes for families. I personally wouldn't recommend this beach to anyone looking for a moderately peaceful place to relax. Furthermore, there's cliff diving which many young people do, it's safe with a thrilling drop and deep waters. (Only for experienced swimmers) Watch out for when you go down to the beach on one the entrances, the staircase and platform can be particularly slippery.
Breadb — Google review
Very nice beach. Easy access, small parking area closed to the beach is available for free.

Quiet and scenic beach with clear water. A great place to swim, unwind, and enjoy the view. Free parking next to the beach.

Beautiful sandy beach but too crowded. I recommend going early in the morning or late in the evening. The water is pleasantly warm and there are large waves.

Pizza restaurant
Napoli is an Italian restaurant known for its freshly made pizzas and high-quality ingredients used in all their dishes. The homemade bread is a must-try as well. Visitors have praised the welcoming staff, with special mention of Michael, who made their dining experience memorable. The food is described as fresh, tasty, and served in generous portions at reasonable prices.
Just greatest hospitality, kindest staff and top notch service. We came way past the closing time and the staff opened the kitchen for us. Made greatest pita gyros and just made our evening. Thank you so much!!! And we came some days after - stifado meat was perfection and we got a free bottle of wine because it was visit nr two! So we made one more visit also with free wine and great Greek cuisine. Recommended!!!

This restaurant was literally across the street from my hotel making it a convenient place to eat. The atmosphere of this place is amazing and it's always packed every time, making every night lively. The service here is also outstanding, waiters are friendly and cracks jokes with me and my partner. Most importantly, the food is very tasty with good gluten free options (which is also said on the sign outside the entrance). The menu's however do not have allergy warnings which could be improved. Furthermore, the onion rings could have been a bigger portion, it looks slightly empty and may not be worth its' price with a larger group.

We were pleasantly welcomed and shown to our seat. Restaurant is well set out and welcoming with a great atmosphere. Service was good even though it was quite busy. Drinks we're ordered and ready in good time as was the food, which was well presented and super tasty. Very impressive restaurant you need to try with a great selection of food and drink.

Our group of 7 ate here last night 19/07/2024. It wasn't too busy at the time and they were easily able to accommodate us quickly. We were 4 adults and 3 teenage children. We ordered garlic bread with cheese for the table to start. It was amazing. Soft and fresh bread, garlic flavoured cheese oozed out from inside as you cut into it. Incredible and by far the best I've ever had anywhere in the world. I ordered the devil (hot and spicy) pizza, my wife ordered the Capricciosa, my daughter ordered the Italian and my son ordered the Sirloin Steak. The pizzas were excellent 👌. Really good. Cooked to perfection, thin and crispy base. The steak was good too, although it came with caramelised onions on top. My son hates onions and this wasn't mentioned in the menu. I scraped them off onto my Devil pizza though and they were delicious so no harm done and he ate his steak. The service was quick and efficient at the start of our meal. They took our order and drinks came quickly as did our food. Because it was soo hot, our drinks finished fast and again, were quickly replaced. The restaurant started to fill shortly after and the service naturally became less attentive as you should expect. We had asked for dessert menu but no one came to take our order for a while so we opted for the bill. To be fair we were really full from our main course it would be gluttony to have dessert. Prices are reasonable and our bill for 7 with 2 starters, 2 drinks each and a main course each was €163. I would absolutely eat here again and would highly recommend to anyone.

D Amour Beach Bar Restaurant is a popular spot located near the Canal d'Amour, offering stunning views and a relaxed atmosphere. The iconic bold lettering of the bar makes it perfect for Instagram-worthy shots. With a large deck overlooking the sea, swing seats, and loungers with gauze panels blowing in the breeze, it's an ideal place to unwind.
Can’t describe with words. The best beach bar I have ever seen in Corfu. So quality, so nice people, so nice service and the food. 2 sunbed + umbrella 20€. They also have a pool where you can use. So quality of sunbeds and the common area. Drinks are 8-9€. Beautiful place. I would highly recommend.

