Shallow waters ok for a splash about but not for a swim. The water was not clear - so you can’t see the bottom. A handful of beach bar restaurants and street vendors. The beach itself is very long and kept tidy.

What can i say, this place is just magical especially just about sunset when all the little quirky shops and restaurants turns on their fairy lights it's just so very beautiful and feels like you're in a space looking at one of our Galaxy arm, it's really is something you should experience in person, and if you think the photos is nice wait till you see it in person. Also the beach under this place with its famous little house at the bottom is well worth a visit as well.. Food is very nice and tasty, might not be cheap by local standards but for me with my money at the time of this review is equal to nearly 6 times the Brazilian money it's about a third of what you'll pay for a very decent meal in the UK, the prices for the food in restaurant prices are fixed but anything else you can haggle the price down quite a bit, don't pay the first price they say as they will hike the price up if they detect you're not from the country, just pay what you're comfortable with or politely walk away. I went there with my family, my wife did the talking as i don't talk Portuguese and as it turned out my father in low is an incredibly good haggler 🤣🤣 it's almost always was the kids that gave us away as they don't stop chattering in english 😡😂🤣 I simply love this place, it's stunning nature and views, and highly recommend a visit right around sunset where the magic happensand it comes alive.

Praia do Rio Verde is a challenge to drive to because the road is made of dirt. I had an SUV and made it ok. A small car I don't recommend. Once there, the bar and praia are very good! Many families. They allow coolers to bring extra drinks. The bar food is very good and the beer is perfectly cold!

Despite being next to Praia dos Coqueiros, Rio Verde beach is nothing like its neighbour. It’s quiet, empty most of the time and overall one of the best spots to relax in Trancoso. It’s a really short walk from busier beaches if that’s what floats your boat but definitely a day out alone in the sand with very few people around make for one of the best beaches around.

For mains, we tried three fish dishes—each delicious in its own way. The grouper came with a surprising and tasty banana purée, the white fish with wasabi sauce was beautifully balanced alongside grilled veggies, and the soy-ginger white fish was packed with umami. Tropical cocktails hit just the right note, too. Anyone traveling tot this place do not go here. Literally one of the first to sit down and got two dishes out of the 5. It then took 2 hours to not get the rest and we had to get the check earlier just to leave. The check took 40 minutes to get alone and they wouldn’t take off some of the stuff they forgot.
