Water park
Water & Amusement Parks
Theme Parks
Siam Park is an outdoor water park with a Thai theme, offering thrilling slides for adventure seekers and family-friendly attractions. Visitors can experience the adrenaline rush of a 28-meter vertical drop slide and artificial wave pools, while children can enjoy the dedicated play area and entertaining sea lion shows. The park also features a dolphinarium and areas for relaxation, including lazy rivers. Additionally, animal lovers can explore Jungle Park to witness captivating bird shows and observe jaguars and pumas.
This is by far the best waterpark I have ever visited. The variety of slides is outstanding, and I particularly enjoyed spending time in the wave pool, which was both exciting and relaxing. A useful tip for future visitors: although the official opening time listed on Google is 10:00, I highly recommend arriving around 8:30–9:00 a.m. This allows you to secure the best sunbeds, especially those located in front of the wave pool, which offer the most convenient and enjoyable spot for the day. Another recommendation is to purchase the Fast Pass (€38 at the time of my visit). It proved to be absolutely worth it, as regular queues for many of the popular slides were between 40–60 minutes. Thanks to the pass, I was able to enjoy all the attractions without long waiting times. Overall, this park exceeded my expectations and provided an experience that was both thrilling and memorable. I will certainly return on my next visit, it truly offers a perfect mix of fun, relaxation, and excitement.
Maria S — Google review
This water park was great, the rides were fast and really got your adrenaline pumping. The staff were friendly and were doing their job efficiently trying to cut down the waiting times. I recommend buying your tickets in advance and try to get the fast pass ticket. As when we tried it had sold out in the whole park. The waiting lines were so long, by the time you got to the top of the line on your next slide you were completely dry. There was typically 2 lines one normal and the other fast track, the fast track steps were always wet while the normal line was dry just to show you how long the normal line is. We went on a ride with 4 people on a floaty. There were 4 girls in a group and they were in fast track and we were in the normal queue. They went on the ride 4 times before we even got to go on it once. So make sure to get your fast pass ticket. They have lockers, showers and lots of shops. The rides were definitely enjoyable. We had so much fun when in Tenerife again we will definitely visit again with our fast pass tickets. I definitely recommend going to Siam Park. Just make sure to get here early so you have enough time to go on all the slides.
Honest R — Google review
Best in the word. I do recomand buying a VIP pass. A bit expensive but if you are a fan of parks like that is really worthy. The queues for each ride were infernal. We end up going 4 or 5 times on one slide while other people were advancing only 5 steps. The same for all of them except for one water slide which doesn’t have a fast pass but is still worth it at least once. Definitely you will need some water shoes but they do sell it there at around 11 euros. You can take a locker aswell for your belongings. Be there before they open, make sure you don’t miss anything.
Iulia J — Google review
Amazing water park! We went on a Tuesday mid October and it was busier than expected. We arrived at around 9.15 am and went straight into the park, we had pre-booked VIP which was so worth it. You are handed a towel and a wristband, then we headed straight for the lockers (which was a good idea as by 10:30 there was already a queue). After leaving our things in the locker, we waited for tower of power (rides open at 10am) and were first on the slide. After the is, we spent the morning going around the park with little to no queue in the fast pass lane. During the afternoon, we had to queue 5-10 mins for rides, even with fast pass, but the normal lanes were queuing for 30 mins - 1 hour so it was really worth it. The food is pretty basic (hot dogs, fries etc.) but as it was included with VIP we stopped for lunch around 1pm. In the buffet restaurant there is more choice and you can take as much as you want with the fast pass ticket. Prices for food were fairly reasonable though and you could buy a meal with a drink for 10-15€. From 1-4 seemed to be the busiest time in the park, with queues of 10-15 minutes even with fast pass. But after 4pm all the single use fast pass tickets seemed to have finished and we basically had free rein on any slide and were able to go around multiple times with no queue. Not sure how many VIP tickets they sell per day, but if you don’t want to spend your day in a queue it’s well worth the money. You don’t necessarily need water shoes - just bring an old pair of flip flops and leave them at the bottom of rides but with water shoes you’d definitely be more comfortable. The free park bus was completely full, but it’s just a 5 minute walk to the public bus which will take you back to los cristianos or las americas for less than €2.
Izzy — Google review
Amazing experience at Siam Park that is well worth a visit if you are in Tenerife. We went on a Thursday as a family of 4 ( I would avoid much of weekend unless you have to ). We booked tickets online (we booked twin ticket with Loro Parque ) but also there was no queue if you booked online.( queue were big for people buying tickets at entrance ). I suggest you get there at opening to catch a place to set "base" , as they fill up very quick. There are loads of buses and taxis that can get you to and from Siam Park. Food inside is well priced and good. Went on many rides but everywhere there was a fair bit of a queue min 15-30 min wait for each, so highly recommend the Fast Track pass ( you get fast track once for all rides ) but well worth €38. Towards the end of the day the ride queues are not that big so use the pass early and then less queues in afternoon. Facilities inside the park are great, clean and staff are very friendly. The Wave area is amazing.
Lucian G — Google review
Absolutely, 100% worth a visit, definitely worth the money! You won't be disappointed. If you don't mind queuing for rides (for a while), I highly recommend VIP fastrack or the all-inclusive package (which includes locker, towels and food and drinks) Definitely take beach shoes as the concrete is ruffled in some areas and can be quite painful underfoot, let alone hot in summer months. Lots wore flip flops or crocks and put them on their wrist during rides. A lot of the queue waiting lines are shaded with trees, so not too much time standing around in the sun. Every ride is worth the wait. There's also a free bus from a few local areas. I'd recommend booking online (blue light discount through some websites!) you can buy tickets at the gate but they sell out for fastrack quite fast! You won't be disappointed, worth every penny. We absolutely loved this place and will most certainly be back 🫶
Angharad D — Google review
Excellent place, easily you need to book at least half a day for this attraction. If you like animals you will be not bored for a whole day. Food and drinks available on site. Wasn't that crowded in October. Highly recommend.
Karman B — Google review
Aquatic park really great for kids and adults différents place with incredible sensation. Many food places and even for smokers in the Thai bar only . Better to bring your own water shoes really practical or can cost you around 12 pounds and probably easy to find in the Thai shop . You can rent a locker for 7 euros but before to take a locker be sure of the one you choose, looking the map , because there is different places and you have a big changing room. After enjoy your day

