Water park
Water & Amusement Parks
Theme Parks
Siam Park is an outdoor water park with a Thai theme, offering thrilling slides for adventure seekers and family-friendly attractions. Visitors can experience the adrenaline rush of a 28-meter vertical drop slide and artificial wave pools, while children can enjoy the dedicated play area and entertaining sea lion shows. The park also features a dolphinarium and areas for relaxation, including lazy rivers. Additionally, animal lovers can explore Jungle Park to witness captivating bird shows and observe jaguars and pumas.
Best in the word. I do recomand buying a VIP pass. A bit expensive but if you are a fan of parks like that is really worthy. The queues for each ride were infernal. We end up going 4 or 5 times on one slide while other people were advancing only 5 steps. The same for all of them except for one water slide which doesn’t have a fast pass but is still worth it at least once. Definitely you will need some water shoes but they do sell it there at around 11 euros. You can take a locker aswell for your belongings. Be there before they open, make sure you don’t miss anything.
Iulia J — Google review
Amazing water park! We went on a Tuesday mid October and it was busier than expected. We arrived at around 9.15 am and went straight into the park, we had pre-booked VIP which was so worth it. You are handed a towel and a wristband, then we headed straight for the lockers (which was a good idea as by 10:30 there was already a queue). After leaving our things in the locker, we waited for tower of power (rides open at 10am) and were first on the slide. After the is, we spent the morning going around the park with little to no queue in the fast pass lane. During the afternoon, we had to queue 5-10 mins for rides, even with fast pass, but the normal lanes were queuing for 30 mins - 1 hour so it was really worth it. The food is pretty basic (hot dogs, fries etc.) but as it was included with VIP we stopped for lunch around 1pm. In the buffet restaurant there is more choice and you can take as much as you want with the fast pass ticket. Prices for food were fairly reasonable though and you could buy a meal with a drink for 10-15€. From 1-4 seemed to be the busiest time in the park, with queues of 10-15 minutes even with fast pass. But after 4pm all the single use fast pass tickets seemed to have finished and we basically had free rein on any slide and were able to go around multiple times with no queue. Not sure how many VIP tickets they sell per day, but if you don’t want to spend your day in a queue it’s well worth the money. You don’t necessarily need water shoes - just bring an old pair of flip flops and leave them at the bottom of rides but with water shoes you’d definitely be more comfortable. The free park bus was completely full, but it’s just a 5 minute walk to the public bus which will take you back to los cristianos or las americas for less than €2.
Izzy — Google review
Love Siam Park, such a great day out, so much fun. We were there at the beginning of November, it was still busy but no long waits for the rides conpared to previous years being there. Various locker rooms available to keep your belongings.
Michelle J — Google review
Absolutely, 100% worth a visit, definitely worth the money! You won't be disappointed. If you don't mind queuing for rides (for a while), I highly recommend VIP fastrack or the all-inclusive package (which includes locker, towels and food and drinks) Definitely take beach shoes as the concrete is ruffled in some areas and can be quite painful underfoot, let alone hot in summer months. Lots wore flip flops or crocks and put them on their wrist during rides. A lot of the queue waiting lines are shaded with trees, so not too much time standing around in the sun. Every ride is worth the wait. There's also a free bus from a few local areas. I'd recommend booking online (blue light discount through some websites!) you can buy tickets at the gate but they sell out for fastrack quite fast! You won't be disappointed, worth every penny. We absolutely loved this place and will most certainly be back 🫶
Angharad D — Google review
Brilliant! You must go. Best waterpark I've ever visited. The park and its water were so clean and well maintained. The design of it all is beautiful. It's tranquil and shaded but also plenty of spots to appreciate the sun. The flooring is designed perfectly for wandering around barefoot. The food isn't a rip off as I expected - very reasonably priced and actually very good. The music is great. The staff all looked so smart and there are plenty of lifeguards. It feels safe. The rides themselves are really incredible. Creative, fun, a range of thrill levels, and each had their own uniqueness so yous don't just feel like you've gone on 10 big slides. We went on a Tuesday in September and pretty much didn't queue for anything all day, bar 3 of the biggest rides. The most we queued for was 20 mins. We hired a locker for the day for €7 and you can come back to it as often as you like. (It's so nice to be without your phone for a day.) We went to the taxi rank outside to get back to our villa and even though there was a huge queue it didn't take long at all to go down. Loads of taxis coming through. Can't recommend it enough. I'll definitely be going back.
Rachel — Google review
Siam park was one of the highlights of our holiday. The rides are really good fun for all the family. There's something for all ages. Go on a Sunday as the queues are far shorter than any other day of the week. Get there as early as you can. Go straight to the beach area and grab your sunbeds. Water shoes help but aren't necessary. The tower of power is fast but not as scary as you may think. Go left on the lazy river. Enjoy. It's worth every penny.
Lee D — Google review
Awesome slides, all round goatendo switch experience. We went on a Friday in the middle of October and most of the slides had between a 5 and 20 minute wait except for the Tower of Power which was about an hour. All the staff were very helpful and enthusiastic, drinks were great and cheap, food was decent and not too expensive. We bought our tickets on the day and it was still not too busy, probably a good idea to get there just before opening time so you don't have to queue
Callum J — Google review
We visited Siam Park on a cloudy day with a bit of light rain, and it ended up being the best possible choice. We were worried at first, but the park was almost empty. We waited maybe two or three minutes for each ride (without express pass), and managed to go on everything multiple times. Visiting on a cloudy day is honestly the way to go, especially considering how expensive the express pass normally is. We left everything in a locker and walked around in just swimwear and flip-flops. No towel needed, you dry instantly since the park is outdoors. The rides were super fun, the lifeguards were friendly, and everything felt safe and easy. Overall, we had an amazing time and can definitely recommend Siam Park.

Outdoor Activities
Playa del Duque is a bustling beach area perfect for swimming and sunbathing, offering a resort-like atmosphere with its abundance of high-end accommodations. The beach features striped beach huts, loungers, and parasols against a backdrop of rugged cliffs, turquoise waters, and palm trees.
The beach is nice but sometimes are big waves, not suitable for families with small children, the sand is nice,2 sunbeds and an umbrella are 19.5E or you can take only 1 sunbed(6E),
Alin S — Google review
Very nice and clean beach with big waves and scenic views. There is a beautiful promenade to walk, with good restaurants and small local shops! Convenient parking underground. Small shopping mall. Beach has nice sand. Depending on weather waves can be very big. Good location for photoshoot
Maria L — Google review
We’ve been all around Tenerife and this is definitely our favourite beach. Plenty of space and seating available, 2 sun beds under the umbrella for €19,95 (and a 3rd for 6€ more). It gets relatively busy so good to get there earlier (10am) if you want a seat, if not there is plenty of space to set up on the sand. The beach is clean and the water is great, if you want to buy something from the beach sellers it’s good to have some cash.
Chris C — Google review
A beautiful beach, somewhat commercial, and often crowded with tourists. However, the beach itself has light sand and is clean. There's a shower at the light beach connecting to the dark beach, and free toilets are also available near the bar. The ocean was warm here, so we recommend it!
Maja W — Google review
Free beach with turquoise water. Yellow sand, black sand - everything that you would desire. It is possible to rent an umbrella for a fee or buy one on the spot. Great experience.
Nataliia K — Google review
One of my favorite beaches, golden sand, good entrance to the water, no big wave, there is a shower. If you dive, you can find all kinds of different fish at breakwaters!
Alex A — Google review
The beach was quite clean and spacious (October 2025). The sand is black and volcanic. There is a beautiful promenade above where you can walk, with restaurants and small shops. There were showers and toilets, but not everywhere.
Serena O — Google review
One of the best beaches we saw in Tenerife. Great water, sandy beach, palms all around.