Ordered the Octopus, which was totally over grilled, chewy and charred, unfortunately the burned taste overshadowed the rest of the flavour I was craving for. My partner had Feta Linguine and was searching for the feta. Long waiting time too…only compensation is the beautiful location

We went on Thursday at 8:30 p.m. for their Greek Night (dance, music, and even plate smashing!) and it was such a fantastic experience. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was lively and well above expectations, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. A special thanks to Maria for her wonderful service! The price/quality ratio is excellent too. Highly recommended!

One handy thing: parking here isn’t expensive at all. You can just pull in, park, and start enjoying your time. The team at the Beach Club really knows how to create an amazing vibe. Plus they were very friendly. We stopped by just for cocktails and some finger food, but wow—the drinks were something else. Everyone in our group agreed: every cocktail and mocktail was fantastic, even the virgin versions. As for the food, the tacos and bao were my absolute favorites. The bao especially packed a punch of flavor and were incredibly tasty. Paired with the drinks and the chill atmosphere, this spot is perfect for kicking back and enjoying the moment 🍸🌮

UNFRIENDLY and OVERPRICED The waitress was in a bad mood and made us feel like we were bothering her (it’s her job, after all…). We weren’t allowed to use the toilet unless we specifically asked — they had to unlock it for us. We paid €6 for two tiny glasses of Coke, not even from a bottle: no ice, no lemon slice, nothing. Honestly, you get better service at a gas station.
Lisa C — Google review
Came in to an empty bar while we waited for our bus. Wanted to get two cokes and sit down. Asked if I could use the toilet and was aggressively told to wait a minute. Two cokes for 6 euro, poured from a plastic bottle behind the bar, and they were completely flat! Asked if we could pay by card and were told the system was down. We had no cash on us so he told us to sit down and wait. Eventually "the system" miraculously started to work when I asked for the third time. You also can't use the bathroom without asking the barman. He puts in a code for the bathroom and doesn't let you see it. Absolutely insane stuff. Horrid place, barman was rude and unlikeable. Avoid this and go to basically any other bar nearby.

such rude staff. the waitress was okay but she was reacting as if the things we were asking (if they have ice cream, if she can bring us bottled water or tap etc) were bothering her. a man came in and told us in a very rude manner to take the handbag (????) off the seat. it wasn't dirty or wet, it was literally just my handbag.

The food here is diabolical, and don’t even get me started on the staff. Ordered a carbonara which was literally just spaghetti with milk and two tiny pieces of bacon on top with a couple of slithers of slimy mushroom. Had two bites and left it, so politely asked when getting the bill can we have a refund for the carbonara please as it clearly hadn’t been touched, the nasty rude waitress then went on to raise her voice at me turning all eyes on me in the restaurant saying “well I served this to many people today and no one complained, maybe carbonara just not your taste, absolutely no refund, you pay now!” Then slams the bill down on the table almost knocking drinks everywhere. I’m sorry but how can she tell me carbonara is “not my taste”? I eat it every week I love carbonara, I go out for it all the time and make it at home constantly, I know what carbonara tastes like thank you! But that was not carbonara it was vile, spaghetti mixed with a bit of runny milk it was really shocking. No refund was given so I was left to pay for something that didnt even get eaten and not only that I was left feeling embarrassed as I had just been shouted at by an angry woman with an attitude problem who clearly just didn’t want to be working there at all, in a restaurant full of people. Do not recommend this place at all absolutely shocking. Even the drinks are horrible, watered down wine and warm flat beer. Ants all over the tables and rubbish all over the floors. The toilets had bins overflowing with tissues with faeces on them and used sanitary pads, looked like they hadn’t been cleaned for weeks. And to top is off the staff have attitude and anger issues, no thank you. Stay away from this place it is revolting.