Shopping mall
Shopping
Siam Mall is a unique shopping destination located in the heart of tourism on the island of Tenerife. This indoor-outdoor shopping mall features Thai-influenced architecture and a Zen-like vibe, offering a new concept in shopping centers. With over 70 shops dedicated to fashion, leisure, and dining, it provides one of the most complete commercial options in the Canary Islands. The mall boasts well-known brands such as Mango, Zara, Guess, Swarovski, and more.
Lots of shops and restaurants here. Also the supermarket is quite big on ground floor. Lots of easy access to all levels. Lifts, flat escalators etc. stores are all really good sizes. Beautiful fountains inside. It’s a really nice place to visit. Something there for everyone.
Wolvoblakeys — Google review
Great shopping centre with lots of restaurants and shops to explore. Lots of toilets and awesome water features. It even has a supermarket. The car park was extremely full and very difficult to get a space however we didn't realise there was an underground parking level.
Hannah D — Google review
Huge, varied games like outdoor chess, plenty of shops both clothing, scents and food. The smell coming from some of them was amazing. Definitely worth the trip. The clothing shop checkout was futuristic, youll see what i mean. Blew my mind. Also, If you get a bus from Adeje, you get picked up same exact bus bay you get dropped off. I mention that as their was some confusion amongst people outside I found.
LPR — Google review
The mall was nice but the top floor was extremely hot. There are several stores and a huge supermarket. We ended up going on a public holiday because everything else was closed. So it was quite busy that day. Be careful of the small cars that children drive. Sometimes they do not pay attention and almost crash up against people. At a certain point we decided to leave due to the crowd. We waited about 30-40 minutes for a taxi. In the future I would probably visit again, but not on a holiday.

Amazing place to visit!! Such an incredible place, lots of lovely fashionable shops. Beautiful scenery and decor, water feature was so cool! Good restaurant options for getting something to eat, you could easily waste the day away shopping, looking and enjoying it!

Nice thai mall. It's a great idea to have an outside part on the second floor. There's nice decoration and a fountain. It's recommended to visit.

Plenty of shops high end and on the more budget scale. Great selection for food and also drinks. Play areas for children and great parking. Would definitely recommend this mall and I shall definitely be returning! ☺️

Free bus to the shopping mall, worth a visit but be warned it's not super big. We spent just over an hour and found what we needed before heading for the free retur bus to near our hotel.

Playa de las Américas

Beach
Playa de las Américas is a vibrant coastal resort district known for its lively nightclubs and beautiful sandy beaches offering various water sports. For those interested in exploring the culinary history of the Canary Islands, a visit to a restaurant at the luxury Villa Cortes hotel is a must. The renowned chef Diego Schattenhofer creates dishes that reflect the local cuisine, using ingredients sourced from specific locations on the island.
Lovely beach and surrounding areas, lots of shopping malls, some of which are underground, it can get busy with tourists and locals likewise when it’s a hot as everyone flocks to the beach. It’s pretty much catering for the English speaking traveller as lots of food places have familiar restaurants like Indian, Chinese, Italian as well as Spanish food, vegetarian isn’t catered for that well so it’s better to cook for yourself if you are vegetarian as fresh vegetables are in abundance.
Tahira R — Google review
Playa de Las Américas in Tenerife is the perfect spot for sun, fun, and relaxation! The beaches are beautiful with black sand and clear water, great for swimming or just chilling out. There’s a lively vibe with plenty of bars, restaurants, and shops all around. It’s super tourist-friendly and always full of energy. Whether you’re into beach days or nightlife, this place has it all. A great holiday destination you’ll want to come back to!

Nice for for a walk with plenty of shops nearby. We didn't go on the beach as not into it personally. There were surfers near by in the wavy bits of the sea. Great opportunities to see and take pictures of a sunset. I took some near the surfing area

Playa de las Américas Review Playa de las Américas feels like a second home, with an inviting atmosphere and a vibrant surf scene. The beach offers amazing waves for both beginners and advanced surfers, making it a perfect spot for all skill levels. With beautiful people all around, the fun continues off the beach at the numerous bars and restaurants featuring live music. Having visited three times in two years, I can confidently say it’s a fantastic destination for surf, sun, and good times!

Puerto Los Cristianos, located in the prestigious resort area of Tenerife, is a popular tourist spot with high rents and prices in restaurants and bars. However, it offers great profitability for real estate investments. The neighborhood belongs to the municipality of Arona on the southwest coast of Tenerife. It's known for its large open-air market where visitors can find a variety of items including gifts, clothes, and local souvenirs.
Lovely beach and protected swimming zone. You can hire sunbeds and sunshades if you wish. €4 for each.