Water park
Water & Amusement Parks
Aqualand Costa Adeje is an open-air water park complex located in the lively Costa Adeje area of Tenerife. The park features a variety of thrilling slides and tube rides, as well as kids' pools and a dolphinarium where visitors can enjoy dolphin shows. Aqualand offers a perfect mix of adrenaline-pumping adventures and leisurely water-based attractions, catering to families and water enthusiasts of all ages.
It was a great choice for our 8- and 10-year-old girls. It wasn’t crowded at all, even though we visited during the Easter school holiday week in April. The water was a bit colder than we expected, but the sunshine helped a lot. The slides were really good, and we really liked the photo system — professional photographers take pictures of you throughout the park, and you can later view or buy them, including a nice group/family photo. The dolphin show was actually better than the one at Loro Park. It was longer, and they also explained everything in English. Some kids from the audience could even join the show in a very safe and fun way.
Andras L — Google review
Aqualand Costa Adeje is simply amazing! The dolphins are incredible to watch, and the slides are extremely thrilling – perfect for adrenaline lovers. The park is spotless, well-maintained, and very modern, making it a fantastic day out for the whole family. Highly recommended!
Gregor — Google review
Great experience highly recommend! I had a 5 years and a 2 year old and we stayed in the kids area which was perfect for them. WARNING to all parents! Do not go down the slides in the toddler and kid section, it is not designed for adults! I witnessed many people including my wife hurt them selves at after completing the slide!!!! Should probably have a warning or something in place! Apart from that it was amazing!
The S — Google review
We visited with two 11-year-olds and one 12-year-old and had a lot of fun! We really liked that there were no long waiting lines, and the dolphin show was great too. The only downside was that the slides closed before 4:30 p.m. — we would have appreciated being able to stay in the park until 5 p.m. As soon as the dolphin show ended, they started closing everything down.
Mojca G — Google review
Big Q at the entrance but it went fast. Lockers are paying be. We were there with 2 kids, 10y and 13y and it were really fun. What we didn't like were the big Q on rides and security who didn't tell us that our kids were not tall enough for the ride, so we waited 40 min on Q for nothing. And we are not the only one, he did that to others as well. It's good that you can get out and back in to park. Delphine show is AMAZING, definitely don't miss out.
Marina Z — Google review
I really rate this park, it has some decent rides and they allow you to take your own food along unlike other places which is handy. Good selection of rides with minimal queuing. Kids areas were cool and kept the little ones entertained for hours
Darren F — Google review
Very good diversity of rides for all ages. Only one option of food, fast food-3 bags of medium chips 27 euros !!
Catia A — Google review
Great day out and the highlight was the dolphin show. Amazing how well trained they are. I couldn't believe people getting up and leaving during it was very disrespectful and distracting.. otherwise what a show. Kids loved the slides for 5 years old. I would advise bring food to it as its expensive.

Shopping
Centro Comercial Plaza del Duque is a luxurious shopping center located in the south of Tenerife, Canary Islands. Its innovative and avant-garde architecture offers a unique shopping experience. The circular complex features clothing and accessory outlets, as well as cafes and restaurants just steps away from the beach. With leading luxury brands like Hackett, Boss, and Desigual, it's a premier destination for designer goods.
Nice place to shop, large selection of fashion, cosmetics and jewelry, we recommend!
Natasha K — Google review
As someone who has had the privilege of maintaining an office in Centro Comercial Plaza del Duque, I am delighted to share my five-star experience with this exceptional shopping center. From the outset, Plaza del Duque impresses with its serene ambiance, distinguished by clean, well-maintained stores that exude an air of sophistication. The shopping center, though often tranquil, is a harmonious blend of elegance and comfort, making it an ideal place for both work and leisure. What truly sets Plaza del Duque apart is its remarkable staff, which includes everyone from the security team to the garage staff, and the cleaning crew. They're not just friendly; they create a warm atmosphere that makes everyone feel welcome. Their caring approach is evident in the way they interact with each visitor, contributing to a positive experience for all. Additionally, the management team deserves praise for their efforts to keep the center lively. They consistently organize special events, appearances, and festive decorations, even during quieter periods, adding a special touch to the shopping center's appeal. Admittedly, the layout of Plaza del Duque can be a tad confusing for newcomers, with some visitors often needing guidance to find their way. However, for regulars like myself, this intricate design is part of its charm. It's like navigating a small, enchanting circle filled with exquisite stores and highly professional staff, where shoppers can relish in personal attention and an upscale shopping experience. As for myself, spending nearly every day here, I couldn't envision a better place to work. The congenial community, top-quality stores, and the central point on the ground floor – a perfect spot for a leisurely lunch or coffee – all contribute to making Centro Comercial Plaza del Duque not just a shopping center, but a lifestyle hub where quality, comfort, and camaraderie coalesce. To anyone who values a refined shopping and working environment, I wholeheartedly recommend Centro Comercial Plaza del Duque. It's more than just a shopping center; it's a vibrant community and a delightful part of my daily life.

Lovely mall, very clean and good shops. We parked here for the local Fañabe market, we arrived for 9am so plenty of spaces but was very busy when we left about 11.30am/12pm.
Elleney T — Google review
High end retailers, nice for some window shopping out of the sun, but lots of empty units....visited on lunch time, market day, 200m away, and we saw 8 other "shoppers"....you dont see many €60,000 watches where we live, so that gave our 5 minute wander something to remember at least
Chris ( — Google review
great place to shop before flying home...well stocked upscale clothing stores...if you fancy buying niche perfumes from your travels then just Niche Corner located at the very bottom of this mall...well versed in their really tastefully sophisticated scents from around the world ... the owner is very nice and knows what to match to each customer ... I really enjoyed talking with him about the world of fragrances ... I left satisfied ... also an interesting cigar shop ... also the owner knows what sells despite his young age ... these are two really interesting places in this Mall ... I recommend
Robert S — Google review
We had a lovely coffee and ice cream here at this luxurious shopping centre which surprisingly was not expensive. It was a long walk to get here but well worth the effort as some of my favourite brands are here. There are very few people here and most of the shops were empty but it was a nice way to spend an hour or so. There are plenty of rides for younger children to keep them entertained.
James J — Google review
I really loved it. A nice selection of quality shops. This place feels premium and luxurious.

Aqua Club Termal is a renowned spa located in the southern area of Tenerife, specifically in the coastal town of Adeje. It boasts an expansive area covering 1000 square meters of thermal waters at a comfortable 34 degrees Celsius and 800 square meters dedicated to various facilities such as gyms, massage rooms, and other amenities. The VIP thermal circuit offered by Aqua Club Termal spans over 2.
Couples massage package €120 great vaule. Herbal tea and complimentary bites. Massage was excellent. Facilities were all working well. Sauna steamroom cold plunge pool. Well worth a visit 40€ for just entry if not interested in a message package.
JR J — Google review
We booked this via “Get Your Guide” which was way cheaper than the prices on the website. It was a very good experience but three hours maximum is about all we could do. Sauna, Turkish Steam Room, a variety of showers, plunge pool, hot jacuzzi’s, various bubble/jet areas and water showers for massaging the body and a small “lazy river” type thing. Also a warm salt water pool. Need to take your own towel (into the spa area as have to use it in the sauna) if you don’t book direct. Clean facilities, well looked after. Entry and lockers operated by a wristband you are given on arrival. Beds/chairs around the edge of the pool to relax and a relaxation room. We didn’t use the gym and wasn’t sure we could if we wanted to. Little cafe in the entrance for when you come out thirsty and hungry! I would recommend a visit if you fancy something relaxing to do.
Lorna R — Google review
All of the individual parts of the spa were lovely. The jacuzzi, the jets and the salt pool were particular highlights. Advertised well as individual elements. The whole spa is in need of a bit of a revamp - the walls are just bare breeze blocks so give it a leisure centre vibe rather than a luxury spa (as it markets itself). Same with the changing rooms. A few things made this not the perfect relaxing visit we hoped for but all could be improved in the future. We got the VIP day for two for €100 between us - the difference being we got a Balinese bed and some food. The bed was just the same as the others in the corner of the relaxing areas with a canopy overhead - it was reserved for us which was nice but nothing amazing here. The food was a joke really for the price - 10 potatoes between us and as we weren’t drinking opted for juice and it was a child’s carton of synthetic juice. Also the website says children 10am-12pm only but children were in the pool the whole time we were there 12pm - 2:30pm. There was also a man in his underwear rather than swim shorts which was obviously really unpleasant.
Charlotte T — Google review
I highly recommend this spa and would definitely be a member if I lived in Tenerife. My wife and I were visiting and we enjoyed our experience there so much that we returned a few days later despite only visiting Tenerife for just under a week! The spa is very well maintained and boasts an excellent mix of treatments, facilities and services to cater to your every need. All the staff that we interacted with were extremely pleasant and kind - the attention to customer service and experience was definitely one of the highlights. Besides the spa package I also opted for a massage, specifically the intense massage. Without a doubt that was one of the best massages I've ever had. I would highly recommend that you ask for Vera if she is available - she worked wonders on my back! On our first visit I had a 30 minute massage which I enjoyed so much that on our second visit I chose to have an hour long massage. That should tell you what you need to know about what a great experience it was! All in all, we left the spa extremely relaxed and satisfied with our experience there along with all the lovely people that attended to us so well. Needless to say, we'll be back at Aqua whenever we visit Tenerife next!
Arjun S — Google review
I always use the spa's in 5 star hotels and I had the best massage of my life here! All the staff were so nice ESPECIALLY Josue at reception. He was so kind and informative. There was nothing he could not do for us. He definitely made the experience even better, he looked after us so well. I would recommend this spa to everyone 10/10

