A great value for money. Located at an extremely important junction. Great for travellers along this route. Food is very nice. Staff is lean, but courteous and prompt. Rooms are spacious, and the beds in twin bed accomodation are very wide.

Went to Dinner for a anniversary celebration. Wakila parveen and Priyanka were absolutely amazing! They were so friendly and helpful, making our dining experience truly enjoyable. They went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed and were always smiling. We would definitely come back again just to be served by them!

I recently had the opportunity to stay at Mastiff Grand Hotel in Dharwad, and overall, it was a comfortable and satisfying experience, especially for travelers looking for a quality stay near the highway. Located conveniently off the Pune–Bengaluru Highway (NH4), this hotel offers a pleasant stopover for both leisure and business travelers. The first impression of the hotel was very positive. The property is well-maintained with a modern exterior and ample parking space. Check-in was quick and smooth, with the front desk staff being courteous and professional. Special mention to the reception team, who were always polite and ready to assist with any queries. The room quality deserves appreciation. I stayed in a Deluxe room, which was spacious, clean, and equipped with modern amenities like a flat-screen TV, mini-fridge, tea/coffee maker, and a digital safe. The bed was large and comfortable with fresh linens, and the bathroom was spotless, featuring a good-quality shower with hot water available round-the-clock. Housekeeping was prompt and ensured the room was cleaned daily without the need for reminders. One of the highlights was the complimentary breakfast buffet, served in the in-house restaurant. It had a decent spread of both North and South Indian dishes, along with toast, cereals, juice, and tea/coffee. The taste was good and the service staff were attentive. We also dined at the restaurant for dinner and were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. The menu had a variety of vegetarian and non-vegetarian options at reasonable prices. The hotel also has a swimming pool, gym, and spa, although I didn’t get a chance to use the spa. The pool area was clean and not too crowded. These facilities add to the overall value, especially for guests staying for more than a night. Another advantage of Mastiff Grand is its banquet and conference facilities. During my stay, there was a corporate event being held, yet it did not disturb the peace or create any inconvenience for other guests, showing that the hotel manages events efficiently. However, one thing to keep in mind is that the hotel is located away from the city center. If your plans involve exploring Dharwad city or local markets, you’ll need to arrange transport. For those with their own vehicle or traveling on business, the location near the highway is ideal. In summary, Mastiff Grand Hotel offers excellent value for money in terms of cleanliness, amenities, and hospitality. While it might not be ideal for tourists looking to explore the city on foot, it is perfect for transit travelers, business guests, and families seeking a peaceful and upscale stay on the outskirts of Dharwad. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would consider staying here again on my next trip.