At Mediterraneo Restaurant in Sidari, every meal feels like a culinary phenomenon. From the warm smiles of the staff to the flavor‑packed dishes, it’s the kind of place that exceeds expectations again and again. The mixed grill plates are generous, juicy, and ideal when you want solid value. The garlic mussels stand out—a heavenly starter drenched in sauce you’ll wish you could soak up with endless crusty bread. And that chicken in pepper sauce? Simply phenomenal.

We had a caprese Salad which is being sold as a normal salad and for the price it was tiny. But the main reason I'm giving such a low rating is the shrimps with garlic sauce. The shrimps themselves were okay, but the garlic sauce did not taste much like garlic and had a weird consistency. The vegetable on the side were overcooked frozen vegetables, they tasted a bit like flour and the peas had almost a grey kind of color, that's how overcooked they were. The fries were also just cheap frozen fries. All in all disappointing considering the very good ratings. Even tough I wanna say the service from the main waiter was great and super quick, the others seemed less bothered.

Greek restaurant
Aquarius Restaurant offers a picturesque view of the Aegean Sea, making it an ideal spot for a sunset dinner during your Corfu holiday. The restaurant is known for its accommodating hosts and hostesses. If you're a fan of rock music, consider visiting on Wednesdays or Saturdays to enjoy live entertainment. Guests have praised the charming views from the restaurant and complimented the delicious dinner options, particularly highlighting the salmon risotto and Greek dishes.
The food was amazing and I love the view, perfect spot in Canal de amour the waiter Jimmy is great! And Alban & Elena the bar maid makes great cocktails.

🌊Top location and delicious food — plus, the waiter was really funny! We even exchanged a few words in our own language, Romanian. The hospitality was outstanding, the dishes were carefully prepared, and the view was absolutely stunning.❤️

It was delicious. I’d like to add to my previous comment — this was my second visit to this amazing place, truly the best restaurant on the island of Corfu! If you’re looking for delicious food and stunning views, this is the place to be. We ordered grilled sea bass and salmon, along with the seafood salad — everything was absolutely delicious. The food was perfectly cooked. They also offer a great selection of drinks, and my husband especially enjoyed the local Corfu beer. The team here is fantastic, and a special shout-out to the chef — you truly impressed us. Highly recommended!

The best food we had in Corfu! The service was fantastic, and the dishes were incredibly tasty. The best dish was the tagliatelle alfredo. The profiterole was also fluffy and delicious! Everything was amazing! A big bravo to everyone who works hard at the restaurant to deliver such an exceptional result!

All staff were absolutely amazing and lovely to all ages, they also speak many languages. We tried many places in the area, but none could compare to Aquarius. Food is wonderful with many options. Amazing seating and view of the sea and the Albanian coast. Would 100% recommend.

Okay, so opinion about the place is true. Yes, the owner is rude and his daughter as well. Everything stays in the family ❤️. Male Team is good. Landscape is amazing, atmosphere so so, drinks are ok

A beautiful place with a stunning view of the sea. A huge minus for the mistake - I ordered cheesecake and got a brownie. When I reported it to the staff, the waiter just laughed and said he'd tell the chef. That’s all.

Absolutely beautiful food and the views are amazing! The lobster was delicious. The staff are brilliant, especially Jimmy! Loved our visit and will return again. 10/10 xxxx

Calipso in Sidari is a fantastic place to eat, offering the best value for money on Corfu. The portion sizes are just right, unlike many other places where they tend to be massive. The traditional Greek food is very affordable and the service is great and friendly. Visitors have been impressed by the polite and English-speaking waiters, as well as the incredible prices compared to other restaurants in the area.
Not sure how this place has got as many bad reviews as it was one of the best we had in Sidari for value for money. The dishes were just the right size as if you go to a lot of places the portions sizes are massive and you can't even finish. The waiter was brilliant!!