Fantastic Spa, would definitely recommend 👌 Visited here for a girlie day celebrating my birthday and it was awesome! Staff were super friendly & couldn't have been more helpful. Facilities were lovely and 2 hours was just the right amount of time. Also visited the hair salon while there and even that was 5*****. Will definitely visit again on my next holiday to Tenerife!
Kerry S — Google review
We arrived on July 23, 2025. We received a very warm welcome at the reception desk. Friendly staff provided excellent explanations to make things as easy as possible for us. When we arrived at the spa, a man was waiting to take us to our VIP bed and explain everything clearly. The best part was the massage. Two young women pampered us so well that we'll be back soon for some relaxation. I have a lot of back pain due to osteoarthritis, and my masseuse was finally able to relieve the pain for a while. I loved it. Thank you. We'll definitely be back.
Emmanuel L — Google review
Really nice spa. I thought the spa facilities are really great and I had an enjoyable massage. Also the cafe there is very good quality. My only issue would be I advise not to upgrade to a private room. The private room was cold with hard straight back chairs so wasn't comfortable or relaxing. The free chairs around the pool are soft and deck chair types. You don't need to pay for a cold private room with hard chairs.

Puerto Colón, located in the heart of the Zec zone for the conservation of cetaceans, is a prime departure point for sea excursions. These trips offer opportunities to witness an array of marine life, including up to 29 species of cetaceans, 4 types of sea turtles, and 11 varieties of seabirds against the stunning backdrop of El Teide. For those seeking adventure on the water, jet skiing is a popular activity here.
very busy when we visited but plenty of bars restaurants and shops to visit. the beach is very accessible for people with disabilities one small downside was you do get hassled by street vendors trying to sell you tat .

It has the potential to be a fantastic marina but this gets lost in all the places trying to grab your Euros. It's not a sit outside a cafe or bar and watch the world go by place. It's literally somewhere to board your boat trip

This is a picturesque port, though it presents some topographical challenges with its hilly terrain and numerous steps. Accessibility to the lower bar areas may be difficult for individuals with mobility impairments. We observed a significant number of mobility scooters in use, which appears to be a practical solution. These are available for rent at a rate of €70 per week.

We visited early in the morning hoping to catch the seals but we were too late. We did see some amazing sea life though. Then we enjoyed walking around the port taking in the amazing views, and admiring the many boats. Just outside the ports there's lots of restaurants, bars and much more.

Love it here, beautiful beach with a massive amount of bars and restaurants to cater for everyone's taste. There is an inflatable activity park in the bay. Lots of trips and excursions available from the harbour and a lovely walk along the breakwater to see the lovely sunsets.

Went out on Pilot whale watching on a charter for 10 people. We kept a careful distance from a pod of whales but the catamarans were much closer, not a good thing I think. After that we an hoped in a bay with crystal water and were able to swim off the boat. The trip lasted 3 hours and cost 50 € each. Well worth it. Best chance were told is the morning 10-1. We worth it.

Playa de las Américas is a vibrant coastal resort district known for its lively nightclubs and beautiful sandy beaches offering various water sports. For those interested in exploring the culinary history of the Canary Islands, a visit to a restaurant at the luxury Villa Cortes hotel is a must. The renowned chef Diego Schattenhofer creates dishes that reflect the local cuisine, using ingredients sourced from specific locations on the island.
Lovely beach and surrounding areas, lots of shopping malls, some of which are underground, it can get busy with tourists and locals likewise when it’s a hot as everyone flocks to the beach. It’s pretty much catering for the English speaking traveller as lots of food places have familiar restaurants like Indian, Chinese, Italian as well as Spanish food, vegetarian isn’t catered for that well so it’s better to cook for yourself if you are vegetarian as fresh vegetables are in abundance.

Playa de Las Américas in Tenerife is the perfect spot for sun, fun, and relaxation! The beaches are beautiful with black sand and clear water, great for swimming or just chilling out. There’s a lively vibe with plenty of bars, restaurants, and shops all around. It’s super tourist-friendly and always full of energy. Whether you’re into beach days or nightlife, this place has it all. A great holiday destination you’ll want to come back to!

Nice for for a walk with plenty of shops nearby. We didn't go on the beach as not into it personally. There were surfers near by in the wavy bits of the sea. Great opportunities to see and take pictures of a sunset. I took some near the surfing area

I wish that it wasn't destroyed by infinite amounts of irrelevant souvenir shops and average restaurants. In the night it looked better but it's a dirty beach and boardwalk.

Playa de las Américas Review Playa de las Américas feels like a second home, with an inviting atmosphere and a vibrant surf scene. The beach offers amazing waves for both beginners and advanced surfers, making it a perfect spot for all skill levels. With beautiful people all around, the fun continues off the beach at the numerous bars and restaurants featuring live music. Having visited three times in two years, I can confidently say it’s a fantastic destination for surf, sun, and good times!

Aqualand is a popular water park located near various local attractions and transportation options. Visitors can enjoy thrilling slides, dolphin shows, and relaxing pools. While some reviewers mention the need for maintenance and better information about the games, many still recommend visiting this fun place. Families with young children can spend a full day here without any safety concerns, although some areas may look worn out and in need of renovation.
Amazing Park great for kids.

Price to enter is okay. Sun loungers are €2 each and lockers are €5. Food is expensive but convenient. Its a business, they are there to make money. Plenty of reviews complaining about this place. However my family including young children managed to spend the full day there without being injured. Quite the opposite we had plenty of fun. Realistically the park could do with some renovation as it looks a bit old. Some of the slides look very 'worn in'. We went in October which is off season and didnt have to wait for a single ride all day. That's always a bonus. The dolphin show was great. Absolute must do if you attend Aqualand. One thing that is a must is good footwear. Wet shoes would be best. In my intimate wisdom I decided to go barefoot. Which in the midday heat is like walking on coals. The floor is not the greatest anyway but being baked does it no favours. All in all its a good day. It was 5 min walk from where we stayed and the price was good as we got a twin ticket for Jungle Park.

Very nice beach with a lighter colour sand than others nearby. The area is very nice to get lunch and dinner. I would definitely return to this area on another visit in the future. It seems to be less party orientated and more suited to couples and families.

Golf Las Américas is a picturesque 18-hole golf course located in the heart of Playa de Las Américas, Tenerife. Designed by John Jacobs, this championship course spans 6,051 meters and features lakes, rivers, and ravines throughout. Known for its excellent maintenance standards, it has hosted prestigious national and international tournaments such as The Spanish Ladies Open.
Lovely little course, relatively open, decent collection of hire clubs, golf carts have course maps in them. Very friendly staff. Golf course is well maintained. Make sure you bring change for the range.