Lovely beach to lounge and chill out on. Lots of Shops and bars are on the front, catering for all tastes. Lovely ice cream place midway. I spent time watching the volley ball...or maybe just the guys playing volleyball in honesty. The sea is cordoned off, so you can't go too far out..which I think is a good idea. Family friendly. I didn't see any pets, so maybe not pet friendly. But that's a positive, as there is no hidden surprise in the sand!

Really lovely area. It was so easy to find the place at the port for our boat trip, everything is sign posted which is great. The beach there itself is lovely, for young children its a great place to swim as its quite shallow for some time before getting deep. The shops around are really good prices and perfect for souvenirs.

Seafood restaurant
Bar Restaurante El Cine is a charming port-side eatery located near the harbor in Los Cristianos. It offers stunning views of the beach and water, making it a popular stop for locals and tourists alike. The restaurant prides itself on serving traditional Canarian seafood dishes, such as octopus, sardines, cuttlefish, and chunky hake fillets with papas arrugadas (wrinkled potatoes).
Pretty different from all the other beachside restaurants — this place is a hidden gem. The menu has fewer than 8 dishes, which I see as a plus: they focus on less and do it all really well. The fish was excellent, and so were the tomatoes. We went early (around 6:30) because we had skipped lunch and didn’t have to wait in line — not sure what it’s like later. The staff and owner were super friendly, and they had a highchair for my 1-year-old, which was appreciated.
Nicole M — Google review
A gem in Tenerife! We've been coming to El Cine for three years, and the quality is just as high as the first time. If you love incredibly fresh fish and a simple, no-frills setting, this is the place. The menu is small, with about 10-12 items, but everything is done to perfection. We absolutely loved the fried octopus, fried squid, and grilled cuttlefish. The prices are excellent, and it all pairs perfectly with a cold beer or a glass of fresh white wine. We'll be back every time we visit Tenerife!
Francesca P — Google review
Really enjoyed the food here - Canarian Potatos, Hake, Swordfish and Octopus. Best seafood and canarian potatos we had in Tenerife and highly reccomend a visit. Mojo in bottles really nice touch also. It's a little stashed off with no view but the food is worth every second, also much less tourist visitors its seemed than other restaurants. Service was poor - uninterested and unhelpful. But wouldn't let that get in the way of visiting.

On a friend’s recommendation, we decided to try this restaurant — and we absolutely have to recommend it further! It’s very tucked away, with no advertisements, but totally worth finding! We waited about 20 minutes for a table, so I recommend making a reservation. The menu is short, but there’s something for everyone. Simple dishes, but excellent and fresh. We had the octopus and calamari. As a complimentary starter, they serve bread with butter and a spicy sauce. Our food arrived within about 15 minutes.
Natalia V — Google review
El Cine is one of those places you just have to go. The food is pure local goodness: super fresh fish, the best tomato salad, and papas with mojo that are seriously addictive. It’s always packed, but totally worth the wait. No fuss, just great food and that local vibe you can’t fake.
Gemma G — Google review
This little seafood spot is tucked away in a tiny alley, but it’s so worth finding! The menu isn’t huge, but everything is super fresh and cooked to perfection. We’ve been here lots of times already and will definitely keep coming back. Both the kids and adults in our family love it!
Yan Z — Google review
The must visit restaurant! Amazing experience! The was a big queue in front of us but it moved quick and we were quickly served.
Edita K — Google review
Returning to this restaurant year after year I have witnessed it progressing from a small eatery hidden on a side street and frequented mostly by locals into a larger site on the same spot with tourists queuing to get a table (no reservations, just walk-in). What has not changed is the simple seafood menu (and the must-have tomato and onion salad). Fortunately, the higher popularity of the place has not eroded the quality of the food or the speed at which it is served. Highly recommended for a simple but tasty fish dinner.

The American steakhouse Tony Roma's is known for its large portions of ribs, onion loaf and Romarita drinks. The food is fresh and cooked just how you like it, and the service is great. The restaurant is located outside in lovely weather, and the food arrived quickly for lunchtime hours.
really lovely food, service was quick and prices are really good! we got the grill combo for two which came too €53,90 which included 3 starters, 2 drinks, ribs, fries, beans, rice and chicken , which is a great price!

Abysmal. Genuinely one of the worst food experiences I have ever had. We sat down and ordered food & drinks like any other place. There weren’t many other people, and I only ordered fried chicken so I assumed it wouldn’t take that long. However, after a while, I noticed many other people who sat down after us were getting their food before us. We waited for a solid hour before finally getting our food. And it was horrible. Both the chicken and the fries were cold. The chicken had a disgusting gravy on top which made some parts of the breast just soggy and unpleasant to look at. The crunchy layer was so tough that I literally could not even bite through it. At some point, the entire crunchy layer fell off the breast itself. I could not finish my meal, I am ashamed I even took more than two bites, as the taste only got worse and worse. The fries were also cold, soft and soggy. I do not know how, but they were. I think the food was ready for already half an hour, but left on the counter and forgotten. I also ordered a coleslaw which never arrived, but I’m pretty sure was on the receipt. Honestly, do yourself a favour, go to any other fastfood restaurant, because this was disgusting.