Literally the worst restaurant experience I’ve ever had, we’re all lost for words. Was greeted by possibly the world’s rudest waiter. Came to ordering food, we ordered a medium rare sirloin, a pepperoni pizza, meatballs, garlic bread, I tried to order veggie moussaka (not available) then veggie souvlaki (also not available)- the only option for a vegetarian was a Greek side salad, I should’ve left then! Waited well over an hour for this food to arrive, the steak arrived very thin and well done, the pizza was not cooked basically raw dough with cheese and uncooked pepperoni, the meatballs were inedible my friend described them as having been sat out for a week before being served. All that was edible was the garlic bread and salad which I feel is hard to get wrong. The waiter wasn’t willing to hear what was wrong after he asked us and dismissed us shooing us out the door, and just for clarification we never made a fuss and were all very diplomatic about the poor situation. All in all steer clear, the barman at the next bar couldn’t believe we’d been as it is notoriously awful. Also it is called mammas not calipso don’t be fooled!

**** AVOID **** We chose to eat at this traditional Greek style restaurant because of the fact it is a taverna traditional style restaurant. The list of errors and reasons to avoid this place is endless. If you want to come here for entertainment value, due to the waiter pictured, come, just don't be offended when he completely ignores you. When you do eventually get his attention to order your food and drinks, most of the menu is unavailable and whilst you choose something else off the menu he stands there tapping his pen and sighing loudly as if to rush your choice. When the food arrives it's slammed down in front of you and he walks away in a huff, with no comment of "enjoy your food". The food itself is very average, and that's being polite. Overcooked, chewy, dry, and that was all 4 of our dishes for the 4 people at our table. We did observe approximately 6 other famailies of 3 or 4 come in to the restaurant after us, and within 5-10 minutes, leave again, due to this waiter and his appalling attitude. When we did eventually get the bill after asking for it twice, that was the most emotion we gor from him when he saw the cash coming out. Say's it all really. It's a shame because this restaurant has the potential to be a really nice place, the location the traditional style, the menu. Just not with this particular waiter, as he will push more people away that are not willing to tolerate his petulant attitude and behaviour. If he doesn't want to be there, serving people, he needs to find another job where he doesn't have to interact with the paying customers. We won't be visiting again.

I don't recommend eating here. I thought it could be a good place as I saw many advertisements outside of the dishes of this restaurant, and some people inside, but I regret it now. The grilled shrimps- only 4 pieces!!! were (from the ordered dishes) best - price 8 eur, fried calmari were old, hard, not soft and there were about 5 small pieces - price 7,5 eur. French fries was so oily you could easily squeeze the oil from the french fries. Everything was very bad prepared. Visit here not worth an 1 euro. The garlic bread was very oily. Totally full of fat. This is a bad joke to me. I really regret it. There were even no servettes or olive oil. What's more - even the glass (for ordered white wine) were totaly dirty. Next bad joke. Please don't waste your money coming here.

If you are reading this review, DO NOT GO TO THIS RESTAURANT!!!! My husband made a HUGE mistake thinking this was a restaurant he was looking for. Unfortunately the restaurant we wanted to go to was very close by and had similar signs on the outside of the restaurant. The restaurant we were supposed to was rated 4.6. When our food came and I tried the food, I thought there was no way this could be the correct restaurant. I thought maybe the chef changed or something, but when we checked our phones, we realized we were at the WRONG PLACE!!!! This is probably the worst restaurant I have EVER been to. Just look at the pictures of the food. They look tired and sad. Thank goodness we didn't order more food!!! Run away from this place and do not enter!!!

Can't recommend this one more. Waiter was really polite and nice. He spoke English nicely. We enjoyed our food a lot. With good price! We were surprised!

THE BEST RESTAURANT IN SIDARI! <3 Very delicious foods, big portions, very kind stuff and very low prices. We ate the menu from A to Z and everything was perfect and big portion. We always got some traditonal cream for gift before the main course, we only paid for the delicious bread. (1,6 €) This place is baby-friendly, we've been here with a toddler. We tried other restaurants, but this is THE BEST in every way.

The best meal that we have me and my girlfriend in Corfu. The service was great and friendly. The prices are incredible compared with the other restaurants in the area. Definitely I will come back to this restaurant every time.