Great course and service. Fairways and greens in excellent condition. Clubhouse great place for food and a beer afterwards.
Karl W — Google review
Interesting course surrounded by an enclosing wall near centre of Las Americas. Impressive club house with a long balcony and views of both first and eighteenth holes. All staff encountered were a credit to their employers. All holes have been well thought out with cleverly positioned hazards. There are plenty of green keepers maintaining the course and surrounding landscape. The greens all require a good degree of reading with many little borrows and the dreaded nap to contend with. The main criticism relates to the condition of the greens themselves. It may have been as a result of planned maintenance but I feel that they do require to be rolled to improve performance. Also, and I’m sure it’s a curse for all course managers, players not repairing pitch marks! My partners and I were constantly repairing marks while waiting to putt. Enjoyable day out with a blest rest bite from the Tenerife wind.
Graeme R — Google review
Great course, splendid clubhouse and alright food. Was a shame there was no buggy bar going round with only an average vending machine at halfway to quench your thirst. The course was in great condition and asked plenty of questions for all level of golfer. Would recommend playing it if in the area.

The Royal Delfín Catamarán offers an exciting excursion for whale and dolphin spotting in Tenerife. Departing from Puerto Colon, the large catamaran is equipped with experienced guides who provide insights into local marine life and conservation efforts. With two underwater sections, visitors can observe 19 different cetacean species, including bottle-nosed dolphins and pilot whales. The catamaran provides comfortable seating, tables, restrooms, and a bar offering ice cream and souvenirs.
We booked a four-and-a-half-hour excursion that commenced promptly. The staff was exceptionally helpful and informative throughout the journey. Upon arrival at the cliffs, we were awestruck by their immense size. On our return, we indulged in a meal and a 40-minute swim. Unfortunately, I was unable to comment on the quality of the food, as I did not partake in it. The soft drinks and a local lager were included in the price and were unlimited. During our return, we were fortunate to witness the sighting of pilot whales, which was an extraordinary experience. Overall, the trip was exceptional, and I firmly believe it is one that should be experienced once in a lifetime. My sole critique was the intrusive and persistent photography sessions that were imposed upon us upon boarding the boat. We politely declined these requests, as we had been persistently persuaded to purchase photographs during the last 30 minutes of our arrival. The cost was as follows: one photograph for €10, two photographs for €15, or four photographs for €20. Should you desire a photograph, please be aware of this cost. If you do not wish to purchase one, simply decline the request upon boarding and proceed to find a seat. I trust this review provides valuable information and may be helpful in making an informed decision about whether to embark on this excursion. I appreciate your attention to my reviews, as it has garnered over 5.1 million reads. Best regards,

We purchased the "4'5H Dolphin & Whale Watching - Los Gigantes Masca - Lunch & Swim" trip from them. We were interested in seeing Los Gigantes rocks from the ocean. The rest, less, almost not at all. Embarkation took place from the port of Colon, in Costa Adeje. Quite difficult, taking into account that the people in charge of boarding insist (practically, they force you) to take pictures of everyone who gets on the ship. Afterwards, they walk with them printed among the tourists, trying to sell them to you. The ship is not very big and it was much too crowded for our taste. Basically, the man and the place. If this would be OK for a transportation type trip from point A to point B, for a cruise it is not very pleasant to be cramped. Lunch, simple, many of us ate it standing with the plate in our arms, there are no tables for all those on board. There is free sangria and orange juice throughout the trip. The journey begins with lunch (Spartan...), served shortly after departure, then a stop for a swim in the ocean (about 30 minutes, if I remember well). It continues until Los Gigantes rocks, then follows the return. There are several stops where you can see the dorsal fins of some pilot whales (in fact, some bigger dolphins). Nothing wow, if you want to see dolphins or orcas you better go to Loro Parque. If you know you have seasick, don't go. I saw quite a few tourists feeling sick and throwing up, although the ocean was not rough. All in all, a sweet-sour experience...
Paul C — Google review
We booked with Tenerife Dolphin, as they were the only one we could find that had a 2 hour cruise. (Even someone trying to sell excursions said there was no 2 hour max cruise). As we were travelling with a 1 and 4 year old, the idea of spending more than 2 hours on a boat didn't seem appealing, and they wouldn't understand why we wouldn't be comfortable swimming with them in the middle of the sea. So this cruise was perfect for us. We parked in the small car park on Ave De Colon, the price is the same as the car park right on the harbour, but with more spaces and easier to get in and out. The walk to the dock was fine, although be careful with young kids as the walk way on the water side of the road, is used for queuing people, so you have to walk in the road to get round and traffic will come up and down the road. We queued a little before getting on the boat, they took your photo before getting on, which we thought was actually really good Value for money, cot was €15 for 1 or €20 for 2 which is a lot cheaper than the local water parks. The boat was busy, but enough seats for everyone, obviously get there early if you want a good seat on the top deck. When they find a group of whales or dolphins, the staff will get as close as they can and actively try to remind people to let children in front so they can see, we got some really good views of whales and dolphins. The underwater viewing part was difficult to get into, one way in and out, and separate sides of the boat. Lots of impatient people was pushing past my 4 year old to get in or out! There were drinks and snacks available to buy on board, In case you did get thirsty or peckish, Definitely worth the money if you aren't fussed about spending all day on the water, and don't want a meal and swim, perfect for families with you g children
Tristan S — Google review
Excellent excursion and worth the price. Swim, lunch, whales 🐳 and magestic Los Gigantes cliffs. Only thing to note is the number of people jam packed onto the boat (~200). At the start, around the time of the swim and lunch being served, it felt very chaotic and busy - with everyone squeezed onto the ground deck, navigating a tight queue system with plates carefully balanced on knees, many soaking wet after the swim. Not particularly enjoyable for those who don't enjoy busy situations. The vegetarian lunch option was basic - vegetable rice, cabbage and more boiled veg. The swim was slightly disappointing as we had read we'd be swimming at the foot of the Los Gigantes cliffs, but instead seemed to be quickly done close to the start to get out the way. Having said that, plenty time given to marvel at the whales, admire the cliffs, watch the sun set behind La Gomera, and bottomless beer, sangria and fizzy.
Jo J — Google review
We saw whales on this tour. The crew was professional, friendly and helpful. We could swim as well with my kids safely with life vests. It was an interesting and informative experience. And they had reusable cups, which is a bonus for me!
Zsófia K — Google review
Absolutely perfect experience on the Royal Delfin! Crew are friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. Whole experience runs perfectly and the whale finding is done organically and doesn't cause harm to the wildlife. The 4.5 hour experience is not for the seasick of this world and if you're unsure if that's you, maybe take a boat out before you go; or try the shorter experience first. Lots of people we went with didn't get to enjoy it as they were sick the whole time- this isnt a fault of the crew or experience so not a negative but a disclaimer! The sea swim was my favourite part of the day, something magical about swimming in that part of the world.
Harry H — Google review
We booked the 4.5 hour trip. The staff were incredible. We saw lots of whales and dolphins. Only suggestion would be to take snacks with you as lunch was served closer to 16:00, with an apple at the start. When we asked about lunch they did give us bananas and you could buy extra food but that was enough to last us.

Barranco del Infierno, also known as Hell's Ravine, is a stunning hiking trail located just outside Adeje in southwest Tenerife. The gorge features towering waterfalls and diverse flora including rare plant species such as drago trees, wild jasmine, and cardoncillo found only in the Canaries. Access to this natural sanctuary is limited to 300 people per day, requiring a pre-arranged permit for the three-hour hike through the ravine.
The experience was great! I suggest to arrive early around 08:30 so that you reach the waterfall at the end of the trail without other people disturbing you and you can enjoy the quietness and the nature. In this way it won’t be also that hot 👍 I was impressed by the canyon/barranco and by the nature, you cross sometimes a small river. All amazing!