Tony Roma’s at Siam Mall, Tenerife Tony Roma’s at Siam Mall offers a familiar American-style dining experience with a menu focused on ribs, burgers, and other classic comfort foods. The restaurant is spacious, clean, and has a casual, relaxed atmosphere – good for families or groups. The food was decent but nothing outstanding. Portions were generous, and the ribs were tender, but some dishes felt a bit overpriced for the quality. It’s more about quantity and familiarity than gourmet flavors. Service was okay – not especially fast or warm, but acceptable. Staff seemed busy and sometimes distracted, though the food arrived in a reasonable time. Overall, it’s a convenient spot if you’re in the mall and craving something hearty and American-style. Just don’t expect anything particularly special or memorable.
Yavuz F — Google review
Steak wrong twice, curt service, still fully charged I ordered a sirloin steak medium. with a pink center. • The first steak arrived almost fully cooked through (closer to medium-well). When I complained, the server rather curtly insisted this was “medium” here. Only after some back and forth did she reluctantly offer a replacement. • The replacement steak then came out in the same annoyed manner, but this time nearly raw, closer to rare than medium. She even asked me if it was okay, but it was clearly undercooked. • On both attempts, the crust was poor: soggy on the inside and yet charred on the outside. Later, when the restaurant was quieter and we asked for the bill, she asked again if everything had been okay. I politely said it wasn’t to my taste, but she surely noticed I remained dissatisfied and left hungry. Despite two failed attempts from the kitchen, the steak was still fully charged with no gesture of goodwill. In a steakhouse, cooking to the requested doneness should be a basic standard, here it failed twice. The sides and atmosphere were fine, but the steak itself, the main reason for coming, was a disappointment.

The staff was friendly and the service was good – no complaints there. The food was decent, well-prepared, but nothing particularly memorable or unique. It’s a good spot for a solid meal, but not somewhere I’d feel the need to visit again. Personally, I prefer places with a bit more character and flavor when it comes to good meat. Still, it wasn’t bad by any means.

Best Ribs I Have Ever Eaten! A warm welcome by Karen. Then, May looked after us superbly. The starters were hot and big portions with a good range of delicious dips. The marinara dip had a lovely twang. Main meals were even better than expected with the surf and turf steak cooked perfectly. The salmon was cooked beautifully. Surprisingly the broccoli was a delightfully flavourful edition, considering it is ‘only’ veg. Ribs - amazing, amazing, and amazing. Thank you to Daniela, May, and Karen for making our visit a great experience.

Ate here twice. Ribs were lovely. Second visit I ordered chicken fajitas. I didn't like them. Nothing wrong with them but anytime I had fajitas they were quite spicy, this was BLAND. Portion sizes are huge! Expect a siesta requirement after if you have a starter as well. We shared a texts sharing platter and neither were able to do much justice to the main course. They did seem a bit understaffed I would say.

Service was quick and helpful. Opted for chicken strips as a starter which were amazing. Soft but crunchy which is exactly how fried chicken should be. Very well seasoned too with their own sauce as a side. Had a burger with fries. Both were great other than the slightly overcooked bacon on the burger. They have a good selection of food. Would definitely return just for the chicken strips alone.

Reasonably priced & good value (roughly 15€ for burger & chips). Service solid, but very little interaction from some staff. Alex was very interactive & made an effort, which was appreciated. Had to come here to try the famous award winning burger! It was super busy and the staff were definitely stretched, drink took longer than the burger but the staff were very apologetic. For drinks we both ordered milkshakes, the presentation was spot on but I felt let down as it was essentially just flavoured milk, for the price I would of expected more of an ice cream thickness to it. For the burger my only criticism would be that it wasn't as large as the marketing makes it out to be, just an average sized burger. It was great, nice and tasty but honestly nothing special!

We visited Dedos in Playa de las Américas during our trip to Tenerife, and the experience was amazing! My wife and I arrived without a reservation, just before closing time, but Sofia—the shift manager—went out of her way to organize a table for us. Her hospitality and kindness made us feel so welcome. The waiter "Said" also gave us excellent service and helped us choose what to eat. Everything we ordered was delicious, and the whole vibe of the restaurant was great. I highly recommend this place if you're in Tenerife—but don’t forget to make a reservation in advance!

Food was awful. Was really excited about having our meal, menu looked fantastic. But the reality did not live up to the expectations. Chicken wings appalling, chicken tenders are bits of burnt crust. The woman said "yes they are burnt wings" and walked off. If I'm being generous it's probably the worst chicken wing and tenders I've ever had in my life. Damn, Should have gone to kfc

This was honestly the best burger I’ve ever had — perfectly cooked, juicy, and packed with flavor. Every bite was delicious and left me wanting more. To top it off, I tried the chocolate brownie, which was rich and absolutely satisfying. Both the food and overall experience were fantastic. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great meal. Sometimes the place is packed and a reservation is recommended.

Me and my partner came here one night after seeing how highly rated it was, but unfortunately for us it was full so had to book for the next night, which was fine! The service was amazing, all the staff are so friendly and welcoming, the food is just out of this world.. the burgers are amazing, we both thoroughly enjoyed them.. well worth the price! Only thing I would say is it’s a very busy place, so I recommend pre booking Thank you💙

