20250323 Climb from 6:15 on Sunday
After completing the tour of Kyushu's 100 Famous Mountains, it went into hibernation, but has started to resume its activities.
First of all, we attacked the mountains of Kansai.
Today is the fourth and final day of the night ferry ride from Moji to Kobe. (Ah, so lonely😭)
I made a round trip in 2:30 on the route of Mt. Yukihiko trailhead ⇛ Mt. Otendake ⇛ Mt. Yukihiko ⇛ Hokotateyama ⇛ Junction Peak ⇛ Mt. Yukihiko trailhead.
The beginning is quite a steep climb.
From the middle of the mountain onwards, the trail is gentle.
The view from the top of the mountain is breathtaking.
There are very few tapes, etc., but don't get lost.
The trail is easy to walk except for the beginning. (However, be careful when using the mountain trail that runs parallel to the descending river when the water is rising or when the river has overflowed ⚠️ + Be careful only when the branch point to Mt. Jizo climbs the slope of the mountain instead of descending parallel to the river ⚠️)
By the way, I was nervous because I heard that this is an ancient training path and that there are many chains, but compared to famous mountains with chains, there are fewer chains and they are not as vertical. Actually, there are some parts where you don't need to use chains (lol)
However, there are some places you can't get to unless you grab a rock or something. Also, there are some precipices, so if you take a break or let your guard down, you will die instantly.
By the way, there is almost no snow remaining from the heavy snow 3 days ago.
We started climbing at 6:15, so there were no cars in the parking lot, so we didn't see anyone.
However, there were 19 parked cars on the way down, so it seems like a popular mountain.
Many people seem to be enjoying the scenery, or rather, climbing the mountains. Also, can I do some rock climbing?