We loved it! Wanted to do something different for my 50th birthday. So decided to go hiking. Beautiful scenery as far as the eye can see. The walk to the entrance is very steep so be prepared! The hike itself is not too bad, for beginners might be a bit strenuous but manageable. Just take it easy. Take plenty to drink and some chocolate to keep up the energy. In total 6.5 km up and down.
Gazza “ — Google review
Beautiful experience for nature lovers. Easy hike and a peaceful spot to rest and take in nature. Entry is controlled to preserve the environment, so it feels quiet and not overcrowded. The staff were friendly and gave a clear safety briefing before we set off.
Ann M — Google review
An easy to manage hike, mostly linear. Interesting to see the diversity of the flora and fauna. Better to arrive as early as possible because of the heat. The protective helmet isn’t too nice to wear for the whole hike, but I understand the need and the relevance. Definitely book in advance because of the limited entry and time sloths.
Kormanik B — Google review
A really enjoyable hike of moderate difficulty, with beautiful scenery. Finding parking is quite a challenge, navigating the charming backstreets. Allow 2.5-3 hours. Lots of sunshine and therefore very hot. We had a great time.
S C — Google review
Great easy hike in the Barranco del Infierno. Suitable for kids. Expect 3 hours + around 300m of positive altitude. The first part of the hike is in the heat, exposed to the sun, but the second part is in the shadow of the cliffs and the vegetation. Beautiful and spectacular scenery ! The negative part is that it is a back and forth hike, not a loop. You need to book in advance on the official website.
Antoine L — Google review
We booked our timeslot one day before hand and took a taxi to the entrance. It is a big hill goining up to the entrance. We went at 9 in the morning and there were some people but it was not overcrowded. I would recommend going early on a sunny day. It will be hot and sweaty (if you go diring the summertime) but the views of the sun peeking through the mountains are totally worth it! I am a bit afraid of heights but i didn't feel afraid once during this hike. The path is broad and safe.
Iris — Google review
Beautiful walk to the waterfall. Greatly maintained, clean and safe path. I was amazed by the two completely different biotops that we encountered on this 6,5km walk (3km up, 3km back). Firstly you go via dry land, typical Tenerife, though with many nice plants along the path. But then, quite suddenly, when the path joins the stream, it starts to look and feel as in the rain forrest. With little pools, frogs, sounds of birds...very nice 3 hours spent there. Little fee is fair. Staff was very friendly and as a cherry on the pie, you can buy a photo of you taken at the beginning of the walk. Normally I don't like these but here it was very friendly, with no push and actually nicely made. Great experience!

Huge, varied games like outdoor chess, plenty of shops both clothing, scents and food. The smell coming from some of them was amazing. Definitely worth the trip. The clothing shop checkout was futuristic, youll see what i mean. Blew my mind. Also, If you get a bus from Adeje, you get picked up same exact bus bay you get dropped off. I mention that as their was some confusion amongst people outside I found.

The mall was nice but the top floor was extremely hot. There are several stores and a huge supermarket. We ended up going on a public holiday because everything else was closed. So it was quite busy that day. Be careful of the small cars that children drive. Sometimes they do not pay attention and almost crash up against people. At a certain point we decided to leave due to the crowd. We waited about 30-40 minutes for a taxi. In the future I would probably visit again, but not on a holiday.

A quaint and peaceful, partly covered arcade with shops and a cafe. The entrance is situated on the promenade but could easily be overlooked. It has a beautiful character and worth a visit if you want to browse the shops or grab a quiet coffee (or both of course). There is also a market on a Sunday..

Beaches
Playa de Torviscas is a popular beach located in the bustling resort area of Costa Adeje on the southwestern coast of Tenerife. It boasts golden sands, calm waters, and is well-protected from wind and waves by a large breakwater. The beach offers amenities such as loungers, umbrellas for rent, water sports, bars, and public restrooms. Visitors can enjoy swimming and sunbathing in its cozy and uncrowded atmosphere.
A beautiful, underrated beach. Playa de Torviscas is a decent sized beach, despite the large size it is often very busy; especially around 12-3pm. It is very difficult to find a sun bed around these times so if you would like them, I recommend coming as early as possible. The sand on the beach is grey/black. There is a lot of bars/restaurants/shops around the beach. Street vendors are often found here, and they are very pushy and sometimes won't leave you alone. The waves are usually pretty calm, depending on the wind levels. The first day we came it was impossible to swim because the wind was so prominent. But when there is less wind the water is pretty calm There are also bathrooms here, although they really aren't the best. The few times I went i found that there was no toilet paper, or it was dirty and they aren't very aesthetically pleasing visually if that matters to one. Watersport activities are also available here. I would say the beach is definitely worth paying a visit to and you could definitely spend a full day here.

Undoubtedly, this beach stands out as one of the most picturesque destinations, renowned for its breathtaking sunsets. The setting sun provides an exceptional backdrop for capturing stunning family photographs, with the sea’s vibrant hues serving as a picturesque backdrop.

Accessibility is great here. Special spot for any one that's disabled and the lifeguards have a special trike to help you into the sea if needed and a wooden walkway to get you most of the way there if you can walk. Public toilets are very close amd also an accessible toilet available. Beautiful black sand too. The water is clear and child friendly.

Very nice beach. Black thich sand that is perfectly suitable for running and walking. Compared to other small beaches around its best. Has a good and free public toilet. Surrounded by bars, restaurants, and a McDonalds, where you can always buy an ice cream for 1,3 Euros. 😀 also a popular spot for watching sunrise and sunset

Lovely area. Great beach with plenty of shops, restaurants and bars 😀 plenty for everyone 😃 great beach 🏖️ even the lucky lucky men Took a simple “no thank you”didn’t bother me anymore 👍🏻

Lots of shops and restaurants. Lots to do either on land or sea, go on the boats or play on the inflatables. Rent motorbikes or jetskis, beach is nice as sand is lighter in colour.

Costa adeje beach is fantastic and by far one off our favourite places to relax with plenty of shops and restaurants behind and vip sunbeds to hire with drinks included. 20/25 min walk down the front to Porta calone for all you watersports and activities

Playa de la Pinta is a small, family-friendly beach located in Costa Adeje, offering a lively atmosphere with access to shopping and dining options. The beach is enclosed, providing safety for children and calm waters for swimming. It features soft grayish-colored sand and crystal clear waters with little wave action. Visitors can enjoy various services such as sun lounger rentals, umbrella rentals, sporting activities, boat tours, and local shops for souvenirs.
Beautiful beach with clear water and plenty of sun — though you’ll be sharing it with a crowd and a small army of people selling things. Sunbeds come at a price (naturally), but the sunshine was free and didn’t disappoint. Busy, lively, and buzzing with energy!
Fionn O — Google review
Lovely small sandy beach with sunbeds and parasols available to rent at €6 each. There were lots of bars around the beach and live music, which was excellent. Plenty of street sellers who can be persistent and annoying, but if you simply ignore or an emphatic NO, they walk away. Getting four stars rather than five as no public toilets on this beach.

Nice small beach with lots of Sun beds etc to rent. As per the area lots of bars and shops. As usual plenty of street sellers just smile and say “ no thank you” worked for me! Overall 4**** as I could not see a public toilets !

I enjoyed myself on this beach. So far, of all the beaches I have visited on Tenerife, it is the best, no waves, no strong wind, crystal clear water, fine sand. Sunbeds and umbrellas that you can rent. There are plenty of beach bars and shops. I recommend this beach to everyone who wants to relax and rest.

This beach is renowned for its extensive array of restaurants and bars located along the beachfront promenade. It is meticulously maintained and offers breathtaking views, as well as a wide range of sunbeds for hire catering to diverse preferences. While also offering a wide range of water sports at your service should you choose to participate. Shop around for the best prices.