Restaurant
Nestled in the charming fishing village of La Caleta, CHAR Fuego y Brasas is a delightful mid-priced steakhouse that offers an unforgettable dining experience. This restaurant specializes in expertly grilled meats and also features a selection of mouthwatering fish dishes, all served in a relaxed atmosphere that pays homage to the area's rich heritage. Guests rave about the incredible flavors found in their prawn starters and croquettes, while the steaks are described as meltingly tender and beautifully presented.
Had an amazing experience here while on holiday celebrating my boyfriend's birthday. The staff were very attentive but not overwhelming. The 4 of us shared a couple of the starters and each had steak (ribeye and fillet) for mains. The vegetable sides and peppercorn sauce were amazing. I had already heard about the 'matchstick' fries - extremely thin fries (see photos), which were good but I personally preferred the Canarian potatoes. Steaks were cooked to perfection and the ribeye already sliced before serving. A very enjoyable evening and worth every penny.
Ellie T — Google review
We came to Char based on the overwhelming positive reviews. I really wanted to love this place but I just can’t rate it higher based on my experience. The steak here was actually really good in terms of flavour, but the rest of the food it felt like they were missing something or it just didn’t feel like there was much value for money. The menu isn’t super clear on what size steak you’re getting or if it should be shared and honestly I’d avoid the larger steaks. We got the 1.2kg ribeye between three of us which came to €120 — so €40 each — and honestly it just didn’t feel worth it. The ribeye was extremely fatty, way more than I’ve had anywhere else, and you’re also paying for the big bone in it. It just didn’t feel like great value, especially when you could get a 250g fillet for €33. With that said however, the steaks flavour was really good. Cocktails were good but nothing mind-blowing, and at €14 or €15 each you kind of expect something a bit more special. Service was fine overall, staff were friendly, and helpful but it started off pretty slow and we were left waiting a bit. We also had a few side dishes and most were alright. The tomato with wagyu definitely isn’t worth it. It lacked flavour and you only get three slices. The thin fries are super thin, basically crisps, so I’d definitely recommend going for the chunky ones instead. All the sauce options though were actually really nice and full of flavour. The ambience was lovely. Really nice atmosphere. But I just left feeling quite unsatisfied with the meal. It has amazing potential and some interesting dishes, but it just didn’t come together for me or feel worth the price.

An absolutely outstanding dining experience. The food was exceptional, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. Special thanks to Jonathan and Emily, who guided us through the menu with kindness and professionalism. They made us feel genuinely welcome. The entire staff was incredibly attentive and took time to explain everything in detail. If you’re looking for a high-end place that delivers on both taste and service – this is it. We’ll definitely be back.

Amazing place! I tried several dishes, including the Kobe beef, tartare, truffle mushrooms, and a few others — everything was absolutely delicious. The service was really attentive and spot on. Not the cheapest place, but definitely an experience worth having!

First time we visited Char in their new location in Baobab Suites. Pretty and spacious interior. Both the food and the wine menu are impressive. Every single dish that comes out of the kitchen is excellent. 🥩 The crew is friendly, professional and beautiful. 😉 Small suggestion: ask for enough time between the courses, our main dish came really quickly. But no worries: we'll be back! 🥰

We visited you twice during our vacation because it was fantastic. Everything we ate was excellent. We had a great spot so we could watch our food being prepared. The somolier was able to recommend the perfect wine for us. Highly recommended!

Wow! Amazing food and the steaks were out of this world! So good we went back again before the end of our trip! The service was very attentive and friendly and we felt very welcomed. I couldn’t recommend highly enough!
Richard H — Google review
We went to Char last week and it was a good experience. Not mind blowing but just good. The style of the restaurant is very modern. It was relaxed to sit there. The food was good. We had the dry aged sirloin which is approx. 500 grams incl. Bone. The steak was tender, juicy and flavourful. However for a dry aged steak, I did not taste the signature dry age flavour unfortunately. Besides that the steak was almost perfect. The waiters are friendly and I have no complains here. For tenerife standards is Char on the more expensive side. Which I get by the look of the restaurants and the service the waiters provide. However considering the quality of the dishes I’d personally value it a tiny bit lower. It was not bad at all, it was very good. It was ALMOST great. And that is why I over value Char by a tiny bit.

Zoo
Outdoor Activities
Tenerife Zoo Monkey Park, often called the "biggest little zoo in the World," is a compact yet impactful breeding center for endangered primates. Located just a short drive from Los Cristianos and Playa de las Americas, this zoo offers walk-through cages where visitors can interact with and feed various animals such as iguanas, toucans, lemurs, squirrel monkeys, marmosets, and parrots.
Definitely worth a visit! It was a really great experience, and both children and adults were very happy. The highlight was getting so close to the monkeys and other animals, which made the visit unforgettable. We bought our tickets in advance, so we didn’t have to wait in the long queue and saved a lot of time. Inside the park, you can also buy food to feed the animals, which makes the experience even more fun. The park is clean, well organised, and not overcrowded, making it perfect for families. Just make sure to come early in the morning when the animals are more active and willing to eat
An N — Google review
An amazing place to visit. A great place for kids to see animals from so close and to feed animals. Need to Pay extra for animal feed- not allowed to bring your own. The zoo is not very big but very busy with visitors, despite everyone is moving, there is no ques to be waiting in. I would highly recomend to visit if near by.
Nerija R — Google review
One of the best small zoo’s I visited. It's perfect few hour hang out for families with children. Kids mainly enjoyed feeding guinea pigs and monkeys. I wish capybaras would be there as well!! That's the only downside! Prices are good and you can purchase food to feed animals for €3. I would advise to come at early morning before crowds of tourists come.
J B — Google review
Fun, cheap activity to do out. You can feed monkeys & guinea pigs as well as walk through avaries, lizard & lemur enclosures. Staff responded within less than 2 minutes to a guinea pig we thought needed assistance (it was fine!) This gave us further confidence for the care provided by the staff. You cannot enter the majority of the monkey enclosures understandably due to both animal & public safety. Feeding is done through bars for the monkeys which is of course not the most ethical for many. You can stay as long as you’d like and entry is €10, animal food is €3. If you pre-purchase tickets you can also skip the entry queue.
Poppy P — Google review
We had a lovely trip here today! Not crazy crowded and lovely animal conservation. Ticket prices have gone up since last year, but the quality of the park, the enclosures etc has also improved, so well worth the €10. would love to return.
Leonie P — Google review
We had this booked through tenerife best excursions which came with discounted tickets for the park (only €5pp). It's an amazing park with plenty of animals/birds to see and even feed! Food only costs €3 for a pot and you can feed as many guinea pigs as you could imagine. Very polite and friendly staff at the entrance as well as within the enclosures.
James H — Google review
I came here in a group of 3 - it was an amazing experience! There were so many different types of monkey and their enclosures seemed very large and spacious for them. In the photo, you can see the tyre swings and the other activities that they have to play with. At the end, there is a path through the zebra finch enclosure and it is amazing to walk through! You can see so many different animals throughout the experience, including boa constrictors, lizards, birds, crocodiles and of course the monkeys!
Rhiannon P — Google review
A lovely little animal park! You can walk among the guinea pigs and even feed them — kids absolutely love it. Great variety of animals: lemurs, titi monkeys, colorful birds… everything is clean and well cared for. Best time to visit: weekday afternoons between 2:30 and 4 PM — fewer people and a peaceful atmosphere. A wonderful experience for families!

Nature & Wildlife Areas
Jungle Park is a large wildlife park featuring suspension bridges, waterfalls, and animal shows. Visitors can spend the day observing big cats and monkeys, enjoying activities like a dry bobsleigh track and walking along a rope walkway in the trees. The park offers regular bird shows with birds of prey, macaws, talking parrots, and hornbills. Additionally, there's an opportunity for a sea lion encounter.
Can't recommend the zoo enough. We had an incredible day, seeing lots of beautiful animals. It was quite emotional to see the Orangutan (really wanted to free it and let it go live with its own kind.) We highly recommend going to the Bird of Prey show. It was incredible to see, and very informative. Our daughter had an amazing time going around the enclosures. The sea lion show was cancelled as they are doing up the area but it looks great. Nice and shady from the hot sun, and because it's higher up there's an amazing breeze to keep you cool. Refreshments area was limited. Toilets were immaculate. Taxis are available to get you back down which is ideal. Loved it.
Danielle J — Google review
All my life I've never been so close to wild animals in any zoo park visited. This one tops it all. We decided to come as a last minute decision so we arrived later in the afternoon and still had a good time before they closed. We missed most of the shows like the wild bird and seal events but still had an amazing time seeing all the animals up close. We are definitely coming back to enjoy all the shows we missed next time we are here.
J W — Google review
On holiday and visited here for a day trip. We used the free coach service that was easy to use and had a steady drive from the coach driver. The park itself was very good and had plenty of shade on the very warm day. The animals seem to be cared for well and the sea Lion show was brilliant. Unfortunately we did not get to see the BORNEAN ORANGUTAN 🦧 as the enclosure was all closed up? Definitely worth visiting
Steve B — Google review
One of the best zoos I have visited in a long time abroad. The staff keep the place so clean and the shows are well worth watching. The only thing I would say it the food is overpriced over €15 for a pizza and €21 for a burger is excessive and drinks are exactly the same but then it’s a captive audience and they get away with it. We bought our tickets from hotel and got the free bus there and back.
Angela G — Google review
This zoo is very ok. We liked the lemur walk through and the kids liked the jungle raid obstacle course. We arrived at opening time by taxi and were ready to leave well before the free bus left. We never felt rushed and visited some animals multiple times. Like all zoos and amusement parks, the food prices are high, but you can bring your own food and drinks. The animals were nice and some were very active, while others were sleeping. The park was clean. The animals looked well cared for. The bird of prey show was good. They were renovating the sea lion theatre, so no show, just an educational talk—it was interesting. The biggest complaint we had was the souvenir pictures. The kids wanted to just hold the birds, not necessarily get pictures. The photographer could be a little pushy about taking pictures. He took almost 12 pictures of our family and charged 10€ each. We only got a couple, but there should have been a deals to buy all of them. Their sister park—aqualand — had a digital deal for 40€. This would have been great.
Melisa G — Google review
Nice place when you arrive they lead you through to have your photos taken with a couple of birds. Then you come to a snack bar and at 12:30 the bird show begins they say it’s the best in the world that’s a big boast and although it was really good I have seen better. The sea lion show was very disappointing as they had the arena closed due to renovations and we were all crammed on a bridge barely able to see while the trainers did a routine with them in their very small enclosure. It was €16.95 for a burger and chips which was tasty. At the end you head to the exit and are met with your photos they had about 12 photos printed and you choose how many you want they cost €10 each 😮 but a few of them are the same shot taken at different angles so I just chose my favourite ones. A good day out
Samantha S — Google review
Good half day out with the kids. Lots of animals to see but not a huge amount. No flow to walking around meaning you miss out on parts and have to back track. Bob sleigh and jungle raid is fun. Sea lion show was impressive. Park wasn't busy at all. They absolutely rinse you for 10 euro per picture and lots of staff going around with a bird etc to get a picture. Be aware. The food and drink prices are absolutely ridiculously expensive. 31 euro for two slushies and two smoothies. 7 euro for a portion of chips. Way over priced.