Water park
Siam Park is a thrilling water park that offers an array of adrenaline-pumping slides and attractions, making it more suitable for thrill-seekers. In contrast, Aqualand is better suited for families with younger children due to its kid-friendly features. While Siam Park has taller height restrictions on some of its more intense rides, both parks offer a fun-filled day out for visitors of all ages.
Best in the word. I do recomand buying a VIP pass. A bit expensive but if you are a fan of parks like that is really worthy. The queues for each ride were infernal. We end up going 4 or 5 times on one slide while other people were advancing only 5 steps. The same for all of them except for one water slide which doesn’t have a fast pass but is still worth it at least once. Definitely you will need some water shoes but they do sell it there at around 11 euros. You can take a locker aswell for your belongings. Be there before they open, make sure you don’t miss anything.
Iulia J — Google review
Siam Park is absolutely amazing – the rides, the atmosphere, and the overall experience are top-notch! It’s definitely a must-visit if you’re in Tenerife. However, it’s hard not to notice that, like everywhere in the world, money talks. Those who purchased the €38 fast pass were able to skip the lines and enjoy the slides much quicker, while the rest of us, the “average” visitors, had to wait 40–50 minutes for most attractions. Still, if you don’t mind the waiting times (or if you’re willing to pay extra for the fast pass), you’ll have an unforgettable day here!
Pollák ' — Google review
This is by far the best waterpark I have ever visited. The variety of slides is outstanding, and I particularly enjoyed spending time in the wave pool, which was both exciting and relaxing. A useful tip for future visitors: although the official opening time listed on Google is 10:00, I highly recommend arriving around 8:30–9:00 a.m. This allows you to secure the best sunbeds, especially those located in front of the wave pool, which offer the most convenient and enjoyable spot for the day. Another recommendation is to purchase the Fast Pass (€38 at the time of my visit). It proved to be absolutely worth it, as regular queues for many of the popular slides were between 40–60 minutes. Thanks to the pass, I was able to enjoy all the attractions without long waiting times. Overall, this park exceeded my expectations and provided an experience that was both thrilling and memorable. I will certainly return on my next visit, it truly offers a perfect mix of fun, relaxation, and excitement.

Playas de Troya, located in the Playa de las Americas tourist area of Tenerife, consists of two beaches - Troya and Troya l. The 650m long and 20m wide dark volcanic sand beach offers loungers, straw parasols, and stunning sunset views. Known for its safety and cleanliness, it is a popular spot for families with children to enjoy the crystal clear ocean.
A beach with dirty yellow, already gray volcanic sand, but fine and quite pleasant. It is not rough gravel or coarse sand. The breakwaters here create smaller beaches, but with a view to the west, so it is ideal for sunsets here and romantic evenings. During the day, with good visibility, you can see La Gomera.

It is always crowded. So keep an eye out on your stuff. We always took only card from our hotel room. No phones, no wallets. We wanted to see something interesting with the masks but we were disappointed. Almost no ocean creatures and lots of rubbish.

Here you find life. Instead of boring small beaches or rocky beaches. You have two options the quiet beach at the right or the beach with fun waves in the middle. I didn't try the left one. I tried other beaches but noooo. Next time I will go back to this smooth sandy wide beach with the same hotel behind it.

One of the most practical beaches arround the area. The beach is sandy, you have bars and restaurants available in the area with decent prices. Very popular with tourists, so if you like a quiet beach, this is not for you. But dor a quick dip in the sea, it is good. Megabowl Tenerife is a vibrant and welcoming establishment with friendly staff. The owner ensures that guests are well taken care of, providing clean socks for those in need and offering reasonable prices for families. In addition to bowling, they have pool and air hockey to keep visitors entertained while waiting for a lane. The fully stocked bar adds to the experience, making it a great place to visit on future holidays.
Great fun way to cap off a Saturday date night! We popped in around 22:45 and had a lane and some wine by 23:00. Played a couple games, had some complimentary popcorn and really enjoyed ourselves. I liked that they had lighter balls with bigger finger holes.

⭐ Megabowl Tenerife – Costa Adeje Review ⭐ We visited Megabowl Tenerife in Costa Adeje late one evening during a family walk, and we were not disappointed! Our group was quite large — 13 of us in total, with 6 adults and children ranging from 2 to 16 years old — and the staff were absolutely brilliant from start to finish. They quickly got our lanes organised and even brought over a large bowl of popcorn for everyone to share, which was a lovely surprise and added to the friendly atmosphere. The facilities were clean, modern, and well looked after, making it a great spot for both kids and adults to enjoy. Prices were very reasonable, especially for a popular family venue in Costa Adeje. The only small downside for me personally was that the bowling balls felt a bit uncomfortable on the fingers, so perhaps they could do with a refresh. Aside from that minor point, we had a fantastic time and I’d highly recommend Megabowl Tenerife to anyone looking for a fun evening out. We’ll definitely be visiting again next time we’re in Costa Adeje! 🎳

We are a family of 7 and were delighted Kareem and his team could accommodate us all on one lane. This place is very well organised from checking in, getting your snazzy shoes to setting up your lane. The vibe in the place is just great, brilliant music, friendly staff and great value for money, After our game of bowls we went into the bar area for drinks and to play some snooker and use the arcade, Our 5 boys ages range from 6yr - 15yrs and every one of them enjoyed mega bowl thoroughly! Special shout out and thanks to Kareem for taking his time to welcome us & have a chat and the unlimited supply of popcorn which was really kind and appreciated! Whale watching tour agency
The Monte Cristo catamaran offers an unforgettable experience for whale and dolphin watching in Tenerife. With a maximum of 24 people on board, the tour provides a personalized setting with knowledgeable guides. Guests can enjoy sightings of dolphins and pilot whales while being served delicious drinks, and even have the opportunity to snorkel. The pleasant atmosphere, quality food and drinks, as well as excellent service make this tour highly sought after, so it's recommended to book in advance.
Michael and Edmond were great hosts! We have seen pilot whales (looked like dolphins:)), had an amazing sailing experience, then we got delicious tapas (all kind of) and unlimited drinks (their wines are quite good)! We had opportunity to swim a bit in a nice bay. The transfer from and to our accommodation was smooth. So, summarized, it was one of our best experiences in Tenerife.
Bakonyvári C — Google review
We received the tour for the whale and dolphin watching as a gift. We were picked up on time without problems. The staff was very friendly. There were drinks available for free (water, cola, fanta, beer, kava). There was also some food served later during the trip. It was a small buffet but tasty. We were able to see some whales and dolphins. They came quite close to the ship so we got a good view and even took some videos. The place where they took us swimming was nice. We spent around 40 min there, so plenty of time for a swim. The only issue some people may have is getting sea sick. The waves can be quite big so the boat can move a lot. And people can get wet from the waves when sitting on the deck. Overall, we really enjoyed it and certainly recommend the tour :)
Lucia M — Google review
Would have easily given 4 stars without a problem. I don’t care a about a cracked window or some mouldy edges, don’t bother if it’s just some everyday tapas, what would you expect from a 3hr round trip for this kind of money. Beverages are cold and plenty, crew is helpful and polite. Captain could have stopped at a more interesting place for a swim though. What use are goggles if there’s only white sand beneath you? No single fish or plant in sight. But most of all: watch out for captain’s instructions. If he says: stay close to the boat, he means it. Don’t know how you are about to measure distance if you are floating face down in the current, but don’t dare wonder a few feet astray… Plus: I honestly did not know we were not to swim underneath the boat (it’s a catamaran - we did tours like these before and it’s never been an issue and the sea was calmer than a mirror) and there was no mention of it in the instructions. Captain does not “remind” you politely but prefers to yells at you in front of all passengers. And to top it all off: I even went to apologise for my “ignorance” (to teach my kids they should reason instead of argue) but he wouldn’t have anything of it. Too bad for both organisation and crew, but all that’s left is not the view of the pilot whales nor the warm sea or ice-cold beer with spectacular views, but a feeling of being violated without probable cause. Hope he just had a bad day, but it might be the kind of selfrighteous professional who’s in it for milking tourists with no ambition whatsoever to accommodate a nice afternoon on the ocean.
Brecht V — Google review
Excellent day, from being picked up and dropped of at our hotel door. Hosts on the boat were magnificent and very professional, couldn't do enough for you. And of course, finding the pod of pilot whales made the day. Highly recommend this as part of anyone's holiday to Tenerife.