X-Sur Centro Comercial is the second largest shopping center in Costa Adeje, offering a wide range of shops focusing on leisure, sports, and fashion. Visitors can also find a Mercadona supermarket and a large food court with diverse culinary options ranging from Asian takeaways to coffee bars. One of its highlights is the modern cinema featuring seven screening rooms. The atmosphere is charming, complemented by an array of restaurants catering to various tastes.
This place has everything you need under one roof, supermarket downstairs, there is a lift aswell if you need it. Also down on the lower floor is a very handy self serve laundry with different size washing machines and dryers, the machines come loaded with washing powder automatically dispensed, if you want to add your own power, softener or freshener pearls, you have to add it with your cloths. All the machines are easy to use from the control and payment machine, the dryer are the same. There are handy folding tables for your convenience and a few chairs if you wanted to sit and wait, otherwise you can browse the shops on the ground floor, you can grab something to eat or drink aswell as other outlets. On the upper floor is the cinema if you fancied that. There are two different car parks one ground level and a larger one underneath the complex were the laundry is, to reached the lower car park you have to drive round to the exit and its on your left. There is a McDonald's on the site aswell. When you exit the centre onto the main road if you fancy a burger king it's over the roundabout turning left, the food there is really tasty.

Tasty food and excellent service. Prices were decent. Would recommend 👌

I loved the food and the ambiance. The workers were very nice and friendly and the terrace was relaxing. I ordered a gyoza and bulgogi, both the dishes were delicious. Although i loved everything I’m not giving a over all 5 star because in my personal opinion, the prices of for example the gyozas is a little expensive for it be just 4 pieces.
Nira J — Google review
This place was nice and satisfied our hunger well. The food arrived quickly after we ordered it! The service was good. Because it is located in a shopping center, it was a bit loud, but that’s understandable. The staff were friendly and attentive. One point to note: the food we ordered was a bit sweet, but that may be because we usually eat spicier dishes. In summary: it’s a nice place with good food. ;)

Walked down from the hotel for a light lunch and it was delicious. Friendly staff and great atmosphere even on a lunch time. Dim sum tower for less then €17 pp with ribs, spring roll, dumplings, bao bun and gyoza all delicious and beautifully presented. Don’t miss out on this gem.

Me and my partner came here for our first meal in Tenerife which we both thought was really good. The bubble teas can be made with vegan milk which is what I did since I'm lactose intolerant. There are lots of options here and all the food we had was great particularly the dumplings. My partner got the duck ramen while I got vegetarian dumplings with tofu bao buns. The staff here were also very friendly and the seating they have on the balcony has a nice atmosphere.
Lucy-Ella J — Google review
The food was okay, not great but good for the price. The bao buns teriyaki sauce was pretty sweet for both the chicken and vegan version which was kind of disappointing, but that's a matter of preference I think. The vegetarian dumplings were fried even though they were advertised as steamed, therefore I was a bit disappointed when they arrived like this (i love steamed dumplings so I was looking forward to them). The desserts were very very sweet and heavy, a bit too much for us but I bet children would definitely love it! Our server was great, very forthcoming so we left a tip :) It's a good spot for vegetarians as they have many options. The outside seating area is huge and very nice to enjoy the evening. Would come here again, but wouldn't recommend the place specifically
Emily — Google review
Nice to see more casual dining here. This is part of the Venture group of restaurants so you know what to expect. Katsu curry was nice, just a shame they poured the sauce over the chicken so not so crispy. A big plate of food, comforting and moreish. We will certainly go back. It's good what they've done to the outside area, the whole place has more appeal.

Fine dining restaurant
Restaurante El Rincón de Juan Carlos, situated in the picturesque fishing village of La Caleta in Tenerife, is a contemporary dining destination known for its innovative local cuisine. This family-run restaurant, owned by brothers Juan Carlos and Jonathon Padron, has played a pivotal role in shaping the modern Canarian food scene.
El Rincón de Juan Carlos is a two-Michelin-star restaurant that promises a degustation journey like no other. Almost everything on the menu delivered exceptional flavors and creativity, with a couple of exceptions. The highlight of the experience was undoubtedly the blue lobster dish and the dessert course, which were nothing short of spectacular. The attention to flavor combinations and the precision in execution were truly Michelin star worthy. However, one dish the elvers carbonara fell short, feeling out of place in an otherwise meticulously curated lineup. Additionally, while the sauces were undeniably luxurious, the consistent use of heavy, creamy textures across seafood dishes felt overwhelming. A touch of lightness or acidity could have brought better balance to the menu. Service, as expected from a restaurant of this caliber, was exceptional, with an acute attention to detail. However, a few minor lapses detracted slightly from the seamless experience. For example, a server’s sleeve brushed the bread while reaching for plates, and there was a moment of miscommunication when we were offered dessert wine despite explicitly being a non-alcoholic table. These are small details, but in a restaurant of this level, they stand out. Overall, El Rincón de Juan Carlos offers a bold and mostly successful culinary journey that reflects the chef’s fearless creativity and passion. While there are minor points for refinement, the experience is unquestionably memorable and deserving of its Michelin accolades. For those seeking innovation and indulgence, this is a destination worth exploring.

An exceptional experience at El Rincón in Tenerife! Everything was perfect — the service, the atmosphere, and above all, the food. Congratulations to the two brothers for their incredible talent and passion, which truly shine through in every dish. A big thank you to the whole team for their kindness and for adapting the menu for my wife — such a thoughtful gesture. If you’re staying in Tenerife, don’t miss this unique gastronomic experience. We look forward to coming back

A very special meal and experience. The restaurant is situated on the fifth floor of a hotel (you walk past a bar with a stunning view too as you enter). Set menu and you can choose wine pairing(s) and/or drinks, service was very knowledgeable about each dish and perfectly attentive. Each dish is presented differently but all are outstanding - they give you three different types of butter (one pistachio one local and one regular) if you choose bread, for example, to show the level of attention. Our set menu had a lot of seafood all of which was stunning (I think there was one lamb dish), it may seem expensive but for this quality of effort and presentation it honestly was a special experience.

I can only confirm all other reviews: a truly amazing experience: great view and a warm and friendly staff. And the menu: lots of small dishes, all refined and with great taste. Truly a 2 star restaurant !

The most amazing culinary experience we've ever had in Tenerife. With a spectacular view on the bay of La Caleta, hosts Maria-José, Raquel and their crew know how to spoil their guests. Every course coming from the kitchen is an explosion of taste in your mouth and the wine pairing only went crescendo. The 'Arbol dulce' in the end was unlike anything I've had ever seen in a restaurant. Michelin is absolutely right, this place 'vaut le voyage'. Even from Belgium to Tenerife.
Wim L — Google review
Great atmosphere, great service. Everyone is very attentive and you can enjoy your evening to the fullest. Food was good too. In the end we got cute little tree with deserts, complimentary, and it made our dining even more pleasant. Wine pairing needs to be improved, i think. We were able to book a table for two for the same evening, but it seemed to be full, so probably reservation needed.

I have eaten in many Michelin and fine dining restaurants in the past, but the experience I had last night was on another level. The front of house staff were extremely helpful, friendly, and professional, which made our experience even more special. The food was beyond amazing!! The flavour combinations, textures, visualisation and wine flight was mind blowing. Bravo to chef and his team.. they have put their heart and soul into each and every course served. If you are considering visiting, i wholeheartedly recommend that you do.. you will not be disappointed!! As the menu consists of 17 tasting courses.. please allow over 3 and a half hours. Roy's Pizza & Indian Tandoori is a popular pizza and Indian restaurant in a pastel-tinted room with murals of Indian designs, opening onto a terrace. The restaurant offers both fine Indian cuisine and American-style pizzas, making it perfect for everyone. If you're looking for delicious food at an affordable price, Roy's is definitely worth a visit!
Had an amazing Indian meal outside of N.W. London—fantastic flavours! Our server, Sofia, was brilliant. She gave excellent recommendations, ensuring we didn’t over-order. The portion sizes were generous, which is refreshing given how many places are cutting back these days. The lamb meat was nice and tender, not some cheap cuts. Will definitely be back! We also ordered takeaway pizzas at lunchtime, which was also good. The pepperoni one could have had more pepperoni lacked topping.

Went here for food on our last night of holidays. The only complaint is that I didn’t know about this places sooner! The best Indian food I have had. Great value for money. I can’t fault this place. Staff was friendly, welcoming and couldn’t do enough for you.

This restaurant is an absolute must place to go if you are in Tenerife. It offers a range of pizzas or toppings you can choose from and different bases, to the most superb Indian food. The pizza is amazing and full of flavour, and the Indian is the best I’ve ever had, along with the most amazing desserts. The service here is something else, our wonderful waiter, Sergio, looked after us each night we were there, remembering our drink order and making us feel more than welcome. The service and the food is by far the best we experienced in our 2 week stay in Tenerife, no where else we dined even came into line with Roys. The restaurant itself is lovely and has beautiful Indian styled paintings and decor. My family and I came to Roys 4 times within our stay, we hope to come back soon!

Many thanks to this place! The wonderful waitress Sofia was welcoming and kind. The food is 10 out of 10 — delicious, generous, and just what you need to start the day! A must-visit spot in Tenerife!

After being recommended to eat here by a friend. We called in. Really looking forward to a nice curry. We got there and was told pizza only at 6pm even though they’re open from 1pm. €28 for a large chicken and pepperoni pizza and two small bottles of pop. The pizza base had spent more time in the freezer than the oven, if it had seen an oven at all. Base was cold and hard, 💯 frozen margarita base, topping was hot like it had been put under a grill for 2mins. For a place that’s not got a lot of though fare you think they’d make an effort. I believe the curry’s are good can’t comment on that. Avoid the pizza at all Cost. Don’t think the lady that served us enjoyed being there either it was like she proper hated her job. A smile wouldn’t have gone a miss.

Wow, what an experience! If you’ve ever wondered what oily rice and tough meat taste like, the biryani here has you covered. The papadom? Probably a vintage piece — I’m guessing it’s been aged for about three months for that extra crunch of regret. The food somehow managed to be both bland and overly salty at the same time — quite the achievement. Service was impressively slow for a place that was nearly empty. Small portions, big disappointment. Definitely not worth the price, unless you’re paying for the lesson never to come back.

Looking at the photos I really wanted to try this place out as the food looked very colorful and nice. I ordered a Pizza and my wife an Indian dish. The Pizza was far from what I expected (still good though). The bread was a bit soggy. The Indian dish didn’t come with rice and you had to order separately, and that’s not how Indian dish works. They made a mistake with the salad, but to be fair they didn’t charge or argue with me when I noted that. The Indian dish itself was good, but instead of being spicy it was rather sweet. We had Samosa as a starter and I liked that quite a lot. The crisp was perfect. All in all an average/good restaurant.

Absalutely amazing food! One of the best resturants I have ever been to in Tenerife. I will be back. Had the goat cheese and jamón salad, chateaubriand, and brownie icecream and profitrol.

The food, without both appetisers and dinner was absolutely amazing! Highly recommend the roasted duck. Service was delightful! If we return to Tenerife we will be sure to go again!

This was not the first time, unfortunately the second time we did reserve, but they have attributed the worst table in the entry, not only we had the passage but also the noise from the buffet. The table was not set when we sat down, we ordered bread, which was not fully cooked, like rubber, we had a steak tartar, which was not served with toast or butter and my request for worcestershire sauce was not understood. The service was unacceptable, maybe they just accepted too many guests for their capabilities. Sorry the previous lunch was good.