Very nice experience from the beginning, Laura pick up us from hotel, nicely drive to port than meet Larisa who care about us before getting in boat. We struggled to find whales but finally we found them, than after close to red mountain we had a stop for tapas and some bath in the ocean, we highly recomand and see you soon. 🥂🐳

We had an amazing day on this boat. The crew was very nice. We found plenty of whales (5-7m long) and could observe them closely. This tour is mainly to watch whales. The tapas was offered onboard and we had a chance to swim from the boat in the ocean.

It's much better to shop along the main streets during evening strolls (the prices are much lower and more affordable). Some stalls aren't bad, but always try to bargain. Parking is very difficult to find at any time. I recommend arriving early because it's very hot, and you may need to get a taxi/bus/scooter. No car. There's a covered parking lot opposite (at the shopping center). The first hour is free, but it's always full... the same goes for the Mercadillo parking lot, which is always full. Overall, avoid it; I don't recommend it. Nature preserve
Nestled in the stunning region of Costa Adeje, Tenerife, the Monumento Natural de La Caldera del Rey is a captivating site that showcases remarkable geomorphological features. This shallow caldera was formed through a dramatic volcanic explosion when magma met water, resulting in an impressive landscape filled with lush vegetation and thriving crops like bananas and tomatoes. As part of Adeje's protected natural areas, it stands alongside other notable sites such as Barranco del Infierno and parts of Teide National Park.

Although the ENP T-23 is a Natural Monument, it does not make sense for it to be one, there is little that is natural about it. Although its curious geomorphology is still observable, which has been the reason for cataloging, because the banana ecosystem is not natural, as I have already said. Tenerife Zoo Monkey Park, often called the "biggest little zoo in the World," is a compact yet impactful breeding center for endangered primates. Located just a short drive from Los Cristianos and Playa de las Americas, this zoo offers walk-through cages where visitors can interact with and feed various animals such as iguanas, toucans, lemurs, squirrel monkeys, marmosets, and parrots.
Definitely worth a visit! It was a really great experience, and both children and adults were very happy. The highlight was getting so close to the monkeys and other animals, which made the visit unforgettable. We bought our tickets in advance, so we didn’t have to wait in the long queue and saved a lot of time. Inside the park, you can also buy food to feed the animals, which makes the experience even more fun. The park is clean, well organised, and not overcrowded, making it perfect for families. Just make sure to come early in the morning when the animals are more active and willing to eat
An N — Google review
An amazing place to visit. A great place for kids to see animals from so close and to feed animals. Need to Pay extra for animal feed- not allowed to bring your own. The zoo is not very big but very busy with visitors, despite everyone is moving, there is no ques to be waiting in. I would highly recomend to visit if near by.
Nerija R — Google review
One of the best small zoo’s I visited. It's perfect few hour hang out for families with children. Kids mainly enjoyed feeding guinea pigs and monkeys. I wish capybaras would be there as well!! That's the only downside! Prices are good and you can purchase food to feed animals for €3. I would advise to come at early morning before crowds of tourists come.
J B — Google review
Great place to spend the day, there are monkeys, guinea pigs and birds of all shapes and colours here. You can feed the animals with food from the front gate, at the time of this review the price is €3 a pot and it contains fruit and vegetables There is a small car park that gets full quick but there is also a taxi rank just outside the park entrance full of taxis There are free clean toilets on site and easy access ramps for disabled to
David C — Google review
A very nice place, especially for children. You have the opportunity to observe lemurs up close. There are many types of monkeys. You can buy food and feed the animals, but if you visit the zoo later in the day, the animals will have eaten well :)
Galin M — Google review
We had a lovely trip here today! Not crazy crowded and lovely animal conservation. Ticket prices have gone up since last year, but the quality of the park, the enclosures etc has also improved, so well worth the €10. would love to return.
Leonie P — Google review
It's a lovely zoo overall. The animals look well looked after and it's spaced out quite nicely. The staff are friendly and it's reasonably priced. However, my one change to the place would be that I think they should install some sort of traffic system to the walk through enclosures. It's no fault of the zoo itself, but despite the copious amounts of signage in the park about not touching the animals, all I saw in the walk through enclosures were hoards of people trying to pet the squirrel monkeys and lemurs, even the giant tortoise who were constantly trying to walk away from from everyone but constantly cornered. Irresponsible parents letting their children chase the animals and corner them, even adults blatantly ignoring the signs that are pasted all over the park. The monkeys especially looked uncomfortable and stressed, one in particular got fed up and snapped at a woman and I sort of hoped it would've bitten her to teach a lesson. I think it would be less stressful for these animals if the zoo implemented a traffic system so they can monitor the walk through enclosures better. Otherwise, it's a lovely place to visit.
Herm S — Google review
We had this booked through tenerife best excursions which came with discounted tickets for the park (only €5pp). It's an amazing park with plenty of animals/birds to see and even feed! Food only costs €3 for a pot and you can feed as many guinea pigs as you could imagine. Very polite and friendly staff at the entrance as well as within the enclosures.

Lovely beach to lounge and chill out on. Lots of Shops and bars are on the front, catering for all tastes. Lovely ice cream place midway. I spent time watching the volley ball...or maybe just the guys playing volleyball in honesty. The sea is cordoned off, so you can't go too far out..which I think is a good idea. Family friendly. I didn't see any pets, so maybe not pet friendly. But that's a positive, as there is no hidden surprise in the sand!

Really lovely area. It was so easy to find the place at the port for our boat trip, everything is sign posted which is great. The beach there itself is lovely, for young children its a great place to swim as its quite shallow for some time before getting deep. The shops around are really good prices and perfect for souvenirs.

The beach's tranquil ambiance allows visitors to unwind while enjoying stunning ocean views.
We enjoyed this beach because it doesn't have big waves, the rocks stop them. The underground parking is amazing, walking out of it you are right on the beach. But be careful with your things, we heard people got their belongings stolen while they were swimming.

Beautiful beach with clear and tranquil waters. There is a bar where you an get reasonable priced and very nice drinks (cocktails are €6 and a pint of Estrella is €2.5). 2 sunlonger and umbrella are €12. The three stars are because there are no toilets on the beach, but there is the usual shower. Plenty vendors with donuts, drinks and sunglasses too !

I read that the duck pancakes were worth travelling for- and around here any ‘travel’ means tackling hills that feel like mountains!! So we walked 15 mins downhill to find this gem tucked up on the front with a spectacular view. They don’t disappoint! This is authentic food. The pancakes were pancakes (not flour disks that dry and break) the sauce was home made, and the duck cooked by someone who knows how to roast a duck! The best duck pancakes I have ever eaten- and I’ve eaten plenty. Sadly, my eyes were bigger than my belly so I am taking home 1/2 the wet menu as it beat us in the heat- but it was great Chinese food done properly. Lovely staff who were attentive without being pushy. If you are in the area- find them- you won’t be disappointed you choose Chinese whilst in Tenerife!

⭐ 4/5 – Great Beach with a Few Limitations Playa de El Bobo is a lovely beach—clean, easy to access, and great for a relaxed day by the sea. Sunbeds and parasols are available for €6, and the natural rock wave breaker makes the water calmer and safer for swimming. But rocks under foot at places sea shoes recommend There are a few “lookie lookie” men walking around selling food, drinks, and towels, but they’re not pushy or harassing—just doing their thing. There’s no public toilet facility, which is a bit of a downside, but there is a small café stand nearby selling drinks and light refreshments. A solid beach option if you’re staying near the strip

Nice beach for children to have fun, and for toddlers too, no waves, however, there are pebbles, so you can consider it as a natural swimming pool. great for swimming with ease for a long time. Best time to watch the sunset, so enjoy this beach for a romantic picnic to watch the sunset, great for pictures of sunset.

Great beach, with multiple restaurants everywhere. We could see a lot of crabs here, black ones, it was a great experience. Also, even if there are some rocks in the water, that didn't bothered us because there were no waves at all most of the days when we went there. Lovely, purely gorgeous and fits for babies

Review for the CoqueLuche beach bar and sunlongers. Pretty quiet beach with grey sand, not much waves and considerable less vendor noise. They do come, but are very quiet and less insisted on buying stuff. Sunlongers are double the price of Troya beach and the others at €24 for 2 sunlonger and umbrella. Food and drink are good but also more expensive than your usual in the are. You do have waiters taking and bringing in your orders at the sunlonger table so I guess you pay for that too. Prices are not for everyone and certainly I would not come every day, but a visit is recommended for sure 👌.

I recently visited Jungle Adventure Tenerife with my two children, aged 9 and 5, and we all had an absolute blast! The play area is fantastic, there’s so much to do, and my kids didn’t want to leave. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making the experience even better. I had read a previous review mentioning that the toilets were a bit far from the main area, which made me a little concerned, but I was pleasantly surprised! The toilets were actually only about 30 seconds away, so it wasn’t an issue at all. The prices were really reasonable, and it was super convenient that they sold socks onsite (a lifesaver for when we forgot ours). Overall, I highly recommend Jungle Adventure Tenerife for a fun, family friendly outing!

The playground itself is fantastic, filled with a variety of fun and engaging equipment that kept our daughter entertained for hours. What really stood out to us was the incredible staff. They were not only friendly and welcoming but also genuinely enthusiastic about making sure the kids had a great time. They went above and beyond to ensure safety and fun, engaging with the kids and even organizing impromptu games and activities. Their energy and positivity made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Daughter wants to go here mainly because of the staff members. The facility was clean and well-maintained, with plenty of seating areas for parents to relax while keeping an eye on their little ones. We also appreciated the convenient amenities like place to order food, coffee etc. Overall, Jungle Adventure X-Sur is a fantastic place for kids. We will definitely be returning soon and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fun and safe place for their kids to play. Kudos to the amazing staff for making our visit so memorable!

Great day at the beach. Quite small compared to others available. Loved snorkelling and the abundance of fish just 10-20m from the shore. Sand is softer than it looks in the pictures online and water was warm. Plenty of restaurants and live music to keep you entertained. Would love to visit again.
Globe T — Google review
Great beach with nice water and sand, but a few buts.. 1. As any other city beach, this one is not an exception, the amount of people is massive, very loud and you can’t relax there to chill under the sun. 2. Another reason is people coming to you trying to sell you cheap stuff or braids. During 1 hour we’ve been approached 6 times and the main problem here is that they sell it that aggressive that you don’t feel comfortable in any way. I am cool to say cold-hearted “No”, but most people aren’t. And you can feel the pressing when they talk to you. Very annoying.
Nick K — Google review
It would be a very nice beach for families staying in the family friendly hotels around with soft sand , great walk-in in the sea - however there are cigarettes everywhere in the sand, other waste left by everybody and nobody cleans it up. Having been here with my little son I was constantly removing litter while building sandcastles…not sure for what the 12 € per sun lounger are used .. definitely not for keeping the beach in a family friendly and healthy state. Definitely would not recommend it to anyone who has the health of their kids or the nature on its mind

I didn't like this beach. The sand section in the water was very short and mostly rocky, no large parking nearby, the paid sunbeds were far from the water, and when I went deeper in the water there was a fish attacking my feet. Also very crowded and small.

Lovely little all from Sabila hotel to La Caleta. Quite little place but does have some nice cafes. Didn’t spend all that much time there. Stopped for a coffee then meandered back to the main Adeje bit. Worth a walk and has a nice big rock thing in the middle you can walk up which gives fabulous views
Francesca P — Google review
It’s the beautiful bay that we went to see. . The town itself is quite small. No beach as such but lots of big rocks that groups or singletons can sit/lie on. A lot of them have ladders into the sea. More an adult place to go to than a place for children so the atmosphere is chilled relaxed. Just a nice place to wander around, sit in the shade of a bar and have a cool beer. Easy to get to by bus - very cheap too. Most restaurants have a seafood bias but do other food too.

Lovely little coastal village. Definitely on the up, since our last visit 5 years ago. Great place to have a coffee and watch surfing, if the waves are good.
Mark B — Google review
La Caleta is a lovely place to visit if you want to experience old Tenerife. It was a fishing village and you can still get a feel if that now as you explore the narrow streets. It's nearly all focused along the front and there are a couple of up and down streets taking you away and back into the promenade. There isn't a beach here but lots of steps going into the sea from the rocks, at the far end there is a stony area where you can sunbathe. It is home to some really lovely eateries, a real mix of traditional and high end. You will find traditional tapas, fresh fish restaurants, cafes, Italian, steak etc .... So many. It isn't a tourist trap but has changed a lot in recent years with the building of the hotel which has changed the landscape.

Really sad. These animals lives are limited to a pool and doing tricks. They should be free swimming hundreds of miles a day
Jack — Google review
I can confidently say the dolphins at Aqualand are genuinely well cared for — healthy, happy, and clearly thriving. It’s obvious how much love and attention the trainers give them. These animals are nurtured, not forced — they have playtime, stimulation, and space, and you can see they want to interact. It’s not about cruelty here — it’s about conservation, connection, and care. Money raised even goes towards dolphin protection efforts, which is incredible. My daughter, who has a life-limiting disability, was lucky enough to get up close thanks to the kindness of Merina and the amazing Dolphinarium team. They made it such a special, emotional moment for us — one we’ll carry forever. Seeing her light up with the dolphins, smiling and full of joy after all her struggles, meant the world to me as her mum. I’m beyond grateful. Oh — and the show itself? One of the best we’ve ever seen. Full of energy, passion, and genuine dolphin enthusiasm. When animals are truly happy, you can feel it — and we definitely did. Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts. 💙🐬

El Balito is a hidden gem, a stunning bay that offers the chance of solitude. Accessible via a rocky but navigable path, it's advisable to park at the top and make the 300-meter descent on foot due to worsening road conditions. Despite the appearance of dilapidated buildings in the area, once you arrive, it's a fantastic spot for diving and snorkeling with no crowds in sight.
Great place for snorkeling with deep waters, ladders down into the sea, rocky shelves full of fish and lots of opportunities to swim! The road down is very bumpy and only for experienced drivers. The only let down of the place is that there is some rubbish and mess around the parking areas.

Small bay, not a lot place (all on pier). Access to water only by ladder
Max B — Google review
It’s very nice, but in one of the lockhouses, there are dangerous dogs and people who can't see and who own those dogs, and so it s dangerous to get off
Angelo C — Google review
Abandoned area, access to El Balito very dirty and not representative, but once you arrive there you can enjoy the water and swimming.
Vlada S — Google review
Awesome Divespot. The access is quite rocky and sandy. A 4x4 is ideal to get there!

Sculpture
Pescadora is a monument located at the entrance of Puerto de Santiago, dedicated to the fish sellers who were vital to the town's economy in the past. The sculpture depicts a fisherwoman carrying fish in a basket and a bucket, symbolizing the importance of fishing in this area. It is well-maintained with water fountains around it, but traffic around the roundabout can be challenging. This monument holds historical significance for the community as it represents their heritage as a former fishing village.
Not much to say but for a traffic circle, it is so nice
Tom E — Google review
It’s a traffic roundabout with water fountains on the complete circle and a statue in the centre. It’s clean, tidy and the plants were watered several times the week I went past it. The traffic going around it sometimes can be a bit daunting. There’s an opening for entrance and exit to a private carpark right or the side of the roundabout. Not the greatest of ideas.
Simon R — Google review
It's a roundabout with a very impressive statue. You've reached Los Gigantes! Not an attraction though...

(Translated by Google) This monument or sculpture located right at the entrance to the town of Puerto de Santiago. This sculpture is dedicated to the fish sellers of this Portuense town since in the past it was its main economic engine, and from which many Santiago families survived. According to the oldest people in the area, many of these saleswomen used to walk with their basket on their heads through many towns in the municipality and neighbors. The view from this point is amazing! Climbing the mountain is tough but worth it. Note that there are absolutely no any comfortable things to enjoy the view! This place is absolutely not equipped. You will sit almost on the floor near the lonely palm. Just road and walking path. No even a bench.

Beautiful spot, worth all the hike. We got there through 'Himmelsteppe' (stairs to heaven) and it's a great training if you into it. View from the top is really amazing, overlooking most of Adeje coastline.
